Duane Elgin & Fetzer Institute vision for our future

Duane Elgin is a New Ager who has been on my personal radar since discovering the Movement and its direction in 1981. John Earl Fetzer was then the owner of the Detroit Tigers and a vast network of radio and television stations in mid-size cities such as Kalamazoo, Michigan where he was headquartered. Fetzer was a former Seventh Day Adventist who completely apostatized from any semblance of orthodox forms of Christianity. He was one of the New Agers of whom Marilyn Ferguson wrote in The Aquarian Conspiracy (1980). Duane Elgin was the author of Voluntary Simplicity and has been a continuous and contiguous force in the "Sustainable Development" and environmental movements, including but not limited to "overpopulation" concerns. John Earl Fetzer may have very well been a primary financier of the April 25,1982 newspaper ads run globally proclaiming "The Christ is Now Here."
At any rate, Fetzer was thoroughly on board for the "cleansing action" the 1980 through 1982 era when New Agers were prophesying doom for their Christian opposition. Files I have downloaded from the Fetzer websites conclusively prove that and I have them multiply backed up in many places in case they go back to their usual game of "now you see us, now you don't" is again played, There has been a close working relationship between the Fetzer Institute and Duane Elgin for a very long time. Also, interesting to my research and wonderings why Hitler's mysticism was so long concealed from all is the fact that John Earl Fetzer was in charge of media censorship during World War II. He was, per his writings, one of the first persons to enter Joseph Goebbels office after the allies took Berlin. Duane Elgin has made two of his books available for free download from his website. I took full advantage and downloaded Awakening Earth (1992) and Choosing Earth (2020). I suggest you read the following from his Awakening Earth (pages) very carefully and with prayerful reflection on what it means to our future should the Fetzer Institute and Elgin forces get their way:
Religious Fanaticism—Because so many of humankind’s wars have been fought between people with differing religious views and because the world is entering a time of growing compression and proximity among people, religious differences will present enormous challenges for humanity. Under conditions of great planetary stress, different historical religions could coalesce around charismatic spiritual leaders and come into conflict. The planet could then descend into religious wars, perhaps with a new era of crusades intended to liberate the world from unbelieving infidels. Religious fanaticism could lead to spiritual tyranny and undermine trust in a compassionate and broadly shared spiritual ethic that can bind humanity into a single family. Another possibility is that a significant fraction of the world may view extreme planetary distress as a sure indication of a coming apocalypse and feel relatively little concern for starvation, pollution, and resource depletion. If these are seen as the last days before a miraculous spiritual transformation, then people may assume that “God” will intervene and clean up the mess. Instead of mounting a vigorous and creative response to the challenge of sustainability, people may simply wait for the apocalyptic end, or abrupt transformation, of the world
Stay tuned! Constance

That is I agree completely with all your comments. except "and glorifying Lucifer." I would say instead "and all too often furthering (wittingly or unwittingly) unChristian agendas."

Yep ! The GOP desperately needs a reset. More cooperation with Biden/Harris is necessary, in order to advance the Biden/Harris agenda. And these are the exemplary types of Republicans that are going to provide the "leadership" we need:

"Adam Kinzinger, Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney," etc. (every single one of their RINO ilk just so happen to be globalists).

After all, we certainly wouldn't want to STOP the CHAOS at our border, would we?

Nothing to see here folks ... move right along.

There's nothing "alarming and disgusting" about the Biden/Harris administration advancing their radical pro-abortion & LGBTQ+ agenda. And, let's not forget the Green New Deal which will destroy America's energy independence. What's there not to like about thousands of non-vetted illegal immigrants pouring across our border?

If that's not enough, virtually every one of Biden's appointments has reflected an anti-Christian bent.

BUT, but, but ... at least Biden isn't Trump!

A second Trump term would have REALLY been "alarming and disgusting."

Guns don't kill people, the NRA does.

It is interesting that 10 days prior to the Boulder shooting the NRA was bragging
about their court victory celebrating the rollback of Boulder, CO restrictions on assault weapons and high capacity magazines. Then, 6 days ago, a 21 year old, an apparently non-religious and non-political Muslim-American young man who has lived in the US since he was 2 years old but felt isolated in a MAGA world that hates muslim young men, purchases a Rugar AR-556, a variant of the AR-15 Platform and proceeds a few days later to murder 10 people out shopping for groceries in Boulder, CO.

I'm not a big gun control guy but sensible laws make sense. I am of the opinion that the USSC has misinterpreted the 2nd Amendment into a free for all for the gun lobby when the long-standing position of the USSC for over 200 years differed dramatically and allowed state and local regulation of guns.

This editorial penned in 2018 by John Paul Stevens, the last PROTESTANT on the USSC, who resigned in 2010 at the age of 90 (he died in 2019 at age of 99) sums up my position on the matter. His dissent was an interesting read too. I don't foresee any change in gun rights at the Opus Dei-controlled supreme court level because there are no Christians thereupon and there's too much conservative money tied to guns now.

The 2nd Amendment was primarily about self-defense against (NOT street thugs BUT) a totalitarian government!

Conservative Perspectives On Gun Control

By Marcus Hawkins
ThoughtCo.com
June 24, 2019

The second amendment to the U.S. Constitution is perhaps the most important amendment in the Bill of Rights, if not the entire document. The second amendment is all that stands in the way between American citizens and total chaos. Without the second amendment, nothing would prevent a duly elected president (who is also the nation's commander-in-chief) from declaring martial law and using the nation's military forces to systematically usurp and dismantle the remaining civil rights of its citizens. The second amendment is America's greatest defense against the forces of totalitarianism.

Interpretation of the Second Amendment

The simple wording of the second amendment has been widely interpreted, and gun-control advocates have sought to obfuscate the language in order to further their agenda. Perhaps the most controversial aspect of the amendment, upon which gun-control advocates have rested much of their arguments is the part that reads a "well-regulated militia." Those who seek to erode the amendment, claim that the right to bear arms is extended solely to militias, and since both the number of militias and the effectiveness of them have diminished since the 1700s, the amendment is now moot.

Local and state government bodies have frequently sought to strip the amendment of its power by imposing draconian regulations and requirements. For 32 years, gun owners in Washington D.C. were not legally permitted to own a handgun or carry one within the district's territory. In June 2008, however, the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 that the district's law was unconstitutional. Writing for the majority, Justice Antonin Scalia observed that regardless of whether violent crime is a problem, "the enshrinement of constitutional rights necessarily takes certain policy choices off the table ... Whatever the reason, handguns are the most popular weapon chosen by Americans for self-defense in the home, and a complete prohibition of their use is invalid."

Perspectives of Gun Control Advocates

While handguns were the issue in Washington, D.C., gun control advocates elsewhere have decried the access to and usage of fully-automatic weapons and other high-powered firearms by the general public. They've sought to limit or even prohibit ownership of these so-called "assault weapons" in a misguided attempt to protect the public. In 1989, California became the first state to pass an outright ban on fully-automatic rifles, machine guns and other firearms considered to be "assault weapons." Since then, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, and New Jersey have passed similar laws.

Anonymous said...

One reason gun control opponents are so adamant against keeping these firearms on the open market is because the access to weapons by the American military has far outpaced the access to weapons by the American public in both number and power. If a nation is unable to defend itself against the forces of tyranny within its government because the right to bear arms is so badly eroded, it undermines the spirit and intention of the second amendment.

Liberals also advocate legislation restricting the types of ammunition available for firearms, as well as the "types" of people who can own them. Ex-cons or people with prior mental illnesses, for example, are prohibited from owning or carrying guns in certain states, and the Brady Bill, which became law in 1994, mandates prospective gun owners undergo a five-day waiting period so local law enforcement authorities can conduct background checks.

Every regulation, restriction or law that infringes upon Americans' right to keep and bear arms, prevents America from being a country that is truly free.

Valisure, an online pharmacy based in New Haven, Connecticut, tested 260 hand sanitizer bottles from 168 brands

A total of 44 batches or 17%, had detectable levels of benzene, a carcinogen linked to certain blood cancers such as leukemia

Twenty-one bottles, 8%, had levels of benzene above the FDA-recommended limit of two parts per million

One bottle, from company Artsnatural, had 16.1 parts per million of benzene, eight times more than the recommended limit

Valisure has sent a letter to the FDA asking the agency to recall the batches and to conduct its own analysis

Great to see the gun lobby and their rhetoric are present.

More guns = more deaths

There WAS a "good guy with a gun" there in Boulder but the officer was unnecessarily outgunned.

Sensible gun laws wouldn't have made a difference when MAGA insurrectionists almost carried out a coup de tat without any weapons at all.

Plus...it's the public guns that are more of a problem than the gov military as it likely end up being armed bands of non-military Catholics and NAR/prosperity fake Christians in your state/geographic region that will be putting Christians to death while our government, someone like Trump, will simply pretends there's no emergency, the deaths aren't really happening and they are all "good [white] people" simply executing Christian terrorists.

"The number of gun massacres and massacre deaths decreased by 37% and 43% after the 1994 ban on assault weapons went into effect, one researcher found. After it expired in 2004, they shot up by 183% and 239%."

"In states that have barred people convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence from owning guns, the rate of gun murders of female intimate partners has dropped by 17%, according to researchers."

More Guns, Less Crime?

José Niño | AIER
February 7, 2018

Lurid images of scenes devastated by psychopathic mass shooters and crime-ridden urban centers like Chicago make us question such an assertion.

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, experts argued that more guns in the hands of citizens would lead to blood on the streets, Wild West shootouts, and all sorts of mayhem.

Despite the fearmongering, numerous states went ahead and passed right-to-carry laws. These laws oblige state officials to issue concealed-carry permits to individuals who have met numerous prerequisites, such as having a nearly spotless criminal record, no history of mental illness, and passing a firearms proficiency test (depending on the state).

Were policymakers in these states onto something?

Enter John Lott’s More Guns, Less Crime (first published in 1998, revised in 2010). An economist by trade, Lott sought to study the effects of gun policy on crime rates.

At the time Lott delved into his research, right-to-carry laws were starting to become the norm across the country. This new trend spurred Lott to analyze the impact of concealed-carry laws had on crime rates.

The result was nothing short of astonishing.

Contrary to popular belief, John Lott’s More Guns, Less Crime demonstrated how states with “shall-issue” concealed-carry laws did not see increases in crime rates. In fact, his findings even showed that these very policies played a pivotal role in reducing crime.

But what makes More Guns, Less Crime special is Lott’s uncanny ability to weave economic concepts with gun policy. The power of this text lies in its ability to make any economist or casual observer of economics feel at home, given his use of simple economic concepts to illustrate the viability of liberalized gun policies.

Lott, for example, observes the deterrent effects of right-to-carry laws:

To an economist … the notion of deterrence — which causes criminals to avoid cab drivers, “dope boys,” or homes where the residents are in — is not too surprising. We see the same basic relationships in all other areas of life: when the price of apples rises relative to that of oranges, people buy fewer apples and more oranges. To the non-economist, it may appear cold to make this comparison, but just as grocery shoppers switch to cheaper types of produce, criminals switch to attacking more vulnerable prey. Economists call this … “the substitution effect.”

The substitution effect illustrates how changes in the relative prices of goods and services affect consumption patterns. Normally, consumers substitute cheaper alternatives for luxury items when prices rise. In the context of gun ownership, when people can arm themselves, the presence of law-abiding gun owners constrains criminal activity. Criminals think twice before attacking a civilian, due to the possibility of the victim being armed. Instead, criminals opt for property crimes or other crimes that do not involve direct contact with the victim.

Anonymous said...

Similarly, Lott draws on another economic concept, externalities, to demonstrate the positive effects of gun ownership:

Deterrence matters not only to those who actively take defensive actions. People who defend themselves may indirectly benefit other citizens.… cab drivers and drug dealers who carry guns produce a benefit for cab drivers and drug dealers without guns.… [Similarly,] homeowners who defend themselves make burglars generally wary of breaking into homes. These spillover effects are frequently referred to as “third-party effects” or “external benefits.”

Externalities generally occur when the production or consumption of a good affects a third party that is not directly connected to its production or consumption. Lott connects this concept to gun ownership, where the presence of a few concealed-carry holders creates a spillover effect that makes the rest of the unarmed population safer.

These observations, among many others, have completely changed the way gun policy is looked at.

At a time when gun-rights activists relied on raw emotion and appeals to the US Constitution, John Lott took an unprecedented step forward with his rigorous and lucid investigation into statistics regarding gun laws and crime.

For anyone who wants a thorough understanding of the effect of concealed-carry laws on crime, More Guns Less Crime is a mandatory read.

The Book

More Guns, Less Crime: Understanding Crime and Gun Control Laws

Third Edition (Studies in Law and Economics) · Paperback – May 24, 2010

"On its initial publication in 1998, John R. Lott’s More Guns, Less Crime drew both lavish praise and heated criticism. More than a decade later, it continues to play a key role in ongoing arguments over gun-control laws: despite all the attacks by gun-control advocates, no one has ever been able to refute Lott’s simple, startling conclusion that more guns mean less crime. Relying on the most rigorously comprehensive data analysis ever conducted on crime statistics and right-to-carry laws, the book directly challenges common perceptions about the relationship of guns, crime, and violence. For this third edition, Lott draws on an additional ten years of data—including provocative analysis of the effects of gun bans in Chicago and Washington, D.C—that brings the book fully up to date and further bolsters its central contention."

You don't need more than 5 seconds on Google and a modicum of common sense to realize John Lott is a gun lobby shill and a liar. He initially wrote the book in 1998 so we've got 23 more years of increasing violence and mass murders that prove his paid conclusions wrong. He has about as much credibility as the economists that sold conservatives on "trickle-down economics".

