So Much Happening in the World -- and in our personal lives as well

Dear Reader:  I dashed this piece off last night at about 3:30 a,.m.  Reading it to my friend Lana today, I discovered it needed editing which has been made below.  Please excuse the less than perfect proofreading.  There may be more that needs to be grammar correected.  My vision issues are kicking in again for this evening.

Sorry!

So Much Happening in the World -- and in our personal lives as well

We have a neighborhood Bible study that was organized a few months ago by our next door neighbor.  During the pandemic, this group has been a comfort to us as churches have been made largely inaccessible.  We are going through the Bible, book by book.  My disabled husband always gives me his blessings and sends me off to it, cautioning me to be on time.  We open and close with prayer.   I pretty much know my Bible cold, but as our study leader (a community college teacher) gives weekly reading assignments, I find re-reading the Bible  makes it much more familiar.  We just finished the book of 2nd Samuel and will be reading and discussing 1 Kings next week, God willing.  We end with refreshments that all participants bring.  Good study and good fellowship!

I returned home from it Sunday afternoon and my husband was in his adjustable large lazy-boy type chair.  Usually when I return, we begin a lively discussion of who was present and what was gleaned from this week's readings.  I started talking before entering the family room.  Barry was uncharacteristically quiet.   I was startled to find him in his chair, clutching a pole lamp that appeared to be falling and unresponsive.  I made a quick decision to call 911 and our Fire Department came thankfully, very very quickly.  A shot was administered and then we gave him a glass of orange juice.  His blood sugar was dangerously low.  He was transported by ambulance to the hospital where his cardiologist practices.  Because of my wet type macular degeneration, night driving is now out of the question for me.  The Fire Department ambulance personnel suggested I wait to hear from the hospital rather than follow them there.

I then called one of my very loyal friends, Lana Mangiapane, who is also an elected Oakland Township Trustee.  She came immediately and drove me to the hospital.  Because of the Covid-19 rules, only one could enter.  I was taken by a speedy wheel chair pusher attendant to my husband's room in the Emergency section.  Tests were being run and he was given food.  As you may recall, Barry, my husband for the past 46 years is a bilateral above the knee amputee from an October 15, 1979 accident, occurring only five years past our marriage.  With the grace of God, we have lived through that situation since.  Barry has been a real trouper since that accident.  He, a former teacher, took a second MSW degree and took a new post- accident career as a substance abuse therapist/social worker.  He retired a few years ago.  He recently turned 82 -- making his post-accident recovery accomplishments even more remarkable.  Over the years, he drove a car with hand controls and we even managed a few trips together in earlier years.

Time marches on.  The times have clearly turned very strange.  Very few people now saying things such as "lo, all continues as since Creation."  The world is being prepared for a global reset.  Covid-19 is the claimed excuse.  We are, as they like to say "in a time of transition."

I wrote about "our coming age of Barbarism."  That was brought home to me by last night's events.  I was forced to fight for my husband's needed treatment.  Barry's body is weakening.  Transitioning from wheel chair to bed and showering and bathroom are becoming increasingly difficult for him.  He has had continual pain from the accident and has learned to live with it over the years.  Heart trouble set in for him in the early 21st century years, but a defibrillator and pace maker have been successfully employed.

As Lana was driving home on the Freeway, I received a type of "robocall" on my mobile phone.  It was  from the hospital.  This was the same hospital system for which in earlier years I received a restraining order from a local court.  The order which I sought and obtained on an emergency basis prevented them  "pulling the plug" against family wishes on a gentleman whose life they had written off as unworthy of living.  Family members employed me to fight after that hospital told them they were going to pull the plug on his ventilator.   The gentleman had been weakened for many days by the hospital giving him only a drug called Ativan and depriving him of nutrients.

Preparing for the emergency hearing scheduled by the Court to take place soon after the restraining order was issued, I discovered that hospital attorneys were giving seminars on how to persuade families to make end of life decisions for family members against their wishes.  That hospital's medical and administrative staff were making triage type "quality of life" decisions.  They were giving that gentleman only Ativan.   and depriving him of necessary life sustaining nutrients.   He had lost the ability to speak because of a bad intubation received from a feeder hospital.  Family members approached me after the hospital made demands that they designate a guardian who could authorize the life support ending.

As I was to learn when I got into that case on an emergency basis, interesting dynamics developed.  As I was to learn when we got into hospital records discovery, the hospital had assigned staff Social Workers to work with family members twice a week with sessions to explore "why won't they let go of Dad."  Then they successfully pressured the family member appointed to the guardianship to support "pulling the plug."

Other family members then rushed in and said that dad was clearly not brain dead and was clearly responding to signs shown him.  Concerned honest hospital employees were tipping the family that the man was obviously not brain dead nor "vegetative".  That was what the hospital unsuccessfully attempted to portray in our subsequent court proceedings.  I didn't have to start a new law suit.  I was able to seek the restraining order using the the very same guardianship the hospital had tricked the family into obtaining.

After obtaining the emergency restraining order preventing a next day removal of life supports, I served it on the hospital.  We served it after business hours and upon the medical staff where the patient was housed.  Hospital personnel protested that only their legal department could receive the court order.  I said, "you are served, you are on notice."  The plug was not pulled and we had an emergency hearing.   At that hearing the Judge ordered that the man receive intravenous (IV) nutrients of which he had been deprived and a subsequent hearing was scheduled.  The hospital tried to prevent evidence collection.  Hospital attorneys sent both myself and the family warning letters telling them not to photograph nor videotape.  Of course, they did, securing evidence that he was responsive.  We then had a subsequent hearing and then the feeding tube was ordered.

The day of the ordered operation on the feeding tube, and while the Judge on the case would have gone to lunch, I received a telephone call from the hospital that the operation had been held, the patient put on an ambulance and transported to a facility in Sylvania, Ohio.  Clearly, moving him for the time being out of Michigan jurisdiction.  I was stunned at the audacity of that move.  That was the BAD NEWS.  The good news was that the hospital had moved him only 15 minutes from my medical expert, Dr. Paul Byrne of Sylvania, Ohio, then head of the Catholic Medical Association.  Dr. Byrne had done previous radio interviews with me on "passive euthanasia" issues.  On our next scheduled Court proceeding, that good Ohio doctor came as both an expert and fact witness.  Even more admirably, he came at his own expense from Ohio.  The hospital's staff attorney came confidently strutting into the Courtroom.  I made a motion that the hospital be dismissed from the case.  The patient was no longer a "guest in their facilities," I argued.  The judge asked the attorney why he should stay in the case.  "Because our medical records are involved," said the hospital's lawyer.

The Judge roared:  "Medical records are involved in every case.  Out!"  She too was obviously disturbed  by the hospital's tactics.  During discovery, the hospital had long stalled on giving me access to the medical records of the patient.  Another lawyer, also a doctor, told me which medical records to ask for.  We asked for the EEG records.  The medical records people told me the EEG records were not there.  "And just where they?", I asked.  "They are stored in cardiology, the medical records person said.  "That's really interesting," I replied.  "Here are the EKG records.  This was the same night I took the deposition of the doctor determined to pull the plug.  The doctor pointed to alleged brain scan pictures and said "he hears nothing, he sees nothing, he knows nothing."

I had cross-examination fun on that one.  I repeated that statement to the doctor and asked if he really believed it to be true.  I then asked, "he is receiving Ativan (an anti-anxiety drug), is he not."  "Yes," the doctor said.   That is an anti-anxiety drug, is it not, I asked.  He cleared his throat and said, "yes, it's a tranquilizer."  Well, doctor, if he sees nothing, hears nothing, knows nothing, why would he need a tranquilizer?"  He cleared his throat and in his British accent, harrumphed, "well, I personally believe he needs nothing, but some of my colleagues are of a different mind."  He sat stony faced as we showed him the videos we obtained of this allegedly "brain dead" and/or "persistent vegetative state gentleman responding to family written messages.

Well, how does this relate.  I would have preferred my husband to to a separate hospital, but this hospital is highly regarded and promotes heavily in our area.  It now has a medical school attached.  It does have some excellent doctors.  It also had doctors such as the English doctor then on that case who I learned were attached to the British Eugenics movements.

All that was brought to me last night.  As we were driving home from the hospital, a call on my mobile phone told me my husband was discharged and we should pick him up and take him home.  I was astounded because my husband's condition was severe and something had caused his blood sugar to suddenly tank.  I told the caller that the situation smacked of medical malpractice.  Then, I trotted out in a heated discussion my attorney credentials and my long time knowledge that the hospital made "quality of life / triage type decisions."  A frail looking 82 year old bilateral amputee did not look like some body with a good quality of life.  Knowing my husband, his active and sharp mind and remarkable exploits in managing his disability, he has a life worthy of living as long as the Lord decides to keep him here.   I said many heated things and then the caller said, he would talk to the doctor and make a decision, but I should try to get him home that night.

Thank God, I didn't and couldn't.  During the night the same medical condition repeated despite food and nutrients being given.  I know I scared the hospital by threatening malpractice and raising my knowledge of the practice, but I know my husband is getting better care because of it.  I would not be at all surprised to receiving calls from hospital social workers asking me to sessions to explore "why we can't let go."  This lady is prepared for it.

Welcome to the New Age of Covid-Resets as are currently being promulgated by World Economic Forum and its leader Klaus Schwab.  A form of global trauma was deemed necessary for a reset and global governance launch.  At this time, I cannot definitively say that this is a "planned virus."  However, they are certainly not letting a good crisis go to waste.  The old New Age slogan as chortled by New Age author Marilyn Ferguson in her book AQUARIAN CONSPIRACY of "crisis = opportunity is happening.  A drastic lowering of the world's population, biodiversity, and thinning of the elderly were deemed welcome developments.

You are probably seeing things like this in your own medical institutions.  Sometimes, one just has to fight.  The nurse taking care of my husband seems conscientious.  But, I know there are institutional policies for less profitable patients and the inclination to dump a patient prematurely is happening.

Anyway, that's one of the reasons you haven't heard too much from me lately.  I didn't name the facility in this story to "protect the guilty."  If my husband had been sent home last night, he would have died from the later developments in the night.  I have been given several horror stories of families where people were sent home from emergency and the need treatment not given.  We are grateful for good neighbors and that same facility's differing  medical people who intercepted the decision to prematurely discharge.  Pray for us as we go through this difficult stage of our senior years.

Well it looks like this blogspot is in trouble if RayB's (etc.'s) exact screen name is duplicatable for post authorship heading. Constance, can this function be made so that exact duplicate posting names will not be allowed to be created by the 'Choose an identity' feature? Otherwise...

Well at least when the name is in green it's unique in that the attached blogspot address is unique:

John Calvin Killed Rival Theologians: Bad Bible Interpretation Justified It.

John Calvin’s interpretation of the Bible justified the murder of his theological opponents. He himself did not cut off any heads or light any fires that burned human heretics alive, but John Calvin’s preaching from the Old and New Testaments claimed those capital punishments aligned with God’s interests.

How so? Calvin did not believe all Old Covenant laws had been set aside by the New Covenant Jesus inaugurated. He didn't buy into the plain sense of Hebrews: “God has made the first covenant obsolete” (Hebrews 8:13). He maneuvered around Paul’s conclusion: “the Law became a tutor to lead us to Christ and now that faith has come we are no longer under a tutor” (Galatians 3:24-25; cf. Rom 10:4). Calvin dismissed this data from the New Testament and decided the moral laws in the Old Covenant laws of the Torah still applied. And killing people who perverted his pure doctrine was a moral necessity.

Calvin specifically justified capital punishment of heretics with Leviticus 24:16. “The one who blasphemes the name of the Lord should be put to death; all the congregation must stone him. Any foreigner or native who blasphemes the Name should be put to death.”

Jesus’ teaching to “love your enemies” didn’t stop Calvin from approving and promoting the death of his theological enemies. And Paul’s instructions for dealing with people who theologically disagree with you were equally ignored: “A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people. Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth” (2 Timothy 2:24-25). Calvin did not patiently discuss his differences with people who promoted competing ideas. Calvin requested beheadings, made death threats, and praised God for orchestrating the torture of heretics.

Calvin spelled out his theologically reinforced vengeance in a personal letter:
“I am persuaded that it is not without the special will of God that, apart from any verdict of the judges, the criminals have endured protracted torment at the hands of the executioner.” - Calvin's letter to Farel on 24 July (for more words directly from Calvin’s pen, read Selected Works of John Calvin)
Calvin believed God made sure criminals didn’t die quickly when tortured. This vengeful attitude and his support for outdated Old Covenant laws that legislated capital punishment for competing theologians that challenged his preferred doctrines look more like ISIS than Jesus.

Craig,

Maybe you’ll read it but I don’t have time to break this down into some good quotes but this short article seems to give a good factual breakdown of the background over the sloganeering “children in cages” including why the chain linked detention facility was originally built and how it was used, inappropriately it seems, thereafter.

Trump Tried to Blur Responsibility for His Family Separation Policy in Final Debate

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/23/us/politics/trump-child-separation.html

I was interested to learn how Mexicans Coming from a border country could just be processed and sent back but South Americans asylum seekers had different rules presenting different issues the legality of which overwhelmed or overburdened Trumps (FAIRs) ambition of simply shutting done the border.

Interesting too how the 2018 caravans were a result, in part, to the Striking down of zero tolerance by Bush appointed federal district court in California and “coyotes” advertising in South America that a window to immigration/asylum was now wide open so better try now. I had assumed the authoritative leaders and gang leaders were pushing such “caravans” in order to support their right wing brother Trump. Perhaps both theories are true in part?????

Possible Leaked Roadmap for the Next Phase of the Agenda

Dear REMOVED,

I want to provide you some very important information. I’m a committee member within the Liberal Party of Canada. I sit within several committee groups but the information I am providing is originating from the Strategic Planning committee (which is steered by the PMO).

I need to start off by saying that I’m not happy doing this but I have to. As a Canadian and more importantly as a parent who wants a better future not only for my children but for other children as well. The other reason I am doing this is because roughly 30% of the committee members are not pleased with the direction this will take Canada, but our opinions have been ignored and they plan on moving forward toward their goals. They have also made it very clear that nothing will stop the planned outcomes.

The road map and aim was set out by the PMO and is as follows:

– Phase in secondary lock down restrictions on a rolling basis, starting with major metropolitan areas first and expanding outward. Expected by November 2020.
– Rush the acquisition of (or construction of) isolation facilities across every province and territory. Expected by December 2020.
– Daily new cases of COVID-19 will surge beyond capacity of testing, including increases in COVID related deaths following the same growth curves. Expected by end of November 2020.
– Complete and total secondary lock down (much stricter than the first and second rolling phase restrictions). Expected by end of December 2020 – early January 2021
– Reform and expansion of the unemployment program to be transitioned into the universal basic income program. Expected by Q1 2021.
– Projected COVID-19 mutation and/or co-infection with secondary virus (referred to as COVID-21) leading to a third wave with much higher mortality rate and higher rate of infection. Expected by February 2021.
– Daily new cases of COVID-21 hospitalizations and COVID-19 and COVID-21 related deaths will exceed medical care facilities capacity. Expected Q1 – Q2 2021.
– Enhanced lock down restrictions (referred to as Third Lock Down) will be implemented. Full travel restrictions will be imposed (including inter-province and inter-city). Expected Q2 2021.
– Transitioning of individuals into the universal basic income program. Expected mid Q2 2021.
– Projected supply chain break downs, inventory shortages, large economic instability. Expected late Q2 2021.
– Deployment of military personnel into major metropolitan areas as well as all major roadways to establish travel checkpoints. Restrict travel and movement. Provide logistical support to the area. Expected by Q3 2021...

'You'll Bury Everyone Involved:' Bobulinski Recorded Biden Operatives Begging Him To Stay Quiet, Set To Release Tues

Ahem. Okay I'm gonna weigh in on some of this.

