There seems to be endless speculation on who's the antichrist being vocalised on the blog. People would do well to remember that in the last hundred years we have had many pop up as having a antichrist spirit (not the final Antichrist). Maybe a historical list of them could be of value. Anyway with Hitler being one of the most standouts for his antisemtic messages etc. Up until now non german speaking people haven't heard the way in which he articulated his messages as a politician and dictator. Heres a speech by Adolf Hitler before WW2 that has his voice converted into English by AI. I think it gives insight to the discerning on the manner and nature of how he manipulated people. We in the English speaking West by inlarge hadnt perceived the heavy political side of the ranting because we don't speak the language. I was in Berlin when Obama gave his speech. People were weeping, and even fainting. I don't believe Hitler had an edge on Obama for being able to entrance his audience. Everyplace I traveled in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa that summer, were mad crazy about Obama.

According to New Apostolic thinking, mankind lost its dominion over earth as part of the fall of Adam. So Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross not only resolved our sin debt, but it empowered mankind—specifically, Christians—to retake control of the earth. The New Apostolic Reformation sees seven areas in which believers are supposedly empowered and expected to dominate: government, arts, finances, education, religion, family, and media. Of these, the New Apostolic Reformation sees government as the most important because of its ability to influence all of the other facets of life. As a result, the New Apostolic Reformation overtly encourages Christian control over politics, culture, and business. In some ways, this is nothing unusual, as people should be expected to vote and lobby according to their convictions. The New Apostolic Reformation, however, is often accused of pushing for outright theocracy.
Spiritual warfare, according to the New Apostolic Reformation, is meant to resolve worldly concerns. For example, economic troubles or health problems in a particular city are seen as the result of a demonic spirit’s influence. Prayer, research into the specific name of that demon, and other spiritual disciplines are then applied in an effort to combat this presence. This is necessary not only for the health of the region, but also because the church cannot take “dominion” over that area until the demonic control has been lifted.
Biblically, there are major problems with the New Apostolic Reformation. Claiming that Christians have access to certain spiritual gifts is one thing, but their distinctive approach to the role of apostles and prophets is a stretch from what is found in the Bible. More to the point, the office of apostle requires traits that are impossible today. For example, true apostles must be personal eyewitnesses of the risen Christ (1 Corinthians 9:1; 15:7–8), specifically designated as apostles by Jesus (Galatians 1:1; Acts 1:2; Luke 6:13), and already verified by miraculous signs (Matthew 10:1; 2 Corinthians 12:2; Acts 5:12).
The idea of new revelations from God, especially those that come in the form of vague, easily reinterpreted mysteries, runs counter to the idea of a faith delivered “once for all” to mankind (Jude 1:3). The fact that New Apostolic Reformation prophecies frequently turn out to be false suggests a false spirit behind those predictions (Deuteronomy 18:22). The tendency of the New Apostolic Reformation to treat spiritual warfare as a type of Christianized voodoo is not only unbiblical, but dangerous.
Likewise, the emphasis on an earthly kingdom contradicts Jesus’ own declaration that the Kingdom of God was spiritual, not political (John 18:36). It places an unhealthy emphasis on political and worldly approval, rather than Christlike influence.

WATCH TIL THE END - As many of us know, a couple of weeks back Donald Trump received an award from the Israel Heritage Foundation in appreciation of his efforts to forge normalization agreements between the Jewish state and four Arab nations under the Abraham Accords.
The award, a menorah, was presented to the former president at Mar-a-Lago on February 26 and the following inscription was on the plaque at the menorah’s base:
“This menorah, which represents the eternal light of the world, is presented to President Donald J. Trump in honor and celebration of doing what no other man has ever done and that is to make peace between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan in the extraordinary Abraham Accords.”
According to Rabbi Katz, one of the presenters of the award, President Trump “was very happy to see everybody; he was in a very good mood.” Katz added: “The President was very excited to see us. He remembered me from July, when we gave him the crown of Jerusalem for moving the embassy to Jerusalem.” In case you don’t remember, last July the Israel Heritage Foundation presented Trump with the Crown of Jerusalem award, which was a silver Torah crown contained in a glass box.
An inscription quoted Psalm 136:1 and noted Trump’s “extraordinary and heroic efforts to help the State of Israel and the Jewish People.”
Once again we see that many Jews continue to view Donald Trump as the man who will finally bring peace to the Middle East. But more than that, some view Trump as possibly even being Mashiach ben Yosef, one of the two redeemers in Jewish tradition.
Mashiach ben Yosef will be a political and military leader who will wage war against the forces of evil that oppose Israel. He will also be involved in the building of the third temple. More and more, there are those who are looking at Donald Trump as the one who will build the third temple. From a Christian perspective, it’s all rather coincidental that the man who perfectly matches how the Bible describes the Antichrist, also just happens to be a builder, and also just happens to be the one that many Jews think will BUILD that temple.
Pay special attention to the bottom of the inscription: “The Israel Heritage Foundation with profound gratitude presents this Covenant of Peace Award to the Prince of Peace, Donald J. Trump.”

Of course, there was no protest from Trump when being presented with the 'Covenant of Peace' award. There was no rebuttal from him regarding him being called the 'Prince of Peace', nor the prophecies in Isaiah 9 (that refer to Jesus Christ alone) being attributed to Trump on the aforementioned award's plaque. No, instead Trump beams with delight, accepting all the blasphemous words given him by his idolators presenting the award to him.

In this series, I want to take readers beyond the textbook What is the New Apostolic Reformation Movement explanation, into the personal experiences from those who have been there, and what happened when God opened their eyes to the truth.
This is Katie’s story in her own words:
I grew up in a Christian household, where my mum loved Jesus (and still does) very much. She told me about Him and how He died to save me, and I gave my heart to Him when I was 4 or 5. As a family we attended a good sound church, but the church ended up falling apart due to the pastor disagreeing with some new teaching the bigger churches were introducing. The church we attended was under the banner of Acts Churches (in New Zealand), and they have since been heavily influenced by NAR and seeker-driven teachings.
"By their fruits you shall know them". Saying your a Christian doesn't make you one. The Lord says "unless a man be born again he shall by no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven". You can complement Christianity ,act religious even attend church but have you repented of your sin and turned to Jesus as both "Lord" and "Saviour" and now displaying the fruit of that change that "old things have pasted away and all things become new". Do the political leader's spoken about past that measure whom profess to be Christian. For that matter how about everyone else who professes to be Christian. There will be those whom go before the Lord saying we did this and that in your name and He will say " get away from me I never knew you ... you workers of inequity". God will not be mocked. Keeping Him central is everything.
Certainly is here are just a few scriptures that caution against concentrating on the devil or evil works:
Ephesians 6:12 (NIV): "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." This verse emphasizes the spiritual battle Christians face but does not encourage dwelling excessively on the devil or evil.
James 4:7 (NIV): "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." This verse encourages believers to focus on submitting to God and resisting the devil, rather than fixating on the devil's works.
Philippians 4:8 (NIV): "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." This verse advises believers to focus their thoughts on positive and virtuous things, rather than dwelling on evil.
These scriptures remind believers to keep their focus on God and what is good rather than becoming preoccupied with the works of the devil or evil.

