MOSCOW, July 8 (Itar-Tass) - Russia favours discussions on all problems with Iran in the course of the Sextet talks, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.
The Sextet jointly with former EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) Javier Solana insisted the talks with Iran focused on concerns over its nuclear programme. We intend to discuss these moments now,” the Russian diplomat told journalists on Thursday.
“We believe that we cannot ignore Iran’s proposals, which were put forth in 2008 and confirmed in 2009. It is necessary to consider all proposals that both parties put forth,” Ryabkov stressed.

Ok my last exhortation to the saints. This site (not so much the site as the comments as I'm sure Constance is a good Christian lady with a good heart) is a pandora's box of animosity towards Catholicism, nit picking speck-in-my-neighbour's-eyes attitude (Craig), people bogged down in sola scriptura (same person), people believing in a physical rapture of the Church (i.e. the people making up that Church), belief in the doctrine of "once saved always saved" (a doctrine that bears Satan's seal of approval), in short a Tower of Babel.This is really bad oecumenism. Solana, Creme, Freemasons and the like are all Satan's paws actively and tirelessly putting one brick at a time to build a platform on which AC and the false Church will stand, but it can be a long process. God's economy is above us and for all we know AC might not appear before another 30-40 years maybe. In one of Craig's replies to me he wrote (paraphrasing): IF I'm correct, it COULD, it COULD POSSIBLY IF, it MIGHT PERHAPS... Where does that lead us? It's been quite warm here in Michigan recently. It's almost hard to imagine that less than six months ago I was shoveling snow (well, using a snowblower). In the summer it's hard to imagine everything covered in snow and ice. It's hard to imagine the leaves on the trees changing color.

But, eventually autumn will be here, the leaves will change color, and yes, there will eventually be snow. I can't tell you when the first snowfall will be this upcoming winter or how much will fall. However, it will be here. Do I even want to think about snow, no way. But, it will be here.

I am reading 'The Islamic AntiChrist'. Although I have followed Constance and her counterparts for years, I am wondering where Islam's Mahdi & 'their' Jesus fits in to Javier Solana & Company? The parallels for the AntiChrist & False Prophet of the Bible & the Mahdi & the Muslim Jesus in the Qu'ran are too close for comfort and much to similar to ignore.

This sounds really strange. Humanitarian efforts in Costa Rica?

Minister of Public Security Jose Maria Tijerino stressed that this huge, powerful military force would be under the command of the US Coast Guard and not the US Navy.

US COAST GUARD? Red flag!

My guess is that this has more to do with being strategically located near the Gulf of Mexico and Panama Canal then anything going on in Costa Rica. Defense of more rigs? Looking for Korean subs? Russian subs? Iranian missiles on Korean subs? Evacuations? Disaster? Getting ready for the big explosion?

Any other guesses out there?

What is so disturbing about this military buildup in Costa Rica is that more and more of America's senior citizens have chosen to pick up and move out of the United States to live out their retirement years in that beautiful country. It was always considered to be a 'paradise' - with a mild climate, low cost of living, low crime rate, stable government, and very friendly people.

I once knew someone who loved to argue. Unfortunately, I would end up playing into her hands and argue back. When I learned not to play into it any longer, the arguments ceased. I no longer associate with this person as "bad character corrupts good morals." Sometimes, however, being human and still having the old sin nature, I succumb. Hopefully, now I've learned it for good!

Regarding the Anti-Christ; the Ante-Nicene Fathers tended to view him as coming from the tribe of Dan, and that it would be he who would initiate the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem. If indeed this is correct, then an Islamic man as the Anti-Christ seems out of the question.

I just saw a news story on KATU channel 2 from Portland, Oregon about a little pooch reunited with owners after being lost and found 1300 miles from home. The puppy had an I.D. chip implanted and a vet 1300 miles away read the chip implant with a reader and got all the owners info and the dog is back home in Hillsboro, Oregon. The blogs are full of speculation, take your pick. Such a large military force under the command of the U.S. Coast Guard is very unusual, to say the least. My first thought was security of the Panama Canal if Iran is hit, or North Korea threatens to go ballistic. But why the Coast Guard and not the Navy? Very unusual that such a force is flying under the radar. The drug interdiction cover story is weak. Something bigger is afoot.

