After reading some of the blog comments ridiculing the research time spent on Javier Solana, I felt compelled to respond.
Javier Solana is a high profile European diplomat. Solana’s curriculum vitae is extensive. Some of the more notable positions of which he was incumbent include Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs 1992 – 1995; NATO Secretary General 1995 – 1999; Secretary General of the Council of the European Union and EU High Representative from 1999 – 2009; Secretary General of the Western European Union 1999 – 2009.
Javier Solana’s tenure as Secretary General of the Western European Union (WEU) is one which garnered the attention of several global governance researchers (myself included). In her book The Western European Union, Sally Rohan opens with the question what was the role of this short lived institution? The answer is this ten-nation military alliance served to develop the European Union’s military architecture which was purposefully kept at a polite distance from the integration process. The Council of Europe was tasked with the integration process.
Javier Solana is the chief architect of the European Security and Defence Policy, an apparatus which later was transferred into the European Union which now is known as the Common Security and Defense Policy. The Lisbon Treaty references this architecture as it remains in place to this day.
An aspect of the WEU framework which was adopted by the Council of Ministers is the transfer of power mechanism – Recommendation 666 – whereby emergency powers are given to the High Representative in the event of a crisis. The position of High Representative, created under Section 666 of the Europa code, was to be filled by an individual having a strong political profile and backed by credible operational capabilities so that a cohesive EU strategy would be applied foremost to Russia, and secondarily the Ukraine and Mediterranean regions.
All of the above is ample rationale for the continued observation of both the position of High Representative as well as the chief architect of the EU’s military apparatus.
The current appointee to the High Representative position is Josep Borrell.
It has been reported that Josep
Borrell regularly consults with Solana on matters of foreign policy. Whether or
not this is the case, their messages appear to be harmonized. Before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine
both men had voiced the solution needed to be derived from European diplomacy. This
did not happen as the United States sidelined EU diplomacy citing its weak
foreign policy. Both Solana and Borrell since have advocated for China to
become the conflict’s mediator. Solana has long called for China to assume a
leading role
in global governance.
What’s disturbing is China’s assessment and proposed solution to the current crisis: it is the US-led NATO which is problematic and that Europe needs to complete its security architecture by achieving strategic autonomy. China calls for Europe sideline the United States and incorporate Russia into European security architecture which is what French President Macron had envisioned would be a counter-balance to US hegemony.
Both Borrell and Solana are working to achieve European strategic autonomy. While Solana says he does not envision Europe separating from the NATO security arrangements, he has articulated a vision of European control of NATO assets.
Solana’s work in formulating EU foreign and militarization policies has not diminished with his return to the private sector. He remains one of the movers and shakers of the EU’s Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO) programme. Solana’s defense policy paper mentions the EU Parliament’s authority over the military architecture. There is none. The Parliament’s voice is consultative only. The paper paves ways coalitions of member states who wish to engage in military action would be able to work around the unanimity rule, i.e., through the instrument provided in the Lisbon Treaty called Enhanced Cooperation.
The Enhanced Cooperation instrument was explored several years back with the proposal that Core Defense Groups be formed so that military action would not be subject to objecting states’ vetoes. The 1999 Amsterdam Council had expressed concerns that Enhanced Cooperation could be used as a means to circumvent the Council of Ministers and warned that it should never be used in defense policy as that would be dangerous.
Solana presently chairs an initiative called ENGAGE – Envisioning a New Governance Architecture for a Global Europe – which is a consortium of legal experts brought together to explore the EU treaties and to form a legal basis to overcome the “bipolarity” of EU external actions. In other words, while they pay lip service to unanimity, the intent is to find avenues to circumvent it.
On March 22, Solana addressed the conference hosted by the European Parliament Office in Barcelona entitled “2022 The Year of European Defense” where he called for the further development of the EU’s military capabilities. Soon thereafter, some Members of European Parliament (MEPs) warned of the dangers associated with the EU’s current militarization trajectory. MEP Ozlem Demirel said “the speed with which all this has now happened clearly shows that nothing has been thought up and decided upon on an ad hoc basis. We are talking about arming programmes that have been ready to go for a long time and which the EU is now taking advantage of the situation for.”
MEP Hannah Neumann’s assessment that the EU Parliament is shut out of defense decisions reflects an understanding of the Parliament’s powerlessness over military matters.
Notwithstanding Solana’s calls for
China to assume more of a leading role in global governance, some of his
statements on the Ukraine conflict sound perfectly rational: that the West is now experiencing
the consequences for the false promise of Ukraine’s entry into NATO; that the
world cannot afford a third world war with nuclear weapons; and that the Ukraine
conflict can end only with a diplomatic agreement.
Solana acknowledges that at the present time he is not in a position to negotiate the diplomatic solution. Perhaps he is to remain in the private sector and only effect change without the backing of credible capabilities. Nevertheless, the current High Representative position carries the weight of the architecture Solana designed should the Council or a Core Defense Group activate one particular instrument from their toolkit.