We did not follow the Chinese lock down style, except partly. Sure they cut down economic and social activity, BUT THEY PREVENTED ENTRANCE AND EXIT OF A MAJOR CITY AND ONE OR TWO OTHERS. We never did that.

Whether they were engaged in a major fraud, or God has heard some prayers and weakened the virus is anyone's guess. Also it seemed to be engineered to hit certain receptors that are less present in whites, which would let China cull some excess so they wouldn't mind, and out majority white population was less affected but it has been noted black people get it worse.

typical respiratory viruses are not contagious when you are not yet symptomatic, someone said. But this is engineered and is another matter.

Masks don't protect in any absolute way, they lessen the viral load if any you get. THE WHOLE THING IS AN ISSUE OF AIR CURRENT DRIFTS, AND DEFLECTING THEM. This is why CBW is so dicey, this is why only a few died and a few more got sick when Aum Shinrikyo cult in Japan unleashed sarin in a subway back in the 1990s.

Enormous ignorance seems to have developed about need of some minerals and vitamins. Take a lot of vitamin C, zinc and I forget the third thing, and you likely won't get it because the zinc will interfere with viral attachment to a cell. (too much zinc can make you horny, however. The nice feeling after swallowing the nasty salt and eggwhite tasting semen is a zinc blast, some argue for fellatio as good for the girl's skin. Just take zinc pills. zinc figures in shorten your cold type formulas over the counter. It is however toxic in too large steady doses. study up on this stuff.)

Biden for sure is a pedophile and incester, and corrupt as hell all along. After all, his start was Delaware, owned by DuPont. Study up on that one.

There are only two states where you can't get corporate filing information on a company or not much. Nevada (that at least allows you to get the names of top people) and Delaware (which gives you nothing). This may have changed, but was what the laws started out like. We all know what shaped Nevada, the Mafia and similar stuff. Delaware was apparently shaped by something even more scared of transparency.

What’s the average IQ of Trump voters?

https://medium.com/@tgof137/whats-the-average-iq-of-trump-voters-b46603548b35

The average IQ for urban white Democrats is 102 and for rural white Republicans it’s 97

This may not seem that significant but because 68% of the population is btwn 85 and 115, in order to obtain a five point differential means about at least 66% of the 16% of persons with IQs over 115 have to be democrats and less than 1/3 of 16% of those persons below 85 IQ levels are democrats.

I know it’s based upon testing of children county-wide but I think this study is fairly conclusive that children in Trump supporting counties do worse on standardized tests because, apparently and so ironically considering many of the white supremacist in the Trump camp, it appears conservatives could actually be genetically inferior to liberals.

Wow, Craig,
You're so clever (N@T)!

Judgement is the accepted spelling in British English. Webster first recorded the misspelling of judgment in his 1828 American Dictionary of our English Language, and Americans have been misspelling most of our true English words since then. ... In American legalese, “judgment” even more sharply predominates.

Michael Servetus was a Spanish physician and theologian who rejected orthodox Trinitarian doctrine. According to Servetus, God is one single person. He contended that the persons of the Trinity are actually “forms” in which God has chosen to manifest Himself. According to Servetus, Christ was made a man by God, and His human nature prevents Him from being God. Servetus concluded God is eternal, but Jesus Christ is not. In his denial of the Trinity, Servetus was seen as a heretic by Catholics and Protestants alike. John Calvin briefly corresponded with Servetus, but broke off all communication after the first few letters, as it was apparent that Servetus was unyielding in his denial of the Trinity.

In 1552 the Spanish Inquisition took action against Servetus, but he escaped their hands. Later, the French Inquisition declared Servetus worthy of death but had to burn him in effigy, due to his escape. In August 1553, Servetus traveled to Geneva where he was recognized and at Calvin’s request was imprisoned by the city magistrates. The trial of Michael Servetus lasted through October, at which time the Council of Geneva condemned him to death. Servetus was burned at the stake on October 27, 1553. The Calvinists and the Catholics both wanted him dead, but the Calvinists got to him first.

The condemnation and death of Michael Servetus has been a black mark on John Calvin’s record for centuries. Was the burning of Servetus justified, or was it cold-blooded murder? God will judge. In contemplating the history of Calvin and Servetus, it is good to remember the following facts:

– The laws in Switzerland made heresy punishable by death; Servetus’ death was thus justified in the eyes of the Geneva Council. Plus, the councils of Berne, Zurich, Basle, and Schaffhausen were consulted, and they all encouraged the verdict and punishment.

– Calvin agreed with the sentence of death passed on Servetus; however, he urged that in mercy Servetus be executed by the sword, not by burning. The council rejected his suggestion.

– Michael Servetus was the only heretic ever executed in Geneva in Calvin’s lifetime. In comparison, between 3,000 and 10,000 people were executed by Catholics in Spain alone during the Inquisition. As tragic as Servetus’s death was, it should be kept in perspective.

The wretched matter of Calvin and Servetus should teach us at least two things: 1) the Reformers were not perfect—even great men such as John Calvin can make serious mistakes; and 2) the New Testament church was never designed to double as a civil government.

X quoting from gotquestions.com though I don’t “worship” John Calvin like you worship the murderous blasphemous antiChrist Pope read your Bible, get saved and u will surely understand.

But if being a party to murder exposes one as a fraud...

Does Pope John XII then break the supposed chain of "real" vicors back to St. Peter?

It is for this purpose that Liudprand of Cremona, a partisan of the Holy Roman Emperor Otto I, gives an account of the charges levelled against him [Pope John XII] at the Synod of Rome in 963:

Then, rising up, the cardinal priest Peter testified that he himself had seen John XII celebrate Mass without taking communion. John, bishop of Narni, and John, a cardinal deacon, professed that they themselves saw that a deacon had been ordained in a horse stable, but were unsure of the time. Benedict, cardinal deacon, with other co-deacons and priests, said they knew that he had been paid for ordaining bishops, specifically that he had ordained a ten-year-old bishop in the city of Todi ... They testified about his adultery, which they did not see with their own eyes, but nonetheless knew with certainty: he had fornicated with the widow of Rainier, with Stephana his father's concubine, with the widow Anna, and with his own niece, and he made the sacred palace into a whorehouse. They said that he had gone hunting publicly; that he had blinded his confessor Benedict, and thereafter Benedict had died; that he had killed John, cardinal subdeacon, after castrating him; and that he had set fires, girded on a sword, and put on a helmet and cuirass. All, clerics as well as laymen, declared that he had toasted to the devil with wine. They said when playing at dice, he invoked Jupiter, Venus and other demons. They even said he did not celebrate Matins at the canonical hours nor did he make the sign of the cross.

The next time Servetus attended Calvin's Sunday preaching service on a visit, Calvin had him arrested and charged with heresy. The 38 official charges included rejection of the Trinity and infant baptism. The city magistrates condemned him to death. Calvin pleaded for Servetus to be beheaded instead of the more brutal method of burning at the stake, but to no avail. Some people see Calvin’s compassion in pursuing a more humane method of death, but ultimately he supported killing Servetus and all such heretics.

On October 27, 1553, green wood was used for the fire so Servetus would be slowly baked alive from the feet upward. For 30 minutes he screamed for mercy and prayed to Jesus as the fire worked its way up his body to burn the theology book strapped to his chest as a symbol of his heresy. Calvin summarized the execution this way:
“Servetus . . . suffered the penalty due to his heresies, but was it by my will? Certainly his arrogance destroyed him not less than his impiety. And what crime was it of mine if our Council, at my exhortation, indeed, but in conformity with the opinion of several Churches, took vengeance on his execrable blasphemies?” - Calvin This is what Murderer Calvin wrote: “Servetus offers to come hither, if it be agreeable to me. But I am unwilling to pledge my word for his safety, for if he shall come, I shall never permit him to depart alive, provided my authority be of any avail.” - Letter to Farel, 13 February 1546.

Calvin was responsible for the murder of many, not just Servetus: "When Jacques Gruet, a theologian with differing views, placed a letter in Calvin’s pulpit calling him a hypocrite, he was arrested, tortured for a month and beheaded on July 26, 1547. Gruet's own theological book was later found and burned along with his house while his wife was thrown out into the street to watch."

Calvin had a ten year old girl beheaded because she had slapped one of her parent's faces. Calvin and his brother in murder, Zwingli, murdered the Anabaptists (Orthodox Trinitarians) in the most horrific of ways. Yes, your murderous Pope in Perpetuum, John Calvin, was very Pontius Pilate- like indeed!

John Calvin’s Reign of Terror - Post 1

John Calvin, the spiritual father of the Presbyterian and Reformed churches, dominated the town of Geneva, Switzerland. From 1541 to 1546 the civil government enforced severe penalties against those who disagreed with his reforms. Although a Protestant, He showed by his actions that he had no disagreement with the basic principles behind the Spanish Inquisition — that the church was charged by God to enforce uniform belief and proper Christian behavior among the entire populace. As one biographer put it, “It was not in his nature to be evasive with heretics…” [From the Foreword to “Calvin’s Institutes, A New Compend,” page 10, Hugh T. Kerr, editor (1989)]. In a five-year period, fifty-eight people were executed and seventy-six were banished because of Calvin’s straightforward nature.
The most famous execution occurred in 1553 — Michael Servetus, a Unitarian. In that year he was passing through Geneva, fleeing the death sentence of the Catholic Church for his heretical views. Yet because of his lively interest in religious matters, he went to listen to Calvin, now one of the most famous leaders of the Reformation. Unfortunately for Servetus, he had sent some of his papers to Calvin seven years earlier, questioning many established doctrines, including that of the Trinity (the three Persons of God). Calvin had responded roughly to Servetus, refusing even to return the papers. Calvin had even then condemned him, showing his full agreement with the judgment of the Catholic Church. He had written to a friend that if Servetus ever came to Geneva, “I will never let him depart alive, if I have any authority.” [William R. Estep, “Renaissance and Reformation”; pages 221-248 deal with Calvin’s contribution to the Protestant Reformation.]
On that fateful day in 1553, Calvin recognized and denounced Servetus, who was promptly arrested and condemned as a heretic (one who disagrees with accepted beliefs). The laws of Geneva regarding heretics had changed several years earlier, and exile was the strictest penalty that remained. Nevertheless, Calvin favored cutting Servetus’ head off. The town went even further than this and burned the man alive… History records that he shrieked with agony when the flames reached his face, and burned for another half hour before dying [“The Renaissance,” by Will Durant, pages 482-484]. Such facts trouble sincere people. Do they trouble you? And a very troubling question is, why do the people with “good doctrine” murder the people with “bad doctrine”, and not the other way around?
The fact that the victims, like Servetus, often held heretical opinions tends to confuse the real issue for many Christians, namely: isn’t such killing the bad fruit of a bad tree? While no one in America today would want Unitarians executed, assuredly Calvin would, and so would Luther, and most certainly Augustine and many other Catholic theologians. The history of their churches leaves absolutely no doubt about this.
Calvin executed Servetus under the ancient law of the Empire known as Justinian’s Institutes, which, since 533 AD, had made two beliefs capital crimes: denial of infant baptism and denial of the Trinity. As the Encyclopedia Brittanica states, the Emperor Justinian’s concern for religious matters stemmed from “the extent to which church and state were indissolubly linked as essential aspects of a single Christian empire, the terrestial [earthly] counterpart of the heavenly polity (political organization).” [Vol. 10, page 364 (1979)]

John Calvin’s Reign of Terror - Post 2

This was the exact understanding of church and state that Calvin possessed, and it is not hard to find in the books of many who proclaim America a Christian nation. It is sobering to consider that at least five American Presidents (Unitarians or Deists) would have been executed under this code of law, and many, many other Americans as well. Every attempt of men to bring heaven to earth through law — and not through grace — has ended up freely shedding blood to do so.
So the question must be asked of all sincere believers: was Calvin correct in his view that heretics should be executed? And what does it say about him if he was wrong? A letter he wrote the King of England concerning the spread of the Anabaptists to England presents an even more difficult issue — the persecution of people who believed in all the orthodox Christian creeds. The problem with the Anabaptists was that, according to their conscience, they could not go along with Christians bearing arms, serving in government, or baptizing infants who could make no confession of faith. Calvin wrote King Henry the Eighth, “It is better to burn a few (Anabaptists) at the stake, than for thousands to burn in hell.”
If it was right to execute heretics back then, then why is it not right now, also? This is what many people fear whenever talk of a Christian nation comes up. On the other hand, if it would be wrong now, was it not wrong then? So, what then is the condition of the tree from which today’s mainstream Christianity has branched forth? This is no light issue. The answers to these questions can help determine which of the two women spoken of in the Book of Revelation each of us is a part of: the Bride of Messiah (Revelation 19:7-8) or the Harlot drunk with the blood of the saints (Revelation 17:6). Which woman were Calvin and theologians like him a part of? Calvin’s words on his deathbed shed light on this question, for as he faced death his cold doctrines could no longer silence his conscience. All he could say was, “I am a wretched sinner” [“A New Compend,” page 9].
Can Calvin’s actions in the case of Servetus be called anything less than pre-meditated murder? Did such deliberate violations of conscience on Calvin’s part cause him to become totally depraved, or was he always that way from birth, as his doctrines proclaimed? Is it not by their deeds that you shall know the false prophets? (Matthew 7:15-20). Is God a Calvinist, or is He the righteous Judge who will repay the wicked for their wicked deeds as Revelation 19:2 proclaims?

Too late, too late, Calvin awakened on his deathbed out of the drunken stupor he had lived in for so long (Revelation 17:6). Too late to bring any of his slain back to life, too late to undo the demoralizing effects his doctrines would have on millions. Too late to alter the evidence that proved he never knew God, or His Son — as the Savior’s own words make clear: “…an hour is coming for everyone who kills you to think that he is offering service to God. And these things they will do, because they have not known the Father, or Me” (John 16:2,3).

John Calvin’s Reign of Terror - Post 3

Many have made excuse for the violence of the Reformers, saying their deeds just reflect the times they lived in. Others have acknowledged it, but have swept the horror of it under the thought, all men are sinners, aren’t they? All men are sinners, but not all are murderers, not all are oppressors, not all have ruined other people’s lives as these men did. All sin is not the same, and not all sin makes a man worthy of the Lake of Fire (Romans 2:12-16). Even in the days of the Reformers some men were crying out for the freedom of the human conscience, often at the risk of their own lives.
The denial of human freedom in the history of Christianity is a scarlet stain stretching across centuries of agony and oppression. It is known sin for which there is no atonement, the complete denial of the words and example of the Messiah, who never once forced others to believe in His costly message. Indeed, the history and doctrines of Christianity are the greatest justification for not believing in her savior, as the third President of America saw so clearly:
“I can never join Calvin in addressing his God. He was indeed an athiest, which I can never be; or rather his religion was demonism. If ever man worshipped a false God he did. The Being described in his five points is not the God whom you and I acknowledge and adore, the Creator and benevolent Governor of the world, but a demon of malignant spirit. It would be more pardonable to believe in no God at all than to blaspheme Him by the atrocious attributes of Calvin” [Letter to John Adams, written in Jefferson’s eightieth year, quoted in “The Jefferson Bible,” page 378].

Quotations
“The Protestant authorities, following Catholic precedents, accepted the obligation to maintain religious conformity… soldiers [were sent] to take possession of all churches and monasteries; altars and statues were removed, and priests, monks, and nuns were banished… Censorship of the press, already established in Catholic areas, was adopted by the Protestants… at the request of Luther and Melanchthon the publication, sale, or reading of Zwinglian or Anabaptist literature, or the preaching or teaching of their doctrines, was prohibited.” [The edict also said that anyone who knew of such teaching, preaching or reading, even by close relatives, and who…] “do not give information, shall be punished by loss of life or property.”
This was no different than the laws passed by the infamous Spanish Inquisition, the supreme example of the oppression of the human mind and soul.

[From “The Reformation,” by Will Durant, page 424.]

