PLEASE READ THIS BOOK - BLOWBACK BY MILES TAYLOR!!!

I am 33% through reading word for word the Kindle edition of Miles Taylor's new book BLOWBACK about what would happen to this country if Trump or "another Trump" (one with similar tactics and perspectives) were elected.  It is SOBERING to the extreme.  I also have the hard cover copy that I have thorough perused through the entire book.  Miles Taylor originally hails from LaPorte, Indiana.  For the record, although a Michigander since 1965, I was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana and am a "Hoosier" by birth.  Most of the very large clan I hail from of which I am now the matriarch, still live in Indiana.  Miles Taylor who was a student at Indiana University was a Marshall Scholar for the year 2012.  My very youngest niece, Abby Lemert, (Class of 2018) was Purdue University's first Marshall Scholar in 25 years.  That was the year she graduated from Purdue University with an engineering degree, as such was the Commencement Speaker, and went on to Scotland's Edinburgh University to claim a Masters' Degree in Infomatics, and another Masters'  degree from from University College London in "Public Diplomacy."  I will freely admit our extreme family pride in her stupendous accomplishments.  This past May she further graduated (Class of 1923) from Yale University School of Law.  For the record, she is also a fine Christian woman who has openly professed her faith through all her academic career.  She is presently preparing for an ordeal I went through 48 years ago -- Bar Examinations!

Well, with all that family bragging being said, part of my interest in Miles Taylor's book and career was that he held a Marshall's Scholarship only 6 years earlier and took advanced degrees at Oxford University with that Scholarship.  His interest was in the political world -- starting originally with Democratic friends, he became an influential young Republican.  He quickly advanced and held very important offices with Homeland Security working under former Defense Secretary and then Trump Chief of Staff John F. Kelly and successors.  He became extremely frightened at imprudent Presidential actions he saw during his tenure in the Trump administration.  He finally wrote a warning book WARNING by "Anonymous."  I have also obtained and thoroughly perused that book.  I do believe God allowed Trump to be there for the time he was there, if for no other reason than to place a check on the extreme progress by so-called "Progressives" in the obvious cultural wars.

Now, we have been treated in previous weeks to replays of Trump's old broadcast statements in favor of abortion.  I have strong recall of his lack of support of the Miss California in the Miss Universe Pageantss that Trump owned and controlled for her statements that marriage was a union between a man and a woman.

My observation on Donald Trump is one of amorality -- not morality.  His "spiritual advisor" Paula White has also been an enthusiastic supporter of the Unification Church cult.  Like Trump, Mike Pompeo, Newt Gingrich and others spoke enthusiastically in support of Unification Church endeavors on August 17, in Seoul, Korea.  Some of you have said it was ok, if they went for money and not worship of Rev. Moon and Mrs. Moon (Hak Jan Han Moon) as "True Parents."  I submit that going for money was more akin to prostitution than to legitimate business interest!  The true believers in this cult profession that Rev. Moon was the "Lord of the Second Advent",  "King of the Universe" and now post his 2012 death "leader of the Spirit World", as bad as they were/are, and are less culpable than those selling their souls for money.  Those claiming to do it to advance the "Kingdom of God" such as Tim LaHaye argued to me in 1986 in reality bought Evangelical silence against the evils of this extreme mind control cult.

Well, it is looking very frighteningly that Trump may well make a comeback and if he comes back, his retribution will be against those ever raising an eyebrow against his many maneuvers.  Those Christians who come out from his delusion are certain to be targeted.  January 6, 2021 was the very last straw for me -- I confess to my shame that I supported and voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020.  I have now intensely studied most of the books written about him -- from those both inside and outside his Adminstration.  Trump now says, "If I weren't running for President, I would have no one coming after me."  NOT TRUE, if nothing else, the January 6 INSURRECTION -- yes, it was an "insurrection" -- one clearly incited by President Trump who urged the gathering of the extremely large crowds to Washington on January 6 for his "Stop the Steal" rally.  His use of the word "Peaceably" in urging the march on the Capitol to help pressure Vice President Mike Pence to unlawfully stop the election confirmation results, was obviously insincere.  Certainly, his failure to speak against what was obviously violently transpiring, including the gallows erected for Vice President Pence" speaks volumes against him.  Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Mitt Romney, Peter Meijer, Lisa Murkowski were brave enough to speak against what had happened.  Kevin McCarthy did - initially -- but then either selfishly or cowardice reverted because they did not want to alienate Trump's obviously huge cult-like base against them.  Those who stood up against the January 6 evil remind me of the brave little boy in THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES story who said "but he isn't wearing anything" when everybody else was oohing and ahhing about the mysterious fabric that "only the wise could see."

Jesus plainly warned (Matthew 24:24) that end times would feature deception enough to deceive the very elect.  Very obviously, either that or its predecessor appears to be here.  It was also here in the days of Hitler's ascendancy to national power after the Munich Beer Hall Putsch of 1923.  I'm also reading another new, easy to read book by Michael A. Eggleston "DONALD J. TRUMP & HITLER'S PLAYBOOK.  I fear that we are going down the same type of road that took Christians down the road during the Hitler years and may well be taking us there now.  By the way, I discovered and ordered that book based on my own long standing observations that Trump may be using the Hitler playbook.  One day last week I googled the question "Is Trump working out of the Hitler Playbook" and this title as one of the immediate fruits (not the only) of my google search.

I strongly suggest you obtain and read both of these books as well as the "Anonymous" one which is obtainable from used book sources.

Stay tuned!

Thank u for the kind words this morning brother. I’ve been at this for several years and gained a lot of understanding and even compassion for how and why some older persons end up with anti biblical new age right tunnel vision where they use and abuse the name of our dear lord, Jesus to suit or rather, heretically prop up their political goals, desires and ambitions.

Be heartened that it pretty much took about a 5% swing in (supposed) Christian voters from 2016 for Trump (regrettably) to 2020 for Biden to turn the election.

It only takes changing the mind of a few and down the road we KNOW few will remain on the path of righteousness.

Never give up hope. Fear is Lucifer’s game.

Hawaii wildfires: Maui's emergency leader RESIGNS citing 'health reasons'

This comes a day after Chief Herman Andaya told a press conference he did not regret not activating warning sirens as the fatal wildfire swept across the island.

Andaya said he opted to send out alerts via mobile devices, radio waves, television and the county's opt-in resident alert system - but not via siren.
Officials have said the death toll will likely continue to climb in the next few weeks.
There is increasing concern that numerous children, who were at home because schools were closed and parents were at work, are among the dead.

'Our parents work one, two, three jobs just to get by and they can't afford to take a day off,' Jessica Sill, a kindergarten teacher at Lahaina's King Kamehameha III Elementary School, told the Wall Street Journal. 'Without school, there was nowhere for [kids] to go that day.'

The death toll has now grown to at least 111 people and there is growing fear that many children are among the dead - as they were left home alone when schools delayed opening due to power outages before the storm.

Before jumping to fantastical conspiracies here are a couple of things I’ve heard debunking some of the recent Maui conspiracy propaganda.

1. Sirens may not have been rung because they are generally for tsunamis and may have resulted in people fleeing inland and towards danger (the emergency people are certainly due much questioning and criticism)

2. School was scheduled to resume august 9th,a day AFTER the fires. August 8th was to be a teacher day that was cancelled evidently because of power issues and/or hurricane force winds on the island.

3. Videos from that day show the extreme windy conditions

4. News forecasts that prior weekend warned of wildfire risks due to extreme dry conditions and anticipated high winds

5. At least one widely shared video claiming to show laser strikes have been debunked as a fake

6. I have not heard any official news or report that water was was actually “shut off”…its more likely pumps lost electricity, houses that burned down and residents all trying to access water at the same time likely utilized all the water and/or water pressure available at that time.

Spreading fake information, lies and political conspiracies is pretty vulgar in the face of all those dead. There is nothing indicating this was a coordinated destruction of life and property by anyone, let alone the government and/or “them”.

These things happen. Not as often as they used to but it’s not all that uncommon. There were certainly systemic failures and people, including police and other public safety employees need to be held to account and, only thereby could any actual conspiracy be revealed.

HOW MANY CHILDREN (WHO WERE SUDDENLY RELEASED TO GO HOME FROM SCHOOL) WERE BURNED ALIVE IN THEIR HOMES... ALONE, WITH NO ADULT (ALLOWED TO LEAVE THEIR JOBS IN TIME) TO COMFORT THEM???

Why didn't Oprah's home burn to the ground?

The children weren't in school August 8th (day of the fire) and then "suddenly released to go home from school" as you erroneously speculate.

I believe school was scheduled to begin there August 9th. However, August 8th was supposed to be a teacher's prep day which WAS either cancelled completely or called of due to electricity, hurricane, fire and/or water conditions.

