Fret not because of evildoers neither be envious of the workers of iniquity, For they shall soon wither like grass, and fade away as the green herbs. Trust in God and do good; dwell in the land, and seek after faithful- ness. Trust in the Lord and he shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your right- eousness as the light, and your judg- ment as the noonday. Seek the Lord and pray before him; envy not the man who does evil, and prospers in his way. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; fret not yourselves in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who trust in the Lord shall inherit the earth.

In a report written by Anita George-Ares and James R. Clark for Exxon Biomedical Sciences, Inc. titled "Acute Aquatic Toxicity of Three Corexit Products: An Overview" Corexit 9500 was found to be one of the most toxic dispersal agents ever developed.
COREXIT, SALT WATER AND OIL DO NOT MIX WELL TOGETHER According to the Clark and George-Ares report, Corexit mixed with the higher gulf coast water temperatures becomes even more toxic.
The UK's Marine Management Organization has banned Corexit so if there was a spill in the UK's North Sea, BP is banned from using Corexit. In fact Corexit products currently being used in the Gulf were removed from a list of approved treatments for oil spills in the U.K. more than a decade ago. The Environmental Advisory Service for Oil and Chemical Spills at IVL, Swedish Environmental Institute, has, upon request of the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency evaluated Corexit extensively and recommended it not be used in Swedish waters.
The Swedish study concludes: "The studies suggest that a mixture of oil and dispersant give rise to a more toxic effect on aquatic organisms than oil and dispersants do alone... The research on toxicity of oils mixed with dispersants has, however, shown high toxicity values even when the dispersant per se was not very toxic." A report for the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation Division of Spill Prevention and Response concluded that Corexit actually inhibits bacterial degradation of crude oil. It may look good on the surface but it will take longer for natural bacteria to eat up the crude oil.
BP with the EPA's approval continues to pour Corexit into the gulf with no science to estimate the harm the gusher's load of dispersed oil will cause the water column, because they lack sufficient and fundamental data on how dispersants affect the oil, what creatures live in deepwater ecosystems, how laboratory flask toxicity tests translate to actual conditions in the ocean, and how oil and Corexit affects organisms over time.
The real problem is not the dispersants themselves but what the chemicals do to the oil. By itself, oil is more toxic than dispersants alone, but together oil and Corexit is far more toxic. I can only assume the EPA approved Corexit because they thought diluting the dispersed oil and Corexit will mitigate its increased toxicity.
EPA's crap shoot is that more toxic but significantly diluted dispersed oil/Corexit crap floating is better than concentrated oil slicks washing ashore. From my point of view, it's a lazy, easy and irresponsible approach. Note Sweden does not even allow dispersants. In case of a spill in Swedish waters, only mechanical extraction and vacuum is allowed.
Lab toxicology tests (flask tests) that are the whole foundation of Corexit's approval neglect one variable that organisms encounter out on the ocean's surface - sunlight. Transparent organisms such as planktons and crustaceans called copepods react to ultraviolet light from the sun. The reaction promotes photochemical degradation of aromatic compounds from oil that the creatures have absorbed or swallowed. The degradation results in oxidized molecules that are more toxic than the original oil compounds.
ARE U.S. WATERS MORE EXPENDABLE THAN SWEDEN OR THE UK'S WATERS?
The simple question I ask is: If the UK bans Corexit and Sweden recommends against it, why are we using it on American waters?
There is no other explanation for the crop damage.
This is all part and parcel of what is already seen. It is move certainly toward IOT and part of the ever shifting of lines. Recommendation 666 clearly indicates push towards such control and is part and parcel to the "immigration" politics and what will come of it. The arizona law is again moving in said direction. Recognize that we already have been down a long road of conditioning, most of which has occurred in my lifetime. The move was from cash to checking. Then credit cards, then check cards and cashless banking. Attempts made at various locations that failed to add biometrics (Cub foods trying to tie accounts to fingerprints failed.) It will all come down to a matter of convience and the appearance of being innoucous. There should be no shock at such things, as we are in a time of ever building the frameworks to that which is to come. Just be aware and remember that God is our Rock and Sheild. Whom shall we fear?
Anonymous 11:44 Where do you stand on the lack of action on the part of the DC establishment. They apparently do not feel as you do as they have not used help from other places and have stood in the way of action being taken by the states who are affected.
If you are honest in your feelings, you should be screaming form the highest building around you, writing letters and publicly condemning their actions.
Somehow just reporting what you see as the extend of the problem without blaming who is causing it seems weak to me.
Well Dorothy, according to an article in the Guardian back on May 20th, quite a few people (with a lot more clout than I've got) have been 'SCREAMING' about this.
The Obama administration has ordered BP to use a less toxic form of chemical dispersant to break up the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
The decision, first reported in the Washington Post, comes only hours after Congress heard devastating testimony from BP executives and scientists on the high toxicity of two forms of Corexit, and their relative ineffectiveness against the type of crude now polluting the Gulf. The two versions of the chemical being used on the spill are banned in the UK because they are damaging to sealife.
The Washington Post reported this morning that the Environmental Protection Agency has given the oil company 24 hours to choose a less toxic form of dispersant. Once approved by the EPA, BP will have 72 hours to deploy the new chemicals.
The heavy reliance on chemical dispersants to break up the spill has raised increasing concern among scientists and environmentalists. More than 600,000 gallons of chemicals have been sprayed on the surface of the Gulf with another 55,000 injected directly into the oil billowing out of the ocean floor.
Scientists say the chemicals could be doing more for the oil company's PR, than the overall clean-up of the Gulf. The chemicals that break up the oil in small droplets help prevent giant tides of oil washing up on shore, with their disturbing images of oil-encrusted wildlife.
But they are carcinogenic, mutagenic, and highly toxic, and it is unclear how much damage they are causing to marine life in deep water – a risk acknowledged by the EPA chief, Lisa Jackson.
Corexit has never been used in such high quantities before, Jackson told Congress earlier this week. "There has been a real reliance on them, maybe more than anybody thought would ever happen." Jackson said. She added: "I'm amazed by how little science there is on the issue."
The scientists say there are more powerful, less toxic dispersants available than Corexit. Members of Congress suggested this week that BP chose Corexit because of links between the oil industry and the manufacturer, Nalco Holding. Nalco has a former BP executive on its board.
"Why would you use something that is much more toxic and much less effective, other than you have a corporate relationship with the manufacturer?" asked Jerrold Nadler, a Democratic congressman from New York told a hearing on Wednesday. The EPA had approved 14 dispersants for use on the spill, including the two versions made by Corexit.
The controversy over Corexit also exposed the Obama administration to additional criticism that its scientific agencies have been too compliant with BP. In addition to sanctioning the use of Corexit, EPA has come under fire for withholding test results on the toxicity of the water close to shore.
LOL!!!! This draft opens almost exactly the same way my first article does! I am nearly half way into this and can say with certainty that what they are discussing here is the Internet of Things, coinciding with the goals of GS1. Take for example:
An Individual is the person engaged in an online transaction. A digital identity, which is a set of attributes, represents an individual in a transaction. · A non-person entity (NPE) may require authentication in the Identity Ecosystem. NPEs can be an organizations, hardware, software, or services and are treated much like individuals within the Identity Ecosystem. NPEs may engage in a transaction or simply support it. · Individuals and NPEs are collectively referred to as the subjects of a transaction.
By identifying everything within a transaction and giving it a virtual identity, the Internet of Things becomes a reality. I am not completely through this yet, but want to state that in order for this to work in principle, other nations MUST adopt a similar system. Who is organizing this type of system on a global level? The United Nations through GS1! I will be posting more as I get into it, but wanted to share what has jumped off the page at me so far.
Yep pretty much what I thought. This document calling for collaboration within the private sector and international community is completely in line with the way GS1 laid out their goals. The descriptive graphics used are almost carbon copies of those that exist on GS1 sites, and those that appear on sites of GS1 partners. This would have been a scary read had I not already seen pieces that detailed this system and US participation in it.
First of all, let me assure you that you need not convince me of the toxicity of Corexit. I am in complete agreement with you that this chemical is extremely toxic to marine life and human life and I have read extensively about how it becomes even more destructive in high temperatures like those down here on the Gulf of Mexico.
You do NOT need to convince me of any of that, and if you go back and read my comments in the last half a dozen of so posts, you'll realize how very , very concerned and upset I am about Nalco and the use of Corexit and the governments lackadaisical attitude about BP's usage of this toxin.
The point I was trying to make, before I was attacked, was that the crop damage that the alarmists have been using as an indication that Corexit is also affecting crops, had most likely nothing to do with Corexit, and most likely had everything to do with a serious chemical vapor leak at a Lucite factory in Millington Tennessee, on May 25th. If you look at the map, you'll see that Millington, TN is quite a distance in fact from the oil spill. When I first read the SF Gate Yobie Benjamin story, I, too became very upset. That's when I did some research and found out that just two weeks before the damage to the crops at the two farms in Millington appeared, there was the chemical vapor leak from the Lucite plant, forcing evacuations in the area. Both of the farms with damaged crops cited in the link provided in the Kobie Benjamin story, were in Millington, the same town where the chemical leak occurred. Then I went on to research the reaction of scientists to the crop damage and the birds dying and they agreed that these were all signs that the birds had died from breathing the vapors and that the burns on the crops were in line with chemical burn as a result of the vapors that were released into the air that day.
I am not arguing with anything else that Mr. Benjamin said in that article and as a Gulf resident myself I am very, very concerned about what's been going on here.
So please don't point fingers at me for pointing out the Lucite leak. If you have found evidence of crop damage in any areas other than the Millington , Tennessee area, then I would love to know about them. But until you do, there's no point in further upsetting people about the horrors of using Corexit.
I have signed petitions and called my representatives here in Florida. I am doing what I can to stop BP from using antifreeze on the precious Gulf of Mexico waters and eco-system. I have posted petitions on Facebook and done posts on my own blog about this poison. What have you done other than point fingers at me?
That's what I thought Anonymous 1:14. I'm very suspicious of anyone shouting look at what's happening without attacking the crew in DC for their inaction.
Obama told them to use less toxic chemicals. Should I be impressed with that show of genius?
Many others and I will continue to hold the DC crew responsible for their lack of action as much as BP is held responsible. It is very obvious DC people want the problem to be as big as possible so they can get their energy bill passed.
With all of the other damage they've done, it is clear that they do not respect any of the citizens in this country.
I would sooner spit on them than respect them, that corrupt gaggle of people who believe they are godlike.
Anyone who voted them into office deserves a lobotomy. They are doing more to destroy the country than the oil is doing to destroy the gulf.
Jeremiah 51 is one of MANY times that Jehovah says to his people "come out of her." It's a very important point that you bring up, I think, because to "come ye out and be ye separate" is the same as saying; "Be holy, even as I am holy." The first attribute of holiness is to be separate from the world, if not continually then at least on the Sabbath. It was explained to me that the Hebrew word for holiness is "kodesh", and that kodesh is what they called the vegetables and food that was prepared; peeled and/or washed and set aside. That's holiness, and the "her" of the statement is none other than "Mystery Babylon" _"the great whore that rides on the beast," and in the more general sense, "she" is the "world" of sinful mankind.
Here's another one of the "it's the end of the world" stories making the web rounds without any reference to what the DC crowd should have done to stop the spill.

