To say that my life undergoes deep changes at the moment is understatement. deep crisis is the word. During the last half year I lost my family, as I was kicked out from home for a reason that lay back 7 years before my salvation through Jesus, and I am in biggest financial trouble, also for reasons I am not responible for (false accusasions against our family here). Also my church kicked me out. I tried to cope with the situation and still kept reporting. I understand that a lot people and even good friends do not understand my acting, even I did not plan to disappoint them or hurt their feelings. If that happened I feel deepest sorry. I tried to be a watchman as long a possible and to tell what I see...
Seems this has to come to an end now.
My life is in big trouble and experienced strange things that I could not understand and explain. I found some bloggers who tried to find out about this, same like me. I tried to find connection symbols which expressed this experience and published it on another blog. This does not mean I believe in Odin. I do not believe in a whichhunt too, but maybe that will happen now.
I am overloaded by all this myself. Now it seems I am the one who is beeing pointed to. If I earn it, it may be so. May the Lord be my judge.
Still I thank you for all the years and trust that you have been with me and my message.

I have been saddened and sickened all day by what you see at my left. It appears to be "Farmer's" other blogspot. Sadly, it is as New Age/Pagan/anti-God as can be. New Agers on the web have taken great comfort and enjoyment from it. Pray for our "Farmer" that he will repent from this. I am truly astounded, but I can let this deception proceed no further among us -- there is, however, always room for repentance. I would caution, however, that the day may soon be here of which the Scriptures warned, "IT IS FINISHED -- let he who is righteous among you be righteous still, let he who is filthy among you be filthy still . . ." Sorry, Björn, one may not have simultaneous communion from the table of demons (Shiva, Odin) and the table of God. This was ROUGH -- even by New Age standards which are usually more subtle.''

For what it is worth...My husband was listening to NPR recently and heard about an author about to publish a book on "The fellowship" which the writer considered a secret society and one of the members was the governor of South Carolina....Sanford who has fallen from grace. US Pastor Rick Warren prophecied that the enemy of the 21st century will be fundamentalists of all colours. How comes Warren to such an idea? And what has this all to do with intercultural communication? The aim of this lecture is first to point to the fact that intitatives of intercultural communication backed by politicians and an enormous media hype create the emerging of a new kind of faith, that seems to fit the needs of a globalised world. The lecture shows the background and the main ideologies of this new faith, its symbols and how they are enforced/communicated by the media and in current events. The author is able to show the link between 2008 May 22 EU Night of the Dialogue of Anna Lindh Foundation and the coming New Age hype of a world end of 2012, including its message in the lastest Hollywood productions, the 2007 peace proposal of the Jerusalem Peace Foundation, the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations initiative and it's Media Clearing House, as well as in the EU-Euromed initiative, the French Proposal for a Meditarian Union and the Crans Montana Dialogue. The author further shows expectable problems when it comes down to dealing with "traditional" beliefs and its adherents, as in the publications of mentioned intercultural initiatives the declared enemies are the extremists. Have fundamentalists an extremistic worldview? Is it extreme to have a monotheistic faith or does extremism start with daily prayer? Does fundamentalist belief forbid intercultural communication? Where are the limits of faith? On the AoC 2008 meeting EU's Foreign Supremo Solana called for an enforcement of already existing rules against extremists. Although Ex-AoC member Geneive Abdo calls this UN intercultural initiative even a "perversion of civilized society and threat to world order (in the 2008 July edition of "Foreign Policy"), she requests at the same time for an exact definition of extremists and says "the interfaith movement, as it's developed on a big scale, is on the wrong track and is deceptive." The new global faith, seeming so much tolerant - has its own dogma and creates a new enemy to the world by its intolerancy towards fundamentalist believers of all colour. Are there not ways of intercultural communication AND keeping the faith? The author shows that - although differing to the picture depicted so often by the media - fundamentalist believers have indeed existing approaches in practicing intercultural communication and that hospitality has quite a lot to do with faith and is a form of intercultural communication and different belief systems have different approaches since long, as can been shown for example already in the biblical accounts of the three strangers visting Abraham outside and Lot in Sodom. The question is not, if its practicable today, but will believers or even fundamentalists get a chance to utter their voice and to present their versions and has the science of intercultural communication means to cope with other approaches of cross-culture-communication than the ones of the financially backed loud voices?

