Did you know there is now a new global governance type initiative? It is called the GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE INITIATVE? Javier Solana reported as a global sign of hope in his November 29th Project Syndicate article. The link supplied in his article is bad, but here is a good link to that Initiative. The project is projecting a required investment of $3 Trillion US dollars equivalent ANNUALLY. Query, how will that amount, should their initiative be "successful" be raised? Do you see any way out besides a global tax? I don't!
The leadership looks like a combination of governmental and big business allies. They undoubtedly had a lovely meeting in a posh Rio de Janeiro setting last May, 2014. The event was "by invitation only." GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE INITIATIVE
According to Javier Solana, the GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE INITIATIVE will "will create a Global Infrastructure Hub to serve as a knowledge-sharing platform for governments, the private sector, development banks, and international organizations. . . ."
McKinsey & Company, the consultant/organizer, of the event is a player in another "globalization" scheme: "the internet of things." In 2010 their Quarterly publication posited the advantages of accelerated interconnectedness:
The Internet of Things
More objects are becoming embedded with sensors and gaining the ability to communicate. The resulting information networks promise to create new business models, improve business processes, and reduce costs and risks.
March 2010 | byMichael Chui, Markus Löffler, and Roger RobertsIn most organizations, information travels along familiar routes. Proprietary information is lodged in databases and analyzed in reports and then rises up the management chain. Information also originates externally—gathered from public sources, harvested from the Internet, or purchased from information suppliers.
But the predictable pathways of information are changing: the physical world itself is becoming a type of information system. In what’s called the Internet of Things, sensors and actuators embedded in physical objects—from roadways to pacemakers—are linked through wired and wireless networks, often using the same Internet Protocol (IP) that connects the Internet. These networks churn out huge volumes of data that flow to computers for analysis. When objects can both sense the environment and communicate, they become tools for understanding complexity and responding to it swiftly. What’s revolutionary in all this is that these physical information systems are now beginning to be deployed, and some of them even work largely without human intervention.
Pill-shaped microcameras already traverse the human digestive tract and send back thousands of images to pinpoint sources of illness. Precision farming equipment with wireless links to data collected from remote satellites and ground sensors can take into account crop conditions and adjust the way each individual part of a field is farmed—for instance, by spreading extra fertilizer on areas that need more nutrients. Billboards in Japan peer back at passersby, assessing how they fit consumer profiles, and instantly change displayed messages based on those assessments.
Cognizant Reports has issued an on line available report on the "Internet of Things". You may obtain it from clicking here.
McKinsey & Company claims an alumni of upwards of 30,000 networked throughout the world. Not bad for a company started by accountants in Chicago, Illinois in 1926 -- at the time that the world was being prepared for a "messianic" figure named Jiddhu Krishnamurti -- a dream that did not pan out for the Theosophists and their fellow travelers. I do not yet know for certain if there were connections between the various occult networks and this firm, but I do know that many of their aims, proposed methods, and aspirations are the same. McKinsey & Company is BIG and as their website proudly proclaims:
According to a Wikipedia article on the business, it has a highly secretive culture that is "almost like a religion" among its members and adherents:When James O. McKinsey founded McKinsey in 1926, he could not have imagined the reach his small firm would eventually have. Eighty-five years later, the firm has grown into a global partnership serving two-thirds of the Fortune 1000.
A 1993 profile story in Fortune Magazine said McKinsey & Company was “the most well-known, most secretive, most high-priced, most prestigious, most consistently successful, most envied, most trusted, most disliked management consulting firm on earth.”[20] According to BusinessWeek the firm is "ridiculed, reviled, or revered depending on one's perspective."[68]McKinsey's culture has often been compared to religion, because of the influence, loyalty and zeal of its members.[56][62] Fortune Magazine said partners talk to each other with "a sense of personal affection and admiration."[20] An article in The News Observer said McKinsey's internal culture was "collegiate and ruthlessly competitive" and is sometimes described as arrogant.[55] The Wall Street Journal said McKinsey is seen as “elite, loyal and secretive.”[58] According to Reuters it has a "button-down culture" focused on “playing by the rules”.[69] According to BusinessWeek, “some observers” say that McKinsey has started to lose touch with its founding principles and become less personal as its size has increased.[44] The Guardian said at McKinsey “hours are long, expectations high and failure not acceptable.”[65] Fortune and USA Today both noted that the majority of McKinsey's consultants are white men.[20][63]
Well, I've just learned and plan to study more about this significant globalization initiative which might well ultimately affect both our pocketbooks and freedoms. It decidedly is "on the move" while we seem to focus on "news" more often bordering on soap operas. I'm keeping a wary eye on it. You should too.
Stay tuned!

"Management consultancy" is complete bullshit. OK there are a few distinctive distress patterns that failing companies exhibit and that their executives, who might not have been in a failing company before, will not recognise whereas a trained MC will. But you can get a lot of that from the balance sheet and annual reports, and above all MCs do not take financial responsibility for their advice as they go in, get paid and get out again; they have no skin in the game. This makes their advice fairly worthless. Their fees are also huge and can be a significant drain on a company. Their main function is to be commissioned to recommend, apparently impartially, the restructuring that the Chief Executive wants to make but his subordinates don't.
ReplyDeleteConstance - may I ask. Might there have been a techie reason that my recent post isn't appearing or was it an editorial decision to remove it from the comments?

My Solana articles on Blessed Quietness Journal were looking moldy, and I only left them up because I figured Solana would be an interesting antique. Now, here is the beggar leading the world to Nirvana again. The master of flattery (premier tool of AC) is going to hit the world for trillions, and the world gets peace and comfort in exchange. What a sell job!
ReplyDeleteSo, I need to update my own articles on this rascal. He seems too old to be AC, but he sure is still in the game. Have you ever learned if he has Jewish roots? Any article on that on your blog?
UPDATE FROM THE EU - Might we be seeing the birth of a single global currency & taxation?
ReplyDeleteAround the globe small and soloprenteurs of digital goods/services are (in the 11th hour) discovering for the first time that they have less than four weeks left to comply with the new EU VAT laws on digital services which come into effect on January 1st 2015. It has come like a bolt out of the blue and already we're starting to hear some of small and start-up businesses within the EU say they will have to close down. Others from the US and rest of world, selling into the EU are saying they will probably decide to stop sales to EU countries rather than try to comply with the data collection requirements and tax registration and payment system.
Rita de la Feria is respected by tax folk around the world and writes the following review clearly explaining the history and planned future for the new EU wide taxation on e-services which includes books, downloads and much more and the future plans to extend this to physical goods.

It's a harsh ruling which has been in planning for many years. http://www.internationaltaxreview.com/Article/3099230/New-group-gives-fresh-impetus-to-future-of-VAT-in-EU.html
The passing of this through parliament and media reporting has always focussed on it being introduced to stop multinational corporations that trade online - such as Amazon or Google - from diverting all their European sales through low-VAT countries. Hidden in the EU paperwork it becomes clear that instead of levelling the playing field it will drive many SMEs to the multinationals.

This new tax on digital services means sellers, large, small and micro, across the globe will have to register, collect and pay taxes on sales of all digital goods and services into EU countries. Yes!!! If I was to purchase one of your digital books from a website you owned, You would have to register with the EU MOSS and pay the 20% tax because I'm in the UK. (Selling through Amazon is ok as Amazon collect the VAT).
It's very complicated. Looks like global taxing. MPs and MEPs here in the UK are washing their hands of this and saying it's the EU Commission!

CONSTANCE - Thanks, I did wonder if maybe the techie stuff put me there. I've updated the info and successfully posted so the post could be deleted.
ReplyDeleteThe more I innocently look into this "paradigm shift" in taxation (as I now know that's what it's being called) that's happening over here in the EU, the more I am seeing that's been a global plan for a long time. The EU haven't made this up by themselves, they've been in discussions with the Tax Executives Institution from Washington and all sorts of others.
I'm sure anyone with a taxation background will understand this much better than myself.

EU VAT 2015 - here's an interesting web page. Nearly (if not) all of the reccommendations by the TEI in May 2011 are included in the new 2015 EU VAT law.
ReplyDeleteThe Tax Executives Institute (TEI) has submitted comments on the European Commission's Green Paper on the future of the VAT in the European Union.
http://www.ustaxai.com/tax-articles/2011/6/4/tax-executives-institute-comments-on-european-union-vat-regi.html
Does anyone know who the TEI are and why they could be influencing EU tax laws like this. Is this standard taxation laws practise?
~ K ~
If, K, Constance does not register with the EU tax authorities when you buy an e-book direct from her, what happens next, since EU law does not hold in the USA? The American authorities zare not gong to extradite her, but perhaps she would be unable to visit the EU without risk.
ReplyDeleteThe USA currently taxes US companies on their worldwide profits even though some of those profits are reinvested abroad in the subsidiary that made them.
Don't trust the powerful anywhere!
TEI - no idea and presumably any expert with connections to the people who run the EU could put in comments.
ReplyDeleteconvenience being important, this positions amazon nicely since you don't have to do any paperwork or shift money, the tax is taken out before you get your royalty.
global currency - you guys seem to think Europe is the world. I guess Europe does also. Take a look at the BRICS move away from the petro dollar, when smaller countries like Lybia tried this they get taken down, but Russia, China, India, Brazil and now others on board are not some small thing that can be bullied. Probably the Ukraine putsch the CIA pulled was an ill advised effort along this line but if we get WW 3 because of this it is not going to turn out well for us.
While the ac could be european in origin, he has to arise out of something that is a serious middle eastern presence before he appears, as per Daniel 7. A good case can be made that he will be of Syrian extraction, since that was the Legion 10 that destroyed the Temple against Titus' wishes. If you argue the people refers to the element under whose authority they acted, ergo Roman, Rome was not just Europe, and ac could arise out of Europe, Turkey, the Middle East or north Africa.
Solana however may reflect an occultic element that expects to be able to bring this about from europe, being as blinded by eurocentricsm as those who oppose ac often are. I wouldn't dismiss him as irrelevant rather, his connections and goals needs looking at and monitoring, like he is the shark fin breaking the water.
What role if any people connected to him have in the Kievan putsch might be of interest. those people are openly nazi.
The B and the S in BRICS can be ignored. So can India today although it's on the up. Russia has a pretty small economy relative to the USA, but has arms. China counts and will do so more. But we should be a lot more worried about the US economy self-destructing than about others doing it harm.
ReplyDeleteIf USA economy can't handle other countries using their own currencies to pay each other for oil instead of dollars, something is wrong with the USA economy in the first place.
ReplyDeleteBRICS should not be ignored because they are a rising economic power, neither should they be undermined, it is none of our business. the petrodollar thing is part of the NWO which, let's face it, IS the american empire. by and large.
BRICS should be adapted to like we expect others to adapt to us. What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Russia has one big advantage over the US, its people aren't as habitually dependent on soft living enhanced by gadgets.
BRICS should be viewed as a counterbalance to the unipolar power scene, itself inherently undesirable for all the reasons a one world govt. is undesirable, though perhaps in a more dilute way.
I get a sneaking suspicion some people here wouldn't mind a one world govt. as long as it was run out of Washington.
Constance,
ReplyDeleteCheck out the November 30, 2014 post at: www.tedmontgomery.com/remarks.html
The post discusses the possibility of a 5 year gap between the first 3 1/2 years of the 70th week of Daniel and the second 3 1/2 years. The ENPI is mentioned in the post as possibly still relevant to the 70th week.
"Prophetic events that are expected to take place at the beginning of the final 3½ years are as follows:
ReplyDeletethe cessation of sacrifice and offering (Daniel 9:27b)"
stop right there. what sacrifice and offering? That already happened in AD 70. Or, it might be revived in the temple some want to build, so it can't happen until that happens. Or it might refer to the Eucharistic sacrifice (of the bread and wine to God Who makes it into The Body and Blood of Christ and it is offered to Him and partaken of by us) being stopped because of an effective destruction of churches and those who have either apostolic succession and ordination. These are all the three interpretations I have found.
you could argue sacrifice and offering could incl. praise and prayer to God, praise being a sacrifice also, but this would mean no Christians left praying who actually believe not just go through the motions. This couldn't get done in such a short time.
In any case, whatever this means, however bad an idea this ENPI may be, it isn't to do with the 70th week.
The prophecy is so mysterious people can't even figure out the last seven years and posit a gap already, and now a new gap is posited. Perhaps we should leave this whole 70th week thing out of computation until we receive enough wisdom. Daniel was told his book or perhaps only part of it was sealed until the times of the end.
While we should be always watchful, blaring that The Bible says Russia will invade Israel in the 1970s or the antichrist is around the corner and something or other will happen in a set time frame and it doesn't happen, merely makes people disbelieve The Bible instead of disbelieving the interpreters and rechecking The Bible.
Such speculations and pronouncements have been with us since the Reformation and earlier. They should be treated with caution.
"The angel Gabriel told Daniel that, pertaining to Daniel’s people (Israel) and his holy city (Jerusalem), seventy “sevens” or “weeks” of years were decreed for the completion of specific events (Daniel 9:24), most or all of which have not yet taken place."
ReplyDeletewell, I guess we can write Ted off as ignorant both of The Bible and history because MOST OF IT HAS TAKEN PLACE, specifically the Incarnation and Crucifixion and Resurrection, and this time table limits the possibility of the Messiah coming the first time, to the Roman times. The remaining stuff may have taken place involving Bar Kochba's rebellion (he claimed at one point to be the messiah), and that would be a dry run regarding antichrist perhaps, or it may indeed have to do with the future, since Revelation speaks of a three and a half year persecution. And Daniel relates strongly to Revelation on several points.
I keep hearing about a seven year tribulation, no such thing, it is a three and a half year tribulation, it would be nice if these prophecy experts actually read The Bible once in a while and I don't mean a few verses out of context here and there.
The biggest laugh is the so called hammer prophecy the British Israel and Christian Identity crew like to say refers to Israel, when in fact it refers to the Medes and Persians in Jeremiah, and these were in existence before northern Israel was deported by Assyria. CONTEXT.

