HIS MATERNAL GRANDFATHER,

SALVADOR DE MADARIAGA

(1886 - 1978)

As I pen these final words towards the close of April 30th, 2007, I am viewing CSPAN footage on the European Union – USA Summit held in Washington, D.C. Jose Manuel Barroso, the EU Commission President and Angela Merkel are getting the up front TV coverage. This is not surprising as Javier Solana has, to my observation, kept a deliberate low profile in the USA. But he has been busy this side of the Atlantic. In the Year 2000, the “Solana coup” saw Javier Solana classify thousands of EU documents that had formerly been “transparent.” Today, it appears there was another Solana coup, this one dealing with EU/USA 'classified documents. The release from our State Department may be read by clicking here, that is if it itself has not disappeared by becoming “classified.” As always, promptly archive your information by saving to disk and hard copy. The lovely little game they play of “now you see us, now you don't seems to be intensifying!

Despite statements by Javier Solana that "I never planned my life," it appears that Javier Solana's life was planned -- if not by himself (improbable), by others. Obviously, Javier Solana was long and carefully groomed for his current positions. His chief inspiration appears to be his maternal grandfather, Salvador de Madariaga y Rojo. Hereafter, I will refer to him as “Madariaga.” To understand family inclinations, one must understand Solana's grandparents. His grandfather among his other prodigious writing, busied himself with all types of groups, right, left and center. He bragged that he could not be classified.i

Before beginning this portion of this series which will deal with the significant influences of Salvador de Madariaga on the life and work of his mentored grandson, I must confess that I enjoy reading Madariaga. He is very readable in the English and I suspect even more so in his native Spanish. I'm certain he would have been very entertaining as a guest at a dinner party. That he possessed as the French express it, savoir faire and the English, “great erudition,” is not at issue.

That de Madariaga was tempted and succumbed to the lures of occultism and its circles appears equally certain. That he supported world government and hated the USA for blocking same is a certainty. That he worked the left and right with near equal dexterity is most apparent. Regarding Spain's Civil War factions, Madariaga liked to describe himself as “equally distant from both sides.”

Madariaga was once amused to see his name on a list of Catholics teaching at England's Oxford University. He wrote sarcastically that he was so very happy that they could determine what he had never been able to determine for himself.

Indeed, it is difficult to determine where Madariaga sorted out on almost any issue. He was an apparent complex man of many seeming contradictions that make sense only if one understands, using New Age vernacular, a “third way” mentality. Madariaga denied being Jewish, but his writings express some sympathy for Europe's Jewish population and contempt for Nazi persecutors. He was accused of being Catholic, but his unwillingness to allow either of his two daughters, Nieves (Solana's mother) and Isabella to be baptized belies that theory.

He was supposedly opposed to violence; however, his spirited defense of the Mexican government's persecution of first its Catholics and eventually all professing Christianity belies that sympathy. He opposed national sovereignties and Communism with apparent equal vigor.

One thing is most certain. Salvador de Madariaga was an open proponent of a new world religion. It appears that Solana's interest in an Alliance of Civilizations may have had his seeds in his grandfather's instruction. Madariaga wrote in Morning without Noon that:

“Furthermore, I felt the need for some sort of a faith, a common faith that would hold together the world commonwealth. In the World Council of Religions there were some minds who then solicited my cooperation, guessing some sort of affinity; but in my view the several religious confessions, or as the English so wisely call them, denominations, seemed to me the equivalent of nations in the field of belief, so that they develop their own frontiers, definition and nationalism, even when they are not actually and openly nationalistic as is the case with some forms of Hinduism or Anglicanism.

“The religious slant in the search for an organic solution to the problem of peace seemed to me irrelevant. What was needed was a permanent state of consensus or at least of debate on what is going on in the minds of men, with a stress on synthesis. We needed a two-fold endeavour towards synthesis: one aiming at unity in the fundamental ideas on science, knowledge and the mutual illumination to be obtained from the confrontation of several disciplines and specialisations of our search fortruth; and another aiming at a unity or at least a harmony between the essential attitudes of so many peoples on earth . . .”[ii]

Similar to what would be the organization of “twenty eminent personalities” in 2006, 70 years earlier in 1936, Salvador de Madariaga organized a group of 19 such individuals in his “League Institute of Intellectual Co-operation.” He wanted this group to meet every five years and help set the norms for humanity.

Exploring Family Connections

Javier Solana displayed little about himself. He published a scanty biographical story, but what it omitted was as fascinating as what it included. He stressed that he was a “deMadariaga.” Early news stories about him reported that he was the grandson of a famous Spanish writer and diplomat. Some USA reports said he was the nephew. At least in the public press, he contradicted neither account. Congressional reports said his wife was the buyer for a Spanish department store. Several years later, in 2005, I was to read in the EuropeanVoice archived stories from the year 1995 that Javier Solana and his wife had “called it quits” early in 1995.

I was able to learn precious little, but as I would acquire pieces of information, I would archive and cross-reference them in an attempt to gain a fuller picture about this fascinating personality who seemed to be handed gargantuan amounts of power, but was practically unknown to at least the American public at large.

After beta-testing MicroSoft Office, 2003, I discovered the newer capabilities of PowerPoint to burn presentations to CD Rom – sound, film clips, and all. I decided this would be a good way to educate people and at the same time acquire a base of further observers. Herb Peters also had his website, “FulfilledProphecy.com,” up and running.

I soon heard from European correspondents, including Spanish ones. One sent me a picture of Javier Solana's mother together with her name, Nieves Mathews. I googled the name and found that she was a highly intelligent woman who had died according to an Italian account, in 2003. She had been employed by the Food and Agricultural Organization in Rome for 20 years. Her more esoteric and scholarly pursuits included researching “the invisible college,” Immanuel Velikovsky and Sir Francis Bacon.

She had actively communicated with New Agers whose work I had been tracking since 1981, including but not limited to Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh and Fritjof Capra. She was the older of the two daughters of Salvador de Madariaga and his Scottish born wife, economic historian Constance Archibald. Nieves was born in Glasgow, Scotland on December 3, 1917. My overall impression of her was that she was something of a free spirit. Her Italian language obituary included facts that she was the mother of two sons (Luis Solana and his younger brother, Javier) and had exiled in Great Britain during the World War II years.1 Luis Solana was born in 1937 and younger brother Javier in Madrid on July 14, 1942. To rule out that Solana's mother was not another, I read translated Spanish accounts. The word used in Spanish biographical statements about Solana's relationship to the famous Spanish writer, Salvador de Madariaga was “nieto.” The word “nieto,” clearly meant “grandson.” The Spanish accounts I found never used the word “sobrino,” which is Spanish for “nephew.”

I found Nieves' book on the life of Sir Francis Bacon and his alleged unfair historical character assassination. I ordered one from Amazon.com and therein I made my “Osho”/Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh discovery. She said that her “teacher Osho” had blessed her book on the life of Sir Francis Bacon. He had died sometime before the book's release by Yale University Press in 1996. Checking out my other Yale University holdings, I further discovered that Alice Bailey and Olga Froebe Kapteyn had earnestly and unsuccessfully tried to obtain his services as a speaker at their School for Spiritual Research at Ascona, Switzerland. Just about this time, I discovered in no small part thanks to Dorothy Margraf's persistence that I look more at the Mont Pelerin Society, that Salvador de Madariaga had bridged the evidently conservative right as well as the left, something his grandson would do years later in bridging from his past Marxist affiliations to being the new head of NATO.

