A PERFECT STORM?

Javier Solana, Ph.D.
This is from Haaretz.com, an Israeli news service.  Read it prayerfully and carefully:

Bernard Kouchner, M.D.
"The picture is clearing up. The Arab spring is an Arab disaster. In the coming years there will be no democracy in Egypt. The choice  in Egypt will be either chaos , Islamic dictatorship or military dictatorship. I n the coming years there will be no democracy in Syria. The choice in Syria will be either a bloodbath, an Alawite dictatorship or a Sunni dictatorship. In the coming years there will be no democracy in Jordan. The choice in Jordan will be either weakened Hashemites, the Muslim Brotherhood or Palestinians.  In the coming years there will be no democ racy in Libya. There the choice will be disintegration, disorder or renewed despotism. Perhaps in Tunis ia a real change for the better will occur.
But the bottom line of the Arab spring is that the lives of hundreds of millions of Arabs will be worse. More poverty, more crime, more fear in the streets.  More oppression of women, more persecution of minorities , more hatred of the West.
Monarchies like Saudi Arabia, which thwarted the Arab spring - are now emerging as responsible states . I n contrast, the republic s defeated by the Arab spring are turning one after the other into failed states. They are tainted with fanaticism, spreading misery and c reating unprecedented instability.
The picture is clearing up. The Palestinian September is an Israeli-Palestinian disaster. The Palestinian September was conceived by two European statesmen - Bernard Kouchner and Javier Solana. Those two naive men figured if they grant international sponsorship to Salam Fayyad's Palestinian-state plan, they would force Israel to make a final-status arrangement.But the Israelis did not cave in to the pressure. The Palestinians fell in love with the plan.
The train left the station. Now, when everyone understands the train is racing to the abyss, nobody can stop it. On September 20 the General Assembly debate will begin. At the beginning of October the assembly is likely to adopt a destructive resolution. Presumably Israel will take unilateral retaliation measures and the Palestinians will go the The Hague.

CRAIG,

Please read my article in the newsletter I just downloaded. Then, I want you to check out "crosses of light" on the internet as well as the occult symbol of a circle with a dot in the center and then look at the cover of Dave Hunt/William Law's book (he said God called upon him to finish that book for William Law), THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT. Norman Grubb wrote the foreword with plenty of praises to Jacob Boehme. Boehme was Madame Blavatsky's inspiration for Theosophy! Brian and Patricia Pickup did seminal research on William Law and his critical role in western occultism in the early 1990's. They wrote Dave Hunt a "Dear brother in the Lord" letter about William Law and were shocked to get back a vitriolic letter threatening them with a slander suit (a serious threat to Canadians where truth is not an absolute defense as it is in USA law) and further suggesting they had gotten it from me. I wish I could have taken the credit. I felt like a fool when I started then researching the role William Law played in the New Age Movement. It was, bluntly, a huge flag to New Agers that Dave Hunt was "cool" and I was not. It was too subtle for most Christians (including me, up till then) to catch. I broke with Dave Hunt over very substantial issues in October 1987 and never looked back. I kept my mouth shut for a very long time because of the confusion it might cause in the Christian community. I am unfortunately convinced that Dave's role was to confine me within certain perimeters for damage control reasons. You might want to carefully and prayerfully read the first two books published by Norman Grubb for Dave Hunt

1. CONFESSIONS OF A HERETIC
2. POWER IN THE SPIRIT.

Dave still sells POWER OF THE SPIRIT. The book is bluntly an attack on Bible believing, confessing Christians to be substituted by forms of gnostic knowledge by "the spirit."

Query, which spirit?

Re Bill Alnor's death:

Condolences to Jackie and family. I must confess I have mixed feelings. Bill Alnor attemted a great deal of damage to my work, but Jackie did reach out to me in recent years. I trust and pray he was fully with the Lord at the end of his life and that his differences with me were ones of opinion rather than compromise.

What must a Catholic do to be saved?

SAME THING AS A PROTESTANT MUST DO TO BE SAVED: BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND THOU SHALT BE SAVED.

Catholics who fully profess and believe their faith as non-compromised by New Age Catholics AFFIRM JESUS CHRIST, they generally do not deny him. Now the New Age Catholics of Thomas Berry, Matthew Fox (now excommunicated), Thomas Keating, that's a different story, or "a different kettle of fish."