1-wrong way of reading the Scriptures 2-a grossly unwarranted inference, not doctrines of demons. Please read twice and don't misquote me. Don't rekindle flames of division. "Once saved, always saved" however is a totally different issue as it gives people a false sense of security and it can cause them to disregard morals and sin, and yes it was carefully crafted in the very depths of the pits of hell. The other two, to me, are the results of using wrong filters, as it were.

I wanted to let you know that I've begun viewing the "slideshow" of Daniel & Revelation on the fishhouse site. It has been revealing, to use a pun. I've learned some new things, for example, the possibility that Jesus' actual birth was approx. 7 years before it is commonly reported making Him 40 at his crucifixion.

So far, I'm on slide 33; and, Skolfield has helped confirm and/or clarify some of my "independent" observations on reading certain texts in Revelation [The two witnesses (as you've mentioned before), and the meaning of Rev 10:6-7]. While I'm not sure where he's going with this just yet [I don't have precognition ;-)], I can see where he may help me confirm some of my other views. One of these is my working hypothesis regarding the Seven Seals.

Apparently, Roman custom was that wills were sealed sometimes multiple times, some even seven times. Could it be then that Jesus was reading his own "will" -- a declaration of what was to come in the seven seals of chapter 6? This would be a preterist view of the seals in that the reading/decreeing of them by Jesus either had already occurred when John had his vision (this part of the vision was past) or John was actually seeing it in real time.

With this view in mind, the first four seals began very soon after they were opened and are continuing to this day. The white horse would be the "conqueror" whose conquest is by false religion -- Satan masquerading as an angel of light. Certainly, there has never been peace on earth; and, paying a day's wages (black horse) for food has happened in different cultures throughout time including today.

I had always had a problem with the sixth seal especially as it has aspects of some of the trumpets and bowls. Specifically, verses 6:12-13 are similar to 8:12 and 6:14-17 compare to 16:20-21 & 19:18. With language like "The sky receded like a scroll..." [NIV], this sounds like the very end. With no sky how would there be an earth as we know it?

So then, could it be that these seals are an overview of what was to come with the trumpets and bowls/vials the more specific illustration of some of these still future events at the time of John's writing?

We tend to focus a lot of time and energy here on Javier Solana, but in truth I don't believe in a single man as antichrist. An antichrist is anyone or anything that is against god, and there have been many, many antichrists throughout history, as we all know.

The threat of the spread of Islam, Christianity's mortal enemy, has been swept under the carpet for many years now, and with the current administration it is increasingly obvious that America is in bed with the Moslem Brotherhood. Here's a comment from the link that Dorothy provided:

3.He was made Supreme Allied Commander Europe on 17 January 2003
4.He was appointed Chief of Staff, Joint Task Force Provide Promise, for operations in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Macedonia,
5.He champions the idea of breaking the deadlock between Israelis and Palestinians by introducing an American plan for a two-state solution — an idea opposed by most Israeli leaders (link below)
6.He is in bed with big oil and is/was president and chief executive officer of the U.S. Chamber Institute for 21st Century Energy,
7.He's been accused of being anti-Semitic(link below)
8.He answers, in his own words, to Henry Kissinger.

Coincidence? He's the national security adviser so is it any wonder that Islam is advancing its agenda in this country as Americans sleep?

Truth is obvious. Obama's administration is anti-Israel and pro-Islam. It is anti-Christian (just ask my son who did not get the $8,000 first time home-buyer credit promised by the gov't because of a marriage penalty written into the law!) and is on the fast track to destroy the last vestiges of what was once a great country through socialism and fascism.

Sorry this is so long, but I have just spent the last week reading The Last Prophet (which I think everyone should try to read with an open mind), as well as the bible and history books along side it to verify what I was reading in Skolfield's book.

The followers of Islam will not be satisfied until every person in the world is under Sharia Law and many of us here will most probably lose our lives for our belief in Jesus.

Reading Mr. Skolfied's book along with recalling world history through the timeline of the bible has opened my eyes to the danger that is all around us. While I must admit that I don't agree with everything he has said in his book, the timelines are amazing. According to the book, The Dome of the Rock is the abomination of Desolation and if you only read to that point, I think you'll find it worth the effort.

Truth is obvious. Obama's administration is anti-Israel and pro-Islam. It is anti-Christian (just ask my son who did not get the $8,000 first time home-buyer credit promised by the gov't because of a marriage penalty written into the law!) and is on the fast track to destroy the last vestiges of what was once a great country through socialism and fascism.

