INSTITUTE OF NOETIC SCIENCES ACTIVELY PROMOTES "MAITREYA"

July 17, 2008 UPDATE:  I have discovered that Lucis Trust lists the Institute of Noetic Sciences, co-founded and for many years headed by Paul N. Temple as part of the "NEW GROUP OF WORLD SERVERS."  You can find it for yourself by clicking here.

July 13, 2008: UPDATE: Farmer (Bjorn Freiberg) and Joyce supplied me with information about a Princeton University based "Global Consciousness Project." Reading the preliminary material on the link they supplied, I noticed remarkable similarities to old publications by Barbara Marx Hubbard about a "Planetary Smile." I suspected the Institute of Noetic Sciences was lurking somewhere even though Princeton is East Coast and IONS is West Coast. Following the links, here's what I found:

Contributions
The budget for the Global Consciousness Project is for
equipment and running expenses. You can make tax-deductible contributions to
help with the funding by sending a check to

operate.
Checks may be made out to IONS-GCP, earmarking the
donation for The Global Consciousness Project, and addressed to:

I decided to see if perhaps the New Age variety of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, co-founded by long-time Fellowship Foundation activist, Paul N. Temple was separate and apart from the Luciferic initiation type of David Spangler and/or Benjamin Crème and his Maitreya.

I am saddened to tell you it is not. It could hardly be more open and blatant. Here is a literal antichrist special from the latest IONS newsletter:

Saturday night's banquet speaker will be Wayne Peterson a recently retired
career US Diplomat who served the United States for 32 years. For the last 17
years of his career, Mr. Peterson directed the Fulbright Scholarship Program,
based in Washington, DC, but which is administered though US embassies
throughout the world.

Mr. Peterson started his international
service in the Peace Corps, where he founded the extremely successful S.O.S
program in Brazil, a privately funded venture which provided aid to the very
poorest citizens of that country. Melvin Laird, who later became Secretary of
Defense under Richard M. Nixon, was a direct supporter of Mr. Peterson's
project.

At the end of his Peace Corps tour of duty, Peterson was
approached by the American ambassador in Brazil, who asked him to become a
career diplomat and to serve in the embassy in Rio de Janeiro. Mr. Peterson
passed the qualifying examinations and was accepted into the U.S. Foreign
Service before his Peace Corps term was over. For the next 13 years, he served
in various diplomatic capacities in Latin America, Southeast Asia and, finally,
Africa.

In addition to being a retired US Diplomat of distinction,
Mr. Peterson is also a very spiritually evolved human being. He has led
Transmission Meditation groups for many years and is the author of the book,
"Extraordinary Times, Extraordinary Beings", in which Mr. Peterson describes his
direct encounters with spiritual masters such asSathya Sai Baba, and Maitreya, a
spirit being working to help humanity evolve. His rich life experiences as well
as his personal exploration of his own past lives promises to provide a very
fascinating talk.

Res ipsa loquitur: The thing speaks for itself! Stay tuned!

To those Catholics on this site, I read this article about the Pope's visit to Australia. Is he in good health? The article mentions his tiredness and needing rest. It made me wonder about his health. I don't remember those comments about John Paul until he was quite weak.

So, as "liar" is often one of your favorite words . . . I am asking YOU to stop the slander and the LIES!!!

"I don't remember those comments about John Paul until he was quite weak."

Deannie (12:53),

Keep in mind Pope Benedict (Josef Ratzinger) is 81; he was already elderly when he became pope.

Karol Wojtyla was a very youthful and athletic 58 when he was elevated to the papacy.

With that said, I've heard some "prophetic" murmurings that Pope Benedict himself believes he will have a short reign, and other disturbing prophetic mutterings that he will die a violent death. At any rate I keep him in my prayers, for many reasons.

You also have the "Saint Malachy" prophecies to consider. I'm not "up to speed" in this regard but maybe Susanna or Savvy could fill us in on these.

Is there anyone waiting in the wings? Even nonCatholics heard of Ratzinger before John Paul died. Are there any obvious next choices?

To Savvy, Elfie, and others

While I could understand how you might, I urge you to NOT judge Protestantism by much of what you see posted in the comments section at this blog.

