Javier Solana Still Speaking for World?

Javier Solana: Still speaking for the world?

That moon over Michigan sure looks pink to me tonight. As such a moon usually stimulates me (just kidding about the moon stimulation!), I go and see what Javier Solana is currently up to. No special reason apart from that. But he sure still seems to be THE SPOKESMAN for the world, or at least for the United Nations Security Council. Javier Solana says there will be no sanctions against Iran “as long as talks continue.” Now, since the USA has made it clear that they, above all else, desire that their designated spokesperson (Solana) be the sole channel that Iranian proposed deals come through, and since he, Solana has now made it clear, even in the express USA demand that there now be sanctions against Iran for missing their deadlines; but Solana says, NO SANCTIONS, as long as Iran is still talking [to him], it’s getting pretty clear who is boss and it isn’t the USA’s George W. Bush.

In the meantime, his conferring allies on the Alliance of Civilizations and implementation of the Helskinki Process are busy making plans to have even local churches submit to a UNAOC (United Nations Alliance of Civilizations) snoopervisory, oops, supervisory organization. Read something here and better still, “google/yahoo” it for yourself!

Well, I think I’ll walk outside and take another look at that moon, surely not . . .!

I got a good chuckle reading this part...

One basic issue was the multilateralism and the reinforcement of the United Nations capability for very rapid action, not only in cases of entrenched conflict, but, at the point of prevention or at the start of conflict.

The UN and the word "rapid" should never be used in the same sentence.
im am tired of the everyday updates why dont we just tell everyone that the democrats will unfortunately win the nov. elections we will pull from iraq go to war with hezzzzz., damascus (this will be the end to dam. by the way, will need peace, bam enp. nyr's if not wil lean that way shia-sunni inter war will help europe controls m.e. foreign policy now as we know and un fjsm humm enter the i have the answer spaniard which will survie an gun shot to the dome im tired of this i just wish everyone could know can we start a motion pic project and get away with it lol god bless
VBG! Maybe the moon here in the Chicago area will turn pink very soon. (BTW, we had a beautiful honey-colored harvest moon the other night, when it was full.)
That UN press release concerning the Alliance of Civilations (AOC) almost has the same tone as the Tara Center's "Christ Is Now Here" campaign. I wonder if this is the vehicle that Benjamin Creme's "Maitreya" will make his long-awaited emergence. I think the AOC is really what the New Age Movement has been working towards. It incorporates all of the goals of the New Age Movement.

This is an article on the Alliance of Civilizations. I took the following sentence from it:
"The Turkish media has reported that there is a "second phase" to the project: the establishment of another world body parallel to the UN, to be called "The World Parliament," which will include representatives of all the faiths and cultures of the world."

"..."Later, the worldwide implementation of the recommendations will begin. Upon achievement of the targeted results, the U.N. will launch the second phase of the project, for the establishment of a 'World Parliament.' The 'Alliance of Civilizations' will constitute the basis for the future 'World Parliament,' in which Turkey [and Spain] will enjoy special [i.e. preferred] status."

I wonder if it has any relation to the Parliament of World Religions initiative called United Religions Initiative. If so, it might push the Muslim community into New Age thinking.
has more commentary.

"cultural arrogance" ?

well someone's arrogance. anyway.
Maybe this can be their new spokesman:

The core of the Judeo-Christian tradition says that we are utterly and distinctly apart from other species. We have dominion over the plants and the animals on Earth. God gave it to us, it’s ours—as stated succinctly in the book of Genesis. Liberals would sooner trust the stewardship of the Earth to Shetland ponies and dung beetles. All their pseudoscience supports an alternative religion that says we are an insignificant part of nature. Environmentalists want mass infanticide, zero population growth, reduced standards of living, and vegetarianism. The core of environmentalism is that they hate mankind. Everything liberals believe is in elegant opposition to basic Biblical precepts.

_ Our religion says that human progress proceeds from the spark of divinity in the human soul; their religion holds that human progress is achieved through sex and death.

_ We believe in invention and creation; they catalog with stupefaction the current state of our diminishing resources and tell us to stop consuming.

_ We say humans stand apart from the world and our charge is Planet Earth; they say we are part of the world, and our hubristic use of nature is sinful.

_ We say humans are in God’s image; they say we are no different morally from the apes.

_ We believe in populating the Earth until there’s standing room only and then colonizing Mars; they believe humans are in the twilight of their existence.

Our book is Genesis. Their book is Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring, the original environmental hoax.
On August 29, the Tamar Yonah show on Israel National Radio featured a professor who talked about the New Age movement. You can hear the show thru your computer speakers.

