The mystery of Javier Solana's lineage continues. A few years ago, famous Spanish writer and diplomat Salvador de Madariaga was proudly proclaimed as Javier Solana's grandfather. Javier Solana was his "nieto" (Spanish for grandson). After revelations of Nieves Mathew's occultism, suddenly, Salvador de Madariaga became an "Uncle" and thereafter "Great Uncle." Nieves Hayat deMadariaga Mathew's Italian language eulogy proclaimed she was the mother of "due figli" (two sons).

Now the relationship of Javier Solana and Salvador de Madariaga, whose foundation Javier Solana currently heads, has been lessened to that of "Great Uncle." HOWEVER, those telling the story on his behalf have obviously done less than artful job of relating family history. Salvador de Madariaga is Javier Solana's "great uncle" because his grandfather (Rogelio de Madariaga y Castro) and Salvador de Madariaga were COUSINS??????????????????????

Let's see: At least where I come from an uncle is the BROTHER of a father. A GREAT UNCLE is the BROTHER of a GRANDFATHER. A cousin of a Grandfather by definition could only be A COUSIN. At least, that's how I understand it. If I'm wrong, please tell me. How does a distant cousin get transformed into a "Great Uncle"? How did the Grandpa suddenly come to be an "Uncle."

Lots of unanswered questions here. This morning Javier Solana for a few hours had only 300,000 google hits "in all languages." I have placed my screen shots of that phenomena above.

Wonder who will get these November Presents?

WONDER WHO WILL GET THESE NOVEMBER PRESENTS?

Herb Peters and I used to have amused discussions about what we called Javier Solana's "November presents." They (significant additional grants of power) were usually 'gift wrapped' and handed to him very close to November 20th on several occasions. A small sampling is below.

• 1995 Treaty of Association with Israel (November 20th)
• 1995 NATO headship (November 30, 1995)
• 1999 Western European Union headship

I am bemused by learning that November 19th, the EU will make decisions on its two major leaders: the president and the Foreign Minister. Read the full story by clicking here. David Miliband refuses EU FM Job - Solana has high price consultant bid -- WHAT NEXT IN EU?

David Miliband has definitively declined the EU Foreign Minister job created and defined by Javier Solana. Javier Solana has reportedly been signed by the Acciona Group as a "consultant" on its international projects. My guess was that he was offered A LOT OF MONEY for the job.

My educated guess is that since the USA opposes Italy's Massimo D'Alema because of Italy's criminal court convictions of 23 CIA agents found guilty there of illegal rendition that despite Frattini's optimistic projection that he may get the job, he probably will not.

My present guess is that Solana will be persuaded to stay on, but only with enormous power concessions to him. Time will tell.

EU's military and tangled foreign policy concerns will at least appear to require somebody of Solana's stature and long experience both in running NATO and the EU itself. What will happen next?

Spain and Israel at odds!

I thank blog poster "Anonymous 12:35" for calling this important breaking news to my attention. You can read about it in full by clicking here. The same Ehud Barak who gushed all over Javier Solana November 27 and November 28, 1995 now has been forced to cancel his planned visit to Spain. When the original Barcelona Conference was held on those two days, it was Ehud Barak who said that "at long last, Israel has joined the European club." He went on to enumerate the benefits of "belonging to the European club." He also said that they had "beaten their swords into ploughshares."

The current seven year ENP (European Neighbourhood Policy) treaty with Israel and many other countries in the "Greater European Neighbourhood" was a clarification, strengthening, and revitalization of the treaty achieved by Javier Solana when he came out of the woodwork to big time enter the world stage in November of 1995. It seems that Solana gets significant power boosts as presents just about every November. One wonders if he will be receiving them this year or if he will pass on the structures he has labored to build to a younger man such as Britain's David Miliband.

At any rate, given the news that Spain is intensely anti-Israel, it is not hard to see the potential for the upcoming six month rotating Spanish presidency of the European breaking commitments entered into earlier. The European Neighbourhood Policy contracts/treaties were up for mid term review in mid 2010. It doesn't appear, at least for the present, as though Israel has accumulated the "brownie points" to keep that European Union "kindness" flowing.

