I may be repenting of my endorsement of David Horowitz’ book. He makes explicit in some of his writings of his mentorship and endorsement of Trump speechwriter Stephen Miller. I strongly suspect that Miller wrote Trump’s Saturday night CPAC speech -- promising “total demolishment” of such things as “RINO’s”, “deep state”, the swamp. It is obvious to me that his promise to be “your justice and your retribution” was his promised pardons to those involved in the January 6, 2021 Capitol Insurrection.
I find Kevin McCarthy’s exclusive turn over to Tucker Carlson of 40,000 plus hours of January 6th footage disgusting AND DISHONEST on McCarthy’s part -- McCarthy witnessed and condemned those January 6 events conrtemporaneous with their occurrence -- however, when he saw that Trump’s cult-like base was still with him, he apologized to Trump for his condemnation. Now he helps to rewrite the narrative of what the entire country witnessed live in action.
I don’t know where Liz Cheney is and what she is doing now, but I confess I would LOVE to see her run as USA President. I was no fan of her father’s, but I am of her. From my observation, she is a Constitution respecting woman of deep honesty, intellect, courage and integrity.

Well Carlos Alegria and Yuri Nunes of Phinance Technologies' "humanity project" include ALL excess deaths, which could be from anything...including fentynol, in their computations implying it's all because of the covid vaccine. I agree they are insane.
Part of their study includes an absurd basic chart trying to demonstrate simply that because gross excess death percentages were higher in 2022 and 2021 than 2020 in 8 out of 9 European countries post vaccine, the vaccine must have caused it.

The protest in Nashville was largely parents and teenagers protesting for gun control. Tennessee's legislative building is open to the public. Any photos you see of tennessee LEO's "moving" such protestors was in order to clear a path for legislators to enter their chambers or to remove overly disruptive voices from the gallery (I presume because I think I read they did clear the gallery). Legislative business was undertaken as usual...despite the 1000 or so protestors outside demanding the republican supermajority do something...anything to curb some assault rifle violence.
This also needn't be conflated with a small Kentucky transgender protest or the upcoming small trans protest in washington DC....though I understand completely the GOP/Maga desire to attempt to stoke fears of a socalled "leftist insurrection".

p.s.- I did see confirmation that the Nashville shooter was autistic. I think this is or may prove to be far more relevant than her recently trying to identify as a man. Her manifesto will likely become public one day but I'll be reading it aware that this awkward disturbed young autistic girl was probably just trying to fit in and connect with anyone. This was a suicide mission and an attack on people she knew and blamed for her misery, not trying to be a martyr on behalf of some trans community.

I've been wanting to post some of Laura's video work as well, but like you both said, her presentation style is annoying. She has great content! But the style.... well, she's creative, I'll give her that. :^)
What many posters here seem to fail to even consider is that the enemy of our souls might be hoodwinking the Church into embracing something of his own creation - a "solution" he is presenting with one hand (the one where he plays an "angel of light") to the problems he created with the other hand (where he plays the obviously evil angel of darkness). It's a solution that feels right, but it puts too much faith in worldly, political means to solve the spiritual problem of sin.
I have been a conservative all my life. I voted for Reagan (twice), and every Republican since, even though I had to hold my nose a few times while doing so. I almost got sucked into Reconstructionism and such things. What I've come to realize fairly recently is that *both* the Left and the Right have a different (and even opposite, politically speaking) means toward the same end: Building the Kingdom of God (or building Heaven) on Earth. The Bible clearly says this will not happen (the establishment of the Kingdom) until Jesus Christ returns physically to the Earth. Any project of building Heaven on Earth is doomed to failure, and spawns all kinds of evil, no matter whether it's the Left or the Right doing it. Up to the present time, more death and destruction by far has been wrought by those Utopians on the Left. But history is not finished yet...
Some in the New Age (Alice Bailey for one) have written about using the Church to help advance humanity into the New Age of enlightenment, by infiltrating it and subverting its doctrines, and convincing the Church that this "kingdom building" project is a good idea. They teach that the "christ consciousness" will awaken in a bunch of people all at once, and that this "awakening" is really what the Bible is talking about when it speaks of Christ's return - "the christ" will appear by manifesting in a mystical way through people around the world in a sort of Planetary Pentecost (Barbara Marx Hubbard's term), or "Pentecost 2.0", which is a term used in some of the hypercharismatic churches.
This concept of Christ manifesting through the Church when He returns, or as some put it, Christ returning "through" His church, instead of "for" it - is becoming a common theme in many of the NAR and other hypercharismatic churches. It has its roots in the Latter Rain and Manifest Sons of God teachings from the late 40s and early 50s.
The scary part, which some here laugh at, is that these teachings have so many things in common, it is not difficult to see how this may be part of the deception that is coming upon the whole world that Jesus warned us about, that will deceive if possible even the elect.
Jesus said His kingdom is not of this world, and that if it was, his followers would fight for him. We need to understand that in the end, there is NO political solution to our spiritual sickness. We can build a conservative, Red State utopia, where the liberals are nowhere to be found, but if people aren't coming to Christ in sorrow and repentance, and souls aren't being added to Christ's spiritual kingdom, all we have done is make the road to hell a more pleasant ride for a great number of people.
The worst that could happen is that you, thinking you are helping out God and building His Kingdom by fighting against the evil bad cabal and whoever else, end up joining arms with the very movement that will turn out to be the Luciferian (remember, Lucifer means "light bearer") kingdom of the antichrist, as it tries to set itself up as "humanity's best hope for survival and advancement". You might even want to put to death those who are inhibiting the establishment of this "better world". See John 16:2.

