THANKS. Very excellent information vis a vis the State of Oregon and Agenda 21.
Thanks for helping to bring peace to this site as well!

Christine,
You wrote, re Iran, "who knows what the outcome - then don't do it".
That would have been a pretty good argument for not starting the
American Revolution, for FDR to ignore Pearl Harbor, and for all
postwar US presidents to let the Soviet Union do whatever it liked
during the Cold War - which really would have led to an invasion of
the USA.
Have you never heard Kipling's poignant phrase, "Making mock of uniforms that guard you while you sleep"?
You continue to provide links to sites that blithely fail to ask
*why* Iran is developing its nuclear program when it has all the oil it needs for its own domestic use, the nuclear program costs far more than use of that oil, and its president has said he wants to wipe Israel off the map.
HE is the man most likely to start WW3, if Israel and the USA does not stop him.
Your recent replies to me have consisted simply of insult. I presume this is because you have no reasoned response.
To Anonymous @ 1:45 PM
Christine may very well have grown up with a mother who was mentally or psychologically abusive towards her. If that's the case, she has my sympathy.
However, to then attempt to place those on the blog (who would dare to disagree with her) in the same category as her mother showed manipulative passive aggressive behavior on her part....meant to deflect from the issues being discussed.
This obviously invited a response from someone who was clearly letting her know that he or she was having none of that.
liar. one insult, which I notice took you a while to figure out. and a LOT of information incl. the process of reasoning I made based on that, and links to respectable sources saying the same things.
I can only assume you are either some kind of plant to prevent the kind of thinking that solves such puzzles, and therefore is dangerous in itself,
OR as I speculated, not insult just one possibility suggested by the facts of how you behave online here, that you are too afraid to deal with this,
OR some kind of a shill and watchdog combined for something whose interests are endangered by this kind of talk.
your choice of false accusations incl. lack of facts, etc. shows you are stupid enough to think I will cave to YOUR lack of facts (such as, lack of any explicit statement or hints that Russia and/or China will NOT attack to defend Iran) or
you think everyone else here is stupid. Perhaps you have a very high opinion of yourself, and are used to your opinion being accepted because you are you and that's that.
aside from your shallow "analysis" of routine behavior, which ignores that these are RAMPED UP NON ROUTINE, and/or SPECIFY AMERICA AS THE ENEMY IN FUTURE,
DO YOU HAVE ANY FACTS spec. STATEMENTS from Russia and/or China that they will not defend Iran with an attack on US forces and/or take the war home to us? Any STATEMENTS that EXPLICITLY say, go ahead, we will do nothing?
Put up or shut up and provide a link to it that works.

Conspiracy theory anyone? JFK relevant? E. Howard Hunt's deathbed confession.
Christine,
I am sincere in what I say and am not anybody's shill. I just
disagree with you. Incidentally I am not one of the Anons who have
speculated about your personal motivations; nor have I wantonly insulted you.
"Put up or shut up"
That's *exactly* what I've been saying to you. Neither you nor I has any real idea what Russia and China will do, distinct from their
posturing; we would have to have friends in the politburos for
that (Do you?) The Soviets and the USA frequently postured at each other, verbally and via warning shells, during the cold war.
It didn't lead to WW3. Someday something will (because God has told us), but you can no more say that this will than that Cuba would have done. All we can do is what we believe is morally right, and (at the personal level) keep faith in Christ so that if we die tomorrow we shall be with him.
Let's take this a bit more slowly.
Do you believe President
Ahmedinejad of Iran is *not* developing nuclear weapons?
Whatever else you say in your reply, please include a clear Yes or No.
Re: "E. Howard Hunt's deathbed confession."

for those impressed by that silly physisissst'sss arguments, some proof
giant fuel air bombs, USA and Russia, and the Russian is smaller and more powerful.
told you so number 1.
remember I estimated the Russians were ahead of us in FAE bombs? I based that on the existence of such, the publicity briefly during the INSLAW scandal which would have reached Russian ears, and time it took to work on it. Well, today I found it.
lighter and smaller so more easily deliverable than the US version, scaled up to nuclear equivalence, and FOUR TIMES STRONGER THAN OUR BIGGEST VERSION.
http://tinyurl.com/89stovr
So that calculation of mine was correct. the Russians point out that there is no environmental negative impact from its use, unlike nuclear bombs. The blast range is same or greater than nuclear.
Paul Craig Roberts says essentially the same thing I say about Russia and China getting into the mix, and he isn't the only one.
Maybe I am right on that one also.
Pray if things go the way they could, that its FAEs rather than nuclear and that if you are in the US your geography ends up in the Russian sector. At least they don't do religious persecution anymore. China is iffy. And FAEs shouldn't make any EMP, so the power grid won't go down except locally where shock or heat affects transmitters. Total loss of power would kill more people in itself than nuclear bombs would because too much relies on it, and the deaths would be far beyond the range of the bombs themselves. A high altitude multi megaton blast would fry equipment so it wouldn't work if the power was restored. A few of these would have a nationwide effect.