I knew there were deep problems with Thomas Merton, but I didn't realize how bad his posthumous affect on severe religious apostasy was. I knew of his influence in certain mystical Protestant circles. However, given Pope JPII's condemnation of the New Age Movement, I was surprised to find evidence far more serious than I had anticipated of Buddhist cross-pollination with Christianity -- especially the most pernicious form of Tibetan Buddhism. I am reading MERTON & FRIENDS: A Joint Biography of Thomas Merton, Robert Lax, and Edward Rice. The chapter entitled UPS AND DOWNS AND REQUIEMS is especially disturbing. I found the following on the net today:
The second Gethsemani Encounter took place at Gethsemani Abbey, Kentucky from April 13 to April 18, 2002. The dialogue was over 30 scheduled hours, with 22 presentations from Buddhists and Catholics.
The content of the conference was published under the title Transforming Suffering: Reflections on Finding Peace In Troubled Times, Mitchell, Donald and James Wiseman, OSB, eds. New York: Doubleday, 2003. Copies are available through www.MonasteryGreetings.com
Each day featured speakers who spoke on a particular theme concerning suffering. Thomas Keating and Henepola Gunaratana opened the conference, followed, on Sunday, by Joseph Goldstein, Columba Stewart, Mary Margaret Funk, and Blanche Hartman discussing suffering caused by a sense of unworthiness and alienation. On Monday, Geshe Lobsang Tenzin read a text from His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Kathy Lyzotte, Thubten Chodron, and James Wiseman discussed suffering caused by greed and consumerism. On Tuesday, Geshe Lobsang Tenzin, Dan Ward, Stephanie Kaza, and Mary Collins discussed suffering caused by personal and structural violence. On Wednesday, John Daido Loori, Margaret Michaud, Thai word for 'teacher'; often used as the title of the senior monk or monks at a monastery. Sundara, and Donald Grabner discussed suffering caused by sickness and aging. On Thursday, Norman Fischer and Leo Lefebure summed up what had happened over the course of the conference."
Thomas Keating and Basil Pennington have been bad theological actors for many years.
Merton along with Richard Foster, Henri Nouwen, Madame Guyon are heavily promoted at International House of Prayer (IHOP). This is not surprising as IHOP is very much into contemplative prayer. A look at their bookstore tells the story:
http://store.ihop.org/store/department/1/Books/
In addition, the ever so popular book by William P. Young The Shack is heavily influenced by Merton:
Again, not so surprising as the book itself was endorsed by Eugene Peterson (of The Message infamy) who is a proponent of Richard Foster (I distinctly recall this from an interview with him I read a few years ago; but, I can't find it just yet) and likely Merton as Peterson's works are usually listed in with these other contemplatives.
"The reason The Shack’s “Jesus” doesn’t want to make anyone a Christian is illustrated in the following statement by The Shack’s father-god, Elouisa: “God, who is the ground of all being, dwells in, around, and through all things” (p. 112)[panentheism definde]. In his book, Silence on Fire, William Shannon defines the two pillars of contemplative spirituality: 1. God is the ground of all being; 2. man becoming aware of that reality. So we see here that both The Shack and Thomas Merton come from the exact same spiritual perspective."
BJORN FREIBERG has an extremely important article up about Javier Solana co-chairing an important "Transatlantic Dialogue" program yesterday and today in Washington, DC. It was organized by the National Democratic Institute *NDI) with primary support from the EU delegation to the USA. They are meeting these two days to DEVELOP POLICY RECOMMENTATIONS. Co-chairs are former Secretary of State MADELINE ALBRIGHT, Jerzy Buzek, VIN WEBER (R. Minnesota) and J A V I E R S O L A N A!
Check this out. Not bad for a man such as Solana who was for so many years on the USA's SUBVERSIVE LIST.
I had to type the article manually because it is not accessible online.
In my opinion, it is "encounters" like this that are encouraging other members of Catholic religious orders to defy the Bishops and continue to promote superstitious pagan "healing" techniques.
When reading about such "interreligious gatherings such as the Gethsemane Encounter II, I have to ask if the purpose of such encounters is not to win people to Christ, then what is its purpose?
As you stated, Father Thomas Keating and Henepola Gunaratana opened the conference. Father Keating is one of the architects of "centering prayer."
Just the fact that Father Keating is one of the participants would be enough to persuade me that I should not go near a "close encounter" like this with a ten-foot pole!!!
I would like to ask ahead of time that I be forgiven for the length of this reply.
The following is an article from Catholic Culture entitled
A CLOSER LOOK AT CENTERING PRAYER by Margaret A. Feaster
The Centering Prayer Movement has become very popular in Catholic circles today. People sign up for it in retreat centers, in workshops, and sometimes in their own parish. These people believe it to be authentic Christian contemplative prayer practiced by the saints. Is it really Christian contemplation?
In my research on the New Age which I did for the past ten years, I found that it is not Christian contemplation and that this type of prayer is not recommended by Pope John Paul II, Cardinal Ratzinger, The Catechism of the Catholic Church, or St. Teresa of Avila. There have also been warnings from Johnnette Benkovic on EWTN (Mother Angelica's Network). Johnnette has a program called "Living His Life Abundantly", and has had a series on the New Age. She has also written a book called, The New Age Counterfeit, and devotes one chapter to the problems of Centering Prayer (CP). She identifies it as being the same as Transcendental Meditation (TM) which is tied to Hinduism.
What is Centering Prayer?
Centering prayer, as taught by Fr. Basil Pennington and Fr. Thomas Keating, is a method of prayer that is supposed to lead a person into contemplation. It is supposed to be done for twenty minutes in the morning and twenty minutes in the evening. The person chooses a sacred word. He tries to ignore all thoughts and feelings, letting them go by as boats going down a stream. When the thoughts keep coming back, the person returns to the sacred word. The goal is to keep practicing until ALL THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS DISAPPEAR. Fr. Keating says in Open Mind, Open Heart, "All thoughts pass if you wait long enough."1 A person then reaches a state of pure consciousness or a mental void. The thinking process is suspended. This technique is supposed to put them into direct contact with God. The idea is to go to the center of your being to find the True Self. This process is supposed to dismantle the False Self, which is supposedly the result of the emotional baggage we carry.
Fr. Thomas Keating is a monk, priest, and abbot of St. Benedict's Monastery in Snowmass, Col. and is the founder of the Centering Prayer movement. He has written four books. Fr. Basil Pennington is a Trappist monk at St. Joseph's Abbey in Spencer, Mass. He has written over thirty books, some of which are on Centering Prayer. Some of the concepts in their books are similar to New Age beliefs and practices.
New Agers borrow many of their beliefs from Hinduism. They believe that we are all connected to an impersonal energy force, which is god, and we are part of this god. This god-energy flows into each one of us; so we too are god. (This is the heresy of pantheism, condemned by the Church at the First Vatican Council). They think because we are god, we can create our own reality, experience our own god-power. This awareness of our godselves is called god-consciousness, super-consciousness, Christ-consciousness, pure-consciousness, unity consciousness, or self-realization. To reach this awareness, New Agers use mantras or yoga to go into altered levels of consciousness to discover their own divinity. They look inside to find their True Self or Higher Self — to find wisdom and knowledge since the True Self or Higher Self is god......
...How do New Age Beliefs Compare to Centering Prayer?
In CP, people are taught to use a prayer word or sacred word to empty the mind. (Fr. Keating says it is not a mantra; but if it is used to rid the mind of all thoughts and feelings, then it does the same thing as a mantra). The goal is to reach a mental void or pure consciousness in order to find God at the center. Pure consciousness is an altered level of consciousness. This is exactly what the Hindus and Buddhists do to reach god-consciousness or pure consciousness. This is also similar to what actress Shirley MacLaine does to go into an altered level of consciousness and discover her Divine Center or Higher Self, which is her divinity.
What are the Similarities Between CP and TM?
Johnnette Benkovic has interviewed people on her show and in her book who have done both CP and TM. They claim it is basically the same. The only difference would be that in TM the mantras are names of Hindu gods, and in CP the sacred word is usually Jesus, God, peace, or love. Fr. Finbarr Flanagan, who was involved in both CP and TM says CP is TM in a Christian dress. He says Fr. Pennington has endorsed TM ". . .without hesitation."3 Let's look at the similarities:
1) Both CP and TM use a 20-minute meditation.
2) Both CP and TM use a mantra to erase all thoughts and feelings.
3) Both CP and TM teach that in this meditation you pick up vibrations.
4) Both CP and TM claim that this meditation will give you more peace and less tension.
5) Both CP and TM teach you how to reach a mental void or altered level of consciousness.
6) Both CP and TM have the common goal of finding your god-center.
In regard to vibrations, Fr. Keating says, "As you go to a deeper level of reality, you begin to pick up vibrations that were there all the time but not perceived."4 Fr. Pennington also speaks of ". . . physical vibrations that are helpful"5 (Vibrations are common TM, New Age language.) Using mantras and reaching a mental void are also New Age, not Catholic. In fact, reaching a mental void is described in the Catechism as an erroneous notion of prayer (#2726). ...read entire article...
Amen to your last sentence. I am sorry if I mis-read what you had written as an attack. In truth, I have been going through weeks of serious depression over the situation in the Gulf. People have no idea how dire it is for the people living here. And I am not just talking about the oil spill itself. I am talking about the psychological repercussions it is having on people. I just learned that the majority of the homes in my neighborhood are in foreclosure right now, and this was an upper middle class neighborhood when we moved here 5 years ago. This state relies on tourism for jobs and stores and restaurants are closing their doors en masse. And consider this, I am living in an area that is considered the most immune from being affected by the spill as a result of the whip current and the continental shelf! So I can only imagine how bad it must be in Louisiana and Mississippi and the panhandle. So it is very sad what is happening and how this government is allowing peoples' lives to be ruined en masse. I saw on TV tonight that there is a huge tanker in the Gulf that can skim up the oil without chemicals and it is just sitting there silent because Obama won't grant a waiver of the Jones Act. MY GOD, this is just horrible. I have to agree with Dorothy. This administration is truly evil and the extent of how evil it is has yet to be seen!
I apologize for my harshness earlier today, but it is getting really hard to try to stay upbeat.
Paul thank you for the 37th Psalm. I read it again this evening and it brings such comfort. The bible is the only place where we can find comfort in these dark days and I think that I for one need to stop reading here, as it brings me lower to see each day dawn with ever more sobering news. No offense to Constance. It's just horrible what has happened to this country in such a short timeframe, and i don't think I can stand reading any more bad news.
God help us all be strong since we are to be the beacons of light in a dark world!
Sister Mary Margaret Funk, another participant and executive director of the Monastic Interreligious Dialogues (MID) board from 1989-2004, also has ties to United Religious Initiative.
The following is an article by Lee Penn
This is a list of Catholic supporters of the URI.
The United Religions Initiative - Vatican Opposition, Liberal Support
Reading some of the articles at the Gethsemane website, one would think that the Vatican approved of the United Religious Initiative.
Sister Mary Margaret Funk was present at the 2001 MID "Conference on Purity of Heart." The bulletin describing the conference reads:
The next night during the service Sr. Donald Corcoran read a passage about wisdom from the Buddhist Dhammapada. “Praise be to God,” she echoed. Sr. Mary Margaret Funk, the third night, read a passage from Laotzu’s Tao Te Ching. By this time I was happily (and silently) responding “Hallelujah! Om Shanti! Amitabha!” Informed sources among the hermits told me that for various reasons, the Vatican considers the worldwide monastic community to be the vanguard of Catholic interfaith exchange. I must say I felt welcomed and blessed by these “adults of religious dialogue,” who invited Brahma, the Buddha, and the Tao into their sacred liturgy in God’s house.
Other extraordinary events remain in mind: three Directors of the United Religions Initiative introduced the URI’s interfaith vision at a fortuitous conjunction: the opening day of the East-West Conference coincided with the formal signing of the United Religions Global Charter in Pittsburgh on the same day....
As I see it, if these so-called "monastic interreligious dialogues" were simply an upfront honest effort to understand the Buddhist tradition, that would be one thing. But these "monastic interreligious dialogues" seem to encourage active participation by Christians in what amounts to pantheistic, New Age counterfeits being passed off as authentic prayer.
I could go on and on, but we would be here until Christmas.
In any case, I hope that I have satisfactorily replied to your inquiry. I think you must know by now where I personally stand on this issue.
By the way, you might be interested to know that the theme for Gethsemane III in 2008 was "Monasticism and the Environment."