PS: I am now also looking at the evidence that the oil rig was deliberately sabotaged through BP's web-like connections to banks and global government , especially through people like General Jim Jones. I feel this was done deliberately to further America's dependence on foreign (Moslem) oil, even as we have tried to become independent of it. We'll see if the judges' ruling ending the moratorium on drilling will last, now that the public becomes increasingly outraged at the outright destruction of the Gulf of Mexico and Charlie Crist has joined the fray.

I must say that the chapter that was most important to me in the entire book was the chapter on the timeless covenant. Pastors and scholars have skirted around interpreting that for years, but Skolfield's was the most beautiful explanation that I have ever read, and gives a whole new meaning in my heart to the grafting of the Gentiles to the olive tree. It also shows that the spiritual blindness of the Jews (in recognizing Jesus as Messiah) had to be in order for the Gentile (Christian) church to be saved. In effect, the Jews have suffered blindness over the centuries so that the Christians could be saved, because of God's love for us, and them. Wow!

Romans: 24-31
After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!

People have thought that it was unusual that America has not had any terrorist attacks since 9/11. The more I think about it, the greatest and most brilliant Jihad ever committed was perpetrated upon this country in November 2008.

ON June 6, 1967 Israel won back Jerusalem. Since then millions of Jews have returned to their homeland. If 1967 marked the end of "the time of the Gentiles" than we are certainly in the last generation. If the false prophet was Mohammed then the beast is the world government system (NWO) that is currently allowing Islam to flourish and grow like wildfire throughout the world. Regarding the fourth beast in Daniel 7:25 we read:

Daniel 7:25 He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.

Islam follows a different calendar and follows Sharia law.

I can only wonder if this build-up of ships in south America and the Persian gulf is in preparation for World War 3.

Still chewing on that one.

The New Age movement was a way to destroy the church from within, as Constance has shown many times over. The poverty that many Christian Americans are feeling for the first time in their lives is affecting their ability to tithe. Churches are closing by the dozens on a daily basis- this was planned, too, and will only get worse in this current economy.

As we can see here on this blog by the unfortunate bickering between Catholics and evangelicals, Satan is having a hey-day with the churches in these last days.

For me, I am more and more believing that the best we can do in these times is go back to the methods of the early church-create small cell groups in our own homes where we can pray and read the bible on our own.

Just a thought.

The part that was unclear was the chapter on the Leopard, Bear, Lion and the references to Daniel 7. He seems to say that Hitler was the little horn of the fourth beast, but then in discussing Daniel 7:25 he refers to Islam, so that part was confusing for me.

I felt the explanation of the two witnesses makes complete sense and that in view of the condition of today's churches, the time of the Gentiles is indeed over. Interestingly, according to Skolfield, 1967 marked the end of the time of the Gentiles. That certainly was the beginning of a huge acceleration of the NAM through the promoting of the Age of Aquarius, and the beginning of the end for what were once many good, mainstream churches.

I also completely agree with the last trumpet being the LAST trumpet. It never made sense to me that the end times Christians would be spared from being martyred when they weren't spared in the past.

Anyhow, my husband is reading it now and I am also passing it along to another Christian who is pre-trib for his comments. In the end, we'll all do a bible study together on it, and at that time I'll take a better look at all the timelines. But from a first glance, the explanations of time, times and half a time, and hours and days and weeks as they translate into lunar time with Daniel and solar time with the prophet John, seem sensible to me.

Actually, it is the only book I've ever read on the subject that makes sense to me. He wrote the book in 2001, when he was obviously overwhelmed and influenced by 9/11. I wonder what new insights he might have had over the last 9 years?

whether you believe sola scriptura is wrong or inadequate, that's just your belief, so you really can't argue it, it's just a belief. I feel it's a safer bet to not be deceived by men's doctrines, but to use just the inspired word of God. Using scripture to interpret scripture makes more sense then having someone tell you what it means.

However, the rapture is not just an inference. It's a theological word to describe "caught up" which is not inferred but explicitly taught by Paul and John in the Bible. Unless you don't read Revelation where it speaks of the child of the woman being "caught up" the two witnesses being "caught up" and in Thessalonians the church being "caught up". If you add to that the "being changed in a twinkling of an eye, the mortal putting on immortality" from Corinthians you'll be able to see the context of the rapture.

