"New Age Pride" ??!!

Author Teena Booth is another New Ager not afraid to witness her convictions, in the somewhat dubious tradition of Gordon Davidson and Rene Wadlow.  She does not understand why the New Agers are afraid to call themselves by their right name:  "New Ager."  I just spent a couple of hours perusing her website.  I suspect she is one who was indoctrinated into New Age thinking in her formative years.  It appears to me as though her biblical knowledge and convictions are extremely limited.  She wants the New Agers to stop slinking around and "take pride" in their cause.  Clearly, she fails to see the "Hidden Dangers" of her shiny New Age "rainbow."  There were links to her elaborate website for a couple calling themselves "Loehr- Daniel."  I rather suspect that Teena has seen only "positives" on this movement.  Loehr-Daniel are another story.  They exemplify a disturbing trend I have found in more deeply "initiated" New Agers such as Marilyn Ferguson was:  sympathy for Lucifer.  Their "Bible Study" course and on line book, available for free reading from Teena's website has three chapters telling us how much God loves Lucifer.  Our job, per the Loehr-Daniels, is to help God in his quest to forgive and redeem Lucifer!

I have a chapter in THE HIDDEN DANGERS OF THE RAINBOW about "how to help New Agers." It might help you in dealing with the Teena Booths of the world who see only "positives," not the very obvious "negatives" (in more realistic terms EVIL) of the New Age Movement.  I rather suspect Teena Booth has not deeply or critically read many of the New Age works that I have perused which motivated me to take on the New Age Movement almost as a crusade.  Hopefully, she does not know of the New Age goals of massive global population reduction; sympathy for Lucifer; targeting of Monotheist religions (Jews, Christians, and yes, even Moslems) by having all three groups exterminate each other so that the New Agers can be the "Phoenix" to rise from our collective ashes.

The above video which I found on an internet search for the creator of the website, NEWAGEPRIDE, shows Teena lecturing to what appears to be a public library somewhere.  They appear to be eating up the words of the obviously sincere, but hopefully naive author.

Yes, there are "hidden dangers" to the New Age Movement.  It is our job to reach as many of these deluded people as possible.  Such were once some of you!

Stay tuned!

  1. Looking at video again, it might be a bookstore. Library or bookstore, this is disturbing to see such impressionable young people buying this. Even though THE HIDDEN DANGERS OF THE RAINBOW was a best seller, there were huge efforts to suppress it. Borders was organized and run by New Agers. Even though I was a Michigan author who was a huge customer of that book chain, employees confided in me that there had been a corporate meeting back in 1983 on the book and a corporate decision had been made not to carry it. Barnes & Nobles and the B. Dalton chain were carrying it, however.

  2. Speaking of depopulation

UN 'concerned' by world population growth trend

The world population growth rate must slow down significantly to avoid reaching unsustainable levels, says a new UN report.

To have a reasonable chance of stabilising world population, fertility must drop to below "replacement level".

It must then be maintained at that level for an extended period, says the report.

This replacement level is the fertility level at which a population replaces itself from one generation to the next.

With the New Age movement so large and powerful, connected with what is happening in Egypt, why waste time on some little follower of the New Age movement. It's as much of a diversion as just following what is going on in Europe.

    "Bloodless persecution' predicted for Christians
Expert says European hostility to free, open demonstrations of faith growing."

We saw the persecution of Christians when Muslims have been able to attack them. The Muslims are being used by the New Agers just as they were used by the Nazis.

The Muslim presence is growing in the US. We should be concentrating on what is going on here in the US in that connection and learning how we can take a stand against what is growing.

We are not going to change New Agers one individual at a time as long as their support system is so large. And even if we do change one or two, just what will that do to the support system.

We are long past the time when a book or two will stop the movement. The Christian and Jewish communities have been corrupted and will no longer be curious enough to listen and spread the word. Something else has to be done.

  10. What some fail to recognize is that what makes the New Age / Nazi / Communist elements so terribly dangerous is the "Lucifer" element. We are looking at a movement of mass possession in various guises/disguises. What well may have discouraged the speedy implementation they thought it would get in the early 1980s in the wake of the fall of the Shah of Iran and the "Christ is Now Here" in the form of "Maitreya" (Betraya) announcements WAS the marginalization of New Age concepts along with so many New Agers realizing they had been deceived and turning course. it is not JUST political game, although it certainly has pronounced political elements.