11:42 am

My house also wasn't burned down by the fires but I assure that was not a conspiracy as I live 1000's of miles away...

It is my understanding...and I'm not sure or investigating all the names you listed as though it is some conspiracy directing hurricane winds and fires only onto select properties... but it appears Oprah's home is situated in a rural area near the Kula Forest Reserve to the southwest of the island—an hour's drive from Lahaina and in a region that was all completely spared from the three large infernos that ripped across parts of the island last week.

The others probably all have houses and estates situated outside the fire zone as well. The fire did indiscrimately destroy certain property and structures while sparring others but live videos of the actual fires do not indicate or even suggest such could have been coordinated in any manner.

I'm not a fan of Oprah. She's denied Christ publicly, and wasted such an opportunity throughout her lifetime to spread the gospel versus promoting new age thought crap. What a waste of her talents.

Please stop spreading nonsense. It's disrespectful.

I believe the wind was blowing towards Lahaina from the east inland to the west so Oprah and Bezos's properties were also both UP WIND and not in the line of fire THAT DAY.

Wildfires are still burning on Maui to this day.

BOMBSHELL REPORT

Mass Murder & The West Maui Land Grab

The blame for the destruction of West Maui is falling upon Hawaiian Electric who knew as early as four years ago that there was a risk of fire due to their own negligence of maintaining power lines. But did nothing. Hawaiian Electric, who is owned by Vanguard and BlackRock, has been shifting their focus to clean energy. But in order to Build Back Better, they must first destroy the old system. And so the power was left on to feed the fires.

The outdoor siren warning system on Maui is one of the most advanced and maintained warning systems on Earth. Residents are accustomed to monthly tests and on the day of the fire, no sirens went off. The director in charge of this warning system was at a FEMA disaster seminar in Oahu as the fires were devastating the people of Maui.

When asked if he regretted not sounding the alarm, he said no. Because he was worried that the people would run into the fire.

But instead, they burned to death. Including an untold number of children who were home alone that morning because of a school cancellation.

The water wasn’t on. Fire hydrants were dry. And the Deputy Director of Water Resource Management, who was named an Obama Foundation Leader, refused to release water for the west Maui fires until it was too late. He says that in order to share water, Hawaiians need to discuss equity.

Without any warnings and without any water, the people tried to flee. But they were stopped by the police who had orders to keep people from escaping.

The Maui chief of police, John Pelletier, was the incident officer at one of the biggest cover-up operations in US history; the 2017 Las Vegas shootings.

Residents are not allowed to leave unless they get a permission slip from the federal government. But the government recently decided to shut that option down.

While the fires burned, a book was published about the entire event. The book blamed climate change and was written by a Dr Miles Stones. The definition of milestone is; an action or event marking a significant change or stage in development.

Hawaii is being usurped by the same billionaires pushing for the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset. They have been planning on turning Maui into a test bed for their Artificial Intelligence Smart Grid. But the people were in their way, so they burned them out. Maui will either be a major milestone for the ruling class, or a line in the sand for we the people.

The federal government offers a one-time payment of seven hundred dollars to each family that has lost their home. And the Governor of Hawaii tells reporters that the state plans on acquiring the land.

And if it wasn’t for the local community, the survivors would be left alone to die in the ashes of their neighbors.

Also LIVE trees have a high water content and don't, necessarily, burn readily and their root systems are underground beneath the flames & heat. This is unlike processed dry lumber that made up much of the structures in town that burn rapidly and readily.

There's this too about the long sought-after mitigation efforts for non-native and highly flammable grasses over and upon former pineapple and sugarcane farms (now grown elsewhere)...

Left unchecked, Maui’s nonnative grasses turned into wildfire fuel: Wildfire experts in Hawaii warned for years that overgrown grasses put communities like Lahaina at extreme risk for wildfire destruction, but officials struggled to fund projects and introduce policies that have been used elsewhere in the country.

https://www.nbcnews.com/science/science-news/maui-wildfires-grass-overgrown-nonnative-flammable-hawaii-rcna99963

Assuming many of you just don't trust mainstream news...here's the actual 2021 County of Maui report on wildfire prevention and cost recovery detailing why and just how vulnerable this area was to wildfires (and what should have been done about it):

COST OF GOVERNMENT COMMISSION COUNTY OF MAUI Report on Wildfire Prevention and Cost Recovery on Maui July 2021

x

p.s.- It's kind of ironic that GOP/Maga types are the ones spreading these conspiracy theories when it was really caused mostly by the Government's failure to adequately mitigate these issues in advance with good regulations regarding fallow lands and a few million dollars of monies to fortify the area with a good plan and solid fire prevention & warning systems. It's not like the elitist protecting GOP libertarians would ever agree to making anyone do anything on their land even if it meant protecting the community as a whole. Bunch of "conservatives" saying "don't tread on me" while their communities burn and they survive in their fireproof concrete bunkers.

What a shameful report by the liars at infowars. Why would you even share that nonsense including lies I'd already shown you weren't true. Shame on you.

I've already debunked most all of what infowars claimed...

Nobody ordered the police to "keep people from escaping"... they may have done a horrible job and I can only imagine the pain they are enduring personally but I'm certain local police THOUGHT they were protecting residents from fleeing INTO the wildfires and miscommunication exacerbated those directions/orders and/or plans as hell descended on the city.

By some small chance if there WAS a conspiracy...I'm sure the local community police were not involved. Why would such conspiracy risk such an extended conspiracy to ensure the deaths of civilians if they just wanted the land (and to not get caught)? It's a ridiculous notion.

Hurricanes happen. Wildfires happen. Choas, hurricaines and wildfires go hand and hand.

“Brother Paul”,

I’ve refrained from making comments regarding your claims of Trump as “Antichrist”, but I’ll make a few now.

First of all, MAGA is an acronym taken from the slogan “Make America Great Again”. Sure, it has been shortened to its acronym as shorthand by both proponents and opponents of Trump. But, again, the slogan originated as “Make America Great Again”, not “MAGA”, which only came afterward. Attempts to make “MAGA” mean something besides an acronym for the larger slogan runs contrary to logic—unless there is evidence Trump or someone in his campaign had preplanned using the shortened acronym to indicate something nefarious and then devised the “Make America Great Again” slogan to fit this meaning.

(I don’t know if you are one of the ones actually claiming “MAGA” means something else, so I lay this out just in case. Perhaps you could sign your posts as “Brother Paul” so that we know which are authored by you?)

In any case, this isn’t even the primary issue in this regard.

Since there are so many anonymous commenters, I cannot know who is saying what; so, the one who keeps claiming “MAGA” means witch in Latin needs to make a stronger connection between the acronym for “Make America Great Again” and this Latin word. Should any kind of real connection be made (I’ll be waiting), then we would have to see how it applies. That is, if “MAGA” = witch, then who is the witch? The term in Latin is singular and refers specifically to a woman (as opposed to a man). Who is this woman? Trump is not a woman. If the term is meant collectively to refer to the entire ‘movement’, then I might ask why the masculine (MAGUS, or perhaps the masculine plural MAGI), per customary usage, was not used instead.

In this same vein: To the 6:32 PM who stated, MAGA (Magician; sorcerer; witch / warlock) is the fifth and highest degree in Satanism the same essence of my above statements applies to you. Again, “MAGA” is for females, “MAGUS” for males (see Membership here). So, how exactly does “MAGA” in this context of Satanism apply to Trump or to the Trump MAGA movement?

----

Now, switching gears to your latest video “Trump Shares Image of MAGA Beast Rising From the Sea”: Please explain exactly how this image refers to Rev 13:1. At least you admit that this “beast” (a lion in the image) lacks the “7 heads and 10 horns”, but you’ve forgotten about the additional description in verse 2, in which it was ‘like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion’. In so many words, you even admit the connection is tenuous. I’d say there really isn’t a connection at all. It either fits or it doesn’t fit. And it doesn’t.

If I were as uncharitable as our “X” here, I might call your title clickbait and brand you generally as a grifter, riding the anti-Trump train.

Here’s the gofundme page of “Brother Paul”. I note that Constance herself donated to his cause very recently.

Quick point about maga's latin meaning: what sort of message does this send to naïf immigrants transported to our border by satanic drug cartels? Trump needs to clarify a few things otherwise he will continue to appear shady.

Craig said...

Anon 8:18 PM,

It's folks like the anons who claim "MAGA" is Latin for "witch" who are the problem, not Trump. Unless evidence can be made to the contrary, "MAGA" is simply shorthand, an acronym for "Make American Great Again".

BTW, are you saying immigrants know Latin better than English?

Anonymous said...