Just about that time, exploring Javier Solana's Club of Rome connections, I found Salvador de Madariaga in my own second book, A PLANNED DECEPTION (1986). It was in the appendices, and was a list of endorsers of Donald Keys, Planetary Citizens. Keys was a former administrator of Lucis Trust and he clearly was a devoted subscriber to “the Christ is now here” movement.

ON MEETING "KIRK OF NOVI" AND HIS CODEFINDER SOFTWARE

Coincidences?

It was, as I best recall, sometime in 2002. I was contacted via email by a young researcher whose name I now recall only as Kirk. I wish I knew his last name and I wish I knew how to now reach him. He told me he had Bible Code software. I wrote him back and admonished him that I placed no stock in that whatsoever. I had spoken out sternly against the Bible Codes on my radio programs on many occasions. I frankly think that the vast majority of what I see on them is nothing less than pure speculative silliness. Searches upwards of 5,000 skips are likely to yield just about anything.

Kirk then called my listed phone. He said he had purchased an Australian program called “Codefinder.” He said he had the program in preference to other programs because it contained New Testament Greek texts as well as the usual Hebrew ones. I again expressed strong reservations. Kirk said insistently, you have to see this. He said he would come to my office and show me. I asked just what he thought he could show me. He said he had frankly purchased the program hoping it would give him a clue or two as to the anti-christ’s identity. He said he had installed the program on his computer and ran all the usual suspects through and “came up with nothing meaningful on anyone.”

He said he heard me discuss Javier Solana on my then regular Detroit Friday night program, “Law Talk”, including his Barcelona Process. He said he, on a whim, decided to run Javier Solana’s name through his program. To his astonishment, said Kirk, “it came up on everything.” He said he would come to my office and show me and I said “ok.”

Kirk came and installed the program on my computer. I viewed the results with astonishment and to make myself legal – being an author myself and sensitive to intellectual property rights – ordered via internet a copy from its Australian distributor.

To make a long story very short, using a grid skip not to exceed 1000, Javier Solana’s name came up on every Greek New Testament prophecy ascribed to the prophesied antichrist. It came up 22 times in the Book of Revelation alone. “Here is wisdom, let him who hath understanding calculate the number of the beast . . .” saw Javier Solana’s name cross the interlinear configuration as well as a smaller grid straight line one.

I am thinking now of the EU’s GMES (Global Monitoring for Environment and Security) program and wondering about the strange coincidence that his name straight lined in the same small configuration “he causeth all, great and small . . .”

Every letter in the Greek spelled “Solana” ran through separate lines of the 2nd Thessalonians, Chapter 2 prophecies on the “Man of Perdition.” Again, no rational explanation occurred to me for this astounding, perhaps coincidental find.

It was the three gospels: Matthew, Mark, and Luke, that truly “blew me away.” Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 all featured Javier Solana’s names running through the prophecies on the abomination of desolation. I looked with astonishment, seeing Javier Solana’s name run through the Matthew 24 passage – TWICE – on “Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives and his disciples came to him privately saying ‘tell us, what shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the world.” Directly intersecting it was a vertical straight line configuration of S-O-L-ANA, with his first name very close at hand.

Had it not been for other factors I had by now been tracking starting on November 22, 1995, I might have thought little of it. But combining this “coincidence” that some think God placed for a skeptical generation who accepted evolution but derided scripture, I felt that even given my own reluctance to promote the Bible Codes in any fashion, this could not be ignored. Javier Solana was battling religious fundamentalism, globally. He was now the “one voice” Henry Kissinger had desired to call for Europe. His job had been created with Section 666 of the Europa codified documents. He had proposed and obtained expanded proposed European powers with Recommendation 666. He was moving rapidly with “global governance” initiatives. Maybe it was all a big coincidence and Javier Solana was unlucky enough to land on all prophetic squares at once.

I felt as though I had little choice but to present it for what it was worth. As I told my audiences, “it might not be worth anything,” but I feel you are entitled to this information. As Kirk showed me, it came up also on all the significant Daniel prophecies and much more. The Greek was what I was comfortable and that is what I show here.

Continuing Javier Solana Story, Part VI:
SECTION 666, RECOMMENDATION 666

I continued my daily internet surveillance of Javier Solana. What differed now was that I had another observer to talk with – Herb Peters. I also shared information with another astute researcher, Chicagoland resident, Dorothy Margraf. We would inform each other about significant things, or lack thereof. In mid 2000, Javier Solana gave a speech in Rome which I read with both alarm and interest. He was speaking in Rome and midway through his speech he uttered the words, “Most important, voices in the USA have started speaking out against us – most unreasonably calling into question our Balkan policy – seeking to undermine the US position of support for our engagement.” He said he had flown to Washington and met with members of the administration. They told him, per Solana, “don’t worry – you have our complete support.”

But, obviously, Dr. Solana was still worried. He was very worried. I had cold chills as I read it. As far as I knew, at that time I probably was the voice speaking out against him. Everybody in official circles, save the 52 who opposed him for once pro-Castro policies, appeared to love him. I was speaking out loudly on as many national media as invited me for interviews about Solana’s Balkan policy. I rightfully pointed out that one of the greatest unsolved mysteries of World War II was that Hitler failed to reduce the Balkans before taking on the United States and Russia. It appeared to me as if Senor Solana had used us to reduce the Balkans, soon in part to be cynically called “Solania” for him.

In late June, 2000, Herb Peters and I spoke. He drew my attention to Recommendation 666, a bill introduced into the Western European Union Assembly obviously either by or for Javier Solana, who had been solely entrusted with that assembly since the previous November 20th, 1999. Recommendation 666, inter alia, as I read it had three most significant paragraphs:[i]

· Paragraph 12 which proposed giving Solana control over the emergency management machinery for Europe, chairmanship of the Political Security Committee (PSC), and “power to convene the Council of the European Union in the event of an emergency.”

· Paragraph 15 which referred to the CIMIC concept: “Civil Military Cooperation” reminding me so very much of the old expression attributed in World War II to Nazified German concepts of “You will cooperation, you will enjoy!”

· Paragraph 18 which had to do with the Torrejon space center.

As to the third item, I was soon to learn that this referred to the Galileo Project and the Torrejon Space Center, “the jewel in the European crown,” per statements by Javier Solana contemporaneous with the release of Recommendation 666. The USA had “nothing like it,” said Dr. Solana. Further statements down the road indicated that the project’s sophistication was such that a blind European would be able to go through European subways “completely unaided by any external device.” I was starting to suspect that the 666 bill number might not be entirely accidental, if indeed it ever was. I started showing the document to my hapless clientele and mentioning it on my weekly radio program.