Christine,
You called me a liar in the first word of your post at 6.22pm. What lie did I tell? (If you think you insulted me in only one post, check your post of 1.48pm that ended 'Bye' and your post of 7.35pm about picking my nose.)
Second, you have ducked my recent question to you. For the benefit of Constance's readers I am putting it to you again, unchanged: Do you believe President
Ahmedinejad of Iran is *not* developing nuclear weapons?Whatever else you say in your reply, please include a clear Yes or No.
As for fuel-air bombs, which you have brought up again... the YouTube link you provide states that the new Russian bomb is equivalent to 44 tons of TNT. Tons, note, not kilotons or megatons as in nukes. The Russians have got that into a bomb weighing a quarter of that because they've found a chemical explosive 4 times more powerful than TNT - and perhaps slightly better than America currently has. (Stronger explosives than TNT are nothing new.) But there are limits to how well you can do using chemical explosives. You are never going to get tens or hundreds of times better - and nukes do thousands and even millions of times better. You can forget about megaton equivalents from FAE weapons - the only way to get a "multi megaton blast" would be to have millions of tons of chemical explosive, which of course is impossible to deliver by aeroplane: just as I said in our earlier exchange on the subject.
It is impossible to get a megaton equivalent, as you are talking about, with chemical explosives. This is because of the quantum energy levels of the electron orbitals that are involved in the explosive chemical reaction. If you want a megaton or even a kiloton bang droppable from an aeroplane then you have to use a nuke, which works on a completely different principle.
Eight tons of explosive in a fuel-air bomb, which disperses the explosive before tossing a match into it, do a lot more damage to a town centre (say) than eight tons of explosive let off in one place, and in that respect they are equivalent to *small* nuclear weapons, but this fact has been known for decades to both the USA and Russia.
In short: the YouTube clip that you provided to back up your claim, once it got round to quoting numbers, actually proved you wrong and backed up my earlier post about these weapons.
There would also not be any electromagnetic pulse from detonation of a fuel-air bomb, even of the size you suppose can be reached. Unlike a nuke, a chemical detonation does not release any gamma radiation.
I note that you are no longer talking about 'charging' the fuel-air bomb as a means of enhancing its destructive power. You were never clear enough on what that meant for me to give any coherent scientific response, but it couldn't do what you say; do you now accept that?
I would gladly educate you on science if you would listen, but I doubt that you would believe what I say, so please find someone like a high school science teacher, show him this correspondence, and ask him where the truth is.
PhD in Physics
Paul Craig Roberts I used to like until he got into the "blame America first" game, which always places the fault of wars at our feet first without even taking the time to analyze the history and motives of our enemies, or the possible consequences of our inaction on the world stage, as anon 3:24 stated.
He wrote (and still writes) regularly for Lew Rockwell's antiwar.com, which is a libertarian, isolationist backwater of the internet. I used to like reading Lew Rockwell, but his site had gotten too buddybuddy with the far left in their condemnation of America. It also had strong elements of antisemitism.
So we have: Far right meets far left. America (and by extension, Israel) is the enemy, and everyone else aligned against us has "just" reasons for doing so.
I'm so tired of this attitude. There is a measure of truth in it, insofar as our founders warned us of foreign entanglements, but it has gone way beyond that and into America-bashing.
I would suggest that far-right sites like antiwar.com and Alex Jones' site (to name a couple) are being and have been infiltrated by enemy agents for the purpose of creating a rebellious subculture who would take up arms against its own government when things start to fall apart internally. I have no proof of this, only a knowledge of past tactics and strategies Unfortunately, an effective enemy like the FSB doesn't tell you in advance what it is doing.
The same goes for the far-left sites. So that is why I say that at some point, and in a particular way of measuring (attitude toward our own government), far-right meets far-left.
Our government has its faults, to be sure. But to abolish it by force with a revolutionary spirit underlying such an action is folly, and would hand this country over on a silver platter to any other nation having designs on invading us.
Marko,
Agreed. Far right and far left have too much in common to be far apart. Think of the Stalin-Hitler pact. And remember that 'Nazi' was a German acronym for National SOCIALIST.

