BREXIT, EUROPEAN UNION ARMY?? JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT IT SAFE TO GO BACK TO EUROPEAN WATERS

Access this report at https://www.ceps.eu/system/files/TFonEuropeanDefence.pdf

One early November 22nd morning of the Year of Our Lord 1995, I stumbled onto news items that made me sit up and take notice.  There was a major earthquake (7.2 mw) at Eilat, Israel, also on the Egyptian and Jordanian borders.   It was the only earthquake I have ever observed to have been subject to historical revision downwards from its 7.2 mw to a 6.2 mw account.  It was later admitted to me in writing (via email) from the head of the Israel earthquake agency that the true strength had indeed been  7.2 mw.  Engineers and architects were taking for awhile a bum rap for designing buildings that would not withstand a  6.2 quake. Of course, the magnitude/shock difference between a a 6.2 quake and a 7.2 is tremendous.

As I was looking at that news on my then AOL provider on relatively slow internet connections, a new article flashed up at me.  This one reported that a political earthquake was about to happen in the wake of the just happened Israeli/Egyptian earthquake disaster.  It was in the form of the Barcelona Conference about to start.  One Javier Solana, then heading the six month presidency of the European Union would be in charge.  They would be drawing up plans for a hoped for Mediterranean Free Trade zone projected to be complete by the year 2010.  Muammar Khaddafy, then still alive and President of Libya screamed at an earlier Arab League conference that "what's the matter with you idiots!? Can't you see this is a blatant European attempt to gain hegemony over our region?"

The United States requested to be included in this conference.  They were granted by the in charge Dr. Solana "observer status only."  The conference was held and an agreement was reached by all participants, including Israel and Syria.  Javier Solana was given complete credit for the diplomatic accomplishment.

One of the stated goals of the Barcelona Conference organizers, per the AOL accounts that awoke me to the situation as "to battle religious fundamentalism -- world wide."

It was reported that the Conference had been organized by the 10 member countries of the Western European Union.

As we didn't have the vast searching capacities we now enjoy with Google, Bing, and the other search engines, I perused a CD disk of business clippings for the past then year (1994-1995) and searching Javier Solana's name, I discovered that he had been behind a near shooting war between Canada and Spain over fishing rights.  As Morocco was a necessary party to the hoped for agreement between the EU and Arab Mediterranean countries, Morocco had demanded and got cooperation from Solana, also then the Foreign Minister of Spain to ban Spanish fishermen from its waters.  That left many angry fishing vessel owners and their crews sitting unemployed in Spanish ports.   They were told to "go fish Canada."  They did fish Canadian waters, almost to the point of extinction of Cod and Halibut stocks.  When one Spanish vessel crossed into Canadian boundaries, Canada boarded it and took the crew into custody.   You can press the previous sentence to read the account I wrote for NewswithViews.com and this blogspot.

Well, a lot of water went over the dam since then.  Javier Solana kept rising in power and prominence both EU and global affairs until the defeat of several EU constitutional initiatives.  Finally in 2010 he announced he would be retiring.  Two women have since succeeded him in the position and high paying salary that had obviously been crafted for his benefit.  I have some admiration for the present holder of the High Representative for Foreign Policy for the European Union, Federica Mogherini, as she played no small role in seeking the protection and release of persecuted Christians in Africa.

At any rate, most of you are familiar with the attention both Herb Peters and myself played to the role of Javier Solana in both European Union and global governance affairs.  Probably most of you think I payed too much attention to him.

I was starting to maybe think that myself.

But I did continue to look in on Dr. Solana from time to time and saw him heading various European Union military initiatives.

Suddenly, in the news is as flood of information about an about to be held (June 23, 2016) British referendum on leaving the European Union.  USA President Barack Obama made a trip to England to urge the Britons not to do so.  This is short-handed in our press as BREXIT.  (British Exit.)

And there is still more news -- about a consolidated European Army surreptitiously in formation using the Arab refugee crisis and Ukraine as rationales.  Suddenly, it looks like developments strangely sounding like old prophetic warnings might just be happening.  Who knows?  The times are in God's hand -- but still coming at a time when global mores and morality (same sex marriage, disregard of birth gender in restroom and public showering choices) have descended to their present levels, one must go hmmmm.

Reportedly, German and Dutch militaries are now being merged.  European army units are being trained for "civil war" and the "dangerous fantasy" might well now be happening.

This will be a major topic for me on today's radio show at 10 am Eastern Time (7 am Pacific time).  Please plan on joining me.  Am I reading too much into this?  Maybe, maybe not.  Time and events will tell.

Stay tuned!

CONSTANCE

Don't worry. They get too aggressive Russia will take them down. they got really
serious stuff, been looking into the info on that, they'd whip NATO in a month
maximum. EU military wouldn't be any better. Not only that, our planes need perfect
conditions to land and take off in, their pilots and equipment handle pocked

would write upside down in space, but their astronauts just used pencils. When you
got that kind of people will extreme equipment, they can't lose.

There is another geopolitical reality that has started to change and has been changing for the past five years. The Mackinder heartland theory states that Eurasia is the center of the world, and that he who controls the land of Europe and Eurasia controls everything.

During the time of the British empire the seas mattered more. With Stalin, the Mackinder theory held as Russia's bear claws ravaged the land to crush Hitler. The sea once more returned in importance with the USA global hegemony.

Now rail lines have been built to connect Europe and Asia. The countries have made a conscious decision to remove the relevance of the overwhelming naval power of the US. It also means the country or union that builds an army can control or attempt to control the continent in the manner of Napoleon and Hitler, and perhaps, Hitler once again.

What Constance's article fails to mention is that the EU force involved is designed to keep out Muslim economic migrants, and that European national armies training for civil war are training to deal with an uprising of such people.

I will continue to send links about this topic to Constance on the sly, just to keep the resident know-it-all from them to take her crackpot hot shots at them here to derail discussion. I'm glad Constance brought this topic up because increasingly intriguing and multi-layered, and still gaining mass (all under Erikson's big nose).

There is a world of information for people to see and connect the dots. That's what MCE cannot manage to do, but doesn't stop her from running roughshod over every topic.

You might find it interesting to check out the "neo-Eurasian" views of Russian political scientist Alexander Dugin on Eurasia.

The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU or EEU) is an economic union of states located primarily in northern Eurasia. A treaty aiming for the establishment of the EEU was signed on 29 May 2014 by the leaders of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia, and came into force on 1 January 2015

Dugin sees the ultimate conflict as being between Eurasia and the Western powers which he collectively refers to as "Atlantis."

On a less facetious note, we can only hope that Comrade Christine is misinformed about the capabilities of NATO in repelling a Russian invasion of Europe. In hatred of the EU, let's not put aside the legitimate and needed use of a European Army to defend against the Truly Bad Guys (Islamic refugee invasion, which at the same time propels and is propelled by the Russian strategy to weaken Europe and NATO).

But honestly and truly, I really don't see many people joining a European Army anyway. Who wants to give their lives in defense of a Collective??? The armies who will defend Europe are the ones who already know the history of past invasions and oppressions vis a vis the Soviet Union, an entity which, more obviously every passing day to those living in Europe, appears very close to being alive again. Poles, Lithuanians, Latvians, Estonians, Ukrainians - these are some of the armies to watch, and support and defend, as they defend their countries, their families, their history and their peoples from invasion from the East.

  24. BREXIT is a threat to the Globalists that are attempting to create a One World Government/One World Economic system. Also under this system will be the establishment of the all-inclusive One World Religion, where every religion will be "respected" (except for true Biblical Christianity). The sovereign nation-state is anathema to the Globalists because it stands in opposition to One World Government. This is the REAL reason Putin is being attacked, because Russia stands independently and in opposition to the New World order. Trump also favors the independent, sovereign state, precisely why he is feared by the Globalists that seek to enslave us. Trump has actually expressed his opposition to Globalism and has gone so far as to proclaim "America First."

Along these same lines, the ADL has proclaimed that Trump's "America First" statements are "anti-semitic." The ADL has formally asked that Trump refrain from using that phrase in the future! Any thoughts on this?

