I have been watching many videos and doing much reading about Qanon. The more I
read, the more alarmed I become. QANON is NOT OF GOD and it is DANGEROUS. A very
informative video illustrating Qanon origins and direction is HBO's current
series ON THE STORM. If you have access to HBO documentaries, please make every
effort to watch it. Friends of mine came back from Antrim County, Michigan. They
told me that they were making statements there that Donald Trump would be
reinstated as President of the USA in August 2021. Both high unlikely, not to
mention delusional! Michael Lindell, MY PILLOW owner and CEO spoke, I'm told at
the Antrim County, Michigan rally. My friends tell me the book LOVE JOY TRUMP
was being actively marketed and sold there. Lindell wrote the foreword for that
book. The book is one of the worst combinations of New Apostolic Reform and
outright NEW AGE occultism I have seen together in one place. I am hearing
statistics that many Evangelicals believe Qanon is correct. This lack of

FNC’s Carlson: ‘The Biden Administration Is Spying on Us — We’ve Confirmed That’

Monday, FNC host Tucker Carlson said the federal government was spying on him and those associated with his program, which Carlson said was revealed through a whistleblower within the government.
According to Carlson, the proof was the whistleblower revealed details of a story they had been working on that could have only been known through texts and emails.
Carlson said his team had filed a Freedom of Information Act request and called on the federal government to cease the behavior immediately.
Partial transcript as follows:
CARLSON: So, Joe Biden told us recently that the single gravest terror threat this country faces is not Islamic radicalism, ISIS or al Qaeda, as the government has told us for 20 years now. It’s not the brutal mobs of race extremists who burned and looted our cities last summer, BLM and Antifa, as — if you’ve been paying attention — you’d assume it would be, of course. They’re the ones who burned the cities.
No, it’s none of that. The main threat we face as a nation, Biden told us, is white supremacy — white American terrorists. Our intelligence and law enforcement agencies have concluded that, the president said. It’s an established fact.
Strangely, that’s all Biden told us. He never said who these white supremacists were. He didn’t explain what they believe, or what they plan to do to America. He announced no arrests. He didn’t name a single person or organization. Who is the white Osama bin Laden? Joe Biden didn’t say. Neither did his attorney general, Merrick Garland, when he reiterated Biden’s claim several days later.
So, the rest of us are left to wonder: Who exactly are these domestic terrorists? We still don’t know the answer. Neither do many longtime FBI agents, as we learned this weekend when we spoke to a couple of them. Biden’s claim is absurd, they told us. It’s not even close to true.
In recent years there have been so few crimes committed by avowed white supremacists, that the FBI strongly considered dismantling the office within the domestic terror division that investigates white supremacist groups. As the agents put it, “The number of cases the program manager had didn’t justify the position. There was nothing for him to do.”
For decades, by contrast, the greatest domestic terror threat has come from radical environmental groups. They commit the most crimes. Look it up. White supremacists are at the bottom of the list. Federal statistics prove this. Americans are much more likely to die from a lightening strike than at the hands of a white supremacist. White supremacy may be ugly. Many opinions are. But it’s not a meaningful threat to the nation. Claiming otherwise is a lie.
So why does the Biden administration persist in telling that lie? Well it’s a racial attack, obviously. It is waged for partisan political purposes. Tell black voters that Republicans are the KKK, and maybe they’ll keep voting for you. That’s the idea. It’s certainly easier than fixing Chicago or raising test scores, which they should be doing. But there’s also a deeper significance. The Biden administration is signaling a very real change to actual federal policy. The war on terror, now ongoing for 20 years, has pivoted. It’s now being waged against American citizens — opponents of the regime.
We saw this on display on January 6. We told you a couple of weeks ago, based on the language in publicly-available indictments, that the FBI clearly had foreknowledge of the riot at the Capitol that day. The agents we spoke to this weekend confirmed that’s true.
Quote: “The FBI had sources in that crowd — confidential courses, snitches. That’s 100% certain.”
But it’s not just political protesters the government is spying on.
Yesterday, we heard from a whistleblower within the U.S. government, who reached out to warn us that the NSA, the National Security Agency, is monitoring our electronic communications, and is planning to leak them, in an attempt take this show off the air. Now, that’s a shocking claim, and ordinarily we’d be skeptical of it. It’s illegal for the NSA to spy on American citizens. It’s a crime. This isn’t a third-world country. Things like that shouldn’t happen here. But, unfortunately, they do — and in this case, they did.
The whistleblower, who is in a position to know, repeated back to us information about a story we’re working on that could only have come directly from my texts and emails. There’s no other possible source for that information, period. The NSA captured it without our knowledge for political reasons. The Biden administration is spying on us. We’ve confirmed that.
This morning we filed a FOIA request, a Freedom of Information Act request, asking for all information the NSA and other agencies have gathered about this show. We did it mostly as formality. We contacted the press office at the FBI and the NSA. We don’t expect to hear much back. Only Congress can force transparency on the intelligence agencies — and they should, immediately. Spying on opposition journalists is incompatible with democracy. If they’re doing it to us — and again, they are definitely doing it to us — they’re almost certainly doing it to others. This is scary, and we need to stop it right away.

Obviously, the reason for the spying is to catch Carlson saying something in PRIVATE that would merit having him being pulled off the air. Silencing the opposition is an age old tactic. This is exactly how totalitarian societies operate, and history illustrates that point.
When the Bolsheviks finally took power in Russia after the other "revolutionary" factions failed, all churches were closed in order to stem any verbal opposition from organized religion. They then moved on the press. The Communist government took over all of the existing media. Opposition journalists either converted to the new secular religion of Communism, or were executed. All educational institutions were dealt with in the same, ruthless manner. Truth was literally outlawed. The people were fed nothing but lies for the next almost 80 years, until the whole rotting mess finally collapsed under its own evil weight. Of course, the entire aforementioned process was repeated by Communist China, which still exists.
In Germany, the Nazis persecuted the churches that held to their proclaimed faith, while, with few exceptions, the RCC thrived, due to the Reich/Vatican Concordat of 1933. All other opposition to the state was silenced. Newspapers that independently reported the news were either destroyed or taken over by the State. The Propaganda Ministry issued the "people's radios," which used the new technology to indoctrinate the people. Using these devices to listen to "foreign radio" broadcasts came at a price; 5 years in a brutal Nazi-run prison.

Make no mistake about this; America is traveling along the same path that ultimately leads to totalitarianism. We are close to that now. What's more is this; ALL of this opposition to God is by design. It is the spirit of antichrist that is behind it all. The Beast system is advancing at an alarming pace. In response to all of this, people continue to speculate as to who they think this superman might be. It's already here folks, and it has been actively working since the Apostolic age. It is not something "new" as in New Age. It is old age. It has its roots firmly planted in the Paganism of Babylon which continues to manifest its Satanic opposition to Christ and His Kingdom.

NOTE: I stated on this blog several years ago that Rome will eventually sanction the LGBTQ agenda. The reason? Because Rome is a religious chameleon that will morph in accordance to what popular society dictates. As more conservative Catholics age and die off, they are being replaced by young Catholics, which reject the rigidity of the past. These young Catholics also happen to be very pro-LGBTQ. In response, Rome has moved in that direction in order to be more "relevant" during these changing times.

A Christian Rebuttal To Christianity Today’s Anti-Intellectual Piece On Jesus And Guns

One of the greatest disappointments to me within American Christendom these days is the growing intellectual malaise amongst those who, by virtue of their own professed worldview, have greater reason than any group to grow their minds to spiritual maturity.
The country's most notable pastors are rarely serious thinkers; they are far too often intellectual lightweights who gain notoriety for being trendy, overly political, or intentionally provocative.
America's leading Christian universities, likely under mounting financial pressure, have submitted their conservatorship of theological development and biblical scholarship to the flimsy art of pop psychology, lightly glazed in the language of the faithful.
Consequently, when Christian voices emerge on topics of cultural importance, they are rarely if ever significant, profound, or even well-reasoned.
The latest example of this sorry trend came when Christianity Today made the decision to publish an adaptation of Taylor Schumann's upcoming anti-gun book, "Beyond Thoughts and Prayers." Schumann is a survivor of the April 2013 shooting at New River Community College in Christiansburg, Virginia.
The shooter killed two women and injured two others, including Schumann. After surgery and therapy, she now has partial use of her left hand, but has been left scarred both physically and emotionally from the ordeal. No one can blame her, and it is both laudable and commendable that Schumann seeks to turn her tragic experience into something positive for humanity.
The problem with Schumann's piece isn't that she lacks credibility or an obvious impetus for involving herself in the societal debate over guns; it's that she apparently refuses to do the hard work of detaching emotionally from her ordeal in order to make coherent, composed, and reasoned points.
For instance, the first three paragraphs of Schumann's piece are dedicated to a victim-narrative – not "victim of a shooting," but "victim of mean conservatives who oppose her political position on guns." She writes of this mistreatment,
"I was somehow labeled unpatriotic and un-American for wanting to reduce gun violence."
To say this claim strains credulity is an understatement. No one, not even the most ardent Second Amendment advocate, celebrates gun violence. Legitimate progress on the issue will only occur when it is mutually understood that all sides in the culture's gun debate have the same objective – reducing violent crime and death – even if they have starkly differing policy approaches on how to achieve it.
Schumann's refusal to grant her opposition this simple acknowledgement, and instead smear them as fans of human suffering, is as disappointing as it is disingenuous. But the activist author was just warming up.
"I am angry that people are taught to cling to their personal freedoms and their individual comforts above caring for real life human people. I am angry that the God I believe in, the one who teaches us to love our neighbors, to sacrifice our lives for that of our friend, and to consider others more important than ourselves has been turned into a justification for a right he did not bestow and an ideology that looks nothing like him."
It seems impossible that someone who publishes both books and think-pieces on guns at publications like Christianity Today or left-wing blogs like Sojourners can be unaware that it is often armed citizens running into deadly situations to save lives – like David French outlined in detail here –that are "caring for real life human people," loving their neighbors, willing to sacrifice their lives for strangers, and considering the life of another innocent person more important than their own. Don't professing Christian authors like Ms. Schumann have a responsibility to acknowledge them?
The trouble with that irresponsible and likely intentional oversight is only compounded by the almost juvenile logic offered in Schumann's succeeding paragraph:
"[E]ven if guns were banned tomorrow, why should we be so afraid? If you know and love Jesus and are going to spend eternity in Heaven with him, why does the idea of not having guns anymore scare you so much?"
Is this considered Christian scholarship these days? Is this what now passes muster for intelligent discourse at Christianity Today? Ask yourself, would I be making a sound, objectively reasoned point in this debate by posing the reverse of the query back to Schumann?
"Even if guns were in the hands of every citizen, why should we be so afraid? If you know and love Jesus and are going to spend eternity in Heaven with him, why does the idea of everyone having guns scare you so much?"
Of course not. The fact that we Christians anticipate the glory to come does not translate to an ambivalence towards personal and public safety in the here and now. That desire – personal and public safety – is precisely why Schumann wrote her book and this article in the first place, is it not?
Well, that desire – personal and public safety – is also the exact reason her policy opponents advocate for the right to keep and bear arms. Schumann's inability to recognize and address that reality makes her entire appeal little more than standpoint epistemology.
Christians can and must demand of one another better thinking than that in the public square.