The New Apostolic Reformation and the making of cult leader Brian Tamaki and the Destiny cult.
In this article, we take a look at cult leader ‘Apostle’ Brian Tamaki (aka ‘Lord of the Rings’ – because he has men in his church swear their allegiance to him by wearing rings inscribed with Tamaki’s name), and his Destiny ‘cult’. We examine both his connection to the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) and how he was given power and authority within the NAR.
There is a very good reason why other Apostles lik Brian Houston, Phil Pringle, Paul De Jong, Peter Mortlock and others don’t rebuke Brian Tamaki and warn members attending the Destiny cult. They are all part of Wagner’s NAR.
BRIAN TAMAKI – THE CREATION OF AN NAR APOSTLE:
People wrongly assume that Brian Tamaki appointed himself as an apostle, however this is not true. Brian Tamaki was RECOGNISED, (just like Che Ahn, John Arnott, John Kilpatrick, Brian Houston, David Yonggi Cho, Phil Pringle, Kong Hee, Cindy Jacobs, Benny Hinn, etc.), as an Apostle of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR).
WHAT ARE WE DEALING WITH?
The New Apostolic Reformation began in 1948 through the ‘New Order of the Latter Rain’ (NOLR) cult. This movement attempted to ‘restore’ the church by establishing a ‘New Order’ of an end-times government of Apostles and Prophets, ruling the world by triggering a global spiritual revival/awakening thus ushering Jesus Christ’s return. They taught that man can become ‘gods’. Although they called this ‘Manifest Sons of God’, it has been repackaged repeatedly under many names.
Today, this ‘little gods’ doctrine has gone completely undetected under the name of ‘sonship’. Although the NOLR was condemned by the Pentecostal AOG in America, NOLR leaders and their Voice of Healing propaganda gagrag created prominent names in the Voice of Healing Movement (VHM) in the 1950s and mainstreamed its occultic ideas in their construction of the Charismatic Renewal Movement (CRM). The Shepherding Discipleship Movement (SDM) in the 70s played a major role in establishing the regime of governing Apostles and Prophets in churches across the world. At this time, C. Peter Wagner observed the rise of this new order of individuals who were supposedly operating under intense spiritual authority and coined the name the ‘New Apostolic Reformation’ – he then became its leader when he started to theologically defend its apostate practices.
With a group of his apostles, Wagner founded the International Coalition of Apostles (ICA) in 1999, (an organisation that recognized or ordained apostles around the world to bring ‘order’ and takeover/’change’ society for ‘god’ and to manifest little gods or Christ’s on earth).

Two names that stand out in the pdf are Eddie Long and Brian Tamaki. This is important because it demonstrates that Tamaki considered himself an apostle because he was accepted or ordained as one through the NAR’s ICA organization. More importantly (and this is how the NAR really work), it took another NARpostle from Wagner’s ICA to come to Destiny church to prophesy that Tamaki would apostolically rule New Zealand. (Chris Rosebrough reviewed this prophecy below.)
While not saying directly he would rule as an ‘apostle’, this concept is not lost on NARpostles and their followers when you examine the language Eddie Long used.
“[God] made a declaration that in five years you shall be ruling and reigning in this nation. That means you control the wealth, that means you control the riches, that means you control the politics, that means you control the social order, that means that you are in charge. Touch your neighbor and say, ‘It happens because of order‘.”
This is classic NAR theology which you will hear NARpostles like C. Peter Wagner espouse.
Eddie Long was declaring that God himself is fulfilling through Tamaki, (what is known in the NAR as the Dominion Mandate), the Seven Mountain Mandate and the Great End-Time Wealth Transferal. Furthermore in the articles and documents below, Tamaki is recognized as an apostle by receiving special revelation and visions from God and being called ‘spiritual father’ who has ‘spiritual sons’. This is more classic NAR language and doctrine that reinforces his ‘apostleship’ over his congregants.

Well, I would like to meet Liz Cheney -- unfortunately I have not, but I deeply admire her courageous stands. She is a MUCH BETTER PERSON TO EMULATE THAN YOUR 'GOD' DONALD J. TRUMP. You are emulating him by calling good "evil" and evil "good".
Nowhere in the Bible does it say to my knowledge that all the world will WORSHIP the Beast or that everybody will LOVE the antichrist. He will be operating by fear for the most part. If you have scripture that says everybody will WORSHIP the Beast, please share it here. We have only 9 months to go until Trump will probably return to power. When that happens, things will become very UGLY for all of us. His promises of a dictatorship are very real -- as his niece Mary has often said, "take him seriously." She knows him well!

You need to spend more time in the Word on the subject as several scriptures refer to the concept of the world worshiping the beast or the antichrist. Here are a few:
Revelation 13:4: "People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, 'Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?'"
Revelation 13:8: "All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world."
Revelation 14:9: "A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: 'If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand,'"
Be ye not hearers of the word but doers also lest you decieve yourself.
Revelation 13:12: "It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed."
GrantNZ, Oops someone will be working overtime now to try and challenge the scripture. "All inhabitants of the earth" apart from those who have their names in the book of life" pretty much settles it. Jesus quoted the scripture in reply to the devil so should we.

Destiny Church leader Brian Tamaki backs President Trump
Brian Tamaki revealed himself as a Trump supporter in a Facebook attack on Peter Dunne. Tamaki took to Facebook to blast United Future leader Peter Dunne, calling him a "rat" and a "pathetic specimen of a man", following Dunne posting an open letter to Donald Trump criticising the US President.