ReplyDeleteDear ~K~
ReplyDeleteYou have probably already seen and/or read this, but here is an ugly legal chronology of the Tax Executives Institute filing "requested" complaints on virtually all European countries. From my preliminary research, thanks to your alerts, it appears that McKinsey & Company are thoroughly intertwined in this business. Those preparing the complaint against the EU countries are Washington, D.C. signatories.
I'm reading THE FIRM. McKinsey & Company believe they conquered Europe years ago. That company operated with a relative young, arrogant, and aggressive youth culture which cultivated university sources, particularly Harvard, and employed an "up or out" mentality, but also shrewdly employed out placements so as to have a grateful alumni of corps loyal to "The Firm." The whole thing reminds me of the John Grisham book about a controlling law firm also ironically named THE FIRM.
Here is the tiny url to the "legal complaint" filed by TAX EXECUTIVES INSTITUTE against the various European countries for VAT registration "failures."

The Tax Executives and Aspen Institute also have substantial ties.
It might be productive to research a role that TAX EXECUTIVES INSTITUTE will be playing with the GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE INITIATIVE. If they expect to raise their projected needed $3 trillion annual revenue, you can bet the TEI folk are there helping them decide how to structure an obviously needed GLOBAL TAX!!!
Constance
yes its serious for the businesses affected. global? hardly. all it does is potentially isolate EU (which is a tiny part of the globe) and shut down businesses within it not up to paying the tax.
ReplyDeleteThat sort of consolidation of power by big businesses who can pay the tax on time, is probably what this is all about.
Global currency? that is what the petrodollar was for a while. and that is what the gold bugs want.
"Around the globe small and soloprenteurs of digital goods/services are (in the 11th hour) discovering for the first time that they have less than four weeks left to comply with the new EU VAT laws on digital services which come into effect on January 1st 2015. yes this is very serious, especially for people who have something worthwhile to get into European minds. perhaps you will have to distribute the information for free or put it into hard copy.
Amazon is ably positioned here, and it and google are positioned in an interesting eco imperialistic way.
For hard copy, there are publishers whether amazon or others who will take an electronic upload, and will print out only when an order comes in, so there is no storage of inventory, and this greatly decreases their cost, the resulting book price maybe and increases your royalty.
my comments are not rambling speculation they are close on detailed analysis. Hitler was a dry run that failed according to Bailey's husband whatsisname. Solana may have been an even bigger failure. But reading The Bible in context doesn't really give europe anything but a slight maybe as a source for the antichrist.
That doesn't mean this isn't important in its own right, or that occultists aren't aiming to do something like this. But you don't need global currency to prohibit anyone not having the right tag to engage in buying and selling in any currency of any kind. you don't need electronic enforcement. It might help, but you don't need it. It would be a secret ac worshipping occultist's wet dream, but it probably won't happen.
we will probably have bombed ourselves into the stone age before it happens. think tattoos and branding. Gog Magog war results in weapons left by invaders being burned. Hellooo? modern weapons don't burn as fire wood. (not only that but Gog Magog war is specifically after the Second Coming, read Revelation beyond the preferred verses) though there might be a dry run of similar nature before that.
Daniel 7 shows the antichrist arising from among the rulers of an empire that has yet to even exist. Daniel 7 cannot be a mere rehash of the statue dream, because there is no need for it, and it segues into the Second Coming and last judgement, unlike the statue dream.
Fight all this totalitarian stuff and economic enslavement tooth and nail, yes.
Links exist between the Aspen Institute and the Theosophical movements. The Bauhaus architectural movement -- one of the primary Theosophical/"Utopian" European fronts was the inspiration for the Aspen Institute. According to the Architectural Digest:
ReplyDeleteThe Aspen Institute, founded in 1950, was the brainchild of Chicago natives Elizabeth and Walter Paepcke as an ideal gathering place in the picturesque Colorado landscape for thinkers, leaders, artists, and musicians to converge. A forum where people from all walks of life could congregate and reflect on the underlying values of society and culture. In 1945 the Paepckes enlisted the multitalented Austrian artist and architect Herbert Bayer, widely regarded as the last master of Germany’s famed Bauhaus group, to design a postwar version of a modern utopia utilizing the architectural vocabulary of European Modernism. The campus, completed in 1949, would fuse the disciplines of graphic design, typography, photography and photomontage, architecture, landscape, and interior design.

I met a girl very into Bauhaus many years ago, 1993, when I never heard of it, she struck me as almost not there I don't mean out of it nuts something else, a kind of...hard to describe it. Aside from being small and delicate physically, she seemed too withdrawn yet not withdrawn, too vague in a way I can't describe it. Maybe it was something to do with the Bauhaus spiritual influence?

that jumped off the page at the top before I got to reading anything else.
the idea that technological advance means spiritual advance, well, what kind of spiritual "advance" in what direction are we talking about?
war has always jump started technology.
As someone put it, the most technologically advanced country on earth in the 1930s-1940s was Nazi Germany.
Needless to say, the WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM is also tied up in all of this GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE INITIATIVE business. McKinsey & Company is running the GII show with the "partnership" of ABRAAJ group and Madeline Albright's ALBRIGHT STRONEBRIDGE GROUP. Madeline Albright is and for many years has been very close to Javier Solana. She is the one who pronounced back in 1999 that "Solana has the power and has had it since January 30th" referring to his unusual grant of power to make ALL military decisions for NATO over KOSOVO and YUGOSLAVIAN bombing decisions.
ReplyDeleteNow as the GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE INITIATIVE and MCKINSEY COMPANY are looking at potentially trillions of dollars of business, this is BIG BUSINESS which will require the type of close tabs on everything and everybody that only a tightly connected INTERNET OF THINGS and INTERNET OF EVERYTHING could potentially deliver.

These statements are the result of years of reading so I can't just give you one or two URLs google the subject matter and find out. yeah, if its functional and helps man or animal it is lowwww. right? wrong. but that's how they think.
Even the Holy Temple of YHWH was functional - it provided varying degrees of access and functions relating to that.
but functional is so.....materialistic. Remember the core concept of all the gnostic heresies? the unworthiness and evil of mere physical matter and that God couldn't have created THAT stuff.
push this far enough and you have radical depopulation, only keep enough alive to serve the interests of the gnostic or neo gnostic elite till they can figure out how to live without normal human functionality, and they can kill even those remaining off. Transhumanism, anyone?
The main prerequisite for being a publicity consulting firm, would be a complete lack of any moral considerations or sense of public decency, otherwise known as anti social thinking.

his body was riddled by more than a dozen bullet wounds. He had been
taken from his home by several armed men who identified themselves as

Turkey reaps the benefits of U.S. friendship and Most Favored Nation

and spent more than $3.8 million on Washington lobbyists to keep that

cooperative role in NATO, and its support for Operation Desert Storm;
it bought its relatively benign public image with cold cash. Turkey's
favorite Washington public relations and lobbying firm is Hill and

1992. Other chronic human rights abusers, such as China, Peru, Israel,
Egypt, and Indonesia, also retained Hill and Knowlton to the tune of
$14 million in 1991-92. Hill and Knowlton has also represented the
infamously repressive Duvalier regime in Haiti....
Over the years, Hill and Knowlton and Robert Gray have been implicated

ReplyDelete"Weapons being burned" could very well refer to the burning of chemical weapons which we all hope is actually going on right now, silly."
you wouldn't say this if you had read the passage. It speaks of the weapons being collected and burned AS FIREWOOD,
Ezekiel 39:9, 10 context, the Gog Magog war of chapter 38, you need to read everything before and after a preferred verse to read, not just that one and speculations of generations of self appointed prophecy experts. Here it is.
"And they that dwell i the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire burn the weapons, boththe shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the hand-staves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:
"SO THAT THEY SHALL TAKE NO WOOD OUT OF THE FIELD, NEITHER CUT DOWN ANY OUT OF THE FORESTS; FOR THEY SHALL BURN THE WEAPONS WITH FIRE:...."
This is the sort of very specific stuff that is ignored or "spiritualized" away at some peril.
I gather that you people's idea of reading your bibles is to read along with the preacher to be sure he reads that part right, and nothing else.
Attempts to read modern warfare into Scripture, where the context and DETAILS do not allow this, is eisegesis, not exegesis. Same for efforts to read some monsters in Revelation as apache helicopters - yeah, right, like helicopters have hair like women.
I suppose you have no idea what I'm talking about go read ALL of Revelation at one sitting and you will find it.

ReplyDelete"I gather that you people's idea of reading your bibles..."
ReplyDelete...there is her 'you people' attitude of pontificating again.
When I read the Revelation text all in one sitting, I see some of the events are parenthetical and parallel to what is going on in a chapter. And my pastor did not teach that to me.
Just who do you think you are Christine to tell us what we know or do not know and how we arrived at our understanding?
You make yourself unwelcome, Christine. And what is more, because you make yourself an issue, you subtract from this blog instead of add to it.
And does not stop you from multiple postings either.

ReplyDeletePLEASE bar Christine from this blog. To ~K~ and others knowledgeable about the EU VAT situation:
ReplyDeleteJavier Solana in the same November 29th article praising the GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE INITIATIVE as a hopeful sign also referenced new developments on the World Trade Organization's Information Technology Agreement and an agreement between many states to limit tariffs and duties on such products. ReplyDeleteMy limited understanding is that what we see happening was tried to get off the ground back in the '80s.
The EU have been working on the VAT system ... the OECD like it and have written the BEPS ACTION PLAN http://www.oecd.org/ctp/BEPSActionPlan.pdf
The EU have been focussed on base erosion and the UK budget speech yesterday said that 'stuff' (excuse me for not knowing the details) has begun on profit shifting law changes.
Apparently the US, Canada and other G20 countries are working on changes as the G20 countries have agreed on implementing the plan.
It is indeed very serious.

ReplyDeleteGobbels propaganda is alive in the USA. I am sure he was a theosophist as was his buddy Hitler.
While I agree that the Global Infrastructure Initiative, the Internet of Things, and other things brought up in this thread about the EU, Solana, etc, are important and need to be watched, I also see a separate and parallel-in-time threat from the SCO alliance (Shanghai Cooperation Organization). WW3 is on our doorstep, and we worry about how much Solana will increase our taxes.
ReplyDeleteFor most of us, these two arenas of threats are mutually exclusive - most of us focus on the one, and forget about the other one. But they can both be threats that need to be watched.
Suppose Solana and the World Tax and all that stuff really starts to grow some legs and some major announcements are made regarding global government, etc. That would cause a lot of concern, and rightly so. You and your friends begin discussing some actions you and your families can take to begin the process of "going underground" or whatever.
But then, soon after that, you wake up some morning, and discover that some time during the night, your power went off, and you overslept. You try to call your brother (because you were smart and kept a land line), but the line is dead. "Ah!" you think to yourself, "I have a battery-powered radio!" So you get that out, turn it on, and it seems to be working, well, until you tune around and don't hear anything. No stations at all. Nothing on AM, nothing on FM, nothing on Shortwave.
A sinking feeling hits you as you wonder what in the world is going on.
What has happened is that in the middle of the night, two nuclear missiles were launched from submarines that had sneaked into waters just off the American coast - one off the east coast, one off the west. They arched inward, high over the Eastern US and the Western US, and detonated, several hundred miles high. The EMP from the detonations immediately destroyed the entire electrical grid, and many electronic and electrical devices, across the entire continental US.
After finding this out over the next few days, it seems that the second threat of the Russia-China gang is now the more worrisome, and you alter plans again, preparing for a possible invasion of enemy forces.
But a few days later, a third thing happens. It shocks you to the core. You see something strange in the sky, and hear - in your mind, in your ears - an "announcement" that "We have come to help you....don't be afraid...."
------
On the last thread, someone mentioned that aliens stepping out of a spaceship would be a likely scenario for ushering in the New Age. More and more, I think it HAS to be something like that, because each threat I introduced at the beginning does not seem likely BY THEMSELVES to do so, since they are so at odds with each other, and the second threat - War - always has a way of messing up the plans of the Utopians (the first threat), because, well, we just haven't figured out yet how to change human nature. And we never will, but some will try, leading to the largest holocaust the world has ever experienced - the attempt to usher in a New Age.