He did not go into the political end of the movement or the organizational connections of the New Age movement however. There is a good presentation about the pagan gods of the Greeks and why nature worship is so detrimental to people who sponsor that kind of thinking. Have you ever wondered who Gaia was and why New Age people keep talking about Gaia as the earth woman? Listen in.

Greek gods, Skull and Bones, Bohemian Grove and the New Age: Why These Cults hate Judaism
Ever wonder how Greek Mytholgoy came into being? Were these 'gods' based on the Nephilim - the Giant Races in the Bible? What other cults emerged throughout history, and why do they all hate Judaism? Prof. Eugene Narrett,, explains the origins of today's cults, how some of todays leaders are believed to be involved in these cults, and the spiritual war against the Torah and Judaism.

Jews can be taken in by charlatans however. Israel National Radio is still featuring the Al Cuppet two part take on the New World Order.

I heard something on TV today. "Why did so-and-so hate the Jews?" Because everybody hates the Jews (Just remembered, it was Jessica Stern on Encore Booknotes). I have a crazy theory: since the Bible teaches that the Jewish people at the second advent will be saved, is it possible that Satan believes if he can eliminate all the Jews before then that he gets a do-over?
"Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters.."

"Now, since the USA has made it clear that they, above all else, desire that their designated spokesperson (Solana) be the sole channel that Iranian proposed deals come through..."

"Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns"

"The beast which was and is not, is himself also an eighth and is one of the seven, and he goes to destruction. 'The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.'"

The woman (aka Lady Liberty, New York-NY, US supported UN, the US)is now fully on the beast.

9/11 was just a foreshadowing of Rev 18 - Babylon is fallen, fallen (two towers - two falls) - it appears that NY will fall first then the entire US - there is nothing we can do to stop it - ironic that Medo Persa brought down the Babylonian empire and it will do it again but with supenatural help.

"Look up our redemption draws near."
I think all the interperatations comparing the U.S. to Babylon are all very interesting. However there are many other countries who also fit when you study there past as well. Not to say that the U.S. wont eventually fall. It absolutely will, as the tribulation covers the whole earth.
However I do find it very interesting that the muslim leaders are now calling on Iraq to now become the new califat or however you spell it. This has been described by the muslim leaders to become the world wide capitol of Islaam. I heard it on the news on the radio, and if I can find some printed news I will link. Its interesting how it has been called for in the area of ancient Babylon.
I would like to direct everyone's attention to Herb Peters' web site to the article "All Coming Together". There is very important information on the Alliance of Civilizations.

Please share with Herb the UN Security Council Partnership of Civilizations document if you haven't already discussed. Thanks.
Serious question. What is the Christian end times scenario being projected for this time in history? What are the phases that are supposed to happen at the end of time? Are you prepared to live in the new culture planned by New Age leaders if it really isn't end times as projected by the various branches of the Christian community? How do you feel about those who warn about what might be the coming culture you will be forced to live in?

There are several opinions on this. My own opinion is that that no one knows when the end-times are projected for, as the Lord said only His Father possessed that information. I believe He could return at any time, or that--more likely--we could go to Him at any moment. The Bible says the spirit of antichrist is among us now (1 John 2:22, 1 John 4:1-3). Paul teaches in 2 Thess. 2:

Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

Some folks say the temple referred to is a third Jewish temple, others that the temple referred to in this passage is, in fact, the church.
This is an interesting article on the Organization for Security and Co-operation of Europe (Helsinki Process) which paved the way for the NATO bombing in the Kosovo crisis.
I'm trying to find an online version of the counterterrorism report that was released by the white house last week. I've checked the White House Office of the Coordinator for Counter-terrorism web site but no luck finding it. Does anyone know how to obtain an online copy?

For White House Report

I found George W. Bush's speech tonight personally disturbing. What are opinions of readers. I posted a detailed comment, but mysteriously, it didn't make it up there.
Rich in Medford,

The attached link may prove interesting to you on your Alliance of Civilizations/OSCE research:
Constance, could it be that Bush used the phrase "clash of civilizations" and this is also used as part of a book title. From Wikipedia:
"The Clash of Civilizations is a controversial theory that people's cultural/religious identity will be the primary source of conflict in the post-Cold War world. Popularized by Samuel P. Huntington, it was originally formulated in an article entitled "The Clash of Civilizations?" published in the academic journal Foreign Affairs in 1993. The term itself was first used by Bernard Lewis in an article in the September 1990 issue of The Atlantic Monthly titled "The Roots of Muslim Rage." Huntington later expanded his thesis in a 1996 book The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order."