"Yet his [Lotts] daunting resume fails to tell the entire story. While his initial research was groundbreaking, further examination revealed numerous flaws. Today the “more guns, less crime” hypothesis has been thoroughly repudiated. On closer inspection his impressive credentials reveal an academic nomad, never able to secure a place in academia. His ethical transgressions range from accusations of fabricating an entire survey, to presenting faulty regressions, to creating elaborate online personas to defend his work and bash critics, to trying to revise his online history to deflect arguments. And this doesn’t even begin to cover the whole host of false claims and statistics he has peddled repeatedly in articles and TV appearances.

http://www.armedwithreason.com/shooting-down-the-gun-lobbys-favorite-academic-a-lott-of-lies/

"John Lott has been caught:
● Fraudulently claiming to have published a study in the peer-reviewed Econ Journal Watch even though the journal had rejected his paper.
● Falsely claiming that the mass shooting rate in Europe is equivalent to that in the United States while his own research actually showed that the US had double Europe’s rate.
● Falsely claiming that more than 99% of Brady background check denials are errors. An Inspector General’s report revealed that these background check denials are accurate in 99.8% of cases.
● Fabricating an entire survey on defensive gun use. When asked to provide hard evidence of the survey, he claimed all the data had been lost in a computer crash.
● Repeatedly supporting studies that have significant errors that either nullify or reverse their results.
● Frequently hiding his work behind fake identities. In 2003, Lott was uncovered as having invented the identity Mary Rosh -- who claimed to be a former student of Lott’s -- to defend his own work. And in 2015, Lott was uncovered as the real author of a first-person account by stalking victim Taylor Woolrich."

Chicago hardly has restrictive gun laws....when you can take the train anywhere else in Cook County other than Chicago City proper and purchase a gun legally.

Many are purchased in Indiana as well -- just a very short drive from the south side.

It's a tough town most trumpsters couldn't handle but I love walking around downtown, taking in a show at Second City and/or catching an inter-league game at Wrigley Field.

My wife and I love the Blackstone. You just gotta be careful and smart but the city certainly has more issues than it used to.

As for gun laws...unless they apply everywhere they will be ineffective anywhere.

I wonder if an age limit like they have for alcohol and driving a car might help. I'd maybe suggest age 30 or 35. Also, I'm in favor of making gun owners liable if their registered gun is negligently obtained by another and used in a crime. I've never felt the fear or need to own a gun but if a legitimate business owner wants guns and a concealed weapon permit -- I favor that too.

Attack On 2A Researcher, Dr. John Lott, Rebuffed By Defenders

December 16, 2020
By Dave Workman

U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- When a California gun control advocate went on the warpath in The Hill criticizing the hiring of author and firearms researcher John Lott as an advisor to the Justice Department’s Office of Justice program, the reaction was swift in defense of Lott’s work.

Griffin Dix, president of the Oakland/Alameda County Brady Campaign chamber and a former trustee of the Brady organization declared research done by Lott, author of “More Guns, Less Crime” was flawed. Dix said Lott’s “research and conclusions were found to be false by a number of well-respected researchers, such as John Donohue of Stanford; Donohue and Ian Ayers concluded in The Stanford Law Review that Lott’s thesis was “without credible statistical support.” He claimed that Lott’s “track record is cringe-worthy.”

Lott has appeared at several Gun Rights Policy Conferences, explaining his research to always-interested audiences. He founded the Crime Prevention Research Center and authored several books about his firearms-related research.

Lott’s defenders, responding in The Hill, offered a far different perspective.

First came Andrew Pollock, who succeeded Lott as president of the Crime Prevention Research Center in November. He countered, “In this case, it’s true enough that Donahue et al found in a 2003 study that guns were associated with increases in crime. But a review of their work, also published in the Stanford Law Review, argued that Donahue and his partner ‘simply misread their own results … Their own most general specification that breaks down the impact of the law on a year-by-year basis shows large crime-reducing benefits.”

He was followed two days later by Michael R. Weisser, whose short bio notes he “wrote a weekly gun-violence column for Huffington Post and is a Patriot Life Benefactor member of the NRA,” observed this about Dix’s critique: “(It) reflects the continued inability of the gun-control advocacy community to address the fundamental issues that prevent us from making an effective response to the problem of gun violence.”

AmmoLand checked the Stanford Law Review critique (Vol. 55, No. 4 (Apr., 2003), pp. 1313-1369) to which Pollock alluded. Written by Florenz Plassmann and John Whitley, here is what the Abstract said: “Analyzing county-level data for the entire United States from 1977 to 2000, we find annual reductions in murder rates between 1.5% and 2.3% for each additional year that a right-to-carry law is in effect. For the first five years that such a law is in effect, the total benefit from reduced crimes usually ranges between approximately $2 billion and $3 billion per year. Ayres and Donohue have simply misread their own results. Their own most general specification that breaks down the impact of the law on a year-by-year basis shows large crime-reducing benefits. Virtually none of their claims that their county-level hybrid model implies initial significant increases in crime are correct. Overall, the vast majority of their estimates-based on data up to 1997-actually demonstrate that right-to-carry laws produce substantial crime-reducing benefits. We show that their models also do an extremely poor job of predicting the changes in crime rates after 1997.” (Emphasis added.)

Anonymous said...

Dix lost his 15-year-old son in an “unintentional shooting with a gun that was stored unlocked and loaded” at the home of a friend, according to the brief bio included by The Hill.

Pollock lost his daughter in the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Fla. In his Op-Ed, Pollock contends that two unarmed security staffers who charged at the killer and were fatally wounded might have stopped the mayhem had they been armed.

To his credit, Lott has offered no comment since taking his government job. But that hasn’t stopped Capitol Hill gun prohibitionists from going after him. In a letter to Attorney General William Barr, nine anti-gun lawmakers complain that Lott is “a pro-gun advocate who claims that widespread gun ownership can reduce crime.”

According to Plassmann and Whitley’s Stanford Law Review abstract, Lott’s contentions are more than mere speculation. But, as Alan Gottlieb, founder of the Second Amendment Foundation and co-author of several books* including “Shooting Blanks: Facts Don’t Matter to the Gun Control Crowd” has pointed out, “In a free society there is always room for reasonable, rational and responsible debate of any issue. It is only when the political arguments stray into the realm of agenda fulfillment and philosophical monopoly that perspectives are lost, if not voluntarily abandoned.”

Signing the letter to Barr were Senators Dianne Feinstein, Richard Blumenthal, Patrick Leahy, Sheldon Whitehouse, Christopher Coons, Richard Durbin, Amy Klobuchar, Mazie Hirono and Cory Booker. They evidently do not want someone with Lott’s background to be anywhere near the Justice Department if, or when, it starts doling out dollars for gun control research under a Joe Biden-Kamala Harris administration.

Where Dix asserts upfront, “Trump now seems to be searching for time bombs to put under the doormat for incoming President-elect Joe Biden. One would be to leave Biden with contracts for ‘research’ and programs that mislead Americans and that could actually increase the number of U.S. gun deaths,” Pollock has a different approach and markedly different attitude.

“Rather than attack researchers engaged in the debate,” Pollock suggests, “or try to police who should be allowed to engage in it — we should welcome a diversity of voices and perspectives into the issue of gun control.”

Anonymous said...

What’s wrong with Pollock’s approach? Apparently plenty, according to Lott’s critics. From a crowd that traditionally cries out for “diversity,” they only seem to want it when all the diverse opinions concur with their own.

Weisser also had a suggestion not likely to be taken well by the gun prohibition lobby.

“If gun-control activists are seriously committed to developing and implementing strategies that will reduce gun violence, they need to stop demonizing John Lott,”
he writes.

“Instead, they need to develop a persuasive and effective narrative that will convince gun owners about the risk of owning guns,” Weisser adds. “Until and unless this occurs, gun owners will continue to cite John Lott’s research as one of the reasons why they won’t give up their guns.”

By no small coincidence to this debate comes a report in the New York Post revealing, “Nearly 90 percent of suspects arrested on gun charges this year are back on the streets, which the NYPD says has fueled a historic spike in shootings that have left more than 1,756 dead or wounded.”

But New York City is an environment where it is nearly impossible for honest citizens to qualify for a carry permit, and in the rare cases where the permit is issued, it is prohibitively expensive for average citizens. Maybe that’s why the Second Amendment Foundation and Firearms Policy Coalition recently sued New York City recently in federal court over the city’s restrictive carry permit policies.

Anonymous said...

It is also because of headline news such as the situation in New York that people across the country won’t give up their guns, either.

(*Alan Gottlieb and author Dave Workman have collaborated on seven books, the most recent being ‘Good Guys with Guns’ published in 2019 by Merril Press, 175 pages, paperback.)

Figures Opus Dei Barr hired this con man in the justice deptt. Sure hope they fire him soon & drain the swamps of all these Trump leaches.

Why do u bother defending this guys 1990’s fake research which obviously doesn’t hold water. Another quick search and we Gish gallop upon the critique of the critique of the Stanford paper by Lott’s buddies, Plassman & Whitley which was also debunked & shown to be conflicting & falsified data that even Plassman distanced himself from.

“Analyzing new data released after Lott’s initial work in More Guns, Less Crime, Donohue and Ayres uncovered that right-to-carry laws do not decrease crime as Lott’s initial theory claimed. Donohue and Ayers stated in their paper, “No longer can any plausible case be made on statistical grounds that shall-issue laws are likely to reduce crime for all or even most states” and suggested such laws might increase violent crime. Lott was invited to include a response in the same issue of the Stanford Law Review, Lott co-authored a response with economists Florenz Plassmann and John Whitley, but despite being the lead author, Lott eventually removed his name from the paper.

Upon analyzing Plassmann and Whitley’s new data, Ayers and Donohue found errors that, in fact, rejected the claim that more guns equals less crime. While Plassmann admitted that Ayres and Donohue had correctly identified a substantial error in the paper, Lott continued to deny that the error caused any results to change, and publicly provided a data table to support his claim. Lott’s table, however, still contained substantial data errors. Lott quietly made a series of “corrections” to the original data table and backdated the changes, but even after the corrections the table still contained errors.”

Here’s a balanced article reviewing non-partisan RAND’s survey of all the gun studies which basically indicated much more research is required but the current data is pretty clear that more guns = more crime and gun control legislation would likely result in substantial reductions in homicides.

Insider Reveals Diabolical Secrets Of The Rand Corporation

Alex Abella on how mad men technocratic elite are intent on starting World War III

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet.tv
Thursday, December 16, 2010

Cuban-born journalist and author Alex Abella was allowed exclusive access inside the RAND Corporation to view their archives. What he discovered was a plot driven by mad scientists, behaviorists, and generals who were intent on starting world war three and fleecing the American people in the process. Once he was a skeptic on the subject of conspiracy theories and the new world order, but after his work with the RAND Corporation he is now convinced that this top secret think tank has been pulling the strings of American government for at least 60 years.

“We’re all the bastard children of RAND and we don’t even know it,” remarks Abella, as he charts how RAND started off as an organization centered around building new weapons for the military but ultimately expanded into politics, science, history and economics and was closely allied with the Ford, Rockefeller and Carnegie foundations. RAND’s decision in the 50’s to re-model the globe towards a new world order changed everything, with the development of “rational choice theory,” which turned people from being citizens into consumers, as rights and responsibilities were replaced with choices and people’s lives slowly came to be dominated not by integrity or what they stood for, but by what they spent their money on.

RAND’s ultimate goal was to have technocrats running every aspect of society in pursuit of a one world government that would be administered under “the rule of reason,” a ruthless world where efficiency was king and men were little more than machines, which is why RAND studied the social sciences because they were at a loss to work out how to deal with people and how human beings did not always act in their own predictable self-interests. There is no place for love, empathy or selflessness in the new world order that RAND and the Ford Foundation are working to create, and patriotism and altruism are adversarial to their aims.

Abella explains how RAND was instrumental in developing the strategy behind the use of nuclear weapons, and how they actively promoting nuking the entirety of Eastern Europe as well as China in case of problems in Western Europe, a policy that could easily have sparked off a catastrophic nuclear holocaust. RAND researchers believed that as long as 10 million Americans survived a nuclear war, the war was won.
A D V E R T I S E M E N T
Abella notes how RAND saw the United Nations as a template for one world government but that a new organization controlled by the U.S. would eventually supersede the UN and become the de facto world government, which is why RAND researchers such as John Williams advocated pre-emptive nuclear strikes on the Soviet Union, to make sure the United States would be the only country with the supreme power to impose its will on the rest of the world.

Speaking on the topic of false flag attacks, Abella notes that the staged Gulf of Tonkin attack and the planned Operation Northwoods false flag were both initially proposed in RAND documents, highlighting the total immorality with which RAND war games its scenarios, many of which are ethically repugnant in that they nonchalantly promote the genocide of entire populations with little regard for the consequences. Abella explains how RAND truly is a shadow government because it serves as a revolving door between the two, and how RAND is the cradle of the military-industrial complex and the birthplace of the technocratic elite that we are now fighting against.

The Rand Corporation’s Dishonest Report On Gun Control

October 23, 2018

The Rand Corporation reaches its conclusions on gun control by having its survey completely ignore studies that indicate that gun control is harmful. Their survey also inaccurately misstates the studies that they do reference.

Time after time, their justifications for excluding studies are simply false. When a study finds that there’s no statistically significant evidence that a particular law had an impact, Rand calls the results “uncertain” or “inconclusive.”

Here's How You Can Tell That The 2020 Election Was Stolen...

LIES, DAMNED LIES, AND INSANE STATISTICS

12/31/2020
By: Daniel Oliver
TheAmericanConservative.com

By the same standard of statistical analysis that the left applies to everything, it is easy to prove that the election was stolen from Donald Trump.

The presidential election is all but over now—“all but” because it was so obviously stolen that there is still a chance truth and justice will prevail, with Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) yesterday becoming the first senator to announce plans to object to congressional certification, which will force the House and Senate to vote on whether to uphold Biden’s contested victory in the Electoral College. The wokies are beyond ecstatic, humming “Hail to the Chief” whenever they think of Joe Biden—or even Hunter Biden, China Joe’s son, under investigation by the Justice Department since late 2018.