Muddled Paul

I applaud you for having the courage to speak THE TRUTH!

Some here will say you are being nasty and sarcastic, and are sure to jump all over you. But you have the support of many.

Clearly, the "Muddled Masses" comprise a large portion of this blog's readership. But some of us have known this for a very long time. LOL.

I'm amazed that anyone would
conclude that the present Papacy
is infallible and that every word
out of the Vatican is taken as equal
to the Bible.

For one who claims to have grown up Catholic, you display an astonishing level of ignorance about the teachings of the Catholic church. You just thoroughly botched the definition of "papal infallability" for one.

This, along with other things you have written, suggest your claims about having a Catholic background are merely a fabrication.

You are kidding, right? You are correct in what it takes to be saved, and that goes for anyone.

But, there are a slew of things a catholic is "made" to feel they must do to be saved that are extra-biblical. You know what I mean, sacraments, veneration of Mary, saints, confession, etc.

I have spent 25+ years in the church, and while the clergy may not directly say that you are doomed if you do not follow these man made doctrines, they certainly IMPLY it in every way. Guilt and fear from the church play a large part in "motivating" the congregation since the inception of the church carrying right to the present.

On a different note...I had been praying to the Lord for guidance and direction with a certain matter one evening. During the middle of the night, I found myself awake and unable to sleep. So I grabbed my computer and began searching the area I had been praying about. After discovering the answer to my financial matter, I found the following on a different blog. I think EVERYONE should check it out with discernment too. It is: www.thewarningsecondcoming.com Also, just recently I've discovered some plants starting to re-bloom in my gardens. I've never had my purple-flowered hosta develop flowers in the fall!! And my purple clematis that was looking just like it does just before winter, has suddenly started to flower again. It reminds me of the 'fig tree' in Matt. 24:32. Oh yeah, you should see all the figs appearing on the trees this year !! It's got to be a record harvest for my father-in-law in MI. Catherine

I meant to include in my last post-

It is disappointing that a person with your knowledge and experience plays this blog like a politician.

It seems that you are always aware as to not upset your catholic fan base as these bloggers seem to outnumber all others by 5 to 1.

You should speak the truth, because, I KNOW that you KNOW the truth.

Constance:

If only it was understood to be as simple as the verse you accurately refer to:

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved."

I've studied Catholic Theology along with its undeniable historical ramifications upon Bible believers that were persecuted solely because they were considered heretics (often for simply owning and believing a Bible). RC is a very complicated system of religion that stands as an obstacle in place of the simple gospel of Jesus Christ. To illustrate this point: I have two friends that are twins and are older gentlemen (80 yrs. young) that both happen to be attorneys. Both are very devout, life-long Catholics. We have had many of hours of discussions about religious matters. Recently, the one brother appeared to be disturbed about something during a recent visit. He abruptly interrupted our discussion about political events and asked me "what's all this talk about this born again business I keep hearing about ... where do they get this from?" When I explained to him Jesus' encounter with Nicodemus from the Bible, he replied "I don't know about that, I have never heard about it." Don't you find this amazing that a life-long, devout Catholic that is 80 years old does not even know what the new birth is and that it is referred to explicitly in Scripture? This by no means is an isolated incident. I know countless Catholics that are as clueless as my dear friend is. I find this incredibly sad. I would also say that there are numerous people in "protestant churches” that would be just as much in the dark about this paramount issue. Clever deceptions abound in this fallen world of ours. So clever, that we have specifically been forewarned: “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” 2 Corinthians 11: 13-15. The New Agers are not the only ones that are practicing an enormous deceit upon unsuspecting people!

Catherine,

I did as you asked and checked out the site. This is a thoroughly, unbiblical New Age site. True prophets (those found only as recorded in Scripture) were tested as to their validity. If ANY prophecy was found to be false, they were condemned as a false prophet and stoned to death. A true prophet of God is NEVER wrong when delivering a prophecy. Furthermore, and this is incredibly important, all "prophecy" has been closed since the Book of Revelation has been recorded. The Book of Revelation warns in the very last chapter: "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book;" Chapter 22:18 The people on the site that you refer to are adding to God's prophecy. They are false, New Age prophets! God's will is abundantly revealed through His word. Read it, believe it and apply its undying principles to your life.