I'm pretty sure that you will agree with me when I say that Christianity Today has been an ecumenical, liberal rag for decades. So it's no surprise to see that CT wants to take away our right to protect ourselves.
I recently read the Biblical account of when Jesus was betrayed by Judas and subsequently arrested. I noticed that Peter struck one of the guards with a sword while attempting to defend his Master. Of course, knowing that this was his appointed destiny, Jesus rebuked him and then healed the guard's damaged ear. However, this thought occurred to me; where did Peter get his sword from? The answer is obvious ... it was HIS SWORD! Think about that. Peter was armed. Interesting, don't you think?
From the opposite spectrum ... I have a long time "Christian" acquaintance that is a very avid reader. Unfortunately, he is not now, nor has he ever been, well grounded in Biblical faith. He gets blown around (literally) by every wind of doctrine that he is exposed to. One day, he called in order to tell me about this "fascinating" book he read on pacifism. He went on to declare that he was now a "pacifist." I asked him to explain, in detail, what he meant by that. He went on and on about "turning the cheek" etc. even to the point of not defending himself. He also said if "we were invaded" as a country, we should "turn the cheek." I let him talk, and when he finished, I said: "Suppose your home was invaded and the criminals wanted to rape, torture and kill your wife and two daughters. Suppose too that you had the means to prevent this, what would you do?" Amazingly, he said "I'd have to turn the cheek!" I told him that that was one of the nuttiest things I've ever heard and suggested that he read a healthy dose of the Old Testament to see how God dealt with such barbarians. I haven't heard from him for several years now.
Radical Liberalism, like Marxism, has an appeal to those that are living in an imaginary, utopian world that never existed and never will exist, due entirely to the fallen nature, and depravity of man. This lesson has been proven to be true over and over and over again. Yet, these fellow travelers are deluded into thinking that they'll "get it right this time ... it just needs a little tweaking."
Not only do we have a right to defend ourselves and our families, we have an obligation to do so. Criminals will NEVER give up their weapons. Why should law abiding citizens be compelled to do so?

Nowhere in the Holy Bible does it say it was Peter's sword. There are many ways Peter could have got a sword, including snatching one out of its clasp from one of the soldiers within an instant before striking, but my point too is supposition. The Bible does not say it was only for a special purpose that one was not to live by the sword. You will be judged by the sword which proceeds from the mouth of God, Ray B., if you live by weapons. We are to turn the other cheek, and we do not fight flesh and blood, but spiritual wickedness in high places. We are mere strangers and sejourners here, born again and no longer children of this world but of that which is to come.

About the use of a sword...Jesus allowed it, limited it, issued a warning with it, and intended it's use basically as a last resort for defense, not a first response. Peter used it in a wrong way, he used it offensively, at a wrong time, because Jesus knew that was not the time to fight..His hour had come to be Savior and He submitted himself into the hands of those who would put him to death. But disciples might need to defend their families, other believers, and why Jesus did not say not to ever have or take up one to use against an enemy.
Read that for yourself to take in the whole scenario and about that topic in all the Gospels and see the much more balanced understanding Jesus spoke with about it.

I agree with you. In ancient times travel was dangerous. Cities had walls around them. Traveling from one city to another involved being out in the open with no walls. It was often simply on foot, and robbers were common. I think it was customary when traveling to carry swords to defend against highway robbers. That is likely the historical context of the apostles carrying their swords with them when they accompanied Jesus.
Matthew 26:52: "Then said Jesus unto him [Simon Peter], Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." (KJV) This, it is said, proves that Christians have no right to keep and bear arms if the government said it was illegal to do so. However, with all due respect, this interpretation is opposed to the overwhelming evidence of Scripture to the contrary.
In the first place, consider what Jesus said just a few moments before making this statement. Just before arriving in the Garden of Gethsemane (where the statement was made to Peter to "put up thy sword"), Jesus told his disciples, "But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one." (Luke 22:36 KJV)
After hearing Jesus' command, the disciples replied, "Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough." (Luke 22:38 KJV)
Notice that Jesus plainly and emphatically told Simon Peter and the others to arm themselves. So emphatic was Jesus' command that He told them if they could not afford to purchase a sword they were instructed to sell their clothes if necessary and buy one.
After hearing Jesus' command to arm themselves, the disciples noted that already two of the disciples were carrying arms. Jesus' response, "It is enough," did not mean that only two swords (out of eleven men – Judas Iscariot had already left to betray Christ) was sufficient, for He had plainly commanded EACH MAN to arm himself. He was simply acknowledging that they clearly understood what He had just told them.
Ladies and gentlemen, the First Century Roman sword was the most efficient and lethal personal defense weapon in the world at the time. It is no hyperbole or injustice to language to say that the Roman sword was the First Century equivalent to a modern AR-15 semi-automatic rifle. It was designed to kill swiftly and efficiently. And Jesus commanded His disciples to buy and carry one!
Also note that the same word "sword" that is used in this passage is the same word that is used in Romans 13:4, "He (government) beareth not the sword in vain." In other words, Jesus told His disciples to carry the same-type weapon that government soldiers were carrying at the time.
After this exchange, Jesus and His disciples walked to the Garden of Gethsemane where the events of Peter and the sword took place.
Simon Peter had already told Jesus that he was willing to die for him (yes, Jesus rightly predicted his denial, knowing how Simon would react to the events that unfolded in the garden), and when the armed soldiers from the High Priest (tantamount to the President's Secret Service officers today) came to arrest Jesus, Simon Peter drew his sword in defense of his Master. He either was an accomplished swordsman intending to cut off an ear as a 'warning shot' or he intended to cut off the soldier's head and the man ducked, and as a result Simon instead cleanly sliced off his ear.
Notice that Jesus did not rebuke or chastise Simon. Remember when He sternly told Simon, "Get thee behind me, Satan"? No such rebuke is found here. And notice, too, that He did not tell Simon to "GIVE UP thy sword." He said "PUT UP again thy sword into his place," meaning into its scabbard. He fully expected Simon to retain possession of his sword.
It is also noteworthy that as Jesus was being arrested, the power of God through His voice totally overwhelmed the soldiers, which caused all of them to sway backward and fall to the ground. (John 18:6) This accomplished a couple of things: it caused every soldier in that garden to fully understand that theirs was not the preeminent power present. It also allowed His eleven disciples to leave unscathed TAKING THEIR WEAPONS WITH THEM, as the soldiers were either totally distracted by the surprise of what had just happened to them, or they were totally disinterested in attempting to disarm the disciples after this incredible demonstration of power against them.
But as Jesus had come to this earth to give Himself a ransom for sinful men, which meant that His betrayal, arrest, and crucifixion were all a part of God's sovereign plan for His only begotten Son, Simon's armed defense of Christ was not necessary. Jesus calmly reminded Simon of the legions of angels that were available for His defense, should He call on them. Then Jesus gave Simon the assurance that "all they that live by the sword shall perish with the sword."
And despite what you've heard so many preachers say regarding this verse, this was not a WARNING to Simon Peter; it was a PROMISE to Simon Peter.
What Jesus was doing was assuring Simon Peter that the tyrannical Roman and Jewish forces that were now using the sword against Him would one day themselves be destroyed by the sword, but that it would not be Simon's sword that would be the one to do this. In other words, Jesus was stating a divine principle that tyrants and despots who unjustly rule with the power of the sword would one day be brought to the judgment of the sword.
Jesus' statement had nothing to do with Christians disarming themselves in the face of tyrants; it had everything to do with God's pronouncement of judgment upon tyrants who force their will on people by the power of the sword. He was saying, "Those who ruthlessly rule and govern by the sword will be brought to justice by the sword." THAT is what Jesus said.
Did Jesus' promise come true? You bet it did. A few years later, the Jewish nation was destroyed by the Roman sword; and a few years after that, the Roman nation was destroyed by the sword of the Goths, et al.
This promise to tyrants is repeated by the Apostle John in Revelation 13:10. Here Jesus inspired John to write, "He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints."
The context of Revelation 13:10 is unmistakable: those who put men into captivity by force shall themselves be put into captivity by force; those who kill with the sword shall themselves be killed with the sword. John then adds: "Here is the patience and the faith of the saints." In other words, the victimized, terrorized saints can take comfort in the fact that God will send His judgment to the oppressors in the like manner in which they oppressed others.
What John said in Revelation 13:10 was a repeat of what He had heard Jesus say in Matthew 26:52. Jesus telling Peter to put up his sword has absolutely nothing to do with Christians willingly surrendering their arms to an oppressive government. Instead, it is a promise to oppressors that if you live and rule by the sword, you will die by the sword!
And since Jesus had commanded them to do so, we can assume that His disciples carried their own personal arms for the rest of their lives. Yes, yes, I realize that the disciples allowed themselves to be martyred for their faith. They CHOSE to not "accept deliverance," (Hebrews 11:35) as did the famed missionary, Jim Elliott, who was armed at the time of his death, and, therefore, was fully capable of defending himself against the savages that attacked him, but CHOSE to not defend himself, and thereby accepted the martyr's death. But these examples have nothing to do with the divine principle of lawful self-defense, which Jesus duly recognized in His instructions to His disciples.
Let us examine in context the passage in Luke 22, starting with verse 35 and concluding with verse 38.
And He said to them, “When I sent you out without money belt and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?” They said, “No, nothing.”
And He said to them, “But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one.
“For I tell you that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me, ‘And He was numbered with transgressors’; for that which refers to Me has its fulfillment.”
They said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.” And He said to them, “It is enough.”
Two things stand out to me. First Jesus mentions a money belt, bag, and sandals. But in the next verse he mentions a money belt, bag, and sword. And of the three items, only the sword is to be purchased if necessary.
It seems the sword was the most urgent item to acquire, while the disciples were to take along a money belt and bag if they already had these items. There is a reason for this, and I will get to it in a moment. First, let us look at Mason Wheeler’s interpretation:
Up until this point, the disciples had operated under the aegis of both Roman and Jewish law. They were seen as just another group of disciples of some charismatic Rabbi. If he had some strange ideas he was teaching, well, so did plenty of others.
But now, all that was about to change. He was going to be taken by the Jews, tried and convicted and put to death by the Romans. Suddenly their Master’s public status was about to go from “eccentric Rabbi” to “criminal condemned for stirring up trouble with the Romans,” which would turn those who supported him into fugitives, at least temporarily.
Here, he was trying to explain to them that they would need to be prepared to stay mobile (side note: the word fugitive comes from a Latin root meaning “to flee”): they would need to always have a purse (for money) and a bag (to carry basic supplies) ready, and that a sword (for protection against other men) was to be more important to them than a cloak (for protection against the elements) in the days to come.
I agree with Wheeler in principle. Part of what Jesus said was to prepare the disciples for the days ahead, during which they would be considered fugitives.
But let’s get back to Luke 22. Jesus explains in verses 37 and 38 why the swords were needed. It was so that Jesus would be “numbered with transgressors.” This is why when the disciples say, “Here are two swords,” Jesus says, “It is enough.”
One sword would not have been enough because Jesus was to be numbered with transgressors (plural). Therefore, two swords were needed to fulfill the prophecy. (This prophecy was fulfilled yet again when Jesus hung on a cross between two thieves.)
When “the chief priests and officers of the temple and elders” came against Jesus, his disciples asked, “Lord, shall we strike with the sword?” Note that Jesus does not reply.
Peter then draws his sword (one of the two swords the disciples had among them) and strikes Malchus, the slave of the high priest.
After this incident, Jesus reveals more of his peaceful nature when he commands his disciples, “Stop! No more of this,” and then heals Malchus’ ear.
So the two swords were needed for that very moment in the garden, and Jesus allowed the violence to happen to fulfill the prophecy that he would be numbered with the transgressors. In fact, this is how Jesus explains it himself.
What does this mean for us today? Should Christians have swords and guns for self-defense?
I believe that is up to each Christian to decide for himself. At the same time, I think it is important to remember that God has given us a better sword — “the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ephesians 6:17). Hebrews 4:12 says:
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
We see the power of this better sword in the same scene in the Garden of Gethsemane. When Jesus asks, “Whom do you seek?” They answer, “Jesus the Nazarene.” When Jesus says, “I am He,” they all drew back and fell to the ground (John 18:6).
That’s powerful!
It is also important to remember what Paul says in Ephesians 6:12-13.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
Note regarding: "It is also noteworthy that as Jesus was being arrested, the power of God through His voice totally overwhelmed the soldiers, which caused all of them to sway backward and fall to the ground. (John 18:6)"
That is to say that the ones evilly coming out to take Jesus were under the power of heavy demonic influence which is what caused them to fall back when thusly so confronted by the power of God.