Dear anonymous 2:09 Just to be clear, are you referring to the physical rapture before or while AC is waging war against the saints (Left Behind Series type or what Jack Van Impe professes)? If so it would seem to be a doctrine of men, which you so abhor. It traces back to preacher/pastor John Darby, who founded the Brethren of Plymouth. Interestingly, Aleister Crowley's family were ardent followers of their teachings. Please don't infer anything from the last sentence as I thought it was just noteworthy, not a telling connection. Please, let's leave it at that; we could have theological arguments until we're blue in the face/ Christ's return, whichever comes first.

I've not gotten to the Timeless Covenant part as I'm slowly going over the slideshow.

I may be dense; but, I'm having a hard time with Skolfield's combining the beginning of the 1290 years from Daniel 12:11 which he posits (understandably) as starting at 533BC [Daniel's vision of Daniel 10:1] with the 586BC fall of Jerusalem [when sacrifices were abolished]. This seems to conflict with Daniel 9:27 and 12:11 when put together which appear to be saying that the daily sacrifice being abolished and the set up of the abomination that causes desolation are one and the same event -- or at least in very close proximity to one another.

I have thought about that, too. However, I don't believe the connections to 666 and Javier Solana are strong enough, for the simple reason they are too obvious. Why not have his name attached to that 1995 document to deflect the attention from a different contender for the role?

A job was created for Solana under Section 666 of the European Codified Documents. How convenient. It's just too convenient if you ask me. Would you not agree that the 'number of a man' might pertain more to his name than to a document that assigns his job description?

Here's something you can do in your spare time, that might be kind of fun.

1.Take a piece of paper and across the top horizontally write the alphabet from A to Z. Now underneath each letter assign a number from 1 to 26. Now take our president's full name including his middle name Hussein and attach a numerical value to each of the three names. Add them all together and you'll get 163.

2. Now take another piece of paper and write the letters of the alphabet across the page again. This time underneath the letters assign a number going backwards from 26 to 1. Do the same thing as above. Assign all three words in our president's name a number by adding the numbers together, then add the numbers of the three names together and you'll get 323.

So 323 plus 163 =486.

Now take the numbers 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-0 and write them across on another sheet of paper. Underneath these numbers assign a letter of the alphabet starting from A under the number 1 and ending with Z under the number 8. Do not assign anything to zero, since zero is an empty number. Just leave the space under zero blank. You'll have three rows of letters under the numbers to complete the alphabet. Now do the same thing you did in steps 1 and 2, and add them toegther. Barack=18, Hussein=32 and Obama =14. Add them together and you get 64.

4. Now repeat the exercise again only this time start with Z (under the number one) and go backwards in three rows until you get an A under the 8. Add them all together again and you get 116.

So let's add the 4 combinations together and we get 163+323+64+116 =666.

If you think that's just a coincidence you can also try it this way instead.

Do part 1 and 2 again. Now for part 3, start the numbers backwards from 9 to 1 and assign a letter from A to Z under each one. Add everything together and you get 116.

For part 4, again start with 9 and write the numbers backwards from left to right from 9 to 1. Underneath assign a letter to each number this time going backwards from Z to A. You'll get 64.

So once again we get 163+323+116+64 =666.

Statistics will tell you it's impossible for this to happen.

So if God in his almightly wisdom looked into the future and wanted to give his people a clue about this infamous "Man of perdition", wouldn't he use the same alphabet and number system that the man and his people used, and which the whole world recognizes?

Don't forget the creepy coincedence of the Illinois state lottery being 666 right after the general election that led to Obama becoming where he is now. I still lean towards Solana as the better candidate for AC, but I'm not counting out Obama. However, both Solana and Obama are very like-minded. Whoever the AC is will eventually be revealed as the Bible has said.


I do believe the AC(in the flesh) is in our world and it's only a matter of time before he's revealed. It's good that we look in as many directions as possible

Regarding 666, even though I haven't checked yet the Vatican's take on the matter, in the Marian Priest Movement Fr. Don Gobbi was "told" through interior locutions some of the meaning of 666. They represented different eras, time periods, NOT specific dates. Here we go: 666x1=666 birth of Islam 666x2=1332 attack on the faith through philosophy, esp. rationalism 666x3=1998 appearance of Antichrist. Again, time periods, not specific year/date.

