Merkel says EU can no longer rely on others -- Prophetic significance?

Donald Trump has just returned from his visits to Saudi Arabia, Israel, Palestinian Union leaders, the Vatican, and lastly NATO.  It is no understatement to say that things are in turmoil both home and abroad.  Reading about European reactions to his trip, it is another night when I wish that Herb Peters were still here to discuss what he called "".

Angela Merkel has said that it is now clear that Europe can no longer rely on others and must take events into its own hands.

The ten toes of Daniel immediately come to my mind.  Some were strong, some were weak.  Some were clay, some were iron.  They "would not cleave together."  However, ultimately, per the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation events would bring them together and work to eliminate some that would even be pulled up by their roots.  Which ones?  We could be possibly viewing the fulfillment of those prophecies with recent European events.

It is not new for demands to be made that Europe take matters into its own hands.  Javier Solana has long called for the consolidation of European military facilities into one shared operation.  He did this repeatedly during his long tenures as head of NATO, then head of the Western European Union (a military federation), Secretary General of the European Union (1999 to 2010), and "High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union (1999 to 2010).

In his "retirement" which appears to be as busy as his long-time official EU tenure, if not more so, he has continued to issue these calls and head critical EU military exploration operations.  In 2015 he issued widely circulated "wake calls" for a common European Union defense union.   He made that call from Berlin at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation where he went to present the CEP-FES report "More Union in European Defence,

Interestingly, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation's (in Germany called Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung) operations and interests do not appear to be purely European.  A Google search shows a broad international, global governance scope of its operations.  Such a search shows that it has a Washington, D.C. address of 1023 15th Street, NW.  It also shows a USA phone number of 202-408-5444.  It also shows offices in Ottawa, the capital city of Canada.

The USA based Brookings Institution, of which Javier Solana is also a Fellow recently released a list of Javier Solana's publications, book contributions, and articles.  You may access it by clicking here,  Given that the Brookings Institution is headed by former World Federalist head Strobe Talbott, it is more than fair to say that their interests are also global governance.

As regards the Friedrich Stiftung report delivered by Solana to the Berlin audience in 2015, it was the report of a CEPS (Centre for European Policy Studies) task force chaired by Javier Solana.  Interestingly, the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (Germany) was one of the sources of funding for the 1995 Commission on Global Governance Report:  Our Global Neighbourhood (page 376).  The person credited with bringing the parties together to form that commission which included Maurice Strong was Willy Brandt (1913-1992), a former Chancellor of Germany (1968 to 1974) and leader of the Social Democratic Party of Germany from 1964 to 1987.   Brandt also served as Mayor of Berlin for 9 years from 1957 to 1966.

I have always listened carefully when I heard the name Willy Brandt because Benjamin Creme made frequent laudatory mention of him in the November 4, 1981 speech I witnessed Creme making at the Unity Center for Holistic Living of Detroit's Unity Church.  Creme was so very confident that the "Maitreya" appearance was near because of Willy Brandt's then ongoing advocacy for global unification..

Creme's first book, THE REAPPEARANCE OF THE CHRIST, had similar laudatory language about Willy Brandt (page 250):

This information not only confirms that unique events are taking
place in the world. but aJso emphasizes, once again, that changes
must occur naturally through the actions of man himself. Maitreya
and the Masters can direct spiritual energies to stimulate the development
of all manner of plans, but it is up to man to react - and act.
How concrete these reactions already are, can be deduced,
amongst other things, from a report of the North-South Commission,
of which 18 well known politicians under the chairmanship of
the former West German Chancellor Herr Willy Brandt, are a part.
Edward Heath, the former Prime Minister of Great Britain, and
Olof Palme of Sweden, are members of this Commission.
Maitreya's submission, that the world has only two choices,
sharing or total destruction, is dramatically underlined by the
Commission. The title of the Brandt report, "A Program for Survival,"
makes that quite clear. . . .
The German connection and the Willy Brandt origins are interesting.  Also making laudatory comments about Willy Brandt and his work leading to the formation of the Commission on Global Governance was former Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev in his 1987 book PERESTROIKA (page 206).  Gorbachev's later book MANIFESTO FOR THE EARTH (2006) was even more militantly world government cum "Global Governance."

According to Maitreya evangelist and former State Department official author Wayne Peterson in his 2003 book Extraordinary Times, Extraordinary Beings:

There was one individual, however, who made it clear he had no
problem with the public knowing he had met the Christ. His name was
Mikhail Gorbachev. Since he was now out of political power in his
country, I assume he felt he had nothing to fear or lose from such a disclosure.
I was not surprised to learn this about Mr. Gorbachev, since I had
heard much earlier of his involvement with Maitreya from a Pentagon
official. I had also heard, from people I place much confidence in, that
Mrs. Gorbachev had been to India several times to see the Avatar Sai
Baba. I find it interesting that the international press never questioned
Mr. Gorbachev more about his spiritual beliefs, since both he and his
wife became Christians during his term in office. From the freedom and
openness he introduced to the Soviet Union, it appeared obvious to me
that he was being influenced by the Christ. Eventually, we will hear
more of this story and how the Soviet empire collapsed. (page 100)
It is my present belief that what may be coming together is what I earlier wrote for this blogspot and for NewswithViews -- that this may well be a fulfillment or attempted fulfillment of the prophecy that 10 kings would come together and share power with the Beast for one hour -- a very short period of time, Biblically speaking where a day represents a year and 1260 days represents 3 1/2 years.

Writing this, I took another peek at current news stories and found this startling headline:  Is President Trump pushing Merkel to create a German Superpower?

To the New Agers I have long observed and studied, "crisis = opportunity".  Could this be the crisis that triggers their window of global governance opportunity?  Who knows?

Stay tuned!

The controversial portions of the Solana panel presentation was over "Permanent Structured Cooperation" making some EU countries in effect "more equal" than others. It is also called "Enhanced Cooperation" and here is the Wikipedia definition of that:

In the European Union (EU), enhanced cooperation is a procedure where a minimum of nine EU member states are allowed to establish advanced integration or cooperation in an area within EU structures but without the other members being involved.[1] As of February 2013 this procedure is being used in the fields of divorce law[2] and patents,[3][4] property regimes of international couples and is approved for the field of a financial transaction tax.[5]

This is distinct from the EU opt-out, that is a form of cooperation between EU members within EU structures, where it is allowed for a limited number of states to refrain from participation (e.g. EMU, Schengen Area). It is further distinct from Mechanism for Cooperation and Verification and permanent acquis suspensions, whose lifting is conditional on meeting certain benchmarks by the affected member states.

Lead prosecutor in Debbie Wasserman Schultz / DNC voter fraud case found dead in suspicious circumstances. Why isn’t this getting more news coverage?

Fed prosecutor investigating visa fraud cases found dead on beach in Wasserman Schultz’s district

A federal prosecutor from the U.S. attorney’s office in Miami who happened to be investigating voter fraud has been found dead along a Hollywood Florida beach, and it’s being investigated as a homicide.

According to Hollywood police spokeswoman Miranda Grossman, although the “investigation is still very preliminary,” 37-year-old Beranton J. Whisenant Jr. likely suffered a head wound from a gunshot or other direct trauma. His body was found by a passerby washed up on the Hollywood beach shore south of Magnolia Terrace. It isn’t clear where the victim actually died.

For now, the FBI’s Miami office is referring all questions related to Whisenant’s death to Hollywood police, but if the death is found to be retaliatory or related to a case Whisenant was working on, standard procedure would mean the FBI and U.S. attorney’s office aggressively working together on the case.

News spread quickly on social media that Whisenant was involved in a recent fraud probe involving the DNC, though none of the news reports mentioned that as fact.

Excerpts from an article entitled The Rise And Fall of the Anitchrist are presented below.

"The Bible teaches that in the end times, right before the return of Jesus, the greatest political leader in the history of Mankind will emerge from Europe. After taking over that area by diplomatic cunning and deceit, he will launch a military campaign that will result in his acquiring “authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation” (Revelation 13:7). His empire will be the most extensive in all of history, encompassing the entire world,.."