  11. Biblical specifications, not scholarly tomes, were what initially enabled me to scope out the New Age Movement. When I saw some prophetic indicators, e.g. calls for a cashless economic system, global redistribution, "New Christ", channeled "prophets", etc., I started to suspect there was more lurking out there. It was not difficult to find. They were much more open about it then when they thought they had no "backlash" as Donald Keys expressed it in his book EARTH AT OMEGA: PASSAGE TO PLANETIZATION. Incidentally, the publisher of that book was one very critical convert out of the New Age Movement. I am going to put this up on the newer article as well.

    Constance and All,

Recently, Dorothy told me about a group I had never heard of before called Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth.(TOPY) ( And no I did not misspell the word "of.")

Come to find out, this group is one of the major Chaos magic organizations and its "pedigree" can be traced to black "magickians" like Aleister Crowley.

While I was checking out Teena Booth's New Age Pride site, I happened to observe how similar New Age irrationalism is to Chaos magic.

For example, at the New Age Pride site we read in an article entitled The Decline and Fall of the New Age - Part 2: Who Needs a Movement?:

    A pathless land

Idealism, especially its Eastern varieties, has always been quick to tell us that a particular spiritual path really isn’t all that necessary. As Krishnamurti put it, “truth is a pathless land and you cannot approach it by any path whatsoever.”

The more we delve into the idealistic viewpoint, especially in its Zen and Advaita expressions, the more we are told that all religious and spiritual systems are merely thought-constructs that are essentially meaningless.

    __________________________

Actually, we should not be surprised at the similarity since Chaos magic is simply the western esoteric version of its eastern
counterpart and can be traced back to the "schism" that occurred within Madame Blavatsky's Theosophical Society when Gerard Encausse ( a.k.a.Papus) left the Theosophical Society because he felt that it focused too much on eastern esotericism.

Chaos magic has its origins in a disciple of Aleister Crowley named Austin Osman Spare.

    Austin_Osman_Spare
    _____________________________

Aleister Crowley had direct ties to Theodor Reuss who in turn had direct ties to Papus.

Papus was also the author of TAROT OF THE BOHEMIANS

    http://www.sacred-texts.com/tarot/tob/index.htm

Tarot card reading is very much a part of the New Age Movement.

While practitioners of either the eastern or western occult traditions would probably be the last to admit it, certain elements of both "traditions" are what can be reasonably called modern forms of satanism.

Poor demonized David Icke has put a video of it on his website as an illustration of his thesis that we are ruled by giant space lizards. I suppose he is not that far out.

Have you seen the video, available on You Tube, by Chris White of KnowheretoRun; 'David Icke Debunked'? It is a fascinating study, by a Christian, of the seduction and possession of a New Ager, showing his contact with the 'Ascended/Descended Masters'.

  25. Here's something I found on a cached website for "Programming Notes" about here background:

    Who Is Teena Booth

Teena Booth is a mother of three and writer of novels (Falling From Fire), TV movies (A Little Thing Called Murder, Fab Five, Sex & Lies in Sin City, Natalee Holloway, The Wronged Man).

She was born and raised in Los Angeles, the oldest child of news reporter and actress, the very beautiful Carol McEvoy (The Towering Inferno).

Now a resident of Phoenix, Arizon, she sold her first novel, Falling From Fire, to Random House in 2002. That same year, her screenplay Showstopper -- a script she wrote to come to terms with the suicide of her very beautiful mother -- won a Chesterfield Screenwriting Fellowship. She spent a year commuting back and forth to L.A., learning the art of screenwriting. Not long afterward, she got her first assignment from Lifetime Television to adapt a true-crime book into a script, and a TV movie writing career was launched.

It appears that with the suicide of her mother that she may have had serious tragedy in her life -- as have I. Our reactions were totally different. The difference may have been our formative years.

