The picture originally appeared with a page and a half article on May 5, 1982, only 10 days after "The Christ is Now Here" ad of Benjamin Creme and the rest of his New Age Movement company appeared. Creme did not come up with his London story until five days after he had his first unexpected debate with me on WRIF radio. I think the London story was hastily improvised after unexpected opposition to their "Movement" and "Messiah" materialized to their collective dismay!
I started observing and reporting locally on the New Age Movement in early spring of 1981. During that same year, I discovered in my fast growing library of evidence, Benjamin Creme's book THE REAPPEARANCE OF THE CHRIST. His appendix had a notable section on "How the Plan is Working Out." "The Plan" was working out in the form of the developments I had been monitoring for the past several months of that year. I carefully read and hand annotated that book. When I lost it after coming from court in St. Clair Shores in early fall of 1981, I closed my office early on Friday night to make a trip to the same vendor, Mayflower Books, owned by Detroit area New Age / Theosophical Society activist Robert Thibodeau. I went in and asked manager John Barnwell for that book. By then they were well acquainted with my work and opinion of their "metaphysical movement." He said, "no, Constance, sorry, we're all sold out." He then smiled and handed me a flyer while saying, "You can come hear him in person, Unity is bringing him to town." I then proceeded to the other local New Age bookstore located in Sterling Heights, Michigan, MIDDLE EARTH BOOKS. There I purchased it together with THE OCCULT AND THE THIRD REICH by Jean-Michel Angebert. The rest is probably by now classified as history.
The infamous worldwide ads proclaiming THE CHRIST IS NOW HERE ran April 25, 1982. Ten days later, "the movement" was equally surprised by a page and a half picture story the DETROIT FREE PRESS ran on my work. The author was Detroit reporter Ruth Seymour who had formerly reported favorably on the New Age Movement but experienced to the unhappiness of the local New Age community her own reverse "Paradigm Shift."
I just found the original glossy of the Free Press photo which a subsequent Detroit Free Press editor conversant with my work chose to bequeath to me. I have scanned it and post it here for any historical interest it may satisfy and/or generate. Various New Age artifacts are in the picture. I am happy to report that I still have the "kitty" sweater I am shown wearing there and moreover it still fits!
Some of my Detroit - Pontiac, Michigan area friends have not been sitting silent on the Obama administration demand that there be no "conscience exemption" from providing contraception services to employees. Catholics and many Evangelicals have strong religious convictions against providing such. The Pontiac, Michigan area priest is St. Damien of Molokai Pastor James Kean. Many Detroit area Christians gathered at the McNamara Federal Building a week ago last Friday to sound their protest and I found this up on Youtube. I thought some of you would enjoy this, including but not limited to "Catherine" and "Suzanne" both Catholic participants on this forum.

Even Christian institutions appear not to be immune from the deadly impulses of our time. The tragic news today is that some of the worst campus violence ever erupted at Oikos University, Oakland, California. The suspect in the shooting of seven and killing of three is an allegedly disgruntled former nursing student at the school.
It is clear to this blogger that the school had a decidedly New Age cast to its allegedly orthodox theology:
The school's focus on Oriental medicine, including classes on acupuncture and herbal medicine, speaks to the Koreans' holistic outlook on life, blending Eastern approaches to health and medicine with Western religion, even mixing Christianity with Korea's shamanistic traditions, Park says.
It is equally clear to this observer that Matthew Fox and those of the ever growing Occupy Movement of that same region -- Oakland, California will be chortling over this as one more reason to shut down "fundamentalist" Christianity.
We were told that in the last days "perilous times would come" (2 Timothy 3:1). It would appear that they are most clearly here.
May the Lord help us all especially as the restraints on the spirit of evil appear to be lessening daily.

