BIG BROTHER IS WEIGHING YOU!

JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT IT WAS SAFE TO GO BACK IN THE WATER!
Read all about it by clicking here.  Click on the picture above to read the first part of this really creepy story!

"According to the CDC,  “BMI provides a reliable indicator of body fatness for most people and is used to screen for weight categories that may lead to health problems.”

"A person’s BMI score is used as a tool to screen for obesity or excessive body fat that could lead to other health problems. While it does not actually measure body fat directly, according to CDC, the BMI scores generally correlate with a person’s body fat percentage.

"The new regulations also stipulate that the new electronic records be capable of sending public health data to state and federal health agencies such as HHS and CDC. The CDC, which calls American society “obesogenic” – meaning that American society itself promotes obesity – collects BMI scores from state health agencies every year to monitor obesity nationwide.

“Electronically record, retrieve, and transmit syndrome based public health surveillance information to public health agencies,” the regulations read.

"With the spread of electronic health records, the CDC apparently will be able to collect such data more efficiently and with greater accuracy because the electronic record keeping systems can send the data automatically, eliminating the need for government – both state and federal – to keep, send, and process physical records. "

I wonder if they are thinking of putting that little chip on our hands and/or foreheads to facilitate this, er, ah, noble process?

Not for me!  Wonder if they'll cut off my Medicare for non-compliance?

Stay tuned!

  1. How did a health regulation make it into an economic stimulus law? Losing weight, getting physically healthy is a good thing. Getting tracked by the government for anything is not good. Nothing good is going to come out of this!

  3. U.S. National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics.... It should be formally designated as the official body for obtaining public advice, assistance and approval for the development and promulgation of terms, basic data sets, classifications, and guidelines for national and international use. All Western countries have such a body, and it is this group through which we "legitimize" common approaches to health statistics at home and cooperate with the World Health Organization and other countries so that international comparisons of health needs, services, demands, and outcomes can be made. [Such standardization] is the best way to insure cooperation and also provide flexibility for individual and local needs. With the advent of new technology, data can be collected in any format, aggregated by the computer and arrayed in any desired output format. This important distinction between forms for data acquisition, computer systems for data processing, standards and guidelines should be clearly stated. To do otherwise is to promote confusion and, as industry has found, increase the costs of collecting masses of data untouched by human thought!(18)

  6. Dan,

NCVHS reports to WHO regularly, it is properly called Health Data Stewardship. What they report is everything, they are also allowed to report your information to people in health research fields. Most would think privacy laws would be violated, but HIPAA actually helped facilitate this by allowing information to be exchanged with organizations who's supposed interest is public health, this includes WHO.

The traceability infrastructure sought by GS1, WHO, NCVHS, ONCHIT, FDA, etc will stream line the data exchange in health care. The date health care providers are to have everything in place by remains at 1/1/11. To answer David's question they are simply using stimulus money to fast track areas that are lacking.

  9. Many, many thanks to Dan Bryan. After going through the UN bookstore when I spoke in New York City area in the 1980's, I came back and told my then doctor Virginia Ferrara that it looks like they are going to use the World Health Organization to usher this in -- we share insights until she died on our mutual concerns about WHO and then I back burnered it until reading Dan Bryan's reference tonight. I found a 50th anniversary program for the NHS organization Dan speaks of and a Dr. Lumpkin was speaking. Typical New Age pseudonym "Information Age" jargon, but with his emphasis on need for STANDARDIZATION, GLOBALIZATION, and finally THIS:

"I don't have the answer, but I do feel like we need a program that has a clearer name that the public can
understand, a road map, a budget, global collaboration, and an agency or a center or a leader, a direction
that leads the agenda. If everyone is responsible for it, in a way, no one is. I think that is to some extent
part of our issue today. I think there is enormous good intention and tremendous energy, but I think we
need to soon channel that and move it forward. I think the committee and the staff and the Department,
all these groups, have moved this agenda forward clearly, as well as the statistical underpinnings that go
with that, but in a way, the best clearly is here to come."

A year ago or so my doctor's office went this route. They did away with paper records and put everything on a computer. The doctors and nurses there carry around little electronic notebooks that they write on and read from at examinations and office visits. All your info is loaded in. Prescriptions are recorded in them and then printed out from them. When it started I vehemently objected, saying this was to make it easy for the government to have all our information and the employees denied it. I was correct, of course. I wonder if any of them have figured it out yet?

I don't have a problem with electronic records per se, they are more efficient, and does cut down on paperwork time that the medical professionals are plagued with because of the insurance industry.

All this would be a moot point if we all trusted our government, but since they are the ones mandating this switch over to EHR's, and some substancial money is to be made selling the software to upgrade every medical facility in the country, and with the new healthcare bill, our privacy is not really what it used to be, they have not earned my trust on this issue.

    What is the Illuminati?

    http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/False%20Religions/Illuminati/illuminati.htm