Although Protestantism emphasized the right of private judgment and the sufficiency of individual faith for salvation, neither Martin Luther nor John Calvin intended to sponsor a system that condoned liberty of conscience. For each man there was only one truth, a single Church of God, and imperative need for perfection after a millennium of Catholic error. “Heretics are not to be disputed with, but condemned unheard,” Luther cried out, “and while they perish by fire, the faithful ought to pursue the evil to its source, and bathe their hands in the blood of the Catholic bishops, and of the Pope, who is a devil in disguise.”

[from Roger Williams, John Cotton, and Religious Freedom, by I. R. Polishook.]

More Posts Exposing the Murderer, John Calvin. Part 1

John Calvin was born Jean Cauvin in 1509 in Noyon, France.

His father Gérard Cauvin was severe. And controlling. He was a registrar of the government of Noyon, a solicitor in the ecclesiastical court, fiscal agent of the county, secretary of the bishopric, and attorney of the cathedral chapter. All that made him a government bureaucrat, a legal officer, and a religious boffin rolled into one. The worst kind of control freak, a religious one.

Let’s just say, Gérard Cauvin liked to be obeyed.

Calvin’s mother died when he was a child, leaving him under the control of the pedantic and imposing Monsieur Cauvin, who had decided that it would do his career no harm at all for him to hand his three sons – Charles, Jean, and Antoine – over to the church to become priests. There would be no negotiation.

He secured for them the best education available, insisted they fraternize only with the children of prominent families in Noyon, and fixed them up with ecclesiastical patrons.

When Calvin was only 12, his father had a tonsure shaved into his head, and he was told he was to report for duty as the chaplain to the altar of La Gésine in the cathedral of Noyon. He had been apprenticed into the family business – religion.

In 1523 he was sent to university to undertake theological studies in preparation to enter the priesthood. There, he excelled.

But a few years later, the domineering Gérard Cauvin fell out with the Catholic authorities in Noyon. Bitter and vindictive, he told Calvin to abandon theology. He was taking his sons back from the church!

Gérard Cauvin now thought a legal career would be more lucrative for the family than an ecclesiastical one. Compliant and heartbroken, Calvin left Paris to attend the University of Orleans to study law.

Calvin hated the law, but he submitted to his contrarian father and slogged his way through four years of study, until in 1531 he was released from his servitude. Gérard Cauvin had died.

Calvin was now free to return to theology. And the rest, as they say, is history.

But the apple hadn’t fallen far from the tree. By the time John Calvin had ascended to power in Geneva, he had become precisely the kind of legalistic, religious bureaucrat his father had been.

Like Gérard Cauvin, he didn’t take kindly to being disagreed with. He routinely referred to his critics as pigs, riffraff, dogs, idiots, stinking beasts, and impudent donkeys (that last one was reserved for the peace-loving Anabaptist, Menno Simons).

His treatment of his theological opponents is well known. Michael Servetus was executed by being burned at the stake. Calvin rejected any suggestion he was too harsh on Servetus by claiming that he had wanted to behead him instead (it was quicker and therefore more “merciful”).

Luckily for another critic, Jacques Gruet, he got the “merciful” treatment and was beheaded. Jerome Bolsec was imprisoned, as was Pierre Ameaux, who was also paraded through Geneva on his knees to confess his sin of daring to disagree with Calvin.

Gérard Cauvin’s son ruled with an iron fist. Between 1542 and Calvin’s death in 1564, there were 76 banishments. In one year, there were 414 prosecutions for moral offences (which included wearing the wrong color clothing or banned hairstyles or not naming your sons after Old Testament characters).

When a plague swept through Geneva, 14 women were executed as witches for apparently persuading Satan to send the disease.

Calvin’s own step-daughter and son-in-law were condemned for adultery and executed.

On the occasion of his wife Idelette’s death, Calvin eulogized her with, “From her I never experienced the slightest hindrance.” That was love-talk, coming from him.

Sebastian Castellio, a former friend of Calvin, who fell out with him over a point of theology, once remarked, “If Christ himself came to Geneva, he would be crucified. For Geneva is not a place of Christian liberty. It is ruled by a new pope, but one who burns men alive…”

The 18th Century Genevan philosopher, Jean Jacques Rousseau described Calvin this way:

“Who was ever more caustic, imperious, strong-willed and more divinely infallible, according to his own opinion, than Calvin? For him the least opposition, the least objection that someone dared to present was always considered a work of Satan, a crime deserving to be punished by fire.”

The Real Deep State Is Trump: How the president has used William Barr and other officials to turn the government into his personal fiefdom.

Written by Peter Stone/October 2, 2020 PART ONE

https://newrepublic.com/article/159551/real-deep-state-trump

The specter of deep state conspiracies against President Trump has long been a key rhetorical and political weapon in the arsenal of the Trump White House.

Trump and his loyal enablers have deployed the image of deep state foes in national security, public health, law enforcement, and other government agencies—and as their targets multiply, the sub-rosa conspiracy uniting them keeps expanding and morphing. Charges of deep state opposition to Trump have supplied an all-purpose rationale to attack intelligence that Russia interfered in the 2016 elections to help him win and is doing so again, and more recently to tar and sow doubts about health advisers and public health measures to combat the spread of Covid-19.

The deep state offers a convenient cover and alibi for all manner of executive branch power grabs and abuses founded on alternative facts and paranoid pretexts. In September, for example, the president tweeted unfounded allegations of deep state opposition at the Food and Drug Administration in order to raise the suspicion that entrenched political forces at the agency were blocking the speedy testing and approval of a Covid-19 vaccine “to delay the answer until after Nov. 3.” That same month, Health and Human Services communications flak Michael Caputo mounted a parallel attack in a now-infamous Facebook tantrum charging that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention harbored “deep state” elements bent on “sedition.” (Caputo’s outburst led to him taking a medical leave from his post, though he’s continued to air similar charges on right-wing news outlets.)

But amid all the bluster and invective directed at the vague and shape-shifting image of a deep state anti-Trump conspiracy nestled within federal bureaucracies, something very close to the opposite dynamic has taken hold: True-believing Trump administration loyalists have erected a deep state complex to shield and advance Trump’s agendas in the sanctums of Washington power and to boost his campaign prospects in 2020.

One unifying thread of the Trumpian theory of the deep state is an abiding disregard for expertise and evidence. This campaign against specialized knowledge has served various ends—from purging top Cabinet officials who don’t follow Trump’s dictums to quashing information Trump finds politically damaging, according to former senior intelligence hands and other officials.

Armed with this blunt article of faith, Trump has broadly expanded his own power, while consolidating his administration’s control of officially sanctioned disinformation. The result has downgraded the flow of information within the administration into a glorified sort of agitprop, former senior officials say—and this brings the Trump White House into clear alignment with elements of authoritarian regimes, where real deep states control information and bend laws.

“Trump came to office as the most ignorant and ahistorical president of all time,” John Sipher, who spent 28 years in the CIA’s National Clandestine Services, with a stint heading its Russia operations, told me. “Trump probably believed that the federal bureaucracy was the president’s personal tool to maintain political power.”

“He came into power thinking these institutions were his and would do his bidding,” Sipher added. “He’s trying to make these institutions beholden to him. He’s trying to create his own deep state, and is trying to make people complicit in his dirty deeds—like a Mafia boss.”

The Real Deep State Is Trump: How the president has used William Barr and other officials to turn the government into his personal fiefdom.

Written by Peter Stone/October 2, 2020 PART TWO

https://newrepublic.com/article/159551/real-deep-state-trump

Still, Sipher goes on to note that this mobbed-up vision of top-down message discipline also shares clear affinities with prominent anti-democratic regimes. “Trump wants to have a government that’s his personal weapon. That’s what Putin has and Erdogan has, too. I think Trump has a feral instinct for power.”

The collective track record that Barr, Wolf, and Ratcliffe have compiled on these fronts looks much like the functioning of an actual deep state in authoritarian countries such as Russia and Turkey.

That instinct also animates a trio of top Cabinet-level officials in the legal, national security, and intelligence worlds who’ve echoed Trump’s deep state rhetoric while aiding the cause of transforming the federal government into his personal fiefdom. Attorney General William Barr, acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf, and Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe have all helped amplify Trump’s campaign to discredit intelligence about Russian meddling in 2016 to help him win, and the Kremlin’s backing of the president’s reelection effort, sparking congressional criticism and sowing public confusion.

What’s more, critics charge, Barr, Wolf, and Ratcliffe have largely been selected on the basis of their willingness to erect a Trump-branded deep state that limits information that could harm Trump and pushes Trump-friendly narratives at the highest levels of government. Trump tapped all three since early 2019 to replace Cabinet-level officials who’d delivered politically unpalatable counsel to the president on threats ranging from Russia to China to domestic terrorism.

The collective track record that Barr, Wolf, and Ratcliffe have compiled on these fronts looks much like the functioning of an actual deep state in authoritarian countries such as Russia and Turkey, say ex-intelligence officials. In early September, for example, a top DHS intelligence official filed a whistleblower complaint with the agency’s inspector general, alleging Wolf had told him to stop reporting that Russia was interfering again to boost Trump, lest it displease the president and make him “look bad.”

Also in September, Barr appeared to be following the same administration-wide mandate to dismiss the Russia threat. Asked in a CNN interview to identify the chief foreign bad actor in the 2020 election cycle, Barr asserted without any persuasive evidence, “I believe it’s China,” adding only that he had “seen the intelligence.”

Barr’s claim puzzled and outraged many observers. After all, America’s top counterintelligence official, William Evanina, had told Congress in early August that Russia is using “a range of measures to primarily denigrate former Vice President Biden,” and is the most active foreign force in the pending election. Evanina said that China’s opposition to Trump has been mostly rhetorical and based on its concerns he is “unpredictable.” Representative Adam Schiff, who leads the House Intelligence Committee, bluntly pronounced that Barr was “lying.”

The Real Deep State Is Trump: How the president has used William Barr and other officials to turn the government into his personal fiefdom.

Written by Peter Stone/October 2, 2020 PART THREE

https://newrepublic.com/article/159551/real-deep-state-trump

Ratcliffe sparked a bipartisan firestorm on Capitol Hill in late August when he flatly announced he would no longer brief key congressional committees in person before the election about foreign threats. This was a dramatic break with precedent that, like the parallel efforts of Wolf and Barr, followed a clear pattern of these senior officials in sensitive posts tamping down the flow of information so as to enhance Trump’s political prospects.

Ratcliffe ultimately stood down from his “don’t ask, don’t tell” posture on Russian interference after the “Gang of Eight”—the elite group of congressional leaders who are briefed on classified intelligence—pressed him to reverse course. But he continues to spout the Trumpian deep state party line on the issue whenever he has the chance: He told Fox News in August that “China poses a greater national security threat to the U.S than any other nation, [including] threats of election influence and intervention.” And at the end of September, Ratcliffe took the dramatic step of issuing a letter to Senate Judiciary Chair Lindsey Graham that contained unvetted claims, originating with Russian disinformation sources, that Hillary Clinton had approved a plan to link Trump to the Russian hacking of Democratic National Committee computers as a 2016 campaign ploy. Graham, a strong Trump loyalist leading a review of how the FBI probed Russia’s 2016 meddling, quickly made Ratcliffe’s missive public.

The trio’s striking devotion to downplaying the Russia threat supplies a snapshot of the M.O. of the Trumpian deep state in action. An array of former officials and critics note that the rise of Barr, Wolf, and Ratcliffe has capped a concerted effort on Trump’s part to hide or distort critical information that might harm him politically on a wide range of foreign and domestic issues that could hurt his campaign.

“Trump is undertaking purges of people who disagree with him, and has put in place a Cabinet, a sub-Cabinet, and a White House staff that will largely agree with him, regardless of what is right or legal, if the president wants to do something,” says Miles Taylor, a former chief of staff under two Trump-era heads of DHS. “He’s hollowed out the senior ranks at DHS with the goal of ensuring that DHS will implement the more ill-advised aspects of his agenda uninhibited.”

“The president, if he’s been successful at anything, has been successful at creating a government that tells him what he wants to hear, not what he needs to hear,” Taylor explains. “It shows the unprecedented ways that Trump’s personnel decisions have translated into the policies he wants, but which may be inappropriate, unethical, or even un-American.”

Former intelligence leaders say that Trump has a knack for creating sycophantic followers—a skill shared among strong authoritarian leaders throughout the world.

“Trump has created sycophants who feed his ego,” says Doug Wise, a former deputy director of the Defense Intelligence Agency and a CIA veteran. “He manages and manipulates them with toxic leadership. The whole deep state is the creation of Trump for the manipulation and unification of his supporters.”

“Trump is the classic toxic leader. This is a leader unwilling to listen, who engages in excessive self-promotion and self-interest, is inconsistent in messages and lies, lacks moral and ethical core values, rewards the loyal and the incompetent, eschews accountability, surrounds himself with sycophants, and bullies both supporters and enemies.”

“Trump unifies people through fear and intimidation, and by creating real or imaginary external enemies,” Wise added. “He has created such an ideological and emotional external enemy in the deep state.” It’s not dissimilar to the “deep-state-like” demagoguery of Joseph McCarthy, Wise suggests—a fitting analog in many ways, since Trump himself came into public life under the personal tutelage of McCarthy’s former right-hand man in Washington, lawyer Roy Cohn, whom Trump enlisted as a business consigliere early in his career.

Ex-officials stress that Trump, like other authoritarian figures, has displayed a penchant for ousting officials who don’t adhere to his political whims and dictates. “Trump is fundamentally about self-interest,” Paul Rosenzweig, a former senior DHS official and ex-prosecutor for the Department of Justice, says. “He has, slowly but surely, bent the government to his service.”

Ex-officials stress that Trump, like other authoritarian figures, has displayed a penchant for ousting officials who don’t adhere to his political whims and dictates.
Rosenzweig notes that Trump’s initial set of premier Cabinet officials, such as Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Defense Secretary James Mattis, and DNI head Dan Coats, “were strong actors who resisted his greatest excesses.” Once Trump sent them packing, he made a point of recruiting die-hard loyalists in their stead. Their replacements, Rosenzweig says, are “all sycophants who would never dare to cross him.”

Written by Peter Stone/October 2, 2020 PART FIVE

https://newrepublic.com/article/159551/real-deep-state-trump

The costs of speaking out on issues that Trump deems politically offensive can be high, as FBI Director Chris Wray has lately learned.

Less than 24 hours after Wray told the House Homeland Security Committee in mid-September that Russia was mounting “very active efforts” in 2020 to “denigrate” Biden, Trump blasted Wray in a vitriolic tweetstorm. Again without citing any evidence, Trump pronounced China a “FAR greater threat than Russia, Russia, Russia.”

A day later, Trump even darkly hinted he was mulling replacing Wray, telling reporters, “We’re looking at a lot of different things.”

“I did not like his answers yesterday,” Trump continued. “I’m not sure he liked them either. I’m sure that he probably would agree with me.”

Trump has also exploited the bogeyman of deep state opposition to stave off congressional and independent oversight and politicize more and more high-level posts.

Just this year, Trump and top administration allies moved aggressively to oust several inspectors general as they were conducting inquiries into alleged abuses by senior officials at State, Defense, and Intelligence. In response, House Democrats have proposed legislation to insulate and protect government watchdogs from political retaliation.

Nor does the administration’s multifront political offensive stop at the water’s edge: Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has likewise weaponized his agency’s mission to mimic the deep state operating style sanctioned by the White House.

“Pompeo has politicized the department more than any secretary I can recall, including through his remarks to the RNC from Jerusalem, a trip paid for by American taxpayers,” David Kramer, a senior State official in the George W. Bush administration, says. “Pompeo’s efforts to ingratiate himself to the president paid off when he convinced Trump to fire the State inspector general—who was investigating the secretary on several different matters, including his misuse of department resources.”

The Real Deep State Is Trump: How the president has used William Barr and other officials to turn the government into his personal fiefdom.