After the slaughtering of the National Anthem by Christina Aguillera, I should have known the half-time show would've been just as offensive. People pay money to hear these guys? When will people realize that Americans do not like the National Anthem jazzed up. And if you do, sing the right words. That song about love was nauseating. Alternative news sites as well as quite a few New Age sites are overly inflated with discussions on the topic. Like I said I am not quite sure what to make of it all. Real or hoax, it has certainly served to spur conversations about the phenomenon, particularly as it pertains to religious topics. Even if this is a hoax set of videos, it has certainly served a purpose.

Hi Ejiles, There are some well researched articles and books by Phillip and Paul Collins.

The Collins brothers are Christian researchers and have examined the MJ12 docs, which are most likely fake. The Collins brothers summarise that a new scientistic myth is being promulgated by intelligence operatives and that this is creating a new religious consciousness that is socially and politically expedient to the power elite - that it’s neo-Gnostic in character and that it is basically paving the way for the technocratic restructuring of society itself!

What this points towards is the fact that these individuals in the intelligence community are in the business of being myth makers, using UFO’s and space aliens and whatnot.
When you look at the myth that they’re building and you look closely at the disinformation that they’re placing out there with these different UFO cults, it makes you wonder if these men are not only skilled in the craft of intelligence but that they might also be students of the occult - not some kind of fringe group of any sort – but SERIOUS students of the occult – serious students of the real body of literature out there by the die-hard occultists.

Please look at the video: "Green Horseman Image in Egypt?" at the top of the page.

It appears to show an "otherwordly" figure and horse of pale green which no one in the crowd of Egyptians seems to notice as it/they ride through the crowd. In addition, it doesn't seem to interact with anyone in the crowd--no one seems to be hastily moving out of the way of a "man" on horseback! It doesn't seem to part the crowds or cause any consternation, at all. I don't even think that it/they actually touched any human in its course forward.

It then appears to rise, become gradually less visible, and completely disappear--defying the laws gravity and visibility as it progresses.

If this is a fake and has been debunked, I apologize to everyone. If not..., then this seems to be the physical manifestation of Revelation 6:7-8.

What you are seeing in the video is reflection. This video was shot through a closed window causing light refraction, hence the green color. Watching the video I am posting you can see better that the "horsemans" movement directly associates with the cameras. You will see it begin to "ride" as the camera pans right, and "ascend" as the camera pans up. The shape is eerie, but after watching this video in full that I am posting you should be able to clearly see what I am talking about. Pay particular attention to the rest of the screen as the video goes through the slow motion replay and what I am talking about will become pretty evident.

  53. Super Bowl PreGame Show9:28 AM

Excuse me for being suspicious, but...

I want to add to the comments regarding Sunday night's Super Bowl, I am not at all detracting from the very troubling half-time presentation and those of you who have discerned the NA messages and transhumanism. Thank you for your posts.

However, does anyone feel uncomfortable about the patriotic pre-game presentation?

Don't get me wrong--I am all for Americans being reminded of the words of the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution. We often talk on this blog
about our freedoms being eroded away.

But I just wonder about that pregame show. I am reminded about the email video presentation that went around about two years ago called "Born Again American". I had Christians beaming with pride send it to me, but found out that it was from Norman Lear who was on a campaign to redefine and pervert the Declaration.

The pregame show felt more to me like being set up. Of course we are all patriotic and want our troops overseas to come home. But are we being set up for a campaign of national unity--coming together for the good of all, etc., etc....

I wish I could have received that presentation at face level, but I'm just too cynical and savvy about what's lurking under the surface. It certainly didn't help me to see Colin Powell as a presenter.

  57. Jolo,

I had the same piece of footage sent to me by someone in almost full panic over it. There are several versions out there, as this one has gone viral. The first version I saw was chopped so that it ended just short of where the reflection becomes obvious. Some will always be deceptive with things like this. The version you posted is obviously not the best quality, and as such hides (though possibly unintentionally) what is obvious in higher quality versions. Given that this came from a NBC News nightly telecast, it was easy for me to find other versions where I could scrutinize the footage better. Whenever I see something like this, I always run through as many sources for it as I can as video is just too easy to fake in this day and age. As I said, I'm glad you posted it, and happy to be of help.

Yet far more upsetting were the accusations leveled by Christian writers. An entire subgenre of books issued from Christian publishers bizarrely declared the New Age a plot of Satan to take over the world. (See 4 Myths about the New Age.) Even now, if you type "New Age" into an Internet search engine, the first five pages of results are nothing but Christian Web sites which accuse the New Age of trying to seduce good Christians away from their religion.

