Javier Solana vs. Tony Blair?

Post writing update: The editors of Foreign Policy magzine, by and large the CFR crowd, posted their own blog entitled "Five Reasons why Tony Blair would make a bad Middle East Envoy." This same crowd gave awards in the past five years to both Javier Solana and Tony Blair. This probably tilts the odds somewhere in the direction of Javier Solana's favor, but who knows? Stay tuned!

The developments grow more curious by the day. Tony Blair is no longer Prime Minister for Great Britain. Gordon Brown, Blair's former finance minister has succeeded him as both Chairman of the Labor Party and Prime Minister for England. Tony Blair seeks a new spot as envoy to the Middle East on behalf of The Quartet. People have come and gone with "The Quartet for Peace in the Middle East." The only player who has remained constant among all the various configurations of that and a predecessor effort, "The Mitchell Commission," clearly has been Javier Solana. Now Tony Blair aspires to the job of the Quartet's representative.

According to the Middle East Online News service:

US President George W. Bush has signalled his support for Blair, who has been his closest ally in the so-called "war on terror". But the EU's foreign policy chief Javier Solana is said to be opposed to the move, because it would detract from his own efforts in the Middle East, according to the FT. Schwarzenegger, who lavished warm praise on Blair for his leadership on tackling global warming, for his part said he was "very happy" there was discussion about Blair becoming the quartet's representative. "I think that he is without any doubt a great, great diplomat and is very very knowledgeable about this. And it will make me feel good if someone like that will be there and negotiate," he added. "But for a selfish reason I hope that he becomes an envoy for the environment... Maybe he can take on both of the challenges?" [1]

Watching who is commenting on this is even more fascinating. "Schwarzenegger"? Isn't he supposed to be the governor of California? How did he get in the middle of the Middle East On Line story? Oh, he happened to be visiting Tony Blair on his last day in office!

Only Javier Solana appears to be opposed. It should be most interesting to watch this one play out. For the present, I'm holding my bets! As usual, I welcome your comments and input! As Herb Peters admonished us, "stay tuned." Make sure you keep watching his website as well, linked to the right on my blogspot. Holly and Adam are doing a great job!

there is a thread about this over at FP. Several people, including myself, think it is a smokescreen.

My thoughts on the matter is that Solana's ideas might be executed through Blair to keep attention off himself.
If not maybe he is setting up Blair to fail so that way if and when Solana succeeded he would seem even better.
Just my two cents.

As I mentioned in an earlier comment, there is an interesting parallel between the efforts of the second in command for 25 years at the UN, Robert Muller of Lucis Trust connection, and Javier Solana, supposedly second in command at the EU.

Power Networks are so very important, and Solana has been developing his international network for many years. There is no way that Blair is competition for Solana even though Blair is more well known here in the US.

Blair and Solana are on the same New Age page. I agree with Dawn's theories. The political stage gives us such interesting theater.

Over at Carrie's blog she has posted a very interesting article.

The New Age movement has several part, spiritual, cultural and political. It appears the EU, part of the political end, is funding the spiritual end. Reminds me of the Nazis and their interest in the occult. Here are some excerpts from the article.

Poland has great interest in psychic topics

"I DID not know what awaited me when I was invited to conduct a series of inner mind development seminars in Warsaw and Poznan by the Institute of Valeology headed by Irena Galinska-Musiol.
Since Poland is 95-percent Catholic, an even higher percentage than the Philippines', I expected a greater degree of resistance to my ideas and teachings....

"The institute asked me to sign a three-year contract to conduct a series of seminars in Poland. Another agreement I signed was a contract for the Institute to translate and publish three of my books into Polish. The books are "Soulmates, Karma & Reincarnation," "The Magicians of God" and "Exploring the Powers of Your Inner Mind."

"Faith healers
Since the '90s, Filipino faith healers and psychic surgeons from Baguio City have done healing in Poland. ...

"The seminars I conducted in Warsaw were "Soulmates, Karma and Reincarnation," "Basic ESP and Intuition Development" and "The Power of Intuition in Management." The last topic was discussed in Poznan with prominent business leaders and executives....

