So Much Happening in the World -- and in our personal lives as well

Dear Reader:  I dashed this piece off last night at about 3:30 a,.m.  Reading it to my friend Lana today, I discovered it needed editing which has been made below.  Please excuse the less than perfect proofreading.  There may be more that needs to be grammar correected.  My vision issues are kicking in again for this evening.

So Much Happening in the World -- and in our personal lives as well

We have a neighborhood Bible study that was organized a few months ago by our next door neighbor.  During the pandemic, this group has been a comfort to us as churches have been made largely inaccessible.  We are going through the Bible, book by book.  My disabled husband always gives me his blessings and sends me off to it, cautioning me to be on time.  We open and close with prayer.   I pretty much know my Bible cold, but as our study leader (a community college teacher) gives weekly reading assignments, I find re-reading the Bible  makes it much more familiar.  We just finished the book of 2nd Samuel and will be reading and discussing 1 Kings next week, God willing.  We end with refreshments that all participants bring.  Good study and good fellowship!

I returned home from it Sunday afternoon and my husband was in his adjustable large lazy-boy type chair.  Usually when I return, we begin a lively discussion of who was present and what was gleaned from this week's readings.  I started talking before entering the family room.  Barry was uncharacteristically quiet.   I was startled to find him in his chair, clutching a pole lamp that appeared to be falling and unresponsive.  I made a quick decision to call 911 and our Fire Department came thankfully, very very quickly.  A shot was administered and then we gave him a glass of orange juice.  His blood sugar was dangerously low.  He was transported by ambulance to the hospital where his cardiologist practices.  Because of my wet type macular degeneration, night driving is now out of the question for me.  The Fire Department ambulance personnel suggested I wait to hear from the hospital rather than follow them there.

I then called one of my very loyal friends, Lana Mangiapane, who is also an elected Oakland Township Trustee.  She came immediately and drove me to the hospital.  Because of the Covid-19 rules, only one could enter.  I was taken by a speedy wheel chair pusher attendant to my husband's room in the Emergency section.  Tests were being run and he was given food.  As you may recall, Barry, my husband for the past 46 years is a bilateral above the knee amputee from an October 15, 1979 accident, occurring only five years past our marriage.  With the grace of God, we have lived through that situation since.  Barry has been a real trouper since that accident.  He, a former teacher, took a second MSW degree and took a new post- accident career as a substance abuse therapist/social worker.  He retired a few years ago.  He recently turned 82 -- making his post-accident recovery accomplishments even more remarkable.  Over the years, he drove a car with hand controls and we even managed a few trips together in earlier years.

Time marches on.  The times have clearly turned very strange.  Very few people now saying things such as "lo, all continues as since Creation."  The world is being prepared for a global reset.  Covid-19 is the claimed excuse.  We are, as they like to say "in a time of transition."

I wrote about "our coming age of Barbarism."  That was brought home to me by last night's events.  I was forced to fight for my husband's needed treatment.  Barry's body is weakening.  Transitioning from wheel chair to bed and showering and bathroom are becoming increasingly difficult for him.  He has had continual pain from the accident and has learned to live with it over the years.  Heart trouble set in for him in the early 21st century years, but a defibrillator and pace maker have been successfully employed.

As Lana was driving home on the Freeway, I received a type of "robocall" on my mobile phone.  It was  from the hospital.  This was the same hospital system for which in earlier years I received a restraining order from a local court.  The order which I sought and obtained on an emergency basis prevented them  "pulling the plug" against family wishes on a gentleman whose life they had written off as unworthy of living.  Family members employed me to fight after that hospital told them they were going to pull the plug on his ventilator.   The gentleman had been weakened for many days by the hospital giving him only a drug called Ativan and depriving him of nutrients.

Preparing for the emergency hearing scheduled by the Court to take place soon after the restraining order was issued, I discovered that hospital attorneys were giving seminars on how to persuade families to make end of life decisions for family members against their wishes.  That hospital's medical and administrative staff were making triage type "quality of life" decisions.  They were giving that gentleman only Ativan.   and depriving him of necessary life sustaining nutrients.   He had lost the ability to speak because of a bad intubation received from a feeder hospital.  Family members approached me after the hospital made demands that they designate a guardian who could authorize the life support ending.

As I was to learn when I got into that case on an emergency basis, interesting dynamics developed.  As I was to learn when we got into hospital records discovery, the hospital had assigned staff Social Workers to work with family members twice a week with sessions to explore "why won't they let go of Dad."  Then they successfully pressured the family member appointed to the guardianship to support "pulling the plug."

Other family members then rushed in and said that dad was clearly not brain dead and was clearly responding to signs shown him.  Concerned honest hospital employees were tipping the family that the man was obviously not brain dead nor "vegetative".  That was what the hospital unsuccessfully attempted to portray in our subsequent court proceedings.  I didn't have to start a new law suit.  I was able to seek the restraining order using the the very same guardianship the hospital had tricked the family into obtaining.

After obtaining the emergency restraining order preventing a next day removal of life supports, I served it on the hospital.  We served it after business hours and upon the medical staff where the patient was housed.  Hospital personnel protested that only their legal department could receive the court order.  I said, "you are served, you are on notice."  The plug was not pulled and we had an emergency hearing.   At that hearing the Judge ordered that the man receive intravenous (IV) nutrients of which he had been deprived and a subsequent hearing was scheduled.  The hospital tried to prevent evidence collection.  Hospital attorneys sent both myself and the family warning letters telling them not to photograph nor videotape.  Of course, they did, securing evidence that he was responsive.  We then had a subsequent hearing and then the feeding tube was ordered.

The day of the ordered operation on the feeding tube, and while the Judge on the case would have gone to lunch, I received a telephone call from the hospital that the operation had been held, the patient put on an ambulance and transported to a facility in Sylvania, Ohio.  Clearly, moving him for the time being out of Michigan jurisdiction.  I was stunned at the audacity of that move.  That was the BAD NEWS.  The good news was that the hospital had moved him only 15 minutes from my medical expert, Dr. Paul Byrne of Sylvania, Ohio, then head of the Catholic Medical Association.  Dr. Byrne had done previous radio interviews with me on "passive euthanasia" issues.  On our next scheduled Court proceeding, that good Ohio doctor came as both an expert and fact witness.  Even more admirably, he came at his own expense from Ohio.  The hospital's staff attorney came confidently strutting into the Courtroom.  I made a motion that the hospital be dismissed from the case.  The patient was no longer a "guest in their facilities," I argued.  The judge asked the attorney why he should stay in the case.  "Because our medical records are involved," said the hospital's lawyer.

The Judge roared:  "Medical records are involved in every case.  Out!"  She too was obviously disturbed  by the hospital's tactics.  During discovery, the hospital had long stalled on giving me access to the medical records of the patient.  Another lawyer, also a doctor, told me which medical records to ask for.  We asked for the EEG records.  The medical records people told me the EEG records were not there.  "And just where they?", I asked.  "They are stored in cardiology, the medical records person said.  "That's really interesting," I replied.  "Here are the EKG records.  This was the same night I took the deposition of the doctor determined to pull the plug.  The doctor pointed to alleged brain scan pictures and said "he hears nothing, he sees nothing, he knows nothing."

I had cross-examination fun on that one.  I repeated that statement to the doctor and asked if he really believed it to be true.  I then asked, "he is receiving Ativan (an anti-anxiety drug), is he not."  "Yes," the doctor said.   That is an anti-anxiety drug, is it not, I asked.  He cleared his throat and said, "yes, it's a tranquilizer."  Well, doctor, if he sees nothing, hears nothing, knows nothing, why would he need a tranquilizer?"  He cleared his throat and in his British accent, harrumphed, "well, I personally believe he needs nothing, but some of my colleagues are of a different mind."  He sat stony faced as we showed him the videos we obtained of this allegedly "brain dead" and/or "persistent vegetative state gentleman responding to family written messages.

Well, how does this relate.  I would have preferred my husband to to a separate hospital, but this hospital is highly regarded and promotes heavily in our area.  It now has a medical school attached.  It does have some excellent doctors.  It also had doctors such as the English doctor then on that case who I learned were attached to the British Eugenics movements.

All that was brought to me last night.  As we were driving home from the hospital, a call on my mobile phone told me my husband was discharged and we should pick him up and take him home.  I was astounded because my husband's condition was severe and something had caused his blood sugar to suddenly tank.  I told the caller that the situation smacked of medical malpractice.  Then, I trotted out in a heated discussion my attorney credentials and my long time knowledge that the hospital made "quality of life / triage type decisions."  A frail looking 82 year old bilateral amputee did not look like some body with a good quality of life.  Knowing my husband, his active and sharp mind and remarkable exploits in managing his disability, he has a life worthy of living as long as the Lord decides to keep him here.   I said many heated things and then the caller said, he would talk to the doctor and make a decision, but I should try to get him home that night.

Thank God, I didn't and couldn't.  During the night the same medical condition repeated despite food and nutrients being given.  I know I scared the hospital by threatening malpractice and raising my knowledge of the practice, but I know my husband is getting better care because of it.  I would not be at all surprised to receiving calls from hospital social workers asking me to sessions to explore "why we can't let go."  This lady is prepared for it.