In relevant part from that which I beg you to archive and read in full, we read:

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak has canceled a November 4 and 5 visit to Spain ^[1] amid a dispute over the command of the European-led United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). The visit was called off after reports surfaced ^[2] that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had secretly asked Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi to keep Italy in command of the 13,000-strong UNIFIL force for six months longer than planned, instead of allowing Spain to take over.

Italian General Claudio Graziano is scheduled to turn the command over to a Spanish general in February 2010. The Israeli newspaper Haaretz ^[3] says Israeli officials want Graziano to stay on because they believe that replacing the UNIFIL commander now might further destabilize the already precarious security situation in southern Lebanon. The Spanish newspaper El País ^[4] adds that Italian officials want to retain the command because it would be beneficial to Graziano’s career.

In any case, considering that Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero leads what is arguably the most anti-Israel government in Europe, Netanyahu is probably justified in having some misgivings about a Spanish-led UNIFIL.

Indeed, the unabashedly pro-Arab, pro-Hamas, pro-Hezbollah, and pro-Iranian Zapatero says the Middle East will be a top priority when Spain takes over the six-month rotating presidency ^[5] of the European Union in January 2010. Spanish officials now worry that a six-month delay in taking over the UNIFIL command will deprive Zapatero of a bully pulpit he believes will help him raise his profile in the region.

What next? It's all happening so very fast.

Russians allege European Kyoto Treaty Fraud

Update: Just found picture at left on Google Earth search for "Javier Solana." Solana has been a major proponent of changing international law from recognition of sovereignty to 'humanitarian intervention.' The rub: who gets to decide what is humanitarian and what is not. According to the following Russian report the EU may not have been acting from altruistic motives in promoting its global warming thesis. According to a story appearing in yesterday's NEW YORK TIMES, Al Gore may not have been either. Gore stands to get frightfully rich -- a billionaire from his investments in technologies designed to service the fears he has generated. Read about that from another perspective by clicking here. I made the link GREEN for obviously sarcastic reasons.

According to reports appearing in the Indian press, the Kyoto Treaty was procured with the assistance of European Union complicity in concealing contrary evidence. The alleged motive? Making the market more profitable for European products.

Years ago, British press articles appearing with the signature of John Boyd, Secretary, charged that Javier Solana was helping to execute Jacques Santer's directions that their central organizing principle should be the dislodging of the United States as a competing global power in the 21st century struggle for scarce resources.

Reading this excerpt makes me think that they have been successfully implementing the strategy for several years now. This week Javier Solana and company were in Washington, D.C. Today he participated in an EU-USA "energy summit."

Academician Kapitsa denounced the Kyoto Protocol as “the biggest ever scientific fraud.” The pact was lobbied by European politicians and industrialists, critics say, in order to improve the competitiveness of European products and slow down economic growth in emerging economies. “The European Union pushed through the Kyoto Protocol in order to reduce the competitive edge of the U.S. and other countries where ecological standards are less stringent than in Europe,” says ecologist Sergei Golubchikov.

Russian scientists deny that the Kyoto Protocol reflects a consensus view of the world scientific community. Academician Kapitsa complains that opponents of the man-caused global warming are routinely denied the floor at international climate forums.

“A large number of critical documents submitted at the 1995 U.N. conference in Madrid vanished without a trace,” the scientist says. “As a result, the discussion was one-sided and heavily biased, and the U.N. declared global warming to be a scientific fact.”

Czech President Vaclav Klaus, the last courageous hold-outer on the Lisbon Treaty has reluctantly signed it. You can view it by clicking here and then watching the You-Tube video. Still being mentioned for Foreign Minister are England's David Miliband and Italy's former Prime Minister Massimo. Today, Javier Solana, who is in the USA, issued a statement welcoming a new head of his "EU Military Committee." It is hard for me to see Javier Solana giving up the massive powers of the massive machinery he has assembled. But, who knows? Personally, I suspect that Javier Solana will have another of what Herb Peters and I termed his "November presents." The timing appears to be just about right.

No matter what happens, from now on, it's going to be happening FAST and it promises to be both intense and interesting.

