Please watch the HBO Series on Qanon "Into the Storm"

I have been watching many videos and doing much reading about Qanon. The more I read, the more alarmed I become. QANON is NOT OF GOD and it is DANGEROUS. A very informative video illustrating Qanon origins and direction is HBO's current series ON THE STORM. If you have access to HBO documentaries, please make every effort to watch it. Friends of mine came back from Antrim County, Michigan. They told me that they were making statements there that Donald Trump would be reinstated as President of the USA in August 2021. Both high unlikely, not to mention delusional! Michael Lindell, MY PILLOW owner and CEO spoke, I'm told at the Antrim County, Michigan rally. My friends tell me the book LOVE JOY TRUMP was being actively marketed and sold there. Lindell wrote the foreword for that book. The book is one of the worst combinations of New Apostolic Reform and outright NEW AGE occultism I have seen together in one place. I am hearing statistics that many Evangelicals believe Qanon is correct. This lack of discernment is distressing! Stay tuned! CONSTANCE '

Yes Professor X, the Republicans are "partnering with the Pope, and blaming the Jews." NOT!

The Democratic party is a loathsome cesspool, largely consisting of the Synagogue of Satan, and Luciferian Catholics.

The Republican party, much less so.

COVID deaths PLUNGE after major world city introduces...IVERMECTIN

A citywide initiative in Mexico City to prescribe ivermectin to COVID-19 patients resulted in a plunge in hospitalizations and deaths, two studies found.

Hospitalizations were down by as much as 76%, according to research by the Mexican Digital Agency for Public Innovation, Mexico's Ministry of Health and the Mexican Social Security Institute, according to a TrialSiteNews report highlighted by LifeSiteNews.

The Chinese were all given mandatory vaccines in the Fall of 2019.

The vaccine contained replicating, DIGITIZED (controllable) RNA which were activated by 60Ghz mm 5G waves that were just turned on in Wuhan (as well as all other countries using 60Ghz 5G ) with the “smart dust” that everyone on the globe has been inhaling through chemtrails. That’s why when they say someone is “cured”, the “virus” can be “digitally” reactivated at any time and the person can literally drop dead.

The Diamond Princess Cruise ship was SPECIFICALLY equipped with 60Ghz 5G.

It’s basically remote assassination. Americans are currently breathing in this “smart” dust through chemtrails. Think of it like this… add the combination of vaccines, chemtrails (smart dust) and 5G and your body becomes internally digitized and can be remotely controlled.

I agree with X that our government is stacked with Opus Dei, especially Supreme Court. Politicians in both parties are guilty but Republicans more so. In addition, Republican evangelicals have been partnering with the Pope for years. NAR Kenneth Copeland let the cat out of the bag at one of his believers conventions in 2014 with a video message from Pope Francis. Copeland declared that the Catholic Church is the mother church. He declared Luther's reformation is over. All of the NAR so-called prophets and apostles and the appointed spiritual advisors to President Trump are all involved. Alliances are being formed, agreements are being signed by ecumenical leaders all for merging into a one world church. You can do your own research. I've spoken with many Christians about these things. Most aren't even aware that great men of God were burned at the stake for refusing to confess the Catholic church as the mother church. What's worse, they don't care. They choose to remain woefully ignorant and continue to support their chosen political point of view.

All anyone can do is warn, Hutch.
Constance has done a lot of that. Many here also do the same.
If folks have been here at this blog a while they are not unaware of the nasty thread that runs right through the middle of "Christendom" today (meaning Catholic, Protestant and Evangelicals too). There are so many in mainstream religious circles who are part of that sad state of affairs. Politics and religion are so co-mingled in this age of deception. The leaven has greatly leavened the lump by now.
Republicans, by and large, are bad alright..I can't think that anyone here disputes that, gives them any kind of pass...but for all that...they don't hold a candle to the Democrat side of the aisle which has gone completely to seed in it's evil schemes.
It is an evil time and the chaff is fully grown among the wheat so the boogie man breathing down everyone's neck is even bigger than what you are highlighting.
However, x has his own deep biases and compromises to reckon with, and that cancels much of what he posts as waste, so warning him is a waste of time.

What this U.S. military veteran says he will do when a covid strike force comes to his door...

I would go outside and engage them in conversation. I would show them confirmation that I have a BAD allergy to a chemical called bronopol, which is used to manufacture ANY vaccine in the US as of about 2000/2001 (it replaced mercury as a biocide). I am under the care of the VA. They are just starting to realize how pervasive this chemical is. Agent orange was never made without it. It was in EVERY burn pit. Alcohol based sanitizers sold in the US are required by federal law to have this chemical to be labeled "anti-viral". They are also very good at hiding this chemical by using different names, etc. The CAS # 51-52-7 does not change. In government testing, this chemical killed test subjects primarily by causing swollen hearts (LD 50 140 PPB) when absorbed, drowning (or suffocation) from pleural effusion (less than 5 PPB) when inhaled. 2% of all vertebrates tested, reacted to levels far below the normal efficacy range. Get access to a legal library and look up Troy Corp vs Browner and look at the evidence section. Look at wiki and you will read how Dupont first synthesized this chemical in 1897. That means it is naturally occurring and no date for discovery is given. It was used in transformer coolant oil starting with the beginning of the electrical generating industry in the 1800's. It was also apparently used for cigarettes, asbestos, Round-up, even the cooling towers at PG&E of Brockovich fame had used a product called "Slimeaway" in the cooling water, yet there is no mention of this anywhere in the court record of this. Bronopol turns into nitrosamines and formaldehyde when it is exposed to an acid. Now you know why Zantac was removed from the market. The more you know!

Parents Canceled By Their Own Children

July 19, 2021
By Caryn Boddie
AmericanThinker.com

It happened that, as I was thinking about writing about my husband and me being canceled by our own children six months ago — we have been agonizing about not being able to talk to them or see our grandson for all that time — a thought popped into my mind: blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

Weeks ago, while struggling with how to understand what has happened, I picked up a copy of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. Then I looked at a book by David Horowitz entitled Barack Obama's Rules for Revolution: The Alinsky Model. What I read convinced me that our family, more so our children, had been targeted. We, as a middle-class family who used to live together in the suburbs, were in the bull's eye.

Consider the last chapter of Rules, which was published in 1971. It is entitled "The Way Forward." Alinsky writes, "Organization for action will now and in the decade ahead center upon America's white middle class. That is where the power is. ... Large parts of the middle class, the 'silent majority,' must be activated."

The left has been working on making the children of the middle class into radicals, turning them against their parents and their parents' values for fifty years now, in multiple generations. All the things we middle-class parents believed in and called good, our children now call bad and false, and more than bad and false, worthy of destruction, especially if we parents are Christian and conservative, and even more so if we are Trump-supporters. Our cancelation is the fruit of the left's strategy to remake America.

It was shocking to us that our children canceled us for being who and what we are; we have tried to be good and true parents, faithful and patriotic. We are heartbroken, blame ourselves, blame our children, reach out and plead and cajole, pray and pray and pray and ask others to pray, too.

It is not just we. This is happening to many middle-class families. For example, I met a friend the other day, and she told me she has several friends whose children are canceling them. One of them is a mother with whom my friend was close as their kids grew up. She said this person was an excellent mother, but now her son will have nothing to do with her and is calling her an abusive mother.

My friend's own son canceled her and her husband, too. The son told his mother that everything they taught him was a lie. Before he canceled them, he forbade his mother to talk to him about God anymore.

Anonymous said...

Years ago, my children also told me I was not allowed to talk to them about God anymore.

Both of us told our children that we would not proselytize, but we could not promise never to mention God because we are people of faith; it is who we are.

When my husband posted on Facebook about our plight, more than a few friends responded that they were going through the same things. One mother said her three children will have nothing to do with her anymore and had recently left her out of a family wedding. She said she is also a person of faith.

What is going on is evil. Just evil. Have our children been caught in evil's trap?

I'm afraid so. The sad truth is that behind the strategy of the left is an admiration of, and devotion to, Lucifer, also known as Satan. Proof of this is in the preface of Alinsky's book, where he praises "the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer."

And leftism is cultlike. It demands that young people give up God. Then they are required to convert their parents — remember how President Obama told kids to go home and talk to their parents at Thanksgiving — and, if they will not convert, children must distance themselves from parents as punishment.

David Horowitz writes about the evil of the left and about how the left is intent on building a Utopia on Earth to meet their vision of a great society. Of those from the suburbs who have been activated, he writes, "In his own mind, the radical is building his own kingdom, which to him is a kingdom of heaven on earth. Since a kingdom of heaven built by human beings is a fantasy — an impossible dream — the radical's only real world efforts are those which are aimed at subverting the society he lives in. He is a nihilist."

What comes to mind are the faces of Antifa thugs we have seen in mug shots on the internet over the past year. They look like so many sons and daughters of suburban families. Heartbreaking.

You might be thinking, come on, you are just bad parents who were abusive, and you are just making excuses. Your kids were justified in canceling you.

I am confident that we were good parents. Not abusive. We are somewhat meek people — good folks according to a neighbor — who were devoted to our children, who invested in our children and then cheered them on through their education and as they left to travel the world and begin careers on the East Coast.

Anonymous said...

Oh, wait! Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. That's Matthew 5:5. But let's go on.

When Donald Trump was running for president, my husband voted for him, but I could not. After he was president, we both supported him. Our kids did hate Trump with a passion, the same passion those around them expressed, an almost demonic hatred.

When the pandemic hit the USA, we did everything we were supposed to do to take care of ourselves, so our kids would not worry, and then they got vaccinated as soon as they could. However, we did express concern in Colorado to our governor about lockdowns. That upset our daughter, who was working on the pandemic response. We apologized.

When the riot at the Capitol happened on January 6, 2021, that was the last straw for our children, or should I say, that was the best excuse. They canceled their parents. No calls on Mother's Day. No calls on Father's Day — even though we were not in D.C. that day, we were not at the Capitol, and we condemned the riot.

Nothing we did or said helped, and the children, perhaps to justify their decision to cancel their own parents, let it be known in one of the last conversations we had that they were now going to look at childhood issues; in other words, they would be finding rationale for their decision. Six months out from January 6, we are still canceled.

It is a spiritual battle. For sure. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

Caryn Boddie writes for Meadowlark Press, LLC in Colorado.

Larry Elder MISSING From The California Recall Election Candidate List

According to a statement from Elder's campaign spokeswoman, Ying Ma, "she expected him to be on the final list of candidates issued next week," Fox News reported. In a statement, she said: "Our campaign submitted EVERY document required by the Secretary of State and the Los Angeles County Registrar" to qualify for the ballot.

It is still unclear as to what requirement Elder, who announced his candidacy Monday, failed to meet, according to Fox News.

Excellent piece entitled:

The 'Silent Majority' Is Rapidly Becoming the 'Angry Majority'

"The 2020 elections were a turning point. Everyone watched Trump rallies with tens of thousands of enthusiastic supporters and contrasted them with Biden's events with 20–30 people in six-foot circles. On Election Night, they saw videos of Republican poll-watchers being thrown out of Democrat-controlled districts and windows being papered to hide what was going on. They saw videos of ballots being counted late at night when no one was watching, and the same stacks were run through the machines multiple times. Ballot counting was halted simultaneously in five liberal states, and when things started up again, the results magically shifted to Biden.

Americans are not stupid. They know that the fix was in. They know that lying and corruption at the highest levels were involved."

And there you have it.
Ivermectin, simple, cheap, available, best of all very effective, science squarely behind it, and systemically run out of the marketplace and the doctor's offices to keep it from the people.......
so that......
expensive, overdone, politically manipulated, and questionable science, while proving only marginally effective vaccine, is being systematically used to coerce the population to use it becomes the rule of the day, and this is only the beginning of how they will 'fix" everything.