Shortly after this, I was to learn that Javier Solana had reclassified thousands of EU documents as "top secret," removing them from the former European public domain. European cynics were referring to this as "Solana's coup."[ii]

One day, showing it to a cynical friend, I did a search to find it from my home computer. In inputting 666, I came up with still another highly relevant EU document – one which predated Javier Solana being handed full control of NATO’s bombing mechanisms and thereafter leaving NATO for his EU CFSP (Common Foreign and Security Policy) job. This was the very document creating Javier Solana’s job, Section 666 of the EUROPA codified documents. [iii]
Needless to say, I made very hasty phone calls to Herb Peters and Dorothy Margraf. I also gave my Law Talk listeners a good earful that coming Friday night!

What was found to my astonishment and wondering just what were the limits of “coincidence”? The creation of Solana Shareware in the form of an on-disk, pass-it-on, PowerPoint program. New discoveries. The Rearmament of Europe, setting his sights globally!

JAVIER SOLANA STORY – PART V

This is a continuation of my ongoing series on my discovery of Javier Solana and his growing powers. As I write this, I have made amazing discoveries of his relationship with the Strategic Foresight Group, a thinktank working extremely closely with the Alliance of Civilizations. Strategic Foresight Group has not been subtle about pinpointing what it calls 'religious extremism' as an enemy of civilization which needs elimination. It defines that “extremism,” inter alia, as both Evangelical and Protestant fundamentalist theologies. I am writing an article for NewswithViews.com on those developments. In the meantime, here is my continuing saga on Javier Solana. Those first few days in December 1995 gave Javier Solana relatively much press coverage most of which could be found on international news stories found on internet sources. Surprising, to me, was the relative dearth of American press stories. The Spanish press had much to say. Here is a sampling of items covered in that early press coverage:

• Javier Solana was the grandson of a famous Spanish diplomat and writer (Salvador de Madariaga)


• He lived “modestly” in a relatively small home in a Madrid suburb.


• He “ate little and slept less.”


• He ate “a monk's diet of fish and fruit.”


• His favorite hobby was collecting guns and studying famous battles.


• He was a former physics professor at Madrid's Complutense University.


• He held a Ph.D. In physics from the University of Virginia.


• He was a Fulbright scholar.


• He had been on the USA's subversive list.


• He was a former Marxist, officially same until September 29, 1979.


• He held many positions in the Spanish government, starting with taking a parliament seat as the representative of a Spanish teacher's union in July, 1977.


• He was mentored professionally by Nicolas Cabrera, the Spanish scientist formerly teaching at the University of Virginia. Cabrera was a major figure in Europe's collider project.


• He had a doctorate in physics and an undergraduate degree in chemistry.


• He was Spain's most highly visible opponent of NATO, known for haranguing crowds with the mantra, “we are radically opposed to Spain's entry into NATO!”


• He had been the proud author of a pamphlet, "50 Reasons to Say No to Nato"


• He was a member of the Spanish chapter of the Club of Rome.

It was December 1995. A story appearing in THE EUROPEAN newspaper the weekend of Solana's appointment to the NATO headship was headlined, “Solana Squares NATO's Circle.” I read this with interest. “Squaring the circle” is an occult expression of the concept of “reconciling opposites.”

We are now in 1999 and the NATO 50th birthday celebration is about to start in Washington, D.C. C-SPAN had announced they would give full coverage to all the NATO events, including the NATO meetings. It was to be the single largest gathering of heads of state ever to take place in Washington, D.C. I took Friday night off from my then regular radio program, Law Talk, and stayed home to closely watch and videotape the C-Span televised proceedings.
It was impressive. Heads of state were announced in using proper protocol of an attractive young woman making announcements of each chauffeured car's arrival. It was the only time I have witnessed Javier Solana with his wife, Conception. (According to the European Voice, the couple 'called it quits' in early 1995) She looked like a very nice person and the most seriously depressed woman I have ever seen. She was extremely thin and seldom smiled.

The next morning all NATO delegates filed into the Mellon auditorium. They smilingly met the two greeters at the door: William Jefferson Clinton and Javier Solana deMadariaga. The hall was dominated by an ominous looking huge NATO diamond enclosed swastika. Javier Solana and President Clinton took the podium. Javier Solana introduced President Clinton to the NATO delegates. President Clinton then took the podium and effusively praised Javier Solana for his “great world leadership.” He then returned the podium to Javier Solana. Solana promptly and brusquely ordered all media to leave. They dutifully trotted out.

It clearly took C-Span by surprise. They had announced they were giving full coverage. They had to content themselves with rerunning anti-NATO in the park rally reruns from the day before. When the NATO meeting closed, they were waiting outside and footage was caught of the delegates coming out of the Mellon hall.

In May, Solana gave orders that the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia could halt. There was speculation about Solana's reappointment to the NATO headship when his term would end at the end of 1999. He left that post a little early to take the post hailed by the European press as “Senor PESC” -- to be the “tsar” of European military and foreign policy as both Secretary General of the Council of the European Union and the “Office of the High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy.” He was knighted by the Queen of England and honored at the Pentagon as one of Spain's great men. He took his new European Union post in October 1999. Just a few short weeks later, it was announced that the ten permament member Western European Union was dissolving to fold its power into Solana's agency in the European Union – CFSP. For its last year in operation, it was announced, Javier Solana would be exclusively in charge. This happened on or about November 20, 1999 On November 20, 1995, Solana took part in a very exclusive party for 'global governance.' Held in Sir Harold Acton's former villa now owned by the New York University School of Law near Florence, Italy, it reportedly made Buckingham Palace and the White House look almost like 'shabby digs.' It featured priceless art work on the walls. Mr. & Mrs. Tony Blair, Gerhard Schroeder, the Clintons, and Javier Solana, inter alia, were in attendance. Presidential advisor Sidney Blumenthal was both coordinating and acting as Master of Ceremonies. Blind Italian tenor Andre Boticelli, was singing arias.
That event, if you care to follow up on it, is indexed and duly reported on page 666 of Blumenthal's book, THE CLINTON WARS. Another coincidence? I have long speculated that the real purpose of the party was perhaps to celebrate the handing of power by the ten WEU countries to Javier Solana. Hopefully, I'm wrong.

About that time I began to wonder if I wasn't perhaps crazy for seeing things nobody else appeared to be seeing. Was I connecting dots nobody else was connecting? I did a google search using the outrageous terms, “Javier Solana” “antichrist.” Up came an article by a religious writer for a California paper. His name was Herb Peters. It was entitled, “It is wise not to ignore Biblical prophecy.” It talked about the ten countries handing this power to Javier Solana. I printed it, read it many times, and finally screwed up my courage and decided to give him a call in late 1999. I called the newspaper publishing him which graciously gave me a phone number to a California insurance agency which was his day job. The rest is history.

How to get word out of these potentially signficant developments without sounding unduly alarmist and providing for the hoped for alternative that we could be wrong, but did not want to be guilty of silence if we were not.

