Old Man of the Ski's Perceptive Perceptions

To my readers:

This posting should be read in conjunction with my last two from the past two days!

As all of you reading probably know, I was up until the very wee hours researching and posting. Our reader identifying himself as "Old Man of the Ski" was just as likely to have been up shortly after for his elaborate posting to my comment section. I DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL THAT HE SAID -- notably I do believe that due to the scriptural prophecies that receiving "the mark of the beast" makes those getting it to break out in hideous sores all over their body -- they will "long for death and death will not come" that there has to be an implantation feature that proves carcinogenic. Also that it is used for tracking who can buy and who can sell, I believe that Verichip cannot be acquitted at this time. However, as regards the symbolisms to which he refers, I must, based on my present knowledge concur. He published it in my comments section, but I believe it deserves wider exposure than that, so I am taking the liberty of making it a blog story posting in and of itself.

I would also submit that the "Image of the Beast" could well be the well publicized image of the "Whole Earth" itself, something the New Agers have been chortling about since the moon landing in 1969.
Thanks to "Old Man of the Ski" for this important contribution!

Constance

From "Old Man of the Ski" January 20, 2007

I went skiing today. I did not crash and land on my head, but after reading this, you might think I had. I’ve decided to impose on you all by taking up a whole lot of space here and share the findings of my study of the occult symbolism surrounding the AOC Conference meeting place in Madrid. It seems to tie in pretty well with Constance's latest post.

Indeed, over the last few days I’ve come to the realization that I may have discovered what the mark of the Beast is and will actually look like. Now you might think that is an overly bold statement, one clearly demonstrating a lack of judgment. Oh well, now that I’ve got your attention, I trust you will read on. But first, I would like to recap my earlier posts, and thank Rudi and a couple of others out there for your thoughtful responses and for providing info that has kept my interest piqued. This particular rant got it’s start when I thought I recognized some similarities to Masonic design in the architectural floor plans of the Madrid Municipal Conference Centre, which as you all know by now, is the host site for the 2008 Alliance of Civilizations group think symposium. (Links to that and other sites were posted earlier, so I will not repeat them here.)

Intrigued, I spent some time comparing the floor plan to well known Masonic symbols, the Compass and Pillars, the Compass and Eye, The Pyramid and the Eye of Horus, etc., designs which are imbedded in every Masonic Temple around the world. Keep in mind, that to a “brother in the craft”, every Masonic temple is a representation of Solomon’s Temple, the ancient Jewish Temple where Levite priests offered sacrifices in the presence of Almighty God. Then I took a look at the conference location using Google maps. Shades of DC!

Out popped more Masonic symbolism, including the Masonic Compass and the Thaumaturgic Triangle, which to those familiar with the occult, represents an open door to the demonic world. Hmmm, so let’s add this up… We have a group of the world’s elite holding a major conference with global implications in a modern building rife with Masonic symbolism centered in a Thaumaturgic Triangle.

Coincidence? Not if the Beast is about to emerge! I then spent some time looking at a host of other buildings and monuments nearby. The Parque Juan Carlos right next door to the AOC meeting place was most intriguing since the shape itself was reminiscent of the AOC’s own circular yin/yang logo. On the ground the park is chock full of Masonic/occult artwork and imagery, including such things as the Point in the Center, Emergent Hands, the Square, and at least one Pyramid. I also found the exact same Masonic design features in other nearby buildings, the most notable being the Parque Ferial Juan Carlos I Exhibition Hall. [1]
Then my journey led me out of Spain to some rather far-flung regions around the globe. Of course I did all this traveling on the World Wide Web from the comfort of my own home. I just don’t have the financial freedom, not to mention the time, to travel all over the world like say, a Nicholas Cage, or a Javier Solana. But thanks to Google Earth and a couple of good search engines, I was able to gain a bird’s eye view of many diverse places, see some rather unique images, and read through a host of web pages dedicated to investigating the alleged “Masonic” designs of such well known locale’s as Britain’s Hyde Park as well as our own nation’s capital city. Nothing I discovered is anything new of course. There’s absolutely tons of well documented information gathered by much more dedicated researchers than I who have spent a lot more time out there looking at Freemasonry ties to the Global order. Needless to say, a study of Masonic/occult symbology in architecture and design can be overwhelming!

In short, one can find Masonic symbolism just about everywhere. At the risk of making a bad pun, it is truly an all en-compassing subject! Yeah, maybe some people are already saying, “what gibberish, what nonsense!” But then why read any further? If what I have shared so far were nothing more than a fairy tale, than nothing else I write matters. But if you have a sense that what I am sharing is truth, than read on. For if the truth be told, our beloved Lady Liberty is nothing more than an effigy of the Egyptian goddess Isis; holding aloft the Eye of Horus,"enlightening the world" to the tenants of democracy and freedom. She does not so much say to the world “give us your poor and wretched”, but rather calls out, as Alistair Crowley defined long ago while channeling a demonic entity in Egypt, we are free to “DO WHAT THOU WILT!” And here I must remind the reader that our most revered founding fathers actually HATED democracy, and warned us about the excesses of unrestrained libertarianism.

