X, sometimes the facts that are reported are true, but relevant facts are selectively left out, and these change the narrative if they are included. Here is an example.

In any case, the statement "very fine people on both sides" was from August 15, 2017; and, while I cannot find his statement from that date (though I myself heard his disclaimer re neo-Nazis, White supremacists and hate groups when he first said it), from the very day BEFORE is an absolutely clear statement condemning these groups. From TIME--which you cannot claim is right-leaning--is both audio of President Trump's statement and a corresponding transcript:

Since I cannot find his words from the 15th, at the very worst you could accuse Trump of being ill-informed. That is, since he had clearly spoken against far-Right activists and hate groups, he must have also mistakenly thought there were a few "very fine" individuals present who were against the statue's removal. Again, AT WORST. He clearly wasn't referring to "the KKK, neo Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups", which he'd specifically denounced the very day before.

I don't think the Michigan legistators have much of a leg to stand on after refusing to ban weapons from the capital building in September. Besides, legislators aren't part of the executive branch -- so let the professional law enforcement personnel do their jobs. Plus --- some of the republican legislators have shared stages at protests with members of militias, so the risk of telling too many people about an ongoing FEDERAL investigation risks having the perpetrators being tipped off by sympathetic parties and, perhaps, thwarting the investigation or worse, resulting in an instant speedup to the suspected plan. Denver shooter was a young man employed as a Pinkerton security guard that day. I presume Pinkerton does some serious background vetting so it's not likely he's mentally ill nor an immature street vigilante like Kyle Rittenhouse. He would have had a lot of defense training and know his way around a weapon. He was outnumbered with a gang of militia thugs all around him and being pepper-sprayed. Could he have feared for his life and what are Colorado gun laws as far as stand your ground and self-defense (objective vs subjective standards). Was he on the job defending his charges? The fact his social media contains support for BLM and anti-oppression ...just makes him typical of a lot of young men. Doesn't mean his actions were motivated by hatred or leftist ideologies nor that he was present representing any ideology (but maybe he was off work and lingered as a participant???). IMO, these street crowd situations boil down to testosterone more than ideologies anyway. Completely senseless arguments and violence.
I think you can read into those words and highlight specific sentences, in hindsight, to paint any picture you want. But no matter how you slice it -- Trump's naivete as a politician was exposed that week. Instead of taking the opportunity to be Presidential --- IMO, he made himself appear to be either a racist or a politician loyal to his base of racists who was just trying to walk the line of condemning/not condemning his supporters/allies -- while keeping in mind who his personal enemies were on the left that day.

Maybe there was some professor of history somewhere who was bemoaning the removal of these "beautiful" statues; but, I doubt it. They'd have had to have been there early that weekend and they certainly weren't in the crowd on tiki torch Friday night chanting "Jews will not replace us". Remember the backdrop to this -- the movement to remove many confederate statutes was instigated by many local governments following the Charleston church shooting in 2015, in which a white supremacist (Dylan Roof) shot and killed nine black members, including the minister (a state senator), and wounded others. There was a two year buildup to this moment in Charlottesville and it was clearly a "Unite the FARRRRR Right" rally --- and any mistaken fool, in light of the events Friday night, I find it even less likely them being outside literally "PROTESTING" in such crowds risking their lives to protect one particular statue of Robert E. Lee. You'd have to love General Lee's statue whole lot to do that.
Is that what Trump believed -- perhaps, subjectively, it was --- but that was his mistake and he hadn't exactly earned many benefits of the doubt before or after such event.
I thought about doing a line by line analysis to attempt to show what I mean but it's pointless really. The Washington Post article sums it up nicely. IMO, Trumps more a narcissist than a racist. He won in 2016 by playing the race card and drumming "nationalists" sentiments as a hail mary to his campaign against Hillary. He does signal them often with tweets to militia groups --- he's a big boy -- he can live and die by such. It might still get him elected.
But as Joe Biden pointed out recently: "The job of a president is to lower the temperature, And all of us are less safe because Donald Trump can't do the job of the American president."
With that reasoning, if Kamala Harris is seen with BLM or Antifa, she shouldn't be briefed on a security threat coming from one of them -- because after all she might be colluding. I think that premise should be vetted a little more to make sure it's durable enough for all situations with logical equivalence and moral consistency.