I recently read an excellent book... PAWNS in the GAME, by William Guy Carr. I am going to share several quotes with you from the book that I think are superb. If you want to learn all the details of the Illuminati and their sinister evil plan to take over the world, then this is the book to read!
    The International Conspiracy
The following quote is from page IX in the introduction:
Very few people seem to appreciate that Lucifer is the brightest and most intelligent of the heavenly host and, because he is a pure spirit, he is indestructible. The Scriptures tell us his power is such that he caused one-third of the most intelligent of the heavenly host to defect from God, and join him, because he claimed God's Plan for the rule of the universe is weak and impractical because it is based on the premise that lesser beings can be taught to know, love, and wish to serve Him voluntarily out of respect for His own infinite perfections. The Luciferian ideology states might is right. It claims beings of proven superior intelligence have the right to rule those less gifted because the masses don't know what is best for them. The Luciferian ideology is what we call totalitarianism to-day.
The Old Testament is simply the history of how Satan became prince of the world, and caused our first parents to defect from God. It relates how the synagogue of Satan was established on this earth, it tells how it has worked since to prevent God's Plan for the rule of the universe being established on this earth. Christ came to earth when the conspiracy reached the stage that, to use His own Words, Satan controlled all those in high places. He exposed the synagogue of Satan (Rev. 2:9;3:9); he denounced those who belonged to it as sons of the Devil (Lucifer), whom He castigated as the father of lies (John 8:44) and the prince of deceit (2nd Cor. 11:14). He was specific in His statement that those who comprised the synagogue of Satan were those who called themselves Jews, but were not, and did lie (Rev. 2:9; 3:9). He identified the Money-Changers (Bankers), the Scribes, and the Pharisees as the Illuminati of His day.
Page X brings the conspiracy up to date:
In 1774 "An Act of God" placed the Bavarian government in possession of evidence which proved the existence of the continuing Luciferian conspiracy. Adam Weishaupt, a Jesuit trained professor of canon law, defected from Christianity, and embraced the Luciferian ideology while teaching in Ingoldstadt University. In 1770 the money lenders (who had recently organized the House of Rothschild), retrained him to revise and modernize the age-old 'protocols' designed to give the synagogue of Satan ultimate world domination so they can impose Luciferian ideology upon what remains of the Human Race, after the final social cataclysm, by use of Satanic despotism. Weishaupt completed his task May 1st, 1776.
The plan required the destruction of ALL existing governments and religions. This objective was to be reached by dividing the masses, whom he termed Goyim (meaning human cattle) into opposing camps

    Symbols of the Illuminati
Quotes about the New World Order
    ________________________________________
    More on the Illuminati...
For those who have never heard of The Illuminati, or are brand new to the study, and who might ask, “In a nutshell, what the heck is the Illuminati?” Here's the basic assertion in a very brief capsule:
A man named Adam Weishaupt founded a secret society in Bavaria in 1776, that had as it’s goal, to rule the world. The methods they would use would be assassinations, bribery, blackmail, revolutions, and espionage. Their model of organization was similar to the Jesuit Order and the steps and degrees of Freemasonry. They intended to control and manipulate banks and bankers, money-lending powers, the world’s financiers. They intended to cause economic collapses, wars, bloody uprisings and revolutions around the world, with each upheaval calculated to re-structure the status quo leaving the Illuminati in greater positions of influence, and poised for their next step. The main enemies or “targets” of The Illuminati in the 1700s were the kings and queens, the monarchies of Europe, and, the Church. The two most-remembered Illuminati-caused revolutions in history, were, the French Revolution and Reign of Terror (1788-1799), and the Russian Revolution of 1917 that first made Communism a world power. The Illuminati and it’s diabolical conspiracy was very real. These things actually happened and are a matter of world history. The Illuminati Conspiracy got exposed. The authorities made raids and seized Illuminati documents. In its day this was all public headline news, not some obscure, rare, or arcane knowledge. There you have the basic gist of it. That is the starting point. That is what people usually mean by “The Illuminati.”

    JEWS AND ANTI-SEMITISM
People need to realize that the world’s JEWS are NOT the power behind the Conspiracy, as some claim. It is NOT a Jewish plot. There are in fact many extremely ANTI-Jewish, anti-Semitic elements to be found in the ranks of the Conspirators, and in their philosophies. The document called “The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion,” is not reliable. I believe it was a hoax, a decoy, written, crafted, by the Illuminati, to steer investigators off the trail of the REAL Illuminati, and make them go after the Jews instead. At the time that document was published, the world already KNEW there was a real plot. Researchers and investigators had gotten some of the real perpetrators put in JAIL. The Illuminati was in danger. So they forged a document that “confessed” the real (already known) activities of the Illuminati, but to misguide investigators, they sprinkled wording throughout it such as “we the Jews." And they got the document to fall into the hands of the authorities and the public. Presto! The bloodhounds VEERED OFF and followed the wrong scent from then on. A great victory for the Illuminati. A real coup. Ingenious. Shrewd. A masterpiece of deception! And clear up to this present day, the Illuminati investigators, the very people who COULD help the world by unmasking the plot, are still on the trail of the Jews, who were scapegoated BY the Illuminati! What a tragedy! These “Illuminati”-chasers, “Illuminati”-exposers, are actually serving Illuminati ends, falling for Illuminati tricks, helping to CLOAK the Illuminati, by perpetuating misinformation ABOUT the Illuminati.

