I think Trump has showed us repeatedly who he is. He can't take no for an answer whether from women or from voters.

I started reading Bad Moon Rising. It quickly became apparent after just fifteen minutes of reading that the Reverend Moon's Moonie cult may be small but the financial and political reach of his business and media empire is enormous.
The Unification Church's financial empire functioned as an ATM for the right.
Moon believed the UN would be a way to "do God's will" (actually Moon's will) by ushering in a theocracy and a one world religion.
Please think about the implications of both of those things being true at the same time.
How likely do you think it is for a politician to be deeply compromised by Moon money and still oppose UN agendas?

How does it defend Trump.

The soil of bitterness is a heart that harbors hostility and does not deal with hurt by the grace of God. When someone becomes bitter, the bitterness takes root in the heart and grows deeper.
The world is full of people who have not dealt with an old hurt. They look for things to criticize, people to find fault with, and ways to justify the way they feel. Have you ever seen people who are hypercritical? Generally, they are bitter people. They know how to push your hot buttons until you react in a way to further justify their bitterness. Then, they can say, "Aha! I was right. I have a right to be bitter."
The Eradication Of Bitterness - How to Get Rid of the Root?
There are three steps to eradicating bitterness:
1. Let God Reveal It. Sometimes people say, "I know my heart, there's no bitterness in me." Truth of the matter is you don't know your heart. God's Word tells us, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9). A deceitful heart cannot diagnose a deceitful heart. You need to let God the Holy Spirit do radical surgery.
2. Let Grace Reveal It. A response of bitterness is never right when someone has done something wrong to you. You need to ask God to forgive you, and He will by His grace. If someone has wronged you, cut it down and forget it. By the grace of God, bury that hurt in the grave of God's forgetfulness. Justice is God giving us what we deserve, mercy is God not giving us what we deserve, grace is God giving us what we don't deserve.
3. Let Good Replace It. Hebrews 12:14 says, "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord." You cannot be holy unless you follow peace with men. It is so worth it when you forgive. But, you say, "Look what they've done! I am not going to let them off the hook." Well, they are not on the hook - you are! When you forgive, you set two people free and one of them is yourself.
You will discover that your life is more joyful when you uproot your bitterness. If God gave us justice, every person reading this would die and go to hell. Thank God for His mercy that removes His hand of punishment from us. Praise God for His grace that gives us a brand new life!

I still loved what Grant wrote, and it spoke to something that I felt from the Holy Spirit immediately after praying several days ago.

Perhaps there is some bitterness in virtually everyone? People deal with hurts, and suffering in different ways. I don't think Constance's issues with 'Trump Worshipers'(in her view), is foundationed in 'bitterness', but rather in vain tradition.
Constance has mentioned advice, obviously important to her, given to her by her grandmother, and that "her mother didn't raise a dummy". That, and her nearly life long membership in the left, and her career in legal wrangling, has formed a very strong and delusional 'legal secular opinion' in her, that Trumps, to perhaps a large degree, that 'still small voice' of Wisdom?

BREAKING: The Guardian is reporting that Fani Willis has enough evidence to charge racketeering in the Trump investigation.
Racketeering is a charge used often to go after organized crime such as mob-related crimes. It requires that there is the existence of an “enterprise” and multiple “qualifying” crimes. According to the report, Willis will target multiple violations of statutes related to computer trespass, and influencing witnesses.
A violation of “Computer Trespass” statutes occurs when someone “uses a computer or network without authority to delete, alter, or otherwise interfere with a computer program or computer data.”
This would likely be regarding a breach of voting machines in Coffee County, Georgia by individuals paid by Sidney Powell.
Indictments are expected to be sought during the first two weeks of August.

I am the light of the world
Today, let’s look at Jesus’ second “I Am” claim: “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world” (John 9:5).
As our text opens, Jesus “saw a man blind from birth” (v. 1). This man’s infirmity meant that he could not be healed by first-century medicine. He needed not a physician but a miracle.
Jesus’ disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” (vs. 2).
In the misguided theology of their day, every physical illness had a spiritual cause. If this man was born blind, someone sinned. The options were binary—either him or his parents.
Jesus challenged their incorrect theology: “It is not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him” (v. 3).
Some suffering is the result of sin, but that was not the case here. Much of the world’s grief and pain is not directly the result of anyone’s sin or failure. God did not cause this man’s blindness, but he used it: “that the works of God might be displayed in him.”
Our Lord redeems all he allows, something Jesus demonstrated powerfully in this man’s life. His redemption shows the brilliance of the light that he shines in the world.
Then Jesus brought us into the narrative: “We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming when no one can work” (v. 4).
“We must” points to the imperative of what Jesus calls us to do.
“Night is coming” shows its urgency.
Our “work” is to share the true light our dark world so desperately needs: “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world” (v. 5). Here, Jesus repeats God’s holy personal name, “I Am.”
“The” points to the fact that he is the world's only light. All else is darkness.
For example, the prophet Isaiah heard from God about Christ, “I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth” (Isaiah 49:6).
Now Jesus calls us to reflect his light to our dark world (Matthew 5:14–16).
So, our text teaches that Jesus is the light our dark world needs. He is the light of salvation, wisdom, direction, and purpose. Our job is to reflect his light to others, so they may see our works and praise our Father in heaven. Those in the dark need to see the light. And it’s our privilege and responsibility to share it with all we can, however we can.
Notably, the once-blind man later worshipped Jesus, who allows it—a blasphemous thing if he were not God, the “Son of Man” (vv. 35–39).
Now it’s our turn.
Will you pray by name for a lost person you know?
Will you ask Jesus to shine his light through your life?
Who will be in heaven because of the light of Jesus that you reflected in the world?
Ask the Lord to help you step into the light and then share it with others.

Donald Trump implies that his MAGA supporters will carry out another violent insurrection or perhaps even terrorist attacks if Special Counsel Jack Smith try to put him in jail.
During an interview with right-wing hack Doug Wagner, Trump was asked if he's concerned about the possibility of Smith locking him up for his crimes.
"I think it’s a very dangerous thing to even talk about because we do have a tremendously passionate group of voters, much more passion than they had in 2020 and much more passion than they had in 2016," said Trump.
The implication could not be more clear. By "passionate" he really means "willing to use violence." By saying that they have "much more passion" than they did in 2020, he's saying that the next insurrection will be even worse than Jan. 6th.
This is where the Republican Party has gotten us. We are now so far into the gutter that their leading candidate for president is threatening to unleash bloodshed if he's held accountable for his crimes in a court of law.
We will not be intimidated. Donald Trump belongs in prison. If his supporters resort to violence to try to stop that, the Justice Department will lock every single one of them up like they did with the Capitol insurrectionists.