"Hungry for knowledge
Irena told me that in Poland the people were hungry for real knowledge about metaphysics, spirituality and higher consciousness. That was why the Institute had been inviting experts in various fields from all over the world as they did not have such expertise yet.

"When I was there, the institute had programmed seminars on Hypnosis, Arcturian Sacred Geometry, Tantra Yoga of Sex, Ayurveda and other topics loosely labeled "New Age" in the Philippines....

"Since Poland has joined the European Union, there is great pressure on the country to catch up with the rest of Western Europe. This is why they need courses that will improve the creative and innovative thinking skills of the people.

"Before I left Warsaw, I was told that they got money from the EU to fund a seminar on Creative Thinking and Problem Solving. Next March I will be back in Poland to teach this subject and conduct my other inner mind development seminars."

I am inclined to agree with d on this one, as Blair in particular is a master of smokescreens.

Just for the record this is latest take on Blair's recent 'success on behalf of the British' in Europe as seen by the Anti European Union MEP Nigel Farage.

The Truth about the Reform Treaty

The Truth about the Reform Treaty

All across the EU, political leaders are telling their citizens what the new 'Reform Treaty' is all about. Yet our government are insisting that it is so minor we should not get a chance to have our say on whether we want to sign up to it.

Having read the document, I am convinced that the British people should have their opportunity in a free and fair referendum to say whether or not they want a further transfer of powers from Westminster to Brussels.

Gordon Brown is trumpeting a new 'listening' style of government, and I think this would be the perfect opportunity for him to demonstrate to us, the voters, the people he is supposed to be serving, that his premiership is markedly different from the 'spin and no substance' we have had to tolerate for the last ten years.

However, that would require him to admit that what we are being told by the government, in particular that 'No red lines have been breached' and that the summit resulted in 'Game, set and match for Britain' is not, in reality, what has happened.

To see that, all we have to do is look to European politicians for the truth. And what they are saying is that this is the Constitution without the dreaded c-word. The German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, stated quite clearly that “The Fundamentals of the Constitution have been maintained in large part...We have renounced everything that makes people think of a state, like the flag and the national anthem.” She was backed up by her Foreign Minister, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, who agreed that the mandate approved by the EU will “preserve the substance of the constitutional treaty.”

They are, unlike our own politicians, telling the truth. The new treaty now gives the EU a legal personality, meaning it can make decisions and sign treaties on the world stage as 'The EU', rather than Britain and all the other nation states signing it individually. The plans in the Constitution for the EU to have a single seat on the UN Security Council have also taken a huge leap forward, with an EU High Representative who has an 'automatic right' to speak on behalf of the UK at the Security Council. We have also given away the veto on foreign affairs, which will now be decided by Qualified Majority Voting.

More powerful even, than that, are the plans in the treaty to set out a Common Defence Policy. How long will it be before we have plans calling for an EU army? The ability of a country to defend their borders and interests is vital for any sovereign nation, and to give up control of these elements to an institution which will have a permanent Presidency, and therefore a permanent figurehead, and a new legal personality in its own right it madness by our leaders.

Britain has also lost the ability to block legislation in over 50 new areas, which, we cannot veto decisions which our representatives feel may be detrimental to this country. How can Blair and Brown possibly say that these decisions are in the interest of this country? The arguments for removing vetoes were to stop the EU machine from 'grinding to a halt', but if laws were being halted because they were not in the interests of this country, then the new rules will mean directives being passed without them necessarily being in the best interests of this country, as with so many of the rules passed weekly in the European Union. How is this in any way 'game, set and match' to any of us?

As the headline of Le Monde read, “The symbols have disappeared, but the fundamentals remain.” It is clear to me that the other countries in Europe are at least being told the truth about this treaty, whilst here in the UK we have a government who is denying the real impact of this new document and, fearful of losing the argument, will not let us have our say.

I disagree, and think that our politicians should let the people decide.