Regardless, at the celebration of the Statue of Liberty’s 50th Anniversary in 1936, President, Franklin D. Roosevelt (a Mason himself) said:“It was the hope of those who gave us this statue and the hope of the American people in receiving it, that the Goddess of Liberty and the Goddess of Peace were the same.”Not much later, FDR, the author of the Great Society, led us out of the Depression and into WW II. Attached to The Statue of Liberty’s base is a plaque commemorating the one hundred year anniversary of the placing of the cornerstone of her pedestal by William A. Brodie, Grand Master of the Masons of New York. The plaque attached to her base speaks for itself. A photo of the plaque can be viewed [by clicking] here.[2]

I do feel the need to excerpt one section of the history of “Lady Liberty” because the last sentence regarding “ignorance and tyranny” is highly relevant to AOC policy documents describing “fundamentalism and extremism”:“Although the ceremonies were accompanied by heavy rain, led by New York's Grand Master William A. Brodie, a delegation of over 100 Masons watched as he posed the pedestal cornerstone August 5th, 1884, together with a copper time capsule containing objects of Masonic significance. The Deputy Grand Master and Grand Wardens then conducted appropriate Masonic consecration ceremonies. The Grand Master made brief remarks and the Deputy Grand Master, R. W. Prank W. Lawrence, gave stirring remarks extolling the concept of liberty. When asked why the Masonic Fraternity should be called upon to lay the cornerstone of such a structure, Grand Master Brodie replied: No institution has done more to promote liberty and to free men from the trammels and chains of ignorance and tyranny than has Freemasonry.”

But this posting is getting way too long, for that I do apologize. I have nowhere else to publish my findings. Anyway, I said at the outset that all this “research” led me to conclude what the mark of the Beast will actually be. The rest, as they say, is water off a ducks back. Now research is all about traipsing through where others have gone before, uncovering what others have already discovered, following your own or somebody else’s train of thought as far as you want to go with it, climbing the mountain of valuable information previously compiled and made available by people like Constance on websites like this, including all those who contribute and provide links to vast storehouses of knowledge, which no one can completely wade through let alone comprehend. One also has to recognize when to turn around in an obvious dead end. But everything I found points to one symbol, one peculiar mark above any other. The unholy trinity is comprised of the beast, the woman who rides the beast, and the Antichrist. These are three separate demonic entities, each uniquely manifested, but of one mind. Demonic entities have been universally represented in occult writings down through the ages as emerging from the Thaumaturgic Triangle. It is this design, or one of it’s many variations, which I believe will be used to signify man’s allegiance to the manifest tripartite devil. The Thaumaturgic Triangle is the classic composite representation of “body, mind, spirit”…. the three fold clasped hands…. “666” in design and function. It is in essence the Masonic Compass complete with the all seeing Eye of Horus, the Seal of the Great Pyramid. Now, let’s get real folks, we’re not going to walk around with dollar bills stuck to our foreheads! But the mark of the Beast cannot merely be a pin number, a microchip, or a bar code with a “666” stamped on it either! It must be a symbol representing the “universal” concept of man’s completeness. It will be a very real and very open doorway to the spiritual realm. It will mark one’s eternal identification with the manifest physical entity known as Lucifer. Its purpose is not just so the Beast can identify us, but rather it will denote our identification with him! It is primarily a sign of worship. Therefore, it cannot be hidden or implanted beneath the skin. It must be prominently displayed for all to see.

I had to do a double take! At first I thought it was Constance writing. But, as the centrality of Freemasonry was emphasized in the post ... I knew it couldn't be :)

No offense Constance, but if there is a flaw in your research, it is that you've neglected the role of Freemasonry. In fact, the only time you have even mentioned it in public was to downplay their significance.

Without Freemasonry there'd be no Theosophical Society, no New Age movement, and especially no occult empire (books, videos and instruction, seminars, courses in University). Agree? Freemasonry (or more precisely - members who are initiates of it, or appendant bodies) is/are/was/were the original purveyors of mass-market occultism. Agree? They have virtually cornered the market on heresy since the late 17th century. End of story. Its influence has waned much during the latter century, but its role as originator, and/or original inspirer, is safely a part of history. Agree?

If such an important role is attached to the "New Age movement" as the orchestrator of massive societal change and eventual spiritual enslavement, then neglecting the role of Freemasonry - even as subtle as not mentioning them at all - is disconcerting, to say the least.

As a reply to your only comment on your blog regarding the subject: erase the fact that Lady Queensborough and Nesta Webster had even existed at all - it wouldn't change a thing. The gist of their research has been thoroughly vetted by a myriad of more responsible investigators. Start with the masons themselves, for instance. Seek out the highly scholarly, and academically prized, masonic journal called: Ars Quatuor Coronatorum.