Yes, an ugly history is repeating itself -- this time with Twitter, the internet, flash mobs, cell phones, fax machines, and all the other rapid instruments of modern communication. The old themes, however, remain just about the same!
I thought my readers would find this excerpt fom my library of New Age Movement materials fascinating. It is page 63 of the January 1928 ORDER OF THE STAR journal "THE STAR." The Order of the Star was a Theosophical Society operation dedicated to the "Reappearance of the Christ" in the form of one Jiddhu Krishnamurti. They were busily preparing the world to receive both Krishnamurti and a "New World religion." As you can see the themes of "Tolerance" and hatred of fundamentalism were at play then as well as now. It is amusing that they were exhorted to blend religions and cease discussing reasons for the reason that "war clouds were hanging over Europe."
The "Order of the Star in the East" was organized in 1912. It was put together by Theosophists acting under Annie Besant and C. W. Leadbetter who identified Jiddhu Krishnamurti as the "new Christ." He was a child seen bathing by the River Adyar in Madras, India by the former Anglical priest C. W. Leadbetter. Leadbetter claimed he had seen the "christ aura" around Krishnamurti. The Theosophical Society took guardianship of the child. The child's father, an Indian magistrate whose wife recently died came to repent of his decision and tried through the Indian courts to regain custody. When he prevailed in the highest Indian courts, Annie Besant fled to England with his two sons, Krishnamurti and Nityananda. The English courts reversed the Indian courts on a technicality: no guardian ad litem had been appointed to advise the Indian courts on the "best welfare of the children." Krishnamurti's father was justifiably anxious. Leadbetter was a reputed pedophile.
As Krishnamurti aged, the expectations were that a "day of declaration would come" in which he would assume leadership over a "New World Order." Internationally, frantic preparations were made by true Theosophical believers and fellow occult travelers to hasten that day. The material you see above is from one of the elaborate magazines edited by his followers. Krishnamurti himself was a frequent writer for the magazine.
Krishnamurti died in Ojai, California in 1986. For the record, Jesus lives!
Now that I have the capacity to scan single pages onto my system, I plan to show you others from time to time. The themes are virtually identical to what we are hearing today. The goals are certainly the same although the "candidates" are different.
What the CFR is up to these days -- Global Governance wise!
The Council on Foreign Relations is taking accelerated action, it appears from the story shown above, which may be read in full by clicking here. It will be secretive, "not-for-attribution dialogue and consensus building." The announcement was "tweeted" by close Javier Solana associate, Lluis Bassets. Bassets is the co-author of Javier Solana's only book, REINVINDICION DE LA POLITICA. The book is so far only available in a Spanish edition. It is part of my library.
Funding is being supplied by the Minneapolis based Robina Foundation.
Basset said in his tweet that "nobody from Spain" was on the list. HOWEVER, I hopped over to the Brookings Institution website only to learn that organization was quite happily aware of the CFR happening. My personal inclination is to believe that Javier Solana, Strobe Talbott are fully aware and in on the planning for this event; however, I'll keep an open mind as to what may develop.
The Robina Foundation was organized by James H. Binger (1916-2004), a lawyer and CEO of Honeywell. The foundation donated $10.3 million dollars to the CFR this past January to advance the cause of global governance.
Since Herb Peter's death in 2007, I have been broadcasting twice weekly with Joe McNeil and his THEMICROEFFECT.COM network. There are obviously other network personalities with which I have had issues and extreme disagreements. Some of the other broadcasters are clearly New Agers. All the more reason my voice and perspective are needed for this batch of listeners!
Nevertheless, Joe McNeil believes in freedom of speech and has given me a voice and outlet, even finding me a sponsor (THE FREEZE DRY GUY) which I needed as I lack financial resources to afford this on my own and have been reluctant to beg as it would diminish my message.

Query: Is this possibly a component of last year's "Mediterranean Spring," which clearly is part and parcel of the Worldwide "Occupy Movement."
I'd like to know what those of you who pondered Herb Peter's and my earlier research and studied on your own think.
I just watched this video. I am interested in the opinion of my readers on its content. Personally, I think he makes a great deal of sense. I fully agree with him on the tuition issue. What we have done to the younger generation in terms of higher educational costs is nothing short of unconscionable. This is turn is fodder for the obviously New Age "Occupy" revolution.

On January 31st, Occupy Miami's tent city was evicted by police action. According to Miami news sources, this was after four months of protests there. The occupiers had staked out and used Government Center. A sympathizer gave them a half-empty apartment building in nearby Overtown, Florida. What transpired next became sheer hell for the paying residents of the same building.
To those of us old enough to remember the "hippie movements" of the late 1960s and 1970s, this had a sense of what the New Agers would probably term "deja vu." We've seen this before. Residents complained that drugs were obviously in use. Doors were ripped off hinges, bathroom sanitation was non-existent. Anarchist signs were painted on their new "Peace City."