Query to TEENA BOOTH whom I assume to be reading this site carefully, otherwise, why would she have removed her video:

WHO DO YOU THINK THE LUCIFER OF DAVID SPANGLER AND THE THEOSOPHISTS IS? If not SATAN, WHOM?

My thinking, Teena, if New Agers such as Alice Bailey and David Spangler had the nerve to say it (we must take a LUCIFERIC INITIATION), I had the nerve to quote it and I have NO APOLOGIES for same.

YOU SHOULD RUN FROM THE NEW AGE MOVEMENT AS IF YOU HAD SEEN THE DEVIL! That is indeed what you saw disguised, albeit, as an "Angel of Light!!"

ORDER OF NINE ANGLES ( Not Angels, but Angles )

The Order of Nine Angles (ONA) is a purported secretive Satanist organization, initially formed in the United Kingdom, and which rose to public note during the 1980s and 1990s after having been mentioned in books detailing fascist Satanism. Presently, the ONA is organized around clandestine cells (which it calls "traditional nexions") and around what it calls "sinister tribes".

    History

The Order of Nine Angles was originally formed in England in the 1960s, with the merger of three neopagan temples called Camlad, The Noctulians, and Temple of the Sun. Following the original leader's emigration to Australia, it has been alleged that David Myatt took over the order and began writing the now publicly-available teachings of the ONA. The ONA now has associates, and groups, in the United States, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Russia, and Iceland.

Author Nick Ryan has asserted that Anton Long, the author of the ONA's public tracts, is a pseudonym of David Myatt, a person who was involved with the neo-Nazi movement in England. This assertion is repeated by Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke, who claims that David Myatt was the founder of the ONA and writer of most of the ONA documents, and had previously acted as bodyguard for "British Nazi Colin Jordan"...

  78. I was just perusing the "Nine Angles" information Susanna posted in her usual scholarly manner and went to the Wikipedia article. Something struck me -- don't know if there is a direct relationship or not, but if a coincidence, a disturbing one.

Ryan states in his book that Myatt lived in the 1990s on a smallholding in Shropshire with Christos Beest, who has given several interviews on behalf of the ONA[14] and performed a live recording of The Self-Immolation Rite that was included with Vol. 2 No. 3 of Fenrir.

"SELF-IMMOLATION RITE" -- The Tunisian death that triggered the Middle East "revolutions" was a self-immolation death.

Again, I don't know if there is a connection or not, but wondering about various Middle East secret societies, I can't help but start to wonder.

    Constance,

Additionally, Myatt reportedly became a Muslim!

David Myatt, (born 1950) - also known as David Wulstan Myatt[1] and formerly known as Abdul-Aziz ibn Myatt - is the founder of The Numinous Way, a former British Muslim, and a former neo-nazi.

According to Professor Robert S. Wistrich, Myatt, when a Muslim, was a staunch advocate of "Jihad, suicide missions and killing Jews..." and also "an ardent defender of bin Laden". One of Myatt’s writings justifying suicide attacks was, for several years, on the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades (the military wing) section of the Hamas website.

According to Myatt himself, in the autumn of 2010 he publicly "move[d] away from the Way of Al-Islam and back to my own weltanschauung which I have termed both The Numinous Way and The Philosophy of The Numen."

Before his conversion to Islam in 1998, Myatt was the first leader of the British National Socialist Movement (NSM), and was identified by the British newspaper, The Observer, as the "ideological heavyweight" behind Combat 18. Following his conversion to Islam, Myatt dissociated himself from nationalism and racialism, and has spoken openly about his contempt for racism, and wrote that the only distinction that mattered was that between Muslims (Mumin) and the Unbelievers (Kuffar).
Additionally, and subsequently following his conversion, he also became an advocate of Islamic martyrdom operations (Shaheed)expressed support for Osama bin Laden, the Taliban, referred to the Holocaust as a "hoax", and supported the killing of 'civilians' or non-combatants. An April 2005 NATO workshop heard that Myatt had called on "all enemies of the Zionists to embrace the Jihad" against Jews and the United States. Political scientist George Michael writes that Myatt has "arguably done more than any other theorist to develop a synthesis of the extreme right and Islam."