Written by Peter Stone/October 2, 2020 PART SIX

https://newrepublic.com/article/159551/real-deep-state-trump

Wise, the ex–Defense Intelligence Agency number two, noted that all the dismissed inspector generals got the same stigmatizing treatment on their way out the door; they “were deep state operatives to Trump.”

Even in an administration that thrives on pushing deep state conspiracies with minimal regard for facts and evidence, William Barr stands out. In a fairly short span of 19 months in office, Barr has established himself as Trump’s boldest sycophant, deploying his broad powers as attorney general to help Trump’s campaign agenda, in brazen violation of Justice Department norms and policies, several former department officials say.

In a spate of media interviews, Barr has duly amplified Trump’s unsupported, almost daily rants predicting rampant voter fraud due to the large expansion of mail-in voting in next month’s presidential balloting. Barr has falsely claimed that “there’s no more secret vote with mail-in vote,” and charged in Fox News interviews that Democratic efforts to expand mail-in ballots were “reckless” and “grossly irresponsible,” while the Trump campaign keeps mounting legal challenges to expanded mail-in voting due to the pandemic.

Channeling Trump further, Barr has hyped the president’s conspiratorial campaign narrative about threats to law and order by Black Lives Matter—some of whom he branded “Bolsheviks” with a “lust for power” in an August Fox News interview—and largely peaceful protests over the police killing of George Floyd, while raising the specter of alleged coordinated terrorist activity sponsored by networks of antifa protesters. At the same time, Barr has downplayed violence from right-wing militias. Barr has also launched a high- profile—and Trump-endorsed—investigation of the early federal inquiries into Russian interference in 2016. In further defiance of agency norms, the attorney general has publicly detailed and improperly discussed parts of this investigation of the investigators, say former Justice Department hands.

Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf, like Barr and Ratcliffe, has told officials to downplay the threat of Russian interference in the election.

As the election nears, critics also say that Barr has been much more aggressive in using department resources and discretionary enforcement powers to advance the president’s 2020 campaign prospects. In late September, for example, Barr helpfully alerted Trump first to a fledgling probe in Pennsylvania that nine ballots—seven of which were reportedly filled out for Trump—were improperly discarded. Trump promptly disclosed this tip during a Fox News interview, to spin his narrative on how early mail-in voting was already succumbing to rampant fraud orchestrated by the Democratic opposition. Meanwhile, Justice and State officials later issued a few press releases, with no mention of fraud, to clarify that the ballots were discarded in a trash can by a temporary contractor who was dismissed—which prompted the inquiry.

Barr’s unseemly leaking of a pending state inquiry coupled with the Justice Department’s announcement “violated DOJ’s own policy manual on investigating cases,” says Gerry Hebert, a former Justice official who spent 21 years at the department in the voting rights section. “Barr’s briefing of the president on that investigation before it was even made public so Trump could announce it on Fox News is further evidence of Barr abusing the power of his office and trying to undermine confidence in our elections. Barr and Trump are joined at the hip and are engaging in a pattern and practice of vote suppression activities.”

Barr, Hebert adds, has “engaged in repeated efforts to cast doubt about the validity of elections by making false statements,” such as claiming that 1,700 fraudulent ballots in Texas were cast by mail—a fabrication that the Justice Department later had to walk back.

Former department officials further stress that Barr’s legal worldview, which is steeped in the alleged preeminence of “the unitary executive” in the American political system, fits together very closely with Trump’s own strongman impulses. “Barr is working across the board to defeat the checks and balances that limit executive power, with the objective of making the president a virtual autocrat with powers to do pretty much anything he wants to,” says Donald Ayer, a 10-year department veteran and a deputy attorney general in the George H.W. Bush administration who has known Barr for almost four decades. Ayer notes that, especially during this election year, “Barr has been using the full powers of his office to promote Trump’s campaign themes and get him reelected”—again in defiance of long-standing post-Watergate norms at the department, which have sought to divorce its operations from bald political agendas.

Barr’s tenure as attorney general was still in its infancy when he held an unusual press conference to promote a misleading four-page summary of the findings of special counsel Robert Mueller’s two-year inquiry into Russian meddling in the 2016 election and possible collusion with Trump’s campaign. Barr’s bowdlerized account of the Mueller report—prior to its release—helped distort early press coverage of the ex-FBI director’s nearly 450-page report, which concluded that Russia interfered to help Trump in “sweeping and systematic” fashion; thus Barr effectively muddied the debate around the 2016 Trump campaign’s close ties to Russia so as to serve the narrative peddled by Trump himself—that “deep state” enemies at the FBI and other intelligence agencies were conniving to undermine his campaign and presidency.

The same general pattern holds in Barr’s own high-profile investigation into the investigators at the FBI and CIA who, in 2016, launched a probe into Russia’s possible collusion with the Trump campaign.

Last May, Barr tapped John Durham, a federal prosecutor in Connecticut, to lead the inquiry: While Barr has been actively involved in the probe and oversees it, he also has publicly derided Mueller’s probe as “one of the greatest travesties in American history.”

The Durham inquiry is still ongoing, but Justice Department veterans note that Barr has improperly dropped several strong hints in media interviews that it will produce significant charges—beyond a felony plea last month by a mid-level FBI lawyer that he altered a document to grant wiretapping authority.

The Real Deep State Is Trump: How the president has used William Barr and other officials to turn the government into his personal fiefdom.

Nora Dannehy, a senior Justice prosecutor and top aide on Durham’s team, resigned in September, an abrupt exit reportedly fueled by concerns that the team was facing improper political pressure from Barr, perhaps to get out an interim report before the election. Her departure was just the latest indication that the whole probe may be scheduled to deliver an “October surprise” for Trump to exploit over the final stretch of the campaign. Barr himself has publicly hinted as much: “There are going to be developments, significant developments, before the election,” he promised the public in August.

In the wake of Dannehy’s resignation, eight top Senate Democrats called for an inspector general investigation into whether the Barr-Durham probe was being politically driven to help the Trump campaign. Four House Democrats—including Intelligence panel chairman Representative Adam Schiff—sent a similar letter on September 18 to the Justice Department’s inspector general urging an “emergency” inquiry.

“Barr has been actively engaged in misleading the public in ways worthy of Joseph Goebbels’s Big Lie technique.”
Barr has been keeping the inspector general busy. Two other investigations were already focusing on his eager guardianship of Trump’s political interests at the time of Dannehy’s resignation. One is looking at whether Barr was doing the president’s bidding when he moved to lower sentencing recommendations by career Justice Department prosecutors for Trump confidant and self-styled “dirty trickster” Roger Stone after Stone had been convicted on seven counts, including lying to Congress and witness tampering. Stone was later sentenced to 40 months in prison—which fell within the three to four years Barr endorsed—but days before he was due to report to jail, Trump commuted the sentence.

The inspector general also announced, in July, a probe into the use of force by federal law enforcement—which Barr was overseeing—to remove mostly peaceful protesters around Washington, D.C.’s Lafayette Square, in the wake of George Floyd’s killing, right before Trump exited the White House and walked to a nearby church for his botched photo op holding a Bible [DELIBERATELY?] upside down.

The Real Deep State Is Trump: How the president has used William Barr and other officials to turn the government into his personal fiefdom.

Written by Peter Stone/October 2, 2020 PART NINE

https://newrepublic.com/article/159551/real-deep-state-trump

Justice Department veterans lament that the damage of Barr’s conspiracy-fueled reign stretches well beyond the nation’s head law enforcement arm. In the eyes of ex–Deputy Attorney General Ayer, “Barr has been actively engaged in misleading the public in ways worthy of Joseph Goebbels’s Big Lie technique, by repeatedly accusing the Democrats of being the ones tearing down our system and shredding norms and claiming for himself the mantle of the rule of law and allegiance, above all else, to evenhanded administration of justice.”

The latest front to open up in the Trump White House’s rhetorical war on the deep state, of course, concerns the raging Covid-19 pandemic, as the Trump campaign has frantically sought to hype the White House’s woeful track record on containing the virus’s spread.

Trump has continually assailed the performance of senior health officials in order to counter the glaring evidence that he has badly bungled the national response to the Covid crisis.

“Everybody understands the life-saving value of masks,” Dr. Howard Koh, a professor at Harvard’s public health school, told me. “But Trump’s message has been consistently inconsistent.

“There is no sense of deference in the administration to what is scientific fact and evidence-based policies,” Koh stressed. “The president has repeatedly criticized the CDC and the FDA. We’re in the worst public health crisis in our country in a century. At a time like this, you need to turn to the top health experts.”

Instead, Trump has mounted a series of attacks on the CDC and its director, Robert Redfield, particularly after Redfield testified to Congress about the severely flawed federal response to Covid-19.

On September 16, Redfield told a Senate panel that wearing a mask could be more effective in slowing the spread of Covid-19 than a vaccine when it ultimately arrives. He noted, as well, that a vaccine is unlikely to be widely available until the end of the second or the third quarter next year.

None of this sat well with the president, who promptly set out to undermine the counsel of a premier health official. Just hours after Redfield’s testimony, Trump staged a White House press briefing where he claimed, with no evidence, that the CDC director “had made a mistake” and that the “mask is not as important as the vaccine.”

In lieu of consistently and fully endorsing the CDC’s directives on mask wearing, social distancing, and other recommendations, Trump opted in August to recruit a new senior Covid adviser, Dr. Scott Atlas, a radiologist who lacks public health or infectious disease experience. Atlas touts mask-free responses to the pandemic such as the “herd immunity” approach variously adopted in Sweden and the U.K., to minimal practical effect, and at great enhanced risk of mass Covid transmission.

In keeping with those of the other custodians of the Trumpian deep state, Atlas’s chief credentials are ideological: He’s a fellow at Stanford University’s right-wing Hoover Institute and a frequent Fox News commentator. Atlas’s views have especially irked Redfield, who was overheard on a flight telling someone that “everything he says is false,” as NBC News first disclosed and Redfield confirmed.

Even before Atlas arrived, the White House began fighting hard to downplay and alter CDC guidance on the risks of reopening schools this fall, according to Olivia Troye, a former top aide to Vice President Mike Pence.

The Real Deep State Is Trump: How the president has used William Barr and other officials to turn the government into his personal fiefdom.

Written by Peter Stone/October 2, 2020 PART TEN

https://newrepublic.com/article/159551/real-deep-state-trump

Public health experts are increasingly shocked by Trump’s politicized policies about Covid-19, which they say endanger the fight against the pandemic.

“If this is a war, we have a commander in chief who has been serving with partisans from the other side—the side that enhances the effectiveness of the virus,” says Dr. Jeffrey Koplan, who ran the CDC from 1998 to 2002 and now leads a global health program at Emory University. The politicized nonresponse to the Covid crisis means that Trump and his chosen inner circle refuse to “reinforce the scientists”—and that, Koplan notes, “is clearly something that gives the virus an additional opportunity.”

The risks of Trump’s unfounded claims were underscored by a September poll showing that two-thirds of Americans say they won’t take a vaccine as soon as it’s available. Those numbers bear out Redfield’s testimony before Congress debunking Trump’s upbeat vaccine prognostications. “Unless we reverse that level of (public) distrust, the pandemic will go on indefinitely,” Koh predicted.

With the election looming, Trump and his tight coterie of loyalists are closing ranks to tar critics inside and outside the administration with the broad brush of deep state.

Trump loyalists seem to be accelerating their attacks on key administration officials, including FBI Director Wray. Just a day after Wray’s September 24 testimony to a Senate panel that FBI officials “have not seen, historically, any kind of coordinated national voter fraud effort in a major election, whether it’s by mail or otherwise,” Trump’s Chief of Staff Mark Meadows laid into him in a CBS interview. “With all due respect to Director Wray, he has a hard time finding emails in his own FBI, let alone figuring out whether there’s any kind of voter fraud.” Meadows reprised the attack a few days later in another CBS interview. “That’s my problem with Director Wray,” Meadows said. “They need to investigate” claims of voter fraud “and make sure that the voting populace—make sure that their vote counts and no one else’s does.”

Once more, the White House’s effort to conjure deep state detractors serves mostly to distract attention from an actual election-related conspiracy hiding (more or less) in plain sight: the renewed specter of Russian interference in the 2020 election cycle. The FBI and intelligence veterans see growing signs that the Kremlin is exploiting Trump’s constant invocation of election fraud to expand its own campaign to scramble the final weeks of the American election so as to hurt Biden and foment distrust in the electoral process.

The Real Deep State Is Trump: How the president has used William Barr and other officials to turn the government into his personal fiefdom.

Written by Peter Stone/October 2, 2020 PART ELEVEN

https://newrepublic.com/article/159551/real-deep-state-trump

Earlier in September, FBI Director Wray testified twice before congressional committees about intelligence that Russia is aiming to “denigrate Biden” and “sow divisiveness and discord.” Wray also reported that the Kremlin is using social media and “proxies, state media, online journals” to hurt Biden. And in late September, the FBI and DHS jointly warned that foreign actors led by Russia are spreading disinformation and mimicking unfounded charges by Trump, like the president’s allegation that mail-in ballots will lead to “massive electoral fraud and a rigged 2020 election.”

CIA veterans also report that we’re now witnessing ample cross-fertilization between the conspiratorial messages spread by Trump and Moscow. “Trump’s efforts to deflect from criticism that he is aligned with Russian interests are increasingly difficult to avoid,” John Sipher says. “He has shown a pattern of mouthing Kremlin talking points and disinformation to the point where he has become a source of material for Putin’s intelligence services. Unlike 2016, the Russians hardly have to invent disinformation—instead, they can simply quote and amplify Trump’s own words in order to stoke chaos and create confusion in the U.S. electorate.”

“Conspiracy theories are the domain of the ignorant and uneducated, who long for an explanation for events or circumstances that are beyond their grasp,” says Marc Polymeropoulos, who spent 26 years in the CIA’s senior intelligence service. “When politicians adopt them, particularly those with followings at a national level, they are weapons that can be used for malicious purposes, and hostile intelligence services can weaponize these conspiracy theories, with the assistance of our politicians (wittingly or unwittingly), and can cause mayhem and chaos for their adversaries.”

“Trump’s obsession with the deep state falls in this category,” Polymeropoulos explains. “He finds that anyone who objects to his policies or beliefs—most of which are far outside the mainstream of traditional rational thinking—are deep staters who want to block his agenda.”

The underlying logic is simple, he observes—and can be easily repurposed to damage the credibility of any agency or official the Trump administration chooses to designate as its foe of the moment. “The [intelligence community] assesses that Russia is our enemy—there you go, it’s the deep state again. He believes in a new drug to fight Covid, yet the CDC and FDA say that there are not enough trials to state conclusively that the drug works. Again, the deep state is blocking his agenda.”

There’s no apparent outer limit to adapting deep state credos to serve the bald political agenda of the Trump White House and his campaign—except to acknowledge that the Trumpian version of the deep state keeps defying hard evidence and science, while operating without accountability and transparency. Regardless of how the balloting plays out in next month’s election, it seems clear that a key legacy of Trump’s presidency can be summed up in one simple phrase: “The deep state—c’est moi.”

@6:43 AM,

So? I don't trust Allsides. It has a right wing bias, even though it pretends otherwise. Unlike many of you goose stepping filth who now frequent here, I do not believe creating hundreds of thousands more homeless, people without access to healthcare or true education and others deprived of refuge is a Christian thing to do. See you all on Judgment Day, you heartless monsters!

Of course you don't trust it and without proof call it biased. You're evidently only open to that with which you happen to agree, right or wrong. A case of misbegotten hatred churning in and inflaming a mixed-up mind, sad.

7:41 AM,

Ditto regards the 6:43 AM post. The righteous anger I feel towards the kind of filth to which you align yourself does not equate to hatred. You'll find all that hatred inside your very own Sodom and Gomorrah like hearts.

