Javier Solana still heads WEU as its Secretary General

I have received posts today from sources that I believe are sincere that believe that Javier Solana is no longer the Secretary General for the Western European Union. I suspect that there is confusion over the structure of the WEU which has a "Secretariat General" and a "Secretary General," to wit, our "very good friend," Javier Solana." Continued New Math and Solana disappearance

I decided to check on the "Javier Solana" http://www.google.com/ hits today. I first checked for hits in all languages. This should yield the most hits as it is supposed to be the sum of the total of all parts. He was up somewhat over the 215,000 he was yielding last week. In fact, per the google search, he had gained close to a million hits. Ok, so it was still a lot less than it had been, but then it was so much more relatively more than it had been. But were the counts showing the true picture? No!

Results 1 - 10 of about 1,840,000 English and French and German and Portuguese and Spanish pages for "Javier Solana". (0.11 seconds)

And for all languages?

Results 1 - 10 of about 1,140,000 for "Javier Solana". (0.15 seconds)

Obviously, although the mathematical difference is now somewhat less than when I wrote my column last week, it is obvious that the total here is obviously much less than the sum of its parts. Had I totaled all languages , it would have probably added another 400,000 to this total.

Why the undercount for Javier Solana on http://www.google.com/?

Interestingly, after I pointed out these google discrepancies, things started to "disappear" for me as well -- my Yahoo! Email. Perhaps that was a coincidence, perhaps not? The timing sure was interesting. Even more fascinating: it appears that somebody changed my wikipedia password. I discovered this when I went in to correct and edit the current article on Nieves Mathews. "Squeakbox," as editor, removed the references to her being the mother of Luis Solana and Javier Solana.

Javier Solana claims he knows how to "be invisible" when necessary. He is facing a controversial next few months preparatory to the full powers he hopes to assume when his hoped for Treaty of Lisbon takes full effect (assuming ratification) in 2009. Ireland is getting a referendum. The British Telegraph is campaigning for one; however, right now English Prime Minister Gordon Brown, doesn't seem willing to give them one.

Now, it appears that Solana may be making more than just himself invisible. He has been extremely closed mouth, at least publicly, about his parentage. When I first started following him, all November 1995 press said his GRANDFATHER, not his "Uncle" nor his "great uncle" was a famous Spanish writer and diplomat. I certainly did not pull "Salvador de Madariaga" out of a vacuum. In November and early December, 1995, the grandfatherly relationship between Solana and Salvador de Madariaga, a former Spanish ambassador to the USA, were widely and proudly reported.

Interestingly, I found Salvador de Madariaga in the appendix to my second book, A PLANNED DECEPTION: THE STAGING OF A NEW AGE MESSIAH. He was on the list of endorsers of PLANETARY CITIZENS. PLANETARY CITIZENS was organized by Donald Keys. Keys was, inter alia, a close friend of former Saturday Review editor Norman Cousins. Even more interesting, was Keys' former employment as an administrator of Lucis (Lucifer) Trust. According to a mid 1980's Magical Blend Magazine interview, Keys proudly claimed working closely with Alice and Foster Bailey there. His book claims "Djwhal Khul" (Alice Bailey's alleged Tibetan telepathic medium) as one of his personal mentors. When Mexico persecuted its Christians, starting with the Catholics, and then extending to all forms of Christianity, from 1926 to 1935, there were those who sought to keep her out of the League of Nations. It was Salvador de Madariaga's proclaimed advocacy for an understanding of those actions that resulted in Mexico being admitted to the League at the height of that carnage.

I initially learned of Nieves Mathews from Spanish correspondents who sent me pictures of Solana's wife and children as well as of his mother, Nieves Mathews. I then did my own google.com searches on her and ordered her book from http://www.amazon.com/. It was from the acknowledgements of her book that I learned that her "teacher" was Osho, better known to American audiences as "Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh."

Now, that was a potential embarrassment for Javier Solana, a very big one. Rajneesh/Osho was deported from the United States. He had lots of trouble finding a place he could go. He was very angry, per his "Autobiography of a Spiritually Incorrect Mystic" at his evident double-cross:

ON MARCH 14, Osho And his party are promised visas to Spain, but three days later they are refused on the basis of dossiers supplied by the American and German governments,,, On March 18, Osho's jet lands in Madrid and is surrounded by Guardia Civil while the Uruguayan consul stamps Uruguayan visas in the passports of Osho and his attendants . . ."

A few months ago, there were intense European debates about alleged secret extralegal Eastern European located camps within the geographical confines of the European Union. CIA agents allegedly secretly held Al Qaida and other terrorist suspects in those camps, illegal by European parliamentary standards and rules on transparency. A controversial report was released within the European Union parliament that alleged that Javier Solana was in the know about this practice. One of the serious allegations made was that visas were falsely stamped with countries other than the ones where they were actually confined.

Nieves de Madariaga Mathews (presumably a later life married name -- her father had literary associates with the same last name) was relatively early in her adult life the mother of two sons. If you read Italian, you may read that for yourself by clicking here. The Italian words "due figli" mean "two sons." Her sister, Salvador de Madariaga's only other daughter, Dr. Isabel de Madariaga, to the best of my present knowledge, was a full time academic professional, a Professor of Slavonic Studies, and although divorced, was childless. It is highly unlikely that Salvador de Madariaga would dote on a mere grandnephew, such as Javier, when he had two grandsons of his very own.

Why the secrecy on family ties? If it is to protect the security of one's loved ones, I can understand that. However, Javier Solana's son is very much in the public eye as a growingly respected Spanish intellectual properties lawyer; his daughter, likewise. We know about his wife and two children. The European Voice has reported since 1995 that the couple "called it quits" in early 1995 and that his wife would not be joining him in Brussels.

I notice that the new historical revisionism on Wikipedia came from Squeakbox. "Squeakbox," claims his great contributions to the world were (1) proving former Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie was God; and (2) proving Javier Solana was not the devil. Squeakbox has leaned over backwards with the help of an alleged Australian Christian collaborator, "One Salient Oversight" to delete anything from Solana's internet encyclopedic entries that would cause anybody to read anything of prophetic fulfillment in them, e.g. The Barcelona Process; the 10 Nation Western European Union; Recommendation 666; Section 666, etc.

I suspect that the same spirit which has led Squeakbox to proclaim "Haile Selassie" "God" has led him to his historical revisionism in the name of Javier Solana. I wonder what Javier Solana thinks.

Jumping over Ratification? Javier Solana is testing the waters!