The woke media—a media too corrupt to print, during the presidential campaign, stories of the Biden family’s years of corruption—was oh, so uninterested in the statistical disparities in voting that clearly indicated election fraud. They were willing to bear any burden, pay any price, including the traducing of democracy, to get rid of Donald Trump.

Let’s face it: everyone who pays attention to politics knows the election was stolen. Here’s how you can tell.

A 35-page report issued by Peter Navarro, assistant to the president, director of Trade and Manufacturing Policy, and national Defense Production Act policy coordinator, lists a number of statistical anomalies in the battleground states, including significant changes in absentee ballot rejection rates from previous elections, and excessively high voter turnout (at times exceeding 100 percent).

The Navarro report says that “in Nevada, the overall rejection rate dropped from 1.6% in 2016 to 0.58% in 2020. In Pennsylvania, the 2016 rejection rate of 1.0% dropped to virtually nothing at 0.28%. The biggest fall in the overall absentee ballot rejection rate came, however, in Georgia. Its rejection rate fell from 6.8% in 2016 to a mere 0.34% in 2020.”

And the report says, “In the 2020 race, Georgia election officials received 1,320,154 mail-in and absentee ballots. If these ballots had been rejected at the 2016 rate of 6.8% instead of the 2020 rate of 0.34%, there would have been 81,321 ballots rejected instead of the 4,489 ballots that were actually rejected.

“Under the conservative assumption that 60% of these mail-in and absentee ballots went to Joe Biden, this dramatic fall in the rejection rate provided Joe Biden with an additional 16,264 votes. That’s more than the margin of the alleged Biden victory in Georgia.”

The Navarro report also says, “Cybersecurity executive and former NASA analyst, Russ Ramsland, testified that in Wayne County, Michigan, where Dominion Voting Systems equipment was used, 46 out of 47 precincts in the county displayed greater than a 96% voter turnout. 25 out of those precincts showed a 100% voter turnout.”

Anonymous said...

Ah, yes, the wokies say, but those are just statistics. We didn’t see any actual evidence of fraud, and man can’t live by statistics alone. But in fact, wokies have been living by statistics for decades. Look at their claims of racial profiling by police and by housing lenders.

Justice O’Connor may have given birth to the statistical disparity business in Richmond v. J. A. Croson Co. (1989) when she wrote: “Where there is a significant statistical disparity between the number of qualified minority contractors willing and able to perform a particular service and the number of such contractors actually engaged by the locality or the locality’s prime contractors, an inference of discriminatory exclusion could arise.”

It’s been statistics ever since.

A piece in the June 10, 2020, issue of The Washington Post says: “A New York Times examination after the death of George Floyd found that while black people make up 19 percent of the Minneapolis population and 9 percent of its police, they were on the receiving end of 58 percent of the city’s police use-of-force incidents.”

And the point is precisely—what? Presumably that we would expect near-precise racial proportionality in use-of-force incidents by police. Because the percentage of use-of-force incidents against blacks is three times the percentage of blacks in the population, the police must be discriminating by race.

Here are two more items from The Washington Post piece:

A study of criminal cases from 1983 and 1993 found that prosecutors in Philadelphia removed 52 percent of potential black jurors vs. only 23 percent of nonblack jurors.
Between 2003 and 2012, prosecutors in Caddo Parish, La.—one of the most aggressive death penalty counties in the country—struck 46 percent of prospective black jurors with preemptory challenges, vs. 15 percent of nonblacks.
In the first example, black jurors were removed 2.6 times as often as whites. In the second example, black jurors were struck three times as often as whites. This, the wokies say, is clear proof of racism. They live by statistics. .

Redlining was the practice, common in the 1930s, of drawing lines around certain areas of cities where loans would not be made to applicants. The practice was directed primarily against blacks and European immigrants, especially Jews. It was outlawed decades ago. But in many places, a piece in the Chicago Tribune claims, the law hasn’t made much difference. An analysis, independently reviewed and confirmed by the Associated Press, according to the Chicago Tribune “showed black applicants were turned away at significantly higher rates than whites in 48 cities, Latinos in 25, Asians in nine, and Native Americans in three.”

And what are we readers supposed to conclude from that? That those figures prove discrimination? Maybe they do.

But if they do, the election figures given above and others in the Navarro report prove that Donald Trump was elected president.

And everyone knows it.

Hail to the Chief.

The Proof Is In: The Election Was Stolen

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

I have read enough of the fraud reports, affidavits, and statements from election security and forensic experts to be comfortable in my conclusion that the election was stolen. But I am not confident that anything will be done about the fradulent election. The American elite no longer believe in democracy. Consider, for example, the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset. It is anti-democratic, as is globalism. Democracy is in the way of elite agendas. Indeed, the reason the elite despise Trump is that he bases himself in the people. Judges will not even preserve the vote record so that it can be investigated. In Georgia a federal judge has refused to stop the Dominion voting machines from being wiped clean and reset—https://www.theepochtimes.com/judge-blocks-then-unblocks-georgia-from-wiping-or-resetting-election-machines_3597691.html

For those of you who find it too technical and volumnious to read through the massive evidence of election fraud, here is a brief summary:

Electoral fraud was organized in all of the states. The purpose was not to try to steal the red states, but to make the vote look closer than the expected pattern in order to provide cover for extensive fraud in the critical swing states.

The voting machines were programmed to allocate votes with a bias toward Biden. The result was to cut back Trump’s margin of victory in red states. In swing states more extensive measures were used. The Biden bias programmed in the voting machines was raised. As a backup, large numbers of fraudulent mail-in ballots were accumulated in the Democrat-controlled cities in the swing states—Milwaukee, Detroit, and Philadelphia. Although Georgia is a red state, the same occured in Democrat-controlled Atlanta. The reason voting was stopped in the middle of the night in these cities was to prepare the mail-in ballots necessary to overtake Trump’s sizeable lead and enter them into the count. This is a time when poll watchers were told to go home, and it is a period when both Democrat and Republican watchers observed numerous acts of fraud of every description. You can review the types of fraud in the references at the end ot this article.

There are proven votes from the grave, from unregistered people, from out-of-state people. There are back-dated mail-in ballots. There are mail-in ballots without a crease, that is, ballots never folded and placed in an envelop, and so on and on. There are places where the vote exceeds the number of registered voters.

A number of independent unbiased experts have reported that the Biden vote spikes in the early hours of the morning are either impossible or so improbable as to have a very low probability of occurring. For them to occur simultaneously in different states falls outside the range of believability.

It is clear that the voting procedures imposed by Democrats in Pennsylvania are in violation of the Pennsylvania state constitution. A Pennsylvania state judge has permitted that suit to go forward and gave her opinion that it would succeed. I am confident that the corrupt Pennsylvania state Supreme Court will overturn her ruling.

If following all of this is too demanding for your time and energy, fall back on common sense:

Consider that Joe Biden’s Twitter account has 20 million followers. Trump’s Twitter account has 88.8 million followers.

Consider that Joe Biden’s Facebook account has 7.78 million followers. Trump’s Facebook account has 34.72 million followers.

How likely is it that a person with four to five times the following of his rival lost the election?

Consider that Joe Biden, declared by the biased presstitutes to be president by landslide, gave a Thanksgiving Day message and only 1,000 people watched his live statement. Where is the enthusiasm?

Consider that Trump’s campaign appearances were heavily attended and that Biden’s were avoided. Somehow a candidate who could not draw supporters to his campaign appearances won the presidency.

Consider that despite Biden’s total failure to animate voters during the presidential campaign, he received 15 million more votes than Barack Obama did in his 2012 re-election.

Consider that Biden won despite underperforming Hillary Clinton’s 2016 vote in every urban US county, but outperformed Clinton in Democrat-controlled Detroit, Milwaukee, Atlanta, and Philadelphia, the precise cities where the most obvious and most blatant electoral fraud was committed.

Consider that Biden won despite receiving a record low share of the Democrat primary vote compared to Trump’s share of the Republican primary vote.

Consider that Biden won despite Trump bettering his 2016 vote by ten million votes and Trump’s record support from minority voters.

Consider that Biden won despite losing the bellwether counties that have always predicted the election outcome and the bellwether states of Ohio and Florida.

Consider that Biden won in Georgia, a completely red state with a red governor and legislature both House and Senate. Somehow a red state voted for a blue president.

Consider that Biden won despite the Democrats losing representation in the House.

Consider that in Pennsylvania 47 memory cards containing more than 50,000 votes are missing.

Consider that in Pennsylvania 1.8 million ballots were mailed out to voters, but 2.5 million mail-in ballots were counted.

Consider that the presstitutes have zero interest in this massive list of improbables.

Consider that the presstitutes, the Democrats, the social media and tech executives, and universities have far more loyalty to getting Trump out of office regardless of the means than they have to democratic outcomes and fair elections. The massive fraud of the 2020 election was only possible because the liberal part of America has divorced American values and has no respect for them. The American liberal is no longer liberal. He has morphed into a fascist who suppresses speech and denies legitimacy to other opinions. Indeed, liberals are so hostile to electoral integrity that they want those who bring evidence of electoral fraud to be imprisoned— https://nonperele.com/nolte-rachel-maddow-says-people-who-contest-elections-should-go-to-jail/

It is educated Americans brainwashed by Critical Race Theory and Identity Politics who are liberals, not the working class who are the real Americans. Red state people are Americans. Blue state people are not. Blue state people demonize real Americans and have branded them racists and misogynists. Real Americans—the majority of the population—are “the Trump deplorables.”

The Real Americans have just had their democracy stolen from them by people who have no integrity and no honor.

If the stolen election stands [it looks like] America falls.

But more than an election has been stolen. The deep state, Democratic National Committee, and media whores did not steal the election because they don’t like Trump’s hair, or because he is a racist, a misogynist, a Russian agent or caused Covid, or for any of the other false accusations raised against him for four years.

Trump is hated because he is anti-establishment.

Trump opposes the elite’s sacrifice of Americans’ jobs and hopes to globalism and the elites’ own bulging pocketbooks.

Trump opposes the elite’s erasure of American monuments and history, such as the New York Times 1619 Project that paints all white Americans racist.

Trump objects to the elite’s demonization of white Americans and the discrimination that elites enforce against heterosexual white males in schools and employment.

Trump stands against Identity Politics, the hate-filled ideology of liberal America. When liberals call Trump a racist, they mean he doesn’t share their demonization of white people.

If you don’t demonize white Americans, you are a racist.

Trump is a populist, a president of ordinary people.

Trump is hated, because he was intent on rescuing ordinary Americans from subservience to the agendas of the elite.

Unfortunately, being a populist is not enough to overthrow an entrenched elite. Only a revolutionary can do that, and Trump is not a revolutionary leader.

The elite are getting rid of Trump in a way that makes it clear to all presidential candidates in the future that their only choice is to represent the elite. If somehow an anti-establishment person slips in, he will experience the same fate as Trump’s four years. The Dominion machines and corrupt Democrat big city regimes will steal his reelection even if enough voters have escaped their intended brainwashing to defend their champion in the voting booths.

Trump’s Department of Justice has failed him. So has the FBI, CIA, NSA, and Homeland Security. This is easy to understand. These are establishment institutions. They protect the establishment, not law and justice. Will the judiciary be the next to fail the president and American democracy?

If the stolen election, which is a coup, stands, after Trump [what] presidential candidate will dare to attempt to represent the American people[?]

If this stolen election stands, there is [little hope {aside from the great God Almighty}] that government can be returned to the people.

German Parliament Advances Mark Of The Beast[-Like] System With “Agenda ID2020” Ratification

By Ethan Huff

On Jan. 29, the German parliament (Bundestag) moved to ratify Agenda ID2020, a centralized data collection program that will be used to roll out [what may be] the final Mark of the Beast and enslave all of humanity forever.

While it still has to be approved by the German Federal Council, reports indicate that Agenda ID2020 will likely run into minimal resistance from here on out, and eventually pass.

Under the program, the private data of all Germans, and eventually all humans, will be made available to every government agency, police department and private sector company that wants it.

“It covers all that is known about an individual citizen, now up to 200 points of information and possibly more as time goes on, from your bank account to your shopping habits, health records (vaccination records, of course), your political inclinations, and probably even your dating habits and other entries into your private sphere,” writes Peter Koenig for Global Research (Canada).

Designed by none other than Bill Gates, Agenda ID2020 is part of a larger “vaccination package” sponsored and supported by the Rockefeller Foundation, Accenture, the World Economic Forum (WEF), and the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI), now referred to as the Vaccine Alliance.

Bill Gates played a big role in developing Mark of the Beast “vaccines” for global control

The Vaccine Alliance, the headquarters of which is located in Geneva, Switzerland, a widely recognized locale of deep state activity, is another creation of Bill and Melinda Gates. It is located right next door to the World Health Organization (WHO) headquarters, and is considered to be a public-private partnership – “[t]he public part being WHO, plus a number of developing countries,” Koenig notes.

Other private partners to GAVI include pharmaceutical giants Johnson & Johnson (J&J), GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Merck & Co., and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Not everyone in Germany is on board with Gates’ plan, including Dr. Reiner Füllmich, co-founder of the Corona Commission, a consortium of medical doctors, virologists, immunologists, lawyers and university professors.

Dr. Füllmich is concerned that Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines from the likes of Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna may contain hidden nanoparticles that could be accessible via electromagnetic radiation such as the kind released by 5G and soon-to-be 6G.

Anonymous said...

We already know that Gates and Co. has been busy working on “vaccine” technologies that will be paired with microchips and other new world order paraphernalia for global control.

It is entirely within the realm of possibility that such technology is already fully developed and hidden within the “remedies” being offered for the Chinese virus. Switzerland is already using such a technology that comes with a built-in, all-electronic identification platform.

The Swiss government has reportedly outsourced management of its Agenda ID2020 program to the private sector, meaning large corporations will be in charge of handling the data.

At some point, the “vaccines” offered by the likes of Bill Gates will openly contain this technology. For now, the deep state wants us all to think that people are simply getting “vaccinated” for Chinese germs, including with secret vaccines hidden within Chinese virus “test kits.”