  25. the thing about Russia (not "soviet" and not communist anymore, yes, Marko I know all about whatsisname's claims regarding a plan to fake a collapse, but if those were real plans and actually put to work, or attempted in the face of impending collapse that could be put to work, with Yeltsin's failure it became a Frankenstein monster, out of control of its creators, and the real thing)

is that, as RayB says, Russia is not trying to create but avoid and oppose a one world new order. Russia and China stand for a multipolar world political scene, instead of the unipolar scene of American one world new order hegemony whatnot, that the neocons and brainwashed cheerleaders (ignorant of the amount of carnage US Cold War maneuvers caused, ordered, or backed or just don't care) wanted and for a brief time had.

said American NEw World Order talks about democracy (meaning having the previously existing elections replaced by ones it approves of with candidates it approves of), tyranny (meaning the globalist economic entities aren't getting enough of what they want and in fact have too much of having driven out competitors and joined in a conspiracy against the interests of the consumer), and of course bring veiled eugenic concerns on board and is the ongoing from the getgo host of the whole occultic synarchic whatnot masonic illuminist conspiracy it having morphed out of prague and Germany and Venice into Britain and then America.

  28. Dan Bryan,

first and foremost, what the western media does is view everything through the left right paradigm, and the fascism vs. communism vs. "western American democracy" (which is really a disguised mercantilism low key fascism globalist economy with mystical pretentions of one sort or another) filter.

Putin is more of a throwback to Tsarism than to any of the foregoing. http://russia-insider.com/en/sorry-disappoint-you-putin-not-conservative/ri11775

from the cnn link ""We need to be strong, including militarily, have the will and ability to stop any encroachment on our way of life, our interests in the world, our ability to influence the processes taking place in the world," - Father Vsevolod said. "

exactly how is this different from the American view of things from our interests as distinct from Russia's interests?

we all (or mostly) here decry degenerate developments in this country, but uphold "freedom" as an absolute and supposedly as guaranteeing virtue. Ben Franklin said that only a virtuous people can rule themselves. someone else said our mode of government is fit only for those able to govern themselves to police themselves to be virtuous.

another article I think posted here a while back pointed out that the whole gay marriage thing is the final (?) outworking of exactly the extreme individualism and freedom as a de facto god, that the conservatives uphold, yet deplore this result.

now, Russia is doing something about their corruption problem (which the west mislabels as an attack on capitalism, for instance, when some oligharch is imprisoned or sent on the run out of Russia) and won't let oligharchs run the media and politics like we let our ruling caste of oligarchs do here. And it is doing something about abortion (tightening the noose on that one) and the gay rights nonsense.

a total overhaul of political classification needs doing.

Dugin's influence on Putin is exaggerated, and when Dugin got fired by the university for screaming "kill! kill! kill!" about the Ukrainians, Putin did not step in and try to help him. There is an overlap between Dugin's views of Eurasia and what Putin or anyone in that situation trying to build a coalition independent of the western banksters, petrodollar, etc. and not be taken down in our next crash is doing. but that is pragmatic not mystical.

Just a reminder that Javier Solana is a member of the Brookings Institute once headed by Strobe Talbott who was dubbed "Russia's man in Washington" on account of his having served in former President Bill Clinton's cabinet as the architect of the Clinton administration's foreign policy toward Russia and the former Soviet Union.

The following AIM article is instructive:

Former Clinton Official Named as Russian Dupe
    http://www.aim.org/aim-report/former-clinton-official-named-as-russian-dupe/
    ___________________________________________

According to Kenneth R. Timmerman, Strobe Talbot bears a heavy responsibility for the transfer of Russian missile technology from Russia to Iran.

I leave it to everyone here to read the following article by Javier Solana and draw his/her own conclusions.

    RUSSIA STAYS HOME
    http://www.brookings.edu/research/opinions/2012/05/17-russia-g8-solana
    ________________________________________

One thing I personally kept in mind while reading the article is what Russian KGB/FSB defector, Sergei Tretyakov ( a.k.a. "Comrade J") said about Russia following the fall of communism in the Soviet Union; namely that before the end of the Cold War "we were told that our main adversary" -- and that was the word that was used -- "was the United States, and then NATO and then China. After the end of the Cold War" -- when Bush was looking into Putin's eyes and seeing his soul -- "we were told that our main targets" -- the change was from "adversary" to "target" -- "were the United States, NATO and China." He put it simply by saying, "Who told you the Cold War was over?"

The following brief article about "Comrade J" is from "what Bjorn (farmer)thinks" and in the article, he has a couple of VERY interesting things to say about Javier Solana and his relation to Putin...... and Strobe Talbott.

Further back in 2000, when Talbott was named head of the Yale Center for the Study of Globalization, he was named “a key architect of U.S. foreign policy” during the Clinton years.
From 2002-2007 headed the Brookings Institution. Strobe Talbott stated in Time magazine that U.S. sovereignty would cease to exist in the 21st century and that we would all answer to a single global authority, (“The Birth of the Global Nation,” Time, July 20, 1992). Shortly after making these statements, Talbott was elevated to the White House by President Bill Clinton, where he served as Deputy Secretary of State for the next seven years. Rhodes scholars Bill Clinton, Strobe Talbott and Richard Gardner were largely responsible for Javier Solana's appointment as head of NATO in 1995.

the link is not recoverable from internet archive. However, now we know who to blame
for the situation Russia is reacting to. all the "Russian aggression" is in
response to progressive hemming in onto their doorstep.

Solana. getting the east European states into NATO in violation of the agreement
to not expand NATO eastward. (denied for years but finally admitted as existing.)
This was one of the terms on which the cold war ended. As for Putin, naturally he'd
want that gas flowing, gas dependence of EU on Russia gives Putin a bargaining chip.

  33. this was in an email to me today

"The Homosexual Lobby has a dangerous weapon in their push to seize control of Congress:

A new Super PAC, led by two homosexual U.S. Congressmen, implemented to buy members of Congress and pass their entire radical Agenda.

Rep. Jared Polis (D-CO) and Rep. Mark Takano (D-CA) launched their PAC to recruit fellow homosexual candidates into their ranks in Congress.

And what is their top legislative priority?

Passing the Gay Bill of Special Rights in 2016.

This so-called "Equality PAC" is funded by many of the same financial backers as the radical Homosexual Lobby.

But even more dangerous than this pro-homosexual PAC are the so-called "conservative" Super PACs seizing control of the Republican Party.

These Super PACs seek to buy the support of Republican legislators for the Homosexual Lobby's radical Agenda.

You see, the Homosexual Lobby has been infiltrating the Republican Party for years.

Sham groups like GOProud and Log Cabin Republicans have tried to convince Republican legislators that it is "okay" to be conservative and still kowtow to the Homosexual Agenda.

It's no secret that the Homosexual Lobby has access to much more funding than the pro-Family movement.

Not long ago, this unlimited funding persuaded four Republican State Senators from New York to betray those who elected them by voting for homosexual "marriage."

And the man who played an instrumental role in the Homosexual Lobby's victory in New York runs the most dangerous Super PAC of all.

Billionaire Paul Singer claims to be conservative, but he is fighting with his vast fortune to install anti-Family policies across this nation.

As part of the fight in New York, Singer was responsible for more than $11 million being spent to push the so-called "Marriage Equality Act" through.

He openly gave each of the four Republican traitors a quarter of a million dollars for their votes!

Mr. Singer created this Super PAC specifically to infiltrate the Republican Party with the Homosexual Agenda.

His "American Unity PAC" has only one purpose: To find conservative politicians who are weak on moral issues -- or just desperate for money -- and buy their votes.

Singer provided $1 million out of his own pocket to start this up, but that was just the beginning.

This radical homosexual Super PAC doubled their 2012 total by spending over $4.6 million in the 2014 midterm elections to help pro-homosexual Republican candidates win various races.

And his PAC already has millions to spend in 2016.

Singer has guaranteed "conservative" politicians that if they support homosexual "marriage," he will keep the money flowing.

He's even serving as Finance Chairman of Sen. Marco Rubio's presidential campaign!

Christine, at a time when the radical Homosexual Agenda is advancing faster than ever, it is absolutely critical that Republicans present a unified front in defense of Traditional Values.

And Mr. Singer's actions are fracturing Republican support for the Family.

The ruling by the Supreme Court to usher in homosexual "marriage" will bring even more pressure on the GOP to cave in to the demands of the Homosexual Lobby. "

  37. There was a White Russian component to the development of Nazism. Tsarist Russia was getting pretty decayed and irreligious and immoral in the ruling class, and others.