Paul, Rudi, Joyce, etc. do NOT speak for all Protestants.

Someone mentioned a "breath of fresh air." Well, this guy, William Lane Craig, happens to be a Protestant who is a "breath of fresh air."

Check him out:

Elfie and Anonymous,

Thanks for your encouragement and support.

Doug, Thank you for being honest.

To Paul, Joyce, and the others.

Our views are often shaped by our experiences in life. I am sorry if you've been hurt by the church. However, there are many of us who are catholic converts, reverts, former Protestants, and ex-Christians who have found our way into the Catholic Church for one reason or another and our experiences have shaped our lives too.

You ask a very good question.

Some people follow these things ("Who's inside the Vatican beltway?"), but I am not one of them. I get all my information on the players second and third hand.

I'll look around and ask around. In the meantime Savvy and/or Susanna might have some info here.

Now we all are to sit around waiting until the next round of theology debate I presume. This blog is so off track that it is hard to imagine that anyone here is interested in exposing and fighting the New Age movement.

Perhaps posters should go back to ground zero and state what we think the New Age movement is about.

Deannie,

Here are some reliable links about the St. Malachy prophecies:

http://tinyurl.com/77yls

Here is the article on PROPHECY from the Catholic Encyclopedia. Scroll down to the "PROPHECIES OF ST. MALACHI: Concerning the Popes"

http://tinyurl.com/7r6jy

http://tinyurl.com/62kqp
_______________________________

"Will there really be only two more popes before the end of the world?

It would be very foolish to think this. No one knows the day or the hour when the world will end. Even if the prophecies are genuine, there is certainly no reason to suppose we are only two popes away from the end of the world. There is no good reason to suppose "Peter the Roman" comes immediately after "Gloria olivae". In fact, the testimony of many Catholic saints through the centuries who had the gift of prophecy points to a great era of peace for the Church before the final tribulation, none of which has come to pass as yet. So it would be unwise for anyone to jump to the conclusion that even if Malachy’s prophecies are genuine, that the end of the world is near. (I recommend Desmond Birch’s "Trial, Tribulation and Triumph" for anyone who is interested in the area of Catholic prophecy.)......read entire article...

As you can see, whether or not there is agreement on the authenticity of the prophecy, it is generally agreed that if the prophecies are authentic,

"The last of these prophecies concerns the end of the world and is as follows: "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End."

It has been noticed concerning Petrus Romanus, who according to St. Malachy's list is to be the last pope, that the prophecy does not say that no popes will intervene between him and his predecessor designated Gloria olivoe.(sic) It merely says that he is to be the last, so that we may suppose as many popes as we please before "Peter the Roman". Cornelius a Lapide refers to this prophecy in his commentary "On the Gospel of St. John" (C. xvi) and "On the Apocalypse" (cc. xvii-xx), and he endeavours to calculate according to it the remaining years of time."

I hope you found this information helpful, Deannie.

Dorothy said, "This blog is so off track that it is hard to imagine that anyone here is interested in exposing and fighting the New Age movement."

You are dam* right, Dorothy.

If and until certain people actually start to think about the CONSEQUENCES of their actions (riding roughshot over other faiths, particularly Catholicism and Judaism) and the effect on others, both directly and indirectly, this blog will go off the rails from time to time.

Wouldn't it be great to see researchers here who go to church, reads their Bible, do valuable research which they later post here for the benefit of others, actually began to take seriously their moral responsibility to act in an adult-like way toward people of other faiths (particularly Judaism and Catholicism)?.

Responsibilty for fighting the New Age movement does not begin and end with providing research. How we treat others is just as important, and speaks volumes about our commitment to fighting this movement.

I can only hope that some sort of turning point has now been reached at this blog, but in the end, this is down to the free will of individuals who have caused this problem in the first place.

We all have a role to play here in 1. Refraining from this horrible behavior ourselves and 2. Calling others out on it when we see them engaging it.

This vigiliance will help greatly to keep the discussion on track, and it will make this blog a much better and more effective place.

Dorothy,

Regarding Wayne Peterson, I found the following that you may or may not be aware of.