Sure you could read that first paragraph literally and say --- LOOK, Trump condemned neo-nazi's and white nationalists; however, this is the way I think this statement was heard by most Americans. Such understanding didn't line up with what we all witnessed for ourselves on TV that weekend.

My interpretation is that Trump was wishful thinking and talking off the top of his head and making up facts as he went along. By saying "he looked the night before" he confirmed/implied he watched the Friday night Tiki Torch march and thereby implied the "fine people" were somehow embedded within that disgusting Tiki march through UVA's campus and ending at a statue on campus (NOT the Robert E. Lee statue where I don't believe anything was going on that Friday night). Instead of being shocked and appalled by Friday night -- he wanted to focus on their good work fighting for a statue of Robert E. Lee and scoring political points about revisionist history instead of seizing a moment he COULD HAVE BEEN Presidential.
BTW -- what is the fascination with fighting so much about Charlottesville. It wasn't Trumps finest week. Why belabor that?

Sure. I have no idea what happened in Michigan and who should have told who, what, where and when. Did the democrat legislators know but not the republican legislators?
Why not hold Trump responsible for failing to tell the Michigan legislators someone was planning an attack on the capital? It was his justice department spearheading the investigation.
I'm not a cop but I imagine there comes a point where it's just risky to an operation to tell too many people.
Why belabor it? Actually, Charlottesville came up in the debate again. It's been thrown back in the face of conservatives and Christians many times, "the very fine people hoax".

The media is not responsible to be the president's PR, but it is responsible to the people, and it does not fulfill its responsibility to us. If the truth is bad, then it's bad enough, and quotes don't need to be taken out of context. So why do it, then? Was the in-context quote not bad enough? It was very divisive and inflammatory and irresponsible to echo the out of context quote over and over and give it the same exact framing over and over. It was very damaging not only to Trump but to the whole country.

He was planning on getting married this fall and appears to own/work a farm. He was likely becoming more conservative than he was as a young man.
The information PROVING he's a leftist date back to 2011 & 2012 when he was a 20 year old taking part in the [confusing] Occupy Denver movement for a brief moment in time and 2016 when he was a 25 year old Bernie supporter (at least it wasn't Hillary, right?). Part of the problem is/was his unwillingness to admit error, apologize or repent about anything. What nightmare scenario awaits if Joe Biden wins the election...
With extremely low voter enthusiasm for Joe Biden, he can only “win” the election by cheating: Rigging the votes, censoring conservative voices online, destroying mail-in ballots for Trump, encouraging dead people to vote Democrat, and so on.
To me it sounds like the New Jersey postman was just taking a shortcut at work by dumping a bunch of inserts and junk mail to make his job that day simpler --- probably not realizing 99 ballots were in there. As a young postman, he's probably working a swing route that sucks and just couldn't keep up with the inserts and get home at a reasonable time to jump on the xbox.
Besides, it's not like failure to get a ballot means you absolutely can't vote (though a pain in the ass to sort out not receiving your ballot...I imagine).
Further - Orange and West Orange are in Trumps stomping grounds and he's had some projects there that didn't pan out for the locals too much.
If this was a scheme to alter election results --- it's more likely Nicholas Beauchene was, more likely than not, trying to suppress votes for Biden. In 2016, Essex County voted overwhelmingly for the Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton, who received 240,837 votes. whereas Donald Trump, received just 63,176 votes in the county. The internet's probably already figured this one out somewhere but Beauchene's Facebook page does not indicate any overt support for one political candidate.
Overall -- while 99 ballots is a big deal -- even in that city, it might have cost Biden something like 30 votes net. Dead people voting, to the extent it probably happens, despite the risk of PRISON to the perpetrators, probably evens out as well. The much bigger concern and vote count manipulation game happens in the quasi-legal "invalidation" approach of various local election bodies throughout the country.
Probably one of the reasons Trump likes Florida's Vote By Mail system is the gamesmanship republicans have been able to exert using differing levels of scrutiny for rejecting such ballots. Several swing states have come down to just a few thousand votes dividing the candidates in the last twenty years and if you can orchestrate the "invalidation" of 30%-50% more of your opponents ballots than they can invalidate of yours, it just might be the difference. It's not a stretch to imagine how to do this and make it seem legit.
Here's a study published this past April of rejected Vote By Mail ballots in Florida where whites ballots (0.9% rejected) were 50% less likely to be rejected than non-whites (2%) and Voters ages 18-21 were 8 times more likely to have their VBM ballots rejected. In all, in 2018 elections 31,969 Florida VBM ballots representing 1.21% of 2,636,486 ballots were rejected.
And it's not just a "run-of-the-mill" obsessed kind of hating either, sadly it's a looking at the world through a pair of skewed religious views eyeglasses-type blind hatred.