Lots of dialects in Mexico but la maga pretty much stays the same across the board I'd bet . Who knows what conceptions people have in the South about La Norte. Remember Church Camp when the councillors would try to frighten you with scary stories? Can you imagine what stories these people have been told to frighten them by the jerks trafficking them? Not a nice bunch of people.

Spanish used to be a Romance languages but now we call it a Latin languages for some reason

Anonymous said...

BTW I include Biden in the jerk category

Craig said...

You'd lose your bet. Not the position that it might retain meaning across dialects, but the meaning you wish to assign to it.

And it's not "La Norte" it's El Norte. The word "Norte" is grammatically masculine, and so requires el instead of "la".

You wrote: Spanish used to be a Romance languages but now we call it a Latin languages for some reason

That's incorrect. Spanish, like other Romance languages (e.g. French), evolved FROM Latin.

The Spanish term for "witch" is la bruja. The Spanish term for "warlock" is el brujo. The Spanish term for "witchcraft" is brujaria.

The Spanish term in general for "magician" is mago, which is masculine. If it refers specifically to a male, it is el mago; if it refers to a female, it is la maga. The Spanish word for "magic" is magia.

So, as you can see, there is a semantic difference: mag- is for magician in a general sense, while bruj- is used in a negative sense.

In any case, you persist in missing the point. "MAGA" is shorthand for "Make America Great Again". Period.

And, absent any context, a Spanish speaker would understand "maga" as a female magician, not a "witch".

I've no idea how "MAGA" might be used by traffickers to frighten the humans they traffic. And I don't see how Trump is somehow responsible for how others might (mis)interpret this acronym.

In one of your videos you make the claim that Donald Trump is antichrist in virtue of your interpretation of 1 John 2:23. I don’t see how you make this connection. Can you explain? Allow me to elucidate why I think this is so.

I think it important to keep Biblical context when using Scripture to make any point. Here’s larger context:

18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

Here John is speaking about some who’d left their congregation (v. 19). Apparently, after affirming Christian faith in some form, they were later found not to have a proper understanding, because they ‘denied that Jesus is the Christ’ (v. 22). Most scholars believe they were Docetists, believing in the prevalent dualism that ‘spirit is good’ while ‘matter is evil’ (Gnosticism). With this false understanding, “Christ” is a benevolent spirit, and this spirit could not have come in any sort of bodily form, so Jesus had to be a sort of phantom, not a real human. This is borne out in the positive confession of 1 John 4:2 Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God as compared to its negative counterpart in 4:3 every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist.

Now, I DO believe we can take the basic thrust of 1 John 2:22–23 such that anyone who denies Jesus is the Christ/Messiah also denies the Father, and anyone who acknowledges the Son as Christ/Messiah acknowledges the Father.

So, taking this broader interpretation, how exactly did Donald Trump deny that Jesus is the Christ?

Ironic… Trump & his covid bungling administration killed Harry Jackson (dod 11/9/2020) the following fall after he attended Trumps covid super spreader event at the White House in the fall 2020.

Trump was very likely contagious at the time.

If Trump was truly a Christian wouldn’t we see some repentance?

Maybe he’ll plead guilty (might as well since he’s already confessed publicly to so many of the charges)

Correlation does not necessarily mean causation. That is, unless it supports your narrative, of course.

I've stated more than once on here I don't think Trump is a true Christian. I agree he'd repent and show some remorse at times.

But, is Trump The Antichrist? I don't think so. But "Brother Paul" sure does.

Who said Trump is even a Christian? I don't think he is, but he isn't the AC like some people are bent on. At least nothing indicates that as of now so the speculations are through the roof stupid.

You don't like infowars type reporting (me either) so why do you do the same brand of outlandish reporting yourself? You really do what you accuse others of. Could you be more fake than you are for us please? This blog can't get enough of how damn fake you are.

X,

Way back (last weekend?) in the previous set of 200 comments at 12:00 PM you wrote:

So you can claim "FACTS" without any specific substantiation and based upon your feelings that the evidence, though cursory (but they included Trump referring to himself in his own voice as "the chosen one" while gesturing to the Heavens), isn't enough in your OPINION to make a reasonable estimation that I am not be flat out lying about Trump.

For a man who tries to deflect using the fallacy fallacy a lot...this is your biggest yet.

Ironic that you claim I’m deflecting when you are the one deflecting. Classic, even.

Here is the statement I was referring to, which, the FACT is, you’ve failed to substantiate:

The last of which [Trump] has literally been convinced by new age heretics like Paula White, Kenneth Copeland, lance Wallnau, and other NAR apostles that he was sent by God to take “dominion” over America on behalf of the pope.

(a) “literally been convinced”. This is clearly your OPINION, as you cannot possibly be inside Trump’s head to know for sure. This is your lead-in to the absolute claim you’ve made here. We all recall those ‘true or false?’ questions in which merely one aspect of the statement being untrue renders the entire statement false. That applies here as anywhere.

(b) “he was sent by God”. This one is the more plausible discreet statement in this web of assertions you’ve woven here. But is it definitively true? I dunno. I submit you don’t either. Has he said he was “sent by God”. The video “the chosen one” could indicate it.

(c) “to take ‘dominion’ over America”. This is where you’ve absolutely failed. Where is the evidence—besides some guilt-by-association—this might be true, let alone PROOF for this statement?

(d) “on behalf of the pope”. This is probably the most ridiculous part of your assertion. Where’s the beef?

The fact is you’ve failed to defend your absolute assertion, which means, unless and until you provide substantiation, your statement stands fallacious. In other words, with no substantiation, you’ve told a lie.

As I wrote earlier, you take select words Trump said or what others say about Trump, or what others say that Trump said, and THEN you go further and make unsubstantiated conclusions from this mish-mash.

I get it. We get it. You HATE Trump. But let’s be truthful when you spew your hatred for the man. Otherwise, you lose credibility with each untruth.

Anonymous said...

I just love how some posters here (with TDS) go from 'zero to 60'... to say that Trump is the Anti-Christ... but, without any evidence whatsoever.

Wouldn't the Anti-Christ have to be very knowledgeable about Scripture???

Uh... I don't believe that Trump checks off that box.

Anonymous said...

Where in the Bible does it say the AC is very knowledgeable about scripture? It does say he understands dark sentences.

Anonymous said...

Craig,

I’m glad you figured out I don’t live in Trumps head so it being “my opinion” stated on an opinion discussion forum you now more fully understand was implied all along. Just as I understood your stating that I’m lying is just your opinion and not an actual fact (I live in my own head).

Regarding the claims you still dispute:

C. He is surrounded by Dominionists…you can be defined, by inference, by your closest associations. Paul’s white even spoke at the Moonies convention and Dominionists have partnered with the Moonies for years too as evidenced by Mrs Cumbey.

D. Many of those associations, if not Roman Catholics themselves are Dominionists ecumenically partnered with Rome…especially politically. How exactly do you think it came to be that Trump appointed 2 orthodox Roman Catholics and one charismatic Roman Catholic to the Supreme Court? Why didn’t Paula White, Pastor Jackson, or even Jeffers demand at least one Protestant Evangelical on the court? Almost all the lower court appointees by Trump, even the Protestant ones were members of the Federalist Society, an Opus Dei affiliated organization.

Rome(to me in my opinion based upon information & belief) owns the heretical faux evangelical Dominionist movement.

X

P.S. - do you have an opinion or critique of Dominion Theology and/or the seven mountain mandate??? Or are you a “Kingdom Now” kind of guy.

Craig,

I'm not going to do all the research for you...but I'll try to give you something before I get on with my day.

First, I never said my opinions aren't subject to questioning or critique ON A DISCUSSION FORUM WHERE I WILLINGLY PARTICIPATE.

1. If you were watched and reported on daily and every word you spoke was debated and discussed and you DID NOT stand out as a Christian among a bevy of non-Christians "both at home and at work" how would anyone presume otherwise?

Likewise...Trump is/was surrounded by Dominionists, including even his vice president, Pence:

A Theology of Power: Mike Pence and the Dominionists

https://www.counterpunch.org/2019/01/30/a-theology-of-power-mike-pence-and-the-dominionists/

Trump spoke like them...ate with them...travelled with them and never stood apart from them with his words or deeds (that I can recall).

Further -- Opus Dei is a secret soceity/group. They don't even disclose their affiliations on the Senate Disclosure Statements where they are supposed to document all their past and present affiliations for careful scrutiny. You can ONLY discover them if they self-disclose, by their associations personal, politically and professional and by their language (abundant use of key words or discussions like, for example, pointed criticisms of Pope Francis, celebrating Pope John Paul, attending only Latin Mass, celebrating Thomas More, whom John Paul named the patron saint of politics, affiliation with the Catholic Information Center which are opus dei recruitment and operating centers strategically located throughout the world).

