But something happened so very close to me and my family today, I feel I should inform you of it here. There was a shooting at Oxford High School at 12:51 to 12:56 pm today. The first shot was filed at 12:51 pm. It was my oldest grandson, Zander Cumbey, a student at the school who heard the shot and made the immediate first call to 911. The authorities arrived within five minutes. During that five minutes the 15 year old sophomore student shot 11 people. Three died, another three are in critical condition and the others, save one, a teacher, had serious injuries. The deputy sheriffs went right into the crime scene, encountered the student who immediately raised his hands in surrender and gave up his semi-automatic pistol. The weapon had been purchased by his father on November 26, per investigating authorities.
Needless to say, my three grandsons in the Oxford School District are deeply traumatized. These shootings have become far too frequent and less random. Ditto for Department store flash mob breakins.
This one was too close to home for comfort. I live in Lake Orion. Oxford, Michigan is the next town to our immediate north. My grandsons play football and have been on the honor roll for upwards of three consecutive years.
The descrtiption of the pre-flood world was that it was full of violence and no longer covered its dead. Jesus said that as it was in the days of Noah, so it shall be in the days of the coming of the Son of Man.

I don't think such would work in the US even though we've HAD mandatory vaccination for our children in public and private schools and colleges for decades now. US adults are evidently more willing to vaccinate their kids than themselves? Perhaps, instead, the unvaccinated should be ordered on lockdown and kept away from the rest of us more conscientious citizens willing to roll up our sleeves to "love our neighbors".
Maybe the tax idea I proposed previously would work as well wehre you pay an annual tax for a vaccine exemption of maybe just $5,000 or so (representing about 1/4 to 1/5 of the cost of an unvaccinated hospitalized covid death). That price could be adjusted annually based upon actual experience. If you can't afford it maybe get a second or third job. Such might help the employment markets too where the service industry is begging for employees.
Keep the good idea coming. Of course, none of that would be necessary if everyone just got vaccinated versus lying and pretending antivaxx is something other than political.

As I stated on the previous thread, I came down with COVID-19. I am treating myself with one of Dr. Zelenko's Protocols (for low risk patients). I determined myself to be low risk because of my overall, very good health. My only health 'concern' is a very occasional A-Fib event, a condition which makes me much more vulnerable to the 'vaccine' side effects than it does the actual virus! (see above post)
The first two days were really bad with all of the typical multiple symptoms, sore throat, non-stop running nose, body aches, headache, sneezing fits, chills, etc. Today is the third day, and I am already feeling quite a bit better, although I am starting to develop a very mild cough.
Why am I writing about this? Because, in my opinion, if you are in relatively good health, this is really nothing to fear, and, there are treatment options available.
Basically, it comes down to this, you have a choice; take an EXPERIMENTAL 'vaccine' along with endless 'booster' shots, which includes multiple side effects (many of which are dangerous), or, take the proper steps to aid your own immune system in order to fight the virus should you get it.
The choice should be YOUR's alone to make, and not the Government's mandatory edict of 'one size fits all' approach.

That particual study you cited was an in vitro (petri dish) study from Sept 2020 and, like many preprints, abstracts and studies around that time was later found to be misleading.
Specifically and importantly, the 20 um concentration used to obtain the measured anti-SARS-CoV-2 action of ivermection observed in vitro is much much higher than the 0.28 uM, the maximum reported plasma concentraion achieved in vivo with a dose of approximately 1700 ug/kg (about 36 times the FDA-approved dosification)

p.s.- Don't get me wrong. I hope treatments can be found to increase survival rates. By now it's pretty clear Ivermectin isn't any kind of miracle cure. p.s.#2 - My compassion is reserved for the elderly and immuno-compromised that are losing their freedom, liberty and LIVES. There are many confounding factors that MAY explain such, including the lack of obesity and huge levels of Vitamin D. There's also a lack of reliable reporting or, in many such places any medical system treating, let alone documenting much of anything - so who really knows.
Prolong use of ivermectin MAY play a factor but there isn't enough ivermectin in the world to treat everyone indefinitely, nor evidence such would actually work in the US and other western countries.
One thing is for sure...if the government had approved it early on, despite the evidence, and then asked everyone to take it...politically, MAGA wouldn't.

p.s.- The story from medical update online was from May 2021 and is outdated. Countries like Slovakia and Peru that implemented ivermectin to great fanfare didn't fare any better thereafter. They just happened to experiment with it at or near a natural peak. In fact, Slovakia just went on lockdown last week as it experiences its largest spike of the pandemic yet. Only 40-45% of the population is vaccinated thanks to false hope ivermectin would protect them.
I truly wish it worked better but even if it had worked moderately, it wouldn't replace vaccines unless it reduced transmission, serious illness, hospitalizations and deaths as dramatically as vaccines have. It's not even in the same ballpark, if it's helpful at all.