"One of the myths about the Antichrist that has developed in modern day interpretation is that the whole world will become so enamored with him that all the nations will surrender their sovereignty to him voluntarily. The Bible does not teach this. It is also contrary to common sense. Africa and Asia and Latin America have not spent a century casting off European colonialism in order to suddenly turn around and receive a European dictator with open arms."

The invasion and occupation of Africa's, Asia's and Latin America's indigenous people's homelands (as well as other indigenous people's areas of the world) by European Christian colonists - who were directed to do so by their Old Testament God - is one of the most evil human rights violations in the history of human race.

A MN county newspaper recently published a letter of mine on this topic. If anyone is interested in my letter. It can be found at

Constance, I think you are right on the money. Trump is fuel to the EU's defense engine. It is most definitely, all in the name of "peace and security", the false peace and safety the Bible forewarned about.

Merkel Has Behaved Irresponsibly’

....“Given that Germany has been freeriding on American military spending, it is a little cheeky to blame the US for being an unreliable ally,” Rachman continued. He also cautioned Merkel from taking such a confrontational posture with the U.K. particularly in light of coming trade negotiations between the U.K. and the European Union throughout the Brexit process....

Let us never forget that between 1939 and 1941, Hitler and Stalin entered into an alliance known as the non aggression pact.

....And alliance indeed it was. For Hitler, the pact provided a guarantee that he could invade first Poland, then France and most of the rest of western Europe, without having to worry about any threat from the east. For Stalin, it allowed a breathing space in which to build up armed forces that had been severely damaged by the purges of the previous years, as his botched invasion of Finland showed. It also gave him the chance to expand the Soviet Union to include parts of the old Russian empire of pre-revolutionary times. Moorhouse is right, therefore, to insist that for Stalin the pact was not merely defensive, though he goes too far when he claims it was a golden opportunity for the Soviet leader "to set the world-historical forces" of revolution in motion. After a decade of "socialism in one country", he was not going to do that.

The pact eventually extended to the economic sphere, with Germany providing military equipment in exchange for raw materials such as oil, grain, iron and phosphates. Moorhouse sensibly discounts claims that these made a decisive economic difference to Germany or provided the Soviet Union with a crucial military advantage, though the statistics he quotes of German arms and equipment reaching Soviet factories are impressive, and Soviet deliveries of oil to the fuel-starved Germans were not without their effect. Shockingly, Stalin also handed back a substantial number of German communists who had taken refuge in the Soviet Union after the Nazi seizure of power; some of them, arrested during the purges, were taken directly from the Soviet Gulag to a German concentration camp more....

I think it might behove the non globalist Western "powers that be" to keep a close eye on the relationship between Merkel and Putin. They are the leaders of two of the most powerful countries in the world. They both grew up in communist states and they both had their careers transformed by its collapse. Merkel speaks Russian, having grown up in communist East Germany, and Putin speaks German, from his years working for the KGB in Dresden in the 1980s.

Interestingly, about a year ago, the Guardian published an article to the effect that Russia is ‘stoking refugee unrest in Germany to topple Angela Merkel.’ So far, Merkel has supported the sanctions against Russia resulting from Russia's encroachments into the Crimea and Ukraine. However, one has to wonder if Merkel is really as much in favor of the sanctions against Russia as she claims to be - especially in light of hers and the EU's threats of sanctions against Poland for refusing to allow refugees to flood into their country. Just wondering.

"Africa and Asia and Latin America have not spent a century casting off European colonialism in order to suddenly turn around and receive a European dictator with open arms."

Oh, but they have and they do, Mr. Dahlheimer! The Son of Perdition, as the Bible refers to such an individual (often referred to nowadays as 'the Antichrist ((in the Holy Bible, all who reject and refuse to truly follow Jesus Christ in obedience and love are called 'antichrist'))), is a title given to not one individual but to the succession of Roman Catholic 'Popes' through the ages! Futurism is an invention of the Jesuits, initiated as part of the Counter-Reformation, and mainstream Protestantism did not accept nor disseminate such a Futurist interpretation of eschatology until towards the end of the 19th Century, therefore such does not adhere to the Biblical tradition of the free Church for century after century until then. The true Church such as certainly the Waldenses from the Ten Hundreds (before that was the Dark Ages) held to the Historicist interpretation of eschatology, as did Calvin, Tyndale, and other reformers right up until the rot set in towards the end of the 19th Century. The Seventieth Week in Daniel refers to the Messiah, Jesus Christ, and was always seen so, likewise, until towards the end of the 19th Century!

As the Holy Bible tells us, the Antichrist spirit was already at work in New Testament times. There will be no Third Temple built by human hands before Jesus Christ's return, the Holy Bible doesn't prophesy such. Moreover, any such Third Temple would be a an abomination in itself and desolate from the beginning because it would be a denial of Jesus Christ's finished Work on the cross!

So, much of the World is already primed to accept in even greater numbers the Son of Perdition and his Whore of Babylon establishment. The Jesuits are already in power across the World now, working behind the scenes of the US Government, the EU and more. They will cause World war to happen through pitting the West versus Islam, as they are already doing, in order to cause Global economic collapse, and get people to accept a One World Government (even in umbrella form), then bring in their system of economic control, through RFID technology, yet one would only have access to such if an allegiance to Rome in some form is declared, without which, they will not be able to buy or sell. We truly are in the End-times and much of prophecy has already been fulfilled right from New Testament times up until now, there is still some yet to be fulfilled, and when it is, the Whole World will marvel after the Beast system, including the continents you mention! Only those saved by the Lamb Who was slain because they have accepted Him and obey Him, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, will refuse to bow down to Rome.

Anon. 11:18, and Constance,

"Trump is fuel to the EU's defense engine."

So maybe I'm missing something obvious here, but what is the "crisis" that the EU and Merkel is responding to? Is it Trump himself or his policies? That would seem to be what the articles are saying. If that's the "crisis" in their eyes, then the EU is both blind and stupid.

The real crisis is the invasion of Europe by Islam, which the EU itself (and especially Merkel, what an idiot!) has made possible. That invasion is proceeding along quite rapidly here in the US as well.

Everywhere in the world it seems, the real dangers to civilization are ignored, while the ones who would protect and keep civilization strong are attacked. That is what political correctness has done to us. If we don't completely and emphatically reject political correctness right now, we are toast. Burnt toast.

To borrow the phrase from Constance's first book title, the age of barbarism is no longer coming, it's here.

Susanna (1:06 PM),

The following is from “concerndcitizen”, who commented on that post, and I offer it as is:

The following answer to why Seth Rich was killed has been bumped to the top again because it is important

I am posting this exactly as I got it.
The answer to why Seth Rich was killed, and why he gave to Wikileaks is now out.

Seth Rich was responsible for an internet application that helped voters find their polling stations.

He discovered that Hillary had set up bogus polling places that were not on the official record. Hillary then had DNC staffers merge the results from both sets of polling places, keeping the actual number of voters officially recorded at the legitimate polling station the same while the actual ballots that went to Bernie and represented those numbers were swapped out for her.
Seth Rich was appalled by the corruption, and as a result, dumped to Wikileaks.

This answer has been out there since July 21 of 2016 and it rotted until it was recently discovered in a private E-mail.

This was sent to me "as written by Claudia Kash, the girlfriend of Seth Rich," people have sent corrections saying Claudia Kash was the recipient of the mail. This was written shortly after Seth was killed. The answer has been out there since the beginning.