Thanks Socialist Democrats (you China complicit traitors) who cheated their way to power, who created the whole scene of "pandemic" for politically motivated fear-mongering crap, that clueless government dependent lightweights bought into, that is what is really killing people..killing off this nation and effectively killing off other nations and economies around the globe, so the "crisis" doesn't go to waste so they can tell us all when to wipe our butts and sit down and shut up because they know better than any of the rest of us.
So there.

J,

That study and numerous other studies which attempted to compile a series of smaller studies, including the Egazzar study & draw inferences from the data is/was severely compromised by the revelations of fraud & withdrawal of the Elgazzar study.

I have no idea why someone would go to such lengths to publish bogus works that, upon peer review, would be so easily dismantled by a graduate student.

Such grad student, Johnny Lawrence even stated “It appeared that the authors had run entire paragraphs from press releases and websites about ivermectin and Covid-19 through a thesaurus to change key words. “Humorously, this led to them changing ‘severe acute respiratory syndrome’ to ‘extreme intense respiratory syndrome’ on one occasion,” Lawrence said.

“Huge study supporting ivermectin as Covid treatment withdrawn over ethical concerns“
https://www.theguardian.com/science/2021/jul/16/huge-study-supporting-ivermectin-as-covid-treatment-withdrawn-over-ethical-concerns

If ivermectin were as good as y’all seem to think u couldn’t stop real front line doctors from administering it. Ivermectin may eventually be proven to help some people a little but it’s certainly no substitute for vaccination at this point in time.

X 5:32 PM,

I had already read the Guardian article that you had already shared.

The paper I shared was not referencing just one study. Nor were the many studies summarized in the paper dependent upon just that one study.

Ivermectin simply works. It has been found to work by many doctors, cities and regions across the world.

Please read the paper if you haven't yet. If you can show how the whole paper is dependent upon just that one discredited study, then I'll stand corrected.

I'm interested in knowing the truth about Ivermectin. Are you?

J,

Yes, I'm interested in the truth about Ivermectin but as we know, "truth" when it comes to medicine is an impossible standard. Best you can hope for is generally what is the best-known practice at a particular point in time. I hope a good large randomized trial someday proves the extent Ivermectin actually helps anyone.

Here's a pretty fair-seeming article about the study you referenced that was published by Kory, Marik and Varon (the 3 primary guys at FLCCC). This article discusses the efficacy, shortfalls and ethical difficulties of the study.

What's Behind the Ivermectin-for-COVID Buzz? — Maverick physicians spurn randomized trials while "people are dying"
Jan 6, 2021 (long before knowing the Egazzar study was faked)
https://www.medpagetoday.com/infectiousdisease/covid19/90552

Couple of items of interest from these 3 doctors:

1. The group also emphasizes wearing masks and other public health measures to prevent transmission of the disease."

2. In July 2020, Dr Varon stated that doctors were fighting a "war against stupidity" with people not following public health advice to wear masks and physically distance.

3. Marik and Kory say they're frustrated that their work is now being championed by the political right, and that it's become politicized at all. The group has had to distinguish itself from America's Frontline Doctors, which gained notoriety for its pro-hydroxychloroquine, anti-lockdown rhetoric last summer."This is not a political issue and it should never be," Marik said. "We are driven by the science and the data, not by politics or anything else.". Further, "It angers me, when I hear that it's a conspiracy, that this virus doesn't exist, that there aren't that many deaths," he added. "You have to come to the ICU and see that people are dying to realize this is no hoax, this is real."

4. They find it particularly disappointing that their work has been misinterpreted as potentially undermining vaccination. "That's complete nonsense," Marik said. "I was vaccinated yesterday and I believe this is a bridge to vaccination," noting that slow vaccine roll-outs, vaccine hesitancy, and vaccine quality will likely mean the world will be dealing with COVID-19 for a long time to come. "We need to do something in the meantime," he said.

The article mentions that Dr. Varon, in particular, has the ability to prescribe MATH+ to his patients in Houston at the United Memorial Medical Center (where he is the hospital's board chairman). Accordingly, it's been months and months now and if Ivermectin was REAllY a cure-all wonder drug, I think this video below from March 2021 at United Memorial might have told a different story. Notice the MATH protocol is specifically mentioned.

"One year later: Inside the COVID unit at United Memorial Medical Center"
https://www.khou.com/video/news/health/coronavirus/one-year-later-inside-the-covid-unit-at-united-memorial-medical-center/285-2f29b033-e4d1-4501-8de3-eb136f968da8

x

p.s.- I find the ivermectin observations in Peru and Mexico bogus as well. If the results were so overwhelming why have those countries not continued to either administer Ivermectin (it's cheap) nor, if they are, not avoided additional waves and huge numbers of covid casualties? I think the "observations" were merely fortunate short-term statistics on the back side of a covid wave.

The inference being NONE of this work/studies/investigation of Ivermectin is meant to suggest "Don't get vaccinated because Ivermectin got your back".

Did you read the study and/or the article? Do you have an opinion of your own on the matter?

X 9:37 PM,

The various points regarding vaccines, Ivermectin, masks can all be considered independently of each other and on the basis of a risk-benefit analysis of the available evidence. That evidence can be considered separately from any particular authority.

The doctors haven't made a living studying masks. They haven't made a living developing vaccines. They have been treating COVID in the ICU. Part of their treatment has involved Ivermectin in addition to other things.

This is why I am inclined to consider them more of an authority on Ivermectin than on masks of vaccines.

COVID Shots Are Driving Mutated Variants

by Dr. Joseph Mercola July 20, 2021

STORY AT-A-GLANCE

"Based on the scientific evidence, the narrative that unvaccinated people are viral factories for more dangerous variants is false"

"Just as antibiotics breed resistance in bacteria, vaccines put evolutionary pressure on viruses to speed up mutations and create more virulent and dangerous variants"

"Viruses mutate all the time, and if you have a vaccine that doesn’t block infection completely, then the virus will mutate to evade the immune response within that person. That is one of the distinct features of the COVID shots — they’re not designed to block infection. They allow infection to occur and at best lessen the symptoms of that infection"

"In an unvaccinated person, the virus does not encounter the same evolutionary pressure to mutate into something stronger. So, if SARS-CoV-2 does end up mutating into more lethal strains, then mass vaccination is the most likely driver"

"So far, SARS-CoV-2 variants are at most 0.3% different from the original Wuhan virus. Such minor variation means the virus will not present itself as a new virus. If you’ve recovered from COVID-19, your immune system will still recognize it"

That Mercola article is so dimwitted and you don't need to be a doctor to understand why.

Vaccines are UNLIKE antibiotics.

When Mercola says:

"Just as antibiotics breed resistance in bacteria, vaccines put evolutionary pressure on viruses to speed up mutations and create more virulent and dangerous variants"

He is being obtuse and deliberately misrepresenting facts I'm sure he's aware of.

"Why resistance is common in antibiotics, but rare in vaccines: How resistance to drugs originates, and why it's different for vaccines".
January 2021

Viruses mutate at a regular rate no matter where they are located. The less virus there is in the population the less mutations and the more infected persons in a population the more mutations that will occur. So minimizing the amount of virus, whether its variant A, B, C....Z in the population is your best shot at heading off worse variants altogether.

This is a reason to MANDATE vaccines, not avoid them. Can you imagine ever learning that you were patient ZERO of some much more virulent strain of Covid? That you caught a completely avoidable by vaccination Covid Variant A and it mutated within you to become Variant R. Sure that could happen in a vaccinated person too, to the unknown exact extent the vaccinated still get breakthrough infections and remain transmissible; however, at least they TRIED to minimize such risk to themselves and their communities.

Even Sean Hannity is pushing you to get vaccinated now.

RayB,

If you're asking me to vote on it...I'd vote "no" because I'd want nothing to do with John Chilembwe's theology of rebellion.

I thought you supported rebellion theology and honoring rebels and murderers? You know a lot of the rebellious Confederate Officers memorialized in cities throughout the south murdered white "Yankee" Christian men and women who they believed were "colonizers" too. Their pastors even justified it.

Now that you seem to understand and are really passionate about it, if you have one such statute in your hometown, maybe you should do something about it utilizing the legal process or getting persons elected who would have the power to then have such misplaced honor blighting your community legally removed. This is seemingly the point of such artwork in London, to explore ideas like why your offense over John Chilembwe matters but others taking offense to other statues should just endure because "it's history".

X simply didn't bother reading the article, which states:

As noted by Reilly, before 2021, it was quite clear that vaccines push viruses to mutate into more dangerous strains. The only question was, to what extent? Now all of a sudden, we’re to believe conventional science has been wrong all along.

Here’s another example: NPR as recently as February 9, 2021, reported that “vaccines can contribute to virus mutations.” NPR science correspondent Richard Harris noted:5

“You may have heard that bacteria can develop resistance to antibiotics and, in a worst-case scenario, render the drugs useless. Something similar can also happen with vaccines, though, with less serious consequences.

This worry has arisen mostly in the debate over whether to delay a second vaccine shot so more people can get the first shot quickly. Paul Bieniasz, a Howard Hughes investigator at the Rockefeller University, says that gap would leave people with only partial immunity for longer than necessary.”

As you can see, even the people X listens to, have debated whether to delay a second COVID shot, due to the risk of non-neutralizing antibodies making the virus mutate in their body if they received only one shot and then became infected. This risk is not a new claim as X would have us believe, or perhaps naively believes himself.

RayB,

Ahhh...moving the goalpost.

No vaccine is 100% effective at making everyone who takes it 100% immune.

"Breakthrough cases: Tracking disease infection after vaccination"
https://scdhec.gov/covid19/breakthrough-cases-tracking-disease-infection-after-vaccination

"In public health, a “breakthrough case” is when a fully vaccinated person later gets the disease they were vaccinated for. No vaccine provides 100 percent protection against infection, so breakthrough cases are not new, and not unique, to COVID-19. There have been reports of COVID-19 breakthrough cases in South Carolina and throughout the U.S., and this is not unexpected.

COVID-19 vaccines are very effective in preventing mild symptoms, severe disease, and hospitalizations due to COVID-19 disease. Fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask under most conditions. Fully vaccinated people will still need to follow guidance at their workplace and local businesses, and requirements for public transportation. Until more people are immune to COVID-19, this will help prevent exposure to the virus and unknowingly spreading it to others. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirous/2-19-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated.html

Because fully vaccinated people usually have some immunity against the disease, breakthrough cases usually have either no symptoms or mild symptoms. A breakthrough case occurs when an individual has had a lower immune response from the vaccine. No vaccine is 100 percent effective."

It's been a while since we've delved into the science of the spike protein, but I recall a paper by Yehuda Shoenfeld. I posted the link at the bottom.

It's worth a reminder that:

a) The COVID vaccines all contain segments of the spike protein.

b) The spike protein contains multiple antigens that exhibit molecular mimicry with multiple human body tissues

c) Molecular mimicry is a well known path to autoimmune disease

d) Autoimmune disease means your immune system turns on you. Just a couple of examples of serious autoimmune disease that cause diminished quality of life and early death include multiple sclerosis and Crohn's disease. The list is lengthy and growing.

e) Chronic diseases, including a long list of autoimmune diseases, are more of an epidemic in post-industrialized nations than infectious epidemics.

J,

I don't need to ever read Mercola or Tenpenny to know their claims are worthless. They are known Covid grifters and no one has to debunk every claim they make to prove such time and time again.

Vaccines aren't antibiotics.

Just because vaccines CAN contribute to virus mutations" isn't a reason to not get vaccinated.

Perhaps the problems lay in persons who are infected and don't know it who THEN get vaccinated who might then be harboring any more successful vaccine-resistant mutation that replicated more successfully than the other strain and then got passed to others.

If that is your fear, maybe you should quarantine yourself before and after vaccination for the 5 weeks or so it takes to get the fullest immunity possible from this Covid vaccine without risking creating a bad vaccine resistant variant OR passing along regular Covid variants a, b, c, etc to anyone else for as long as the vaccine remains viable?

sound good?

REPORT: Raffensperger Exposed For Allegedly Staging Fake Election Audit In November, Documents Show!