Once again, no offense Constance. But I have been waiting for some time for a post on "What Constance thinks" about Freemasonry - to no avail. Other Christian writers have taken on the subject simply because the importance of it cannot be ignored - indeed, its centrality to the entire occult edifice is undeniable.

  7. Dear Terry,

Freemasonry clearly played a role in the occult, but to say that that Theosophy would not have existed without it is hardly accurate. As far as NESTA WEBSTER and LADY JANE QUEENSBOROUGH go, they were both, from both my research and biblical perspective, very evil purveyors of DISINFORMATION.

LADY JANE QUEENSBOROUGH in her "OCCULT THEOCRASY" wrote: "For we know that the God of the Jews is not worthy to be compared to Brahma of the Hindus or Ahura Mazda of the Zoroastrians. THAT DWARFS EVEN THE WORST OF FREEMASONRY. Nesta Webster, a reincarnation believing activist in the British Fascists was open about her belief in Eastern religions. A good friend whose work I deeply commend to you, a researcher by the name of RICHARD GILMAN whom I deeply respect wrote a book on NESTA WEBSTER which you should digest.

Terry, you know or should know by now that the goal of the New Agers is to pit the three target groups: Jews, Christians (Catholic and Protestant), and Moslems off against each other. They work by termites from within and wrecking balls from without and then pursuing a strategy of having the orthodox inside all three groups against each other. While the diversions of Nesta Webster, Lady Jane Queensborough and even Robert Welch (yes, his Blue Book of the John Birch Society promotes a coming new "scientific religion" that is clearly NOT Christianity)are used to distract the serious researchers, the masses are distracted from seeing the total infusion of New Age teachings permeating our schools, seminaries, and lulling the masses into MASS ACCEPTANCE of a new "Christ": One clearly not Jesus and per Lucis Trust, one not Jewish either.

I respect your work, but your weakness has been uncritical acceptance of the Lady Jane Queensborough, Eric Jon Phelps, Nesta Webster's of this world.

We all need to pray for discernment as we make our way through this ugly thicket, but I trust you can see in the materials I posted in the past few days, including the very latest on Federico Mayor, the earlier one on the Association of European Journalists on the growing encirclement of fear of EU reporters, we'd better look at what is happening now rather than heed fanciful stories by people penning for New Age presses such as those put forth by Eric Jon Phelps.

LET GOD BE TRUE AND EVERY MAN A LIAR! Further, quoting the scriptures writing of the godly King Josiah: we must walk "neither to the left hand, nor to the right, but strictly in the paths of the Lord."

With reference to Terry's post about Freemasonry, and partly in support of his position, it should be noted that the magazine the Freemasons used to put out was entitled "The New Age". There is a reproduction of its cover on pgs 255 and 261 in the book, " 666 The Final Warning" by Gary D Blevins, 1990. (Constance is mentioned on pgs 254 and 262)
On pg 262he magazine cover is dated April 1988 and shows Ronald Reagan with other Freemasons. Reagan was seen by Blevins as a prime candidate for the AntiChrist but of course he was wrong.
On pg 255 is shown a cover dated January 1989 showing a rainbow bridge to light as pictured on the book being offered by the Supreme Council (of Freemasonry),"A Bridge to Light".

The New Age Magazine was "the official organ of the Supreme Council 33°, Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Southern Jurisdiction." The magazine was inaugurated in 1904 and still continues today. In 1990, however, the title of the publication was changed to the Scottish Rite Journal—probably in an effort to distance themselves from being identified with the New Age Movement."

  11. Terry, it is probably impossible for you to know all I have covered over the past 27 years of my research life. One of the first books I covered in my early lectures was one by a Freemason by the name of W. L. Wilmshurst, if I recall correctly. It was entitled "THE MEANING OF MASONRY." He and others were using Madame Blavatsky as a source. I did then and I do now express the belief that there can be innocent freemasons, but I didn't believe there were innocent Theosophists or innocent Rosicrucians. I have lectured extensively in the past on the Mexican situation between 1926 and 1935 (up to 1938 in some states). Of course, the French Revolution and the accompanying terror (which strangely was indecently gloried in my public elementary school classes) was an anticlerical event with Freemasonry attendance. I drew the line, however, at ratifying such purveyors of disinformation as Nesta Webster, Lady Jane Queensborough, Eustace Mullins, and most currently, Eric Jon Phelps.

I wonder if you have looked into the ghastly events of Mexico between 1926 and 1938. I would be interested in your perspective on them.

    @ Constance:

"Freemasonry clearly played a role in the occult, but to say that that Theosophy would not have existed without it is hardly accurate."

    Here goes ...