Instead of focusing on an existing drug that maybe helps a little they developed a money making drug that works a lot specifically for cases of serious covid that they can make money on. As a capitalist, I don’t blame them.
Mike Adam, joe Mercola, Sherri Tenpenny, etc could have pooled tighter their vast sums of covid grifting dollars and tried to conduct such clinical trials. It’s a generic drug. Anyone could have run with it and some countries did, like Slovakia. They are paying the price now.
The cdc/nih looked into it to and decided not to go down that path after seeing the levels of dosage required to be effective at all. They are not obligated to exhaust all other avenues with “our” tax dollars because of the political preferences of a segment of the population feels vaccines are too “democrat” or liberal for them whereas ivermectin and other unproven experimental treatments are more Republican-like.
John Campbell is a resource, he’s not the final word. If he were, his statements about omicron they other day saying omicron tips the scales of the cost benefit vaccine debate towards the need for everyone to get vaccinated asap would be the gold standard too.

I addressed the 55-year production of documents discussion on a previous thread. The Plaintiffs (made up of largely grifters and foreigners) wanted our government to use up all its limited resources to produce about 350,000 pages of documents within 20 days or so. The FDA/CDC argued for the court's permission to hand over the most critical information immediately and the rest, in whatever order the Plaintiff prioritized, at a pace of 500 pages a month. That could take 55 years doing the math but there are likely chuncks of pages that don't require review and radactions so that may not really be the case and the most critical pages will be turned over fairly quickly. You make it sound like the government is hiding something or that the government wants to delay turning over anything for 55 years. It's not. It's just allocating OUR resources and advocating for our best interests. In a few days time (december 15th, I believe) the court will hear the opposing sides arguments' and make a decision. It won't 20 days nor will it be 55 years. One of Trump's [unqualified} appointed roman catholic federal district court judges is presiding, so it should be fair, right?
As far as 1,200 deaths from December 1, 2020 through February 28th, 2021 having been reported as potential adverse events that's obviously a sign of success when the initial recipients were the oldest and most at risk group. Whenever there is a new vaccine reporting is at its highest levels and evidently no pattern or indicators were set off attributing these reported adverse deaths to actually being caused by the vaccines or it would have been stopped or paused. Out of the 1,200 only 4 did on the same day and seemingly, potentially, as a result of an anaphylaxis event out of millions of doses administered to the oldest and sickest patients.
To keep perspective - over those same 90 days - 243,557 Americans died from Covid.
Further perspective, approximaely 300,000 Americans die every December-February the last decade or so.
My dad was placed in (in-home) hospice care as he was not expected to live another 6 months and they set an appointment for someone to come over and vaccinate him. They didn't show up so he never got it but with 24 hour care we were nervous one of the workers would bring in Covid and he'd have to go to the hospital maybe or otherwise experience a much more gruesome suffocating death. I'm sure in homes and hospice centers all the residents were getting vaccinated no matter how close to death's door they were.
Read the actual adverse event reports and you'll see...most are simply providing information related to natural and/or covid infection deaths somewhat contemporaneous with receiving the vaccine.

The BBC is a statutory corporation, independent from direct government intervention, with its activities being overseen by the BBC Board and regulated by Ofcom. As such, it is neither state owned (it's the British Broadcasting Corporation you notice), nor state controlled, much to the annoyance of most, if not all, governments and agencies within the UK.
It does have a special position, as all (live) TV watchers in the UK must fund it, whether they watch it or not via licensing fees.
That aspect (its funding) is under government control, but it fails to stop the BBC being considered outrageously right-wing by many lefties, and dangerously socialist and liberal by many conservatives. You do realize the writer of that natural news article, new age Scientologist, Mike Adams, himself has concocted that whole conspiracy out of that single abstract written by an 80 year retired cardiologist and naturalpath who completed overstated any rational claim that could ever be made about the results of the novel PULS cardiac test that simply measures the presence of immuno-induced inflammation and predicts the possiblity of a cardiac event within 5 years based upon a history of such results compared to heart attacks measured prior to Covid. It doesn't see or measure ACTUAL cardiac damage and vaccinations are supposed to trigger an immuno-response. It's not supprising the scores might (we haven't seen any actual numbers or study yet) be higher after covid vaccination.