The Lisbon Treaty, when ratified, will give Javier Solana most, if not all, of the powerful Foreign Minister powers he was to have received under the 2005 Holland/France rejected European Constitution. As things presently stand, only Irish citizens can look forward to having their democratic say about it. Breaking news from Telegraph.Co.UK, a leading British newspaper, is that Javier Solana is not waiting to put those powers, which include the establishment of his own diplomatic corps in effect. The Telegraph has been conducting a campaign to give British citizens a referendum on these expanded European Union powers over their lives.

It now appears that Dr. Solana and company are not waiting for treaty ratification to put their new anticipated powers into effect. He has appointed a European Union Ambassador to Africa. The newly named ambassador is Belgium's Koen Vervaeke. He will, per The Telegraph, represent both the Commission of the European Union and its 27 member nations.

Per The Telegraph:

The position is part of a diplomatic corps created under the treaty signed by Gordon Brown in Lisbon last week amid claims by Eurosceptics of a betrayal of Britain's national interests. Brussels chiefs have pressed ahead with Mr. Vervaeke's appointment before any countries have begun ratifying the treaty, which is scheduled to come into effect in 2009.

The Telegraph states the obvious. This is obviously a ploy to "test the waters."

Dr Charles Tannock, a Conservative Euro-MP and the party's foreign affairs spokesman at the European Parliament, said: "By appointing this man to Africa they are obviously testing the waters. This is the way things will work in the future. But until the treaty is ratified they have no mandate to set up anything like an EU diplomatic corps."

And what about the "chain of command" for the good Belgian ambassador? Quoting again from the important Telegraph article:

Under the treaty, there will be a powerful EU foreign minister, or "high representative", who will also service member states and the commission, deriving his power from what Brussels officials call a "double hat" arrangement. . . . Javier Solana, the Spaniard who heads the EU's fledgling foreign office, is tipped for the job, which will involve taking on more than 100 existing commission delegations around the world and turning them into a corps of diplomats.

Solana - No more Mr. Nice Guy?

JAVIER SOLANA: GETTING TOUGH? SHOWING TEETH AT LAST: "EUROPE IS UNDERGOING VITAL REFORMS"

It appears to this observer that we are about to see another side of Javier Solana--a sterner, terser one who will not hesitate to suppress opposition. A "google alert" tonight gave me a 'heads up' on a most significant and disturbing interview Javier Solana gave to People's Daily Online. A picture of the first page of that interview may be seen by clicking the picture to the left. The interview concerned the Europe that will exist both during the 27 nation ratification process and thereafter.

Solana noted that only Ireland will be permitted a referendum on the treaty. All other countries are expected to provide ratification by cooperating parliaments. Having a familiarity with legislative processes and how they tend to go when funding to individual states/countries are involved, the legislatures are certain to play ball -- or face unpleasant Brussels consequences.

Losing some of his hitherto diplomatic smoothness, Solana now speaks in near disparaging terms of the countries:

"Among the 27 member nations in the EU, there are both new members and old
members and ones of heavyweight or lightweight. Poland, a new, lightweight
member, once argued strongly for a revision of the EU voting rule that allocated
votes to each member in accordance with the square root of their population.
Afterward, it comprised and agreed to the idea of a "dual voting
system".Likewise, Czech, another new EU member, asked for more reversibility,
with which an EU member alone has the right to demand the EU commission to
withdraw a motion or bill. Such new member nations as Poland and Czech are so
resolute and rigid mainly because they feared that their weak political and
economic positions would be marginalized."

It should be noted that up until 10 critical days in November, 1995, Javier Solana was only one of many, many European cabinet ministers. He served at various times as Minister of Culture, Minister of Education, and Minister of Science for Spain before becoming its foreign minister right in time for the Rio de Janeiro Earth Summit in 1992.

Part of this new treaty includes strong military powers for an alleged "coalition of the willing." This structure is ominously named "Permanent Structured Cooperation."

I noted with concern back in the 1990's that Javier Solana was publicly stating in speeches that "the plan is to use NATO assets with European control of those assets."

He has achieved that goal. During his NATO tenure, he split the NATO command in two: the US portion to be headquartered at Norfolk, Virginia and the European one at Brussels. Solana, in charge of European military as well as European diplomacy, has long since been given a virtual blank check to use NATO assets. The NATO forces are clearly "double-hatted" with European Union (EU) ones.

In the late 1990s, as I viewed these trends with concern, I read a piece that has since disappeared from the internet from a British source, labeled "John Boyd, Secretary." He noted with alarm the rearming of Europe and drew obvious parallels with Hitler's remilitarizing Germany in the 1930s. He said that he did it at first by stealth and then openly.

It should be noted that Javier Solana was for many years on the USA's subversive list. It is totally incredible that he should have been handed the powers he has with this in his background. In 1999, he was handed unusual powers for a NATO Secretary General.

Boyd further noted Jacques Santer's stated goal of dislodging the USA as a major superpower in the 21st century struggle for increasingly scarce global resources. Boyd's warnings were prophetic. The European nations are obviously motivated to hand Solana powers to be the one voice speaking for Europe so they may equalize Europe with the USA on the world stage. Unfortunately, our present administration and war policies have given them plenty of ammunition.

Javier Solana upon first inspection reminds one of (1) Everybody's favorite uncle; (2) Everybody's favorite professor (which he, a physics professor, used to be) and/or (3) the most comfortable pair of old shoes in one's closet.

It appears to me that Javier Solana is approaching a potentially difficult Treaty of Lisbon ratification stage with little or no sense of humor. He has long since, under the Year 2000 Treaty of Nice possessed powers to convene the Council of the European Union "in the event of an emergency."

Let's hope the emergency does not happen. Let us hope my analysis is wrong. This is all getting just too eerie. A man whose present job was created with Section 666 of the Europa codified documents and who proposes through his ten permanent member Western European Union assembly emergency European powers for himself, now merging and blending with NATO "based on a classified exchange of letters between the EU's High Representative . . . Javier Solana and NATO's Secretary General George Robertson" [1]

It strikes me that no matter how deficient Javier Solana's religious training may have been, he should appreciate the deep and disturbing symbolism of 666 embodied in EU official documents for the year 1998, particularly when combined with 10 nation federations surreptitiously handing him power, such as was the case with the Western European Union in 1999. While the fiction has been maintained that it is only a shell, scholarly accounts more accurately tell the story: This was a revival, not a cessation of the Western European Union military alliance.[2] When he named his bill seeking emergency powers over Europe in the event of an 'emergency' Recommendation 666, it was probably no accident.