Things are NOT looking good for the Georgia Secretary of State.

By Andrew White
July 19, 2021

An explosive report by the Gateway Pundit has revealed that Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger appears to have staged a fake election audit in November, as revealed in documents received through a FOIA request by Kevin Moncla.

Prior to the full forensic audit of Maricopa County in Arizona launched by the Arizona Senate that has revealed enough evidence of voter fraud to change the outcome of the 2020 Presidential election, it was revealed by the Gateway Pundit in January that the firms initially selected by Maricopa County in Arizona to perform previous audits of the 2020 election “were not certified when they were selected by the county as had been claimed.” According to another report, one of the firms selected by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors known as Pro V&V, was “also used by corrupt Brad Raffensperger in Georgia in performing an audit there in November 2020 after the early November election.”

“Raffensperger used a firm to audit the Dominion voting machines before and after the 2020 election. But Raffensperger withheld information on the audit firm and actually lied about its certifications.”

Raffensperger championed the results of the Pro V&V audit, suggesting that it confirmed the results of the election. “Pro V&V found no evidence of the machines being tampered,” Raffensperger said in a statement. “We are glad but not surprised that the audit of the state’s voting machines was an unqualified success.” However, according to a new report by Kevin Moncla, the “actual audit report by Pro V&V could not be found anywhere. After an exhaustive search, and in disbelief that the audit report had gone unpublished, we submitted a FOIA request to the state of Georgia for records of the audit.”

When the FOIA request came back, three documents were attached to the email sent by Pro V&V owner Jack Cobb. The first document is presumed to be a memo from Pro V&V “outlining the details of the work as requested by the Secretary of State.” The second document appeared to be an email from Raffensperger’s office approving the work detailed in the Pro V&V memo. The third document served as “the resulting Pro V&V audit report,” however, Moncla noticed that the date of the document was July 16, 2021.

The revelation that the document was created by Pro V&V owner Jack Cobb just last Friday “leaves little possibility for any plausible explanation other than the Georgia Secretary of State’s office contacted Pro V&V who created the memo to provide in response to our FOIA request,” according to the Gateway Pundit report.

“Not only was the audit performed by an uncertified vendor at the time, but the report also states that both four and six counties were selected for review in their audit. The firm looked at no ballots.

"To think that Pro V&V looked at only a few machines and no ballots to make their decision is shameful.”

This comes as the election integrity nonprofit organization Voters Organized for Trusted Election Results in Georgia (VoterGA) released a statement claiming that evidence shows that the rate of election discrepancies may be even higher in other Georgia counties besides Fulton. VoterGA showcased a trove of evidence indicating that the error reporting rate in Fulton County was a staggering 60%, as National File reported.

“VoterGA announced today it has evidence election result discrepancies in other Georgia counties may be worse than those it presented for Fulton County at a VoterGA press conference Tuesday,” the press release stated. “The revelation came as VoterGA formalized its call for a truly independent, forensic audit of all county results for the November 3rd, 2020 and January 5th, 2021 elections.”

The voter fraud revelations making way into public view in Georgia have attributed to growing calls for Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and Georgia Governor Brian Kemp to resign from office over their mishandling of evidence of voter fraud during the 2020 election. Republican candidate for Georgia Governor Vernon Jones exposed Raffensperger for lying to Georgia voters and the mainstream media about the integrity of the 2020 election, as National File reported.

2. Omission Bias - manipulate hesitancy by encouraging those facing tough choices to simply "do nothing". "Don't decide" is actually a choice to take a risk too.

3. Probability Neglect - Never discuss the rareness of vaccine injury compared to the actual numbers of potential injuries if one or all fails to vaccinate. For example, approximately 1 in 1,000 get a serious brain infection from Measles versus 1 in 1 Million who get a serious side effect from the Measles vaccine.

A new article of mine about Cliff Kincaid's video interview with Constance Cumbey is presented below. My article is titled BREAKING NEWS: New Age vs Christianity. It is located on my site, along with reference links, at:
https://www.towahkon.org/KincaidCumbey.html

Cliff Kincaid is a journalist, writer, commentator and nationally renowned conservative political activist. He sometimes substituted for co-host Pat Buchanan in the late 1980s on the former CNN television series, Crossfire, which offered debate on liberal v. conservative topics. He has appeared on The Today Show on NBC, the CBS Evening News, Hannity & Colmes, The O’Reilly Factor, Lou Dobbs Tonight, and The Glenn Beck Show. Kincaid is now the president of American Survival, Inc., an organization with a website where Kincaid presents weekly YouTube TV interviews where he discusses relevant topics with renowned people.

Kincaid has been for decades a convervative Catholic opponent of the New Age Movement. However, in a recent interview with a world renowned leader of the New Age Movement, Gerard Aartsen, Kincaid seemed to be converting to the New Age Movement. The interview is titled UFOs, the Great Reset, the New Age, and the Messiah. Several years ago, Kincaid asked me, a New Age prophet, to be interviewed on his organization's YouTube TV program.

Kincaid often interviews Constance Cumbey, a world renowned Christian opponent of the New Age Movement. Cumbey wrote the first best-selling book on the New Age Movement and ,sequentially, was a guest on EWTN, an American-based, global Catholic TV network, which broadcasts its programs throughout the USA and to 150 nations around the world. Cumbey's best-selling book on the New Age Movement is titled "Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow," it has been published in several different languages.

I occasionally correspond with Cumbey. She produced a blog post about me, wherein she presented several statements of mine that she took from an article of mine. Evidently, she was very disturbed by Kincaid's recent interview with the world renowned New Age Movement leader, an interview that Kincaid said "has caused a lot of controversy." He also said he intends to do more interviews on this topic.

The week after this "controversial" interview, Cumbey was interviewed on Kincaid's program. In the interview, titled The Coming of the New Age Messiah, Cumbey mentioned the world-renowned Matthew Fox, who she thought, decades ago, could be the New Age Messiah of the End-Times, or, in other words, the End-Times Antichrist, and she still believes Fox is a prominent New Age Movement leader. In her blog post about me she said that I was "closely affiliated with Fox." Matthew recently posted an introduction to my article titled, Pope Francis Preaches Eco-Tribalist/Hippie New Age Beliefs.

At the time when Matthew Fox was accepted as an Episcopal priest by Bishop William Swing-then the Bishop of California and the Founder and President of the United Religions Initiative (URI), an international organization affiliated with the United Nations, Lee Penn. a leading Christian opponent of the New Age Movement who worked closely with Constance Cumbey, wrote:

"The interfaith movement, including the URI, is being promoted by globalist and New Age reformers who favor erosion of national sovereignty, marginalization of traditional religions, establishment of 'global governance', and creation of a new, Earth-based 'global spirituality' -- in effect, a one-world religion. Therefore, the URI and the interfaith movement are poised to become the spiritual foundation of the New World Order."

Crystal Ball Christianity: Welcome to the Wacko World of New Age Theology

DONNA STEICHEN
Crisis Magazine
JULY 1, 1989

As part of today’s religious revival, a so-called “New Age” movement is flourishing at the point where superstition, pop-psychology, and scientific speculation intersect. Factual reports about it tend to sound exaggerated if not apocalyptic. Evangelical Christian critics like Constance Cumbey and Dave Hunt think it signals the coming of the Anti-Christ. Carl Raschke of the Institute for Humanities at the University of Denver calls it the spiritual equivalent of AIDS. A 1986 Vatican report on cults mentioned it generically as “esoteric and human potential sects.” On the whole, though, American Catholic and main-line Protestant leaders seem to see it as a fad of no more concern than pet rocks or mood rings.

Media voices seldom criticize New Age political stands as they do those of the Religious Right, no doubt because the most familiar items on the New Age political agenda are routine secular pieties: environmental protectionism, feminism, nuclear disarmament, and global understanding. Indeed, since everyone deplores war, pollution, poverty and hunger, some New Age goals are widely shared. Less noted is the movement’s general zeal for abortion, population control, heterosexual and homosexual permissiveness, and Third World revolutions of the left, or its utopian ambition to establish a “new world order.”

Under its own name, the New Age movement is usually associated with lunatic-fringe enthusiasms. Here are the revived “earth religions” of ancient (and recent feminist) mythology, worshipping the planet as Gaia, a living Mother Goddess. Here are witchcraft, shamanism, Tarot, ESP, UFO and Edgar Cayce cultists, crystals for “balancing energies,” and decorative pyramids in which to retune and display one’s crystals. Theosophy is back as a strong strain in the movement, complete with reincarnation, “occult wisdom,” “spirit guides,” and “ascended masters.” The profitable activity called “channeling” closely resembles the old séance, except that the spirits contacted are not deceased family members but 35,000-year-old strangers. For those who want them, the movement offers “out-of-body” travel, the “higher self,” “past life regression,” chakras, and tantric sex. Until they were irretrievably discredited, it also offered Charles Manson, the Reverend Jim Jones, and Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh.

Middle-Class Respectability

Those real but peripheral expressions of New Age ideas are not the whole story on this religious phenomenon, however. The New Age movement is not a centrally directed cult like the Unification Church, but an esoteric socio-religious worldview shared by many loosely affiliated autonomous groups on different intellectual and cultural levels, which at first glance seem to bear little resemblance to each other. Its central premise animates an incoming philosophical tide that reaches far beyond the local Psychic Fair.

In her instructive introduction to the New Age movement, The Aquarian Conspiracy (J.P. Tarcher, 1980), Marilyn Ferguson, publisher of Brain/Mind Bulletin and a New Age “participant observer,” described it as an “open conspiracy” of “spiritual subversives” ready to lead mankind from impending doom into an era of fulfillment. Adherents expect an imminent “quantum leap” in spiritual evolution when a “critical mass” of the human race comes to recognize “the god within” and realize that “All is One.” To speed the process, they are trying to invent a new religious mythology. They see themselves as prototypes of the higher species that will build a “planetary society” glorious in unspecified ways.

Lately, under such labels as “feminist spirituality,” “creation spirituality,” “the human potential movement,” humanistic or “transpersonal” psychology, whole brain, confluent, planetary, global or holistic education, medicine or what-have-you, that thesis turns up in unexpected places, adorned with middle-class respectability. For example, in 1922, theosophist Alice Bailey founded the Lucifer Publishing Company; she saw the fallen angel as a “bringer of light.” But today the Lucifer Company lives on as Lucis Trust, whose World Goodwill division is affiliated with the United Nations as a non-governmental organization and holds frequent forums with representatives of Planetary Citizens, the World Future Society, Greenpeace, Amnesty International, and American Friends Service Committee, to mention a few.

New Age ideas have acquired credibility by association with prominent names. Joseph Campbell, the late scholar of mythology, endorsed the movement’s implicit assumptions in his popular PBS interview series, “The Power of Myth.” Nobel laureate physicist Fritjof Capra and social scientist Willis Harman of the Stanford Research Institute, former astronaut Edgar Mitchell, and Carl Rogers, the late founding father of the Association for Humanistic Psychology, have contributed to an appearance of scientific validity.

New Age thinking has filtered into American Catholicism, too, under the sponsorship of such figures as Father Thomas Berry, the Passionist “geologian,” and Father Matthew Fox, 0.P., of the Institute for Culture and Creation Spirituality (ICCS). The self-defined witch Starhawk, who teaches ritual at Fox’s ICCS, has been dotingly featured in the National Catholic Reporter, and even reviewed respectfully by the more mainstream New York Times. Rosemary Radford Ruether and Sister Madonna Kolbenschlag, H.M., are among the many feminist theologians who promote versions of the same notions. “Futurist” Hazel Henderson was a “resource person” for the ambitious Catholic Education Futures Project. “Sacred psychologist” Jean Houston is a frequent speaker at education conferences, including those of the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA). Former United Nations bureaucrat Robert Muller, now chancellor of the University for Peace in Costa Rica, whose name appears ubiquitously on New Age letterheads, has also addressed the NCEA. Some of these people identify themselves as New Agers. Others reject such classification, and even disagree about details, but their works are prominently included in New Age bibliographies and catalogues.