I didn't respond before now because a) it's basically a rhetorical statement and b) because that particular magazine's not something that I have read for many years as the few things that I had read were not sufficiently Biblically accurate enough to entice me to continue reading their articles (so I have no knowledge of how they may or may not have changed their writings in the past decades since) and therefore could not fairly comment on the magazine anyway even if I had wanted to, although that being said, I have neither any reason to doubt that it "has been an ecumenical, liberal rag for decades." I'd suppose that that is unfortunately all too true.
(But regardless I'm glad that you spoke up about it too as you evidently HAVE been reading it muc more recently!)

It has amazed me the level of cognitive dissonance, with regards to government schools, that exists among conservatives ever since the COVID-19 tyranny began.
On the one hand, conservatives are decrying the indoctrination taking place with the advent of the 1619 Project or Critical Race Theory (CRT). On the other hand, conservatives clamor to reopen the government schools so they can push their kids back into the system they recognize is indoctrinating them.
Conservatives all too often forget history and quickly abandon principles. Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly rightly fought against Common Core and President Barrack Obama’s use of executive orders to push a national curriculum. When President Donald Trump used executive orders to form the 1776 Commission for “the development of a pro-American curriculum,” conservatives cheered on his abuse of power.
“American conservatives looking for an intellectual home should avoid claptrap like the 1776 Commission and its intellectual sibling, ‘The 1619 Project.’ They are in reality two sides of the same coin,” wrote author and historian Brion McClanahan.
Last week, the Liberty Loft published a piece* from the Daily Signal in which Pastor Voddie Baucham Jr. takes on CRT and its Marxist roots. In the end, Baucham says CRT is “at odds with the Scriptures.”
Baucham is absolutely correct, but do you think he’s worried about his kids being indoctrinated by the system? I doubt it. Afterall, he and his wife Bridget homeschooled their 9 children.
“If we continue to send our children to Caesar for their education, we need to stop being surprised when they come home as Romans…. The system wants you to be a slave. I’m a free man. My children are mine, not wards of the state. The government has no jurisdiction over my children,” Baucham said in a 2008 sermon.
Baucham explained how “90 percent of Christians allow our government to educate their children,” and the result is “somewhere between 70 and 88 percent” rejecting Christianity by the end of the first year of college. He references Luke 6:40 which states: “A pupil is not above his teacher; but everyone, after he has been fully trained will be like his teacher.”
Before conservatives can be effective, they must understand what they are fighting for. It must be a principled fight. If the goal is to stop CRT then conservatives will lose and, in fact, have already lost. The fight isn’t CRT or any other objectionable curriculum, it’s the system itself.
Conservatives fear socialism being taught to their kids while ignoring that they are training their kids to be socialists by merely sending their kids to the government schools to begin with.
The 10th plank of the Communist Manifesto is “free education for all children in government schools.” The government school system, starting with the first compulsory schools in Boston in 1819, itself is anti-American and most definitely never was Christian. Horace Mann, known as the father of government schooling, said: “We, who are engaged in the sacred cause of education, are entitled to look upon all parents as having given hostages to our cause.”
Even the most conservative of jurists agree with Mann through affirmation of the legal doctrine of “in loco parentis,” or in the place of parents, including Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas in a 2007 ruling, Morse v. Frederick.
Those same teachers who the courts say are your kids’ parents in your place are the same ones who run around screaming like petulant children themselves demanding more of our money. They, as a 2011 CBS report states, are the dumbest students entering college and receive the highest grades in college because “education” is the easiest major. And, “nearly 10 percent of public-school students have been targeted with unwanted sexual attention from school staff,” as stated by filmmaker Colin Gunn in his 2011 documentary Indoctrination. Contrast that with studies finding 4 percent of Catholic priests being abusive. That led to a mass exodus from the church, yet American parents keep sending their kids to the predators in the government schools.
CRT is just the new boogeyman for the political right which will continue losing if they keep fighting the way they always do. Conservatives fought very hard against Darwinism in the 1960’s, and today it is taught as gospel truth to your kids every day in the church of the state. Conservatives fought very hard against sex education. Planned Parenthood, whose profit motive is dependent on young children having unwanted pregnancies, has produced a “comprehensive sex education” guide for K-12 students in government schools since 1991.
Rest assured that CRT is already in the government classrooms and has been for a long time. When Republican politicians say they are going to remove funding from schools that teach CRT, understand that they are doing absolutely nothing but trying to score political points. CRT is already there and will remain there until conservatives actually start attacking the system. Remember, it is your responsibility to train up your child, just check Proverbs 22:6, and Brian Rohrbough, whose son was killed in the 1999 Columbine shooting, understands that all too well.
“I put him in a pagan school where they teach there is no god, there is no creation,” Rohrboughsaid. “There’s evolution based on a cosmic accident, and evolution breaks down to one simple belief, and that is ‘that the strong kill the weak as a form of survival and that there’s nothing wrong with that.’”
Rohrbough added: “(The murderers) had taken evolution much further than most people do. But if you stop and think through it, their logic was correct if evolution is true. And yet, it is taught in the school, and I put my son there even though I’m a Christian. So, when you talk about my son’s murder, yes, it’s right to condemn these two murderers, it’s right to condemn the school system that taught these wicked things. But you must remember, I’m the one who put him there,and I’m the one who’s responsible for his death.”