Welcome to the New Age of Covid-Resets as are currently being promulgated by World Economic Forum and its leader Klaus Schwab.  A form of global trauma was deemed necessary for a reset and global governance launch.  At this time, I cannot definitively say that this is a "planned virus."  However, they are certainly not letting a good crisis go to waste.  The old New Age slogan as chortled by New Age author Marilyn Ferguson in her book AQUARIAN CONSPIRACY of "crisis = opportunity is happening.  A drastic lowering of the world's population, biodiversity, and thinning of the elderly were deemed welcome developments.

You are probably seeing things like this in your own medical institutions.  Sometimes, one just has to fight.  The nurse taking care of my husband seems conscientious.  But, I know there are institutional policies for less profitable patients and the inclination to dump a patient prematurely is happening.

Anyway, that's one of the reasons you haven't heard too much from me lately.  I didn't name the facility in this story to "protect the guilty."  If my husband had been sent home last night, he would have died from the later developments in the night.  I have been given several horror stories of families where people were sent home from emergency and the need treatment not given.  We are grateful for good neighbors and that same facility's differing  medical people who intercepted the decision to prematurely discharge.  Pray for us as we go through this difficult stage of our senior years.

The "plandemic" is most likely just that, planned. In an effort to bring in the WEF's global reset. I have heard that Klaus Schwab told friends a virus was coming and that Klaus and the WEF sold all assets ahead of time to avoid the crash in markets.

May God strengthen and help you and all of us in these times.

COVID-19 Is 'Unrestricted Bioweapon': Whistleblower Releases Second Paper Alleging 'Large-Scale, Organized Scientific Fraud'

by Tyler Durden

Li-Meng Yan, A Chinese virologist (MD, PhD) who worked in a WHO reference lab and fled her position at the University of Hong Kong, has published a second co-authored report, alleging that SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes COVID-19, was not only created in a Wuhan lab, it's an "unrestricted bioweapon" which was intentionally released.

"We used biological evidence and in-depth analyses to show that SARS-CoV-2 must be a laboratory product, which was created by using a template virus (ZC45/ZXC21) owned by military research laboratories under the control of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) government," reads the paper.

SARS-CoV2 is a product of laboratory modification, which can be created in approximately six months using a template virus owned by a laboratory of the People's Liberation Army (PLA). The fact that data fabrications were used to cover up the true origin of SARS-CoV 2 further implicates that the laboratory modification here is beyond simple gain-of-function research.

The scale and the coordinated nature of this scientific fraud signifies the degree of corruption in the fields of academic research and public health. As a result of such corruption, damages have been made both to the reputation of the scientific community and to the well-being of the global community...

Justice Department seizes 92 Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps websites spreading pro-Biden propaganda

Oct 10, 2020 5:00 pm By Robert Spencer

Remember the good old days when Obama showered billions on the Islamic Republic of Iran? The mullahs do, and want those days back.

“U.S. Seizes 92 Websites Run by Iranian Intel Services,” by Adam Kredo, Washington Free Beacon, October 8, 2020:

'The Department of Justice on Wednesday seized the domain names of 92 websites that it says Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was using to spread propaganda and disinformation to American audiences.

'Iran and the IRGC used these websites to “spread propaganda covertly” and “sow discord” among the American public ahead of the 2020 presidential elections, according to John Demers, assistant attorney general for national security. Iran has spent great resources trying to influence the election in favor of Democratic challenger Joe Biden, and its operation of these websites violates U.S. sanctions.

'At least four of these websites were set up to appear as news outlets. They were, however, actually controlled by the IRGC, Iran’s paramilitary fighting force responsible for conducting cyber operations on the Islamic Republic’s behalf. This behavior violates the Foreign Agents Registration Act, which mandates that foreign governments disclose their activities in the United States. Visitors to these websites will now only see a Department of Justice notice about the domain name seizure….'

I am very sorry to read about all of your trials and tribulations. Thankfully, you were there to be your husband's "patient's advocate." Your husband sounds like a very remarkable man.

I personally experienced this very same thing regarding the medical case involving my Mother who was then a cancer patient way back in the early 1980's. After surgery, we were told by the Surgeon that "life is like running a race, her race has ended." Coming from the "authoritative" voice of a Dr. had a very strong effect on my family, including my Father, who had given up all hope. To make a VERY long story short, I fought for a second opinion and finally won. My Mother endured another surgery (the first was aborted based on a "quality of life" decision made by the SURGEON) and instead of living only "2-3 weeks," she lived another 2 years. Not long after this, I found out that this "Surgeon" (who happened to be a family "friend") had been successfully sued for medical malpractice several times. With all of the details surrounding this case, our family actually had a substantial, justifiable case in order to bring suit as well, but chose not to pursue it. "Quality of life" decisions ARE being made by Medical "experts." The day is coming when that decision will be left entirely in the hands of Physicians.

Over the years, I have personally heard of numerous cases whereby families had to fight the medical experts in order to get proper care for their loved ones ... far too many to indicate that this is not a widespread problem. While there are many tremendous people in the medical profession, as is true in all facets of life, many are not.

This fact alone should cause everyone to shudder ... every year in America ... over 200,000 patients DIE due entirely to medical malpractice. With the media hysterically spreading fear regarding COVID-19, I wonder why it is that they aren't paying equal attention to the pandemic of medical malpractice?

Also, keep this in mind; the "deaths" attributed to COVID-19 alone, according to the CDC, in the entire United States, is only 9,210 (as reported in the NY Times about 6 weeks ago. The CDC also had these statistics on their website until attention was drawn to it and then the CDC "scrubbed" it from their site). Meaning, that people are dying from COVID because of other life threatening situations, but the "cause of death" is being tagged "COVID."

"Why The WHO Faked A Pandemic"

Interesting article from 2010 about the World Health Organization faking a pandemic.

If I could put a finer point on the information you presented in your last paragraph:

--According to the CDC website (info now scrubbed) as of six weeks ago, 9210 people died OF or FROM COVID-19, and all these had multiple comorbidities (other life-threatening conditions). The median age is about 80.

--The other numbers attributed to COVID-19 deaths are those who died WITH--in distinction from OF/FROM--COVID-19, though the actual/primary cause of death was unrelated to the COVID-19 diagnosis.

Dear Constance ~

Four years ago, my husband had been in and out of the hospital and rehab facilities with deteriorating congestive heart failure. They felt that they had done all they could do... and suggested that I consider hospice care. I decided that if hospice was set up in my home, I would be there to 'supervise' his care. From the first day, they kept talking about morphine. My husband, who was sharp as a tack and alert (in other words, healthy from the neck up), said in a voice loud and clear: "I am not a stage 4 cancer patient. I am not in any pain. I neither want nor need any morphine!!!" Instead of respecting his wishes, they whispered to me, "We are going to put morphine in your refrigerator for, not IF, but WHEN he needs it." He overheard this conversation... and, after they left for the day, he told me to throw the morphine away. After several days of disrespecting my husband's wishes (and mine)... I took him OFF hospice care. I told them: "My husband is not a gallon of milk, with a two week expiration date stamped on his forehead!!!"

Now eventually, he DID pass away... but, I believe that it was on GOD'S TIMETABLE... not hospice's timetable. Therefore, I am now at total peace with my husband's death.

I later found out that what morphine does is that it gradually slows down a patient's breathing... until your loved one ends up being 'eased' into the next life (in other words death).

However, no one suspects a thing. After all, his hospital 'recommended' hospice care.

Now, if my husband HAD been a stage 4 cancer patient... I would have never been suspicious about what they were trying to do. (I would have remained clueless.)

I truly believe that hospice has become a LEGAL form of Euthanasia.

Constance, you have every reason to be concerned about where our country (and the world) is headed.

Sending love and continued prayers to both your husband and you.

Stay strong . . .

The "great reset" is the real agenda behind COVID panic

Former Australian Senator Cory Bernardi presented a piece for Sky News Australia in which he claimed that the agenda behind the COVID panic was for elite Davos billionaires to bring about a “great reset” that would see permanent social and economic changes.

Noting that there is “something unusual about the continuing pandemic panic,” Bernardi cited medical experts who “now acknowledge that lockdowns don’t work” and asked viewers to “consider if there is another agenda at work.”

Indeed, in a recent interview with the Spectator, the World Health Organization’s special envoy on COVID-19, Dr David Nabarro, called on world leaders to stop using lockdowns as their primary method of control because they were making “poor people an awful lot poorer.”

Bernardi then highlighted comments made by Klaus Schwab, founder and Chairman of the World Economic Forum, who told fellow globalists that COVID-19 had proven the old system to be inadequate and that, “Now is the historical moment of time not only to fight the… virus but to shape the system… for the post-corona era.”

“(Mr Schwab) admits that COVID is the new excuse to usher in the Green New Deal that climate alarmists, profiteers and big government have been pushing for years,” said Bernardi, adding that “the global response to COVID has been a green socialist’s dream.”

The former Senator noted how the coronavirus pandemic had facilitated the opportunity to impose a very similar crackdown that technocrats had previously sought to justify under the banner of climate change, namely, shutting down economies, lowering fuel consumption and airline travel as well as curtailing civil liberties and freedom of movement.

“Why do you think the Australian Greens have been so quiet these past months … it’s because their policy agenda is coming to life?” asked Bernardi.

After decades of peddling climate change lies and propaganda to force government by the elites, the socialists have used a media induced hysteria over public health as their latest weapon of economic destruction,” he added.