bjorn/farmer became a beleiver, due to Herb Peters and his website and yoked together with him before Constance Cumbey even had this blogspt. He infiltrated no one.
I awoke to take headache medicine and have read only the very last of the comments, the only one not collapsed with the "collapse comments" section. The Levin family of Detroit is a large and an influential one. Hsnnsh Gladstone (deceased) was Bill Gladstone's wife and Carl and Sandor Levin's sister. She was a neighbor of ours in the Jeffersonian Apartment building where we moved after my husband suffered the tragic loss of both of his legs when a woman with only $20 thousand in insurance hit the car parked behind his. Hannah read my books and was supportive of my work, as is Dorothy. The Levin family, of course is Jewish. I have long since been out of the legislative loop. This agent-provocateur (I have to assume that may be the case) is acting very much like the scribes in the Bible seeking to trip up Jesus. Prior to writing my books, I had close access to governmental figures here in Michigan. From time to time I still legally represent some on personal matters which, of course, I am bound by confidentiality. The Levin family was always kind to me. I guess this person who initially maintained that Michigan was anti-Semitic is now controlled by yours truly (don't I just wish -- I would make A LOT of changes). . . A better New Age strategy was hardly ever devised. Now that is the person who is the frustrated lawyer who would wrest words and scripture to their own destruction.

It strikes me that Roma must be talking with him closely and if the object of one so free about Odin/Shiva/"Blue God" who goes online by "Far More" as well as "Farmer" wanted to divide the "fundamentalists" to accomplish the New Age objective of having them fight among themselves, it has remarkably succeeded here.
My understanding is that the "little vixen" is one of his students and that he was ethically as the university professor he is, obliged to stay away from them. The last report I had was that there is no repentance towards his wife and family either. Deeply concerned friends of the family have contacted me.

May Herb Peters be vindicated by what I and many others have tried to do here to his little lamb disciple and bring him back to the fold.

I read at News With Views that the Pope has come out publicly for World Government. Let's hear it for Roman Catholicism.
In the book of Acts, we read about Simon "the Sorcerer", a man who became a "believer and was baptized". Yet, when this same man grieved the Holy Spirit, (by showing he had "two hearts"), Peter told him flat out that if he did not repent of his sin(s) he was facing perdition, aka hellfire.
Peter loved Simon enough to provide the sternest of warnings, publicly.
May the same measure be used for any who take pride or satisfaction in digging up dirt and "outing" someone.

I should not have put any words in your mouth. I am sorry. But you can decide if the following sounds familiar.

Frankly I don't remember where I gleaned the following, but I had thought it was from a Seventh Day Adventist website, and admittedly many details come from various sources, including my own research within the Bible itself.
The bottom line is that the source is Exodus 12 and 13, Leviticus 23 and 25, and Numbers 29.
I've written all this three times now and have had

I'm going to take the hint , I believe, from God and
pare it down to the bare bones, even though the details just get more and more amazing as you go.
Suffice to say Gods Holy Word is wonderful, amazing, marvelous, awesome, deep and like Jesus' robe it's "seamless and woven throughout from top to bottom".
To whit:
There are seven Feasts instituted by God which were to be observed by Israel "every year by an ordinance forever."
I'll leave the Jewish interpretation to Len or whoever
may want to comment, but the original plain meaning is obvious to anyone who reads the text.
It's clear that God wanted Israel to never forget how he delivered them out of bondage in Egypt with a mighty hand.
Bear in mind that Jesus said; "Think not that I
have come to destroy the Torah and the Prophets, but to fulfill them".
Also bear in mind how Paul says in Colossians
2:16-17, "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon or of the sabbath days, which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ."
1. Passover ( Pesach ) On the 14th day of the first month which is now our April/ May time frame:
For Christians this is clearly the time when they crucified Jesus, who is the "Lamb slain before the foundation of the world." It has been pointed out that at the very moment that the spear was thrust into Jesus' side, that the priests in the temple were slaughtering the Passover Lamb.

2. Unleavened Bread begins the very next day after Passover and runs for one week.
It commemorates the Israelites leaving Egypt in a hurry and putting unleavened bread into the folds or pockets of their coats as they walked out into the wilderness. This unleavened bread would sustain them until God rained down the Manna from heaven.
For Christians this is a picture of Jesus in the tomb
( like a fold or pocket in the earth ). He had told them that he is the bread of life, as John recorded
in chapter 6 of his Gospel.
Leaven, or yeast, is a symbol of teachings which permeate a community and the community rises or falls accordingly. Jesus had told them to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees.
Jerusalem would be sacked and burned to the ground about seventy years after he went back to his Father.
The Pharisees teachings were at that time not so much from the Torah as they were from the Mishna which was later written down and which we now know as the Talmud. The Pharisees were false teachers and were in fact only interested in keeping a stranglehold on their steady source of income which came from exchanging the monies of all the pilgrims who came to the temple from all over.
Jesus is the sincere unleavened bread of truth.
3. Firstfruits
This annual Feast would commemorate a time when Israel would come into the promised land and begin to cultivate the land and raise crops. The very earliest crops were to be dedicated to God.
For us, the resurrected Jesus is the first of a new creation; the spiritual body that we Christians look forward to having one day. He is the New Adam. We see glimpses of what this new body will be like in the gospels after he arose from the dead. He could travel instantly from place to place. He walked through solid walls and appeared to them. He could cloak himself from their perception and be undetected. "My brethren, it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he does appear, we shall be like him" (I John 3:2)