I do not hate you. Yet you should know the sin of Sodom: "thy sister, Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good."

Yes, it was destroyed because of its perversion too. The evil men there so ill treated the strangers, they demanded to rape them.

I wonder what the racist perverts employed in detention centers along the US Southern border are doing to little boys separated from their parents because of Trump?

Luke 10

Jesus Sends the Seventy-Two

1 After this, the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of Him to every town and place He was about to visit. 2 And He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest.

3G o! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves. 4 Carry no purse or bag or sandals. Do not greet anyone along the road.

5 Whatever house you enter, begin by saying, ‘Peace to this house.’ 6 If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; if not, it will return to you. 7 Stay at the same house, eating and drinking whatever you are offered. For the worker is worthy of his wages. Do not move around from house to house.

8 If you enter a town and they welcome you, eat whatever is set before you. 9 Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God is near you.’

10 But if you enter a town and they do not welcome you, go into the streets and declare,
11 ‘Even the dust of your town that clings to our feet, we wipe off as a testimony against you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God is near.’ 12 I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town.

7:41 AM, You are of the sort of people who would have turned Mary away even from the stables if you could have. The sort of people who would have left the man robbed and beaten, described in Luke 10, and crossed over the road:

29 But wanting to justify himself, he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

30 Jesus took up this question and said, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him, beat him, and went away, leaving him half dead.

31 Now by chance a priest was going down the same road, but when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

32 So too, when a Levite came to that spot and saw him, he passed by on the other side.

33 But when a Samaritan on a journey came upon him, he looked at him and had compassion. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

35 The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Take care of him,’ he said, ‘and on my return I will repay you for any additional expense.’

36 Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”

37 “The one who showed him mercy,” replied the expert in the law.

Then Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

Hebrews 13: Concluding Moral Directions

1 Let brotherly love continue. 2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. 3 Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also.

4 Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6So we may boldly say:

“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?”

There is nothing Pro-Life about Donald Trump

Dear Cardinal Dolan,

Your recent phone call with President Trump and appearance on Fox News sends a message that Catholic leaders have aligned themselves with a president who tears apart immigrant families, denies climate change, stokes racial division and supports economic policies that hurt the poor. There is nothing "pro-life" about Trump's agenda.

Please speak truth to power and refrain from giving even the appearance that bishops have their hands on the scales in this election.

Neither political party fully reflects all aspects of Catholic social teaching. I'm guided by my faith, not partisanship. But this president's extreme cruelty and basic lack of respect for human dignity must be challenged.

When religious leaders put access to power before principles, they risk losing the moral clarity needed to ensure politics is about the pursuit of the common good. I pray that you and other bishops will show the leadership our country needs at this difficult time.

Open Letter To Professing Christians Who Don't Plan To Vote For Trump

On Nov. 3, Christians will determine whether America embraces life and freedom or death and tyranny

By David Kupelian | WND
Published October 26, 2020

Americans are in the midst of what is undoubtedly the most consequential election since the Civil War.

It’s hard to imagine a greater contrast between the two choices. As evangelist Franklin Graham puts it, these “two vastly different directions for the future of this country” will affect not just today’s Americans, “but our children and our grandchildren” as well.

Ironically, though one of these possible “futures” is clearly pro-life and pro-freedom, and the other is clearly anti-life and anti-freedom, large numbers of professing Christians intend either to vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, or even more inexplicably, not to vote at all.

Why?

Last week, popular evangelical pastor John Piper made his case for Christians not voting for either Donald Trump or Joe Biden.

Piper makes clear from the get-go that Biden’s far-left policies are abhorrent to Christians, acknowledging that they’re geared toward what Piper describes as “baby-killing, sex-switching, freedom-limiting and socialistic overreach.”

But what about Trump, whose policies for the past four years have proven to be overwhelmingly consistent with, and supportive of, evangelical Christian sensibilities and concerns? Donald Trump is, in fact, widely regarded as the most pro-life president of our lifetime. Likewise, as president he has been the best friend of Israel in a generation, courageously recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moving the U.S. Embassy there – something many previous presidents of both parties promised but failed to do. And Trump has consistently championed religious freedom and freedom of speech, both under brutal attack by the radical left, which – truth be told – is essentially hostile to Christianity.

So what’s the problem? Piper is concerned that Trump’s personal failings, specifically four things – his “unrepentant boastfulness,” his “vulgarity,” his “factiousness” and his past “sexual immorality” – are also, like abortion and socialism, “deadly,” even potentially “nation-corrupting.” Therefore, he said, he will not vote for either candidate.

Putting aside Piper’s odd moral equivalence between rampant abortion and boastfulness, does the good pastor not realize that when you vote for a president, you are not choosing only one leader and his policy agenda, but a multitude of leaders and policies in every area of life, and therefore a whole “future” for the country, as Franklin Graham put it? Most prominently, you are choosing a vice president who may well become president (as has happened 14 times in U.S. history). You are also choosing Cabinet and department heads. And you are choosing federal judges, including Supreme Court justices with lifetime tenure who will decide issues of stupendous importance that affect every American. And you are choosing thousands of other people – about 4,000 federal government appointees in all – who will profoundly shape the nation in which your children and grandchildren will live for a long, long time – whether for good or for ill.

Contrast Vice President Mike Pence with his vice-presidential rival Kamala Harris. Pence has proven, on the field of battle for the last four years, that he is indeed a true Christian in word, deed and manner – exactly the kind of Christian, with a spotless personal life, that one would suppose John Piper could support. However, Kamala Harris is precisely the opposite sort of person. Aside from being gratingly unlikable, condescending and shockingly dishonest, the far-left Harris has a long history – first as California’s attorney general and later as a U.S. senator – of open religious bigotry.

Anonymous said...

Since both Trump and Biden are in their 70s and could easily turn the presidency over to their vice presidents, what then? Would John Piper prefer Mike Pence to Kamala Harris?

If so, there is an opportunity for him to make that choice known at the ballot box on Nov. 3. And even more important, since he is an evangelical Christian figure with considerable influence, to make it known to his many listeners. Pastor, if you don’t want to see the viscerally anti-Christian Harris, whose policies are so extreme that the nonpartisan GovTrack.us found her to be the most leftwing member of the U.S. Senate – even more radical than socialist Bernie Sanders – then your other option is to vote for Donald Trump, even if he’s boastful and egotistical. Because Biden, who is obviously frail and rapidly failing both mentally and physically, would very likely turn the country over to Kamala Harris sometime during his first and only term as president.

Although many evangelical leaders openly support Trump and Pence, like mega-pastor John MacArthur who says, “Any real, true believer” will vote for Trump over Biden, John Piper is not alone, as there are other prominent Christians who refuse to support Trump because of his perceived character flaws.

But it actually gets worse than that.

Last week, a new coalition calling itself Pro-Life Evangelicals for Biden urged pro-life Christians across America to support the most radically pro-abortion presidential and vice presidential candidates and party platform in American history.

You see, argues the group, whose online petition has garnered thousands of signatures, "poverty kills millions every year. So does lack of healthcare and smoking. Racism kills. Unless we quickly make major changes, devastating climate change will kill tens of millions. Poverty, lack of accessible health care services, smoking, racism and climate change are all pro-life issues."

This largely liberal-left coalition – which includes Christianity Today’s former board chairman John Huffman and Billy Graham’s granddaughter Jerushah Dufore – claims "the most common reason women give for abortion is the financial difficulty of another child." Thus, they praise “a number of Democratic proposals that would significantly alleviate that financial burden: accessible health services for all citizens, affordable childcare, a minimum wage that lifts workers out of poverty" and so on.

According to this group’s thinking, even though Biden and Harris openly support de facto infanticide for any reason or no reason, the Democratic candidates’ “policies are more consistent with the biblically shaped ethic of life than those of Donald Trump."

How can any Christian think this way?

Friends, because of the urgency of the hour, let’s just dispense with comforting euphemisms and other reality-avoidance. Abortion – which Biden, Harris and the 2020 Democratic Party Platform unreservedly endorse in all circumstances and demand that you and I as taxpayers pay for – amounts to executing babies right up to the actual moment of birth and sometimes beyond. That’s the dictionary definition of “infanticide.”

Anonymous said...

As pro-life group Live Action’s founder Lila Rose has publicized, the testimony of many abortion-clinic workers as well as abortionists themselves reveals the fate of thousands of late-term abortions, including viable human babies “mistakenly” born alive after attempted abortions. Methods of execution at that point – again, we are talking about living, breathing, already born, viable babies – range from “putting a baby who survives an abortion into a jar with toxic solution to drown,” said Rose, to cutting off oxygen and effectively strangling the child, and even to gruesome methods such has twisting off their heads. One abortionist boasted to Live Action investigators of having performed “‘20-some thousand’ abortions after 24 weeks, and nonchalantly detailed his chilling procedure for administering a fatal injection to the baby in the womb (to make the child ‘mushy’ and easier to remove) and extracting body parts in pieces.”

That – every bit of it – is what “Pro-Life Evangelicals for Biden” are actually supporting and facilitating, whether they realize it or not, and whether they like it or not.

That is also what Christian voters who refuse to vote for either candidate “out of principle” are supporting, whether they realize it or not, and whether they like it or not.

It’s simple math: The only vote that effectively opposes and works against America’s great national sin – the abomination of violently snuffing the life out of the next generation at the rate of about 1 million per year – is to support the reelection of Donald Trump and Mike Pence.

Trump is not a perfect person.

Neither am I and neither are you.

Get over it.

Friends, we are blessed to be citizens of the greatest nation on earth. Our forefathers came here at tremendous risk to life and limb to establish a free Christian nation and many died in the process. I’m not asking you to risk your life – just to vote. And you need to vote for the presidential and vice presidential candidates who will champion life and not death; freedom and not socialist totalitarianism; traditional values and not progressive-left “there-are-100-different-genders” sexual anarchy; freedom of speech and religion, not censorship and “cancel culture”; Rev. Martin Luther King’s vision of a color-blind society and not Black Lives Matter’s vision of revenge, destruction and revolution.

Life is full of tough decisions. Voting in 2020 is not one of them.

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” – Proverbs 29:2

“Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the LORD? Therefore the wrath of the LORD is upon you.” – 2 Chronicles 19:2

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.” – Deuteronomy 30:19

Justice Dept. Blocked in Bid to Shield Trump From Rape Defamation Suit
The Justice Department tried to intervene to represent President Trump against the lawsuit by the writer E. Jean Carroll, who claims he lied when he denied raping her.

A federal judge ruled on Tuesday that President Trump can be personally sued for defamation in connection with his denial while in office of a decades-old rape allegation.

The judge, Lewis A. Kaplan of Federal District Court in Manhattan, rejected the Justice Department’s attempt to step into the case and defend the president. His ruling means that, for the moment, a lawsuit by the writer E. Jean Carroll can move forward against Mr. Trump, in his capacity as a private citizen.

Ms. Carroll has accused Mr. Trump of raping her in a department store dressing room in the 1990s. Her lawsuit claims he harmed her reputation when he denied the attack last year and branded her a liar.

Last month, the Justice Department abruptly intervened on Mr. Trump’s behalf in the suit, which had been filed in state court in New York, citing a law designed to protect federal employees against litigation stemming from the performance of their duties.

Republican Senator Ted Cruz has said he does not believe attacks on Joe Biden's son, Hunter, will bear fruit at the ballot box.

"I don't think it moves a single voter," he told Axios.

The senator, who was reviewing last Thursday's presidential debate, added that "one of [Joe] Biden's best points was when he said, 'All of these attacks back and forth about my family and his family, they don't matter. What matters is your family.'"

What are Trump's claims?

Trump has repeatedly accused Joe Biden of wrongdoing in regards to Ukraine and China while he was vice-president, which he denies.

The issue resurfaced last week following a New York Post article about an alleged email, in which an adviser from a Ukrainian energy company, Burisma, apparently thanked Biden's son, Hunter, for inviting him to meet his father.

Asked about the allegations, Joe Biden told a reporter it was a "smear campaign". No criminal activity has been proven, and no evidence has emerged that Biden did anything to intentionally benefit his son.

Claims of influence-peddling are common in Washington DC and MR TRUMP'S CHILDREN HAVE ALSO BEEN ACCUSED OF CONFLICTS OF INTEREST IN LUCRATIVE BUSINESS DEALS OVERSEAS. They, too, deny wrongdoing.

I think William Graham is getting accused and now denying that he was the “well known NC pastor” that peed on Alicia Beverly on a delta flight to Detroit a couple weeks ago because it leaked that William Graham was arrested in Detroit somehow and people are not aware that it’s also Franklin Graham’s first name.

William Franklin Graham is probably the assailant. He’s just about he only prominent NC pastor whose whereabouts oct 11-12 are unknown and powerful enough to keep it this quiet for this long.

I believe one of the greatest consequences of this election might actually be the type of candidates and campaigns we get forever hereafter. If Trump continues being successful pretending to be an authoritative degrading macho alpha type buffoon And it works...we will see this type of campaign copied throughout the US by “Outsider” candidates just as naive and inexperienced as Trump. Jimmy Carter was an outsider but at least he was a Christian, not a liar and had some governmental experience. He likely would have won re-election too if the Reagan campaign hadn’t colluded with terrorists in Iran to hold the hostages until Inauguration Day, actions they needed a 1992 Bush presidential pardon for to avoid prosecution (before they flipped and exposed Bush’s involvement).

Trump Derangement Syndrome: Diagnosis and Treatment

By Gary Gindler, Ph.D.
American Thinker

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is a social mental illness that manifests itself in the refusal to accept the results of the 2016 elections. This ailment belongs to the category of political psychosis. Unlike most other mental disorders, TDS is a contagious disease that can cause epidemics and even pandemics.

This syndrome is caused by the new neuropathologic coronavirus Bacillus Anti-Trumpicus (2016-nCoV). The virus, entering the human brain, selectively eats only those neurons responsible for a coherent political worldview. Theoretically, the disease is incurable, although some countries have announced successful attempts to combat the epidemic and control the spread of infection.

One of the best known symptoms of TDS is the complete lack of logic in patients' behavior. For example, those afflicted with this disease claim that "President Trump is a lifelong dictator and fascist. Therefore, in the 2020 elections, we must choose a different, democratic president." For those who still do not see a logical contradiction in this phrase, we can say with confidence that your prognosis is unfavorable.

For those who see it, this expression serves as a kind of warning: "Beware — a sick person is before you. You should not argue with him. You should not discuss any serious problems with this individual; do not debate or argue with a schizophrenic. This person needs neuropsychiatric help, not fruitless discussions."

The coronavirus Bacillus Anti-Trumpicus belongs to a well studied class of pathogens known as the Hidden Dogma of Collectivism (Occultatum Fascismo Decretum).

In the same way that Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) had spread for many years among people belonging to well defined social groups, Occultatum Fascismo Decretum viruses have spread for many decades among certain ideological structures, such as the Democrat Party.

Since the late 1960s, this party has become the party of the left, a socialist, Marxist party of the Leninist type. The Democrats carefully concealed this from their electorate. On television, they preferred to show moderate rather than radical socialists, such as Bill Clinton. That was the period when the virus was in a latent state. Only a small group of specialists could make a correct diagnosis at such an early stage of the disease.

But the arrival of Barack Obama in the White House marked the transition of Occultatum Fascismo Decretum viruses from latent to the semi-active stage. On the television screen, Obama almost always positioned himself as a moderate centrist with a charming smile, but all his actions were the actions of a vicious radical socialist, radical leftist, radical "fighter against American imperialism."

Anonymous said...

The recent outbreak of TDS represents a metastatic disease that originated in 2016. By 2020, for a certain number of American citizens, it has reached vital organs. In particular, the 2016 elections forced the Democrats to peel off the mask of semi-hidden socialists, revealing the inner pathology. The 2016 election forced Democrats to oppose America with an open socialist visor.