"There were two sets of polling places this primary season - one set for most of the voters, who went on state web sites to find their polling locations, and a second set for Hillary Clinton supporters who looked on Hillary clinton's website to find their polling location. The secretary of state for each state had one set of locations on the record, the other set of locations, the ones listed on Hillary's website were not on the state record. I know this because I looked on her website to find where a friend should vote, then double checked the state website, which showed a different address. I thought there must be a mistake - I kept checking right up to election day. But until they killed Seth Rich, I couldn't figure out why there would be two different polling places. This is how I think the scam worked: While most voters look up their location on their state website, voters who were signed up as Hillary Clinton supporters would be directed to her site to find their polling place. It was set up the same as any other DNC polling place - with DNC volunteers, regular voting machines etc - and a duplicate voter roster, the same as the roster at the other polling place. Voters would be checked off on the roster, same as at the other polling place, and after the polls colsed, the DNC supervisor would pick up the roster and the ballots.

The supervisor would then pick up the roster at the legitimate polling place and the ballots there. He (or she) would then replace a number of Bernie Sanders ballots with an equal number of the ballots from the Hillary Clinton voting location. Then the duplicate roster from the HRC would be shredded and thrown away, along with all the Bernie Sanders ballots that had been replaced. That way the number of people who voted on the remaining roster still matches the number of ballots. This is why so many states reported a "lower than expected voter turnout". Seth Rich, who was responsible for the app that helped voters find their polling places did not realize there were two sets of polling places until he himself went to vote. He lived in Washington DC, which voted at the end of the primary season, a week after Clinton had already been declared the winner. I believe he discovered it then and had started asking questions about why the polling places on Hillary's web site didn't match the ones on the DC web site.

But even if he didn't say a word to anybody, it would have been dangerous to let him live. He would have figured it out sooner or later, and he would have reported it when he did.

The following videos feature former KGB Yuri Bezmenov (Tomas Schuman). This first one is from 1984 (excerpted below), the latter 1983. Both are scarily prophetic.

Yuri Bezmenov: Deception Was My Job (Complete)

This is G. Edward Griffin's shocking video interview, Soviet Subversion of the Free-World Press (1984), where he interviews ex-KGB officer and Soviet defector Yuri Bezmenov who decided to openly reveal KGB's subversive tactics against western society as a whole.

Bezmenov explains how Jewish Marxist ideology is destabilizing the economy and purposefully pushing the U.S. into numerous crises so that a "Big Brother" tyranny can be put into place in Washington, how most Americans don't even realize that they are under attack, and that normal parliamentary procedures will not alter the federal government's direction.

He then explains how Marxist leaders use informers to make lists of anti-Communist and other politically incorrect people who they want to execute once they - actually a Jewish oligarchy - come to power. The oligarch's secret lists include "civil rights" activists and idealistically-minded "useful idiot" leftists as well.

Bezmenov provides several real world examples of how Marxist leaders even execute and/or imprison each other. Also he explains how American embassy employees were known to betray Soviets attempting to defect, how there existed a "triangle of hate" in the Soviet government, why he realized that Marxism-Leninism was a murderous doctrine, and how the CIA ignored (or didn't care) about Communist subversion.

He also mentions that revolutions throughout history are never the result of a majority movement, but of a small dedicated and highly-organized group who seize power, whether for good or bad. Next he explains how the American mass media spread lies about life in the Soviet Union.

Bezmenov also explains how the LOOK magazine article falsely claimed that the Russian people were proud of their victory in the Second World War, where in reality the Judeo-Bolshevik-Communist-Marxist government was happy that Hitler had been defeated so that they could remain in power.

Find out how the KGB utilized various individuals to undermine the Western society in its morals and values.

Destablization leads to crisis: Yuri Bezmenov: Sleepers Emerge and Messiah Appears. It seems we are not too far from this.

FBI memo shows murdered Seth Rich’s laptop contained DNC emails

Joe Biggs is a US Army Retired Staff Sergeant who was a reporter for InfoWars, but is now a Texas-based independent journalist and a contributor to the blog BAM (Borderland Alternative Media).

Biggs was given by an FBI source a fascinating FBI memo that, though heavily redacted, strongly suggests Democratic National Committee (DNC) staffer Seth Rich indeed was the whistleblower who provided thousands of damaging DNC emails to WikiLeaks, among which are emails showing the DNC deliberately undermined Bernie Sanders’ campaign to favor Hillary Clinton.

Below are the highlights of the heavily redacted document:

-The memo was dated July 15, 2016, five days after Seth Rich was shot on Sunday morning at about 4:19 am in the residential Columbia Heights area of Washington, DC.
- The memo made mention of “DC police” gaining “custody” of Seth Rich’s laptop computer (“scr laptop”).
- The memo said “data obtained” from the laptop included “detailed DNC” “emails”.
- The memo made mention of “Wikileaks”.

“In a time of deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”

― George Orwell

Sadly, most Americans are (IMO) the most ill-informed, intellectually lazy people on earth. They take everything on face value and question nothing re: history, religion, politics, etc.

The fact that our WW 2 "ally" Stalin was a ruthless DICTATOR that invaded Poland, along with the Balkan nations of Lithuania, Estonia, Yugoslavia, along with Finland, etc. But OUR history only paints Hitler as the "evil aggressor." Also, Stalin was the 2nd. worst mass murderer in history (1st. was Mao) likewise means nothing. In reality, he made the evil Hitler look like a boy scout.

I'm currently reading President Herbert Hoover's "Freedom Betrayed: The Secret History of World War 2." Being a former President, Hoover had numerous, well placed sources within the government, and around the world. He reveals FDR's secret plan to get the USA involved in WW 2, in spite of his rhetoric that "your boys will NOT FIGHT IN ANY EUROPEAN WAR." Who was the greatest beneficiary of WW 2? By far it was Stalin's USSR, which went on to brutally occupy the very eastern European nations that the allies fought to liberate!

PS: I watched Griffin's interview of Yuri Bezmenov a few years ago and found it to be highly credible. Thanks for posting it ... I will watch it again.

Great care must be taken not to identify the religion of Judaism or any other religion with Liberalism, Marxism and Communism.

Rush Limbaugh discussed this fairly recently on his program when talking about certain radical leftist politicians who present themselves as "Jewish." While many of these people may be ethnically Jewish/Hebrew, their "religion" is not Judaism. It is Liberalism, Marxism, Communism.

This situation is not exclusive to Judaism either. Nowadays we have several instances of radical political ideologies masquerading as religion. "Liberation Theology" is Marxism masquerading as Christianity. Islamo-fascism is a political ideology masquerading as Islam. Disguising a political ideology as a religion is one aspect of what has come to be known as "Cultural Marxism." It involves infiltrating a legitimate cultural institution or religion and "transforming" its language and symbols in such a way as to make it conform to the Marxist worldview.

Cultural Marxism was imported into the United States via the Frankfurt School which established its centers at Columbia, Princeton, Brandeis, and California at Berkeley after fleeing Nazi Germany.

.....By the end of WWI, socialists realized that something was amiss, for the world's proletariat had not heeded Marx's call to rise up in opposition to evil capitalism and to embrace communism instead. They wondered what had gone wrong.

Separately, two Marxist theorists-Antonio Gramsci of Italy and Georg Lukacs of Hungary-concluded that the Christianized West was the obstacle standing in the way of a communist new world order. The West would have to be conquered first.

Gramsci posited that because Christianity had been dominant in the West for over 2000 years, not only was it fused with Western civilization, but it had corrupted the workers class. The West would have to be de-Christianized, said Gramsci, by means of a "long march through the culture." Additionally, a new proletariat must be created. In his "Prison Notebooks," he suggested that the new proletariat be comprised of many criminals, women, and racial minorities.

The new battleground, reasoned Gramsci, must become the culture, starting with the traditional family and completely engulfing churches, schools, media, entertainment, civic organizations, literature, science, and history. All of these things must be radically transformed and the social and cultural order gradually turned upside-down with the new proletariat placed in power at the top.

I like post the comments under the videos I post to put things in perspective--the perspective of the individual posting the video. I should have posted a disclaimer, as I don't agree with that part about "Jewish Marxist ideology", as it paints with too broad a brush. I weary of all the comments I read which speak of some sort of 'Jewish conspiracy', as if the NWO is orchestrated strictly by Jews.

