I tend to watch everything and everyone I can on the world stage as I feel things are moving in a certain direction.
I think it deserves more than "I suppose" simply because a figure like Peres mentioned it in tandem with the UN. Someone else could definitely run with this.
And for the record, I would watch just as closely and scrutinize it if my own father were involved.
It seems like those desiring genuine discussion must "walk on egg shells" around here when anything questionable is posed regarding Pope Francis.

If you're still interested in this particular idea proposed by Peres then why not research it more deeply and see if it is something more prevalent than something which at present, according to the said article, is a dismissed idea? I'm sure if you find something trustworthy to rebut the claims made in the article or that rationally and informatively elaborates on this that gives others more to work with here you will see more engagement here on this.
Sadly, TLC, with respect, sometimes we just have to research things for ourselves until we can show they are more than orbital and not just rejected proposals, however indicative we may perceive them to be. There are of course other organizations out there of a similar nature, yet unlike Peres's proposal are not merely hypotheses, such as: the Alliance of Religions and Conservation (ARC); the Alliance of Civilizations; Tony Blair Faith Foundation; the Council of the Religious Institutions of the Holy Land; and many more you could research also.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, TLC, but it appears you're quite ready to dig the dirt on the Roman Catholics here (despite your caveat in the above post, "I'm not condemning the pope... but...", your post is implicitly barbed) even going as far as to guilt-trip Paul on this for not doing so at the same time as chastising him for standing up against Christine's promotion of the occult and false religion (which, with her dissemination of beliefs in chakra's and so on is far more in need of rebuke and correction than your average Catholic here. Perhaps you should expose her and her occult writings and foul language here instead of molly-coddling her, and letting her spread her venomous falsehoods here like poison ivy. Or is there something more to your deflections from the New Age ( have you exposed any of it here yet?) And pursuit of Catholics here?
I am not saying there are not sinister things or groups at play in the Vatican, or elsewhere further up the heirarchies of other denominations, just that your focus on attacking Roman Catholicism as a whole whilst trying to silence those rebuking obvious New Age wolves here seems rather suspicious to say the least!

This is actually a very good point. Because what I want to know is how the people who embrace "maya" have arrived at their view of reality given the fact that all knowledge is rooted in sense experience and anyone who has tried to overthrow that truth has wound up in an embarrassing abyss of self-contradiction???
When all is said and done, faith and reason do not - or at least should not - contradict one another since the same God who has revealed Himself to us has also created the human reason by which we are capable of understanding what has been revealed.

I didn't think I was attacking Catholicism either.
The link I used in my post was not mine but one I used from an earlier anon poster as I didn't feel the need to post others as the same article was carried by MANY other reputable news outlets.
I am quite aware of Tony Blair and his organization and jumped on that several years ago. I just felt this was huge since it was happening in the here and now whether the pope was involved or not.
And there was no "guilt tripping" of Paul. I think Christina is a little out there sometimes, but not any worse than some of the "intellectuals" that post mind numbing useless information to the average person.
I mean, how useful is all the nazi and DARPA stuff to the average person? Not that it isn't important and well researched, but the way it is written here seems more for the elite of this board to showcase their so called knowledge between each other than to actually help the AVERAGE person who might visit this blog in search of discernment. I know this blog is devoted to exposing the new age movement, but when you start throwing names around like some of those Constance references (Solana etc.) at the top of her blog page and, start threads about RFID chips and other end times scenarios, you invite many who are interested in discussing end times and certain ramifications about it but are limited because they are not into discussing nazis and rainbows (as one anon poster above accurately stated), and the pope seems to be off limit.
A few months ago when news broke about the pope meeting with many of those disgusting WOF ministers (Copeland, Osteen and many others), this was only addressed by those who were non catholic or former catholic. The same goes for the invitation for Jewish, Chiristian and Islamic (who don't recognize Jesus as the Son of God) prayers at the Vatican.
Can you honestly tell me that, if Solana or Marx Hubbard had been behind organizing such meetings that it would go unnoticed on this blog?
No, Constance most likely would have started a thread or two on each one. But these topics were not even touched by Constance or the regulars. It's as if they didn't happen.