The author of the article made good points and had good intentions. But in my opinion this author makes snap judgements about parents.
I see three problems. Both of these problems can potentially be solved, but not always very easily.
If the author were so serious about shaming conservative parents into homeschooling, it would be helpful if -- in addition to the shaming -- this author would have given thought to some problems and their solutions.
1) Kids need to be with other kids one way or another. If homeschooling parents have a way to make that happen, great.
2) It's kind of hard for just one homeschooling parent to provide every opportunity that a school can provide: sports, band, choir, art, STEM, science, all kinds of extracurricular clubs, the prom -- the whole ball of wax along with reading, writing and math.
3) Work. Kids tend to cripple efficiency even if one is simply trying to cook a meal or clean the joint, let alone do paid employment at home or run a business at home.
4) Parent burn-out. Throughout history kids have been with kids and not with Mom all day every day. My own mother was a stay-at-home mother, but she practiced a parenting style of benign neglect, and we roamed the neighborhood freely with other kids in the neighborhood. My great-grandmother didn't yell at the kids until they did something really wild, like riding a donkey three at a time into a shed. Other than that they were rough and rowdy and unsupervised in their neighborhood of farms and woods.
You might be surprised how non-sedate people frequently were historically compared to nowadays. Now we are expected to keep our kids polite and controlled and safe and educated and watched and hovered over and entertained relentlessly 24/7. We can't let them go live in their child's world with other kids in the community because we don't trust our community.
So if I could speak to the author, I would say: don't judge mothers of today by comparing them to complete fantasy ideas from the past.
This author is so judgemental that it makes me want to ask if he or she ever had any kids?
I wanted to be on the same side as the author, and I suppose I really am, but it was just too much for me.
I kept thinking of more problems as I went along and didn't completely edit it, LOL. I started with two, thought of one more, then one more.
I thought of one more question I'd like to ask the author. I wonder how he or she reacts to unruly or annoying neighborhood children?
I wonder how this author would react if a neighbor's kid tried to build a tree house in a tree right on the property line?
Or what about if the neighbor's kid was out playing with the dogs in the yard and didn't keep the dogs well under control, and then the dogs crapped on the lawn or peed on the mailbox or did something even worse?

I posted the article to show a somewhat different take on the CRT issue and so to be frankly thought-provoking and so then to maybe come up with some good insights to further the anti-CRT cause and you have done so. Wuhan Flu -- the name we dare not call covid 19 -- may have backfired on Chairman Xi by weakening Red China's economy. The Gatestone Institute said now is the time to end trade with Red China and help the CCP collapse as it nears its centennial.
Gatestone reported, "The real problem for Beijing is that consumption, the only sustainable part of the Chinese economy, looks far softer than officially reported, something evident from the widely followed China Beige Book survey. Spending will not fully recover until the coronavirus pandemic passes, and that is unlikely to happen soon due to China's barely effective vaccines."
If true, that is what happens when you rely on stealing technology rather than investing in your own research. Of course, research requires critical thinking, which endangers communism because people who think for themselves come to the conclusion that communism is unworkable.
The USA should leverage trade. Red China needs us more than we need Red China. We invented computer chips. We can go back to making them. We should scrap all the exotic plans for windmill factories, solar panels, and electric cars. Instead, we should build our steel factories and the like. Instead of relying on foreign manufacturers, we should become a net exporter again.
Curiously, Josef Biden has not gotten around to ending tariffs on Red China's exports.
President Trump's goal of America becoming self-reliant again upset Washington politicians because they are reliant on bribes from Red China.
But Red China is dependent on the world, too. Communists cut a deal with students after Tiananmen Square. Red China would be capitalist when it came to economics, but communist on the political end. That it lasted 32 years is remarkable because no one trusts China, especially the Chinese.
Western politicians trust Red China because its checks clear the bank. For a few million in bribes, Red China has raked in trillions in trade surpluses, which finance its military and the public works projects that keep people at home happy.
President Trump took them on, but now that he's temporarily out of the picture Red China's diplomatic corps wants to punish his allies. That is a problem.
The Wall Street Journal reported, "China’s leadership is straining to dial back its country’s chest-thumping Wolf Warrior approach to foreign policy, afraid it has begun to undermine the country’s interests, according to people familiar with the matter.
"The effort has been impaired by nationalist fervor in the country, the people said, which is only intensifying as the party marks the 100th anniversary of its founding this week.
"The Wolf Warrior ethos—named after a nationalistic Chinese film franchise about a Rambo-like action hero who battles American-led mercenary groups—took hold among China’s previously staid diplomats during the Trump administration as they responded to what Beijing saw as spurious Western attacks on China. Much of the new approach has played out on Twitter, where diplomats have fired off a barrage of barbs, threats and conspiracy theories, many of them targeting the U.S.
"High-level meetings about moderating China’s aggressive diplomacy date to April, motivated by concern that the strategy has alienated the U.S. and other countries in ways that risk isolating the Chinese economy."
And according to Gatestone, Red China's domestic economy is hurting.
Gatestone said, "To defend itself, the United States should declare that its policy is to end the rule of China's Communist Party.
"At the moment, the Party is especially vulnerable because China's economy is weaker than reported and the country is still dependent on the American market.
"Beijing's National Bureau of Statistics reported an 18.3% growth of gross domestic product in the first quarter of this year compared to the same quarter in 2020. Fortune described the results as eye-popping.
"China's Q1 result, however, was probably inflated and in any event fell below consensus estimates. Tellingly, the country's Q1 GDP registered only a 0.6% increase from the previous quarter. That figure trailed the 2.6% quarter-on-quarter growth between the third and fourth quarters of last year."
Punishing Apple, Nike, and other companies that use slave labor in Red China would send a powerful message. It also would give American shoe companies and the like a hole in the market to fill.
I see no reason to have any dealings with Red China whatsoever. We ignored Red China for 23 years from the communist takeover in 1949 to Nixon's trip to Peking in 1972.
That was a golden age for the American economy.
I am not blaming Red China for our troubles. I am merely pointing out that we were better off without Red China.
Let's go back to that, because we would be stronger and the Chinese Communist Party could collapse.

A Washington Post writer is calling for children to be exposed to bizarre sex practices at Pride events.
Yes, really.
Lauren Rowello, an “autistic” writer and former “sex worker” who identifies as “they”, penned an op-ed Tuesday for WaPo called “Yes, kink belongs at Pride. And I want my kids to see it.”
In it, Rowello described a situation where her own children saw “kink” behaviors on display for the first time during a Pride event in Philadelphia.
“When our children grew tired of marching, we plopped onto a nearby curb. Just as we got settled, our elementary-schooler pointed in the direction of oncoming floats, raising an eyebrow at a bare-chested man in dark sunglasses whose black suspenders clipped into a leather thong,” Rowello wrote.
“The man paused to be spanked playfully by a partner with a flog. ‘What are they doing?’ my curious kid asked as our toddler cheered them on. The pair was the first of a few dozen kinksters who danced down the street, laughing together as they twirled their whips and batons, some leading companions by leashes. At the time, my children were too young to understand the nuance of the situation, but I told them the truth: That these folks were members of our community celebrating who they are and what they like to do.”
Rowello explained that children shouldn’t be deprived of watching degenerate sex acts at Pride parades.
“If we want our children to learn and grow from their experiences at Pride, we should hope that they’ll encounter kink when they attend. How else can they learn about the scope and vitality of queer life?” Rowello wrote.
“Including kink in Pride opens space for families to have necessary and powerful conversations with young people about health, safety, consent, and — most uniquely — pleasure.”
Rowello then described the training of these children to be voyeurs as “kink visibility,” and that shielding children from these things amounts to “censorship.”
“Kink visibility is a reminder that any person can and should shamelessly explore what brings joy and excitement,” she wrote. “We don’t talk to our children enough about pursuing sex to fulfill carnal needs that delight and captivate us in the moment.”
“If we’re afraid to talk about kink with our children, we prioritize the status quo — sanitizing and censoring their access to information about appropriate and normal self-expression,” she concluded.

I've been trying to understand CRT in a nutshell, and I think this may be it. It's not about the redistribution of wealth. It's about the redistribution of privilege.
But the peculiarity of it is that it ignores class and ignores money for the most part. It focuses on race first and gender second. If wealth is mentioned it is mentioned only to illustrate privilege but then to get you to rapidly equate money privilege to social privilege and then to get you to fixate only on social privilege.
It's kind of like a social tax needs to be assessed, one penny at a time, one micro-aggression at a time. It's the bitcoin of social transactions.
From there I started to think of dystopian science fiction, combining social credit with social media, then moving on to transhumanism in which people will be always connected through either wearable technology and smart houses and smart cars -- or even through being micro-chipped.
At that point I had to stop thinking about it, because I don't have time to write a novel, LOL.
But seriously I see disparate things converging into one horrible thing. I feel like these things are surrounding us and getting close to us and close to each other all at the same time. When/if these disparate trends connected and converged, they would connect *through us* with us caught right in the middle. People would be at the nexus.

Hey Republicans, you can crack open the entire story of January 6, 2021 (“1/6”) with one simple question: what relationship do the FBI and Army Counterintelligence have with Stewart Rhodes?
Stewart Rhodes is the founder, boss and kingpin of the Oath Keepers.
Whatever the truth of these hyperbolic claims, the fact remains: the Oath Keepers are the most extensively prosecuted paramilitary group alleged to be involved in 1/6. Indeed, it was the alleged “pre-planned assault” on the Capitol by Stewart Rhodes’s alleged Oath Keepers lieutenants that was used as the key talking point to try to convert the day’s events from a protest into an “insurrection.”
But Stewart Rhodes is not simply a key figure in the Oath Keepers. Stewart Rhodes is the Oath Keepers, according to Oath Keepers board member Richard Mack.
Elmer Stewart Rhodes III — a one-time Army paratrooper, disbarred Yale lawyer, constitutionalist, gun enthusiast, and far-right media star — founded the group called the Oath Keepers in 2009. Since then, he has ridden crosscurrents of American anger and strife that ran from scrubby Western deserts to angry urban protests right into the Capitol rotunda.

He said it had become clear that the board had no real power. “[Stewart Rhodes] is the Oath Keepers. It’s hard to separate the two,” Mack said. “It’s his organization, and he can do what he wants to do.”