JAVIER SOLANA AND THE USA -- GETTING TO KNOW HIM AND WHAT IT MEANS

Part IV of a Continuing Series


Daily, I went home and logged on the then relatively slow internet dial up connections. Javier Solana’s influence was clearly not diminishing. It was reported that a Sarajevo, Yugoslavia television station had been “taken out” by Wesley Clark because Javier Solana had reported to him it was “interfering with democracy.” Its alleged crime was said by some that they attempted to remain neutral by alternating news coverage between the two sides to that Balkan conflict.[i]

Fast forward to 1999. This was the year that NATO would celebrate its 50th anniversary. Javier Solana was at its head. A BIG celebration was planned and held in Washington, D.C. It was scheduled for April 23-25, 1999. Washington, D.C. security was to be tight. It was to be the largest gathering in Washington, D.C. ever of foreign officials.[ii]

A few weeks prior to that, March 21, 1999, to be precise, it was Sunday morning. I awoke with one of my more painful from time to time migraine headaches. I normally would have dressed for church about this time, but it was clear I was going nowhere with that headache. I swallowed three Vanquish, my usual remedy and headed back to bed to nurse the headache and shield my head from painful light. As I did so, my husband switched on our bedroom television. CBS’ popular news program, Sunday Morning, was airing. For me, it was almost surrealistic. As I was laying there coping with the painful headache, I heard an unusual interruption of Sunday Morning. The host came in and said, “We interrupt this program to bring you a very important announcement. Javier Solana, the Secretary General of NATO has announced that the bombing of Yugoslavia might start within a very few hours.” Crowds milled about the streets of Yugoslavia protesting the planned NATO actions and waving flags with the NATO small swastika morphed into the larger former Nazi one.

As soon as the headache sufficiently lifted, I did not go to church. Besides the headache was to be an all day, off and on one. I went down to the basement computers and logged on, using the Alta Vista search engines. I found a speech where Javier Solana was accepting an award. As I recall, it may have been the Christian Herter award. In the text of the speech, he mocked George Washington’s advice to Americans to ‘avoid entangling foreign alliances.” “Why, those entangling foreign alliances are good for you,” chortled Solana. I noted to myself that it took a lot of cheek to come into a country and mock the national icons as Solana had done. Then, in that speech, Javier Solana told the listeners that he had been given exclusive authority to make the military decisions over Yugoslavia, including whether to bomb or not. He then said that he didn’t intend to use it without “checking in with the others, but, nevertheless, the power is mine and mine alone.”

I didn’t take Senor Solana’s word for it. I traveled online to Madeline Albright’s United States Department website. She had a statement published about it. On line she said that “Javier Solana has the power and has had it since January 30th. We are speaking with one voice through Javier Solana.”

That night, all day in pajamas, due to the off and on headache, I was home when many Christian Americans were in Sunday night services. President Clinton came on television to address the nation about the pending bombings. I watched carefully. He never said, “this is what I plan to do” or “this is what we plan to do” or even, “this is what the leaders of the world community think wise.” Instead he said, “I agree with Javier Solana’s decision to do this.”

Nobody publicly to my knowledge ever said, “Who’s Javier Solana?” It seemed to go over everybody’s head.

The bombings started and they seemed, at least to me, cruel and clearly hitting civilian targets. That was termed “collateral damage.” Driving to court one day, I heard news reports on our local radio station WWJ that Pope John Paul II had sent emissaries to Brussels with the concurrence of an Eastern Orthodox patriarch asking that they be allowed to intervene and mediate a settlement. They requested a truce between “the two Easters.”

On Good Friday, April 2, 1999, I was to read small headlines in Detroit’s DETROIT NEWS, “Pope rebuffed.” It was occurring to me that Javier Solana had little or no respect for anyone or anybody. A later picture of the Pope and Eastern Orthodox patriarchs sitting together appeared much like two thoroughly depressed and defeated old men.

I saw United States Senator Spencer Abraham, a former guest on my Detroit radio show at a banquet a week after Easter, on the same day as the Orthodox Church’s Easter. I asked him point blank, “why did we hand all that power to Javier Solana?” His answer astounded me. He told me that quite honestly he couldn’t make sense of the Yugoslavian policy himself. He then said that he believed it was “Bill Clinton hiding behind Javier Solana.” He said, “things happen like that in politics, you know.”

Yes, I know things happen like that in politics. But this time, I had the distinct impression that President Clinton was, like they say in the more crude vernacular, “sucking up.” Then Spencer Abraham, the junior senator from Michigan in his first and only term in a year of a Democratic administration volunteered something very startling to me. He said he had met Javier Solana “personally.”

“Oh,” I replied. Senator Abraham then told me that he and all the other United States senators had been flown to Brussels, Belgium to meet Javier Solana.”

That is when I confess I became more than a little scared. I worked in government long enough to know that when an agency is receiving heavy funds from us that we don’t fly our people there. They fly here and walk ever so humbly with their small entourage through the Senate office building, at least to the members of the funding and appropriation committees. We flew our entire Senate to Brussels to meet this former Marxist, long a member of our subversive list? Incredible.

My serious watching of Javier Solana had just begin. He had posted a handy biographical statement. In it he noted he was a member of the Spanish chapter of the Club of Rome. He also said he was married to the former Concepcion Jimenez and had two children. Several years later, reading the 1995 archives of the European Voice, I would learn that his wife did not join him on his Brussels NATO position because “the couple had called it quits” six months earlier in 1995.

My searches yielded fascinating and tantalizing results. I learned from then available MFA (Israeli) websites that Javier Solana was the “true author” of the “Israeli Peace Process.” They said he, a then Spanish governmental official, had told them that he had Arab friends and they should go and do likewise.

Interestingly, about this time the information on the 7.2 earthquake began to literally vanish from the web, although not as much as the earthquake historical revisionists might have hoped. I was startled to read that Gulf of Aqaba engineers were catching much criticism for not designing buildings that would withstand a 6.2 mw quake. Wait! That earthquake was, per the US Geological service, one of 7.2 magnitude. Usually the earthquake, like the catching of the fish, grows with every telling of the tale. This was was growing smaller with each telling of the tale. What was happening here?

My personal and yet undiminished suspicion is that the earthquake (which was eventually admitted by the same sources, Israeli Geological Service – a part of the “Peace Process”, to indeed be a 7.2 mw quake with 10,000 aftershocks, was played down because of its proximity in time I that strong “Left Behind” culture with the signing of a major treaty between the EU and Israel. There are three major world religions centered in that part of the world. All three might have read something into a major earthquake coming in the wake of the treaty signing and just before the launching of the Barcelona Process. For sure, Jews, Christians, and Moslems might have read different things into the seismic event, but for sure, they would have read something. Fortunately for the historical record, the US Geological service, the University of Michigan’s and University of Ohio’s joint seismic research center and the Ontario Earthquake Research Center maintained plate records, which were conveniently available on line:

President Clinton flew to Madrid to attend a Spanish royal banquet and congratulate Javier Solana, whom he termed, “a great world leader,” for his new NATO appointment.

Solana’s reign was beginning. In 1996, Boris Yeltsin would tell Russians as he campaigned for re-election to the Russian presidency: “you’d better vote for me – I’m the only one who can stand up to Javier Solana.”