At the present time I doubt that the Pope's belated efforts to re-evangelize the increasingly paganized western Europe is the "beginning" of the 10 nation European Union. The 10 Nation Western European Union rose in 1948 in the form of the 10 Nation Western European Union, a military federation, the members of which under the Lisbon Treaty have weighted (proportional) voting powers in the European Union. On or about November 20, 1999, the powers of that organization were handed to one Javier Solana whose original job was created with Section 666 of the Europa coded documents (December 1998) and enhanced with a bill he introduced into the Western European Union Assembly as "Recommendation 666". Recommendation 666 was adopted by the EU formally as policy in December 2000 in Nice, France. After the EU Constitution and first vote of the Lisbon Treaty went down in flames, Javier Solana announced he was "retiring." Catherine Ashton ascended to the job that had clearly been created with a high salary obviously created for Solana, but he thought it was politically prudent to "step down." He is still playing a pivotal role in GLOBAL GOVERNANCE politics which the New Agers and globalists now claim they have accomplished under our nose by NETWORKING. See Anne-Marie Slaughter A NEW WORLD ORDER, Princeton University Press, 2004. The new Europe is distinctly anti-clerical.
You said: "...The FBI alleges that the accused spies were able to get close to a scientist working with "bunker-buster" nuclear bombs and a New York financier with powerful political ties. Yes, exactly!
According to this article dated in November, 2009, that was indeed a very high priority for Russia.
In the article: "Mr. Putin has repeatedly announced that despite the economic crisis, the Russian government will continue major funding for advanced military equipment, including nuclear weapons modernization. Russia’s military-industrial complex is busy developing high-precision and low-yield deep-penetration nuclear weapons."
I keep thinking how much Russia has to gain by this oil spill. The French alliance with Russia on energy vis a vis the purchase of the warship is interesting too. America loses bigtime in all of this. Funny how everything is starting to be interconnected.
Scrap dollar as sole reserve currency: U.N. report
A new United Nations report released on Tuesday calls for abandoning the U.S. dollar as the main global reserve currency, saying it has been unable to safeguard value.
But several European officials attending a high-level meeting of the U.N. Economic and Social Council countered by saying that the market, not politicians, would determine what currencies countries would keep on hand for reserves.
"The dollar has proved not to be a stable store of value, which is a requisite for a stable reserve currency," the U.N. World Economic and Social Survey 2010 said.
The report says that developing countries have been hit by the U.S. dollar's loss of value in recent years.
"Motivated in part by needs for self-insurance against volatility in commodity markets and capital flows, many developing countries accumulated vast amounts of such (U.S. dollar) reserves during the 2000s," it said.
The report supports replacing the dollar with the International Monetary Fund's special drawing rights (SDRs), an international reserve asset that is used as a unit of payment on IMF loans and is made up of a basket of currencies.
"A new global reserve system could be created, one that no longer relies on the United States dollar as the single major reserve currency," the U.N. report said.
The report said a new reserve system "must not be based on a single currency or even multiple national currencies but instead, should permit the emission of international liquidity -- such as SDRs -- to create a more stable global financial system."
I wonder if that "Hell-burger" was made from ground beef that came from cattle fattened on genetically modified corn - compliments of Monsanto and friends? If Medvedev starts growing horns, we will know the answer, won't we? LOL
Thank you for explaining the WEU and Recommendation 666 in the simplest of terms. I have not been able to explain it clearly with such few words, this was very helpful to me.

Obama's health-care bill "should create millions of new stakeholders in a health-care system governed by democratically established rules rather than by the fiats of private insurers," wrote Frank Llewellyn, national director of Democratic Socialists of America.
Writing in the latest issue of the socialist Democratic Left magazine, Llewellyn said "progressives" must use Obama's health-care legislation "to build support for the elimination of private insurers."

Here are several articles about Thomas Merton, Father Keating and others involved with the Monastic Interreligious Dialogue enterprise that you might find very interesting.
There is a very large naval force that has come together in the Persian Gulf and surrounding Iran. The USS Carrier Harry Truman has pulled into the area loaded for bear. Israel and the US have grouped bombers and fighter jets in many countries in the Middle East, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan and others. Over the past week USS warship have went through the Suez Cannel, as have Israel subs all capable of launching a Nuclear Attack. And if Iran has already obtained or developed a nuclear warhead this thing will certainly go nuclear bringing the world into a global war. In fact, if Iran goes to the nuclear option Israel will have no choice but to take out Syria, Hezbollah (now all of Lebanon) and the Hamas in Gaza, and also Egypt if it tries a sneak attack, in short order or face terrible civilian causalities.
While most people are concerned and closely watching the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and justly so all hell is about to break lose around the world if Iran is attacked. Another decoy or if you will smoke screen is the change of command in Afghanistan that has also found 24/7 coverage in the media news. To put it bluntly, folks we are in deep trouble and if you haven't made your peace with the Prince of Peace Yeshua you are in even worse trouble, if you haven't prepared and stored some water and food, made some arrangements for your family all I can say is shame on you. If you are Jewish and you haven't bought that air plane ticket to Israel, shame on you as well.
We always hope and pray that once again this is just the kid shouting wolf, wolf but I am afraid the wolf is here, and all that fire power now gathered in the Persian Gulf is far greater than anything we have ever seen in the past, this is just plain serious and explosive. It is very obvious that Iran cannot be threatened or bluffed, and sanctions have no effect, leaving only the military option, so here we go.
Sorry, folks, I should have looked a little further.
BEIRUT, Lebanon, June 30 (UPI) -- It's a conspiracy theorist's dream. For the last two weeks there has been a crescendo of reports that Israel and the United States are preparing for war against Iran.
On the face of it, they appeared to indicate that war was just around the corner. But they don't stand up under closer examination.
On June 19, the Arabic language newspaper Al Quds Al-Arabi, published in London, reported that the U.S. Navy battle group headed by the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, had sailed south through the Suez Canal into the Red Sea the day before.
On June 22, the Israeli Web site Debkafile, which is reputed to have links with Israeli intelligence and a widely suspected purveyor of disinformation, reported that the carrier group had "secretly" exercised in the Mediterranean off Israel to intercept missile attacks against Israeli and U.S. targets June 10-18.
Debka said the U.S. and Israeli governments didn't announce these drills, which also involved the Truman's 60 F/A-18E/F Super Hornet strike jets simulating bombing attacks using the firing range at the sprawling Nevatim Air Base in the Negev Desert.
But such exercises are nothing out of the ordinary, even though the timing may have seemed somewhat sinister.
Report: U.S., Israeli warships cross Suez Canal toward Red Sea
Egypt opposition angered at government for allowing the fleet of more than 12 ships to cross Egyptian manned waterway, Al-Quds Al-Arabi reports.
June 19, 2010
More than twelve United States Naval warships and at least one Israeli ship crossed the Suez Canal towards the Red Sea on Friday, British Arabic Language newspaper Al-Quds Al-Arabi reported Saturday.
According to the report, thousands of Egyptian soldiers were deployed along the Suez Canal guarding the ships' passage, which included a U.S. aircraft carrier.
The Suez Canal is a strategic Egyptian waterway which connects between the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea.
According to eyewitnesses, the U.S. battleships were the largest to have crossed the Canal in many years, Al-Quds reported.
Egyptian opposition members have criticized the government for cooperating with the U.S. and Israeli forces and allowing the ships' passage through Egyptian territorial waters.
They said they viewed the event as Egyptian participation in an international scandal, and added that the opposition would not sit with its arms crossed while the country allowed a fleet of U.S. and Israeli military ships to cross.

"Big Sis" Janet Napolitano encouraging Americans to report what they see...
'See something, say something' drive begins in NYC
The Associated Press July 01, 2010
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano is launching a national "see something, say something" campaign in New York City.
Napolitano will make the announcement Thursday in Penn Station, the nation's busiest train station. The campaign is part of a national information-sharing partnership with Amtrak.
The slogan was inspired by the New York transit system's admonition to traditionally mind-your-own-business New Yorkers. It was instrumental in the foiled Times Square bomb plot when a street vendor noticed smoke wafting from a vehicle and reported it to police.
Napolitano also will swear in John Pistole as administrator of the Transportation Security Administration. He is a former deputy FBI director who was confirmed by the Senate last week to fill the top TSA job.
Susanna, what a cockamamie operation in Austin, TX. Those given the strange symbolisms and promoting reverence must be joking. They have a building so they must be getting suckers. Maybe I'll start a religious group. I'll hold up a cup of water and a staff of wheat and go from there.

"LONDON – The Methodist Church of Britain voted on Wednesday to boycott Israeli-produced goods and services from the West Bank because of Israel’s “illegal occupation of Palestinian lands.” “A majority of governments recognize the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories as illegitimate under international law,” the church body said at its annual conference in Portsmouth. The motion stated that the boycott of goods “from illegal Israeli settlements” was in response to a call by the World Council of Churches – which advocates divestment from Israel – and by Palestinian civil society and “a growing number of Jewish organizations in Israel and worldwide.” “The Methodist Conference notes the call of the World Council of Churches in 2009 for an international boycott of settlement produce and services and the support given for such a boycott by Christian leaders in Palestine in the Kairos document, Palestinian civil society and a growing number of Jewish organizations both inside Israel and worldwide and calls on the Methodist people to support and engage with this boycott of Israeli goods emanating from illegal settlements,” the church said."

** How long before the Methodist/replacement 'theology' churches begin to demand this form of persecution against God's people here in America? I'm very disturbed by this. **
Constance's comments about Thomas Merton got me to thinking ( LOL a dangerous prospect ) and I recalled working on a story with the late Carrie Tomko having to do with the subject of Thomas Merton's reported involvement with Sufism and with Rene Guenon.
At the time, I was unable to find anything to indicate that Merton personally knew Rene Guenon, but I later discover that Thomas Merton did personally know Marco Pallis who was not only a disciple of Rene Guenon, but also of Ananda K. Coomaraswamy, and Frithjof Schuon -all of whom Pallis knew personally.
Rene Guenon, Ananda Coomaraswamy and Frithjof Schuon were all cofounders and proponents of the "Traditionalist School."
FYI, Coomaraswamy was involved with Aleister Crowley if Crowley's diaries are to be believed.
Schuon was a dirtbag and had the worst reputation of the three. Thomas Merton was nevertheless among his admirers.
In a letter to Marco Pallis, who introduced Merton to Schuon, Merton sang Schuon's praises:
Pallis introduced him to the writings of Traditionalists/Perennialists such as Guénon and Schuon. In a letter to Pallis, Thomas Merton wrote the following, concerning Schuon: "In reading Schuon I have the impression that I am going along parallel to him, and once in a while I will get a glimpse of what he means in terms of my own tradition and experience. I think that he has exactly the right view. I appreciate him more and more. I am grateful for the chance to be in contact with people like him." For further comments on Schuon and other insights shared with Pallis, readers may be referred to Merton's book The Hidden Ground of Love. ...
Constance is perfectly justified in being disturbed about " Buddhist cross-pollination with Christianity -- especially the most pernicious form of Tibetan Buddhism" because the most pernicious forms of Tibetan Buddhism involves ritual sex and black magic!!!
But I digress....
In any case, it was while I was re-investigating the aforementioned ties between Merton and the Traditionalist School that I came across the CHURCH OF CONSCIOUS HARMONY - which is directly tied in with the Monastic Interreligious Dialogue conferences hosted by the Abbey of Gethsemane and whose membership includes all the usual New Age suspects.
YesNaSpanishTown is right in pointing out that the Church of Conscious Harmony promotes Gurdjieff who is known for the Fourth Way and also uses the enneagram (Ouspensky).
Unless the creatures running the Abbey of Gethsemane are very good at deceiving their bishop, I don't understand why Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz doesn't put a stop to the New Age activities reportedly being conducted at Gethsemane under the guise of "interreligious dialogue."