The Process Church of the Final Judgment was founded in the UK not in America. It was cooked up by a couple of ex-Scientologists and became a big tine part of the 'British Invasion' of the 1960s. For example the song Sympathy For The Devil drew it's inspiration from The Process Church (Mick Jagger was romantically involved with one of the founder. Terrible business. I think what Mel Gibson talks about that is going on in Hollywood sprang from this satanic cult.
Funnily the Process-ites popularized the Guy Fawkes Q goatee. Hmmm. Not a laughing matter

The Antichrist has NOT yet revealed himself. While Constance can research and GUESS his identity... she doesn't KNOW with absolute 100% certainty that Trump IS the 'antichrist'.
So, both YOU and CONSTANCE need to 'repent' of your slander against others here on this blog... in condemning us simply because we 'choose to agree to disagree' with HER!!!
No one is 'raging' against her... but, SHE is doing plenty of 'raging' against us.
The name “Azov Brigade” should be recognizable to anyone who follows the conflict in Ukraine. To Ukraine, it is a key military unit composed of motivated fighters who have resisted Russian aggression. To Russia, the Azov Brigade is a neo-Nazi terrorist formation. Both of these narratives contain elements of truth. Azov Battalion is an important part of Ukraine’s war effort, and it is a neo-Nazi formation that has committed numerous atrocities. The U.S.’s continuing military support for Ukraine despite its neo-Nazi problem and the whitewashing of the Azov by media outlets are fueling racism both in and outside of Ukraine.
The origins of the Azov Battalion lie in the 2014 Euromaidan Revolution, in which demonstrators overthrew the Ukrainian government. The revolutionaries were led by Andriy Parubiy, the founder of the neo-Nazi Social-National Party of Ukraine (renamed Svoboda). After the revolution, members of Svoboda were appointed to key government positions, including minister of defense, head of the general prosecutor’s office and deputy prime minister.
After Euromaidan, Russian-speaking territories in the eastern region of Donbas launched a rebellion against the far-right government in Kyiv. Volunteer militias, including the Azov Battalion (which was formed by the neo-Nazi Patriot of Ukraine party), arose to fight the rebels.
Between 2014 and 2022, as the war in Donbas dragged on, Ukraine’s far-right government continuously passed laws glorifying Nazi collaborators. In 2018, then-president Petro Poroshenko created a national holiday for Stepan Bandera, a Nazi collaborator whose soldiers murdered up to 100,000 people during the Holocaust. Poroshenko even made it a criminal offense to denigrate Bandera’s organization, the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, and a government-funded museum opened an exhibit in their honor.
Unsurprisingly, Azov only grew. Between 2014 and 2022, Azov trained neo-Nazi terrorists and even recruited Brazilian fascists to fight in Ukraine. They were banned from Facebook for racist and antisemitic content (they titled one page “Gas Chambers”). Yet, they were described by Poroshenko as “our best warriors,” and Vadim Troyan, a veteran of the Azov Battalion and Patriot of Ukraine, was appointed to be deputy minister of the interior, putting a neo-Nazi in charge of Ukraine’s National Police.
When Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Azov gained more prominence. The unit garnered praise from the Ukrainian government and was further integrated into the Ukrainian military, being expanded from a regiment into a brigade. Some media outlets changed the way they describe Azov; German state-owned media outlet Deutsche Welle, which once described Azov as a neo-Nazi regiment, soon began labeling allegations of neo-Nazism as Russian propaganda. The BBC followed a similar line, moving from investigating Azov’s neo-Nazi ideology in depth to downplaying Azov’s neo-Nazism.
Azov has not been “de-Nazified” after it was further integrated into the Ukrainian military in 2022, as Azov and some media outlets claim. Much of Azov’s leadership has been in the group since 2014 and has demonstrated neo-Nazi ties. Azov’s press officer and the head of Azov’s military school run social media accounts adorned with neo-Nazi symbolism. Azov’s logo even contains the Wolfsangel, a neo-Nazi symbol. Not only is Azov a neo-Nazi military unit, but Western media outlets are complicit in whitewashing that fact, commiting journalistic malpractice of the highest order.
As Lev Golkin discussed in one article, Azov has a symbiotic relationship with Putin. Azov’s existence allows Putin to justify his illegal invasion by claiming he is “de-Nazifying” Ukraine. Putin’s rhetoric allows Azov to further justify its existence to Western countries based on its opposition to Putin, and receive more support from the Ukrainian government. This gives Putin even more rhetorical weight to justify his invasion of Ukraine, and so the cycle continues.
The losers of this dynamic are sure to be Ukrainian Jews and Roma people. In 2017, according to one report, Ukraine had more incidents of antisemitism than all other post-Soviet countries combined. In 2018, Nazi groups and police marched door to door, terrorizing Roma people. Among the groups marching was C14, a neo-Nazi organization which has in the past received funding from the Ukrainian government.
Additionally, the presence of neo-Nazi ideology in the Ukrainian government goes beyond Azov and similar gangs. Ukraine’s parliament recently quoted Stepan Bandera in a statement. Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense posted a picture of a Ukrainian soldier wearing a patch with neo-Nazi symbols before deleting it after outcry. A Ukrainian general was filmed threatening to destroy Jews.
By integrating Azov into its armed forces and outlawing the denigration of Holocaust perpetrators, the Ukrainian government has shown it is willing to tolerate neo-Nazi extremism, which directly threatens Ukrainian Jews and Roma people. But when the candidate continued calling out questions, Luxon shut the presser down and restarted it elsewhere where he could talk freely.
Prime Minister Chris Hipkins condemned the interruption as an “anti-democratic” stunt that aimed to grab publicity by drowning out the “voice of others” and giving the public less chance to hear from politicians ahead of the election.
But Tamaki told church followers during a recent sermon that Freedoms NZ was exercising its “right to protest and speak publicly”.
He said he’s “had insight from the spirit world” for his campaign and now tipped more of his party members will “pop up” unannounced.
“This could spread right across, down the south and everywhere,” Tamaki said, before referencing Act leader Seymour.
“You’re next David, you’re another one that hides the truth.”

First of all, both “Brother” Paul and “Brother” James Key deem themselves Bible teachers, specifically in the realm of Prophecy. The former even recently changed his YouTube channel name from Antichrist 45 to Bible Prophecy with Brother Paul. I shall remind everyone here of the Apostle James’ Scriptural warning (NKJV):
James 3:1 My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. 2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. 3 Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. 4 Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things.
Given Constance’s high appraisal of the works of these two (and others), this admonition applies to her, as well.
Of more concern is that both “Brother” Paul and “Brother” James Key make BOLD and SPECIFIC prophetic claims about the future. Should any of these fail to pass, the proclaimers would be immediately deemed false prophets.

Examining further filth said by those ministers of the Devil, those blasphemers, liars, murderers and thieves at the helm of Mystery Babylon, the Mother of All Harlots, which is the false church, we see how they shall eventually murder true, born-again, Christians (obedient to the commands of God the Father, through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, guided by the Holy Spirit).
I suspect, due to the rabidly ungodly way that false church speaks, they will first murder homosexuals, people who have had abortions (i.e., murdered the unborn child), and other undesirables, before turning on the True Church and murdering them also.