This morning I heard a story of a small sect of Russian fighters referred to as "accelerationists" who seek to undermine Putin and his dictatorship and restore the Russian Orthodox church as the political power in Russia under their own pope, Kirill, I presume. I have no idea how large this movement is in Russia but if they succeed at ever removing Putin it seems the ecumenical russian orthodox church might be looked upon to save the people (a false light) in the resulting political vacuum.

Here's my personal observation. Back in the mid 80's I attended a NAR Dominionist church in Arizona. I didn't believe those teachings then, nor now. However this was a congregation that displayed a love, and fervency for Jesus that I have never seen before, and I have traveled a lot, and been in numerous churches in my 68 years! The depth of fellowship was incredible. The depth of love for Christ I have now, is partly due to my time in that congregation. Honestly, these people loved the Savior to a depth I'm not sure even exists in the west at this time? The kicker is, that the Pastor knew Mrs.Cumbey from The Arizona Breakfast Club. He had both of Constance's books, and encouraged the congregation to get both books and read them! The Pastor studied the New Age movement in depth, and gave teaching sermons on the NA regularly.

I don't think my church is compromised. There are a few outspoken maga persons on the outskirts but it's very Bible based and the leadership is not engaging in politics at all.
I say that having come out of a very compromised non-denominational church.
The NAR types would call my church and old dusty one book church; however, it's growing as the seeker churches become more charismatic and the real Christians (the ones reading their bibles) look for churches that will actually feed them versus entertaining them.
The seeker churches used to advertise that they weren't your dad's kind of church like they were the new hip thing God was doing. My advice to this next generation is to go back and find your grandfather's church (that your dad unwisely left).
From what I can tell -- it's REALLY hard to find that down south. My wife and I struggled leaving Tennessee and there are a lot of good people and family there but the churches have almost entirely gone NAR or NAR light. Word of Faith, celebrity preachers and clouds without waters. They seemed driven there, not by the Gospel, but by the business model. The competition for congregants compelled it. Conform or perish.
Our extended families just don't see it... yet. Christianity had blended with the community to such an extent over generations, questioning any of it consituted social suicide.

My kids attend a Fundamental Baptist church X. I attended one myself many years ago. In my humble opinion the Fundamental Baptists are more of a dangerous Cult than NAR etc.

Grand Jurys are made up of inexperienced, every day citizens. They are picked to serve at random from a list of registered voters (presumably because people that vote are better citizens). Grand Jurys are easily intimidated, and led, by the prosecutor (or team of prosecutors) and generally just follow their lead. That's why it's been often said that a "You can get a Grand Jury to indict a ham sandwich."
While Trump's enemies are rejoicing, they don't realize that the American Justice system has now been politicized, which opens up bogus indictments against anyone they desire to go after. If perhaps, your social justice score turns up a negative on an AI app, they may single you out for some meaningless charge just to silence you. Don't think such a thing can't happen!