    1) Dolgorukii, his library and the Strict Observance

Helena Petrovna Blavatsky's (hereafter HPB) maternal great-grandfather was Prince Pavel Dolgorukii. This person was a Rosicrucian and a high ranking member of the Strict Observance, probably the most important occult branch of Freemasonry during the 18th century. They were the first purveyors of what HPB would call the Secret Masters. The Strict Observance called them Unknown Superiors; its initiates believed that they were the direct descendants of the Templars.

Not only was HPB's great-grandfather a member of the legendary Strict Observance, but she had cut her occult teeth (so to speak) on Dolgorukii's massive library. Here, from K. Paul Johnson, the foremost scholar on Theosophy:

It is not mere coincidence that HPB was later to call her Masters "Oriental Rosicrucians." The legend of Oriental Rosicrucian wisdom conveyed from Unknown Superiors, first encountered in Prince Pavel's library, became the subtext of HPB's teachings. Much that from the twentieth-century perspective has seemed to originate with her is clearly related to ideas in the general mystical and political thoughtstream of the Russian generations previous to her own. While learning all the contents of her great-grandfather's library, HPB would inevitably contact the teachings of the Strict Observance, including the doctrine of Unknown Superiors. Russian Rosicrucianism's legend of a worldwide network of Masters and a secret link with Tibet was a profound influence of HPB's development ... Here encounters with genuine spiritual teachers of myriad traditions were interpreted according to a mythology of Unknown Superiors in Tibet derived from the library of Prince Pavel. -- The Masters Revealed: Madame Blavatsky and the Myth of the Great White Lodge, State University of New York Press, 1994, p. 22.

HPB even acknowledged her debt: "my grandfather on my mother's side, Prince Paul Vasilyevitch Dolgorouki, had a strange library containing hundreds of books on alchemy, magic, and other occult sciences. I had read them with the keenest interest before the age of 15." (Ibid., p. 19)

Lee Penn, quoting from another book of K. Paul Johnson's:

Prince Pavel Dolgorukii, "a prominent Rosicrucian Freemason in the years before Catherine II closed the lodges. In her adolescence, she admired Prince Aleksandr Golitsyn, a magician and Freemason who encouraged her growing interest in esotericism." -- Source

I've been studying the beliefs of the Strict Observance for a couple of years now. They were officially banned by Duke Ferdinand of Brunswick and Landgrave Karl of Hesse-Kassel in 1782 at the Congress of Wilhelmsbad. Its members subsequently were snatched up by the Bavarian Illuminati (Landgrave Karl and Duke Ferdinand among them). The point is - Strict Observance beliefs were incredibly important to nearly every subsequent masonic-occult organization that followed. HPB and her entourage were no different.

    2) Golitsyn

Prince Aleksandr Golitsyn, a Freemason, and magician, would often visit HPB's maternal grandparents. Golitsyn "catalyzed her occult quest"; she would have conversations with him which caused a scandal amongst her family; "Golitsyn gave HPB the name and address of Paolos Metamon, the Copt who is considered her first Master in occultism" (K. Paul Johnson, op. cit., p. 23).

    3) The plethora of Theosophical leaders during its formative years who were at the same high-ranking Freemasons.

    a) Albert Rawson, of the American branch of Theosophy; first encountered HPB in 1851; influenced her considerably. She wrote about him in Isis Unveiled. A brother of the Adwan Bedouins of Moab; and initiate of the Druze of Lebenon; 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason; a Shriner; a life member of the Society Rosicruciana Americae; a 95th degree Rite of Memphis mason ; and wrote rituals for various secret societies.

    b) Jamal ad-Din al-Afghani

See K. Paul Johnson, op. cit., pp. 47-51; and even the other book by the same author, cited by Lee Penn. Al-Afghani was a mystical Sufi, an alchemist, and a high-ranking mason who founded Lodges in Cairo and taught advanced occultism to some of his brethren in the Grand Orient lodges in Paris.

    c) Masonic leader Mazzini and the Carbonari conspirators

HPB was influenced by their occult, revolutionary antics at an opportune and formative time in her life.

    d) Charles Sotheran

Co-founder of the Theosophical Society itself; a Grand Secretary of the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite; 94th degree of Rite of Memphis; Supreme Council of the Swedenborgian Rite; and a learned member of the Society Rosae Crucis.

I won't even go further - I could - but this is getting way too long.

HPB was herself initiated by John Yarker into the Rite of Memphis; her admiration for the craft is indisputable; she learned of its higher secrets through her great-grandfather; the very word "Theosophy" is an appelation carried through from Jacob Boehme to Swedenborg, and preserved in the masonic lodges of the 18th century, where "Theosophy" was all the rage. The whole concept is masonic to the core. Without "masonry" there'd be no Isis Unveiled, or the Secret Doctrine - she simply would have had no one to crib from (some say plagiarize); and without the latter two foundational works ... there'd be no Theosophy.

Constance wrote "your weakness has been uncritical acceptance of the Lady Jane Queensborough, Eric Jon Phelps, Nesta Webster's of this world."

