I have been informed by knowledgeable experts that most likely Josette Sheeran never truly left the Unification Church. When people do "apostatize" from it, usually Moonie websites have nothing kind to say about them. It is looking to me as though Josette Sheeran and affiliates are possibly very, very near to implementing Moon's goals of world food control. Further their power in the USA has increased and not decreased since Moon's death. I am the door of the sheep
Today’s passage begins with Jesus’ proclamation that he is “the door of the sheep.”
“The” points to his uniqueness as the only door of the sheep, a claim we will discuss in a moment. For now, let’s get his image clearly in our minds.
In the field, sheep were collected into hillside sheepfolds, open spaces enclosed by three walls like a triangle but open on one end. When the sheep were inside, the shepherd would lie across the opening and serve as the “door” of the sheep.
In the same way, our Lord describes himself as “the” door of the sheep. The only door. He adds: “All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them” (v. 8).
The brilliant New Testament scholar D. A. Carson notes: “The world still seeks its humanistic, political saviors.” Too late do we realize any alternative savior will only “kill, steal, and destroy” (The Pillar New Testament Commentary).
By contrast, Jesus asserts, “I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture” (v. 9).
His promise is unconditional: Anyone who trusts him as their Lord “will be saved” and will find divine provision. Jesus claims to be the only door the sheep can use to find eternal and abundant life. What is the logic behind Jesus’ claim to be the only door for the sheep, the only way to heaven?
Scripture declares, “God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
With all due respect to other world leaders, none of them claimed to die for those they served. The reason is simple: none of them were sinless. And only a sinless sacrifice could pay for our sins without needing to pay for his own.
Ask yourself: Do you look to other leaders or idols for salvation?
When things seem hopeless, do you put your trust in Jesus or other saviors?
Only Christ is worth following with everything we have, for he is the only real way to salvation; all others fail miserably.
Pray that you will have a renewed conviction to follow him as the only savior.
We have the technology now to connect the human brain into AI. There are those, Klaus Schwab, etc. who say they intend that for us. They intend this for us within the next 30 years, not 500 to 1000 years. I think Christine is sadly mistaken.

Reading 1 Thess 4:13-18 and 1 Thess 5:1-11--in chp 4 the coming of the Lord in the clouds (in the air) and then the Day of the Lord (the Rider on the white horse as in Rev 19) in chp 5--I see those 2 separate events both somewhat further explained in 2 Thess 2:1-12 in what I am seeing. So who/what holds back in the interim is still something I need to further investigate for myself.
I do welcome other viewpoints as I know I have several limitations to "get it" right now.
But I suspect we won't be waiting too much longer. I think things are much closer (as in our lifetime) to fulfillment than Christine's view.
The main thing is watching as Jesus said to do. Figuring it all out may come at the time of the actual reveal so I am staying tuned, as they say.

I believe we are at the beginning of increasing and stronger and stronger birth pangs as it says in Matt 24, Luke 21 and Mark 13. I hear people claim that there has 'never been a time such as this.' Whenever I hear that statement, I know that the speaker does not know history. You think that Christians are suffering persecution now? What about during the early church, when Christians were being hunted down, tortured, and fed to the lions for sport? I know you don't live in America. I've re-read my comment to you, and I don't know where you get the idea that I didn't know that, or why it's even important to anything I said. I'm American, but I lived in Europe in my teens. I have a different view of America because of it. I may not have ever said it here, but I often say that America is not the center of Biblical destiny. I also don't know why you think I'm imputing unholy political bias or leaning to you. I do know of Ray Comfort and The Way of the Master. I'm not sure what your point is.
The NAR came out of the Third Wave, church growth, and strategies for evangelization movements. It's always been global and not just centered on America. The NAR has a tremendous influence on the world wide church. Its leaders have aligned themselves with QAnon, Donald Trump/MAGA, Christian Nationalism, ReAwaken America - that is now all part of their 'gospel' message. In my circle of influence, I have pastor friends who have changed 180 degrees from what they used to be since identfying with MAGA. Friends and acquaintances who've never had any biblical instruction or desire for Christ in their life, went to Trump rally and came back 'Christian.' I have friends from school or former co-workers, etc. that I've shared the gospel with, prayed with, been there for their families when they've needed someone, but they have not yet surrendered to Christ. They're turned off by MAGA and the Christian right's message. So yeah, I do talk about it a lot. I go out of my way to let them know that I'm a Christian conservative with family values, but I don't agree with the politics. They respect me for it. If I didn't do that, I would have no credibility with them. There's really not an anti-Trump QAnon movement. It would be helpful if there was.