  16. Anonymous10:30 AM

So, here also, you will find me in DISAGREEMENT with other believers in the Illuminati. I, for one, am if anything PRO-Jewish, and PRO-Israel. And by the way, some of the best works that have been written to EXPOSE the Illuminati have been written BY Jews. Even some by Orthodox RABBIS! Indeed my own personal favorite of all anti-Illuminati books was written by an Orthodox Jewish Rabbi. Also, the man who first taught me about the Illuminati in 1965, was pro-Israel, and pro-Jewish. He was a 70 year old scholar. He had studied the conspiracy for a LIFETIME. I was privileged to have his LIFETIME of knowledge on this and other subjects imparted to me, and to ADD to that education, the installment of the last 37 years of my own research. I believe that next to the United States Constitution and the Christian Faith, world Jewry and the State of Israel are the greatest obstacles to the Illuminati global scheme succeeding. That is why the Bible depicts all nations aligned against Israel. Israel stands in the way of the satanic agenda.
Furthermore, the most powerful Illuminist who ever walked this earth was Adolf Hitler. Hitler and the Nazi Party were hatched out of, and sprang from the wings of the ILLUMINATI known as the Thule Gesselschaft, the Germanenorden, and the theosophist circles in Germany. This branch of the Illuminati promoted ancient paganism, the old gods of pagan Germany, and theosophical occultism. It was as thoroughly anti-Christian as it was anti-Jewish. The Illuminati created, shaped and crafted Hitler and the Nazis. Study deeply enough into the occult background of Hitler , Himmler, Rudolf Steiner, Aleister Crowley and Helena Blavatsky, and find out what the Thule Society really was, and you will see. The same Illuminati that earlier launched waves of anti-Semitism with the Protocols trick, launched the Holocaust that murdered six million innocent Jewish people. It is my assertion that anyone hoping to correctly research and understand The Illuminati Conspiracy, must filter out, purge out, and reject as deadly error any and every anti-Jewish allegation or innuendo they encounter in the literature. To fail to screen their research thus, and to fall for even the slightest measure of the slander against the Jews, is to admit the Illuminati’s “Trojan horse” into the work. It will pervert the investigation. It will defeat and destroy it. This is one of the chief reasons why generations of exposés have been impotent against the advance of The Conspiracy. Under investigation, the error of incriminating the Jews is FOUND TO BE error indeed, and the net result is that the entire exposé gets DISCREDITED.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Anonymous10:31 AM

My foregoing plea to purge the anti-Jewish error from Illuminati research should probably be qualified, lest the same kind of error be made at the reverse end of the spectrum, which also would discredit the research and do a dis-service to truth. With all the thousands of human beings involved in the illuminist conspiracy spanning the 225 years since Weishaupt’s hour, and in the millennia that I assert the movement has existed, were none of the players of Jewish extraction? Certainly there were Jews in it, just as there were people in it from nearly EVERY ethnic grouping on earth, Germans, Frenchmen, Englishmen, Japanese, and Tibetans. And from a wide spectrum of religious and philosophical schools of thought, BUDDHISTS, SUFI MOSLEMS, HINDUS, GNOSTICS, ROMAN CATHOLICS, NEOPLATONIST SYNCRETISTS AND ATHEISTS. A false picture is created by singling out those only of Jewish extraction. So many Roman Catholics have been involved through the centuries, that if we were to ONLY look for Roman Catholics and EMPHASIZE their role, the false picture could be painted that the great conspiracy is PURELY Roman Catholic in nature. Similarly, So many Hindu influences have been involved, that if we were to ONLY look for Hindu influences and emphasize their role, the false picture could be painted that the conspiracy is purely HINDU in nature. Any rational person thinking the matter through can see the utter fallacy and folly of building a case on having “spotted a Jew” in the ranks of the conspirators. What of the Roman Catholic Swede seated on his right, and the Tibetan Buddhist seated on his left? What about the Anglo-Saxon Episcopalian, or the Nazi? It is an outrage that some Conspiracy researchers cannot see and DO NOT CARE ABOUT any other ethnic representations in the mix other than Jewish. The twisted obsession with finding Jews in the works has led to false “demographics."

When discussing things “Jewish” special attention needs to be paid to the matter of the KABBALAH, spelled alternatively Qabbala, Cabala, etc. I cannot here post my entire study, proofs, and reasons for it, but will just state my raw assertion: The Kabbalah and Kabbalism is wrongly seen by Jews and non-Jews alike, as something distinctly “Jewish.” It is almost universally referred to as “Jewish mysticism.” But it is NOT Jewish. Pagan, non-Jewish religions and philosophies, and magical beliefs and practices were THE WOMB FROM WHICH THE KABBALAH CRAWLED. It should never have been permitted to creep in and lodge itself in Jewish circles. My assertion is that the Orthodox Jewish Faith as derived purely and strictly from The Holy Scriptures, the five books of Moses and what we commonly refer to as The Old Testament, is the true “Judaism.” Those who adhere to THAT Faith are what I call true “Jews.” The Kabbalah and Kabbalism did NOT arise from THAT pure stream. It gained access FROM WITHOUT, due to flagrant disobedience to the Jewish Faith. It was a clear command of the Jewish Faith, “Learn not the ways of the heathen.” See Jeremiah 10:2 and Deuteronomy 18:9. In particular, it was the RELIGIOUS “WAYS” and concepts of the surrounding heathen cultures that God forbade the Israelites to learn and adopt.
The Kabbalah developed in complete VIOLATION of those injunctions. Babylonian, Persian, Neoplatonist and Gnostic religious ideas were learned from “the heathen” and were subtly insinuated into the thinking of fringe “Jewish” cults, RESULTING in that so-called “Jewish” mysticism known as Kabbalism. At times, various Orthodox Jewish rabbis CONDEMNED this pagan invasion. Some rightly denounced practicing Kabbalism as “APOSTACY” FROM THE JEWISH FAITH. Although those righteous voices are today toned down, if not entirely muted, I fully concur: Practicing Kabbalism IS an “apostacy” from The Jewish Faith. It constitutes a revolt from Judaism and adherance to PAGAN, gentile, heathen religion. I assert that he who makes Kabbalism his religion is no Jew. He has changed religions. I further urge that anyone who considers himself a good Orthodox Jew take a stand against Kabbalism, and denounce its INFILTRATION into the Jewish world. Up through history, this was known in Jewry, that going off into the speculations and theosophical mysticism of the Kabbalah was frowned upon by the purest of “Orthodox” Jewish rabbis. And yet, men succumbed to the temptation, and did it anyway. Among the worst types of “ex-Jews” who abandoned Orthodox Judaism for Kabbalism was a sect known as the Zoharists, followers of THE APOSTATE, JACOB FRANK.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Anonymous10:33 AM