"Also, in recent years the theory of Dialogue Among Civilizations, a response to Huntington's Clash of Civilizations, has become the center of some international attention. The concept, which was introduced by Mohammad Khatami, was the basis for United Nation's resolution to name the year 2001 as the Year of Dialogue among Civilizations. [1] [2] In 2005 Secretary General Kofi Annan launched an initiative called Alliance of Civilizations."

What bothered me was that he focused so much on liberty and freedom as what we were promoting in other countries when we have less freedom and fewer liberties these days here in the US as the government controls more and more of our lives. But then again, as was said of Sweden, "Because they had sexual freedom, they thought they were free."

Thanks Constance and Anon for the posted links--much appreciated.

Constance, as I glanced at the opening page of the OSCE document, as expected, I notice that Spain is involved. Spain combat anti-semitism? Its almost like asking Satan if hell is hot!

I noticed an article from the Canadian Jewish News that is very interesting. Someone there is awake:

A noteworthy thing about the OSCE and 2007. Spain is scheduled to be its Chair in Office during that year. With the OSCE being one of the implementors of the Alliance of Civilizations (under the guise of democracy), it stands to be a very interesting year. Per the OSCE, its decisions are "politically but not legally binding" on its member states. By a Helsinki Process document's interpretation, this means that a nation must implement an OSCE decision even though the country's legislature may not approve.

I’ll bet this type of headline will be banned following the antichrist’s false miracle of bringing fire from the sky:

Mysterious light not so mysterious after all - “FAA officials say the sun was at just the right angle before sunset to reflect off the jet and create the illusion of smoke and fire.”

Thank you Watching Very Closely for the link I requested.

I saw the article. Too bad. I guess some leaders are competing to see who can be the biggest dopes on the planet. I think a lot of it comes down to trying to appease the Islamo-fascists and co.
European Union Backtracks on Promises
leads to this article
where we find:

Yusef said Hamas can offer Israel a hudna, a long-term cease-fire, but not a peace agreement. "It is possible to reach an agreement for calm between the two sides for many years, and then the situation can be reconsidered," he said.

Oh wow...what a great offer.

Yeah..what a great offer... makes you wonder if that "hudna" might be for 7 years....?
“Jerusalem the holy city of three major religions, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, plays a very symbolic and very powerful part in the current tensions between the Muslem world and the western world. I think it would be equally powerful as a symbol if Jerusalem were to become the center, acknowledged as the center of all of these three religions.”

Now isn't it another case of making the term come to life for the general public?

PS Thanks for the link to the Tutu site. I'll listen later.

I seen the Tutu video and it made me want to barf!

It is obvious that this "Alliance of Civilations" is the spirit of antichrist at work and being made ready to go into full gear.

Our Lord's Return for His Church draws nigh!
Anon 4:01,

Oddly, Rick Warren believes this, too. I'd have to look up the link to this, but he believes fundamentalism in Christianity, Islam, Judaism, secularism is dangerous.
David in battlecreek...

Here is the RW quote and link:

Warren predicts that fundamentalism, of all varieties, will be "one of the big enemies of the 21st century."
"Muslim fundamentalism, Christian fundamentalism, Jewish fundamentalism, secular fundamentalism - they're all motivated by fear. Fear of each other."

I am currently reading the online book 'In the Name of Purpose' by Tamara Hartzell. I am about a third of the way through, and highly recommend it. It is shocking how RW mutilated the scriptures in order to promote his message.
I literally almost laughed out loud when I was in a Christian bookstore and saw a book that was about RW's Bible study methods. I hadn't realized he had any.

I would like to ask your advice outside of this blog space in responding to some strong anti-semitism. I left my email address and telephone number with Constance's assistant.

Mrs. Cumby,

This is off the subject, but since you are here in Michigan I thought I would ask if you had heard anything about Community Healing Rooms?

Specifically, Steven and Beverly Bubbs in Canton.

My mom has been getting involved in their meetings and I just don't have a good feeling about it. Seems kind of new-age-y/wierd to me.

This appears to be something new to this area, though it is 'International' and headed by a man named Cal Pierce from WA according to their website They are hoping to implement these 'healing rooms' all over the place.

To Anon 3:06pm...
re:healing rooms

I know you addressed this question to Constance, but since one has cropped up in my area (Boulder, CO) and since a dear friend and contender for the faith had already done some research...I will post his comments. (I believe your concern is quite valid.)

"Please use extreme caution when seeking another person/ministry for spiritual healing. A growing 'miracle' movement is called the 'healing rooms ministry', based on a revival of the teachings of John G. Lake. These 'healing rooms' appear to be Christian, but once you test their doctrines, you will see they are based on the teachings of John G. Lake, NOT the Word of God. This movement is demonstating some real healing miracles, and it seems to be growing very quickly. Folks, this is a powerful delusion."