Yes, Constance certainly DOES 'know the truth' and here, once again, is what we Catholics believe...

The Apostles Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.

However, it's important for you also to KNOW (what Constance herself has pointed out many times)...that after the Jews and Catholics are attacked...the Protestants (who are deliberately being used and pitted against the other two groups) will be the LAST group to be attacked!!!

Hi Ray B.,
I'm not looking for a fight, but I have a follow up question. Was Jonah (Jonah 3:4) a false prophet because he finally went to Ninevah announcing, 'Forty days more and Ninevah shall be destroyed,' and it never happened? Remember the Ninevites repented. Is God REQUIRED to hold to His original words or can His punishments be mitigated?

I had a look at this website,
but must say it sounds creepy.
This `audible` `jesus` voice prophesying about near events-makes me just wonder; who is really speaking. The specific instruction to hoard food and water for couple of weeks -sounds very creepy. Like someone knows something. `A False Dawn`,A Planned Deception`? We can only stay as close as possible to God`s Word and not head the added extras!

Regarding the warningsecondcoming
website, I have to agree that it's got
the markings of a hoax and a deception.

The first thing Jesus says in Matt.24,
regarding the end of the age and His
second coming is: "Take heed that no
man deceive you, for many shall come
in my name, saying I am Christ, and
shall deceive many."

I suppose no Catholics ever received persecution at the hand of Protestants. Is that what some here would have us believe? It is my historical recall that there was plenty of blame to go around on both sides in the religious and persecution wars!

Literally thousands of Christians were murdered solely for the crime of owning a Bible in their native language. The St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre occurred in 1572 in which protestants (French Huguenots) were murdered en masse. Estimates run as high as 30,000 victims. What was the response of Pope Gregory XII? He ordered a Te Deum to be sung as a special thanksgiving (a practice continued for many years after) and had a medal struck with the motto Ugonottorum strages 1572 showing an angel bearing a cross and sword next to slaughtered Protestants. Then there is the Inquisition. Do I have to elaborate on that?

Hey there Ray B,

Would you like to return to the time of the Reformation where Catholic priests and those who sheltered them illegally were hunted down for sport by the Protestant authorities? If so, congratulations--so would the New Age leadership.

Mariel said...

I am shocked to see such fighting among people of different denominations here.

We should be united against the common foe. I am a Protestant, formerly Catholic, because I disagree with the Church on two basic teachings, but I love some of the other Catholic traditions and actually agree with some of their dogmatic differences. But that's my choice, and I feel Jesus would not have us haggle over these things. They ARE important, but not as important as defying Satan and his minions.
Ecumenical affairs between Prots and Catholics should be easy, unlike the same contorted efforts to produce agreement between Christians and Moslems, which is now gong on in many church denominations, or agreements between hard core New Agers and Christians.

Is anyone following the "Occupy Wall Street?" info? I was wondering if anyone knows (cause Alex Jones claims Soros is...financially funding that movement...who happens to have support from Kouchner....puzzle pieces coming together?

Mariel said...

I'm half Irish and I am of the Irish bloggists, but I am not Catholic at this time--I find myself to be an ecumenical person who would like to be a Catholic but find a couple of their modern teachings to be unacceptable. But I do have to laugh at the question of whether this is an Irish blog. Is Constance Irish?

I think it is excellent that there are Protestants and Catholics here. Although there are important differences between them I do think they believe the basic gospel. In both Catholic and Protestant circles there are those who stray into New Age and apostate beliefs.

A serious apostate belief would be to deny the divinity or resurrection of Our Lord. Do we not all affirm these? Do we not all affirm that He died to save us?

Isn't that enough? When He returns and asks Whom we belong to, won't those be the main things He will look at?

So why fight, look up, your Redemption draweth nigh!

Anonymous said...

Mariel,

Amen! You may have noticed it is always members of the Protestant contingent who start the Catholic bashing. The Catholics are right to defend themselves and their Church. I have yet to see a Catholic here deny that Protestants who post here are not their brothers and sisters in Christ.

As a Catholic poster pointed out above, this interdenominational fighting delights the New Age movement!

Ray B, Paul, etc have a lot to learn from you.