What is happening has amazing similarities to pictures painted years ago both in the biblical books of Daniel and Revelation. If the books sound alike, it is because as Pastor Ervin Baxter, Jr. is fond of saying: Same author, different secretaries.

Is the time at hand? Should we look for another? The times appeared to be near at hand when Hitler appeared. Hitler was not the man. Historical accounts well document that Hitler wanted to be "the man." Nevertheless, antichrist or not, Hitler, a wannabe, was most dangerous to Europe's health.

Clearly Javier Solana, so far, does not present the same intimidating presence that Hitler's old videos reveal. But then, there are old smiling videos of Hitler and his comrades graciously donating to charities, kissing babies, and mingling with crowds. Javier Solana has spoken of the European Union coalition as an achievement of peace. I am happy for Europe that they had the 50 years of relative peace (Balkans clearly excluded). However, if these virtually unchecked powers are put in the hand of one man, be he presently saint or sinner, Europe's long vacation -- as well as the rest of the world's -- could just about be over. Power acquired is not easily relinquished.

Equally clearly, Javier Solana has been handed vast amounts of power, has moved with little public recognition of his presence and/or growing powers, and is about to be given much more.

Is there any man on this earth that can be trusted with these levels of power and potential militarization under his control? It was Lord Acton who said, "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

Maybe Javier Solana is right (I doubt it) when he tells us that he never planned his life. Maybe he really does aspire to retire and write his along awaited book. But the powers he has been handed, the control he has been given over the NATO (1995); Yugoslavian bombing decisions (1999); the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the EU and now leading to a European "New Headline Goal 2010" have potentially apocalyptic overtones.

I sincerely hope I am wrong.

"Javier Solana's" actual hits by language are cumulatively 2,141,400 (two million, one hundred forty one thousand, four hundred). Hits for ALL LANGUAGES TOTAL per google are 218,000. This means that Google.com (or whoever) has understated "Javier Solana's" google hits by at least 1,923,400!

The first figure under each language group is the total for that language group. The next is the running balance.

Go figure! Google's totals don't!

Oh, and most interestingly, my yahoo.com email inbox was wiped out today. Sixty thousand unread messages were deleted (not including bulk mail). When I awakened and went to my computer at 3:15 a.m., all was well. I had given the password to nobody? Yahoo technical support had me change my password saying somebody had to have used it to wipe it out. Another strange coincidence. Who could it be? Who could it be? Oh well!

THE CONTRACTION AND CONVERGENCE OF JAVIER SOLANA?

ONE HALF HOUR AFTER LAST STORY, SOLANA UP TO 1.5 MILLION http://www.google.com/ HITS; NEXT DOWN TO 215,000 ONES! WHY THE ON LINE HIDING?

First picture, approximately 11:30 a.m. this morning from Yahoo search. SOLANA HAS 2,700,000 hits there with quotes around his name (over 7 million hits with the quotes removed) ; second picture, midnight last night from an office computer with only 218,000 http://www.google.com/ hits (approximate), December 8, 2007 and December 7, 2007, respectively in order of placement of pictures. Interestingly, http://www.ask.com/ has a higher hit count for Javier Solana now than even http://www.google.com/. Incredible!

WHY THE LOW COUNTS ON GOOGLE WHICH IS SUPPOSED TO BE ONE OF THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE OF SEARCH ENGINES? Is something happening here? What it is, is not exactly clear? This is paraphrasing a song popular in the 1960's!

JAVIER SOLANA: NOW YOU SEE A LOT OF HIM ON GOOGLE, NOW YOU DON'T!

Friends, as you know, I have researched Javier Solana since November 22, 1995. In that time I saw his internet publicity at practically zero and soar at peak since my watching to nearly 8 million hits. Most days he has close to 2 million google.com hits. There was BIG NEWS with Dr. Solana in the past few days with the adoption of the December 3, 2007 treaty provisions that gave him pretty much all of what Dr. Solana sought with the French/Dutch defeated EU constitution. The biggest news for me was the "Permanent Structured Cooperation" which definitely means the remilitarization of Europe, including but not limited to formerly dreaded German military machines.

Javier Solana loves media attention, but only when it does not interfere with his obviously larger global governance agenda.

Why has his www.google.com "Javier Solana" hits so suddenly decreased so that they have far fewer ones than much more insignificant sites such as www.ask.com? Why, suddenly, does he have fewer hits on www.google.com than on www.yahoo.com?

My educated guess is that Google has either had a terrible disaster and part of its data base has been wiped out, or MORE LIKELY, Google is managing news and public perception and helping Dr. Javier Solana hide until he is ready for full "emergence."

BEWARE OF GAIAM "SPIRITUAL CINEMA"

Spiritual Cinema is strictly a New Age production house. It focuses on themes of "all is God" and "all is interconnected." The latter is what Alice Bailey stressed in her EXTERNALISATION OF THE HIERARCHY that all must believe to accept their New Age "Christ" and "Masters of Wisdom."

Christian discernment of this has been at an all time low. Christianity Today long since shockingly assured the Christian community that Stephen Simon is safe for Christians and that his Spiritual Cinema is a proper source for good sound spiritual and family viewing. One wonders how much influence Doug Coe, Paul N. Temple, and Fellowship Foundation might have had in this particular editorial slant. Maybe, on the other hand, it was maybe the musings of a young, naive reporter and the failings of senior editors.

Spiritual Cinema has inter alia, circulated productions of The Celestine Prophecies and Neal Donald Walsch's "Conversations with God."

At any rate, their spiritual failings are bad enough. But their financial ones may be even worse.
To keep up with them, I needed a subscription. Under their contract they were to deduct from the credit card requried $25.95 per month after the first free month. I'm a very busy person, as many of of us. I don't always notice, but starting in August, I made the shocking discovery that they were sometimes taking this from my account 4 times per week! My bank worked with me to recover these charges. I have tried repeatedly, sometimes holding for up to an hour to reach them on the phone. All one receives are long hold recordings. Maybe their phones are this busy because they are doing it to all.

I just made the discovery that they are up to it again. They took $25.95 last week and another $25.95 today. I'm hoping it was merely a computer miscomputing error, but given the history that my name is pretty much to the New Agers as Madeline Murray O'Hair's was to Christians, it is reasonable to impute more to it. I hate to have to resort to pseudonyms to obtain documentation; but it is looking increasingly necessary.

Save your money. Save your soul. Do not give Spiritual Cinema your credit card information! Avoid "Spiritual Cinema" -- despite Christianity Today euphemistic claims, its productions are not safe for Christian viewing!