2010: Year of Bridezilla

Barbara Marx Hubbard’s words that the resonating core groups are blending and merging to do the 'one work' have no better evidence than the upcoming 2010 International Year for the Rapprochement of Cultures. In 2010 we are to witness many of the interlocking initiatives we’ve discussed here converge and become the legal basis for global governance. Among these core initiatives include the

• Dialogue [Parnership] among Civilizations;
• Promotion of Interreligious Dialogue and Cooperation for Peace;
• Combating Defamation of Religions;
• Elimination of all Forms of Intolerance and of Discrimination Based on Religion or Belief;
• etc, etc.

With names indicative of peace how could anyone oppose these initiatives?

When I was young I worked for a family who farmed—Harold and Elaine Wells. Harold was a World War II veteran. One year he decided to take Elaine to Europe and travel the places he had been during the War. This meant that the couple would spend some time in East Germany which, then, was part of the communist bloc and divided by the Berlin Wall.

When the couple returned Elaine described to me how she disliked East Germany. They were permitted to see only what their guide allowed. While in a downtown district their guide stopped the group in front of a shop where Elaine saw the most beautiful dress. She said she had to buy it and before the guide could stop her, she had opened the shop door. What she saw was not a store, but a room filled with machinery.

These initiatives are exactly what Elaine saw—nice window dressing and machinery. The machinery, of course, is designed to combat monotheistic religion. As these initiatives blend and converge, we are certain to find the Alliance of Civilizations to be the core resonating group. The Alliance’s initial planning documents say that UN reform IS the successful implementation of the AoC initiative. The timeframe is to move from preparatory phase into activation mode in September 2009. Speaking before the 64th UN General Assembly Spanish Prime Minister Zapatero said:

• "Now we must move a step further. The Alliance of Civilisations, which structures and implements those principles and values in the United Nations, should form part, structurally, of its main organs and at all levels. The moment has come for this General Assembly to approve a Resolution to provide the Alliance of Civilisations with that structural dimension. Spain and Turkey and the Friends of the Alliance will work together so that this Resolution may be endorsed before the end of autumn this year. I am sure that it will contribute highly positively to the task that is being developed by organs such as the Human Rights Council, the Economic and Social Council and, even, the Security Council. The dialogue of civilizations must become the mother tongue of the United Nations."

Make no mistake: this is just a formalizing of what has already taken place. All relevant UN organizations have already made entry points into the Alliance of Civilizations.

This resolution will essentially crown the Alliance queen. I expect in 2010 we will see the gathering together the “collective whole”. This is what the Gnostics refer to as the “world soul” which will become “one” with the earth (the goddess, the divine Sophia) and take her seat as the true bride of Christ. I tend to see her more as Bridezilla, the bride of the antichrist.

Tony Blair, David Miliband, and Javier Solana must be going through some anxiety-laden times right now. My suspicions are that Javier Solana does not really intend to retire, but time and events will tell. I have suspected that if he does retire that English Foreign Minister, 44 year old David Miliband will be his likely successor. I have also suspected that David Miliband lacks Javier Solana's experience to handle the military as well as the foreign policy aspects of the complex, powerful position that Javier Solana himself shaped. Now it appears that the English people themselves are in large part opposed to either Tony Blair or David Miliband ascending to powerful positions in the European Union. UN HEAD DEMANDS THAT JERUSALEM BE CAPITAL OF BOTH ISRAEL AND PALESTINE

According to a statement delivered by his emissary to a Middle Eastern audience, the current head of the United Nations insists that Jerusalem serve as a capital city for two countries: Israel and Palestinian Union.

Jerusalem is to be a center of holiness and sanctity for the entire world.

I am grateful to internet email correspondent Darrell Trees for directing my attention to this rapidly breaking news. You may read the entire UN statement delivered on Mr. BanKi Moon's behalf by Robert Serry. Serry is the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process. He is also Mr. Ban Ki Moon’s Personal Representative to the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian Authority.

In relevant part, his statement read:

For Muslims, Jews and Christians, for Israelis and Palestinians, and for peoples around the world, Jerusalem represents a place of faith and longing, a symbol of aspirations for nationhood, and a sacred space that must be open to all. As we are constantly reminded, events in Jerusalem can undermine trust on the ground and be felt in distant lands. It is for this reason that we must ensure that the holy city becomes a true symbol of peace, bringing people together and marking a new, more positive era for the whole region.