Highlighting how many of the same scientists who have convinced governments to impose draconian lockdowns were also involved in IPCC computer modeling that produced alarmist global warming forecasts, Bernardi concludes that the COVID lockdown looks an awful lot like the ‘Green New Deal’ and will have the same disastrous impact on the global economy.

Terrible circumstances Mrs. Cumbey. You and your husband are in my prayers this evening.

RayB -- 9,210 --- that's a fake conspiracy. Deliberate Qanon misrepresentation of the numbers.

-Death certificates are supposed to list any causes or conditions that contributed.

-Experts say it's not surprising that so few people who died from COVID-19 had no other underlying conditions listed on their death certificates. It is rare for people not to have multiple medical issues at death.

-As of Aug. 26, the CDC said, there were 161,332 deaths where COVID-19 was listed on the death certificate.

-The CDC data table is based on an analysis of death certificates that mention COVID-19 as a cause. For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned, the CDC notes.

-Social media users posted an older screenshot of the data that showed 153,504 deaths. The posts used the 6% figure to claim the U.S. death toll was much lower—9,210. (so the figure wasn't erased as it was a calculation 6% of 153,504)

-But such claims misrepresent the data. A death isn't excluded from the COVID-19 tally just because the person was obese or had diabetes or dementia. Someone with heart problems can still be killed by COVID-19, and the death certificate could mention both as contributing.

Your conspiracy also doesn't/wouldn't account for the huge excess number of deaths that have been reported to the CDC by death certificates from around the country. I tend to believe this figure may end up being an undercount --- as lockdowns and school closing certainly will result in less auto and industrial accident deaths --- I have read that auto accidents and deaths as a percentage of highway miles are way up this year; but, that's only because we've driven so many less miles. Simply quantitative auto deaths are way down this year which implies the excess deaths attributable to COVID may also be presumable higher than the raw data suggests.

For the past 7 months, it has been a well know fact that . . .

Physicians Say Hospitals Are Pressuring ER Docs to List COVID-19 on Death Certificates.

The economic incentive to add COVID-19 to diagnostic lists and death certificates is clear and DOES NOT REQUIRE ANY CONSPIRACY.

"Hospital administrators might well want to see COVID-19 attached to a discharge summary or a death certificate. Why? Because if it's a straightforward, garden-variety pneumonia that a person is admitted to the hospital for—if they're Medicare—typically, the diagnosis-related group lump sum payment would be $5,000, but if it's COVID-19 pneumonia, then it's $13,000, and if that COVID-19 pneumonia patient ends up on a ventilator, it goes up to $39,000."

So everyone one of these coroners, hospitals and doctors, from across the U.S., in big towns and small towns, are in on this scam of labeling all these excess deaths with the covid label in order to hide the real reason for, around that time, 164,000 excess death in the United States?

Usig CDC numbers
2017 -2,813,503 Total US Deaths
2018 -2,839,205 Total US Deaths
2019 -2,855,000 Total US Deaths
2020 - CDC Provisional numbers through Oct 5th (these were updated to Oct 10th yesterday after I did this calculation over the weekend) for US Deaths Jan 1 - Sept 26,2020 = 2,380,621 divided by 39 weeks to get weekly average times 13 weeks that remain in the year to obtain a ballpark estimate of what the annual death number in the US is going to be = 3,174,161 for total US 2020 deaths

3,174,161 Less (2,855,000 + .009% annual increase number = 2,880,695)= 293,466 as the estimated 2020 total excess deaths using provisional numbers and averages for last 13 weeks of the year.

As a carry over discussion from the last thread where you described Biden as a pathological liar listing out 12 or so "lies" as proof.

I'm just shocked lies matter that much to anyone that supports Trump. I'm sure over Biden's 47-year political career there's a lot more than just the twelve lies you listed but, as a point of comparison, there exists a list of 20,000 documented and fact-checked lies told by Donald Trump over just the term of his presidency. (20,055 false or misleading statements in 1,267 days).

That's not all.

Your list of "lies" are not really that egregious or fully accurate, for example,

1. The lie where he indicated he was supposedly a coal miner was actually claiming his uncle was a coal miner is nuanced in that his mother's ancestors WERE accomplished well-known engineers who worked in and around coal mine throughout the State of Pennsylvania and certainly throughout Biden's extended family of cousins, uncles, great uncles, second cousins ...etc - there were several/many actual "coal miners" - you really don't grow up in Scraton, PA without some connection to coal mining.

2. Biden was the oldest child and neither of his parents went to college so he was the first...among that unit to go to college. However, a line of his mother's side were very well educated engineers.

3. Biden's opposition to Iraq war is very nuanced. He voted to give Bush authority because having authority boosts negotiating power but didn't expect Bush to do so without a broad coalition and was eventually publicly critical of the war and the lies told to the senate by the Republican administration to get such authority. A senior senator just can't be publicly critical of a war while actual troops are engaged in fighting, thus, public political statements are conflicting.

4. Biden did call Slobodan Milosevic a “war criminal” to his face just probably not as bluntly as Biden made it out to be in his book. In 2008, Biden aide John Ritch indicated he did not remember such a blunt statement but instead that Biden made the case more gently when saying "The legend grows. But Biden certainly introduced into the conversation the concept that Milosevic was a war criminal. Milosvic reacted with aplomb".

5. Biden supposedly lied about his wife being hit by a drunk driver all those years ago. For a long time in their community it was rumored that the driver had been drinking that day but there were no blood or breath tests back in the early 70's and it's very common for grief-stricken persons to assign responsibility to others. Biden has since apologized to the driver's daughter and family about insinuating such and admitted he has no evidence to believe it was other than what is/was listed in the final report that his wife, for some reason, pulled out in front of the tractor-trailer with an infant in her lap. It's actually refreshing to read a story about a politician that admits to misrepresentation and then actually attempts to make amends and apologies to those affected.

6. In South Africa, Biden was apparently stopped for some reason and separated from his group (it may have been because he was white traveling with a group of black legislators and he or they were required to go differing ways through security at an airport). It was a misleading embellishment but not a complete fabrication.

I'm not checking them all - nor providing links that no one is interested in reading, because y'all really don't care about any of these lies when your willing to accept, overlook, believe and/or excuse the far more serious mountain of misrepresentation uttered by Trump.

It appears I was right about the likelihood that Trump's justice department illegally gunned down and executed the innocent Portland shooter Michael Reinoehl.
Numerous witness on the scene report that there was no, ‘Get out of the car!’ There was no, ‘Stop!’ There was no nothing. They just got out of the car and started shooting. This is certainly nothing like "law and order".

Attorney General William Barr trumpeted the operation as a “significant accomplishment” that removed a “violent agitator.” The officers had opened fire, he said, when Reinoehl “attempted to escape arrest” and “produced a firearm” during the encounter. But a reconstruction of what happened that night, based on the accounts of people who witnessed the confrontation and the preliminary findings of investigators, produces a much different picture — one that raises questions about whether law enforcement officers made any serious attempt to arrest Reinoehl before killing him.

In interviews with 22 people who were near the scene, all but one said they did not hear officers identify themselves or give any commands before opening fire. In their official statements, not yet made public, the officers offered differing accounts of whether they saw Reinoehl with a weapon. One told investigators he thought he saw Reinoehl raise a gun inside the vehicle before the firing began, but two others said they did not.

Reinoehl did have a .380-caliber handgun on him when he was killed, according to the county sheriff’s team that is running a criminal homicide investigation into Reinoehl’s death. But the weapon was found in his pocket.

An AR-style rifle was found apparently untouched in a bag in his car.

Five eyewitnesses said in interviews that the gunfire began the instant the vehicles arrived. None of them saw Reinoehl holding a weapon. A single shell casing of the same caliber as the handgun he was carrying was found inside his car.

Trump's Tweets before and after such shooting by the US Marshall made it evident that Trump and Barr were actively monitoring events on the ground in Washington that day and encouraged these actions.

Trump Tweets:

1. “Now we sent in the US marshals for the killer, the man that killed the young man in the street,” Trump told Judge Jeanine. “Two and a half days went by, and I put out [on Twitter], ‘When are you going to go get him?’ And the US marshals went in to get in, and in a short period of time, they ended in a gunfight. This guy was a violent criminal, and the US marshals killed him. And I’ll tell you something — that’s the way it has to be. There has to be retribution when you have crime like this.”

*approximately 15 minutes real-time after such tweet "when are you going to go get him" Reinoehl was dead.

2. "By the way, the US Marshals did a great job in Portland. You know what I mean"

Here's a reminder why all this Ukraine stuff doesn't stick on Joe.

"Still, when Joe Biden went to Ukraine, he was not trying to protect his son — quite the reverse.

"The then-vice president issued his demands for greater anti-corruption measures by the Ukrainian government despite the possibility that those demands would actually increase – not lessen — the chances that Hunter Biden and Burisma would face legal trouble in Ukraine."

Republican Conspiracy Theory About a Biden Scandal in Ukraine Is “Absolute Nonsense”

MEANWHILE - if grifting matters so much why would Republicans support the biggest drifting family ever to obtain the White House.

“President Trump’s children have established a record of the worst kind of grifting. They have spent the past three years abusing their access to the most powerful office in the land to line their own pockets, funnel money to their spouses and girlfriends, financially benefit the family business and have leveraged their father’s elected position to advance foreign business deals"

Obama conference call leaked to Burisma: Biden emails

The Obama administration let a Democratic p.r. company that worked for Ukrainian energy firm Burisma take part in a conference call about an upcoming visit to Ukraine by then-Vice President Joe Biden, emails obtained by The Post show.