Gates has already openly admitted that the plan is to have every person on the planet – except himself, of course – vaccinated for the Chinese virus. All roughly seven billion people will also get an ID chip inserted into their bodies, which will help the elitists better manage their global “herd.”

“With an electromagnetic field and with 5G / 6G EM-waves allowing inputs and access of data in your body – the control of each individual is almost complete,” warns Koenig. “The ‘almost’ refers to the planned access to your brainwaves.”

Trump is the most investigated person in US history, and yet, this is all that they can come up with? What a joke.

How about spending a little time on studying the Biden Crime Family operations? An abundance of information is out there, including Hunter's emails that indicates that the "Big Man" i.e. Daddy Joe Biden, gets a 10% take on all of Hunter's crooked deals.

Of course, Hunter being paid up to $85,000 PER MONTH for sitting on the board of directors of a notoriously crooked Ukraine energy company doesn't sound fishy at all, right? Particularly, when one considers the fact that Hunter had ZERO expertise in the energy field and did not speak the native language. Let's not look into Hunter's $2 BILLION+ deals with Communist China (obtained on a trip in which he flew on Air Force II) ... and .... continue to keep your eyes and ears closed to the fact that VP Joe Biden strong armed the Ukraine Government to FIRE the very prosecutor that was investigating Hunter's Ukraine energy company, Burisma.

Also, contrast Sleepy Joe's performance with that of Trump's news conferences, in which a hostile press constantly hurled accusatory questions at Trump, and he handled it all in stride !

PS: I spoke at length on the phone with a longtime friend of mine who happens to be very astute as to our current situation in this country. Generally, he is a very optimistic person. Yesterday, for the first time, he said "WE ARE FINISHED." He went on to say: "I can't foresee any way out of the unbelievable mess this country is in. Instead of real leadership, we have a man leading the country that couldn't even realistically manage a Walmart store. The Democrats have real power, and their only solution is to blame everything on racism, open the borders, make DC a state, make it easier to steal elections and advance the failed policies of socialism, etc." I couldn't argue with him.

Ok, there you are RayB.

"WE ARE FINISHED" for sure. These are the last days of what was once a strong republic.

RayB,

What a great NORMAL press conference. So nice to have a President that's not a sideshow carnival act.

Here's a normal report about it.

https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/biden-first-press-conference-1146904/

What's really interesting is the near identical conversations I had with a friend last night. A couple of years ago I spoke at length on the phone with a longtime Christian friend of mine who happens to be very astute as to the then situation in this country. Generally, he is a very optimistic person. At that time he had said "WE ARE FINISHED." He went on to say: "I can't foresee any way out of the unbelievable mess this country is in. Instead of real leadership, we have a con-man leading the country that couldn't even realistically manage a Walmart store without corrupting and bankrupting it". The Republicans had real power then, and their only solution was to blame everything on Mexicans and other minority AMERICAN PATRIOTS, curtail all necessary regulations on corporations, make millionaires --- billionaires and bow to the Roman Catholic elite and their secret political alliances while advancing the policies of authoritarianism, etc." I couldn't argue with him. But last night I spoke to him again and he was once again the hopeful and optimistic person he'd always been before. He said "Trumps departure gives me hope again in this country. Biden has a nearly impossible hole to lead this country out of but at least we have a chance now that the stalemate in Washington has been broken".

Amazing how dissimilar our friends are.

Oh yeah, glad to see you think criminal tax evasion isn't a big deal. Do you evade taxes? What about all the other "not so big things" Trump has done like have sex with prostitutes, cheat on multiple wives, sexually harass women (grabbing them by their genitals), sexually assault women and/or have sex with minors? I could list 5 pages of allegations against Trump compared to "all you got" on Hunter Biden --- so if the measurement is "allegations", Biden still appears to sin a lot less and less significantly than Trump.

X,

You are correct when you say "amazing how dissimilar our friends are."

My friend is a true Christian that fears God and His all authoritative word, which forbids him from supporting the most pro-abortion, pro-LGBTQ+ agenda, and most anti-Christian administration in our history. Biden/Harris are also promoting the Green New Deal, along with the entire Socialist agenda.

YOUR FRIEND finds "HOPE" in Biden/Harris and their evil policies. So yes, my friend and your friend are polar opposites.

I'll gladly take my friend over your friend any day of the week.

Oh, I presumed your friend wasn't a Christian since you didn't lead with that fact and that he seemingly supported a reprobate mafia-type unrepentant adulterer like Trump.

When our friends suffer in this world or lose hope while spending too much time in idolatry worrying about politics, I suggest you remind them what I told my friend(s) back when King Trump was pillaging the land --- focus on His kingdom, and the Lord's work, pray for, celebrate and exploit any new opportunities that "political unrest" may present for the sharing of the Gospel and worry about your treasures in heaven, not on earth.

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. I'm not a troll.

I'm just indisputable and inconvenient. Perhaps it's your cognitive dissonance making you uncomfortable?

There is simply no biblical nor political rationale or justification to claim Trump is or was the morally superior choice for President.

You can claim you supported the platform and not the man...that's fine and certainly more honest because I don't see how any true Christian could or would knowingly associate themselves with Trump the man. A bad tree simple can't produce good fruit and the last 4 years was a testament to that.

HOWEVER --- what's unfortunate about the Republican Platform....

The Republicans didn't adopt a platform at their 2020 Republican Convention. Instead of adopting a platform, they just recycled the 2016 Platform listing out all the things they failed to accomplish the previous 4 years along with one brief new resolution on the topic. The new primary overriding organizing principle of the new Republicant party----being: support of President Trump.

I give most traditional republicans a break on Nov 3rd for supporting Trump. He is a con-man or, as Mrs. Cumbey refers to him, an Anti-Christ of some degree. Even the elect could be fooled [were that possible]. But to continue bemoaning the election and supporting Trump after seeing his behavior post-election? Behavior that surely NONE of you raised your children to demonstrate, i.e. -- you didn't raise any sore-loser snowflakes, did you? Plus, what happened Jan 6th was just a glimpse of what another 4 years of Trump would have looked like and if Trump survived the 4 years, by then he'd have had the right footsoldier corrupt loyalists in the right positions to probably make himself President for life thereafter. Our republic was saved Jan 6th by a very few questionable characters who clearly had a choice and the power to affect a different outcome on Jan 6th and decided not to go down that insanely unAmerican path. In 4 years, it's doubtful any such rationality would have remained within the ranks of the joints chiefs of staff. They could only pretend so long.

Finally, I don't worship or idolize Biden. He could be disastrous but there's no way he could possibly be as disastrous as Trump while still awful. I'd still blame republicans for allowing Trump to happen in the first place and giving the country no choice. I maintain there's room for Christians in both parties and there is a lot of room in the center for both parties to grow their voting bases. If you want Democrats to be against abortion, there has to be pro-life people in the party. It's not like there are not pro-choice Republicans. Republicans gave us Roe v Wade in the first place and the elite republicans will just resume flying to Europe & Canada to get their abortions, just like the old days. It's a 50 year wedge issue for them -- not actually a goal.

For now, Biden is the leader of the free world and could use our prayers. It's a monumental task.

https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/uk-supreme-court-judge-expects-people-will-be-forced-wear-masks-stay-home-ten-years

NOTE: This is ALL about TOTAL control, and nothing more.

Those infected with COVID 19 have a 99.8% survival rate, OR BETTER, when considering that most of the deaths are the result of "co-morbidity" issues, such as heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, advanced AGE, etc. Keep in mind that hospitals, health care facilities, etc. receive substantial monetary reimbursements from the Federal Government if their patients "die" as a result of COVID 19. Such a system is ripe for fraudulent reporting as to the cause of death.

On top of all of that, Big Pharma (which CANNOT be sued) has rolled out "vaccines" that have NOT been fully vetted. Instead, they are telling us that the vaccines are "completely safe" as they conduct their tests on human Guinea Pigs. What's worse is, once administered, the "vaccine" remains in your body for the rest of your life, and you'll need more "stabs" in the future. Many reputable Doctors are stating that the vaccine alters your RNA in such a way that actually makes your immune system weaker, making you more susceptible to other diseases in the future.

I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would allow a non-vetted vaccine to be injected into their bodies that, by their own admission (including Fauci), will not immunize you from the virus! By taking the vaccine, you are putting your trust in an industry that has proven itself to be untrustworthy, at best.

Make your own decision as to what is right for you, but at least do due diligence prior to making that decision.

Mitt Romney wins prestigious "Profile in Courage Award"

"The 2021 Profile in Courage Award goes to Senator Mitt Romney for his vote to convict President Donald J. Trump in 2020, and his consistent and courageous defense of democracy," the official announcement reads. "As the first Senator to have ever voted to convict a President of his own party, Senator Romney's courageous stand was historic."

Caroline Kennedy, President Kennedy's daughter, said in a statement that Romney's "commitment to our Constitution makes him a worthy successor to the Senators who inspired my father to write Profiles in Courage. He reminds us that our Democracy depends on the courage, conscience and character of our elected officials."

Romney joins other notable politicians who have received the award in recent years, such as former Presidents George H. W. Bush, Gerald Ford and Barack Obama, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, former Rep. Gabby Giffords and former Sen. John McCain."

Mitt Romney joins the rest of X's New World Order puppet clones by receiving the JFK
* "Profiles in Courage" award:

"Presidents George H. W. Bush, Gerald Ford and Barack Obama, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, ... and former Sen. John McCain." "X" neglected to include on this prestigious award list the name of Sen. Ted "Chappaquiddick" Kennedy. ROFL !

* John F. Kennedy didn't even write his heroic book "Profiles in Courage," for which this "prestigious" award is named. It was ghost written by JFK speechwriter Ted Sorensen in 1956. After being long suspected of being the actual author, and after years of being unwilling to answer questions regarding his authorship, Sorensen finally admitted that he was in fact the ghost author in his 2008 autobiography.

So it really is rather comical that the Kennedy family would present such an award, being that JFK didn't even write the book for which the award is named. You would have thought that the "heroic" JFK would have had the "courage" to admit that he was fraudulently taking credit for a book that he didn't even write. When JFK was awarded the 1957 Pulitzer Prize for his book, he "courageously" accepted it without uttering even a peep of credit for the real author. LOL !

It kind of figures "X" would be impressed with such a bogus award for "courage."

You said: "A bad tree simple (sic) can't produce good fruit and the last 4 years was a testament to that."

What bad fruit? What did he do besides keep his promises? :
Trump at least began to drain the swamp. Bald-faced liars like Schiff, Pelosi, Schumer, and Tweedle Dee Nadler were exposed for what they are; immoral thieves and accomplished liars.
He fearlessly did what he could to protect unborn children, against all the best efforts of the "Planned Parenthood" murder racket.
He called out China for its aggressive plans to rule the world,
built a wall that everyone knew was necessary before he took office,(though the dems changed their collective mind and proceeded to fight against it because they couldn't stand seeing HIM do it without them getting the credit,
He exposed the mainstream media for the multifaceted Marxist machine that it clearly is,
rebuilt the military that ubama tried to destroy.
It was Trump that got the ball rolling on developing the Covid vaccines.
It was under Trump that we became energy independent.
Donald Trump did more for Black, Hispanic and Asian Americans than almost any of them do for themselves. Unemployment plummeted under Trump.
He also made great strides at protecting artists and musicians intellectual property rights.
Donald Trump was a tireless workaholic, who didn't drink or use any drugs. He gets up every morning at four o'clock and beats the mainstream infotainment industry at their own game.
There has never been a President who worked nearly as hard as Donald Trump in my lifetime. Not even close.
He did many more things that were positive for this country which I can't even list all here.
Granted, he never should have said the word "pussy", that time fifteen years before he ever ran for President. It was a very stupid and immature thing to say, although every ten year old boy has to try it out at some point. You've probably said it, quite a few times over the years. All the Feminist angst that followed was the biggest display of self-righteous hypocrisy in history. I know for a fact that many many women, when they get together, say that word and every other word and some words that are much worse. But that's okay, right? The fact that it was the power duo of Madonna and Cher who were the spokespeople with the microphones at the Pussy Hat Parades all over the country, should have been the end of the conversation, but of course it was only the beginning of the Wrath Of The Feminists. It went on and on for four years, every day and every night on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC. Hell hath no fury like a feminists scorn; vicious, nasty, relentless, self-absorbed, self righteous, seething HATE.

x, your quote was exactly half right. The part where you quote Jesus was the correct half. But you shouldn't put any additions on His words, especially not when you are so wrong.
What crimes did he commit to make you hate him so much? He's a tough guy, yes, and he was a definite thorn in the ass of the do-nothing Dems, but there's no crime in that.
You got your way. Joe BuBBa Biden and President Harris are just what you deserve and have to defend now.
But now we're talking real criminals with actual crimes.

paul said...

Having said all that, I feel like I should reiterate that Donald Trump is not my leader, or my hero. I only worship the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Like I said before, I voted for the Republican candidate because it is NOT the party of infanticide or Marxism, or LGBT lies. It is not the party that obviously wants to destroy America.
And I'll vote for the GOP candidate next time too, whoever it is.

X says many disparaging things about others here. His hyperbole about issues and people who supported President Trump have been very pointed, plainly false, and unnecessary. He can't truly defend his positions with the real facts so he posts things to cast others who disagree with him, and his version of the truth, in a bad light. His sources have no credibility but he posts anyway.
His misuse of Scripture has been addressed many times and is very hypocritical in doing so.

I think he is a bitter guy though he isn't gross saying things as the emoji poster is, but there is no way not to realize the disdain he has for President Trump and those who voted for him.

His liberal progressive views go against the Bible and Paul just pointed that out very well in his post.