Recently I noted on here that I saw an advertisement for the Earth Charter on CNN. This prompted me to do a bit more research on the EC on the 'net. One of the things I kept coming across was a Ted Turner quote calling for "250 to 300 million" as an ideal for total global population; however, I could not find that actual source. There are variations on the quote itself and a few variations on the source.

With the help of a book/magazine store I was able to obtain the actual magazine which contains the Turner interview and quote. It's from the November/December 1991 Audubon article titled, "Ted Turner Turns It On." Here's the quote:

"If we had a much smaller population, and over time we could have an ethic where we had only one child, and over maybe 300 or 400 years we could cut back to 250million- 350 million people..." [punctuation as per original article]

According to Turner in the article, the population at the time was "...5.3 billion people in the world and only 250 million of them live here [in the US]..." Current population is 6.85 billion and 300 million respectively and an increase of 1.65b and 50m respectively. Just to keep world population constant, this would call for a reduction of about 87 million over this 19 year timeframe -- just under 4.6 million per year.

Splitting the difference between the two sets of numbers in Turner's quote, 350 years to be reduced to a population of 300 million [300 million, again, is the current US population], this would call for an annual reduction of 14.29 million. Assuming projected growth to be similar to the growth from 1991 to 2010 we need to add the 4.6 million above for a total depopulation of about 18.9 million per year.

To me, his whole doctrine, if you will, stands on his interpretation of Daniel's "70th week;" yet, I don't understand how he arrives at the 70th "week" being 2500 years when the 69 "weeks" prior are only 483.

And, maybe I've not come across this just yet but, where is the "covenant which will be "confirmed/strengthened" in Daniel 9:27?

I'll need to go back through the book and look into it. My advice would be to consider downloading the book. I'm thinking that it would be easier to read and understand what he wrote, than to try and follow it on a slideshow. I had my bible by my side the entire time I was reading it, and kept checking his references. I also used a history book when I needed additional information.

Thanks for taking a look at the slideshow.

I have another problem with Skolfield's analysis. He asserts that the time of the Gentiles was completed in 1967 with "The freeing of Jerusalem from Gentile control.." yet the City of David contains both the Dome of the Rock and al-Aqsa Mosque both of which are under Palestinian control. Does Skolfield assert that East Jerusalem is the REAL Jerusalem with the area containing the two Mosques of Islam excluded?

As far as Jerusalem, Israel is in control of Jerusalem. Yes, the Dome of the Rock still stands, but in Rev 11:2 it says to leave out the outer court b/c it was given to the gentiles. The Dome of the Rock is where the outer court was located.

As far as the 1290 days, it does not have anything to do with the 70th Week. Clear your mind of all of your previous knowledge of the tribulation week. Also reading Bifids and Chiasms and Daniel's 70th Week after the False Prophet helps as well.

I'm not going to dismiss what you said about Obama using the numerology thing. It is intriguing. Although, the lottery thing is still the freakiest. I'm just saying be careful with numerology. People who dabble into numerology or astrology for fun could be stirring up trouble. It's like all those paranormal investigators and shows searching for ghosts. Hmmm. Could they have removed the cap on the well because of the solar eclipse? If the solar eclipse is causing solar flares which is causing additional earthquake activity, is it possible that they removed the cap because they wanted to relieve the well of extra pressure.

Earlier I mentioned the 70th seven being one of the issues that I have with Skolfield. Everything else is pretty hard to argue with in my opinion. Skolfield claims (actually if you ask him he will say he does not but the Bible does) that the covenant was the Decree of Cyrus in 536BC. The decree was to rebuild the Temple. Skolfield does not really make clear what the covenant is really. The first six chapters of the book of Ezra detail the decree to rebuild the Temple.

My opinion is Skolfield really does not have an answer for the covenant. I will email him and see what he says. I assume it is Skolfield that is answering the emails I have already sent. This is one of two points that I really still have questions regarding Skolfield's position.

Funny little story about sending energy. Many years ago I went to a Unitarian Church to see Barbara Marx Hubbard speak. Lucis Trust people were there, but not openly. Triangles is a branch of Lucis Trust. We were supposed to send our energy to a foreign city that needed it. I was chosen to pick the foreign city for our group. They were suspicious of me. I told them we would send our energy to Albuquerque. I used the name because it sounded foreign and I wanted to see what they would do. They didn't know what to do. At that point they didn't know whether I was smart or stupid. Afterwards I challenged Hubbard. While she was speaking on stage she couldn't stop smiling. Afterwards she was one mean bitch.