Here the writer expresses the opinion that the EU hasn’t employed diplomats since Barroso and Solana who are competent enough to handle Ukraine policy. He then calls for “a strong and serious commissioner…to be given overall responsibility for Ukraine, as Solana and Füle had.” The writer’s perception is that Josep Borrell lacks the strength to stand up to Russia.
There are voices within the European Union who have said the EU would lead the system of global governance. In its Global Governance 2025 report, the US Office of the Director of National Intelligence in conjunction with the EU Institute of Security Studies lays out the case that its best hope for global governance is a European launch.
Solana’s past role in global governance has been far from insignificant. Whatever his future role turns out to be, I expect it not to be minuscule.

Pfizer and Moderna og formulations are NOT approved. AT ALL. COMIRNATY and SPIKEVAX are approved for certain populations. Yet because there are not sufficient quantities of COM and SPK to cover the approved population groups, both og formulations have had their respective EUAs renewed. Now, if the og and the approved versions are in fact the same formulations, why not just approve BOTH the og versions as well as COM and SPK? Why the continued distinctions?
Yet the APPROVED versions can be interchanged with the og, [supposedly] because they share the same make-up. How can that be if the og merely have EUA status (no matter the population group), while the others have APPROVED status (for certain populations)?

OK, then. But the Pfizer og cannot be used in place of COM. If og and COM are the same formulation, then why couldn’t the og be administered to the 16 yr+ group?
This article contains a handy chart and makes the following claim:
Comirnaty and the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine have the same formulation and can be used interchangeably to provide the COVID-19 vaccination series.
When used under the FDA approval the vaccine is called Comirnaty and when used under a EUA it is called Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine.
The above seems to be saying that an og-label can be used as an APPROVED COM in the approved group. But this contradicts the FDA to Pfizer pdf. Again, from page 11:
C. There is no adequate, approved, and available alternative[21] to Pfizer-BioNTech COVID‑19 Vaccine to prevent COVID-19.
[21] Although COMIRNATY (COVID-19 Vaccine, mRNA) and SPIKEVAX (COVID-19 Vaccine, mRNA) are approved to prevent COVID-19 in certain individuals [ED: aged 16+, e.g.] who fall within the scope of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine authorization, there is not sufficient approved vaccine available for distribution to this population in its entirety at the time of reissuance of this EUA…
The above clearly implies that the og CANNOT be substituted for COM. In other words, if the EUA had to be re-upped because of supposed shortages of COM, then the og is NOT approved AT ALL.

You are wondering what the legal differences are while then using them to cast doubt on the actual vaccine.
If the vaccines are approved, they’re all approved (for specific ages at this point but probably/possibly all ages come mid-June) but right now they continue under the EAU where the brand names that are authorized (without needing the same legal “approval” carry on.
I’m not saying it’s clear or that I know this for sure. Which is probably the point of those pushing this antivax argument. U don’t have to actually prove your argument, just create confusion pointing at the legalese and fine print as if there’s a point to it the claim it might imply something it really doesn’t. Keep it simple. The vaccines have been successfully and fully field tested on billions worldwide. They’re all “approved”.
I wonder if once they do switch to branded vials if the antivaxxers will whipsaw this argument to then claiming the brand names weren’t ever actually tested because they are legally distinct from the EAU vaccines, like Pfizer/Moderna have to start over testing these vaccines.