Susanna said...

Rest Assured that I do not believe for one minute that you agree with the so-called "Jewish-conspiracy" theories that blame the Jewish people for all the problems of the world.

You have understood me correctly. I am merely pointing out that our language needs to be precise when discussing political ideologies masquerading as religion...or political ideologies that have become the "religion" of those who continue to present themselves as members of a traditional faith community. Otherwise, we might inadvertently make it appear that we are identifying the political ideology with the religion.....the last thing we would wish to do.

In any case, Utopian Socialism existed long before Karl Marx entered the stage of world history. Its disciples even made a religion out of it. Inspired by Claude Henri de Rouvroy, comte de Saint-Simon, it was originally known as "Saint-Simonianism."

One of the founders of the proto-Socialist "religion" known as Saint-Simonianism was Barthélemy Prosper Enfantin whose theory of the relation of man and woman involved substituting a system of "free love" for the "tyranny of marriage". Enfantin wore on his breast a badge with his title of "Père," was referred to by his preachers as "the living law", declared himself to be "the chosen of God," and sent out emissaries in a quest of a woman predestined to be the "female Messiah," and the mother of a new Saviour!

One of the attributes of Utopian Socialism was its obsession with androgyny.

If you want the "definitive" WW2 history, showing how the USSR had infiltrated our government at top policy levels, and had an influence in how the war ended (with a bunch of formerly-free nations under the USSR yoke as the Iron Curtain fell), make sure you get a copy of Diana West's "American Betrayal". I've skimmed through it, but really need to read it straight through, front to back. It's an eye-opener, for sure, and it gives you a real sense of the battle we are in vis a vis Islam, because the same tactics are being employed, or maybe it's more accurate to say, America is displaying the same blindness toward Islam as we did toward ol' Uncle Joe Stalin and the communists.

Glad to know that comment was by you. I may have to pick up West’s book.

Regarding this particular post, this must be kept in proper context, the context being Trump’s refusal to agree with the Paris accord, and his vocal chiding of EU states for not paying the USA our fair share for NATO. More importantly, Merkel’s words do not suggest a total break.

Merkel: Europe 'can no longer rely on allies' after Trump and Brexit

…"The times in which we could completely depend on others are on the way out. I've experienced that in the last few days," Mrs Merkel told a crowd at an election rally in Munich, southern Germany.

The relationship between Berlin and new French President Emmanuel Macron had to be a priority, Mrs Merkel said, adding: "We Europeans have to take our destiny into our own hands."

…It might have been thanks to the beer, pretzels and Bavarian brass-band enlivening the crowd.

But Mrs Merkel's words were uncharacteristically passionate and unusually forthright. By all means keep friendly relations with Trump's America and Brexit Britain, was the message - but we can't rely on them.

Related to the elephant in the room—Islam—below is more food for thought:

Muslims Display Shocking Difference in Cultures During Moment of Silence. In Istanbul, Turkey a soccer match asks for a moment of silence for the victims of the Manchester attack. The crowd booed. And Turkey, a predominately Muslim nation is ‘moderate’?

This video provides more evidence of the seeming insanity of the West’s open Islamic immigration policy: We Wuzn’t Kangz, END of Germany & Canada + Honour Enrichment. Disregard content between 10:20 and 12:16, as it’s unrelated, though be sure to check out 12:17 to the finish, which is particularly important.

According to comment accompanying video, the nearly-raped 17 year old Danish girl who used pepper spray on her attacker received 60 days jail sentence, since pepper spray is illegal, while the attacker received no charges. Have readers here heard about Cassie Jaye's "Red Pill" movie? It chronicles a feminist’s journey into attempting to expose’ the whole “men’s rights” movement as a farce, as a misogynistic hate group, but finding instead that her initial thoughts were totally wrong. She’s now a men’s rights advocate, and this movie is her way to get the word out:

In some quarters it’s been vehemently opposed by feminists—no surprise there—but that has actually brought about more positive exposure.

Here's what I can't figure out: Given that the EU members states largely didn't even pony up their measly 2% for NATO, and, as far as I know (correct me if I'm wrong) they have a rather anemic military in general currently, how will they both build and fund this strong EU army? And are they thinking of doing all this sans America and the UK? If so, how does that benefit them? Wouldn't it be smarter to continue allying themselves with both, while enhancing what they currently have (which is how I read Merkel's comments anyway)? All Trump wanted was for the member states to pay up their fair share, and, it seems to me, he used Article V as leverage.

Good call!

This cracks me up! These parasitical clowns in Europe are unwilling to spend their fair share in support of NATO for their own defense...but they have the gall to talk about "forming an EU army???" What a crock!!! Who are they going to draft? Young men in the Muslim "no go neighborhoods???"

Notice that Frau Merkel didn't give any reasons why Germany has not been paying her fair share to support NATO. All she did was whine about the "unreliability" of the United States!!! And Britain.

The reason she is trying to shame the United states ( Marxist conscientization ) into letting Germany and other NATO members off the hook by picking up their NATO tab, is so that she can use the money saved to continue funding her welfare state and to continue helping other parasitical welfare states like Greece to maintain the status quo. Same goes for trying to shame Trump into not ditching the Paris Agreement.

In the end, Merkel may or may not be in full support of NATO.

But make no mistake. If Merkel is not supportive of NATO, then she is on the same page as Putin!

According to a Russian defector named "Comrade J,"( Sergei Tretyakov )who died suspiciously quickly after the publication of his book COMRADE J, Russia's main targets are the same as those of the former Soviet Union. The United States, NATO and that order.

Who told you this? It is abominable, but the Jews rejected Christ. So, it wouldn't be desolate for them. There will be shouting, singing, parties, celebrations, all over the devout Jewish world.

You'd better have a look at the Temple Institute website and see how quickly their ingredients have come together. By pulling out of the Paris Treaty, along with ending the USA's involvement in the New World Order's anti-sovereign nation Trans Pacific Partnership trade agreement, Trump has proven himself to be a true American patriot by putting America's interests FIRST !

By opposing these New World Order psychopaths, President Trump is in a very dangerous position ... please pray for his protection.

I think what will most likely happen with Germany is that Merkel and Putin will come to some kind of mutual agreement that will be an economic AND military pact of some kind. Then the global socialist revolution can continue to move forward across the entirety of Eurasia. China is a kind of wild card yet, but I think they will cooperate for the time being, perhaps after their pride is assuaged by letting them be the "leader of the world", now that, according to some news reports I've heard over the past 24 hours, the US has "given away" that title now because we walked out of the Paris Treaty.

The West, and especially the United States, will be seen as impediments to the world's progress, and an attempt will be made (with the rest of the world cheering the effort) to destroy us completely.

There has always been a discussion about whether convergence or outright attack will be the tool of choice to bring the West into the orbit of socialist world governance. I think both tactics are still in play, but with the rest of the world now apoplectic about Trump's thumbing his nose at the idea of convergence with their stupid plans, the pendulum is swinging toward outright attack.

I think you are right. Recall that in the interview with Norman Dodd I posted at 11:40 PM, Dodd, who was the chief researcher/investigator for the Reece Committee, stated that the ultimate plan of the Establishment elites was to "merge" the United States with the Soviet Union.

Regarding Merkel's relations with Putin, let's not forget about that Russian gas pipeline - Gazprom's Nord Stream - which Russia opened in 2012 and which runs directly from Vyborg in the Russian Federation to Greifswald in Germany through the Baltic Sea.

When the EU tried to make Russia conform to its EU competition laws, the Russian Federation responded by issuing a blocking legislation, which introduced a default rule prohibiting Russian strategic firms, including Gazprom, to comply with any foreign measures or requests. Compliance is made subject to a prior permission granted by the Russian government.

Needless to say, Russia is not about to surrender her national sovereignty to a group of unelected EU bureaucrats even though Russia is one of the signatories of the Paris Accord.