Craig LOL It doesn't take an awful lot of spiritual flair to sense that something is profundly wrong with all these televangelists. I'm glad no-one in this forum/comment section falls for that. On a side-note, I've done some research in the past on Benny Hinn and it named Kathryn Kuhlman as his mentor/inspiration and it even said that he had contact(s) with her through necromancia. Just watching him or Copeland "slay in the spirit" or laugh hysterically as if they're demon-possessed is enough evidence to start with that they're not of God. To get back to Kathryn Kuhlman, watching her on You Tube was the single most scary thing I've watched in a long time. That's why I didn't provide a link. If you do go, say a fervent prayer beforehand.

Whatever Constance. Though we are both over 65, I'll respect the standards you want to live by. Frankly I was called a lot worse on this blog with no apology from anyone.

I found it interesting that no one commented on the information I provided, but are rather concerned with the fact that I was not being politically correct.

I still don't think calling Hubbard a real word is profanity. I don't think Hubbard should be revered by anyone in any way shape or form. However, it's a big world and some do.

The current concentration on sex is a major sign of New Age manipulation. It affects us at the core, our families. Since the '60s every new generation has been manipulated. How? First, it reminds me of the line from a book about Sweden...Because they have sexual freedom, they think they are free. Also, in the book Brave New World, people would go to the movies after work and enjoy "feelies" as a distraction from the world around them.

Sex in front of our faces on a daily basis outside of marriage is a major distraction from what is going on in the world. Look at the role sex plays in the homosexual culture. It has lowered the men involved to an animal level, leaving them with nothing after they start getting old and stop being pretty playthings. They have no families, no community, nothing.

That is what is happening to the general culture now. It is why people are dependent on government and not family and community. Dependency on government is very much a sign of New Age manipulation.

To my mind this is what affects people at the street level. Every parent needs to fight for their children's future. It's a hard battle, one against the community around them. When one loses time in understanding this, the battle for one's children is lost.

At this point I would like to compare it to the oil leak in the Gulf. Oil in the gulf is neutral but yet it damages. Other than BP, there is no source to blame, yet the damage being done is large and uncontrolable and those who we have been taught are to take care of us, such as the current government, don't do anything. You've got to do it for yourself.

C.S. Lewis talked about how rampant homosexual behaviour was at the boys' school he and his brother attended. When the new students came in, the upper classmen dumped their old boys for fresh boys.

But when I worked and was not on lay-off, I didn't see much of this stuff with the few workers there which I knew were "gay" (except for the one guy, who fit the flamboyant stereotype). These people had partners at home and, as far as I know, were mostly monogomous, and more or less happy, at least as much as any of the heterosexual couples. The heterosexuals seemed to often forget they were married. Maybe most work places are like Peyton Place nowadays.

As a pastor's wife, I have learned that we must maintain a high standard of discretion. Personally, I do not agree with the word of faith televangelists and their spirituality. However, most of my church members do.

I could squawk and use derisive satire. Doing so would alienate people dear to me and get me and hubby into much hot water.

I have found that speaking pointed remarks or asking thought provoking questions is much more powerful than ridicule. Ridicule shows the condition of the heart. It takes much to control the flesh when we see and hear such foolish stuff out of the mouths of so-called spiritual celebrities. We absolutely MUST speak out. But such rebuke must be done in the context of authority, speaking the truth in love.

Jesus rebuked the Pharisees. He called them vipers and whited sepulchers. But he did not mock and ridicule.

I have been speaking out regarding much of what I learn here from the researchers at this blog site. I would love to point people here. But when I see comments such as the Copeland satire, I hold back.

I do not state this judgmentally; I have a great tendency towards satire and criticism myself. I am learning restraint and self control. It's hard with the ludicrous remarks made by the likes of those in the Copeland satire.

...Hmmm...I think Proverbs has much to say about the lips of fools and the lips of the wise....

So, Constance, I am weighing in, to say that the satire is in poor taste, that the need to expose false teaching is very great. We can do so in such a way as to bring glory to God and correction to the simple.

We need more Christians who point out the liars and their lies. My spouse's mother was a victim of that crowd for years, sending so much money to them (Jim and Tammy, et al). I have no doubt there are some stable relationships in the homosexual community. If you have followed homosexual newspapers for any length of time where the culture is exposed to public view, you will see that it is primarily based on a search for extremely large numbers of partners, particularly young looking or hot looking individuals. Looks are extremely important in that community.