All the Trump's supreme court judges were vetted by Leonard Leo, board member of the Catholic Information center and acknowledged member of Opus Dei AND the Knights of Malta and long associated with the GOP since he worked on George Bush Jrs campaign in 2004. (note also - Bill Barr was also a former board member at the CIC and in Trump's ear about everything)

Leonard Leo has reshaped the Supreme Court. Is he reshaping Catholic University too?

https://www.ncronline.org/news/leonard-leo-has-reshaped-supreme-court-he-reshaping-catholic-university-too

Why would Leonard Leo have Trump nominate and appoint anyone NOT a member of his secret political religious gang? It's like suggesting back in the day that Al Capone wouldn't put one of his controlled goons in some important local political chicago position when given the chance.

x

p.s.- I'm a little disappointed you won't distance yourself from Dominionist Theology when given the opportunity. It's a little NAR'ish of you. Not once has Trump been charged with simple "denying election results" -- none of these aren't first amendment cases.

You really should read all 91 indictments. 74 of them don't even deal with the election in any manner...as 34 of the indictments deal with falsifying business records and another 40 indictments deal with classified documents.

Here's a breakdown to help you research...

Breaking down the 91 charges Trump faces in his four indictments

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/trump-charges-jan-6-classified-documents/

Just a taste - Excerpt: .... The most sweeping charge in this case is Trump’s alleged violation of Georgia’s powerful anti-racketeering law. This law allows prosecutors to charge a large group of people in a complex web of potential crimes. The indictment says Trump and others were part of a criminal enterprise that refused to accept his election loss and conspired to change the outcome.

Separate counts of soliciting or impersonating a public officer refer to attempts by Trump and co-defendants to pressure officials to find ways to change the results, mainly by peddling false claims about voter fraud. The remaining counts — forgery, false statements and false documents — involve the plot to appoint fake electors, as well as the bevy of false voter fraud claims Trump and others made as they allegedly tried to subvert the election...

It's so silly, so ridiculous, so childish, that it amazes me that anyone would believe such nonsense. Obviously, "Brother Paul" is preying upon people that do not know the Scriptures, or, don't believe in Scriptural authority, and, who are almost totally ignorant of history.

Why is this so interesting? It's incredibly interesting, and, revealing, about the spiritual DISCERNMENT of one Constance Cumbey. This is supposed to be a blog site that reveals the spiritual errors of the New Age Movement, which, one might argue, requires some degree of spiritual discernment. Yet, the founder of this site is not only a follower, but, a financial contributor to "Brother Paul" ??? Seriously? But it does explain Constance's off the wall, total obsession with Trump, which is the very same sickness that "Brother Paul" has, although I think BP is in it for the money. If you study the specifics regarding the biblical description of the antichrist, there is no modern day politician or figure that can possibly fit all. The reason? The description fits only one; it's the ongoing, blasphemous "drunk with the blood of the saints" office of the Papacy. By the way, even the official Catholic Encyclopedia identifies the Vatican residing within Rome, the city known as the "city of seven hills."

Believe it or not, if you believe in the current Hal Lyndsey type interpretation of the end times, you've bought into a false system that is strewn with made up interpretations. It's a modern, man made system that has been thoroughly wrong about predictions, based upon their made up interpretations, for well over 100 years!

After decades of safe use when prescribed to humans, the Government TOOK this away as an alternative treatment for COVID. After reading the following, how does that make you feel about your Government?

Most Intensive Ivermectin Use Had 74% Reduction In Excess Deaths In Peru: New Study

According to a new peer-reviewed ecological study, a natural experiment occurred when the government of Peru authorized ivermectin for use during the COVID-19 pandemic resulting in evidence of the drug’s effectiveness and ability to reduce excess deaths.

The paper’s results, published August 8 in Cureus, found a 74 percent reduction in excess deaths in 10 states with the most intensive ivermectin use over a 30-day period following peak deaths during the pandemic. When analyzing data across 25 states in Peru, researchers found these reductions in excess deaths correlated closely to ivermectin use during four months in 2020.

When ivermectin was available without restriction, there was a fourteenfold reduction in nationwide excess deaths. Once access to ivermectin was restricted by the government, a thirteenfold increase in excess deaths was observed in the two months following the limitation of its use. The findings align with summary data from the World Health Organization for the same time period in Peru.

Ivermectin is a widely-known and inexpensive treatment against parasitic diseases. Scientists believe the drug can also bind to the spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, limiting its morbidity and infectivity.

And then provide a link to Brother James Key and Brother Paul. Hmmm, I wonder if Paul's last name is Key? Whatever, they're both nuts that come from the same shell.

It's disappointing for Constance to tarnish her legacy as an original NAM researcher, but I don't think mocking her will cause her to back down.

She's a true believer. She sincerely believes Trump is a good candidate for Antichrist. She's not a grifter like Brothers Paul and James Key seem as if they probably are.

I think time and events will accomplish what words can't.

In a few more years, who knows, maybe Constance will be writing about Gavin Newsom.

The Grandson of Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter, says “we're in the final chapter” in a health update.

“He’s still fully Jimmy Carter,” Josh Carter said of his grandfather. “I mean he’s almost 99 years old, but he fully understands (how many well wishes he’s received) and has felt the love.”

Meanwhile, Josh Carter said his grandmother Rosalynn Carter, who has dementia, is cognizant of her diagnosis and even signed off on the May press release in which it was announced. “She still knows who we are, for the most part – that we are family,” Josh Carter said. “My grandmother is still able to form new memories.”

Jimmy Carter, 98, entered hospice care in February. The former president beat brain cancer in 2015 but faced a series of health scares in 2019, and consequentially underwent surgery to remove pressure on his brain.

Family and caregivers have been the only recent visitors to the Carters’ Georgia home, Josh Carter told People. But “there’s always somebody at the house” to keep the Carters company, he said.

Jimmy Carter's unwavering dedication to humanitarian causes and his genuine commitment to making the world a better place make him a shining example of the best in us.

We send Former President Carter and First Lady Rosalynn our love.

The fallen world, the one that hates Christ, just loves the type of "christian" that Jimmy Carter is. Why? Because Carter is the type that makes the enemies of Jesus Christ feel very comfortable.

He made "Born Again" famous when he was interviewed by the porno magazine Playboy. Carter famously said that even though he was BA, he still "lusted" after women in his heart. More than a weird comment being that he was being interviewed by a filthy magazine that made a fortune on peddling lust.

Carter the "christian" also came out as a pro-abortionist, that is, he favors infanticide.

In one of the most blasphemous statements ever made, Carter claimed that "jesus" (not the real One) would support the abomination of gay marriage.

While ignoring the authority of God's word, Carter instead chose to please the enemies of Christ. Here's the story:

Jimmy Carter: ‘I believe that Jesus would approve of gay marriage’

“I think Jesus would encourage any love affair if it was honest and sincere and was not damaging to anyone else and I don’t see that gay marriage damages anyone else,” Carter, who describes himself as a born-again Christian, told HuffPost Live.

PAULA WHITE JOINS FORCES WITH DEMONIC ‘MOONIES CULT’

(Protestia) New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) queen Paula White demonstrated a further lack of biblical discernment and an increasing glut of demonic hand-holding when she got up on stage and gave a keynote address at the World Christian Leadership Conference which took place August 11-15, 2022.

The conference was founded by Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, the widow of the Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon, co-founder of the Universal Peace Federation and the World Unification Church….

She is a billionaire and regarded by many as the “Messiah” and the “True Parent to all mankind,” whose goal is to unite all faiths in world peace and harmony.

I.e., they’re Moonies.

She and her husband founded the Moonies cult and the rally is a means to spread further the moonies’ message of anti-biblical, Christ-hating syncretic ecumenism.

You forgot to include this:

Reagan also signed the 1967 Therapeutic Abortion Act that allowed abortions in the cases of rape and incest when a doctor determined the birth would impair the physical or mental health of the mother. He later expressed regret over signing it, saying that he was unaware of the mental health provision. He believed that doctors were interpreting the provision loosely and more abortions were resulting.[117]

Via CDC:

"Some medications and vaccines may contain small amounts of alpha-gal-containing additives, stabilizers, or coatings. Not all patients with AGS react to these ingredients."

The lone star tick has been around for eons, so, again, there is no ostensible reason why AGS-induced meat allergies would suddenly be spiking. Doubtless, the powers that be will blame it on climate change or whatever, but anyone with any sense long ago ceased taking anything they say at face value.

So, a vaccine is administered that, by definition, is designed to trigger an immune response. Said vaccine contains alpha-gal, the molecule that triggers AGS. Cases of AGS have skyrocketed, by the CDC's estimation, since the COVID-19 shots came online two years ago.