This is simply not true. The following article is from just a couple of weeks ago.
Russian Mission Group Warns Of Crackdown On Evangelicals; Anti-Putin Protesters Gather
Posted on: 2012-02-06
MOSCOW/BUDAPEST (Worthy News)-- As protesters demanding more freedom and fair elections prepared to demonstrate in freezing temperatures in Moscow Saturday, February 4, a major Russian mission group warned of more difficulties for evangelical Christians and other, religious, minorities in Russia and other former Soviet Union nations.
"Even as demonstrations increase, protesters hold on religion and civil liberties appears to be slipping in the North Caucasus and Central Asia," explained Russian Ministries in a statement to Worthy News.
"The situation in Russia has been building over the last several years, and is as much about religious liberty as it is about political freedom," the group added.
Russian Ministries, which is involved in several aid and education projects and evangelism, told Worthy News that recent reports "document an alarming increase in limiting the freedoms of minority or dissenting religious perspectives across much of the post-Soviet region."
It also said that Siberia, Russia, local courts have attempted to ban the publication of alternate religious books, calling adherents to Hare Krishna madmen. The group compared the situation with the Soviet era. "In Soviet times, cults were targeted for persecution, and evangelical Christians were purposefully labeled as followers of a cult.".....
...."A campaign [to limit religious freedoms] has been taking place in many regions of the Russian Federation for several years already, he added.
He said requests from the Orthodox Church, which closely cooperates with the Kremlin, "to local authorities to destroy rental agreements and other forms of partnerships with Protestants have become common practice."....read more....

Does anyone (Mariel or Susannah?) have a credible link which discusses potential dangers of Tai Chi? I have a Catholic friend who is contemplating taking it up and and I would like to warn him if there are any red flags but I can't find anything specific online.
Does it involve altered states of consciousness similar to Yoga?
Thank you.
A great research article to bookmark is this one:
http://blog.alexandredelvalle.com/archives/96-The-Reds,-The-Browns-and-the-Greens-or-The-Convergence-of-Totalitarianisms.html
http://tinyurl.com/6oef7m
It documents the historical relationship between Nazism, Socialism, and Islamism (brown, red, green). This is another way of looking at the "far-right meets far-left" phenomenon. Totalitarianism shows up at both ends.
The Antichrist will most likely come from an environment that fosters totalitarianism, which to me means he may align with at least one of the above three ideologies.
However, I think it more likely that a fourth totalitarianism is on the rise - one that rejects the red-brown-green one talked about in the above article, or that at least will be different enough that it cannot be said to be a part of some kind of convergence with them. It may draw some elements from them, or at least share some similarities with them, as all totalitarian regimes have certain characteristics in common.
What's interesting is that most of the people in the Occupy groups and New Agers in general are completely against "isms" of any kind. They want to be completely free from any kind of control over what they do or believe or think. Ironically, while New Agers rail against any kind of "totalitarianism" over their minds by fundamentalism (Truth), they will end up supporting the most totalitarian regime this world has ever known.
"What's interesting is that most of the people in the Occupy groups and New Agers in general are completely against "isms" of any kind."
Yeah, that's anarchism.
It is very unfortunate that such fine minds as JD, Bella, Dorothy, Mariel, etc. no longer comment here.
Christine,
To make the point another way - a nuke and a fuel-air bomb will both totally destroy the target. But 8 miles away from a 10 megaton-equivalent nuke you will still be toast, whereas 8 miles from the largest fuel/air bomb that could be dropped from a plane all you will hear is a boom (of the same magnitude as if the explosive used were not dispersed).
Ahmadinjad is NOT developing
nuclear weapons.
Neither Leon Panetta nor the
CIA's National Intelligence Estimate
believe that Iran has made the leap
from nuclear energy to nuclear
bombs. They don't need to.
The lunatic Ahmadinejad, just like
his lunatic predecessor Saddam
Hussein, is smart enough to
know that by goading the hawks
in The US he can get them to
"throw the first stone" at an
essentially innocent country;
innocent at least as far as the
trumped up charges against them,
and thereby have the moral high
ground.
Our "leaders" in Washington are
war hawks. The "leaders" in Israel are
war hawks. The "leaders" of Russia
and China and Iran and North Korea
are bloodthirsty war hawks.
They don't really care whether it's
justifiable war or not.
Paul,
You wrote: "Neither Leon Panetta nor the CIA's National Intelligence Estimate believe that Iran has made the leap from nuclear energy to nuclear bombs."
It's not a leap; you just leave the centrifuges running a bit longer to increase the amount of U-235 isotope, relative to U-238, up to weapons grade rather than nuclear reactor grade. Then you look up on the internet how to make a simple weapon that fires one piece of enriched uranium into another such that the combination exceeds critical mass and is well contained. Put the resulting warhead on top of a conventional missile and aim it at Tel Aviv. There is no way that the CIA can know what enrichment factor Iran's uranium-235 has reached unless it actually has spies working in the plants. Ahmedinejhad has everything he needs to nuke Israel, except perhaps time.
And you say *Israel's* leaders are war hawks! Ahmedinejad has publicly stated that he wishes to wipe that country off the map. Given that mutually assured destruction does not deter the suicide bomber mentality and that he believes the coming of the 12th Mahdi is imminent, what would you do if you were one of Israel's leaders?