Why? Because proponents of leftist ideology have come to the (pretty reasonable) conclusion that the beginning of the Trump era means the end of the socialist era. They realized that it was time to go all in. Otherwise, the idea of turning 50 American states into 50 Soviet socialist republics would fail.

So they went all-in...Putin, Russia, Mueller, strippers, Ukraine, impeachment. From the outside, all this looked silly, but what else could be expected from a host in which the number of coronaviruses far exceeds the number of healthy cells? The Democrat vote in Congress over the impeachment of President Trump confirms this. The voting results settle the assumption that there are no uninfected individuals left in the Democrat population. Moreover, for many leftists, the disease entered into the last disseminated and incurable fourth stage.

Viruses Occultatum Fascismo Decretum, as a rule, cause a limited number of symptoms, which facilitates a correct diagnosis. For example, infected patients always refuse to believe they are sick. They blame everyone who does not agree with them, referring to them as fascists, projecting onto conservative political opponents their own inner fascist pathology. Organisms infected with the virus often break into militant gangs, which, as expected, and in Orwellian fashion, call themselves anti-fascists (Antifa).

The incubation period of Bacillus Anti-Trumpicus is unknown. However, according to experts, it is the shortest among the entire class of Occultatum Fascismo Decretum viruses. The incubation period depends on many factors, including hereditary ones. For example, if Karl Marx's books were on the bookshelves of the patient's parents or the Frankfurt School of Socialism was discussed at the dinner table instead of the kid's school affairs, then the incubation period is practically absent. It is the case of the father of a former Democratic Presidential candidate frontrunner, Joseph Buttigieg, who was a Marxist professor.

A recent discovery by American researchers gives hope that the correct approach to the Bacillus Anti-Trumpicus problem will be found eventually. It turned out that...cases of complete massive cures were...observed in patients who took advantage of popular home remedies. For example, some patients simply stopped watching propaganda television programs that disguised themselves as news media.

Bacillus Anti-Trumpicus is known to prefer an unsanitary, anti-American, and anti-Semitic habitat, which is often created by the heirs of Marxism, known as globalists.

Globalism is a pandemic caused by Occultatum Fascismo Decretum viruses.

Humanity still does not know much about this phenomenon, but experts believe that the globalism pandemic, although caused by a virus, carries mainly the characteristics of a social disease. Therefore, symptomatic treatment will not lead to success — it is necessary to eradicate the source of infection. Unfortunately, as of now, the exact recipe for a complete cure is not entirely clear, although the actions of the current administration to start the massive de-Vindmanization process are impressive.

However, the main hope is inspired by the exciting pattern confirmed by scientists: the coronavirus Bacillus Anti-Trumpicus does not survive in a pro-American environment.

From Malcolm X The White Liberal is the Worst Enemy to America:

“The white liberal is the worst enemy to America, and the worst enemy to the black man. Let me explain what I mean by the white liberal. In America there is no such thing as Democrat or Republican anymore. In America you have liberals and conservatives. The only people living in the past who think in terms of I’m a Democrat or Republican, is the American Negro. He’s the one that runs around bragging about party affiliation. He’s the one that sticks to the Democrat or sticks to the Republican. But white people are divided into two groups, liberals and conservative. The Democrats who are conservative, vote with the Republicans who are conservative. The Democrats who are liberal vote with the Republicans that are liberal. The white liberal aren’t white people who are for independence, who are moral and ethical in their thinking. They are just a faction of white people that are jockeying for power. The same as the white conservative is a faction of white people that are jockeying for power. They are fighting each other for power and prestige, and the one that is the football in the game is the Negro, 20 million black people. A political football, a political pawn, an economic football, and economic pawn. A social football, a social pawn. The liberal elements of whites are those who have perfected the art of selling themselves to the Negro as a friend of the Negro. Getting sympathy of the Negro, getting the allegiance of the Negro, and getting the mind of the Negro. Then the Negro sides with the white liberal, and the white liberal use the Negro against the white conservative. So that anything that the Negro does is never for his own good, never for his own advancement, never for his own progress, he’s only a pawn in the hands of the white liberal...."

Things have changed a bit since he wrote those words. We might change "liberal" to "progressive", perhaps. Or include both camps as "liberal". And, in some sense he's correct in his criticism of conservatives.

Trump is neither Republican nor Democrat; he's not a politician, per se. And I wouldn't call him conservative either. It depends on the subject.

In any case, using Malcolm X's terminology, I'll go one further. The White liberal woman is the worst. Someone like Chelsea Handler, e.g.

Matthew 25

King James Version

25 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.

17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.

18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine...

...

26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Craig, the genetic fallacy is one which has been perpetuated by the racist right, not the left. The mere fact that people whose origins are visibly other than European may have different tones of skin color, eye, nose or mouth shapes, etc., are treated therefore as a different species is absolutely absurd, unscientific and historically used so as to suppress and control them in an unequal and ungodly way. There is no valid justification for the arbitrarily and fallaciously devised notion of different races, for scientifically we are all homo sapien sapiens. It is, however, a sad fact that such evil history has happened, where people were treated as subhuman just because of the tone of their skin. The consequences of this are still felt by those oppressed peoples, the oppression continues. Trump and your ilk, Craig, are reinforcing such oppression and stoking tensions between communities, leading to suffering, and you will answer to God for it.

Tulsa race massacre of 1921, also called Tulsa race riot of 1921, one of the most severe incidents of racial violence in U.S. history. It occurred in Tulsa, Oklahoma, beginning on May 31, 1921, and lasting for two days. The massacre left somewhere between 30 and 300 people dead, mostly African Americans, and destroyed Tulsa’s prosperous Black neighbourhood of Greenwood, known as the “Black Wall Street.” More than 1,400 homes and businesses were burned, and nearly 10,000 people were left homeless. Despite its severity and destructiveness, the Tulsa race massacre was barely mentioned in history books until the late 1990s, when a state commission was formed to document the incident.

On May 30, 1921, Dick Rowland, a young African American shoe shiner, was accused of assaulting a white elevator operator named Sarah Page in the elevator of a building in downtown Tulsa. The next day, the Tulsa Tribune printed a story saying that Rowland had tried to rape Page, with an accompanying editorial stating that a lynching was planned for that night. That evening mobs of both African Americans and whites descended on the courthouse where Rowland was being held. When a confrontation between an armed African American man, there to protect Rowland, and a white protestor resulted in the death of the latter, the white mob was incensed, and the Tulsa massacre was thus ignited.

Over the next two days, mobs of white people looted and set fire to African American businesses and homes throughout the city. Many of the mob members were recently returned World War I veterans trained in the use of firearms and are said to have shot African Americans on sight. Some survivors even claimed that people in airplanes dropped incendiary bombs.

When the massacre ended on June 1, the official death toll was recorded at 10 whites and 26 African Americans, though many experts now believe at least 300 people were killed. Shortly after the massacre there was a brief official inquiry, but documents related to the massacre disappeared soon afterward. The event never received widespread attention and was long noticeably absent from the history books used to teach Oklahoma schoolchildren.

In 1997 a Tulsa Race Riot Commission was formed by the state of Oklahoma to investigate the massacre and formally document the incident. Members of the commission gathered accounts of survivors who were still alive, documents from individuals who witnessed the massacre but had since died, and other historical evidence. Scholars used the accounts of witnesses and ground-piercing radar to locate a potential mass grave just outside Tulsa’s Oaklawn Cemetery, suggesting the death toll may be much higher than the original records indicate. In its preliminary recommendations, the commission suggested that the state of Oklahoma pay $33 million in restitution, some of it to the 121 surviving victims who had been located. However, no legislative action was ever taken on the recommendation, and the commission had no power to force legislation. In April 2002 a private religious charity, the Tulsa Metropolitan Ministry, paid a total of $28,000 to the survivors, a little more than $200 each, using funds raised from private donations.

You can try and change and denigrate the meaning of words as much as you like, cliched 2:09 PM, it doesn't mean you are right. A Liberal is center politics, not left wing. It is you who have moved into the territory of the Far Right, not the Liberals who have moved so far left as to no longer merit claiming to occupy the center ground of politics. Perhaps you're one of those people who believe conspiracy is synonymous with fantasy?

Now, rejecting your slurs, falsely attributing connotations to words, to fight for social justice is an admirable thing and is certainly what Jesus Christ and Christianity is about.

It is sad you are so blind, wretched and wicked you cannot see that.

The point was that the very term you speak of: "Social Justice" SHOULD be being done by people who describe themselves as being engaged in such AND who are truly doing "an admirable thing". The problem is the ones being referenced are representative of people who falsely FLATTER themselves that they are such, i.e, noble knights nobly engaged on a noble mission.

They ain't.

Hence the well-deserved mocking of such "'Social Justice' Warriors".

craig said: "The selective outrage of the Left knows no bounds. And, they quite often fall into logical fallacies, most especially the genetic fallacy"

Yet the lies and made-up conspiracy theories on the right know no bounds & they quite often fall into more extreme logical fallacies, most especially the genetic fallacy.

Last week Craig said: "Assumptions, like assertions, are not necessarily facts. Just because a lawsuit is filed, doesn't mean it has merit. Don't you get that Trump was not supposed to have been elected in the first place, and that the powers-that-be--which includes much of the corrupted media and parts of our 'judicial' system--have been trying to smear Trump and his administration with anything they can?"

So instead of discussing the arguments & facts FOUND by a Bush-appointed District Court Judge you just cast them aside as assumptions and baseless assertions using your own genetic fallacy that "much of the corrupted media" reporting such AND parts of the 'judicial' system are collaborating to smear Trump & his administration therefore, Orange Man good.

Sometimes sources matter. You probably don't take marital advice from divorced persons. Likewise, while real journalists can have bias, we know they were trained to check their bias, try to tell the whole story, back up their assertions with sources & get quotes allowing the target of their story to defend themselves. Places like Natural News & Epoch Times are not totally real journalistic news sources. Neither are open source 'journalism' sites like beforeitsnews. Fox News was so biased that they even defending themselves in court to being an entertainment channel and not a news source. Sometimes the lack of credibility comes down to the individual journalists themselves. The fact that at the NY Post (lean-right - allsides) all the real experienced journalists wouldn't allow their names on the Hunter Biden story by-line is a clue suggesting the story is unreliable.

Here's a 5-step guide to spot fake news I found.

Step One: Does this story appeal at an emotional level? If a story screams about hot button issues, the story may not have a primary goal of conveying facts. Its goal may be to manipulate you to like it, share it or engage with it.

Step Two: Does this post contain dates and times and actual names: facts you can check? Double-check any actual names, dates and places to see if it's real while being cognizant that lies spread 75% faster on the internet than truth.

Step Three: Is it completely obvious who has been cast in the role of the villain? In the article say about NBC having done something sinister because they are the sinister deep state mainstream media. If it were a real news article, it would include a quote from NBC sharing their point of view or at least some articulation on the other side of the story. But if it doesn’t and it's simply NBC is our enemy and we must tar and feather and distrust this evil malefactor it may not be reliable.

Step Four: Take a step back and think about it. It doesn't make sense that all that mainstream media is entirely corrupt. They must answer to their audience and stockholders so why would leadership at these companies tell employees to do that? Not that bias can't shine through. Journalists are each unique and skewed but such diversity may actually be more helpful.

Step Five: What is the source of this information? Yes...the source matters when trying to exercise discernment about whether something read or reported is probably true or likely fake news.

This website has an interactive chart evaluating media bias: https://www.adfontesmedia.com/

Look where the often quoted here Natural News and BeforeitsNews ended up. Such ratings imply that questioning the source of these organizations is justified as a warning that what they report is probably, but not always and/or not entirely, fake news. x

You're doing the same thing by merely asserting there is something inherently wrong with MSM without any substantive argument or evidence other than orange man says it's bad.

I, at least, quantify it with a little evidence of the bias...like the partisanship and affiliations of the founder, L. Brent Bozell, III. I could likely dance through the board of directors too and demonstrate these are not journalists but a conservative group of non-Christian liars willing to lie about anything in order to support their candidate on the hope a 2nd term orange man will honor any agreements with anyone once reelection is off the table.

The NY Times editorial board HAS endorsed Biden, but they are a fact-based journalistic organization with integrity and history to back it up. I expect them to be slightly biased towards Biden, that's their viewpoint, especially after reading their scathing endorsement piece: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/10/16/opinion/donald-trump-worst-president.html

But...I also expect them to offer professional journalistic reporting and opinions and facts from both sides of the aisle politically. I used to feel the same way about the WSJ even after the Murdoch acquisition in 2007, but 2016 they became partisan and somewhat unreliable publishing Trump lies without apology. Still a fact-based newspaper mostly that Murdoch has pushed right.

In 1998, Biden messed up during his campaign for president and admitted his mistakes despite it not being a total fabrication. . It’s really not that shocking considering all the lying being done by Trump administration in just the last 4 years. Going back to 1988 to “get” Biden on lying is actually saying he is a pretty stand up guy. We’re all human and prone to sin and no one is good except God.

Further, At the same time, throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s Donald Trump was hanging out with and utilizing Jeffrey Epstein as his wingman. Trump now denies their relationship and does not admit any mistakes despite a long documented Personal history with the most notorious sexual predator of the last 40 years or so who mysteriously died on Trumps watch in Federal custody by Barr and Trumps justice dept. I can only imagine how genuinely unelectable Trump would be today if he, like Niden, had a camera following him and Jeffrey Epstein around back then.

Told u natural news fabricates stories. The audio does NOT say Hunter Biden was in a deal with spy chief, rather his billionaire business partner has founded a company previously with that spy chief and was now missing. It may or may not be the same case in NY that he’s speaking about when he said “ and my father” but it appears both Hunter and Joe Biden were merely named as witnesses. Doesn’t mean Joe knew anything about it. Lots of people get named as witnesses in legal cases. Prosecuting attorneys list anyone and everyone remotely associated with the matter just in case it matters or they can lean on someone or make witnesses believe others said different things. Despite these crazy things Hunter did while on drugs and committing adultery I’d still believe Hunter Biden would make a better President now that he is clean than Trump,

There is ‘rank dishonesty’ about Hydroxychloroquine: Alan Jones

Sky News Australia

Sky News host Alan Jones says there is “rank dishonesty” about Hydroxychloroquine, a medicine which Australians are being denied access to despite it being a recommended lifesaving treatment for COVID-19.

“You have to ask whether there is an agenda here,” Mr Jones said.

Mr Jones pointed out the medical treatment had been recommended as a lifesaving treatment in a peer-reviewed paper published in The American Journal of Medicine, authored by 24 doctors including five PhD’s.

“Australians are being denied access to a medicine and denied access to a medical treatment which is recommended as a lifesaving treatment,” Mr Jones said.

Mr Jones spoke with Liberal MP Craig Kelly, who has been pushing for the medicine in parliament.

“This is not whether I think this drug is useful or not, it’s what the peer-reviewed science says,” Mr Kelly said.

“You’ve got medical experts from all around the world running studies and trials that show unambiguously that the effects of Hydroxychloroquine – when taken early and with zinc – reduces deaths by up to 63 per cent.

“We’ve got a medical treatment being denied to Australians and yet that medical treatment is published in peer-reviewed literature.

“I’m going to keep up the pressure.”

13 Year-Old ‘Gender-Creative’ Boy Declares: ‘Gender Is Over’

From the article linked below:

"PinkNews tweeted Tuesday a video of CJ Duron, a 13-year-old California boy who claims to be “gender-creative,” and states, “Gender is over.”

"Duron describes himself as having a “gender identity” that is male, but a “gender expression” that is female."

“To me, gender is over,” Duron says in the video, shrugging. “We don’t really need it. It’s kind of unnecessary.”

At age 11, Duron served as grand marshal of the Orange County LGBTQ Pride parade, an experience he describes as “magical” and “powerful.”

Duran went on to say ...

“Kids shouldn’t be forced to be something or someone who they aren’t,” he said. “When people call me a girl or misgender me I don’t really care. To me, gender is over. Gender is so last year.”