Trump’s rotten tree out that home wrecker onstage at 2020 Trump/Republican convention. Other rotten fruit - 2 impeachments. U can blame a biased media all you want but Trump naively/stupidly put himself legitimately in their crosshairs. He was no more scrutinized that Clinton’s affair, Jimmy Carter’s enumeration(?) investigations & endless criticism, Reagan and the Contra affairs and Bushes “mission accomplished” & endless stupidity. It’s not what happened to Trump that defined him but his inability to politically & sincerely deal with it. Finally. “Draining the swamp” but then filling it with even more incompetent , inexperienced, unqualified grifting rats who are trying 2 stick around & sabotage our American institutions doesn’t make things better. If you really want to understand how and why the * establishment (including their puppet Democrats, "never Trumpers," & RINOs) was so united in their hatred and opposition against Donald Trump, you may want to read this classic book:

"A Choice Not an Echo" by Phyllis Schlafly (FREE DOWNLOAD ... or read it online)

https://eagleforum.org/about/phyllis-books/a-choice-not-an-echo-1964.html

NOTE: Written in 1964, it remains a timeless classic, exposing how and why, throughout history, Presidential candidates are REALLY chosen, and how the American public is manipulated into believing that while the two main candidates may have different platforms, BOTH candidates represent the interests of their ESTABLISHMENT masters.

The old adage: "The past is prelude" is illustrated quite well in this book. The very same ESTABLISHMENT that opposed the outsider Trump, has operated throughout our history (collectively known as ** "the money powers"). Take the time to read it. You WILL not be disappointed!

* The "establishment" is made up of the big money powers that really run America, which includes the private banking establishment (the biggest player being the PRIVATELY OWNED Federal Reserve), the mega corporations, the MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX (including virtually all of the 'alphabet' agencies), Wall Street, the enormous Pharmaceutical industry, the mega insurance industry, the corporate main stream media (INCLUDING THE CORPORATE 'ENTERTAINMENT' industry), liberal academia, doctrinaire globalist/communists (both inside and outside the government), the US State Department (controlled by the Council on Foreign Affairs with very HEAVY influence from the State of Israel), etc.

** In a private letter from Franklin Delano Roosevelt, addressed to Col. Mendell House (a very powerful 'Kingmaker'), FDR stated:

"The REAL TRUTH of the matter is, AS YOU AND I KNOW, that a FINANCIAL ELEMENT in the LARGER CENTERS HAS OWNED THE GOVERNMENT EVER SINCE THE DAYS OF ANDREW JACKSON — and I am not wholly excepting the Administration of W. W. (i.e., Pres. Woodrow Wilson ... signed the Federal Reserve Act in 1913). The country is going through a REPETITION OF JACKSON'S FIGHT WITH THE BANK OF THE UNITED STATES (i.e., the Central Bankers) — only on a far bigger and broader basis." (Block lettering added for emphasis).

Source: Letter to Col. Edward Mandell House (21 November 1933); as quoted in F.D.R.: His Personal Letters, 1928-1945, edited by Elliott Roosevelt (New York: Duell, Sloan and Pearce, 1950), pg. 373.

Even though Gregory Mannarino isn't one of your favorite people RayB, he has been saying for quite some time that the global central banks are at the very top of the power pyramid. I have come to believe that what he is stating is correct!

Christ driving the money changers out of the temple will be done globally at His return. Hallelujah!!!

The back of the ONE dollar FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE has an image of this pyramid! They do believe in the one god! Their Illuminati/Masonic version has no son though. They have made clear on the note, that there is only ONE.

The Mormon cult has reduced Y'shua to a Prometheus like roll, that an enlightened, good, temple Mormon can fulfill this God roll on another planet. Lucifer/Christ in their doctrine are spirit brothers. Much like many other cults birthed by the Mother of Harlots.

This is why Islam DOES NOT believe in the same God as Christians. Regardless of what some that should know better, have stated here.

X,

You wrote in answer to my question re “nationalism”: Craig - we are a predominantly Christian nation that should be seeking to be better than both China and/or Japan and their history of nationalism. Our diversity could remain our strength absent all this neo-nationalism and hatred upon some of our own American citizens. Trump's unnecessary "nationalism" has reinvigorated nationalism throughout the world (including China and Japan where Makoto Sakurai is being referred to as Japan's Trump and the rise of the anti-Korean "Zaitokukai")…

You answered my question in the way I anticipated. You confuse “nationalism” with “_____________ (insert race or some other group as adjectival modifier) nationalism”. The word simply means putting the interests of one’s nation over the interest of others. It comes with BEING a nation. This, of course, does not imply refusing to help other nations. It’s somewhat analogous to the instructions airlines give to passengers in the event of cabin pressure loss: put the oxygen mask first on yourself SO THAT YOU CAN THEN HELP ANYONE ELSE NEEDING ASSISTANCE. That is, you have to be in a position of relative strength in order to have the capacity to assist others.

I’m a staunch nationalist as opposed to a globalist. Given the choice between these two, do you prefer nationalism or globalism?

Taking your preferred KJV, note that 1Cor 13:8 enumerates three things that will (in the future) cease: prophecies, tongues, and knowledge. Paul provides a time marker when these will cease in v. 10: But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part [see v 9] shall be done away.

So what is “that which is perfect” and when has it/she/he come?

Paul provides a contrast between ‘now’ and ‘then’ in v 12: For now (at the time of Paul’s writing) we see through a glass, darkly [“in part” v 9]; but then (‘when “that which is perfect is come”’) face to face: now (at the time of Paul’s writing) I know in part; but then (‘when “that which is perfect is come”’) shall I know even as also I am known.

So, again, what is “that which is perfect” and when has it/she/he come?

NOTE: All this for a "virus" that has a mortality rate of .02%. Translation; if you get the virus, your chances of surviving is 99.08% !

But the Government, along with the trustworthy "establishment," will be coercing the American people to take a vaccine that has not been fully vetted, with highly dubious, potentially dangerous side effects.

Not a thing to back up your claims about President Trump's work ethic, x. You pulled that out of thin air like the many other things you hype to believe yourself! He never made a claim to replace God so your hyperbole is once again over the top. For whatever his faults, he'll always be more righteous than your lying, half truth or no truth commentaries. You manage to be on the wrong side of the Bible in nearly every post because of what you admit to supporting.
Not Trump that expanded Planned Parenthood (are you daft?), Congress did that. The rock and the hard place hardball ways they force legislation is egregious. (Come on man! Pay attention!)
Obamacare reeks! Like role model nasty Romney care--I know many burned by that one! The wall is great and it was getting done even though Dems did everything to stall it. And the Dems are still the kids in cages slave holders for the DC planation they run (what they did--still try to do--to Black voters to insure Black votes is still the plan. Candace Owens among others expose that rhetoric and action (You really need to get a clue). I ask again, are you daft? Your idiot Romney and Ryan, McCain, Kasich, and too many other Rino's are enemies of all that is decent and keep the Dems afloat to wreck everything in sight. They'll answer, too.

You have replaced formers to become the most ridiculous poster of the blog. At least emoji person is plain spoken, you on the other hand are posting the posts the author of confusion whispers in your ear. Because you "speak" with forked tongue. Scripture never belongs in your posts because you twist them to fit your narrative, not the Lord's. God will make you answer for that.
The devil's work is what you do.

Oh and the media made sure it completely stifled Tara Reid and your "decent guy" "religious" Biden has many other things to answer for besides that episode. He and his family are gazillinaires off the backs of the American public. He has treated blacks in particular with disdain and demeaning for years worth of quotes and legislation he is proud of (you ain't black only one example) but believe him all you want to. You are free to be free of facts so you can continue your charade as a Christian, and say you support righteous causes, while you and others like you pretend you care about your country, society as a whole, as you people literally dismantle it with godless policy and practice that you continue to defend and support. Some Christian you are..

I find you very disingenuous..(not inconvenient)..

Many believe that the ability to speak in tongues is the real evidence of having the Holy Spirit.

Is this what the Bible actually teaches?

When the Day of Pentecost of A.D. 31 came, Christ’s disciples must have been filled with anticipation, not knowing exactly what was going to happen. Christ had appeared to them several times during the 40 days after His resurrection, then told the apostles and other leaders to wait in Jerusalem “for the Promise of the Father”—the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:3-5).

So they were gathered together to keep the holy day when some rather unexpected events took place.

Visitors from all around the Roman Empire were in Jerusalem for the festival. Suddenly, many of them were drawn to the area where the disciples were by “a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind” (Acts 2:2).

Then they saw tongues of fire seeming to dance on the heads of the disciples.

As if that weren’t enough, the disciples began speaking, yet everyone present could understand them in his or her own native language (verses 3-6)!

As the crowd grew and listened in amazement, someone said, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?” (verses 7-8).

Undoubtedly God did these miracles at that time to show everyone that what was happening was beyond human means—God Himself was directly involved with this group, the very beginning of the New Testament Church.

Is speaking in tongues the test of conversion?

Unfortunately, some religious people have taken this incident, and some later statements by the apostle Paul, to mean a Christian today should be able to speak in tongues if he or she has the Holy Spirit. And so there are churches where various individuals seem to spontaneously break out in “tongues” (sometimes called glossolalia), speaking in a manner that is completely unintelligible to the audience. Sometimes there will be someone else in the audience who will stand up to “interpret” what was said into the native language of the audience.

What is the purpose of such displays? Is this what is described in the Bible? Is this what God desires and expects of His people once they receive His Holy Spirit? We need to know the answer.

A closer look at the miracles of Acts 2

Let’s take a closer look at these miracles. God did several things to draw attention to the disciples so people would listen. Hearing the sound of a fierce wind, focused on one location, made people curious. Then seeing what looked like fire dancing on the heads of the disciples, yet not burning them, made sure the crowd’s attention was riveted. Something very odd was happening!

Then the disciples began to speak “with other tongues” (verse 4). The original Greek word for “tongues” used here is glossa. According to Vine’s Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words, it means “the supernatural gift of speaking in another language without its having been learnt.” It wasn’t babbling or unintelligible speech; it was literally another language that some of those present had grown up speaking.

Today, as in New Testament times, people who travel internationally on a regular basis may learn several languages. They have a native language, but they learn another language or languages in order to be able to communicate effectively when they travel.

Almost always the traveler will have the greatest level of comprehension in his or her native tongue, since nothing gets lost in translation.

So on that Day of Pentecost, God ensured that each person there from around the world was able to hear the message of “the wonderful works of God” (verse 11) in the language with which he or she was most familiar.

It seems the miracle could have been as much in the hearing as it was in the speaking—very different from what is called “speaking in tongues” today.

What about Paul’s writings?

In 1 Corinthians 14 the apostle Paul wrote quite a bit about speaking in tongues. Corinth was a cosmopolitan crossroads with people from many areas who spoke many languages, and a gift like tongues could be useful there. But it appears this gift had been misused in Corinth. Some brethren had even become vain about this ability, perhaps feeling they were more spiritual than those who couldn’t speak in tongues.

So Paul had to point the congregation in the right direction. He explained that what was important was the building up of the congregation, not showing off the gift for self-aggrandizement.

Lest his words be misunderstood, he wrote:

“Unless you utter by the tongue words easy to understand, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will be speaking into the air. There are, it may be, so many kinds of languages in the world, and none of them is without significance. Therefore, if I do not know the meaning of the language, I shall be a foreigner to him who speaks, and he who speaks will be a foreigner to me” (1 Corinthians 14:9-11).

The gift of being able to speak and teach in another language was real and from God, but it was given for the purpose of helping someone who spoke another language understand the truth of God.

The evidence of having God’s Spirit should be displayed through our change of character as we begin to develop the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.Paul went on to tell them that this gift was a sign to those who didn’t believe—just as it was in Acts 2. It wasn’t a sign to the disciples, who already knew God was involved and doing some dramatic things. It was intended to capture the attention of those who didn’t yet believe (1 Corinthians 14:22).

Then Paul went on to say, “Therefore if the whole church comes together in one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those who are uninformed or unbelievers, will they not say that you are out of your mind?” (verse 23). God never intended it to be used by everyone or all the time. It was to reach people who spoke the other language—not those who couldn’t.

Does God still give that gift today?

What is commonly seen as “speaking in tongues” today does not fit the pattern we read of in the New Testament. Numerous linguistic studies have shown that it is not really another language at all, and there is no one listening who can understand it as his or her native language. It is generally highly emotional, and it may make the one speaking feel very good about himself, but it doesn’t fulfill the scriptural mandate of teaching and edifying the listeners. Based on all this, we conclude it is not from God.

God does not appear to be working presently in the same miraculous way He did in Acts 2. Why? Perhaps the ready availability of people who are capable of translating skillfully from one language to another negates the need for that gift now. And perhaps God is saving it for a time yet in the future when He will once again give it to some of His people, dramatically showing that it is nothing less than divine power behind the men and the message being preached.

Contrary to what many believe, the ability to speak in tongues is not described in Scripture as the proof that a Christian has the Holy Spirit. The evidence of having God’s Spirit should be displayed through our change of character as we begin to develop the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Living a life of faith and developing righteous character are far more important than speaking in a foreign language.

Anon 1:38/39 AM,

To paraphrase Trey Gowdy, “That’s a great response to positions no one here has openly espoused.”

I know someone who works in ‘music ministry’. He was on a missions trip to China (years ago). I don’t recall the circumstances, but he was asked to speak in front of an all-Chinese audience. There was an interpreter.

Just after he placed his Bible and prepared notes on the podium, a strange light obscured the podium. He could read neither his Bible nor his notes. Understandably, he grew very anxious. So he spoke extemporaneously, as best he could.

When he was finished, he was astonished to find a large number of his audience come forward. Perplexed, he looked over at his interpreter, who had a surprised look on his face as he said, “You spoke perfect Mandarin Chinese!” He apparently did an altar call in Mandarin, as well.

This guy does not know Chinese. And he never spoke it since.

Might that be an example of the gift of tongues?

Craig,

You have your answer within the body of the dual posts which you seem to perhaps have somewhat disparaged:

Assuming the story your acquaintance told you is accurate and his theology was in God's view adequately correct:

"The gift of being able to speak and teach in another language was real and from God, but it was given for the purpose of helping someone who spoke another language understand the truth of God."

And to slightly paraphrase:

Perhaps God was saving it for a time when He once again gave it to some of His people, dramatically showing that it was nothing less than divine power behind the men and the message being preached.