An associate at Blue Star Strategies then emailed a memo with minutes of the conference call hosted by the White House to a top Burisma executive, Vadym Pozharskyi, as well as to Joe Biden’s son Hunter and Hunter’s business partner, Devon Archer, both of whom sat on Burisma’s board.

The trip, in December 2015, turned out to be the one during which Biden later bragged about forcing Ukrainian officials to fire a state prosecutor who was investigating Burisma by threatening to withhold a $1 billion US loan guarantee.

The memo, sent shortly after the Dec. 2, 2015, call, also “outlined the trip’s agenda and addressed several questions regarding US policy toward Ukraine.”

Blue Star has said it began working for Burisma and contacting Ukrainian officials on its behalf in November 2015, and an email shows that on Nov. 18, 2015, Pozharskyi sent the Blue Star contract to Hunter Biden, Archer and Eric Schwerin, president of the Rosemont Seneca Partners investment firm.

Hunter Biden and Archer were among RSP’s founders, along with former Secretary of State John Kerry’s stepson, Christopher Heinz, Reuters has reported.

“Could you kindly have BS countersign it and forward back to me?” Pozharskyi wrote. “I am kindly asking you to schedule either a conf call or advise us as to the foreseen action plan for November-December 2015, and if anything has been already done by BS, could kindly you ask them to share with us this information?”

A Blue Star spokesman declined to comment.

Outrageous: Facebook and Twitter are now ‘Fact-Checking’ the Main-Stream Media

Las Vegas, NevadaParler, the people-driven free speech platform, today criticized Facebook and Twitter for blocking the sharing of an article in The New York Post that presented emails and other digital evidence about an alleged pay-to-play scheme between Hunter Biden, a Ukrainian state-owned energy company, and then-Vice President Joe Biden.

The New York Post, America’s fourth largest paper by circulation, published the piece today, but have been stymied in efforts to circulate the article on Facebook and Twitter.

To view the entire article, click here.

Sohrab Ahmari, the Post’s opinion editor, posted a screen shot of Twitter blocking his attempt to share a link to the story and wrote, “This is a Big Tech information coup. This is digital civil war. I, an editor at The New York Post, one of the nation’s largest papers by circulation, can’t post one of our own stories that details corruption by a major-party presidential candidate, Biden.”

Facebook’s Vice President for Communication Andy Stone, a long time Democrat Party operative, confirmed that the publisher was “reducing distribution” of the story.

“Once again, Facebook and Twitter have proven that they are agenda-driven publishers who want to control information and trample on our right to read what we want and decide for ourselves what to think,” said Parler CEO John Matze. “Americans have the right to read provocative stories and evaluate the evidence for themselves. In this case, we are talking about allegations of corruption at the highest levels of government, which should be exposed to the open air and sunlight, not swept under the rug by Tech Oligarchs.

“Americans deserve a free and open Public square—not technoauthoritarianism. It’s time to #Erasebook, #Twexit and join the movement at Parler.”

Parler was founded in 2018 and has a community of over 4 million people. The platform is committed to free speech, does not mine or sell data, and does not curate content based on politics or ideology. Parler continues to stand with the People and against Technoauthoritarianism.

Smoking-gun email reveals how Hunter Biden introduced Ukrainian businessman to VP dad

Hunter Biden introduced his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, to a top executive at a Ukrainian energy firm less than a year before the elder Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company, according to emails obtained by The Post.

The never-before-revealed meeting is mentioned in a message of appreciation that Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma, allegedly sent Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, about a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board at a reported salary of up to $50,000 a month.

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the email reads.

An earlier email from May 2014 also shows Pozharskyi, reportedly Burisma’s No. 3 exec, asking Hunter for “advice on how you could use your influence” on the company’s behalf.

The blockbuster correspondence — which flies in the face of Joe Biden’s claim that he’s “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings” — is contained in a massive trove of data recovered from a laptop computer.

From: Vadym Pozharskyi

Subject: Meeting for coffee?
Date: April 17, 2015 at 6:00:51 AM PDT
To: Hunter Biden

Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and
giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent
some time together. It’s really an honor and pleasure.
As we spoke yesterday evening, would be great to
meet today for a quick coffee. What do you think? I
could come to you office somewhere around noon or
so, before or on my way to airport.
Best ,

The computer was dropped off at a repair shop in Biden’s home state of Delaware in April 2019, according to the store’s owner.

Other material extracted from the computer includes a raunchy, 12-minute video that appears to show Hunter, who’s admitted struggling with addiction problems, smoking crack while engaged in a sex act with an unidentified woman, as well as numerous other sexually explicit images.

The customer who brought in the water-damaged MacBook Pro for repair never paid for the service or retrieved it or a hard drive on which its contents were stored, according to the shop owner, who said he tried repeatedly to contact the client.

The shop owner couldn’t positively identify the customer as Hunter Biden, but said the laptop bore a sticker from the Beau Biden Foundation, named after Hunter’s late brother and former Delaware attorney general.

Photos of a Delaware federal subpoena given to The Post show that both the computer and hard drive were seized by the FBI in December, after the shop’s owner says he alerted the feds to their existence.

Craig said...

(A federal subpoena showing the computer and hard drive were seized by the FBI)

But before turning over the gear, the shop owner says, he made a copy of the hard drive and later gave it to former Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello.

Steve Bannon, former adviser to President Trump, told The Post about the existence of the hard drive in late September and Giuliani provided The Post with a copy of it on Sunday.

Less than eight months after Pozharskyi thanked Hunter Biden for the introduction to his dad, the then-vice president admittedly pressured Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk into getting rid of Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin by threatening to withhold a $1 billion US loan guarantee during a December 2015 trip to Kiev.

“I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,” Biden infamously bragged to the Council on Foreign Relations in 2018.

“Well, son of a bitch. He got fired.”

Shokin has said that at the time of his firing, in March 2016, he’d made “specific plans” to investigate Burisma that “included interrogations and other crime-investigation procedures into all members of the executive board, including Hunter Biden.”

Joe Biden has insisted that the US wanted Shokin removed over corruption concerns, which were shared by the European Union.

Meanwhile, an email dated May 12, 2014 — shortly after Hunter Biden joined the Burisma board — shows Pozharskyi attempting to get him to use his political leverage to help the company.

The message had the subject line “urgent issue” and was also sent to Hunter Biden’s business partner, Devon Archer, who also sat on the Burisma board at the time.

(Email from Vadim Pozharskyi to Devon Archer and Hunter Biden)

Pozharskyi said that “the representatives of new authorities in power tend to quite aggressively approach N. Z. unofficially with the aim to obtain cash from him.”

N.Z. isn’t identified in the email but appears to be a reference to Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky, whose first name is a Ukrainian version of “Nicholas.”

When the alleged shakedown failed, “they proceeded with concrete actions” in the form of “one or more pretrial proceedings,” Pozharskyi wrote.

“We urgently need your advice on how you could use your influence to convey a message / signal, etc .to stop what we consider to be politically motivated actions,” he added.

Hunter Biden responded by saying he was with Archer in Doha, Qatar, and asked for more information about “the formal (if any) accusations being made against Burisma.”

“Who is ultimately behind these attacks on the company? Who in the current interim government could put an end to such attacks?” he added.

The exchange came the same day that Burisma announced it had expanded its board of directors by adding Hunter Biden, who was put in charge of its “legal unit and will provide support for the Company among international organizations,” according to a news release that’s since been scrubbed from Burisma’s website.

Hunter Biden actually joined the board in April 2014, according to multiple reports.

His lawyer said last year that Hunter was “not a member of the management team,” adding, “At no time was Hunter in charge of the company’s legal affairs.”

About four months after Hunter Biden’s correspondence with Pozharskyi, Archer forwarded Hunter Biden an email chain with the subject line “tax raise impact on Burisma production,” which included Pozharskyi saying that the Ukrainian cabinet had submitted new tax legislation to the country’s parliament.

SCOOP: Man Who Fired First Shots Behind Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha Has Been Charged

The man who fired the first shots from behind Kyle Rittenhouse during the fatal incident in Kenosha has been charged.

Joshua Ziminski, 35, has been charged with disorderly conduct and use of a dangerous weapon for firing his weapon during the incident on August 25.

According to the charging document, obtained by The Gateway Pundit, while investigating the shooting by Rittenhouse, Kenosha detectives obtained videos in which Ziminski “was holding a black handgun, which he was holding in his left hand, pointing downward. Detective Howard reports that in reviewing multiple other videos, he was able to see the defendant and Kelly Ziminski, in and around multiple other people on the streets, and the defendant was seen holding the handgun down at his side in said videos.”

In another video, the defendant and Kelly are seen walking near a fire in the area of the Ultimate Gas Station lot. In later video, the defendant’s right arm is seen on the video, which is taken near 63rd Street and Sheridan Road, in the City and County of Kenosha, State of Wisconsin. Detective Howard reports the defendant’s arm pointing the gun upward towards the sky,” the document explains. “Detective Howard observed a muzzle flash emit from the handgun, and heard a gunshot at the same time. In another video, the defendant is clearly seen at that same location. The defendant is seen walking in the same area, holding his right arm upwards, and firing off one shot from his handgun. The defendant and his wife are then seen leaving the area. Several other people are in the nearby vicinity when the defendant fires the handgun.”