Joe Biden's INSANE stated policy on all of this:

“The idea that an eight-year-old child, a ten-year-old child, decides, you know, ‘I want to be transgender. That’s what I think I’d like to be. It’d make my life a lot easier’ — there should be zero discrimination,” Biden said to a woman who identified herself as the mother of an eight-year-old “transgender daughter.”

NOTE: Voter FRAUD negates the honest votes that are cast by registered American CITIZENS. Also, without PROOF as to the IDENTITY of the voter, voter FRAUD becomes rampant. Democrats want to take Governmental power away from the PEOPLE and give it to their Corruptacracy, with the thoroughly corrupt team of Joe Biden & Kamala Harris serving as managers for the evil syndicate.

In contrast, Trump is doing everything in his power to return America to where we need to be if we are to survive as a free nation:

"Government of the PEOPLE, by the PEOPLE and for the PEOPLE." (They have always hated Trump because he is an outsider and, he is not corrupt_.

Think about this; for 3 1/2+ YEARS, after intense, multiple investigations, the ONLY thing that the Deep State could find on Donald Trump was his (completely innocent) "phone call" with the leader of Ukraine ! THAT IS IT and NOTHING MORE.

Yet, the complicit, corrupt Media turns a collective blind eye to the easily provable corruption of the Biden Crime Family.

I very much hope that Trump wins the election, but, no matter who wins, the deep state will continue their push for 'change' on climate, gender, race, freedom of speech etc. Things will wax worse and worse.

We have to ask ourselves as believers, do we deserve good, and honest leaders? The whole world, including the 'church', has gone whoring after Babylon. We are self serving, lazy, unholy, pleasure seeking people! The leaders we have, are the ones we deserve. We have sacrificed truth, and righteousness for so called freedom, and comfort.

For all believers who are deeply troubled that the deep state operates with impunity. Who are deeply affected by a world that alignes itself with, and exalts lying liars, murdering murderers, and celebrates perversion, our only hope for righteousness judgement is the return of our Savior.

The best thing we can do right now is to pray, and prepare ourselves, and family for the things that are yet to come.

https://julieroys.com/pastor-urinating-flight-chalmers/

According to the report, an off-duty police officer on the Delta flight saw Chalmers get up from his seat around 2:44 a.m. and walk towards the tail of the aircraft. In the report, the officer states that Chalmers “appeared to be awake but yet walking as if he had just woke up or was dealing with the pitch of the aircraft as he side stepped momentarily.”

About 30 seconds later, the officer says a woman behind him “let out a blood curdling scream.” The officer said he then observed Chalmers standing next to the victim, Alicia Beverly.

In the report, Beverly states that she woke up feeling “something warm on her body.” When she looked up, she saw Chalmers standing next to her with his privates exposed. Beverly said Chalmers had urinated on her.

...

However, the officer reports that Chalmers “smelled of alcohol and his eyes were bloodshot.” (A preliminary breath test, or “PBT,” found that Chalmers had a breath alcohol content of .175—more than twice the legal limit in Michigan of .08.) The officer also says that Chalmers told him that he was on medication.
...

When the plane landed, Chalmers was reportedly taken into custody. According to the officer, as Chalmers passed by the flight crew “he advised the Captain of his intentions to sue Delta Airlines for defamation of character for their treatment of him.”

On Pope Francis's statement about civil unions from a former Catholic:

https://energiondirect.com/product/crossing-the-street-direct/

The rift between Protestants and Roman Catholics continues to separate Christians from one another and to diminish our witness in the world.

Words such as “heretic,” “apostate,” “idolater,” and “papist” have characterized much of the discussion over the last several centuries since the reformation. While changes in both groups over the last few decades have improved the tone of the discussion, much remains to be accomplished.

Author Bob LaRochelle, as a former Roman Catholic and now a United Church of Christ minister, is well-equipped to guide us toward a more constructive relationship. Crossing the Street speaks to the heart of the Energion Publications mission statement by advocating a “mainstream ecumenical center” in which Roman Catholics and Protestants can come to a deeper appreciation and understanding of the gifts they bring to one another. It demonstrates ways in which these traditions have misunderstood one another and even themselves, and then proposes strategies for both ecumenical cooperation and self-understanding.

This book is founded in a thorough understanding of both traditions and a commitment to ecumenical dialog and cooperation. It addresses both theory and practice. In a series of four chapters, it examines how we live in our own houses, the author’s own story, and then the gifts that each group offers the other.

Bob LaRochelle reflects on the statement by Pope Francis, that civil unions should be allowed for homosexual couples.

part 2

https://pastorbobl.wordpress.com/2020/10/22/exploring-the-message-of-pope-francis/

Exploring the message of Pope Francis

In what struck many people as a shocking development, Pope Francis, Bishop of Rome and leader of the Roman Catholic Church, made a clear, direct statement in an interview he gave for a new documentary in support of allowing civil unions for homosexual couples. What surprised many people about this is that the Roman Catholic Church has had a long standing opposition to affirming the relationships of same sex couples. This statement by Pope Francis was heralded by many Catholics who have long advocated for changes in policy on this issue. It was praised as well by many leaders of other churches. On the other hand, the Pope’s statement came under attack from a good number of his own bishops, with critical statements emanating from individuals such as the Bishop of Providence, Rhode Island and the press office of the Archdiocese of New York.

Those of you who have read my book Crossing the Street, in which I explore my own personal move from my Catholic upbringing and eventual ordination into ministry in the Roman Catholic Church, are aware of my disagreements with the church in which I was raised on various matters of both practice and , in some areas, doctrine. You may also be aware of the fact that I hold my Catholic upbringing in high regard and, while finding myself in theological disagreement on some issues, am profoundly grateful for my years of Catholic education, including having had the opportunity to be taught and inspired by the Jesuits at both Holy Cross, my undergraduate alma mater, and Boston College, where I received a Master’s degree.

In the ideal world, I would prefer that the Catholic Church would practice the kind of full acceptance and inclusion that exists within the denomination in which I serve ( the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) as well as within many mainline Christian churches. Having said that, however, I applaud Pope Francis, who happens to be a member of the Society of Jesus ( Jesuits), for his great sense of profound love and care toward ALL people, including those who have felt so excluded within the church community both they and this inspirational Pope call their own!

Quite frankly, I am disgusted by the outpouring of criticisms from some corners of Catholic leadership. Ironically, many church leaders who have long espoused the practice of fidelity to the ‘authoritative teaching’ of the Pope, have found it quite easy to criticize the Pope not only in this case, but also whenever he steps out and challenges certain long standing practices within the church.

Anonymous said...

part 3

When I was raised as a Catholic, I was taught to respect the leadership of the Pope and to heed his decisions on a wide variety of ‘ matters of faith and morals’, a well known Catholic phrase applicable to the ministry of the successor of Peter. I am astounded by how so many ‘traditionalist Catholics’, including many of the church’s bishops and pastors, feel so comfortable in attacking positions articulated by Pope Francis that challenge their comfortable view of Catholicism and that urge the church to, in Pope John XXIII’s words , ‘read the signs of the times’ and apply the principles of the Gospel to the emerging issues that confront both the church and the broader world.

To be clear, while I, born and raised Catholic (and now a former Catholic), would prefer that the church of my youth ( and much of my adulthood) would support married priests, women priests and the right of same sex couples to marry in services affirmed by the church, I, at the same time, think that, in his own unique, pastoral way, shaped by his years of experience and, speculatively speaking here, perhaps by his time of being trapped in the Vatican, this very special man, Jorge Bergolio, who goes by the name Francis, Bishop of Rome and head of the Roman Catholic Church, has done a wonderful thing and he, who has earned the respect and the plaudits of many outside of the Catholic Church, deserves the respect AND the gratitude of those within it.

Pastor, Grace Lutheran Church, ELCA

Turns out Trump himself is the one committing voter fraud.

Mar-A-Largo was converted into a private club several years ago for tax purposes and it was stipulated that no one was allowed to “live” or stay there more than 21 nights a year. Further it’s illegal to register to vote & vote in PBC, FL using a business address.

It’s just a mess and, when he loses could very well result in charges against him as it has others.

As far as Omaha...Trumps campaign hired only 40 shuttles & brought @5000 people out 3 miles over a wide open tarmac from their cars over Several HOURS during daylight and failed to consider their safety when all needed 2 get back at the same time, in the cold and dark when the superspreader event ended about 9 pm. The shuttles were hired by the campaign, not Omaha. Omaha eventually called in some metro buses at the urgent requests of the police (not the campaign). The last attendees weren’t transported out until about 12:30 that night 3.5 hours after Trump flew away in his warm plane. It was a negligent. If it was an isolated mistake he’d get a pass but this is more like the 200,000th “mistake”. He and his team are not fit to lead.

The "peaceful protestors" went on a rampage doing their usual "thing" which includes rampant vandalism and looting of innocent businesses. * All of this because a career criminal with a history of violence attacked police officers with a knife. This same scenario continues to play out; criminal Black scuffles with a police officer and ends up dead. The Police are always blamed.

The message of BLM is loud and clear; criminal Blacks should be allowed to violently attack the Police. If Police officers die as a result, that's a good thing that should be celebrated.

Our nation is on the cusp of a violent revolution. This will intensify if it isn't put down with MORE than equal force. The organizers of these riots need to be brought to justice for inciting and organizing violence.

Just more proof of just how evil and inherently violent the Marxist BLM movement really is:

Pope Francis remarks were 'spliced together' out of context

https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/context-of-popes-civil-union-documentary-comment-reported-14270

_________________________________________________

October 25, 2020

From Catholic News Agency [associated with EWTN]:

While filmmaker Evgeny Afineevsky [of the controversial film “Francesco,” which quotes the Holy Father on same-sex unions] told CNA and other journalists that Pope Francis made comments calling for the passage of civil union laws directly to him, it later emerged that the comments were actually part of a 2019 interview of Pope Francis conducted by Mexican journalist Valentina Alazraki.

It was subsequently revealed that several sentences spoken by the Pope in the documentary were spliced together, out of context, from the 2019 interview, and journalists have since then asked questions about the precise nature of the pope’s remarks on civil unions. The civil union remark was not contained in the published version of Alazraki’s interview, and has not been available to the public. But America Magazine published Oct. 24 the apparent context of the pope’s remark on civil unions. [see below].

Well, who KNEW that the Trump campaign in Omaha would ONLY NEED 40 shuttles???

Just goes to show you just how MANY enthusiastic Trump supporters actually show up for each Trump rally (in every city & town across America), doesn't it?

Maybe Joe Biden's people would only need to hire just ONE Uber to transport BOTH people who show up to hear Joe speak? LOL

And maybe that Uber will have a working heater to keep BOTH of Joe's supporters nice and toasty warm.

Yep,

The Great American Novel, by Larry Norman

I was born and raised an orphan in a land that once was free
In a land that poured its love out on the moon;
And I grew up in the shadows of your silos filled with grain,
But you never helped to fill my empty spoon.

And when I was ten you murdered law with courtroom politics,
And you learned to make a lie sound just like truth;
But I know you better now and I don't fall for all your tricks,
And you've lost the one advantage of my youth.

You kill a black man at midnight just for talking to your daughter,
Then you make his wife your mistress and you leave her without water;
And the sheet you wear upon your face is the sheet your children sleep on,
At every meal you say a prayer; you don't believe but still you keep on.

And your money says in God we trust
But it's against the law to pray in school;
You say we beat the Russians to the moon
And I say you starved your children to do it

You are far across the ocean but the war is not your own
And while you're winning theirs, you're gonna lose the one at home;
Do you really think the only way to bring about the peace
Is to sacrifice your children and kill all your enemies?

The politicians all make speeches while the news men all take note
And they exaggerate the issues as they shove them down our throats;
Is it really up to them whether this country sinks or floats?
Well I wonder who would lead us if none of us would vote?

Well my phone is tapped and my lips are chapped from whispering through the fence
You know every move I make, or is that just coincidence?
Well you try to make my way of life a little less like jail
If I promise to make tapes and slides and send them through the mail

And your money says in God we trust
But it's against the law to pray in school;
You say we beat the Russians to the moon
And I say you starved your children to do it.

You say all men are equal, all men are brothers
Then why are the rich more equal than others?
Don't ask me for the answer, I've only got one:
That a man leaves his darkness when he follows the Son.

Larry Norman - Right Here In America

There are Christians in Russia, they meet underground
In China they're killed when they're found
And in Cuba the Christians live up in the hills
Because it's not safe in the towns.

And to think it might happen right here in America
I know you think it's not true
But it's happening to Christians right here in America
Wait 'til it happens to you.

The Christians in Berkeley are passing out Bibles
And food to the hungry
They're hoping to help out the people this way
But there are threats of the lives
Of their leaders and wives
They're not welcome to stay.

And to think it might happen right here in America
Maybe you think it's not true
If you it's not happening to Christians right here in America
Wait 'til it happens to you.

There's an underground church and it's following Jesus
And hoping to meet people's needs
But we don't have the time to build nice little churches
Besides we don't need to -
We're holding our church in the streets.

And we are passing out leaflets and underground pamphlets
From Buffalo to Monterey
And we're talkin' 'bout Jesus and all of a sudden
We're arrested and taken away.

So I ask you, America, where do you stand?
Your people are starving, they're beaten and they're raped
And they're dying in jail cells, so what are your plans?
I'm not talking to congress or you politicians
Or Panthers or Muslims or Nixon or Birch
I'm addressing this song to the church.

'Cause I've been in your churches and sat in your pews
And heard sermons on just how much money you'll need for the year
And I've heard you make reference to Mexicans, Chinamen
Niggers and Jews
And I gather you wish we would all disappear.

And you call yourselves Christians, when really you're not
You're living your life as you please
If you're really a Christina, then put down yourself
And follow wherever God leads.

I'm not talkin' religion, I'm talkin' 'bout Jesus
Put all your plans on the shelf
Let's stop marching for peace, and start marching for Jesus
And peace will take care of itself.

Well, I pray that we Christians will get off our sofas
And stand up for what we believe
The time is too short, and Christ is returning
We'd better get ready to leave.

We who are Christians should turn on the light
So the truth will shine bright as the day
Jesus will come like a thief in the night
And he'll steal all who love him away.

There are Christians in Russia, they meet underground
In China they're killed when they're found
And in Cuba the Christians live up in the hills
Because it's not safe in the towns.

And to think it might happen right here in America
I see you shaking your heads and I hear you saying
It just can't be true
But it's happened to me right here in America
Wait 'til it happens to you.

Time For Talk Has Passed, It’s Time For Congress To Take Away Big Tech’s Special Immunity

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) appeared on Wednesday night’s edition of the Fox News television program “Tucker Carlson Tonight” to discuss the rampant censorship of any information or free speech that does not align with the left-wing values of Silicon Valley tech monopolies such as Google, Facebook, and Twitter.

“We learned today that the tech companies are gonna keep doing this, they’re gonna keep censoring conservatives, they’re gonna keep putting their thumb on the scale for the Biden campaign as long as Congress lets them,” Hawley said in reference to Wednesday’s mostly symbolic congressional hearings on tech censorship.

John Calvin's Evil Unbiblical Influence on the Christian Faith

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeQ5bGQbHeo

"The epistle of James is an epistle of straw", Martin Luther.

In a paragraph from Martin Luther On the Jews and Their Lies he deplores Christendom's failure to expel them.[1] Moreover, he proposed "What shall we Christians do with this rejected and condemned people, the Jews":[1]

"First, to set fire to their synagogues or schools … This is to be done in honor of our Lord and of Christendom, so that God might see that we are Christians …"

"Second, I advise that their houses also be razed and destroyed."

"Third, I advise that all their prayer books and Talmudic writings, in which such idolatry, lies, cursing, and blasphemy are taught, be taken from them."