I don't know about anybody else, but I can almost hear the jack boots stomping down the streets of Britain as these unelected dictatorial shape shifters move ahead with their plans.

"Bukovksy, the 63-year old former Soviet dissident, fears that the European Union is on its way to becoming another Soviet Union. In a speech he delivered in Brussels last week Mr Bukovsky called the EU a “monster” that must be destroyed, the sooner the better, before it develops into a fullfledged totalitarian state."

Anonymous and SoberK

Excellent articles on The Truth about the Reform Treaty and the Washington Times editorial. - thanks.

With the amnesty bill being voted on by our senate this week and the full-court-press being made by GWB for SPP, we clearly see the US in the above articles.

May God help us to wake up.

Oops. The link above was another article that didn't contain the quote. Here is the link for the quote above. Both links go to important articles on the same subject. The EU will ultimately be a brew of all the best ingredients of Fascist-Socialism combined in mixture that would have made Hitler's mouth water.

Then the EUSSR beast will get tired of the 'Mystery' harlot riding its back. But she is too drunken from her sins, which are so offensive as to have reached to heaven, that she doesn't notice she is in deep, deep, deep trouble. She thinks herself Queen of all, i.e. "the worlds only superpower". For "Her merchants are the great men of the earth."

[And here recall: "The love of money is the root of evil." And also recall that it was also this love of money found operating in his Father's 'house' that moved Jesus to the most severe response of repudiation - forcibly casting out the 'moneychangers']

And "by her sorceries she has decieved the nations", and carried on a general career of fornication with the "kings of the earth". Drunken and licentious, self-indulgent to the extreme. She is on a binge the scale of which has never been seen before in history. Vanity, self-gratifiction, and decietfulness are her identifying characteristics. She believes she is exceptionally desirable and virtuous.

[Anciently, many sitting queens were also priestess-prostitutes, and considered as incarnations of the 'Goddess', Queen of Heaven. Almost reminiscent of certain t.v. personalities we can think of today.]

She considers herself entitled and deserving of everything she wants. She believes she knows 'the Secret' to induce God to continually Bless her according to the desires of her heart.

God, however, has something quite different in mind. Because the word of God is: "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." Proverbs

Thinking of European totalitarianism, and how it links to the occult, see what 'Ahnald' is sporting these days. That Ahnald really knows how to 'get with the program'. And did we also just read that Ahnald is hangin' with the Tony during his last day in office?

Many thanks for giving the link for that information sober k.

Now it appears a bit more apparent why somebody with past Marxist connections like Javier Solana would be so readily accepted by the European Union powers that be.

As far as they are concerned he would definitely have his heart in the right place.

Here is Constance's new article on News with Views
Here is my favorite part:

"They solemnly informed Christians that there were no theological risks to taking this body implant as "they were taking it voluntarily." Only if it was compulsory would the Biblical injunction against it kick in," opined Robertson employee Kickasola.

Well, traditionally, hasn't it always been the case that before one starts drafting, they always take volunteers? "

Thank you for saying what I have always thought since I first found out about Verichip and RFID tags. I can guarantee all of you that there are full threads about these things on popular end time message boards. The majority feel the same as Kickasola.

Here is my question how does the tracking fit in with the new age movement? Why do they want that?
How does it fit in with their goals?

Computer tracking has long been discussed in the New Age Movement. It was well prophesied as well in the New Testament, Rev. 13. How does it fit in? It's a control freak's dream! When I started researching Javier Solana, I didn't initially equate it with my New Age Movement research, HOWEVER, the Club of Rome flag together with the resemblance of these events to those prophesied struck me. The longer I have looked at Solana and then saw obvious Benjamin Creme/Share International expressions of approval about him, the more I have come to suspect that Solana may have been the one they were earlier pointing to that could not "emerge" as desired. Your guess as to whom the ultimate "dude" is obviously is as good as mine, but I feel much evidence points in that direction. For obvious reasons, of course, I hope I'm wrong. After listening many times to his speech of 3-21-2007, I'm more convinced than ever that my initial instincts were correct.