A mere indictment of Stewart Rhodes, today, for the same conspiracy charges alleged against his underlings, would collapse the entire “threat” of the Oath Keepers that the country has heard so much about. From NPR:
Rhodes is the central figure of the organization. He is the founder, leader and center of gravity for the group. In theory, then, an indictment against Rhodes could lead to the group’s collapse.
The Justice Department argues that Stewart Rhodes both substantially organized and activated an imputed plan to use violence, on 1/6, in real-time, through a series of encrypted Signal messages beginning at 1:38 p.m., as Trump concluded his rally speech on the National Mall, and 62 minutes before Oath Keepers lieutenants allegedly formed a “military stack” to rush the Capitol doors.
These facts alone, as alleged, are more than legally sufficient to secure an indictment of Stewart Rhodes. We will walk you through the mountains of direct and circumstantial evidence built on top of these allegations, but readers must understand this: the only reason Stewart Rhodes is not in jail *right now* is because of a deliberate decision by the Justice Department to protect him.
Indeed, it is unclear whether the FBI has even sought to search Stewart Rhodes’s residence, personal belongings, or electronic devices, other than a single iPhone allegedly seized on the streets from agents in unmarked FBI vehicles in late April (since returned). For reasons discussed below, there is good reason to suspect the FBI will pursue a tightly controlled and very limited scope of investigation into Stewart Rhodes,. Beyond that narrow scope, they may not want the information they are likely to find.
Why doesn’t anyone at the FBI or DOJ want him?
If 1/6 was an “insurrection,” why protect the one man who, more than any other individual referenced in the charging documents of the 530+ open criminal cases, comes closest to the media’s ravenous description of a “lead insurrectionist?”
Is it possible that the Oath Keepers, the most prominent antigovernment group in the United States, has been run, in effect, by the United States government itself — and nobody has mentioned it until now?
Revolver News generated tremendous discussion and controversy with our previous piece exploring the possibility that some of the unindicted individuals referred to in the 1/6 charging documents may be undercover agents or informants.
With this piece, we intend to focus this discussion on a single individual, Person One; i.e., Stewart Rhodes — the leader of the Oath Keepers.
If it turns out that Stewart Rhodes has had a relationship with the federal government, the implications would be nothing short of staggering.
For Stewart Rhodes is not just a senior member of the Oath Keepers, he is the Oath Keepers. Given the fact that the Oath Keepers are the major paramilitary organization imputed (by government and media alike) to be responsible for the most serious and egregious elements of the so-called 1/6 insurrection, it follows that it would not only be fair, but necessary to conclude that in an essential respect the 1/6 event was planned and orchestrated by elements of the government itself.
In other words, 1/6 was not the result of an intelligence failure as FBI Director Christopher Wray, the US Senate, and the media tells us. Rather, 1/6 was the result of an intelligence set-up.

The reality is this; GOP Presidential Nominees to the Supreme Court often turn out to be anti-Constitutional liberals. However, many do in fact remain true to the Constitution. Democrats, to their credit, actually support the rule of law (as though "laws" were made by the Republican courts). Sure democrats justices exist and are/were supporting evil TOO, but I'm attempting or pretending to cast Democrats as being the actual "Christian" party. Neither are. US elections, for Christians is simply a weighing of two evils.
Critical Race Theory is a dog whistle. A republican hypocritical attempt at 'cancel culture". Most schools are just teaching more inclusive American History lessons that naturally include some extra discussions of racism. One or two sentence in an entire textbook is not the whole theory. While I don't like CRT itself, "courageous conversations" is actually more descript by limiting it to a subjective story-telling point of view, intrinsically biased and limited to a moment in time, versus just the way [white] people are. As an aside, it seems odd to have conservatives reject local government control of their schools. Rushing to make state and local laws controlling curriculum seems short-sighted.
Rather than be afraid or intimidated by CRT, maybe we use it as a tool to help minorities see how their issues are just tools of manipulation used by new age conservatives in power to stoke fear and remain in power. Let them know that true change comes from the heart, and a person who has a true heart change is no longer motivated by the attainment or maintaining of benefits, rather he or she is willing to sacrifice everything for the cause of truth and justice, even to the point of death. Jesus said in Luke 6:35, Love your enemies, Do good, lend, and do not expect anything in return… This is true change. This type of heart change can only come through a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

My husband's employee who had a stroke after his second Pfizer shot is still out on leave. His memory hasn't returned to normal. Another employee experienced heart palpitations and shortness of breath after his second shot. He went to the doctor to get checked out. He asked, "Could it be the vaccine?" He expected the doctor to tell him the vaccine is generally safe. But the doctor did not say that. Instead, he said he's seen so many people come in with adverse vaccine reactions that he doesn't think we're being told the truth about how safe the COVID vaccines are.
Many of my extended family members have been vaxxed without lasting adverse reactions. Two of the women in the family became sick for several days with flu-like symptoms after their second shot. But they recovered.
If I think about the circle of people in my acquaintance who've been open about their vaccine experiences, it's just a small sample size. A rough estimate I came up with is that I know about 4 out of 10 people who experienced adverse reactions. That would include the two women who had flu-like symptoms and fatigue for several days after the second shot. It would include the man who suffered the stroke and the man who experienced heart palpitations and shortness of breath.
Out of those 4 people, 1 of them had long lasting effects, the one who had the stroke.

I tend to lean on the side of Dr. Tenpenny, along with others in her camp. Based upon their findings, due to the "vaccine," their immune system has been detrimentally altered, and will remain so for the rest of their lives. If this theory holds true, they will be susceptible to further serious illness and disease due their compromised immune system. Dr. Tenpenny claims that serious, long term side effects are going to begin to show up, en masse, in about 12 to 18 months from now.

North Dakota teen girl dies after random attack while skateboarding
A 14-year-old North Dakota girl who was skateboarding at a strip mall was killed in a random attack lasting about 20 minutes in which she was choked, beaten and stabbed more than 20 times, according to reports.
Daisy “Jupiter” Paulsen was declared brain-dead Tuesday, four days after she was viciously assaulted in Fargo, and her family is working on donating her organs, local news outlet The Forum reported.
Her alleged assailant, Arthur Prince Kollie, 23, who was initially charged with attempted murder, robbery and aggravated assault, will now be charged with murder, according to a Cass County prosecutor.
Kollie told investigators he used methamphetamine on June 3, the day before the attack, and denied any role in the assault, according to court documents cited by the outlet.
The suspect, who was on probation for a 2017 conviction for assaulting a peace officer, said he was walking in the area where the attack took place but insisted he did “not recall” when asked about it.
Jupiter was skateboarding from her dad Robert’s house to her mom’s place about 7 a.m. Friday when she was attacked, The Forum reported, citing the father and court documents.
The beatdown of about 20 minutes near Party City was caught in part on surveillance video.
A sanitation worker driving in the area saw a man wearing a white T-shirt and black pants leaning or standing over the girl with one hand on her nose and the other on her throat, the documents state.
The worker called 911 and performed CPR on the girl, her mother, Antonia Johnson, told KVLY-TV.
The suspect fled but police later traced him to a Walmart store about a half-mile from the site of the attack. Store security footage showed a person grabbing new clothes, putting them on in a changing room and leaving without paying.

January 6: What really happened? An in-depth look
An investigation into what really happened on January 6, and who may be responsible for what.