Indeed, this is where we begin to see the cloven hoof peeping out from beneath the skirts of DARPA in terms of what is as you say a memory triggering ‘black box’ device.'
If something like this were successfully developed, practical applications could very well include a new species of electronic "enhanced interrogation" of "enemies" - and non-enemies alike.....especially if it were to get into the wrong hands......which such things usually do.

The Department of Defense is stretching its budget into a strange new combination of science and psychology — dream interpretation.
The department’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is funding the work of two Indiana University professors using network science to study similarities in dreams shared by English, Arabic and Chinese dreamers, Medium reports.
Results will be aimed at establishing cross-cultural links shared between different groups of people across the globe.
Network science has become an incredibly useful tool in research projects like Indiana’s, thanks to the emerge of online social media. The science has uncovered global cultural links in ancient literature, myths, recipe ingredients, brain regional connectivity, biomolecules and disease.
Dreams have become an area of research budding with analyzable information thanks to the wide availability of dream interpretation websites, with the University of California’s Dreambank database describing some 1,400 similar symbols shared by some 20,000 English dream reports alone. Arabic and Chinese websites have similar databases, all of which share common themes like “love,” “quarrel” or “voices.”
Professors Onur Varol and Filippo Menczer began by analyzing similarities across global dream interpretation databases and created three networks that link dream symbols in English, Arabic and Chinese, establishing communities of densely linked symbols.
For example, symbols for “mailman,” “message” and “voices” commonly represent warnings, while “guard,” “hiding” and “raincoat” represent protection.
“We built a multicultural dream network by identifying interconnections between language layers,” Varol and Menczer said explaining how they compared different structures across languages and networks to find common threads. ”These results indicate that … symbols tend to be connected to the same neighbors across languages.”
The two plan to continue their research by analyzing how often symbols appear in dreams together to get a better understanding of the associations between them, and use advances made in language processing to compare and get a better grasp of the concepts and sentiments behind words and symbols.
It’s unclear how the research could or would be used by DARPA, which specifically develops revolutionary technologies for national security purposes, or the Defense Department as a whole.

The activities of users of Twitter and other social media services were recorded and analysed as part of a major project funded by the US military, in a program that covers ground similar to Facebook’s controversial experiment into how to control emotions by manipulating news feeds.
Research funded directly or indirectly by the US Department of Defense’s military research department, known as Darpa, has involved users of some of the internet’s largest destinations, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Kickstarter, for studies of social connections and how messages spread.
While some elements of the multi-million dollar project might raise a wry smile – research has included analysis of the tweets of celebrities such as Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, in an attempt to understand influence on Twitter – others have resulted in the buildup of massive datasets of tweets and additional types social media posts.
Several of the DoD-funded studies went further than merely monitoring what users were communicating on their own, instead messaging unwitting participants in order to track and study how they responded.
Shortly before the Facebook controversy erupted, Darpa published a lengthy list of the projects funded under its Social Media in Strategic Communication (SMISC) program, including links to actual papers and abstracts.
The project list includes a study of how activists with the Occupy movement used Twitter as well as a range of research on tracking internet memes and some about understanding how influence behaviour (liking, following, retweeting) happens on a range of popular social media platforms like Pinterest, Twitter, Kickstarter, Digg and Reddit.
Darpa, established in 1958, is responsible for technological research for the US military. Its notable successes have included no less than Arpanet, the precursor to today's internet, and numerous other innovations, including onion routing, which powers anonymising technologies like Tor. However, thanks to some of its more esoteric projects, which have included thought-controlled robot arms, city-wide surveillance programs and exo-skeletons, the agency has also become the subject of many conspiracy theories, and a staple in programmes like the X-Files.
Unveiled in 2011, the SMISC program was regarded as a bid by the US military to become better at both detecting and conducting propaganda campaigns on social media.
On the webpage where it has published links to the papers, Darpa states the general goal of the SMISC program is “to develop a new science of social networks built on an emerging technology base".
“Through the program, Darpa seeks to develop tools to support the efforts of human operators to counter misinformation or deception campaigns with truthful information."
However, papers leaked by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden indicate that US and British intelligence agencies have been deeply engaged in planning ways to covertly use social media for purposes of propaganda and deception.
Documents prepared by NSA and Britain's GCHQ (and previously published by the Intercept as well as NBC News) revealed aspects of some of these programs. They included a unit engaged in “discrediting” the agency’s enemies with false information spread online.....read more....