Infotainment is perfect for Tim. As an entertainer faux hipster bald guy, Tim can certainly express an idea fluently and coherently. Whether that speculation has merit, was adequately sourced and researched is another matter. In this video, his premise is a bunch of tech companies are all headquartered in Silicon Valley, so he "assumes they are all friends" and thus -- they got together out of fear to squash Parlor just like they squashed Carl Benjamin (that's a convoluted story in itself but it appears he was banned from Patreon for using the N-word).

Why didn't Poole call out Fox for canceling Lou Dobbs?

Isn't Parlor responsible for its lax security?

Plus...is the premise that media companies competing in a marketplace don't like competition really that shocking? Are media companies responsible for leveling the playing field and equalizing outcomes? Isn't that socialism? It's sorta akin to Newsmax claiming their ratings plunge is Fox News's fault.

"Newsmax Ratings Are Collapsing—but Insiders Claim Victory"

Your discussion of nationalism versus "______" nationalism is interesting. I think i's a false dichotomy to ask anyone to choose between the two when you can be both or neither, with the later group, perhaps focusing entirely on the kingdom of God without concern over human politics & governments.

If you have a moment -- tell me what you think of this article.

"THE ETHICS OF GLOBALISM, NATIONALISM, AND PATRIOTISM"

I don't really fall on either side cleanly and I don't see how any Christian could.

I see MAGA as having authoritarian underpinnings but also libertarian idealism which presumes [incorrectly] that [certain] people are good and don't need external constraints like laws treading upon them.

I'm on board with "American Nationalism".

The author of that article concludes with ---

"Diversity is difficult and often divisive. It’s not shades of skin color that divide; it is the perception that people in other groups have different values, and that they behave in ways that violate our moral worldview. Among the most important divisions within many Western nations is now the division between globalists and nationalists. The two sides have many real differences that must be worked out by a long and difficult political process. But political disagreements may become more tractable if both sides can understand each other a little better, and if both sides share a love of their country that is both passionate and—to varying degrees, perhaps—welcoming."

If one takes the trouble to look, one then sees that the tenses were changed to PAST (the time of the incident your acquaintance mentioned to you). For the sake of argument accepting the supposition that it DID happen:

Perhaps God was* saving it for a time when He once again gave it to some of His people, dramatically showing that it was nothing less than divine power behind the men and the message being preached.

Just because there is not much happening by the Holy Spirit in American (so many so compromised and quenching the Lord) churches does not mean there is nothing happening regarding the gifts in other places. Ministries that have gone into closed countries report many miraculous manifests of the gifts of the Spirit.
In Iran, for just one example, people are dreaming dreams and finding Christ as Lord and Savior. The example given of the guy speaking Mandarin is not an isolated event because other similar things are happening in other places.
Do some searching and you'll find them and see for yourself the true work of the Spirit and you will be amazed, and thankful that God is still willing and able to do what He began at Pentecost.
1 John: 1-3 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess [a]that Jesus [b]Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
We can prove if of God or not based upon God's Word.

Craig,

I've changed my mind. Although I have a lot to say on the subject, I'm not going to get into this unprofitable Cessationism debate after all.

However, let me just say this; you cautioned me about not allowing my "experiences" (which were, admittedly, very negative) influence me when reading the passage the you referred to. Yet, it seems to me, you are somewhat guilty of violating that warning yourself, by citing the account that you gave yourself. By the way, what proof do you have that this actually happened?

Let's not neglect to realize that the MAIN subject that Paul was emphasizing to the very carnal Corinthian church was "charity," or "love" if you will. Love for God, and love for the brethren, and that these were far more important than the "gifts" that these carnal professors were apparently boasting about.

Several months ago, I had a very uplifting experience. I received a phone call from an old friend that I had not spoken with in a number of years. "Bill" and I used to run around together in our wild days prior to my conversion. Bill saw first hand the dramatic change in me, and even attended some of the Bible studies that I held in my home. But, the Lord wasn't dealing with him at that time. During our 2+ hour phone conversation, he told me that although he "believed in God" back then, he did not believe in Jesus Christ. He is now a believer in Christ, and wanted me to know that. What nearly floored me was that he brought up things that I had told him almost 40 years ago. His memory was absolutely amazing. What's equally amazing is how much he has obviously changed. "“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Cor. 5:17

RayB said...

Bill also told me that he had married a Catholic girl, but that his wife no longer attends the Catholic Church, and that she is very interested in "spiritual things." Bill also has a friend that is a longtime member of a Pentecostal church. His friend invited Bill & his wife to one of their church services. While in attendance, at one point, the congregation all began to "speak in tongues." Predictably, Bill's wife "freaked out" and vowed never to step foot in another one of those churches again.

I personally have NEVER met a single charismatic that puts the Bible above their own experiences. It seems to me that practically anything that comes into their mind, they interpret that to be the Holy Spirit speaking to them.

Another example; a family member (through marriage) was attending a Pentecostal church and asked me if I would be willing to meet with her women's Bible study group, say a few words and answer any questions that they might have. I agreed.
Most of the women in attendance had "unbelieving husbands." A LONG discussion arose surrounding this ridiculous scenario: one of the women asked her Pentecostal "pastor" if she could answer an "alter call" for her "unsaved husband" and "would that result in his salvation?" Equally ridiculous (yet, somewhat predictable), the "pastor" answered "I don't see any reason why you couldn't do that because I don't know of anything in the Bible that would forbid such a thing."

One more ... Only on a very casual basis do I know a Pentecostal farmer that lives about 10 miles from my home. He called me out of the blue one day about 5 years ago. He excitedly told me that he had a "dream" in which he bought the farm land adjacent to his already struggling farm. He was convinced that this "dream" was from God. In his dream, apparently, I loaned (or gifted him?) a very large sum of money, allowing him to purchase this farm land. He very much wanted to meet with me to discuss "the mechanics" of the possible purchase of this land, so, I agreed to a set time to meet with him. However, I made it clear that I would only be willing to advise him and that I was not in a position to help him with such a considerable amount of money. My time was quite valuable back then. However, I made a very sacrificial effort to meet with him. When I arrived on time for our appointment, his wife informed me that "he was not home." He never called to cancel the appointment. She offered me a "half a dozen ears of corn" for my "time" (I'm not kidding), which I graciously refused. He never called to apologize for "standing me up" for our appointment and I never heard from him again.

Apparently, his "dream" was not very "prophetic."

I've also known a number of Pentecostals that are heavily involved in "get rich quick, Pyramid type financial schemes," but I'll stop here.

Anon 1:38/39 AM, 5:05 PM,

Your initial foray into this discussion @ 1:38/39 opens with:

Many believe that the ability to speak in tongues is the real evidence of having the Holy Spirit.

Is this what the Bible actually teaches?

…and (pretty much) closes with:

Contrary to what many believe, the ability to speak in tongues is not described in Scripture as the proof that a Christian has the Holy Spirit…

This is the position NO ONE on here is advocating for.

And based on the prevalence of apparent false tongues, the article states before its conclusion (posted just above), “God does not appear to be working presently in the same miraculous way He did in Acts 2.” You and/or the author(s) of the piece cannot possibly know every incidence of tongues-speaking, yet this is the conclusion. Then, the piece asks “Why?”, with the following pontification:

Perhaps the ready availability of people who are capable of translating skillfully from one language to another negates the need for that gift now.

So, to recap, the position is that God is flat-out NOT working in this manner, and this is “perhaps” one of the reasons.

It goes on to pontificate that, “And perhaps God is saving it for a time yet in the future when He will once again give it to some of His people, dramatically showing that it is nothing less than divine power behind the men and the message being preached.”

All this is premised on the position that God is NOT using the gifts of tongues today—at the time the article was written—(because of the evidence of false tongues), but he might, he could, “perhaps” do it some time in the future. And because the article was posted just now (@ 1:38/39 AM yesterday), the position of the poster is the same. Again, you cannot possibly know all instances of tongues-speaking and whether or not any of them could be true instead of false.

You wrote @ 5:05 PM:

Perhaps God had been saving it for a time when He once again gave it to some of His people, dramatically showing that it was nothing less than divine power behind the men and the message being preached.

Perhaps the gift has been fully operative since the first century, but has been obscured because of the prevalence of false tongues?

How about exegeting the Scriptures I’ve posed to Christine and RayB, instead of pontificating what may or may not be true based on anecdotal evidence?

Craig said...

RayB 11:54 PM/12:39 AM,

This isn’t some “debate” on continuationism. This is a quest to find out what the Scriptures teach on the subject. You claim to be a sola Scriptura Christian, so why not exegete the relevant passages? This is far better than submitting this or that anecdotal evidence (from you or from me).

That said, here’s my brief exegesis.

What is the “perfect/complete”? It’s the eschaton, the end of the age and the beginning of the next. After the battle of Armageddon and true Christians are in the new Garden (Rev 21), we won’t need tongues, prophecies and special knowledge, for we will THEN see “face to face” (1Cor 13:12).

Some claim this “perfect/complete” is the closing of the canon, but to that I must ask how it is we now (the “then” in vs 12) “know even as also [we are] known”?

I myself have written much on my blog about what I call “hyper-charismaticism”. There is plenty of false praxis out there. But this does NOT negate any of the true.

Craig,

Here's a suggestion: why not study the scriptures for yourself in order to satisfy your "quest to find out what the Scriptures teach on the subject?"

As I already stated, this is NOT a profitable discussion, so I really don't understand what you are attempting to accomplish.

By the way, I'd really like to see the source of your proof regarding the miracle of "tongues" that you cited, in which, a large number of people "came forward." As far as the altar call that you described, can you cite any Scripture passage where such an event ever took place? Rather, if you carefully read the Sower and the Seeds as described in Mark Chapter 4, you will see that many that received the Word, did so on a very temporal basis, which indicates that "decisional regeneration" is not a Biblical concept.

Altar calls were NEVER used throughout recorded church history, until the revivalist Charles Finney used a variation of it in the 19th. Century (the "mourners bench"), and then D. L. Moody made it somewhat popular. Charles Spurgeon was very much against its use. Of course, Billy Graham really ramped it up to the point that people began to believe that "answering an altar call = salvation." I always felt it was a very similar variation to the Catholic idea of "coming to the altar and receiving Christ via the wafer."

Again, your source that proves that the "tongues" miracle actually happened, please?

If by "American" you mean unpatriotic successionists, liars, false prosperity gospel believing, reprobates, mafiossos, self-promoting grifting and criminal enterprise leading adulterers, I suppose you could include Trump in that definition.

"There are now not one, but two grand juries underway in Fulton County, Georgia, where District Attorney Fani Willis is investigating former President Donald Trump for allegedly interfering with and pressuring state election officials as they recounted votes from the 2020 presidential election, The Daily Beast reports. The jurors in the secret proceedings are reportedly expected to issue subpoenas demanding documents and recordings related to the investigation. "I suspect that's in the very near future," Willis told The Daily Beast"

"Willis also hired John E. Floyd, a nationally-renowned expert on state RICO charges, who is expected to consult this team. That’s relevant, given that her office is looking into the potential use of racketeering charges against Trump’s inner circle. Prosecutors would have to prove a pattern of corruption—the same way they show that mafia bosses direct underlings. Their mission would be to show that Trump and his lieutenants conspired in a “criminal enterprise” to undermine a legitimate election."

Craig states (in part) @ 7:24 AM:

"I myself have written much on my blog about what I call “hyper-charismaticism”. There is plenty of false praxis out there. But this does NOT negate any of the true."

Craig,

How about enlightening us as to what exactly you mean by "hyper-charismaticism?" Give us some specific examples as to what prompts you to judge something that warrants your "hyper-charismaticism" characterization, and why.

Also, you refer that there is plenty of "false praxis out there." By the way, please pardon my remarkable ignorance, but what does "praxis" mean? In my day to day conversation (and reading) over my lifetime, I've never once heard anyone, other than you, use that word. LOL

You also state, that in spite of the "plenty of false praxis," "this does NOT negate any of the true."

Please be specific Craig. What EXACTLY is the "true" that you are referring to? Surely you can provide some "true" specifics, because you've already made the claim that there is such a thing?

As a side bar, do you believe in "faith healers," such as Benny Hinn, Earnest Angely, etc.? Are they also part of the "true" that you are referring to? Just asking.

COVID Tracking Apps Have Eerie Echoes of Chinese Surveillance System

March 30, 2021
By Aaron Sibarium
Washington Free Beacon

President Joe Biden's COVID team appears to have entertained an electronic test-and-trace program pioneered by the University of Illinois that would have let businesses deny service to patrons based on their health data, a PowerPoint presentation obtained by the Washington Free Beacon shows. The program has eerie echoes of China's surveillance system, which uses data from citizens' phones to impose quarantines.

A PowerPoint produced by the school suggests scaling up the university's intrusive contact tracing system for use across the United States. Its file name, "2020-12-14 Shield Biden Covid Team," indicates that it was presented to the Biden team in December, amid an ongoing search for solutions to a seemingly insoluble problem: how to stop the virus without stopping the economy? The presentation proffered an answer.

The school's system uses a mobile app that records test results and Bluetooth data to determine who has been exposed to the virus—and "links building access" on campus to that information. Local businesses have also embraced it, making entry conditional on a "safe status" reading from the app.

The system resembles the one being used in China, where a mandatory app gives each user a "health status"—green, yellow, or red—that dictates access to public spaces. The University of Illinois app likewise divides users into three categories: "yellow" if they've recently tested negative, "orange" if they've potentially been exposed, and "red" if they've recently tested positive. Only students with a yellow status may enter buildings.

The proposal would amount to a more extreme version of the "vaccine passports" being rolled out by airlines and some U.S. cities, which are already causing controversy. Those passports, such as New York's "Excelsior" app, indicate whether an individual has tested negative or been vaccinated, but not whether they've been exposed to the virus based on tracking data. They collect less information and use a less granular classification scheme than the University of Illinois app, meaning they pose relatively fewer risks to civil liberties.