Perhaps at one time, I was a bit uncritical - even gullible. I've since become incredibly sceptical. I've had to discard many an author, as I went about cheching their citations (or lack thereof) firsthand. My only acid test when it comes to history is if it's verifiable; is it real in the truest sense of the word. A fact isn't a fact if it's not a fact. There's no grey area.

Phelps' stuff isn't the slightest bit scholarly. His Vatican Assassins book really does remind one of the ravings of a madman. Penning a screed purporting to expose the all-powerful Jesuits as the masterminds behind everything from scurvy, to the fake moon landing - and just because you say it's so - doesn't make it so. But you already knew this, didn't you. You warned me a while back; I think I even defended Phelps on your blog at one point.

I'll check on the Webster book; heard about it before. Her historical citations are always right on the money though. If she said so and so, said such and such, on this and that page ... she was 100% correct. Further, her translations of the correspondences of the Bavarian Illuminati are even more accurate than any other source I know of. Word for word; literal as possible. I know because I have the Original Writings in my possession, and have compared the translations of numerous authors to what I see in the originals.

On Queenborough: I wouldn't even cite her in anything. She's very sloppy, almost as unreliable as Phelps - if that's even possible.

When I said "gist of their research has been thoroughly vetted," I was referring to main premise behind both the works of those two woman: the attempt at establishing the validity of an occult conspiracy.

Constance said "Terry, it is probably impossible for you to know all I have covered over the past 27 years."

You're right. Sorry for the exaggeration. I was going by what you had written in your books and what you had posted on your blog.

Which came first, the chicken or the egg? That is the (cliché-ed ) question. Perhaps it's even meaningless; who knows. But occultism proper is old as the serpent in the Garden. That we can become like God is the biggest selling point of both Freemasonry and the New Age alike. The foundational edifice of the entire occult structure worldwide, for close to 400 years, though, has been constructed and maintained by the entity known as Freemasonry (or, rather, entities known as Masons).

Rosicrucianism is like Hermeticism, Neo-Platonism, or Gnosticism - its a flavor, not an organization (though the Rosicrucians would certainly argue otherwise!)

  15. oldmanoftheski,
Thankyou for a VERY interesting and intriguing post. Over the past few days, the amount of information which has been presented here by everyone, has been staggering. As I read Constances' Federico Mayor/Share article, the AOC Madrid conference info, all the various Masonic symbols and imagery, the uncertainty in all our minds regarding leadership for the next election, witnessing the lights of freedom going out, REAL ID news...can't forget UFO sightings in Texas... It occurred to me how primed a majority of the world's population is for a messiah type leader. All it would take, IMHO is for any ONE catasrophic event to occur at this point in time. Not to mention several...
One more thing relating to the Masonic/New Age Messiah/World Goodwill/Consciousness Evolution
connection. Last June I posted information about a Maitreya Sangha Conference being held at the University of Redlands in S. CA. The conference was being sponsored and promoted through the Grand Lodge Ancient Universal Mysteries. Lest anyone think this isn't a "real" lodge it is listed with all the rest of the "accepted"
masonic lodges. Here is a link to a list- A.U.M. is #15 in the second from left column. Take note above the list of links where it says "Masonic Restoration Foundation" for some very interesting information.

    http://www.masoniclight.
    org/links.html

This is a direct link to the A.U.M. website. This website hasn't changed since June that I can see-but the information available is astounding.

    http://www.grandlodgeaum.org/

    The June 2007 Maitreya Conference
from the A.U.M. site can be found here:
    http://www.maitreyasangha
    .org/FrameSet.htm

I know this is alot of information,
and "old news" for some, but in light of this past weeks events for me it was worth a review. Whether or not their conference produced a "christ" or not YET isn't the point. The information stating their worldview and aspirations should give us a clear warning and better enable us to "stay tuned" to the "dialoge" we're hearing coming from all sides.

I'm still up. And since I've spent so much time already when I could have been working, I'll post another thought before bed.

Freemasonry, as an organization, has no official doctrine. There's no Pope of the Scottish Rite, no Pastor or Minister instructing the flock from one single, uncorrupted "Holy Book." As a mason, each initiate is free to interpret, to their own satisfaction, what it is exactly they're involved with. The symbols are the only thing that's similar in all lodges throughout the world and in a sense, it is the only thing that doesn't lie. Symbols are timeless, ubiquitous; they evoke emotion and mystery - real magic.

In that sense, the "Old Man of the Ski" is on the right track. If this place is as laden with occult imagery as he says - and if this group is as important as Constance has said - the coming together of the two is most likely not a coincidence. Whatever is being discussed is probably thought able to be influenced, one way or another, by what type of symbolism is present at the gathering.

There's a reason why occultists and Freemasons conduct rituals and ceremonies amidst certain symbolic and architectural configurations.

We all see through a glass darkly and don’t get a good view without sharing our perspectives. The beast is well aware of our limitations.

But God is great isn’t He!