Like Yoga, Tai chi is a form of what is called "moving meditation."
Here is an article from Belief.net. I will post the link here so you can see for yourself how it is part and parcel of the New Age Movement. Three key words:
"Yin, Yang, Tao."
MOVING MEDITATION: THE ART OF TAI CHI
According to Chinese medicine, the universe is run by a single principle, the Tao, which is made up of the yin and the yang which are two opposing, yet complementary principles. For example, the yin includes femaleness, the moon, cold, and matter, while maleness, the sun, heat, and energy are relatively yang.
"Chi" refers to our energy, vitality, or life force. And "tai chi" is translated as "all encompassing" or "supreme ultimate," because of its embodiment of both the yin and the yang. "Chuan," often used in the name, translates to "fist" or "boxing," and signifies exercise.....read more.....

More to the point, here is an article from THE REVOVERING DISSIDENT CATHOLIC BLOGSPOT, hosted by a person who came out of this Catholic-in-name-only New Age milieu.
She nails it by pointing out that a good part of the confusion like that experienced by your friend is the result of these New Age teachings being served up in our own Catholic Churches as something that is perfectly compatible with Roman Catholicism (NOT!!!)

I find it interesting that supposed Catholic parishes charge up to 3 figures for yoga, enneagram, tai-chi, labyrinth, channeling, reiki and other New Age non-Catholic (and in my opinion and in the opinion of other like,oh ,the USCCB) "classes" held on parish grounds or in the Church. I once attended yoga classes in the main church itself. It was a church with moving chairs so they moved them and set up the mats. I'm not kidding.
Yet Bible studies, RCIA, marriage prep are free or low cost - read they charge less than the fees collected by the New Age "experts".
Don't forget Confession and Mass don't cost you any money except may cost your mortal soul - priceless
I don't get why these New Age practitioners are making money in our parishes teaching stuff that in my personal experience flirts with powers and forces that should be left alone and encourages people to believe they need these "fillers" because Catholicism is lacking. Or, it cements the belief of those who think Catholicism is lacking by telling them they are right. I maintain that anyone, and I used to be one, who thinks Catholicism is lacking really has not even begun to scratch the surface of the treasury of the Faith.
Let me be even more frank: Why are we letting heretics teach this crap in our churches? Why not just hand Satan the keys and walk away?...read more....

IRANIAN PASTOR'S EXECUTION IS IMMINENT SOURCES SAY

A Protestant pastor in Iran faces imminent execution for refusing to renounce his Christian faith.
Orders for the execution of Rev. Yousel Nadarkhani have probably been issued, the American Center for Law and Justice reports—although the secrecy of the Iranian judicial system operates in secrecy. The human-rights group said that the Iranian pastor was alive as of February 21, but that he could be put to death at any moment.

The Eastern Rite Catholic Christians (Maronite) have also taken a beating.

Constance,
I think I've seen you comment on the new age organization called "Finnbar". Anyway I just saw a full page add they took out this year on page 91 of the Old Farmer's Almanac. It is titled "The Hand of God". It says to send a certain amount of money and recieve a monogram on how to tap into "Esoteric Magick" as they put it. You can get whatever you desire in life. It is kind of tricky because at the end it claims to be a Christian add and to see another side of Christianity. It even tells you you don't have to study the Bible or even pray. It is all about magick.

prophets warning Israel over and
over that they are about to fall;
to the Babylonians, to the Assyrians,
to the Chaldeans, ( see: Habakkuk )
etc., as they subsequently did fall,
of course, but every time the people
of Israel just told the prophets to

everything was fine and nothing