He didn’t. Russia signed the Treaty of Association with NATO in 1997. It was said that Boris Yeltsin did it as a face saving measure.

JAVIER SOLANA’S SPEEDY RISE TO GLOBAL POWER – Part II of Series :

As I write these words in mid-March, 2007, Javier Solana has had a busy week in the Middle East. Most Americans still fail to recognize his name. Personally, I have been closely and daily observing his Middle East work and growing international prominence since November 22, 1995.[i]

From my ongoing perspective in drafting this article, we are back in time on the early morning of November 22, 1995. I awoke to read articles about a large Eilat, Israel epicentered earthquake, 7.2 mw. Going to links detailing the earthquake story, I noticed headlines reading, “EU – Israel enter into Treaty.” There I was to be ushered into a story that a comprehensive Treaty of Association between the European Union and Israel had been negotiated and achieved by Javier Solana acting under a full power of attorney from the European Union and the ten nation “Western European Union, a military federation.” Searching my CD Rom computer data bases for more information on the persona of Javier Solana, I learned he had sent 3 Spanish warships against Canada earlier in that year in his position as Foreign Minister for Spain. There had been a near shooting war at high sea between Spain and Canada over fishing rights.
While I was reading the CD Rom fishing war story, AOL flashed another story at me on the computer screen. This was about something called “The Barcelona Process.” It opened by saying that the earthquake had come in the wake of an expected political earthquake in the form of the Barcelona process expected to conclude the Barcelona Treaty. Javier Solana would be exclusively in charge. There were three major items on the agenda:

1. Battle religious fundamentalism: Worldwide;

2. Favorable mutual trading terms for the basin, leading to a Mediterranean Free Trade Zone by the Year 2010.

3. Get the USA out of the Mediterranean and/or greatly reduce its presence there.

I read on, not with a small amount of fascinated interest. The USA had “requested participant status.” They were granted “observer status only.” Thanks to a certain proficiency in computer use, I, too had “observer status.” My status was the poor man’s way. I calmly pulled down drafts of proposed working documents, press releases as the event progressed and articles about the event.

Javier Solana opened the conference on November 27th, 1995 by saying that it was auspicious that the event had opened on the 900th anniversary of the calling of the First crusade by Pope Urban II. “What a lot of intolerance and misunderstanding that led to,” proclaimed Solana. He announced that they were there in large part for that reason – to straighten out the clash of civilizations.

The conference concluded on November 28, 1995. Javier Solana achieved his treaty. He was given sole credit for “the diplomatic accomplishment.” Ehud Barak was present representing Israel. Yasser Arafat was present representing the Palestinian Union. Both figuratively slobbered all over Javier Solana. Ehud Barak’s reported remarks were that “Israel had joined ‘the European Club;’” “these were the benefits of belonging to the European Club”, and “we have beaten our swords into plowshares”

On the evening of November 28th, 1995, I sent warning emails to my entire distribution list: WATCH OUT FOR THIS GUY! I was referring to Javier Solana.

Two days later, my phone was to vigorously ring. “Turn on your television, quick!” instructed my caller. I turned it on and was to behold the face of Javier Solana for the first time. He had just been unanimously made the new head of NATO. Javier Solana had literally come to global power in ten days of November, 1995.

Part 1:

The deplorable lack of curiosity from too many Americans about the growing influence of Javier Solana never ceases to amaze me. The former Marxist and Club of Rome member headed NATO for four years (1995-1999). He has been the “tsar” for the Common Foreign and Security Policy for the European Union since October 1999. He has been the Secretary General of the European Period for the same period of time. On or about November 20, 1999, he was handed control of the Western European Union, a ten permanent member military federation. His “interim title” there was to be “Secretary General of the Western European Union. I say “interim” because that WEU job was to have ended a year after its creation as its powers were to be folded under his EU offices. That year has lasted a very long time. To be precise, it is going on its ninth year. The WEU bully pulpit has served Dr. Solana very well during those periods of time there was internal EU bickering and hesitation over his “Foreign Minister designate” for the European Union constitution which never came to pass.

This article was precipitated by reading this evening that Tony Blair plans to push for the European Union in general and Javier Solana in particular to run its foreign policy and join with German’s Chancellor Angela Merkel in boosting his (or his successor’s, if any there be) power.

Interestingly, Javier Solana’s current EU job (Secretary General and CFSP High Representative) were created and codified in Section 666 of the Europa official documents. Coincidence? Maybe yes, maybe no. It read almost like like a passage from the book of the Prophet Daniel describing an end times personality:

In December the Vienna European Council expressed the opinion that the Secretary-General of the Council and High Representative for the CFSP should be appointed as soon as possible and be a personality with a strong political profile. It invited the Council to prepare common strategies on Russia, Ukraine, the Mediterranean region and the western Balkans, on the understanding that the first would be on Russia. Welcoming the new impetus given to the debate on a common European policy on security and defence, the European Council also noted that the CFSP should be backed by credible operational capabilities (1).

Both the verbiage and its cadence strangely (perhaps unreasonably) reminded me of a passage from the Book of Daniel:

"And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land." Daniel 8:9

Another coincidence, I guess. Toward the south (Mediterranean region); toward the east (Russia, Ukraine, western Balkans), toward the pleasant land (Solana’s big emphasis on Israel?).
Well, enough for such musings. What’s happening with Solana present tense. He proposed expanded powers over the European Union over and above his initial CFSP (Common Foreign and Security Policy) with Recommendation 666, a bill presumably introduced by him or at his request in the Western European Union Assembly. Remember, Javier Solana was fully in charge of that body when the bill was entered on June 1, 2000.[1] The most important part of that all important document was numerical paragraph 12. It read:

"Support proposals for the WEU Secretary-General and CFSP High Representative to preside over the PSC and civilian crisis-management machinery and give him powers to convene the Council of the European Union in the event of an emergency;"

I can just hear now deceased, old political acquaintance and long time mayor of Detroit’s Coleman Young’s probable dissection of that power: “That my friends is a whole lot of [expletives deleted] power!”

And so it is. It was also a whole lot of power granted him to have emergency powers to shut down the Galileo space project. It was a whole lot of power for him to represent all major powers of the world before Iran on June 6, 2006, when he toured to Teheran on behalf of the United Nations Security Council, NATO, the European Union, the Western European Union, and the G-8 nations.

The divisions between the United States and the European Union are deep and growing. There is an interesting prophecy contained in the Biblical Book of Revelation. It reads:

“And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. Rev. 17:12-13 (KJV)

Those ten horns were going to hate some entity. Many Protestants like to say it is the Roman Catholic Church. Many Catholics like to reverse that and say it is Protestant nations. An increasing number are speculating that the prophetic specifications might more accurately fit the United States herself. In Revelation, we read:

“And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” Rev. 17:16-18 (KJV)

I literally awoke to Javier Solana on November 22, 1995. I awoke at 3 a.m. that morning. Too late for a sleeping pill, if I was to be alert for court the next morning, I tried my next best sleeping remedy of sitting in my husband’s chair and reading a book boring enough to cause soon-following shuteye. I read for an hour, only to find myself wider awake than when I began. Disgusted, I remember thinking to myself, “if I can’t sleep, I might as well go check my email. I logged on to America on Line (AOL) and was greeted with breaking news. Israel had just suffered a major earthquake. Epicentered near Eilat in the Red Sea border region between Israel, Jordan, and Egypt. That Gulf of Aqaba seismic event, reported by the United States Geological Service as a 7.2 mw quake of “worldwide significance” had reportedly violently shaken the entire North African plate. Violent damage followed in its wake. The next day I was to read that royal heads had rolled from the multi-millennia old undisturbed mummies in Egyptian pyramids.