It certainly wasn't our support of Ukraine that drove China into Russia's arms.
China and Russia have been allies for a much longer time than most suppose. I used to post about that here years ago. Anatoliy Golitsyn wrote about the supposed Sino-Soviet split from the Cold War era and told us it was a fake split meant for Western consumption (in his excellent book "New Lies for Old", published in 1984). The reason they "faked it" was so that we would become allies with one Communist nation, while despising the other, and start sending money and resources to our new "ally".
Did their strategy work? Nixon went to China, and made them our best buddies, so that the USSR would collapse from envy, or something. But their alliance, while it had its issues, has been from then until now. They both believe in the "Satanic Worldwide Leninist Revolution" (to use Chris Story's phrase). They no longer fear the US (thanks to Biden, Obama, and other Dem leaders) at all, so now they can "come out" about their relationship, and make it look like it's the West's fault.
In fact, one could make a case that China has secretly told Biden to act just as he has acted thus far in his presidency, so as to give China "legitimacy" when they side with Russia. Could it be possible that Biden is beholden to the Chinese at that level of control? Let's see.... China has nuclear weapons (either as a missile or as an orbiting satellite posing as a weather station or some other such thing) that they could detonate above our continent that would create an EMP that would send us back to stone age, killing our electronics and electrical grid. Nuclear blackmail isn't outside the realm of possibility is it? Inferring conclusions at the individual level from data obtained at the population level is known as the ecological fallacy and has been a recurrent logical fallacy in many vaccine-related claims, as Health Feedback explained on previous occasions.
Last, Stirling’s analysis involved examining the variation of mortality between 2021 and 2022, but this introduces a significant but more subtle limitation to the analysis, which we’ll explain below.
Relative metrics such as the mortality variation from one year to the next can be useful but lack information on one important aspect, which is the absolute all-cause mortality level in each metro area.
For instance, a state suffering from an exceptionally high mortality rate but with slightly fewer people dying in 2022 compared to 2021 will be registered as a decrease in mortality [like southern states where unvaccinated were hit hard by the delta variant]. Conversely, a state with a much lower mortality rate but where slightly more people died in 2022 than in 2021 will be registered as an increase in mortality. In reality, however, the latter state is faring much better than the former. Only showing the relative change in mortality rate, as Stirling did, failed to address this possibility.

If you like shooting assault rifles (and I don’t blame you if you do), you could easily go to a range and shoot the ones they have there. In fact, with the money you’d spend on bullets, attachments, and maintenance of your own weapon, you could easily afford shooting on the range whenever you want.

Participating states share voter registration and motor vehicle records to keep voter registrations up to date as voters move or die—a challenge for any one state made manageable by data sharing. Now, a rash of Republican departures threatens to undo ERIC’s bipartisan progress.
The Republican exodus is fueled by disinformation smearing ERIC as a “Soros-funded organization.” It began on right-wing radio and was stoked by the Gateway Pundit. Louisiana quickly withdrew in response. In the last few months, six other states, including Florida and Ohio, have too.
Any congressional response to the problem of coordinating voter registration—now exacerbated by the withdrawals from ERIC—is limited by the constitutional allocation of election authority between the federal and state governments. Congress does not have the authority to simply federalize voter registration for all elections. First off...Hogg is 22 years old. Young enough to change his mind about a lot of things. He may even try new things...such as responsibly discharging weapons at a regulated shooting range. Not that Biden couldn't foresee, like the rest of us, that Trump was/is facing multiple likely indictments for an array of criminal conduct. I think at least 2 more indictments are coming in the next month. Also...there is actually nothing unconstitutional about prosecuting a former President citizen for his crimes.
To be clear...the question was "When asked how other world leaders should view this moment for America, with Trump potentially running again, Biden said the answer was to make sure Trump never returned to power.

I would ask of you to please reconsider your admonition for everyone here to call it ALL out. That isn't, as you say, very fair.
When the Lord calls some to be watchmen (and watchwomen), they are not positioned along the wall all in the same spot.
In ancient times, the walls of a city usually surrounded it on all sides. Some of the watchers had one view, some another. When under attack, the enemy could be approaching on more than one side, and employing different tactics. It is not the job of a watchman to bring intel about all of the approaching dangers to the city, just that of the danger he has been appointed to see and warn about.
That one does not warn about a particular thing does not indicate blindness toward that thing, or a willingness to give it a pass.
If we all began with that assumption it would eliminate a lot of unnecessary back-and-forth here, in my opinion. None of us sees the entire big picture, nor should they expect anyone else to. The whole idea of a "discussion board" (which the comments section of a blog post is not well adapted for) is to get a variety of perspectives so a more accurate picture can be seen be all.
The slants and biases here are constant and an issue here, Marko. Selective (highly subjective) seeing and hearing is not helping truth come forward. I used to assume that is what this blog was about.