The police go on to report that when speaking to Ziminski, and his wife who was present at the time, both admitted that he had fired off a “warning shot” into the air.

This strengthens the case that Rittenhouse had reason to fear for his life and was acting in self defense when he shot and killed two rioters.

A New York Times timeline of events of the shooting states, “while Mr. Rittenhouse is being pursued by the group, an unknown gunman fires into the air, though it’s unclear why. The weapon’s muzzle flash appears in footage filmed at the scene.”

“Mr. Rittenhouse turns toward the sound of gunfire as another pursuer lunges toward him from the same direction. Mr. Rittenhouse then fires four times, and appears to shoot the man in the head,” the Times report continues.

Rittenhouse, 17, is charged with first-degree intentional homicide. He is currently in a juvenile detention center in Lake County without bond and is due to appear in court again on October 30.

It was reported on Tuesday that Rittenhouse will not be charged in Illinois for the weapon used during the riot.

Rittenhouse is a community lifeguard who was working in Kenosha the day of the shooting.

Craig said...

In a previous statement from Rittenhouse’s defense team, they explained that he was acting in self defense.

“Kyle stopped to ensure care for the wounded attacker but faced a growing mob gesturing towards him. He realized he needed to flee for his safety and his survival. Another attacker struck Kyle from behind as he fled down the street. Kyle turned as the mob pressed in on him and he fell to the ground,” his legal team says. “One attacker kicked Kyle on the ground while he was on the ground. Yet another bashed him over the head with a skateboard. Several rioters tried to disarm Kyle. In fear for his life and concerned the crowd would either continue to shoot at him or even use his own weapon against him, Kyle had no choice but to fire multiple rounds towards his immediate attackers, striking two, including one armed attacker. The rest of the mob began to disperse upon hearing the additional gunshots.”

Kyle Rittenhouse won't face charges for gun offense in Illinois

He remains jailed in Illinois, pending extradition to Wisconsin

Kyle Rittenhouse, the teen accused of fatally shooting two protesters and wounding a third in Wisconsin over the summer, will not be charged with a gun offense in his home state of Illinois, prosecutors said Tuesday.

The 17-year-old remains jailed in Lake County, Ill., pending extradition to Wisconsin, where he faces multiple criminal charges in Kenosha.

A statement from the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office said an Antioch police investigation determined the firearm used in the Kenosha shooting was purchased and stored in Wisconsin.

"There is no evidence the gun was ever physically possessed by Kyle Rittenhouse in Illinois," a news release said.

Rittenhouse is charged with first-degree intentional homicide; one count of first-degree reckless homicide; one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide; two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment and one count of possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18, all felonies.

Prosecutors said he shot two protesters in Kenosha and wounded a third on Aug. 25 as demonstrations flared over the police shooting of Jacob Blake. He was arrested at his home in Antioch a day later.

Messages to his lawyers from Fox News were not returned.

Rittenhouse’s lawyers are fighting his extradition to Wisconsin. Last week they filed a writ of habeas corpus arguing that extraditing him "would be to turn him over to the mob.” They have portrayed thier client as someone acting in self-defense.

He is due back in court Oct. 30 for an extradition hearing.

Facebook and Twitter (and others) are doing it because the story is un-credible.

Just because you fabricate a story doesn't mean you are entitled to circulate lies and misreprentations everywhere without question. The whole story, besides being a bunch of nothing, doesn't pass the smell test (other than smelling like desperation).

Hunter Biden isn't running for President and Hunters issues are public knowledge already.

"The New York Post inadvertently revealed the original source of its dubious Hunter Biden story" https://www.businessinsider.com/new-york-post-may-have-identified-hunter-biden-source-2020-10

"A water-damaged MacBook Pro and a copied hard drive are at the core of a bizarre story" https://www.vice.com/en/article/qj4gqv/the-ny-posts-hunter-biden-laptop-story-is-a-right-to-repair-nightmare

To me this is almost comical. Trump's own US Intelligence filed reports on {Russian?} hacker's attempts to access Burisma last January and they snticipated a potential "October Surprises" trying to sway the election.

Assuming it was an attempted covert operation by Guiliana and friends of the Trump, -- why the extra step of putting it on macbooks (one with a Beua Biden Foundation sticker for extra credibility) and drop them off at a Trump supporters computer repair store in Delaware? Credibility? To maybe make it appear Hunter Biden was the source of all the documents, pictures and emails revealled and yet to be revealled? I think the purpose is because they were free to make up and fabricate more freely this way using a few real pictures and hacked emails in an attempt to show it actually was Hunter's hard drive.

Security experts told the Times in January that the hackers’ findings, as well as what they were looking for, remained unclear, but the timing indicated they could have been in search of the same sort of potentially embarrassing material on the family Trump sought when he asked Zelensky to launch an investigation.

On Wednesday, the Times reported that intelligence analysts began looking into a potential leak of the stolen emails in September out of concern that the material would be used along with forged records to hurt Joe Biden’s chances in the November presidential election.

"US intelligence analysts predicted stolen Burisma emails would be leaked in October" https://thehill.com/policy/technology/technology/521156-us-intelligence-analysts-predicted-stolen-burisma-emails-would

I also wonder -- if Burisma was hacked -- they'd have found all sorts of revealling emails between other executives about Hunter Biden and the role he was and did play as a member of their Board of Directors. We shell see what comes out but the absence of a lot more context from Burisma servers is a little off-putting. Burisma certainly hired Hunter Biden for purposes other than his expertise in oil and gas exploration --- so lets see it.

Gabriela Gomes - We are about to reach herd immunity thresholds right now in many parts of the world

Gabriela Gomes is a Biomathematician studying infectious diseases, epidemiology, and professor at the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. She worked as a researcher at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK, and Centro de Investigação em Biodiversidade e Recursos Genéticos, Universidade do Porto.
Dr Gabriela Gomes Personal statement:

"I have 30 years of research experience in nonlinear dynamics. With initial interests in the abstraction of symmetries governing pattern formation in natural and experimental systems, in the last 20 years my research activity has primarily involved mathematical modelling of infectious disease dynamics and epidemiology. Over the last 10 years, I became increasingly appreciative of the need to build and promote new infectious disease epidemiology theory to account for individual variation in characteristics that are under selection, especially when selection forces are dynamic. These characteristics may not be heritable, in which case selection affects each generation while being invisible to current evolutionary theory, which to some extent also needs to be re-examined. More generally, whether we refer to populations of humans, animals, microbes, or cells, the idea that in every observational or experimental study there is always a degree of unobserved heterogeneity that can reverse the direction of our conclusions is unsettling, but the issue can be tackled by general mathematical formalisms that account for it combined with study designs that enable its estimation.

Ten years ago, I encountered a concept that transformed the way I think about populations. The idea of frailty variation was introduced in demography 40 years ago to describe variation in individual longevity. As the frailest individuals are removed earlier from a heterogeneous cohort, death rates decline over time creating an impression that individual longevity is increasing even when it is not. This is the simplest realisation of a phenomenon that has manifold manifestations in any study that involves counting the individuals that constitute a population over time, across environments or experimental conditions. It appears to explain a wide range of reported discrepancies between studies and contribute to resolve decade-long debates, such as why vaccines appear less efficacious where disease burdens are high, why mathematical models tend to overpredict the impact of disease control measures and whether niche mechanisms need to be invoked to explain the levels of biodiversity observed in nature. I have reformulated these and other problems and have been privileged to collaborate with colleagues around the world."

Emails reveal how Hunter Biden tried to cash in big on behalf of family with Chinese firm

Hunter Biden pursued lucrative deals involving China’s largest private energy company — including one that he said would be “interesting for me and my family,” emails obtained by The Post show.

One email sent to Biden on May 13, 2017, with the subject line “Expectations,” included details of “remuneration packages” for six people involved in an unspecified business venture.

Biden was identified as “Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC,” an apparent reference to the former Shanghai-based conglomerate CEFC China Energy Co.

His pay was pegged at “850” and the email also noted that “Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate.”

In addition, the email outlined a “provisional agreement” under which 80 percent of the “equity,” or shares in the new company, would be split equally among four people whose initials correspond to the sender and three recipients, with “H” apparently referring to Biden.

The deal also listed “10 Jim” and “10 held by H for the big guy?”

Neither Jim nor the “big guy” was identified further.

The email’s author, James Gilliar of the international consulting firm J2cR, also noted, “I am happy to raise any detail with Zang if there is [sic] shortfalls ?”

“Zang” is an apparent reference to Zang Jian Jun, the former executive director of CEFC China.

The email is contained in a trove of data that the owner of a computer repair shop in Delaware said was recovered from a MacBook Pro laptop that was dropped off in April 2019 and never retrieved.

The computer was seized by the FBI, and a copy of its contents made by the shop owner shared with The Post this week by former Mayor Rudy Giuliani...

Microsoft founder Bill Gates has made himself the global vaccine czar as his foundation spends billions on spreading new vaccines globally. While much attention has been given to the role of Gates behind the corrupt WHO in promoting radical untested coronavirus vaccines, the record of the Gates Foundation pushing an oral polio vaccine across Africa gives more sobering evidence that all Gates says and does is not genuine human charity. The UN has just recently admitted that new cases of infantile paralysis or polio have resulted in Africa from an oral polio vaccine developed with strong support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. It mirrors what happened in the USA in the 1950s. This is worth a closer look.