Most people would rather take what they are taught about the homosexual community by the media rather than face what actually goes on. Some trips to homosexual bookstores could help straighten information out. I did do that to see first hand what actually was going on.

Read the two part series on the trial in the international court to see how information can get deliberately distorted.

The move to identify us through biometric data is quickly advancing. At work we are required to use our fingrprint to clock in and out and this weekend I was at Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando for a youth athletic tournament and they asked for your fingerprint to enter the park (ostensibly as a way to keep people from cheating and giving each other their ticket to enter the park). Just want to make a quick point: what really determines whether someone or an institution is FULL adherence to the doctrine and to what is called the deposit of the faith. I don't care if it's a university or some other organization, if it doesn't fully adhere to Catholicism AND act accordingly, then quite simply it's not. Hans Kung, for instance, can teach all manners of heresies (from Catholic standpoint) as long as he doesn't claim it's/he's Catholic. Disappointing, yes; distressing, no. Plus I don't see why Craig needed to apologize for fake Copeland, as I thought it was pretty harmless derision and funny too.

Thank you for your responses. I agree with much of what if not most of what you say. Yes, Craig, I am aware of what you wrote about Word Faith and the force of our words.

I do not tip-toe around our congregation. We are not the senior leaders of our church and my husband is in a different place than I regarding understanding of the inroads of the NAM and how that works out in our affiliations. This puts me in a difficult position. I must be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. I have shared my situation with leaders of ODM’s well-known to many on this blog and they are sympathetic and supportive of my circumstance. I do the best I can in the place that I find myself trusting the Lord daily for grace and direction.

I have experienced the gamut of various streams of Protestantism (including three decades of ministry) from extreme fundamentalism to extreme “charismania”. None is without its snares. One of the things that attracted us out of the extreme “cessationist” circle we were in, into our current church was the recognition of dangers of Halloween celebrations. To this day, nearly all the more Baptistic ministries we were associated with still see no harm in this area.

None of us in any category are immune to deception. When I reconnect with some of the folks from our past churches I am surprised to see some of their associations. Let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he falls. We are to watch. Thanks to all on this blog site who are watchers. May we sharpen each other. My point is that we be wise as serpents and harmless as doves and always endeavoring to live out the fruit of the Spirit.

Thank you for your responses. I agree with much of what if not most of what you say. Yes, Craig, I am aware of what you wrote about Word Faith and the force of our words.

I do not tip-toe around our congregation. We are not the senior leaders of our church and my husband is in a different place than I regarding understanding of the inroads of the NAM and how that works out in our affiliations. This puts me in a difficult position. I must be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. I have shared my situation with leaders of ODM’s well-known to many on this blog and they are sympathetic and supportive of my circumstance. I do the best I can in the place that I find myself trusting the Lord daily for grace and direction.

I have experienced the gamut of various streams of Protestantism (including three decades of ministry) from extreme fundamentalism to extreme “charismania”. None is without its snares. One of the things that attracted us out of the extreme “cessationist” circle we were in, into our current church was the recognition of dangers of Halloween celebrations. To this day, nearly all the more Baptistic ministries we were associated with still see no harm in this area.

None of us in any category are immune to deception. When I reconnect with some of the folks from our past churches I am surprised to see some of their associations. Let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he falls. We are to watch. Thanks to all on this blog site who are watchers. May we sharpen each other. My point is that we be wise as serpents and harmless as doves and always endeavoring to live out the fruit of the Spirit.

YMCA certainly did have a foundation in Christianity. Intial YMCA's were founded around bible study and prayer. Do not know enough of founders. But DL Mood and John mott played particular roles. I have been a member of the YMCA here in Battle Creek for over a year. It significantly helped me become physically healthy and lose over 45 lbs last year (and so far has helped me maintain). However, it doesn't do anything for me spiritually. Whatever it use to be, all it is now is just a fitness club with non-profit status (although membership is not cheap).

I thought the YMCA always used a Y with a triangle as it's logo. Maybe this explains the song by the Village People.

I think the YMCA been involved in varied "World peace" and globalization efforts. My step-grandfather was very active with the YMCA in dublin. It was all reaching out to others apart from the violence.

It looks like New Age Newt Gingrich is positioning himself to be a candidate for president in 2012. Over the years he certainly has been working hard to keep himself in the public eye, attempting to position himself as a conservative. Of course he couldn't keep in the public eye without a lot of cooperation from the media.

