"Americans and the main-stream media have been very slow in catching on to the fact that we are in a war-a war that is cultural, religious and political. One document not mentioned in The Despoiling of America is the closeted manual that reveals how the right wing in American politics can get and keep power. It was created under the tutelage of Paul Weyrich , the man who founded the Free Congress Foundation. Conservative leaders consider Weyrich to be the "most powerful man in American politics today." There is no question of his immense influence in conservative circles. He is also considered the founder of the Heritage Foundation , a conservative think tank made possible with funding from Joseph Coors and Richard Mellon-Scaife. Weyrich served as the Founding President from 1973-1974.
To get a sense of how revolutionary the political fight for power in the U.S. is, we need to look at a few quotes from what has been dubbed, "Paul Weyrich's Teaching Manual," the Free Congress Foundation's strategic plan on how to gain control of the government of the U.S. Written by Eric Heubeck, and titled, "The Integration of Theory and Practice: A Program for the New Traditionalist Movement," the document is no longer available at the Free Congress Foundation's website for obvious reasons. But excerpts are published at the Yurica Report . The excerpts explain why the Dominionists are winning; the tactics they endorse are sheer Machiavellian:
I have paraphrased the four immoral principles of the Dominionist movement as the following:
1) Falsehoods are not only acceptable, they are a necessity. The corollary is: The masses will accept any lie if it is spoken with vigor, energy and dedication.
2) It is necessary to be cast under the cloak of "goodness" whereas all opponents and their ideas must be cast as "evil."
3) Complete destruction of every opponent must be accomplished through unrelenting personal attacks.
4) The creation of the appearance of overwhelming power and brutality is necessary in order to destroy the will of opponents to launch opposition of any kind.

Eric Heubeck, the author of Mr. Weyrich's manual, does not mince words. Here is a sample of the most immoral political program ever adopted by a political movement in this country. Notice that the manual begins with the adoption of the fundamental fact of Machiavellianism:
"This essay is based on the belief that the truth of an idea is not the primary reason for its acceptance. Far more important is the energy and dedication of the idea's promoters-in other words, the individuals composing a social or political movement.
"We must, as Mr. Weyrich has suggested, develop a network of parallel cultural institutions existing side-by-side with the dominant leftist cultural institutions. The building and promotion of these institutions will require the development of a movement that will not merely reform the existing post-war conservative movement, but will in fact be forced to supersede it-if it is to succeed at all-because it will pursue a very different strategy and be premised on a very different view of its role in society..
"There will be three main stages in the unfolding of this movement. The first stage will be devoted to the development of a highly motivated elite able to coordinate future activities. The second stage will be devoted to the development of institutions designed to make an impact on the wider elite and a relatively small minority of the masses. The third stage will involve changing the overall character of American popular culture..
"Our movement will be entirely destructive, and entirely constructive. We will not try to reform the existing institutions. We only intend to weaken them, and eventually destroy them. We will endeavor to knock our opponents off-balance and unsettle them at every opportunity. All of our constructive energies will be dedicated to the creation of our own institutions..
"We will maintain a constant barrage of criticism against the Left. We will attack the very legitimacy of the Left. We will not give them a moment's rest. We will endeavor to prove that the Left does not deserve to hold sway over the heart and mind of a single American. We will offer constant reminders that there is an alternative, there is a better way. When people have had enough of the sickness and decay of today's American culture, they will be embraced by and welcomed into the New Traditionalist movement. The rejection of the existing society by the people will thus be accomplished by pushing them and pulling them simultaneously.
"We will use guerrilla tactics to undermine the legitimacy of the dominant regime.
"We must create a countervailing force that is just as adept as the Left at intimidating people and institutions that are used as tools of left-wing activism but are not ideologically committed, such as Hollywood celebrities, multinational corporations, and university administrators. We must be feared, so that they will think twice before opening their mouths.
"We will be results-oriented rather than good intentions-oriented. Making a good-faith effort and being ideologically sound will be less important than advancing the goals of the movement.
"We need more people with fire in the belly, and we need a message that attracts those kinds of people.. We must reframe this struggle as a moral struggle, as a transcendent struggle, as a struggle between good and evil. And we must be prepared to explain why this is so. We must provide the evidence needed to prove this using images and simple terms.."