The Zoharists or “FRANKISTS” indulged in sex orgies and every manner of blasphemy and violation of and REPUDIATION OF THE JEWISH FAITH. The Jewish community banned these renegade apostates as heretics. These Frankist Kabbalists taught their followers to SECRETLY renounce and leave The Jewish Faith, but to KEEP UP THE OUTWARD PUBLIC APPEARANCE OF BEING PRACTICING JEWS (as the Sabbateans before them had done). Some of these Frankists and other Kabbalists, whom I assert were no Jews, but enemies of The Jewish Faith , did indeed become Illuminati members and operatives. There were some Frankists, Sabatteans, Kabbalists, apostate “ex-Jews” in the Illuminati. To blame WORLD Jewry for the activities of these and other apostate “EX-Jews” is a supreme injustice. Using these apostates as evidence to implicate world Jewry in their activities makes as much sense as using the deeds of Judas Iscariot, the “ex-Christian” as an example of CHRISTIAN activities in our world. My assertion is, that if you want to properly and fairly understand TRUE Jews in our world, you should use as your example “ORTHODOX” OR “OBSERVANT” JEWS AND RABBIS WHO SHUN KABBALAH, WHO HAVE NO TAINT OF KABBALISM IN THEIR RELIGION, AND WHOSE FAITH IS BASED ON THE SCRIPTURES. There you have the world’s “true” Jews. But when you find renegades, apostates, atheists, theosophists and Kabbalists, ex-Jews masquerading as “Jews,” do not use them as a means to condemn world Jewry.
I also see Jerusalem and the land of Israel in the middle east as rightly belonging to them. I enthusiastically support the State of Israel as it serves such Observant Orthodox Jews as THAT, and I am against all machinations and influences that would take land out of their hands or weaken them in the middle east or make them vulnerable to hostile powers. I favor a strong Israel for the Jewry I have just described. It is complete error for Illuminati researchers to implicate THAT complex, THAT world Jewry in the Great Conspiracy. But it is an entirely different matter when you are discussing so-called “Jews” who are Kabbalists, Zoharists, Frankists, Shabbateans, atheists, the irreligious or non-religious, and those who practice the occult, or who mingle pagan religion into their “Jewish” religion. I confess with sorrow that some of this sort, apostates and heretics, have been found working with the Illuminati conspiracy. But they should not be called “Jews.” It is a tragic fact that they give the legitimate and genuine Jews of the world a bad name. People researching the Illuminati conspiracy need to take great care not to soil true world Jewry with the mud of a few apostates.

And yet, we can't even see Obama's birth certificate, his school records, or really anything about him that hasn't been officially sanctioned. It's just more proof we have a ruling class. The Constitution is dead. The best book I've ever read on liberty is "The Law" by Frederic Bastiat. It's a concise refutation on the type of one world government that's coming, written in the early 1800s. Get a copy and hand out more to your friends and family.

    Presidents of the United States
    by Gregory Allan

Who was the first President of the United State? Does anyone know? Please raise your hand?

This has been a minor topic in many of my public appearances over the years. Following this minor topic is always some other issue... something I think you may find hard to believe. The point being, if I can convince you of the truth, i.e. that George Washington was not the first President, then your foundational beliefs might be sufficiently shaken so that you can believe the major topic I'm about to present.

The notion that Washington was the first, is a Really Big Lie. Government and the public schools it controls have told this lie for so long it is almost universally believed. Government has its reasons. I will point you in the right direction, and leave you to find the rest for yourselves. The point of this article is to tell you the real truth. But first, a quote regarding big lies from the Grand Purveyor of Evil himself, Adolph Hitler:

...All this was inspired by the principle -- which is quite true in itself -- that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying.
--Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, vol. I, ch. X
The United States of America became a nation when the Articles of Confederation were ratified March 1, 1781, not, as is commonly believed, when the Constitution was ratified in 1789. In the years between 1781 and 1789, the United States of America duly elected nine Presidents: 1. Samuel Huntington was installed as the first President of the United States on March 2, 1781 at an official ceremony in Philadelphia. Huntington only served as President until July resigning due to ill health.
    2. Thomas McKean was elected as the second President. McKean held the office less than five months.
    3. John Hanson was elected the third President in November of 1781. Hanson was the first president to serve a full one-year term, as provided for in the Articles of Confederation.
    4. Elias Boudinot (1783)
    5. Thomas Mifflin (1784)
    6. Richard Henry Lee (1785)
    7. Nathan Gorman (1786) No picture of Gorman available.
    8. Arthur St. Clair (1787)
    9. Cyrus Griffin (1788)

    ...
The following is quoted from Wikipedia:

The Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union was the first constitution of the United States of America.
In September 1786, commissioners from five states met in the Annapolis Convention to discuss adjustments to the Articles of Confederation that would improve commerce. They invited state representatives to convene in Philadelphia to discuss improvements to the federal government. After debate, the Congress of the Confederation endorsed the plan to revise the Articles of Confederation on February 21, 1787.

[Editor's note: A document setting out this plan was signed by members of Congress. I've seen copies of this document but couldn't find it on the web. I believe it was called something like the Mayfair Compact. No, I'm not confusing it with the Mayflower Compact.]

Twelve states, Rhode Island being the only exception, accepted this invitation and sent delegates to convene in May 1787. The resolution calling the Convention specified that its purpose was to propose amendments to the Articles [emphasis added], but through discussion and debate it became clear by mid-June that, rather than amend the existing Articles, the Convention decided [without authority] to propose a rewritten Constitution. The Philadelphia Convention voted to keep the debates secret [emphasis added], so that the delegates could speak freely. They also decided to draft a new fundamental government design. Despite Article 13 of the Articles of Confederation stating that the union created under the Articles was "perpetual" and that any alteration must be "agreed to in a Congress of the United States, and be afterwards confirmed by the legislatures of every State," Article VII of the proposed constitution stipulated that only nine of the thirteen states would have to ratify for the new government to go into effect (for the participating states). Current knowledge of the drafting and construction of the United States Constitution comes primarily from the diaries left by James Madison, who kept a complete record of the proceedings at the Constitutional Convention.