Then it was the Russian Revolution and Lenin, then WW II and Mussolini, and then Hitler, and then Stalin, and then Mao, and then Brezhnev, and then Gorbachev, and even Reagan & Obama. Our own Constance even had Javier Solana as her favorite pick. On and on it goes, and when these theories all fall flat and are proven wrong, the followers just change the scenario a little and continue right on with their theories.
But you know what? It's great business for the prophecy hucksters such as Hal Lindsey and the LaHays. There's nothing like a new prophetic book or movie to make lots and lots of money.

I defended Grant when somebody put words in his mouth (as if he had stated a woman needed to repent for being raped by Trump). If I see somebody who has stuck out his neck with his real identity and I see him being misrepresented, I take it more seriously than a troll getting under anonymous commenters' skins with childish insults.
When you think about it, Constance has also stuck her neck out with her real identity, and she has been misrepresented far more frequently. Have you ever defended her from the repeated and grossly inaccurate charge that she has always been on the left? Have you ever called out the troll who is always calling her a death cult Pharisee gnat strainer cult leader? Luciferian?
No? Well, I trust you have your reasons and you don't need to explain or defend them to me. Maybe you think Constance and the troll are adults who can work out their own communication. Because I familiarize myself with everything he really said, before I read the headlines and articles about one little thing he said that is quoted out of context, I can spot the deliberate misrepresentations quite easily.

I read the Bible.
I did read HDOTR and it was telling me I was seeing what I thought I was seeing (just in more detail).
Nobody has it all down. Nobody has it all right, and many may be more wrong than they know at this point. That goes for us, and Constance, too.
But that does not ban people to hell or something if they or I have made mistakes with Bible topics, or prophecy. I just pray people get the Gospel right more than any other topic.
Take it or leave it and pray to know from the Lord's Spirit who promises to be our Guide when we seek Him, not people.

My take on prophecy experts, or more correctly, students, is, it doesn't hurt to keep a look-out. Who knows maybe some evil has been defeated by these prophecy students.
PS I grew up in a household that was subscribed to 'The Plain Truth' and when my father died I send 10 percent of my cash inheritance to Hal Lindsey in my father's honor but after that he came to me in a dream and said '___ you can become a Catholic now'. See, he was iconoclastically anti-catholic, who knew how I felt, smashing my old plaster and wood mirrored crucifix and whacking my all ready missing an arm Saint Francis figurine with his cane.

When I first became a Christ follower, I uncritically accepted the pretrib rapture. I kept hearing it on local Christian radio, with no one saying anything to the contrary. But I kept studying and saw that it does not work. (And I think you are of the same mind re pretrib rapture, if I’m correct.)

This is what the pretrib rapture enthusiasts do. Given the overall context(s), I think they are wrong.
And I can understand anyone not fully following what I wrote. I did my best to make it readable to the layperson, but some of the grammar is a bit tricky. Moreover, I hardly expect anyone besides language specialists (even English) to recall such terms as “accusative”, “direct object”, “transitive”, “intransitive”. However, in the earlier parts to the series I (re)introduced those terms and others as they apply to the subject passage. My intent was to start out slow (in the Introduction), and then increase difficulty from there.
In other words, I definitely don’t expect a reader to grasp all I’m saying in one reading. It took me YEARS to put this together! Piece by piece.

Yes, Craig. I once followed a pre-trib idea on the word of my pastors at the time, I had a lot of growing to do as a believer then, but it was my own study, of many passages of the Bible, OT and NT, that seemed to me to put a more cohesive timeline together, led me away from it.
What I am certain of is believers in Jesus Christ are not destined to be here when the wrath of God falls down upon the entire world because we have a Marriage Supper to attend! That takes place in the verses of Rev 19 preceding the Rider on the white horse going down to defeat the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies.
I am keeping an open mind about such taking into account that the plain things are the main things to focus on (and obey for walking out my faith in the Lord) and the hidden (to us at present) things have a reveal coming on God's terms and timing, not mine.