Twitter is back up: Social media giant denies it's been hacked and blames outage that hit 50,000 users on 'inadvertent change to internal systems' - amid controversy over it locking Trump campaign account and blocking Biden-Ukraine stories

- Media giant went down for more than an hour for thousands of users across the globe soon after 5p.m. E.T. Thursday
- More than 50,000 users reported outages on Down Detector
- Users were unable to share tweets, see notifications or refresh the News Feed
- Twitter said there is 'no evidence of a security breach or hack' and blamed the outage on 'an inadvertent change we made to our internal systems'
- Just 6,026 outages were reported by 7 p.m. and only 2,600 by 8 p.m.
- The outage came just 24 hours after the platform faced a backlash for removing the New York Post article about Joe Biden's alleged dealings with Ukraine
- The Trump campaign account was suspended for sharing the story and Trump threatened to revoke the social media giant's legal protection

Why is the mainstream media and big tech hiding information (truth) from the American people?

They are doing so because they are part of the New World Order cabal that is working feverishly in order to establish a Satanic One World Government.

ALL totalitarian societies eliminate the truth from the people. This is exactly what Orwell wrote about in his novel "1984." The Internet is the last bastion of uncensored information. Without access to the truth, the tree of freedom withers away.

If Biden/Harris are elected, look for the Internet to be severely censored, following the playbook of Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Many other entities on the Net such as news sites are already censoring individuals that post in the comments section. Don't discount the power the "comments" section has and that is why they are attempting to control the content. Quite often, if they don't like what a person is posting, they simply block your account so that you can't gain access in order to post a comment. Or, another trick is to "review" the comments prior to their posting it on the site. If your comment does not comport with their agenda, they will not post your comment.

Just one illustration of censorship regarding Youtube: Stephan Molyneux of Freedomman Radio. Molyneux had over a million subscribers on his Youtube channel. His videos would often garnish hundreds of thousands of views. I saw many of these videos and never saw anything that even remotely came across as "racist," etc. What got Molyneux canceled by Youtube was a TRUTHFUL video regarding George Floyd which provided documented information of Floyd's criminal past, including a home invasion in which he held a loaded gun to the belly of a pregnant Black woman as the robbers ransacked her home. This truth was too much for Youtube so Molyneux was banned for life. Obviously, his truthful narrative went against the saintly image of George Floyd that the media and Youtube, etc. were attempting to create.

Molyneux, like many others such as Julian Assange, paid the price for attempting to get the truth into the hands of the people.
All that love lies are servants of Satan, the father of all lies.

Biden to 'Proud Mom' of 8-Year-Old Transgender: 'There Should Be Zero Discrimination'

Just pause for a moment and ask yourselves the question; what would have happened to this "mother" in Old Testament days? The God of the Old Testament is the same God of the New Testament. He hated these types of perversions back then, as He most certainly does today. God is the same God yesterday, today and forever.

Here is just one application of this radical 'logic': If an 8 year old decided to eat nothing other than candy, ice cream and potato chips, and the "mother" bought her kid nothing other than candy, ice cream and potato chips to eat, wouldn't that "mother" be guilty of gross child endangerment? Of course she would be.

I truly pity this poor, mixed up, 8 year old child that is a victim of having such an evil person for a "mother."

Just a couple examples that this happens all the time. What's unique and refreshing is that Biden will actually own up to things once a gaffe or mistake is pointed out to him and his team. To be clear, a quickly fixed staff error on citations and cherry-picked, isolated examples from a 47-year career in public life are irrelevant to what kind of president Joe Biden would be. Voters know Joe Biden. To clarify, an anonymous Catholic person who posts in the comments here, was angry at Paul and RayB, over their criticism of the Roman Catholic church. This anonymous Catholic person presumed that knew all kinds of personal information about Paul, including, supposedly, a dispute with a neighbor over a drivewway. He also presumed to know RayB's personal family background. This is in the archives, and I don't know the the date or timestamp. It happened this year. I don't have Constance's memory for detail.

I don't know if this person is your friend. If you say he isn't, I believe you. He praised you as somebody who discusses his religion graciously, but that hardly reflects badly on you.

If you say you don't know what I'm talking about, I will take you at your word, Craig.

I needed to outright ask for the sake of clarification. I did not want to guess.

Craig said...

Well, I appreciate the fact that you are addressing this in some fashion.

Though I recall asking if you were X, I just cannot recall why I thought so. It had nothing to do with trying to defame you in any way (or X)--just seeking clarification. When you said you weren't, I let it go. And that was quite some time ago! Since then it became increasingly obvious to me that you and X were/are completely different posters here.

Even so, I've no idea of who you are, except what very little info you self-disclosed (nor X, even though he shared a tad bit more personal info). And I cannot see how anyone can use that limited information as a means by which to find out who you (or X) are; and a simple one letter initial which may or may not be any part of your actual name, is not enough, either. I assume (and had assumed) "J" is not part of your name. Of course, I suggest you not respond to clarify either way.

Yes, I saw what happened to paul, and I specifically made a comment here about this AND, in concern, I contacted Constance via email. If a person wishes to retain anonymity, I feel that is their right. I agree, it IS dangerous out there right now.

As I'm getting ready to post the immediately preceding, I see your 3:11 PM comment. I know what your talking about, but I DO NOT condone that kind of behavior from ANYONE for ANY reason. And I have NO IDEA who this person is, besides their own self-disclosure as a RCC-adherent.

Craig said: "But that would require some sort of Constitutional AMENDMENT, not re-interpretation."

Stevens was just suggesting an Amendment as one way to fix the way the court has incorrectly expanded and "read into" the second amendment.

Essentially, any real "strict constructionist" or "originalist" SHOULD stick to the original constitutional congress historical understanding of the Second Amendment:

For more than 200 years following the adoption of that amendment, federal judges uniformly understood that the right protected by that text was limited in two ways: First, it applied only to keeping and bearing arms for military purposes, and second, while it limited the power of the federal government, it did not impose any limit whatsoever on the power of states or local governments to regulate the ownership or use of firearms. Thus, in United States v. Miller, decided in 1939, the court unanimously held that Congress could prohibit the possession of a sawed-off shotgun because that sort of weapon had no reasonable relation to the preservation or efficiency of a “well regulated Militia.
Organizations such as the National Rifle Association disagreed with that position and mounted a vigorous campaign claiming that federal regulation of the use of firearms severely curtailed Americans’ Second Amendment rights. Five years after his retirement, during a 1991 appearance on “The MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour,” Burger himself remarked that the Second Amendment “has been the subject of one of the greatest pieces of fraud, I repeat the word ‘fraud,’ on the American public by special interest groups that I have ever seen in my lifetime.”

In recent years two profoundly important changes in the law have occurred. In 2008, by a vote of 5 to 4, the Supreme Court decided in District of Columbia v. Heller that the Second Amendment protects a civilian’s right to keep a handgun in his home for purposes of self-defense. And in 2010, by another vote of 5 to 4, the court decided in McDonald v. Chicago that the due process clause of the 14th Amendment limits the power of the city of Chicago to outlaw the possession of handguns by private citizens. I dissented in both of those cases and remain convinced that both decisions misinterpreted the law and were profoundly unwise. Public policies concerning gun control should be decided by the voters’ elected representatives, not by federal judges.

Biden Says Enactment of Homosexual, Transgender ‘Equality Act’ Is ‘Top Legislative Priority’ if Elected

You can only imagine what this will mean for religious liberty in America. Way back in the 80's, I saw this day coming and was telling fellow Christians that the move towards obtaining "equality" for Homosexuality is nothing other than a back door attack upon Christianity. LGBTQ+ "equality" will have wide ranging ramifications that will impact virtually every area of life. This will literally be the destruction of all traditional morality (a goal cited in the Communist Manifesto), and will be forced upon us by the full authority of Federal Law, with Justice Department agents enforcing it.

IMO, the powers to be have a load of goods on the thoroughly corrupt Biden that they will hold over his head as leverage in order to get him to go along with THEIR agenda. If he doesn't comply, one way or the other, Biden will be removed from office. The Communist Kamala Harris will take over from there. This is REALLY how power politics works. (side bar: LBJ secured the VP spot with the very reluctant JFK because LBJ had a large dossier on JFK's womanizing, which would have ruined his chances in the election. Even JFK's secretary Evelyn Lincoln stated in a taped interview that that is exactly what happened and why JFK picked LBJ).

Former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover used this type of tactic for decades. He would use his agents to gather damaging evidence against powerful politicians in D C and then have two agents pay a friendly visit, whereby a COPY of the file would be handed over with the warning "be more careful, imagine what would happen if your enemies had this information." The agents would make sure that the implication was loud and clear with the offending politician; "we've given you a copy ... the Director has what we gave you and more, so you'd better toe the line." This is how Hoover remained one of the most powerful figures in the Government for decades.

I’m not going down this path you wish to entice me down. The issue is quite simple: to suggest an AMENDMENT (“five words”) to a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT IS A (RE)INTERPRETATION. An originalist would never suggest that we rewrite any portions of the Constitution. An originalist would look at the historical context to determine what the original authors of the Bill of Rights intended to be the interpretation/understanding of the 2A. This intended understanding would be written into his/her arguments and/or decision of the case in front of them.