As has long been agreed between Israelis and the Palestinians, Jerusalem is a core issue that must be resolved through negotiations, along with all other core issues. The international community does not recognize Israel's annexation of East Jerusalem, which remains part of the occupied Palestinian territory subject to the terms of the Fourth Geneva Convention. If peace is to be achieved, the goal must be for Jerusalem to be the capital of two States living side-by-side in peace and security, with arrangements for the holy sites acceptable to all. This is the road to the fulfillment of both the vision of Security Council resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative, and the yearning for peace of people from all over the world.

Ugly pressures to Israel from changed USA stance, Goldstone report

Armageddon Script in Action?

A phrase from the Book of Daniel reads "and the end will come as a flood." It could not have meant a flood of waters. The true meaning of God's rainbow (not the New Age 'antahkarana -- the perverted 'rainbow) was that this would never happen again. I believe that meant that it would happen so fast, we might not know what really hit us.

Whether that is the case or not -- time and events will tell -- things are happening F - A - S - T!

The "Goldstone Report" by a commissioned UN investigator charges Israel with war crimes over the Gaza operation earlier this year. Israel was given a short period of time to conduct its own investigation. Israel is caught between this and a possible referral to the International Criminal Court. The USA, it appears, will no longer be defending Israel.

It is looking like their only remaining "friend" may be Javier Solana. He says he has done about all he can do. Looking at internet press coverage, we read:

But faced with the defense establishment’s uncompromising position that no officers or soldiers should be put in the line of fire of "any inquiry commission," Netanyahu did another turnabout on Sunday evening.

At a top-level meeting he again rejected an independent inquiry, announcing instead the setting-up of special panel "to counter" the Goldstone report by offering "recommendations for action on the legal, diplomatic, and political front."

The panel, headed by a close ally of Netanyahu, Justice Minister Yaakov Ne’eman, is also charged with looking into the army’s own internal investigations into alleged wrongdoing by troops during the war.

That’s hardly expected to relieve the international pressure.

U.S. President Barack Obama has declared that he trusts the Israeli legal system to conduct a proper investigation. With his twists and turns, Netanyahu is increasing doubts about Israel’s political system.

The prime minister may face another difficult encounter with the U.S. president when they meet again, as they are scheduled to do in Washington in a fortnight.

So far Netanyahu has even failed to advance his argument that there is a more urgent imperative than the "flawed" Goldstone recommendations – the need to alter the laws governing international warfare. Netanyahu insists that the existing laws of warfare are no longer applicable to "the contemporary reality of having to combat terrorist entities in asymmetric wars."

That he has fallen short of convincing his international interlocutors that this should be the basis for assessing the rights and wrongs of what happened in Gaza was made plain by the EU diplomacy and defense chief Javier Solana.

In an interview with the Tel Aviv daily Ha’aretz last Friday, Solana walked the thin line between those who advocate using the Goldstone report to put Israel in the dock and those who are wary of what damage this might do both to international efforts to contain terrorism and in advancing Israeli-Palestinian peacemaking.

"In yesterday’s world, there were wars of armies against armies, and there were laws and conventions that dealt with the conduct of such wars," Solana acknowledged. "It is necessary to invest thought in the changing situation in which it is difficult to implement the classic rules of war."

"But," Solana stressed, "until new rules are in place, we must obey the old ones."

So, Solana essentially says that since we are in new times we must have changed laws! Sounds like something I read somewhere in an ancient book. Given this predicament, it is becoming easier to see how somebody like Solana might look like a type of pseudo-Savior to a beleaguered and increasingly isolated country.

I hope I'm wrong.

CHURCH OF SWEDEN SAYS 'YES' TO GAY MARRIAGE

"They will call 'evil' good and good 'evil.'" It's disturbing enough when it happens elsewhere in our society, e.g. the State of Massachusetts, Vermont legalizing same sex marriage. Also, our USA President who campaigned saying he believed marriage should be between opposite sexes was recently quoted as saying same sex marriage deserved the same legitimacy and respect as opposite sex unions.

When it happens in a purportedly Christian church, the disturbing factor increases geometrically.