Thereafter I served among the college students with an organization called Inter Collegiate Prayer Fellowship (ICPF) for one year, and then completed my Master of Divinity degree from Asian Biblical Seminary in Kerala. I worked for six months with Gospel of Asia in New Delhi among the youth. Then I joined Global University, India, as the Office Manager and Director of Academics till July 2005. In July 2005, I married Lasha and moved to Pensacola, FL, to teach at Brownsville Revival School of Ministry, where my wife was a student. I taught there for two semesters before, due to unforeseen circumstances, the school closed down – but technically moved to Alexandria, LA. I moved with the school and taught at God Chasers International Ministry School with Tommy Tenney for one semester. In March 2007, God opened a door for us to move to Springfield, MO, with a desire to pursue my D.Min. program at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (AGTS). God willing I will be starting the program in 2008.In June 2006, my wife and I, along with my parents, decided to adopt children of our Native Missionaries and other tribal believers, who are extremely poor and unable to support their children’s education. Last year we took in 24 children – from ages 7 to 12. We brought them to the town where my parents live, gave them housing, food and educational opportunities. We were pleasantly surprised at how fast these kids learn. They had never heard a word in English language before we brought them in, and now they are among the top students in their English medium school. In India, we have Hindi medium (local) and English medium (private) schools. English medium schools are a luxury only people with money could afford. My parents, my wife and I get on our knees every month to support them. God is faithful! Presently they are living in a rented building with basic facilities – only one bathroom and toilet for 24 kids – but we believe God will make a way for us to have a Children’s Home building before the next academic year i.e., July 2008. He is able!My wife and I are currently working at Global University in Springfield, MO. We preach in different churches around the country as opportunities arise. MY 1995 PERSPECTIVE ON THE NEW WORLD RELIGION

THE NEW WORLD RELIGION?

Cleaning house and discovering my old papers and scribblings can sometimes be fun. I discovered the New Age Movement in 1981 and first started sounding alarms on it then. Between 1982 and 1989 it became my major occupation. In December, 1988, I returned to my former law practice, but still maintained my relentless examination of the New Age Movement and related religious apostasies. I noticed in 1994 that confusion, even among cult-watchers was growing. My now decesed good friend, , Liz Collins, urged me to compose a summary of what I then perceived. I did and gave it to her. I recently found a copy of it. I gave it to Liz Collins on December 12, 1994. That was when we were both busy fighting the Dr. Kevorkian/Euthanasia battles which are an important components of the "death and dying" ("Death, the Next Great Adventure") of the New Age Movement. I have decided to share it with NEWSWITHVIEWS.COM readers as well as my blogspot participants. Here it is and I will value your feedback. You are free to reprint it, but please give credit to its source, yours truly! Supplemental to , this is the concomitant development of a “global ethic” which is also being pursued by the New World Religion proponents, including but not limited to Dr. Hans Kung. Also to be considered are the obvious earth worship approaches being advanced to gain human consensus over “care for the Earth.” Also not as obvious to me when I wrote this was the increasing aggression of anti-clerical, atheistic forces, such as Richard Dawkins and Sam Harrison exemplify.

THE NEW WORLD RELIGION

1. New Agers believe recognition of cults and their dangers, spiritual hunger, and conflict in the human family. See Alice Ann Bailey, THE REAPPEARANCE OF THE CHRIST, Chapter 6, pages 147-155.

2. They will then explore religious facts we can AGREE upon.

3. The fact of GOD will be universally agreed upon.

4. “Karma” and semantic various upon it will be increasingly expressed. In western religion it will be based upon “Whatsoever a man soweth, that will he also reap. (Galatians 1:7). This may be alternatively expressed as “the law of cause and effect”; “The Law of Reciprocity” (Pat Robertson); “The Law of Rebirth,” depending on beginning religious orientation and the presentation and/or presenter, i.e. the target audience.

5. CONTINUITY OF REVELATION will be stressed. This should be carefully considered in view of Catholic debates over SOLA SCRIPTURA and Protestant presentations of “BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT” and/or “WORDS OF KNOWLEDGE.” Traditional careful tests of what is and what is not of God will be largely abandoned in hunger for “NEW REVELATION,” “SIGNS AND WONDERS, etc., abandoning past caution and careful caution of all such claims.

6. Doctrine of AVATARS or continuing “saviors” will be tied in with stress upon spiritual hunger of man and man’s reaching out to God. Supposedly, God will respond with new messengers.

7. Man will be given an expectancy that another great REVELATION is on its way from an all caring God.

8. This new REVELATION will prove the “truth” of the IMMANENCY OF GOD (“God within”).

9. We will also be told that God is TRANSCENDENT. This is so we will look outside for NEW REVELATION. People who restrict themselves to Biblical verification and/or consistency (God can speak anytime, anywhere, but internal consistency is a test of authenticity -- the Holy Spirit never contradicts himself) will be increasingly marginalized – inside and outside the Church.

10. A SCIENCE of prayer and worship will be stressed. Cf. CONCERTS OF PRAYER for Evangelicals; “Centering Prayer” and “Renewal” for Catholics, Lutherans and Episcopalians; TRIANGLES, “Meditation Groups”, etc., for New Agers groups and activities such as “Triangles,” Praying will rough this is a belief in the establishment of THE KINGDOME OF GOD ON EARTH as be done according to a FORMULA and/or “altered state” process.

11. Hovering all through this is a belief in the establishment of THE KINGDOM OF GOD ON EARTH as “GOD REALIZED” peoples manifest “Christ,” “God,” “The Holy Spirit,” or their various New Age “walk-ins” inside themselves as they increasingly absorb all of the above.

12. Astrology will be HARMONIZED with the Bible and “Bible Study.” Historical investigation will “reveal” that actually it is a “Godly ting.” Cf. Prophecies in stone, some Protestant teachings that actually astrology stood for the twelve apostles,” “12 tribes of Israel, etc.”

13. Throughout all of this the watchwords will be DIALOGUE and UNDERSTANDING. There will be presentations through CROSS CULTURAL MINISTRIES, and the Missionary Process itself will be largely subverted in the interests of liberty to teach to indigenous peoples by stressing commonality with the native religions rather than a simple presentation of the Gospel.

14. CONNECTEDNESS and GROUP EXERCISES to make people feel CONNECTED will be increasingly stressed. Sometimes this will be done to “promote righteousness. In the New Age, the only “sin” is to be “the sin of separation.” Cf. Promisekeepers, eastern religions rites, “Native American Spiritualities,” and small group processes.