I don't have to agree with or consider particularly holy such individuals, however many, who side with Nazism, and are Orthodox. technically Orthodox. A notion of Russia being inherently holy, religion aside, was promulgated by a creep who kept two women (whether legally married to either I don't recall) and had other peculiarities.

tsarist Russia was a freak show. and such are bound to have their heirs and assigns down to the present time. This condition made the revolution possible and some have speculated that God allowed all this as punishment for their sins. (as Peter says, judgement begins at the house of God. I Peter 4:17.)

there are plenty of Nazi types who are technically protestant, I am sure the protestants here don't feel their category of Christianity is invalidated by that
    fact.

some of what the site talks about relates to the split between the Ukrainian Orthodox Church that considers the Moscow Patriarchate its head, and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church that rejects the MP, and the "uniates" or Byzantine Rite Roman Catholic church which is essentially Orthodox in all points but accepts the pope as supreme. This was a product of some bloody events and Orthodox have considered such to be sellouts. the Ukrainian uniates have recently persecuted Ukrainian Orthodox.

It's corrupt. Glaringly so. You can't separate them from each other.
Church isn't God. No church, anywhere, at any time. When are you going to be able to distinguish that doctrine and practice is deeply flawed???
Only GOD and His Word, that was GOD breathed in it's original, is pure and superior.

I agree in principle. no one said that church is God. (some take the metaphor of the church as body of Christ too far, in the MSOG on the one hand and some elsewhere
    in RC and EO.)

but you most definitely can separate doctrine and liturgical practices including prayers from the people involved. IF NOT THEN YOUR OWN CATEGORY IS IN THE TOILET, because a lot of "bible believers" who say the same words as you are in the same category of personal and political behavior as the particular Orthodox.

Meanwhile, ROCOR (Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, which was what most of the Nazi expatriate Russian ORthodox were in) in Germany recently glorified (gave sainthood status) to a man who was one of the founders of the White Rose anti Nazi resistance group and was killed for this.

I have loudly denounced elsewhere the cultic national mysticism of the Serbian Orthodox Church and people (who are barely Orthodox in practice as a population).

EO is closest of all the denominations to Biblically correct. the style of worship you think is pagan is what Jews used to the Temple and Synagogue liturgy brought with them into Christianity, and is not part of the covenant indicative things that are superseded in Christ Who, having fulfilled them, has caused them to pass away.

    LOL!!!

Isn't this the kind of muddled thinking that people use to justify any bad behavior? "I was just following orders... I'm a good person...."

And ROCOR - there are reams of documentation (called "books") that expose how ROCOR was and is used by the KGB/FSB as a way to spead influence abroad:

    http://www.amazon.com/KGB-FSBs-New-Trojan-Horse/dp/0615249086/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1245305904&sr=1-1&tag=viglink20738-20

Go here and search for the title for a $15 version of the book, instead of the hundreds of dollars shown on Amazon: http://www.sjkp.org/search.php

And lastly, here is a fascinating discussion that shows how the situation with Russia is not well-defined, but fluid. I tend to simplify things too much, and for that I apologize. But here are some great minds discussing the topic at length (but not to the length it deserves):

Jesus said: Be ye doers of the Word and not hearers only.
So much for your lame excuse @ 12:42 AM.
    Your answer gets the GONG.

If I or a church denomination (pick one) regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me. Ps 66:18. Lots of unheard prayers going on in this apostate hour but that doesn't stop people from throwing Jesus name around. People drawing near with their mouths and their hearts being far from Him.
    God is keeping track.

If we truly love God we will keep His commandments, something else JESUS said. His Words have weight and Authority. Better stick with that then if we say we are really believing Him.
God's thought on this and what He also said: Be sure your sin will find you out.
Packs a punch...in the micro and the macro this applies.

I think it is you that are subconsciously equating the church or a church of your preference with God. in that you are trying to find or arguing for a separation from a group as if separation from a false god.

and I repeat, the doctrines are not the people. the liturgics are not the people. the clergy who are evil (when they are) and the various people who see communism as the antichrist or his kingdom and therefore whoever (such as Hitler) who opposes them are agents of God (exactly the same attitude taken by some US elements who supported Nazi elements against communism and modified records of war criminals to get them into this country and I don't mean a few scientists, though many who did all this did not have a theological idea),

are not invalidating of the doctrines or liturgy and ancient prayers and the teaching in them.

they represent failures of the church not the overall church through the ages and insofar as they deviate from the church as mystical body of Christ they are to that degree not in it or perhaps like we should be in the world but not OF the world, these people are (as we should NOT be) in the church but not of the church.

nothing in the canons of the ecumenical councils, the creed, the prayers, the holy liturgy, the icons, whatever, support the various evils that have been operating in the church context, by people who might never pray much but have an Orthodox identity, teaches or supports these evils.

by your logic, that you can't separate doctrine and people, the presence of such in Roman Catholicism invalidates all the doctrine you DO hold in common with them such as the Trinity or baptism, or the bible itself since it was transmitted to you by the RC through the protestants and others.

obviously this would be a false concept. but it shows an underlying flaw in your logic. The very things that go against all this bad behavior, and invalid mixing of cultural and personal evil agendas and idolatries (in effect) with ORthodoxy or for that matter RC or Protestantism, would by your logic, since you say doctrine and practices (like gathering for a church service, baptism, prayer formal and prayer informal, etc. etc.) cannot be separated from the people who do them, would invalidate any and every church and even the doctrines you hold as an individual because of where you got the doctrines from. (don't bother me with you didn't get them from a church you got them from the bible, they all came, including bible, to you THROUGH organizations you denounce as corrupt.)

It is alarming what you do not understand about the word of God, yet you think yourself very able to pontificate from it, very glibly prejudicious to spout your own version of what it says.
You have no answer for the very pointed passages I brought up, addressing the very thing you are doing to equate what should not be biblically equated.
I quoted the Revelation Chapters 2 and 3 to show you how you don't see Jesus dealing with corruption in His body and you missed it as it invalidates your take.

I don't need to be in the Orthodox Church to be a partaker of all the deeds you are concerned about. you are joined by your logic to all the people who did evil in the protestant context.

I do understand the word of God, you don't.

I repeat, Jesus did not tell any to leave the church of a city but to clean up their act and praised those among each failing church that was not part of all that.

I have answered those "pointed passages" in what I said. those passages do not mandate what you say they do.

Re read REv. 2 an 3 CAREFULLY. see what Jesus does NOT say, but you do say.

There is a limited validity to what you say, LIMITED, when more than one Orthodox congregation or whole jurisdiction is available.

The focus of the church is Jesus Christ, or should be.

You haven't answered the pointed argument about your logic pushed to its logical
conclusion. that if you can't separate doctrines and liturgical practices (including the stripped down version that is Protestantism, sing a couple of hymns and have a sermon)

    then

those things are contaminated by the corrupt people who were part of their transmission to you through the centuries at various times.

You are trying to skew and skirt the issue (your method for drawing one into a fight).
But I'll answer your skewed view and be done.

When past the point of rebuke and no repentance, it is time to leave. Apostle Paul handled that particular as a matter for rebuke, then the Corinthians took the rebuke to heart and responded correctly. They, as persons and as a body, were healed of the situation. That is how we are to handle issues, biblically like Jesus said to do, to go to those in the wrong first individually then collectively if needed and make room for a response where there can be repentance. When (meaning if) no repentance then you separate--but still love and pray with a heart prepared with forgiveness--for those in bondage. You've proven you don't follow this biblical pattern of restoration in your own life with your deceased mother. Your venom about that is reknown here.
So....you know zero about this. In your personal life (as demonstrated) and concerning a collective such as a church fellowship/denomination, for handling matters of when to stay and when to go and always with humility and mercy shown to those in the wrong. Why there is no need or good use for furthering this with you as that has been done before to no avail in the bitter responses you leave here.

You still didn't address the fact that when corruption is tainting the witness of GOD then He is misrepresented, losing their voice (personal or corporate) to speak with God's authority and never to be looked upon as equal to begin with. I am not waiting for your answer. Save it. And save the blog the trouble.

You are planning another takeover of this topic too , I see.