There is confusion, certainly. And this can create opportunity. Why have the APPROVED version available when you can continue to enjoy all the perks of EUA--the limited liability. At the same time, you have the media and Big Pharma shills running cover for you, making it sound (almost) as though there is no longer an EUA. It's all approved, so YAY!
You can then send the FDA-APPROVED versions overseas, where the approval means nothing. That is, should there be any vaxx injury, the individual is out of luck, for the liability only applies within the confines of the US. It's the US FDA, after all.

As Rayb pointed out...they have limited liability either way.
I don't know exactly why they haven't just switched over to the legally distinct "branded" vaccine yet. It may relate to liability, production, distribution, the amount of the previous vials they have on hand when they thought they were going to be vaccinating the entire world, patents or maybe because the government prefers it this way for a variety of political reasons such as COST of acquisition (saving $9/dose paid into some vaccine victim compensation fund is big money). You call it a loophole, and perhaps it is to some extent I don't know, but that's unrelated to safety.
But whatever the reason, the "APROVALS" (to the extent approvaed) still stand upon the brand names and their equivalent EAU administered vaccine candidate name.
The "chapter and verse" statute I used to make that first initial statement was my cliffnote version opinion bridging the provision and it's footnote based upon the provision you quoted and footnote 21. You appeared to be complicating, convoluting and overstating a distinction relating to the legal distinctions and pretending it implied more than it did (i.e. - an actual on the ground vaccine distinction).
If I hold up a vial of the branded Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or a vial of the EAU Pfizer vaccine and Moderna vaccine...the liquid in all those vials is FDA Approved.
If the covid vaccines are approved for under 5 mid-june, perhaps then the FDA will begin the process of moving the approved vaccines (and any remaining counterparts in the other vials) into the vaccine injury compensation thing (don't recall the exact name) and all this attempted machinations will become moot.

p.s. - I did try to find an explanation and it appears to me both Pfizer and Moderna submitted for and obtained FDA approval under one set of regulations while they continue distributing their, now approved, vaccines under the EAU until some later time. The conspiracy appears to erroneously exploit and create questions by conflating two different ways the FDA is regulating Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine.
FYI: The Bilderberg Group (Globalists) are meeting this week in secret... for their annual meeting in Washington, D.C. (In past years, they have met in Chantilly, Virginia.)
WHY is it necessary that they meet in secret? Because they are the 'shadow govenment'... the ones who actually 'decide' WHO will become President... like Barack Obama in 2008 ~ even BEFORE he received the nomination from all of the states at the Democratic convention!!!

I have been reading in the Proverbs in devotion time in the mornings.
There is a takeaway for myself...motives that don't belong in my life, expressions that don't reflect the faith in Jesus I say I believe. It's common to all of us and I know that giving others the benefit of doubt is needed, grace is needed very much. It gave me pause, as it should have.
Then my thoughts turned to this place.
Those Proverbs are so telling, exacting, about what behaviors are counterproductive, divisive, and wrong in the heart and mind, that get often displayed in the every day life. We can all take note of what applies to us. Honest people can admit this is really important, needful.
Many of those negatives that are perpetrated upon this blog, with a haughty spirit.

He equates tribalism with conservatism. He says there is nothing else. There is no such thing as progressivism, because he thinks progressivism would not consist of tribalism - if I follow his logic. He sees it as tribalism, too, I surmise. Therefore he sees it as really another form of conservatism, since he says conservatism is tribalism.
It's a weird argument, but at least he is thinking and provoking people to think. I agree with his ideas but not with his terms.