The linkage between more and less plausible expressions of New Age thought is apparent in their common vocabulary and symbology, and in the common pool of prophets, heroes, teachers, activists, and authors whose names keep turning up on each other’s boards of advisors and speaker’s platforms. The central theme of all New Age groups is the depiction of God as a limited, changing, and impersonal force, co-extensive with the created universe. God is not seen as a transcendent Trinity of Persons, partially known because He has revealed Himself and because His glory is reflected in His creation. Instead He is held to be the immanent consciousness of the evolving universe, which we can all know by direct experience, because we are part of it. Teilhard de Chardin, the controversial Jesuit whom many New Agers regard as a prophet, called it “the soul of the world.” Fritjof Capra terms it the “cosmic dance of energy”; Jean Houston calls it the “emerging evolutionary process.” Matthew Fox’s book The Coming of the Cosmic Christ speaks of “the divine `I am’ in every person and creature,” and “the Cosmic Christ who will usher in an era when the whole notion of private salvation has gone the way of Newtonianism.”

Strange Gods

In New Age exhortations, everything points inward, to the self. As Roger Walsh, professor of psychiatry at the University of California, Irvine, puts it, “Authority and guidance are not ‘out there,’ in someone else. . . . Rather, the ultimate source of wisdom is within.”

From seeing the self as one with the divine essence to seeing oneself as a divine being is a short step. To paraphrase G.K. Chesterton: Shirley MacLaine worshipping the god within her turns out ultimately to mean that she worships Shirley. New Agers frequently exult “I am God,” which is immodest, at least.

If man is god, why does evil persist? Because too few have so far been “illuminated.” Once man recognizes his “godself,” New Agers believe his limitless potential can be “empowered” by mystical techniques. Such aims were identified as gnostic by political philosopher Eric Voegelin in his 1960 essay, “Ersatz Religion.”

Knowledge — gnosis— of the method of altering being is the central concern of the Gnostic . . . All Gnostic movements are involved in the project of abolishing the constitution of being, with its origin in divine, transcendental being, and replacing it with a world-immanent order of being, the perfection of which lies in the realm of human action.

This neo-Gnosticism ends in the presumption that the self creates its own reality. The notion that the material is illusion — very old in Eastern philosophy — seems utterly incompatible with Western science. Yet Stanford neuroscientist Karl Pribram suggests that the world may be a holographic illusion projected by the mind, subject to alteration by the right kind of thinking.

The study of subatomic particles led Fritjof Capra to conclude in The Turning Point that “the electron does not have objective properties independent of my mind.” In the same vein, “Ultimately, in a radical ontological sense . . . the world is a creation of the mind,” says Roger Walsh. Marilyn Ferguson in The Aquarian Conspiracy states that “events are affected by what we imagine, what we visualize. An image held in a transcendental state may be made real.” Transpersonal psychology — the theology, so to speak, of the “godself” — makes the same claim. It is a belief inevitably headed for disappointment.

A New World Religion

In public, New Age spokesmen often profess impartial benevolence toward rival religions, though they hint that all of them will be spontaneously replaced or reinterpreted into monist syncretism in the new order. “In our lifetime we will see the rise of essentially a New World Religion,” Jean Houston predicts. “I believe a new spiritual system will emerge.”

Some, like Edgar Mitchell, frankly express the hostility for Christianity that is inherent in New Age logic. Mitchell sneers at “grapevine” religions, based on “somebody else’s experience of divine reality,” and mistakenly teaching “that we’re guilty, sinful, need to be saved.”

Religions, including Christianity, “are actually roadmaps for the induction of transcendent states of consciousness,” Roger Walsh told the 1988 conference of the Association for Humanistic Psychology. Walsh praised the New Age re-education program A Course in Miracles, which, he reported, was “channeled” through psychologist Helen Schucman during the 1960s by a spirit voice telling her “Christianity is in need of correction” because it has suppressed the Gnostic wisdom that would have made it “consistent with the mystical forms of other major religions.” In Gnostic writings, Walsh said, “the picture of Jesus is not of someone claiming to be forever unique or in any way ontologically set apart from the rest of mankind,” but simply one who “has arrived at a state that is latent within us all.”

Revisionist Catholic theologians like Paul Knitter, Monika Hellwig, and Raimundo Pannikar provide some support for such opinions with their “non-normative christology.” Knitter’s 1986 book, No Other Name? (Orbis) reports their doubts about whether God really became man in Jesus Christ, whether Jesus is in fact the sole “savior figure,” or whether, perhaps, that notion is a too literal understanding of the mythic language early Christians used to express their sense that Jesus was their place of “radical encounter with God.”• These conjectures are particularly useful to the New Age movement because of the three, only Pannikar has been identified with neo-Gnosticism.

A Search for Meaning

Why do these odd people have a following? It has often been remarked that American secularists lived for several generations on the dwindling spiritual capital of their ancestors. By the 1960s, that capital was much depleted. When disillusioned materialists began to search for a new spirituality to give meaning to their lives, they fell into the old pantheist error: they assumed that God exists only within his creation, that the Creator is not distinct in any sense from what He has made. C.S. Lewis observed that pantheism “is almost as old as we are. It may be the most primitive of all religions. . . . the attitude into which the human mind automatically falls when left to itself.”

However understandable it may be that spiritual waifs should look for God in the wrong place, it is stunning if not inexplicable that educated Christians —who already know where to find Him —should not only fail to light the way for their lost sisters and brothers, but set off down the same false trail. For a believing Christian to enlist in a movement intended to replace Christianity is patently inconsistent. Yet today, absurd as it seems, many Christian religious professionals—especially women educators —are involved in the new religious movement through “goddess feminism,” “Cosmic Christ” mysticism, or the human potential movement. Either they do not understand what they are doing or they have lost their Christian faith.

Doubtless a large segment consists of the credulous who swallowed neo-Gnosticism without checking the label; even among the educated, many echo fashionable jargon without assimilating it. Others may be uncritical listeners who feel at home wherever they hear familiar words like “spiritual,” “peace,” “love,” and “light.” New Age rhetoric frequently uses Christian terms, invested with new meanings. Its “spirit” is not the Holy Spirit; its “Cosmic Christ” is not Jesus of Nazareth. But some deluded Christians may assume so.

Not all those involved are innocents misled, however. A tragic proportion, having ceased to believe in God, believe not in nothing but in anything, just as Chesterton predicted. Some know exactly what they are doing. Frequently their new faith is not spiritual at all, but political. Having abandoned both faith and ethics, they pull simpler souls behind them into it.

Feminist Goddess

Of the three neo-Gnostic subgroups where Christians are likely to be found, goddess feminism looks least like a New Age form. In fact, it looks unclassifiable, little more than political theater aimed at attracting attention to its hatred for patriarchy. But a growing number of feminist theologians, including Mary Jo Weaver and Sister Anne Carr, BVM, urge women to interpret goddess feminism from the immanentist perspective of process theology. And the middle-aged women grotesquely engaged in the spiral dance are not simply worshipping Yahweh as a Mother. When they chant, “We all come from the goddess, and to her we shall return, like drops of rain flowing to the ocean,” they are singing of “the goddess within,” a feminist version of “All is One.” In “empowerment” rituals, the dancers assure each other “I am goddess; you are goddess.”

Like other ideologies, feminism sees religion as a human construct and is engaged in designing one more compatible with its aims than Christianity. Sister Madonna Kolbenschlag puts it baldly in her book, Lost in the Land of Oz: “Our civilization’s idolatry of the abstract, omnipotent God has clouded our vision and our capacity for divinization.” Kolbenschlag and her peers have, nevertheless, “over the period of a lifetime shed our notions of God like so many worn-out husks or snake skins.” Kolbenschlag sees “possibilities for personal and social transformation” among the women who “are today forging their own authentic spirituality” as part of “the reconstruction of a God myth through the lens of their own experience.” Her experience, she reports, “opened me to myself, to my reality as a woman, and to the Holy within me . . . I met the Holy in the revelation of my own being and She was loving, a verb.” Kolbenschlag’s book is full of such nonsense, a noun.

Pioneer feminist theologian Carol Christ, in Womenspirit Rising, explained why a new religion is needed. “Symbol systems cannot simply be rejected; they must be replaced,” she wrote. “Where there is not any replacement, the mind will revert to familiar structures at times of crisis.” Witch Starhawk (nee Miriam Simos) says she invents myths and rituals as “seed crystals of new patterns that can eventually reshape culture around them.” It seems safe to conclude that goddess feminism is simply the New Age project in a feminist translation.

Matthew Fox, 0.P., is the most prominent apostle of a new mysticism that looks and sounds like the old pantheism. He has persuaded many credulous nuns, priests, and journalists that “creation spirituality” represents a theological breakthrough of cosmic proportions, although, in light of Genesis 1:3, it would scarcely seem to be news to Christians or Jews that creation is good. More troubling than Fox’s ambiguous “panentheism” is his ranting against “Christolatry” and his virulent antipathy toward the institutional Church. Only audiences seething with the same fury would be apt to find this attractive. Perhaps Fox’s followers transfer to the cosmos —as he interprets it —the religious passion theme once directed toward Jesus Christ.

Fox, under fire for his bizarre views, lists in his latest book (The Coming of the Cosmic Christ) “New Ageism” among current “pseudo-mysticisms.” Its interpretation of “past life experiences” is “excessively literal,” he complains. From time to time in his magazine Creation, he has similarly attempted to distance “creation spirituality” from the New Age movement. It is a relief to suppose that first communion classes will not be trying “past life regression” at his suggestion.

But a reading of Cosmic Christ reveals multiple parallels between Fox’s thought and New Age ideas. The magazine Creation, as well as catalogues for ICCS and Bear and Company, the publishing house Fox founded, show faculty, speakers, and topics clearly affiliated with the New Age movement. Besides Starhawk, there is Charlene Spretnak, who wrote Green Politics with Fritjof Capra, and is also the author of The Politics of Women’s Spirituality. Spretnak serves on Creation’s editorial board, along with self- proclaimed New Agers Joanna Macy and Brian Swimme. In the pages of Fox’s magazine, readers find Thomas Berry, Hazel Henderson, Patricia Mische of Global Education Associates, and Daniel Ellsberg of Pentagon Papers fame. ICCS faculty members include “transformation instructor” Shaja Kirstann, a Sufi teacher and the founder of the California Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, and Yoruba voodoo priestess Luisah Teish. Bear and Company lists both Jose Arguelles, the art historian who arranged the 1987 Harmonic Convergence —it was supposed to effect the “quantum leap” into the global New Age —and Chris Griscom, the Light Institute guru who introduced Shirley MacLaine to her higher self.

The “Cosmic Masses” with which Fox and his associates scandalize orthodox Catholics in Oakland are adaptations of a liturgical form introduced in 1975 at New York’s Episcopal Cathedral of St. John the Divine by Pir Vilayat Khan, world leader of Nizami Chistiyya Sufism. As the Pir’s “Mass” ended, he chanted: “I am the One I love, there is but One. One in All. All in One.”

Sufism is an heterodox Islamic mystical sect, brought to the United States early in this century by Pir Vilayat’s father. His mother was Ora Ray Baker, sister of Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of Christian Science. Dance Network News, the journal of the Sufi “Center for the Dances of Universal Peace,” carried Matthew Fox’s diatribe against the Vatican in its October-November 1988 issue, with a plea for “positive” letters to Cardinal Ratzinger. An editorial note added that “the Dances are at the core of Fox’s ICCS graduate program.”

Et Tu, NCEA?

Those infected with the spiritual viruses of goddess feminism or creation spirituality made some kind of conscious choice to expose themselves. It has become sadly evident in recent years that others, entirely innocent, risk exposure to neo-Gnosticism at National Catholic Education Association conventions. Has the NCEA now been drawn into the New Age vortex?