I had seen this piece from Castro, while a nut job in his own right he does have some interesting observations. His assertion that such a conflict will immediately escalate to a nuclear level echoes what we have heard from neighbors of Iran. It seems that this conflict is now imminent, and I shudder to think of what opportunity will present itself as a result of a crisis of this proportion.
I have been wondering when this would drop. The EU has been pushing back on the SWIFT agreement for years, all of the sudden they have changed course. For those not familiar, this is a agreement on the sharing of banking data between the EU and US. The public face has been that this was for intelligence agencies to help fight the war on terror. The reality is that SWIFT is a sub sect of World Bank, trying to integrate financial data streams across the world.
Truthfully I am not sure what caused this about face from Europe. My only speculation is that enough of the whole of the system was emerging that it became a necessity to get this finalized. For those who have seen this agreement get shot down in the past, you should understand how big of a development this is in the process of transatlantic economic integration.
Oh my goodness!!! I am so sorry for the accidental multiple post!!! Please forgive me. It was not intentional at all.
Constance, by all means delete the superfluous posts if you can.
I had a problem posting earlier. When it wouldn't come up I had to save it and close my computer down because I had to run out and do errands. I am just coming back online and (LOL) was going to try to post it again when I discovered to my horror that it had already come up...FOUR TIMES. Good thing I looked.
The devil must not have been too happy about my expose.
"11 Russian spies" 11 is an Illuminati number (see also: "11 killed" when oil rig first blew in the Gulf). It's a message to the Illuminati minions: "we did it." If you want to see where this is all headed, read or re-read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand (she was the mistress to Illuminist Philipe Rothschild), which is the BLUEPRINT for the takedown of America. It's all happening now before our eyes (Fun Fact: Rothschild saw himself as John Galt, and Rand saw herself as Dagny Taggart. Now CFR member Angeline Jolie will play Dagny in the upcoming Atlas Shrugged movie, slated for this year---predictive programming? You betcha. Come, Lord Jesus.
W - O - w !!! Your disturbing scoop to us of UN recommendation to scrap USA dollar as sole reserve currency. This is huge and disturbing news! I will share this on the radio tonight. Could you call in during the program, 888-747-1967 tonight? Scott Herrmann is on tonight, but we need to hear directly from you on this one!
This is interesting in light of the fact that Russia has been pushing for the ruble to become a global reserve currency in order to "reduce the dollar’s dominance and make Moscow a global financial hub."
If the UN gets it's way with what they are suggesting here, we will probably wish the Ruble was the reserve currency. I have sent you a email with full details including a very important UN document.
I did not catch the show, and unfortunately the video will not play for me on the Fox site. Every other one is working fine though. I will try later to recheck it and see if I can answer your question a little better. If you happen to find a working version or can find a transcript, please post it and I will take a look.
I am contemplating returning to full time research, writing, and speaking with part-time practice of law. I have several excellent books in me, but combining two very different careers of law and writing both full time in and of themselves, is difficult. There is a brilliant young attorney in my present building willing and able to assist me. My lease expired two years ago in the professional building where I have been for the past 17 years. It has been nearly 22 years since I returned to the full time practice of law from a busy 7 years of educating the Christian and other public about the hidden dangers of the New Age Movement. I need your prayers and suggestions on this. My office building has been recently sold and a large obstetrical firm would like to take over the floor in my building where I have been the past 17 years.
Things are breaking so rapidly, I feel I need to devote more time to them than full time practice of law allows. Further, I have never been the world's greatest business person. I have always had trouble asking people for money, even for legal services excellently delivered and well earned.
I appreciate your suggestions. Our house, frankly, does not have room to house my library and remaining papers (many of the older ones are now archived at the University of Michigan's Bentley Historical Library in Ann Arbor, Michigan). If there are suggestions where I could go and spread out my work in the metropolitan Detroit, Michigan area or environs, I would appreciate knowing that as well.
here are the names I got (spelling may be wrong) David Barton, Jim Garlow, Richard Lee, Robert George, Dave Stone, Tom Mullens, Ralph Reed, John Hagee, Stephan Browden.
Hey, guess what, I've got an opinion on Mel Gibsons latest hateful rant. His problem is not just that he's a misogynist and a racist, but his problem is even deeper than that. He long ago bought into a whole gnostic re-writing of the Bible, which led him to the Freemasons. Freemasonry is showing us all it's real fruit in the person of Mel Gibson.
Constance, I would very much like to see you back into fulltime research and speaking across the country on the hidden dangers in the rainbow. I have learned so much from your research since 1982 when I first read your first book. You led me to so much of my own research. It has been so good being aware of what is going on and what to stay away from and it has encouraged me to stay strong in my faith in Jesus Christ. I dont have a lot of money but I would support you with what I can every month. I will pray for you on this.
I won't claim to know what would be best. The financial end is something only you could make a decision on, and I would suggest seeking guidance on that. That being said, I think I can safely speak for most in saying that there would be great benefits to others if you decided to do so. I know there are many here who would support you in the decision as well.
If this is what you are feeling led to do, then by all means do it. If not, I think you will find most will be equally supportive. If I can be honest, when you brought this up in our conversation last night (sorry I needed to let you go so abruptly) there was a tone of relief in your voice as you were telling me about it. This alone might be a good indication of what you should really consider.
Let's see if I can do begin clarifying who some of these fellas are and who they link to. John Hagee needs no introduction, and I think most know who he is involved with, so I feel safe skipping him.
David Barton runs a organization called Wall Builders. from their over view: WallBuilders is an organization dedicated to presenting America's forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on the moral, religious, and constitutional foundation on which America was built. In itself this doesn't sound too bad, but in looking at their stated goals some of the key tenets of dominionism begin to rear their head. Looking at their partner links we get a better idea of the web they are a part of.
I know I need to get writing on some stuff, but want to remind everyone of something before I actually get it fleshed out. This pertains to organizations like Campus Crusade and such while rooted in dominionism and some new age twists like in IV. REmember there are those who buy into the twists and there are those who cannot see and really are serving God. There are the twisted and there are those seeking truth. Take the national prayer breakfasts for example, nationally and in varied states. Most are innoncent and unaware and seeking God. I had gone to a MN prayer breakfast a couple times.
Let me give you a good example of this in MN. As you may or may not know a major nurses strike was averted via compromise. There were nurses with a distinct agenda on "staffing ratios." The leardership did what they could to agitate the rank and file nurses, convince them of what they were advocating. Some felt intimitated to speak up or go a different route. But yet, there was resistance and a strike avoided because people stood in the way and went contrary. Yet, a good number still just do not know different than what the union told them. In the same way, some well meaning folks are sleeping and deceived, and then there are those who are deceivers. We will find this spread through out all. None of us are immune. For example John Piper taking sabbatical to deal with pride. Francis Chan leaving church to step out of limelight of fame. And there are always folks looking to tear down and destroy. The blog that helped nurses feel not intimidated and willing to cross was libelously attacked. Here in Minnesota a Lutheran pastor who has same sex attraction temptations was outed because of his stand against homosexuality.
There are differences folks, so lets watch, be discerning, and speak truth in love. Be wary of pride and lose not our first love. As the battle against deceit and darkness only grows stronger. We must find and build ways to support one another and sound the call for others to wake up like King in TOlkein's tail who was lied to be wormwood.
This blog serve a purposes of bringing truth to light. I support and pray for constance in her endeavors. Constance, do follow what God leads, and he will provide. He provided for Elijay, does he care for you any less? Blessing all, sorry if this got a bit tangential and rambling but the words I think were important and hope the association is fully clear.
From someone who has been an independent consultant for almost 30 years I understand the issues you're dealing with. It's not an easy decision and I will be praying for you. I believe God is using you in a special way for the days we live in and believe He will make a way.
I, like many, believe we have turned the "corner" and are moving quickly toward the Lord's soon return. Global issues are emerging that are rapidly taking us toward a godless, man-made new age. Your voice and expertise is needed as a watchman on the wall to the rest of us. If you believe God is directing you to make this change, I encourage you to move in that direction. Often, we don't fully see God's plan or His provision until we make the decision to walk through that new door.
All of us who believe God's Word and that He is coming soon should be focusing our energies, time, and resources toward building His kingdom -- what matters most.
Thank you for your input as I think through this decision. I really feel that I need to have my hands back on this much more than I have been able to do through the years I have been practicing law full time. I could still handle part-time practice of drafting wills, handling traffic cases, including drunk driving cases, and possibly seek some part-time magistrate work at a local court should a vacancy arise. During the years I was politically active (before I discovered the New Age Movement and started reporting on it) that would be easy; but like many other things, those appointments are political. Pray for me on this.
I completely agree that there are many who are simply attempting to live in faith and service that are coiled up in many of these groups. While I could never associate with them given my knowledge, I could never fault individuals who are trying to live obedient lives that just happen to get caught up in the flatteries and fallacies.
The leaders of these type of groups are a different story. They are on the hook for the deception they promote, and while it is not my place to judge them, it is mine to expose them. It has always been my hope that by exposing the inherent deception, some of the leaders may come to repent of their complicity. This same hope extends equally to men like Strong, Gingrich, Yunus, or any of the Rockefellers to name a few. Of course some of those I have listed know EXACTLY what it is they are doing, right on down to who they truly serve. That still does not change my hope for them.
Sorry for the break, dinner was calling. Mullins is Pastor at Christ Fellowship a church which teaches the power of visualization. Mullins wrote a book titled The Confidence Factor on the principles involved. Christ Fellowship also has a youth program called J1TEN. Their description speaks for itself: J1TEN is based on the Bible verse Jeremiah 1:10 where God calls a generation to stand up, overthrow, build and plant. We believe that God is unleashing a generation of young adults who are known by love, live by faith and bring hope into a broken world.
Mullins gets glowing support from Billy Graham, James Dobson, the TBN crowd and many others.
Ralph Reed is pretty interesting. A former director of Christian Coalition, Reed has had ties to Pat Robertson, David Duke, Doug Coe, and more notorious names than you can shake a stick at. Scandal has followed him every where he has gone, including ties to disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Reed has touted Rudy Giuliani, Newt Gingrich, James Dobson, Tom DeLay, and Jesse Helms as allies.
This guy is literally all over the map. Both politically and in religious circles, typical of someone tight in the Family.
While all of these things are hardly a conclusive investigation into Beck's line up or any reasoning for such, it does leave me scratching my head. Some of these guys are not exactly what I would hold up as shining examples of faith in America, or the morals that such is supposed to represent. There are under lying themes that seem to run between all men, including that all are involved with groups that teach some form of a Dominion theology.
Whether it be of Doug Coe and the Family variety, or of New Apostolic Reformation. Of course these groups have been converging together lately, along with Emergent theology. I am not sure how to summarize how I feel about this, I can say good is not a descriptor I would use. I hope this helps, or gives you at least a glimpse at what you were looking for.
What is going on is number one the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. Number 2, the other thing that's happening (as mentioned in Bible prophecy)is the implementation of all the New Age Movement's goals.
Sometimes when I read things like the Huffington Post, there is a sense that liberals and "progressives" are disappointed in Obama. I always thought Obama has had an agenda similar but different from other liberals. It is apparent to me that his agenda is establishing global governance using whatever avenues he can find. Does he really care about the environment, unemployment, and other issues? I don't know how much he cares, but he certainly is using these issues as reasons to push this global agenda.
What a hard decision to make between a professional law career (which I'm sure is useful for paying bills) and getting the truth out about what is happening in the world. I wish I had an easy answer. At least there are others here who can help seek out information (and very capable); there's too much for one person to handle. With prayer I'm sure the Holy Spirit will guide your decision.
Thanks the only I knew about was Ralph Reed. I just wondered about the connections. Why is Beck promoting them? I think he has had on Barton on every Friday during "Founding Fridays". Beck introduced him as "maybe the most important man in the country" and "the man who will save this country"
I saw several of the Barton books on Amazon not too long ago fairly cheap, so I ordered them. They just arrived last week, so maybe I'll make reading them a priority this weekend. I'll for sure look at them with a critical eye.
You're guess is as good as mine on why Beck may be supporting these guys. If I had to guess, it may be Beck's relationship to the National Tea Party groups (not to be confused with the local groups) that are now bedding down with NAR, Coe's dastardly bunch, and a literal who's who of false teachers. There is political representation from this bunch in the form of Palin, and I have seen things from Beck that gush over her. This is nothing more than speculation at this point, but if I had to guess it would be that Glen is probably tighter with this group than we realize. I would love to see someone take this up as a investigation as right now I have too much I am working on to devote the proper amount of time to it.
Study: Cell phone radiation contributing to decline of bee population
Scientists are abuzz over a new theory that cell phones are killing off bees.
The study found that radiation from the widely used communication devices is having a negative impact on the honey-making insects.
Researchers at Panjab University in Chandigarh, India, placed cell phones by a beehive and powered it up twice a day for 15 minutes over a period of three months.
During that time, CNN reports, the scientists found that honey production stopped, the queen laid only half as many eggs and the size of the hive shrunk dramatically.
"Increase in the usage of electronic gadgets has led to electropollution of the environment," wrote Ved Prakash Sharma and Neelima Kumar, the authors of the report in the journal Current Science.
"Honeybee behavior and biology has been affected by electrosmog since these insects have magnetite in their bodies which helps them in navigation," the pair wrote.
According to the United States Department of Agriculture, last year the bee population dropped 30.
One scientist suggests a minor change in the frequency of cell-phone transmissions could help solve the problem.
"It's possible to modify the signal coming from the [cell] phones and the base station in such a way that it doesn't produce the frequencies” that disrupt insects and their ability to navigate, Andrew Goldsworthy, a biologist from the UK's Imperial College, told CNN. "They could do this without the signal losing its ability to transmit information."
Agriculture Department data show the bee population has been on the decline for several years, in what scientists call "colony collapse disorder." It has been occurring around the world, with possible theories on what’s causing the phenomenon ranging from viruses to parasites, insecticides and malnutrition.
I don't know much at all about your personal circumstances, but I concur with JD and want you to know that I will certainly keep you in my prayers as you try to discern where the Lord is calling you.
Revelation 13 describes the Anti Christ's kingdom as being one economy, one religion, one government. With the signing of SWIFT we draw closer to one economy. The Alliance of Civilizations is gaining ground to bring the world together into one religion. And the build up of military in the Persian Gulf is serious. Will there be any one who can calm escalating tensions? Perhaps a global government with a diplomatic and skilled leader can bring peace to the world....
Let's not forget the UN's calls for a single reserve currency, or that this call is completely relative to the examples you cited. No one can claim that the issues discussed here over the last few years have had no weight. We are seeing the perfect culmination of every subject discussed here since I have been posting. All of which are indicating a global control system unlike anything we have ever known.
It is interesting that those who gleefully have proclaimed a world teacher on the horizon are now saying his emergence is imminent. Meanwhile many Christians who in the past would be decrying the rise of a antichrist are eerily silent and the face of "the church" is now calling for every one to come together.
I imagine another reason the church is eerily silent is because they are blinded by the fact that the rapture has not yet happened. Therefore, this can't be the rise of the AC because we're still here.
If we are wrong and we're not "in the middle" of this, I am still hopeful for a pre-trib. Who wouldn't want to escape!
Hope for the best; prepare for the worst. But I am more convinced daily that we'll be in it.
Facebook has begun testing face detection technology for Facebook Photos. This is the first of what seems like a series of new features for its popular photo product. The tests, which some users will see starting today [Friday], focus on decreasing the tediousness of "tagging" friends in Facebook photos. In the current Photos feature, users upload photos, click on each face in a photo, tag that photo with the friend pictured therein and continue the process until the album is tagged. If you've got a large album or a lot of friends in a single photo, this process is inefficient and tedious. To solve this problem, Facebook has implemented face detection technology that will automatically find faces in photos and select them, eliminating one of the most tedious steps in tagging Facebook friends in photos. Your friends are already selected by the software -- all you have to do is answer the Facebook prompt, "Whose face is this?" The technology is the same as the facial detection technology most digital cameras use today. While the tech itself may not be all that new, it is a clever and very welcomed addition to the Facebook Photos feature set.