NEWT GINGRICH, THE NEW AGE, GLOBAL CIVIL SOCIETY AND GLOBAL GOVERNANCE

Newt Gingrich has just announced he plans to run for President in 2012. And a whole bunch of undiscerning “Conservatives” and “Christians” might just well back him. The entire affair will be to the utter delight of New Age strategists and global planners who well consider Newt Gingrich an indispensable part of their apparatus.
Recently resigned State Department official Dr. Anne-Marie Slaughter believes that the “New World Order” of which she is an unashamed proponent is already well in place. It is a network of networks, per Slaughter. It is composed of equivalent globalized governmental layers from all levels of government from the executive to the legislative and judiciary and down through various levels of bureaucracies including regulatory commissions sharing information and planning “model legislation” together. All levels also interact with “Non-governmental organizations” (NGO’s). Business is tied together by “The UN Global Compact.” Perhaps nobly, more aptly scarily is this obviously global fascistic goal as stated by former UN General Kofi Annan, of “shared values and principles, which give a human face to the global market.” (emphasis added). All corporate participants are expected to pledge allegiance to the principles of “diversity” and “fighting climate change” (defined at least at present as “global warming.)
Query: What “shared values”? What “shared principles”? Also, the “banking crisis” artificially generated or otherwise, has led to calls for “a new financial architecture for the 21st Century. (Slaughter, A NEW WORLD ORDER, p. 20).
Now, just how does NEWT GINGRICH, fit into the increasing momentum of the global governance agenda? He was, bluntly, an “early adopter.” In 1996 before he left Congress in scandal, he was putting together incredibly linked global governance networks. According to Anne-Marie Slaughter’s 2004 Princeton University Press book, A NEW WORLD ORDER:
“When Newt Gingrich was Speaker of the House, he was convinced that parliamentary networks would give domestic legislators a new role in foreign policy. In 1996 he sent a letter to his Russian counterpart, Gennadyy Seleznyov, to create a forum made up of members of U.S. and Russian legislatures to discuss issues of defense, foreign policy, energy, and the environment on a regular basis. The result was the U.S. Congress-Russian Duma Study Group.”
Newt Gingrich did this at the “legislative level.” His very good friend and New Age buddy, Al Gore, did likewise at the executive level. According to Anne-Slaughter, “The [Gore’s]commission created a special channel to advance not only common political objectives but also to enhance each politician’s political position at home.” (emphasis added) (Slaughter, A NEW WORLD ORDER, p. 114)
Wading deeper and deeper into global government (ooops, governance) territories, Newt Gingrich created “the Twenty-First Century International Legislators Network.” This, per Slaughter, he “launched in 1996.” It was “sponsored” by the U.S. Congressional Institute. This was to be “a global web of legislators.”
If Gingrich were talking, which he undoubtedly non-stop is, he would probably say it was “to strengthen democracy around the world.” Knowing the New Age agenda as I do, I would say that was neither probable nor possible. Considering that one of Newt Gingrich’s more recent books is entitled A CONTRACT WITH THE EARTH, Earth Charter ramifications are abundantly clear.
I opened my personal file on Newt Gingrich in 1982 after reading articles about him in Marilyn Ferguson’s LEADING EDGE BULLETIN. She wrote of the brave Georgian Congressman, Newt Gingrich, who was working so hard to advance the New Age agenda. I continued to follow his exploits through his insensitive serving of divorce papers on his first wife Jackie as she was recovering from cancer surgery; his remarriage to his aide Marianne; his affair while married to Marianne to the woman now his wife. In 1989, I was contacted by one of his former aides and campaign managers, a man known as “Chip.” This was the same close observer and former aide quoted in the press as saying that no matter how much good he did for the world, he could never do enough good to offset the evil he had caused by supporting Newt Gingrich’s original election campaign. The “Christian” Gingrich wrote Chip that his daily practice of Taoism helped him make his daily decisions in Congress.
"[Newt] Gingrich's influence in the third way movement [has] brought on kudos from the likes of New Age 'philosopher' Mark Satin [who has] identified Gingrich as a top 'decentralist / globally responsible' [thinker]. An interesting paradox, that fits the odd decentralism of the Third Way. . . . Beyond that, Mr. Satin . . . is not the kind of man you expect to be praising [Gingrich]." -- Steve Farrell & Diane Alden, "Third Way Contract," Independent American Party [website], c. January 2005”
Newt Gingrich wrote in many of his official bio’s for conservative causes that he taught history. In actuality, it was in the New Age full employment program of “Environmental Studies.” In the mid 1980s, Mark Satin, author of NEW AGE POLITICS and NEW OPTIONS newsletter gave “Internationalist” rankings for Congressmen. Heading the list with the best “internationalist” voting records in Congress were Newt Gingrich and Marcy Kaptur, a Congresswoman from Toledo, Ohio.
An interesting analysis of Newt Gingrich appeared in a 1986 edition of the Los Angeles Times. It noted how he was most likely a left leaner, but learned that the right got the votes. Ergo, he suddenly veered course to the right. That analysis troubles me more than the Alvin Toffler, Heidi Toffler, Environmental Studies analyses which are a red flag of New Age danger in and of themselves.. It suggests a man who is more amoral than immoral. Such a person to my way of thinking is most dangerous of all – he does nothing from conviction or reason, but does all from a analysis of personal advantage.