Now, of course, prophecies are of those things to come, yet just because the watchman sees the danger coming, does not necessarily mean he is, biblically speaking, a prophet because of his report.
Consequent to your argument, do you see the Antichrist, Donald J. Trump as a prophet for saying, “That’s going to be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country, that’s going to be the least of it...” ?
Heretics will invent a different god and gospel. The Bible warns that these false teachers will teach things opposed to sound doctrine which will "tickle the ears," or satisfy man's carnal desires, and "turn (them) aside to myths," (2 Timothy 4:3-4).
Watchman Fellowship frequently receives requests to expose certain teachers who may be teaching poor and harmful doctrine. We may sympathize, but must decline if we feel they are right on the essentials. But occasionally through our research we find people who may be well known and influential, yet definitely fall into the category of false teachers.
One of these is Norman Vincent Peale, publisher of Guidepost magazine and writer of many books including the best selling Power of Positive Thinking. Our conclusion after much research is that Norman Vincent Peale is a universalist, that is, he believes that everyone is going to heaven if they believe in a god, and have some redeeming value, which is just about everyone. This is evidenced by several situations documented in Peale's life.
On March 28, 1980, Dr. Peale was the featured speaker at an 85th birthday dinner honoring Mormonprophet speaker Spencer W. Kimball. The official Mormon newspaper reported that Brigham Young University bestowed an honorary degree on Dr. Peale (Church News, February 9, 1980, p. 11).
Included on the same page was a transcription of a radio address Peale made on April 27, 1975, when Dr. Peale "received a blessing" from Prophet Kimball. In this radio address Peale said that he had been struggling with a difficulty for several weeks. While speaking in Salt Lake City he was invited "to be received by the President of the Church." After lauding the "righteous" Mormon church, Peale said, "I met with these men of God... these three dedicated Christian leaders (Mormon first presidency) I felt he [Kimball] was so spiritual." Peale then related how the three leaders laid hands on him and prayed. Peale stated "Sir, He is here, I feel His presence," (emphasis mine).
Dave Hunt in The Seduction of Christianity documents on Page 152 that Peale was the guest on The Phil Donahue Show and "denied the necessity to be born again," (Transcript, October 23, 1984). Also Peale called the virgin birth `some theological idea' of no importance to salvation (Family Weekly, April 15, 1984, Cover Story).
In Guideposts one regularly finds cover stories and articles by people who do not profess Christianity, but relate how they overcame difficulties through some dependence of God. He has featured Ed Asner,New Age leaning Martin Sheen and Dr. George Ritchie as well as Mormon Dale Murphy. Peale is also a 33rd degree Mason (Christian Information Bureau Bulletin, December 1986). According to Dave Hunt's bulletin Peale wrote in the Masonic Magazine, New Age, concerning his involvement, "Men of different religions meet in fellowship and brotherhood under the fatherhood of God." Peale also demonstrates that he is much more in alignment with the New Age Movement and its accompanying belief categories, than he is in Christianity.
Peale first became suspect when he consistently began endorsing New Age/Occultic writers. The following are several examples. In Dr. Bernie Siegel's book, Love, Medicine, and Miracles, Peale writes, "In these pages is found a precious secret, that of health and well being" (inside cover). In the book Siegel describes how he got his message and insights through guided meditation and an inner spirit guide (p. 18-20).
Siegel also promotes meditation, hypnosis, and guided visualization with eastern/Occultic presuppositions based on "cosmic-at-oneness and enlightenment," Yoga and Kundalini, and Silva Mind Control (pgs. 147-152).
Siegel also teaches that through continuous "spiritual consciousness" death no longer exists and that he has "received many messages from those who have died," (p. 220). Siegel concludes with instructions on how to meditate and visualize cosmic-at-oneness energy healing you. He also lists a whole spate of New Age writers and books for suggested reading (pp. 227-239).
Peale also endorses the writer Eric Butterworth who is one of the chief leaders and writers for Unity School of Christianity. Butterworth, in his writings, clearly teaches New Age/Occultic world views. Peale writes of Eric Butterworth "Thought-motivating and spiritually rewarding," (?Life is for Lovingo, noted on cover of How to Break the Ten Commandments, Eric Butterworth).
Found on the cover of the book The Game of Life by metaphysician Florence Shinn, is Peale's endorsement, "By studying and practicing the principles laid down in this book, one may find prosperity, solve problems, have better health, achieve good personal relations - in a word win the game of life. The Game of Life is filled with wisdom and creative insights. That its teachings will work I know to be a fact, for I've long used them myself."
What are these teachings? "Jesus Christ knew in reality, there is no evil There is an old legend that Adam and Eve ate of `Maya the Tree of Illusion' Therefore evil is a false law man has made for himself... has been hypnotized by the race belief (of sin, sickness, and death) which is carnal or mortal thought," (p. 30.)
" Jesus Christ brought the good news (the gospel) that there was a higher law than the law of Karma. The world thought is that of sin, sickness and death. He saw their absolute unreality. We know now from a scientific standpoint, that death could be overcome by stamping the subconscious mind with the conviction of eternal youth and eternal life. Working under the direction of the superconscious, (theChrist or God within man) the `resurrection of the body' would be accomplished," (pp. 46-47).
On Page 83 the author teaches the law of reincarnation. Are these isolated incidents? No, the pattern continues.
Peale endorses the book The Jesus Letters by Jane Palzere and Anna Brown. He writes "What a wonderful gift to all of us from you is your book. You will bless many by this truly inspired book," (emphasis mine).
How is it inspired? According to the advertisement, "a book communicated through a process known as inspirational writing (automatic writing). Self identified as Jesus."
Some quotes are given from the book, "God does not see evil. He sees only souls at different levels of awareness. It matters little if these writings come from the Jesus of Nazareth or Jesus of Jane, they are all the same consciousness and that consciousness is God. I am part of God, and Jane and Anna are part of that same God."
When one examines many of the self-help, New Age, Occult books, references and quotes from Norman Vincent Peale frequently occur. For instance, in The Magic Power of Your Mind by Natter Germain, Peale is referenced four times in harmony with the books stated purpose: "[It] shows how you can harness ESP, hypnotism, telepathy, clairvoyance and auto-suggestion to achieve health, wealth and happiness beyond your dreams."
In Steve Richard's book Levitation, he suggests using the technique of "suggestions articulation" found inPower of Positive Thinking to induce meditation which can be used to transcend gravity. (p. 63).
Peale is listed in the bibliography of Helping Yourself with Self-Hypnosis by Caprio and Berger, along with a whole spate of New Age and Occultic authors. Peale also wrote the introduction and endorsement of The Stress Strategists by "national psychic and professional numerologist" Kathy Bury. Ms. Bury stated on the telephone that she did Dr. Peale's numerology chart (similar conceptually toastrology) at his request.
This is not merely guilt by association. Dr. Peale himself credits his theology of positive thinking to Ernest Holmes, founder of New Age/Occultic Church of Religious Science (Ernest Holmes, The First Religious Scientist, James Reid, p. 14). In fact, Peale borrowed the phrase "positive thinking" from Charles Fillmore, founder of the New Age Unity School of Christianity (Positive Imaging, p. 77). Charles Braden documents Peale's evolvement into his New Age synthesis in his book Spirits in Rebellion: The Rise and Development of New Thought.
Braden, in his research wrote, "I once wrote him (Peale) saying that I had read his books and articles and in doing so had had the feeling that I was reading New Thought. Had he indeed heard their leaders, read their books, and consciously or unconsciously been influenced by them?" (p. 388).
Peale's answer came by way of a personal call to Braden. Peale stated that "he had read them all and had found invaluable elements in them," (Ibid). Peale referred Braden to The Tough-Minded Optimistfor his background. In chapter two of that book, Peale expressed dissatisfaction with both his liberal seminary education and with fundamentalism. He began to read "spiritual literature" from Unity, Religious Science, Science of Mind, Christian Science, and from various other "metaphysical teachers" (Spirits in Rebellion, p. 389).
Peale made a most significant admission when he related that he almost resigned from his pastorate when his teachings came under heavy criticism from fellow clergymen. He indicated that his father, also a Methodist minister, persuaded him to continue by saying, "You have evolved a new Christianemphasis out of a composite of Science of Mind, metaphysics, Christian Science, medical and psychological practice, Baptist Evangelism, Methodist witnessing, and solid Dutch Reformed Calvinism," (Ibid, p.3 91).
Dr. Peale's father was correct about the New Age identification, but apparently did not understand Reformed theology or orthodoxy very well. When one reads Norman Vincent Peale, it is obvious that he never tells anyone that they must come to repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ before they can become a child of God, born again and indwelt by His Spirit. First of all... Since these refugees are coming from 125 DIFFERENT countries, no one should be calling them "Mexican refugees".

