(IsraelNN.com) According to a classified intelligence assessment handed to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, U.S. President Barack Obama and his senior advisors wish to “incrementally diminish U.S. strategic cooperation with Israel.”
A report in World Tribune quoted an Israeli source familiar with the intelligence assessment who said that "Obama wants to make friends with our worst enemies and [those who were] until now the worst enemies of the United States. Under this policy,” the source added, “we are more than irrelevant. We have become an obstacle.”
According to the report, which has not been corroborated by news sources other than World Tribune, Israeli sources said the U.S. Administration would reject Israel’s intelligence opinions on Iran and Syria while advancing the Obama plan to reconcile with the two states, although both were listed as state sponsors of terrorism by the U.S. State Department.
The Israeli intelligence document reportedly predicted that Obama would maintain his policy of appeasing Iran and Syria through 2010. It determined that Obama is convinced that appeasing Iran and Syria would make a U.S. withdrawal from Iraq and Afghanistan possible.
Pressure on Israel
"Obama will want to show Iran, Syria and radical Muslims that the United States could pressure Israel on a strategic level," the source said. "The pressure has already begun and will intensify throughout the next year or two."
At the same time, the intelligence officials estimated that Obama would restrict U.S. arms exports to Israel in an effort to deny it systems that it could use in a raid on Iran or Syria. The intelligence sources said this policy was begun during the last year of the Bush administration and predicted that it would intensify under Obama.

What began for me as vague suspicions and general uneasiness about BHO, and his rise to the powerful position of President of the United States are, rather than diminishing, daily reports are closing in on confirming my worst fears. Even before the election, Obama was laying the groundwork for what we see developing today. Do you remember, before the election, Obama held secret talks with Iran, and Syria as reported in Arutz Sheva/ Israel National News? His first television interview as President was conducted by the Muslim Al-Arabiya television network, calling the Iranians "a great people," adding (according to the article) "the U.S. has a stake in the well being of the Muslim world." A few days ago I read for the first time, the transcript of Obama's remarks to the Turkish Parliament April 6, 2009.
I found the entire speech very disturbing on a number of levels. We all heard and most of us were appalled by the words Obama spoke about America and her heritage while on his European tour, as they
were coming from a man who purports to speak for the American people. His speech to the Turkish Parliament, in my opinion sends an even more dangerous message, for both the future of Israel and the United States of America. Again, speaking for the American people Obama says,
“We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world -- including in my own country."
Clearly strikes me as a submission to Islam. Not to mention his unmistakable bow before Saudi King Abdullah. Something is very wrong with the entire picture. May the Lord have mercy on us all.

Why "Hate crime" laws would ban Biblical Christianity
The American people voted for “O” and would vote for him today; we all knew what he represented, he represented us, what we have become.
Mac, the “us” I was referring to will soon ban Christianity; my high school 40th reunion is approaching and an example from an old “friend” of mine will suffice to make my point: Kenny greeted me with smiles and reminiscing, we laughed and enjoyed a long walk as we caught up on old times, but the moment I mentioned the Bible he scowled at me, walked off, and didn’t say a word. That was the end of it. “They will hate you because of me.”
I am afraid that support for Israel is like that, and with Christian in fighting about Israel’s rights for self existence the last rampart of “human” protection is being removed; now it is God who will save, but make NO MISTAKE, God will judge those who have supported this outrage against Him.
Buckle-up everyone.

RE: They will hate you because of me. My experience recently in a grief support group, many expressions of grief/beliefs were discussed such as consulting a medium to channel your dead husband, cosmic forces, parallel universes, the gods, and no gods at all, but when I expressed a fundamental Christian viewpoint I was told I held exclusive views and my viewpoint was disrespectful and noninclusive toward others. Everything and anything is acceptable, except the Word of God.

Many years ago, I read about a new attitude on the part of Israel that was fairly recently echoed by a commenter on Independent Mail:
....Arab countries who are massed against Israel need to understand that Israelis are not going to allow themselves to be destroyed or suffer another diaspora. They no longer have the "Masada Complex" (where they will commit suicide rather than surrender); they have the "Samson Complex" (where they will bring down the region rather than surrender).
It was, after all, the Palestinians who started this conflict/war whatever you want to call it. They should stop whining when they are not allowed to bully Israel and stop asking the world to step in and stop it for them.

With regard to the establishment of a Palestinian state, the consequences of the implementation of the Gaza Plan - which vindicated Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's rejection of it - ought to serve as a "preview of coming attractions" in terms of what such a Palestinian state might entail.
Unless I have misjudged Prime Minister Netanyahu, moreover, I think he will do whatever he has to do to defend Israel, and if necessary, he will do it unilaterally.
I doubt very seriously that he is going to allow Israel to be pushed around by another Hitler wannabe - whether his name turns out to be Mahmoud Ahmadinejad or Javier Solana or some other anti-Semitic power-mongering despot.
Regarding that "Scare" Force One plane incident in New York last Monday . . .
I did hear something funny about Obama on David Letterman's show last night:
"President Obama has been enjoying a 68% approval rating until he decided to 'attack' New York City."

LOL Maybe Obama's "attack" on New York City was "payback" for a similar incident that occurred during the previous week when some poor schmuck from Maine got "lost in space" and entered the no fly zone over the White House with his private plane and immediately found himself being escorted out by two F-18 Fighter Jets. I’m glad you added your account to the list of sometimes subtle and sometimes not so subtle persecution of Christians. When a heart is breaking, when we feel alone, the pain couldn’t be any greater than if we were wounded by a knife.

I meant to add in my post that there were widows participating who refered to themselves as Christians who were among those who accepted the use of mediums, visualizing the spirits, etc, and were also among the outspoken against holding to fundamental scripture. The new age, occult and emergent practices that have infiltrated the church is all part of the "us" you refer to that will eventually ban real Christianity.