It's unclear how such a scheme would play with liberal activists. While it represents the sort of ambitious, nationwide COVID response Biden has said he wants, it also threatens to exclude far more Americans from public life than measures like voter ID laws, which progressives have decried as the "new Jim Crow."

Only 11 percent of Americans do not have a government-issued ID, according to the Brennan Center for Justice, whereas 19 percent don't own a smartphone. Widespread adoption of the app could ice nearly a fifth of the United States out of the economy, never mind the polling booth.

Stacey Abrams's Fair Fight, whose founder has called voter ID laws a way to "scare people out of voting," did not respond to a request for comment.

Anonymous said...

The app's selling point is its ability to quickly isolate cases. "We need a SWAT team approach for hotspots," the presentation reads. "The goal should be to isolate confirmed positives in hours, not days." It further encourages the universal adoption of the app's "safe status requirements," saying they are a "critical aspect of curbing the spread in any community."

Asked to clarify the context of the presentation, neither the university nor the White House responded to requests for comment.

Digital contact tracing has proven an effective substitute for lockdowns in many countries, allowing them to remain open without uncontrollable spread. Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea all mandated the use of mobile contact tracing apps and were largely spared the tradeoffs Western countries ended up making.

The University of Illinois saw similar success. As of December, its test positivity rate was just 0.43 percent, whereas the rate for the surrounding county was 7.9 percent, according to a graphic in the presentation.

All this would have made digital contact tracing of interest to Biden, who said on the campaign trail that he would "shut down the virus, not the country."

"Opening up society as much as possible for economic, educational, entertainment, and religious activity depends on local successes in testing, contact tracing, [and] isolation," the presentation reads. "Overwhelming the health care infrastructure is extremely costly and shuts down the economy."

Even so, the proposal effectively substitutes one tradeoff for another: Digital test-and-trace could have enabled faster reopenings at lower risk, without centralizing surveillance in the hands of the federal government. But it would likely have encouraged a form of decentralized surveillance among businesses and local bureaucrats, which poses threats of its own.

Privacy and public health experts are ambivalent about the tradeoff.

"The concerns for privacy and liberty here are obvious," said Ari Schulman, the editor in chief of the New Atlantis, which has run several essays on the dangers of digital surveillance. "The best way to strike the right balance with a system like this is to offer model programs and infrastructure to local institutions, but leave it to them to adapt it in a way that their members will find legitimate."

The proposal gestures at this point. It assumes adoption of the app would be optional and says it can be tailored to the needs of local communities. The federal government should support these measures, the presentation states, but "efforts to mitigate the virus need to be led and managed locally."

Anonymous said...

In order to be effective, however, the app requires widespread participation—meaning local institutions would have a strong incentive to mandate it. If every business in a city made the app a requirement for entry, residents would have little option but to download the app. That might drive down cases and stave off lockdowns, an attractive prospect for the retailers hurt by them. But it could also be the beginning of a kind of social credit system, in which access to public life is determined by personal data.

Nicholas Christakis, an epidemiologist at Yale University, noted that many Asian countries had taken steps in this direction to fight the pandemic.

In South Korea, Christakis said, the government tracked "people's credit card usage to see which stores they had been in," a move that would have raised legal issues in the United States and Europe. "I was concerned by the extreme measures that China and Korea and Singapore employed in this regard," he said. "Requiring people to have negative tests to enter a building is concerning from a privacy point of view."

But, Christakis added, it may be necessary. "The measures in the slide deck do not strike me as that extreme" compared with other countries, Christakis said, "and we, as a society, must make at least some sacrifices if we are to work together to effectively counter a collective threat."

Because the University of Illinois app uses Bluetooth data to determine exposures, it is less invasive than some other systems that rely on GPS tracking. "When a user has a positive test result," the school's website explains, students who have come within Bluetooth range of that user are notified and marked as exposures. In other words, the app doesn't track users' locations, just their proximity to one another.

But the surveillance schematic is there, and it could become a flashpoint in future crises. With over a sixth of the population fully vaccinated, such schemes have been temporarily tabled by the Biden administration. Whether they stay that way is an open question.

DAILY BEAST MEDIA BIAS

January 25th, 2018
By L. Pinto
AllSides

Our team has wanted to update the media bias rating for the Daily Beast for several months, which, up until now, has held at Center. Although they maintain they are “Independent,” their reporting has grown increasingly partisan. Back during the 2016 election, we started to see the shift, but waited to see if that was just a momentary phase. However, a year after the election of President Trump, the Daily Beast's articles are still heavily biased.

The results of the May 2017 survey placed them at Far Left. We followed up these results with the Editorial Review and our team also found that the bias of their articles, headlines and images all fall under the Far Left rating.

It’s unexpected to see a source bias jump so far in one update and in such a short period -- this is the first time it has happened with any of our ratings. However, the Daily Beast's media bias has grown a great deal, necessitating the change.

Interesting uproar this evening. Wonder how it will shake out. It would be extremely ironic that it's Republican Congressmen that were the underage sex trafficking pedophiles all along. Kinda goes back to the old saying whatever the Republicans accuse Democrats of doing is just cover for what THEY are themselves doing.

Matt Gaetz Is Said to Face Justice Dept. Inquiry Over Sex With an Underage Girl

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/03/30/us/politics/matt-gaetz-sex-trafficking-investigation.html

Gaetz's response on Tucker Carlson is something to see. At the 4 minute mark he brings up sexual misconduct allegations that were levied upon Tucker Carlson to defend himself. It doesn't go well after that. He's a 38 year old man travelling with young women "friends" that he's providing hotel rooms for, i.e.- trafficking women.

This isn't some Democrat witchhunt --- this investigation was opened in the final months of the Trump administration under Attorney General William P. Barr.

This also might explain his sudden "engagement" where the 38-year-old Gaetz proposed to his 26-year-old girlfriend on Dec 30th at Mar-A-Largo.

p.s. - Thank you 6:04 pm for confirming that the source and bias matter here. It's refreshing to be understood. What does bias mean in this Trump story? It likely means the story is UNTRUE or EMBELLISHED to some extent. Perhaps the "grand jury investigations into Trump in Atlanta exist, but probably won't end up delivering indictments. Even though it's obvious when listening to the tapes what he wanted them to manufacture votes), if I were in charge of the City of Atlanta I wouldn't want to burden the city with the years of crap and expense it would take to make that case in the end. My guess is they indict him and then just graciously not pursue the case. They shouldn't roll around in the mud with a pig...everyone just gets muddy and the pig likes it.

Information (which includes news, news articles and regular articles) stands or falls on its own merits (or lack thereof). Whether something comes from, say, the Washington Post or the Washington Times doesn't matter (in and of itself).

The item stands or falls on its own merits.

While it may at times help in a broader context of understanding something if the source is used to analyze the item in question in a general way, BEWARE if you instead live & die by the mindset: "What's their agenda? Where are they coming from?" and automatically reject something out of hand (without even fairly considering its possible merits). Because that's fearful, sloppy, lazy and intellectually destructive "thinking". Falsely so-called "thinking".

Instead learn to evaluate an item on its OWN merits (or lack thereof) REGARDLESS of whether its source is this, that or the other.

Your brain will thank you!

No Biblical soundness from "X" but posts verses with a social justice flair and targeted against Biblically traditional Christianity.
Wrong contexts, wrong heart, (something wrong in the way to do human) while claiming faith in Christ. Haters like X are a dime a dozen now, coming out of the woodwork. Lying to themselves so much it becomes the truth to them. When you can get something so plain and sensible as gender wrong you will absolutely proceed to be wrong in everything else.
The ultimate play it forward expression of that is screwed up gender assigning, countering what Genesis made so clear and still holds true no matter what the new breed progressives (but old pagan belief recycled) want to do to it, so X is wrong at the very base for some reason, whatever reason that is.

But God is the Judge, and He will.

I'm not twisting it. I've been posting super biased left sources for a while now waiting for anyone to say anything about it. I even posted from the Wonkette a couple days back trying to get someone to fall into the trap.

you said - "The item stands or falls on its own merits."

If all you do is look at letters on a page and evaluate every item of media on it's own individual merit -- then all media is true unless you happened to be a first-hand witness or somehow KNOW otherwise. The only "media" I consume that is 100% true is the Bible. Other than that it's evaluated in the context of my biases, the media author's biases and the media's presenter/editors' biases along with my interpretation of their biases.

you said - "Instead learn to evaluate an item on its OWN merits (or lack thereof) REGARDLESS of whether its source is this, that or the other. Your brain will thank you"

Yes...critical thinking is important. That is why is absolutely crazy to abandon and dismiss "mainstream media" (which is where the majority of the real center fact-finding journalism takes place even though they have urban bias) entirely in favor of hyperpartisan right (or left) media or worse....absolute fabricating clickbait extremist media.

Review the following media chart:

https://www.adfontesmedia.com/static-mbc/#iLightbox[13d22628b594e40c352]/0

When you find yourself quoting from media in the red box - you SHOULD be aware you are propagating from a source that has been evaluated and found to deliberately provide "misleading, inaccurate & fabricated information". Nobody, especially Christians should hold out liars and con-men as actual sources of anything "to evaluate on it's own merits". When you participate in spreading known lies -- it make you a liar. Debating a story in the New York Times or Wall Street Joural at least deals mostly with a factual debate and the interpretation of real facts whereas sourcing and debating "facts" from Mike Adams at Natural News is not intellectually honest behavior.

In other words -- fake media DOES actually exist - learn to evaluate it and dismiss it as such - your brain with thank you.

Rayb,

I found this article which kind of sums up my thoughts on your attempt to anecdotally frame the Sinophobia of the Trump administration that has expanded into a broader problem of hate being directed at and against all Asian AMERICANS as a Black on Asian problem unrelated to MAGA White Nationalism.

"Bret Stephens, conservative affirmative action hire of the New York Times, argued last week that the media should stop making such a big fuss over the rise of anti-Asian attacks and hate crimes, which he considers as much a threat as climate change. Stephens, who is as sensitive to minority issues as anyone named “Bret," claimed that "the overall incidence of these crimes is relatively small."

....

The man who viciously attacked a defenseless woman Monday appears to be Black. Bret Stephens had downplayed the role of white supremacy because sometimes a Black or Hispanic person attacks someone of Asian descent. This is absurd. You'd think a New York Times columnist would know how white supremacy works, but here's a quick refresher for Stephens.

President Klan Robe [Trump] actively scapegoated China for the pandemic he ignored and mishandled. The one-term loser and his cronies referred to COVID-19 as the “China virus" or, even worse, “Kung-flu." Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany rationalized Trump's racism as simply naming the virus to "its place of origin," which is China where all the Asian people are. Last year, White House trade adviser Peter Navarro said, “I do blame the Chinese" for COVID-19 ... not the Chinese government but the Chinese people. (Note that only terrorist states are unable to separate American citizens from whatever issues they have with our government.) Pinning the blame for a global pandemic on the first victims of the outbreak is peak white supremacy. And setting minorities against one another is peak white supremacy too. Peak white supremacy just got squared.

Meanwhile, COVID-19 has hit Black and Hispanic Americans the hardest, both physically and economically. Republican governors, especially in the South, appease their MAGA constituents at the immediate expense of Black and Hispanic populations, while even “reasonable" Republicans joined the twice-impeached thug in blaming China for our woes."

The previous White House squatter sold COVID-19 as something that “China" had done to us rather than something that was happening to all of us together. Now, Americans of Asian descent are paying the price for his crass bigotry."

Seattle social-justice activist charged over anti-Asian hate attacks

Wednesday, March 31, 2021 by: News Editors

(Natural News) A Black Lives Matter activist and fervent Democrat Party supporter is accused of committing anti-Asian hate crimes in Seattle.

(Article by Andy Ngo and Mia Cathell republished from ThePostMillennial.com)

King County prosecutors charged 51-year-old Christopher Allen Hamner, of SeaTac, Wash., with a felony hate crime for targeting multiple Asian victims on two separate occasions in March. Hamner, who is mixed-race, is accused of threatening women and children of Asian background as young as five years old with racial slurs.

On March 16, Hamner allegedly harassed a woman while she was in her car with two children, ages five and 10.

Pamela Cole, the victim, alleged in a Facebook post that Hamner yelled, “F— you, Asian bitch!” She says he jumped out of his vehicle and started “punching his fist together” before throwing projectiles at her car. She called the police.

Christopher Allen Hamner is accused of threatening Pamela Cole and her children in Seattle. Photo: Pamela Cole

Three days later on March 19, Hamner allegedly cut off two Asian women with his sedan near a supermarket, blocked traffic in the middle of the road and screamed similar profanities at them. Hamner then got out of his car, charged at the victims who were driving together and launched an object at them, the probable cause affidavit cites. Jenny Wong, one of the victims, posted photos and video of her encounter with Hamner on Instagram.

A victim’s footage of Christopher Allen Hamner purports to show him charging at her. Photo: Jenny Wong

The Seattle Police Department arrested Hamner on Thursday. His bail is set at $75,000. He is being held at the King County Correctional Facility for the felony hate crime charge plus three additional counts of malicious harassment.

The videos and accusations against Hamner have been surprising for some given his reputation as a staunch BLM and racial-justice activist in the Seattle-area.

In June 2020, Hamner participated in the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ), where BLM and Antifa extremists seized six blocks of city property. He recorded video of himself in the zone where he was holding an anti-Donald Trump and anti-police sign.

Hamner was a participant in the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) in summer 2020

His social media is filled with posts expressing hatred of Donald Trump and Republicans. In February, he tweeted, “Sleep good tonight Rand Paul” along with an emoji of a knife and smiling face. He was responding to a tweet where the Kentucky senator was critical of Trump’s impeachment trial.

He has also posted dozens of times in support of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Democrat causes. He also posted frequently in condemnation of anti-Asian hate crimes and white supremacy.

Hamner’s social media is filled with posts against white supremacy. Screenshot: Facebook

After the recent shootings at the massage parlours in Atlanta, Hamner wrote on Facebook for everyone to “[s]tand UNITED against racism & white supremacy.” Local and federal investigators have stated that there is no evidence to support the accusation that the shootings, which killed eight people, were motivated by anti-Asian hate.