Keeping in mind that the Constitution was written and adopted in the absence of lawful authority, one need only compare the Articles of Confederation with the Constitution, and realize the new powers unlawfully granted to the federal government, and you will soon see why government historians might prefer to sweep the whole matter under the rug.

Print EU envoy urges Israel to open Gaza borders
It is Catherine Ashton's second visit to Gaza in six months Israel must go beyond easing its blockade of Gaza and throw open its long-closed border, EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton has said.

Lady Ashton urged the international community to pressure Israel to end the blockade.

She is the most senior Western official to go to Gaza since Israel partly eased curbs on goods entering the territory.

Israel tightened its blockade in 2007 after the Islamist Hamas movement seized control of Gaza.

Lady Ashton did not have any official meetings with Hamas, the Islamist movement that controls Gaza. Its authority is not recognised by the EU, Israel or the US, who describe it as a terrorist organisation.

She went on to the nearby Israeli town of Sderot, which has been regularly targeted by Palestinian rocket attacks.

Her three-day visit to the region comes as peace envoy George Mitchell holds further talks between Israel and West Bank Palestinians in an attempt to restart direct negotiations.

    Devastated economy

"The position of the European Union is very clear: that we want the opportunity for people to be able to move around freely or to see goods, not only coming into Gaza but exports coming out of Gaza," Baroness Ashton said on her second visit to Gaza in six months.

(Israel) did everything it could as far as the humanitarian aid to the civilian population of Gaza is concerned.”
    End Quote
    Yuli Edelstein

    Israeli minister
"And that is the position that we will be discussing with the Israeli government, as well as of course making sure that we're putting the right kind of pressure out to the international community."

The EU official visited UN facilities and spoke to local businessmen in Gaza.

She is due to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu later in the day.

The BBC's Jon Donnison in Gaza says the territory's economy has been devastated by the blockade; exports are still banned and there is 40%unemployment.

Since Israel announced it was easing the blockade, more Israeli food products have been available in Gaza's shops.

However, the UN says it is only getting a fraction of the construction materials it needs.

Aid agencies say building materials are badly needed as the blockade has prevented much reconstruction taking place since the Israeli military offensive which ended in January 2009.

Israeli Public Affairs Minister Yuli Edelstein said he hoped that after her visit, Lady Ashton would understand "that there is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza."

"(Israel) did everything it could as far as the humanitarian aid to the civilian population of Gaza is concerned. At the same time, it's in the best interest of everyone who doesn't want to see a new round of violence in the area, to make sure that no weapons and no ammunition get to the Hamas government".

Quoting in part, my reading is that there are countries putting STRONG pressures on EU to break existing deals with Israel.

    "What can Europe do?
In these historical moments we are witnessing on the regional and international levels, Europe can do a lot. However, Europeans haven't entirely assumed their choices. We cannot be partners only on an economic level. The European Union is not reminding Israel of its duties. By treating Israel as an exceptional state, the European Union has discredited the Mediterranean project in the eyes of the Arab world. After 20 years of agreement, it is high time that the European Union reminds Israel of its obligations as a partner, rather than never endingly offering it unlimited benefits to take advantage from.

Antarctic cold snap kills nine in Argentina
A spell of extreme cold weather has brought ice and snow to much of Argentina, killing at least nine. . . . The cold front moving up from Antarctica has caused temperatures to plunge across the southern cone region of South America.

Deaths have also been reported in Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia.

"The wave of cold air from the polar region continues to affect all of Argentina's territory with intense frosts" Argentina's national meteorological service reported.

It recorded minimum temperatures of minus 14C in Patagonia and central Argentina and between 0C and 3C in the north.

. . . The cold snap also hit Bolivia, where local media reported at least two deaths in the tropical region of Santa Cruz. . . Bolivia's education ministry ordered schools to close until 21 July because of the cold. Low temperatures have also affected Chile, southern Brazil, and eastern Peru. The unusually cold winter weather in South America follows one of the coldest winters for years in many parts of the northern hemisphere"

I agree entirely with your points on Eustace Mullins. However, Carr, the author, has drawn only on material pertaining to Rothschild, as far as I remember, and this information is validated in many places, unlike the rest of the vile vomit that projects from Mullins mouth. Carr has, however, done a great disservice to his credit by drawing on Eustace as a source. It has left a great stain on his book.

There is an anorexic news reader woman named Cambern who preaches her COMMIT TO BE FIT sermons constantly. Today's Columbus Dispatch newspaper has a propaganda piece about how costly it is for local emergency squad workers who have to buy special gurneys for 600 to 1000 pound people to haul them around. How it's costing all of us and something needs to be done to get these people to lose weight. It's a marvel to see how this brainwashing goes on and people don't realize how it's being done.

Obama Moves away from 'Freedom of Religion' toward 'Freedom of Worship'? (and so do others mentioned in the article)

"Words matter - listen carefully to our current administration

"Since the initially strong language on religious freedom used in President Obama's Cairo speech, presidential references to religious freedom have become rare, often replaced, at most, with references to freedom of worship. A purposeful change in language could mean a much narrower view of the right to religious freedom. Does this change of language indicate a change of policy? As Catholics, this is an area where we must remain vigilant. These small changes can be used to change our perception of rights and freedoms.....
    more at link.

The comments are also informative. As several indicated, freedom of worship implies an institutional setting where individuals get together. Freedom of religion is more extensive.