No one evangelizes for the New Age “transformation of consciousness” with more clarity or drama than Jean Houston, one-time Catholic, director of the Foundation for Mind Research, past president of the Association for Humanistic Psychology, and the leading voice of the “human potential movement.” The persistence of evil demonstrates a terminal breakdown in the old Western world view, she says, but simultaneously, improved communication technologies, the “global” women’s movement, and new discoveries in physics and “psychotechnologies” present unprecedented opportunities for a “revolution in consciousness.” If the unenlightened masses can be persuaded to accept illumination from those already transformed, they too can be “godded,” and so launched on the development of their previously submerged potential. Houston, an early LSD experimenter, is also considered an expert on non-pharmacological techniques for altering consciousness.

In her standard presentation, she tells educators that the chief responsibility for “global transformation” is in their hands. “You people right now are among the most important people alive. You are the weavers of the future . . . midwives of souls. All cultures thought that their culture was it. They were wrong. This is it, right now; this time in history!” she told the 1989 national conference of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD). “Everything is in place to make the leap —but the juice is not on.” Stimulating the “juice” that will bring in the new global age is a duty educators must accept, she said. “You are the ones who are creating the whole system transition.”

For unexplained reasons, Houston was invited to address NCEA conventions in 1982, 1984, and 1989. Protesters may deserve credit for her decision this year to speak, atypically, about St. Francis as a model of transformation. The saint has been appropriated by New Agers as he was by 1960s hippies; one pop singer is rumored to believe himself a reincarnation of Francis.

In 1985, when Houston did not appear, the NCEA had Robert Muller as a major speaker. Muller credits Houston with having launched his writing career. They often appear at the same conferences; Muller too spoke at this year’s ASCD conference.

Muller is associated with “The Robert Muller School of Ageless Wisdom” in Arlington, Texas. An accredited private institution “certified” as a “U.N. Associated School,” it uses a relentlessly New Age “World Core Curriculum” designed by Muller and promoted internationally by Gordon Cawelti, executive director of ASCD. It is designed to instruct students from birth (“Balanced Beginnings”) through high school.

The school’s 1988 Resource Catalogue offers 28 breathtaking items—curriculum materials, lesson plans, books, and computer diskettes —on such matters as “The Forces of Light,” “Education in the New Age,” “Toward a World Religion for the New Age,” “Teaching the Gaia Hypothesis,” “Visions of Peace,” and “Whole Brain” teaching. Four are books by Alice Bailey; four are from Helena Roerich and the Agni Yoga Society; one is a tape of Muller’s address at the 1982 World Goodwill seminar.

In conjunction with the U.N. University for Peace, the school co-sponsored an April 1988 conference featuring among its “Leading Lights” Muller himself; Ted Turner, president of Cable News Network; Barbara Meister-Vitale, author of Unicorns are Real; Willis Harman, president of the Institute for Noetic Sciences at Stanford University; and New Age personality Jose Arguelles.

Convention speakers are not the only New Age channel to the NCEA. Further evidence of its influence showed up in reports on a “Catholic Education Futures Project” in which the NCEA participated between 1985 and 1988, along with 20 other Catholic education agencies associated with NCEA or the United States Catholic Conference. It was summarized in the NCEA’s glossy journal, Momentum (September 1988), and discussed at two workshops at this year’s convention.

Two accompanying articles by project “resource persons” are worth special notice. Sister Sarah Fahy wrote about the importance of creation-centered spirituality in education for global citizenship. Hazel Henderson, described in the report as an “independent self-employed futurist,” wrote briefly about “our responsibility for co-creating positive futures” in an ecumenical spirit. Her name appears often on New Age advisory boards, and she has the distinction —surely dubious —of being the only woman Madonna Kolbenschlag praised by name in Oz as representative of the way “women’s spirituality . . . is building a kind of chrysalis of the future” out of which the “new world order” will emerge. The 16 books in the “Planning Phase” bibliography include one by Henderson, two by Thomas Berry, one by Fritjof Capra, one by Raimundo Pannikar, and one by Patricia Mische.

Simple prudence would recommend that educators plan for future needs; there is nothing inherently alarming about that. But one must wonder whether 'authentically' Catholic education is likely to grow out of this project.

Intellectual Embarrassment

Whether or not the NCEA means to take Catholic education into the New Age, it is clearly paying serious attention ‘to the “human potential” theories of humanistic and transpersonal psychology. Yet those ideas are not taken seriously by recognized academic and professional psychologists. A leading graduate level text by Salvatore R. Maddi, Personality Theories: A Comparative Analysis (Dorsey Press, 1989), includes no references to Jean Houston or to transpersonal psychology.

“Among academic psychologists, transpersonal psychology is almost unheard of,” said Paul Vitz, professor of psychology at New York University. “Even humanistic psychology, which moved into many of those ideas, is considered to be outside the academic world. In the universities, transpersonal psychology is essentially associated with Shirley MacLaine. No transpersonal psychology is taught in our department. But at Sierra Junior College, if there is such a place, who knows what’s going on? Somebody there may be teaching a course in transpersonal psychology.”

Why does a professional organization like the NCEA focus so strongly on ideas viewed with disdain by legitimate psychologists? “The world of education is an intellectual vacuum filled with everything from Carl Rogers to Values Clarification—which is the vaporization of any moral position —to Jean Houston,” Vitz said. “It’s a sign of the pathological condition of most of our educators that they would buy this stuff. It’s Shirley MacLaine in textbook form. It’s embarrassing.”

Marshall Fightlin, a psychologist who practices in Duluth, Minnesota, said he did not know of Jean Houston, but is painfully aware that “humanistic psychology has been the source of many of those strange ideas: that you can just follow your instincts and I can follow my instincts and somehow it will work out that we’re both right! It’s saying that you don’t have to grow up; you can just continue to function like an infant and be the center of the universe. But an adult has a lot more power to do harm than an infant has.” Fightlin says he worries about the social consequences: “There is no doubt that those attitudes contribute to the breaking up of the family. It’s a menace, a cancer in terms of family and social stability.”

Neither a residual sense of the ridiculous nor a fear of consequences has yet slowed the extraordinary surge of neo-gnosticism. In its numerous disguises it is thriving among post-Christians. It is not altogether uncommon among academics and corporate executives, booming among Unitarians and public school educators, epidemic among feminists, ecological absolutists, pacifists, and vegetarians. Anxious about personal or social problems, intrigued by the mysteries of nature and the mind, hungry for spiritual meaning, many of them might have turned for answers to authentic Christian principles, which are relevant because they are true.

But sadly, many of those in Catholic academia, bureaucracy, and religious orders failed to offer those principles because, when they encountered the well-known “spirit of Vatican II,” they assumed they were supposed to embrace the zeitgeist. And the zeitgeist is the spirit of the New Age movement, promising spiritual superiority, a comprehensive understanding of reality and knowledge of the means to manipulate it, unrestricted by objective moral law. The promises are as old as Eden.

These neo-Gnostics think they are constructing “America’s emerging culture.” They may be right. On the other hand, a religious movement led by exploiters and populated by the deluded could well prove to be as ephemeral as a soap bubble. Those who stumbled into it in the course of a genuine spiritual search may be open to Christ when the counterfeit fails —if the Church will preach with conviction. Catholic dissidents present more difficult pastoral problems, but appeasement will not move them to repentance. (Early retirement might; at least it would protect the innocent from contagion.)

There is little practical reason for optimism, but the knowledge that Christ is with us sustains Christian hope. Unlikely as it appears on a natural level, He has the power to restore His disintegrating American church to undeserved health. There is some comfort in recalling the recently evaporated arrogance of the “scientific” materialists.

Mercifully, history is full of surprises.

J,

Turns out my instincts were spot on earlier.

Fact-check: Are COVID-19 vaccines creating the coronavirus variants.
https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2021/may/28/facebook-posts/covid-19-vaccines-do-not-cause-virus-variants/

1. Several coronavirus variants emerged before the vaccines were rolled out in late 2020. The COVID-19 vaccines help reduce the spread of the virus, therefore decreasing the likelihood that it will mutate and create new variants.

2. Slow vaccine uptake can cause more variants, since the virus continually looks to evolve and escape any immunity — natural or vaccine-induced.

3. Public health experts say this doesn’t mean that people shouldn’t get vaccinated, but just the opposite, as faster uptake slows this from happening and will leave people better protected from the virus in the process.

Therefore, like I surmised, mercola’s claim is a distortion of the factual premise that slow vaccine uptake in a population can lead to the development of variants.

X

PS- it should also be noted that it is impossible for the delta variant to have been caused by vaccines.
This virus mutation was detected for the first time in October 2020 in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The first person in India to be vaccinated, however, did not receive that vaccination until January 2021, around three months after the delta variant developed.

Pps- I also mercola (or u?) are overstating the NPR article which wasn’t recommending non-vaccination as a solution to variant spreads in vaccinated as well as unvaccinated individuals. It seems to actually be suggesting we shouldn’t wait to do boosters faster bc less infection means less variants.

Why we must resist the 'New Normal'

Its advocates think we should live our lives forever in the shadow of Covid.

21st July 2021
By Frank Furedi
SPIKED-online.com

The passivity of New Zealanders in the face of Covid and the ensuing restrictions highlights a dramatic loss of agency. If this report is accurate it suggests that New Zealanders are gripped by a powerful mood of fatalism. And they seem not to be alone. Across the West, many seem to be willing to accept that they can do no other. The virus is deciding their future for them.

This marks a dangerous backwards step for humanity.

Humanity has, of course, long subjected the idea of destiny to philosophical and scientific debate. The Ancients often expressed a powerful belief in people’s potential to exercise their will and shape their future. With the ascendancy of the Enlightenment and the commanding influence of science and knowledge, belief in the creative and transformative potential of humanity flourished. When US President Franklin Roosevelt stated in 1939, ‘Men are not prisoners of fate, but only prisoners of their own minds’, he echoed the belief that people possessed the power to make their own way in the world. That Roosevelt could express such a positive view of the human condition in the dark days of 1939 indicates an admirable refusal to defer to fate.

The representation of humanity in the West today is far less flattering. Human powerlessness and vulnerability are emphasised in virtually every cultural domain. People are divested of the capacity to make conscious decisions about their lives. Indeed, even the idea that human beings are capable of reasoning, judging and acting for themselves has given way to the dogma that people lack the moral and intellectual resources to deal with a crisis – in this case a pandemic.

This tendency to depict humanity as being at the permanent mercy of events beyond its control, be they viruses or climate change, resembles the ancient practice of evoking fate as a terrifying and unstoppable force. Yet, though many Ancients were in awe of fate, they still explored the possibility that individuals might be able to influence their future.

The Romans, for instance, worshipped the goddess Fortuna, giving her great power over human affairs. But they still believed that her influence could be contained and even overcome by people of true virtue. As the saying goes: ‘Fortune favours the brave.’ The conviction that the power of fortune could be limited through human effort and will is one of the most important legacies of the humanist tradition – a tradition that revived during the Renaissance and flourished during the Enlightenment. Indeed, this tradition affirmed the belief that, in certain circumstances, humanity could gain freedom from necessity and influence its own future.

But that was then. Today, the optimistic belief in humankind’s ability to subdue the challenges it faces has been displaced by a powerful mood of fatalism.

However, we do not have to accept the dogma of the New Normal. The old normal encouraged humanity to see itself as the subjects and not the objects of history. We need to reappropriate the democratic and future-oriented spirit of the Enlightenment era. It is not up to experts sitting in their laboratories to decide what is and what is not normal. Through democratic debate, it is up to citizens to work out what kind of future they wish to inhabit. Beware the peddlers of the New Normal.

Excerpts from the link posted by Anonymous @ 6:55 PM ... Welcome to Joe Biden's Amerika:

Pentagon Tracking “Extremist” Web Searches Including “The Truth About Black Lives Matter”

“Asking questions, now extremism. Free inquiry, now extremism.”

"Reports circulating Tuesday reveal that the Pentagon is working with a contractor to track web searches that it describes as indicators of “white supremacy,” citing the phrase “the truth about black lives matter” as one example."