Oprah and Friends" To Teach Course on New Age Christ

Oprah Winfrey will be letting out all the stops on her XM Satellite Radio program this coming year. Beginning January 1, 2008, “Oprah & Friends” will offer a year-long course on the New Age teachings of A Course in Miracles.1 A lesson a day throughout the year will completely cover the 365 lessons from the Course in Miracles “Workbook.” For example, Lesson #29 asks you to go through your day affirming that “God is in everything I see.”2 Lesson #61 tells each person to repeat the affirmation “I am the light of the world.”3 Lesson #70 teaches the student to say and believe “My salvation comes from me.”4
By the end of the year, “Oprah & Friends” listeners will have completed all of the lessons laid out in the Course in Miracles Workbook. Those who finish the Course will have a wholly redefined spiritual mindset—a New Age worldview that includes the belief that there is no sin, no evil, no devil, and that God is “in” everyone and everything. A Course in Miracles teaches its students to rethink everything they believe about God and life. The Course Workbook bluntly states: “This is a course in mind training”5 and is dedicated to “thought reversal.”6
Teaching A Course in Miracles will be Oprah’s longtime friend and special XM Satellite Radio reporter Marianne Williamson—who also happens to be one of today’s premier New Age leaders. She and Conversations with God author Neale Donald Walsch co-founded the American Renaissance Alliance in 1997, that later became the Global Renaissance Alliance of New Age leaders, that changed its name again in 2005 to the Peace Alliance. This Peace Alliance seeks to usher in an era of global peace founded on the principles of a New Age/New Spirituality that they are now referring to as a “civil rights movement for the soul.”7 They all agree that the principles of this New Age/New Spirituality are clearly articulated in A Course in Miracles—which is fast becoming the New Age Bible. So what is A Course in Miracles and what does it teach?
A Course in Miracles is allegedly “new revelation” from “Jesus” to help humanity work through these troubled times. This “Jesus”—who bears no doctrinal resemblance to the Bible’s Jesus Christ—began delivering his channeled teachings in 1965 to a Columbia University Professor of Medical Psychology by the name of Helen Schucman. One day Schucman heard an “inner voice” stating, “This is a course in miracles. Please take notes.”8 For seven years she diligently took spiritual dictation from this inner voice that described himself as “Jesus.” A Course in Miracles was quietly published in 1975 by the Foundation for Inner Peace. For many years “the Course” was an underground cult classic for New Age seekers who studied “the Course” individually, with friends, or in small study groups.
As a former New Age follower and devoted student of A Course in Miracles, I eventually discovered that the Course in Miracles was—in reality—the truth of the Bible turned upside down. Not having a true understanding of the Bible at the time of my involvement, I was led to believe that A Course in Miracles was “a gift from God” to help everyone understand the “real” meaning of the Bible and to help bring peace to the world. Little did I know that the New Age “Christ” and the New Age teachings of A Course in Miracles were everything the real Jesus Christ warned us to watch out for. In Matthew 24 Jesus warned about false teachers, false teachings and the false “Christs” who would pretend to be Him.
When I left the New Age “Christ” to follow the Bible’s Jesus Christ, I had come to understand that the “Jesus” of A Course in Miracles was a false “Christ,” and that his Course in Miracles was dangerously deceptive. Here are some quotes from the “Jesus” of A Course in Miracles:
“There is no sin. . . “9A “slain Christ has no meaning.”10“The journey to the cross should be the last ‘useless journey.’”11“Do not make the pathetic error of ‘clinging to the old rugged cross.’”12“The Name of Jesus Christ as such is but a symbol. . . . It is a symbol that is safely used as a replacement for the many names of all the gods to which you pray.”13“God is in everything I see.”14“The recognition of God is the recognition of yourself.”15“The oneness of the Creator and the creation is your wholeness, your sanity and your limitless power.”16“The Atonement is the final lesson he [man] need learn, for it teaches him that, never having sinned, he has no need of salvation.”17