On that November 22, 1995 morning, while following the earthquake links, I opened a side headline which read

"EU, ISRAEL ENTER INTO TREATY"

Of course in that 1995 “Left Behind” consciousness culture, that interested me. I clicked on that link, which was to be my initial introduction to Dr. Javier Solana. I was to read that he had negotiated and signed the treaty on behalf of the European Union, “acting under a full power of attorney” from “the European Union” and “the ten nation Western European Union, a military federation.” I went to myself, “who is this guy?”

I must confess that when I started my initial research on the New Age Movement in 1981, I read prophecies by them that one day they would have all the world’s books on a few CD Roms and could cruise them instantly for information without reading them. I remember quipping to husband Barry, “ha! That’s one of their better ideas. I’ll get the first collection. That way I can keep up with them and clean house at the same time.” I will further confess that I am sure I had one of the world’s first really serious CD Rom collections. I wish now I had what was spent on its acquisition, particularly given its soon diminishing retail value. But that night, the collection was indeed handy. I pulled out an archived set of business articles and did a name search for “Javier Solana.” I immediately learned that he had sent Spanish warships against Canada in what had been a near shooting war at high sea. While I was reading that, AOL placed a new story on line. It was to the effect that the earthquake that morning had come in the wake of an expected “political earthquake” in the form of the Barcelona Conference, part of the beginning “Barcelona Process.” That was a group of 15 European countries and 12 Middle East and North Africa ones. The only country from that region not participating was, per that article, Libya. Muammar Khadafy had reportedly screamed at Arab delegates to a recent conference, “What’s the matter with you idiots! Can’t you see this is a blatant European attempt to gain hegemony [control, influence] over our region?” That’s exactly what it was.

If God could speak once through Baalam’s ass, he could speak once through Muammar Khaddafy. Maybe on that occasion he did.

JAVIER SOLANA IS CALLING MORE GLOBAL SHOTS!

I’ve had a busy two week period, punctuated by an octave-lowering cold (thankfully now recovered), court appearances, and a client with a messy administrative law situation to deal with. So my time to look in on Javier Solana and followup on what I was reading was somewhat diminished. I must be in court at 8:30 a.m. and I am still in my office. I decided to take a peek at Javier Solana’s google news headlines before departing. I’m sorry I did. It is going to further impact my needed nightly rest.

My last blogspot article covered Solana’s February 14th Arthur Burns Fellowship speech in New York. He was introduced by the German Ambassador as “the face and voice of Europe.” Solana’s own speech was even more expansive. It was clearly global in scope, discussing broad outlines of the “New World Order,” including but not limited to peace and dialogue between religions and cultures (Alliance of Civilization) and continent wide systems (regionalization). He was clearly talking B I G, as somebody who clearly saw themselves as having mandated input in the system.

"European Union Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana has warned that the United Nations might resort to Chapter 7 of the world body's charter if the formation of an international tribunal into Hariri's probe was not approved by the Lebanese parliament.Solana, at a joint press conference with parliament's majority leader Saad Hariri in Brussels on Wednesday, said: "All members of the Security Council are ready to exert efforts to establish the international tribunal by any means." Well, as most of my readers know, I’m an attorney. Usually when I read the words “Chapter 7,” I think “bankruptcy.” Chapters 13, 11, and 7 are the most common forms of bankruptcy filings. Surely, Solana was not referring to this! So I read on and learned that once again, he presumed to be speaking for the United Nations Security Council. Hmmm….

Well, "the Face and Voice of Europe" must be considerably expanding his venue. It sounds as if he is presuming to be the face and voice for many more . . . unless soon contradicted, that is! As fellow researcher Herb Peters puts it, stay tuned!

JAVIER SOLANA – PART OF THE GLOBAL CONSTITUTION IN THE MAKING?

Valentine’s Day was not all hearts and flowers for some. Globalized politicking with heavy Germanic influence was more the order of the day for them. It was February 14, 2007 in New York City. The occasion was the Arthur F. Burns Fellowship dinner in New York City.[i] Javier Solana was introduced first by the German Ambassador and then by one Robert Zoellick. Solana was the keynote speaker. The Arthur F. Burns Fellowship is part of something called “IJP. It is said to promote journalism in general and Germany in particular.[ii] Now the name “Arthur F. Burns” sounds about as American as apple pie and ice cream. It is, however, a German program designed primarily for positive public relations about that country.[iii] Germany itself has pronounced goals for 2007. It currently heads the six month presidency of the European Union. Its foreign minister is a former Javier Solana deputy, Walter Steinmeier. IJP, the parent organization, is an acronym for “International Journalists Programme.”Only the spelling is English. The goals are pronouncedly Germanic. The Germanic goals this year are pronouncedly Europeanistic. The German ambassador to the USA once worked for Javier Solana, or so he said in his own speech at the February 14th function. So did his boss, German Foreign Minister Walter Steinmeier. Javier Solana is “the invisible man” to far too many Americans.” He certainly was not presumed “invisible” to the journalists at this gathering. “As you all know, Javier Solana is the face and voice of Europe,” proclaimed the Germanic ambassador making preliminary remarks before Senor Solana’s keynote speech.The audio recordings betray no contrary murmurings to this presumed common knowledge. Nor were there any complaints about Germany’s goal of making make the new (Dutch and French rejected) constitution a reality during its presidency.

Two important pillars of the German presidency were, per the opening speaker, the Ambassador, were (1) Finalize and implement the European constitution already rejected by France and Holland; and (2) good trans-Atlantic relations. Who could have anything against that, particularly considering that “dear Javier” was on board?

Well, Javier Solana was thereafter introduced by a slightly less charismatic Robert Zoellick. Then it was Solana’s turn to speak. The New Agers have a slogan of “act locally, think globally.” This night, Javier Solana’s speech was all global. Unlike past speeches, he did not concentrate this evening on European Constitutional concerns, the Alliance of Civilizations, or even the Middle East. Although all were directly or indirectly cited, this time the frame of reference was distinctly global. Pay close attention for it is many of your worst nightmares come true. Here is what Javier, speaking evidently from both heart and head told us about the coming shape of the “New World Order.” He modestly told them he could speak to them about the Common Foreign and Security Policy and/or Transatlantic relations but would not be doing that this evening. Instead, said Dr. Solana, he was electing to think much bigger – in terms of the larger global picture.