It would be appreciated if Rich P could analyze for us how this ties in with the growing demands of the UN sponsored Alliance of Civilizations.

The nuances need to be covered by someone who has done extensive analysis of the AOC.

Carr's works, like many conspiracy type works, tickles the ears of the gullible, making them think they are learning insider information. Since their writings are not critiqued by the academic community who have access to historical information, they can get away with the most outlandish commentary. (Constance's information passed the test as her information is archived at the University of Michigan at their request.)

Now disinformation is a skill. It isn't all made up as that would make it too easy to dismiss. Those who were writing about Communist propaganda pointed out it is about 75% truth and 25% false conclusions that are tied to factual information. The average reader of these books is not about to sit down at a library table to verify what is written in them. The see something they assume is true and can't believe that someone would deliberately lie to them.

So, what is the purpose of books such as that written by Carr, which by the way I have somewhere, having come across it in the '80s. It diverts the curious searchers off the path to valid information. It presents its ideas in gossipy form and it makes money for the writers.

Carr's book is not unique. There are so many disinformation books out there, more than good sources of information. Junk can find publishers and audiences provided by the disinformation specialists. Good research generally cannot.

As Beatrice Webb, Fabian, said in her book, My Diary, provision must be made for dissidents. They didn't want too many poking their noses into the real changes going on.

DID BP trick the gov't with its containment cap?

All along there has been evidence of "down hole" damage to the Macondo well, yet suddenly last week BP has a magic solution and presto the well is capped! I never bought it. All along Matt Simmons has been saying that the Deepwater Horizon well was not the original breech- that the Rig that exploded was building a relief well under pressure of time for a much larger leak about 7 miles away that was spewing methane and crude from the sea floor. Did Obama or Chu meet with Simmons in Maine last week? IS he advising the gov't? Who knows. One thing we now know is that there is seepage and methane- confirming the dire predictions that have been labeled as conspiracy theories for months.

My question is this... Did BP trick the gov't with this cap? Now that the cap is on, the gov't has done the sonar testing and realizes that there is this "seepage a distance from the well and methane bubbles" and is telling BP that the cap will need to be removed so that the well doesn't become compromised any further, and BP is not cooperating. Is it possible that BP will use the law that deliberately harming the environment with toxins is a crime, to refuse to comply? Constance you're a lawyer, maybe you can tell us that! Then the gov't will have to force the issue in order to remove the cap to containment vessels and BP can say that OK, now any oil that leaks going forward is on your watch and wallet!

BP gets off the hook and the gov't becomes responsible for dealing with this giant lake of oil and gas (Some call a volcano)erupting from the sea floor.

This news is NOT good at all folks.

  59. Terri,

It is a interesting point of observation you have brought up here. While true the number of individuals with high security clearance is growing by leaps and bounds, the DoD and intelligence agencies are restructuring and eliminating many positions that do clerical and other lay work.

Much of this has to do with the implementation of traceability products from EPC Global(a GS1 subsidiary). It interests me that as these agencies implement the Orwellian style systems, there is a growth in the number of eyes needed to monitor the incoming information, while at the same time a decrease in what might be considered collateral positions. One might expect such to be the case in this type of situation, but may miss the greater importance of such.

That being, a individual with high clearance is more likely to be a very ardent company man and less likely to be concerned with how these measures effect the populace. While the lay person being disposed of might be exactly the opposite. Also high security operatives are monitored much more closely by their employer than the average individual, so leaks are far less likely.

The workshop / seminar is an excellent idea. I haven't read all of the posts, but as for a virtual meeting, I thank that's an excellent idea. I regularly use WebEx to hold / participate in meetings with people around the globe.

These types of tools are very effective and offer many features that enable interaction, shared hosting, shared viewing of materials (every type of resource from print, to powerpoint, to video, to web), etc.

Doing a virtual meeting would open this to a global audience, if you chose to go that direction at some point. Virtual meetings could also become, due to their ease of use, a periodic event - shorter but more often, target specific topics, etc. And, at least with WebEx, you can easily record the meeting and make it all (everything said and seen) playable after the meeting with a simple url.

Due to distance, I would not likely be able to travel to Michigan, although that is my birth state and would enjoy revisiting.

…Israel’s new policy should improve the lives of the ordinary people of Gaza while addressing the legitimate security concerns of Israel. The position of the EU is clear: the blockade is unacceptable, unsustainable and counterproductive. It is not in the interests of any of those concerned.

If we can be of value and the parties agree, the EU is ready to support a smooth handling of goods at the crossings, based on to [sic] the Agreement on Movement and Access...

...we have discussed the peace process. I have listened carefully to the positions of both sides and hope a satisfactory way can be found to proceed to direct talks asap, which are now needed if one wishes to make further progress in the negotiations for bringing an end to the conflict.

I have therefore encouraged both the Palestinian Authority and Israel to begin discussions on all final status issues, including security, Jerusalem and borders…

I believe we need to see confidence building measures and at the same time avoid measures that undermine the peace process. In this respect, I have to express my deep concern about recent settlement activity in East Jerusalem…

    Traffic Cameras Worldwide Go Haywire

Speed cameras and red light cameras in the US and Australia accused innocent motorists of wrongdoing.

Speed cameras in California, Florida and Australia are not living up to their image of providing infallible evidence of traffic crimes. To the contrary, officials must find clever excuses to cover for the mistakes that are uncovered with increasing frequency.

In Hallandale, Florida, the private firm American Traffic Solutions mailed a $125 ticket to Phil Kodroff accusing his car of "running a red light" at the intersection of Federal Highway and Hallandale Beach Boulevard on May 22. The Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel reported that Kodroff's vehicle committed this crime at the speed of 0 MPH.