Bottom line: Any change in the verbiage of the Constitution requires an initial proposal AND THEN ratification by 3/4s of the states.

Just a few gems found in this article:

"The younger generations have never been taught how to think. Instead, they are taught what to think. You see the result in the majority white presence in ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter."

"Throughout the Western world facts have given way to emotions. The concept of independent truth itself has been lost. Truth is whatever serves the agenda."

"Donald Trump will be the last American president who tried to put the people’s interest above those of the ruling elites. Henceforth, all presidential candidates will understand that their political success depends only on being the best puppet for the Establishment."

OMG constance! you are in my prayers.

We saw some of this action with my Dad, and were helpless to help him due to no contact. It was a horrible situation for me and my family. My comfort was in the Lord, realizing I was helpless to help, but God wasn't. My Dad may have needed quality time with the Lord to get right with Him. In times recently past we were always there as much as we could for him. This time non of us.

When they moved him to rehab, the doctor there went on a little rant saying the hospital has been releasing patients too soon. Since non of us were doctors or couldn't even see Dad, we couldn't do anything. They ping ponged him back and forth between rehab and hospital and he finally passed away on the way back to the hospital.
Needless to say it was tramatic for us, but he did die in his sleep, as I had prayed for him. And I'm believing right with God. But every situation is different. we all thought Dad was going to pass away if he didn't go to the emergency room. We left that decision up to Dad. He decided to go, as his blood pressure was high and he was very weak. His primary doctor told him to go 2 days before and Dad didn't want to. But then he changed his mind. So we don't even know for sure if all was done for him that could have been. We had to trust the doctors were doing their best for him.

But I decided to trust the Lord had his hand on the whole thing. He did! Dad had told me a visit before that he was putting off his decision about Jesus before he died. So I was comforted in the thought he did decide for Jesus. My brother told me Dad said, he was ready to be with Mom and go Up! I knew just what he meant by that. His brother was always irritating him with giving him the gospel his brother would say, Up or Down......I cry as I write this. Dad said Up!

As far as "Radical Center". I had suspected that whoever was posting that white supremacist crap might be foreign agitators trying to promote a race war by doing drive-by cut and paste posting such garbage around the internet on multiple forums. Craig, I'm not "taking you down a path" or otherwise trying to harass you. I'm not proposing an amendment to the constitution either.

What I was trying to demonstrate was that when conservatives say they want "originalists" and are sick and tired of "activists" judges reading into the constitution rights that just aren't there --- they do so missing the fact that the conservative majority has and does stray from the "original" meaning of the text quite often when it serves them and their interests such as the expansion of the 2nd Amendment rights well beyond what has long been the "original" interpretation of what our founders said and meant therein.

Prior to the conservative "activist" Supreme Court "legislating" the Second Amendment it had for 200 years:

A. applied only to keeping and bearing arms for military purposes, and

B. while it limited the power of the federal government, it did not impose any limit whatsoever on the power of states or local governments to regulate the ownership or use of firearms.

*I'm not trying to take away anyone's guns either. I'd just prefer Roe v Wade overturned because killing babies is wrong -- not because some hypocritical "strict constructionist" who "liberally" reads unrestricted access to guns for everyone in the 2nd Amendment yet wants to find/say there is no right to privacy whatsoever to be read into the word "liberty" in the constitution. The right to privacy involves a lot more rights than just abortion rights that I'd just prefer the states be unable to try to regulate (such as whether I can homeschool my children and grandchildren someday or they can use the birth control of their own choosing instead of the popes, etc). It's a mistake for Christians to want jurists that will completely overrule the "right to privacy" just as are losing our majority in many parts of the country.

While it may be possible, on the surface, to just dismiss these two plagiarized speeches as staff errors that Biden unwittingly parroted, additional evidence militates against it. His first line of defense for one of the instances was a claim that that was the first time he didn’t give appropriate credit for it—thereby admitting he knew it was someone else’s words he thieved without credit. He also got caught plagiarizing FIVE PAGES of text in a college paper. And he got off EASY with merely receiving a failing grade for the paper (F), as opposed to being expelled. Moreover, he boasted of having (a) graduating near the top of his class, when he was actually 76th out of 85; and (b) he claimed he had three (count ‘em) undergraduate degrees, when he had only one. Brain fart. I meant Ray. If anyone is named Rob I wouldn’t know or care. Completely coincidental.

I agree with Ray and Paul when it comes to roman catholics not be Christians. The poster that attacked them was largely intolerant of our Protestant beliefs.

I find Amy Cohen Barrett to be unqualified. Notre Dame is not an elite law school and there are far more qualified, brilliant and Protestant lawyers than her that were adequately school at truly elite institutions. I also don’t like that she is tied to a charismatic cult with ties to Rome and tues to Opus Dei.

Craig. When Biden was in Law school, trump was fabricating Bone spurs to avoid selective service. In 1987, when Biden forgot to give credit one time (where he had given credit other times), Trump was carousing about with his buddy Jeffrey Epstein while having an affair on Ivanka with Marla Maples.

The first sentence is a red herring, using 'orange man bad' to deflect away from the Biden's lies I pointed out. While you might prima facie accept his claim that the time he was caught plagiarizing another's speech was the only time he'd done so, thereby implying he'd provided proper attribution all other times, the evidence of his law school plagiarizing and his outright lies regarding his academic achievements militates against this. In fact, I challenge you: find ANY other time Biden gave credit to JFK or the British politician (I forget his name) while stumping. I double dog dare ya to find this from the 'lyin' dog face pony soldier' Biden.

I am heartened that ACB will apparently be confirmed to the Supreme Court. Among other things, I think conservative sway over the USC could potentially stave off a Green New Deal, at least to some extent. (ACB won't be able to unilaterally decide anything, of course; but pundits on both sides think she will help to shift the center of gravity of the USC to the right.)

I think Biden will win. My husband expressed last night that thinks that Trump will win. He is never an optimist. He is anything but. But he strangely has a good prediction track record, probably because his mind works automatically to think through all the details of all the options, from all "player perspectives", and his "action empathy" is very strong. I remain skeptical. We will see. I asked him why he said that. He said he thinks more things will come out in the last two weeks of the campaign. And he thinks there are problems with the polling.

Regardless, I take heart that if Biden wins, the USC could serve as a check and balance against things like the Green New Deal.

X, what do you think of the Green New Deal? Do you think it would be a good thing?

2. As VP, Joe Biden was fully aware of his son’s shady overseas deals (State Dept briefed him)

3. Hunter’s email appears to directly implicate Joe, for massive money from a Chinese oligarch

4. Fox News sources verify accuracy of the emails and Joe’s moniker

5. Joe Biden wasn’t asked about this bombshell a single time in 90 mins of a live ABC townhall

6. Media claiming “Russian disinformation” provide zero evidence backing that claim

7. Big Tech intervened to suppress the story, thus protecting Biden

8. Biden WILL face scrutiny from Trump, live at Thurs debate (unless Joe’s going to cancel?)

9. Biden has been, for decades, a lead proponent of amicable trade terms for China

10. Joe Biden said, in 2011 as our VP: “a rising China is a positive, positive development, not only for China, but for America.” Concurrently, the US was losing 3.2 million jobs to China (per EPI study)

Donald Trump is the only world leader fighting ‘climate totalitarianism’

Sky News Australia

Only those who believe in the “new religion of climate change” will have any place in the new world if Joe Biden is elected president, according to Sky News host Rowan Dean.

He said anyone even dare debate the "fundamentalist dogma" of climate change will risk branding themselves a heretic.

Mr Dean pointed to the ‘Great Reset’ a “quasi-fascist version of the Green New Deal” which is supported by the IMF, the World Economic Forum, and the UN and aims to “by their own admission” use the tools of COVID suppression and adapt them to the “so-called crisis of climate change”.

“With over 80 per cent of the world's energy still reliant upon fossil fuels, these religious zealots wish to plunge us all into some post-COVID dystopian nightmare of climate subservience,” he said.

At this point in time, the only significant world leader who wants to “halt this slide into climate totalitarianism” is US President Donald Trump, according to Mr Dean.

“He withdrew from the Paris Agreement which is the first and fundamental political and legislative block that allows parliaments to begin implementing the ‘Great Reset’.”

As an aside, Rowan speaks excellent French, with proper enunciation! I'm impressed!

A group of doctors from around the country known as America's Frontline Doctors gathered in Washington to speak out against some of the extreme measures taken against COVID-19 thus far. One America’s Christina Bobb has more.

Not only did they unite against mask usage, citing a CDC study that 85% of people who contracted CV19 "always" or "usually" wore masks, but that we shouldn't be afraid of the virus, since early treatment yields very high successful outcomes. Also, "We need to stand up and talk about Section 230. [Social media platforms] cannot be allowed to act as publishers, while still being protected by Section 230." [AMEN to that!] One doctor specifically said he used HCQ, zinc and one of two antibiotics for secondary infections, with one hospitality and ZERO deaths. Kids are scared, causing psychological effects [no surprise there, sadly]. This doctor observed that this fear has "morphed or devolved" into a "state of delusional psychosis", and he is concerned this is "moving to social control" [YES AND AMEN!]. Media has "spread disinformation...about the virus".

Does This Explain Why Facebook Was So Quick To Suppress Hunter Biden Revelations?

Does This Explain Why Facebook Was So Quick To Suppress Hunter Biden Revelations?

