I have been receiving emails from one Robert Bowen that bluntly disgust and alarm me. I fear that this mode of thinking has penetrated my blogspot to no small degree. Repentance from all propagating this information is needed.
Today, I received abhorrent videos made by a Benjamin Fulford. He is giving this horrible theory propagated by a New Age devotee Arthur Koestler. Koestler was allegedly a former Communist. He clearly turned staunchly New Age and died a New Ager in a double suicide (or was it suicide murder?) with his wife. He was recognized as a leading New Age figure by AQUARIAN CONSPIRACY author Marilyn Ferugon. She also mentions his important New Age book "Janus".
What I heard from Mr. Fulford was utter unthinkable and abhorrent. He called for murdering all the "Khazars" (called the 13th Tribe by Arthur Koestler).
From the same source, I received other materials that sicken me: The "The Gateway Pundit", Lara Logan videos about how Putin is so very innocent and only trying to save us from the Globalist Agenda of groups such as the World Economic Forum.
Nonsense! Only a very few short months ago, Russia signed a partnership agreement with the World Economic Forum to implement the "4th Industrial Revolution"!
Well, just for the argument's sake, shall we assume that most European Jews were not "true Jews" but were Khazars -- a group allegedly converting to Judaism to avoid other unpleasant circumstances?
Well, if that be the case, I want to go shake their hands for bravely undergoing the extreme persecution that Hitler meted out.

To expand on what I wonder about, I'm thinking that the Apostles would have been thinking in Hebrew but writing in Greek. Their audience would have been Hebrew peoples. The first gentile converts would have been instructed by Jews, like Paul. If a Hebrew man is thinking in Hebrew and writing "cloud" in Greek, what do you suppose he means, in the context of Jesus coming on the clouds, with the understanding that Jesus is God, and God came on the clouds in the Old Testament? Hebrews who knew their Old Testament would have known about the Shekinah glory or the glory cloud. Does a translation into the English word "cloud" really convey the meaning adequately? Perhaps the answer is to translate literally but include notes in the margins about the Shekinah glory?

But I translated the Hebrew from Daniel 7:13, and the LXX Greek is a very close match. This is the language of Daniel, and Jesus appropriated the Greek translation of it (unless we think Jesus spoke Aramaic and Matthew wrote in Greek, but then again, the Hebrew in Daniel matches anyway).
If the NT writers wanted to exactly convey 'Shekinah glory' or 'glory cloud' they could have used a Greek transliteration of those Hebrew or Aramaic words (this happens a few times, e.g. 'Messiah' for "Christ" and 'Cephas' for "Peter"--see John 1:41 and 1:42).
Relatedly, in Daniel 7:13, note the phraseology in most English Versions “as/like a/the Son of Man”. More literally, this should be “as/like a son of man”, NOT with “the”. The term “son of man” (ben Adam) is a Hebrew/Jewish idiom, simply meaning “human”. Of course, in the NT Jesus referred to Himself as the particularized ‘the Son of Man’. So, those versions that translate Daniel 7:13 “as/like the Son of Man” are incorrect, are ‘over’-translations. The point in Daniel is that the one coming upon/with the clouds of heaven looks like a human. But we all recognize this as the Messiah, the more-than-merely-human Jesus Christ.
Those are all good points, Craig. There are several places where clouds or a cloud are mentioned in association with the coming of Jesus. Matthew and Mark say "clouds of heaven." Luke just says "cloud." In Revelation John writes of an angel coming down out of heaven "clothed in a cloud."
Don't you think "clouds of heaven" has to mean more than just a normal cloud or clouds? I'm not even sure at this point if we are disagreeing or if I've just not been precise enough or maybe the way I've expressed my exegesis has been too half baked. I still don't feel like "clouds of heaven" have been fully exegeted. I suppose it's an issue of exegesis and not only translation.
This is another mention of a cloud that particularly catches my interest. The text simply says "cloud" but the angels explain that the cloud took Jesus up into heaven and that He would return the same way they saw him go.

Some passages are darker, that's a given, and we are all waiting for more light for them, but in this case it is speaking plainly, and simply, and parsing this much makes it obtuse when it doesn't need to be.

Wow, thank you for cluing me in about the New Age usage of "Shekinah." I will completely drop "Shekinah." I looked it up quickly to learn that it's an old Rabbi word. In Hebrew "Shekinah" just means "dwelling" or "settling." As you can see from the below Old Testament references, it would be a natural word for ancient Rabbis to use, since it was a repeated occurrence for them to have perceived the glory or the cloud of God settling or dwelling on a mountain top, in the desert, the tabernacle, over the mercy seat, and more.
Daniel ties together the Old Testament with Revelation very nicely, and Daniel talks of a cloud in association with the ascension of Jesus, just as the New Testament does in the book of Acts.