    Re: Your query....

This whole thing brings up an issue: what about demons -- are individuals demonically possessed/oppressed in our present time? It would seem likely that if individuals were during Jesus' earthly ministry, then some would be today as well.....

......Given the spirits behind kundalini, I think it probable that individuals could become demon possessed/oppressed as a result of coming into contact. Which then raises the question of proper deliverance for those individuals affected.

I have absolutely NO experience in this area. Comments?

    You are right.

While I am speaking as a Roman Catholic Christian, I can say that as a Catholic Christian I have been taught that it is indeed possible - albeit rare - for a person to be demonically possessed in our own time - just as certain people were possessed during the time when Christ lived on earth.

I would not presume to speak for Protestants, but I can give you some information on what Catholics believe so that you can compare and judge for yourself.

I will say that as a Catholic I am taught that exorcisms by Protestant ministers can be as effective as those performed by Catholic priests because like Catholic exorcisms, they are done in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

If an exorcist presumes to expel demons in his own name or by any other name, he risks being savaged by the demon......as described in the Scriptures.

For reasons we do not fully understand, not all exorcisms are successful - be they done by Catholic priests or Protestant ministers. But my purpose here is not to get into that subject, but rather to show you documentary evidence that demonic possession is a reality in our own time.

People who have truck with the occult - especially those forms of the occult directly and knowingly involving illicit communication with spirit entities are basically inviting the encroachments of evil spirits into their lives and persons.

Following physical and psycholigical tests on a purported victim of demonic possession, there are certain signs that a Catholic exorcist looks for in order to discern whether or not he is dealing with mental illness or an actual case of demonic possession. However, many times the possessing demon(s) will hide behind mental illness in a person precisely in order to avoid exorcism which makes them suffer unspeakably in ther pride.

Among the more renowned Catholic exorcists is Father Jose Antonio Fortea.

Any time you allow yourself to be tempted into sin; you are subjecteding yourself to the captivity of the devil. Thusly, demonic possesion is FAR MORE prevalent today that in the meridian of time.

Rick Warren introduces "The Devil Plan"

Into a cauldron of green tea add in 1 eye of a knut, 4 lizard’s tails, 3 dragon incisors, 4 forked tongues, 7 pages from the Message Bible, 1 page from the KJV Bible, then stir the pot while chanting “I am God…I am God…I am God.” While the brew simmers get in a crossed-legged yoga position…meditate …go deep…deeper still…until you’re in a trance, then allow the kundalini energy coiled like a serpent at the base of the spine to run through your body…until an ecstatic experience erupts whereby you will shift between ecstasy and horror……viola, enlightenment!

  98. Susanna,

Thanks for responding to my comment from the previous thread which apparently went directly to the spam filter and subsequently was released by Constance.

I was aware the RCC had done exorcisms (there are apparently a relative handful of Protestant exorcisms as well); but, I was more curious of anyone who had firsthand or immediate secondhand knowledge.

What brought this about was my somewhat recent post titled "Misplaced Trust, part I" in which I quote AAB/Lucis Trust quite extensively. Entering "higher states of consciousness" is another way of saying progressive "overshadowing" resulting eventually in "soul-controlled men" which are all euphemisms for advancing stages of demon possession. It only takes a superficial reading to reach that analysis. It's the endgoal according to the Bailey books. Given that, I posit that there must be if not many today certainly more than a tiny fraction who are in various stages of possession. I consider II Thessalonians 2:9-12 as further potential evidence as those who refuse to love the Truth will be given a "strong delusion" by God Himself!

From part II of the "Misplaced Trust" article is this quote from a pro-Kundalini practitioner:

“Kundalini rising is sometimes a violent experience, radically changing one’s subtle energy field (making it much less subtle!) and consciousness and perception of energy. The experience can be (and often is in the West) mistaken for insanity (usually acute schizophrenia) or emotional or physical breakdown on a fairly large scale.”

    Quote from here:
    http://www.dharma-haven.org/oas/kundheal.htm

Is it not possible or even probable that the individuals in the above quote who are deemed insane in the West are, in actuality, possessed?