Apparently, Wayne Peterson was recruited for the Peace Corp by none other than David Rockefeller.

On June 24, 2000, Peterson was a guest on Coast to Coast. One of the more startling revelations in the transcript of the interview is when Peterson claimed that Benjamin Creme initiated him "by shifting his central point in a way Don Juan Mathus did to Carlos Castaneda.

___________________________________

"As a young man, he was introduced to the Peace Corps by the David Rockefeller himself.
This led him to the 32-year diplomat carrier within USA Information Agency. As director of Fulbright Scholarship program (now retired), which is funded by US congress, he was in position to travel world-wide and to meet important people, among which were groups acting very active roles in making current change in consciousness on the physical and spiritual plane happen.

His first contact with people in power which were involved in transformation of our global society occurred in 1982, while working in Washington DC for the federal government. One evening, in the usual process of unplugging the work-induced tension, he was watching a TV talk show, which usually held a number of short, 10 min. interviews. This time the host, Benjamin Crame, had only one guest, a famous writer Gore Vidal.
They have discussed Crame's book Reappearance of the Christ and the Masters of Wisdom. During discussion Crame (sic) said that he know that One, that Christians said was Christ, is coming back and that He is not alone. He called him Maitreya. He was back to help us because humanity has got itself in to a such deep trouble that it's current institutions cannot pull it out of the mess it is in. Conclusion was that the situation requires intervention of higher spiritual hierarchy.

Sometime later, without planning it, Mr. Peterson was present on a lecture during which the host, Mr. Crame, initiated him by shifting his central point (in a way Don Juan Mathus did it to Carlos Castaneda) and sustained meditation. Here he learned that Mastery does not permit the creation of religion, but allows a loose net structure of group of peoples, which are kept informed over Sierra International magazine.....read entire transcript...

For me, this begs the question as to how Peterson would have known anything about the "initiatory style" of Carlos Castaneda's alleged initiation by Don Juan Mathus???

Did he know merely by reading his books? Or was he personally acquainted with Castaneda? And then there is his stint in Brazil.

It is to be noted that while Carlos Castaneda claimed to have been born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, immigration records reveal that he was born in Cajamarca, Peru.

http://tinyurl.com/6ymckl
http://tinyurl.com/5a5jqh

Among the more disturbing teachings of Castaneda was his advocacy of suicide:

"Some former Castaneda associates suspect the missing women committed suicide. They cite remarks the women made shortly before vanishing, and point to Castaneda's frequent discussion of suicide in private group meetings. Achieving transcendence through a death nobly chosen, they maintain, had long been central to his teachings. "

http://tinyurl.com/2qzdn2

I personally knew two people who were effected by Castaneda's teachings. One was a friend with a close relative who committed suicide after completing the last of castaneda's books. The other was a relative of mine who came close to committing suicide.

I read all of Castaneda's books in order to understand why my dear relative who almost committed suicide was sitting in a near state of catatonia in the psychiatric ward of a major hospital here.

I am sure that any orthodox Catholic, Protestant or Jew reading these books would all agree that they ARE DEMONIC TO THE CORE!!!

Grasshopper (7:23),

Last night out of curiousity I went to the website recommended here for William Lane Craig. He is a philosopher/theologian based in California.

He has a free series of audio lectures on the subject "Christian Apologetics." I listened to one of the lectures and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I plan to work through the entire series over the next couple of weeks. I mention it because I think the information he provides in the series would be invaluable to you in helping to cope with the New Age mindsets you have been running into lately that you have described here.

Susanna (9:16),

Thanks for the great legwork on the Saint Malachy prophecies. I will be working through these as well and learning,

Clarification:

The Catholic Church teaches "world without end" . . . so we also believe in that long period of peace that's still ahead for ALL of us.

Anonymous said...

Yes, this is one of our Catholic prayers:

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son: and to the Holy Ghost;
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end. Amen.

Anonymous said...

Constance,

You are correct about private revelations.

Without getting into a discussion of Biblical interpretation, the "sola Scriptura" issue, the Catholic Rule of Faith, I think all are agreed - or should be - that the Bible must ALWAYS trump private revelations of which the prophecies of St. Malachi are but one example. And even then, their authenticity appears to be still open to debate.