You posted at 12:29 am the following:
Well, it looks like the "revolution in the streets" aspect of the New Age Movement I have been observing the past 33 years is in progress and being televised on CNN.
When I see the protests going on, I have a different response. I see the "revolution in the streets" aspect of the worldwide Communist revolution and all the Marxist / Communist infiltrators and sympathizers who are orchestrating these events. (See this article: http://noisyroom.net/blog/2014/11/30/the-movers-and-shakers-behind-the-ferguson-riots/.) The Communist Party USA and other communist front organizations are heavily involved in the protests. They are also involved in doing what they can to cause racial strife, and cause other divisions between different groups along racial, economic, political and religious lines, so that we become a nation divided, and even a nation that spirals into a civil war of some kind. This has always been their plan. Once we are busy with internal chaos, they will attack.
How are the plans of the New Agers tied in with the plans of the communist worldwide revolution, which continues on (in spite of our wishes otherwise) after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of the Soviet Union? Is there even a tie-in?
I really do not see the New Ager's hands as the main organizers of what is going on. Of course there is the Anonymous/Occupy bunch.... for me the jury is still out on whether those people are more infiltrated by Communists or by New Agers. Maybe it's both. Maybe somehow they are two different aspects of the same Satanic plan to destroy Christianity, the West, and all who purportedly are "Christian", even by trying to obtain the moral high ground by pasting the "Christian" label over grotesque figures like Putin.
Do you think that's possible (two different aspects of the same evil plans)?
If so, that is why some people (I think) are laughing at the idea that Solana and the EU is even relevant anymore. I tend to laugh at it - Europe is not going to fend off any army from Russia or China or Iran or some combination thereof should they happen to invade, no matter who is in charge.
Dear 7:46 AM,
ReplyDeleteThe influence and long arm of Solana are still in play. He is very useful in all things that pave the way for global plans implementation. At the very least he is the best at global cheerleading, but though somewhat underground, he may yet prove to be much more than that. So I for one will continue to watch him, if for no other reason, than how he stays close to any and all who are cutting edge in making it a totally global world whether in the social and cultural realm, in the political and economic realm, and also the scientific and religious realm. (We shall see if he gets the plum)...'Little Jack Horner' is in his corner with his thumb in every pie.....
Anon 11:14....
ReplyDeleteMay I ask: If WW3 breaks out, doesn't Solana and all his plans become irrelevant? If not, how are they still something to be concerned about?
Marko,
ReplyDeleteHowever it plays out, the prophetic schedule is still on track and the global plan and it's man at the helm for the purpose of working hell's agenda during the great tribulation part of earth's history will be carried out, wars and all.
We are still looking through a glass darkly but more light is shining on these events everyday.
It is by faith that we wait on God, to see how He moves to allow or disallow, what is in the very near future. That is why we keep his playbook (the bible and it's prophecies which is roughly 1/3 of it) in the front of our thinking to see how people, places, and things, will line up just as he has already told us.
Anon 12:03....
ReplyDeleteAgree with everything you said.
I just like to propose views of how things will play out that challenge the "accepted wisdom", whether that's here, or on other discussion boards. We all need to be open to changing our views to what God is revealing as events unfold, keeping His Word at front and center, as you stated.
Anon 11:14
ReplyDeleteYour entitled to your opinion but I disagree strongly. Solana has been around for many years. He's had his day. Those days are gone.
At one time he was one to watch and that was awhile ago. He WAS tool that was used very effectively.
Quite honestly, most people are very hip to Solana's ways and what he has done, and what he can't do anymore.
Constance is one of the only ones that keeps harping on Solana and, I don't think it is because she is on to something. I think it is still an obsession with her and hard for her to understand that she was wrong, he is not the AC or the Beast. Just a tool that satan used, and one of MANY that helped/will help usher in the man of sin.
The man of sin is NOT Solana and it would be nice if Constance and her small group of fans would just get over it and focus on the real players right before our eyes.
Marko, While USA communists are no doubt involved -- they have been involved in just about every protest movement in the 20th Century and beyond -- the OCCUPY MOVEMENT is a major player. The OCCUPY MOVEMENT enjoys major NEW AGE funding: TIDES FOUNDATION; SOROS, etc. The organization has come from the OCCUPY MOVEMENT -- check their websites and WND articles, etc. Look at the signs at some of the riots/protests: GREEN PARTY; "Occupy Earth" -- There are significant differences between the New Agers and Marxists although some times there has been collaboration. Right now, as I see it, world communism is weakened because the Chinese and Russians both are enjoying too much capitalism. Both sides would have interests in suppression of religion -- Communist and New Age -- Putin has his faults and big aspirations, but right now I don't see him as anti-God although my friend Cliff Kincaid disagrees with me. The New Agers and LGBT Movement hate Putin for his insistence that pedophiles and homosexuals not be allowed to propagandize Russian children whereas in the USA currently, we are making it illegal to protect our children from same.

Wow! "The Ashoka Nine" spoken of by Rajneesh as those who produced and directed Hitler! "Such as do wickedly against the Covenant, shall he corrupt by flatteries" -- BOOK OF DANIEL. Here Drayton is busy at Marquette University where as I recall I spoke at least twice, maybe thrice in the 1980s. Here Drayton who probably put plenty of money on the table to corrupt that tells all that "he is a Jesuit and everybody can be a Jesuit" and defines a good Jesuit in all terms but obedience and service to God. What a corruption by flattery!

As I have always said, your guess as to the AC's idenity is as good as mine. Clearly, as Herb Peters and I found. Solana was an EDUCATED GUESS. Whether he is or not, I don't know. I certainly have not been "harping" on him -- but given his great and acknowledged pre-eminence in global governance circles, I certainly watch him. When he talks about an important governmental governance issue such as GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE INITIATIVE, I would be foolish not to pay attention. When I see that the organizers of the same are his close personal friends, I watch even closer. The fact that the proposed initiative and McKinsey & Company are talking in terms of "internet of everything" and $3 Trillion dollar a year budget for their proposed "initiative" bears the very closest of watching.
ReplyDeleteSo, dear nasty one, you may go back to sleep on these issues if you want, but I advise you and the others to KEEP WATCHING. Unless, of course, you have a trillion or two to casually toss around.
Whoever it was to end up being, per the prophet Daniel, would trample the whole world underfoot. Whoever is going to do that will need a heck of a big budget.
Constancew
Constance,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your reply!
I guess I'm more in Cliff Kincaid's camp than yours, regarding Putin's anti-God status. He (along with Russian KGB in general) are masters in the art of deception, and the West believes what it wants to believe about him, instead of what really is.
"Capitalism" in China and Russia are another facade that the West wants to believe in, and while it certainly is better than it was during the Cold War, the only reason they went in that direction was to siphon capital from the West to build up their armies and navies so they can come back and attack us another day. A day which, incidentally, is fast approaching. I don't believe either is as weak as you or I would wish. They are students of Sun Tzu's "The Art of War", where he said "When weak, appear strong, and when strong, appear weak", with the intention of winning the war through deception.
Groups like the Tides Foundation and people like Soros have ties to both New Agers AND Communists / Marxists, so that is what makes it so difficult to follow some of this stuff. I think it safe to say that Soros is an enemy of all that you and I hold dear no matter which glasses you look at him with.
There are differences between Communism and New Age, but there are also some deep connections spiritually and philosophically, most notably Gnosticism, which I think Susanna has covered here quite extensively and quite well. One could just as easily write a book called "The Gnostic Roots of Marxism" as one called "The Gnostic Roots of the New Age Movement", and be correct with both.
Thanks again, Constance, for your feedback.
The right 'crisis' will put those even on opposite ends of the spectrum all on the same page (even if in name only and for a time) in the coming global order. And there may be 'allowances' for some as long as they sign on the dotted line.
ReplyDelete12:53 PM you are entitled to your opinion too. But it is because Solana has, in the past (but right up to the present), been the very one with true initiative and so-called expertise (much acclaimed and rewarded) to the globalist order, that I do not see him passed by. This thing has lurched and lunged, teetered and tumbled, on it's path but make no mistake, the direction and the discipline needed is how he still speaks, leads, and charges ahead for the fledglings to follow in a multitude of forums. No one has equaled his zeal, even at his age, to get this thing off the ground, in my take on him, but what is more he is still the single most globally connected man ever. Who else in the international world was personally invited when Iran's latest president was installed as one for instance? He is the globalist's globalist and in the right 'crisis' he will be called upon in some capacity. Follow his footsteps and it will lead us to whomever will take the top stop. And yes, this is speculation on my part, but these hunches are not without precedent and at least some working knowledge of scripture but I am only watching. I also get the feeling we'll all see this more clearly before long with 2015 right around the bend.
Constance
ReplyDeleteWhy must I be a dear nasty one?
Because I think that you are obsessed with Solana?
That makes me nasty?
You are the one that is not watching some important people and events. You still seem to be stuck on the usual suspects not willing to open your eyes.
You have some good info sometimes but I have been reluctant to follow since you were busted many years ago using different IP addresses and anonymous edits on Wiki to try and MAKE Solana fit your views.
Does this also make me nasty? Because I have a different opinion and don't treat your word like its law?

United States House Select Committee to Investigate Tax-Exempt Foundations and Comparable Organizations
The Select Committee to Investigate Tax-Exempt Foundations and Comparable Organizations was an investigative committee of the United States House of Representatives between 1952 and 1954.[1] The committee was originally created by House Resolution 561 during the 82nd Congress. The committee investigated the use of funds by tax-exempt organizations (non-profit organizations) to see if they were being used to support communism. The committee was alternatively known as the Cox Committee and the Reece Committee after its two chairmen, Edward E. Cox and B. Carroll Reece.
History[edit]
In April 1952, the Select Committee to Investigate Tax-Exempt Foundations and Comparable Organizations (or just the Cox Committee Investigation), led by Edward E. Cox, of the House of Representatives began an investigation of the "educational and philanthropic foundations and other comparable organizations which are exempt from federal taxes to determine whether they were using their resources for the purposes for which they were established, and especially to determine which such foundations and organizations are using their resources for un-American activities and subversive activities or for purposes not in the interest or tradition of the United States."

ReplyDeleteIn the fall of 1952 all foundations with assets of $10 million or more received a questionnaire covering virtually every aspect of their operations. The foundations cooperated willingly. In the committee's final report, submitted to Congress in January 1953, endorsed the loyalty of the foundations. "So far as we can ascertain, there is little basis for the belief expressed in some quarters that foundation funds are being diverted from their intended use," the report said.
Unhappy with the Cox Committee's conclusions, Rep. Reece pushed for a continuation of its work. In April 1954, the House authorized the Reece Committee. Unlike its predecessor, which limited its attention to generalities, the Reece Committee mounted a comprehensive inquiry into both the motives for establishing foundations and their influence on public life. The investigative inquiry was headed by Norman Dodd, a former banker and bank manager and business man ...read more

Engels was the Capitalist, or illuminated business man who funded the front man, Marx the common Satan worshiper, making him a Lucifarian as are most of the enlightened internationalists such as UN people and Lucis Trust. Literally, same sh*&. Alinsky was a common Lucifarian as well and probably cursed the Chicago archdiocese where he had an office for 20 years before being properly removed and sadly picked up by Notre Dame, hence the child abuse and this sort of thing-Chicago Bishops for gay marriage etc. One has to be an ordained Catholic Priest before he can be a satanic priest...so I hear. Satan being the enemy, any evil thing or opponent and thus reports to the top dog, Lucifer. New age -age of what ever is simply Lucifer's one world ruled by the system of a satanic cult, this form of governance is Marxism in it's purest form. The trick is that Marx claims to be for the 'people' owning the means of production BUT the oligarchy of corporations owns the government so the little guy never gets any power. Corporate fascism is Marxism is Satanism is Lucifarianism, Welcome to the new age of the new world order.