At one time, I too assumed that "Shekhinah glory" was a proper description of the presence of the glory of God. In fact, early on, I recall a Pastor using it upon occasion. (He happened to have been a Dispensationalist that graduated from the Dallas Theological Seminary). Much later in time, and knowing that it was not a biblical term, something prompted me to look it up. What I found, to my surprise, is that 'Shekhinah' has its origin in and is used extensively in the Jewish Babylonian Talmud, which is the basis of the occult practice of Kabbalah. Shekhinah is a VERY important aspect of Kabbalah, which uses 'Shekhinah' in order to portray God's presence as 'female.'

The word shekinah does not appear in the Bible, but the concept clearly does. The Jewish rabbis coined this extra-biblical expression, a form of a Hebrew word that literally means “he caused to dwell,” signifying that it was a divine visitation of the presence or dwelling of the Lord God on this earth. The Shekinah was first evident when the Israelites set out from Succoth in their escape from Egypt. There the Lord appeared in a cloudy pillar in the day and a fiery pillar by night: “After leaving Succoth they camped at Etham on the edge of the desert. By day the LORD went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people” (Exodus 13:20–22).
God spoke to Moses out of the pillar of cloud in Exodus 33, assuring him that His Presence would be with the Israelites (v. 9). I did a little bit of reading in the book somebody shared about the Shekinah up the thread. This book seems to have been written by a Messianic Jew who actually used to pray before her conversion for the Shekinah glory to visit her. She seems to have targeted an audience of other Messianic Jews who may also need to sort Kaballah from Old Testament.

It’s been a long day here, so I’m just getting caught up. While the GotQuestions site has some good info, it is sometimes not sufficiently nuanced (even for its intended general audience) and even wrong at times. In the case of Shekinah, the very first statement is wrong.
The word Shekinah IS in the Hebrew Bible—in Hebrew. Its basic translation is “dwell”. It is ‘spelled’ (conjugated) a number of different ways, depending on usage. Here are but two examples:

šā·ḵə·nāh
At some point this verb was turned into a noun. Consider our word “party”. It began strictly as a noun, then later it was also made into the verb “to party” (“party”). With respect to Shekinah, it was apparently the other way around: it began as a verb and was later made into a noun.
We must keep in mind that the Jews had a VERY strong oral tradition. Scripture was memorized for recitation, e.g. So, though the noun form is first found apparently in the texts of the Targums (or Targumim)—written translations of the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) into Aramaic (and other languages?)—it seems very likely this noun was in oral use before the Targums were actually written. Assuming so, this would predate Christianity and the NT era.
Thus, any subsequent as in a form of the Kabbalah (there are quite a few forms) must be seen as perversions of the original intent.
I meant to add this one, as this is the one containing some of the appropriate contexts. Keep in mind the word is prepended (prefixed) with the particle wə, which functions as a conjunction here:

I wonder if the Holy Spirit of the New Testament is equivalent to the visible manifestation of the presence of God that He allowed to be perceived at times and in places in the Old Testament, in the form of fire, clouds, and radiance.
The Holy Spirit dwells in the Christian. The visible manifestation of the presence of God (fire, cloud, radiance) that was observed by the ancient Israelites dwelled in the temple and in the tabernacle and in the ark of the Covenant.
When the Holy Spirit came down to the Apostles on Pentecost there were appearances of fire and sounds of wind. A pillar of fire by night, and a burning bush, were two manifestations of the presence of God in the Old Testament.
It just makes me wonder about it.

I'm sure you believe as I do, God has always sought hearts (a relationship with us made in His Image) of every person, so it has always been by faith, not works (duty), where obedience to Him--by means of love, worship, not slavery--and the righteousness granted from above that He seeks to give in exchange-through forgiveness-for our unrighteousness, is to come from. It's the very difference between religion and relationship. The inner spiritual man can know God over and above the mere natural man who cannot know God (the world [system], the flesh, and the devil, are always His enemy).
So He has said this, but even more often implied this in Old testament, and we know the only way that is possible is in Christ Jesus, so types of Christ show up throughout the Old Testament were spoken and demonstrated to open their eyes to God through the Son (Messiah) then too. Jesus is foreshadowed throughout the Old, of course, His Presence was here bodily in the interim, and He left us with the shadow of His Cross in the New.
There are incredible examples and applications for us to understand to walk by faith in both Testaments.