Recently, Indiana University started an online research project called “Truthy”, a name coined by the ultra-right wing Steven Colbert of “The Colbert Report”._ ("TRUTHINESS") Of course, I jest! Colbert is as left wing as they come.
It should be noted that this project has been given nearly one million taxpayer dollars.
On their grant information page, it states this as part of its objective and goals: “Additionally, we will create a web service open to the public for monitoring trends, bursts, and suspicious memes. Have that sink in for a minute. Now ask yourself this: who decides what “suspicious memes” and “false and misleading ideas” are? Who determines what constitutes “hate speech” or “subversive propaganda”? Now read the last couple of words: “assist in the preservation of open debate”. I’m sure you can surmise what “open debate” means by the good fellows over at “Truthy”.
The goals and objectives of Truthy were met with critical reports from a variety of outlets: Reason Magazine, The Week, The Wall Street Journal, Media Bistro and Fox News among them.
The Truthy guys felt such criticism was hogwash and they stated: “In an ironic turn of events, the project has itself become the target of a disinformation campaign online and on TV.” Then they published a reply post for skeptics to read: The Truth about Truthy.
In their retort, they claim that all the fear mongering is bogus and state what the real truth of Truthy is…… truthfully. Among their truths about what Truthy truths are, they assert that it is NOT “a database tracking hate speech”. Wait……What? As I aforementioned: “This service could mitigate the diffusion of false and misleading ideas, detect hate speech and subversive propaganda, and assist in the preservation of open debate.” Got it. Thanks for the clarification of Truthy truth!
They also state in their true, truthful retort of Truthy’s critics, that they are by no means whatsoever, at all, not one bit, nope, not even a smidgen…. “partisan”. And you can tell! Because included in the article to prove that Truthy is being subjected to a disinformation campaign is a picture of Megan Kelly of Fox News. It’s the only picture featured on the truthful truth about Truthy article. Out of all the sources that published criticism about Truthy, they draw attention to Megan Kelly to make their point. Not that I blame them if the choice was out of pure aesthetics, but it wasn’t. It was because they are partisan hacks. And liars.
Since the truthful folks at Truthy obviously are hankering to sell what they deem is the “real truth” about Truthy (and shared by the Principal Investigators, Research Team and Alumni associated with the project), allow this humble correspondent to offer his truths about Truthy.

David Bohm was deeply influenced by Jiddu Krishnamurti, crediting him as a source for understanding the worldview he proposed in his interpretation of Quantum Mechanics that he put forth in Wholeness and the Implicate Order (his first footnote credited Krishnamurti's book Freedom from the Known - a treatise putting forth a distilled rendition of apophatic mysticism), and had a series of in depth dialogues with him that were published in the book The Ending of Time.
In On Creativity, he wrote of Krishnamurti, "I got to know Krishnamurti in the early sixties. I became interested around that time in understanding the whole thing more deeply. I felt that he was suggesting that it is possible for a human being to have some kind of contact with this whole [that Bohm postulated in his work]. I don't think he would want to use the word 'God' because of its limited associations."
The Harvard ThD student Miguel Marin noted also the "“lucid mysticism,” a synthesis between rationality and religion" favored by Wolfgang Pauli, that Pauli "speculated that quantum theory could unify the psychological/scientific and philosophical/mystical approaches to consciousness". We can see that if quantum physics has been corrupted by New Agers with quasi-scientific sophistries that have led even reputable scientists down the rabbit hole where realism and "mind-independent" reality - a.k.a. He was prepared to contemplate Hidden Variables underlying quantum mechanics as the reason why quantum theory could predict only probabilistically. (I believe this is the right way forward, although Bohm's own stab at a hidden-variable theory was scarcely an advance.) His religious views, which were not mine when I was either atheist or Christian, did not impinge on his science. (Neither did his politics.) Then came his book on the Implicate Order, in which they did so bigtime. I must be one of the few people who bought a copy of the original hardback print run. The kindest thing I can say about it is that it neither contained, nor showed any way to generate, testable predictions (which is the job of theoretical physicists).