It is called THE ENEMY WITHIN. Many thanks to Suzanne for bringing this material to our attention.

Suzanne - Thanks so much for posting the video link. I enjoyed watching Norman Dodd very much and found it all extremely interesting.
ReplyDeleteIn the video Norman mentioned Guggenheim, (whom I had to google and then found most interesting) they have four art museums across the world and a global investment and advisory firm with more than $220 billion* in assets under management.
Art Museum - Carmen Giménez is/was the Stephen and Nan Swid Curator of Twentieth-Century Art at the Guggenheim. Before coming to the Guggenheim Museum, Giménez served as Executive Advisor to the Spanish Minister of Culture, Javier Solana, from 1983 to 1989. http://www.guggenheim.org/new-york/press-room/news/3077?tmpl=component and museum http://www.guggenheim.org/bilbao/history
The art museum turns up in EC searches - http://tinyurl.com/nytysqq
FYI - Javier Solana likes to tweet! https://twitter.com/javiersolana
In light of what Norman said in the video, of the interests in warfare back around 1908, it was interesting to read in the 2010 Guggenheim Report that the Guttenheim President says, "Finally, the foundation intends to begin a new program, this coming year, in grants to scholars and students of military history and the history of war. As many as five such awards will be made annually ... http://www.hfg.org/ar/hfg2010.pdf

Finance - In 2000, a great grandson of Meyer Guggenheim, Peter Lawson-Johnston Sr., decided that it was time for the Guggenheims to get back to work. With $30 million of family money, he helped found Guggenheim Partners, a boutique financial company modeled on the Wall Street partnerships of old.
http://guggenheimpartners.com/
Peter Lawson-Johnston Jr., plays a day-to-day role in the business. A fresh-faced man of 54, he splits his time between the office in Manhattan and another in Connecticut, advising on real estate and generally playing ambassador to potential clients. The firm initially focused on managing money for the wealthy, and it has made some savvy moves. Before many on Wall Street caught on to the frauds at Enron, Tyco and WorldCom, Guggenheim was steering clients away. “We recommended selling Enron very early on.”

Javier Solana tweeted about some of Bill Drayton's work as "fantastico trabajo social" (fantastic social work?)

All financial problems come back to Fractional Reserve Banking (FRB), ie allowing banks, whether a government-run central bank or others (ie people with a secure vault facility) who are licensed by government, loan out more money than they hold. That is the original pact between finance and politics. Then they have the effrontery to charge interest on the money (NOT wealth) they have invented when they loan it out.
ReplyDeleteBankers are permitted to print money. But what happens if we try it?
Many believe FRB is the root cause of business cycles of boom and bust. The original FRB was when rulers made it simpler for their people to use precious metals as currency by guaranteeing its purity and weight by having their seal stamped on coins of certain sizes. But then rulers started mixing in base metal and insisting that the coin still had the same value. The people might compensate for this by charging higher prices to the ruler for goods and services, so as still to get the same amount of precious metal, but the ruler then works his funny money into circulation by offering it as loans. And we, the people, take them. It is a darker pact than we realise.
This practice is, obviously, contrary to Deuteronomy 25 about dishonest weights and measures. Such practice is described as an abomination in Proverbs 11:1. There are warnings that it is going on in Isaiah 1:22 and Amos 8:4-5; what else can "turning silver into dross" mean?
The only Christian I know of who criticises FRB on biblical grounds AND has an in-depth understanding of the world of money is Norm Franz. Google him!
Speaking of the financial world and the NWO.

ReplyDeleteThe opening statement about CIA predicting stuff almost made me laugh, but I read the rest and there are some serious indicators.
The falling down twice of Miss America and some other things are odd. Significant possibly. A nation's fall isn't just an economic burp in a cycle. More like loss of power among other nations. Might or might not involve invasion, a strike without invasion or natural disasters.
then the article gets to darkening of sun and moon, but you need earth between sun and moon for a lunar eclipse, and moon between sun and earth for a solar eclipse. obviously you can't have both at the same time. Jesus can't have been talking about natural events people would shrug off. (And only some blood moons tally with trouble for Jews, many tally with nothing according to one site.)
Those gathering information on the beginnings of the New Age movement should read Prophets of the New Age by Martin Green. http://tinyurl.com/kgu9uys 1992, You can check the index by going to the Look Inside feature at Amazon. If you have already read it, how do you evaluate the book?
ReplyDeleteShould be Prophets Of A New Age
ReplyDelete"how do you evaluate the book?"
ReplyDeleteHogwash. A mix of over-intellectualized categorization, mish mashed labeling, mixed up history and a possible and probable deliberate attempt to re-frame the New Age source and movement into some confusing discussion for snobs who want to show how superior their intellect and semantic deception skills are rather than get to the point. It reminds me of when Alice Baily says Satan is the king of this realm and the head of Lucis Trust explains she meant Saturn...and blubbered on, much about nothing.
Is this focus group over now?
I deliberately try to misspell and give not-a-care to grammar in a blog comment. I am trying to warn people and research not win a debate with Aldous Huxley or impress Constance.
"The man of sin is NOT Solana and it would be nice if Constance and her small group of fans would just get over it and focus on the real players right before our eyes."

ReplyDeleteI for one enjoyed your post. yes from the looks of the introduction and the table of contents, in the peek amazon.com gives you, it is all you say.
But remember, this is not written from or for our perspective, the dedication says it all: "To all those who keep the spirit of the New Age alive in the long marches of conformity - at least, to all those who do it without getting silly about it, or sinister."
This is a sympathetic sort of history, and focusses apparently on what of it the writer approves. That the "sinister" option is mentioned, shows the writer knows of some downsides to it. Judging by the bibliography, there is probably information of some use to researchers, especially those with some morals and theology.

Aw, somebody missed their afternoon nap. Mommy have to go shopping sweetie?
ReplyDeleteRichard, the antichrist doesn't come from the sky. Rev. 13:1 he comes from the sea, Rev. 13:11 and the false prophet comes from the earth.
ReplyDeleteThe first beast having ten horns, and animal features like a mix of the first three beasts Daniel sees in Daniel chapter 7 (see my blog http://seventhchapterofdaniel.blogspot.com for more extensive discussion), and ten horns like the fourth beast, is apparently a more detailed view of the fourth beast, though it is not a chimera in Daniel's vision.
The chimera details may point to something about what went into making it possible. Or since it is the antichrist himself, it may be the little horn Daniel sees rise up among the ten horns the indescribable beast has.
So the antichrist will arise out of an empire that doesn't even exist yet, though the groundwork for it may be in the works now.
the antichrist is shown with SEVEN heads while the fourth beast Daniel saw had only one, and the antichrist beast has ten horns with ten crowns on them, which itself connects back to that fourth beast, which has ten horns.
The statue and the toes of iron and clay have nothing to do with this, that point was fulfilled in Roman Empire policies. The eternal kingdom of Christ was set up in those days in the First Coming, the boulder that destroys the statue. That's over. Nothing about it is relevant now.
The four beasts vision seques into the Second Coming and the Last Judgement, so clearly is about the latter days.
The angel told Daniel that "many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased" in the time of the end, Daniel 12:4b. So that time is now.
Antichrist a moslem? I like Walid and Theodore Shoebat's work, but I don't buy the conclusion they draw. One interesting point they make, is that "the desire of women" the antichrist will despise is not about sex but about equal rights. This might well fit a moslem, but it might fit others. the feminist angle on paganism is overdone, and the matriarchy and amazonarchy was dead in the water before Judaism or Christianity became a big deal, except in a few places. It was not typical of paganism. So the antichrist could be a pagan, of some culture's reconstructed paganism, and eschews his fathers' false gods as well as the true God, and worships himself or the devil or both.
Naw, I will skip the book. I think there are lot's of anti Christs. However, just to be the token wacko for a post. Let me claim that a Golem will be created possibly via DNA from the shroud of Torrin so Luci won't have to share the body with a competing soul. Then it will hang out in the secret chambers of the not-legitimate rebuilt temple in Israel, of course Christ told us he would not be there in any chamber. How will we recognize this Golem in the masonic temple? Maybe that painting from the movie about that boy who went to Heaven, seemed like they pressed that girls painting as the real painting of Him, but I noticed her new age ways in you tube videos.
ReplyDeleteMaybe no images of Christ was a good idea. My sympathies to the Calvinists who believe that we should have -no images...yet I have a few, I am not a Calvinist. So we have failed to do mass exorcisms in the streets all days, people won't get the golem thing...it's just that Crowley stuff is all over and he would like that magic man thing. So really I don't believe the golem thing,I just thought it one day, they have cloned many elites since the 70's, maybe a clone of some sort? Maybe just a Tibetan monk will spring up.
clones are not lacking in souls. Adam did not acquire a soul when God breathed the breath of life into him, Adam "BECAME a living soul."
ReplyDeleteChristine,
ReplyDeleteBe careful of the conclusions you draw from the word soul (ψυχή), as the word has many different meanings, and one cannot: 1) apply only one of its meanings into every (or most) occurrence of the word, or 2) impose all of its meanings into every context (known as illegitimate totality transfer). Just because Adam ‘became a living ψυχὴν’ does not mean he had a not-yet-living “soul” in the sense of body-mind-soul before God ‘breathed life’ into him. It is for this reason that translations differ on the word ψυχή in the context of Genesis 2:7. Let me illustrate using the LXX:
καὶ ἐνεφύσησεν εἰς τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ πνοὴν ζωῆς,
and breathed into the face of him breath [of] life [noun form of “life” (ζωῆς)]
καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἄνθρωπος εἰς ψυχὴν ζῶσαν
and became the man into psyche/“soul” living [participle form of “life” = “living”]
and breathed into his face the breath of life, and the man became a living ψυχὴν [soul/being/creature/person] (accusative, direct object form of ψυχή).
“Soul” (ψυχή) is used in Genesis 1:24 in the same manner as 2:7 (compare bolded portions):
Καὶ εἶπεν ὁ θεός Ἐξαγαγ έτω ἡ γῆ ψυχὴν ζῶσαν κατὰ γένος
And said [the] God, “Let the earth psyche living according to kind.
And God said, “Let the land produce living ψυχὴν [creatures] according to their kind” (accusative, direct object form of ψυχή).
The BDAG cautions:
“It is oft[en] impossible to draw hard and fast lines in the use of this multivalent word. Gen[erally] it is used in ref[erence] to dematerialized existence or being, but, apart fr[om] other data, the fact that ψ[υχή] is also a dog’s name suggests that the primary component is not metaphysical…Without ψ[υχή] a being, whether human or animal, consists merely of flesh and bones and without functioning capability. Speculations and views respecting the fortunes of ψ[υχή] and its relation to the body find varied expression in our lit[erature].”
The BDAG defines the word in the context of Gen 1:24 and 2:7 as “by metonymy, that which possesses life/soul”
I’ll add: My opinion is that the respective contexts are not necessarily implying a two-step process of life in which God makes the physical then breathes life into a not-quite-yet-living creature/person. It may be the case, but then again it may not be (note that ψυχή is used similarly in Gen 1:20 and 21, as well as 24 without the implicit ‘two steps’ of 2:7). The wording here may be more poetic than literal in this respect. But, to be clear, I’m not taking a firm stance, and I don’t wish to go down a rabbit trail. I’m just providing food for thought.
In any case, my overriding point is that one cannot claim that clones have a “soul” by proof-texting (and, in my mind, misapplying) Gen 2:7.

ReplyDeleteNope, sorry not either one of those people. Just a nobody out here that is on to your selective exposing of the new age movement.
You can keep talking about Creme, Patel, Bailey, Solana, Nazis and rainbows. But I'll keep an eye on Pope Francis, Rick Warren, Copeland, Putin, Merkel and Sarkozy (yes- Sarkozy, he's back just like I told you he would be 2 years ago) and alot more.
And I'm sorry you consider me a nasty one, but I've watched you off and on for years pick apart the little stuff but ignore the really big stuff that's right in front of you. For instance, you have completely ignored Pope Francis's new friends and possible new age connections ALL year unless it was brought up by someone else and then you hardly commented at all.
If you were truly exposing the new age today, you would earnestly seek the truth on this and not worry about offending your catholic friends ( and I'm a former catholic, NOT a Protestant, past or present).
And by the way, I was not being nasty. Just google any number of combinations of "Javier Solana" and "obsession" and YOUR name always comes up. Not other names, but your name PROMINENTLY.
I not make that up, or rig google for display results. It's that way for a reason.