I have voiced my concerns over Facebook and other social media many times here. Not the least of which include the actual owners of these companies and the groups which they sell information to. This however should be enough to make everyone shudder.
I have made comments in the past regarding the traditional pre-trib view and the thought that it may be by design for this purpose. Before I get railed, I want to state that I understand the view and even at one point held it and do not think less of those that do. I have though been confounded by the source of the view, how relatively new it is, and how tightly it is aligned with those who proclaim false doctrines. Again I am not stating anything, just voicing what about it at times has left me scratching my head.
Spanish Town, Not all of God's children slumber. There are the bridesmaids that are standing in readiness, eagerly awaiting His return. All the while, life responsibilities required of us press in upon us day in and day out. While it is amazing to consider the posibility that our Lord Jesus is at the door as we speak---until that great day, we wait in readiness and act in the day that we hear of this or that. As to the sufferings of the saints, the cup of God's wrath is filling up- far exceeding the blood spent lives of His children who are dying for their faith in Him. Should we see such suffering ourselves, we need to be prepared and equipt with the truth of God in our hearts- holding up the truth of His goodness and greatness always- in all things- at all times. The following is a wonderful encouragement to us- His children. With a right perspective on suffering, we are made strong in our fight of faith to the end of this life- this side of heaven. Today and everyday we are preparing for His return---and tonight- we prepare for yet another a day of rest and worship of Him tomorrow.
Oil on the beaches least of our worries. What you don't see is much more of a threat. Oil volcano looking more and more like fulfillment of biblical prophecy....has potential to kill 1/3 of all sea life....
"Vast underwater concentrations of oil sprawling for miles in the Gulf of Mexico from the damaged, crude-belching well are unprecedented in “human history” and threaten to wreak havoc on marine life, a team of scientists said, a finding confirmed by federal officials. Researchers aboard the F.G. Walton Smith vessel briefed reporters on a two-week cruise in which they traced an underwater oil plume 15 miles wide, 3 miles long and about 600 feet thick. The plume’s core is 1,100 to 1,300 meters below the surface, they said. “It’s an infusion of oil and gas unlike anything else that has ever been seen anywhere, certainly in human history,” said Samantha Joye of the University of Georgia, the expedition leader."
"On May 3rd, Dick Snyder, director of the Center for Environmental Diagnostics and Bioremediation at the University of West Florida, began conducting water samples on Pensacola Beach every Tuesday and Thursday because beach and health officials were only doing visual assessments. In recent weeks water samples tested positive for dissolved oil. There are molecules that are dissolved in the water that you cannot see. Some of the oil will just naturally dissolve into the water so we don’t know how much of that there is. We suspect it’s a lot. What you can’t see in the water may be more dangerous than what you can see.”"
JD, I did not mean to say otherwise, the leaders, the deception needs to be exposed. When examined and traced dominion roots beyond the current even to Henrietta Meiers, it was astounding and dumbfounding, but no matter what twists, there are always those that are seeking and serving God. I think this even Constance has wrestled with, as she has yet to publish/discuss stuff that would draw much into question. Ultmately, each of us need to walk in truth, grow in truth, expose lies, and do what God sets before us. But walk not in anger, hate, or even pride. For each of these can destroy. None of us are immmune to being ensared by the lust of flesh, the lust of eyes, or the pride of life. Each of us needs to follow God, and surrender fully to him. All the rest of this is but a triffling compared to the greatness and awesome love and power of the God we serve. In Him alone is our strength. In Him alone is our defense. He can and will see us through. Perhaps there is rapture, perhaps we will attended to as Elijah, God alone knows, but whatever happens, God has set all in motion. So we see the structures, we see evil men doing evil things, we see webs of deception entangling and ensaring. Yet, He is faithful, and He alone.
Why question what Beck does? He's a snake. He's a Mormon. He's a Pied Piper. He's about scooping up the Tea Party people and getting them in to the corral. Under control. He's about making millions and millions of dollars. If you have any discernment and listen to him for just a couple of days you identify him as a deceiver.
Charles Stanley, a man whose theology and teachings I largely admire, has as his main subject in this weekend's sermon socialism and the dark path the US is currently on.
http://www.intouch.org/broadcast/this-week-on-tv
His solution is to pray; and, he's asked believers to 140 days (I'm not sure why he chose this particular number) of prayer for this nation. He cites 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 as a Biblical example of God changing events through the power of His people's prayers.
I've heard others use this same scripture - many in the Latter Rain camp, for example - and, I have to admit, I've never been completely comfortable with this. The nation Israel was a theocracy. The US is not and never was a theocracy. On the other hand, in the Book of Jonah, Nineveh was spared destruction after the king called all of his constituents to fasting and prayer. So, will God only spare a nation (or city) if the leadership is praying in conjunction with its constituents? Remember while Lot and part of his family was saved, Sodom and Gomorrah were not.
I've never heard any Dominionist leanings in Stanley's sermons; however, he did have David Barton as part of the program. Here are notes from Intouch.org:
http://tinyurl.com/2g9nffc
Of the times I've seen Barton speak I cannot recall hearing him talk of a Dominionist mandate. Instead, he talks about our nation's Christian heritage and how revisionists either downplay it, denounce it or speak of the founding fathers of this nation as being other than Christian. I have to admit that I don't exactly know who to believe at this point; however, it's clear the country has as its roots Judeo-Christian values as evidenced by the inclusion of the Ten Commandments in our courtrooms.
However, I'm DEFINITELY concerned that Barton would share billing with the likes of Lance Wallnau. On the other hand, I see some excellent Christian programs on the largely heretical TBN here as broadcasted in San Antonio, TX.
I couldn't agree more. My point was never to say we were in disagreement on this matter, but to clarify my end of the conversation. I believe we have had enough interaction outside of this forum to properly understand where one another are coming from, but there are others who may have read the exchange and thought we were in disagreement. My clarification was as much for them as it was anything else.
I completely understand where you are coming from. Let me state for the record that I am not a fan of mass media in it's current form. There are though many who are ardent supporters of some of these individual personalities. This is why some of us see it as important to question where these people are coming from. Whether it be Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, or whatever voice has been taken up, if they cash a check from someone at or near the top of these forums of public deception we need to question their motives and never forget it is these individuals jobs to sell things to people. Many may disagree with me and that is fine, but Dawn did raise pertinent questions that I would like to see answered.
JD, I appreciate your comments on the pre-trib view. I have been surrounded my entire life with Christians who are fanatically pre-trib. I have off and on been branded a heretic amoung my own for even questioning pre-trib. I have been of a post-trib persuasion since I started studying prophecy 30 years ago as a teenager and on through Bible college. I was the only one with the exception of one professor at Multnomah that was post-trib. I have been called an "idiot", a "believer out of fellowship", you name it I have been called. I have studied pre-trib very deeply and just don't see it. I wish it was pre-trib and I still hope I am wrong and that there will be a rapture before the tribulation. Revelation 10:7 says in the days that the angel is about to sound the seventh trumpet then the mystery of God will be accomplished as He announced to His servants and prophets. Paul said in 1Corinthians 15:51 talking about the coming of the Lord "Behold I tell you a mystery" and then he says at the last trumpet. The mystery that Paul brings up is always in some way reffering to the Church. And could the last trumpet be the seventh trumpet. I would welcome any comments on Revelation 10:7 as I would really like to know exactly what it is talking about. Anyway, thank you JD for your comments. John Rupp, Jr.
I see your points and what I can offer may not completely answer your questions. While you are correct to assert that Barton does cite the Christian heritage of our nation, his Wall Builders program speaks of not only returning those principles to our nation, but going further by completely rebuilding this nation for Christ. In many cases the wording is subtle, but as you pointed out the scriptural references are often the same. I could possibly over look this as coincidence if Wall Builders did not support some of the very groups that espouse the Dominion mandates. Birds of a feather, so to speak?
While I don't see the Seven Mountains flavor here, I do see the Doug Coe and Family variety. This variety is represented in many of the groups that Wall Builders supports and in some cases works with. In some of these groups Family members have their hands directly in. As for praying for the nation, this I can completely agree with. It is up to our Father as to whether or not this nation stands, or even in what form it will. To organize outside of His will in any attempt to force a kingdom for Him is a fools errand, as it supplants what His stated will is, and interjects that of a mans.
Planting new trees is futile if the roots are already dead. If we want to fix this nation we must first till the soil and make it fertile for our morals and principles to take root. Only through true spiritual growth can we achieve a proper solution to our problems, and this is not happening in any form. Instead our "leaders" want to spray the weeds with a moral "Round Up" and plant a "Monsanto" version of Christianity. Sorry if this analogy doesn't work for you, but it was the best I could come up with for the fake, mocking, and deadly situation. As I said, this may not answer, or even be what you were looking for, but they are my thoughts.
You are quite welcome. As I stated before, I once held the pre-trib view myself and understand it pretty well. I too hope that such would be the case, but have found it goes against my understanding of scripture and how the Lord has repeatedly interacted with his children through history. I have many concerns over how popular this teaching has become, who is teaching it, and how unprepared it leaves many who adhere to it to deal with troubles that may befall them. It also troubles me how shaken the faith of some may become if they were to realize they were wrong about it, and what road they may be able to be led down as a result.
These worries do not apply to all pre-trib holders, as I know many who are prepared for the worst. However even of these people, many realize that many who share their belief in pre-trib are not.
In the midst of our gatherings today, among friends, family, the buffets, and cheaply made over priced Chinese munitions, try not to forget to dedicate some time to discussing what this day is all about, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness!
I agree that Glenn Beck is 'a snake' and a 'Pied Piper.'
To go a step further, I believe that he's a government 'tool' (a double agent).
While he pretends to come across as US vs. THEM...he is really making it easier for 'them' to identify 'us' (short of giving the government our actual names and addresses).
Thanks for your thoughts. I admit I haven't looked at Barton's Wall Builders site; so, I was unaware of the similar and subtle wording of Coe/Family Dominion. Further, I was not fully aware of his associations.
My opinion is that Charles Stanley is unaware of this as well since I can't imagine Stanley advocating any form of Dominion. I stated before of a few things I disagree with in Stanley's theology; but, these are more that he is a bit too legalistic at times for my liking.
Like you, I initially accepted the pre-trib view as those who espoused were longer in the faith than me; so, they MUST know, right? However, a few years ago as I was reassessing much of my belief system I began to look at the timing of the 'rapture.' Here's my take on it:
Revelation 10:7:
"...7But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets."
I went down the same trail you did as I studied Rev 10:7 and I looked at 1st Cor 15:51-52, 1st Thes 4:16, Matthew 24:30-31 (though this does not refer to a trumpet as the 'last trumpet'). The last trumpet mentioned in Scripture is the seventh trumpet in Rev 11:15.
Also, notice the wording in Rev 10:7 "...angel is about to sound the trumpet..." Just before the seventh trumpet is sounded the two witnesses are 'raptured' preceded by "... a loud voice from Heaven..." [Rev 11:12; see also 'loud voice' in 1st Thess 4:16]. "And they went up to Heaven in a cloud [see 1st Thes 4:17 "caught up together with them in the clouds"], while their enemies looked on." [compare to Matthew 24:30; Mark 13:26 (("At that time men will see the Son of Man...")); Luke 21:27 ((At that time they will see the Son of Man...))].
Then, on to Rev 11:13, "At that very hour there was a severe earthquake..." So, at this very same time -- the 'rapture' of these two witnesses -- there's an earthquake. For more info on this significance see Earthquake Resurrection by David W. Lowe:
http://www.earthquakeresurrection.com/
While I disagree with parts of his book and some of his conclusions, the book offers an insight differing from other pre-tribbers. {Note: Lowe is a pre-tribber, however.}
And, also, from Rev 10:7, note the words, "...then the mystery of God will be accomplished..." which I believe refers to, among other things, the fulfillment of the "times of the Gentiles" [Romans 11:25; Luke 21:24].
Going on to Rev 11:15:
15The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever."
This is the seventh and final trumpet. I see this as possibly signifying the 'rapture' event as the 'voices in Heaven' know this is the beginning of the very end.
I will address the timing of the 'rapture' in my next post.