WASHINGTON, D.C., July 2, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — Two weeks ago the Biden administration released a new dossier for confronting “domestic terrorism” which Tucker Carlson referred to as “a fascist document” that “reads like a manual for targeting the administration’s political opponents.”
This “National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism” designates “domestic violent extremism as a national priority” and warns against “anti-government sentiment,” and what it may perceive to be “incitement” toward such violence.
It suggests, for example, that those who believe and discuss the case for “fraud in the recent general election,” or object to government mandates “related to the COVID-19 pandemic,” may be considered guilty of “incitement” and punished for such views. It also encourages Americans to report to the government family members and friends who may be “radicalizing,” announces an alliance between global governments and Big Tech to identify and censor online content they consider dangerous, and pledges to confront “the proliferation of guns” in the United States.
During the administration’s press conference on the topic last week, a spokesman proposed how the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol provided proof of the “urgent” domestic terror threat the nation is facing. He noted that “manifestations” of such immediate dangers have already been seen in “the pretty extraordinary pace and scope of work done by investigators and prosecutors in the wake of the January 6 events.”
Given the Biden administration’s ongoing movement toward an exceeding expansion of government surveillance power, at the expense of American citizens’ civil liberties, it’s important to investigate the Democrat and media narrative of what exactly happened on January 6 at the U.S. Capitol and analyze whether these events provide any justification for the “fascist” legal structures being attempted or put in place to combat the supposed threat of “domestic terrorism.”
With a closer look we discover a tale that pits a political, financial, and media establishment against common citizens of the United States, where up to 47% of likely voters in America, including up to 30% of Democrats, believed last year’s presidential election results were “very likely” fraudulent, despite unprecedented media and Big Tech suppression of the topic.
In exercising their First Amendment rights on January 6, hundreds of thousands of racially diverse Americans may have been subjected to a highly financed “deep state” operation which involved the implementation of institutional techniques utilized for revolutions abroad, including the fostering of division and violence among a minority in their presence and the illegitimate shedding of blood at the hands of the Capitol’s police force, which is not accountable to the public.
In addition, given a long track record of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) being involved in entrapment, and even being involved with at least one terrorist attack against citizens in Garland, Texas in 2015 (see details below), this minority of violent protestors may have been led by FBI operatives who also may have acted as “agents-provocateurs” orchestrating a scenario where massive numbers of marchers at the Capitol became an “unwitting follow-on force” corralled to enter the building.
Such entrance was also facilitated by Capitol Police who, at least in some instances, freely allowed and even encouraged hundreds of marchers to enter the building, while also, with the FBI, declining to sufficiently prepare for the obvious necessity of enhanced security for that particular day, despite even known warnings of a possible attempt to breach the building.
In stark contrast to left-wing rioters who caused enormous damage in cities across the nation last year, with little or no lasting legal ramifications, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has implemented the harshest of consequences for those they can identify who had anything to do with the Capitol “breach,” including early morning SWAT team arrests, ransacked homes, confiscation of property, indefinite pre-trial solitary confinement without bail in a dedicated D.C. prison, significant physical abuse, and the violation of the Constitutional right to a speedy trial.
Despite the discredited January 6 narrative, the Democrats are still using it as a pretext to build invasive legal structures for the punishing of dissent and for the destruction of their political opponents.
The backstory: A ‘failed and corrupt political establishment’ vs. ‘We the People’
This story begins with the historic presidential campaign of 2016, where the brash New York billionaire Donald Trump branded himself as a champion for “We the People” and, on their behalf, overcame what he referred to as a “a failed and corrupt political establishment,” consisting of the Washington “swamp” and the “financial and media corporations” who support them.
Almost immediately, the “establishment” on the left took council and began to prepare their response. Billionaire George Soros joined other wealthy leftist donors, NGO heads, and politicians, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), to plan their “full-on trench warfare against Trump from Day One” with a purpose to “take back power.”
While the “swamp” was executing its role implementing the Russia hoax with its Mueller Investigation, and the Ukraine impeachment hoax against Trump, Soros was helping elect radically leftist prosecutors in major U.S. cities who, as former Attorney General William Barr explained, “are not very supportive of law enforcement and don't view the office as bringing to trial and prosecuting criminals but pursuing other social agendas.” The results, Barr said, would lead to more violent crime and less police in those particular districts.
In addition, as Soros crippled these normative structures for preventing crime in these large cities, he was simultaneously infusing millions of dollars into the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement which would take advantage of these corrupt prosecutors when it instigated widespread and devastatingly destructive riots in 2020.
In the meantime, despite the persistent “witch hunt” investigations against Donald Trump, the resilient president was not deterred in accomplishing much of his agenda, which resulted in an impressive list of pro-life accomplishments and a strong economy to accompany him as he rounded the corner into his 2020 reelection year with a head of steam appearing virtually invincible for reelection.
In the midst of such momentum, Soros was harshly critical of the president in Davos that same January, and yet reportedly indicated some level of confidence that Trump could be defeated in the fall by uttering that the coming high-stakes U.S. presidential election would determine the “fate of the world.” And despite great enthusiasm with a burgeoning economy, Soros’s investments also indicated he was actually expecting a significant downturn in the stock market.
Then – bringing the “Trump train” to a screeching halt – came government shutdowns for the stated purpose of mitigating the novel coronavirus, which evidence indicates was originally emitted from a lab in Wuhan, China. This lab had also been the beneficiary of American taxpayer funding approved by Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (a division of the National Institutes for Health) in recent years.
Serving on Trump’s Coronavirus Task Force, the left-leaning Fauci addressed a question in April and stated he couldn’t guarantee that voting in person for the high-stakes presidential election in November would be “safe.” As has been well-established, this provided a pretense for Democrats to advance the use of mail-in ballots all over the country, despite their being vulnerable to significant fraud and coercion.
Under such circumstances, even Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito affirmed that “serious post-election problems” were predictable, and such problems came in apparent orchestrated force, particularly in swing states around the nation.
In guidance issued on November 1 via its official website, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control stated that “Voters have the right to vote, regardless of whether they are sick or in quarantine.” The guidance told coronavirus-positive voters to wear a mask and wash their hands – which the general public was and still is being encouraged to do as well – and merely alert poll workers to their condition.
Interestingly, though visual facts on the ground indicated an easy Trump victory, the mainstream media, along with the major pollsters, attempted to project quite a different picture, some claiming an expectation of a Biden “landslide.”
With these two very different pictures, it would seem the least likely scenario would be a highly controversial election which would be contested in the courts. Yet this is also what the Biden campaign, along with certain media outlets, and Big Tech corporations signaled to expect, and prepare for, as election day approached. Such preparations suggested a foreknowledge of high degrees of election fraud that with even a full media commitment to suppress its evidence would still be widely recognized by the public.
Indeed, soon after the election, a full 20 to 30% of even Democrats judged it was “very likely” members of their own party “stole votes or destroyed pro-Trump ballots in several states to ensure that Biden would win.” Of Republicans, 61 to 75% agreed equating to 36 to 47% of all likely voters having a high degree of certainty the election was stolen.
‘Stop the steal’
When up to 47% of “likely voters” in the United States – equating to at least tens of millions of engaged adults – have a solid degree of certainty that the very high-stakes presidential election of 2020 was stolen, there is potential for a wide variety of responses.
While the mainstream media and big tech corporations suppressed the massive “Stop the Steal” rallies held in Washington D.C., LifeSite’s video producer Jim Hale covered all three (November 12, December 12, and January 6) and described how inspired he was by the enormous crowds, the vast majority of whom represented “the most beautiful tapestry of freedom-loving Americans” one could hope for. His brief and highly recommended videos tell the story of “these God-fearing, good people who flocked to DC by the millions in three rallies within two months.”
At a time when formidable influences such as BLM are attempting to divide Americans along racial lines, Hale also emphasized how inspired he was by “Trump's amazing, multi-racial support” as represented at these rallies, and he produced two special videos to tell that story as well.
LifeSiteNews Vice President Gualberto Garcia Jones, an attorney, also covered the January 6 March to Save America Rally, and described the crowd as “a portrait of middle America: overwhelmingly Christian, but racially diverse, with people of every age group and from every corner of the country” who were “overwhelmingly peaceful.”
However, Hale went on to explain that present at each of the rallies were relatively small numbers of “Proud Boys and Three Percenters, along with random ‘militia’ groups, blending a toxic mix into an overwhelmingly well-mannered crowd.”
Continuing coverage of the event following the riot within the Capitol building, Hale captured dramatic footage of these groups whom he described as “violently disposed, angry men who have low impulse control and low IQs,” violently engaging National Guardsmen outside doors of the Capitol. “Many were stoned and drunk … [and] QAnon-crazed who are still talking about the generals taking out Biden.”
‘QAnon’
Was January 6 the climax event of a typical “color revolution”? “Color revolutions” are often sponsored by the CIA or other U.S. government agencies abroad. Engineering a contested election and stuffing the ballot box are typical qualities of “color revolutions” which also seek to create civil unrest, foster violence, and then impose military intervention.
According to the BBC the QAnon phenomenon is “a wide-ranging, completely unfounded theory that says that President Trump is waging a secret war against elite Satan-worshipping paedophiles in government, business and the media,” which “will lead to a day of reckoning where prominent people such as former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will be arrested and executed.”
It apparently began in 2017 when “an anonymous user put a series of posts on the message board 4chan. The user signed off as ‘Q’ and claimed to have a level of US security approval known as ‘Q clearance.’” From that point on, traffic grew exponentially to include “at least hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people who believe in at least some of the bizarre theories offered up by QAnon.”
Attorney Robert Barnes argued – in an interview with Alex Jones, no less – that the QAnon phenomenon was a tool to help foster civil unrest and instigate the type of violence we saw on January 6. He called it “a sophisticated disinformation psyops campaign” which has signs of “being run by somebody with institutional influence and backing.” Through various means, he believes, it is intended to create this type of event by inciting, through deception, populist, or conservative individuals to instigate violence.
As in many places, like Ukraine, such color revolutions also utilize bloodshed of innocent civilians in order to blame it on the targeted leader as a pretense for their removal from office.
Though Barnes believes the desired outcome from the January 6 event was intended to be much worse, immediately following the protest and subsequent riot, the media blared incessantly that this “coup attempt” caused the deaths of five individuals, while Nancy Pelosi responded by vehemently insisting that President Trump should be promptly removed from office.
Even hard-left journalist Glen Greenwald objected to these “serial journalistic falsehoods” being portrayed about the January 6 riot, especially the mantra about the deaths. Of particular gravity was the tale of “a pro-Trump mob beating a police officer to death with a fire extinguisher” which “was repeated over and over, by multiple journalists on television, in print, and on social media,” and was cited as a motivation for the second impeachment of President Trump.
This case of Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick’s death was emphasized so heavily, according to Greenwald, because it “was the only example the media had of the pro-Trump mob deliberately killing anyone.” Yet, as investigators looked more closely, they were unable to proceed due to a lack of evidence, and it was finally confirmed by the coroner that the officer had died due to the natural cause of a stroke the following morning.
In fact, Greenwald points out “none of the other four deaths were at the hands of the protesters,” either. Three other cases involved a heart attack, a stroke, and a woman who died from an amphetamine overdose. “[T]he only other person killed with deliberate violence was a pro-Trump protester, Ashli Babbitt, unarmed when shot in the neck by a police officer at close range.”