These people have been empowered to receive “new” revelations from God that will aid the church in establishing dominion. According to the New Apostolic Reformation, only prophets, and occasionally apostles, can obtain new revelations. Evangelists, pastors, and teachers cannot. The prophets’ new revelations are crucial to overcoming the world, and the success of the church depends on the apostles following through on the information prophets provide. Most of their prophecies are extremely vague and easy to re-interpret, and the New Apostolic Reformation is willing to modify them, since they set no standard of infallibility for themselves.
According to New Apostolic thinking, mankind lost its dominion over earth as part of the fall of Adam. So Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross not only resolved our sin debt, but it empowered mankind—specifically, Christians—to retake control of the earth. The New Apostolic Reformation sees seven areas in which believers are supposedly empowered and expected to dominate: government, arts, finances, education, religion, family, and media. Of these, the New Apostolic Reformation sees government as the most important because of its ability to influence all of the other facets of life. As a result, the New Apostolic Reformation overtly encourages Christian control over politics, culture, and business. In some ways, this is nothing unusual, as people should be expected to vote and lobby according to their convictions. The New Apostolic Reformation, however, is often accused of pushing for outright theocracy.
Spiritual warfare, according to the New Apostolic Reformation, is meant to resolve worldly concerns. For example, economic troubles or health problems in a particular city are seen as the result of a demonic spirit’s influence. Prayer, research into the specific name of that demon, and other spiritual disciplines are then applied in an effort to combat this presence. This is necessary not only for the health of the region, but also because the church cannot take “dominion” over that area until the demonic control has been lifted.
Biblically, there are major problems with the New Apostolic Reformation. Claiming that Christians have access to certain spiritual gifts is one thing, but their distinctive approach to the role of apostles and prophets is a stretch from what is found in the Bible. More to the point, the office of apostle requires traits that are impossible today. For example, true apostles must be personal eyewitnesses of the risen Christ (1 Corinthians 9:1; 15:7–8), specifically designated as apostles by Jesus (Galatians 1:1; Acts 1:2; Luke 6:13), and already verified by miraculous signs (Matthew 10:1; 2 Corinthians 12:2; Acts 5:12).
The idea of new revelations from God, especially those that come in the form of vague, easily reinterpreted mysteries, runs counter to the idea of a faith delivered “once for all” to mankind (Jude 1:3). The fact that New Apostolic Reformation prophecies frequently turn out to be false suggests a false spirit behind those predictions (Deuteronomy 18:22). The tendency of the New Apostolic Reformation to treat spiritual warfare as a type of Christianized voodoo is not only unbiblical, but dangerous.
Likewise, the emphasis on an earthly kingdom contradicts Jesus’ own declaration that the Kingdom of God was spiritual, not political (John 18:36). It places an unhealthy emphasis on political and worldly approval, rather than Christlike influence.

WATCH TIL THE END - As many of us know, a couple of weeks back Donald Trump received an award from the Israel Heritage Foundation in appreciation of his efforts to forge normalization agreements between the Jewish state and four Arab nations under the Abraham Accords.
The award, a menorah, was presented to the former president at Mar-a-Lago on February 26 and the following inscription was on the plaque at the menorah’s base:
“This menorah, which represents the eternal light of the world, is presented to President Donald J. Trump in honor and celebration of doing what no other man has ever done and that is to make peace between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan in the extraordinary Abraham Accords.”
According to Rabbi Katz, one of the presenters of the award, President Trump “was very happy to see everybody; he was in a very good mood.”
Katz added: “The President was very excited to see us. He remembered me from July, when we gave him the crown of Jerusalem for moving the embassy to Jerusalem.”
In case you don’t remember, last July the Israel Heritage Foundation presented Trump with the Crown of Jerusalem award, which was a silver Torah crown contained in a glass box.
An inscription quoted Psalm 136:1 and noted Trump’s “extraordinary and heroic efforts to help the State of Israel and the Jewish People.”
Once again we see that many Jews continue to view Donald Trump as the man who will finally bring peace to the Middle East. But more than that, some view Trump as possibly even being Mashiach ben Yosef, one of the two redeemers in Jewish tradition.
Mashiach ben Yosef will be a political and military leader who will wage war against the forces of evil that oppose Israel. He will also be involved in the building of the third temple. More and more, there are those who are looking at Donald Trump as the one who will build the third temple.
From a Christian perspective, it’s all rather coincidental that the man who perfectly matches how the Bible describes the Antichrist, also just happens to be a builder, and also just happens to be the one that many Jews think will BUILD that temple.
Pay special attention to the bottom of the inscription: “The Israel Heritage Foundation with profound gratitude presents this Covenant of Peace Award to the Prince of Peace, Donald J. Trump.”

Of course, there was no protest from Trump when being presented with the 'Covenant of Peace' award. There was no rebuttal from him regarding him being called the 'Prince of Peace', nor the prophecies in Isaiah 9 (that refer to Jesus Christ alone) being attributed to Trump on the aforementioned award's plaque. No, instead Trump beams with delight, accepting all the blasphemous words given him by his idolators presenting the award to him.

She has allowed me to share her story in a series about a fast-growing movement called the New Apostolic Reformation, or NAR for short. It is at its core an anti-biblical counterfeit that sounds almost like biblical Christianity.
In this series, I want to take readers beyond the textbook What is the New Apostolic Reformation Movement explanation, into the personal experiences from those who have been there, and what happened when God opened their eyes to the truth.