At the time Constance wrote “Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow”, I was living with a “shaman” who was busy promoting said “rainbow”. His main focus was “networking” between diverse groups around the world who were not yet aware they were traveling the same intricately designed path. I was told that some “nodes” were well known to each other, while most had no idea that the others existed, let alone that each was controlled by one unifying principle. I was told the “work” involved making each node aware of their interconnectedness, and when enough people realized that they were of one mind, there would be a cosmic shift in global consciousness which would usher in the “new age”. But only after a period of intense turmoil, so-called “birth pangs”, which involved the elimination of all those who were not willing or were incapable of making the transformation. Sound familiar?

I cut and pasted the following from a website describing the intricate weaving pattern of spiders:

“The hub is surrounded by a 'free zone', in which the spider can move around unhampered by intricate spiralling threads. From the hub come 25 to 30 dry radial threads, which connect to strong frame threads around the outer perimeter of the web. Spiralling threads go from outside of the free zone to the edge of the web, and sticky threads, running from the outside to the free zone, are spun last and coated with sticky droplets. The spider waits in the center of the web until a careless insect becomes caught in the sticky threads, and then she runs to wrap it up and paralyze it, storing it for future use. Spiders can make different types of silk with glands and spinnerets at the end of the abdomen. Some silk, such as that for catching prey, is sticky, but other silk is not, such as that used for making an egg case. Spider silk is very strong, and in fact, the strongest natural fiber known is the silk of spiders in the genus Nephila.”

The Hebrew word nephilim is translated in two ways, first as “those who have fallen”, and secondly, as “those causing others to fall”.

Following Sept. 11th, President Bush appointed Adm. John Poindexter to head up DARPA’s Total Information Awarness Program (TIA). The Office of Information Awareness incorporated as its official emblem the Masonic Pyramid and all Seeing Eye (US Great Seal) overseeing and scanning the entire globe. TIA’s official motto was “Knowledge is Power”.

The TIA’s website disappeared from view after a landslide of citizen complaints concerning privacy issues led to Legislative action in 2003, which resulted in official “defunding” of the program. However, the technologies continued to be developed as the program was moved to “covert operations” under classified annexes to Defense and Intelligence appropriation bills. The “All Seeing Eye” program is operative today.

DARPA’s Office of Information (TIA) Masonic symbol is archived and can still be viewed in several places:

Set your calendars now! The 2008 World Conference of Masonic Grand Lodges takes place May 7-9, in Washington, D.C.

    http://www.glworldconference.org/en/welcome.php

From the official webpage describing the event as a “Universal Brotherhood Celebration”:

“Today, we live in a world that is truly global and finds itself at a major crossroads with change happening at lightening speed, insecurity rising across the globe and fanaticism on a deadly rampage. The world today needs Freemasonry more than ever. Given the universality of its character, its existence in so many places around the world, and the values and principles it espouses, the Society of the Freemasons is uniquely positioned to contribute to the global flow of enlightened ideas and help people of good will work together for the betterment of humanity. Can we rise to the challenge, answer the call, and fulfill our destiny as a beacon of universal light?”

Sounds like a page right out of the AOC to me, (or maybe vice versa!)

  20. Thanks for another interesting post. What I found the most interesting were the comments with-in the “Welcome” from the Executive Secretary Thomas Jackson. He refers to the “philosophical purpose” of the organization and the “philosophical beliefs of our craft” being in the forefront, “leading the way for the development of worldwide civilization for centuries” From your link above:

“Because of the exposure of Freemasonry in the present day worldwide media as well as an increase in historical publications there has been a renewed interest in the philosophical purpose of our organization. Young men are approaching our doors with inquisitiveness into the esoteric aspects as to what we are. However, ignorance of purpose by our own membership has tended to dull the impact that Freemasonry has had on the evolution of our civil societies and it’s potential for the future.”

He goes on to make reference to “Regular Freemasonry”. Several things came to my mind in light of what I have found “browsing” the library and viewing the “symbolic art ”at the Manly P. Hall founded Philosophical Research Society homepage. The masonry everyone accepts, ("Regular Freemasonry”) “the Shriners” (Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine) who march in parades and raise money for hospitals, present an innocent “face”. No doubt, most who join Masonic organizations do so innocently and desire only to belong and be a part of a charitable community service organization. The quote above states a renewal of interest in the esoteric aspects of “the craft” by young men. This probably explains the formation of the Masonic Restoration Foundation I alluded to in my previous comment. The Masonic Restoration Foundation Homepage appears benign. Clicking on their “links” tells a different story.

I agree with Terry when he said:
“The symbols are the only thing that's similar in all lodges throughout the world and in a sense, it is the only thing that doesn't lie. Symbols are timeless, ubiquitous; they evoke emotion and mystery - real magic.”
A picture IS worth a thousand words in some cases. Rudi

Yes, and I'm sure you read from the same page how Jackson promises to let the cat at least part way out of the bag regarding some of the secrets....