NONE OF THE FOREGOING OR MOST OF ANYTHING ELSE YOU COMPLAIN OF MY POSTING WOULD HAVE
BEEN POSTED IF NONE OF YOU SAID ANYTHING.

as for the issues in Corinth, Paul had already taught them about this and that yet
had to repeat it IT WAS NOT JUST THAT ONE MATTER it was everything he had to write
about and remind them of. obviously.

you do not understand or properly divide (a word meaning clean cut, for accuracy
which was written about the Old Testament Scriptures since at that time no NT
Scripture was available the letters circulating somewhat and maybe one Gospel
written more likely not) the Scriptures.

you do not apply ALL of them or even try to do so, and when shown relevant Scripture
that refutes your position on something you ignore it.

and as for tainting the witness of God, you people are doing a dandy job of that
yourselves, undermining the fight against evil, one of you even posting a definition
of forgiveness that involves not telling what happened and all of the argument
is to forgive the NON REPENTANT and JESUS SAID TO REJECT AND OSTRACIZE THE NON
    REPENTANT.

now, save the blog your nonsense. If she has repented that's between her and God.
any attitude of affection or forgiveness or whatever on my part would simply
facilitate getting back into the TRANCE she was trying to keep me in.

The corporate witness of God to the world by the Orthodox is not limited to what
some fleshly society and culture and so forth oriented people did in the 1940s
    and 1950s,

ROCOR the very jurisdiction at issue has glorified an anti Nazi who was Orthodox
effectively repudiating any pro Nazism of the past

there are other jurisdictions besides ROCOR

and I doubt given your equation of capitalism and "freedom" with the Gospel
that you would have done any different than those pro Nazi expatriates who saw
them as the bulwark against communism. There were Ukrainians and Lithuanians
who were eager participants in the worst, however. their heirs and assigns are

No one said it is. No one said they are. But these are the things the Apostles
founded and the church when not under duress developed more. If the liturgical
style of worship from the Temple and synagogue were abominations, then the Apostles
who came from that scene themselves, knowing how many were of that background,
or converted first to it then to Jesus, and how many were attracted by that sort
of thing, would have said something. they didn't.

all the bible phrasing you like to sling around did not, in context, refer to
    any of it.

of course church per se does not save.

but you who want to recover or rediscover the first and second century church should
take a second look at EO.

why not do a search for the CONTENT of prayers and of the Holy Liturgy?

an evangelical group back in the late 1980s were busy doing the effort to get
back to basics and ended up Orthodox.

I know I was lot more able to get my act together after various shattering experiences
and getting side tracked into politics after I became Orthodox. I also (because of
the epiclesis in the Holy Liturgy after the words of institution) don't have to
worry about issues sedevacantists and some traditionalist RC raise nor about the
Apostolic Succession bottleneck in the Renaissance I think it was in RC in a man
whose own consecration is unknown. no record. nada. another issue exists with the
Episcopalians, aside from their running amok. The reason many have left RC and
    Episcopalianism for Orthodoxy.

A world of difference....makes all the difference.
Like this also,,,do you believe God or only believe in him? That is a difference you do not seem to be cued up on. You have some facts in your head,,,but a relationship in your heart? That, you don't exemplify well, in your over-emphasis about church...coming out like bragging-like a superiority that is not befitting Christ.
A relationship with him is a changed heart, a forgiving heart, an obedient life in submission to him, esteeming others more highly than you esteem yourself (and your religious practices). That is absent from all of your postings.

  69. the rise of European internal military makes sense to deal with the
disguised jihad of refugees. what does not make sense is the ongoing
hyper tolerance and coverup of horrific sexual and lesser crimes by
    these people. Even in England.

one way to gain power is to create a problem, then to present oneself
as the savior from it. also, one can create a problem in order to
accomplish something that wouldn't otherwise be that easy.

NATO and the EU have a disguised NAzi origin and backbone. England's
elites including the royal family (which had changed its name from
a German name to the English "Windsor") were often pro Nazi before
WW 2 and secretly during that. EU is precisely the original Nazi plan
for postwar management of Europe, which became their fallback plan to
recover power, a united Europe centered on Germany, when they lost.
The American elites were also Nazi friendly till the war, and thousands
of Nazis were put back in the judiciary and other positions in Germany
and with some rewrite of records brought to the US and Canada. (the
original records were kept however, and dug up during the scandal in
the 1980s. The entire Republical Party Ethnic HEritage Committee was
a bunch of Nazi puppet east European state expatriates.

    with that in mind.....

the right wing extreme element, with its racism and so forth in Germany
though illegal if overtly Nazi, were getting light handling in the
1980s and 1990s when they attacked dark skinned foreigners who, in those
    days, were mostly harmless.

the refugee crisis and ISIS and the jihadi stuff is the result in part
of NATO and American messing around in the Middle East and Afghanistan.
Wahabbism was Britain's work against the Turks, and the concept of
selective jihad was the work of a German orientalist in the late 1800s
early 1900s who was friends with the then shah of IRan.

    so.....

    never really stamp out Nazism.
create a problem only the street fighter types can deal with.
let the population get radicalized and join the street fighters, also
vote for the rightist elements (which are gaining ground).

(new angle, create or ramp up an existing military force that can act
to prevent secession from EU in future, and/or otherwise impose the
central will on the perimeter, and which can also help manage the
crisis, but which might work at times against the overtly neo Nazi
element or be part of it that remains to be seen.)

    foment a civil war

Nazi element is made more respectable and credible by all this
problem is solved, Nazis and their ilk back in power.

that is what I think is going on.

    Christine,

Your narrative of history is a common one, but, in my view, mistaken. It seems to be based mainly on a false narrative derived almost entirely from online sources and books that were written with specific disinformation agendas - the main one being to blame "everyone but Russia" for the world's ills.

The Nazi question is an interesting one, and there is much to study about that angle. There most certainly is a growing reaction (or over-reaction?) to the long march through the institutions of the West by Marxists and fellow travelers, who have wreaked havoc on Western Civilization via Cultural Marxism. We are now entering a period of time where a large number of people are saying "Enough is enough", and the swing is going back to the Right, or to more illiberal social arrangements. Fascism, and other Totalitarianisms, perhaps even the New Age one where the various components of the "radical middle" are forced upon us all, is a rising danger.

What you attribute to Nazism and Nazi sympathizers, in regards to provocations in Europe especially, can be also attributed to Russia, which I believe to be a more coherent and logical conclusion based on a variety of things, like Russian long-term strategy, defector literature, the obvious (if you know what to look for) use of disinformation and propaganda by Russian-paid and Russian-sponsored people, websites, comment-section trolls, etc.

Nazism might be a tool and a weapon, although not one wielded by the West, but rather, by agents from the East who have infiltrated the West with the intent on destroying it from within.

    ReplyDelete
  100. since you probably didn't read the article, here goes.

Contrary to popular belief, the conduct of nations on the international stage is almost never driven by moral considerations, but rather by a shadowy cocktail of money and geopolitics.

As such, when you see the mouthpieces of the ruling class begin to demonize a foreign country, the first question in your mind should always be “what is actually at stake here?”

For some time now Russia, China, Iran, and Syria have been in the cross hairs. Once you understand why, the events unfolding in the world right now will make much more sense.

The U.S. dollar is a unique currency. In fact its current design and its relationship to geopolitics is unlike any other in history. Though it has been the world reserve currency since 194 this is not what makes it unique. Many currencies have held the reserve status off and on over the centuries, but what makes the dollar unique is the fact that since the early 1970s it has been, with a few notable exceptions, the only currency used to buy and sell oil on the global market.

Prior to 1971 the U.S. dollar was bound to the gold standard, at least officially. According to the IMF, by 1966, foreign central banks held $14 billion U.S. dollars, however the United States had only $3.2 billion in gold allocated to cover foreign holdings.

Translation: the Federal Reserve was printing more money than it could actually back.

The result was rampant inflation and a general flight from the dollar.

In 1971 in what later came to be called the “Nixon Shock” President Nixon removed the dollar from the gold standard completely.

At this point the dollar became a pure debt based currency. With debt based currencies money is literally loaned into existence.

Approximately 70% of the money in circulation is created by ordinary banks which are allowed to loan out more than they actually have in their accounts.
The rest is created by the Federal Reserve which loans money that they don’t have, mostly to government.

Kind of like writing hot checks, except it’s legal, for banks. This practice which is referred to as fractional reserve banking is supposedly regulated by the Federal Reserve, an institution which just happens to be owned and controlled by a conglomerate of banks, and no agency or branch of government regulates the Federal Reserve.

Now to make things even more interesting these fractional reserve loans have interest attached, but the money to pay that interest doesn’t exist in the system. As a result there is always more total debt than there is money in circulation, and in order to stay afloat the economy must grow perpetually.