Most Christians recognize that these teachings are the opposite of what the Bible teaches. In the Bible, Jesus Christ’s atoning death on the cross of Calvary was hardly a “useless journey.” His triumph on the cross provides salvation to all those who confess their sin, accept Him and follow Him as their Lord and Saviour. His victory on the cross rings throughout the New Testament. It has been gloriously sung about in beloved hymns through the ages and is at the heart of our Christian testimony. I found the Jesus of the Bible to be wholly believable as He taught God’s truth and warned about the spiritual deception that would come in His name. The “Jesus” of A Course in Miracles reveals himself to be an imposter when he blasphemes the true Jesus Christ by saying that a “slain Christ has no meaning” and that we are all “God” and that we are all “Christ.” It was by reading the Bible’s true teachings of Jesus Christ that I came to understand how deceived I had been by A Course in Miracles and my other New Age teachings.
I was introduced to A Course in Miracles by Dr. Gerald Jampolsky’s book Love is Letting Go of Fear. Jampolsky declared in his easy-to-read book how the teachings of A Course in Miracles had changed his life. As an ambassador for A Course in Miracles over the years, Jampolsky has been featured not only in New Age circles but at least twice on Robert Schuller’s Hour of Power. While Schuller introduced Jampolsky and his “fabulous”18 Course in Miracles-based books to his worldwide television audience, it was Marianne Williamson’s appearance on a 1992 Oprah Winfrey Show that really shook the rafters.
On that program, Oprah enthusiastically endorsed Williamson’s book, A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles. Oprah told her television audience that Williamson’s book about A Course in Miracles was one of her favorite books, and that she had already bought a thousand copies and would be handing them out to everyone in her studio audience. Oprah’s endorsement skyrocketed Williamson’s book about A Course in Miracles to the top of the New York Times bestseller list. Ironically, all of this was happening after I had left the Course and the New Age. In fact, I was doing the final editing on my book The Light That Was Dark that warned about the dangers of the New Age—and in particular A Course in Miracles.
After being introduced to the world on Oprah, Marianne Williamson has continued to grow in popularity and, as previously mentioned, has become one of today’s foremost New Age leaders. Williamson credits Winfrey for bringing her book about A Course in Miracles before the world: “For that, my deepest thanks to Oprah Winfrey. Her enthusiasm and generosity have given the book, and me, an audience we would never otherwise have had.”19 In her 2004 book, The Gift of Change, Williamson wrote: “Twenty years ago, I saw the guidance of the Course as key to changing one’s personal life; today, I see its guidance as key to changing the world. More than anything else, I see how deeply the two are connected.”20
Thus the New Age teachings of A Course in Miracles are about to be taught by Marianne Williamson to millions of listeners on Oprah’s XM Satellite Radio program. Listeners are encouraged to buy A Course in Miracles for the year-long course. An audio version of A Course in Miracles recited by Richard (John Boy Walton) Thomas is also available on compact disc. Popular author Wayne Dyer told his PBS television audience that the “brilliant writing” of A Course in Miracles would produce more peace in the world.21 Williamson’s New Age colleague, Neale Donald Walsch, said his “God” stated that “the era of the Single Saviour is over”22 and that he (“God”) was responsible for authoring the teachings of A Course in Miracles.23 Meanwhile, Gerald Jampolsky’s Course in Miracles-based book, Forgiveness, continues to be sold in Robert Schuller’s Crystal Cathedral bookstore as Schuller prepares to host a January 17-19, 2008, “Rethink Conference” at his Crystal Cathedral.24
At this critical time in the history of the world, the New Gospel/New Spirituality is coming right at the world and the church with its New Age teachings and its New Age Peace Plan. But this New Age Peace Plan has at its deceptive core the bottom-line teaching from A Course in Miracles that “we are all one” because God is “in” everyone and everything. But the Bible is clear that we are not God (Ezekiel 28:2; Hosea 11:9). And per Galatians 3:26-28, our only oneness is in Jesus Christ—not in ourselves as “God” and “Christ.” What Oprah and Marianne Williamson and the world will learn one day is that humanity’s only real and lasting peace is with the true Jesus Christ who is described and quoted in the Holy Bible (Romans 5:1).
Oprah Winfrey’s misplaced faith in Marianne Williamson and the New Age teachings of A Course in Miracles is a sure sign of the times. But an even surer sign of the times is that most Christians are not taking heed to what is happening in the world and in the church. We are not contending for the faith as the Bible admonishes us to do (Jude 3). It is time for all of our Purpose-Driven and Emerging church pastors to address the real issue of the day. Our true Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is being reinvented, redefined, and blasphemed right in front of our eyes and hardly anyone seems to notice or care. If we want the world to know who Jesus Christ is, we need to also warn them about who He is not. There is a false New Age “Christ” making huge inroads into the world and into the church. The Apostle Paul said that “it is a shame” we have to even talk about these things, but talk about them we must (Ephesians 5:12-16).
If people want to follow Oprah Winfrey and the New Age “Christ” of A Course in Miracles they certainly have that right. But let them be warned that the New Age “Christ” they are following is not the same Jesus Christ who is so clearly and authoritatively presented in the pages of the Bible.

Rethinking Robert Schuller

As a former New Age follower I could hardly believe it. On October 17, 2004, more than twenty years after his first appearance on the Hour of Power, New Age leader Gerald Jampolsky was once again Robert Schuller's featured guest. I was not surprised on one level because I had always been aware of Schuller's affection for New Age teachings. What did surprise me was Schuller's willingness to still be so openly aligned with a veteran New Age leader like Jampolsky.

I was very familiar with Gerald Jampolsky. When I was exploring New Age teachings he was the first one to introduce me to the New Age Christ and to the New Age/New Gospel teachings of A Course in Miracles. Widely reputed in New Age circles to be the closest thing to a New Age bible, A Course in Miracles taught me that "there is no sin,"1 "a slain Christ has no meaning,"2 and "the recognition of God is the recognition of yourself."3

On this Hour of Power program Schuller praised Jampolsky and recommended all of his "fabulous"4 books—in spite of the fact that every one of them was based on the New Age teachings of A Course in Miracles. He also stated that Jampolsky's latest book, Forgiveness, was available in the Crystal Cathedral bookstore. Amazingly, Robert Schuller had begun the year as a featured speaker at the annual convention of the National Association of Evangelicals. He was now closing the year by featuring a prominent New Age leader as his special guest. As usual, no one in Christian leadership was holding him accountable, or even seemed to care. Over the years Robert Schuller had obviously done a good job of softening up the church.

Schuller's latest move is to hold a "Rethink Conference" at his Crystal Cathedral. With an unusual mix of Christian and non-Christian speakers, the conference will take place January 17-19, 2008. He is co-hosting the conference with Emerging Church movement leader Erwin McManus. Schuller's "rethink" website states the purpose of the conference: "Our aim is to bring together a cross-section of the key leaders in today's culture so we can grapple with what's truly happening in our world."5

Among the thirty speakers lending their names and varying degrees of credibility to Robert Schuller's conference are Lee Strobel, Dan Kimball, Charles Colson, George Barna, Rupert Murdoch, George Herbert Walker Bush Sr., Larry King, and Rick Warren's wife Kay Warren. While Rick Warren has tried desperately to deny his spiritual ties to Schuller, his wife's presence at the conference speaks volumes.

Conference speaker Lee Strobel's recent book, The Real Jesus: A Journalist Investigates Current Attacks on the Identity of Christ, purports to expose today's deceptive false Christs, yet an in-depth discussion of the false New Age Christ is completely missing from his book. Meanwhile, apologist Strobel, a former Saddleback pastor, makes no apologies for aligning himself with New Age sympathizer Robert Schuller.

The Emerging Church also refuses to take the New Age seriously. Not surprisingly, two of its top leaders—Erwin McManus and Dan Kimball—agreed to participate in this Schuller "Rethink Conference." The word "rethink" can be found throughout Kimball's book The Emerging Church that was forewarded by Rick Warren and Brian McLaren. The word "rethink" can also be found throughout the books of other Emergent leaders, including Brian McLaren. So what is this "Rethink Conference" really about? What do Robert Schuller and "the forces that be" hope to accomplish?

In defining the word "rethink" Webster's states: "to think over again, with a view to changing." From my perspective as a former New Age follower, I believe that Robert Schuller's mission has always been to "rethink" and "change" biblical Christianity into something "new"—as in New Age/New Spirituality. There is a reason that New Age leader Neale Donald Walsch and his New Age "God" refer to Robert Schuller as an "extraordinary minister."6 There is a reason that Gerald Jampolsky and so many other New Age leaders go out of their way to praise Schuller. They know that Robert Schuller has always been open to spiritual compromise.

In fact, in his latest book, Don't Throw Away Tomorrow: Living God's Dream for Your Life, Schuller eagerly writes about the virtue of compromise. In this book, that bears New Age leader Gerald Jampolsky's endorsement on the back cover, Schuller states, "We need to learn the healing quality of wise compromise."7 He further states, "Perhaps the only way to deal with contradictions is to combine them creatively and produce something new. That's ingenious compromise."8 Whether Schuller knows it or not, he just presented the recipe for a New World Religion.