If information is open and obvious, then the rest can obviously see it -- I do the best I can given my constraints of 1) limited income; 2) still practicing law for clients who have needs but limited resources; 3) a severely disabled husband; 4) now a senior citizen.
I'm sorry I can't keep up with those with foundation funding or a large donor base -- I have never begged and am not about to start -- but at least I expect constructive suggestions and civility.

I just ordered the Martin Green book from the website referenced. I suspect I may already have it in my library, but it's looking for a needle in a haystack. I never fully read the book yet, BUT, I can tell you his perspective is definitely pro-New Age.
ReplyDeleteConstance
Craig, you are coming from the idea likely enough of separate creation and infusion into the body of the individual soul at conception. I am drawing on the earlier perspective, which has been forgotten even by most Orthodox, of traducianism.
ReplyDeleteAnd it is supported by Scripture, especially notice that Levi was still in Abraham's loins when Abraham paid tithe to Melchizedec, as Hebrews notes, and on that basis, and the basis that the inferior tithes to the superior, Jesus' High Priesthood according to the order (mode or fashion) of Melchizedec is superior to the priesthood of Aaron of Levi.
In other words, the soul stuff is passed with the reproductive cells, and even as the physical cells merge to form a new body, the soul stuff also merges to form a new soul.
Clones are nothing but high tech versions of identical twinning.
Eve was essentially a clone out of Adam, with a tweak to make her female.
We do not HAVE souls we ARE souls. The same word "breath of life" is used in Genesis regarding the animals and other flesh life forms that died in the Flood. And in Revelation we see all manner of creatures even in the sea praising God.
The Bible is written to give us what we need to know for salvation and right living. There is a lot it doesn't deal with in detail or at all. The Chinese empire doesn't figure in it because it doesn't materially impact the Middle East, where prophecy centers on, though their first ancestor is somewhere in the Table of Nations in Genesis. This is an example, and another would be the souls of animals. Our salvation does not depend on knowing about animal life after death or whether God resurrects them eventually, or keeps them with Him in heaven without restoring the physical body.
If you are going to think clones have no souls next step is that it's okay to kill them, and once you realize that twins well, one is a clone of the other, one of them is expendable (but how to tell which?) and exactly this happens in some primitive cultures in Africa where it was routine to kill twin infants they were bad luck (this has probably stopped by now).
The idea we are made in the image and likeness of God only in some spiritual or intellectual sense and nothing more, is a gnostic pagan conceit. The general "humanoid" shape AND the brain capacity and abilities the hands free to work the bipedal gait that lets you pivot all are relevant to our role as superintendant over nature under God.
In addition, I stumbled on this. In Egypt, only the Pharoah was considered to be the express image and likeness of whatever false god was top of the pantheon in his reign. But Genesis ascribes this feature, image and likeness of YHWH, to ALL humans, and warns in Deuteronomy that the king should not exalt his heart above his people.
So soul can mean the immortal part only, or be a portmanteau (briefcase) or umbrella term incl. body soul and spirit. Jehovah's Witnesses use this fact, to argue that the soul does not survive death but is recreated in the general resurrection of the dead in future, because of something in the Prophets "the soul that sins it shall die," and using the term any soul like we would use the term any body.
At death, the denser part of this spectrum (the body) drops off, and the person continues on in a reduced sort of way, no longer able to interact with the physical world.
I forgot to add, while LXX is all very well it IS a Greek translation of Hebrew, and I am drawing on the implications of nephesh or nefesh (sp?) in Hebrew.

Christine, there are two words in Hebrew, ancient Greek and English; in English they are soul and spirit, and there is not an exact correspondence between the two words in each language. It is VERY difficult to make sense of what is being said. I suspect that you don't even begin to understand the complexities. Show a little humility and you might be educated by Craig.
ReplyDeleteanon 4:04
ReplyDeleteas he pointed out, it is hard to pin down The BDAG cautions:
“It is oft[en] impossible to draw hard and fast lines in the use of this multivalent word. Gen[erally] it is used in ref[erence] to dematerialized existence or being, but, apart fr[om] other data, the fact that ψ[υχή] is also a dog’s name suggests that the primary component is not metaphysical…Without ψ[υχή] a being, whether human or animal, consists merely of flesh and bones and without functioning capability. Speculations and views respecting the fortunes of ψ[υχή] and its relation to the body find varied expression in our lit[erature].”
which is exactly supportive of my point. If it is alive, it is (or you would say has) a soul.
The very fact of complexities throws this into the traducian court.
show a little humility and you might get educated beyond some science fiction horror notions with biblical trappings.
ON WHAT EXPLICIT BIBLICAL BASIS DO YOU CONSIDER THAT CLONES ARE SOULLESS?
Well said 10:57 A.M.
ReplyDeleteThis blog serves no purpose really.
Christine,
ReplyDeleteYour original statement expressly does not support traducianism; i.e., that offspring acquire part of the “soul” of their parents. As the wiki article states (at hyperlink just provided), “The Church Fathers universally agreed that the soul of Adam was directly created by God.” That is, Adam did not inherit a portion of his “soul” from his “Parent.”
And Anon 4:04 is correct that both “soul” and “spirit” – as translated to the English – are not distinct in either the Hebrew or the Greek (LXX or NT). This article makes that point clear.
The Hebrew transliterated nefesh is נֶפֶשׁ– check out the various translations of the word at the link, to include soul, mind, and spirit. In addition, the Hebrew רוּחַ(ruach) is rendered spirit, wind, and soul. When these were translated in the LXX, the Greek was not consistent – again, as the above article illustrates. In fact, Genesis 2:7 in the MT actually hints at this overlap in meaning by using words for “breath” and “breathed,” as well as “being.”
http://biblehub.com/interlinear/genesis/2-7.htm
Moreover, the word translated as “being” (lenefesh) here is also used to refer to a dead body/person:
http://biblehub.com/hebrew/lenefesh_5315.htm
The wiki article used for traducianism is not exactly unbiased either. The point that in John 5:17 “working can simply have the meaning that God is simply working for the salvation of mankind” does not fit the larger context. Jesus’ point here, as other commentaries have pointed out, is based on the Jewish understanding that God did not work on the Sabbath except in both giving life (via new births) and taking life (death); and, Jesus makes the assertion that He also gives life and administers judgment (5:21-25ff). Thus, this is understood as God continually creating. Taken to an extreme (and I'm not suggesting you are), traducianism can imply that God set the universe in motion, then had and has no role in its outcome.
And, my point in quoting BDAG is to illustrate that individual contexts determine final meaning of the GREEK word, and, even at that, it’s not always easy to definitively conclude at times, given language diachrony, and that you couldn’t support your initial argument by using Genesis 2:7. Also, you can’t very well subsequently point to the GREEK when you’ve attempted to further explain your initial statement by using the Hebrew nefesh.
The bottom line is that your initial statement was not well-thought out at all. If you had initially made your point clear that you had traducianism in mind in your comment about cloning, we all would not have wasted a lot of time.
However, your traducianistic view on cloning entails its own problems, as it implies that a cloned life is every bit as valid as any other God-given life. The wiki article states, “traducianism requires that the soul be present in the child from conception.” With this in mind, what role is ascribed to the cloner in the “conception” of the cloned?
"Your original statement expressly does not support traducianism; i.e., that offspring acquire part of the “soul” of their parents. As the wiki article states (at hyperlink just provided), “The Church Fathers universally agreed that the soul of Adam was directly created by God.” That is, Adam did not inherit a portion of his “soul” from his “Parent.”"
ReplyDelete???!
Adam didn't have a parent. All inherit body soul spirit from him and from Eve, who as his femalized clone, inherited it from him. God directly created each kind of critter, and endowed it with the ability to reproduce itself "be fruitful and multiply" granted this power, not a command to get out there and breed like rabbits (unless you are a rabbit).
from the article linked
"Supporters[edit]
Traducianism was initially developed by Tertullian and arguably propagated by Augustine of Hippo, and has been endorsed by Gregory of Nyssa, Anastasius Sinaita, Hilary of Poitiers, Ambrose of Milan, many in the early Catholic Church ), various Lutheran churches, and some modern theologians such as Augustus H. Strong (Baptist), W. G. T. Shedd and Gordon Clark (Presbyterian), Lewis Sperry Chafer, Millard Erickson, Norman L. Geisler, Robert Culver, and Robert L. Reymond.
Opposition[edit]
Opponents of traducianism are sometimes found in the pro-life movement, because many among those who hold to pro-life views are of the opinion that embryos have a soul and are to be fully recognized as persons. However, such opposition is without cause, as traducianism requires that the soul be present in the child from conception."
Tertullian didn't "develop" it, he would have got the idea from a. common sense shorn of gnostic baggage, and b. Hebrews 7:5-17 note vss. 10 and 11.
Christine,
ReplyDeleteI don't understand your disconnect here. Genesis 2:7 indicates the creation of Adam ex nihilo, NOT from traducianism. Hence, you cannot use this verse to make a point about traducianism. It's really quite simple.
...I should say instead that Adam was formed from the dust of the earth, which was formed ex nihilo.
ReplyDeleteCraig, I don't understand YOUR disconnect.
ReplyDeleteAdam didn't inherit anything from anything (except perhaps from dust) created ex nihilo or from dirt itself created ex nihilo or from other elements created ex nihilo
ADAM HAD NO PARENTS. Adam was not consubstantial with God, so inherited nothing from God. He RECEIVED by fiat but he did not INHERIT in the sense of having divine nature like The Son, The Logos, has divine nature being of same substance as The Father.
God is only metaphorically Adam's father, not literally.
Adam didn't inherit, he is the one we inherit from. God did a special creation of Adam and cloned Eve out of him, there is no indication God did any creating after that. Everything animals are they inherit from the first animals, everything we are we inherit from the first human. Mutations, sure. genetic engineering, maybe. spontaneous lateral inheritance where genes move cross species even genera lines by viruses, yes. But essentially, Adam's body soul and spirit were created, he and Eve were given the power to reproduce, and God let it go from there, we inherit from them.
Christine,
ReplyDeleteHere’s the full context of your initial statement:
clones are not lacking in souls. Adam did not acquire a soul when God breathed the breath of life into him, Adam "BECAME a living soul."
There is no way, with the context provided, that anyone could understand traducianism as your backdrop. Hence your initial statement did not at all establish your position; it was your follow up comments that made it clear (at least that part, anyway).
As you’ll note in my comment about this I put ”Parent” in quotes, as, of course, God is not Adam’s “Parent.” Please read my comments more carefully in order to fully engage with them.
I refuse to respond to the rest of your comments, as it becomes never-ending.

A New World Tax Regime
Written by Alex Newman
http://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/item/17987-a-new-world-tax-regime
~ K ~
sigh. Adam OBVIOUSLY did not have a traducian background, he was the start of us.
ReplyDeleteWE have OUR traducian inheritance FROM ADAM.
Traducianism dead ends in the past at the creation of the first ancestor.
of course Adam's body soul and spirit were specially created AND PASSED ON THROUGH REPRODUCTION TO US THEREAFTER.
Traducianism is not about how Adam started, it is about how we got here from Adam. Adam did not get anything traducianistically for lack of a better term. We get what we are traducianistically from Adam, before who there is no inheritance so of course he is not traducianly from anything.
The Genesis passage of course RULE OUT a traducian ORIGIN for Adam himself, because it doesn't say Adam had any parents. you have to have parents to have traducianism operating in your origins.
ReplyDeleteTraducianism has no relevance to Adam's origin, it is about how we descend from Adam.
Here's quite a mouthful of info from the link provided by K above:
ReplyDeleteNone of the proposed changes look likely to benefit the common man — only governments and their functionaries. For Americans such a scheme would turn American traditions and constitutional protections upside down. According to a brief by the OECD, among the data that governments would share with each other as part of the “automatic exchange of information” regime are various categories of income, changes of address, purchase or sale of property, and more. Instead of being secure in one’s house, papers, and effects without a warrant and probable cause, governments and autocrats around the world will be free to rifle through Americans’ most sensitive information at will.
Hackers, criminals, and identity thieves, among others, will almost certainly be able to access the data, dubious globalist promises of “security” notwithstanding. The situation is similar in other nations where authorities are busy gutting long-standing protections on privacy rights to comply with FATCA.
While Americans might recoil in horror at the prospect of sharing private financial information with Third World socialist regimes, the OECD boasts of its collaboration with them. “Working with partner countries (including Argentina, Brazil, China, India, the Russian Federation and South Africa), the OECD is advancing rapidly in the development of a common model for reporting and automatic exchange of certain account information held by financial institutions, including due diligence rules, reporting formats and secure transmission methods,” the outfit explained, noting that automatic information sharing between governments and even ruthless tyrannies was becoming “the new standard.”
The chance for abuse of individuals’ information is 100 percent. Consider that among the early participants in the scheme is the imploding socialist regime ruling Argentina — currently searching frantically for wealth to plunder as the economy it misrules collapses around it. Also on board is the radical South African Communist Party-African National Congress regime, which has been implicated in genocide in South Africa by the world’s leading expert in the field, and which has more poverty today than when power was transferred from the white government to the ANC. Eventually, globalists hope to force every government and dictator on the planet into participating. More than a few brutal autocracies are already lining up to join.
A senior OECD bureaucrat claimed that the Obama administration had also committed to “early adoption” of the new world tax plot, though experts and analysts have pointed out that the U.S. president has no lawful authority to follow through on such a pledge without approval from Congress. And with the IRS rampantly trying to hurt conservative organizations and the Justice Department refusing to do a thorough investigation of the lawbreaking, Americans cannot count on our government to work at safeguarding our data from abuse.
"None of the proposed changes look likely to benefit the common man — only governments and their functionaries. For Americans such a scheme would turn American traditions and constitutional protections upside down. According to a brief by the OECD, among the data that governments would share with each other as part of the “automatic exchange of information” regime are various categories of income, changes of address, purchase or sale of property, and more. Instead of being secure in one’s house, papers, and effects without a warrant and probable cause, governments and autocrats around the world will be free to rifle through Americans’ most sensitive information at will."
ReplyDeletebeing secure in your papers etc. is about physical security. The information you cite is exactly what the common man pays to get and benefits from - information brokers who help you investigate people who might be lying to you.
that doesn't mean there couldn't be a problem. Medical information and wrong information could be a problem. But this sort of information is always shared among police agencies, AND UNTIL THE PAST DECADE OR SO WAS PUBLIC INFORMATION AVAILABLE ON DEMAND OR FOR PAY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THE WORK TO GET AT IT.
Even the registration and home address and name of a car was required by law to be displayed visibly in a vehicle back in the 1q930s and 1940s maybe 1950s, so you could know who to blame for what.
Abuses of this information got it more and more hidden, till you can hardly ever find out who the suspicious person in the strange car in your neighborhood is and his criminal record if any and the police can't even do this kind of research without more probable cause than you got an instinct something is wrong.
The whole search and seizure thing was about physical invasions like the British General Warrant that shook down whole blocks on suspicion or for lack of anything else to do, and thefts and murders had happened in these contexts.
some of this information incl. stuff that is used to generate passwords or to prove you are you when you want to change a password and oops, someone else can give the same info.
This is security, not the cult of privacy behind which hides abortion.
I posted the information on the book Prophets of a New Age after having read over half of it just to advise others that it exists. I came across it by chance. He's pro-New Age, but that's no big whoop. His information is factual rather than speculative, and a good part was new to me. Much information on the topic coming from either the pro or con sides regarding New Age is deceptive or simplistic. Green's book on Ascona,. Mountain of Truth, is going for over $130. It is important to know in what context the New Age idea has become acceptable to so many. I have also learned over time that information coming from the pro New Age side gets shut down rather quickly if too much is exposed. Green's book received little attention.
ReplyDeleteThe connection between Ascona and Bollingen has received little attention, far less than it deserves, followed by the Bollingen connection to Princeton. The connection between Princeton and the New Age network is a fertile field for research. I've done the research for my own use and only am suggesting the topic to serious researchers who may not have worked it. There was information on Bollingen at this blog quite a while ago, but nothing recently.
Just a helpful hint. If you look up a book at http://www.worldcat.org/ there will be helpful links to other books on the same topic. Those not working in an academic setting will find that useful.
Everyone is entitled to their own take on what is important about the New Age movement. This is just one index card.
Durwood Cumbey?? Weird site!
Now back to just occasionally looking in.
I've seen the Durwood Cumbey site in the past. I don't know him nor much about him. He is not related to me as best as I know. Cumbey is a married name for me. I am a Butler by birth.
ReplyDeleteConstance
Christine, why do you have a blogspot called "Cumbey's blog links"? I don't remember ever authorizing or recommending this.
ReplyDeleteConstance
zuujie I think it was (I put descriptoins and dots together came up with Dorothy Margraf) suggested someone should make a collection of your research links and those posted by others, I assume she meant without all the chatter and arguing.
ReplyDeleteThe blog is supposed to be hidden as it was never finished and needs a total overhaul.
A lot of links would be seen by no one who doesn't take the time and trouble to dig through links posted by everyone in comments throughout the years and I ran out of steam doing this (and redoing dead links with archive.org) and never published it, unless I hit wrong button somewhere. Did I announce this at some point?
It was just supposed to be everyone's links that didn't look too silly and some comments but I have been thinking to eliminate all comments and leave it as links only. Only some were posted by you, it is research possibility from everyone from the first blog entry's comments to now.
zuujie should be zuukie
ReplyDeleteif I finish it and publish I will rename it, is does look like it is a project of yours when it isn't, I didn't mean it that way just to identify source.
ReplyDeleteIf you like i will drop the project altogether.
ReplyDeletetraducianism - since Adam was the ONLY specially created human, that he BECAME a living soul means we are not ourselves specially separately created physically or spiritually, all we have descends from all Adam had.
ReplyDeleteAnimals have/are NEFESH according to Genesis, but NESHAMAH apppears only in relation to humans, with one exception which is ambiguous.
ReplyDeleteAs for Adam being created ex nihilo, is not "Created from the dust of the ground", ie from atoms/molecules, a fine one-phrase summary of evolution in the language of 4000 years ago?
Yes, infiltrators and assigned detractors, agents and the like. I saw them right away Constance, they came after me as well, requesting to be in contact with me and will continue be little flies. Some people love God and His laws, some love to suck the life out of those who love God and the law. Wolves and sheep, ending only when Christ returns.
ReplyDeleteanon 5:53 "Animals have/are NEFESH according to Genesis, but NESHAMAH apppears only in relation to humans, with one exception which is ambiguous."
ReplyDeletetotally wrong. neshamah is the breath of life which makes you a nefesh.
Genesis 2:7 -- KJV with Strong's
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (Neshamat) and man became a living soul (Nefesh)
As you can see, this verse clearly separates between Neshamat and Nefesh as two separate things, the first subject being breathed forth by Elohim, the other a title applied to man.

Strong's 5397. neshamah
"breath"
Original Word: נְשָׁמָה
Transliteration: neshamah
Phonetic Spelling: (nesh-aw-maw')
Short Definition: blast
Word Origin
from nasham
Definition
breath
NASB Word Usage
blast (2), breath (15), breathes (1), life (1), persons alive (1), spirit (2), who breathed (3).
Gen. 7:22 describes all the life that died in The Flood using the terms ruach and neshamat regarding animals.
The idea of the divine spark isn't biblical it is gnostic mysticism.
THE MAIN THING IS, REGARDLESS OF ADAM AS SPECIAL CREATION OR EVOLVED, THAT ALL WE ARE, BODY SOUL AND SPIRIT, IS INHERITED FROM ADAM BY THE PROCESS OF REPRODUCTION.
it can be added to or lessened or modified. But it tracks back to the first ancestor.
if you want to track it back to a one celled critter fine, whatever. Or God took that creature that evolution brought closest to human but NOT human, and made one of them into a human.
evolution makes changes within a kind, it has never been shown to change reptiles into mammals or whatever. but that isn't the point.
Adam ex dirt, Adam ex monkeys, doesn't matter. God rested from all His work on the seventh day so except for maintenance and maybe secret restoration of some dead species somewhere perhaps by resurrection, He isn't making more souls and infusing them into bodies. All track back to Genesis chapters one and two.
THE ARGUMENT IN HEBREWS FOR JESUS' LEGITIMACY AS PRIEST (as a Judahite He has no such legitimacy under Mosaic Law) IS BASED ON A TRADUCIAN STATEMENT, THAT LEVI PAID TITHES TO MELCHIZEDEC
WHEN LEVI YET UNCONCEIVED AND HIS FATHER YET UNCONCEIVED WERE IN ABRAHAM'S LOINS AND ABRAHAM PAID TITHES TO MELCHIZEDEC,
AND THE LESSER TITHES TO THE GREATER SO LEVI IS LESS THAN MELCHIZEDEC.
Levi of course was still in the loins of his female ancestors, but the inheritance of the blessing the promised son lineage, is through Abraham, as well as Sarah.
That the spirit isn't from the father only, would be proved by the requirement that it be Sarah who was to be the mother of the child, as well as the issue of her being aged and this showing God's power over fertility, and by the fact that the same word is used for male "beget" and female birthing, it is patriarchist bias that gives the different words.
Adam fertilized Eve's egg, but she named her son and credited him to YHWH rather than Adam.

ReplyDeleteMe: "Animals have/are NEFESH according to Genesis, but NESHAMAH apppears only in relation to humans, with one exception which is ambiguous."
ReplyDeleteChristine: "totally wrong. neshamah is the breath of life which makes you a nefesh."
Thank you for your generous words, Christine. I read your "sigh" in response to Craig after you had failed to grasp his point; it reminded me of a flea biting a lion. Genesis says that God created man in his own image (1:27) “from particles of earth [adamah], and breathed [nafach] into his nostrils the breath [neshamah] of life, and man became a living being [nefesh]” (2:7). Hebrew relates breathing and living; living animals too are nefesh (1:24). Only God and man are described as having neshamah in the Old Testament - 24 times - with one possible exception, Genesis 7:22. This verse could be taken to apply the word to animals, but the reference is ambiguous and the other 23 references aren’t, which settles the ambiguity. The similar word ruach is applied to animals at Genesis 7:15, where it clearly means ‘breath’ rather than its other meaning, spirit. So neshamah is the key word and it is part of the image of God in us.
sigh again as you gnats failed to grasp or refuse to face an uncomfortable fact.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing ambiguous about Genesis 7:22 when you read the context, which I assume you didn't do. Cite a verse to you people as the core element, and you don't read what comes before or after, do you? But that is not how The Bible was written.
7:21, 22 ALL ONE PARAGRAPH FROM 17 TO 24, to judge by the NKJV. I quote KJV however. "And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. And every living substance [obviously not including trees, hence the olive leaf the dove found] was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heavens; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark. And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days."
Neither is this ambiguous: Rev. 5:13 "And evevry creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever."
I will leave out reference to the four beasts which might be angels in a form suitable to the event but if so, what is the message of that form? that beasts have a place with God also.
you may shudder because we kill and eat our fellow creatures, is that your problem, you fear you are sinning? God gave permission to eat meat provided we pour out its life blood at least to some extent to Him, it is "things strangled" that are prohibited in the Apostolic Council in Acts, zero exsanguination. This has nothing to do with health issues and is not relevant to blood transfusion, and this is about the blood of the dead not the living so don't drag the Eucharist in here.
The idea of spirit being the image of God and limited to us, is part of gnostic baggage coming through Origen who influenced some Church Fathers who influenced later RC and Orthodox thought, the former providing baggage the Protestants have. The premise is that matter is bad spirit is good.
IT IS PART OF THE NEW AGE NOTION OF THE DIVINE SPARK IN US the God within, which is not the same as having a similarity to God.
Revelation shows ALL creatures animals even fish incl. praising YHWH so clearly being able to have a relationship with God is not limited to us.
Our nature INCLUDING OUR PHYSICAL STRUCTURE AND ITS PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS is what is image and likeness of God, and that is partly the function of superintendant over nature under God. "tend the garden and keep it." At least one of the Church Fathers got that point to some extent.
of course you don't bother with the traducianism of Hebrews chapter 7, do you?

Dear Constance,
ReplyDelete"sigh again as you gnats failed to grasp or refuse to face an uncomfortable fact."
This is even worse than the excessive postings.
Since when are the rest of your commenters here 'gnats'? We know you do not regard us that way, but she is quite often condescending toward us. Her 'you people'& 'need educated' (by her) so she forces topics trying to bludgeon us to her point of view. More than anything this is the reason she should not be considered civil enough to occupy commenting space if she persists. I know folks who have stopped coming to this blogspot because they got tired of these displays.
Constance, sorry, Charlotte said education should incl. literature and poetry such as she grew up with in school and our generation was somewhat exposed to.
ReplyDeleteBut precisely in that "great literature" and "great poetry" lies the roots of a lot of modern problematic thought and music. I can't spend space here, but you can track concepts and preferred mood in some modern awful music to writers in the 1800s, and Blake and Shelly may be esteemed but they are also esteemed by the church of satan and other undesirables. go figure.
Just because something can put you in an exalted mood or any mood doesn't validate it, and classical music is as contaminated with evil philosophy and occultic connections of its composers as is modern music.

ReplyDeleteLev. 17:3-7 "What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,

"To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which
they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the Lord,....and they shall no more offer their
sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring...."
NOTE that blood guilt part, that killing an animal to sacrifice to a false god, to a devil, qualifies as MURDER.
the very order to Noah to eat meat only after pouring the blood out and not retain it during the kill or kill by means that don't cause bleeding but pour out the blood to God, shows that these creatures though not on our level are on a much higher level than we ascribe to them.
Christine,
ReplyDeleteYour seeming inability (disinterest?) to coherently state your positions, along with your seeming refusal to correctly interpret another’s point of view / line of argumentation is absolutely exhausting. Had you lucidly described your position in your initial comment re: clones containing “souls” (at 12:39AM), I would have better understood that your statement was based on the doctrine of traducianism – a doctrine with which I was familiar.
It wasn’t until your reply (@ 3:30PM) to mine, that you more clearly defined your initial (12:39AM) statement:
Craig, you are coming from the idea likely enough of separate creation and infusion into the body of the individual soul at conception. I am drawing on the earlier perspective, which has been forgotten even by most Orthodox, of traducianism. (3:39PM)
This statement is coherent (this part of your overall comment @ 3:30PM, anyway). When I pointed out that your initial statement – devoid of any overt reference to parents transmitting the immaterial aspect (“soul”) to their offspring – did not support traducianism in and of itself, you subsequently wrote in response to my statement that Adam didn’t inherit anything from his “Parent” (i.e. God) (in view of your very first comment):
…Adam didn't inherit [anything from God], he is the one we inherit from… (@ 7:39PM)
If you would have made it clear that Adam was the beginning point and that we all inherit “soul” from Adam in your initial statement – thereby clearly indicating traducianism – I would have understood what you meant. But, you didn’t; and, due to your continued incomplete expressions, we’ve both wasted time.
Your comments in between and following our discussion about Gnosticism and divine spark are all your own faulty conclusions to the doctrine of creationism (with respect to human “souls”). See here for a brief compare and contrast with traducianism:
http://www.gotquestions.org/souls-created.html
And, then you wrote this comment:
Craig on the other hand seems to confuse origins with descent issues, or is dishonest and pretends that traducianism has to be about Adam's origins and if not stated per his origins it is disproved. It is not about Adam's origins, and NEVER has been about Adam's origins it is about us.
Your absolute failure to grasp what I write is beyond me. You impose things on my words that just aren’t there. If you’ll read all my comments related to traducianism carefully, you’ll see that I’ve never discounted the doctrine as potentially valid, nor did I try to refute the doctrine. This is one of those non-essential theological matters. I may disagree, but I’m not going to do battle over it.
For clarity, read this statement:
ReplyDeleteYour comments in between and following our discussion about Gnosticism and divine spark are all your own faulty conclusions to the doctrine of creationism (with respect to human “souls”).
as:
Your comments about Gnosticism and divine spark in between and following our discussion on traductianism are all your own faulty conclusions to the doctrine of creationism (with respect to human “souls”).

clarity? I for once do not understand your point. THESE STATEMENT HAVE IDENTICAL CONTENT AND MEANING. a slight variation or addition of words doesn't change a thing.
and no, it isn't faulty, because while separate creation of souls does not require the idea of the divine spark, which is gnostic baggage disguised as poetry,
the latter is exactly the attitude involved with the notion that it is the likeness of God that was breathed into Adam that we have spirit making us higher than animals and so forth, when in fact the differences between them and us are colossal, but of the sort that are more of quantity than quality, and yet that kind of quantity that is way beyond a point where it becomes quality. (e.g., we build buildings. so do some insects and birds and beavers and muskrats. but what we do is way beyond what they do. animals can associate sound and meaning and in a very crippled way produce a part of the sound to signal the meaning, but it is nothing compared to what the usual adult human can do with speech. The occasional bipedal gait of great apes is not free like ours, and only aided by brachiation in gibbons.)
Also some types of cells in the human brain are absent in most animal brains.

Rev. Ch 18, verse 8 says, "The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder..."
The bottomless pit, the abussos, is certainly not a symbol or description of any nation.
He (the same anticristos) is the one who will destroy the Two Witnesses.
He appears with lying signs and wonders. We know this. Do you? Christ warned the the level of deception will of such a great magnitude that even the vigilant Christians would be bamboozled.
I think of no other possibility or other cause of such a deception than that of some intervention by the rebel angel host, artfully masquerading as extra- terrestrials, arriving in their massive ships to say "Enough".
Think carefully on this.
He will be no ordinary politician making broken promises. He is the LAST world ruler and our Scripture says we should expect his entrance to be electrifying.
That should be Rev. Ch. 17, not 18.

ReplyDeleteFor anyone who might be interested here's the link to a helpful booklet about TTIP by John Hilary from War on Want.
The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) is a comprehensive free trade and investment treaty currently being negotiated – in secret – between the European Union and the USA.
The intention to launch TTIP negotiations was first announced by President Barack Obama in his State of the Union address in February 2013, and the first round of negotiations took place between European Commission and US officials in July of the same year. The aim is to rush through the talks as swiftly as possible with no details entering the public domain, in the hope that they can be concluded before the peoples of Europe and the USA find out the true scale of the TTIP threat.

McKinsey & Company is a key player in the global governance business. In a recent article on the needs of global governance, they featured an article on "A Middle Way for Governance". It is by one Nichoals Berggruen. He has an Institute by his own name, the "Nicholas Berggruen Institute." However, check out its website -- it is not to be taken lightly. It includes as a related front the BERGGRUEN INSTITUTE ON GOVERNANCE. THAT includes a "21st Century Council"; a "Council for the Future of Europe" and the "Think Long Committee for California". He is obviously closely allied with Arianna Huffington.
ReplyDeleteNicolas Berggruen (born 10 August 1961) is a philanthropist and investor. A dual American and German citizen,[2] he is the founder and president of Berggruen Holdings, a private investment company and the Berggruen Institute on Governance, a think tank that works on addressing governance issues. Through the Berggruen Institute he is also a co-founder with the Huffington Post of The WorldPost, a media publication dedicated to global issues.[3] His father created the Museum Berggruen in Berlin. The press has sometimes referred to Berggruen as "the homeless billionaire" because he lives in hotels and does not own a home. . . . (from Wikipedia article on Nicholas Berggruen).
As regards his share of the role in global governance (and he is closely affiliated with McKinsey & Company -- invited to contribute to their journals):
In 2010, Berggruen founded the Berggruen Institute on Governance, a think and action tank through which he aspires to develop and implement more effective systems of governance.[11] Through the institute, he has launched several government reform projects including the 21st Century Council which is focused on global governance challenges, the Council for the Future of Europe, to support work on European integration and the Think Long Committee for California a bi-partisan effort focused on reforming California's system of governance.[12]
The 21st Century Council was formed in 2011 to address gaps in global governance. The group, chaired by Ernesto Zedillo, includes political leaders such as Fernando Henrique Cardoso, Gerhard Schröder, Gordon Brown, George Yeo, Pascal Lamy, and Zheng Bijian. The council also includes several Nobel laureates and leading thinkers such as Joseph Stiglitz, Michael Spence, Lawrence Summers, and Francis Fukuyama as well as business and technology leaders Eric Schmidt, Jack Dorsey, and Pierre Omidyar among many others.[13] from Wikipedia.

Nicolas Berggruen, "the homeless billionaire without a country" who lives in hotels is a most fascinating figure. Here is a Wall Street Journal article about him that tells much:

The McKinsey/Berggruen Global Governance apparatus prominently includes Ernesto Zedillo, a former president of Mexico. He was a member of the same PRI (Revolutionary party) that persecuted Mexican Catholics between 1926 and 1935 and banned clerical collars until 1989, as I recall. He was recently named Chairman of the Berggruen initiative's 21st Century Council.
ReplyDeleteHere are some of his other notable activities:
After leaving office, Zedillo has held many jobs as an
economic consultant in many international companies and
organizations.
Zedillo currently works at Yale University in the United
States, where he teaches economics and heads the Yale
Center for the Study of Globalization. He is an advisory
board member of the Millstein Center for Corporate
Governance and Performance at the Yale School of
Management. In 2005 he became a member of the
influential Washington-based financial advisory body, the
Group of Thirty . He serves on the board of advisors for
Stonebridge International .[41] In 2009 he headed an
external review of the World Bank Group 's governance.[42]
In 2010 he joined the board of directors of Citigroup .[43]
He is also a member of the board of directors of Procter &
Gamble, Alcoa, the Global Development Network (GDN)
and Electronic Data Systems . Dr. Zedillo is also a member
of the Coca-Cola Company International Advisory Board .
Union Pacific owns some of the railroads that Zedillo
privatized during his presidency in Mexico. Dr. Zedillo now serves as a Director of Union Pacific
Corporation.
Among his other post-presidency activities, Zedillo is a member of the editorial board of Americas Quarterly ,
a policy journal that explores relations and development in the Western Hemisphere. He is also a member of
the Club of Madrid , as well as the current chair of the Natural Resource Charter 's Oversight Board.
In July 2013 Zedillo joined The Elders , a group of independent global leaders who work together on peace
and human rights issues.[44] (source is Wikipedia)

The ambitions and operations of the Berggruen group which appears to be playing a major role with the G20 countries and this young man Berggruen spells out in his McKinsey & Company article on "The Middle Way" are vast. Quoting from that article:
ReplyDeleteThe Group of 20, in which Europe, Japan, and the United States—the old G-7—are
joined by Brazil, China, India, Mexico, South Africa, Turkey, and others, is, in effect, the
mechanism of adjustment from Globalization 1.0 to 2.0. The advanced economies of the
old G-7 are unable to provide global public goods such as open trade, stable financial
flows, and a global reserve currency, while the emerging economies, with China in the
lead, are not yet able to do so. Moreover, unlike the G-7, the G-20 brings together a
broad mix of cultures and economic and political systems. Figuring out how to govern
these new, interdependent plural identities, in which economic convergence and
cultural divergence are taking place simultaneously, is an unprecedented challenge. To
help meet this challenge, we formed a council of former world leaders from advanced
and developing countries, top thinkers, and technologically savvy “disrupters.” This
group has focused on debating issues of global governance and offering its best counsel
to current heads of state—notably a given year’s president of the G-20. It also operates
as a bridge between Asian, particularly Chinese, governing elites and those in the West,
hoping to ease the transition to an interdependent world from one held together by
Western dominance. Such broadened political participation can help ensure that the
provision of global public goods will not fall victim to national (and nationalist) rivalries . . .
This thing is very interconnected with Brookings Institution, Yale University, and many, many other powerful players. I remind all that Strobe Talbot is a former head of the World Federalist Movement and was very close to both DONALD KEYS and JAVIER SOLANA. It looks like the global infrastructure thing has been in planning for awhile and that Brookings has been a player. Here is a list of the participants in a 2013 conference on what appears to be the same issues. Berggruen, Javier Solana, Madeline Albright, and many other powerful figures were included in this discussion of "The Private Sector in the New Global Development Agenda."
ReplyDeleteI can't help but wonder if that is why we are now being treated to so many horror stories on "our crumbling infrastructure."

Apologize to earlier posters. Somebody requested information about Ken Wilber, a major New Age guru. I posted a reply to an earlier column's comments.
ReplyDeleteConstance
Dear ~K --
ReplyDeleteThanks again for the valuable information and links.
Constance
Constance,
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU for deleting many of Christine Erikson's posts. The resulting discussion is much more on track now.
I wanted to know about Wilbur he promotes Gardner's Intelligences. So do the enneagram people. Gardner has 9 but started with 7 and Tim Leary has 12, anyway Gardner is foundational to the IBM digital learning tablets as well as Skinner.. Seems they categorize the 21st cent work force or some horrible thing. Nit so good that Wilbur remarks on this positively. Leary was huge on this digital society we are now crushed by, go figure.
ReplyDeleteYou will make more finds spelling his name WILBER, unless, of course, we are talking about a different person than Ken Wilber who indeed is a MAJOR PERSONALITY in New Age/New World Order circles.

It will be interesting to learn what the varied influences on Nicolas Berggruen may have been. Obviously, he is extremely close to ARIANNA HUFFINGTON, the former ARIANNA STASSINOPOULOS. She is a disciple of New Age cult guru JOHN-ROGER who believed himself to be a "messiah" and named his movement MSIA (Movement for Spiritual Inner Awareness.) Marilyn Ferguson was tight with John-Roger as well, but ARIANNA was/is an ordained minister in Roger's church Roger was so controlling and litigious that another of his prominent disciples, Peter McWilliams, wrote a book about him, LIFE 102: WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR GURU SUES YOU?
ReplyDeleteJohn-Roger reportedly ran Arianna's husband's expensive California political campaigns. Arianna Huffington is the most prominent of John-Roger's disciples. She was ordained a "Minister of Light" in his church.
It looks to me like many of the personalities I have observed over the past 34 years are gaining in prominence and influence and bringing their friends along. (I've followed Stassinopoulos/Huffington since Marilyn Ferguson boasted to me in 1984 that Arianna Stassinopoulos (nka Arianna Huffington) was her new very close New Age friend.
If there are John-Roger links to this network, that is even deeper trouble -- John Roger inspires near fanaticism among his followers. Arianna is still obviously still under his spell. Here, for example is a link to an article published on her blog about John Roger.

From SOURCE WATCH re ARIANNA HUFFINGTON:
ReplyDeleteArianna Huffington "is a nationally syndicated columnist and author of ten books. Originally from Greece, she moved to England when she was sixteen and graduated from Cambridge University with an M.A. in Economics. At twenty-one she became President of the famed debating society, the Cambridge Union.
"In 2003, she ran for governor as an Independent in California's recall election. Her populist grassroots campaign was widely praised for putting the media spotlight on the corrupting influence of special interest money on American politics.
"Her first book, The Female Woman, on the changing roles of women, was published in 1974 by Random House and translated into eleven languages. In 1978 she published After Reason, a book on political leadership and the intersection of politics and culture. Her biography of Maria Callas: The Woman Behind the Legend, published in 1981 quickly became an international bestseller. Her fourth book, The Gods of Greece, celebrated the power of myths as guides to forgotten dimensions of life and ourselves, and has been republished by Atlantic Monthly Press, with paintings by Francoise Gilot.
"Her biography of Pablo Picasso, Picasso: Creator and Destroyer, published in 1988, was a major international bestseller, translated into sixteen languages. The book was reissued by Avon Books to coincide with the release of a feature film based on the book, produced by Merchant-Ivory for Warner Bros. and starring Anthony Hopkins as Picasso. In 1994, she published The Fourth Instinct on the longing for meaning in a secular world. Her seventh book, Greetings From the Lincoln Bedroom, a book of political satire, was published in 1998 by Crown. How To Overthrow The Government, on the corruption of our political system and the need for reform, was published in 2000 by Regan Books (Harper Collins).
"Her New York Times bestseller, "Pigs at the Trough: How Corporate Greed and Political Corruption are Undermining America", was published in 2003. Her latest book, "Fanatics and Fools: The Game Plan for Winning Back America" (April 2004), offers both a scathing portrait of our contemporary political landscape and a bold, inspiring, yet practical approach to restoring America to the promise envisioned by our greatest leaders.
"During Campaign '96, Arianna teamed up with Al Franken to provide political coverage for Comedy Central during the Republican and Democratic conventions, as well as on election night. She and Franken also appeared in a point-counterpoint segment, Strange Bedfellows, for Politically Incorrect...
"She serves on several boards that promote community solutions to social problems, including A Place Called Home that works with at-risk children in South Central Los Angeles. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Archer School for Girls, the advisory board of the Council on American Politics at George Washington University, and the board of the Reform Institute that works on campaign and election reform issues." [1]
"She serves on several boards, including EL PAÍS, PRISA, the Center for Public Integrity, and the Committee to Protect Journalists." [2]
In January 2014 "Arianna Huffington and the billionaire investor Nicolas Berggruen... announced the launch of World Post, a comment and news website that looks set to become a platform for some of the most powerful people on the planet. Inevitably, the World Post will be launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, this month. Many of its contributors including former British prime minister Tony Blair, Microsoft’s Bill Gates and Google’s Eric Schmidt are regulars at the annual jamboree for the world’s most connected people. Many are also advisers to the Berggruen Institute, the billionaire investor’s nonpartisan policy think tank." [3]

I have the distinct feeling that I'm on to something that needs to be watched much more closely -- while we're seeing other aspects of the Movement and New Age religion emerge, it looks like the global control -- both financial and governmental may be in full swing and as one of their BIG hoped for vehicles is the INTERNET OF EVERYTHING, I'm watching closely on that front.
ReplyDeleteConstance
John-Roger was born September 24, 1934 as Roger Delano Hinkins. He reportedly died on October 22, 2014.
ReplyDeleteWikipedia lists these as organizations controlled by John-Roger:
Heartfelt Foundation
Institute for Individual & World Peace
Insight Seminars
Mandeville Press, MSIA publisher
The New Daily Herald, MSIA newsletter
MSIA
Peace Theological Seminary & College of Philosophy
University of Santa Monica
Those do not fully reflect his influence. Over the years I watched New Agers reporting on their own events, when he staged an affair, it was usually a must attend happening.
Constance
Although Arianna Huffington tried to downplay her involvement in John-Roger's MSIA operation, her claims of that are belied by the fact that she frequently publishes articles by John-Roger's successor, JOHN MORTON, in her HUFFINGTON POST.

Now, something else relevant I also discovered. Arianna Huffington is enthusiastically and aggressively pro same sex marriage. She happily tweeted an article about Barack Obama's ambassadorial appointment of a homosexual man with a same sex partner to Catholic Spain. Javier Solana happily retweeted her post on it.

Thanks for staying current with everything Constance! Should tell you that more often! With as many irons as you have in the fire that is incredible. All your work and interest to expose the New Age is starting to show us many more of the trends of not only decades but of also how very far these tentacles reach and it is massive outreach. I get the feeling many things will converge in 2015 as the pace seems to be picking up in advancing the global plans on every front!

ReplyDelete"Eradicating extreme poverty continues to be one of the main challenges of our time, and is a major concern of the international community. Ending this scourge will require the combined efforts of all, governments, civil society organizations and the private sector, in the context of a stronger and more effective global partnership for development. The Millennium Development Goals set timebound targets, by which progress in reducing income poverty, hunger, disease, lack of adequate shelter and exclusion — while promoting gender equality, health, education and environmental sustainability — can be measured. They also embody basic human rights — the rights of each person on the planet to health, education, shelter and security. The Goals are ambitious but feasible and, together with the comprehensive United Nations development agenda, set the course for the world’s efforts to alleviate extreme poverty by 2015. "

why do I think he means 'eliminate the poor' is 2015 the beginning of.....some depopulation eugenics plan?
Anon 7:18pm:
ReplyDeleteI posted something akin to the following a while back, inexplicably receiving no response (though this time I’ll post more data). This seemingly innocuous website on the surface, Guide to Military Equipment and Civil Aviation, has posted some very alarming statistics regarding the world’s population. Scroll down to the bottom to “Other Info,” and select the “Countries” link. At the top of the list is the US of A:
http://www.deagel.com/country/
Then click on the United States of America hyperlink to find current stats as of 2013, including US population at 316 million, world population at 7.1 billion, US GDP of 17 trillion, etc. Keeping in mind that population is, all things being equal, growing year by year, compare to the 2025 predictions of, respectively, 69 million (net loss of 247 million people = ~ 78% reduction!), 6.9 billion (net loss of 200 million people), and GDP of 921 billion.
Rounding out the top ten in terms of population:
China = about same
Japan = about same
Germany = about same
France = 30% loss
UK = 50% loss
Brazil = 10% gain
Russia = slight decrease
Italy = 30% loss
Canada = 20% loss
Australia loses about half; other European countries are mostly net losses. Israel loses 35%, while most other ME countries remain the same or enjoy a net gain.
So, what’s up with that?! Who runs this site?
Sorry, meant to post the home of Guide to Military Equipment and Civil Aviation in a hyperlink above:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.deagel.com/
Here's the Countries' 2025 forecast sorted by population:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.deagel.com/country/forecast.aspx?pag=1&sort=Population&ord=DESC
Note the words in fuschia at the bottom:
...The majority of the economic and demographic data used in the making of the forecasts is widely available by institutions such as the CIA, IMF, UN, USG, etc. You can see the most relevant data at every single country's page. There is a tiny part of data coming from a variety of shadow sources such as Internet gurus, unsigned reports and others. But all these sources are from the internet and are of public domain for at least a minority. For example, several years ago Dagong, the Chinese ratings agency, published a report analyzing the physical economy of the States comparing it with those of China, Germany and Japan. The conclusion was that the US GDP was something between $5 to $10 trillion instead of $15 trillion as officially reported by the USG. We assume that the official data, especially economic, released by governments is fake, cooked or distorted in some degree. Historically it is well known that the former Soviet Union was making up fake statistics years before its collapse. Western as well as other countries are making up their numbers today to conceal their real state of affairs. We are sure that many people out there can find government statistics in their own countries that by their own personal experience are hard to believe or are so optimistic that may belong to a different country.
Despite the numeric data "quantity" there is a "quality" model which has not a direct translation into numeric data. The 2014 strain of Ebola has a death rate of 50-60% but try to imagine what would happen if there is a pandemic of Ebola with hundreds of thousands or millions infected with the virus. So far the few cases of Ebola-infected people have "enjoyed" intensive healthcare with anti-viral and breathing assistance but above all with abundant human support by Physicians and nurses. In a pandemic scenario that kind of healthcare won't be available for the overwhelming number of infected leading to a dramatic increase of the death rate due to the lack of proper healthcare. The "quality" factor is that the death rate could increase to 80-90% in a pandemic scenario from the stated 50-60% rate. The figure itself is not important what is relevant is the fact that the scenario can evolve beyond the initial conditions from a 50% death toll to more than 90%. By the way, no pandemic or nuclear war is included in the forecast.
The key element to understand the process that the USA will enter in the upcoming decade is migration. In the past, specially in the 20th century, the key factor that allowed the USA to rise to its colossus status was immigration with the benefits of a demographic expansion supporting the credit expansion and the brain drain from the rest of the world benefiting the States. The collapse of the Western financial system will wipe out the standard of living of its population while ending ponzi schemes such as the stock exchange and the pension funds. The population will be hit so badly by a full array of bubbles and ponzi schemes that the migration engine will start to work in reverse accelerating itself due to ripple effects thus leading to the demise of the States...

ReplyDeleteaccording to http://www.whois.com/whois the owner is someone calling himself
ReplyDeleteGas Deagel from some other country.
the analysis is a bit extreme, but nothing unusual for the past few years. The predictions of population loss are probably based on die off of the baby boomers and so forth, and the disease issue and economics driving people out, there is a trend beginning in that direction.
Craig,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the repeated but critical input. I just did preliminary research on DeAgel and am disturbed with what I have found so far.

I found quite a trove of John-Roger and his successor, Mr. Morton, on Youtube. Incredible. They mixed a lot of what sounded like "love" for Jesus as a "way shower" with telling all very clearly that they were all "God" and they were all "Christs." First John 2:22 to the hilt! Worse yet, this was done publicly on one of the videos by Morton in Jerusalem! Of course, John-Roger is now the "Ascended Master" and "with them in spirit . . ."
ReplyDeleteSuch a predicament these cults have when their gurus die. This one looks like it is going on very smoothly with Morton who is also getting lots of nice press from Arianna Huffington.
Constance
Craig,
ReplyDeleteThose demographic predictions at Deagel are nonsense. The algorithm used to calculate them is clearly incorrect. It is true that those countries with birthrates less than the number of children per couple needed for population maintenance (a little above two, since not everybody reproduces) show reductions, and conversely. But to suggest that the UK will lose half of its population in 12 years by natural means is simply incorrect. (It's a bit more complicated than that because the age profile differs a bit from country to country, but you get the idea.) The birthrate in Iran is not self-sustaining at present, but that is projected to increase.
If one looks at the US Census world population forecast to 2050, one sees what one would expect - a steady increase, with 2025 ~8 billion:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.census.gov/population/international/data/idb/worldpopgraph.php
This means the deagle site's 6.9 billion figure is actually a net 1.1 billion reduction in population.
Anon 5:44am,
ReplyDeleteI was formulating my 5:48 response before I saw yours. Please take that comment in consideration.
I think one must keep in mind that the site is primarily one that is tracking military might, given its name of "Guide to Military Equipment and Civil Aviation." The extreme net decreases can be accounted for by loss of life by military means, as well as displacement. Those displaced will have to go somewhere else, resulting in a net increase in some countries in which increases may not be expected, all things being equal.