    This is obviously not sustainable.

    cont.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Now you might be wondering how the dollar has maintained such a dominant position on the world stage for over forty years if it’s really little more than an elaborate ponzi scheme.

Well this is where the dollar meets geopolitics.

In 1973 under the shadow of the artificial OPEC oil crisis, the Nixon administration began secret negotiations with the government of Saudi Arabia to establish what came to be referred to as the petrodollar recycling system. Under the arrangement the Saudis would only sell their oil in U.S. dollars, and would invest the majority of their excess oil profits into U.S. banks and Capital markets. The IMF would then use this money to facilitate loans to oil importers who were having difficulties covering the increase in oil prices. The payments and interest on these loans would of course be denominated in U.S. dollars.

This agreement was formalized in the “The U.S.-Saudi Arabian Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation” put together by Nixon’s Secretary of State Henry Kissinger in 1974.

Another document released by the Congressional Research Service reveals that these negotiations had an edge to them, as U.S. officials were openly discussing the feasibility of seizing oil fields in Saudi Arabia militarily.

In the United States, the oil shocks produced inflation, new concern about foreign investment from oil producing countries, and open speculation about the advisability and feasibility of militarily seizing oil fields in Saudi Arabia or other countries. In the wake of the embargo, both Saudi and U.S. officials worked to re-anchor the bilateral relationship on the basis of shared opposition to Communism, renewed military cooperation, and through economic initiatives that promoted the recycling of Saudi petrodollars to the United States via Saudi investment in infrastructure, industrial expansion, and U.S. securities.

The system was expanded to include the rest of OPEC by 1975.

Though presented as buffer to the recessionary effects of rising oil prices, this arrangement had a hidden side effect. It removed the traditional restraints on U.S. monetary policy.

The Federal Reserve was now free to increase the money supply at will. The ever increasing demand for oil would would prevent a flight from the dollar, while distributing the inflationary consequences across the entire planet.

The dollar went from being a gold back currency to a oil backed currency. It also became America’s primary export.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Did you ever wonder how the U.S. economy has been able to stay afloat while running multibillion dollar trade deficits for decades?

Did you ever wonder how it is that the U.S. holds such a disproportionate amount of the worlds wealth when 70% of the U.S. economy is consumer based?

In the modern era, fossil fuels make the world go round. They have become integrated into every aspect of civilization: agriculture, transportation, plastics, heating, defense and medicine, and demand just keeps growing and growing.

As long as the world needs oil, and as long as oil is only sold in U.S. dollars, there will be a demand for dollars, and that demand is what gives the dollar its value.

For the United States this is a great deal. Dollars go out, either as paper or digits in a computer system, and real tangible products and services come in. However for the rest of the world, it’s a very sneaky form of exploitation.

Having global trade predominately in dollars also provides the Washington with a powerful financial weapon through sanctions. This is due to the fact that most large scale dollar transactions are forced to pass through the U.S.

This petrodollar system stood unchallenged until September of 2000 when Saddam Hussein announced his decision to switch Iraq’s oil sales off of the dollar to Euros. This was a direct attack on the dollar, and easily the most important geopolitical event of the year, but only one article in the western media even mentioned it.

In the same month that Saddam announced he was moving away from the dollar, an organization called the “The Project for a New American Century”, of which Dick Cheney just happened to be a member, released a document entitled “REBUILDING AMERICA’S DEFENSES Strategy, Forces and Resources For a New Century”. This document called for massive increases in U.S. military spending and a much more aggressive foreign policy in order to expand U.S. dominance world wide. However the document lamented that achieving these goals would take many years “absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor”.

  103. Riding the emotional reaction to 9/11, the Bush administration was able to invade Afghanistan and Iraq and pass the patriot act all without any significant resistance.

There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and this wasn’t a question of bad intelligence. This was a cold calculated lie, and the decision to invade was made in full knowledge of the disaster which would follow.

They knew exactly what was going to happen but in 2003, they did it anyway. Once Iraqi oil fields were under U.S. control, oil sales were immediately switched back to the dollar. Mission accomplished.

Soon after the invasion of Iraq the Bush administration attempted to extend these wars to Iran. Supposedly the Iranian government was working to build a nuclear weapon. After the Iraq fiasco Washington’s credibility was severely damaged as a result they were unable to muster international or domestic support for an intervention. Their efforts were further sabotaged by elements within the CIA and Mossad who came forward to state that Iran had not even made the decision to develop nuclear weapons much less begin an attempt. However the demonization campaign against Iran continued even into the Obama administration.

    Why?

Well, might it have something to do with the fact that since 2004 Iran has been in the process of organizing an independent oil bourse? They were building their own oil market, and it wasn’t going to be tied to the dollar. The first shipments of oil were sold through this market in July of 2011.

Unable to get the war that they wanted, the U.S. used the U.N to impose sanctions against Iran. The goal of the sanctions was to topple the Iranian regime. While this did inflict damage on the Iranian economy, the measures failed to destabilize the country. This was due in large part to Russia’s assistance in bypassing U.S. banking restrictions.

  104. In February of 2009 Muammar Gaddafi, was named chairman of the African Union. He immediately proposed the formation of a unified state with a single currency. It was the nature of that proposed currency that got him killed.

In March of 2009 the African Union released a document entitled “Towards a Single African Currency”. Pages 106 and 107 of that document specifically discuss the benefits and technicalities of running the African Central bank under a gold standard. On page 94 it explicitly states that the key to the success of the African Monetary Union would be the “eventual linking of a single African currency to the most monetary of all commodities – gold.” (Note that the page number is different on other versions of the document that they released.)

In 2011 the CIA moved into Libya and began backing militant groups in their campaign to topple Gaddafi and the U.S. and NATO pushed through and stretched a U.N. nofly-zone resolution to tip the balance with airstrikes. The presence of Al-Qaeda extremists among these rebel fighters was swept under the rug.

Libya, like Iran and Iraq had committed the unforgivable crime of challenging the U.S. dollar.

The NATO intervention in Libya segued into a covert war on Syrian. The armories of the Libyan government were looted and the weapons were shipped via Turkey to Syrian rebels groups working to topple Assad. It was already clear at this point that many of these fighters had ties to terrorist organizations. However the U.S. national security apparatus viewed this as a necessary evil. In fact the Council on Foreign relations published an article in 2012 stating that “The influx of jihadis brings discipline, religious fervor, battle experience from Iraq, funding from Sunni sympathizers in the Gulf, and most importantly, deadly results. In short, the FSA needs al-Qaeda now.”

(Hat tip to theantimedia.org for catching this.)

Let’s be clear here, the U.S. put ISIS in power.

    ReplyDelete
  105. In 2013 these same Al-Qaeda linked Syrian rebels launched two sarin gas attacks. This was attempt to frame Assad and muster international support for military intervention. Fortunately they were exposed by U.N. and Russian investigators and the push for airstrikes completely fell apart when Russia stepped in to broker a diplomatic solution.

The campaign for regime change in Syria, as in Libya has been presented in terms of human rights. Obviously this isn’t the real motive.

In 2009, Qatar put forth a proposal to run a natural gas pipeline through Syria and Turkey to Europe. Assad however rejected this, and in 2011 he forged a pact with Iraq and Iran to run a pipeline eastward cutting Qatar and Saudi Arabia out of the loop completely. Not surprisingly Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey have been the most aggressive regional players in the push to topple the Syrian government.

But why would this pipeline dispute put Syria in Washington’s cross hairs? Three reasons:

    1. This pipeline arrangement would significantly strengthen Iran’s position, allowing them to export to European markets without having to pass through any of Washington’s allies. This obviously reduces the U.S. government’s leverage.
    2. Syria is Iran’s closest ally. It’s collapse would inherently weaken Iran.
    3. Syria and Iran have a mutual defense agreement, and a U.S. intervention in Syria could open the door to open conflict with Iran.

In February of 2014 this global chess game heated up in a new venue: Ukraine. The real target however was Russia.

You see Russia just happens to be the worlds second largest oil exporter, and not only have they been a thorn in Washington’s side diplomatically, but they also opened an energy bourse in 2008, with sales denominated in Rubles and gold. This project had been in the works since 2006. They have also been working with China to pull off of the dollar in all of their bilateral trade.

Russia has also been in the process of organizing a Eurasian Economic Union which includes plans to adopt common currency unit, and which is slated to have its own independent energy market.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Leading up to the crisis in Ukraine had been presented with a choice: either join the E.U. under an association agreement or join the Eurasian Union. The E.U. insisted that this was an either or proposition. Ukraine couldn’t join both. Russia on the other hand, asserted that joining both posed no issue. President Yanukovich decided to go with Russia.