Do the math.

Here it is in context. . .

"What Christ taught about most was pride, that one person should never think he was any better than anybody else. One of the most vivid stories Christ told in one of his parables was about two people who went into a church. One was an official of the church, a Pharisee, and he said, "Lord, I thank you that I'm not like all those other people. I keep all your commandments, I give a tenth of everything I own. I'm here to give thanks for making me more acceptable in your sight." The other guy was despised by the nation, and he went in, prostrated himself on the floor and said, "Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner. I'm not worthy to lift my eyes to heaven." Christ asked the disciples which of the two had justified his life. The answer was obviously the one who was humble.

The thing that's drummed into us all the time is not to be proud, not to be better than anyone else, not to look down on people but to make ourselves acceptable in God's eyes through our own actions and recognize the simple truth that we're saved by grace. It's just a free gift through faith in Christ This gives us a mechanism by which we can relate permanently to God. I'm not speaking for other people, but it gives me a sense of peace and equanimity and assurance.

I try not to commit a deliberate sin. I recognize that I'm going to do it anyhow, because I'm human and I'm tempted. And Christ set some almost impossible standards for us. Christ said, "I tell you that anyone who looks on a woman with lust has in his heart already committed adultery."

I've looked on a lot of women with lust. I've committed adultery in my heart many times. This is something that God recognizes I will do—and I have done it—and God forgives me for it. But that doesn't mean that I condemn someone who not only looks on a woman with lust but who leaves his wife and shacks up with somebody out of wedlock.

Christ says, Don't consider yourself better than someone else because one guy screws a whole bunch of women while the other guy is loyal to his wife. The guy who's loyal to his wife ought not to be condescending or proud because of the relative degree of sinfulness. One thing that Paul Tillich said was that religion is a search for the truth about man's existence and his relationship with God and his fellow man; and that once you stop searching and think you've got it made—at that point, you lose your religion. Constant reassessment, searching in one's heart—it gives me a feeling of confidence.

I don't inject these beliefs in my answers to your secular questions.

[Carter clenched his fist and gestured sharply.]

But I don't think I would ever take on the same frame of mind that Nixon or Johnson did—lying, cheating and distorting the truth. Not taking into consideration my hope for my strength of character, I think that my religious beliefs alone would prevent that from happening to me. I have that confidence. I hope it's justified."

There are a number of false, unbiblical statements made by Carter. But let's start with his peculiar, but telling, reference by Carter to Paul Tillich.

Throughout his life, Paul Tillich was an avowed Socialist. Tillich did not believe Jesus was God, but rather, "divine." In his Systematic Theology, he declared that Jesus did not become the "Christ" until one of his disciples declared addressed him as such. Tillich didn't believe in using the name, Jesus Christ, but rather preferred using the New Age sounding term Jesus the Christ.

According to Tillich's wife, from the beginning, they were very "sexually liberal." Once married, Paul Tillich never stopped having adulterous affairs. And this is the theologian that Jimmy Carter chose to cite in his Playboy interview!

Carter said:

"What Christ taught about most was pride, that one person should never think he was any better than anybody else.

- Not even remotely true. Kind of a variation of what liberals love to quote out of context: "Judge not." The problem is that they never go on and quote the rest of the passage, which teaches against hypocrisy, and, to judge righteously.

Carter BLASPEMOUSLY said:

Christ says, Don't consider yourself better than someone else because one guy screws a whole bunch of women while the other guy is loyal to his wife.

- Seriously. What kind of warped mind comes up with this kind of garbage? He clearly is attempting to equate a man that is faithful to his wife (and God) with a serial adulterer.

Carter said:

I've looked on a lot of women with lust. I've committed adultery in my heart many times. This is something that God recognizes I will do—and I have done it—and God forgives me for it.

- Remember, Carter claims to be born again. When a person is born again, they are a new creature in Christ, baptized with the Holy Spirit, and given a new heart. Repentance is a gift from God and cannot be separated from the new birth. Yet, Carter admits to lusting after "a lot of women." He admits that he's "committed adultery in his heart many times." He admits that he will continue in his lustful ways and that "God forgives" him "for it." Furthermore, Carter completely missed the message of this passage of Scripture, which was to expose the hypocrisy of the "righteous" religionists, and to show the futility of obtaining righteousness through religion. It was also a means to show the REAL issue; the sinful human heart.

Carter said:

But that doesn't mean that I condemn someone who not only looks on a woman with lust but who leaves his wife and shacks up with somebody out of wedlock.

- It's not up to man to condemn anyone, that's up to God. But here, Carter appears to be unable to make a moral judgment of an adulterous man, but rather, condones it!

This is the kind of religious gobblygook that allows someone like Carter to condone the murder of innocent life, support the LGBTQ agenda, and, believe that "jesus" would be for gay marriage!

FAKE names are proof of Joe Biden's guilt!!!

Those emails President Joe Biden signed with a pseudonym while he was vice president and forwarded to his son Hunter are further proof of corruption and involvement in his business schemes, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer said Sunday.

"We've learned that Joe Biden used at least three pseudonyms or fake names in emails that he was receiving from people within the federal government and people that worked for him," the Kentucky Republican told Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures" host Maria Bartiromo.

Even more troubling, said Comer, is that Biden's son Hunter was copied on emails pertaining to Ukraine, even though the White House maintained he wasn't a government employee.

“Ultimately, a movement can’t be about the personality of one individual, the movement has got to be about what are you trying to achieve on behalf of the American people? And that’s got to be based in principle,” he said. That's the part Trumpsters don't get in this comment section. The Trump personality cult is destroying the Republican party. 10 Things You Should Know about the Book of Revelation

1. Revelation is not hard to understand.

Revelation is a book that many people avoid, convinced that it is too hard to interpret and understand. Certainly there are some challenges to rightly interpreting some of its vivid imagery and plentiful symbolism. It is a genre of literature (apocalyptic) that is unfamiliar to most of us, which requires that we develop some skills for reading it. But Revelation wasn’t written for scholars. It was written for ordinary believers in the first century with the expectation that they would be able to understand its central message. This means that we are able to understand its central message. The challenge greater than understanding the book may be opening ourselves up to the adjustments in our lives this book calls for. Yet this greater challenge is also what promises the greatest blessing.

2. Revelation is not primarily about the future.

Revelation was written to fortify believers in the first century, and every century since then, to live out bold allegiance to Christ as they/we wait for the King of Kings to come and establish his kingdom on earth in all of its glorious fullness. It fortifies us for this by showing us what God has done in the past, is doing in the present, and will do in the future to preserve and protect his people, destroy his enemies, and renew his creation. It shows us how to live out the ordinary days of this present life in ways that will matter into eternity future.

3. Revelation enables us to view reality from heaven’s perspective.

The book of Revelation is John’s record of a series of visions that he was given and instructed to write down for us. Through this record of his visions, we get to see the realities of heaven and earth from the perspective of heaven. Apart from this divine revelation, we’re limited to what we can see with our eyes and perceive with our senses. But with this divine revelation we can see into the worship of heaven. We can see the true nature of things on earth so that some of the things that seem valuable or beautiful are actually worthless and ugly. Likewise, what may seem like defeat is actually victory. What may seem insignificant from the vantage point of earth is actually of great worth.

4. Revelation reorients our shallow understanding of what it means to be blessed.

Revelation contains lots of sevens, including seven beatitudes—seven statements regarding what it means to be blessed. And the picture of the person who is truly blessed presented in Revelation is completely counter-intuitive. What many in our day consider to be the blessed life—a life of comfort and ease, a life filled with material things—is not true blessedness. Revelation shows us that true and eternal blessedness comes to the person who submits to Revelation’s call to bold allegiance to Christ even when it costs them their material comforts and perhaps even their lives. Blessedness, according to Revelation, is enjoyed by those who are prepared for and eager for Christ’s return. It is enjoyed by those who are living out of the righteousness that has been imparted to them by Christ and is being worked through their lives by his Spirit.

Anonymous said...

5. Revelation provides us with pictures of Christ that are different from the Gospels.

In the Gospels we get to see Jesus as he was when he took on human flesh and lived in this world for 33 years as a human being. Of course, Jesus is still a human being. He is the first resurrected, glorified human being. But he won’t be the last! Jesus reigns now on the throne in heaven as the one who is worthy to oversee the unfolding of history. Revelation helps us to see him as the glorious king who is going to come again as a divine warrior who will judge his enemies and set things right in his world. We get to see him as our faithful bridegroom who is coming soon to consummate his marriage with his bride. Revelation shows us a picture of Jesus, not only as the slain-yet-living Lamb, but also as our Shepherd who will protect and provide for us into eternity.