"Healing rooms were started by Cal Pierce, after praying for many days at the GRAVE SITE of John G. Lake."

The truth about John G. Lake:

"Please test ALL things and be very careful who you ask to pray for you, and who you ask to lay hands on you."
So if fundamentalism is "bad," then what is good? Well obviously liberalism, right? Perhaps I have the wrong term, but my point is that it seems that if you follow the "popular" trends of "politically correct," "tolerance," and "fundamentalism is bad," all the way out to a natural conclusion, then you end up with beliefs in nothing in particular. Am I stating the obvious, because this "trend" is getting more and more pervasive.

On a different note, I caught what I'll call a remarkable qoute today from our "friend" Mr. Solana:
" Minutes earlier EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana, the official negotiating with Iran over the offer on behalf of the major powers, gave his most upbeat assessment of the talks yet.

"I can say honestly that we're making progress. It doesn't mean that everything has been solved. That would be an exaggeration, but we are really making progress," he told a news conference after briefing EU foreign ministers in Brussels.

"I don't think our American friends will be losing their patience," he said. "We are in the same boat. I am representing them. I am representing all the members of the Security Council. I am representing also the European Union, and I don't have a sense of losing patience.""

That's a whole lotta representing he's doing, huh?

-New in Christ
Why do I get the impression that this is almost like the pact Hitler and Stalin made? I'm speaking (writing) in regards to Solana and the Iranian president.

My church did a Rick Warren "bible" study based on the book of James. He pretty much equates being "doers of the Word and not just hearers" with service. While this is true, I think it's also true that Christians should be spreading the Gospel.
I couldn't reach the crm website thru Firefox, but I did access it by going into Google and using their cached feature to see what was written.

I don't think our American friends will be losing their patience," he said. "We are in the same boat. I am representing them. I am representing all the members of the Security Council. I am representing also the European Union, and I don't have a sense of losing patience."

Sound Familiar?

The 5 I's of Satan

P.S. Certainly sounds like a "boastful tongue," No?
"...among advisors to vice-president Dick Cheney and defence secretary Donald Rumsfeld, Solana is viewed with barely disguised contempt..."

Interesting article.

EU warming up to new Palestinian government

"...Ministers gathered in Brussels were briefed by the EU's foreign policy chief Javier Solana on the latest developments in the Palestinian territories, with Mr Solana reading out two fresh statements by Mr Abbas which most ministers had not seen yet.

"Javier Solana told us in the platform there will be recognition by the new government of the treaty signed by the Palestinian Authority in the past - it means recognise Israel as a partner," Italian minister Massimo d'Alema was quoted as saying by Reuters...".

Interesting post. Did you catch

"Finland's foreign minister Erkki Tuomioja told journalists after the meeting on Friday (15 September) that the latest attempts by Hamas - a group which is on the EU's list of terrorist organisations - and the Fatah movement of the moderate president Mahmoud Abbas to join forces showed "the most important glimpse of hope" in the region."

Join forces? Hope? I suspect not for Israel.

Folks, I did my very first Solana post today on my web blog, "Water Powered Cars & The Mind Of Dave". It is my prayer that it will be salty and lead many to drink of The Waters of Truth of Getting To Know The True Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, a well as have a growing expectancy of His SOON Return.

Anon 12:27 - Re: Healing Rooms Thank you for the info on the Healing Rooms, especially the'tiny url' (I wasn't able to connect with the original address either)!

It worked! I am reading it and passing on the info to my mom.

It is frightening - my mom has been a strong Christian for many many years and this really brings it home for me as to how even long time Christians can be deceived in these end days.

Thanks again!

Just got home from my parents home. I sent a couple of emails to you but may have wrote down the email address wrong. I'll stay off of the computer tonight and wait to hear from you.

Folks, check out what Rich in Medford writes. He is a serious researcher. I could only hope that there were others like him.

Gracewalk, you never know what is going to get the attention of others. My son was more interested in your information about waterpowered cars and your information about riding a 100 foot wave. He followed up through other websites about the cars. One of these these days he may be concerned about Solana.
So how does Bush fit in?

I am just as concerned about things happening here as I am what's happening over there. This looks worth at least a read...
...came up in my Google news bites:

Was the 2004 Election Stolen?
Republicans prevented more than 350,000 voters in Ohio from casting ballots or having their votes counted -- enough to have put John Kerry in the White House.

Page 1 2 3 4
The complete article, with Web-only citations, follows. Talk and read about it in our National Affairs blog, or see exclusive documents, sources, charts and commentary.