In Don't Throw Away Tomorrow: Living God's Dream for Your Life, Schuller uses the term "God's Dream" in the subtitle and within the book. He used the term "God's Dream" heavily in his 1982 book Self-Esteem: The New Reformation. Saddleback pastor Rick Warren used the Schuller term "God's Dream" to introduce his widely publicized global "P.E.A.C.E. Plan." He described his peace plan as "God's Dream for you—and the world."9 Brian McLaren, Bruce Wilkinson, Joel Osteen, Erwin McManus and a host of other Christian leaders also use the Schuller term "God's Dream." Why?

Although "God's Dream" is a Schulleresque term with no biblical foundation, it has become part of the vocabulary of the church's new emerging purpose-driven mindset. It is interesting that Rick Warren uses the Schuller term "God's Dream" to describe his peace plan. Is "God's Dream" suddenly becoming the metaphor for world peace? Will we be asked to "rethink" and "compromise" our faith for the good of the world? Will we be asked to "rethink" and "compromise" our faith to attain the world peace that is "God's Dream?" Is this Schuller-inspired conference designed to initiate this kind of "rethink" and "compromise" process? So what are we expected to "rethink"? What must we ultimately "compromise"? The answer lies within the New Age itself.

The New Age also has a "peace plan" and they are also calling for conferences like these. They insist that world peace will only occur when Christians abandon their "exclusive" and "divisive" relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.10 Neale Donald Walsch, speaking for his New Age "God," unequivocally states that "the era of the Single Savior is over."11 Yet at the same time, Walsch's "God" suggests that Robert Schuller could be instrumental in providing a bridge from the church to the peace and oneness of a New Spirituality.12 Is this New Spirituality where Robert Schuller and these kinds of conferences are ultimately headed? Time will tell. It is important to note that Neale Donald Walsch is not some obscure New Age leader. He is a bestselling author and highly regarded by his New Age peers. Just ask Gerald Jampolsky. It was Walsch who wrote the introduction to Forgiveness—the book that was so highly recommended by Robert Schuller on that 2004 Hour of Power program with Jampolsky.

In Revelation 2:2, Jesus Christ commends the church of Ephesus for exposing false teachers and driving them out of the church. Men like Robert Schuller wouldn't have lasted five minutes in Ephesus. And neither would those who continue to stand alongside Schuller giving him undeserved influence and credibility. The church does not need to "rethink" and "compromise" its God-given biblical doctrines to accommodate the world. It needs to rethink its willingness to follow worldly leaders like Robert Schuller.

Hallelujah! TheMicroEffect.com is back up and running

And we are honored to have Paul Walter, president of Walter Publishing Company and publisher of www.newswithviews.com join us as my guest today. My secretary showed me a book, THE COMING BATTLE: the true history of our national debt, written by M.W. Walbert in 1899. I said, "oh, Paul sent me his book." She said, "no, it was in your library for the past several years."

So, I invited Paul Walter on to talk about it. When I went to school in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in all my history classes, I was taught that one of the greatest struggles in the early days of the USA was over the pro's and con's of a national bank. I was also taught that William Jennings Bryan had said, "thou shalt not crucify mankind upon a cross of gold," and that had referred to his belief that a silver standard could also be used.

This book talks about the national bank struggles and the de-monetization of silver -- all struggles prior to 1899. I'm anxious to hear what Paul has to say about it and whether it is also relevant for our time and what lessons we can learn from it.

Maurice & Hanne Strong's Colorado New Age Commune

MAURICE AND HANNE STRONG'S "SACRED SITE"?

I received my latest copy of U. S. News & World Report. It was supposed to be about "Sacred Sites." Some, obviously, are not so sacred. I'm still doing my browsing, but I was more than a little startled to see the New Age community Crestone/Baca started and run by Hanne and Maurice Strong.

The Strong's are active with Lucis (Lucifer) Trust and I have written both for my blogspot readers and NewswithViews.com ones about their extremely deep involvement with the "Maitreya the Christ" crowd. I have also written about the "curious triangle" of former Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin, Maurice Strong, and Javier Solana.

Shirley MacLaine, another proponent of this whole awful scene is out and about, featured on many talk shows about her new book, "Sage-ing While Age-ing." Ms. MacLaine has a more than disturbing paragraph on pages 191-192 of her new book which I suspect reflects a growing broad consensus in the New Age community:

"There are those who feel we are into the 'Shift of the Ages' . . . The shift is supposed to occur somewhere between the 1980s and through 2012 . . . I feel all of this is happening now . . . Our solar system passes through this Photon Light particles every twenty-six thousand years. Apparently we entered this belt in the early 1980s and will be going through it for a thousand years . . . The photon energy frequencies accelerate everything. They accelerate understanding, awareness, self-knowledge . . . they also accelerate confusion, chaos, anger, and negativity. I believe that is what is accelerating. We are having a healing crisis. When that crisis subsides, I believe we will begin emotionally to feel that we are all one and that we are divine as well. Because of this crisis . . . karmic issues will be resolved. We will go through a healing process which will also be extremely painful because we will be detoxing . . .
". . . in effect, every twenty-six thousand years the build up of emotional and karmic toxins is cleared. . . I call it Karma-geddon. Instead of Armageddon, a Karma-geddon will be occurring which will be the resolution of all our karmic issues down through the ages. Therefore . . . the world will shed the old ways of living . . ."

I have long warned that the New Agers view monotheists as "cancerous cells on the global brain." Author Peter Russell and many others were delivering this line starting in the 1970s early 1980s that Shirley McLaine refers to. Too many purporting to warn the Christian community have told them far too often to go back to sleep, nothing's happening.

Folks, it is happening. It is here. We are looking, I fear, at a movement of mass possession. All the "meditation," "A Course in Miracles," Urantia, "House of Yahweh," Reiki, yoga, est, channeling, Silva Mind Control, Feldenkreis, earth reverencing movements, et al, etc., have done their work and those entering into altered states are receptive to the mindset exemplified. Paul Hawken has been singing the same songs along with David Spangler as long as I have been looking at the New Age Movement, since the early 1980s. He brags that this is a movement that nobody saw coming.