In actuality, the concept that dominionist minded conservatives should establish parallel or dual institutions is a new form of segregation. This is especially apparent when a conservative institution offers the same services or products as the liberal oriented institutions. In other words, if it is not possible for dominionists to takeover or grab power in every institution-they create a parallel world so that the left is to be separated and segregated from the right and conservatives are urged to purchase from the conservative institutions.
The fact that Weyrich's plan has actually been instituted is all around us. The Council on Foreign Relations is mimicked by the secretive dominionist Council for National Policy. [2] The so called "liberal" press is countered with Fox News and Sun Myung Moon's Washington Times , and dominionist talk show hosts spew their right wing political views and venom from coast to coast. Public schools are countered with private home and chartered schools. And in the last few months a move has been made within the churches to break-up and divide denominations along the lines of conservative beliefs in certain social issues so that two sets of churches will be created: one that practices right wing politics and one that is liberal!
It almost mimics what Jesus said he would do in the Bible: those on the Lord's left will be cast into outer darkness, those on the Lord's right will be the chosen elect, the over-comers of God's people. This biblical imagery appears to be a powerful biblical affirmation for church-goers who desire to be on the Lord's "right" politically as well-until one realizes that when the two groups of people stand facing the Lord-the mirror image is reversed: those on his right will be those facing him on the left; those on the Lord's left will be those facing him on the Lord's right! It's just an aside, but it suggests to me that justice will actually be done, when the Lord says, "I never knew you" to those who loudly proclaim their hypocritical religious devotion to him, while ignoring his command to feed the poor and cloth the naked. The biblical passage goes on to say that those about to be cast out ask, "When did we fail to feed the poor and cloth the naked?" The answer is: "In as much as you did it unto the least of these my children-you did it unto me." When dominionists seek to privatize medicare and social security, and deregulate corporate controls on whole industries, so that the poor and needy become poorer and needier, they have done it to the Lord."

Denmark has administered at least 11,402,735 doses of COVID vaccines so far. Assuming every person needs 2 doses, that’s enough to have vaccinated about 98% of the country’s population. Therefore, just 2% of the countries population accounting for 24% of it's non-Omicron infections and 10% of it's Omicron infections gives a rough idea that vaccine effectiveness is you'll be 12 times less likely to get non-omicron and 5 times less likely to get Omicron if you are vaccinated.
This says nothing of hospitalizations and death rates. Covid is endemic now so cherry-picking case numbers isn't really saying much. With 98% of the denmark population vaccinated which includes even closer to 100% of the people that are regularly covid tested for their jobs like airline pilots, hospital personnel, and incoming hospital patients who present themselves to hospitals for other reasons, who are covid asymptomatic but coming up positive for Omicron.
Omicron is already making significant changes to the already dynamic situation. I think we all pray that Omicron is mild for everybody and the unvaccinated that didn't get Covid and pass it along to others in their community previously get sort of vindicated moving forward.

Have the Attitude of Christ

3Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.

Shine Brightly for Christ

Open letter from The BMJ to Mark Zuckerberg
Dear Mark Zuckerberg,
We are Fiona Godlee and Kamran Abbasi, editors of The BMJ, one of the world’s oldest and most influential general medical journals. We are writing to raise serious concerns about the “fact checking” being undertaken by third party providers on behalf of Facebook/Meta.
In September, a former employee of Ventavia, a contract research company helping carry out the main Pfizer covid-19 vaccine trial, began providing The BMJ with dozens of internal company documents, photos, audio recordings, and emails. These materials revealed a host of poor clinical trial research practices occurring at Ventavia that could impact data integrity and patient safety. We also discovered that, despite receiving a direct complaint about these problems over a year ago, the FDA did not inspect Ventavia’s trial sites.
The BMJ commissioned an investigative reporter to write up the story for our journal. The article was published on 2 November, following legal review, external peer review and subject to The BMJ’s usual high level editorial oversight and review.[1]
But from November 10, readers began reporting a variety of problems when trying to share our article. Some reported being unable to share it. Many others reported having their posts flagged with a warning about “Missing context ... Independent fact-checkers say this information could mislead people.” Those trying to post the article were informed by Facebook that people who repeatedly share “false information” might have their posts moved lower in Facebook’s News Feed. Group administrators where the article was shared received messages from Facebook informing them that such posts were “partly false.”
Readers were directed to a “fact check” performed by a Facebook contractor named Lead Stories.[2]
We find the “fact check” performed by Lead Stories to be inaccurate, incompetent and irresponsible.