By Andrea Widburg

The moment the New York Post reported on some of the sleazy, corrupt details contained on Hunter Biden’s hard drive, Twitter and Facebook, the social media giants most closely connected to the way Americans exchange political information, went into overdrive to suppress the information and protect Joe Biden. In the case of Facebook, though, perhaps one of those protectors was, in fact, protecting herself.

The person currently in charge of Facebook’s election integrity program is Anna Makanju. That name probably doesn’t mean a lot to you, but it should mean a lot – and in a comforting way -- to Joe Biden.

Before ending up at Facebook, Makanju was a nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council. The Atlantic Council is an ostensibly non-partisan think tank that deals with international affairs. In fact, it’s a decidedly partisan organization.

In 2009, James L. Jones, the Atlantic Council’s chairman left the organization to be President Obama’s National Security Advisor. Susan Rice, Richard Holbrooke, Eric Shinseki, Anne-Marie Slaughter, Chuck Hagel, and Brent Scowcroft also were all affiliated with the Atlantic Council before they ended up in the Obama administration.

The Atlantic Council has received massive amounts of foreign funding over the years. Here’s one that should interest everyone: Burisma Holdings donated $300,000 dollars to the Atlantic Council, over the course of three consecutive years, beginning in 2016. The information below may explain why it began paying that money to the Council.

Not only was the Atlantic Council sending people into the Obama-Biden administration, but it was also serving as an outside advisor. And that gets us back to Anna Makanju, the person heading Facebook’s misleadingly titled “election integrity program.”

Makanju also worked at the Atlantic Council. The following is the relevant part of Makanju’s professional bio from her page at the Atlantic Council (emphasis mine):

Anna Makanju is a nonresident senior fellow with the Transatlantic Security Initiative. She is a public policy and legal expert working at Facebook, where she leads efforts to ensure election integrity on the platform. Previously, she was the special policy adviser for Europe and Eurasia to former US Vice President Joe Biden, senior policy adviser to Ambassador Samantha Power at the United States Mission to the United Nations, director for Russia at the National Security Council, and the chief of staff for European and NATO Policy in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. She has also taught at the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University and worked as a consultant to a leading company focused on space technologies.

EXCLUSIVE: Joe Biden's son emailed shop owner about hard drive to 'get it back': Former Trump chief

Sky News Australia

Steve Bannon, former chief strategist to President Donald Trump, has revealed Joe Biden's son emailed a shop owner who had his hard drive in an effort to get it back.

The revelations come as the New York Post this week released an expose detailing links between Joe Biden and his son who was paid at least $50,000 a month to sit on the board of a Ukrainian energy company who allegedly set up a meeting with the then-Vice President.

Information regarding Hunter Biden’s relationship with the Ukranian energy company was sourced from a collection of emails recovered from a laptop that was allegedly dropped off at a repair shop in 2019 and later given to the FBI.

It was a water-damaged MacBook Pro and the person who dropped it off never paid for the service and didn't retrieve it or a hard drive on which its contents were stored - according to the shop owner who said he repeatedly tried to contact the customer.

Sky News host Sharri Markson said the owner of the repair shop in Biden's home state of Delaware says when he did not hear back from the FBI, he made a copy of the hard drive and gave it to Donald Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani.

Emails on the laptop revealed that Hunter Biden had planned to introduce his father – the then-Vice President – to an executive at Ukrainian energy company Burisma, a company where Hunter served on the board of directors.

Publicly, Biden has said he's never spoken to his son about his overseas business dealings. These emails seem to indicate otherwise.

In one message sent by Vadym Pozharsky in April 2015, he wrote: "Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent (sic) some time together. It's realty (sic) an honour and pleasure."

In response to this news, Facebook and Twitter both censored the article from the New York Post, advising they were "limiting the distribution" of the story on their platforms until a third-party contractor can "fact check" the article.

Mr Bannon told Ms Markson, “Hunter Biden’s lawyer has come to us both with phone calls and with emails saying, ‘hey, I’ve got to get the hard drive back’.”

“This is not some Russian intelligence operation; they admit it’s their hard drive,” Mr Bannon said.

“We have the emails from the Lawyer, if we need to release them, we’ll release them.”

Trump tells it like it is and Europe is in many places being forced to adapt in ways that involves loss of safety and and freedom, whent hey were welcoming to these people, many of whom are disguised jihadis as ISIS has BRAGGED. there isn't a single specific racist remark in the lot cited here. you are a liar and gasslighter or an idiot. you people who hate Trump act like you are under a spell or in a trance.

As for swalling disinfectant, he never said anything resembling that. he said that a UV light optic cable put into the lungs could disinfect them them maybe since UV light kills the coronavirus.anyone saying otherwise either lied or was following the "authority" of other speakers I saw the video.

Trump didn't call Mexicans rapists, he said many were that and other evils and many were fine hardworking people. I think he should have said that first. The fact is that a criminal class is coming over now that wasn't in earlier decades or not much. Anglos who used to help people coming across theborder now find after two generations of doing this the present generation can't keep this tradition up safely.

"right to privacry" There is no swuch thingi n the Constitution, search and seizure is about being secure in one's person and perpers, against the general warrant search on speculation by the British of aan entire block, with some thefts, destruction and murder sometimes occurring. a bit more than just kickin' down doors and slappin' whores.

Griswold was about right to privacy IN A RELATIONSHIP which was then turned into an individual right to privacy which isn't relevant to abortion anyway. Otherwise you could argue this to defend anything and convert all crimes into legal actions.

Since the privacy thing was nvented on an individual bais, an army of mafiosi, perverts, pedophiles, rapists and murderers and baby killers (who eradicated time frame limits and any other restrictions on abortion, established late term abortion and now can kill those who survive an abortion and are pushing for legalizsing post partum abortion i.e., infanticide, up to threeyears old) have, with their smart lawyers, driven the decision to include non invasive mehods of searching amd even made it illegal to record what was said or done so false denial can't be made later and in general make the world safer for evil people.

while surveillance can be misused by tyrants, this whole body of law should be eradicated and redone on very minor terms.

HOMESCHOOLING HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PRIVACY. Theideaa of children as property or creations of their prents would eventually aallow every evil (incest, pedophilia, selling aqs slaves, forced transgenderism, forced arranged marriage, prostituion by parents, etc. etc.) that is traditionally a part of some societies view of things being a family matter.its okay if the parents agree to it. children are not creations of parents, that is blasphemy. They are creations and property of God, parents are just tools, with a RESPONSIBILITY to raise them right, not a right to raise them as they see fit.

Second amendment isn't just for military purposes, people should be acquainted with firearms from youth up, so they train quicker in the military. People from such backgrounds DO learn faster and better.

It does not guarantee a right of self defense, that was taken for granted, and has been eroded steadily with more and more limitations until only a few states allow defense of property. you can only defend if afraid for life or limb. "stand your ground" is a recent inflammatory term for a no retreat state.

Alleged Hunter Biden Email From Giuliani Appears Forged

More than 50 former intel officials signed a public letter saying they believe the Hunter Biden story has 'all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation'

I don't have a position on the green new deal. I'm not a climate denier and disagree with the Republican platform statement that climate change is somehow "extremism over common sense" and their nod to the Koch Brothers when they state "private ownership has been the best guarantee of conscientious stewardship". That hasn't entirely worked in the past and we are no longer predominantly a Christian nation that can rely on the goodwill of man alone to manage the affairs on their property entirely ethically and without any regulation and community oversight. We are going to pay for the Trump administrations shredding of regulation after regulation for years to come.

On the other hand, I don't think the US is socio-politically capable of undertaking some overstated broad new green deal either and that some of it is just window dressing (like the illusion of windmills and biomass plants being able to eliminate entirely coal-burning plants without consequences of their own).

I believe we have a problem -- and God-given wisdom, driven by our responsibility to be good stewards should engage our human ingenuity to address it --- but we have to develop various newer technologies FIRST before doing a Brazil and overinvesting in the wrong plans and concepts.

Trump’s strategy is clear. His own children are brazenly trading on the Trump family name to advance the Trump Organization’s business interests. Changing the subject to “What about Hunter Biden?” becomes a way to project the corruption spotlight onto the Bidens and away from the Trumps. Plus, if the final weeks of the campaign are all about Hunter Biden, that allows Trump to distract from what are the real issues: Trump’s failed leadership, especially regarding the coronavirus pandemic; Trump’s ongoing commitment to dividing the country by race and political ideology, rather than trying to unite it; and Trump’s utter lack of character, integrity, and honesty.

According to Forbes, the Chinese government has granted 41 trademarks to companies linked to Trump’s daughter. And “the trademarks she applied for after her father became president reportedly got approved roughly 40 percent faster than those she requested before her father’s victory in the 2016 election,” Forbes reported.

Then there are the millions of dollars taken in by Trump properties around the world from people trying to “curry favor” with the president, as The New York Times put it. A Times investigation found “over 200 companies, special-interest groups and foreign governments that patronized Mr. Trump’s properties while reaping benefits from him and his administration.” It all amounts to ”a system of direct presidential influence-peddling unrivaled in modern American politics,” the Times said.

Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has also benefitted from Trump’s presidency. As the Times has reported, companies owned by the Kushner family got millions in loans after a White House meeting with Kushner. Everyone involved denies any impropriety, but the appearance of conflict is there.