Glenn Beck a government double agent? Where's your proof? That's quite an accusation. Who's to say your not a government double agent coming across as us against them? How do you like being accused of that?
He may be a ratings-loving media personality and loves the attention he gets, but this doesn't mean he's a government double agent.
My working hypothesis is that the 'rapture' of the two witnesses occurs simultaneous with the 'rapture' of the dead in Christ [1 Cor 15:51-52; 1 Thes 4:16-17.
Now on to the specific timing...
Going back to Daniel's 70th week to Daniel 9:27:
...in the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation... [also see Dan 11:31-32]
In reading Matthew 24 and the parallel passages of Mark 13 and Luke 21, we see the Abomination of Desolation preceding Jesus' coming; so, then we need to find the AoD in Revelation. Clearly it's either in 13:6 and/or 13:14:
6He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. [13:6]
...He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. [13:14]
Chapters 12 & 13 provide background and additional info for the whole of the Book of Revelation. The beast out of the sea of Rev 13:1-9 is the same one of 11:7 [see also 9:1-11 -- the king over the Abyss: Abaddon/Apollyon]. So, obviously, the events of the first part of chapter 11 [11:1-6] occur during the 1st half of the 70th 'week' while 11:7 onward are in the 2nd half.
If we assume that the 7th trumpet precedes all the bowls/vials, then, using my hypothesis, the 'rapture' is somewhere after the mid-point of the 70th 'week.'
Also, corresponding with this is the sequence of events of 2nd Thes 2:1-8. I believe this clearly shows that Jesus will not come until the 'man of lawlessness' is revealed; and, I believe he is not revealed until the AoD. Some may think they know who he is or hazard a guess; but, once the AoD occurs it will be obvious to discerning Christians.
Tangential to this, I see Revelation 14:14-16 as symbolically describing the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the 'rapture' of those remaining faithful, while 14:17-20 is symbolic of the destruction of all the ungodly.
Having said all this, I can still see a post-trib 'rapture' although I don't have all the answers for this view -- no more than I have all the answers for a mid-trib view!
One of the problems with a mid-trib view is the saints referred to throughout the Book of Revelation: 13:7; 14:12; 16:15.
One of the problems with the pre-trib view is that no one can pinpoint a Scripture in Revelation which points to a time for the 'rapture.' I've heard John MacArthur and (as I remember) David Jeremiah state than since the 'church' is last mentioned at the end of chapter 3 that the 'rapture' occurs "between chapter 3 and 4." And, the saints listed later in Revelation refer to 'tribulation' saints. One of the problems with this part of the pre-trib scenario is that they believe the 'restrainer of 2nd Thess 2 is the Holy Spirit -- without the Holy Spirit how would anyone be saved?
I watch the Glenn Beck show almost every day. It's an extremely informative show without being academically boring. Beck shows how we have moved gradually to the state the government is in today. Anyone who knows even a little about the New Age movement can see the NA agenda in the workings of the Progressive movement, something no one else has covered in any book or blog.
What kind of information does Beck provide? For instance, in our school history books for decades we have been given a watered down version of the Revolution in this country in the 1700s. His information has shown that it has taken people of courage to act and not just talk about what they believe. He's shown what not only the founders believed but what the people who worked with them believed.
Right now the changers work hard to turn this country into a New Age world while ordinary people sit back too pacified to even come out to a tea party meeting, too pacified to read a book, too pacified to post on any serious topic. At least Beck's followers read and turn the books he recommends to best sellers.
I've watched the Wallbuilder series. It's solid information without any push for an organizational agenda. Barton found an unfilled niche in our historical information and filled it.
Is there a chance that followers of this kind of information could be led in a bad direction? Sure. A weak chance, but sure. I don't see it happening now or anything leading up to it. The guests Beck has had on his show do not have the kind of following found in the NA movement. Are they somehow founders of a government controlled theocracy? If Barton is part of a supposed cabal, I'm not worried.
What's the alternative? Learning nothing about the history of the Progressive movement? Keeping things as they are with the general population just being frustrated with no place to go? Looking at end times symbols which is just about the same thing? (I know I'm offending a lot of readers, but I think individuals can be strong Christians without leaning on all of the symbols.) Learning more and more about Europe and its impact on the US? Reading about all of the endless front groups of the New Age movement?
What direction the strengthened backbones will go, I can't tell. At least those backbones will have knowledgeable heads at the top of them. They can provide some resistance to the takeover taking place if led wisely.
For those who may not know who I am, I've been following the NA movement, the humanist and communist front activity etc, since 1979. Those are my credentials.
Did you think there ever could be a list of 50 conservative rock songs? Well there is. http://article.nationalreview.com/281095/rockin-the-right/john-j-miller http://tinyurl.com/23lbdx6
Here's the list from National Review with a short description of each song.
Re: the 50 'conservative' rock songs. What a joke.
The lyrics must convey a conservative idea or sentiment, such as skepticism of government or support for traditional values.
Gimme a break. They've taken many of these totally out of context. And, to include a Sex Pistols track shows their stupidity. Their song Bodies is not really anti-abortion as the writer(s) of this piece claim. It's just trying to be sick and disgusting as with the rest of the tracks from this album. It's all shock for the sake of being shocking. It's all an in-joke.
Johnny Rotten/John Lydon would later write a song, Religion in which he would bash Christianity -- specifically Catholicism, or perhaps Anglicism -- on one of his later records (as the band Public Image LTD).
Craig, I don't claim to know what all of the lyrics are. I thought the article was an interesting one. Having to go all the way back to Wake Up Little Susie says a lot about the general rock scene though. The list makes up interesting reading though.
Dorothy 6:13 Bravo! Thanks for saying what I was thinking, only better! Beck is not perfect and he is not a Christian to my knowledge (The sufficiency of the Cross not being efficacious in itself to save from sin), but then again I doubt all the contributors here are Christian; However, Beck has put his life on the line to disseminate very important information concerning the corruption in Washington, DC. The Joyce Foundation is an example of his research: http://tinyurl.com/3x6j96h You don't have to be a Christian to be a patriot!
More on Beck- I listen when I can, but my wife can't stand him, which is a good sign, since she voted for O. One time I wondered, What if he is playing false, what would his goal be? He always seems to advocate non-violence. I thought, Hm, what if he wants people to be unprepared to fight back until it is too late. But that is probably crazy. In fact, I think Christ also frowns on reactionaries who are quick to take up arms against a government. In fact, I think I can learn to be more peaceable and less reactive hearing him. There are a few things about Beck that annoy me. He is cocky, but that doesn't so much bother me. I don't like when he calls O the Messiah. I know he is making fun of O and his adorers, but I don't think it is appropriate. He seems to think the USA is something almost sacred in God's plan. I question that. I thought maybe it was a Mormon doctrine, but I didn't find anything like that in my hunt. So, like Dorothy, I listen and learn from Beck.
I didn't mean to criticize you; i.e., to shoot the messenger, so to speak.
It just annoys me when someone takes things out of context to further their own agenda. In this case, it's poking fun at 'conservatives' by way of rock music. If there's one thing I know WAY too much about it's pop/rock/etc music; so, it's rather easy for me to spot this kind of stuff.
Back in my pre-Christian days I used to read the now defunct Spin magazine and there were loads of young writers trying to be 'cool' by writing really stupid things.
http://newsbusters.org/node/39839/print White House Enacts Rules Inhibiting Media From Covering Oil Spill By Noel Sheppard Created 07/03/2010 - 11:28
The White House Thursday enacted stronger rules to prevent the media from showing what's happening with the oil spill in the Gulf Coast.
CNN's Anderson Cooper reported that evening, "The Coast Guard today announced new rules keeping photographers and reporters and anyone else from coming within 65 feet of any response vessel or booms out on the water or on beaches -- 65 feet.....Shots of oil on beaches with booms, stay 65 feet away. Pictures of oil-soaked booms uselessly laying in the water because they haven't been collected like they should, you can't get close enough to see that. And, believe me, that is out there.
But you only know that if you get close to it, and now you can't without permission. Violators could face a fine of $40,000 and Class D felony charges.
What's even more extraordinary is that the Coast Guard tried to make the exclusion zone 300 feet, before scaling it back to 65 feet." More at link.
There is no doubt that Beck does provide information that no one else does. Also there is no doubt in my mind that he doesn't understand what is going on.
My first point of my question is, who is using who(assuming NAR is involved)?
Also, for me it is very difficult to separate NAR with those who just look to godly principle to govern with. This is another reason I asked.
I had already mentioned about Ralph Reed knowing about how he had been involved in different organizations, I think he may have even run for president. I forgot to mention my knowing about John Hagee but I figured he was a given.
I have been watching and listening to Beck on and off for a few years. Does he want to make money, I think he does. But I wouldn't be surprised if NAR is using or will be using him.
I guess I am just having a hard time connecting dots.
Sorry for my take over of the blog on this subject.
I guess in my mind, I always have thought someone would come along and use Ron Paul, the Tea Party, etc for something.
Constance, As far as this white house draft of this new I.D. plan I wanted to leave you with a site worth looking into for Positive I.D. Corp. in Delray Beach, FL. The inception of this company was as Digital Angel in 1999, then changed the name to Veri-chip, then now to Positive I.D. You can read all about their successes in testing and producing human micro-chip implants for glucose sensing for diabetic patients, security for alzheimers patients and even bio-terror sensing chips in the system. Study all about RFID, etc. Infact this last conference for Alzheimers that Positive I.D. sponsored, the keynote speaker was Newt Gingrich. This now makes me even wonder more what the healthcare bill that passed is talking about on pages 1001-1006 referring to some sort of electronic devices for a national I.D. registry required for all Americans within 3 years of passage of the bill. I will be watching this company every day and all their updates on the internet that they release to us. They dont seem to try to hide any of what they are working on. Here is the site. http://positiveidcorp.com/index.html John Rupp
Please beware of Charles Stanley, much of what he says is truth, but it is mixed with subtle errors. This is how Satan works, many of the televangelists speak 98% truth mixed with 2% of lies.
I mean no disrespect to you, but anyone who appears on TBN or Daystar is compromising the truth. I have heard it before:
"They are just trying to get thier message out". I remind you of:
2 Corinthians 6:14
14Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
There are plenty of good men teaching the Word and Bible prophecy who refuse to appear on these networks.
No disrespect taken; and, I appreciate your concern. While I'm aware that "a little leaven leavens the whole" I contend that no pastor or teacher has perfect theology. I will never pretend that I do (hopefully!). Certainly, if one looks hard enough it's not too difficult to find problems with any Christian's belief system. Having said that I really don't believe Charles Stanley is by any means a heretic.
We need to be careful that we don't look for demons under every rock and around every corner (and I'm not saying you are). Granted TBN is largely heretical; however, our local programming has some very solid Bible teachings (through KHCE locally) from the College of Biblical Studies in Houston (CBS):
I agree with their doctrinal statement with the exception that I am not a dispensationalist. This is not a belief to break fellowship over, IMO.
KHCE on TBN runs 3 half hour programs in a row of CBS from 5:00am to 6:30am M-F which are followed by heretic Paula White (who is trying to be Oprah, LOL). I feel CBS shines a bright light on the programming.
Not to put you on the spot... but, could you point out some of Stanley's "lies" as you put them? One example of where I depart from Stanley is his belief in the tithe - specifically that the first 10% of an individual's income belongs to the "church." However, while I find this doctrine very distasteful and it can lead to control and abuse by many, I don't believe it is one to break fellowship over.
I used to believe as you do that no good Christian should appear on TBN, Daystar or the blasphemously named GODTV; however, how far do we take this? No matter where a Christian decides to preach he is going to be amongst the heathen.
I'll give you an example. Local Christain radio here on KDRY has been very good; and, I've been blessed to have this resource. One day while listening to a program, the guest on this particular show (I forget the name and it's no longer on their programming) began to talk of 'spirit guides' to my alarm. I called the station manager, who to my amazement agreed but yet defended the program ("the program is usually very solid" - or something to that effect). This particular program continued for a bit with some good teachings -- and some decent counseling or philosophy not contrary to Christianity -- but is no longer part of their programming.
There are still some programs on this station that I do not listen to for theological reasons. Does this mean other teachers and listeners should boycott the station? My opinion: I don't think so.
JD, I recognize that, so the response really was more of clarifying. While we are on the same page but have different calls, others may not and there was someone reading that needed to hear what was said.
There's doctrinal hair-splitting and then there's things like Mormonism, which, IMO, is just heresy and a cult. Glen Beck is a Mormon. That's all I need to know to write him out of my own list of people to listen to. It's right up there with Christian Science, Freemasonry and Scientology, etc.
Please cite a source document so the information you provided can be verified.
There are/were several versions, and countless amendments, it's all so confusing (by design I'm sure). However, if I'm not mistaken, HR 3962 is the "healthcare" bill that was passed into law.
I have not found the section you refer to in H.R. 3962....granted there are so many pages, so many versions, could easily be missed or hidden.
I did find the section in the bill concerning standardized and IMMEDIATE REAL TIME electronic funds transfers, which of course must involve some form of electronic patient ID...
Just to add to this conversation a bit. Pages 65-75 of the Healthcare Bill are what I would advise others to pay attention to in regards to microchipping. While it is true that latter pages look to create a registry of Class II devices, they do not mandate the implementation of a device or the creation of a nationwide IT infrastructure. The pages I referenced however deal specifically with the creation of such a system of traceability while continually referencing recommendations made by two different Department of Health and Human Services agencies, NCVHS and ONCHIT.
It takes some digging to get to the bottom of this, but both agencies recommend the institution of a National Unique Health Identifier. In doing so DHHS has sought advice from companies like Positive ID on how to build such a system, and their documents and meetings strictly deal with a national traceability system with barcodes and RFID as it's operative form. My first few articles deal specifically with this end of the agenda, and even show where it is coming from. (it's not Obama)
Thank you everyone for your comments on microchip implants. You have given me more things to look into and research on the subject. I find it fascinating watching this Postive I.D. company. John Rupp
I say this with all due respect, but Barton and Wall Builders have organized with other groups in attempts to make a cohesive structure. For example from the Wall Builders site:
WallBuilders outreach to ministers has paved the way for exclusive Congressional Pastors' Briefings on Capitol Hill where hundreds of clergy have been impacted by some of the country's top conservative political leaders in these educational and informative sessions.
and then there's this:
To assist in the formation of sound public policy, we have established the WallBuilders' ProFamily Legislative Network. This arm of WallBuilders monitors and collects pro-family legislation from the various states in over a dozen different areas (e.g., marriage, abortion, education, public morality, gambling, parental rights) which we then make available to legislators and activists in other states at their request, thus enabling pro-family legislation to be introduced in states across America. We also support efforts by groups such as The National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) and Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation that seek to provide principled Christian leadership in diverse policy areas, including a comprehensive call to civic responsibility and a call to truth on environmental stewardship.
http://www.wallbuilders.com/ABTOverview.asp
Many hear already understand who and what is involved with the National Association of Evangelicals, but does anyone know about the Cornwall Alliance?
A major step was taken in the spring of 2000 when a coalition of scholars and religious leaders put forward an ethical statement of belief called the Cornwall Declaration on Environmental Stewardship. This declaration has so far been signed by over 1,500 clergy, theologians, policy experts and other people of faith, – including such well-known leaders as Dr. Charles Colson, Dr. James Dobson, Rabbi Jacob Neusner, Dr. R.C. Sproul, Fr. Richard John Neuhaus, and Rev. Dr. D. James Kennedy, among others.
http://tinyurl.com/3yhcvbh
The among others listed are not only sources of Dominionist theology, but many are sources of New Age ideologies being promoted in Christianity that have been discussed here in great depth. Others come from sources that skip the Christianity and go straight for New Age. Including: Dr. William R. Bright, President, Campus Crusade for Christ International, William T. Devlin, Director, Urban Family Council, Diane Knippers, President, Institute on Religion and Democracy, Janice Shaw Crouse, Ph.D., Senior Fellow, Beverly LaHaye Institute.