To explain the lack of speed noted on Kodroff's ticket, Hallandale Beach police spokesman Dwayne Flournoy told the Sun Sentinel, "Zero doesn't mean zero."

A motorist in Capitola, California received a red light camera ticket after his car stopped and made a legal turn from 41st Avenue onto Clares Street, the Santa Cruz Sentinel reported. Police once again struggled to come up with an explanation.

"It may have not been the person involved that tripped the light," Capitola Police Sergeant Matt Eller told the Sentinel.

In San Diego, red light cameras are randomly flashing motorists who have done nothing wrong, generating up to thirty complaint calls every day. Local police told KGTV-TV that the flashing happens when the red light camera reboots.

A Queensland, Australia electronic engineering teacher is fighting an A$200 speed camera ticket he says is clearly bogus. The Gold Coast News reported that Philip Williams' motorcycle photographed in Robina last November at 79 km/h (49 MPH) in a 60 (37 MPH) zone. Williams argued that even the radar device's manufacturer, Gatsometer, said the device should not be used on a curve. Moreover, other vehicles are visible in the citation photograph, and radar is unable to determine which vehicle produced the speed reading (the citation shows a Gatso radar, not a lidar device).

  71. 'Israel convinces US with Credible military plan on Iran'

Recent media reports suggests Jerusalem has increased diplomatic efforts to persuade White House that credible military option needed.

Have Israel’s efforts to convince the US to threaten Iran with a credible military option paid off? According to recent media reports, the answer might be yes.

Since the US pushed a fourth round of sanctions against Iran through the UN Security Council last month, Jerusalem has increased diplomatic efforts to convince the White House that for the sanctions to work, a credible military option needs to be on the table to scare Iran to reconsider its pursuit of a nuclear weapon.

An indication that this might have happened came in the latest issue of Time magazine, in an article titled “An Attack on Iran: Back on the Table.”

Written by Joe Klein, the article claims that in recent months, the US military’s Central Command has made significant progress in planning targeted air strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, some of which were deemed impossible to penetrate just two years ago.

According to the report, the progress was made possible by the “vastly improved human-intelligence operations in the region.

I can't speak to whether Randy Alcorn has any ties to the NAM. I will tell you that he has written an excellent pamphlet book on how birth control pills can cause abortion. http://www.epm.org/store/product/birth-control-pill-book/

I think it more likely that they will threaten to reduce coverage if they cannot take control of the patients diet, etc. The vast majority will comply. However, there is indeed a chance that could occur for those who just refuse to give up control.

Be careful to examine self to see that your toolbox not only contain a hammer----in the event that everything we look at...appear to be a nail. Randy Alcorn even ?.....my own cautions begin to arise at the collection of assertions here that are so quick to condemn before things be proven. This is very sad and disappointing and causes me to wonder if I am wasting my time here. No offense to you personally Constance--just bringing up a concern considering that we are all fallible people that need to examine ourselves continually.
Please refrain from making accustations against a person with words to back up your argruement before making statements that put a person in a negative light. Most especially if they be professing to be our kin in Christ. It would stand to reason that people would be more apt to listen to the reasonings here when people are treated with the mutual respect that you yourself would want for yourself or your own friend. Again, if someone is to be lumped into the NA category---please refrain unless you have words to prove your point. May we not be the blind leading the blind that blindly accepts any given statement without first looking into the matter.

  80. JC,

In fairness I don't believe anything negative was said about Alcorn, simply a question was posed concerning him. Not all questions about individuals or even suspicions are condemnations. This is often a good forum for debate on many subjects and sometimes I think the difference between respective debate and the level of good analysis it can provide and petty argumentation can be lost here.

New names pop up in debates and discussion here frequently. Sometimes with very different points made about a individual, others lead to complete agreement on where a person falls on the list. Tangible evidence should be sought before determination, but it is through discussion and sometimes disagreement that such is often found.

I agree that there should be a level which we hold our selves to when going about this. However if we do not ask these pertinent questions, we ourselves fall very short of this mark. Most of us work hard to report strictly facts about a individual, letting a reader conclude what they will. Do a few bad associations mean the individual is bad themselves? No. Does this mean we should not report these associations? Definitely not.

If I say someone is associated with known members of NAR or the Family, it is simply a warning to others that they may wish to examine this person more in depth. I know others here who work the same way. Simply reporting a association is not a accusation, it is simply pointing out a fact that may lead to further discovery.

I say this simply to point out, that many posts here are not intended as the final word on a subject, but as part of a work in progress. Yes there are times when someone jumps the gun on something (I have been guilty here as well) or when some of us will just not agree on a subject. But, research is a constant learning process and this forum consists of many different people learning at different rates and with differing levels of understanding.

What can seem like bickering to some, may be in actuality a pleasant debate over a complex issue. I have been both a outside observer and active participant in some of these. The fact that everything is in written form and no one can see the actual emotion displayed can play into this as well. Some may even take this very comment as me being harsh, when it is in reality meant simply as a informative observation from some one who has been here a while to someone who is fairly new that I don't want to see get disheartened and leave.

Well said. I would agree with your response on all points. As I look back to the particular comment about Alcorn, I stand corrected. That is not to say I do not still stand by my words in principle. Thank you for taking the time to address this so well.

  82. JC,

I agree with the principle and the spirit in which it was broached. I simply wanted to add my observations, as there have been times I have seen things get blown way out of proportion by third parties outside of a conversation, when in fairness to it's participants the tone intended was civil. That is not to say there are not examples of uncivil behavior and given the often heated subject matter we are still subjective to our all too human nature. I am glad you were able to see my comment in the spirit it was intended in. Thanks for what you have added as well to recent discussions.