4. Pentecost ( Feast of Weeks )
Israel was to count seven weeks from Firstfruits and this fifty days would culminate in the Feast of Weeks, or Pentecost. It was at that point that God rained down manna from heaven on them.
For Christians The book of Acts' chapters 1 and 2,
shows us the fulfillment of this promise when the Apostles and disciples were gathered together
praising and thanking God and God rained down on them the Holy Ghost just as Jesus had promised.
It also pictures the Tower of Babel, where their language was split into many different languages and babble, or confusion rained, whereas in that upper room thousands of years later, God rained down clarity in many different tongues, when many different languages were translated and interpreted
clearly and in a divine reversal of confusion, peace of mind and clear praise of God was spoken in every tongue.

These first four Feasts were all in the spring of the year. They have all been fulfilled in Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Savior of the world, in the "springtime" of Christianity. The remaining three Feasts take place in the autumn of the year and have yet to be fulfilled by that same Jesus.
5. The Feast of Trumpets ( Rosh Hashana ) means the "head of the year" and is found up in Numbers 29:1.
Many Christians believe that it represents the so called Rapture of the saints, as per I Cor. 15:52, Matthew 25, Matt. 24:31, II Thess., and Rev. 4:1-2
".. in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye at the last trumpet".
6. Atonement ( Yom Kippur ) Num.29:7
Exactly ten days after Trumpets comes the Feast of Atonement. Many Christians believe that this represents the repentance of Israel in which they shall "look upon him whom they pierced" (Zech. 10 ), -possibly because all the true Christians have been taken up to heaven and they realize at that point that we weren't a bunch of deluded fools after all. More importantly and accurately, God himself will take the vail off from their eyes which has been in place for two thousand years. But of course Christians might very well have a certain vail over their eyes as well. Witness the fact that these seven feasts seem to be almost unheard of by a people who claim to believe the Bible in it's entirety...?
References to this feast are found in Mat. 24, Rev, Daniel, Ezekiel, Joel and Zechariah among others.
7. Tabernacles ( Feast of Ingathering, Succoth, Booths )
These last three Feasts are called the Days of Awe, by the Jews. They are also known as High Holy Days, as indeed they are, in God's eyes. The New Testament fulfillment of Isaiah 11 is here. "The lion will lay down with the lamb and eat straw like an ox. There is so much more to each and every Feast
that I have either left out or am not even aware of myself. Gods word is like the ocean. I may know some things and even be aware of some of the unseen parts, but I have barely scratched the surface of what there is to know.
Very important to remember is the fact that these feasts were very much like the weekly sabbaths in that there was to be no servile work done. But these were not fasts. The food was simply prepared the day before. They are not intended to be a burden but a blessing. God is so very good.
The point of this comment is NOT that Christians need to go back under the yoke of the Law of Moses. That was never the point, as Paul the Apostle spelled out so many times over and over.
Please don't think that. There is no Temple in Jerusalem even if we wanted to.
Jesus is our High Priest.
But I believe that we Christians are largly unaware of just how much we are being forgiven of.
Our righteousness is as filthy rags to God.
Our only reasonable attitude must be gratitude and humility.
By observing the weekly sabbath and yearly feasts we can draw closer to him and receive great blessings which we won't even have room enough to receive.