Regarding Putin's reaction to President Trump's withdrawal form the Paris Accord:

Responding to a question from NBC’s Megyn Kelly (formerly from Fox News) on stage at the forum in St. Petersburg, Vladimir Putin downplayed the significance of the U.S. withdrawal from the accord given that the agreement is not binding.

Putin suggested that there will perhaps still be time to renegotiate the deal so that the U.S. will decide to remain.

“It’s not even come into force yet. It should come into force in 2021. So we still have time, if we work constructively we still have time,” said the Russian president who then, switching to English, quoted a popular song, “Don’t worry, be happy.”

Russia is a signatory of the Paris Agreement, and the Kremlin said this week it would remain in the climate accord.

Putin said, "I wouldn’t start to condemn President Trump" over the decision, adding that perhaps Trump thought agreements by former President Barack Obama “hadn’t been totally thought through.”

The Russian leader stressed that because the Paris Accord is nonbinding it depends on countries' taking their own actions. Without U.S. participation, he added, it will be impossible in any case for the agreement to achieve its aims for combating climate change.

Putin said that he believes based on Trump’s comments that the U.S. president still wants to address the issue of climate change.

...The largest importers of Russian gas in the European Union are Germany and Italy, accounting together for almost half of the EU gas imports from Russia. Other larger Russian gas importers (over 5 billion cubic meter per year) in the European Union are France, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria and Slovakia. The largest non-EU importers of Russian natural gas are Ukraine, Turkey and Belarus.......

The Paris Climate Agreement was the culmination of years of direct New Age planning that pre-dated Rio (1992 - headed by Maurice Strong) and even Stockholm (1972). Barbara Marx Hubbard boasted in an April 1988 Seattle speech to a Unity Church audience (she was introduced there by Fritz Hull, an ordained Presbyterian minister who co-headed (with his wife) the New Age Chinook Learning Community on Whidbey Island in the Seattle area) -- that they now had their issue that would be an "end run around national sovereignty -- the Environmental issue.: The London-based International Institute for Environmental Affairs based on the model of Institute for Strategic Studies (co-founded by Sir Kenneth Grubb - brother of Norman Grubb --, Sir Anthony Buzzard and Denis Healey (a Bilderberg founder). Maurice Strong (a long time occult New Age, population reduction proponent) was running the show then and for many, many years thereafter. They caused the writing and publication of a book ONLY ONE EARTH that was used to show their alleged "scientific consensus" -- ideas such as bio-diversity, population reduction, diminishing the USA, etc. were important theme.

The IIEA/UN conference on those issues was held in 1972, but much of the planning had been done at the ASPEN INSTITUTE in 1971 meetings. They are patient. 1972 was the Stockholm meeting run by Maurice Strong. The UN set up for him its UNEP (United Nations Environmental Program). Then 1992 was the Rio de Janeiro meeting and Agenda 21 (now Agenda 2030 = although I believe that 2020 the 50th anniversary of Stockholm) will be more significant.

What I've observed for years is now coming to pass BIG TIME. Hold on to your seatbelts -- it looks like a ROCKY RIDE!

What a great summery! Thanks.
Yet we have seen the Communist have adapted this agenda as their own, as a tool to bring about global political subjection.

I was thinking that on the political side of this we see the Communists and the NewAge the religious side.

I am always looking for that‘Iron and Clay’ depiction in Daniel 2.
Interestingly here I see as an ‘Iron and Clay’ analogy.
We see the political Communist as the Iron and the Religious New Age as the Clay.

Also in-so-much as the 'church' adapts their belief and agenda, they become 'one' with the NewAge cause, be they Protestant or Catholic.

I think the same way - environmentalism is the political continuation of whatever communism was (through Gorbachev and the Gorbachev Foundation/USA, which was followed by his Green Cross International), and new ageism, paganism, gnosticism is the religious component that "fills the void" left by the atheism of "traditional" communism.

It's all about Oneism vs. Twoism (Dr. Peter Jones and his website, or the individual vs. the collective. Jesus focused on individuals in his ministry. Remember the parable of the lost sheep - the shepherd left the 99 sheep (the collective) to go look for the one (the individual). Of course, in a sense, he died for all, the collective human race, but I think collectivism in general is not His will. That could be one of the reasons for His disbanding of the large collective (all of Mankind!) who built the Tower of Babel. He has ordained that there will be tribes, nations, different languages, smaller groups all over the earth who are NOT united in purpose and will.

And it is Satan in his rebellion who has been working behind the scenes against God's will to achieve that worldwide unity (Tower of Babel 2.0), which is something that will only happen through coercion, and even then it will be a false unity. And, thankfully, it won't last long.

UNESCO's first director Julian Huxley organized the International Union for the Conservation of Nature in 1948. It, too, sought to undermine sovereignty and rally the nations around an environmental issue which would transcend national boundaries.

It was the 1972 Stockholm Conference which consolidated previous efforts and set today's environmental movement in motion.

Huxley was a eugenicist. He articulated UNESCO's goals which, same as today, calls for population reduction, cradle to grave control of individuals, the managed evolution of the species, etc. While Huxley wrote he found Hitler's crimes abhorrent, his vision was much the same. He wrote this only one year after WWII ended:

"At the moment, it is probable that the indirect effect of civilisation
is dysgenic instead of eugenic ; and in any case it seems likely
that the dead weight of genetic stupidity, physical weakness, mental
instability, and disease-proneness, which already exist in the human
species, will prove too great a burden for real progress to be achieved.
Thus even though it is quite true that any radical eugenic policy
will be for many years politically and psychologically impossible, it
will be important for Unesco to see that the eugenic problem is
examined with the greatest care, and that the public mind is informed
of the issues at stake so that much that now is unthinkable may at
least become thinkable."

Thomas Dalheimer (@ 8:38 AM),

Now here’s something on which we agree! On the hand…but, on the other hand:

21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. 22 If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! 23 I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; 24 but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. 25 Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, 26 so that through my being with you again your boasting in Christ Jesus will abound on account of me. (Philippians 1:21-26, NIV)

Of course, God could just end all this right now, however:

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9, NIV)

God is waiting for you, Mr. Dahlheimer!

I can only say ditto! to what Craig said.

We long to be with Christ, but if by our staying, God can use us to help bring more to Him, then so be it. Just because evil is inevitable doesn't mean we sit in the fatalist corner and do nothing. We fight against the evil, and rejoice when it is pushed back, because that means more may be rescued from the flames of the dark days upon us.

I understand your stance about Islam, as it relates to the contents of Peter Le Mesurier’s The Armaggeddon Script, and while I can understand your position, with respect, I do believe the plan is already being carried out in the form of the West’s forced acceptance of Islam. Those who criticize it, no matter how fairly, are labeled “Islamophobes”, racists, etc. Is it possible that global elites are using Islamic extremism as a proxy to take away freedoms, all the while causing division and the subjugation of certain people throughout the world? Are the extremists/terrorists pawns in a larger game? Or is there more to this?

Canada’s Justine Trudeau has helped pass their pro-Islam M-103 motion, which gives religious preference to Islam, at the expense of other religions. Here’s an article in the Toronto Sun, published before the motion was passed:

Canada’s so-called anti-Islamophobia motion is nothing but trouble:

…When the House of Commons returns next week, Liberal MP Iqra Khalid’s M-103, which has the unobjectionable title of “Systemic racism and religious discrimination,” will be somewhere on the order paper and up for a vote.

Scratch below the surface and it’s immediately clear this is hardly about religious discrimination in general. It singles out Islamophobia by name and nothing else. There’s no mention of, say, anti-Semitism at all.

Its first point is to “recognize the need to quell the increasing public climate of hate and fear.” What a vague and unsubstantiated sentence. This is lawmaking, folks, not social justice warrior blogging.

The motion then goes on to direct MPs to take note of a petition on the government’s website that was signed by tens of thousands of Canadians.