Hamner’s arraignment is scheduled for April 8 at the King County Courthouse.

COVID FASCISM: Biden administration plotting with corporations to push coronavirus vaccine passports that will discriminate against those with innate, functioning immune systems

Wednesday, March 31, 2021 by: Arsenio Toledo

(Natural News) President Joe Biden’s administration has reached out to the private sectors to coordinate their attempts to develop Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine passports that will force Americans to prove they have been vaccinated in order to travel freely and to participate in social life.

In effect, this effort uses corporations to discriminate against Americans who have healthy, functioning, innate immune systems that are capable of beating the virus without vaccine intervention.

The initiative to extend aid to corporations developing vaccine passports is driven largely by the Department of Health and Human Services. The concept of a vaccine passport has gained popularity among private sector executives, as many companies want to prevent unvaccinated people from entering their locations. Many are considering making a passport a requirement to enter movie theaters, restaurants, music and sports venues and to go on cruise lines.

Biden’s initiative follows an executive order he signed in January directing agencies to assess the feasibility of creating a unified and digital system for the vaccine passports, known as “international certificates of vaccination or prophylaxis.”

Andy Slavitt, a senior advisor to the White House’s coronavirus response team, said on Monday, March 29, that the private sector is leading the effort to create the unified vaccine passport database. The Biden administration will provide guidance on the matter, but supposedly will not own any kind of vaccination data.

“This is going to hit all parts of society, and so naturally, the government is involved,” said Slavitt. “We view this as something that the private sector is doing and will do. What’s important to us – and we’re leading an interagency process right now to go through the details – is that some important criteria be met with these credentials.”

Slavitt and White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that the criteria include making sure that all Americans will not have any barriers preventing them from signing up for their own vaccine passports, including technological barriers. Psaki added that the White House will work with companies to make the passports “private and secure.”

According to federal officials, a “chaotic and ineffective” vaccine passport system would hamper the country’s response to the coronavirus pandemic by “undercutting health safety measures, slowing economic recovery and undermining public trust and confidence.”

Despite the clear drawbacks to creating a vaccine passport, at least 17 different groups are attempting to create their own versions of it. These groups include the World Health Organization, the International Air Transport Association and the tech coalition known as the Vaccine Credential Initiative. (Related: Walmart will offer digital vaccine passport to customers, claiming it’s proof that vaccinated people are “safe.”)

Top Republicans against vaccine passports
Republicans are spearheading the fight against the implementation of vaccine passports.

Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida was one of the first people to vocally oppose it. On Monday, he promised to take executive action to prevent any attempt to make them a requirement in the state.

“It’s completely unacceptable for either the government or the private sector to impose upon you the requirement that you show proof of vaccine to just simply be able to participate in normal society,” said DeSantis.

In Ohio, Republican State Reps. Al Cutrona and Mike Loychik have pledged to co-sponsor legislation that would prohibit any entity from making vaccine passports a requirement for entering an area or establishment.

“A vaccine should not be mandated or required by our government for our people to integrate back to a sense of normalcy,” said Cutrona in a statement on Tuesday, March 30. “We’ve had restrictions on our freedoms for over a year and more restrictions or mandates are not the answer to every issue related to COVID-19.”

Many congressional Republicans have spoken out against the vaccine passport as well.

House Minority Whip Rep. Steve Scalise of Louisiana told Fox News that, if Democrats continue to push for vaccine IDs, “they now have zero grounds to object to voter ID laws.”

Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky came out with a similar attack. He wrote on his personal Twitter account: “If you think voter ID is racist, but a vaccine passport is just fine, you need some serious help thinking through public policy.”

“Vaccine passports are meant to control what you can do, where you can go and how much the government can know about your activities,” wrote Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert on her Twitter account. “Privacy is a right.”

“They are actually talking about people’s ability to buy and sell linked to the vaccine passport,” commented Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. “They might as well call it Biden’s Mark of the Beast.”

Other prominent Republicans that spoke out against the possible implementation of a vaccine passport include Reps. Pete Sessions of Texas, Jim Jordan of Ohio, Paul Gosar of Arizona and Madison Cawthorn of North Carolina. Donald Trump Jr., son of former President Donald Trump, said that every elected Republican must oppose it as an “un-American” idea.

From a 2008 article printed in the VERY LIBERAL San Francisco Chronicle:

Dirty secret of black-on-Asian violence is out

"San Francisco's hidden truth is out. That's what community organizer Carol Mo calls the realization that Asian residents are being targeted for robberies, burglaries and intimidation by young black men."

"City officials, including the Police Department, say these assaults are part of a larger crime picture where gangs of kids take advantage of a vulnerable group of small stature."

Renowned columnist calls out USA Today reporters, mainstream media for targeting powerless private citizens

Wednesday, March 31, 2021 by: Nolan Barton

(Natural News) Renowned columnist and book author Glenn Greenwald called out in an opinion piece the reporters of USA Today, and the mainstream media in general, for targeting powerless private citizens.

USA Today on Sunday, March 28, reported that the defendants accused in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot were trying to “crowdfund their legal fees online using popular payment processors and an expanding network of fundraising platforms.”

In an article titled “Insurrection fundraiser: Capitol riot extremists, Trump supporters raise money for lawyer bills online,” USA Today reporters Brenna Smith, Jessica Guynn and Will Carless detailed how the Capitol rioters spring from one fundraising tool to another, using new sites, usernames and accounts.

Greenwald said the only purpose of the article was to pressure and shame tech companies to do more to block these criminal defendants from being able to raise funds for their legal fees and to tattle to tech companies by showing them what techniques those indigent defendants are using to raise money online.

The second-most circulated newspaper in the country behind the Wall Street Journal didn’t merely report how the fundraising was being conducted. It also influenced a funding site and a payment app to terminate the accounts of two of those defendants – Joe Biggs and Dominic Pezzola. Both used the site Our Freedom Funding to raise funds for their legal fees.

“As of Wednesday afternoon, the Biggs fundraiser was listed as having received $52,201. Pezzola had received $730. Biggs’ campaign disappeared from the site shortly after USA Today inquired about it,” the article said. It also stated that: “A USA Today reporter was able to make a $1 donation to Pezzola’s fundraiser using Venmo, a payment app owned by PayPal. After being alerted by USA Today, Venmo removed the account.”

Some journalists at major media outlets abuse their platform

Greenwald pointed out that nearly 60 percent of the people facing charges related to the Capitol riot showed signs of prior money troubles, according to a Washington Post analysis of public records for 125 defendants with sufficient information to detail their financial histories.

“This USA Today article is thus yet another example of journalists at major media outlets abusing their platforms to attack and expose anything other than the real power centers which compose the ruling class and govern the U.S.: the CIA, the FBI, security state agencies, Wall Street, Silicon Valley oligarchs,” wrote Greenwald, who had been placed on numerous “Top 25” lists of columnists in the country and was named one of America’s Top 10 Opinionists by Newsweek magazine in 2012.

He went on to cite examples of how the media “use their huge megaphones to humiliate and wreck the lives of ordinary private citizens who they judge to have bad political opinions.” (Related: Trust in mainstream media plummets: Only 2% of young adults trust the media.)

“CNN confronted an old woman on the front lawn of her Florida home for the crime of having used her little Facebook page to promote a pro-Trump event they claimed was engineered by Russians. The same network threatened to expose the identity of another private citizen who created an anti-CNN meme unless he begged and promised not to do it again. HuffPost doxed the real-life name of an anonymous critic of Islam and triggered a boycott of her family’s business,” Greenwald wrote.

“Just last week, the Daily Beast decided to expose the identity of a private citizen at Spring Break in Miami and detail his marital and legal problems because a video of him went viral due to his being dressed as the Joker and uttering ‘COVID truther’ phrases. The same outlet congratulated itself for unearthing and exposing the real name of an African-American Facebook user whose crime was posting videos mocking Nancy Pelosi.”

Greenwald noted that everyone has the right to a legal defense and to do what they can to ensure they have the best legal defense possible – especially when the full weight of the Department of Justice is crashing down on your head even for non-violent offenses, which is what many of these defendants are charged with.

The right to a vigorous defense was the “same principle that caused then-candidate Kamala Harris to solicit donations last summer that went to protesters charged with violent rioting,” Greenwald added.

USA Today mum when Kamala Harris endorsed fund-raiser for Minnesota rioters

Interestingly, the USA Today article made no mention of the fundraising campaign by the Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF) endorsed by Harris in June last year to post bail for rioters arrested in Minnesota.

Harris, a vice-presidential candidate at that time, tweeted: “If you’re able to, chip in now to the @MNFreedomFund to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota.” (Related: Seven months ago, Kamala Harris bailed out criminal rioters; now she wants to punish Capitol “insurrectionists.”)

A quick Google search also showed no article from USA Today, or at least in its online platform, that has reported about Harris’s controversial tweet.

The Minnesota riots reportedly caused millions in property damage to more than 1,500 locations as rioters tore through dense stretches of Minneapolis, St. Paul and other metro communities in retaliation to the George Floyd killing.

Buildings along Lake Street in Minneapolis and a 3.5-mile stretch of University Avenue in St. Paul’s Midway area experienced some of the heaviest damage.

Pharmacies, groceries, liquor stores, tobacco shops and cell phone stores were ransacked, losing thousands of dollars in stolen merchandise. Many were looted repeatedly over consecutive nights. Gas stations, restaurants and even parked cars were set on fire.

Hundreds of rioters were arrested, but the MFF was able to raise about $20 million to fund their defense.

x can't and won't own up to call proven verifiable extremists extreme.
Instead has to stretch things mighty far to keeping trying to blame Trump, who did lots of anti-racism action in real time for real people, (imagine how that tide was turning and would have continued to turn under 45) but bitter x can't stomach the truth. He wanted a true racist as President and behold Biden, I mean, Harris (the Obama 3rd term).
A liar, malcontent, and a hater, for certain, and may be, as being surmised and questions surfacing...perhaps an issue regarding gender fits x too.....

Although I believe Trump to be an agent of satan and dislike MAGA ideology. I love those of you that love Jesus.

Been a tough day. My wife lost one of her best friends from her women's bible study group to Covid this morning. Mid-50's with minor children yet. My father is fading in hospice and when getting my haircut today found out the girl that cuts my hair nearly went on a ventilator 3 weeks ago with near-death covid and I didn't even know. She is/was a Trump sympathizer and was a health nut covid denier. We don't talk politics much but she regrets taking her health and overestimating her ability to shake off Covid because she's in her early 40's and exercises regularly. She has no idea when and where she caught it and she's the first recovered person that was hospitalized that I personally got to hear their story. It terrified her...checking into the hospital unable to catch her breath to even cough and having to say goodbye to her husband at the hospital entrance sick as a dog not knowing if it would be the last time. Scary.

I signed up for the vaccine Friday. I'm not waiting.

X, that is where you go wrong so often. Willfully so. You assume to bracket and label all others differing from you, assuming people are into MAGA as a "theology", when we are not simply because we voted for and supported the things President Trump was doing to reverse course further away from our biblical founding. I did not vote for a pastor. I have one. But more than that I have convictions from the Lord, my Lord, that honor His written word and why I feel no kinship with you. No brotherly like mindedness. You throw us under the bus to support and defend what is godless in policy (not talking about mere men in their behaviors here) but standing on what is right, standing with those who stand for what is right and leaving the results and consequences (good and/or bad) to God to whom I pray.
Do your vaccine already. I won't. And not because I don't care about others but in fact because I do. It's not a freedom choice what is going on in this country. So your "choice" as you cave to slavery. I am exercising mine. Will cost me dearly, coming 'round the bend, because America is no longer free. You and others, voted out, and cheated out, the one God allowed for a time, who would have upheld our freedoms to choose and speak and defend ourselves against tyranny that you actively choose to promote. You are walking lockstep with evil and okay with it. So be it. God sees and knows. He can handle His Own business. You could have taken a stand against evil and not voted at all and have a good conscience in this matter but we know your bottom line. It was not Jesus.

Dirty government(plural)has it's filthy hands all over not only that issue, of course, and you are determined to support dirty, gone totally dark side, filthy governors and leaders and celebrities and all other types who are socialists and godless--openly so. Trump was for a time. A time of testing. And America failed the test in it's waywardness against the Lord. It is never about him, the man, or anybody else for that matter. All are mere players on the world stage for God's time and choosing because really, it is all going by The Book. We all individually, have a takeaway here in choosing after our own hearts and minds and get what God allows. God has allowed the dark to be no longer be pushed back, but instead to rush in. Offenses come in the world Jesus said, but woe, He also said, to those through whom offenses come. That's you and your people, X, choosing for everyone else in that exercise, by hook and by crook, to have it your way.. We will all see increasingly how bad that works it's way out.

Loving Jesus is not, in the least, honored by those you support so how much you love Jesus and others who actually do, is shown not in your words but by what words and actions you are taking against Him. Words are all you've got, and the direction you're going proves....you do not walk with true believers. You have spoken out of both sides of your mouth. That qualifies as lies then. You do not honor the truth, no matter what you say or how often. What other things you leave open to question about you is only speculation, and who cares? not me, but for sure your not walking in truth. The Spirit always bears witness in true brotherhood.
Sorry but there is no brotherhood with you.

Psalm 50: 16-23 -- for X : to take or to leave.

16 But to the wicked God says:

“What right have you to recite my statutes

or take my covenant on your lips?

17 For you hate discipline,

and you cast my words behind you.

18 If you see a thief, you are pleased with him,

land you keep company with adulterers.

19 “You give your mouth free rein for evil,

and your tongue frames deceit.

20 You sit and speak against your brother;

you slander your own mother’s son.

21 These things you have done, and I have been silent;
you thought that I3 was one like yourself.

But now I rebuke you and play the charge before you.

22 “Mark this, then, you who forget God,

lest I tear you apart, and there be none to deliver!

23 The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me;

to one who orders his way rightly

I will show the salvation of God!”