Like many Americans, I spent the evening of the 2004 election watching the returns on television and wondering how the exit polls, which predicted an overwhelming victory for John Kerry, had gotten it so wrong. By midnight, the official tallies showed a decisive lead for George Bush -- and the next day, lacking enough legal evidence to contest the results, Kerry conceded. Republicans derided anyone who expressed doubts about Bush's victory as nut cases in ''tinfoil hats,'' while the national media, with few exceptions, did little to question the validity of the election. The Washington Post immediately dismissed allegations of fraud as ''conspiracy theories,''(1) and The New York Times declared that ''there is no evidence of vote theft or errors on a large scale.''(2)

But despite the media blackout, indications continued to emerge that something deeply troubling had taken place in 2004. Nearly half of the 6 million American voters living abroad(3) never received their ballots -- or received them too late to vote(4) -- after the Pentagon unaccountably shut down a state-of-the-art Web site used to file overseas registrations.(5) A consulting firm called Sproul & Associates, which was hired by the Republican National Committee to register voters in six battleground states,(6) was discovered shredding Democratic registrations.(7) In New Mexico, which was decided by 5,988 votes,(8) malfunctioning machines mysteriously failed to properly register a presidential vote on more than 20,000 ballots.(9) Nationwide, according to the federal commission charged with implementing election reforms, as many as 1 million ballots were spoiled by faulty voting equipment -- roughly one for every 100 cast.(10)

Here is a quote from Madeleine Albright. The language I'm seeing that relates terrorism to religions "claiming sole ownership of truth" is disturbing.

“Consider, for example, our confrontation with international terror. The Bush administration deserves our support…They spew lies, while claiming sole ownership of the truth. They pervert the teaching of one of the world's great religions…”

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) has been described as a shadow government. Ahmadinejad is in NYC to speak at the UN.

In addition, "One Jerusalem has confirmed that the President of the Council on Foreign Relations, a Left-leaning establishment organization in New York, is inviting major civic, business, and political leaders to meet Iran's tyrannical President Ahmadinejad this week, when he is in New York."

A major protest is being organized.

What you see happening is one world government promoters putting a major squeeze on Israel and America. The message to both is back off or we will kill you. Many people think that if America backs off in its support of Israel, everything will be OK for America. Now why would they give up a tactic that works for them.

...and some think the New Age movement is of no importance these days.

There are a lot of links at One Jerusalem, including an audio one with the blogging community that provides good background information.

I was hoping to write an analysis of how New Age thinking had changed how most people view the world around them. This is a wonderful example of New Age talk -- Ahmadinejad's answers to the Time magazine interviewer.

Go to and read

Ahmadinejad to TIME: "Everybody Can Love One Another"

TIME Magazine respectfully interviews Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and the loony left will probably love the phony New-Age-inflected garbage he spews: ‘We Do Not Need Attacks’.

The comments are perceptive and funny.

I am grateful and humbled that The Lord would plant a salty seed through me. Since the report on getting cheap fuel from water came out in mid May, I have been captivated by this research and other research like it. Though the new age movement has a monopoly on the alternative fuels movement, with American's paying upwards of $3 per gallon for gas, these reports have proven themselves fruitful in directing others who would otherwise be disinterested in reading or listening to anything gospel centered... to the reality of Truth and the invite to surrender to our Lord in these last days before it is too late.
1. Over at they reported:
And Now for Some Antisemitism
Republican Senator George Allen, during a debate with Democratic challenger Jim Webb, is asked a completely outrageous question about his possible Jewish ancestry: Video: Allen Reacts to Religious Identity Probe.

2. It seems that Al-Jeezerah (major Arab press) is using National Vanguard (Nazi) material. The article they picked up was from 2004 and it was the standard Jews run the media thing.

Opinion Editorials, September 2006,

"...The Jew-controlled entertainment media have taken the lead in persuading a whole generation that homosexuality is a normal and acceptable way of life; that there is nothing at all wrong with White women dating or marrying Black men, or with White men marrying Asian women; that all races are inherently equal in ability and character—except that the character of the White race is suspect because of a history of oppressing other races; and that any effort by Whites at racial self-preservation is reprehensible.
3. It seems that a vegetative state isn't exactly that. Doctors have shown that a woman diagnosed in a vegetative state had brain activity that paralleled that of normal people when asked a question that required an interactive response.

4. So you have been paying your health insurance premiums. You have been told you were covered for the latest problem. All of a sudden you get a notice that you have to pay back what the insurance company has paid. Is it happening? Yes.