In response the U.S. national security apparatus did what it does best: they toppled Yanukovich and installed a puppet government. To see the full evidence of Washington’s involvement in the coup watch “The ukraine crisis what you’re not being told”.

This article from the Guardian is also worth reading.

Though this all seemed to be going well at first, the U.S. quickly lost control of the situation. Crimea held a referendum and the people voted overwhelmingly to secede from Ukraine and reunify with Russia. The transition was orderly and peaceful. No one was killed, yet the West immediately framed the entire event as an act of Russian aggression, and this became the go to mantra from that point on.

Crimea is important geostrategically because of its position in the Black Sea which allows for the projection of naval power into the Mediterranean. It has also been Russian territory for most of recent history.

The U.S. has been pushing for Ukraine’s inclusion into NATO for years now. Such a move would place U.S. forces right on Russia’s border and could have potentially resulted in Russia losing their naval base in Crimea. This is why Russia immediately accepted the results of the Crimean referendum and quickly consolidated the territory.

Meanwhile in Eastern Ukraine, two regions declared independence from Kiev and held referendums of their own. The results of which overwhelmingly favored self rule.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Kiev responded to this with what they referred to as anti-terrorist operations. In practice this was a massive and indiscriminate shelling campaign which killed thousands of civilians. Apparently killing civilians didn’t qualify as aggression to the West. In fact the IMF explicitly warned the provisional government that their 17 billion dollar loan package could be in danger if they were not able to put down the uprising in eastern Ukraine.

While the war against eastern Ukraine was raging elections were held and Petro Poroshenko was elected president. It turns out that Poroshenko, was exposed by a leaked diplomatic cable released by wikileaks in 2008 as having worked as a mole for the U.S. State Department since 2006. They referred to him as “Our Ukraine insider” and much of the cable referred to information that he was providing. (A separate cable showed that the U.S. knew Poroshenko was corrupt even at that point.)

Having a puppet in place however hasn’t turned out to be enough to give Washington the upper hand in this crisis. What does Washington do when they have no other leverage? They impose sanctions, they demonize and they saber rattle (or pull a false flag).

This isn’t a very good strategy when dealing with Russia. In fact it has already backfired. The sanctions have merely pushed Russia and China into closer cooperation and accelerated Russia’s de-dollarization agenda. And in spite of the rhetoric, this has not led to Russia being isolated. The U.S. and NATO have put a wedge between themselves and Russia, but not between Russia and the rest of the world (look up BRICS if you are unclear about this).

  108. This new anti-dollar axis goes deeper than economics. These countries understand what’s at stake here. This is why in the wake of the Ukrainian crisis China has proposed a new Eurasian security pact which would include Russia and Iran.

Consider the implications here as the Obama administration begins bombing in Syria which also has a mutual defense agreement with Iran.

This is not the cold war 2.0. This is World War 3.0. The masses may not have figured it out yet, but history will remember it that way.

Alliances are already solidifying and and a hot war is underway on multiple fronts. If the provocations and proxy wars continue, it’s only a matter of time before the big players confront each other directly, and that is a recipe for disaster.

Does all of this sound insane to you? Well you’re right. The people running the world right now are insane, and the public is sleep walking into a tragedy.

    Christine,

It's not so much the facts I dispute. Facts are devoid of meaning without context.

Facts can be removed from their proper context, or inserted into an improper or false context, making them tools to advance a false narrative, which is what I believe your presentation of facts has done.

Even bad people like Stalin and Hitler get the facts right some of the time. In fact, the more often a bad person is correct, the more dangerous they are, because they can deceive more people. Same goes for false narratives. The more facts within that false narrative that are true, the easier it is to believe that false narrative. That is the nature of disinformation. As Natalie Grant-Wraga said, the best disinformation is about 90-95% true.

This is why, I believe, the historical narrative that you copied and pasted above leads to incorrect conclusions. The facts are not presented within the proper context, or have been ripped out of their proper context and inserted into a different one, reducing their value as facts to be studied or learned from. A preconceived (and wrong) idea is the starting point, and facts are made to fit and support that idea.

Example from our neck of the woods: A European entity has 10 member states, so therefore it "must be" the ten-nation confederacy spoken of in Biblical prophecy, because as we all "know", there must be a revival of the old Roman Empire from which the Antichrist will spring. It's common knowledge, right?

False narratives are hard to get rid of, once they have taken hold. They glitter with appeal, like fool's gold. And once believed, pride keeps most from admitting their error, even when it is shown to them that they did not, in fact, find a nugget of gold.

I respect you a lot. and I apologize for so many posts. But this is essential to get

however, since Dan Bryan and Rayb and an anonymous chose to make up the lie I had
posted an ad and claimed they saw it, I don't dare delete and rewrite and repost if I think of something to add or forgot something in the original post.

how about saying something to them about this? they lied. they said they SAW this and it never existed so they lied.

and I make one post and get 2 to 12 posts made at me, THEY HAVE NEVER RESPECTED YOUR REQUEST TO KEEP IT TO ONE SUCH A DAY. if a Christine bashing post is there, no one holds off on their own post they just post away. Repeatedly after you noticed the number of my posts, and rebuked me and talked of deleting you did NOT delete most of my posts, having by then read them and seen their value after all for content.

as for the long article I reposted is that worse than Susanna who posts three to as many such things that can't be fit in one block? sometimes its theology sometimes
its fine points of RC standards on infallibility or whatever, sometimes new age.

    Marko,

I'm glad that you see through the narrative of ten European nations. even if the
beast is a revived ROMAN empire, it need not have a single part of it in Europe.
it could be all Middle Eastern, all north African, or a mix. It could be a
disintegrated Turkey that becomes ten separate nations (or 20) and ten join.

It might be nothing Roman like at all.

    11:02

no I am not beating a dead horse as shown by your remark about going to Russia.
or the note about the EFFORT TO STOP the child sexual abuse going on in Russia
(which goes on in America a whole lot also, most of the kiddie porn is made HERE.)

I posted what put together what you know and admit is true, and showed how the
USA (which you don't hesitate to admit is run by globalist scum) is the one who
is the "aggressor" not Russia, and THIS NARRATIVE WE ARE SOLD BY THE MEDIA WHICH
IS OWNED BY THE GLOBALISTS IS PUSHING US ALL INTO A WAR WITH RUSSIA WHICH WILL
BE BACKED BY CHINA AND THE REST OF THE BRICS NATIONS WHICH INCLUDE BRAZIL AND
OTHERS. it won't be just us and Russia.

you blither on and on about God will judge us and you see it looming and you fall
back on the narrative of holy America vs. her enemies like the Jerusalemites who
would not listen to Jeremiah and make peace terms with Babylon before it destroyed
    them.

    how blind can you be?

ah the narrative. the entrapping narrative. such as the simplistic Russia is still
commie and out to get us. commie or not, we've been pushing them and pushing them.

and now it seems it was Solana who got NATO expanded to Russia's borders almost.
When he did this, Russia didn't have its act together. but it does now. Solana probably expected Russia to react violently enough to unite Europe, but be beatable.
    it is not beatable.

You have absolutely no idea, do you Christine? Russia is far far more sullied by child prositution than the US. Lorries entering Russia have to pay the mafia so that their vehicles are not looted and sabataged. The mafia, with their huge limosenes have their own traffic lanes (Woe betide anyone who would dare to drive in their jam free lanes). Grandmothers (babushkas) sell heroin on the streets and un train stations to survive (they don't get bailed out nicely like you do in California); Russian women are trafficked throughout the World in hugely disproportionate numbers into sexual slavery... and on and on it goes.

Putin was the head of the KGB (FSB now)... you know, the group that murdered umpteen thousands of Christians with their gulags, etc.... they suppressed and infiltrated the Russian Orthodox Church, making their agents its bishops and arch-bishops (who informed heavily on the Congregation and still do) which is now one of the most corrupt organisations on the planet!

Putin's Russia is as globalist as anyone else! Have you never heard of the Soviet Union?

    Damn Putin's Russia!

Trevor Loudon is keen to say all the time that if America ever goes down the tubes, there will be nobody left to stop Russia and China and their other despotic friends from taking over the planet, installing their iron-fisted rule over everyone. (And it's not completely ludicrous to imagine this as the most likely vector for the rise of the Antichrist.)