I grew up in a Christian household, where my mum loved Jesus (and still does) very much. She told me about Him and how He died to save me, and I gave my heart to Him when I was 4 or 5.
As a family we attended a good sound church, but the church ended up falling apart due to the pastor disagreeing with some new teaching the bigger churches were introducing. You can complement Christianity ,act religious even attend church but have you repented of your sin and turned to Jesus as both "Lord" and "Saviour" and now displaying the fruit of that change that "old things have pasted away and all things become new".

James 4:7 (NIV): "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." This verse encourages believers to focus on submitting to God and resisting the devil, rather than fixating on the devil's works.
Philippians 4:8 (NIV): "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." This verse advises believers to focus their thoughts on positive and virtuous things, rather than dwelling on evil.
These scriptures remind believers to keep their focus on God and what is good rather than becoming preoccupied with the works of the devil or evil.

The New Apostolic Reformation and the making of cult leader Brian Tamaki and the Destiny cult.
In this article, we take a look at cult leader ‘Apostle’ Brian Tamaki (aka ‘Lord of the Rings’ – because he has men in his church swear their allegiance to him by wearing rings inscribed with Tamaki’s name), and his Destiny ‘cult’. We examine both his connection to the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) and how he was given power and authority within the NAR.
There is a very good reason why other Apostles lik Brian Houston, Phil Pringle, Paul De Jong, Peter Mortlock and others don’t rebuke Brian Tamaki and warn members attending the Destiny cult. They are all part of Wagner’s NAR.
BRIAN TAMAKI – THE CREATION OF AN NAR APOSTLE:
People wrongly assume that Brian Tamaki appointed himself as an apostle, however this is not true. Brian Tamaki was RECOGNISED, (just like Che Ahn, John Arnott, John Kilpatrick, Brian Houston, David Yonggi Cho, Phil Pringle, Kong Hee, Cindy Jacobs, Benny Hinn, etc.), as an Apostle of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR).
WHAT ARE WE DEALING WITH?
The New Apostolic Reformation began in 1948 through the ‘New Order of the Latter Rain’ (NOLR) cult. This movement attempted to ‘restore’ the church by establishing a ‘New Order’ of an end-times government of Apostles and Prophets, ruling the world by triggering a global spiritual revival/awakening thus ushering Jesus Christ’s return. They taught that man can become ‘gods’. Although they called this ‘Manifest Sons of God’, it has been repackaged repeatedly under many names.
Today, this ‘little gods’ doctrine has gone completely undetected under the name of ‘sonship’. Although the NOLR was condemned by the Pentecostal AOG in America, NOLR leaders and their Voice of Healing propaganda gagrag created prominent names in the Voice of Healing Movement (VHM) in the 1950s and mainstreamed its occultic ideas in their construction of the Charismatic Renewal Movement (CRM). The Shepherding Discipleship Movement (SDM) in the 70s played a major role in establishing the regime of governing Apostles and Prophets in churches across the world. At this time, C. Peter Wagner observed the rise of this new order of individuals who were supposedly operating under intense spiritual authority and coined the name the ‘New Apostolic Reformation’ – he then became its leader when he started to theologically defend its apostate practices.
With a group of his apostles, Wagner founded the International Coalition of Apostles (ICA) in 1999, (an organisation that recognized or ordained apostles around the world to bring ‘order’ and takeover/’change’ society for ‘god’ and to manifest little gods or Christ’s on earth).

Two names that stand out in the pdf are Eddie Long and Brian Tamaki. This is important because it demonstrates that Tamaki considered himself an apostle because he was accepted or ordained as one through the NAR’s ICA organization. More importantly (and this is how the NAR really work), it took another NARpostle from Wagner’s ICA to come to Destiny church to prophesy that Tamaki would apostolically rule New Zealand. (Chris Rosebrough reviewed this prophecy below.)
While not saying directly he would rule as an ‘apostle’, this concept is not lost on NARpostles and their followers when you examine the language Eddie Long used.

Eddie Long was declaring that God himself is fulfilling through Tamaki, (what is known in the NAR as the Dominion Mandate), the Seven Mountain Mandate and the Great End-Time Wealth Transferal. Furthermore in the articles and documents below, Tamaki is recognized as an apostle by receiving special revelation and visions from God and being called ‘spiritual father’ who has ‘spiritual sons’. This is more classic NAR language and doctrine that reinforces his ‘apostleship’ over his congregants.

If you have scripture that says everybody will WORSHIP the Beast, please share it here. We have only 9 months to go until Trump will probably return to power. You need to spend more time in the Word on the subject as several scriptures refer to the concept of the world worshiping the beast or the antichrist. Here are a few:

The Process Church of the Final Judgment was founded in the UK not in America. It was cooked up by a couple of ex-Scientologists and became a big tine part of the 'British Invasion' of the 1960s. For example the song Sympathy For The Devil drew it's inspiration from The Process Church (Mick Jagger was romantically involved with one of the founder. Terrible business. The Dangers of Ignoring Ukraine's neo-Nazis
The name “Azov Brigade” should be recognizable to anyone who follows the conflict in Ukraine. To Ukraine, it is a key military unit composed of motivated fighters who have resisted Russian aggression. To Russia, the Azov Brigade is a neo-Nazi terrorist formation. Both of these narratives contain elements of truth. Azov Battalion is an important part of Ukraine’s war effort, and it is a neo-Nazi formation that has committed numerous atrocities. The U.S.’s continuing military support for Ukraine despite its neo-Nazi problem and the whitewashing of the Azov by media outlets are fueling racism both in and outside of Ukraine.
The origins of the Azov Battalion lie in the 2014 Euromaidan Revolution, in which demonstrators overthrew the Ukrainian government. The revolutionaries were led by Andriy Parubiy, the founder of the neo-Nazi Social-National Party of Ukraine (renamed Svoboda). After the revolution, members of Svoboda were appointed to key government positions, including minister of defense, head of the general prosecutor’s office and deputy prime minister.
After Euromaidan, Russian-speaking territories in the eastern region of Donbas launched a rebellion against the far-right government in Kyiv. Volunteer militias, including the Azov Battalion (which was formed by the neo-Nazi Patriot of Ukraine party), arose to fight the rebels.
Between 2014 and 2022, as the war in Donbas dragged on, Ukraine’s far-right government continuously passed laws glorifying Nazi collaborators. In 2018, then-president Petro Poroshenko created a national holiday for Stepan Bandera, a Nazi collaborator whose soldiers murdered up to 100,000 people during the Holocaust. Poroshenko even made it a criminal offense to denigrate Bandera’s organization, the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, and a government-funded museum opened an exhibit in their honor.
Unsurprisingly, Azov only grew. Between 2014 and 2022, Azov trained neo-Nazi terrorists and even recruited Brazilian fascists to fight in Ukraine. They were banned from Facebook for racist and antisemitic content (they titled one page “Gas Chambers”). Yet, they were described by Poroshenko as “our best warriors,” and Vadim Troyan, a veteran of the Azov Battalion and Patriot of Ukraine, was appointed to be deputy minister of the interior, putting a neo-Nazi in charge of Ukraine’s National Police.
When Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Azov gained more prominence. The unit garnered praise from the Ukrainian government and was further integrated into the Ukrainian military, being expanded from a regiment into a brigade. Some media outlets changed the way they describe Azov; German state-owned media outlet Deutsche Welle, which once described Azov as a neo-Nazi regiment, soon began labeling allegations of neo-Nazism as Russian propaganda. The BBC followed a similar line, moving from investigating Azov’s neo-Nazi ideology in depth to downplaying Azov’s neo-Nazism.
Azov has not been “de-Nazified” after it was further integrated into the Ukrainian military in 2022, as Azov and some media outlets claim. Much of Azov’s leadership has been in the group since 2014 and has demonstrated neo-Nazi ties. Azov’s press officer and the head of Azov’s military school run social media accounts adorned with neo-Nazi symbolism. Azov’s logo even contains the Wolfsangel, a neo-Nazi symbol. Not only is Azov a neo-Nazi military unit, but Western media outlets are complicit in whitewashing that fact, commiting journalistic malpractice of the highest order.