Chicago has one of the strictest set of gun control laws in the entire country.
How's that working out?
The bottom line is this; illegal guns are just as easy to obtain as are illegal drugs. Criminals will always find a way to buy guns. In fact, the bulk of the guns on the street that are being used by drug gangs, criminals, etc. are illegal. Why? Because illegally purchased guns cannot be traced to them. Criminals laugh at gun control laws because they know that all this will do is disarm law abiding citizens, making their prey that much easier to rob, rape and murder.
Why should law-abiding citizens' rights be penalized for the actions of criminals?
What we really need to 'control' is the 'entertainment' industry which pollutes our young people with radical VIOLENCE, 24/7 ... including violent video games.

Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Hawaii, Rhode Island, Connecticut and California, where there are some gun regulations in place, are the 7 states (from #1 to #7) with the lowest gun death rates in the country.

Just saying. The days of favoring gun over kids strictly for political purposes are over. There is nothing wrong with a "well regulated" gun industry and moderate protections. We've got to try something.
It took a little while and a concerted effort but raising the drinking age to 21 over the course of my life has reduced the incidences of alcohol related crashes significantly among teenage drivers. A lot of high schooler's don't even drink now until they get to college...at least far more than in the 1970's.
Getting booze out of older high schoolers' hands was a good idea in the late 1970's as is getting guns out of their hands now too.

Any person that whispers a single word or posts a single comment about black lives matter or any liberal organization, person or cause anywhere on social media at any time, even years prior is forever labelled as a criminal and painted with any arrest or criminal behavior of any person, no matter how remotely associated, with such groups, but Trump and other Maga leaders aren't tarnished at all after dozens of trump officials and administration persons have been indicted and convicted. In fact, Donald Trump himself has been credibly accused of committing at least 48 criminal offenses while he was serving as President of the United States or campaigning for that office. Maga persons can even express support for Jan 6 insurrectionists without remorse or shame. Video even comes out the last few days showing the leaders of Proud Boys and Steven Rhodes of Oath Keepers conspiring on January 5th and it's hardly even news. My theory is that the evil-doers want to DIVERT the public... by quickly moving on to the next 'false flag' event... so we don't spend too much time playing 'detective' (they don't want us to connect all of the dots). Out of sight, out of mind, etc.

The taxi cab video did NOT prove there were two very distinct shooters. It was echo's and the fact the shooter was utilizing two different windows to shoot from...one facing the cab and the other slightly around the corner. That is the reason for two different sound perspectives on top of the echos produced as sound bounces off concrete all around the area.
There were hundreds of videos with varying perspectives which corroborate there was only one shooting location with two windows broken out. No other windows were broken out.

While Trump was president, it was one extreme versus another. One one side, he couldn't catch a break or receive credit where credit was due. If he said it, it was bad. If he did it, it was bad.
On the other side, as Christine mentioned, there was a tendency to "trust the plan" or to admire his 4D chess. He became viewed sometimes as if he was invincible. He seemed as if he was a winner who would always win.
Deviating from either of these group think tendencies, in the midst of either group, could make real communication difficult, if not impossible, at times.
I have been seriously considering becoming apolitical. Some people may know how to balance their politics with their Christianity. Maybe I just have too much of a tendency to become obsessive, so I can't pull it off. I want to focus more on the gospel and maybe even spreading it rather than getting mad at the people who don't believe in it.
Oh, I would still vote Republican. But politics would not have to occupy so much of my bandwidth, as if I could help to fight some sort of info war just by doom scrolling on a daily basis.
I think summer could be more fun if it were to be free of doom scrolling.
If I'm not around for a while, rest assured it probably means I'm enjoying myself, and I'm okay.

The achievement of American energy independence was one of the biggest successes during the Trump administration.
But my 2022 vote will not be about presidential policies. It will be strongly influenced by what I experienced and observed during the COVID pandemic.
I used to be a commuter, and my husband used to be a commuter. We used to be young, just getting started, with no discretionary income, living paycheck to paycheck. Even after we made it, we lost two-thirds of our savings and home equity during the recession, and then we were losing a little bit of money every month for quite a few months. I know what it's like, and I feel for the people who are being hit hard by high gas prices.
But I don't really need anybody to convince me or manipulate me or debate with me or give me click bait to read every day for the next several months until November. Shortly after the pandemic began I had already made up my mind that I would vote Republican at the mid-term election. My resolve has never changed ever since.
You should ask yourself what you hoped to accomplish by your comment to me. Did you feel a need to justify your vote to me? Why? Did you think I needed to be persuaded to vote Republican? Does that mean you didn't believe me, and you think I'm secretly trying to undermine you, because I deviated from the customary narratives and talking points?
You should ask yourself what your comment did to fight those high gas prices. Maybe you should be saying it in a place where more Leftists are gathered. Some of them may be union voters who could possibly listen to you as the Reagan Democrats were influenced to vote for Reagan.