I can't attribute this directly to New Age thinking except that it is another tendency to take control of our lives out of our hands.

Constance found out about the New Age movement while looking at book titles in Christian bookstores. That was in the early '80s. Times haven't changed.

Someone has done research on what books are being sold in Christian bookstores.

Revised & Updated: September 15, 2006

To the Reader: The following is a Master List of Contemplative, Cultic, Heretical, New Age Movement, Homosexual, Lesbian, Pro-Gay and Transgendered authors and books found advertised and promoted within numerous, major online Christian bookstores worldwide. While special care has been taken to provide current and accurate information, the reader is encouraged to check and verify the names prior to their removal.

Working up an article for NEWS WITH VIEWS -- and exceptionally busy as a lawyer last few days.

I did a google search on "War on Fundamentalism" as part of my research on the Alliance of Civilizations, inspired by Rich of Medford and Herb's writings. Check out the Circletimessquare link which comes up first or very close there to under heading "War on Fundamentalism".
Breaking News!!! Olmert Sinks, Bibi Takes Lead >>>

Bibi mentioned publicly in the recent past that if he ever gets to be Prime Minister, that he'll deal with IRAN quickly.

What does it take to call early elections in Israel?
Over the past week I’ve been watching, somewhat confounded, the news regarding Pope Benedict’s speech. I’ve been left with more puzzling questions than answers such as:

Why would the Pope have given a speech to endorse the dialogue of civilizations?

Did he really endorse the dialogue of civilizations or issue a warning?

Was the warning inadvertent—did God speak through him?

Was the Pope set up and the situation manipulated to create a crisis?

I’ve read some of the Pope’s writings and find him to be an extremely intelligent man. I welcome reading others’ opinions to these questions.

Regarding this matter, something else caught my attention as I read Herb Peter’s web site. He posted a link to a news article entitled “Human Rights Council asked to address Pope’s remarks.”

I had been doing research on the Human Rights Commission the weekend before and this headline has me alarmed. What I think we are witnessing is very serious. The Human Rights Commission has been charged with implementation of Resolution 36/55, “Declaration on the Elimination of All Forms of Intolerance and of Discrimination Based on Religion or Belief”. Pope Benedict has been charged before the Human Rights Council as being intolerant of another religion (even though he spoke the truth).

Within the UN Human Rights Commission there exists a Special Rapporteur who has been charged with documenting violations to Resolution 36/55. The Special Rapporteur has in the past identified terrorism as individuals or groups who believe that they possess the absolute truth. The Pope, believing that Jesus is the path to God, would qualify under this definition as a terrorist or, at minimum, religiously intolerant.

It is of great concern to me how this further develops. If anyone runs across any material on this matter, please post.

Gracewalk, Bibi is an insider close to the CFR. Don't hope for much.

Over at littlegreenfootballs two things of interest:

These deal with how you can't trust the American Library Association to be neutral and to present all sides in the library materials.

There is also another which states that the main stream media (MSM) didn't carry any stories about the 35,000 who showed up to protest Ahmadinejad's anti-Israel stands.

In the past a Pope was erroneously condemned by the left for not speaking out against Hitler, but that didn't stop the left from ranting on and on to this day. Now when this Pope spoke out, he was condemned for speaking out against another despot.

There is a scene in an Exorcist movie where the possessed seem to have their heads spinning 'round and 'round. Gee I wonder why that came to mind now.

..."Was the Pope set up and the situation manipulated to create a crisis?"

Yes. Which then begs the question, "To what end?"

-New in Christ
And more on a trend:

"And the newspaper suggests that a "no prayer" policy at public events would be best.

"In the long run," the Post opined, "the best resolution would be not to drain prayer at public ceremonies of specific religious content but to discourage prayer at such events as inherently and unnecessarily divisive."

"...are promoting alternative language that would require chaplains to be "sensitive" to a "diversity of faiths."

"This would require chaplains to pray according to the diversity of faiths, and pressure chaplains to bow to moral relativism, rather than allow each to pray according to their own religious conscience. This places religious 'tolerance' over religious freedom," the FRC said last week."

Isn't this also forcing or enforcing apostasy?

So the people that write and speak through freedom of speech say that public use of freedom of religion is unnecessarily divisive? Interesting and ironic twist. "Political correctness" becomes acceptable censorship?

Go to google and put in the following terms: Chuck Baldwin, News With Views, The Stones are Crying Out.
PANAMA CITY, October 7, 2005 ( – Panama’s lawmakers are considering broad-sweeping changes that would criminalize any criticism of homosexuality, and make homosexuality legal in the largely Catholic nation.