6. Revelation helps us to evaluate the character and content of our worship.

John was invited to see into the heavenly throne room where the triune God is worshiped in the way he is worthy of. His record of his vision in Revelation invites us to see and hear the angelic hosts of heaven—the people of the earth, and even all the creatures of earth, joining together in thunderous worship and celebration. We get to hear specifically what makes God worthy of our worship. This vision invites us to evaluate the passion, the content, and the motivation of our own worship. Peering into the worship of heaven stirs us to align our worship more fully with the worship of heaven.

7. Revelation is a call to patient endurance of suffering for our bold allegiance to Christ.

John addresses his letter to his “partners in the tribulation, the kingdom, and the patient endurance that are in Jesus.” There is tribulation that is inherent to living as a citizen of heaven in the kingdom of the world that hates and wants to silence the word of Christ. If the first recipients of this letter were going to stay faithful to Christ in the midst of persecution, and if we are going to stay faithful to Christ in the midst of marginalization or persecution, we need patient endurance. The whole of the book of Revelation serves as a call to overcome the pull of the world and the deceit of the devil over the long haul of our lives.

Anonymous said...

8. Revelation is a call away from the world’s acceptance, influence, and affluence.

When we read the letters to the seven churches in chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation, we realize that not all of the seven churches are facing the immediate threat of persecution. Some of them are instead facing the threat of comfort and compromise that will insure that comfort. If they go with the flow of the trade guilds and make sacrifices to the pagan gods, their income and acceptance in the community won’t be threatened. If they will just be silent rather than boldly witness to their allegiance for Christ, they can enjoy the benefits of Rome. But Revelation calls God’s people to “come out” of Babylon and to refuse to be seduced by her. It calls God’s people to be marked by our connectedness to Christ, not our capitulation to the beast.

9. Revelation invites us to celebrate—rather than be embarrassed by—the wrath of God.

Our modern world is all for a God of love. But it doesn’t really know what to do with a God of wrath. Many would like to purge God’s reputation and reality of wrath. But Revelation won’t let us do that. Instead, it invites us to sing along with the saints in heaven a song that celebrates wrath of God as a demonstration of his perfect justice and righteousness. Revelation shows us that it is the wrath of God that will fall on the earth that will cleanse and purify it. Revelation provides us with a response to the question, “Why doesn’t God do something about all of the evil and suffering in the world?” Its answer is: be patient. Evil’s day of doom is surely coming.

10. Revelation brings all the storylines of the Bible to a beautiful resolution.

When we get to the end of the book of Revelation, we’ve also come to the end of the Bible. And what we find is a fitting conclusion. The divine author has written a number of themes into his book that find their beginning in the first chapters of Genesis, develop throughout the history, wisdom, and prophets, and come to a climax in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. These themes come to resolution in the new creation as presented in the final chapters of Revelation. The marriage that began but faltered in Eden is consummated in Revelation. All of the children of God receive their promised inheritance. People from every nation flow into the city, making it a beautiful multi-national community. God dwells in his temple, which covers the whole of the earth. At the end of Revelation we see that Jesus, the second Adam, will not fail to lead us into a garden that will be even better than Eden, where we will enjoy fellowship with him for all eternity.

George H W Bush stepped into it deep with he spoke in 1991.

https://www.c-span.org/video/?525425-10/a-world-order

It was going that direction already by varying degrees (since the League of Nations) but he definitely left old world order behind in an epic way when he took the office of President. His old CIA know-how really kicked into gear. Globalism has a left leg and right leg to stand on, an east and west stance to globally govern as seen in the Prophet Daniel's vision of Iron Rome setting up the world for our more recent form of Democracy that gained much ground around the world since old systems of governance are systematically being done away with. Nations across the globe becoming more Democratic in this time frame.
However.
The globalists have the floor now to use the idea of Democracy but the intent is really a new world order and using Covid and Climate Change they are engineering everything into place to see the "Brave New World" happen, soon, not later. Clinton, took that ball and ran with it, and since, but then, and especially, under Obama the stage was set. Trumpus-interupptus was just a single shot and rather mild form of grace for warning the world to turn back. But, of course, God knew it would not turn back. That jig was up.

This blog is famous for splitting frog hairs 3 ways of past and irrevocable decisions (some were good but many more were bad, still on course for the vision of world governing back 100 years ago) that mean nothing now while America's Democratic Republic, the form which has been a democracy because people govern themselves, and also representative republic because people choose elected officials by free and secret ballot, but we can see (if paying attention) those days are gone. There is no fair Constitutionally steered election system in this nation anymore. That system has left the harbor and sailed away. We are left now with only iron and clay toes of the eastern world and western world to "stand on" leading directly to One World Government and it's Anti-Christ to take it's helm.
Prepare accordingly.

A number of people here have lost the plot in their mired 'up to their eyebrows' meaningless pastime of fighting and beating the air. A select few diehards, (especially the Troll of the blog) but really from both sides, are keeping themselves busy rearranging deck chairs on a doomed voyage.
This includes the blog owner.

8:12 pm yesterday:

Jimmy Carter was a politician and a peanut farmer...not a preacher nor a theologian. Carter was elected a GA State Senator 1963-1967, GA Governor 1971-1975 and US President, as we all know, 1977-1981. Accordingly, I believe when Carter read the very well-respected in his time theologian, Paul Tillich, in the 1950's and/or 1960's he had no idea about Tillich's personal lifestyle. He likely wasn't aware of his youthful 1920's and 1930's politics either nor every theological statement he'd ever made. It's not like Google was around back then to delve into such nuances. Hannah Tillich's (Paul's widow) didn't write her own autobiographical book which disclosed and/or sensationalized their supposed adulterous lifestyle until 1973, nearly 10 years after his death in 1965. I have no idea if it was well-read at all back then but it obviously wasn't the days of the internet where such things blazed around the world in 24 hours. I very much doubt Jimmy Carter knew about Tillich's adulterous lifestyle nor Tillich's ministry at Union Theological Seminary and Harvard. Tillich was dead..so it's not like he invited him into the White House (he didn't even invite his friend, Billy Graham to the White House).

I also think Carter's discussion of adultery and "condemnation" was right on. Not condemning does not equal condoning. In my mind, "condoning" would necessitate a more overt action like voting for and/or apologizing for active adulterers such as Ronald Reagan, Newt Gingrich, John McCain and/or Donald Trump.

Here's more on Carter - Tillich. They don't make Presidents lie Carter anymore, unfortunately:

Jimmy Carter Interview: Real Story Behind Egypt Israeli Peace Deal

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/jimmy-carter-faith_b_1184348

Excerpt: Q?: Who were some of your most influential religious teachers?

Well, my father was the main one. He was a Baptist deacon and Sunday school teacher, and I started going to Sunday school when I was 3. He shaped my early knowledge of Jesus, and I was baptized as a Christian when I was 11 years old.

Later, Billy Graham was probably the closest one to me. I believed what my father taught me about the separation of church and state, so when I was President I never invited Billy Graham to have services in the White House because I didn't think that was appropriate. He was injured a little bit, until I explained it to him.

Among the theologians, I think Paul Tillich is probably the one I have read the most because he shaped my thoughts about the relation between religion and politics and the fact that religious faith was not incompatible with political service. I tried to apply my religious beliefs when I was governor and later president without being ostentatious about it.

But I don't claim to be knowledgeable about theology. Most of my knowledge comes out of my experience and the lessons in the Bible. Every Sunday I'm home I teach 45 minutes and we boiled them down to one page for the new book, "Through the Year with Jimmy Carter."

Such a humble servant.

I kind of went down the rabbit hole last night and this morning quickly reading about him, his "ministry", his theology and his seemingly hidden adulterous life with Hannah Tillich (from her perspective). It appears Tillich went from betrayed husband, (his first wife got pregnant by another man and left him) to being the other man in his second wife, Hannah's first marriage (whom she divorced to marry Paul). I don't believe Paul Tillich ever wrote or discussed any of that publicly, which I wonder if there was ever any repentance later in life regarding such? Hannah's book supposedly suggested such but it's not like he divorced her. Hannah's book appears to indicate their marriage didn't remain "open" in later years. Hannah DID betray her own ex-husband and her book clearly represented she was not a Christian nor repentant.

I believe such adultery SHOULD HAVE kept him out of any legitimate pulpit and former President Carter, upon learning of such scandalous matters, hopefully stopped holding Paul Tillich in such esteem (assuming he ever learned about it).

I believe had Carter met the man knowing this all -- he'd not have condemned him but perhaps, confronted him personally about such indiscretions/sin and then, absent change, taken it to the church for church discipline in the hope of bringing about repentence and reconciliation.