A new report states categorically that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) was not hacked by Russians–or anyone else–as frequently alleged by the mainstream media, liberal intelligentsia and anti-Trump politicians.
The Nation‘s Patrick Lawrence wrote a lengthy review of the findings made by various computer experts formerly with the NSA. Published this week, the left-wing magazine’s report notes two bases for their conclusion: (1) hard science shows that a remote hack of the DNC servers resulting in the breach that actually occurred would have been technologically impossible; (2) forensic review of the initial Guccifer 2.0 documents proves that they are poorly-disguised cut-and-paste jobs–forgeries–intended to finger Russia.
Lawrence, by way of the experts’ findings, concludes that the so-called “hack” was actually an inside job by someone with internal access to the DNC’s computer network. In other words, the DNC has (or had) a leak.

Faithful America is an online activist organization begun by the National Council of Churches of Christ to advocate for progressive issues and social justice. It has been supported financially over the years by George Soros. It aspires to be the 'Christian version' of MoveOn.org.
So, thousands of Christians demanding ban of Pro-Trump event is not what it appears to be.

After a long time in process, Russia has implemented a law banning gender reassignment surgeries, which also includes legislation barring transgenders from adopting children.
President Vladimir Putin signed the new law into effect Monday, making attempts to "change sex" via surgical procedures or other medical interventions like hormones illegal.
The law prevents "medical interventions aimed at changing the sex of a person" and makes "the state registration of a change of gender without an operation" illegal. This means a person's gender cannot be changed on legal documents such as birth records, as is happening in some instances in the West.

"Nice" is an almost meaningless word. Ann Barnhardt would have made herself more clear if she had railed against "tolerance" or "political correctness" or "enabling." Had she railed against these things I expect she would have found few Christians disagreeing with her outside of the most progressive churches.
Had she railed against being "enabling," I suspect she would have found almost nobody disagreeing with her, including in the secular and Christian worlds. Had she railed against "enabling sin," progressive Christians would have agreed along with conservative Christians, but each group would have had different ideas of the worst sins.
In fact, the only people I have ever known who have been exactly like Ann Barnhardt describes are the most deeply affected New Agers, who have been infused with a bastardized version of their own that the got from Eastern thinking such that they can claim that everything is good (other than being intolerant, of course). Not even shallow New Agers are like this.
Furthermore, Communists are not "nice." It's ridiculous to claim that the way in which Communists have ruined Christianity and ruined Western civilization is through "niceness."

We keep being told that injury to the heart from the COVID vaccine is very rare, but a study done in Basel Switzerland indicates that the rate of subclinical myocarditis after the COVID vaccine is hardly rare at all.
In fact, in a study with only 777 participants with a median age of 37--all medical professionals getting the COVID vaccine–the incidence of elevated cardiac enzymes 3 days after injection was pretty substantial, at almost 3%.
The CDC did a study and from that, they claimed the rate was 0.001%, or one out of 100,000.
2.8% is a lot higher than 0.001%. Another 0.3% had “probable myocarditis,” putting the total at over 3%. That is 3000 times higher than the US government claimed.
In this small study, nobody had serious complications, but with a myocarditis complication rate of 3%, you would have to expect that giving out hundreds of millions of doses is a pretty risky proposition.

I already debunked that story last night after Nurse Campbell tried to make a big deal out of it.
"Vaccines are supposed to simulate an infection and immune response like, but not as dangerous as, a real covid infection.
A super sensitive test on vaccinated persons seems to reveal or pick up a signal of more MILD heart “injury” in vaccinated persons than other studies which only revealed more serious heart injury picked up by medical intervention. The conclusions are not comparable. They didn't perform such test on a control group of unvaccinated persons (Tropimin levels could be high for many reasons) nor were covid infected people tested, who, we and the authors agree would likely also test with much higher Tropimin levels. Covid infections have been demonstrated again and again to cause way more heart damage in degree and percentages so a higher sensitive test would surely show a lot more serious injury.
Here’s some old criticism of this research when it was originally presented at a conference downplaying its actual significance.