This so reminded me of a speech given 25 years ago, February, 1982, in Southfield, Michigan by another larger than life New Age figure, David Spangler. In that speech, Spangler, an open Lucifer devotee told his rapt audience that the New World Order would be a combination of NGO’s (non-governmental organizations), multinational corporations and UN agencies. Solana’s twist was equally grandiose. The shape of the New Order, per Dr. Solana, would be
· Non governmental organizations· Bringing “new players to the table”· Strengthening “regional cooperation”· ‘Transcend the inter-state paradigm’· IMF (International Monetary Fund) restructuring· UN Restructuring

“It is not for me to advocate precise modalities of how we integrate new
players at the top table of global diplomacy. But I am certain that we must. We
should bear in mind that how China and India will behave in future depends on
how we treat them on the way up. Moreover, we need to make greater efforts with countries like Mexico, South Korea, South Africa and others. They are natural allies on the question of multilateral governance.It is striking that as
European Union we have been most successful when we have worked with other
partners. This is even true in our own backyard - the Balkans. And it is
especially so further afield: see Aceh or the Democratic Republic of Congo. We
are trying to apply that lesson to Darfur where we are working with the African
Union and engaging China and others.

"The same lesson also applies to the Middle East Peace Process. Here
the familiar Quartet is reaching out more to the Arab Quartet. It is trite but
true to say that the future global system will be a system of continents and
continent-wide regimes. Take the European Union, the African Union and ASEAN
Plus. When I travel across the Middle East I wonder whether it will remain the
big exception: rife with tensions, over-armed and under-institutionalised?
Bringing in new players to the top table. And strengthening regional
co-operation. These are necessary steps. But in themselves, they are not enough.
In today's world, we must be ready to transcend the inter-state paradigm.

"To tackle the dark side of globalisation, we must mobilise new
networks of actors, from the public, private, and NGO sectors. In some cases,
such new constellations have already been tremendously important. Take the "drop the debt campaign" and how it fed into the G-8 Gleneagles Summit.”

I wonder who Dr. Solana thinks will speak for this new form of global government, oops, “Global Governance?” Surely it would not be himself, or would it? Is 'the face and voice of Europe’ about to take on global dimensions? Time and events will surely tell! At any rate, he certainly is not an “invisible man” to German sponsored journalists: “as the German Ambassador told all gathered: “As you all know, Javier Solana is the face and voice of Europe.” And for whom and what else might he be the coming face and voice? A final quote from Javier Solana’s Valentine’s Day New York City speech to the Arthur F. Burns Fellowship dinner:

"What could we do? The nature of the problems thrown up by globalisation
mean there is no alternative to multilateral co-operation. But we need new
forms, which reflect the problems and power distribution of today’s world
ratherthan that of 1945. For us in the West, it also means making space at top
tables. At the UN Security Council of course. But also in terms of IMF votes.
And, why not, G-8 membership?"



I wonder how much interaction Javier Solana had with other ‘global constitutionalists’ before giving this speech? I wonder how much interaction they had with him, whether directly or indirectly? Many law schools and legal international law scholars are apparently in on these projects.[i] Maybe they just all smoked the same stuff or took the same sleeping remedy! 1945? Germany? I believe that’s where so many, at least of my generation came in. And we were determined never to repeat those mistakes! Irvin Baxter has set forth a prophetic interpretation of the beast whose deadly wound was healed as possibly being Germany whose divided sectors were reunified. Although many of us had a differing interpretation, he could well be right. How soon and how well we forget!

All of this has also brought to mind an event I had the opportunity to witness a few short years ago in 2001. Clients of mine who I had helped through a distressing situation involving attempted governmental confiscation of their private housing in a Detroit historical zone begged off on a mutual pizza invitation one afternoon after a court victory in their behalf earlier in the day. They said they had a community meeting to attend on the United Nations that evening. It was a “global listening project” for a Durban, South Africa forthcoming conference on “battling racism and xenophobia.” I am not, nor have I ever been for racism in any form. But I have been around long enough to know that “xenophobia” (pronounced ZENO-PHOBIA) is all too often a nice little code word for anti-clerical folks battling “religious fundamentalism.” I expressed interest and they invited me to join them there. I was the only Caucasian face present, but the good sisters in the audience appreciated my legal support and worked diligently to see that I was welcomed by all. They even suggested I might want to speak, but I told them ,”no, I think I’ll make tonight my own ‘listening project’” There was a community organizer setting up, a well dressed polite African-American man who told me he was from Chicago and was on the staff of the American Friends Service Committee. He told me NATO was not presently part of the immediate plans, but it was rumored that they soon would be.The event then opened. Obvious Saul Alinsky style community organizing tactics were both used and further described. The host, a community mental health director, introduced the Chicago based speaker. His own preliminary remarks were fascinating. He said, “we are here this evening so that when the United Nations is ready to make its move, the neighborhood is there for the UN. Conversely, when the neighborhood is ready to make its move, the UN will be there for us.”

Are the major players getting close to making just such a move – one that even reaches down into our communities?I wonder just what is next on the “crisis = opportunity” New Age, New World Order, Globalization, “global governance” plate? Many networking factions are being formed and worked on many levels. I wonder who plans to head this once national post-1945 governments are deemed unworkable. I am increasingly suspecting that “our very good friend, Javier Solana” will be a prominent part of that picture. I hope I’m wrong, but I suspect not.Oh, and one last thing as to the news makers. There were similar efforts pre World War II was Hitler-led Germany was remilitarizing its sector of Europe, attempting to use the Rhine River and the inhabitants of that valley as a “binding factor,” as Foster Bailey expressed in his 1972 Lucis Trust book, Running God’s Plan. As I remember that and the Communist era, we called the plans to cast favorable light on the pre and post-world War II schemes “propaganda.” A rose by any other name is still a rose. Propaganda by any other name is still propaganda! Isn’t it ironic again that a major player is Germany? This time the goal is bigger than the Rhine River Valley. It is clearly global.

I have been recovering from a bad cold and my secretary being on vacation – which gave my readers (and perhaps even Javier Solana) a break last week from my usual, as Carrie
Tomko expresses it, “still running off at the keyboard.” But I was given a rare opportunity to do my second radio interview with the unusually well informed Tamar Yonah of Israel National Radio. When will Adobe get on ball and fix Acrobat problems?

Well dear friends, I am still gnashing my teeth over the Adobe Acrobat Version 8.0 installation/bad serial number problems (NO, THE PROBLEM WAS NOT STAPLES THE MERCHANDISER, IT WAS CLEARLY ADOBE'S!). It left the notebook computer on which I tried to install it unable to install any version, save the hopelessly obsolete version 5.0, my original full version. That was clearly unacceptable. I have been working for the last several weeks to try to fix it, including the installation of VISTA -- neither that nor a registry repair solved the problem. I am reluctant to reformat because that would cause other software recognition issues with MicroSoft which does not, to my knowledge have the activate, deactivate options of Adobe Acrobat, before the Virus acting version 8.0 Professional corrupted it. It left version 7.08 lurking in some unknown spot on my computer and unable to install and I get an annoying message saying that the "patch version" is unrecognizable and contact vendor and other words to that effect. I searched the internet in vain for a fix, sent Adobe a note in their comments section that it was high time they addressed this problem, and then did a Google.com search for people with a similar plight and found the following from another blog which I am shamelessly borrowing to express many of my own sentiments, although my problems (similar to his) were on Acrobat and not on Photoshop.