As Lev Golkin discussed in one article, Azov has a symbiotic relationship with Putin. Azov’s existence allows Putin to justify his illegal invasion by claiming he is “de-Nazifying” Ukraine. Putin’s rhetoric allows Azov to further justify its existence to Western countries based on its opposition to Putin, and receive more support from the Ukrainian government. This gives Putin even more rhetorical weight to justify his invasion of Ukraine, and so the cycle continues.
The losers of this dynamic are sure to be Ukrainian Jews and Roma people. In 2017, according to one report, Ukraine had more incidents of antisemitism than all other post-Soviet countries combined. In 2018, Nazi groups and police marched door to door, terrorizing Roma people. Among the groups marching was C14, a neo-Nazi organization which has in the past received funding from the Ukrainian government.
Additionally, the presence of neo-Nazi ideology in the Ukrainian government goes beyond Azov and similar gangs. Ukraine’s parliament recently quoted Stepan Bandera in a statement. Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense posted a picture of a Ukrainian soldier wearing a patch with neo-Nazi symbols before deleting it after outcry. A Ukrainian general was filmed threatening to destroy Jews.

First of all, both “Brother” Paul and “Brother” James Key deem themselves Bible teachers, specifically in the realm of Prophecy. The former even recently changed his YouTube channel name from Antichrist 45 to Bible Prophecy with Brother Paul. I shall remind everyone here of the Apostle James’ Scriptural warning (NKJV):

Heretics will invent a different god and gospel. The Bible warns that these false teachers will teach things opposed to sound doctrine which will "tickle the ears," or satisfy man's carnal desires, and "turn (them) aside to myths," (2 Timothy 4:3-4).
Watchman Fellowship frequently receives requests to expose certain teachers who may be teaching poor and harmful doctrine. We may sympathize, but must decline if we feel they are right on the essentials. But occasionally through our research we find people who may be well known and influential, yet definitely fall into the category of false teachers.
One of these is Norman Vincent Peale, publisher of Guidepost magazine and writer of many books including the best selling Power of Positive Thinking. Our conclusion after much research is that Norman Vincent Peale is a universalist, that is, he believes that everyone is going to heaven if they believe in a god, and have some redeeming value, which is just about everyone. This is evidenced by several situations documented in Peale's life.
On March 28, 1980, Dr. Peale was the featured speaker at an 85th birthday dinner honoring Mormonprophet speaker Spencer W. Kimball. The official Mormon newspaper reported that Brigham Young University bestowed an honorary degree on Dr. Peale (Church News, February 9, 1980, p. 11).
Included on the same page was a transcription of a radio address Peale made on April 27, 1975, when Dr. Peale "received a blessing" from Prophet Kimball. In this radio address Peale said that he had been struggling with a difficulty for several weeks. While speaking in Salt Lake City he was invited "to be received by the President of the Church." After lauding the "righteous" Mormon church, Peale said, "I met with these men of God... these three dedicated Christian leaders (Mormon first presidency) I felt he [Kimball] was so spiritual." Peale then related how the three leaders laid hands on him and prayed. Peale stated "Sir, He is here, I feel His presence," (emphasis mine).
Dave Hunt in The Seduction of Christianity documents on Page 152 that Peale was the guest on The Phil Donahue Show and "denied the necessity to be born again," (Transcript, October 23, 1984). Also Peale called the virgin birth `some theological idea' of no importance to salvation (Family Weekly, April 15, 1984, Cover Story).
In Guideposts one regularly finds cover stories and articles by people who do not profess Christianity, but relate how they overcame difficulties through some dependence of God. He has featured Ed Asner,New Age leaning Martin Sheen and Dr. George Ritchie as well as Mormon Dale Murphy. Peale is also a 33rd degree Mason (Christian Information Bureau Bulletin, December 1986). According to Dave Hunt's bulletin Peale wrote in the Masonic Magazine, New Age, concerning his involvement, "Men of different religions meet in fellowship and brotherhood under the fatherhood of God." Peale also demonstrates that he is much more in alignment with the New Age Movement and its accompanying belief categories, than he is in Christianity.

Peale first became suspect when he consistently began endorsing New Age/Occultic writers. The following are several examples. In Dr. Bernie Siegel's book, Love, Medicine, and Miracles, Peale writes, "In these pages is found a precious secret, that of health and well being" (inside cover). In the book Siegel describes how he got his message and insights through guided meditation and an inner spirit guide (p. 18-20).
Siegel also promotes meditation, hypnosis, and guided visualization with eastern/Occultic presuppositions based on "cosmic-at-oneness and enlightenment," Yoga and Kundalini, and Silva Mind Control (pgs. 147-152).
Siegel also teaches that through continuous "spiritual consciousness" death no longer exists and that he has "received many messages from those who have died," (p. 220). Siegel concludes with instructions on how to meditate and visualize cosmic-at-oneness energy healing you. He also lists a whole spate of New Age writers and books for suggested reading (pp. 227-239).
Peale also endorses the writer Eric Butterworth who is one of the chief leaders and writers for Unity School of Christianity. Butterworth, in his writings, clearly teaches New Age/Occultic world views. Peale writes of Eric Butterworth "Thought-motivating and spiritually rewarding," (?Life is for Lovingo, noted on cover of How to Break the Ten Commandments, Eric Butterworth).
Found on the cover of the book The Game of Life by metaphysician Florence Shinn, is Peale's endorsement, "By studying and practicing the principles laid down in this book, one may find prosperity, solve problems, have better health, achieve good personal relations - in a word win the game of life. The Game of Life is filled with wisdom and creative insights. That its teachings will work I know to be a fact, for I've long used them myself."
What are these teachings? "Jesus Christ knew in reality, there is no evil There is an old legend that Adam and Eve ate of `Maya the Tree of Illusion' Therefore evil is a false law man has made for himself... has been hypnotized by the race belief (of sin, sickness, and death) which is carnal or mortal thought," (p. 30.)
" Jesus Christ brought the good news (the gospel) that there was a higher law than the law of Karma. The world thought is that of sin, sickness and death. He saw their absolute unreality. We know now from a scientific standpoint, that death could be overcome by stamping the subconscious mind with the conviction of eternal youth and eternal life. Working under the direction of the superconscious, (theChrist or God within man) the `resurrection of the body' would be accomplished," (pp. 46-47).
On Page 83 the author teaches the law of reincarnation. Are these isolated incidents? No, the pattern continues.