There are fairly widespread reports of goings-on in hyper-charismatic churches which go beyond the natural. One example are individuals who bend over backwards at an extreme and unnatural angle. I know someone personally who told me her cue to get out of the hyper-charismatic church she was attending was when an individual rolled UP the stairs!

As you pointed out, one must be careful if attempting exorcisms as the Sons of Sceva found out (Acts 19:13-16). However, Jesus Himself said in Matthew 7:22 that some false prophets/wolves will claim to have driven out demons in His name which leads me to believe in the possibility there will be true Christians who will actually do this legitimately.

OTOH, I don't think it's healthy to look for a demon around every corner but to essentially deny their existence as the West seems to do does not seem right either.

On two separate occasions my ex-wife and I came across the presence of evil spirits. One time was in viewing the outside of a vacant house that was for sale. I noticed it first but didn't say anything to see if it was just me when suddenly my then wife said "Do you feel that?" It was as if the air was being sucked out of our lungs. A heaviness. For me, I would describe it as running to the point of being out of breath in the cold when not accustomed to it resulting in a 'burning' sensation of the lungs. The 2nd time was in the warehouse of an antique shop.

    Quite eerie.

More Maitreya speculation: Rick Warren = Maitreya????!!!??

Not sure what to make of these articles - that whole Maitreya thing is pretty weird, but these articles, tho speculative, do point out some creepy correlations. See what you think:

    Craig,

The closest I have ever come to having immediate second hand knowledge of something demonic has to do with a woman who once told me that she was involved with an Edgar Cayce group.

Not long after, her husband told my husband that she was seeing spirits "coming up out of the floor" and that these spirits "spoke to her."

Time went by in which my husband and I didn't see or hear from them....until one day when my husband ran into this woman's husband and he told my husband about his wife's involvement with this Edgar Cayce group and "the spirits" who finally told his wife to leave him. After she left him she entered into a lesbian relationship with another woman.

I think the husband died fairly young. We don't know what ultimately became of the woman.

I also knew a woman whose husband was involved with the occultism that was popularized by the bogus "anthropologist" Carlos Castaneda. This form of occultism involved the use of the peyote mushroom which contained the hallucinogenic drug mescalin....used to achieve the altered state of consciousness required to interact with the spiritual entities that resided in the "separate reality" described by Castaneda in his books.

According to Castaneda, the drug was only necessary at the beginning. After a while, a person could achieve the altered states of consciousness without having to use drugs.

Carlos Castaneda was one of the darlings of the New Age Movement who advocated suicide as a means of progressing to higher spiritual levels. After my friend's husband finished reading the last of Castaneda's books, he committed suicide.

Another woman I knew who was into the occultism of Castaneda came close to committing suicide......which goes to show that as far as the demons are concerned, possession is not the only game in town.

We must bear in mind that where there IS the danger of demonic possession, the New Age Movement is NOT going to call it by its right name.

This article was on the front page of the Telegraph today:

International Monetary Fund director Dominique Strauss-Kahn calls for new world currency

"Russian President Dmitry Medvedev last month said the currencies of Brazil, Russia, India and China should be included in the SDR valuation basket. The same month, Sarkozy said that the yuan should be included, and US President Barack Obama’s administration said it supports such a transition “over time”."

"Strauss-Kahn's views come a week before finance ministers from the Group of 20 developed and developing nations meet in Paris to discuss proposals by French president Nicolas Sarkozy for changes to global economic governance."

IMHO, the merger between the New York Stock Exchange and Deutsche Boerse ( which runs the Frankfurt Stock Exchange ) might - if approved by regulators in the U.S. and Germany - turn out be one more factor that helps to tip the scales in favor of the establishment of a one world currency.

I agree with you smallfarm! Demon possession is not a "rare" occurance as some would have you believe, on the contrary.

This kind of thinking just demonstrates the commentary on the church of Jesus Christ.

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..." Hsa 4:6

Today, just slap the word "disease" after the problem and everything is acceptable.

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith"
    1 Peter 5:8-9

ps I am not advocating that everything is a devil. But there is more demons lodging in people's flesh than we'd like to think.

All of what you are recording here is so true. I see myself as I was when younger in Teena. Yes, the deception is there! Keep up the good work. People probably have to be "broken" to accept that the world is satanically ruled, and to put their faith in our God.