Once the EXPERIMENTAL 'vaccines' were made available, my neighbors (husband & wife) pulled up as I was working in my front yard to declare that they were now "immunized" due to their getting jabbed. Subsequently, they have both received all of the latest 'booster' shots.
Earlier today, I was again in my front yard when the same neighbor pulled into my driveway in order to inform me that his wife had recently suffered 2 heart attacks and at least one stroke. After extensive tests, her Dr. indicated that she may have had as many as EIGHT strokes!
Coincidence? I don't know. But it sure seems odd that a person that was relatively healthy and active is suddenly having all of these unusual health issues.

You can't pretend words Mr. Brooks wrote on social media in June of 2020 at the height of the nationwide upset of black persons after the senseless murder of George Floyd are directly tied to his actions in November, 2021.

By the way, I also consider myself to be 'apolitical,' which may surprise some people on this blog. My definition of apolitical is that I have no hope in politics or politicians. I've said this before; with Democrats you get a high speed bullet train. With Republicans you get a locomotive. In the end, they both end up at the same train station. It's the corrupt nature of politics that ensures the end result.
Soon after I became a Christian, I began to pull away from politics (a very long story). I began to take Biblical stands at work which put me in harms way of the political system, eventually leading to my losing my job, which was during a deep recession, but turned out to be a huge, positive turning point in my life (after many trials and tribulations).
When it comes to individual politicians, and politics for that matter, I am at best an agnostic, but realistically, more of an atheist. Simply put, I don't put my trust in ANY man (or woman, if that can be defined), particularly politicians and lawyers (almost every politician in DC is a liar, sorry, I meant to say lawyer). It wasn't God and His Word, except in cursory manner. We have drive-in, drive by, everything these days, convenience has ruined us..entertained to the hilt.
The spiritual devastation of our homes and families is rampant, definitely, prosperity played it's part to heavily distract us, is running it's course. Pride is our undoing. Pride is a bitter, very persistent, very resistant root.

When the covid vaccines were first studied prior to even receiving authorization for you use under the EAU there were something like 9 pages of potential adverse reactions the efficacy studies were designed to watch for. Now, after billions of doses have been administered worldwide and the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines have been approved, the FDA has tasked them with doing continued "post-authorization observational studies to evaluate the association" of both covid vaccines with a few known, mostly mild, adverse reactions of particular heightened interest.
Is there something in particular that troubles you about this?
Such studies may glean some very valuable information such as...the Moderna booster dose was a 1/2 dose....did that make a significant difference in the rates and/or severity of adverse reactions?

There are isolated convictions for election fraud across the country on both sides of the aisle. You neglected to report this Philly conviction did NOT involve the 2020 election. In fact is was largely or entirely involving primary elections and effeced most often which Democrat won the primary election (meaning the victims were also Democrats that lost their primary elections). I think the fact remains that most 2020 election fraud charges and convictions still mostly involve Trump supporters.