There are Jewish and Catholic leaders as well that I can't comment on because truthfully I don't know. We can disagree on many things, Beck may be one of them. We can agree though that the NAM has both a left and right wing. We should also be able to agree that people like Colson, Reed, Coe, and many of those cited here firmly represent the right wing NAM.
You may disagree with me on Wall Builders, I respect that and respect the years of knowledge and experience you possess over me. It can not be said though that Barton doesn't associate with the Dominionists from both NAR and the Family, and it can't be said that a group like his would not fit into their agenda. Even if it is only for triggering a nostalgic effect on the target audience. For the record I am still trying to authenticate these ties but it seems Barton also has a history of speaking for Pete Peters, a known Neo Nazi and member of Christian Identity. Barton also has advocated against the separation of church and state through KNOWN dominionist groups.
HR 3962 is only one section of the entire reform package. These were amendments Congress passed on top of the bill passed through the Senate. This was how they got through scraping the whole bill and starting from scratch, the Senate passed their version, Congress agreed upon it with these added amendments, then the Senate agreed to allow the amendments. If you notice H.R.3962 only deals with amendments that are to be applied to Medicare and Pension recipients. If you want to read what this was added onto, H.R.3590 is what you want. My page numbers were off as I was still thinking of the Senate Bill, many of the recommendations I was referencing are spread through this one. Pay attention for references to the Office of National Coordinator for Health IT and National Committee on Vital Health Statistics. If you need I can pull pages later, but search function works pretty good on this doc, you just may want to scroll up to the beginning of the section.
The deleted posts were mine, after getting error after error, Blogger decided to dump the same post four times. I think Susanna had this problem the other day.
According to Wikipedia and other sources seeking to smear Barton, he spoke to a Pete Peters group in 1991, not too long after he started his organization. That's almost 20 years ago. I'd like to point out that back then the internet was not the source of information it is now. Everyone was on their own where information was concerned. I made more than a few mistake where antisemitic groups were concerned. Readers here joined New Age groups because they had no warning. There is no one here I believe who has a spotless history where antisemitism, New Age groups, New Age individuals, leftist, far right, far left, etc. connections where seduction hasn't occurred. We have all made mistakes and hopefully learned from them.
The battle between organizations who spied on each other goes back a long way. Both sides slanted their publications, hoping their immediate followers would accept it without checking it out as checking it out took a lot of work. It still happens. Wikipedia, Snopes, People for the American Way, ACLU, SPLC, etc. are still in the business of outright lying if not just slanting to suit their agenda.
People with an agenda from the right also slant their information, but in a different way than the left. Where the left smears and slams with emotional words, the right just "forgets" to report things. The far right has tactics in common with the above mentioned leftist groups.
To slam Beck because he has Barton on is to play into the hands of groups such as http://www.publiceye.org/ifas/fw/9606/barton.html If you can't pull that piece apart line by line, you have o business saying you do research.
Beck doesn't promote religion as such. If he did, he would probably promote the Mormon religion as he is a Mormon. His goal is to promote American history, saying read the original documents and the words of the founders. He has talked about the role of minorities at the time and of women.
Based on the Christian guests he has had as well as the individuals from the academic community, I'm not about to do the Christian conspiracy thing equivalent to the "Jews run the world." No I don't think at this time that Christians are united to run the international order. Or even with the exception of the Christians I know as that game goes. I'm Jewish and have no personal need to defend Christians or Mormons.
Yes I'm familiar with the Dominion Theology crew, the Family (thanks to Constance), Pat Robertson, Chuck Colson, Jerry Falwell, Doug Coe, etc. They are not friends of Jews I know. The worst thing I see on the political level from the coalition above is overwhelming pride that has no basis. They can't even bring in the vote for specific politicians. Christian radio and television have lost power. Christians on the left have power but not control.
I fear the loss of Christian morality for this country more than anything else connected with the Christian community. If you can show the above coalition is moving Christians away from Christian morality, I'll worry with you.
I just had to share this new information! Just in the last hour I saw a headline run on CNN news at the bottom of the screen which says "The first biometric ATM bank machine has been installed in Poland". Does anyone here have any input or comment on what exactly a biometric ATM is??? I am going to start digging. I have never heard of this. John Rupp
Okay everyone, this deserves some very close attention. Go to cnn.com and scroll to the TECH headlines and there is "Biometric ATM gives cash via finger vein scan". Click and get the whole article. Make sure and read the entire article. I printed it out. I assure you this is worth looking into. This is the cooperation BPS bank in Poland. Here is the actual link for the story if you want to go to it this way.
Hmm my last comment wouldn't copy the entire accurate web address for that article. I will try again. Otherwise just do the first instructions going to cnn.com and to TECH. http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/europe/07/05/first.biometric.atm.europe/index.html?gpt=Sbin John Rupp
Beck pushes disinformation also. And he pushes the lie about Dishonest Abe, urging his groupies to come to D.C. and gather at the monument to Lincoln. That's just one of his tactics.
Some anonymous petty gossips just like to stir people up because they are excitement junkies. The commandment "Thou shalt not bear false witness" is to them a joke that stupid moral people live by. They prefer the commandment of another, that is, the end justifies the means. And what is their end? To destroy the good work of exposing evil being done on these threads.
This is worth looking into. CNN has a news article entitled "Biometric ATM Gives Cash Via Finger Vein Scan". To to cnn.com and scroll down to TECH news and click right on this title. I printed it out and make sure you read the entire thing. This is very interesting. John Rupp
I am glad you saw that article on biometric ATM's from CNN entitled "Biometric ATM gives cash via finger vein scan".
I tried to post it here for you but for some reason it wouldn't post. Biometrics can include finger prints, retinal scans, voice and face recognition, etc.
Here are a few other articles you might find interesting and informative if you haven't already seen them.

To YG @ 8:08 AM (previous thread):
How can anyone dismiss the valid points made on that link (posted at 6:26 PM) as 'hysteria'?
In a report written by Anita George-Ares and James R. Clark for Exxon Biomedical Sciences, Inc. titled "Acute Aquatic Toxicity of Three Corexit Products: An Overview" Corexit 9500 was found to be one of the most toxic dispersal agents ever developed.
COREXIT, SALT WATER AND OIL DO NOT MIX WELL TOGETHER
According to the Clark and George-Ares report, Corexit mixed with the higher gulf coast water temperatures becomes even more toxic.

Where do you stand on the lack of action on the part of the DC establishment.

A digital identity, which is
a set of attributes, represents an individual in a transaction.
· A non-person entity (NPE) may require authentication in the Identity Ecosystem. NPEs
can be an organizations, hardware, software, or services and are treated much like individuals within the Identity Ecosystem. NPEs may engage in a transaction or simply
support it.
Any thoughts on what "come out of her" in Jeremiah 51 means for us as believers?

Jeremiah 51 is one of MANY times
that Jehovah says to his people
"come out of her."
It's a very important point that
you bring up, I think, because
to "come ye out and be ye
separate" is the same as saying;
"Be holy, even as I am holy."
The first attribute of holiness
is to be separate from the world,
if not continually then at least
on the Sabbath.
It was explained to me that
the Hebrew word for holiness
is "kodesh", and that kodesh is
what they called the vegetables
and food that was prepared;
peeled and/or washed and set
aside. That's holiness, and the
"her" of the statement is none
other than "Mystery Babylon"
_"the great whore that rides
on the beast," and in the
more general sense, "she" is
the "world" of sinful mankind.
Just my two (more) cents.
Here's another one of the "it's the end of the world" stories making the web rounds without any reference to what the DC crowd should have done to stop the spill.

TO SUSANNA:
Need your expertise from this one.
"Gethsemani Encounter II, April 2002
Love to hear from you on this one.

NO, Susanna, apologize -- it is on THIS THREAD about Thomas Merton and what I perceive as VERY BAD FRUITS on several fronts.

Constance:
Merton along with Richard Foster, Henri Nouwen, Madame Guyon are heavily promoted at International House of Prayer (IHOP). This is not surprising as IHOP is very much into contemplative prayer. A look at their bookstore tells the story:
http://store.ihop.org/store/department/1/Books/
In addition, the ever so popular book by William P. Young The Shack is heavily influenced by Merton:
http://www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com/blog/?p=864
Again, not so surprising as the book itself was endorsed by Eugene Peterson (of The Message infamy) who is a proponent of Richard Foster (I distinctly recall this from an interview with him I read a few years ago; but, I can't find it just yet) and likely Merton as Peterson's works are usually listed in with these other contemplatives.
From the Lighthouse Trails link above:

A CLOSER LOOK AT CENTERING PRAYER
by Margaret A.
Some of the concepts in their books are similar to New Age beliefs and practices.
cont....
cont...
What are New Age Beliefs?
He says Fr. Pennington has endorsed TM ". . .without hesitation."3
Let's look at the similarities:

Dear YG (11:15 PM):
Your apology is most definitely accepted.
I think everyone of us is feeling a little depressed these days...with nerves raw and on edge, etc.
Lately, I find myself praying several times a day, taking deep breaths, and just saying, "Let go; let God,"
I will certainly keep you in my prayers, YG - that things get better in the area where you live...and also that you obtain peace of mind.
Take care, and please continue posting your very valuable contributions here.