“Recently, an infinitesimally small number of extremist individuals have conducted terrorist activities while claiming to speak for the religion of Islam,” petition E-411 notes. “Their actions have been used as a pretext for a notable rise of anti-Muslim sentiments in Canada.”

It continues: “These violent individuals do not reflect in any way the values of the teachings of all the religion of Islam. In fact, they misrepresent the religion. We categorically reject all their activities. They in no way represent the religion, the beliefs and the desire of Muslims to co-exist in peace with all peoples of the world.”

… This is an attempt to silence rational critics of political Islam.

Perhaps it’s true that Islamic terrorism is not part and parcel to Islam; however, there are a number of passages in the Koran that seem to promote this kind of thing. More on that below. Oh, and “political Islam”?—more on that below, as well.

In the following more extensive investigation, an undercover UK reporter went to a number of UK mosques and found that these were supported/funded by Saudi Arabia, which was promoting the radical Wahhabi sect of Islam.

Using a Hidden Camera in a Muslim mosques SHOCKING News #359

“The last day will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews, and kill them.”

Here’s a short piece by PBS—not some right wing or alt-right group—describing the dangers of the Wahhabi sect, a sect that is apparently quite large:

analysis: wahhabism

For more than two centuries, Wahhabism has been Saudi Arabia's dominant faith. It is an austere form of Islam that insists on a literal interpretation of the Koran. Strict Wahhabis believe that all those who don't practice their form of Islam are heathens and enemies. Critics say that Wahhabism's rigidity has led it to misinterpret and distort Islam, pointing to extremists such as Osama bin Laden and the Taliban. Wahhabism's explosive growth began in the 1970s when Saudi charities started funding Wahhabi schools (madrassas) and mosques from Islamabad to Culver City, California…

In many Muslim-dominated areas in Western nations, these Islamic enclaves will push for Sharia law. The push is usually presented as only wanting to administer civil issues, such as divorce; however, here’s an eye-opening short video about this quest in Australia:

Muslims want Sharia Law in Australia

When specifically asked which should take precedence, Australian law or Sharia, their answer was Sharia. Why is that? It’s because Islam is inherently theocratic and at odds with Western democracy.

This following relatively short video well-encapsulates the problem. I’m starting to really like this guy’s content—quite effective sarcasm, while making strikingly good points:

London: A Society with Collective Cognitive Dissonance

Craig said...

...continuing (part iii of iv):

As we know, words only acquire meaning in context. As an example, in English “ball” can mean many different things; however, when placed in a sentence the meaning is clarified: The ball on the football field. Yet even this sentence needs more context, for if this were spoken here in the USA it would mean one thing; whereas, if this were spoken in the UK it would mean quite another. In the former we’d think of an oblong-shaped, brown-colored ball; in the latter a round ball with white hexagons and black pentagons would come to mind. So, sometimes one must look beyond the immediate context, to the larger context. Thinking along these same lines, I’ll get to the point.

In transliterated Arabic, Allah means “God.” The important question to ponder is: Do Christians and Jews worship the same God as Islam? There are many who make the claim that all three are “Abrahamic” religions, which is not wholly untrue, though certainly an oversimplification. Jews worship “the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob” (Exodus 3:6, 3:15-16, etc.), and Christians worship this same God (Matthew 22:32, Acts 3:13, etc.). To be more specific, Jews and Christians claim lineage (not strictly biological) from Abraham > Isaac > Jacob, with Christians extending that to Jesus. On the other hand, while Muslims acknowledge Isaac, they claim lineage (not strictly biological) from Abraham > Ishmael > Muhammad. Jews await the coming of the Messiah, while Christians await the second coming of the Messiah, Jesus. Muslims await the coming of the Imam Mahdi. These are fundamental differences.

Jews take their teachings from the Tanakh (Old Testament), plus the oral law, Mishna, Talmud, etc. Christian teachings come from the Bible (Old and New Testaments) and each stream has associated doctrines: RCC (“Tradition”, Magisterium); Protestantism (Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, non-denominational, etc.); Eastern Orthodox, etc. Islam bases its beliefs on the Qu’ran, as well as tafsin (commentaries) and Hadiths (accounts of Muhammad). [For those who may wish to nitpick this, I’m not attempting to be all-inclusive in these descriptions.]

Is the God of Islam the same as the Jewish or Christian God? By taking just a cursory read of their holy book, the Koran, the answer is an unequivocal “no”. Jews and Christians are specifically singled out as non-allies to Muslims in Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:51:

O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.

The context of Surah At-Tawbah 9, illustrates their murderous intent against “polytheists”, which includes Jews and Christians:

9:4-5: Excepted are those with whom you made a treaty among the polytheists and then they have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you; so complete for them their treaty until their term [has ended]. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him]. And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Craig said...

…continuing (part iv of iv):

What is “zakah”? It’s a payment to Islamic leaders for distribution to others. This is but one bit of evidence of the political nature of this religion, its theocratic underpinnings. Let’s move to 9:29 for more:

Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.

Hmmm, let’s see ‘Fight them until the give the jizyah willingly’. Well, I suppose we could call this ‘poetic language’ for Mafia-like coercion of payment of taxes. The jizyah are taxes payable to the Islamic state—there’s that theocratic language again—for “disbelievers”. But, wait, isn’t zakah a tax payable to the Islamic state? Yes, but that’s for believers, which means the repentance mentioned above in 9:5 is for Muslim converts or Muslim apostates who’ve strayed and now repented.

The article mentioned how the Wahhabis take a literal interpretation of the Koran; but, I must ask: How can one interpret the above passages metaphorically?

Now, of course, there are Muslims who do not ascribe to the above beliefs. Some would call these Muslims “moderates”. However, wouldn’t this be equivalent to what we’d call “cafeteria Christians”, those who accept only what they like, while discarding the rest? That is, wouldn’t these be “cafeteria Muslims”?

You are right, Craig.
Since Dahlheimer isn't intellectually honest enough to read objectively to understand reasoning in the construct of Bible narrative in a main, he cannot, because he has determined not to find context in any singled out instance, either.
His argument is for arguments sake, not for finding truth and revealing it. A flaming hypocrite.

If his beliefs are so great, because true, he would be making viable points in answering your questions, would have already had something to say that supports his beliefs, instead of the very dull and useless non-answers he continues to post.

So Dullheimer, in the lack of proper construct for his beliefs, in his ongoing verbage, can set up no proper context for them, makes that name for him fit.
His science is bad and his religion is preposterous.
Time is on the side of the Bible. His beliefs have an expiration date.

Here is a bit of context for him, though--in only hypothetical instance--a Christian being proven wrong suffers no loss for believing God in Jesus Christ, but staying with his worldview and found wrong for not believing God in Jesus Christ, he loses absolutely everything.

To each their own.

the issue was denying the Lamb was slain FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE COSMOS
I apologize for not being more specific.

previous thread: 8:26 AM

"...the Lamb's book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the foundation of the world.

The grammar here is a little ambiguous, so it may instead be:

All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life belonging to the Lamb who was slain."
[you complain of grammar/syntax ambiguity in English so I drag in koine to prevent similar claim
about Greek]

"Thus, it’s either that the Lamb (Jesus) was slain from the very beginning, or that the book of life belonging to the Lamb was there from the very beginning,

"this book of life requiring the Life-Giver, Christ. Either way amounts to the same thing. No back-up plan; it was there from the beginning. There’s no “Ooops!” like Dahlheimer’s “God”."

THAT BY DEFINITION IS A BACKUP PLAN. there is no oops when you expect and plan ahead of time. The book of life because requiring the life-giver leaves The Lamb was slain from the foundation

after that 1:46 PM:

"And you are wrong regarding the placement of “Lamb” and “book” in Revelation 13:8 ... (and neither is repeated). Here’s how it reads in the Greek: ...
in the Book of Life of the Lamb of the one slain from foundation of cosmos."

the sentence is talking about something slain from the foundation of the cosmos. So it is either the book or the lamb. The translation said "The Lamb" instead of "the one" recognizing the Lamb was meant.