Since the Catholic faith follows the Holy Bible to denounce homosexuality as an abomination in the sight of God it follows that the outcome of such law would be to criminalize an expression of God's law.

Similarly the 'Elimination of all forms of intolerance' manifesto is designed to undermine Christianity.

..."Was the Pope set up and the situation manipulated to create a crisis?"

I think if the Pope said something was as pure as white snow he would have been castigated for racial discrimination.

Plainly the ferocious attack on the Holy Father is one aspect of the assault on the whole of Christianity.

The irony is that Muslim clerics supporting such charge are merely playing into the hands of the Godless internationalists and their master- the master deceiver.
Constance recently pointed this out to me...

Considering the present situation with the Pope being examined by the United Nations Human Rights Council for religious intolerance, we may be entering a somewhat more aggressive phase in the New World Order’s implementation. Consider the following Bailey writing speaking of the atomic bomb:

"b. As a means in the hands of the United Nations to enforce the outer forms of peace, and thus give time for teaching on peace and on the growth of goodwill to take effect. The atomic bomb does not belong to the three nations who perfected it and who own the secrets at present - the United States of America, Great Britain and Canada. It belongs to the United Nations for use (or let us rather hope, simply for threatened use) when aggressive action on the part of any nation rears its ugly head. It does not essentially matter whether that aggression is the gesture of any particular nation or group of nations or whether it is generated by the political groups of any powerful religious organization, such as the Church of Rome, who are as yet unable to leave politics alone and attend to the business for which all religions are responsible - leading human beings closer to the God of Love."

Very interesting post. It looks as though this homosexual debate is worldwide. They've picked a hot button issue to expose intolerance. Even within my small community, there have been weekly editorials in the newspaper on the upcoming legislature's vote on gay marriage. Those for it accuse those against it of using the Bible to foment hatred. The hatred accusation is a tactic used to halt legitimate debate and silence opposition.

Interestingly, the Nazis persecuted homosexuals. What the homosexual community now embraces may ultimately do an about face. The Nazis viewed the homosexuals as geneticially inferior and interned them.

New in Christ,

I think this is part of the process that started with public schools and has spread to all public arenas. I don't know if it's apostasy, but certainly silences Christian voices. Last Christmas season here in Michigan the was a stir over the governor calling the capitol Christmas tree a "holiday" tree. This is ludicrous because there's really only one holiday that uses an evergreen tree as a symbol. Stores no longer have Christmas sales but holiday sales.

I have always taken the word "Apostasy" to mean turning away from your faith through action or inaction. Looking the word up while writing that last post, Wikipedia informed that apostasy means *publicly* decrying your faith and turning to a different position and has been used most *lately* with a derogatory tone to describe people who start cults. Wow.

In any case, using public policy can certainly silence or mute expression, what really caught my attention was the intention to compel chaplains to perform ceremonies including acts or words from other faiths. Now if someone were to tell me that I must say publicly at the end of my prayer "Muhammed is great" or "Bless us Ishtar" or whatever, that would be apostasy to me, revolting, scary, and unacceptable.

So yes, I have seen quite a few examples of attacks on Christianity in the name of tolerance that in the end silence Christian expression and promote others, but this new thing adds to that by forcing a chaplain to "pray according the diversity of faiths..." Political success with the endeavor will promote larger approaches as the legal precendent will be in place. Political failure with this will promote refinement and we'll see it in a different form.
As many of you can see from my posts, I find myself impatient with the general public, including some of those who read this blog. Anyone over the age of 21 is an adult and should know that they are. Adults have certain responsibilities, and one of these is to protect the community they live in. Adults do not depend on others to do their work for them.

Oh, I've heard the excuses...I'm too busy, I don't have the time, I don't understand, it's too hard, thank you Connie for keeping us up to date.

Well, here's a chance to take on the responsibilities, and it won't cost you much. You've invested in your home, car, job, IRA, and now is a time to invest in your future and the future of your community.

It's a bookfinder site.

Today I bought a copy of Newport's book..The New Age Movement and the Biblical Viewpoint.(1998) I paid $12.50 at Powells. The author, John Newport, is "Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Philosophy of Religion at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth Texas."
Used copies are very inexpensive for a 612 page academically researched book. Of course there are always the shipping costs. I didn't know this book existed until I found it on the shelf at Powells. That's one of the problems that have come about as a result of the disappearance of used book stores around the country. Internet sales can't let you know what other books are available on a given topic. Thanks to Powells, which is located near the University of Chicago, I've come across other academic books on the New Age movement.

Whether anyone reports it to you or not, the New Age movement is smothering culture on an international level. Learn what is going on and help to fight it. I may make more suggestions in the future. It takes work, but as Connie has said, God knows who is making an effort to participate in the fight.

