Trump says U.S. to exit landmark nuclear arms pact, Russia threatens retaliation
ELKO, Nev/MOSCOW (Reuters) - President Donald Trump said Washington would withdraw from a landmark Cold War-era treaty that eliminated nuclear missiles from Europe because Russia was violating the pact, triggering a warning of retaliatory measures from Moscow.
The Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, negotiated by then-President Ronald Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev in 1987, required elimination of short-range and intermediate-range nuclear and conventional missiles by both countries.

Early this morning ABC national radio reported that the migrant caravan that is marching towards our border is made up "largely of women clinging to their children." The reporter went on to say that President Trump has “threatened” that the caravan will be "met by the U. S. Military." I've spent some time looking at videos, photographs, etc. of this caravan and haven't been able to spot more than a couple of women and only two children in one photograph! I don't know who to ally with anymore. The Christian right is full of people who have drunk the Trump Kool Aid, just as they drank the George W. Bush Kool Aid before. I almost don't care who wins anymore. I'm starting to hope that the worst people on both sides expose each other to the maximum and as many people as possible see that they are both morally bankrupt. The website had previously released 2,500 internal Open Society Foundation (OSF) documents in order to “shed light on one of the most influential networks operating worldwide.” OSF is one of Soros’ networks of organizations.

DCLEAKS WEBSITE DOWN, TWITTER SUSPENDED AFTER RELEASING SOROS DOCS
DCLeaks, a website that releases information on powerful political figures, has had part of its website taken offline after releasing a cache of documents on billionaire donor George Soros. The @DCLeaks Twitter account has also been suspended from Twitter for reasons unknown.
The website had previously released 2,500 internal Open Society Foundation (OSF) documents in order to “shed light on one of the most influential networks operating worldwide.” OSF is one of Soros’ networks of organizations.
The leaked documents had resulted in several damaging reports about the organization. OSF had previously confirmed that the documents were legitimate.
Before the website went offline, an OSF spokesperson had called the leaks “a symptom of an aggressive assault on civil society and human rights activists that is taking place globally” in a statement released to The Daily Caller.

I've been left somewhat confused in the aftermath of the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings and the election cycle spin. Although I supported Kavanagh's confirmation and encouraged my senator to do so as well -- some of the rhetoric swirling around has not been sitting right with me. Something has been bothering me.
Paul Ryan put some words to my inchoate thoughts and feelings when he said recently that Trump supporters have adopted Alinksy style politics of identity, tribal politics, for themselves. Suddenly I realized my conundrum. I had left behind Leftist politics only to walk into a world of my supposed allies who simultaneously critiqued and reverse engineered it for their own weaponization. Paul Ryan may be wrong about a lot of things, but a stopped clock is right twice a day. I know he's right about what he said about that.
Since that time, I've been having feminist stirrings that I had not felt for some time; believing as I did for a while -- naively -- that nobody is really sexist anymore except the Taliban and a few cult leaders.

First Peter 4:10 tells us that we are to employ all the gifts that we are given for the good of the Church, and 1 Corinthians 14:12 goes even further and tells believers to excel in their gifts. The talents and gifts of women are not supposed to be buried, and the very best that women have to offer is most certainly not to be a given only to the secular world.
I remember the moment in February 2014 when I realized that I simply no longer believed what I had once believed. Alone in my room, I said out loud, “God, I believe that you see me as an equal to my brothers in my being and in my function in your Kingdom,” and all of a sudden I was sobbing on the floor as God himself began erasing my unrecognized fear and belief that he is a cruel God.
I knew beyond all doubt that he had created me precisely as he had intended, and that he wanted all of me, not just the parts that complementarianism told me were good. As God’s creation, I was declared very good, even the parts that speak authoritatively and lead fearlessly. Now that I actually believed this, my transformation was complete.