What people here may not realize is how much Bohm was influenced by Jiddu Krishnamurti, the onetime wannabe "Maitreya."
Isn't it interesting that Krishnamurti and the Hindu underpinnings supporting the theory of a possible "holographic universe"( whether by way of analogy or not) are not being reported at sites having to do with Craig Hogan's experiments or his "holometer?"

It was not just Bohm who fell under the sway of Krishnamurti's charisma. He strongly influenced such writers as Joseph Campbell, the poet Robinson Jeffers, Henry Miller, Aldous Huxley, and Alan Watts who churned out popular books about Zen Buddhism. George Bernard Shaw once called young Krishnamurti "the most beautiful human being" he ever saw. After visiting Krishnamurti's castle in Holland, Campbell wrote in a letter: "I can scarcely think of anything but the wisdom-and-beauty-of-my friend." There were two Krishnamurtis. One was the persona presented to the world through lectures and books; a man without ego who led a sanctified life of celibacy and high moral purity.
The other Krishnamurti was a shadowy, self-centered, vain man, capable of sudden angers and enormous cruelty to friends. He was also a habitual liar. Krishna, as his friends called him, freely admitted his compulsive lying. He blamed it on simple fear of having his deceptions detected.
Krishna's closest associate was Raja, whose full Indian name was Desikacharya Rajagopalacharya. A native of India, Raja was as handsome as Krishna, and for almost thirty years a devoted disciple who served as his master's business manager, secretary, literary agent, and editor.
It was Krishna's good friend Aldous Huxley who introduced Raja to his editor at Harper and Row, the firm that published Krishna's many books. Krishna had little interest in writing or publishing, but he allowed Raja to cobble books out of his talks and notebooks, and to edit this material into volumes.
Raja's wife Rosalind was a beautiful American Caucasian who grew up in Hollywood, a friend of movie stars, who almost became a professional tennis player. Toward the end of Krishna's life an astonishing revelation came to light. For nearly thirty years, unknown to Raja, Rosalind had been Krishna's mistress! As such, she had undergone a miscarriage and several abortions, all miraculously kept secret from her husband.

Rosalind's passion for Krishna cooled when she discovered he was having another secret affair, this time with a shy, beautiful young woman, Nandini Mehta. Raja's passion for Rosalind also dimmed when he fell in love with Annalisa Begha, a Swiss-Italian who was twenty-three years his junior. After he and Rosalind finally obtained a Mexican divorce, Raja and Annalisa married.........
......After learning about Krishnamurti's secret love affair with his best friend's wife, Bohm felt betrayed. Perhaps this plunged him into his third and final deep depression. Hospitalized, suffering from paranoia and thoughts of suicide, Bohm underwent fourteen episodes of shock therapy before he recovered sufficiently to leave the mental hospital. Earlier triple bypass surgery on his heart had been successful, but his death in 1991, at age 75, was from a massive heart attack. Krishnamurti had died six years earlier, at his home in Ojai, of pancreatic cancer. His body was cremated.

I'd like to reiterate and expound on a comment I made at the close of my first comment on this subject (from last page). My take on monism is that it's not proposing ontological equivalence with the cosmos (pantheism = all is God, or God is all), but rather that we are connected as one spiritually with the universe (panentheism = God is in all AND all is in God). According to this understanding of monism then all are "one" because of the inner divine seed/"Christ"/divine spark, etc., and once one, through apophatic mysticism (a negation of self in order to experience deity), can, e.g. see/experience ‘reality’ instead of merely “maya,” one can eventually unite with the deity. However, to truly become “one,”we must first reach a critical mass (100th monkey, etc.) of folks who are onboard with this idea, and once that happens we can collectively ‘evolve,’ at which point we rid ourselves of matter (God’s creation, from a Christian perspective), then all the currently disjointed sparks/seeds can rejoin with the deity. This would be congruent with much of 2nd century Gnosticism, the Kabbalah (Isaac Luria, and possibly others), Neoplatonism, Brahmanism, etc. and current New Age/New Spirituality teachings.
Panentheism is best understood as two-part: the sparks constitute the ‘God-is-in-all,’ while, as Blavatsky terms it, THE ONE ABOUT WHOM NAUGHT MAY BE SAID (or “the Ineffable One,” or Brahman in Brahmanism), constitutes the ‘God’ who is outside all of creation, enveloping it, such that the cosmos is the “all” of the ‘all-is-in-God’ portion, with “in” understood as inside of ‘God.’ Thus, all the sparks/seeds are inside of the cosmos, which is itself ‘inside’ of ‘God,’ and by removing the cosmos, thereby freeing the sparks/seeds, these seeds/sparks can collectively (re)unite with ‘God’ (“the Ineffable One”).
Tangentially, I’ll go one step further and state that I believe that most belief systems labelled as pantheistic are actually, at root, panentheistic. Or, at the least, those who, e.g. adhere to strict nature worship will have no difficulty transitioning to a panentheistic view.