"Moonshot (and ADL) suggests that searching for the “truth about BLM” indicates a belief “that the BLM movement has nefarious motives,” which “is a disinformation narrative perpetuated by White supremacist groups to weaponize anti-BLM sentiment.”

“These sources echo White supremacist disinformation narratives alleging that BLM protesters are trying to ‘overthrow the republic’ and ‘harm American citizens in a Marxist coup,’ as a means of delegitimizing it,” the Moonshot research states."

"So labelling BLM Marxist means you are an extremist, even though the organisation’s own website displays objectives are unequivocally in line with neo-Marxism, and its founders have described themselves as ‘trained Marxists’."

"Appearing on Tucker Carlson’s show Tuesday night, Vince Coglianese, the editorial director of The Daily Caller discussed the Moonshot contract with the Pentagon, and noted that there is a sustained move within the Biden government to label everything as domestic extremism."

“It’s completely out of control,” Coglianese said, noting “Asking questions, now extremism. Free inquiry, now extremism. It’s getting worse.”

“Biden has gone much farther than any other president, however, to politicize every federal agency. And that includes, terrifyingly, the military,” Carlson said, adding “Biden has directed the defense department, the department that is supposed to work on keeping us safe from foreign threats, to instead turns its attention on American citizens.”

“Notice he never defined white supremacy,” Carlson said, adding “No one ever has. There is no actual definition for it. So it can apply to everyone who didn’t vote for Joe Biden. That’s why it is terrifying, that’s why you should resist it.”

Clinton Foundation Donor and NewsMax CEO (Christopher Ruddy) Writes Op/Ed Praising Biden for COVID-19 Vaccine Regime

https://bigleaguepolitics.com/clinton-foundation-donor-and-newsmax-ceo-writes-op-ed-praising-biden-for-covid-19-vaccine-regime/

NOTE: There was a time when Christopher Ruddy was a brave journalist. Way back during the Clinton Presidency, Ruddy was working for a Pittsburg newspaper (as I recall). Ruddy was a journalist lone wolf that bravely continued to expose the incredible discrepancies of the Vince Foster case. Ruddy relentlessly disclosed the facts in the case that proved that Foster did not "commit suicide," but was in fact murdered. (A side bar on the Foster case; inside the beltway operative Bret Kavanaugh, now USSC Justice, ignored the mountain of evidence and wrote the official Government cover-up that concluded that Foster committed suicide).

Somewhere along the line, Ruddy was compromised. After being a thorn in the side of Bill Clinton for so long, Ruddy suddenly became his "golfing buddy" and donated large sums of money to the thoroughly corrupt Clinton Initiative Foundation.

What turned this once brave journalist into an establishment rubber stamp? Do they have something on Ruddy? Was he bought off? Whatever it is, we know one thing; he can not be trusted.

RayB,

It's not the worst test in the world as the only time I've ever been called a Marxist in my life was by white supremacists. lol

It is a little ironic to hear white supremacists complaining about being labelled and put in a box after doing the same thing themselves for years labelling every social movement and persons involved in any social movement, no matter the level of involvement or support as "cultural marxists".

"The theory of cultural Marxism is also blatantly antisemitic, drawing on the idea of Jews as a fifth column bringing down western civilisation from within, a racist trope that has a longer history than Marxism. Like the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, the theory was fabricated to order, for a special purpose: the institution and perpetuation of culture war. We can even nominate an author for this lunacy: William S Lind, a polymath of the American hard right, who sought to put rightwing activism on a new footing as the cold war drew to a close."
...

"When the Berlin Wall fell, it was time for Lind’s strategy of “cultural conservatism” to become a central strategy for US Republicans: it identified a new kind of social enemy for the right to mobilise against. The changing parameters of economic debate and the beginning of American decline demanded that conservatives embrace a politics “centred more, not less, on cultural issues” – the family, education, crime and morality. The fairytale of cultural Marxism provided a post-communist adversary located specifically in the cultural realm – academics, Hollywood, journalists, civil rights activists and feminists. It has been a mainstay of conservative activism and rhetoric ever since.

It allows those smarting from a loss of privilege to be offered the shroud of victimhood, by pointing to a shadowy, omnipresent, quasi-foreign elite who are attempting to destroy all that is good in the world. It offers an explanation for the decline of families, small towns, patriarchal authority, and unchallenged white power: a vast, century-long left wing conspiracy. And it distracts from the most important factor in these changes: capitalism, which demands mobility, whose crises have eroded living standards, and which thus, among other things, undermines the viability of conventional family structures and the traditional lifestyles that conservatives approve of.

The story of cultural Marxism is also flexible and can be tailored to fit with the obsessions of a range of right-wing actors. As such, it’s one example of an idea from the extremes which has been mobilised by more mainstream figures and has dragged politics as a whole a little further right."

Lind's former employer, the New Republic has another article explaining the fraud of "cultural marxism". - x

"Trump’s Racism and the Myth of “Cultural Marxism”"
https://newrepublic.com/article/144317/trumps-racism-myth-cultural-marxism

Excerpt:
...
Holding up “cultural Marxists” as the mastermind of all evil in the world is not original to Higgins, but an old trope on the conspiratorial far right. The actual historical “cultural Marxists” were the Frankfurt School of social thinkers who formed in the 1920s, notably T.W. Adorno, Max Horkheimer, and Herbert Marcuse (some parallel thinkers like Antonio Gramsci and Georg Lukacs are also sometimes grouped with them). The Frankfurt School emerged during the rise of Nazism and Stalinism, both movements they opposed. What defined the Frankfurt School was their argument that a purely economic account of history was inadequate for accounting for the new dictatorships. Instead, there was a need for cultural analysis of authoritarianism, racism, and patriarchy.

During the 1960s, Herbert Marcuse, then teaching in San Diego, rose to prominence as a mentor to the New Left. Angela Davis, who also studied with Adorno, was Marcuse’s protege, and some New Left activists cited Marcuse’s abstruse works. Right-wing groups, notably the John Birch Society, made Marcuse a scapegoat for the upheavals of the 1960s. Marcuse himself received death threats from a right-wing militia. In a 1971 interview with Playboy, actor John Wayne blamed Marcuse for student protests, saying, “Marcuse has become a hero only for an articulate clique. The men that give me faith in my country are fellas like Spiro Agnew, not the Marcuses.”

The conspiracy theory was later revived in the 1980s by the paleo-conservative thinker William S. Lind, who claimed that the Frankfurt School was the foundation for political correctness. Via Lind, it has become a popular argument on the far right, often cited by figures like columnist Pat Buchanan and the Norwegian terrorist Anders Breivik. In a 2012 interview, Buchanan said, “Cultural Marxism has certainly been more successful than the economic Marxism of the 19th century and the Leninism associated with it.”

(cont)

Anonymous said...

(continued)

The theory that the Frankfurt School is the root of political correctness is historically absurd. Anti-racism, feminism, and the gay rights movement all have roots that well precede the Frankfurt School and owe far more to the activism of women, people of color, and LGBT individuals than to any German theorist. While Marcuse was friendly with the New Left, his main work dealt with themes of the impact of technology that are far removed from political activism. Although nominally they were on the political left, Adorno and the other members of the Frankfurt School had little truck with activism (and indeed were often accused by their students of being hermetically removed from practical politics). In an infamous 1969 incident, feminist students mocked what they saw as Adorno’s prudishness by baring their breasts to him. Adorno was a deeply Eurocentric thinker who hated jazz. Horkheimer defended the Vietnam War and admired the Catholic Church’s stance against birth control. These are not thinkers than can plausibly be seen as the creators of modern political correctness or debates about identity politics.

But the “cultural Marxism” myth persists because it’s convenient for the right, allowing them to pretend that bigotry is not a real problem but rather an ideology created by sinister thinkers, who, as it happens, were Jewish. As Jason Wilson noted in The Guardian, “The theory of cultural Marxism is also blatantly antisemitic, drawing on the idea of Jews as a fifth column bringing down western civilisation from within, a racist trope that has a longer history than Marxism. Like the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, the theory was fabricated to order, for a special purpose: the institution and perpetuation of culture war.”

This is gonna go over real big among regular patriotic Americans who had presumed and hoped the January 6th Maga Insurrectionists would be held fully accountable for their treason-like criminal behavior. Dr. Mudd, who got life in prison for helping James Wilkes Booth mend a broken leg after Booth assisnated Lincoln, must be spinning in his grave. Especially as arrested BLM protesters are receiving much harsher sentences, such as Emmanuel Quinones, a 25-year-old who simply brandished an assault rifle at a blm protest in Lubbock, Texas. He pled guilty to interstate threatening communications in September and was sentenced by U.S. District Judge James Wesley Hendrix to 46 months in Federal Prison. Or even Javon Martin, age 25, of Rochester, NY getting a year in Federal Prison for lighting an unoccupied trailer on fire a few hours after a blm protest there.

"Trump supporter sentenced to eight months in prison for role in Capitol riot"
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/jul/19/trump-supporter-capitol-attack-riot-sentencing

49 year old, Paul Hodgkins was sentenced on Monday to only eight months in prison for his role in the 6 January insurrection in Washington, a punishment likely to set a benchmark for later cases.

Prosecutors had asked for Hodgkins to serve 18 months, saying in a court filing he “like each rioter contributed to the collective threat to democracy” by forcing lawmakers to temporarily abandon their certification of Biden’s victory and to scramble for shelter. Speaking in court in Washington on Monday, Hodgkins apologised and said he was ashamed of his behavior.

Hopefully the doesn't set a precedent and we can all be assured the rule of law will prevail and hold these criminals fully accountable for their behavior with more appropriate punishments.

The overly simplistic broadbrush you advocate, X, is exactly why we know it is BS.

Your denials don't prevent the truth that all who are looking can see. You further make the point that it really is going on, on a massive scale, just like this very particular blog has warned and warned for years. And your blending Christianity into it, to adulterate it, joining them at the hip, that victim status can be used as an excuse for forced social changes you want for all the "poor downtrodden" in this country which was founded to become and in very large part is, the land of opportunity...well actually it was the land of opportunity...until Biden most especially now and under the tutelage of his mentor Obama (Soros and globalist plant) are making sure it is not...is anti-gospel...uses anti-God psychological warfare tactics to implement, is only more proof that you are not in the least interested in solving any issues, bringing real unity to the people of this nation. You are pushing the narrative very opposite that. You advocate fear and loathing, not opportunity, freedom, and healing relations across the board.
You want uniformity instead. Plain and simple, is all you are up to or you would not have caved to fall in line to such godlessness and chaos as you push here, that has to mandated and manipulated to achieve "success", forcing it's "acceptance". That is not how God changes the world by His grace--the polar opposite. I thought you were trusting His plan in the words you write about how you believe, but not the case in reality, post by post, you prove you trust in the opposite of God's intended plan. That is the vast difference in how true social change for the betterment of all people happens, true opportunity and true equity, working it out in details over time with real blood sweat and tears to get there, from all of the peoples, individually, and with the aim of collectively letting our society better, rather than your ideology that is very much Marxist in it's characteristics and goals.
The only ones winning the game you play are the elitists who need the rest of us pitted against each other to use it against the whole lot for control.
Why are you so blind to this, especially at a blog that has already exposed the roots of what you are supporting and pushing so relentlessly? Have you not read Constance's work of years? Are you here only to infiltrate and harass?..Because that is your method. Right out of Alinsky's playbook and so pervasive in centers of education, in think tanks, high offices and within the minds of filthy rich board room egotists, that is spreading the poison widely through every sector of our society. Where in hell have you been? Under a rock somewhere?
The American public has been sufficiently dumbed-down or this would not be happening on this scale. And through all this, through a long period of time, God has weighed America's heart and she has been found wanting.
I'm glad God wins in the end. Your global team is killing people off in multiple ways and the bloodshed hasn't even fully come yet. You rather stink at real Christianity in my book, to go at it from this perspective and practice.
Why do you even live in America then? Ah...but it butters your bread so well.
Ingrate.