Such is the case with the Synod of the Lutheran Church of Sweden. Per The Local: Sweden's News in English it has now said "YES TO GAY MARRIAGE." You may read the whole sorry story by clicking here.

What's next? Loss of tax exempt status to USA and Canadian churches that refuse to hold same sex nuptials?

There's an old hymn: "How long Lord Jesus, how long, how long -- Till we sing the glad song, hallelujah, Christ returneth, hallelujah, amen."

Lately, it's been "a thrill a day" on apparent prophetic fulfillment. Judge Judy said the "old generation would have to die out" for same sex marriage to gain public approval to the extent she already expressed. If this keeps up, many of us will probably be indeed dead -- from heart attacks generated by the increasing shocks to sensibilities and mores that have existed for thousands of years.

"Mediterranean Summit Nixed"

Incentives are obviously growing for the European Union to cancel its responsibilities to Israel under its Treaty of Association as part of the reconfirmed Barcelona Process. This is also known as the European Neighbourhood Process. Saturday night I posted a story that this was an ominous threat. Today, it is reported as reality. "GLOBAL WARMING" HARMONICALLY CONVERGES WITH MAURICE STRONG GLOBAL SCAM

It's now appearing that "Food for Oil" wasn't the only scam global trotting New Age activist Maurice Strong was involved in. According to this story which Susanna forwarded me by Judy McLeod of the Canada Free Press and forensic researcher/writer David Hawkins, the carbon credits scheme was an even bigger one. Since the story is no longer on the front page of the Canada Free Press, I thought I would take the liberty of republishing it here. Since the Canada Free Press made one of my back News with Views articles on the same Mr. Strong a Sunday front page headline, I thought turn-about might be fair play.

Entity behind Kyoto conned public

(David Hawkins, Foundation Scholar-Cambridge University, and founder of the Citizen's Association of Forensic Economists at Hawks’ CAFE, and CFP investigative journalist Judi McLeod, have teamed up to write a series of articles on the UN’s radical socialist agenda executed across Intranets and virtual private networks, operated by the self-styled "Global Custodians". A new feature of Canada Free Press, the ongoing series combines McLeod’s investigative experience and communication skills with Hawkins’ brilliant research linking $40 trillion hedge funds, via an online portal on the 79^th floor of One World Trade Center, to "disruptive technologies" developed by Canada for alleged use in the UN Oil-for-Food scam, 9/11 and Kyoto fraud.) This is the fourth in the series.

We’ve all been had.

The bottom has long since fallen out of the key group that master-minded the Kyoto Protocol credit scheme, but nobody seemed to have joined the dots.

It all began with the flight of Canadian Maurice Strong’s Earth Council from Costa Rica as noted by the National Post’s Peter Foster in May, 2004.

With no fanfare, the Earth Council landed in CH2M Hill’s Consumer Road Toronto office towers.

The Costa Rican government has been pursuing the Earth Council for payment of U.S.$1.65 million, for the wrongful sale of a tract of land it imprudently donated to the Council. The land was donated to the Council by the Costa Rican government with the agreement that, if the Council moved, it would have to return the land.

It was in 1996 when Costa Rica granted the Council the land in question. All Hell broke loose when it was discovered that the Earth Council sold the land that was not theirs to sell in the first place.

"The government cried foul, and the Earth Council upped and departed the country, citing the drain of the legal fight." (Peter Foster, National Post).

Not only was the Earth Council forced to bunk up with CH2M Hill, their hasty departure from sunny Costa Rica also seriously impacted the University of Peace where Maurice Strong was a prominent CEO.

At last count, the University of Peace was destined to relocate to Toronto’s waterfront. Former Liberal MP Dennis Mills made a pre-federal election announcement with what he said was "the permission ofCanada’s Prime Minister Paul Martin".

About a year after the Earth Council hightailed it from Costa Rica, Strong set up offices just down the hall from those of UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, at UN Manhattan headquarters.

At that time, accountants for former Costa Rican President Jose Maria Figueros, were pursuing Strong.

The calendar moves ahead and now The US Attorney’s Office want to talk to Strong about oil-for-food, and he’s not in the best books of the Kekoldi Indians back in Costa Rica.