It is the exact same song the New Agers have been singing since the first Earth Day, 1970. The planet is overpopulated. "Christianity is a root cause of the problem." Too many alleged Christians have been delivering "amens" and helping the New Agers set up the very structures intended for our destruction under the guise of "Christian stewardship." They have meekly gone along with the game plan Jeremy Rifkin outlined in the 1970s in his THE EMERGING ORDER. Rifkin said then that only the religious impulse was strong enough to bring the New World Order into existence. He said that it was in the name and spirit of orthodoxy that it would be ushered in -- by Christians changing their theology from a "fall and dominion paradigm" to a "stewardship paradigm." Far too many Christians meekly said "amen" then. Far too many are saying it now.

I saw it coming and tried my best to sound clear alarms. It now is becoming downright dangerous, especially as the New Agers see their "photon belt" energies come in their perception of 2012. They feel, as Ms. MacLaine expresses, that they have been in that period since the 1980s.

It is my belief that God held things back long enough to get folks warned. One further warning: There is a clear spiritual line here that nobody must cross. It is set forth plainly in that book so hated by the New Age community, the Book of Revelation. It is contained in chapter 14:

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting [PLEASE NOTE IT IS NOT THE EVER CHANGING GOSPEL!] gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Folks, hold on to your spiritual seatbelts. Prepare for marginalization. Shirley MacLaine was right. It may well be painful. But to give in to forbidden marks and forbidden worship is worse. Our pain will endure for but a little while -- the fate of those crossing that forbidden line is permanent.

The stresses are coming at us now fast and furious. The UN has issued its report on "global warming." Now they are no longer singing their old New Age song of "Dialogue." CNN commentators were reporting as I watched today that those opposing their suppositions are no longer entitled to be part of the debate as we have "lost credibility." The Alliance of Civilizations, "Alliance of Civilisations" to our British dialect friends, is increasing speed with a major world conference coming in January. Daily we are bombarded with the propaganda as to that and as to draconian, potentially population starving measures to combat "global warming."

It's here. Be strong! "Joy cometh in the morning."

Israel's Foreign Minister Reportedly has "harsh words" for Solana

Breaking news from the Arutz Sheva Israeli news service is that Israeli foreign minister Tzipi Livni was deeply disappointed over Solana's failure to state he would seek additional sanctions against Iran for its atomic energy efforts.

Last week, Solana called for the development of an "international enrichment centre." My research later showed me that Russia had already signed an agreement to create an international enrichment center. Quoting from World Nuclear News:

Russia and Kazakhstan have signed an intergovernmental agreement to set up a joint uranium enrichment centre, a first step towards an internationalized nuclear fuel cycle and possible international nuclear fuel 'bank'. The bilateral agreement was signed by Sergei Kiriyenko, head of Russia's Federal Atomic Energy Agency (Rosatom), and Baktykozha Ezmukhambetov, Kazakhstan's mineral resources minister, in the presence of Russian and Kazakh presidents Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbayev. Kiriyenko noted that any country could join the project by signing a similar intergovernmental agreement, thereby securing access to uranium enrichment services and nuclear fuel. Several countries, including Armenia, have expressed interest in joining the project, and a preliminary protocol has already been signed with Ukraine. The plan to establish international enrichment centres would ensure security of supply of nuclear fuel for power plants without countries needing to establish their own fuel production facilities and the associated risks of enrichment technology being used for weapons programmes. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Russia agreed earlier this year to set up a working group on the proposal, and the security of supply issue is scheduled for discussion when the IAEA's Board of Governors meet in June.

I, for one, would like to know where Russia's plans fit with Solana's recent announcement. Javier Solana holds a doctorate in physics. It is difficult for me to believe he did not have prior knowledge of the Russian program!

Solana's "International Enrichment Centre"?

Javier Solana has made a new proposal that if successful would greatly increase his influence and control. It could also make him look like a global peacemaker.

He has proposed an "International Enrichment Centre" under "multilateral control" to take charge of nuclear enrichment so that all countries might take advantage of its cheaper energy while simultaneously reducing nuclear threats from "rogue nations."

"The only way of finding a lasting solution to these problems is. . .
by creating an international enrichment centre under multilateral
supervision. All states would have access to this enriched fuel on equal
terms and at competitive prices . . ."

UPDATE: I talked at length with Mr. Grosscup before the program without mentioning transhumanism to him. On the program, I decided to raise the subject. I was delighted to learn that he had studied it academically and because of his alarm at its ramifications, entered into his First Amendment advocacy work. I apologize for raising any unfounded suspicions and I am delighted to know that Mr. Grosscup is one of us! He gave our listeners some new and important information about Verichip and a partnership they are forming with the U.S. government to individually microchip and/or tag every animal for individual identification. MY FRIDAY GUEST IS AUTHOR WARREN SMITH AND WE WILL BE DISCUSSING BOTH THE NEW AGE MOVEMENT AND THE 'EMERGING CHURCH' AND WHERE IT IS GOING!

At Dr. Monteith's recommendation, I had invited Hope Marston to do last Friday's radio program on the use of the 911 crisis to abrogate American constitutional First Amendment Rights. Because of the Robert Kennedy speech that evening, I made a decision to reschedule and invited her to join me for tonight's (5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Time) program. She is traveling and unavailable. She suggested that Ben Grosscup, their regional director do the program instead. I said that would be fine and we are presumably on for tonight.

Googling my guest in preparation for tonight, I have every reason to suspect that tonight's show might be exciting beyond our wildest expectations. He is, it appears, either into or deeply studying the transhuman movement. See my column of July 16, 2007.

Since writing the initial part of this, I have had the opportunity to chat with Mr. Grosscup. We confined our discussion to the Patriot Act and its abuses which in fairness I had promised would be the major focus of the program tonight when I first set it up with Ms. Marston. He does have much to say of real importance about the serious diminishment of our civil liberties and the threat to us all from domestic spying. I will make that the primary focus of our program tonight and see if we can't get him back another time about the "transhuman movement."

It should, needless to say, be a most interesting hour. Stay tuned!

Busy week! I plan to re-record my radio program tomorrow. It will be fresh material. Tomorrow afternoon, I canceled other plans to go check out the latest the "Sustainable Development" folks are up to. They are bringing Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to Detroit to speak at Wayne State University to advocate same. My secretary managed to secure one of the free tickets for me and I am going to check it out. I will be writing on it over the weekend.

Author Warren Smith will be my internet radio guest on MY PERSPECTIVE a week from Friday at 2 p.m. Pacific time and 5 p.m. Eastern time. I am very much looking forward to this interview. We will be discussing the New Age Movement and its most recent incursions into the church, including but not limited to Robert Schuller's Crystal Cathedral and other mega churches.