This sums up "X" in a nutshell ...

"A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue."
- Proverbs 17:4

Notice how "X" always sides with those that are liars, along with the violent BLM/ANTIFA movements? How he deflects and sidesteps obvious facts? He's deluded because he is wicked, proven by the wicked people and their philosophies that he defends.

RayB said...

X states:

Literally HUNDREDS of BLM & ANTIFA rioters were NOT PROSECUTED for their crimes of looting, destruction, arson and violence. If X wasn't silent about these criminals and anarchists, he was defending them.

"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil."

Anonymous said...

You are spot on to highlight that proverb, RayB.

His nutshell is still to make it all about hating one man, because in that, he proves his hate for his own countrymen, and those who he says he is akin to in the body of Christ.
Hate sums up "X".

J,

Are you saying all former students are leftists?

I believe most college professors, outside the humanities departments, are centrists to center-left. As are MOST students. Colleges, trying to save money, hire more and more part-time young professors and the students are young too. Young people are always more progressive (as you were at one time).

College is a time to explore ideas outside the conservative mindsets of their parents. Young adults, who have yet to fully develop their brains, SEEk OUT alternative ideas. It's what makes those classes and professors interesting and popular.

Doesn't mean students don't fall back into conservatism once they have houses, jobs, spouses and kids and re-engage with elders in their normal society. It's easy to be a "leftist" when you have nothing to lose if "they" ever were to actually decide to eat the rich.

It bothers me when kids go to college and come home atheisists too but nothing has shipwrecked faith in God in the US more than 1. prosperity gospel 2. tying the republican party to religion.

As far as facebook moderation, social media, by and large, doesn't filter misinformation enough. Misinformation drives attention and drives revenue for these companies. They play a good game publicly pretending to moderate this stuff but facebook largely was responsible for Trump winning in 2016 and they all participate in the revenue-generating fake news cycles. Moderation only comes later after the hype calms down.

Cleaning up old scientific misinformation about masks is about 1 year too late if you ask me. Medical staff in hospitals have worn masks without incident for 60 hours a week- 50 weeks a year for years.

Further, not every "peer-reviewed Journal" is reliable. For example, your recently mentioned "expert" Yehuda Shoefeld, in a 2016 study, claimed to show abnormal behavior, caused by ASIA, in mice given the human papillomavirus vaccine or an aluminum adjuvant. The study was published in Vaccine, but later withdrawn. “Review by the Editor-in-Chief and evaluation by outside experts confirmed that the methodology is seriously flawed, and the claims that the article makes are unjustified,” a note on Vaccine’s website states. The paper was republished a few months later under almost the exact same title in Immunologic Research, where Shoenfeld is on the editorial board.

Publishing (especially self-publishing) in a peer-reviewed journal doesn't mean all that much until the peers actually review it...if legitimate peers even see it. Then the peer reviews need reviewing too because statistics leave a lot of room for gamesmanship.

Did you happen to see Dr. Kory at FLCCC released a statement pretty much saying what you said the other day about the one study not negating their entire study on Ivermectin? Time will tell. I'm hopeful it's even more helpful than I suspect but in many countries, something cheap like ivermectin might make a significant difference if it alone can even save 10% or 20%. The stories out of some of these countries like Myanmar are awful.

Woe unto them who call evil good and good evil is so correct.
What happens when you abandon the Lord who gave this nation it's place in time in this world. A pretty good beginning comparatively, but ending sad...broken.
And falling short as men always do, now this nation is going the way of all men.

Only God rules righteously.

I simply defended Reihold (or however you spell his name) like you defended Rittenhouse. I was fine with his arrest and simply pointed out he probably had a better shot at a self-defense defense than Rittenhouse, who you defended. I was not fine with Federal Marshalls executing him under curious circumstances just as you wouldn't have been fine with Federal Marshalls executing Rittenhouse.

The violence, looting and rioting after largely peaceful BLM protests in some cities, involved many citizens being arrested. They didn't catch or arrest everyone and some young adults got processed, released and, later, had their charges dropped. That said there WERE thousands upon thousands arrested and many face lifelong consequences for their childish behavior. Likewise, the federal government has arrested and charged only about 500 of the potential 10,000 plus that attacked federal officers and/or stepped over barriers at the Capitol Building January 6th. It appears many of those 500 who undertook much more serious felonies, as full-grown adults, attempting a coup and other treason-like behavior, are going to get mostly just a slap on the wrist.

Everyone is culpable for their behavior.

"These Black Lives Matter Protesters Had No Idea How One Arrest Could Alter Their Lives"

https://time.com/5880229/arrests-black-lives-matter-protests-impact/

"Demonstrations against racism and police violence led to more than 7,600 arrests in the U.S. in May and June 2020, according to the Crowd Counting Consortium, which collects data from news reports. An Associated Press tally found more than 10,000 protesters were arrested in just the first 10 days after Floyd’s death on May 25. Amid the ongoing protests, many of those jailed, however briefly, are coming to terms with the repercussions of their decisions to take part in a major moment in history. Young protesters, particularly those of color, face chilling consequences on top of prosecution, including costly fines, loss of employment and a stigma that legal experts say could affect their ability to obtain housing, jobs, education and occupational licenses. “My confidence and my faith that I’ll get everything back on track is shattered,” Sandidge says.

Orlando criminal-defense lawyer James Smith says the racial disparity in protest arrests is not surprising. Black Americans in general are more likely than white Americans to be arrested, convicted and given lengthy prison sentences, according to a 2018 report by the Sentencing Project, a nonprofit focused on reforming the U.S. criminal-justice system. There are many reasons for the disparity, the report found, including racial biases at every level of the justice system, including among police officers, prosecutors, judges, jurors and parole boards. Black and Hispanic defendants are more likely than white defendants to be denied bail, according to the report, and they’re more likely to accept plea deals—even if they protest their innocence—because they’re less likely to be able to afford costly legal battles.

The recent round of arrests “highlights the racial double standard here in this nation,” says Smith, who represents seven arrested protesters, all of them Black or Hispanic.

The disparities go beyond arrests. When it comes to employment, an arrest or conviction can decrease the likelihood of getting a callback for jobs, especially if an applicant is a person of color, says Beth Avery, a senior staff attorney with the National Employment Law Project (NELP). That means Black and Hispanic protesters will be most affected in the long term if they’re arrested at demonstrations. “These protests going on all around the country are all about racial inequities and bias in our criminal legal system, and it doesn’t stop with the police,” Avery says. “It permeates throughout all these other aspects of life.”

One major reason for the historical blackout on the role of [such people as] the international bankers in political history is that the Rothschilds were Jewish. Anti-Semites have played into the hands of the conspiracy by trying to portray the entire conspiracy as Jewish. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The traditionally Anglo-Saxon J. P. Morgan and Rockefeller international banking institutions have played a key role in the conspiracy.

But there is no denying the importance of the Rothschilds and their satellites. However, it is just as unreasonable and immoral to blame all Jews for the crimes of the Rothschilds as it is to hold all Baptists accountable for the crimes of the Rockefellers.

The Jewish members of the conspiracy have used an organization called the Anti-Defamation League as an instrument to try to convince everyone that any mention of the Rothschilds or their allies is an attack on all Jews. In this way they have stifled almost all honest scholarship on international bankers and made the subject taboo within universities. Any individual or book exploring this subject is immediately attacked by hundreds of ADL committees all over the country. The ADL has never let truth or logic interfere with its highly professional smear jobs. When no evidence is apparent, the ADL, which staunchly opposed so-called "McCarthyism," accuses people of being "latent anti-Semites."

Can you imagine how they would yowl and scream if someone accused them of being "latent" Communists?

You can't cloak it with your many words.
And Blacks and Hispanics particularly, though you can't make yourself admit it, came out in droves to vote in the 2020 election, voting the opposite of your platform, and summarily disenfranchised by your political party and it's nefarious election tallies.

Just here,

Thank you for contributing your thoughts and opinion. Yes I have a bias.

As far as blacks and hispanics coming out in droves for Trump. Despite Trump telling you that happened...it didn't really happen.

While going from 6% to 8% of the Black vote nationally IS a 33% increase....it is not really something to brag about. I believe in swing states where minorities were more likely to feel compelled to vote and believe they could make a difference...that 33% gain didn't really occur there.

Further, "an analysis of votes cast in 13 states is the most comprehensive look at how Latinos voted in the 2020 general election. In 12 of those states, Latinos supported Biden over President Donald Trump by a margin of at least 2 to 1. And in nine of the 13 — including the battleground states of Wisconsin and Pennsylvania — the margin was at least 3 to 1. Only in Florida was Biden’s margin among Latino voters less than 2 to 1." (link below)

For example, in PA there was no gain from 2016 in the black vote (92%-7% for Biden & Hillary) and just a 10% swing in the Hispanic vote (69-27% Biden vs 74-22% Hillary). In Michigan, Biden and Hillary both received 92% of black vote and Trump lost the Hispanic vote 55-44 to Biden versus 59-38 for Clinton. In Florida, Biden did better among Blacks winning 89-10% over Trump whereas Clinton only won Blacks 84-8% with 3rd party candidates taking the rest.

Other than Florida, where Trump apparently made large gains in the Cuban communities around Miami in 2020 over 2016, Biden still dominated the Black and Latino vote.

Ultimately the landslide victory for our country came down to 7% more patriotic men (and 8% more patriotic white men) nationally voted for Biden than Hillary in 2016.

1. Yeah, I meant to say "prosperity gospel, word of faith as well as Bethel/Hillsong". I was encouraged to see numbers have stabilized and mainstream churches are actually making a comeback the last couple years.

2&3 That's how I've been framed here by others. Just because I think the republican party is full up with hypocritical, ecumenical, apostates doesn't mean I've "sold out" to the progressive and/or democrats. But the democrats aren't pretending to be the Christian party. They aren't lying to me. Proverbs 9:10 "“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." NKJV. The democrats are comprised of a bunch of wisdom and knowledge-lacking idiots that I see as a more ripe mission field for finding the elect than heretical liars who claim to already have knowledge and wisdom but are already filled up to their eyebrows with a Kundalini Spirit and who think they are channeling God while in new age contemplative prayer. At least the atheist is honest and genuinely naive versus full-grown adults pretending to worship my God and invoking His name in prayers while behaving like children and/or committing federal crimes. See Qanon Shaman prayer on Senate Floor Jan 6th - https://youtu.be/270F8s5TEKY?t=505

3. I find it very short-sighted and crazy to continuing partnering and handing over power to the Roman Catholic Church. They have a long history of destroying states with the over-mixing religion and politics. I would LOVE to have a 3rd party Protestant Party where we stop trying to be in any way ecumenical with the Roman Catholic Church. 50% of Catholics vote is democrat and 50% is republican so a Protestant 3rd party, inclusive of Black protestants, could really make a difference even if only as a minority party. It could also make a huge difference in unifying our country socially. Further, the elites that control the left and right (and don't care how we fight it out among ourselves) would have another party to contend with full of real image bearers (hopefully) of Christ not so easily (hopefully) persuaded by power to lie, cheat and steal.

I actually find 2021 Bill Lind kind of interesting (he's not a trump supporter). He's a prolific writer so I'm not sure which book or books of his I want to read just yet but we'll see. Might just go to the library and pull all of them and speed read/skim what looks interesting. His one idea to Here's an interview he gave.

Michael Lind Wants to Put America Back Together
https://www.texasmonthly.com/news-politics/michael-lind-class-war-book/

Excerpt:

"I think that’s going to be the real tension. We think it’s all about race now, but I think over time that’s going to fade somewhat and religion will be the enduring cleavage. It was historically in the U.S. because the Protestant/Catholic cleavage is almost as deep in American society as the black/white cleavage going all the way back to the colonial period, nineteenth century, twentieth century. I think there’s a danger of this new secular/religious divide, and we have to work out some kind of modus vivendi where the two sides can agree to disagree and live together."

Just saw on youtube the Rick Warren has apparently resigned at Saddleback Church.