So it doesn't matter how bad the US is (and it gets worse by the day - my home state of Indiana just gave Trump the lift he needed to become the de facto Republican nominee); if that happened we'd go from "Bad" to "Even Worse"! the things that say "this happened today."

I remind you of what I said above about facts losing their meaning placed in the wrong context.

Further, I try not to be so dismissive of people's opinions as you are of Mr. Nyquist (and any other author or speaker who disagrees with you), especially when those people have studied the writings of, talked to at length with, visited with, and otherwise become familiar with the dissidents, political organizers, and just ordinary folks who have lived under, had their lives or the lives of friends and family threatened by, or have stared into the face of the evil which we talk about and try to expose to the light of scrutiny.

It's easy to pass judgment on the truth or fiction of some news event you read about on the internet, or in a newspaper or magazine, or heard on the radio. It's quite another to talk to someone who experienced it firsthand.

I'm in the same boat as you - we sit behind computer screens and try to make sense of the world. Others are out there living it, and staring directly into the face of evil. It is the testimony of THOSE people I trust more than the opinions of bloggers and commenters and others who think they know what it's all about, but somehow lack a certain real measure of integrity that only comes from firsthand experience.

For example, here's a news story about Vladimir Bukovsky, who has been fighting the evils of the Soviet Union and now Russia his entire life. He is quite well known, and was about to testify against the two Russian agents suspected of being involved in the poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko, when suddenly appears on his laptop child pornography. Almost all the people who know him believe he was set up by the FSB, to shut him up. He is now on a hunger strike, trying to draw attention to the corruption of what he calls "the “Kafkaesque” British judicial system."

    http://tinyurl.com/zvgokoo

Yes, Russia is still as evil as ever. It's not the Communist system of the Cold War, but something probably far worse. Please read the story above. This is the kind of man you do not simple write off and dismiss easily and say "He's wrong about Russia". Read it, Christine, then come back and tell me his story is insignificant. These are the kind of people that Jeff Nyquist has spent a lot of time with, trying to find out the truth about Russia's intentions. Who are YOU, to wave your hand at them all in dismissal???

    ReplyDelete
  152. anon 10:59

Solana is a red herring in terms of being the antichrist. however much he might
WANT to be the antichrist, which is a distinct possibility. Why? because too
much has to play out first, and the idea of a restored Roman empire consisting
of ten EUROPEAN nations is based on shaky interpretations that have proliferated.

But he is the author of an effort to create a unified European military is he not?
and such would be helped along by any aggressive reaction by Russia back when NATO
expanded and Russia wasn't a viable threat, but could have been beaten.

I am not self contradictory. the context of calling Solana a red herring was this
blog's focus, which is NEw Age movement as a precursor to the antichrist. I agree
it is certainly, at its top with Theosophy and Marilyn Ferguson, an effort in that
    direction.

Constance (no help from you people who start trouble on any excuse with any good

Marko, that's a huge load of CRAP! You live, and think 'in the flesh'! Your often posting nothing but your vain imaginations, and speculations. The Lord God Almighty has everything on this planet covered. Nothing major will happen that will not fulfill the prophecy He gave us! Live by faith, and you can leave behind all the excess blather!

The argument back and forth as to whether or not Russia, or the United States is the evil one, or most evil, is an immature, and fruitless discussion! Both nations have in them those who trust in Christ. Both nations also are very wicked. Only the Lord knows the truth of that fully, and only He will perfectly judge them, as He will all nations!

  158. 10:58,

I'm sorry you seem to be having such a bad day. Why else would you unload on me like that?

I know and believe 100% that God is in control of everything that is going on in the world. That doesn't mean I sit back and just watch it all go by, not trying to change things, not fighting against the approaching darkness, or not trying to thwart the machinations of the enemy.

Living by faith doesn't mean I sit in a corner reading my Bible and praying and not engaging the enemy on his territory - this world. Loving my enemies does not mean I let them get away with murder or other bad things, letting that enemy bring harm on the innocent.

There is nothing wrong with trying to discern the times we are in - doing so does not result in "immature and fruitless discussion". Our Lord said "Watch...", so that's what I'm doing, with the gifts that God has given me. And the watchman, if he sees danger coming and doesn't warn others, will have a lot to answer for when he stands before his Lord! (Ezekiel 33)

Maybe it is our "destiny" to be in a time of God's judgment on the nations because of their evilness. (In fact, I believe that is the case.) If so, then I will still do what I can to minimize the harm which comes from that evilness, and rescue as many into the light of Christ as I can, while the storm rages all around. And part of that rescue operation is to alert as many as I can to the possible dangers ahead, as I see them, even if some of those dangers seem unlikely or the warnings seem silly to some.

So spare me the lecture. It's not living in the flesh to use the spiritual gifts I have been given - what you call "excess blather".

This reports concludes that, "With its new status, Israel will now open a permanent office at NATO headquarters in Brussels, to be headed by the country’s ambassador to the European Union. The statuses of Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Jordan were also upgraded by NATO."

Interesting perspective, K. Definitely worth looking into.

Think about Trump's comments about NATO being irrelevant. It certainly doesn't look like we'll be big supporters of NATO if he becomes president.

What would Europe look like without NATO? Hint: The elimination of NATO was always one of the USSR's goals. Is it also a goal of Russia? I can see no reason to think it isn't.

Marko, an excellent book written by Bukovsky and Pavel Stroilov showing how the current EU was manipulated into being by the Soviets , with their fake peristroika and glasnost, really shows the danger of Russia: the book is called, EUSSR, and is available on amazon (and scribd?).

    K,

There were quite a few I found... here are a couple. Instead of "irrelevant" I guess a better word would have been "obsolete":

He also, of course, covers the idea that they should pay their fair share of the costs, and I would agree. All NATO members are supposed to pay 2% GDP into the "pot", but only 4 NATO members do that much, the rest do less:

I've not read that book yet, but want to add it to my ever-growing "to-read" list. Thanks for mentioning it.

BTW, here's an interesting article by someone other than Nyquist (to please the people who think I worship him) that is very interesting:

    http://tinyurl.com/jdbvwns

It tells how the revolutions that collapsed the Soviet Union were, indeed, planned, but that not everything went as desired. This story is verified in the testimony of quite a few. The important thing to remember about the Cold War is that we never really "won" it in any traditional sense. There was no signing of a treaty to end hostilities, no parallel to the Nuremberg Trials was seen, there was no "repentance" by the KGB and others for the horrors of their crimes. In fact, almost all of the bad people in power before the collapse were in the same positions after the collapse, in the various ex-Soviet republics! That is an amazing revelation, and has to mean something if we are to make sense of that period of history. It also, I believe, has a bearing on current events. The bad guys in power in Russia, whatever you want to call them, whatever they have become, are still bad. Perhaps even worse. And Putin is one of them.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Marko9:23 PM

Another interesting piece, from 2013, this time an interview with Bukovsky about the "EUSSR". The article ends with a statement by Bukovsky, which I agree with, and which shows how paradoxical the world can be:

Interviewer (Ferreri): On the other side is Putin. I know that you have an entirely negative opinion of him, but times change and its strong ties with the Orthodox Church have meant that a few weeks ago Russia joined the majority of other nations in opposition to the United States and the countries of Western Europe on the subject of abortion. Thus Russia is, and has been for a while, a reference point for the Orthodox churches and also for the Catholic Church.

Bukovsky: For that matter the same applies to Muslims, who on these issues make a common front at the UN with the Church, but in obedience to their own religion. This does not make them "good", because outside of this topic they are opposed to us as their enemies. It is one of the paradoxes of this world.

    Meet The World's LGBT Billionaires

... At least one member of the world’s 50 richest people can be found on every continent except Antarctica. Yet just seven, or 0.4%, of the globe’s 1,645 billionaires openly identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender.

With a combined net worth of nearly $16 billion, the select group of LGBT ten-figure fortunes includes media mogul David Geffen, PayPal cofounder Peter Thiel and Hyatt hotel beneficiary Jennifer Pritzker, one of the Pritzker family’s 11 billionaires.

In August 2013, Jennifer became the first and only transgender billionaire in the world when she announced she would be identifying herself as a woman for all business and personal undertakings. A retired army lieutenant colonel, she is CEO of private wealth management firm Tawani Enterprises in Chicago and has a personal net worth of $1.8 billion.