In John 16:33, Jesus said that “[i]n the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” In the 20 centuries since our Lord spoke these haunting yet hopeful words, they’ve proven true. In fact, in terms of absolute numbers, we live in the worst period of persecution against Christians in history. More Christians died for their faith in the 20th century than the previous 19 combined, and the 21st century is shaping up to be at least as deadly, but likely more.
According to Open Doors International’s latest World Watch List, 312 million Christians face “extreme” or “very high” levels of persecution—1 in 5 in Africa; 2 in 5 in Asia. Last year was the worst year on record for persecution, with 5,500 Christians killed for reasons related to their faith, more than 2,000 churches attacked, and over 4,500 Christians detained or imprisoned. For the most part, each year of the past decade has been worse than the previous year.
Writing of the persecutions that plagued God’s people in the early days of Christianity, Tertullian claimed that “the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church.” Though particularly intense persecution has, at times, led to a decrease in overall Church numbers, the Church has grown far beyond the wildest imagination of Jesus’ first followers. Stories of the faithful who endured persecution and faced martyrdom have been a catalyst for that growth.
In 1563, historian John Foxe told many of the earliest stories in a book that would become one of the most widely read works in the English language. Foxe’s Book of Martyrs chronicles hundreds of Christians who gave their lives or were persecuted for their faith from the New Testament all the way to his day. Through generations of expansions and editions, it became an indispensable classic.
Foxe’s Book of Martyrs was written from a Protestant perspective and, almost 50 years older than the King James Bible, is a challenging read. Recently, a pair of daring authors took up Foxe’s mantle to tell the stories of the martyrs afresh for modern readers. In The New Book of Christian Martyrs, Johnnie Moore and Dr. Jerry Pattengale of Indiana Wesleyan University offer accounts of heroes of the faith from the first to the 21st centuries.
Written in a fast-paced and richly informative style, with reference to important historical sources, Moore and Pattengale make cultural connections and frequently quote Foxe’s best “vintage” passages about the martyrs. Throughout, they seem constantly aware that they are writing to a Christian Church vastly larger, more global, and by some measures more persecuted than it was in Foxe’s day.
Dr. Pattengale joined Shane Morris on a recent Upstream podcast to talk about The New Book of Christian Martyrs. He covered a number of stories from the book in the episode and connected the ancient martyrs to modern victims of persecution.
Perpetua and Felicita were two newly converted and young Christian mothers who were killed in the arena at Carthage in 203. At the time, Perpetua, a noblewoman, was nursing her newborn. Despite entreaties by her friends and family, Perpetua and Felicita refused to denounce Christ or worship the emperor.
Perpetua’s diary was likely preserved by Tertullian, who tells how, on the day of her execution, she and her companions faced leopards, wild boars, and a raging bull. Perpetua was eventually gored and tossed across the arena but took the time to fix her hair before soldiers finished her off. As Tertullian reports, she did so because “it was not becoming for a martyr to suffer with disheveled hair, lest she should appear to be mourning in her glory.”
Eighteen centuries later, in February 2015, 21 Coptic Christians displayed a similar dignity as they prepared to meet Christ from a beach in Syria. Pattengale and Moore compare their orange jumpsuits to the jerseys of a sports team, ready to leave it all on the field for their Captain. In the moment before their masked executioners beheaded them, the Coptic 21 sang a line from the hymn, “Ya Rabbi Yassu,”—“my Lord Jesus.”
Thanks to an Islamic State propaganda video, millions witnessed their martyrdom. As the book notes, ISIS’s objective “backfired” when the video galvanized the world against their cause and became a source of pride and celebration for Coptic Christians. In the words of Revelation, the world saw 21 young men conquer “by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.”
In a time when our brothers and sisters face more persecution than ever, the stories from across times and cultures told in The New Book of Christian Martyrs will inform your faith and your prayers. As Tertullian and Foxe believed, such stories can fuel the growth of a Church whose Lord overcame the world and will ultimately grant rest from all persecution.

Miss Barnhardt states a few good, intelligent insights but sprinkles in some ridiculous and self-aggrandizing statements. I read a lot of "I" statements from her but not a lot about Jesus.
Boldness for the sake of righteousness is a good thing, and although she is a tiny woman, the weak can be strong in Christ Jesus.
I liked her basic orientation toward Israel and Jews.
I understand her appeal, and I don't think it's terrible that you love her, but I see a few temptations and pitfalls about her. She is proud and boastful.
An internet search reveals most of Bernhardt's distractors have ceased whatever and folded, and in my book she has credence for being the first American Catholic to call the Ratzinger resignation for it was, or wasn't (over my pay grade) - :

Joe Biden's claim was during a street interview when asked if some Chinese partner paid money to his, Joe Biden's family. Of course they didn't pay Joe and of course he didn't know about it if Hunter got anything. Joe knew his son had issues. His decades of experience in Washington surely had him steering clear of any involvement in Hunter's shenanigans. Hunter, like Trump's kids and many other relatives of Presidents, traded on his family name pretending he could peddle influence on behalf of others. Hunter couldn't and didn't.