Seven years ago, Al Gore was warning us that all of the polar ice caps would be completely gone by now. I was warning of a caliphate.
For the past 10 years, I’ve diligently sought to awaken the Church to the fact that the Hebrew prophets point to a Middle Eastern Antichrist who will emerge from the region of Turkey, Syria or Iraq. Some have examined the evidence and recognized the solid scriptural basis for this view. Others have questioned, debated, or even maligned this perspective. The truth, however, is that although some naysayers have tried to cast this view as a “lone ranger” perspective, in broad historical terms, I have been far from alone in espousing it. In fact, many great Christian expositors have recognized the biblical evidence for this view. Many even foresaw that a last-days caliphate would be established in the region of Turkey, Syria and Iraq. In light of the astounding re-establishment of an Islamic caliphate for the first time in over 80 years in Iraq and Syria, let us consider a few of the great Christian expositors and teachers who foresaw precisely what we are witnessing today.
The first was Hippolytus of Rome (170–235). Hippolytus was an important theologian of the early third century. In speaking of the Antichrist, he said this:
“That these things, then, are said of no one else but that tyrant, and shameless one, and adversary of God, we shall show in what follows. But Isaiah also speaks thus: ‘And it shall come to pass, that when the Lord has performed His whole work upon Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, He will punish (visit) the stout mind, the king of Assyria, and the greatness (height) of the glory of his eyes.’” (emphasis added)
The second theologian who foresaw the Antichrist as emerging from the region now controlled by ISIS was Victorinus of Pettau (240–304). Victorinus was an early Christian bishop and the author of the most ancient complete commentary on the book of Revelation in our possession. In this ancient commentary, Victorinus identified the Antichrist as “the Assyrian” mentioned in Micah 5:5 who would invade the land of Israel only to be destroyed by Jesus upon His return.
The next witness is Lucius Caecilius Firmianus Lactantius (240 – 320). Lactantius was yet another early Church writer from the third century who wrote much on the end times. Amazingly, Lactantius specifically stated that the Antichrist would come from the Roman Province of Syria:
“A king shall arise out of Syria, born from an evil spirit, the overthrower and destroyer of the human race, who shall destroy that which is left by the former evil, together with himself. … But that king will not only be most disgraceful in himself, but he will also be a prophet of lies … and power will be given to him to do signs and wonders, by the sight of which he may entice men to adore him. … Then he will attempt to destroy the temple of God and persecute the righteous people.” (emphasis added)
Many are surprised to discover that Clarence Larkin (1850–1924), the great dispensational teacher, also foresaw these things. Larkin was an American Baptist pastor, Bible teacher and author whose works continue to sell to this day. In his book “Dispensational Truth,” Larkin wrote, “It is clear that the Antichrist is to come from Syria. … We are to understand therefore by the ‘King of the North’ the King of Syria, which also included Assyria. This fixes the locality from which the Antichrist shall come. …”