"As you know, Washington, DC is the capital of the United States of America and carries with it much of the symbolism of the free world. It also, however, carries much Masonic symbolism as well and I hope that you will take the opportunity, to be with us and to learn more of the significance that Freemasonry has made in the erection of this great city and the development of our democratic society."

Should be interesting to see what they actually expose and take credit for. Looks to me like they are moving part way out of the shadows.

    Speaking of shadows...

The World Economic Forum starts later this week in Davos. Only a hop, skip, and a jump from Madrid eh?. Condi Rice set to open I see. Hundreds of links on the WEF website provides access to thousands of pages documenting their past seminars and agendas...but the link to the area "religion" under subject "Humanities" has been completely disabled.

  22. Terry, fascinating information which I shall follow up on. HPB must have had family members who disapproved of Grandpa's library for she wrote that her family would have preferred that she go into prostitution rather than occultism. I wonder, too, if you have looked into the influence of Western mysticism HPB, particularly Jacob Boehme who influenced disturbingly many Evangelicals, some of whom have falsely purported to be on our side and then worked to subtly undermine us. It was Boehme's inspiration that led to HPB naming her planned organization "The Theosophical Society." It was reportedly one of the Wesley's who sternly wrote William Law (Jacob Boehme's translator) saying, "you call it 'theosophy.' It is more accurately called 'demonosophy.'"

  23. Its been a long time since I've read of the Albigensians and the Cathars, but they also reportedly had similar traditions as the Tibetans.

  24. Most fascinating, I am looking through books in my personal library and just picked one up by Isabel de Madariaga, the maternal aunt of JS. She is Salvador de Madariaga's younger daughter and is a "professor emeritus" at a London college. She has an extensive discussion of many of the "Strict Observance" in the chapter of "Catherine the Great: A short history (Yale Press, 1990)entitled "Catherine and the French Revolution." Amusingly, Isabel tells in the intro to one of her books on Catherine the Great (she specialized in Slavonic studies) that her father, greatly" beloved by her, would come in and say to her, "Well, how is Catherine doing today."
    z
Salvador de Madariaga died before her book was completed. I don't know much about her personal ideology (occultists' kids sometimes rebel too), but she makes interesting reading, as did her father, Javier Solana's grandfather or as his embarrassed historical revisionists (Squeakbox and company) like to claim, "His Great Uncle).

    Go figure!

I've encountered Boehme being mentioned as an influence in nearly every book on the occult that I've been studying of late. The importance attached to him - especially by scholars - is really staggering. Academic research into the occult and mysticism, generally classify things in a "before Boehme" or an "after Boehme" manner.

One really incredible book that I highly recommend is Magee's Hegel and the Hermetic Tradition. More than just a search for Hegel's occult roots, it traces the influence of Boehmian mysticism on the whole of Western culture, philosophy and religion.

Yes, a history of Catherine II is quite incomplete without mention of her very public struggle against the Cagliostros, the dupes of Strict Observance, the Rosicrucians, the Mesmers, the Saint Germains, and the Boehmian-inspired Russian Martinists of her day.

    Paul 9:27,

I was going to go to bed early tonight, but I decided to go through and reread all the posts last couple days. (WHEW! My brain hurts!) But your question needed an answer. Yes, there are obvious Masonic symbols at the UN.

A very interesting 2006 article from Canada Free Press is appropriately titled, “It's Halloween Every Day for Global Guardians” by Judi McLeod. The article shows a picture of the interior of the Temple of Understanding inside the UN building itself.

    http://www.canadafreepress.com/2006/cover110206.htm

The familiar Masonic Compass and Square is quite prominent on what appears to be some kind of alter located in the middle of the room. There’s so much occult clutter in there, hard to say what else. Looks like a little bit of everything. McLeod's info on the 600's seating chart is quite interesting also.

But one thing leads to another, and this particular article led me to take a closer look at the “massive Crystal Palace tower (unofficially called the Tower Building) which houses the Fifth Parliament of Europe in Strassburg, France. It is patterned after the same Tower of Babel symbol so prominently featured as the EU coalesced.

By entering “EU Parliament Strassburg, France” as a search term in Google Maps brings up the Secretariat General’s official residence (labeled “A”) on Avenue de l’Europe, NOT the parliament building, which is a massive structure and can be seen just north on Rue de Levant. The satellite view of both locations show very obvious Masonic imagery. But certainly the most impressive thing I have yet seen is the ALL SEEING EYE design of the Parliament building itself!

But then, why should anyone be surprised to learn that the European Parliament convenes in the EYE of HORUS?

Thanks for keeping me up past my bedtime! Now I just hope I can sleep.

Clarification: McLoed's seating chart is for the EU Parliament Building in Strassburg, not the UN. As of the article's publication date, seat #666 was as yet unassigned. I wonder if anybody is occupying it now?