From what I've read...the claim is bogus.
Kyle DID kill two people. He admitted that in court. IMO, you can be a murderer factually, even if you’re legally acquitted. An acquittal doesn’t change that one murdered another.
Rittenhouse, however, admitted to killing; he simply claims it was legally justified, which a jury agreed with. From what I saw and heard of that court case, I personally would have convicted him of murder. I don't remember if it was this case or not but the prosecutor, IMO, should have brought 2nd Degree charges as well but there's risks to doing that as Jury's sometimes apparently get sympathetic and give defendants breaks too often if given the a lessor charge to fall back on.
Besides, calling somebody a ‘murderer’ is an opinion, which I have First Amendment rights to share (a competing legal right) even after the person is found ‘not guilty.’ At that point, one can still call them a murderer, just not a ‘convicted murderer. Since nobody has called Rittenhouse that, besides the fact that anyone can walk into a courthouse and sue anyone ---- Kenosha Killer Kyle has no real case (again...in my opinion).
The really ironic part of the whole "white supremacist" part of his potential claims is the fact the only reason we're still talking about Killer Kyle is because actual adult white supremacists have made the caucasified thug their new hero. That means events that happen even years later and have no obvious connection to a vaccine, such as feelings of anger, end up reported in the system, says Talaat. “It’s very open and public and searchable. Since it’s so transparent, people don’t really understand what it’s for. They think it’s things that are vetted and have causal relationships with the vaccine.”
Talaat says the best source of research stemming from VAERS is the CDC, because they are able to trace the records backward and verify them. For example, by January 10, 2021, VAERS logged 1,266 reports of adverse events following the Moderna vaccine. The CDC and FDA flagged 108 of those cases for further review. Ultimately, 10 of those cases turned out to be anaphylaxis, a severe allergic reaction, with nine of the affected people having a history of allergic reactions or allergies—including five of those nine with a history of anaphylaxis specifically. This screening allowed doctors to advise vaccination sites to continue following CDC guidance for administering vaccines as they had been.
When researchers notice a pattern, such as an uptick in side effects after a particular vaccination or among a particular group of patients, such as women over 65 or people with diabetes, they can follow up by investigating with other safety monitoring systems, such as the Vaccine Safety Datalink, which can connect adverse events to medical records and reports from health care facilities and practitioners. Importantly, in addition to being verified, this data includes controls, Talaat says. That's because medical data for women over 65 or diabetics would include reports from both vaccinated and unvaccinated patients.
VAERS doesn’t reveal how many people report the same reaction, nor how many in an unvaccinated population report the same thing. By following up with other monitoring systems, researchers can determine if, for example, the population of people who report getting arthritis after a vaccine is the same as a control group getting arthritis in the same period, which would rule out the vaccine as the cause.
“The COVID vaccine especially is where VAERS has gotten so misused,” Talaat says. “Eighty percent of people in this country have gotten at least one dose. Well, a lot of things have happened to 80% of people in the last two years that are unrelated to the vaccine.” In particular, Talaat adds, many anti-vaccination proponents misattributed reported deaths after COVID-19 vaccination as evidence that the vaccines are not safe. “You are supposed to report deaths in a certain period after vaccination,” she says. “But the reality is, if you are 90 years old and have a heart attack, or diabetes, or are in the hospital [at the time of vaccination], it’s probably not related [to the vaccination].”
Still, a team investigates each report of death. So far, the only deaths related to COVID-19 vaccination have been extremely rare cases after the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Fires happen. Accidents happen. In 2019 there were about 36,000 food manufacturing plants across the country. 92 fires is nothing. RayB even listed a fire in Hamilton, Ontario so obviously his list included fires in Canada even though his claim was regarding US-based food processing manufacturing sites.
Taking note of them and putting them in a long list to make it look bigger and even associated with each other does not a conspiracy make.

The USDA told Reuters via email that the claims saying these fires were caused by arsons are false.
Senior Vice President of Communications at the National Chicken Council Tom Super told Reuters via email that the claims seemed to be “fake news.”
“I can only speak for chicken, but like any manufacturing plant/industry, there are generally a few fires that occur each year across the country. The majority of them are accidental and are contained rather quickly. And certainly not enough to affect the chicken supply,” Super said.
A representative for General Mills, one of the companies named in the posts being shared, told Reuters via email that the company has not “experienced any arson at our manufacturing facilities.”
“On April 21, a small plane crashed near the General Mills Covington, GA cereal and snack manufacturing facility,” General Mills said. “No employees were harmed, the plant did not experience any disruptions and it remains fully operational.”