Incredibly, while Strong was organizing the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in June of 1992, in the same month of the same year, Costa Rica’s Ministry of Natural Resources were filing charges against Strong and his partner in Desarollos Ecologicos S.A., Julio Garcia for building the $35 million Villas del Caribe condo hotel on land located in the Kekoldi Indian Reservation and Gandoca-ManzanilloWildlife Refuge–without official permits. Strong’s son ran the luxury hotel.

But it is the carbon credits, devised for the Kyoto Accord that could be described as the biggest scam of all time that leads to the Canada Free Press lead, "We’ve been had".

The accord may have been engineered in Kyoto, Japan but it was manufactured in sunny Costa Rica.

The blueprint can be found in a May 9, 1997 Earth Council media release, First Global Environment Commodity Goes to Market.

It happened at Braulio Carillo National Park, Costa Rica and was launched by former U.S. President Bill Clinton.

Clinton welcomed Costa Rica’s launch of "the world’s first formal program to curb global warming through an international market in greenhouse gas emission reductions".

"President Clinton’s remarks followed an announcement by Costa Rican President Jose Maria Figueros that his country would be introducing Certifiable Tradable Offsets (CTOs TM) to the international market.

"Each issued CTO TM represents the halted or reduced emission into the atmosphere of one metric ton of carbon."

Like carnival hucksters, the Earth Council and friends were selling carbon credits that were the equivalent of thin air.

Proceeds from CTO TM sales would help finance Costa Rica’s further efforts to preserve and regenerate its tropical forests, with the specific intent of offsetting emissions from cars, industry and the burning of forests.

According to the Earth Council media release, "a portion of future sales proceeds will also go towards the development of an "Earth Centre" in Costa Rica. A project of the Earth Council, the Earth Centre will be an environmental, education, science and entertainment facility envisioned as a "gateway" to Costa Rica’s national parks."

How could this possibly be when the Earth Council took flight from Costa Rica?

"The carbon certificates created by the Costa Rican government and U.S. companies provide a new way to finance these investments," President Clinton said.

President Figueros saw the carbon certificate scheme as the creation of "the first tradable commodity of global benefit".

The CTO TM program was introduced to the market through a strategic alliance between Costa Rica’s government, the U.S-based Centre Financial Products Limited and the Earth Council.

"To initiate the market today, Centre Financial made the first U.S. purchase of CTOs TM in the amount of 1,000 metre tons of carbon (equaling the average carbon emissions of 900 U.S. cars," stated the Earth Council media release.

The CTO TM creators said their credibility would be ensured by "an independent certificate process being developed with technical assistance from the World Bank."

The Costa Rican office for Joint Implementation (OCIC) was working with Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS), a world leader in inspection, testing and verification, to "certify" the offsets.

Add to this mix, the entry of a Geneva-based entity called the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA), brought to the table by Strong and sponsored by the Earth Council.

The Association is touted as having become one of the first "truly independent international verifiers of company emission reports and carbon credits" and can actually issue certificates that can facilitate trading.

Already recruited by IETA are some 35 major companies, including BP, Shell, General Motors and Canada’s very own BC Hydro, previously called BC Electric before the utility’s alleged 1961 expropriation from its then-owner, Power Corporation of Montreal, and just one year before Maurice Strong entered stage left.

From 1962 to 1966, Strong served as the President of Power Corp., assisted by his young protégé, a lawyer named Paul Martin.

In the controversial Kyoto credit scheme, companies are given certificates to emit fixed amounts of specific chemical compounds when it’s never been proven that man-made global warming is a real phenomenon.

Government spy commissars would have to stand sentinel at smokestacks, similar to the one that sent white smoke from the Vatican announcing the emergence of Pope Benedict XV1. But the commissars’ job would be to monitor emissions so that offenders can be caught.

Companies have been sold a bill of goods by an entity that exited the country where the non-commodities of "credits" were devised. Today, the Earth Council of Kyoto fame is nothing more than a skeleton staff and a bunch of files in the Toronto offices of one of the world’s largest environmental companies.

Could it be that forensic researcher David Hawkins is right on the money when he says that what he calls the "Kyoto Kickback Kleptocracy" should be the number one issue in June’s expected Canadian federal election?