Also, my second time around with GOOGLE maps did bring up the Parliament building as site "A". Don't know what happened the first go round, but the "mistake" did make me become aware of the Masonic symbols at the Secretariat General's residence, which I may have overlooked had I gone straight to the Parliament building.

    Brain drain. Good night.

    Old Man,
Thanks for the answer to my
    question.
    Pretty scary stuff, really.
If your brain is drained I'd
    suggest you get back up
on the slopes and get some
more of that cold clean air
    that only a well groomed
    ski slope can offer, along
    with the veritable euphoria
    that skiing provides.
    You deserve it.

    Yours,

    @oldmanoftheski

Regarding McLeod and her picture of the inside of the Temple of Understanding - it just ain't so. That picture is in fact the Blue Lodge Room of the Grand Lodge of Japan in Tokyo: >-Click Here-< and >-Here-<

Also an excerpt from Orinda Lodge no. 122 F&AM [Click it]: "Blue Lodge room, Grand Lodge of Japan - Before it was a Masonic space, this building used to belong to the Japanese high command and this is the room in which the decision was made to bomb Pearl Harbor. After the war, Masonry returned to Japan, and the Masons purchased the building and turned it into the Japanese headquarters for Freemasonry."

As a final confirmation, see 'Grand Lodge of Japan' Images Search on Masonryandstone.com [Click it]

McLeod fell victim to an error floating around the internet, in evangelical circles, regarding where and what the picture was. I already knew the answer way before she published her article. I had to track down the picture myself. The only thing I had to go on - besides that it was obviously a masonic lodge - was that it was called the "blue room."

Thanks Terry. Correction noted. Seeing is believing, except sometimes. I don't have time to do more searching on the Temple of Understanding this morning, but a quick search does verify it exists at the UN, and is full of occult symbolism. Will look more closely later and would be interested in what others find.

Have to go to work now. No skiing today, darn.

Thank-you again, we can always count on others here to verify and check facts. I don't like being duped or passing on bad info, is very good reminder to stay vigilant.

Constance, have you talked with Judy McLeod, she seems on top of some things?

    Hey Paul, Terry,

Sorry again! I’m getting my satanic sanctuaries mixed up!

The Temple of Understanding is a few blocks away from the UN Plaza.

    Temple of Understanding
    211 E 43rd St # 1600, New York, NY
    (212) 573-9224

    The Temple website is:
    http://www.templeofunderstanding.org/

The UN Meditation room can be viewed here:

    http://www.aquaac.org/un/medroom.html

And a pretty good description of the interior can be read here:

    http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a3887b2eb1786.htm

I’ve included an excerpt from the archives of the free republic website. I’m sure this is old stuff for you long timers here, but I found it to be a good reminder of what we are dealing with. Although the names of the players may have changed, the game remains the same.

    The United Nations Meditation Room:

"...what appears to be a serpent intertwining a pole intersected by the perpendicular side of a triangle (cf. the central cross intertwined with a serpent) in front of a half-darkened sun representing the Zoroastrian concept of the conflict between good and evil (cf. a brilliant light), and a large, seemingly casket-shaped, black natural magnet (cf. a skull and crossbones, a casket, and a dagger), perhaps intended to act as an hallucinogenic catalyst like a drug -- comprises the occult Meditation Room at the United Nations, where 'followers of all religions, who visit by the hundreds of thousands each year, may [currently] awaken the 'god within.'" (The AntiChrist and a Cup of Tea, Tim Cohen, pg 159)

“The room is designed like a pyramid lying on its side with a mural in place of the capstone (i.e., the top of the pyramid would appear to be cut-off, with this image appearing in the place of it.) It's a small room with no windows. In the center of the room is a 4' high stone [altar?] made of dark grey crystalline ore. The stone is extremely magnetic and possesses polarity. The room is dimly lit, however a small beam of light from a lens in the ceiling focuses on the altar. Dag Hammarskjold, former UN Secretary General, described this center stone as "the symbol of the god of all." (Cohen, pg 160).”

“The Meditation Room at the United Nations Building in New York, designed by Dag Hammarskjold, contains backless benches - as he wrote: 'for the men who come here will have enough force to support their own backs.' In a dark room of sharp angles, a six and a half ton (the entire building had to be reinforced) black iron ore altar evokes Abraham and Isaac and all sacrifice - mythic and historic - swords and ploughshares."

According to Cohen and J.R. Church, there are only ten chairs or benches facing the altar. (Cohen, pg 160) [For the 10 Kings?]
Donald Keys, New Age leader, President of Planetary Citizens, author "Earth At Omega": "We have meditations at the United Nations a couple of times a week. The meditation leader is Sri Chinmoy, and this is what he said...'The United Nations is the chosen instrument of God...a divine messenger carrying the banner of God's inner vision and outer manifestation. One day the world will treasure...the soul of the United Nations as its very own with enormous pride, for this soul is all-loving, all-nourishing, and all-fulfilling.'"

    Yeah right!