In Nevada, they are only charging the state employees an extra $55 a month to cover the ongoing costs of weekly covid testing on the unvaccinated. It also doesn't go into effect until next August 2022 and allows for religious and health exemptions.
That is nothing and doesn't address the excess costs involved with the excess risks of hospitalization and ongoing Covid recovery disabilities at all. I can't imagine that being less than $150 per month more per unvaccinated participant but I'm sure actuaries can figure that out.
Instead -- we are ALL going to be paying $100's more per month for our health insurance next year (and beyond) to cover the sunk and future costs of providing covid healthcare, including post-covid healthcare to the unvaccinated.

Actually, I don't like the idea of just not voting at all so I'd probably support Buttigieg against any Opus Dei roman catholic republican candidate (funny, because Buttigieg claim catholicism too, I think). I'd much prefer any other democrat candidate to him and pray he doesn't get that nomination but I vote in the Republican primary as a registered Republican so I don't have any say in that.

I got the Moderna booster because it's stronger and I'd read good things about doing the Pfizer - Pfizer - Moderna triple play.
Appointments are easy to make. Food Lion had/has Moderna available all afternoon and Krogers had plenty of appointments for Moderna in the mornings. I have no idea if that is by design. It was really easy.
There are children in my extended family who are immuno-compromised that we can't all get together at Christmas and be around each other unless we're all fully vaccinated.

Last month a friend's husband (who for all practical purposes was healthy and a care giver for his stroke inflicted wife) passed away. I still think the ventilator was part of why his lungs could not recover. It really seemed he had a fighting chance until then.
I wished they would have let him have Ivermectin for treatment because I think he might have pulled through with it. But the Lord allowed it this way.
Hard to understand things many times but that circumstance and what would become of it went across His desk and He signed off on it, so I just have to pause and know, that the Lord in His wisdom allows what He will, His ways and thoughts are not like ours.
Meanwhile His grace is sufficient, praise God!
Here is a personal update regarding my battle with COVID.
As I stated before, I woke up with a sore throat, body aches, chills, horrible sinus condition, headache, lack of energy, sneezing fits, etc. I was absolutely miserable for the first 2 days. At the first signs of symptoms, I began the Dr. Zelenko recommended treatment for 'low risk patients.'
While I began to see marked improvement during the 3rd. day, that morning, I developed a guttural, annoying cough that kept me up the following night. By the evening of the 4th. day (yesterday), my cough disappeared, my sinuses cleared and I was able to sleep the entire night!
Today is my 5th. day with COVID and virtually all of my COVID symptoms are gone! I'm going to continue the prescribed protocol for another 2 1/2 days.
If you have fear of COVID, you need to check out Dr. Vladimir Zelenko. Everyone and every case is obviously different, but I for one can testify that his protocol worked wonders for me!

I am very sorry to read of the passing of your friend's husband. His story, unfortunately, adds weight to what I have learned regarding the provable adverse effects of ventilators.
As you stated, God did allow this to happen. His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. As the Sovereign God of the Universe, He exercises His will to fulfill His purposes, even when we cannot understand the reasoning behind it. That, I think, is what defines faith. Exercising our faith by believing and trusting in Him, because He should be trusted, rather than 'leaning upon our own understanding.' Proverbs 3:5,6
I'll pray for the surviving wife that her needs are met, both physically and spiritually. May God shed His abundant mercy upon her.

I had some thoughts about it but I’m watching the big game right now and don’t recall the whole conversation. He was pretty pithy about the whole antivax groups too, I think.
I felt he was rather Roman Catholic pessimist, but maybe he isn’t Catholic at all.
Ireland/UK have experienced much longer “lockdowns” and governmental restrictions than the US and it showed in the rate of covid deaths (Irelands deaths rate was 1/3rd of the US and 1/2 of the UK’s).
I also think the US remained a Christian nation much longer than Europe. The non-Christian prosperity and, separately, the dominion theology heretics are a post Vietnam War thing.
A very simplified argument for a complex problem but at least he gets beyond the battle of over disinformation and covid denial.