Sister Mary Margaret Funk, another participant and executive director of the Monastic Interreligious Dialogues (MID) board from 1989-2004, also has ties to United Religious Initiative.

With regard to how this relates to the Russian spies, according to one article published in Chicago Now.....

Jaimes,
At the present time I doubt that the Pope's belated efforts to re-evangelize the increasingly paganized western Europe is the "beginning" of the 10 nation European Union.

Yes, exactly!
According to this article dated in November, 2009, that was indeed a very high priority for Russia.
In the article:
"Mr.

PROOF! Private insurance targeted for annihilation
Socialist group tied to President's plans to use Obamacare to create state system
A socialist organization with close ties to Barack Obama has outlined a plan to turn the president's health-care legislation into a government-run system that will ultimately eliminate private insurance companies.

URGENT, URGENT, URGENT
There shall be wars and rumors of wars....
Navy battle group headed by the aircraft carrier
USS Harry S.

Here is an article from Haaretz:

Constance,
Have you ever heard of The Church of Conscious Harmony?
If you haven't, it's a gem. Some of the usual suspects are involved (i.e. Fr. Keating )
Make sure you explore all the pages.

P.S.
This "Church of Conscious Harmony" is NOT Catholic. In fact, it is barely even Christian.
It is one example of the so-called "emerging church."
Thanks, Susanna!
"Big Sis" Janet Napolitano encouraging Americans to report what they see...
'See something, say something' drive begins in NYC
The Associated Press
July 01, 2010
I think the links page says it all.

You get credit for finding the cult of the week.
Dorothy
Cockamamie indeed! But the more cockamamie, it seems, the more powerful and believable these days.
Conscious Harmony promotes Gurdjieff who is known for the Fourth Way and also uses the enneagram (Ouspensky).
Doug Pagitt of the Emerging Church movement promotes the enneagram. http://dougpagitt.com/2010/05/events-through-the-lens-of-the-enneagram/
All the streams indeed come together.
While unrelated to the current conversation please stop by blog and read http://wp.me/p8N6Q-kn which is a controversial article on clash between homosexuality and Christianity and 4 key elements of the clash. UK Church To Boycott Israeli Goods-
"LONDON – The Methodist Church of Britain voted on Wednesday to boycott Israeli-produced goods and services from the West Bank because of Israel’s “illegal occupation of Palestinian lands.”
“A majority of governments recognize the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories as illegitimate under international law,” the church body said at its annual conference in Portsmouth.
The motion stated that the boycott of goods “from illegal Israeli settlements” was in response to a call by the World Council of Churches – which advocates divestment from Israel – and by Palestinian civil society and “a growing number of Jewish organizations in Israel and worldwide.”
“The Methodist Conference notes the call of the World Council of Churches in 2009 for an international boycott of settlement produce and services and the support given for such a boycott by Christian leaders in Palestine in the Kairos document, Palestinian civil society and a growing number of Jewish organizations both inside Israel and worldwide and calls on the Methodist people to support and engage with this boycott of Israeli goods emanating from illegal settlements,” the church said."

Thank you!

Constance,
I won't claim to know what would be best.

Wishing you God's best!

Thank you both!
CONSTANCE
Dear Dave,
Thanks!
Constance
Tim,
I completely agree that there are many who are simply attempting to live in faith and service that are coiled up in many of these groups.
Dawn,
Sorry for the break, dinner was calling.

Dawn,
Ralph Reed is pretty interesting.

Dawn,
While all of these things are hardly a conclusive investigation into Beck's line up or any reasoning for such, it does leave me scratching my head.
JD,
Thanks the only I knew about was Ralph Reed. I just wondered about the connections. Why is Beck promoting them? I think he has had on Barton on every Friday during "Founding Fridays". Beck introduced him as "maybe the most important man in the country" and "the man who will save this country"
Dawn
I saw several of the Barton books on Amazon not too long ago fairly cheap, so I ordered them. They just arrived last week, so maybe I'll make reading them a priority this weekend. I'll for sure look at them with a critical eye.
Leana
Dawn,
You're guess is as good as mine on why Beck may be supporting these guys.

Dear Constance,
I don't know much at all about your personal circumstances, but I concur with JD and want you to know that I will certainly keep you in my prayers as you try to discern where the Lord is calling you.
The vines are nearly fully ripe.
May all be blessed this weekend as we celebrate the freedom's we all hold dear.
May you all enjoy family and friends, good food, great weather, and the joy that liberty brings.
Happy 4th of July, one and all!
Terri,
Let's not forget the UN's calls for a single reserve currency, or that this call is completely relative to the examples you cited.
Going through my pantry today, I found propylene glycol as ingredients in both whipped cream mix and shredded coconut.
At what point I wonder does it go from "antifreeze" to food.
JD,
I imagine another reason the church is eerily silent is because they are blinded by the fact that the rapture has not yet happened.
Facebook to recognize faces, help tag photos
Your friends are already selected by the software -- all you have to do is answer the Facebook prompt, "Whose face is this?"
The technology is the same as the facial detection technology most digital cameras use today.

Terri,
I have made comments in the past regarding the traditional pre-trib view and the thought that it may be by design for this purpose.
Spanish Town,
Not all of God's children slumber.

JD,
I did not mean to say otherwise, the leaders, the deception needs to be exposed.
Thoughts?
Tim,
I couldn't agree more.
Anon 8:28,
I completely understand where you are coming from.
JD,
I appreciate your comments on the pre-trib view.
Craig,
I see your points and what I can offer may not completely answer your questions.
John,
You are quite welcome.
Happy Independence Day to all!!
In the midst of our gatherings today, among friends, family, the buffets, and cheaply made over priced Chinese munitions, try not to forget to dedicate some time to discussing what this day is all about, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness!
To Anonymous (8:28 AM):
I agree that Glenn Beck is 'a snake' and a 'Pied Piper.'
To go a step further, I believe that he's a government 'tool' (a double agent).
While he pretends to come across as US vs. THEM...he is really making it easier for 'them' to identify 'us' (short of giving the government our actual names and addresses).
I can no longer stomach watching him!
JD,
Thanks for your thoughts.
John Rupp, Jr:
While I disagree with parts of his book and some of his conclusions, the book offers an insight differing from other pre-tribbers. {Note: Lowe is a pre-tribber, however.}
And, also, from Rev 10:7, note the words, "...then the mystery of God will be accomplished..." which I believe refers to, among other things, the fulfillment of the "times of the Gentiles" [Romans 11:25; Luke 21:24].
Going on to Rev 11:15:
15The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:
"The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ,
and he will reign for ever and ever."

A detail I missed on the post above:

How strange. My post has appeared, but I got a Google notice saying it was too large to process. First time that has happened.

Did you think there ever could be a list of 50 conservative rock songs? Well there is.

http://tinyurl.com/23lbdx6

John J. Miller and co. need to get a life.
Craig, I don't claim to know what all of the lyrics are. I thought the article was an interesting one. Having to go all the way back to Wake Up Little Susie says a lot about the general rock scene though. The list makes up interesting reading though.

Bravo! Thanks for saying what I was thinking, only better!
Beck is not perfect and he is not a Christian to my knowledge (The sufficiency of the Cross not being efficacious in itself to save from sin), but then again I doubt all the contributors here are Christian;
However, Beck has put his life on the line to disseminate very important information concerning the corruption in Washington, DC. The Joyce Foundation is an example of his research:
http://tinyurl.com/3x6j96h
You don't have to be a Christian to be a patriot!
Dorothy,
I didn't mean to criticize you; i.e., to shoot the messenger, so to speak.
OK, end of rant...

White House Enacts Rules Inhibiting Media From Covering Oil Spill
By Noel Sheppard
Created 07/03/2010 - 11:28
What's even more extraordinary is that the Coast Guard tried to make the exclusion zone 300 feet, before scaling it back to 65 feet."

JD and Craig,
Thank you so much for your comments and input on the rapture. That helps me a lot and lets me know I am not alone.

Constance,
As far as this white house draft of this new I.D. plan I wanted to leave you with a site worth looking into for Positive I.D. Corp. in Delray Beach, FL.

I have been alerting people for months about pages 1001-1002 in Health Bill speaking of an "implantable device":
‘‘(g)(1) The Secretary shall establish a national med22
ical device registry (in this subsection referred to as the
23 ‘registry’) to facilitate analysis of postmarket safety and
24 outcomes data on each device that—
25 ‘‘(A) is or has been used in or on a patient; and

2 ‘‘(i) a class III device; or
3 ‘‘(ii) a class II device that is implantable,
4 life-supporting, or life-sustaining.
Thanks for mentioning it.
Craig 10:20am
God Bless you.
Anon 6:22am:
No disrespect taken; and, I appreciate your concern. While I'm aware that "a little leaven leavens the whole" I contend that no pastor or teacher has perfect theology. I will never pretend that I do (hopefully!). Certainly, if one looks hard enough it's not too difficult to find problems with any Christian's belief system. Having said that I really don't believe Charles Stanley is by any means a heretic.
We need to be careful that we don't look for demons under every rock and around every corner (and I'm not saying you are). Granted TBN is largely heretical; however, our local programming has some very solid Bible teachings (through KHCE locally) from the College of Biblical Studies in Houston (CBS):
http://cbshouston.edu/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=118:what-we-believe&catid=37&Itemid=155
JD,
I recognize that, so the response really was more of clarifying. While we are on the same page but have different calls, others may not and there was someone reading that needed to hear what was said.
There's doctrinal hair-splitting and
then there's things like Mormonism,
which, IMO, is just heresy and a cult.
Glen Beck is a Mormon.
That's all I need to know to write
him out of my own list of people
to listen to.
It's right up there with Christian
Science, Freemasonry and
Scientology, etc.
John Rupp Jr. 12:38AM,
Have you checked out JD's blog? In terms of what JD has already posted, he is just getting warmed up.

Which health bill?
Please cite a source document so the information you provided can be verified.
There are/were several versions, and countless amendments, it's all so confusing (by design I'm sure). However, if I'm not mistaken, HR 3962 is the "healthcare" bill that was passed into law.
I have not found the section you refer to in H.R. 3962....granted there are so many pages, so many versions, could easily be missed or hidden.
See HR 3962 contents page...
http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D?c111:1:./temp/~c111QxB8DH::
I did find the section in the bill concerning standardized and IMMEDIATE REAL TIME electronic funds transfers, which of course must involve some form of electronic patient ID...
http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/F?c111:1:./temp/~c111QxB8DH:e101417:
SEC. 1173A. STANDARDIZE ELECTRONIC ADMINISTRATIVE TRANSACTIONS.
`(a) Standards for Financial and Administrative Transactions-
However, I did NOT find the specific section and wording you are referencing.
Let me know if you are citing another bill, or another section. Would like verification on what you have posted.

John Rupp and Anon 6:02,
Just to add to this conversation a bit.
What happened to all the "links" on Constances Homepage? Will
Thank you everyone for your comments on microchip implants. You have given me more things to look into and research on the subject. I find it fascinating watching this Postive I.D. company.
John Rupp
JD,
Again, please post (or repost) a link to the specific "Healthcare" bill you are referencing. I've found many versions and bill #'s online.
Thanks, omots
Dorothy,
I say this with all due respect, but Barton and Wall Builders have organized with other groups in attempts to make a cohesive structure.
Devlin, Director, Urban Family Council, Diane Knippers, President, Institute on Religion and Democracy, Janice Shaw Crouse, Ph.D., Senior Fellow, Beverly LaHaye Institute.
http://tinyurl.com/3yhcvbh

OMOTS,
HR 3962 is only one section of the entire reform package.

To slam Beck because he has Barton on is to play into the hands of groups such as
http://www.publiceye.org/ifas/fw/9606/barton.html If you can't pull that piece apart line by line, you have o business saying you do research.

Interesting, particularly given that "EU's dream candidate" has just won a Polish election (7/5/10):

Okay everyone, this deserves some very close attention. Go to cnn.com and scroll to the TECH headlines and there is "Biometric ATM gives cash via finger vein scan". Click and get the whole article. Make sure and read the entire article. I printed it out. I assure you this is worth looking into. This is the cooperation BPS bank in Poland.

I am glad you saw that article on biometric ATM's from CNN entitled "Biometric ATM gives cash via finger vein scan".
I tried to post it here for you but for some reason it wouldn't post. Biometrics can include finger prints, retinal scans, voice and face recognition, etc.