"“the Lamb” is not repeated in the Greek text."

I said that "the one slain" REFERS TO THE LAMB, and of course so does "the foundation of the cosmos," you present the Greek text as valid so you are left with the MEANING that THE LAMB

I recall that somebody who reckoned they could tell auras couldn't in fact tell whether a cubicle contained a human or was empty, even though they could see above the top of the cubicle. What makes you think you are different?

Dahlheimer @ 8:48
What? No mention of what kind of people the Midianites were?
The Canaanites, Jebusites, Perrezites, Amorites and pretty much all the tribes around that part of the world at that time, were were famous for their: Incest, child sacrifice; (making them walk through fire, etc.), beastiality, homosexuality, entertainment killing and every form of perversion imaginable and probably some that aren't even imaginable.
In Dahlheimers world, God should just let these people do their thing and leave them alone.
But God (Jehovah) has to consider the rest of humanity and the effect that that level of moral sickness will have on the rest of the world. It tends always to spread and grow and multiply. Witness Islam and New Age in these days.
If one has a garden, they should pull up crabgrass and bittersweet vines and anything that kills good plants.
God is the husbandman and he wants people to participate in the cultivation and care-taking of the earth, with him.
Those Midianites are all gone, as are all the various Cannaanites tribes. There are no Palestinians left.
So are the child-sacrificing Aztecs and hundreds of other tribes through the millennia.
If you take a trip down Route 95 along the east coast from Boston to, say, Baltimore, as I did recently, you'll notice that pretty much all the trees on both side of the highway are dead and rotting. They've all been strangled by the pretty Bittersweet Vine. It looks like a Si-Fi post-apocalypse movie set, all because no one killed the Bittersweet vines when they were little and relatively harmless.

More proof that the "Environmental Movement" has been a New Age thrust and it was going on for at least 2 years or more preceding the first 1970 EARTH DAY. Rummaging my own library, I discovered a book I purchased brand new from a Traverse City New Age bookstore. The book is PIECES OF THE GLOBAL PUZZLE: International Approaches to Environmental Concerns. It is by Anne M. Blackburn. It was published by Fulcrum Press. On page 138 of that book, we read:

Four years of preparatory work, led by the secretary
general of the Conference, Maurice Strong, preceded
the gathering - years during which background data
was gathered on increasing air and water pollution in the
industrialized nations, population pressures in certain
areas, and fears that non-renewable resources (oil and
coal in particular) were being used at too fast a rate. The
meeting was attended by many of the people who were
involved with IUCN and WWF, and thus some of the
conservation-oriented issues were presented as well.
Lesser-Developed Countries attended, but more from a
defensive posture. Leaders from these nations were fearful
that the cries to "reduce pollution," "slow the rate of
consumption of non-renewable resources" and "limit
population growth" were just more ploys to keep their
people in a state of repression. Over time, however,
these countries have largely become strong supporters
of many of the basic thrusts of Stockholm. Their well articulated
opinions that environmental protection could
not succeed without development - that poverty was a
major source of environmental degradation - helped
shape the concept of sustainable development and of the
other ideas that were to emerge in 1980 in the World
Conservation Strategy.
In December of 1972, the United Nations General
Assembly, acting on the recommendation of the Stockholm
The conference, established the United Nations Environment
Program to provide catalytic coordination
among the existing organizations with responsibilities
for activities that affected the global environment. These
included UNESCO, United Nations Development Program,
World Health Organization, Food and Agriculture
Organization of the United Nations, World Bank and others . . .

Perhaps you've missed this overly-long-and-drawn out conversation that Christine interjected herself into about 5-6 weeks ago, in which she's changed her position in nearly as many times, rather than concede that she initially was wrong and/or misunderstood my comment. She's turned it into such a Gordian knot that it's almost impossible now to undo it.

Sadly, Craig, it's been nigh on impossible, despite having wished to, to 'miss' Chritine's long, arduous, and ever-changing nonsensical ramblings with which you have suffered patiently yet not lightly.

It's hard to miss her long winded expulsions, and were she never to post again (if only!), I doubt even then anyone would miss her posts!

We all know CNN = VERY fake news. However, they not only twist the ‘news’, they manufacture and orchestrate it! Watch in this video as someone captures British journalist Becky Anderson handing out signs to Muslims (presumably) in a staged peaceful gathering. In the video you can see them assemble one by one receiving their sign for this mock gathering. [I can’t help but think of comedian Bill Engvall saying, “Here’s your sign!”]

Black Pigeon Speaks:

…You’re not a journalist. You’re a propaganda artist who is trying to create a false narrative in the midst of a tragedy to see your own political leanings, no matter the lies you feel you need to spin. And you do this all after many, many people were murdered and maimed—very classy Becky…

But, we have to make sure no Muslim’s are offended after an Islamic terrorist attack—never mind the dead and those mourning over the dead. Never mind that UK mosques are being taught the Saudi-funded Wahhabi sectarian form of Islam, a radical sect (see my 8:12 PM comment above).

Hey, but at least she adopted Trump’s word for Islamic terrorists: losers.

Not convinced this was staged? Here’s another video which shows these exact same signs with a different group of Muslims, in a different location (starting @ 0:54)—except the guy in the green scarf who was in both shots: CNN Caught Staging A Fake Protest

Similarly, in pushing this same let’s-not-offend-the-religion-of-peace narrative, the BBC seems to have planted a particular Muslim for a multitude of speaking opportunities:

BBC caught: man planted in audience is offended by criticism of Islamism

Maybe this YouTuber is wrong. Maybe this Muslim guy just happens to be ubiquitously available.

Maybe I’m just becoming a cynical conspiracy theorist.

He then said the following, 'NO, IT WAS NOT THE NAZI POPE [obviously referring to Benedict XVI/Ratzinger\ BUT THE COOL POPE.

Given my past statements on the climate change scam, I am sure you must already know what I think of the Paris Accord and where I stand as a Catholic.

It is merely another socialist wealth redistribution scheme in which first world countries such as the United States would be required to surrender their national sovereignty and shell out hard-earned taxpayer money to parasitical third world socialist crapholes that would do next to nothing to improve the air quality and/or environment in their respective cpountries.

Socialists don't solve problems. They merely exploit them.

As Saul Alinsky's disciples put it, when all is said and done, "the issue is never the issue." Unlike their dupes and useful idiots, the socialist crafters of the Paris Accord could not care less about "climate change." That is because "climate change" is not the issue. The issue is siezing POWER.

Yes, it is about power, Susanna.
So why is Pope Francis lending His name and influence to help the globalists in the first place?

He is on the front lines to advance this agenda. He has made headline news giving messages that support it. There is cause for alarm and no one is going to excuse it away. Not you, not anyone.
And he is not naive, he's culpable for being any part of this.
You, yourself know better, Susanna, so one has to wonder why he is bought into the climate change lie? Look who he has taken advise from, or has that too been excused and forgotten?

I watched a portion of the link "Why Pope Benedict XVI Resigned." I'm not sure where the maker came from, but it looked to me like a denigrating of the Curia of the Roman Catholic Church that had, as Foster Bailey (Alice Bailey's husband) put it had always stood between the New Agers and their hopes to use the Catholic Church. Here's the language from that book, THINGS TO COME

IncReasing numbers of religious leaders are recognising that the church must abandon useless dogmas and that it is out of step with the development of human intelligence
today. There is a ferment arising in the religious field which is forcing reformation of Churchianity. Amazing things are taking place in the Roman Catholic Church for example.
It may eventuate that the most crystallised, materialistic and dogmatic church in the Christian world will become the leader in a Christian religious revival.
For centuries the Roman Catholic Church has been dominated and controlled bY- the Curia, a body of ultraconservative doctrinaires who wielded undisputed power over all cardinals and bishops. Until this control was broken there was little hope for any spiritual change . . .

Although slow to the table, Pope John Paul II under the encouragement of his Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Cardinal Ratzinger, took a strong and courageous eventual public stand against the New Age Movement.