Ps did you watch the unHerd interview regarding the Australian girl held in quarantine camp describing her experience? Now that’s tough governmental control. But look at Australia’s nonexistent excess death rates and they are nearing 90% vaccination rates over age 12 nationwide …accomplished in about 6 months vs the us at 50% or 60% in 11 months. I wouldn’t like to be forced into quarantine without ever testing positive myself just because I was casually exposed, maybe, but it’s hard to argue with success.
I’ll also add. Government controls at the outset of covid were necessary and though covid has been horrible it could have been much worse had the virus been more lethal and more transmissible. Governments the world over had no way of knowing it wasn’t and had to act out of caution. They also had to get things wrong, which only became wrong in hindsight. Someone mentioned the Barrington thing issued Oct 2020. What a tremendous disaster that would have been, imagine what happened in Florida and Texas this summer/fall happening worldwide.

We all thought she would be the one to die by it, that she would be a victim of it, but she was over it in less than 2 weeks and her symptoms were fairly mild. What a mercy! Yet her seemingly healthy care giver husband died form the lung inflammation than was brought on by Covid and I still think hampered by the ventailator treatments he got over a 2 week period. There is much for her to overcome now but by the sufficiency of the Lord I believe she will be alright after all.

I find it sad to see MAGA/Trump still crying about this stuff. Just because Trump constantly used criticism to draw attention (cameras and microphones) to himself by acting like a snowflake which the press loved to cover doesn't mean Biden is beyond being criticized. Biden just doesn't whine about it so there isn't a follow-up cry baby circus to report on. This is likely due to Biden having way more experience as a political leader than Trump had. for you have filled it with sin
and ruined it completely.
11Suppose a prophet full of lies would say to you,
“I’ll preach to you the joys of wine and alcohol!”
That’s just the kind of prophet you would like!
Judgment against Israel’s Leaders
1I said, “Listen, you leaders of Israel!
You are supposed to know right from wrong,
2but you are the very ones
who hate good and love evil.
You skin my people alive
and tear the flesh from their bones.
3Yes, you eat my people’s flesh,
strip off their skin,
and break their bones.
You chop them up
like meat for the cooking pot.
4Then you beg the LORD for help in times of trouble!
Do you really expect him to answer?
After all the evil you have done,
he won’t even look at you!”
5This is what the LORD says:
“You false prophets are leading my people astray!
You promise peace for those who give you food,
but you declare war on those who refuse to feed you.
6Now the night will close around you,
cutting off all your visions.
Darkness will cover you,
putting an end to your predictions.
The sun will set for you prophets,
and your day will come to an end.
7Then you seers will be put to shame,
and you fortune-tellers will be disgraced.
And you will cover your faces
because there is no answer from God.”
8But as for me, I am filled with power—
with the Spirit of the LORD.
I am filled with justice and strength
to boldly declare Israel’s sin and rebellion.
9Listen to me, you leaders of Israel!
You hate justice and twist all that is right.
10You are building Jerusalem
on a foundation of murder and corruption.
11You rulers make decisions based on bribes;
you priests teach God’s laws only for a price;
you prophets won’t prophesy unless you are paid.
Yet all of you claim to depend on the LORD.
“No harm can come to us,” you say,
“for the LORD is here among us.”
12Because of you, Mount Zion will be plowed like an open field;
Jerusalem will be reduced to ruins!
A thicket will grow on the heights
where the Temple now stands.
The LORD’s Future Reign
1In the last days, the mountain of the LORD’s house
will be the highest of all—
the most important place on earth.
It will be raised above the other hills,
and people from all over the world will stream there to worship.
2People from many nations will come and say,
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
to the house of Jacob’s God.
There he will teach us his ways,
and we will walk in his paths.”
For the LORD’s teaching will go out from Zion;
his word will go out from Jerusalem.
3The LORD will mediate between peoples
and will settle disputes between strong nations far away.
They will hammer their swords into plowshares
and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will no longer fight against nation,
nor train for war anymore.
4Everyone will live in peace and prosperity,
enjoying their own grapevines and fig trees,
for there will be nothing to fear.
The LORD of Heaven’s Armies
has made this promise!
5Though the nations around us follow their idols,
we will follow the LORD our God forever and ever.
Israel’s Return from Exile
6“In that coming day,” says the LORD,
“I will gather together those who are lame,
those who have been exiles,
and those whom I have filled with grief.
7Those who are weak will survive as a remnant;
those who were exiles will become a strong nation.
Then I, the LORD, will rule from Jerusalem
as their king forever.”