Those statistics were created by Ted Cruz so not very trustworty or reliable coming from an Opus Dei operative, an organization with a long history of advocating and protecting roman catholic priests accused of child predation and sexual assaults.
For example...the "national average" isn't the "national average" of sentences by Federal District Court Judges in real life, but, rather, an average of the GUIDELINES. Guidelines are not mandatory in Federal Court and less than 30% of all convicted non-production child pornography offenders received a sentence within the guidelines. Without looking at the individual facts and variances applied by Judge Jackson, in each case and then comparing like-facts in other cases presided over by other federal judges you really don't have ANYTHING to suggest Judge Jackson is soft on crime.
In fact, if any of the current supreme court justices were previously district court judges, their child pornography sentences averages were likely ALL lower than Judge Jackson's because the "Guidelines" have gone up a lot since 2005.
For example, the average guideline minimum for non-production child pornography offenders increased from 98 months in fiscal year 2005 to 136 months in fiscal year 2019. However, the average actual sentences increased more gradually, from 91 months in fiscal year 2005 to 103 months in fiscal year 2019. Also notice that this means in 2019 the average actual sentences in all such cases in Federal District Court were, on average, 25% below the Guideline minimums.

In any case, as for Shekinah, I don't know why I didn't think to consult the International Standard Bible Encyclopedia (ISBE). I just learned that the old version is now online, so see Shekinah here. Below is directly from the version in my software, which shows the Hebrew (keep in mind the language reads right to left [and that the characters do not transfer well to blog comments]):
Shekinah shē̇-kı̄′na (שְׁכִינָה, “that which dwells,” from the verb שָׁכֵן, or שָׁכַן, “to dwell,” “reside”): This word is not found in the Bible, but there are allusions to it in Isa 60:2; Mt 17:5; Lk 2:9; Rom 9:4. It is first found in the Targums.
Given the above, one may think I was a bit too harsh in my comment on the GotQuestions entry. Fair enough; however, I also have the newer ISBE in hard copy, which updates and expands (or contracts as the case may be) some of the first version's entries. Here's the first bit from it--much better than the rather truncated explanation in the original. The second paragraph much better phrases and expands on (and partially corrects) what I stated above:

I don't know which term derives from which (Hebrew to Greek, Greek to Hebrew, or?...).

Many European nations (like Germany) depend almost entirely on Russian gas to power their economies. The day that the gas stops flowing is the day that Germany’s economy plunges into collapse, suffering irreversible economic damage due to mass bankruptcies of German-based businesses.
“Germany and Austria have taken the first steps towards gas rationing,” the BBC adds. Austria relies on Russia for 80% of its natural gas.
Western nations cut Russia off from dollars and euros, yet they insist on paying Russia with the very same dollars and euros that Russia can no longer use.
European leaders have said they refuse to pay for Russian energy exports with rubles. But these same nations took part in a financial system de-platforming of Russia that means Russia is largely unable to use dollars or euros. So there’s no point in Russia trading gas for fiat currencies that it can’t use and doesn’t want.
Nobody needs dollars, really, since dollars are a failing fiat currency that’s being devalued by the day. Amazing isn't it that the way that our supposed "betters" have responded to virus before, yet so altered now..
This virus and the whole episode was weaponized against us.
And those who did that are finding out that many have caught on to the ploy but I find it quite discouraging how many are still listening to these (such as Fauci, etc) for their posed solutions when it is they who fostered this experiment upon us all to begin with. Their patents on disease, their funding for particular research, their way of introducing it to the masses has a timeline and intent that tells us how wrong their motive truly is.
Why on earth would I trust for a solution or cure from the very ones who cooked this up disease and aftermath? And withheld the real and available treatment from millions the world over to sell--literally sell our national health down the tubes--while they greedily enriched and proudly empowered themselves on people's suffering.
My natural immunity is a blessing. And help for those with lesser health (less strong immune response) to combat it, were used as pawns, quite literally, health hostages.
We would have fared so much better using the reasonableness of the past way to face health issues.

Among teenage boys, the rate of myocarditis or pericarditis after infection was at least 50 cases per 100,000 people, compared to at least 22 cases per 100,000 after the second vaccine dose. The overall risk of heart conditions after Covid infection was up to 5.6 times higher compared to the second vaccine dose. The risk was up to 69 times higher after infection compared to the first shot.
The CDC examined the electronic health records of more than 15 million people ages 5 and older across 40 health-care systems from Jan. 2021 through Jan. 2022.