Dorthy, I understand you have done stuff in the past. My point is that you have let something distract you. That something is labeling "Joyce" as a threat and engaging in attack and defend. It is not a matter of communicating perspective, it becomes a matter of tearing down. Here is the deal, Joyce is not going to change and not likely to go away. So you going to let her existence detract you from what you may be led to do? And Dorothy I welcome your prayers.
The ultimate point is are each of us to be about our own agendas, ideas, and thoughts regarding people or are we to be following God and walking in surrender to the will of YHVH?
Roma- Really wish you would stop with the critical engagement. You have a different perspective on Bjorn and that is fine. It seems you take what happened with Bjorn to be "reinforcement" of your assessment of things you have concluded. Pursue Bjorn for the sake of the gospel but in that pursuit be careful. Whatever happened with Herb and his turning to Jesus, it is clear by his own hand that he has not renounced or turn fully from the past at a minimum. Again, each of us need to follow what God leads in the matter.
It seems to me that Bjorn upon turning to Jesus at a minimum was thrust into being a source of things he knew and used the skills he has to continue following the things in darkness, all while not having at some level sound discipleship. At the worst case, he was someone who served the enemy. Only God and he know the truth on the matter, all we can examine are the fruits. And Roma as quick you are to urge compassion for Bjorn, I urge you that even if everything was handled wrongly, to turn the same compassion on those that are working to do what God called them to do.
Again, let us not turn to devour one another. Each of us should measure our words carefully. Each of us should be submitting to YHVH and Yeshua on an ongoing basis and look to treat one another in love and truth. Love without truth simply enables. Truth without love can destroy. You need to balance of both.
I have been watching what has unfolded here over the last couple days, reserving any comment I might have until I could make a little more sense of things. I am saddened greatly by what has happened with Bjorn. Only the Lord and Bjorn know his heart, so for that I have no judgement as it stands to his intentions. I do pray that this was simply an old demon that found its way back into his life, and that this experience will draw him back to our Father. We all have fallen short of glory, so I will leave the rest between Bjorn and the Lord.
That being said, I am left wondering what we are being distracted from seeing? With the Jackson death and circus that followed, I had thought this would be a grand distractionary tactic to sneak something by. After seeing the spirit of dissension that has overtaken this forum, I am certain this is what is happening. I will be praying for Bjorn, as well as all that are here. Beyond that I am searching for what is being hidden from us.
In terms of the Michael Jackson tributes, not having watched it I have heard that "universalism" and the new spirituality was at center stage. It is being used to serve an agenda.
When one quotes the Bible, they should at least know it.
Be very careful. When your eyes are focused on the sins of others and the the world, that you don`t stumble yourself. When I `m not careful and watching where I`m setting my feet, I am quick to stumble and fall.

I can understand the lack of love and compassion on this board from the majority, but Christians are called to die to themselves, and reflect the light of Christ to the world. In truth and in love.
We are to LOVE EVEN OUR ENEMIES. We are not called to add to the sins of someone who has been exposed doing wrong, by insinuations and outright lies against them.

I am sick and tired of "Christians" saying or implying we should not judge. How do you know what evil is if we don't.
If we are to be Christ like then remember He was a harsh judge and called sinners vipers etc. and was in a rage turning over tables in the Temple. Our lack of outrage against sin has put us where we are today.
What is it about "judging" you don't understand. What is it about calling a spade a spade you don't understand?
Christians used to be tough, we have let Satan turn us into wimps with wimpy little pointy fingers rather than pushing sin back into the darkness in God's strength.

P.S. Judging was meant to mean we are not to gossip or cause harm, not that we were not to discern right from wrong, or to be quiet and nice while while our face was being walked over.
God is a God of JUDGEMENT and we are to be like Him judging right from wrong and making things right by standing up to evil no matter where it is!

I support you 100% in the difficult decision you made, and actions you took, in the Bjorn situation, for the exact reasons stated by Rich. Your affection for Bjorn over the years was always evident and none of this could have been done lightly.
Is Bjorn sincerely sorry? Who knows. We only know that he asked "forgiveness" only after he got caught.
In regard to Roma, I think you are being manipulated big time by someone who herself is filled with hatred and confusion. Her initial posts to this thread were level-headed, and ones which I supported. However, the posts became increasingly disturbed and disturbing. For example:
Well Constance you go ahead and handle yourself the way you see fit...I disagree wholeheartedly that the Roman Catholic Church is a true church of the true Jesus as our bible teaches. You however accedt that their worship of demons idols, and the dead and all those practices are ok.
Great go ahead with that. I will tell everyone that I ever recmmended this site to, to stay away.
I would ask you to seriously consider whether you want someone posting at your blog who claims Catholics worship demons and dead people.
I would also point out that Roma's MO is one of "do as I say not as I do," since she on the one hand tells people to steer clear of your blog, yet on the other hand subsequently comes here repeatedly herself in order to vent her spleen.
Roma strikes me as a distrubed person who needs our prayers. The fact that she needs our prayers however does not mean she should be allowed to post more disturbed rants at this blog.
It looks as if most everyone likes speculation better than doing the actual work of research. Has anyone here put the name Bjorn Frieberg into an any language Google search after I posted that lead? It sure doesn't look like it. How can anyone know what is going on without doing the necessary work?

I also agree with JD, there is much happening in the world that we need to be aware of, with the immediate future. Distractions, valid and not-so worthy, are coming at us a mile-a-minute...discernment is really needed.