We are aware that The BMJ is not the only high quality information provider to have been affected by the incompetence of Meta’s fact checking regime. To give one other example, we would highlight the treatment by Instagram (also owned by Meta) of Cochrane, the international provider of high quality systematic reviews of the medical evidence.[3] Rather than investing a proportion of Meta’s substantial profits to help ensure the accuracy of medical information shared through social media, you have apparently delegated responsibility to people incompetent in carrying out this crucial task. Fact checking has been a staple of good journalism for decades. What has happened in this instance should be of concern to anyone who values and relies on sources such as The BMJ.
We hope you will act swiftly: specifically to correct the error relating to The BMJ’s article and to review the processes that led to the error; and generally to reconsider your investment in and approach to fact checking overall.

Vaccine: a biological substance that immunizes someone against an antigen.
Breakthrough infection: an infection with an antigen someone was vaccinated against.
Booster shot: an additional dose of a vaccine administered (often decades later) to refresh immunological memory of an antigen.
In the case of THESE vaccines, the antigen is S1-original. The top part of the spike protein of the original COVID variant.
Delta had multiple mutations in its S1. Omicron has a whopping 36 mutations in S1 and the base of the spike (S2).
Every variant that retained S1-original is basically extinct in heavily vaccinated countries.
These shots don't immunize anyone against any currently circulating antigen.
Therefore cases of delta and omicron can't be considered breakthrough infections. Because no vaccinee was immunized against S1-delta or S1-omicron.
And these are not booster shots, because there's no evidence that vaccinees' immunological memories of the S1-original antigen need refreshing. All S1-original variants are effectively extinct. No one's ever going to come into contact with S1-original. No one needs to be "boosted" for S1-original.
They're giving "boosters" to replenish circulating antibodies as they wear out. Delta was 8 times less susceptible to neutralization by vaccine-induced antibodies as the original variant was. I suspect that omicron is several times less susceptible than delta was.
How can these erroneously named "breakthrough cases" even be described as "immune escape" when the vaccines only immunize you against S1-original, and we're now dealing with the completely different S1-delta and S1-omicron? These are completely different antigens that no vaccinee has been immunized against.
Exposing SARS-CoV-2 naive vaccinees to these completely different antigens will NOT reliably kick off an adaptive immune response and antibody production. And even in cases where it does, the antibodies suck. S1 won the arms race. It not only improved its offensive game, it improved its defensive game.
So why are we using these words, that have very specific medical definitions?

The Covid mRNA vaccines have already accomplished that by saving millions of lives already during the original and delta variants waves. Omicron appears more virulent and infecting the vaccinated and previously infected with a mild upper respiratory illness but a recent study out of Denmark, I think, indicated boosters were still giving added protection in susceptible populations (but surely that data could change next week). Like the subunit partial vaccine (like HPV,Flu or Tetanus) it CAN be updated over time to, potentially, keep up with variants. The mRNA vaccines exceeding expectations but doesn’t last as long as hoped for. Probably why we never had a vaccine for RSV and the common cold previous to this pandemic. In short, Karen, leave it to the men to figure out, we got you (lol)

The problem with her "line of questioning" is that she, as a non-expert (like the rest of us) sets up very limited/limiting definitions for words she doesn't understand and then attempts to make broad fallacious claims and arguments using such limited definitions. I didn't think you saw that so I hoped my explanation helped you see that it was fallacious and therefore not a very reasoned line of questioning.
Not to belabor the point, imagine I questioned the effectiveness of bulletproof vests and said something like "by definition, a bulletproof vest is an article of clothing worn on the upper torso that stops bullets"; however, there are many bullets, like certain rifle bullets that easily penetrate most soft layered bulletproof vests commonly worn by ordinary policemen and prison guards. These vests obviously aren't "bulletPROOF" and shouldn't be marketed as such. How can these erroneously named "bullet-proof vests" even be described as safety equipment when such vests only protect you against ordinary projectiles, and we're now dealing with the completely different cop-killer bullets out there?

p.s. - I think Vitamin D was already misnamed once (it really seems more like a hormone according to many medical experts) so, yeah, it could behave like a vaccine too if it was utilized widely and saved lives when measuring it as 'vaccine' effectiveness. But obviously my "non-expert" "general" definition was to wide (water could be the vaccine for dehydration - lol). Vitamin D is more like oil in a car...it's already there and you have to have enough of it for the car to run properly but it's doesn't run the car itself or make the car do much of anything alone. It doesn't stimulate an immune response, it just enables the body to be able to effectuate a more efficient and effective immune response.