Again, Catholics are NOT required to believe private revelations even when the Catholic Church - after carefully investigating them - says that they are "worthy of belief."

I want to make it clear that my purpose in posting information about the "St. Malachi prophecies" was to explain what they were to those who specifically inquired about them - not to promote them.

So anyone who does NOT believe in them doesn't have to worry about "going to hell in a handbasket." :-)

As the Bible says, we must stay awake because "no one knows the day or the hour......"
Matthew 25:13

Because while there are signs that will precede Christ's coming, Christ will nevertheless come "like a thief in the night."

1 Thessalonians 5:2

Anonymous said...

Susanna (12:57),

Thanks for adding that very important clarification about "Private revelations." This includes the "prophetic murmurings" I mentioned about Ratzinger as well as the St. Malachy prophecies (and, for that matter, Fatima).

It's an important point of doctrine and I should have done that myself when I first mentioned them to Deannie.

Dear Constance,

As a very short answer to your last mail, please find few links from my website, the "Page of Hope", mostly written in French but with few parts translated in what you might call "Frenglish".
1) Here a link to what I found right to write about the Europe of today:

http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Ithaca/9518/europeuk.html

2) Another link about what I found about Babylon the Great:

http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Ithaca/9518/babylonuk.html

3) A link to an article written about Professor Kurt Biedenkopf, a famous German Politician:
http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Ithaca/9518/biedenkopfuk1.html

4) Finally a link to an famous article written by Oriana Fallaci about Europe about ten years ago:
http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Ithaca/9518/honteeuropeuk.html

Of course, these papers are wirtten by a man and in no way a substitute for the Bible: It means that for sure there are things to correct and I am ready to do it if I am convinced about the value of the correction.

Best regards,

Pierre

Since several people are mentioning "Roman Catholicism" I thought I'd add what I learned over the years:

1)There is NO scripture authorizing a change in the day of worship.God's day is STILL the 7th day.

*Constantine "insituted rest on the venerable day of the sun in 313 AD" and anybody caught "judaizing" was punished.

2) Ratified by the council of Laodicea
c. 361

Carried a round Europe and elsewhere under pain of death by the Papal-Power!

3) In 376 AD the seat of the Babylonian Mystery Religion was moved to Rome

4) In 400 Ad power was passed from Emperor Justinian to the Bishop of Rome

5) In 538 AD,the Papal power achieved full civil and religious power and EXACTLY as prophesied in Daniel 7...

a) defeated 3 kingdoms to come to power
b) changed times and laws (Dan. 7:24)in removing the 2nd commandment from RC bibles, changed the 4th,split the 10th to cover their sin...
c) persecuted the saints of the most high for 1260 day/yrs until 1798 when the Pope was carried away captive by Gen. Berthier of Napoleon's army where he died in exile.
d)In 1929,Mussolini signed "the Vatican Accord" given the Papal-Power their current estate.

The bottom line is:

Roman Catholicism,or Catholic Romanism,as I like to call it,is NOT the Bible faith,Peter was never in Rome,it is nothing more than revived roman emperor worship and Babylonian Occult religion made to "look" like the Bible faith.

Notice,I avoid using the word "Christianity"?That's because when you research your biblical Hebrew roots, that becomes a whole 'nother story!

The names of the Pope are blasphemy.

Blasphemy is claiming to be God and claiming to have power to forgive sin.

It was Julius Caesar who gave himself the title of "Pontifexx Maximus!"

Paul said "You cannot eat at the table of God and the table of demons."

It is another Jesus and another gospel!
(Gal. 1:8)

It(and the Pope) usurps the priestly ministry of Christ.

It behooves all trapped in the idolatrous Roman Catholic system(who is the mother of harlots[churches]),to open a King James Bible, prove to themselves I speak the truth, repent and renounce the demon spirit of Roman Catholicsm while there is still time!

How many have been lost thanks to the lies they learned in the false relgion of Roman Catholicism?

Personally,I think the last Pope "Peter Romanus" might be the false prophet who brings all religions together under The Antichrist!

Richard