Let's hope that there aren't enough foolish people out there to keep that nightmare alive.

Newt Gingrich is a very evil man who I have tracked since 1982. I first learned of him when Marilyn Ferguson wrote of the brave Georgian Congressman who was doing so much to advance the New Age agenda. Mark Satin's NEW OPTIONS newsletter in 1985 as I recall gave Gingrich high marks for the best New Age / Internationalist voting record in Congress along with Marcy Kapteyn of Toledo, Ohio. One of Newt Gingrich's more recent books, A CONTRACT WITH THE EARTH, says it all -- EARTH WORSHIP, the probable real IMAGE OF THE BEAST, the WHOLE EARTH itself.

Teens Now Getting High Off 'Digital Drugs'

MUSTANG, Oklahoma – I-dosing on "digital drugs" is becoming an alarming new trend amongst teens.

Web sites are luring kids with free downloads of "digital drugs," which are audio files designed to induce drug-like effects. The sites claim it is a safe and legal way to get high, but parents fear it could lead to illegal drug use.

Videos of teenagers trying digital drugs are all over YouTube, leaving parents, educators and law enforcement officials with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs concerned.

"Kids are going to flock to these sites just to see what it is about and it can lead them to other places," said OBNDD spokesperson Mark Woodward.

The digital drugs use binaural or two-toned technology to alter your brainwaves and mental state.

"Well it's just scary, definitely scary. Just one more thing to look out for," said parent Kelly Johnson.

Recently Mustang Public Schools sent out a letter warning parents about the new trend after several high school students reported having physiological effects after trying one of these digital downloads. Students and graduates are still talking about it.

"I heard it was like some weird demons and stuff through an iPod and he was like freaking out," said Mustang High School student Meghan Edwards.

"People do need to be concerned about it. It's not just something that should be overlooked," said Shelbi Reed, Mustang High School graduate.

"We had never come across anything like this and anything that is going to cause these physiological effects in a student, that causes us concern," said Shannon Rigsby, Mustang Public Schools Communication Officer.

Mustang schools are doing what they can to put a stop to it, including cracking down on the use of cell phone and other technology while on campus.

The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics said parental awareness is key to preventing future problems, since I-dosing could indicate a willingness to experiment with drugs.

"So that's why we want parents to be aware of what sites their kids are visiting and not just dismiss this as something harmless on the computer," Woodward said. "If you want to reach these kids, save these kids and keep these kids safe, parents have to be aware. They've got to take action."

Another concern the OBN has is that many of these I-dosing sites lure visitors to actual drug and drug paraphernalia sites.

There was a Futurist magazine I picked up in the early '80s but which came out in the '70s. It featured conversations with Alvin Toffler and Hazel Henderson. There was an article titled: Would you vote for a Futurist?
In the article there was a section on Gingrich and the 1974 campaign which he almost won.

I went to hear him speak in September of 1984, so when Barbara Morris wrote about him in her newsletter I contacted her to let her know what I knew. I put together a three pager which was circulated through her newsletter.

Good old Newt was a an early Futurist, a group tied closely to the New Age movement.

Constance and I contributed to the New American piece. I had heard that Jasper was doing a piece on Gingrich and asked Constance what she knew. (She knew a lot more than I did at the time, though I knew a lot. Her research took a page of references in one of her newsletters.) As a result, there was a section of the article specifically connecting Gingrich's tie to New Age. I was told that several thousand copies of that magazine sold in DC, and that it may have played a part in the rebellion of the new Republicans in Congress against him.

I know that that section was excerpted in many alternative publications at the time.

Newt is a smooth talker whose personal life may keep him from going further. We can only hope.

I see that Maurice Strong was president of Canadian YMCA. YMCA even back in my grandfather's day was wrapped up in globism, for sure.
It is interesting though in tracking where the YMCA got off track and it really reflects varied deviations. Also shows danger of the moral/character building focus that became hallmark. Examing the history of YMCA is much like the downgrading of Israel. The height of YMCA was probably during DL Moody's time and James Mott began it down the perciptious trail, much like Jereboam with Israel. WOuld be interested in thoughts on DL moody's ymca or thoughts even on DL Moody.

The population of this town is around 15,000. The school is in the highest bracket (6A) because the district overlaps into SW OKC.