One of my favorite commentators is G.H. Lang (1874–1958). Lang was a magnificent British expositor whose commentary on the book on Daniel received the highest endorsement from the legendary biblical scholar F.F. Bruce. In Lang’s “The Histories and Prophecies of Daniel,” he said the following:
Therefore the Antichrist will be the king of Assyria with Babylon as his capital, which of old was in the dominion of Seleucus, who gained the eastern area of the empire of Alexander. Thus when the Antichrist arises, he will not come at Rome, or any where else in the west. Had this been understood, many vain and misleading speculations would have been avoided, such that of the pope, or the Papacy, or Napoleon, or others being he. And when he comes, his military efforts will be expended mainly upon Egypt and the south, the east, and Palestine.
Arthur W. Pink (1886–1952), an English evangelist and biblical scholar also well-known for his work “The Antichrist,” likewise identified the Antichrist as coming from the Middle Eastern region of the former Assyrian Empire:
“We have seen that the scriptures which help us to determine the direction from which he will arise, speak of him under the title of the ‘Little Horn.’ Now the first thing this title denotes is that he is a king, king of Assyria. … [After he] acquires the crown of Syria he will speedily enlarge his dominions.”
Now, to be clear, the various references to the Antichrist as “the Assyrian” are not ethnic denotations. Instead, it points to the region from which the Antichrist will likely emerge. In the same way that, for example, the prophet Joel speaks of the destruction of Philistia in the Day of the Lord (Joel 3:4), he was not speaking of the judgment of ethnic Philistines when Jesus returns, but of those enemies of His people, who occupy the region of ancient Philistia. So also do the biblical references point to Assyria as the region from which the Antichrist will emerge, but do not indicate that he will ethnically be an Assyrian. Today, the majority of the Assyrian people are Chaldean Christians. Most of those who had continued to live in the region of ancient Assyria have now been forced to flee the onslaught of ISIS.
All of these men of God foresaw the Antichrist and his empire as arising from the same region where we have now witnessed the re-establishment of an Islamic caliphate. All of these men looked to the words of the Hebrew prophets and came to similar conclusions. They foresaw in quite a remarkable way what has now unfolded before all of us. As radical Muslims continue to murder, kidnap, rape, behead, crucify and slaughter their way across the Middle East, now it the time for the Church to wake up and diligently study the Scriptures to discern if all of these events indeed provide us with a genuine harbinger of the coming Antichrist and the soon coming return of Jesus.

ISIS, ISIL or 'Islamic State'? Are They the Same? What to Call Iraq's Islamic Militants
ISIS and ISIL are currently both being used to refer to Iraq's Islamic extremist terrorist organization, but recently there has been confusion over what to call the jihadist group. While the U.S. State Department is using the ISIL designation, much of American media still uses the better-known ISIS. Adding to the confusion is a third name, Da'ish, which is being used by some Arabic media and politicians.
ISIS stands for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria or Islamic State in Iraq and al-Sham, and emerged roughly two years ago, according to reports. The highly dangerous offshoot of al-Qaeda is responsible for thousands of deaths in the Syrian civil war and has taken credit for terrorist acts in Iraq. The group, led by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, aims to create a Sunni Muslim state consisting of Iraq, Syria and other Middle Eastern countries.
However, the U.N. and the U.S. State Department have now started using the term ISIL to refer to the jihadists because of the group's broader mission to extend their reach into a wider area. In Arabic, "al-Dawla al-Islamiya fi Iraq wa al-Sham" refers to an area bigger than just Iraq and Syria, which English speakers refer to as the Levant. Thus, the ISIL acronym was created.
The Associated Press followed suit, justifying the change in a short statement.
"The term 'al-Sham' refers to a region stretching from southern Turkey through Syria to Egypt (also including Lebanon, Israel, the Palestinian territories and Jordan). The group's stated goal is to restore an Islamic state, or caliphate, in this entire area," the AP stated.
"The standard English term for this broad territory is 'the Levant.' Therefore, AP's translation of the group's name is the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIL," they concluded.
"Al-Sham" has also been translated to mean Greater Syria or Damascus, reinforcing the change. Still, many media sources use ISIS because of its greater circulation since the group's inception.
The final term for the al-Qaeda offshoot, Da'ish, came from Syrian opposition activists and social media users, BBC reported. The word still refers to ISIS, but has caught on among Arab media and politicians, even though the word itself is not Arabic.

I see no reason to doubt this report. It says that there won't be much disruption, but more worrying is the effect of larger solar storms. Only very recently has it been realised that the effect of the sort of storm that occurs every 200 years or so on the sun would be catastrophic to non-military-hardened silicon chips. There has not been such a storm in the era of integrated circuits, and they now control just about everything - car engines, electricity grid, water supplies etc. If you are looking for another factor for the apocalypse this is a plausible one.