Here's the Wikipedia account:

In 1912, Tillich was ordained as a Lutheran minister in the Province of Brandenburg. On 28 September 1914 he married Margarethe ("Grethi") Wever (1888–1968), and in October he joined the Imperial German Army as a chaplain during World War I. Grethi deserted Tillich in 1919 after an affair that produced a child not fathered by Tillich; the two then divorced.[12] During the war, Tillich served as a chaplain in the trenches, burying his closest friend and numerous soldiers in the mud of France. He was hospitalized three times for combat trauma, and was awarded the Iron Cross for bravery under fire. He came home from the war shattered.[13] Tillich's academic career began after the war; he became a Privatdozent of Theology at the University of Berlin, a post he held from 1919 to 1924. On his return from the war he had met Hannah Werner-Gottschow, then married and pregnant.[14] In March 1924 they married; it was the second marriage for both. She later wrote a book entitled From Time to Time about their life together, which included their commitment to open marriage, upsetting to some; despite this, they remained together into old age

p.s.- I am very heartened to see the associations of any of our Presidents investigated so thoroughly and carefully so as to bring to light such evils...even if by simple seemingly innocent association. It's a testament to how careful we all have to be with our discernment when we put our faith and trust in politicians representing us. IMO, Carter wasn't a perfect man...but he is/was a mountain of a man, President and husband vis a vis Reagan, McCain, Gingrich and/or Trump and should be recognized as such. I hope to see MORE democrats were like him.

After Jimma Carter finally turns room temp, Constance & Linda will show up to blabber on and on about what a great 'christian,' & humanitarian Carter was. We've already heard idolatrous praise from X, so expect more of the same from him.

Not a word will be mentioned that he supported infanticide, i.e., a "woman's right to choose," the LGBTQ agenda, gay marriage (while claiming that "jesus" would be for it), etc.

Interesting... I could say the same of those defending Reagan and the GOP for all the abortions they've authorized over the years while pretending to be Christian, pretending to oppose abortion and while posturing by saying things about democrats old and new like:

Carter the "christian" also came out as a pro-abortionist, that is, he favors infanticide.

Carter "favored it" much less than Reagan actually authorized it. Carter's view seems to be more restrictive than what I believe arguably to be the current GOP position of unlimited abortion through at least a beating heart --- 8 weeks of gestation for any reason whatsoever, then also for rape, incest and the actual medical life of the mother thereafter.

After Reagan legalized abortion in California in 1968 and prior to Roe v Wade in 1973 here's the numbers of abortions in California:

1966 - 0
1967 - 600
1968 - 5,030
1969 - 20,800
1970 - 65,369
1971 - 116,749
1972 - 138,584
1973 - 143,910

Reagan FAVORED infanticide just as Trump AND Biden favor infanticide today and tomorrow, in varying degrees and varying manners. I don't feel either Biden or Carter ever believed in abortion in their own personal lives...whereas Reagan and Trump, I'm sure, both likely paid for an abortion or two over the course of their lives. Neither lived/lives Godly lives.

In the end there is no significant delineation on this issue between the 2 dominant American political parties.

My mom and dad liked Jimmy Carter (and his TV show - Carter Country) but dad in particular disliked Bush, in fact he wrote him a letter after seeing Bush in his running shorts making a snide remake to reporters . In dad's letter he said ' l read your lips and they said you were a smart ass". After that he said he felt like he was being watched when he took a nap in the car before swing-shift l. When he woke up there was a nearby unusual car for awhile after sending the letter.

Evangelicals & the Bible

Over the past several years, as I’ve taught the Bible in various settings, I’ve heard something odd from evangelical people. And I’ve heard it often enough that it seems fair to call it a pattern. When I first began to hear it, I was baffled. I couldn’t imagine the sort of mindset that would give rise to the comment.

I began to hear it often enough from undergraduate students that I developed some responses that I’d trot out, using the occasion as a teaching moment.

Over the past few months, though, I’ve heard it more regularly, and I’ve tried to figure out what’s behind it. I’m not sure I’ve completely wrapped my head around it just yet, but I’m going to take a few posts to think out loud about it.

I think that the comment I’ve been hearing indicates something that’s a bit warped about how evangelicals regard the Bible.

Now, before I get into this discussion, there’s a bit of autobiography that may explain why this comment strikes me as very strange.

I was raised in a Bible family. We read passages of Scripture each morning. A few evenings a week my Mom made popcorn and my sisters and I would watch Moody filmstrips (filmstrips!) of Bible stories. We all participated in several Bible memorization programs throughout our childhoods. At family gatherings, there were lively discussions of difficult passages of Scripture and differences between Christian traditions. I pretty much grew up in the linguistic world of the King James Bible.

Soon after arriving at college, I owned the faith personally and began to devour the Bible. I poured over it, read it voraciously, marking up passages, discussing it with friends and roommates, and grabbing for any resources that would help me understand it. I was amazed that while I was so familiar with the Bible, there was still so much that was new.

I took a Bible backgrounds class my senior year and realized that while I might know a passage of Scripture really well, grasping its ancient cultural setting brought completely new levels of understanding. I was overwhelmed with how much more there was to discover.

I went off to seminary, then, with great eagerness to continue exploring and a love for learning. When I left seminary and entered my doctoral studies, I was blown away to discover new ideological worlds that made more parts of the Bible make greater sense.

This basic posture toward the Bible of excitement about continual discovery has never left me. And this is probably why the comment I’ve heard regularly over the last several years has caught my attention and left me baffled.

When I began teaching evangelical undergraduates, it wasn’t long before I heard a student say, “I’ve never heard this before.” My first response was, “I know, and there’s so much more to discover!”

But then I heard another variation: “I’ve never heard this before. What you’re saying isn’t biblical.”

Anonymous said...

I asked for clarification. The student responded by saying, “well, I think there’s a verse somewhere that says something like . . . ,” proceeding to blend together three different passages with the chorus of a praise song.

I figured this sort of thing was just the arrogance of youth, but it began to happen regularly. Just about three weeks into every semester, a student would raise his or her hand and say, “I’ve never heard this stuff before.”

I began to respond by saying, “you’re welcome! You or your parents are paying me thousands of dollars to tell you things that you don’t know. This is what we call ‘education’ and it sounds like I’m doing my job.”

It began to dawn on me, however, that there was something about evangelical culture that was making these students assume that if something was unfamiliar, it was unbiblical.

In the last few years, though, I’ve heard this comment from other evangelicals in other settings. It seldom comes from a posture of challenge, but from some sense of betrayal. A person lamented to me recently, “I’ve never heard this before. I’ve been in an evangelical church my whole life and this has never been taught.”

I’m currently teaching a course in a non-evangelical setting. The responses I’ve gotten have been telling. I’ve heard, “this is so interesting,” and “thank you, I’m really enjoying this and learning a lot.”

Only one person has said to me, “I’ve never heard this before.” You guessed it—an evangelical.

What strikes me as odd is that the very thing I have come to associate with studying the Bible—the excitement of discovery—is the very thing that somehow frustrates the evangelicals I’ve been teaching.

Like I said, I think this indicates that there’s something warped about how evangelicals regard the Bible.

Over the next few posts, I’ll try to get at this and offer some suggestions about what it might tell us.

Evangelicals & the Bible, Pt. 2

Yesterday I wrote that I’ve been struck by a comment I’ve heard over the last several years. It’s not that I hear it all the time, nor is it the only response I’ve heard from evangelicals (thankfully!). It’s just that whenever I’ve heard it, I’ve thought it unusual, and I’ve wondered about the underlying assumptions that give rise to it.

Sometimes it’s, “I haven’t heard this before, so you must be wrong.” More often, though, it’s something like, “I haven’t heard this before, and the fact that I haven’t heard this must be explained.”

As I indicated yesterday, I’ve come to understand evangelical identity as a posture of attentive submission to Scripture, a readiness to hear God’s word afresh and an obedient eagerness to have an ever-greater understanding of Scripture transform what we think and what we teach.

After reflecting on the aforementioned comment, it seems to me that it points to some corrupted postures toward the Bible on the part of evangelicals. I’ll offer some thoughts on this over the next few posts.

I think that the most decisive factor in shaping warped postures toward the Bible is evangelical involvement in the culture wars. Some of us have been told that “we” are the ones who are faithful to the Bible while “they” (“liberals,” “the media,” “skeptics,” etc.) are attacking the Bible. We need to defend the Bible, “uphold biblical values,” and advance the “biblical” teaching on this or that issue.

Unfortunately, the passionate heat of the culture wars has forced us into some unfortunate postures relative to the Bible. We might find ourselves facing our (perceived) opponents with our backs to the Bible.