“This change will reflect the beliefs of her true identity that she has held privately and will now share publicly,” a statement in Crain’s Chicago Business explained.

Among the openly-gay hyper-wealthy are Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the duo behind fashion power house Dolce & Gabbana. The retail-rich pair are joined by Michael Kors, who became a billionaire this year.

Some of these businessmen and women have used their fortunes to advocate for gay rights. Jon Stryker, heir to the Stryker Corp. medical equipment family fortune, is one of the world’s most prolific donors to LGBT charities. Though Laura Rickets is not a member of the Forbes Billionaires list just yet, the lawyer daughter of Chicago Cubs billionaire Joe helped fund the Illinois Unites for Marriage coalition; her stake in the Cubs makes her the first openly-lesbian co-owner of a major-league franchise.

Of course, that’s not to say there aren’t LGBTQ billionaires whose sexuality is not public knowledge. ...
Some U.S. billionaires have expressed their allegiance for their gay daughters and sons financially: hedge fund billionaire Paul Singer has given more than $10 million to support marriage equality – his gay son, Andrew, tied the knot – while Progressive insurance’s Peter Lewis, recently deceased, donated $250,000 to the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund in 2008,...son, Jonathan, is also gay.

Several Silicon Valley elite, including Google cofounders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, supported marriage equality, while New York Mayor emeritus Michael Bloomberg has long donated to LGBT causes. Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban sits on the advisory board of Athlete Ally, a nonprofit targeting homophobia in sports.

Of course, not all high net worth parents are as supportive. Hong Kong businessman Cecil Chao reportedly offered to double the $65 million reward he proposed in 2012 for the man who successfully seduces and marries his lesbian daughter, according to CNBC. His daughter Gigi, who married her long-term girlfriend in 2012, is an LGBT rights activist and charity worker in Hong Kong.

... Gigi remains an executive director at Chao’s Cheuk Nang property development company.

Of course, some countries are more equal than others in terms of gay rights, which might explain why nations with the second- and third-highest number of billionaires – China, 152, and Russia, 111 – do not list a single LGBT billionaire....

This article was updated on 3/10/14 to clarify Peter Lewis is deceased.

    Constance,

With all due respect that is one of her tactics, so the large portion of wrong or slanted content will get a pass. We have seen it, time and time, again. You stay out of the fray--you have too many good reasons not to be tangled up in such, however let's call a spade, a spade. And the effort to have this blog in the first place should be honored, even by you in my estimation, in not allowing abuses of it, if it is to be a viable source for furthering your work. One is the true abuser of your blog, but you give her mega excuse to carry on as before. Why?

Of note, many links and comments from several others have brought out good points to be regarded, but easily and regrettably, lost in the chaos MC Erikson brings to this place. All because of the attention she demands, especially in twisting our words---a favorite of hers. Like an octopus squirts it's ink to keep the truth muddy, sludge, as Paul put it, is exactly the case. So she makes her getaway with bad information which far exceeds her good information, but worse, she retreats only to come back to prolong argument where there really does not need to be any, those instances that should be for the good of all, that we just simply agree to disagree. Discussion includes many views, but she is not given to actual edifying effort for that. That is too reasonable, so she has no grace whatsoever to give your blog (certainly none of the rest of us) there. It's totally become her way or the highway.

You rarely even acknowledge those who do keep this blog a place to come back to, while she provides ample reason to drop your blog and search out information in venues that allow the truth to shine.
    I guess I don't get your thinking, but it's your blog....whatever then..

  181. I apologize for going somewhat off subject from the “physical” battle that is being discussed here regarding the EU/NATO/Russia, etc. However, I do think the “spiritual” battle cannot be separated from the “physical” battles, so in a very real sense, they are intrinsically related.

Of course, to those that are informed on this subject, it does not come as a “surprise” that Wicca/Witchcraft is spreading across the USA’s landscape. This article(see link)is however, quite informative from the perspective of what is going on in this country in the spiritual realm.

Yet the verse does not define what is actually Scripture. Did you know that the bible was put together by the Council of Niccea 300 years after the crucifixion of Christ by the early Catholic Church. Even if Christianity is true, how do you know which books were and which books were not suppose to be codified into Scripture?
Do you think the early church at any point involved politics into that decision process?
Plus how can you use the cite the Bible to authenticate the Bible?

Vatican City (AFP) - Pope Francis said Friday he dreamed of a Europe in which "being a migrant is not a crime", as he urged EU leaders to "tear down the walls" and build a fairer society.

Invoking the memory of the EU founding fathers' pursuit of integration in the aftermath of World War II, the pontiff said they inspired because they had "dared to change radically the models" that had led to war.

"Today more than ever, their vision inspires us to build bridges and tear down walls," he told a Vatican audience including German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who has been at the centre of the EU's attempts to resolve its biggest refugee crisis since the war ended in 1945.

    This certainly applies.
Somebody needs to get a clue. I'll bet the whole blog knows who.

"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free."
    Galatians 5:1
A spiritually minded man will never come to you with the demand - "Believe this and that;" but with the demand that you square your life with the standards of Jesus. We are not asked to believe the Bible, but to believe the One Whom the Bible reveals (cf. John 5:39-40). We are called to present liberty of conscience, not liberty of view. If we are free with the liberty of Christ, others will be brought into that same liberty - the liberty of realizing the dominance of Jesus Christ.
Always keep your life measured by the standards of Jesus. Bow your neck to His yoke alone, and to no other yoke whatever; and be careful to see that you never bind a yoke on others that is not placed by Jesus Christ. It takes God a long time to get us out of the way of thinking that unless everyone sees as we do, they must be wrong. That is never God's view. There is only one liberty, the liberty of Jesus at work in our conscience enabling us to do what is right.
Don't get impatient, remember how God dealt with you - with patience and with gentleness; but never water down the truth of God. Let it have its way and never apologize for it. Jesus said, "Go and make disciples," not "make converts to your opinions."

Twist and writhe all you want in this public place trying to defend yourself.
If you are so righteous in this matter, then you don't need to answer and explain as God is already your defense within, but.....it is you who needs to force others to believe, on the outside. That is good pharisee form you display ;) ...

You defend yourself because you don't trust God in the first place.

But go an ahead and prove what we can already see -- it is really you that needs most to be convinced of your own innocence in the matter, so you "yelp" as the one the truth hit upon...condemning yourself within your own "courthouse"-your own heart.

"THE ONE WHO THREW THE ROCK DID EVIL. not the dog who barked..."

Yet the rock hit because the thrower was 100 per cent sure that the (female) dog aimed for was the rabid mutt foaming foul at the maul and trying to tear the neighbors to pieces in its lunatic info-werewolf madness!

look to yourself. I speak up and defend myself because I know I am right, and
if you had God as your defense within by your logic you would not try to defend
yourselves as you attack and refuse correction or information that isn't what you
are comfy with and won't check on it.

have never read such nonsense. Having the conviction of the witness of God inside
you is exactly the motive to fight, and has always, correctly or not, been the
driver for those who fought ignorance or evil, and said so.

Why not privately repent and give the Lord access to your mind and heart to change you from within? The broken and contrite are the ones God hears. They are the ones that He gives His mercy to.

    God hates pride.

  197. you are the ones who foam and tear this blog apart with your incessant attacks
and lies. do you cringe in pain when you read truth? "Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?" Gal4:16

you are so rabid and foaming insane you even take refuge in false witness against
me about that ad, or approve those who do.
you do not even accurately describe what I say that you attack.

every one of your posts should be deleted from over the years and a few of mine for
repetiveness made necessary by your misquotes but if your stuff was gone only one
    quote of mine needed.

NOT ONE OF YOU ATTACKED THE OVER OUT OF THE CLOSET BEYOND NEW AGE PAGANS WHEN
    THEY POSTED, ONLY I DID.

NOT ONE OF YOU ATTACKED THE ANON WHO BRAGGED OF THROWING CONSTANCE'S BOOKS IN THE
DUMPSTER AND IMPLIED SHE'D MADE THE NEW AGE UP.

Don't need to defend myself. The truth does that for anyone who lives obeying it.
And if in the wrong, and humble enough to admit that lack in righteousness, goes straight to the Savior for cleansing and to be their defense.

In full view of the world wide web, Mary C Erikson, you have totally bypassed Jesus to go straight to your own defense.
    How revealing.

That's FIVE POSTS in two hours she's had... an average of 60 posts per day, rather than the ONE POST allowed her!

She's out of control and running rampant in here...