It is now appearing to me that since Cardinal Ratzinger/Pope Benedict XVI has obviously been deposed (or forced to resign) that sadly, the predictions of Foster Bailey might be coming to pass under Pope Francis.

I hope not, but that is now how it is apparently seeming to be.

Re: Yes, it is about power, Susanna.
So why is Pope Francis lending His name and influence to help the globalists in the first place?

I am still investigating this very question. I think Pope Francis' left-leaning "advisors" leave a lot to be desired in terms of their competence as "scientists" as well as their politics.

But for the sake of argument and assuming the news reports concerning the Pope's comments are authentic and accurately translated (given that Pope Francis does not speak English), whatever is motivating Pope Francis, one thing is for sure. No Pope is infallible when it comes to politics or politically motivated agendas and should not be excused for promoting a socio-political agenda masquerading as a religion.

Anyone who thinks the Pope is "infallible" when it comes to science or politics clearly has a mistaken notion of the papacy.

Oh, by the way, "climate change" is now being referred to as "climate justice" by the World Council of Churches. Really??? Precisely what does that mean??? That the USA is supposed to continue shelling out hundreds of billions of dollars while business continues as usual in metaphorical terms of continuing to allow "peeing areas" in the global swimming pool???

Just the fact that the World Council of Churches is "dismayed" at President Trump's decision tells me that he made the RIGHT decision!!! Moreover, why are they lending THEIR name and influence to help the globalists?

Susanna said...

P.S. 8:12 PM

Climate justice must be prioritized, say ACT Alliance, the Lutheran World Federation and the World Council of Churches

...The poorest countries will be hit twice more: first by unwillingness to curb US carbon emissions, and then by a planned decrease in climate finance to support people in adapting to the impacts of climate change and towards a transition to clean energy for poor countries......

Donald Trump has pointed out that he DOES care for the environment. He wants to develop all forma of energy including solar, wind and nuclear in addition to clean coal, etc. What Donald Trump does NOT care for is getting ripped off and surrendering our national sovereignty to a small clique of unelected foreign socialist bureaucrats for whom the "climate finance" would merely serve as one more slush fund to be used in support of their socialist agenda.

Not that it ever was a thing, really. This debate — as I argue at some length in Watermelons — was always about left-wing ideology, quasi-religious hysteria, and “follow the money” corruption, never about “science.”

Yes, you read that right. Not billion but trillion. That’s $2,500,000,000,000 which India was expecting to be paid over the next 15 years by the Western nations – ie mainly the U.S. – as a bribe for pretending to decarbonize its economy in line with the U.N. Paris agreement. more....

Thanks for your reply, Susanna.
I know you are very up to date on the subject, correctly calling it what the powers that be call it, "climate justice". The social engineering of the global-minded has been ongoing for decades as Constance (and others) has warned for years and we are, most assuredly, witnessing the "fruits" from the bad seeds they planted. The political and religious world blended in forming the world governance that the Bible has foretold is right on hand as this blog is highlighting once again. The Pope's messages are targeted to help lead that charge. That is why I am more convinced that none of this is done in a vacuum, as this current Pope is a globe trotter beyond them all, staying very current himself. He has to know he is on the wrong side of this issue to counter the Bible's clear teaching regarding it so I don't think language is in any way a barrier.

I think it is way past giving him the benefit of any doubt, having nothing whatsoever to do with denomination, as climate change has become much more in recent years, a mainstream issue with all the denominations. The Parliament of World Religions and other collectives in the religious world are testimony to that.

If I, an ordinary person who is reading the Bible and reading daily headlines, can know what the issues are that are truly threatening the world today, then he, more so, should know what is happening in the world, with his many resources and contacts, plus a bully pulpit to broadcast it.

The man is dangerous. I really believe we will be witness to just how dangerous, soon rather than later. I do not think anyone of us can separate his secular and religious understandings and views because rooted within each other, speaking one message.
He is incorporated into the ranks of those who are wickedly engineering us all out of our God-given freedom. There is no justice of any kind coming from the globalist rank and file. We'll see how far America's President can get with his counter message. Frankly, I don't think it is going to get very far off the ground. The globalist's are dug in, with means now to engineer world economies and world cultures as never before.
" the predictions of Foster Bailey might be coming to pass under Pope Francis" to quote Constance Cumbey, totally makes sense of the whole issue.
We are there.

As I have indicated, I am still investigating the situation and intend to reserve judgement until I have all the facts. But if Pope Francis turns out to be a "politicking pontiff," he would not be the first one in history. The Borgia popes come to mind.

In any case, if anyone wants to know the Catholic position on economics, all they have to do is consult the Catechism of the Catholic Church which was promulgated for the Catholic Church by Pope John Paul II in 1992. It sums up, in book form, the beliefs of the Catholic faithful.

The Catechism of the Catholic church is quite clear in it's teaching about economics. ( 1885 "The principal of Subsidiarity is opposed to all forms of Collectivism"...)
(2425) makes it clear that the Church rejects Communism and Socialism. It also makes it clear that the Church does not reject Capitalism.

While the Catholic Church has not PRESCRIBED any one particular economic system, she has generally tended to be tolerant of moderate capitalism ( key word being MODERATE ) which is observant of human rights and which provides a social safety net for people who through no fault of their own are poverty-stricken.

Centesimus Annus, published by Pope John Paul II in May of 1991 says it well:

The answer is obviously complex. If by “capitalism” is meant an economic system which recognizes the fundamental and positive role of business, the market, private property and the resulting responsibility for the means of production, as well as free human creativity in the economic sector, then the answer is certainly in the affirmative, even though it would perhaps be more appropriate to speak of a “business economy,” “market economy” or simply “free economy.” But if by “capitalism” is meant a system in which freedom in the economic sector is not circumscribed within a strong juridical framework which places it at the service of human freedom in its totality, and which sees it as a particular aspect of that freedom, the core of which is ethical and religious, then the reply is certainly negative.

We have to be careful therefore to define the type of capitalism we are talking about. If the "capitalism" in question is "laissez faire" capitalism, then, as the late Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen once asked, is there ultimately any real difference between one regime in which the means of production are concentrated in the hands of a few "commissars" and another in which the means of production are concentrated in the hands of a few elite capitalists/fascists? In either case, the means of production wind up being concentrated in the hands of an elite few while the plight of the poor remains the same - except in cases where people have felt themselves tragically compelled to sell their consciences for bread.

In the Norman Dodd interview which I have posted, it was CAPITALISTS like Carnegie, Ford, Rockefeller and others who were being investigated by the Reece Committee for using their tax exempt status to promote COMMUNISM.....because they saw it as the means of creating a monopoly - an end run around the anti-trust laws.

Just saying.....

Re: the video, there is only one word to describe it: SICKENING!

I must say, however, it is NOT shocking to me, as I personally had a family member suffer sexual abuse as a child in a RCC "orphanage" in Austria. What is amazing too is the incredible amount of abuse that was successfully covered up via Rome's fear tactics, threats and bribes. etc. Only God knows the extent of these secret crimes. Also, the RCC has a well documented, long history of not cooperating with civil authorities regarding these crimes.

Ratzinger may very well have stood firm against the NAM, as Constance asserts. However, for 24 years, he was in charge of the office that handled sex abuse cases (world wide). And what did he do? He handled these CRIMES in the traditional RCC way ... cover-ups, pay-offs, etc. along with TRANSFERS of "offending priests" into other dioceses where, in due time, they continued in their abuse of children.

Everyone on this site knows where I stand on the RCC, so I don't need to go there. Christ said: "Ye shall know them by their fruits."

As to the question; "Why was Ratzinger removed as Pope?" Only those schemers inside the Vatican would know the answer to that question ... anything else is pure conjecture.

In the matter of climate change the science should come before the politics and certainly before the theology. I can assure people that there is no good evidence for global warming of dangerous extent due to human energy-generating activity.

As this is good news, it throws into question the motivation of those who insist otherwise, of course.