In his discussion regarding Qanon, Barnes speculated that 14-year Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt was likely ensnared in this “psyop” and was under the impression that government, military, and intelligence insiders really wanted her and others to take action in storming the Capitol. This speculation turned out to be true.
Babbitt was killed as she attempted to enter a restricted area of the Capitol, accompanied by a variety of other “protestors.” The identity of the Capitol police officer who shot her has still not been released and in April federal prosecutors announced they would not seek charges in the case. Babbitt’s husband is suing for the identity of the officer and other records related to his wife’s killing, and her family has also filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the Capitol Police Department for nearly $10 million.
“The reason we don't know who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt is because the Capitol Police is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Congress,” tweeted Kyle Becker, who runs his own news service. “It is a secretive police force immune from FOIA [Freedom of Information Act] and subpoena power. One might even call it Pelosi's Praetorian Guard.”
FOIA requires federal agencies to release broad categories of information to the public upon request. Yet Congress is not subject to this law, and since the Capitol Police are a department under the legislative branch, they are also exempt.
Anne Weismann, chief FOIA Counsel for Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, describes the situation this way: “You have a police force that is answerable only to Congress, and not the public, even though they can take actions that will have a direct effect on the public.” Furthermore, she states that at this particular moment in history, it’s “more striking than ever that we have a police force that does interact with the public, but there’s no public accountability.”
Who benefits from the January 6 riot?
During the color revolution in Ukraine, there was an essential element of a false flag operation which occurred when the opposition leaders ordered sniper fire upon their own allied protestors who were clashing with police, as a pretext to blame the sitting president and remove him from office.
False flag operations are a reality throughout history and not just the stuff of “conspiracy theorists.” In 1939, Nazi operatives dressed as Polish soldiers and raided a German radio station on the border and left behind murdered enemies dressed in German uniforms to create a pretense for initiating Germany’s invasion of Poland. Nine years ago, we read how Israel made President George W. Bush furious in 2007 when members of their intelligence agency posed as American CIA spies in an operation to recruit terrorists for committing assassinations against the Iranian regime, endangering Americans and the nation’s interests.
With regards to the U.S. government, false flag operations have been a developed option for planning the initiation of wars, implemented for the purposes of regime change operations abroad, and utilized domestically to terrorize the population.
In evaluating the plausibility of an event being a “false flag” operation, it is reasonable to ask Cui bono? (“to whom is it a benefit?”). Who has benefitted from the event, and in this case, the Capitol riot?
Could it be President Trump, who as a result was targeted for another impeachment trial, deplatformed from multiple social media networks, and cancelled by numerous vendors and banks in the aftermath? How about the up to 47% of voters whose voices were suppressed by big media and big tech and were about to have, finally, a televised presentation given and entered into the record of the Joint Session of Congress demonstrating the overwhelming evidence of a stolen presidential election?
Was it the many individual Americans who came to Washington to exercise three of their five First Amendment rights (freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and freedom to petition the government for a redress of grievances), who ended up being “cancelled” by firing or pressured resignation, investigated, suspended, or even arrested and detained in a “gulag” for walking into the open doors of the Capitol?
Was it the Christian conservative movement, which is now being targeted for invasive investigation for the crime of speaking freely about the evidence of election fraud and thus “fomenting” this “domestic terrorist attack”?
Or, on the other hand, did it not benefit the “corrupt political establishment” identified by Trump including the deep state “swamp” and the media elite some of whom have vowed to “burn down the Republican party”?
FBI apparently knew ‘planned attack’ was coming
For an event like January 6 to happen, one necessary element would have to be a U.S. Capitol with inadequate security during a most precarious situation involving a joint session of Congress, when the certification of a contested presidential election was taking place, and there were hundreds of thousands of people in the National Mall rallying against what they believe to be a fraudulent result.
Yet reports confirm the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had information of a planned attack by some individuals for weeks, and neither they, nor the Capitol Police, nor the Democrats in charge of Congress adequately prepared for it.
Furthermore, given the fact that the individuals who started to engage in violence at the Capitol began their assault while President Trump was still speaking almost two miles away indicates these groups were operating independently of the rally altogether, and certainly were not acting as a result of it. In fact, since Trump was almost an hour late in beginning his remarks, the agitators may have decided they had to begin their assault before the crowd arrived in order to ensure the presentations on election fraud would not be made in the Congressional chambers during the joint session inside.
Towards the conclusion of his speech, President Trump encouraged the mostly well-mannered and Christian crowd to march “over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard” cheering on “our brave senators and congressmen-and-women” who were going to object to the certification of the election and present evidence of significant fraud.
D.C. police zealously unprepared, Capitol Police let in protestors
While a Senate probe confirmed that the Capitol Police were strangely ill-prepared for that day, other questions revolve around why exactly, in some circumstances at least, they appeared to not only let in these larger crowds from the rally after they reached the Capitol, but even waved them in.
Filmed evidence also reveals police in fact gave permission to protestors to remain in the building, so long as they were peaceful, and most of the guests conducted themselves like they were on a March for Life high school field trip as they processed through Statuary Hall, with even some taking selfies with officers.
While the Capitol Police have kept video surveillance records from the building’s system under lock and key, a select group of lawmakers are authorized to view the footage. One is Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) whose staff earlier this month identified a scenario where it appeared an officer passively allowed over 300 people to enter an open door on the upper west side of the building. Johnson has requested answers to several questions pertaining to this incident in a June 10 letter to acting chief of the Capitol Police, Yogananda Pittman.
In addition, contributing to the lack of preparation on behalf of public officials, Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser had also zealously rebuked calls for a larger police presence one day ahead of the January 6 march.
“To be clear, the District of Columbia is not requesting other federal law enforcement personnel and discourages any additional deployment without immediate notification to, and consultation with, MPD [Metropolitan Police Department] if such plans are underway,” Bowser wrote in a January 5 letter to acting U.S. Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen, acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller, and Secretary of the Army Ryan D. McCarthy.
“The District of Columbia Government has not requested personnel from any other federal law enforcement agencies,” she added, claiming that “unidentifiable” federal law enforcement agents could “cause confusion” and “become a national security threat” if they weren’t properly recognized.
Early evidence of an organized operation: ‘agents-provocateurs,’ ‘militants,’ ‘attackers’
J. Michael Waller, a senior analyst for the Center for Security Policy who specializes in “propaganda, political warfare, psychological warfare, and subversion,” was present in the crowd as it processed to the Capitol and wrote how the “deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol bore the markings of an organized operation planned well in advance of the Jan. 6 joint session of Congress.”
He describes the activities of “four separate cells or units” on the scene including “Plainclothes militants,” “Agents-provocateurs,” “Fake Trump protesters,” and a “Disciplined, uniformed column of attackers.”
“All of these cells or groups stood out from the very large crowd by their behavior and overall demeanor,” Waller explained. “However, they did not all appear at the same time. Not until the very end did it appear there was a prearranged plan to storm the Capitol building, and to manipulate the unsuspecting crowd as cover and as a follow-on force.”
Along the route of the march, the D.C. Metropolitan police were calmly present up until First Street NW, “exchanging an occasional greeting from marchers” whom Waller describes as “energized and festive… but not one appeared angry or incited to riot.” Beyond this point, where the Capitol Police had jurisdiction, there were “no police at all” which many marchers noticed with surprise.
Waller describes how after proceeding within the crowd he was hemmed-in near the Capitol, without the ability to retreat due to the continuous stream of marchers entering the area, when the group he calls “plainclothes militants” up front appeared to be in a tussle with the police. At this point, a group of Capitol Police in riot gear shot a teargas canister from the inauguration platform, “not at the plainclothes militants at the front line, but into the crowd itself. Then another. Flash grenades went off in the middle of the crowd.”
“No bullhorn or sound system could be heard for the police to communicate with the swelling mass of people,” he wrote. “The tear gas changed the crowd’s demeanor. There was an air of disbelief as people realized that the police whom they supported were firing on them.” This is corroborated by this short video (warning: contains profanity).
At one point Waller describes what he calls a “disciplined, uniformed column of attackers,” which approached from the north. The group consisted of “agile younger men” walking “briskly, single-file, toward the inaugural stand.”
“Some had helmets and GoPro cameras. Some uniforms bore subdued insignia, including the Punisher skull,” he wrote. “I had seen them in groups of two or three among the marchers on Connecticut Avenue from the Ellipse.
“Now there were a good three dozen of them, moving in a single, snakelike formation. They were organized. They were disciplined. They were prepared,” Waller said.
The first or second in the line announced, “We’re taking the Capitol!” and they made their way with curious observers disappearing “under the scaffolding beneath the Rotunda entrance.”
Finally, as Waller moved to attempt to exit the area against the current, the crowd was being confronted with men standing on chairs or other elevations yelling variations of “Forward! Do not retreat! Forward!” He later identified these men as agents-provocateurs who were attempting “to corral people as an unwitting follow-on force behind the plainclothes militants tussling with police,” putting them all, including children, the frail and elderly, in physical danger from tear gas and the crush of the crowd.
Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) read this account aloud during a Senate Rules and Homeland Security Committees Hearing on the U.S. Capitol Attack in February, stating, regarding these groups Waller described above, “I think these are the people that probably planned this [riot].”
Four days after January 6, Epoch Times reporter Joshua Philipp conducted an interview with war correspondent Michael Yon, who was introduced as having covered over 500 protests. From his own witness of the event, he asserted that Antifa led the way “using agent-provocateurs to basically guide Trump supporters into the Capitol building, very successfully.”
Noting their tactics included “wearing the goggles, and the same sorts of 3M masks,” shields and their dress, Yon said, “Antifa clearly led the attack. That was utterly obvious.”
He further described those present as Antifa’s “A-team.”
“They’re well trained, they’re well organized, they show up with the gear that they need. They’ve got the statements ready to say … They come out, they make great statements for the camera, sound bites. These guys are professionals.”
He said agent-provocateurs will often come to such an event, harness the energy, and direct it to accomplish their own ends. Though, in this case, it is apparent, many regular Trump supporters could identify them, having called out “there’s Antifa here. They’re doing this. Antifa are making us look bad, be careful,” Yon reported.
He also witnessed on one video “a guy with a Trump sticker on the back of his helmet starting to break the window with a truncheon” while another person who appeared “to be a Trump supporter comes to bear hug him and grab him back.”
On another occasion, two black-clad rioters try to do the same, but are stopped by what appear to be regular Trump supporters.
“These are clear agent provocateur actions,” Yon insisted, adding, “It’s an old technique that goes back centuries.”
Tucker Carlson: ‘FBI operatives were organizing the attack on the Capitol on January 6, according to government documents’