In such situations, what is my role relative to the Bible? I’m there to wield the Bible as a weapon (the sword of the Lord?) in the battle for Truth and for the cause of righteousness in the culture.

Such a posture toward the Bible is inappropriate. We can fool ourselves into thinking that we already know it. We’re already “biblical.” “What, we need to study the Bible!? We already know it! It’s our job to tell others to be in subjection to it! They’re the ones who aren’t listening to what God says!”

But the end or purpose of the Bible is not for us to take it up as a weapon against others. The end or purpose of the Bible is for me to be shaped, transformed, rebuked, comforted, informed, enlightened, and rectified.

And this happens as I adopt appropriate postures toward it. I sit under it in submission to it. I sit long with it, studying diligently, listening obediently with an eager readiness to do what it says.

We are the objects of Scripture’s searching, revealing, exposing, transforming work. “Others”—”those people,” “out there”—are the objects of our love and service. Those who claim to be people of the Book ought to behave as those claimed by the One of whom the Book speaks, the One who gave his life for the life of his enemies.

The intensity of the culture wars—the feeling that there’s so much at stake—can frustrate us when our understanding of Scripture is challenged. It can make us impatient that we never stop learning, that we must always be willing to re-shape our understanding of what the Bible says. It reminds us that we are the first targets of the Bible’s transforming work.

It’s a problem if we’re more comfortable being God’s cops, his specially appointed agents of the transformation of others.

Liar in Chief tells another whopper. "Not a joke," does this guy EVER tell the truth about anything?

Joe Biden Lies, Tells Maui Fire Survivors He Has a Sense of ‘What It’s Like to Lose a Home’

President Joe Biden compared a small kitchen fire at his home in Delaware 19 years ago to the devastation in Lahaina, Maui, telling victims he had a sense of what it was like to “lose a home.”

“I don’t want to compare difficulties, but we have a little sense, Jill and I, what it’s like to lose a home,” he said while at the Lahaina Civic Center.

“To make a long story short, I almost lost my wife, my ‘67 Corvette, and my cat. But all kidding aside, I watched the firefighters, the way they responded…And they ran into flames to save my wife and save my family. Not a joke,” he added.

An Associated Press article from August 2, 2004, on the fire called it “small” and “contained to the kitchen.” It was under control in 20 minutes, according to the fire company chief.

It said:

Lightning struck the home of Sen. Joseph Biden, starting a small fire that was contained to the kitchen.

No one was injured in Sunday’s fire, which started amid a storm that caused serious flooding in Pennsylvania and knocked out power to hundreds of Delaware homes and businesses.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the house, but were able to keep the flames from spreading beyond the kitchen, said Cranston Heights Fire Company Chief George Lamborn.

“Luckily, we got it pretty early,” he said. “The fire was under control in 20 minutes.”

Nuland is married to Robert Kagan, co-founder in 1998 of the neoconservative Project for the New American Century, an extreme Israel first organization. Nuland was directly involved as an architect in the overthrow of the duly elected, pro-Russian government in Ukraine back in 2013/14, which led, in large part, eventually to Putin's invasion of Ukraine. Nuland easily travels within both of America's political parties while advancing the neoconservative warmongering policies.

Here's the video of this lying piece of human debris. He WAS NOT home when the SMALL fire occurred. He was in Washington DC.

One thing that law enforcement looks for when determining if a suspect is lying or not is if a person adds exaggerated embellishments to the account. Biden does this repeatedly, while adding insignificant details as a means to add credibility to the story.

Here's the video of his account of his little fire that was contained exclusively to the kitchen and was put out in 20 minutes. NO ONE'S LIFE WAS EVER IN ANY DANGER, neither was his precious '67 Corvette, which was parked in a garage!

Biden compared a small kitchen fire he once had in his home, to thousands of Maui residents losing their entire homes, cars, and possessions.

Indeed, the left loves war too.. Just look at the violence they have fueled on American streets.

There's all the more money in the game of war just like there's more power to exploit when you divide people against one another so that's a no-brainer.

War (on every front - foreign and domestic) has helped bring Left and Right together in unholy alliance -- against their own constituents, slip sliding into a giant cyclops of ruin and disaster. And where were people they didn't see this long time ago?

More about the corrupt, lying maggot that we have serving as POTUS:

'Corrupt Ukrainian Prosecutor' Biden Had Quid-Pro-Fired Was Praised By US Govt Months Before

A major hole has been blown in Joe Biden's fired Ukrainian prosecutor story.

New US government memos obtained by Just the News through a FOIA lawsuit reveal that the Obama Administration was still actively communicating with former Ukrainian Prosecutor Victor Shokin after Biden's December 2015 threat to withhold $1 billion in US aid unless then-President Petro Poroshenko fired him.

The memos, obtained by Just the News via FOIA lawsuit, reveal:

Senior State Department officials sent a conflicting message to Shokin before he was fired, inviting his staff to Washington for a January 2016 strategy session and sent him a personal note saying they were “impressed” with his office's work.

U.S. officials faced pressure from Burisma emissaries in the United States to make the corruption allegations go away and feared the energy firm had made two bribery payments in Ukraine as part of an effort to get cases settled.

A top U.S. official in Kyiv blamed Hunter Biden for undercutting U.S. anticorruption policy in Ukraine through his dealings with Burisma.

To review - starting in 2015, Ukraine’s top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, had an active and ongoing investigation into Burisma and its owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, according to a 2020 US Senate Committee report.

You may recall Zlochevsky from such hits as 'the Bidens coerced me to pay $10 million in bribes,' and 'I've got 17 recordings of the Bidens as insurance.'

Zlochevsky, who hired Hunter Biden to sit on his board, granted his own company (Burisma) permits to drill for oil and gas in Ukraine while he was Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources. Shokin stated in a 2019 deposition that there were five criminal cases against Zlochevesky, including money laundering, corruption, illegal funds transfers, and profiteering through shell corporations while he was a sitting minister.

Shokin's days were numbered... More HERE: https://www.zerohedge.com/political/corrupt-ukrainian-prosecutor-biden-had-quid-pro-fired-was-praised-us-govt-months

If Putin and Maga both hate Victoria Nuland and her conservative husband, Robert Kagan, then I think they are awesome…

Regarding Kagan being “ahead of the curve” like me Wikipedia provided this:

In February 2016, Kagan publicly left the Republican party (referring to himself as a "former Republican") and endorsed Democrat Hillary Clinton for president and argued that the Republican Party's "wild obstructionism" and an insistence that "government, institutions, political traditions, party leadership and even parties themselves" were things meant to be "overthrown, evaded, ignored, insulted, laughed at" set the stage for the rise of Donald Trump. Kagan called Trump a "Frankenstein monster" and also compared him to Napoleon.[45] In May 2016, Kagan wrote an opinion piece in The Washington Post regarding Trump's campaign entitled "This Is How Fascism Comes to America".[46] Kagan has said that "all Republican foreign policy professionals are anti-Trump."[47] In September 2021, Kagan wrote a related opinion essay published in The Washington Post by the title, "Our Constitutional Crisis Is Already Here".

Ret Col McGreggor has been discussed before here - he appears to me to be a Russian disinformation agent for hire.

Attorney Tierney someone quoted today is (in my opinion) an Opus Dei operative.

X

P.S. - pretending Trump as a president wasn’t a warmonger is kind of misplaced affections. He concocted the deadly deadline plan to get us out of Afghanistan while Biden actually gets the credit for getting us out despite the tragic plan. Further, Trump did instigate a war of fear, lies, delusion and hatred within the US and “made us racists again”. I guess you could call Trump a neo-reactionary (a new age Dark Enlightenment).

Sound familiar? Remember 'Containergeddon' in October, 2021?
When many ships were STUCK off the coast of Long Beach, California
(Walmart rivals even resorted to hiring their OWN ships.)

Now Jethro is linking “code pink” articles as the luciferians in the new age left and new age Maga right meld promoting Trump as the next “prince of peace”.

Started even back when they were crying for Trump to get a novel peace prize.

So weird. It’s all so weird.

Maybe this is completely crazy, maybe it isn't.

What if Constance is posting as X?

Constance never corrects X, never limits his posts, seems to be in agreement on everything, except X's negative statements about Catholicism, along with accusing practically everyone on the planet as being a member of Opus Dei, but that just might be a ruse, because most of what X says about Catholicism is so silly and nonsensical that it makes "Protestants" look ridiculous, which serves the purpose of the RCC.

Is Constance and X the same? I don't think it's all that crazy of a thought, do you?

10:26 AM It is ABSOLUTELY CRAZY! to think that Constance Cumbey and X are the same. It is far more likely that you are RayB and a RUSSIAN TROLL!

I’ll take that as a compliment.

Thanks,