I think you hit the proverbial nail on the head. Biden is the consummate wannabe. He has a very long, well documented history of embellishing, lying, etc. in order to inflate his image.
IMO, the guy is actually a nutcase, and his colleagues know it. I think Pelosi's recent "meeting" to discuss the 25th. Amendment (designed to remove an incompetent POTUS) had BIDEN in mind, not Trump. Therefore, the plan is to install Harris as POTUS soon after the election. Consequently, IMO, a vote for Biden is in reality a vote for Harris as POTUS. Harris on her own could never win a national election. She is way to radical and unlikable. I have never talked to anyone, including Democrats, that has expressed anything other than disdain for her. That sentiment was proven by her dismal showing, in spite of media hype for her candidacy, during the Primaries where she ended up polling in single digits.

I desire (and ask the Lord for this help and discernment often myself) that as Jesus advised...be wise as a serpent, harmless as a dove. John chapter 1:14 speaks to this too.. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Jesus could, and did, strike that balance every time.
That combo is something that we can pray for, and over time, learn to allow the Holy Spirit to apply God's word and His will to our sanctification, to work to the outside of us what God is working on the inside of us. I have not arrived either, but I do intend, by faith, to stay on this path. Following Jesus as I profess to do, requires it. The devil is such a copycat so he does try to mimic love, but somewhere, something, will in some way, betray that his brand of "love" proves it is not love at all. The first casualty is generally the truth itself, with many other victims thereafter.
My hope is built on Jesus, it is His kingdom I am most interested in rather than this worldly one. No politician, no pastor/priest can empower or enable me to do what is right like Jesus Himself can, but I pray for help and guidance to choose best, what would most honor and uplift His righteousness before the eyes of this world, leaving the outcome up to Him.

I don't think the Michigan legistators have much of a leg to stand on after refusing to ban weapons from the capital building in September. Besides, legislators aren't part of the executive branch -- so let the professional law enforcement personnel do their jobs. Denver shooter was a young man employed as a Pinkerton security guard that day. I presume Pinkerton does some serious background vetting so it's not likely he's mentally ill nor an immature street vigilante like Kyle Rittenhouse. He would have had a lot of defense training and know his way around a weapon. He was outnumbered with a gang of militia thugs all around him and being pepper-sprayed. Could he have feared for his life and what are Colorado gun laws as far as stand your ground and self-defense (objective vs subjective standards). Was he on the job defending his charges? The fact his social media contains support for BLM and anti-oppression ...just makes him typical of a lot of young men. Doesn't mean his actions were motivated by hatred or leftist ideologies nor that he was present representing any ideology (but maybe he was off work and lingered as a participant???). I think you can read into those words and highlight specific sentences, in hindsight, to paint any picture you want. But no matter how you slice it -- Trump's naivete as a politician was exposed that week. Instead of taking the opportunity to be Presidential --- IMO, he made himself appear to be either a racist or a politician loyal to his base of racists who was just trying to walk the line of condemning/not condemning his supporters/allies -- while keeping in mind who his personal enemies were on the left that day.

Maybe there was some professor of history somewhere who was bemoaning the removal of these "beautiful" statues; but, I doubt it. They'd have had to have been there early that weekend and they certainly weren't in the crowd on tiki torch Friday night chanting "Jews will not replace us". Remember the backdrop to this -- the movement to remove many confederate statutes was instigated by many local governments following the Charleston church shooting in 2015, in which a white supremacist (Dylan Roof) shot and killed nine black members, including the minister (a state senator), and wounded others. There was a two year buildup to this moment in Charlottesville and it was clearly a "Unite the FARRRRR Right" rally --- and any mistaken fool, in light of the events Friday night, I find it even less likely them being outside literally "PROTESTING" in such crowds risking their lives to protect one particular statue of Robert E. Lee. You'd have to love General Lee's statue whole lot to do that.
Is that what Trump believed -- perhaps, subjectively, it was --- but that was his mistake and he hadn't exactly earned many benefits of the doubt before or after such event.
I thought about doing a line by line analysis to attempt to show what I mean but it's pointless really. The Washington Post article sums it up nicely. IMO, Trumps more a narcissist than a racist. He won in 2016 by playing the race card and drumming "nationalists" sentiments as a hail mary to his campaign against Hillary. He does signal them often with tweets to militia groups --- he's a big boy -- he can live and die by such. It might still get him elected.