BP's oil disaster is good for the "green" agenda. A total economic collapse would be even better.

The planned RE-wilding of America benefits greatly from any increase in Federal regulation and government control, which is something we can always count on following any type of environmental disaster, war, or economic instability and/or turmoil.

What specifically is driving the "green" agenda? Is it concern for the environment, or is it hatred towards humanity?

    Here's a clue...

The Center for Biological Diversity says that gray wolves are "the engine of evolution."

"Gray wolves should be recovered in multiple, connected populations throughout the United States, according to a scientific petition filed today by the Center for Biological Diversity with Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service."

“Existing recovery plans for wolves in the northern Rocky Mountains and upper Midwest are out of date and apply to a small fraction of the wolf’s historic range,” said the Center’s Michael Robinson. “It’s time to develop a national recovery plan to facilitate true recovery of the gray wolf.”

“Science teaches us that we need far more wolves that range across a much wider swath of the continent than the current minimalistic approach.”

I, for one, do not regard wolves as the "engine of evolution", but rather as the main "tool" the greens are using to facilitate their anti-human agenda. Wolves are the hammer, and wolf recovery areas are the vice that will squeeze rural Americans off of the land and into increasingly controlled and compacted urban habitation zones where everyone will be dependent on the government for survival.

The Center for Biological Diversity petition can be found here:

I have a friend who reads these threads. She doesn't post here however. When she read about electronic medical records, she sent me the following:

A year ago or so my doctor's office went the route of going paperless..
I just got back from the pharmacy . Have been going there for forty years. The pharmacist said he wanted to talk to me and took me to his office (I have known the guy for many many years.)

He told me that a couple of my precriptions were not covered by Medicare Part D and I told him I know that. I choose to pay for the real meds rather than generic for a reason I won't go into now. But, the point of this email is to say that by my talking to the pharmacist, I found out that the prescription was different than what my doctor ordered. And, I will tell her what the girl she hired did next time I see her.

The doctor told her what the prescription is (instead of writing out the script herself like she used to do - never had a problem before) Then she types it up and plants some red seal on it to make it legal. Then, she can fax it to my pharmacist (wow - all that expense and fuss of hiring another employee so she can fax it, In addition, it is put on a computer in my records. Now, it is wrong on the computer and it probably doesn't make any difference unless I end up in the hospital and the hospital checks my records. When I tell them I take two a day of the heart meds, they will say I take one a day? My doctor's records go to Elmhurst Hospital.

I do remember what the doctor told me about how much meds to take but there are people who do not. My mother's former neighbor, Pauline is 95 years old and single with no children, She is fading so her nephew came in from another state to help her. He is trying to take care of her finances and get help for her because she does not want to go to assisted living. He called me and told me that Pauline only trusts my sister Alice and me. The point is Pauline does not remember what the doctor tells her (so her nephew said today) so how would she know that some silly person typed up the wrong dosage on a script? Just another step between a doctor and a patient. How many deaths will that cause.

Regarding electronic health records, this should be interesting. Following up on a story that said abortions and HIV could be excluded from such a record, I saw a story that said
    http://cnsnews.com/news/article/54999

"Blumenthal was asked in a follow-up question to clarify if the EHRs were mandatory or voluntary.

“Let me say this again: No one will ever be forced to use an electronic health record if they don’t want to,” said Blumenthal. “This is always going to be between doctors and patients. Now--so, that’s a given and so that, by definition, makes them voluntary.”

    However, the story also says,
"To make certain this happens, the law provides for doctors, hospitals, and other health care providers to be given financial incentives to begin participating in the EHR system by 2014. Doctors, hospitals and health care providers that fail to make “meaningful use” of the system by 2015, the law says, will be penalized with reductions in their Medicare payments."

What will happen between the patient and doctor if the patient says no to the electronic record should be interesting.

Ages ago, in a translation class, we were shown a sentence that illustrated how difficult automatic translation is: Time flies like an arrow (3 possible meanings although 2 of them are absurd). Whole different topic. I came across a great blogspot by ex-gay activist turned Christian, Michael Glatze. Among other things he said that, in retrospect, his hateful activism was fueled by desire to stifle his conscience. He also mentions Milk, a deceased gay activist recently portrayed (although some of the immoral stuff has been carefully left out to make him some sort of hero)by Sean Penn. michaelglatze.blogspot.com

Iran tells lawmakers to respond to fuel sanctions

The lawmakers adopted the bill in response to the latest round of sanctions imposed on Iran over its nuclear programme by the United Nations Security Council, the United States and the European Union.

Tehran: Iran's parliament approved a law yesterday calling on the government to retaliate against any countries that inspect the Islamic state's ships and aircraft or refuse to provide fuel to its aircraft as part of foreign sanctions, the semi-official Fars news agency reported.

The lawmakers adopted the bill in response to the latest round of sanctions imposed on Iran over its nuclear programme by the United Nations Security Council, the United States and the European Union.

The bill included no details of what form retaliation should take, and it was not immediately clear if it was more than a symbolic gesture of protest against the sanctions.

As the article states, there was a split in Freemasonry during the ninteenth-century:

Emerging in the late 16th century in England and subsequently spread throughout the world, the Freemasons split in 1877 between the English-speaking lodges and their continental counterparts over the question of god. Anglophone Freemasons require that their members believe in a deity, while continental freemasons do not.....

    Dorothy,

    you wrote,

"Carr's works, like many conspiracy type works, tickles the ears of the gullible, making them think they are learning insider information. Since their writings are not critiqued by the academic community who have access to historical information, they can get away with the most outlandish commentary."

Such as Clockwork Orange you mean? Or 1984?

    "Now disinformation is a skill."

Then let the people be informed and freed to think for themselves rather than have some set vain contrivances against them!