While the specific identity of these apparent “agents-provocateurs” remains unknown, a groundbreaking report by Revolver News, released this summer, and amplified by Fox News host Tucker Carlson, indicates that FBI operatives may have not only participated in the dubbed “insurrection,” but had a role in actually organizing it as a means of entrapment.
Noting the contrast between the government’s posture of demanding openness regarding the events of January 6, and the same government’s concealment of so much, including the name of the law enforcement officer who shot Ashli Babbitt and the “more than 10,000 hours of surveillance tape from the U.S. Capitol” never released, Carlson added that the “the government is hiding the identity of many [more] law enforcement officers who were present at the Capitol.”
“According to the government’s own court filings, those law enforcement officers participated in the riot, sometimes in violent ways,” explained Carlson. “We know that because, without fail, the government has thrown the book at most of the people who were in the Capitol on January 6. There was a nationwide dragnet to find them. Many of them are still in solitary confinement.”
“But strangely, some people who participated in the riot haven’t been charged. Look at the documents. The government calls these people ‘unindicted co-conspirators.’ What does that mean? It means that in potentially every case, they’re FBI operatives,” he said.
Carson went on to provide the example of one “unindicted co-conspirator,” referred to as “Person Two,” who shared a hotel room and “stormed the barricade” with a hapless indicted 65-year-old man named Thomas Caldwell. The latter was led to believe a “quick reaction force” would be directed by someone called “Person Three.”
“But wait,” Carlson continued. “Here’s the interesting thing. Person Two and Person Three were organizers of the riot. The government knows who they are, but the government has not charged them. Why is that? You know why. They were almost certainly working for the FBI. So, FBI operatives were organizing the attack on the Capitol on January 6, according to government documents.”
As early as 2012, Rolling Stone Magazine reported on how in response to 9/11, the FBI adopted new counter-terrorism tactics which actually equated to incidences of entrapment. In these scenarios, operatives would set-up violent terrorist plots, even pressuring and tutoring vulnerable individuals, and then swoop in as the heroes to stop it, providing the agency with favorable publicity in its fight against “Islamic terror.”
Carlson also mentioned a book titled The Terror Factory, wherein the author “analyzed every terror prosecution from 2001 to 2013 … [and] found that at least 50 defendants were on trial because of behavior that the FBI had not only encouraged, but enabled.”
Another example includes a terrorist attack in Garland, Texas, in 2015, where an FBI agent helped facilitate a shooting spree which was thwarted by local police before the gunmen could harm any innocent people.
Daniel McAdams of the Ron Paul Liberty Report claims “it is sort of a long-standing joke that ‘the FBI foiled an FBI terror plot.’” He also pointed out, that though he did not personally participate in the infraction at the Capitol, Enrique Tarrio, the leader of the Proud Boys – one of the alleged right-wing militia groups which did participate in the Capitol incursion – had actually been a prolific FBI informant in the past, though there is no evidence of any such activity in recent years.
In summary, Revolver states, “the leading planners and provocateurs of the 1/6 incursion weren’t the individuals who have been publicly charged with crimes, but the unindicted persons who were present at the Capitol alongside them,” leaving it questionable if the disturbance would have happened at all apart from “substantial agitation by federal law enforcement.”
With the tactics the FBI developed for its war on terror, Carlson observes “the bureau has changed its focus. It’s no longer going after Islamic extremism. It’s now going after Joe Biden’s political opponents – those are the domestic terrorists they’ve been telling you about. This is a nightmare; it’s a nightmare for civil liberties, for democracy itself. We should have seen it coming. We didn’t.”
‘Jayden X,’ Black Lives Matter, and the death of Ashli Babbitt
One individual involved in the Capitol riot, who is evidently not averse to conducting a false flag operation is John Sullivan, also known as “Jayden X,” and the founder of a “revolutionary” group called Insurgence USA. The Epoch Times reports that Sullivan had “attended a number of Black Lives Matter protests last year, posted numerous anti-police and anti-Trump statements, and also allegedly posted on Twitter support for armed revolution.”
According to federal prosecutors, he apparently bragged to witnesses that he brought his megaphone to the Capitol in order to incite Trump supporters to riot in the building.
Notably, Sullivan recorded the widely disseminated video of Ashli Babbitt’s tragic shooting. Though he identified himself as a journalist who was documenting the incident, prosecutors have charged him with actively participating in the breach of the Capitol which is plainly evident when watching his own video as analyzed by recent Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani.
The former mayor of New York City shows how Sullivan appears to be a professional rioter as he provides training to other agitators online including the wearing of all black, along with the proper equipment to bring.
Capitol surveillance video released during the last Trump impeachment trial shows protesters, some dressed in typical Antifa dark clothing and back packs, one with full body armor, suddenly pouring into the Capitol, and on another occasion, being stopped by Trump supporters as they attempted to do the same.
Following the shooting of Babbitt, Sullivan is also captured on his own video celebrating with young female photojournalist Jade Sacker, who presents NBC, NPR, and the Huffington Post as clients. “We did it!” she exclaims.
In a very revealing, 12-minute video analysis of the shooting incident, Japanese independent journalist Masako Ganaha draws some conclusions regarding the possible presence of organized operatives on the scene. She identifies two men “dressed like Trump supporters,” who worked to agitate those present while communicating with each other. She also identified Sullivan and documented his past participation with Antifa.
“I don’t say everyone who got inside the building is Antifa,” she said. “But I clearly see the ones that were leading the crowd, agitating the crowd were not Trump supporters. And, I think they had a plan, and they played well.”
From Sullivan’s video, Giuliani also identifies two other men involved in the incursion who seem to be working with Sullivan by giving him nods of approval (at 25:30), and asks whether or not there has been an investigation of these men.
Sullivan was arrested and is now charged with eight infractions, including a weapons charge, in connection with his participation in the Capitol riot. It was revealed in the court proceedings that CNN and NBC each paid him $35,000 for rights to his video, though reports in May indicate that unspecified U.S. authorities seized $90,000 from him having concluded that is the total he had been paid by news outlets for the footage that he took while committing alleged crimes.
Despite his history of anti-police activism, including separate charges in Utah from last summer involving rioting, threatening violence, and criminal mischief, leftist agitator John Sullivan was released without bail following his January arrest.
Political persecution and ‘torture’ of Trump supporters
Hundreds of actual Trump supporters who came to the Capitol that day, however, were not so fortunate.
Julie Kelly, a senior contributor for American Greatness, has documented how the Biden administration’s unprecedented “shock and awe” investigation of the January 6 riot represents a “weaponization of powerful federal agencies against regular Americans who dared, not just to vote for Donald Trump, but also to doubt the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election.”
According to her reports, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has arrested and continues to hold hundreds of “political prisoners” in a dedicated jail under “harsh almost solitary confinement conditions” while denying them bail and the constitutional right of a speedy trial.
Calling it “political persecution against Trump supporters,” Kelly reports that the FBI continues to be on a “nationwide manhunt to find and arrest anyone who participated in the January 6 protest, including those who did nothing more than allegedly trespass on public property.”
One story involves a 69-year-old Joseph Bolanos from the Upper West Side of New York City. Having traveled to D.C. to meet some friends from California at the rally on January 6, Bolanos, a registered Democrat, never even entered the Capitol. The FBI, having received a tip that he was present there, interviewed him on February 4, and then, a week later, he was awakened in his 94-year-old mother’s apartment by loud banging. “I opened the door and there’s about 10 tactical police soldiers and one is pointing a rifle at my head,” he said. “[They had] a battering ram and a crowbar.”
Simultaneously, another team had broken down the door of his own empty apartment. Both dwellings were ransacked, all his devices were confiscated, and he was handcuffed and paraded outside to an FBI car to be interrogated for four hours with a tipped-off NBC camera crew present to film and later broadcast the incident. In the car, Bolanos suffered a stroke, an ambulance was called, and he was admitted to Mt. Sinai hospital.
Four months later, Bolanos has still not been charged, his devices have not been returned, his reputation has been destroyed, and he insists he has not committed any crime.
With many other cases, in what Kelly calls a “purely punitive move,” defendants are transported from their home states to a dedicated jail in D.C., which “allows them to leave their cells for an hour a day. Religious services are not allowed; they can’t exercise and access to personal hygiene such as showers is nearly nonexistent.” In other words, these detainees, “before a single moment of their trial has begun, suffer the same harsh treatment as convicted criminals incarcerated in the D.C. prison system,” even though many of them have no prior criminal record.
One of the inmates, Jacob Lane, told his father that he and his fellow detainees are being tortured “mentally, physically, socially, emotionally, legally, and spiritually.”
Another, Jonathan Mellis – who was denied a temporary release to attend his father’s funeral in Virginia – wrote that he and his fellow inmates are threatened by the guards with violence regularly. “We all know that getting our hands tied together and being beaten is something the DC jail officers have already done to Capitol rioters in this pod.”
The attorney of one detainee has raised an alarm complaining that his client, Ryan Samsel, had been subjected to such a severe beating it broke his nose, dislocated his jaw, fractured his skull, and caused him to be blind in one eye.
The new ‘two-track justice system’ in the U.S.
Recently, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) explained in a speech on the floor of the House how left-wing Antifa and Black Lives Matter (BLM) “domestic terrorists … did a horrific and jaw-dropping amount of damage to cities across America during 2020,” including 2,385 looting incidents, 624 arsons, 97 burned police vehicles, more than 2,000 injured police officers, a death toll of 25 Americans, and a bill of $2 billion.
In an email to Kelly, Mellis wrote, “I would like to voice my confusion as to why left-wing rioters are set free and shown mercy while being the source of hundreds of riots last year all over the country, causing billions of dollars in damage, dozens of deaths, yet the right-wing rioters from Jan. 6th are treated in the harshest terms.”
Greene noticed the same as well in addressing what she called the “two-track justice system” in the United States. “If you are part of the Democrat-sponsored domestic terrorist organizations BLM and Antifa, you can burn down American cities for an entire year, get bailed out of jail, and face no investigation or commission from Congress,” she said.
“Meanwhile, if you’re a Trump supporter who happened to be at the Capitol on January 6, you face exorbitant bail, solitary confinement, abusive jail guards, and no due process. This is an outrage,” the freshman Congresswoman emphasized.
Tucker Carlson drew the same comparison, highlighting the story of Anthony Alfred Griffith from Oklahoma, who has been arrested by the FBI. “Griffith didn't throw fire-bombs at a police car. He didn’t loot anything. He didn't torch a Wendy's. He did something far worse,” Carlson explained.
According to one news outlet, "Griffith walked into the U.S. Capitol building through the open doors on January 6, telling the agents he did not see any police officers as he entered the building. He then went into a nearby office where he ‘interacted with some individuals’ before exiting the building. However, he reentered the U.S. Capitol Building again a short time later, where he meandered through the hallways and took a few photos."
Highlighting the contrast, Carlson concluded, “For that act of terrorism, Anthony Griffith faces seven years in prison.”
Another case involves the story of Bruno Cua, an 18-year-old homeschooler from Georgia, with no prior record, who attended the rally with his parents, entered the Capitol, and was later arrested and held in custody for approximately two months, without bail, despite his not being accused of vandalism, violence, or theft. In addition, the teenager’s disbelief that Joe Biden was duly elected to the presidency provided further proof in the view of prosecutors that he should be detained until the conclusion of his trial.
Yet, the same U.S. Attorney’s office in D.C. cut a plea deal earlier this spring with a couple of teenage girls who carjacked an Uber Eats driver and murdered him in the process.