Peale endorses the book The Jesus Letters by Jane Palzere and Anna Brown. He writes "What a wonderful gift to all of us from you is your book. You will bless many by this truly inspired book," (emphasis mine).
How is it inspired? According to the advertisement, "a book communicated through a process known as inspirational writing (automatic writing). Self identified as Jesus."
Some quotes are given from the book, "God does not see evil. He sees only souls at different levels of awareness. It matters little if these writings come from the Jesus of Nazareth or Jesus of Jane, they are all the same consciousness and that consciousness is God. I am part of God, and Jane and Anna are part of that same God."
When one examines many of the self-help, New Age, Occult books, references and quotes from Norman Vincent Peale frequently occur. For instance, in The Magic Power of Your Mind by Natter Germain, Peale is referenced four times in harmony with the books stated purpose: "[It] shows how you can harness ESP, hypnotism, telepathy, clairvoyance and auto-suggestion to achieve health, wealth and happiness beyond your dreams."
In Steve Richard's book Levitation, he suggests using the technique of "suggestions articulation" found inPower of Positive Thinking to induce meditation which can be used to transcend gravity. (p. 63).
Peale is listed in the bibliography of Helping Yourself with Self-Hypnosis by Caprio and Berger, along with a whole spate of New Age and Occultic authors. Peale also wrote the introduction and endorsement of The Stress Strategists by "national psychic and professional numerologist" Kathy Bury. Ms. Bury stated on the telephone that she did Dr. Peale's numerology chart (similar conceptually toastrology) at his request.
This is not merely guilt by association. Dr. Peale himself credits his theology of positive thinking to Ernest Holmes, founder of New Age/Occultic Church of Religious Science (Ernest Holmes, The First Religious Scientist, James Reid, p. 14). In fact, Peale borrowed the phrase "positive thinking" from Charles Fillmore, founder of the New Age Unity School of Christianity (Positive Imaging, p. 77). Charles Braden documents Peale's evolvement into his New Age synthesis in his book Spirits in Rebellion: The Rise and Development of New Thought.
Braden, in his research wrote, "I once wrote him (Peale) saying that I had read his books and articles and in doing so had had the feeling that I was reading New Thought. Had he indeed heard their leaders, read their books, and consciously or unconsciously been influenced by them?" (p. 388).

Peale's answer came by way of a personal call to Braden. Peale stated that "he had read them all and had found invaluable elements in them," (Ibid). Peale referred Braden to The Tough-Minded Optimistfor his background. In chapter two of that book, Peale expressed dissatisfaction with both his liberal seminary education and with fundamentalism. He began to read "spiritual literature" from Unity, Religious Science, Science of Mind, Christian Science, and from various other "metaphysical teachers" (Spirits in Rebellion, p. 389).
Peale made a most significant admission when he related that he almost resigned from his pastorate when his teachings came under heavy criticism from fellow clergymen. He indicated that his father, also a Methodist minister, persuaded him to continue by saying, "You have evolved a new Christianemphasis out of a composite of Science of Mind, metaphysics, Christian Science, medical and psychological practice, Baptist Evangelism, Methodist witnessing, and solid Dutch Reformed Calvinism," (Ibid, p.3 91).
Dr. Peale's father was correct about the New Age identification, but apparently did not understand Reformed theology or orthodoxy very well. When one reads Norman Vincent Peale, it is obvious that he never tells anyone that they must come to repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ before they can become a child of God, born again and indwelt by His Spirit. Instead the assumption is that everyone is already a child of God and can access the Power through using certain principles and techniques. The first words we find in Power of Positive Thinking is "Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities!" (p. 1; emphasis mine).
Peale consistently operates with New Age doctrine and practices, emphasizing the creative power of thought and that consciousness is true reality and aligning your consciousness by meditation or affirmation, will automatically bring what you desire.
He states, "A meditation in which you visualize a white mist filled with myriads of little points of energy. Scientists say this is life substance, the life force. visualize this mist high above you, around you, at your feet then breathe in the white mist, and visualize it proceeding upward into your brain making it alive with new power. I have been practicing this type of meditation for several days. It induces a sense of vital energy, an awareness of God's presence. Who is God? Some theological being? He is so much greater than theology. God is vitality. God is life. God is energy. As you breathe God in, as you visualize His energy, you will be reenergized!" (No More Stress or Tension, Plus: The Magazine of Positive Thinking, May, l986, pp. 22-23)
When asked in a recent letter about some of Dr. Peale's endorsements of specific New Age writers, and the Mormon prophet, the response was written by Peale's secretary, Mrs. Evelyn Yegella. She stated that she could find no reference nor endorsement to The Game of Life and The Jesus Letters. She also stated that "Perhaps he (Peale) is too generous with his praise" and that he "does not endorse theNew Age Movement" (letter from the Foundation For Christian Living, October 31, 1988). Yet in a recent interview with Beth Ann Krier of the Los Angeles Times, Peale said, "I don't know much about that New Age business. I have received critical letters that I belong to the New Age. I've got to look into it and see what it is. But anything that develops legitimate, positive thinking principles, I'm for it."
Instead, the apostle Paul says that first we must "present ourselves as a living and holy sacrifice to God... not being conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is the will of God, that which is good, acceptable and perfect" (Romans 12:1-2).
Frankly, comparing the teachings of Norman Vincent Peale with those of the Apostle Paul, we find Peale appalling and Paul appealing.

I agree with your suspicion that the long paragraphs of scripture may be meant to clutter the blog. It would be helpful if commenters would limit scripture to not more than five verses. For more, a reference to Book, Chapter, and Verse would be sufficient for interested readers to look up for themselves. Anyone commenting and quoting scriptures in the true spirit of God shouldn't have a problem with that. Hopefully, this would make things better for all of us, especially folks reading on their phones.