Greetings from Paul
1This letter is from Paul, Silas, and Timothy.
We are writing to the church in Thessalonica, to you who belong to God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
Encouragement during Persecution
3Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing. 4We proudly tell God’s other churches about your endurance and faithfulness in all the persecutions and hardships you are suffering. 5And God will use this persecution to show his justice and to make you worthy of his Kingdom, for which you are suffering. 6In his justice he will pay back those who persecute you.
7And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with his mighty angels, 8in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don’t know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus. 9They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious power. 10When he comes on that day, he will receive glory from his holy people—praise from all who believe. And this includes you, for you believed what we told you about him.
11So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do. 12Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with him. This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.
Events prior to the Lord’s Second Coming
1Now, dear brothers and sisters, let us clarify some things about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and how we will be gathered to meet him. 2Don’t be so easily shaken or alarmed by those who say that the day of the Lord has already begun. Don’t believe them, even if they claim to have had a spiritual vision, a revelation, or a letter supposedly from us. 3Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed—the one who brings destruction. 4He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God.
5Don’t you remember that I told you about all this when I was with you? 6And you know what is holding him back, for he can be revealed only when his time comes. 7For this lawlessness is already at work secretly, and it will remain secret until the one who is holding it back steps out of the way. 8Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by the splendor of his coming.
9This man will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and signs and miracles. 10He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them. 11So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies. 12Then they will be condemned for enjoying evil rather than believing the truth.
Believers Should Stand Firm
13As for us, we can’t help but thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters loved by the Lord. We are always thankful that God chose you to be among the first to experience salvation—a salvation that came through the Spirit who makes you holy and through your belief in the truth. 14He called you to salvation when we told you the Good News; now you can share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15With all these things in mind, dear brothers and sisters, stand firm and keep a strong grip on the teaching we passed on to you both in person and by letter.
16Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, 17comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say.
Paul’s Request for Prayer
1Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you. 2Pray, too, that we will be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone is a believer. 3But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. 4And we are confident in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we commanded you. 5May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.
An Exhortation to Proper Living
6And now, dear brothers and sisters, we give you this command in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ: Stay away from all believers who live idle lives and don’t follow the tradition they received from us. 7For you know that you ought to imitate us. We were not idle when we were with you. 8We never accepted food from anyone without paying for it. We worked hard day and night so we would not be a burden to any of you. 9We certainly had the right to ask you to feed us, but we wanted to give you an example to follow. 10Even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “Those unwilling to work will not get to eat.”
11Yet we hear that some of you are living idle lives, refusing to work and meddling in other people’s business. 12We command such people and urge them in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and work to earn their own living. 13As for the rest of you, dear brothers and sisters, never get tired of doing good.
14Take note of those who refuse to obey what we say in this letter. Stay away from them so they will be ashamed. 15Don’t think of them as enemies, but warn them as you would a brother or sister.
Paul’s Final Greetings
16Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.
17Here is my greeting in my own handwriting—Paul. I do this in all my letters to prove they are from me.
18May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all!

While many of us spend time focusing on news, politics, and the never-ending culture war, the celebration of Christmas offers Christians the opportunity to zoom out and remember that ultimately, our mission should always be spreading the message of salvation, "how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures..." (1 Corinthians 15:3b-4)
Humans are sinful. Simply peruse some news headlines or look into your own heart, the evidence is everywhere. Inherent in the celebration of Christmas is the recognition of our own sinfulness and need of salvation.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
When someone is sick, it is better to treat the cause rather than the symptoms. And by way of analogy, there are many problems in the nation today — from crime, to abortion, to the LGBT agenda, just to name a few — but the root of those problems is human sinfulness, and the gospel treats the disease, not the symptoms.
When someone trusts in Christ's payment for their sins, they are saved from God's wrath and given eternal life. When they make the Bible the foundation of their thinking, their worldview will change. And when more people in the U.S. have their worldview shaped by the Word of God, the country will change for the better.
While proselytizing about politics might get someone to change their mind about political issues, political ideology won't help them when they die. But telling someone about the the gift of salvation that God is offering freely by his grace could change their eternity.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
"The doers of the law will be justified.” (Romans 2:13)
"Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, ‘You have faith, and I have works.’ Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?” (James 2:17-20).
“Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, ‘Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.’ And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.” (James 2:21-24)