P.S. If more people followed Rich's example, we could affect the outcome. Just being a watcher is not helpful.

I'm not just a mere watcher. I tell whoever I can here in the Cereal City. Most people look at me like I'm an alien from another planet, but I encourage those who are of the faith to keep their faith. To me there is a tremendous urgency to bring new people into the faith. My focus is scrutinizing current trends in the church, such as purpose-driven and contemplative prayer, because these are very subtle and deceptive practices that I think are meant to slightly skew people from the faith. Although there is no slightly about it. It doesn't take much for Christians to get off of the right path. We walk a straight and narrow path. These are forms of apostasy that are further evidence that we are quickly approaching the events of the end-times.
David, you post regularly here, so you know what the problems in this society are. You have been given knowledge and have accepted that there are many problems in our society.

I want to suggest something that won't cost you anything, but may make you more aware of the changes taking place.

Go to your library and see if there are Norma Klein books in the children's section. Read them. If you saw what I saw in them, challenge them. You will be given a form response put out by the American Library Association. The form is meant to put you on the defensive. Challenge one book and when you go before the library board, mention the other books. There will be no public response. Your challenge will be ignored. What it will do is show you how big the problem is.

There was an incident recently on the interstate. Motorists watched in horror as a man stabbed his wife and his two year old child. Why didn't others intervene? The commenters are brighter than most commenters on other blogs. It also helps explain why there are so few people working to fight the New Age movement.
One of the commenters posted:
"Psychologists believe they understand why such horrible incidents may occur in front of many people with no-one helping. Their explanation makes sense and explains why an unpleasant incident in front of a few people is more likely to be responded to than one in front of hundreds. The relevant term is "diffusion of responsiblility" - everyone witnessing the incident knows that it should be responded to but assumes that someone else will do it. Though humans. generally, are pleasant entities occasionally we are deeply selfish."
Here is a link to Connie's book reviews over at Amazon.

Over at you can pick up a used copy of The New Age Movement and the Biblical Worldview for $1.99.

Over at Fulfilled Prophecy on the discussion board one of the topics is the Alliance of Civilizations. In the paper
being discussed there is a paragraph that discusses something new to me.

8. Symbols can be very effective tools in advancing a cause.
The creation of a house or temple of religions or civilizations
in as many cities as possible will be a tangible and important
step in this direction."

I thought there was such a house of religions already called Unity or Unitarian-Universalist. I wonder what the new religion will be called.

I don't know what they're going to call it but my name for it is EVIL.

Rich, I do hope your analysis of the Alliance will be forthcoming. When I attempted to read that last paper, I felt swamped by the abstract language, not knowing what they really meant to do in a concrete way. Even if you could do a basic summary it would be helpful to some of us.

To the right you will find the Alliance of Civilizations Initiative.

There under the goals you will find “To counter the influence of those who feed on exclusion and claim sole ownership of the truth”

They’re not even attempting to conceal what they’re doing anymore. This is happening rapidly and with a heavy hammer.

As I look at the Alliance's activities and consider the Lucis Trust link Dorothy recently posted--the one saying the hour is now--I suspect the hour may indeed be extremely close.

Too much!!! I was reading Wired, a magazine and learned Moulitsas of Daily Kos, a leftist blog, wants to start a new project. Now some may just see him and the left as goofballs, but in the article he says he is on his way to making $600,000 this year from Daily Kos. He also runs Sportsblog.

A little box in the article says his next project is a chain of secular megachurches for liberals. After doing a search on Moulitsas and mega-churches, I see that it has been talked about at a number of websites. The megachurches will have cafes and childcare and are to compete with the megachurches that support Republicans.

I wonder if he got the idea from the Alliance people or they got it from him. It certainly seems like a perfect fit.

BREAKING NEWS!!!! Temple Treasures POTENTIALLY Found In West Bank!!!

Source (reliable!!!)...
I’d like to keep everyone posted that the situation with the Pope being cited for religious intolerance. The issue is still before the United Nations Human Rights Commission. I can’t overstress the significance of this outcome as it may have far reaching implications.

From the UN web site:

"José Luis Díaz of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, responding to a questions by a journalist who said yesterday at the Human Rights Council, Pakistan had asked the Council to make some time to discuss the statement of the Pope on Islam and the issue of religious tolerance and wondered if a time had been set, said the question of religious intolerance was on the agenda and it would be discussed during the presentation by the Special Rapporteurs on religious freedom and on racial discrimination. On the timetable at present, the discussion would take place on 29 September, but there was a possibility that it might be brought forward."