On November 11, 1994, still bubbling and cocksure over the Republican takeover of both Houses, his coming coronation as Speaker of the House, and his annointing as King of the Republican Revolution, Gingrich couldn't resist exploiting the moment to put in a free plug for something he so devoutly believed in. . . . "The core of our Contract," and the solution for those "trying to figure out how to put me in a box," he said, could be found in a book by futurist Alvin Toffler called "The Third Way;" to which he added: "I am a conservative futurist ." (1) . . .
Futurism, as already alluded to, is one and the same with the Third Way or Third Wave, but for brevity sake, Webster's Dictionary gives us another take on this subject. . . .
"Futurism: Study of, and interest in, forecasting or anticipating the future, or theorizing on how to impose controls on events." (2)
Or in other words, a head in the clouds political philosophy, complete with theories and forecasts, which envisions the use of force to insure those theories and forecasts come to past.
It would not be a stretch to call it communism with economic vision, for that is what the futurists of the Third Way call it. But, what then, is a conservative futurist? If we believe Newt Gingrich, it is in person, a post 1994 Republican. And it is in policy, the Contract With America, the go along, get along policies of a party who for the next six year "caved" under Clinton, and the faith-based subsidies, public private partnership, fast track hopes, and bipartisan spirit of today’s Compassionate Conservativism movement - the latter of which had its start in the legislation and underlying principles of that same Gingrich Contract...”
Perhaps Newt Gingrich is not a New Ager, but saw political advantage at the time as portraying himself in certain circles as one. As dangerous as an ideologue of any strip potentially is, I would prefer one to a self-centered narcissist. Perhaps an ideologue could be converted. A narcissist could only be reinforced. While we are all sinners in need of saving by Grace, I fear we have somebody in public life who lacks both conviction and shame.
May the Lord help us all!Germany once put somebody in office that bragged that if one repeated a lie often enough and loud enough, people would believe it. Too many people do. I fear that the USA may well be on the verge of doing the same vis a vis Newt Gingrich. As far as the Christians not seeing through Newt Gingrich, this is what I have to say to them. “If you couldn’t see through Rev. Moon (“Lord of the Second Advent) and you couldn’t see through Paul N. Temple (Institute of Noetic Sciences co-founder active with the Prayer Breakfast Network of Douglas Coe), then I can hardly expect you to see through Newt Gingrich!

If I did not know about the Occupy Movement what I do, I would be sorely tempted to go out there and march with them. Many of those involved are young people with unique stresses (extreme college tuition debt, mortgage crises) and see no other remedy. This is clearly a product of those in the 2012 or "Ascension Networks." If this is headed where I strongly believe it is, there is no advantage either in this world or the world to come to avail oneself of the planned system:

And further, from Revelation 16:2, there were hideous sores as a last plague upon those who worshiped the beast and his image and/or took the mark:
And the first went, and poured out his bowl upon the earth; and there fell foul and evil sores upon the men who had the mark of the beast, and upon them who worshiped his image.
Choosing to understand what a global economic structure could be like, for example, is the first step to gaining access to more balanced, natural ways of relating on all levels and especially with the earth, nature and our true selves.
Even with the announcement about a new form of global currency, some of the comments are rightfully skeptical. We understand that.