"Fourth, I advise that their rabbis be forbidden to teach henceforth on pain of loss of life and limb …"

"Fifth, I advise that safe-conduct on the highways be abolished completely for the Jews. For they have no business in the countryside …"

"Sixth, I advise that usury be prohibited to them, and that all cash and treasure of silver and gold be taken from them …"

"Seventh, I recommend putting a flail, an ax, a hoe, a spade, a distaff, or a spindle into the hands of young, strong Jews and Jewesses and letting them earn their bread in the sweat of their brow … But if we are afraid that they might harm us or our wives, children, servants, cattle, etc., … then let us emulate the common sense of other nations such as France, Spain, Bohemia, etc., … then eject them forever from the country …"

RayB - you don't have to report each instance of the roman catholic lies and attacks on you here. It's really not hard for us to differentiate your posts from hers. Just keep posting as you have for years. Annoying, I'm sure.

I think social media is in a pickle and their business models which actually make more money off older and more conservative content cause them to be more likely to NOT censor enough. The kids aren't using Facebook and really Twitter all that much anymore. It's older more conservative people and vastly more conservative content being shared on these platforms and lies are more viral than truths. I believe they only catch/stop enough conservative lies to maintain some credibility; but, they have to allow enough through to keep making money. The algorithms are designed to maximize profits and keep people engaged --- in 2016 that resulted in disaster. It takes real people at the controls to throttle that back even a bit which leads to more subjective content restrictions, mistakes and a different kind of trouble. It's obviously more complex than just trying to make them totally responsible for everything said on their platforms. They can't nor shouldn't be required to publish every lie and fabrication just because some lies and fabrications make it through.

There is clear EVIDENCE of Hunter Biden's criminal activity... and the fact that he was 'compromised' (due to his drug addiction vulnerability). The fact that 'the big guy' (his father, Joe Biden) stood to gain 10% of the profits (money) has now caused Presidential candidate Joe Biden to become 'compromised.' This should be BIG NEWS on ALL of the TV networks 24/7!!!

For the past 4 years, there has NEVER been ANY evidence of any 'Russian collusion' or interference from Russia in the 2016 presidential election... in favor of Trump. Everyone knows that it turned out to be a great big 'nothing burger.'

There lies the BIG DIFFERENCE between the two.

Of course, anyone who has done their homework would already KNOW this.

2. When you behave like a teenage girl....

*Please come out of the lies, deceit and heresies of the roman catholic church and you can be free of this hatred and jealousy. I understand your resistance to truth and want to hold on to tradition. It's difficult overcoming such "traditions" and realizing they are hollow and that neither Mary nor any of those saints are going to do anything for you. They are no substitute for the Holy Spirit who will bring you to scripture and have you read your bible and find Jesus therein within the true Gospel.

So a couple emails implying a possible 10% interest for Joe Biden in 2017 after he left office (which would have been perfectly legal for him to do just as Trump and many others do business in China) -- is PROOF he's compromised when the deal went bust anyway and neither Hunter let alone Joe made a dime. And...all this evidence is regarding Hunter...Joe's son with a drug, alcohol and ongoing adultery issues at the time who may have unilaterally been PRETENDING to potential business partners that he could provide influence in order to make himself money. Simply meeting business partners doesn't prove anything other than a handshake.

Whereas mountains of "evidence" was provided to implicate Trump in the Russian collusion and Ukraine blackmail operations within the Meuller Report alone and the only reason he wasn't impeached was because his senate Republican colleagues protected him. Being "acquitted" did not mean absolutely nothing happened. Impeachement isn't even a legal finding of fact. Double jeopardy has not attached. Many members of his campaign team went to jail for colluding and/or lying and there are criminal activities Mueller came upon that weren't within the scope of his investigation that will be coming out after the inauguration (or when Trump tries to pardon himself in December) that will likely result in criminal prosecutions of Trump by an incoming uncorrupted AG/justice department. Finally, Trump himself (not his kids who have their own compromising international and charitable entanglements) had an undisclosed secret bank account in China and spent evening upon evening with Jeffrey Epstein as his wingman in the 90's but no one cares anything about that being "compromising", do they?

This is why no one cares about the Hunter Biden story. The silent majority has heard enough of Trump/Guiliani's lies and just tuned them out. What might have mattered in by-gone elections just doesn't hold water any longer. Trump has zero credibility and were he to win...the next 4 years will just be so much worse for this country than having just a normal president.

X's Electoral Prediction - 335-203 Biden over Trump.

Real Life with Jack Hibbs

Dr. Wayne Grudem, professor of Theology and Biblical Studies, shares on a recent letter written by him to an Anti-Trump friend on how the Christian can vote Biblically in this election.

Short answer: It's policy over personality! But his finer points are worth consideration. I have Grudem's Systematic Theology (and Louis Berkhof's as well as Charles Hodge's 3-volume, plus Thomas Oden's). Grudem is a continuationist with regard to the spiritual gifts.

----

Michelle Malkin sounds off on Twitter's Jack Dorsey

But that's not all. Included in this segment is a 'tweet' (I really dislike this terminology and the platform itself) by Andy McCarthy:

“What a time to be in journalism: Between Bobulinski and the Biden corruption scandal, rioting in our cities [ED: Antifa a myth?], a new Supreme Court justice’s first full day, and peace breaking out in the Middle East, has there ever been so much to *not* cover!?!”

And why aren't corporate media--besides Fox News--reporting on anything pro-Trump? It's absolutely fine to criticize a sitting President, but it's inexcusable not to at least talk about the ME peace negotiations.

RayB,

I’m not familiar with every lawsuit being filed by the ACLU in every jurisdiction nor do I agree with every one of their “causes” (I think the ACLU might be the org suing school districts over bathrooms and pronouns for transgender students???), but the ACLU cases in Portland I just googled sound legit from their side of the story. They’ve already successfully sued on behalf of journalists and “observers” being attacked by Portland police and now they r suing on behalf of medics who were sometimes attacked with pepper spray and rubber bullets while attending to injured protestors.

https://www.aclu.org/press-releases/aclu-sues-feds-portland-police-attacking-medics-protests

Now I know that some police would argue that, at times, all the protestors seemed to be claiming to be medics or journalists to avoid being attacked or to provide themselves cover (much like Killer Kyle in Kenosha), but I presume they have some great video evidence to make their case(s). There could also be a picture or clip of a medic or two “looting” or “rioting” but that would certainly be an isolated circumstance. Overall the “medics” weren’t looting or rioting (though u shoot medics enough with rubber bullets, they just may get angry enough to riot too).

I also wanted to say, I watched videos of press conferences by Portland police that made me very empathetic to their situation too. I think u linked to some of them. There are some great Portland policemen. But there’s a lot of reasons Portland was a uniquely volatile flashpoint this year and much of it has to do with caustic relationship between a seeming over aggressive unprofessional Undisciplined police department and a largely white, uniquely liberal and angry public going back years. Doesn’t matter what protestors do, targeting journalists and medics is just not right. I understand also that the police are human and make mistakes too; however, Professional police have to show restraint. They will never get respect by being disrespectful & uncaring (no matter how hard the job, that I respect them for trying to do, happens to be).

At 2:26 AM,

I personally think Trump is a fascist as some other posters have already asserted one way or another, but communism is not the answer. All violence and oppression is not the answer, in fact, secular humanism manifesting in voting for either Biden or Trump is not the way either.

These are the End Times, and I believe Trump will win the US election by hook or by crook and continue his Antichrist agenda. He is already planning to further his covenant with many as soon as he gets back in the Whitehouse (who needs the electorate when you have the Supreme Ct in your pocket?), dismissing postal votes, etc.?

Supreme Court Won’t Extend Wisconsin’s Deadline for Mailed Ballots
In April, the court had assumed an extension was permissible, though it insisted that ballots be mailed and postmarked before Election Day.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/26/us/supreme-court-wisconsin-ballots.html

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court refused on Monday to revive a trial court ruling that would have extended Wisconsin’s deadline for receiving absentee ballots to six days after the election.

The vote was 5 to 3, with the court’s more conservative justices in the majority. As is typical, the court’s brief, unsigned order gave no reasons. But several justices filed concurring and dissenting opinions that spanned 35 pages and revealed a stark divide in their understanding of the role of the courts in protecting the right to vote during a pandemic.

The ruling was considered a victory for Republicans in a crucial swing state, which polls have shown Mr. Trump trailing in after winning by about 23,000 votes in 2016.

Then this:

The Wisconsin Supreme Court on Thursday declined to take up a request from clerks in two northeastern counties to allow them to fill in a ballot misprint on as many as 13,500 ballots, which could cause delays in reporting results on Election Day.

The Supreme Court, in a 4-3 ruling handed down by the court’s conservative-backed justices, denied the request from Outagamie and Calumet counties to take up the case on an emergency basis, meaning clerks in the affected jurisdictions will need to duplicate thousands of ballots with misprints or count all ballots, including nonproblematic ones, by hand.

The ruling comes as more than 260,000 absentee ballots remain unreturned just days away from Election Day.

Pray for Tucker Carlson and his family that God would keep them safe. This is no joke. Their lives are in danger. These people are vicious and will stop at nothing in order to advance their radical, pro-Marxist cause.

Carlson Slams Media for Ignoring Hunter Biden Story — ‘How Do You Maintain a Democratic System When Reality Itself Has Been Banned?’

NOTE: MANY of the Youtube channels that I have visited over the years have had their accounts terminated. In not ONE single instance did any of these people deserve to be banned. Youtube, along with the other Big Tech giants are in the process of eliminating any and all information that THEY have deemed to be in conflict with THEIR "standards," i.e. their POLITICAL bent.

The Internet was once the one secular entity that a person could find the truth regarding the social, economic and political spheres. I often wondered how long the Elites were going to allow access to information that was damaging to their cause; the establishment of a totalitarian One World Government. Wonder no more. The Masters of the Universe of Thought are moving to eliminate all TRUTH from the Internet by simply labeling it "conspiratorial" or "racist," "xenophobic," etc., etc.

WHACK JOB "BROTHER" JAMES KEY NUTCASE ALERT posted by:

NOTE: The Apostle Paul (who was ever busier than Paul?) supported himself by working as a tentmaker. Not so for "Brother" James Key. He's way too important to dirty his hands with honest work. He'd much rather feed off of the gullible for his support.

Fake and Fraud "Brother" James Key is nothing other than a religious huckster, as proven by his GoFundME account that HE started FOR HIMSELF ! Ever hear of anyone doing that? So far, he's collected $3,405 for his "ministry."

P. T. Barnum once said: "There is a sucker born every minute." Apparently, "Brother" Key has found a few.

WHACK JOB "BROTHER" JOHN CALVIN NUTCASE ALERT Part One.

It’s sad that many Calvinists that I’ve encounter have absolutely no idea who John Calvin was. They know him by name and as the person who founded the idea of Calvinism but they don’t actually know what kind of person he was.

I often wonder how someone who identify themselves as a Christian can tell me many stories about Jesus and what kind of person he was, but when someone identify themselves as a Calvinist and I ask them to tell me a little about John Calvin, the only thing they can give me is that he was the person who founded Calvinism. I mean wouldn’t it be baffling if someone told you they were Christians but couldn’t tell you one single thing about Jesus? If Calvinist followers today would pick up a book and do a little research on their spiritual leader they would know that they’re following the beliefs of a serial killer, mass murderer and a terrorist.

Before I get into details about how John Calvin was a serial killer, mass murderer and a terrorist, lets look at the definition of each:

1.Serial Killer: A person who murders three or more people with the murders taking place over more than a month between them.

2. Mass Murderer: A person who kills several or numerous victims in a single incident or A person, especially a political or military leader, who is responsible for the death of many individuals.

3. Terrorist: A person who employs terror or terrorism, especially as a political weapon or a radical who employs terror as a political weapon; usually organizes with other terrorists in small cells.

Now that we have these definitions lets take a look at the actions of John Calvin and how well he fits into these terms.

Laws and facts about Geneva Under Calvin’s Authority:

* Each household had to attend Sunday morning services. If there was preaching on weekdays, all had to attend also. (There were only a few exceptions, and Calvin preached three to four times a week.)

* If a person came to the service after the sermon had begun, he was warned. If he continued, he would have to pay a fine.

* Heresy was regarded as an insult to God and treason to the state and was punished by death.

* Witchcraft was a capital crime. In one year, 14 ALLEGED WITCHES WERE SENT TO THE STAKE on the charge that they persuaded Satan to afflict Geneva with the plague.

* Clergy were to abstain from hunting, gambling, feasting, commerce, secular amusements, and had to accept annual visitations and moral scrutiny by church superiors.

* Gambling, card-playing, frequenting taverns, dancing, indecent or irreligious songs, immodesty in dress were all prohibited.

* The allowable color and quantity of clothing and the number of dishes permissible at a meal were specified by law.

* A woman was JAILED FOR ARRANGING HER HAIR to an “immoral height.”

* Children were to be named after Old Testament characters. A rebellious father served four days in prison for insisting on naming his son Claude instead of Abraham.

WHACK JOB "BROTHER" JOHN CALVIN NUTCASE ALERT Part Two

* To speak disrespectfully of Calvin or the clergy was a crime. A first violation was punished by a reprimand. Further violations with fines. Persistent violations were met with imprisonment or banishment.

* Fornication was punished by exile or DROWNING.

* Adultery, blasphemy, and idolatry was PUNISHED WITH DEATH.

* In the year 1558-1559, there were 414 prosecutions for moral offenses.

* As everywhere in the 16th century, torture was often used to obtain confessions or evidence.

* Between 1542-1564, there were 76 banishments. The total population of Geneva then was 20,000.

* CALVIN’S OWN STEP-DAUGHTER AND SON-IN-LAW WERE AMONG THOSE CONDEMNED FOR ADULTERY AND EXECUTED.

* In Geneva, there was little distinction between religion and morality. The existing records of the Council for this period reveal a high percentage of illegitimate children, abandoned infants, forced marriages, and sentences of death. [1]

* In one case, A CHILD WAS BEHEADED FOR STRIKING HIS PARENTS. [2] (Following Old Testament Mosaic law, Calvin believed it was scriptural to execute rebellious children and those who commit adultery.) [2a]

* During a PERIOD OF 17 YEARS when Calvin was leading Geneva, there were 139 RECORDED executions in the city. [3]

*Burned a man (Michael Servetus) alive for disagreeing with his theology. [4]

I’m not a mathematician but I know 139 is a much bigger number than 3, and when it comes to the number of murders committed it’s enough to be labeled a serial killer and a mass murderer. The way these executions were carried out definitely made him a terrorist. In fact with these gruesome historical details I think it’s safe to say he was also a psychopath.

A few questions I leave with Calvinists believers:

If Jesus was someone who ruled with a sword or an iron hand, would you still follow him?
Do you think God approved of Calvin’s tactics on imposing his faith on others?
What is your idea of a good spiritual leader and do you think John Calvin was one?
I would like to conclude and point out that nowhere in this article you’ll see me use the term “Calvinist Christians” instead I use words like “Calvinist” or “Calvinist followers”, this is because I don’t think Calvinists are Christians, it pains to say something like this because I know there are decent people who are Calvinist, people that I consider friends and even brothers and sisters, but to me a Christian is someone who follows the teaching of Jesus and no one else. not Arminius, not Luther, not Calvin but Jesus only.

So there we have the matter of it. Calvinists are not Christians, even intellectually honest Protestant sites declare it, and yet a certain someone reeking with the stench of Calvinism, an ipso facto, non-Christian, dares to persecute the Church established by Jesus Christ in 33 Anno Domini.

I contend the original user of the nom de plume, "RayB", is nothing more than an invisible fart blowing in the winds of anonymity. He or she has provided nothing to show us who he or she is: full name, age, city and state, etc.

Therefore, such a nom de plume has no more value or claim as property above a post than anonymous does. I shall, therefore, continue whenever I choose to take such a misused handle and put some of the insult done via its earlier usage back to rights again.