In the comments the name Madyson Marquette was mentioned as a potential cause and scandal.

It's Qanon-related and the article below is an extremely biased far-left source (not a subscriber - lol) so I doubt there is any truth to it.

"Kenneth Copeland, T.D. Jakes, & Rick Warren are being accused of sexual abuse:QAnon isn't just targeting liberal celebrities and politicians any longer. Now they're coming for the evangelical leaders who supported them."

https://www.lgbtqnation.com/2021/07/kenneth-copeland-t-d-jakes-rick-warren-accused-sexual-abuse/

Excerpt:

"Madyson Marquette, a woman who says she is a former adult film actor, has stepped forward now to level allegations that turn the tables on the conspiracy theories fiercest supporters. She says she was sexually abused by Kenneth Copeland, T.D. Jakes, Rick Warren, and the late Billy Graham. She also claims that Joel Osteen was present at other pedophile “parties,” but he “didn’t do that stuff.”

“I can tell you since I’ve started speaking, now more women have come forward,” she said in a podcast with other QAnon believers. “I named Kenneth Copeland and another brave soul, she’s like, ‘Listen, I want to come forward, will you share my post?’ And people went and attacked her on her post for coming forward. … The women do come forward and say, ‘This happened to me, I have the evidence,’ and and then you’re gonna go attack them because you maybe were fooled by these pastors? The same thing with Tyler Perry, Greg Laurie, Rick Warren, all of these pastors trafficked me, and we’ve put them on a pedestal and made them gods.”

“I say a million times over, Billy Graham and the ones that have trafficked and done things to me and that are doing it now. They have a demon inside them.”

X 1:32 PM,

I believe most college professors, outside the humanities departments, are centrists to center-left. As are MOST students. Colleges, trying to save money, hire more and more part-time young professors and the students are young too. Young people are always more progressive (as you were at one time).

I would not completely disagree, but I would recast it a little bit. I would say that each generation can't completely transcend their parents, so that even if they think they are progressive, they may still hold contradictory ideas in tension, mediated by emotion. Later generations then become more logical with the very same premises, because incrementally, they have less of a remnant of internalized opposing ideas to hold in tension with those premises (cultural Marxist premises).

Let's use South Park as a sort of example and a sort of bench mark. In my generation, my progressive friends and I still giggled at South Park. In the current generation the creators of South Park stated that reality is more ridiculous than their cartoons, and they can't keep up with satirizing it any longer.

J said...

Note: By later generations becoming more logical, what I meant was that later generations tend to take a culturally accepted premise to its ultimate logical extreme.

Progressivism’s Collapse and Why it Matters

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2021/07/progressivisms_collapse_and_why_it_matters_.html

Because progressivism is a failed doctrine -- or as Lenin may have said, progressivism was useful until it wasn’t, just as socialism is transitional to communism. Today, we’re not up against progressives gone bad, but against a new generation of elites who’ve been inculcated with hard-left worldviews. These elites were nurtured to be this way, in many cases, coming from milieus -- families, communities, schools -- that increasingly embrace Marxist doctrine, whatever mask it wears.

I don't know if the accusations are true or not. For the record, Johnny Enlow has been speaking out about sexual predators in the church for more than 30 years. He was formerly a part of Earl Paulk's ministry. He is a part of the NAR, and most especially what he terms the "7-mountain mandate." Also, Billy Graham was named many years ago as sexual predator by Cathy O'Brien, mind control victim. I'm just pointing out that this isn't anything new. QAnon claims to be bringing darkness to light, so it will be interesting to see how far they go with this. There is much more to QAnon than conspiracy theories and I still believe it's a dangerous entity.

J,

Times may change but morals never do. There is only one truth and generation upon generation, in times of prosperity and peace have always wandered from such. This occurred long before Marxism ever became an idea. Sin is sin and being human means (finding) suffering.

Which is probably why war is cyclical. People forget how awful it is/was.

Neighborhoods, towns, cities, counties, states, countries and all makes and models of people come together and find unity when they are burying their 18-24 year old children. They also tend to rediscover God, probably as an attempt to make sense of the deaths and violence.

As to that americanthinker article. Aren't you tired of the same old marxist emergency being trotted out again and again? We have had some forms/aspects of socialism in the US forever. Our military, police, fire departments, social security, medicare and medicaid.

Successful laissez-faire capitalism works best on the bedrock of Judeo-Christian values. The passing of faith from one generation to the next is the responsibility of parents. Baby boomers failed to pass it to Gen X and Gen x failed to Gen Z, etc. Blaming schools, colleges, Jews from Frankfort, Germany 100 years ago and elitists for our children and grandchildren failing to follow us in faith is just blameshifting. Absent those values being dominant in society and governance...you're just picking your poisons...and we can't make people religious. We can only share the gospel and invite them...God does the rest, or not. Until then we have to all get along.

"Until then we have to all get along."
Aw. You sentimental fool, you.
Thing is..
How does one get along with what is killing them, literally killing them...themselves, their families, their society, their nation?
Ideas, when not based out of God's goodness (the Bible) but out of man's own humanistic innate sinful nature, become actions that end up killing and killing again, again, and again.
Your dreamy view of the world ideas that are posted redundantly all over this blog, are not based on the actual Gospel, no matter how much you try to twist and manipulate it that way. Humanism belongs to the New Age which is nothing but recycled Old Paganism and the antithesis of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Humanism belongs to every ism from any and every era, and with it is today's Progressivism, Socialism, Communism, straight up Marxism...all straight from of hell.
Love thy neighbor as thyself is Divine, and will never belong to humanism, and as a supposed Christian it is telling that you don't get that or you would not defend it's practice, advocate it as answers to the social ills in it's ploys and schemes to force people to "love" and "get along" with each other.
Actually you pretty much force yourself onto this blog. That's a terrible way to "get along" as you call it. The truth we can listen to, what you peddle we simply can't, but you doggedly keep at your dogmatism...ideology like yours, that wants to force fit it to a Bible view of the world.
What drove you over the edge of reason to take up hellhole thinking?

He said that vaccine hesitancy wasn't just among Republicans... that in some African American and Hispanic communities in Florida, there is a high hesitancy to get the vaccine for a whole variety of reasons.

"It’s really not a partisan issue. I don’t care what the polling says. At the end of the day, the vaccine is the vaccine. It’s a human thing and you either take it, or you don’t. Rep. Boebert Demands to Know Why Biden Regime Keeping Capitol Protesters in Lockdown While Antifa Rioters Go Free

"A group of Republican lawmakers led by freshmen Rep. “Reports are circulating that the Biden regime has held January 6th rioters in solitary confinement, while at the same time, they are letting BLM rioters that attacked federal buildings off with just a few hours of community service,” Boebert said.

“This is not an equal standard of justice. I condemn all forms of political violence, and all political violence must be prosecuted fairly,” she added.

You probably saw this ...

California passed Proposition 47, which mandates that "theft under $950 shall not be prosecuted." As a result, more often than not, police are not even responding to calls that report shoplifting. Why? Because, according to the police, their "hands are tied" and there is "nothing we can do about it."

There is a VERY thin wall that separates our society from one that is relatively law abiding to one of all out chaos and anarchy. If people think that what is happening right now in South Africa couldn't happen here, they are under a strong delusion. We've already seen this play out on a large scale during 2020 in response to the contrived hype surrounding "George Floyd." What will be the next "event" that will ignite an even more dangerous round of looting, robbing, rape, arson and murder?

As always Christians must be not only loving but also truthful. You said it yourself before. Let me remind you. The Word divides us. RayB said it so well before. Peace if possible; truth at all cost. Not truth if possible; peace at all cost.

And always remember that loving people is different than enabling or spoiling people. Christian love isn't a lyric in a rock song, it isn't a meme on FaceBook with a rainbow saying "love is love," it isn't a lot of popular abuses of the word "love." Imagine how loving the homeless men would consider it to be, if I were to give pity sex to every homeless man I met. But how would God view that? That wouldn't be a true example of Biblical love of my neighbor, would it?

Be careful not to misuse the word and the concept "love." Don't cheapen it as the culture does. If you are a Christian be not conformed to this world.

As always the words we use need to be grounded in the Bible, or else they are just New Age thoughts or Marxist thoughts or humanist thoughts dressed up in Christianized language.

Good question. And the Bible doesn't have good things to say about people who do not defend their own household.

In our culture, our responsibilities are expanded beyond our household, since we have a concept and a semblance of representational leadership.

It seems to me we have a responsibility to protect that which we cherish if what we are cherishing is good, true and just. It doesn't have to be perfect. Nobody's children are perfect. Nobody's household is perfect. No plaintiff in the history of the world has ever been perfect, and there have never been any perfect nations. If rights require perfection, nobody has any rights. If only perfect people and things can be protected, then nothing and nobody can be protected.

There can be traps and pit-falls for us as Christians. We shouldn't become evil to fight evil, of course. I think the pre-emptive and lie-based Iraq war of the George W. Bush era was evil. But I don't think defense of America per se is evil. Why would enabling Communists and New Agers and transhumanists be good? I don't see how it can be.

All the spoiled children who benefit from the America that others sacrificed to preserve for them should be more thankful for their freedoms. In Communist China the BLM protesters would be shot down with tanks. The eco-terrorist just nominated to Biden's cabinet would be rotting in prison or dead.

I was thinking about Obama's snarky speech referencing the sermon on the mount, saying "folks haven't been reading their Bibles," implying it would disastrous for foreign policy. So I looked this up. I'm sure it's not the be all and end all exegesis, but I wanted to get this into the open, since I feel unexamined assumptions may be weaponized against Christians at times.

Self-defense – What does the Bible say?

Many people have a confused view about what the Bible says in regards to self-defense. The law given in Exodus 22:2-3 says that if a man breaks into a home to steal at night, the home-owner has the right to kill him in defense. In daylight, when the home-owner can see that he is there to steal and not to kill, he cannot kill the thief in defense. In Luke 22:37-39, Jesus explains it is good to be appropriately armed. In Proverbs 25:21-22 and Romans 12:17, Scriptures say to not repay evil with evil, but to bless your enemies. And in Matthew 5:39, Jesus said if someone slaps your right cheek, offer them your left as well.

The Bible has very few laws regarding self-defense, but plenty of examples. When Lot and his people were captured, Abram had no problem rescuing him with force (Genesis 14:13-16). In Luke 22:36, Jesus advised His disciples to take swords along with their other provisions. Then again, David refused to harm Saul, even though Saul was trying to kill him. And Jesus scolded Peter for using a sword to fight off the guards that were taking Jesus away (John 18:10-11).

What's the difference? The timing and the situation. In a situation with an unknown aggressor with unknown intent, as in Exodus 22:2, it is okay to use self-defense. If the offense has already occurred, as in Proverbs 25 and Romans 12, we should not take the law into our own hands, but seek justice through the authorities. David refused to kill Saul because Saul was God's anointed king and authority. Jesus condemned Peter's action not because of his intent to defend Christ, but because Peter was getting in the way of God's plan for the guards to take Jesus. The Matthew 5 passage is stickiest. It appears to say that we are to take whatever abuse comes our way quietly. But a "slap on the cheek" didn't mean physical violence. It refers to an insult against honor. We are not to defend our honor with physical violence, but shrug it off.

Another situation that occasionally comes up is what if a wife is a trained fighter and the husband is not? Should the husband, as protector, defend his wife? Or should he let his wife be the aggressor? Although the Bible allows that women may be involved in battle, the Bible doesn't speak of this specific scenario. It's best if the husband and wife talk about this beforehand. They need to know each other's strengths and determine how to work together before the threat even arises.

These are the examples we should follow—to determine the real threat and wisely act accordingly. It is fine to be armed, but it is better to escape unscathed than to needlessly kill an attacker.

The Chinese are more just than we are here in the U.S.

North Korea is a more just nation also.

Same for Russia

The U.S. is Babylon, and it's remaining days are few.

The U.S. has always been a wicked and rebellious nation.