Suggestions and comments are welcome! I need the program back on my computer, but don't think I should have to wipe out everything else to reinstall. Surely Adobe must by now know of the problem and can graciously and publicly supply a fix!

Back in the good old days, when you paid money for a product or service, the people you bought said product of service from treated you with a certain amount of respect. After all, you were their customers and the people keeping them in business. These days, rather then being treated like valuable clients, customers are treated like thieves and pirates.
A classic case in point is when you go to a movie theatre these days and the finger of suspicion is immediately pointed towards you for being a pirate. You’re not allowed to take pictures of the screen, you are told, and if you do the police will be called and you’ll be ejected from the cinema. I remember the days when people were thought to be innocent until proven guilty, but sadly that right no longer exists.
I recently bought a copy of Photoshop for the office, but when I tried to install it on my laptop as well as my desktop (as sanctioned by the licence) it all went wrong. I was presented with an error screen saying that my copy of photoshop needed to be verified online. I followed the instructions and was told that there was an error and it needed to be verified by phone. Again I followed the instructions, but there was an error and I was told that I needed to speak to an operator.
The verification process was intended to prevent people from pirating Photoshop, but all it was doing was preventing as legitimate user from running the program. It basically locked you out of the software, pointed the finger of blame and forced you to prove that you had the right to run the product.
After filling the serial number and activation code online and on an automated phone service, I was forced to read it out to an operator. You would have hoped that this information would already have been passed to the operator but no such luck. The operator I spoke to tried to fix the problem, but had no luck. In the end he had the nerve to tell me that the problem was with my new MacBook and not the software. Now I’m sorry, but if your anti piracy software is preventing me running Photoshop on my laptop, them the problem is squarely on your shoulders.
Eventually I managed to get the software working, but it cost me a good 2 hours of my time and numerous angry phone calls.
This morning, when I tried to open up Photoshop on my desktop, exactly the same thing happened. I was essentially being told that I was a pirate and that I had to phone Adobe to prove that I wasn’t. Again I rang up, and this time complained about the shoddy customer service Adobe and Photoshop were providing. I wasn’t expecting much in the way of an apology, but I wasn’t expecting to be hung up on, which is exactly what happened. The bastards!
So I’d just like to take the opportunity to tell Adobe and other software vendors that if you start accusing your paying customers of being liars and thieves, you’ve already lost the battle and you don’t deserve our sympathy and support. Because frankly, if you treat your clients like thieves, where is the motivation not to act like one?

FOR THE RECORD: POINT OF CLARIFICATION

Dear Friends:

I just saw, to my utter dismay, a popular radio website, one that I count as a friend had a billing "Cumbey Exposes Javier Solana as AC." This was THEIR HEADLINE EDITORIAL and NOT MY PRONOUNCEMENT. Certainly, at this point, I confess to believing he could well be an EDUCATED GUESS and that there are many parallels between what he is saying and doing and prophecy. But I'm not ready to make a definitive pronouncement, nor have I written or said that he is definitely "the dude." I have meticulously tried to avoid sensationalism and stick to facts. I can handle my enemies. Lord, please deliver me from my friends!I hope I have not hurt these friends feelings, but I feel it critical that we maintain dignity and credibility at this critical juncture! Only time and events will ultimately tell.

Confused? So am I

On logging on to my blog tonight, I was surprised to have google announce I was being relocated to the new blogging system. So here goes nothing! I'm working on two articles and will probably post them both to NewsWithViews.com and here. The first is on the ongoing peace processes in the Middle East. Many players have come and gone: James Baker, Madeline Albright, Senator George Mitchell, Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, Kofi Annan, various Russian personalities. The one single personality who has remained constant through all the configurations has been Javier Solana.

The other concerns BIG New Age plans for the year 2012. Bear & Company has published disturbing books by Barbara Hand Clow. Physicist Brian Swimme who co-authored numerous works with excommunicated Catholic priest Matthew Fox (now an Episcopalian priest at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco) wrote the foreword for The Pleiadian Agenda. I see that Carrie Tomko has recently discussed Ms. Clow in one of her recent blogspots as well. I had frankly ignored the book because it was beyond weird; however, my secretary found another copy in a client file that a husband had brought in, disturbed at this type of religious programming for his children. We were closing that file which was a few years old. We resolved that case long ago and Ezella was cleaning out old files. The book, an exhibit, caught her eye as something also along the lines of current research. Remembering Dorothy Margraf's numerous mentionings to me of recently highlighted 2012 plans, she thought I thought take a fresh look. The book needs to be seen to be believed. It contains purported channelings from Lucifer and God (both very much from Lucifer, I'm convinced). The book referrs to God directed people as influenced by "Anunnaki/Nephilim . . . the ones who established the extensive and deeply ingrained management system . . ." Well, it seems that to get a "gilded and engraved Party invitation (to their Year 2012 takeover plans, it seems), "you still have time to challenge your inner belief systems about these great gods. Nobody with residual "God" poison gets an invitation to the Cosmic Party in 2012. To exorcise these lords, you must integrate the stellar intelligence of Gaia."

Well, needless to say, that's one party I don't care to join. Neither should you. I rather suspect that Sam Harris, Chris Hedges, George Monbiot, and Richard Dawkins are on the present guest list. They clearly have removed what they call "God-Poison" and what Chris Hedges blithely calls "Christo-fascists" from their systems. More on Chris Hedges later. His book American Fascists labels all Bible believing Christians as fascists and falsely lumps all with Gary North/Rushdoony brand of dominionism, probably in and of itself a variation of a theme on the New Age Movement, New World Order. More also on that later.

New blog site?

Folks, I'm not sure what's going on. I had a surprise switch by Google to a new blogspot and was told I was being "migrated." To be honest, after a busy day, I reversed the name of my blogspot from "My perspective -- What Constance thinks" to "Constance Cumbey's Perspective." Hopefully we can straighten all out and above all, I want to keep all links that are presently on my site. I think there may be a learning curve and just pray for me while I try to cope with the new system.

Global Constitutionalism

Searching for information yesterday on a wrongful demolition case for a client, I found a link to a Stanford University Law Review. Annoyingly, it went to JSTOR, a link for library passes. I followed its links which took me to a current Stanford University Law Review article which had nothing about "wrongful demolition" but extremely disturbing information about the latest ploy for world government (they are calling it 'global governance') and an end run around the US and other constitutions by seeking "consensus" and mutual court implementation of the laws and precedents of other countries. I have a new article about this EXTREMELY DISTURBING and evidently ABOUT TO BE IMPLEMENTED (some of it has already been) on NewswithViews.com along with links to the Stanford article (provided they haven't already removed the incriminating evidence.)

When I came home from the office earlier this morning, I discovered to my further dismay that my own alma mater had similar material on line, and in a magazine listing me as a financial contributor to the school. Here's a link to that:
