    Christians slam 'mystic' supermarket campaign

Grocery giant encourages kids to awaken strange powers by collecting magical stones

(THE LOCAL, SWITZERLAND) — Swiss Christians have taken issue with a new campaign by supermarket giant Migros that encourages children to awaken strange powers by collecting 48 different magical stones.
While the slogan, “Discover your inner animal”, is considered particularly contentious by Christian critics, the front cover of Migros’ customer magazine, which depicts a child’s face roaring like a wild beast, has also received a large number of complaints.

Thank you all for your kind words.

One article that I posted on the previous thread stated that Frank Schaeffer - whose father Francis Schaeffer was the famous American Evangelical theologian who founded L'Abri - has been enouraging the Occupy Movement to target BOTH Evangelical and Catholic churches.

Apparently, Frank Schaeffer has been sliding into apostasy for a couple of years now acording to Canada Free Press and other sources. I will leave you to read the Canada Free Press article for yourselves. Pay attention to some of the New Agey-sounding twaddle which he is reportedly peddling.

  9. Migros is described on wikipedia
"To this day, Migros keeps the cooperative society as its form of organization. Nowadays, a large part of the Swiss population are members of the Migros cooperative – around 2 million of Switzerland's total population of 7.2 million,[1][2] thus making Migros a supermarket chain that is owned by its customers."
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Migros
which makes me wonder how much of this is to be blamed on some segment of the management, and how much on the tastes of the cooperative owners a huge number of people who must have some voting influence. OF course, both would have to play a role.

"While the slogan, “Discover your inner animal”, is considered particularly contentious by Christian critics, the front cover of Migros’ customer magazine, which depicts a child’s face roaring like a wild beast, has also received a large number of complaints."

I would imagine even the average New Age parent could do without such an encouragement of wild tantrums.

Which brings me to another point. In the USA and maybe England, the neo pagan branch of New Age both explicit and indicative by liking of shamanistic and pagan themes, tend to emphasized the supposed sweetness and light of all this. Even the wiccans rewrite savege monster female deities as kindly earth mother things. (I have read a lot on a lot of egroups.) unbelieveable. But in Europe, and in the shadows here, the obviously darker side of paganism is not denied at all. Here it is likely to be called traditional witchcraft, and maybe traditional druidism.

It is of course all evil as hell. But the fluff bunny crowd at least has some ideas of good and evil that square with Christianity, indeed, a lot of the social and nonviolent values espoused by people who criticize Christianity, came to them from Christianity, albeit filtered through Christian values shaped liberal and agnostic writers and trends. They just don't know where they got them from.

The pagan values are heavily ethnocentric, extended family and tribe as "mine, right or wrong" and outsiders as potential prey, so of course also potential enemies because all such groups in ancient times viewed each other this way.

The lies about pacifism of primitives and Amerindians before the white man are unbelieveable.

  10. The Occupy behavior is disgusting. It is also typical of what I call package deal thinking.

Something starts out as an attack on one or two specific evils. Then it expands, but not just to follow the money to where the problem is, but to include every last damn thing that bothers anyone with influence in it.

In the case of anything that attacks some corrupt feature of capitalism or of the American government, it quickly morphs into going whole hog leftist, and to include all kinds of irrelevant stuff like abortion and gay rights and no death penalty, and so forth. The former two are of course evil in themselves.

The point is, pro abortion and gay rights have nothing to do with what Occupy was originally all about, or claimed to be, never mind what the founders had in mind. But now these are issues they have in their plans for formulating demands that will be formal in March.

    Christine,

Regarding your post from the last thread you were challenged to explain.

“who really runs things. this gets to the point after the second ad.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20gHSO6YxQ0&feature=uploademail”

Your responses were 1) I must be a republican for the challenge; and 2) I have a comprehension problem.
Here is the lead in text from the video you posed:

"...For several years now internationally noted author, researcher, lecturer David Icke has been routinely vilified and ridiculed for his assertions that the human race is somehow controlled by reptiles from outer space, a laughably preposterous notion from a crackpot Brit, right? ...BUT ancient shamanic traditions from South America, Africa, and the Middle East all share accounts of extraterrestrial, extra dimensional alien invaders influencing humanity since before recorded history and these traditions note how this genuinely clever alien invasion has succeeded without ever being perceived. Great invasions do not happen with thundering smoke and nuclear weaponry. This is the mark of an immature society. Great invasions happen in secrecy. They say sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees. Maybe the real reptilian is actually staring back at us from our own bathroom mirrors…”

Now that we’ve made it clear we think one another are mentally challenged, let’s get on with the reasons why. How is it that you interpret this as a repudiation of Icke’s reptilian theory?

Jim Nichols is follows the Pleaidian transmissions of Barbara Hand Clow and Barbara Marciniak which this consistent with David Icke's reptilian theory and this entire stinking video.

The Pleaidians claim that a meddling sub species of “reptilian” humans are causing earth's troubles and they intend to correct it. Their assertion is that the existing world order is the New World Order which needs to be replace by their New World Order.

You just endorsed this entire thing and you’ve dug in to defending it by insulting any challenge to it. I am suspect of your motives because you routinely drop bad links here and are combative when held accountable. This is not bearing false witness, you brought this one on yourself.

Are you the same InfoWolf1 who is chasing after the Pleaidian’s Nibiru?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmRUtlMF93M

What exactly was your motivation in passing this video off as the real truth and do you, as before, firmly stand behind it?

    ReplyDelete
  14. anon. 10:49
you just demonstrated your reading comprehension problem AGAIN.
first, I pointed to specific parts of the video as of primary importance that are NOT part of Icke's ideas.

Second the video repudiates shape shifting reptillians inhabiting to point to our own evil. (conversely one could argue, that Icke and others on this track are not seeing shape shifting reptillians, but picking up on a demonic presence in the alleged shape shifters, that is so strongly sensed they THINK they see a shapeshift happen. this scenario would fit the Christian discernment anti demon perspective quite well.)

Third, I repeatedly said that the video contains elements that are loopy New Age and to ignore this.
Precisely the stuff in it I warn against, is what you point to my promoting.

Fourth, I NEVER endorse the entirety of ANYTHING. I think you are looking for 100% reliable sources or nothing.

Guess what, you get NOTHING, then, no matter who the source, me, Cumbey, your favorite politician, your preferred present sources, no one is perfect all the time in judgement, intention or sources of their own. The only thing you can view in that light is The Bible and if you are looking for perfection in anything else, you are whether you realize it or not, looking for new Scripture. There isn't any.

I repeat, I NEVER ENDORSE THE ENTIRETY OF ANYTHING.

Fifth, yes, that is me, and nibiru or planet x is not a Pleiadean thing just one more thing the deceivers have latched onto to make trouble with, to redirect scared people away from God or for other purposes (like getting Christians to ignore the possible catastrophes coming and not be prepared, which would also fit the population reduction agenda people who might as strictly humans be providing telepathic false messages - think RADIO type transmission, physicist) pretending to be aliens, OR might be among those claiming to be hearing from aliens.

If you bothered to listen to all in that video about nibiru, you would have heard that originally I ignored the whole thing because of its association with Sitchin, but when I found out about some discoveries by scientists published in normal news sources several decades ago, and then everything is quiet and then suddenly a rash of IR telescopes in orbit and a radio and IR telescope in Antarctica, no place for such a thing unless tracking something coming in from the south, below the ecliptic, it makes sense, and the constant making of deep undergound bunkers and FEMA grabbing supplies right and left, well, it became pretty obvious something along this line is getting here.

    But it isn't in 2012. More like 2013 0r 2014.

  15. Anonymous11:50 AM

The video in its entirety endorses the Pleaidian agenda and the lower species Reptilian baloney. Again it is YOUR comprehension abilities which fail you.

Now where in this did you warn of new age elements?

“who really runs things. this gets to the point after the second ad."

You're attempting to clean up after the face.

Now that we’ve made it clear we think one another are mentally challenged, let’s get on with the reasons why. How is it that you interpret this as a repudiation of Icke’s reptilian theory?"

The answer to that question lies in the statement you quoted.

It is as plain as the nose on your face. Or maybe you don't know what Icke's reptillian theory is?

Icke believes that the various people in power (incl. the behind the scenes power types also the corporate bosses and the unelected govt. elements) are not human beings, but are shape shifters who are actually reptillian aliens and who occasionally loose control of the illusion and show a bit of their reality.

Either the original human individuals were kidnapped and replaced, or were never human in the first place.

THAT is his theory, and it does a damn lot of discrediting of his other exposes on satanism and pedophilia in high places. Reason enough to suspect he is a shill for the people he pretends to expose, by making it look too ridiculous to credit ANY information about them.

    ReplyDelete
  17. "“who really runs things. this gets to the point after the second ad."

You're attempting to clean up after the face."

nope, that was the whole point of this in the first place. the reptillian brain, or fallen evil inclination a Christian would say, is an interesting angle on this. AND its preponderance in almost all people of power.

it isn't power that corrupts. It is the corrupt who seek power. And it isn't just them.

    Christine,

You are no Cumbey. The difference with Cumbey is that she will not direct people to the new age material to show them what is "really going on". She has written before she would not want to inadvertently lead people down the wrong path.

You, on the other hand, do not handle criticism without calling people stupid. You've done so with PHDs and others.

If you understood one tenth of what this video really says you wouldn't have dug in that it repudiates Icke. It actually bolsters his claims.

No, you are a wannabe Cumbey but you fall far short.

  20. "Now where in this did you warn of new age elements?"

when I AT LEAST TWICE remarked negatively about the "consciousness" raising type solutions offered. And the reptilians aren't a lower species, by the Icke scenario, but a ruling elite, or so they see themselves and seem to be able to get us to go along with it quite well.

everything he ascribes to the reptilians is what would be called materialist New Age, and his solutions of course are spiritual type New Age and both are evil, with the latter form disempowering you against the first, and making it easier to be deceived by psychic influence from the members of the former that are able to do so or from evil spirits back of them.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I am not a wannabe Cumbey, I do my own thing. Some of the best exposes of some of the evil that goes on, comes from people who are not that great themselves. Granted this may have not been the best pick.

I don't care for libertarianism, but on Lew Rockwell's blog is an excellent examination of flaws in Bush's claim to be Christian based on his own statements.

I don't like Alex Constantine's amorality, but you can't beat him and Dave Emory (regardless of his personal wierdness) for information on the fascist underpinning and dirty laundry of the US Right Wing.
The Left version is well documented enough.

And Reagan was another disaster. semi occultist drawing people into an enchanted state of mind, gutting the rehab side of the drug war which meant more money for the black ops crowd bringing in the dope and the big banks who launder it and the projects abroad.

Disney is NOT family material and never was, with its fairy story focus. All that is conveyorbelt to occultism and paganism.

    http://tinyurl.com/7rfefp5

Frangipane has propounded the "birth of the man-child" doctrine which is part of the Manifested Sons of God teaching. I see the 'man-child' as akin to the Agni Yoga Law of Divisibility.

While Frangipane denies this, here's a portion from a '94 book of his:

...Before Jesus Himself returns, the last virgin Church shall become pregnant with the promise of God. Out of her travail, the Body of Christ shall come forth, raised to the full stature of its Head, the Lord Jesus. Corporately manifested in holiness, power and love, the Bride of Christ shall rise.

That's Corporate Christ/MSoG plain as day.

    By Daniel Taylor

America’s demonization signals rise of global government

The ever increasing possibility of an Israeli led attack on Iran is bringing to light a very important piece in the plan for a new world order. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced recently his desire for a “new world order.” As Press tv reports, “President Ahmadinejad also pointed out that this new world order needs to be all-inclusive, and not be dominated by any particular single nation.”

As I reported in 2008 after the western backed incursion into South Ossetia, “The corruption and wars that have tarnished the American people’s name will now be used to further the aims of the global elite. America’s demonization, and in turn its use as an example of the necessity of global governance, may very well be the next stage of the establishment’s plan for world government.”

The warring factions of power around the globe will act as a catalyst for the creation of world government. It will come in the name of peace, denouncing the wars that have enraged the globe over the past decade. Don’t be fooled, it will be the same power structure presenting the world with a new solution.

NOW you are getting a look at what really goes on. Now you are getting a look into the information I am used to. Scared by the video? naaah, not me, I'm used to it. A tad skeptical originally about this story, frankly I think yes, the militia crowd was in it, but those militia apologists who argued the feds were in it, ignore that it is already public information on the Internet, that ex special forces guys of similar mindset have been involved in training militia people, and sure, some kind of sting may have gone horribly wrong from some people's perspective, but not from that of others their peers in covert ops in govt agencies, who wanted this to go through.

A guy from Germany, a son of the then Chancellor or some other bigwig close to that office in rank, was involved in that group McVeigh was in, and was snuck out of the USA by a covert move by some German military special ops people before he could get in trouble.

The overarching nazi plans incl. - and always did, before during and after WW II - some of our high level people, incl. Senator Prescott Bush, Bush I's granddad.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I am reluctantly coming to the conclusion that the 9-11 truth crowd is onto something, but the focus on technology takes the focus off the Bush Cheney Halliburton bin Laden connections. Likewise, WTC had a fed hand in it, and I think someone in that sting was playing for real, being either a militia secret sympathizer or wanting to have situations develop that would be an excuse for martial law and suspension of the Constitution which would help the elites. Another motive would be thinking that despite martial law, the chaos that could be made to develop would make it possible to balkanize the USA which some people want.

If you have a decent education and a knowledge of the Bible, it is easy tol dismiss Mr Icke and his ilk as absurd. However, there are lots of naive kids (and elders) who find his worldview engaging.

Chris White has made a long serious study of Icke and his philosophy. It is avaialable on YouTube, and well worth watching for any New Age momitors because Chris White demonstrates logically and humorously that David Icke is a) possessed and b) subscribes to all Alice Bailey/Lucis Trust ideologiies.

  38. Regarding the article by Daniel Taylor on OLD THINKER NEWS, where he says:

The warring factions of power around the globe will act as a catalyst for the creation of world government. It will come in the name of peace, denouncing the wars that have enraged the globe over the past decade. Don’t be fooled, it will be the same power structure presenting the world with a new solution.

Isn't it possible that there is NO commonality between the leaders of the warring powers from the East - empires of old, Russia and China and Persia (Iran) - and the coming leaders of the New Age?

To propose that the same people are in power is to propose a blatant contradiction - that certain people "in control of things" would bring destruction upon things they supposedly "own" and "control" in order to stop that very same destruction to save those very same things.

That, to me, makes no sense. Not even in the "in order to make an omelette, some eggs must be broken" sense.

If They are so completely in control of everything, why exchange one world order for another? And they must be in *complete* control for what Taylor suggests to be true - for example, that Ahmadinejad is under their thumb and they can just "flip a switch" and create a war.

I think what is happening is humanity's attempt to completely and finally make a break with the sinful nature of man and all its bad side effects (like war), and with our history (and all of its lessons and wisdom). This attitude is endemic in New Age circles, and is also becoming endemic in the Occupy crowd. It is one of their central themes.

It's the "last hurrah" of the Utopians to try and perfect Mankind. It's a collective attempt to once more build a modern Tower of Babel.

    Where Taylor says:

“The corruption and wars that have tarnished the American people’s name will now be used to further the aims of the global elite. America’s demonization, and in turn its use as an example of the necessity of global governance, may very well be the next stage of the establishment’s plan for world government.”

    I would say this:

“The corruption and wars that have tarnished the American people’s name (along with the exaggeration of America's sins through various propaganda outlets around the world, including outlets here in America, like Alex Jones) will now be used to further the aims of the plans of Russia and China to justify to the rest of the world their attack upon us. America’s demonization, and in turn its use as an example of the necessity of a new power structure based on Eastern powers, may very well be the next stage of the Eastern powers' plans for world domination.”

How far they get in their plans to destroy the West, and in particular America, is known only by God. But from the ashes of that attempt will rise the New Age.

  41. I have no interest in David Icke's philosophy, which is obviously wrong. And I think the laughable aspects are designed, whether by his demon controllers or himself as conscious agent of the conspiracy or whatever you want to call it, to make the well documented facts about satanist and pedophilia networks in high places in the USA and Europe and England look ridiculous.

The features of the reptilian mind described however, are similar to points about original sin, and the sense many have of dealing with something reptilian in human form, may in fact be a Biblically ignorant but sensitive person's interpretation of sensing demonic presence or influence in a human.

Icke did a good job of bringing some of the behavior and motivations of these people, who someone here called the materialist side of the New Age then makes it look like if you think royalty and nobility and ceos and stuff are into pedophilia and snuff films must be a part of his craziness so the whole subject is discredited as kookiness, along with his actual kookiness.

I did not see the whole thing but thought it perhaps not so coincidental that the vilian (Dennis Hopper) is a humanoid from a parallel universe where people descended from reptiles rather than mammals and one of his weapons is a machine that causes the person in it to either evolve and become smarter or de evolve and become part reptile or even further back to "pond scum". It seems to be another example of how Hollywood has been to indoctrinating us and our children with New age ideas by weaving them into so many movies.

The Good Fight Ministries has some valuable analysis of some music/movies occult/new age influence.

Deepak Chopra, Russell Simmons to Fundraise for Obama in NYC ('Occupy'rs to host glitzy NYC event)

    Washington Free Beacon
    2/7/12 | Andrew Stiles

President Obama will attend a star-studded fundraising gala in New York City on Mar. 1, the Washington Free Beacon has learned.

The Obama Victory Fund 2012 will host the event at ABC Carpet & Home in Manhattan’s upscale Flatiron District, according to the official online invitation. Special guests are expected to include hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, New Age self-help guru Deepak Chopra, and culinary bigwig Jean-Georges Vongerichten, among others.

Prospective partygoers can choose from three levels of tickets, “Event Chair” ($35,800), “Event Host” ($10,000), or for those with shallower pockets, “Gala Attendee” ($1,000 a piece).

Their massive wealth notwithstanding, Simmons and Chopra were both vocal supporters of the “Occupy” movements, and were named to TheBlaze.com’s list of the “Top Ten Richest Celebrities Supporting ‘Occupy Wall Street.’”.....

Constance was talking about Richard Falk on her show in the first half hour. Here is his current blog:

    http://richardfalk.wordpress.com

In a post from Nov. 8, he writes the following:

"The Occupy movement, whether consciously or not, is restoring the utopian imagination to its rightful role as the patron goddess of desire, the essential spiritual core of any restorative planetary politics of sufficient gravitas. Such a goddess has contempt for what ‘realists’ call realism, and aligns herself with a militant politics of impossibility."

There's a lot to digest in there.

  56. In the coming election, we need to think one main thing. Who will keep us out of war, or stop it without trying for "victory" however defined, if we are at war by the time of the inauguration. That would include suing for terms of peace.

the controlled mass media isn't talking about this much, but Russia and China have both made it clear they will back Iran if it is attacked.

We cannot possibly win. We stay out of this war, or large sections of the US geography will be annexed to Russia and China. Period.

The elites have been pushing for this for some time. And the CLASH OF CIVILIZATIONS requires an islamic threat (which some of it is, and shariah is evil as hell in some ways and not even koranic in some of it but that can't be argued because the legal system is embedded in the religion), in order
to have such a clash, which gets the elites money.

That is what we need to think about. Do we want to remain citizens of the USA without having to relocate from our homes to remaining USA held geography? or do we want to become citizens of Russia or China, assuming that option for residents of annexed or occupied places exists.

"Russia and China have both made it clear they will back Iran if it is attacked."

What does 'back' mean? With words, with armaments shipments, or by actually joining in? You don't know. I know you don't know, becaue you would have to be sitting in on politburo meetings in Moscow and Beijing to know. High-level diplomacy involves information to which we are not privy, secret deals cut in private, and elements of bluff.

"We stay out of this war, or large sections of the US geography will be annexed to Russia and China."

Regardless of the rights and wrongs, you simply cannot say that with any authority. Yes you can fill in the details of the scenario you assert, but you cannot begin to demonstrate that it is the only possible outcome.

As for "stay out", a large amount of oil reaches American throgh the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran has threatened to close.

Two above-ground Iranian nuclear plants have already (been) blown up in recent weeks. That is public domain info, although not in the main media. Is it groundwork by agents from Israel, the nation Ahmedinejad wants to nuke? If some explosive mixed with radioactive material is smuggled into Iran's below-ground facilities and detonated then those facilities would be unusable for a generation, and contamination could easily be blamed on the nuclear material already there. Meanwhile we might hope for an Arab Spring in Iran, which is currently losing its main ally Syria to such a phenomenon. The Iranian people have no affection for Ahmedinejad's regime. I know that Constance doesn't like Arab Springs but fundamentalist Shia Islam in Iran is presently a lot more threatening than New Age.

    ReplyDelete
  61. By "back" I mean direct attack. And I don't need to sit in on the politburo to know what they have been saying, that you don't hear about in the controlled American press, but can get in the foreign press online.

To complicate things, Russia has developed fuel air explosives, deployed in Chechnya as grenades but scalable to any huge size you like. This eliminates inhibitions about nuclear war, because FAEs are stronger than nukes and not radioactive, and more blast than heat. Cheaper too. I think our FAEs are still largely experimental because research is driven by monetary interest (which means take as long as possible to keep raking in cash for research) and their's aren't.

On what basis do you think any outcome but annexation of the US or parts of it would happen if we went to war with Iran and found ourselves attacked by Russia and China?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Anonymous8:18 AM

    Christine,

By reading foreign media you learn more than by reading American media but you still find out only what the Russian and Chinese leaders are prepared to put out publicly. If you take that at face value then thank God you are not representing your country in diplomacy.

"To complicate things, Russia has developed fuel air explosives...I think our FAEs are still largely experimental because research is driven by monetary interest "

You are a mere 40 years behind the times. The US used them to create instant clearings in which to land helicopters in the jungles of Vietnam.

"On what basis do you think any outcome but annexation of the US or parts of it would happen if we went to war with Iran and found ourselves attacked by Russia and China?"

Give me your scenario in detail and I promise to find assumptions in it that, if false, would lead to different outcomes.

    ReplyDelete
  63. 40 years behind the times - no, those were normal incendiaries. FAEs weren't even developed then, aside from some work along that line by Nazi mad scientists.

An FAE starts with release of the explosive gas, I saw a film of one, the second stage electrostatically charges the gas, quite a beautiful almost liquid flow of the gas in the air, then....ignition.

pound for pound they pack more wallop than a nuclear device.

scenario. We attack Iran, Russia which already has ships in the vicinity thanks to our messing with Syria, moves on locally positioned American ships and sends airborne after the troops massing on the ground already 100,000.

China, which is already massing ships in military exercizes ostensibly to flex muscle in various China Sea places, starts moving across the Pacific, while both send long range missiles.

Russia may or may not have troops and ships in the Siberian coastal locations, don't know. If they do, expect a move across the Behring Straits and down the Canadian coast.

Submarines of both make a show, functional and distractive on both coasts. The western half is easier to take than the eastern, and has more important military and missile bases anyway. (Look out for bunker busters, and while blast doors would protect DUMBs or Deep Underground Military Bases, nothing would keep those doors from being SEALED by blast keeping forces and equipment inside.)

Landing and takeover would probably involve Russia taking northern CA and China southern (already has a certain presence in South and Central America), and Russia would probably keep its old property, not granted taken from it by force but still of interest, Alaska and the Pacific NW to Fort Ross (used to be a Russian trading port, "Ross" refers to Russia and the bear on the CA state flag is the Russian bear because of that historical background), maybe a bit south as far as SF and maybe new border between Russia and China would be a straight line to the Nevada border, but how it would play beyond that I don't know.

Existing American freeway infrastructure, built in part to facilitate troop movements of ours, would play a role in all this, expect fighting to be along Interstates.

Beyond that, I can't go right now. We are deplorably thin, being deployed across the world in too many places, and the often denounced troop withdrawals over the years not adequate to support at home.

Eastern US probably retained by US in peace terms, and whatever president sued for peace instead of fight to the death, would be denounced as a traitor by a lot of people and targetted for assasination. Elites would probably be back of this facilitating martial law and permanent suspension of Constitution. For once, the US would be small enough that it could not view itself as able to absorb extensive anarchy and violence, so would crack down on uprisings it could no longer tolerate and treat merely locally.

meanwhile, certain people would rake in the money due to predictable fluctuations in world markets.

factions within the elites and wannabe rogue military would be putting each other along with dissidents in FEMA camps. no idea who would come out on top. Segments of both annexed and not annexed US might descend temporarily into a warlord situation.

Friendship might develop between rump US and Russia and China in the shared interest of putting such banditry down.

    Christine,

The idea is to disperse an explosive agent throughout a volume of the atmosphere, then detonate it. The versions used in Vietnam to make instant clearings for helicopters did disperse an agent that carried its own oxidising agent, whereas FAEs disperse as vapour a form of petrol and then in effect toss a match into it. But the point is blast damage, not incendiary damage. Only a blast can create a clearing instantly, in which a helicopter can be put down. With incendiaries it takes an hour or two for a fire to burn an area flat AND then cool enough to put a helicopter down in - a delay which makes it tactically useless. The USA did also use genuine Fuel-Air Explosive bombs in Vietnam such as the CBU-55, which you can type into Wikipedia. Your suggestion that the Russians have thought of these and the US hasn't and the Russians are miles ahead is false. The Wikipedia entry ofr "thermobaric weapons" (another name for them) lists several such weapons currrently in the US arsenal. Also, they are more effective pound-for-pound than only the smallest nukes; they cannot begin to match a 20-megaton nuclear warhead (TNT equivalent).

What if the USA simply gives every logistical assistance short of men to Israel in dealing with Iran? What if the USA says to Russia, "We are going in and coming out again and don't you interfere or else" and Russia doesn't want to start WW3? What if China sees Russia and the USA gearing up and thinks "great, let them destroy each other and then we become no.1 at no effort"? As for invasion of the USA, how will several millions of enemy troops get here without being shot up in their troop carriers? If you think that they will come via Canada or Mexico, do you think the USA will just let them amass in camps near the border until they are ready to invade? Don't forget that Alaska is American not Canadian.

I don't know what will happen. You cannot know either - you just think you do.

you still don't get it. This is not just dispersed ingitable gas but electrically charged gas which makes it many many times more powerful when it explodes. The explosive force of anything is the outward from center motion of the molecules in breakdown. The pre charging before ignition puts this out of the realm of normal weapons, and into that shadow realm of advanced weaponry, that our people think we have a corner on. We don't.

A Viet Nam incendiary bomb (nothing but gellied gasoline aka gelignite aka napalm but explosive trigger), IF given the electrical precharging would have done maybe ten times the damage that it did back then.

They can be built to ANY size, which means they can be used as full size nuke substitutes. The important thing is, they leave no radiation fallout problems. So no inhibition on using them.

"They can be built to ANY size, which means they can be used as full size nuke substitutes."

No they can't. To disperse enough petrol above an entire city to flatten it when a match is tossed in, you need MUCH more mass of petrol than the size of a nuke capable of flattening that city. Also, how do you disperse the petrol? If you use explosive to disperse it then to disperse it over an entire city you need so much explosive that it would set the fuel off. What you say is not accurate.

What you are saying is that we are potentially willing to start WW 3 which is what I have been complaining of all along. Such threats must be meant to be backed up with military action.

What if we guess wrong and they are willing to do so given the increasing alliances away from USA and their willingness to live in a multi power loci world unlike our desire to be the only power?

Also the issue about FAEs is not that we are behind Russia, the film I saw was from an American test, the point is that they have been actually using them and working on them and the big money is still with nuclear and so forth here. Even if we are equal on FAEs, it doesn't matter, if all sides used them instead of nukes at all, it merely means that massive destruction becomes practical instead of fallout fears.
The really serious kind as I said, is not even addressed in the wikipedia article, the kind that ELECTRICALLY activates the nanoparticles and the explosive gas BEFORE ignition and this was an addition worked out in the 1980s, and don't think the Russians don't know about this process, since it was published in the context of history of the INSLAW scandal, and they keep better track of our samizdat than the average American does.

Intelligence on all sides has always included heavy data mining of non classified news etc. material, and then connecting the isolated dots.

No Christine, you don't get it. I have a PhD in physics and this statement of yours is riddled with errors. The energy released in a chemical reaction is unchanged if the molecules are charged, except by at most the energy involved in charging them, which is going to be much smaller.

I am not confusing anything. And as for telepathy, again, think in terms of radio broadcasting equivalent, something I am sure earlier physicists before that time would have dismissed as impossible.

Even standard FAE are not a matter of dumping petrol, they are essentially deliberate duplication of the particulate conditions in which dust in mines and some manufacturing situations have exploded.

The enhanced version charges the particles before ignition. This is the same principle as used in some experimental aircraft, where electrostatic charging of the jet fuel makes it far more explosive, so it goes farther. I think this figured in either ramjets or scramjets see a pamphlet on Skunk Works projects but not the book of that title. I lent my copy and never got it back years ago. The subject was, could the Aurora exist? and based on what was known to exist, incl. this stuff, yes it could. That was maybe 1982 that I read that.

Sure, I am not omniscient, but neither are you, and I can make educated guesses, and you aren't giving me any kind of defense scenario.

"What if the USA simply gives every logistical assistance short of men to Israel in dealing with Iran? "

There are already 100,000 troops massing near the Iranian border. obvioiusly "short of men" is not in the plans.

And if it figures it make a quick win and does so?

" What if China sees Russia and the USA gearing up and thinks "great, let them destroy each other and then we become no.1 at no effort"?"

Unlike the US, China and Russia are willing to live in a multi major power loci world.

you forget, China and Russia are no longer at odds with each other. The earlier stresses were because of nit picking over Communist orthodoxy about how the revolution should go. Marx said in the industrial cities, Mao said in the small towns. I suppose there were other ideological issues. Russia no longer being communist, it has no dog in any Marxist-Leninist squabble.

Brazil, Russia, Iran, China, the BRIC nations, a trading linkup that held joint military exercizes in the 1990s, what sort of picture does that paint for you?

" As for invasion of the USA, how will several millions of enemy troops get here without being shot up in their troop carriers?"

Normally troops come in AFTER the mechanized opposition is messed up. Besides, China is overpopulated and wouldn't mind losing a lot of warfighters. Incl. some of those breeding age females. The female combat troops have been estimated as about the number of USA population itself.

" If you think that they will come via Canada or Mexico, do you think the USA will just let them amass in camps near the border until they are ready to invade?"

The problem is not so much that these countries would amass them, as that they would give them free passage once there. Also, coastal edge of Canada would be easily controlled by offshore artillery, while the Russians (not Chinese) would come from the Behring Straits and Alaska to the lower 48.

Do you bother to read anything? I have already made it clear I DID NOT CONFUSE THE TWO.

ADD ELECTRICAL CHARGE TO AN EXPLOSIVE AND YOU INCREASE THE EXPLOSIVE CHARGE.

    No confusion whatsoever.

And that is the approach taken in the experiments at the Cabazon Indian Reservation, when Wackenhut and others took it over.

When the Promis software INSLAW lawsuits hit the press in the 1980s, and all sorts of details came out secondary to it, so did this.

And you can be sure Russia has pursued this. This is precisely what can be scaled up to eliminate military intallations, and get into silos and deform missile parts since these things leach through holes and go around corners.

    Christine,

When a chemical reaction takes place - as in a (non-nuclear) explosive reaction - a fixed amount of energy is released, according to the molecules that react, and the resulting products.

If you electrically charge those molecules (to become ions) then that too takes energy, and you will also get that energy back. But it is going to be MUCH less energy than is released in the reaction, becuae of the properties of electron orbits around the atomic nuclei in those molecules.

You write as if charging the molecules will drastically increase the yield of the explosion in some mysterious way. It won't. The preceding two paragraphs are all that is going on at the molecular level.

Now let me explain why fuel-air explosives are more effective than conventional explosives but less so than nukes.

If you detonate 2 tons of fuel, and it takes (say) 1 ton of oxygen from the atmosphere, then you have 3 tons of reaction mix. That mix might be half as powerful as TNT in terms of energy liberated, so it is equivalent to 6 tons of TNT. It will *always* be equivalent to 6 tons of TNT and you cannot significantly enhance that figure by charging it. But you can do a lot more damage to an extended target such as a town centre by dispersing it over a few acres prior to detonation than if you let it off in a heap all in one place. THAT is the rationale of fuel-air weapons. You can't get multi-megaton equivalents out of such weapons unless you lace the air above a city with millions of tons of petrol, which is logistically impossible.

I suspect that electrically charging the fuel in a fuel-air bomb is a way of enhancing its dispersal. But it does *not* give a bigger bang, and the idea that the Russians have something up their sleeve that the Pentagon doesn't is based not on better covert information but on ignorance of basic science.

The website you referred to was merely a chatroom about science. The relevant post included this comment: "The METC Thermo-baric device produces a three-stage explosion through a process described as a highly focused, A-neutronic energy transfer." That was enough for me to be confident that the post was unreliable. Neutrons are involved only in nuclear reactions, whereas fuel-air bombs involve only explosively fast chemical reactions. Surprisingly enough, not everything you read online is true.

Whoops, for 6 tons of TNT read 1.5 tons!!

The terminology is bad, and invented I think by a certain person who named it "a-neutronic" probably in the sense of a=without neutrons. YOU SHOULD HAVE READ THE REST OF THE DETAILS, and the film I saw showed the electrical charging shartup, because there was a GLOW about it.

stage one, releases the particulate gas.

stage two, charges the gas. (and that's where it starts to get a mild St. Elmo's Fire look about it, a glow phenomenon observed by sailors over centuries on rigging during storms, but not that strong.)

    stage three, ignition.

The system was invented by a tinkerer, not a physicist. Don't expect decent naming, just ask if it works.

  93. The Pentagon might well have it in theory, but do you think they are going with their conflict of interest relationships with the contractors rely on this? Take a look at the history of the development of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, parodied in Pentagon Wars. That movie was based on an ugly reality that Eddie Fitzgerald who blew the lid off the $600 toilet seat, etc. had to struggle against.

The Russians would have got ahold of this as soon as the INSLAW scandal hit the Internet and sometimes mass media.

    Christine,

I DID read the rest of the details. They are too vague for a decent scientist to say much more about, but on the basis of what is common knowledge about molecules, namely the energy released per molecule of explosive compound, and molecular ionization energies, my skepticism expressed at 9.20am remains scientifically justified.

Incidentally, if the process is described as "a-neutronic" meaning "non-neutronic" then that too is a warning phrase that the writer is out of his or her scientific depth. Nobody describes chemical explosives as such. "Non-nuclear" would be accurate but nobody even thinks that chemical explosives have what it takes to initiate a nuclear reaction in the absence of fissile material.

Because you never admit that you might be mistaken, I am no longer sure what you are saying about these weapons that might be even in principle disputable.

  95. I am hesitant to refer to more detailed sources, because they are dismissable as conspiracy and flake stuff. The inventor was Michael Riconosciuto, a whizz kid who probably never went to college or maybe a little. google that name and PROMIS and INSLAW and see where you go.

Various statements of his regarding stuff he rigged into the Promis software, have been dismissed by computer experts as impossible.

However, it turned out later it was very possible, and some forms of remote spying long in use without physical contact or virus planting on computers requires that what was said was impossible in fact works.

Again, that film I saw showed something that makes no sense, except in terms of what he described.

Even a normal FAE sent down a missle silo could be expected to ruin a lot of the propulsion system maybe trigger a conventional explosion since it goes around corners. A real big FAE.

But all this doesn't matter as much as that NO WAY can we win against the combined might of Russia and China and assorted others who are fed up with us METC FAE or not.

Both have stated they will protect Iran, and Iran is too important to their oil interests to ignore them.

you still haven't dealt with the radio broadcast equivalence interpretation of telepathy.

Something goes on you do not know about. Because I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED, when I screamed in pain because of a sudden deep feed after only a light contact, the invisible tendril went into the throat energy center and the agony was like repressurization coming down in an airplane, only the position was not entirely the same, this was on the ground, and there are other things.

I can't explain everything, but you'd better start looking at the long dismissed ether physics sort of thing if you want to understand everything, because the answer has to be there.

Back to Riconosciuto, of course, you don't deal with the pragmatic experience of increasing burn of diesel by electrifying it, in that other link.

And if you google on the concepts of this and jet fuel and black budget projects, you will have some eye openers also.

I don't know everything, and I can't explain everything, but I know YOU don't know everything either.

Your kind of physics IS valuable. But it has its limits. In another 20 years, you might find there are changes, and I don't mean the New Age nonsense. Don't confuse me with people who say standard physics is all full of crap and we need mystical whatnot.

A lot of "clairvoyance" is just ability to see into some limited zone of IR or UV where cats and dogs see also and most people don't
but some do, and those who do can tell you whether it is a tiny bug or an "entity" that the cat is watching moving around, or the dog is barking at.

By the way, did you know there are people who have white reflex retinas and DO NOT have anything wrong with their vision except astigmatism? You won't find this discussed in medical sites.

But the "white reflex" is getting common enough that some photogs online complained of having to figure how to compensate for that like they do for normal red eye.

Wonder what's going on. Holdover imperfect dominant genes from neanderthals? Alien hybridization long ago? Or some other thing? I know that whatever was going on back of this, has to date from the early 1800s at least and maybe a lot longer ago for reasons I won't deal with here. Such people have glare sensitivity because they have an imperfectly developed nocturnal eye, like a shark. Not a full night eye like a cat.

impossible? fine. go feel comfortable. But I know what I've seen. I discussed with an eye doctor and the concept "imperfectly developed noctural eye" was what we put together on the oddity.

Some "white retinas" are from diseases, and only such are discussed online that I can find, but THESE ARE NOT DISEASED. Some of them are a tad clairvoyant, but that may have nothing to do with it.

    Think outside the box.

    Christine,

I've said all I want to say about US vs Iran + *possibly* hostile superpowers. In summary of various posts above: Not only do I not know what would happen in such a war - you don't know either, no matter how many times you say you do. Suppose Russia had decided that Iran was not worth going to the wall for - it wouldn't say that to America, would it? It would use exactly the same deterrent language as if it *was* prepared. So you have no idea what the Kremlin really intends. Also, for all either of us knows there are secret superpower deals going on behind our backs right now over this isssue right now, any of which would negate the scenario you claim is the only one. Read a book about the history of diplomacy and learn from some real world examples.

I am a physicist not a biologist (or a software engineer). I have no better idea than Scientific American readers what happens once a physical signal reaches one of the human senses. But I know plenty about light and sound propagation of signals from their source, through a vacuum or air, to reach a person; and about the only possible physical forces that can be involved. You can forget about aether. We have repeated the experiments which first ruled that out, using modern apparatus - and ruled it out to extremely high certainty. You wrote "Your kind of physics IS valuable" but there is only one kind of physics because there is only one set of physical laws - and physicists know a lot about them after 350 years. If you are getting sensations of the type you describe then the only possible sources are God, Satan's legions, or parts of your own soul/spirit that you (in common with others) are not routinely aware of, called by secular people the unconscious.

Thank you for sharing the link on the Singularity Movement. There is a lot of interesting information there. It sure seems the attempt is being made to create a new super race of half human/ half computer beings.