Sure you could read that first paragraph literally and say --- LOOK, Trump condemned neo-nazi's and white nationalists; however, this is the way I think this statement was heard by most Americans. Such understanding didn't line up with what we all witnessed for ourselves on TV that weekend.

My interpretation is that Trump was wishful thinking and talking off the top of his head and making up facts as he went along. By saying "he looked the night before" he confirmed/implied he watched the Friday night Tiki Torch march and thereby implied the "fine people" were somehow embedded within that disgusting Tiki march through UVA's campus and ending at a statue on campus (NOT the Robert E. Lee statue where I don't believe anything was going on that Friday night). Instead of being shocked and appalled by Friday night -- he wanted to focus on their good work fighting for a statue of Robert E. Lee and scoring political points about revisionist history instead of seizing a moment he COULD HAVE BEEN Presidential.

To me it sounds like the New Jersey postman was just taking a shortcut at work by dumping a bunch of inserts and junk mail to make his job that day simpler --- probably not realizing 99 ballots were in there. As a young postman, he's probably working a swing route that sucks and just couldn't keep up with the inserts and get home at a reasonable time to jump on the xbox.
Besides, it's not like failure to get a ballot means you absolutely can't vote (though a pain in the ass to sort out not receiving your ballot...I imagine).
Further - Orange and West Orange are in Trumps stomping grounds and he's had some projects there that didn't pan out for the locals too much.
If this was a scheme to alter election results --- it's more likely Nicholas Beauchene was, more likely than not, trying to suppress votes for Biden. In 2016, Essex County voted overwhelmingly for the Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton, who received 240,837 votes. whereas Donald Trump, received just 63,176 votes in the county. The internet's probably already figured this one out somewhere but Beauchene's Facebook page does not indicate any overt support for one political candidate.
Overall -- while 99 ballots is a big deal -- even in that city, it might have cost Biden something like 30 votes net. Dead people voting, to the extent it probably happens, despite the risk of PRISON to the perpetrators, probably evens out as well. The much bigger concern and vote count manipulation game happens in the quasi-legal "invalidation" approach of various local election bodies throughout the country.
Probably one of the reasons Trump likes Florida's Vote By Mail system is the gamesmanship republicans have been able to exert using differing levels of scrutiny for rejecting such ballots. Several swing states have come down to just a few thousand votes dividing the candidates in the last twenty years and if you can orchestrate the "invalidation" of 30%-50% more of your opponents ballots than they can invalidate of yours, it just might be the difference. It's not a stretch to imagine how to do this and make it seem legit.
Here's a study published this past April of rejected Vote By Mail ballots in Florida where whites ballots (0.9% rejected) were 50% less likely to be rejected than non-whites (2%) and Voters ages 18-21 were 8 times more likely to have their VBM ballots rejected. In all, in 2018 elections 31,969 Florida VBM ballots representing 1.21% of 2,636,486 ballots were rejected.

I think you hit the proverbial nail on the head. Biden is the consummate wannabe. He has a very long, well documented history of embellishing, lying, etc. in order to inflate his image.
IMO, the guy is actually a nutcase, and his colleagues know it. I think Pelosi's recent "meeting" to discuss the 25th. Amendment (designed to remove an incompetent POTUS) had BIDEN in mind, not Trump. Therefore, the plan is to install Harris as POTUS soon after the election. Consequently, IMO, a vote for Biden is in reality a vote for Harris as POTUS. Harris on her own could never win a national election. She is way to radical and unlikable. I have never talked to anyone, including Democrats, that has expressed anything other than disdain for her. That sentiment was proven by her dismal showing, in spite of media hype for her candidacy, during the Primaries where she ended up polling in single digits.
