Will Solana send warships against Iran as he did against Canada?

WILL JAVIER SOLANA ACT AS QUICKLY AGAINST IRAN AS HE DID AGAINST CANADA IN MARCH 1995?

Update: Solana didn't need to send the warships. Iran already gave it back. Read about it at http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=agUEW.vH2l3o&refer=home

Today Iran seized an EU country oil rig for allegedly violating its Persian Gulf water space. It accused the European drilling company owning the rig of “hijacking” another rig. Herb Peters has reported his personal belief that this will force Solana “to show the stuff he is made of.” Read all about it here. Well, perhaps there is historical precedent to predict the stuff of which Javier Solana is made. I have written about it in back blogspots. Read all about that here!

In March of 1995, Javier Solana, getting ready to enter his 6 month coinciding presidencies of the European Union and the ten nation Western European Union (WEU) faced a potentially non-cooperative Morocco. As Solana was also putting together his planned Barcelona Process, he badly needed Morocco’s cooperation. As most know, there is little love historically lost between Spain and Morocco. Conflicts continue to this very day. Morocco demanded concessions and Solana was in a position to award them. First, Morocco demanded the right to sell produce in the European markets. “Granted,” said Mr. Solana and associates. That cut into potential markets for at least Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, and Greece. Then Morocco made the cruelest cut of all. They demanded that Spain immediately cease and desist fishing its coastal waters. “Granted,” said Mr. Solana and his Spanish government cohorts. (Remember, Solana was a mere foreign minister of one of 12 EU countries at that time – Spain.)

This resulted in approximately 600 unemployed fishing trawlers with owners and crews sitting angrily in Spanish ports. They were, as I recall, even threatening a national strike.

Now, it's kind of hard to be a great world leader and have revolution brewing in one’s back yard. The ever clever Dr. Solana and his respective think tanks came up with a solution: GO FISH CANADA.

They did. They fished Canada’s halibut, cod, and turbot stocks almost to the point of extinction. They focused their fishing efforts on Canada’s Newfoundland coastal area. Canadians were not happy. They complained to the USA which helped pinpoint illegal Spanish fishing methods. Canada’s smoking gun came when the Estai, a Spanish trawler strayed into Canadian waters. Canada took it into custody.

What did our “very good friend” Javier Solana thereafter do? He promptly dispatched three (3 count ‘em) warships against Canada. Then he gave a press conference which should have been infamous for its double talk. “Yes, there are international treaties regarding fishing”, said Dr. Solana. But, he continued, they govern only the types of fish caught and not the amount. “If we are going to place limits on fishing, they should apply to all countries alike and not just to Spain”, he continued. Then, most audaciously and historically dubious of all, he gave his grand finale by proclaiming that “besides, the Spaniards discovered those Newfoundland fishing banks. Therefore, we should have every right to exploit them.”

Well, how did all this play out? Like about everything else Dr. Solana has ever done, he came out smelling like a rose. Immediately after the Israeli treaty was signed, but before the Barcelona Conference opened on November 27-28, 1995, he concluded a new fishing treaty with Morocco permitting the Spanish fishermen to return to its fishing banks. This gave Canada some reassurance that the Spanish ships would no longer be a threat. Never mind that it would take years for the severely depleted fishing stocks to recover! Then he concluded the Barcelona Process, was given sole credit for the “diplomatic accomplishment,” and only two days later, he was unanimously made the new dark horse candidate head of NATO. Canada, of course, was one of the countries voting for him. My bet is that they did so under USA duress.

Oh, and did Canada remember? Evidently not. In 2006 under the leadership of former Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin, Canada signed a treaty to contribute its troops to Solana’s European armies. If you’ve clicked on the “read all about it above,” you will find ready links to that story.

Well, it should be equally interesting to watch this one play out. I’m betting that Solana ends up working this one to his advantage as well – after all he wanted “emergency powers” and as we all know, in those Club of Rome circles, “crisis = opportunity.”

Well, I wonder how long until Europe sends warships to Iran? I wonder how long until Iran sends soldiers to Solana’s EU army? I wonder when that moon will be red again? I wonder if I’m right or wrong!

As friend and co-reporter Herb Peters admonishes, stay tuned!

And oh won't it look so impressive when Solana stands up to Iran and either takes action or talks his way out of not talking a firm stand by going the agreement route.

Since Solana goes into stealth mode with his actions, we never quite know whether he succeeds.

By the way here a cute question and answer based on the fauxphotography.
Q: Why does Nasrallah look so successful?

    A: Hiz bull ahhh!

Has anyone wondered if we should simply leave Iran alone? We are still facing the blowback for overthrowing their government in '53 (when we threw out Time magazine's Man of the Year from '52). If we try to destabilize--or worse--them again, who knows what will happen?

  6. Earl Creps is a professor in the A of G theological seminary. He seems to be pushing the Emerging church movement along with it;s baggage (namely contemplative prayer) in the Assemblies of God. I read through his blog yesterday, there is not denying it. Anyway, I saw a blog from a guy named David and it looked very similar to what Davidinbattlecreek wrote.

  7. On topic,

It truly amazes me to see all that is going on in the world, to understand bible prophecy makes it even more amazing. I am concerned with christians in American that are too busy or plain don;t think that prophecy is relevant. After all, "no one knows the day or hour, right?". A misuse of scripture, christians are good at that. We are in the end time and anyone who doesn't think so needs to get in the word a little more.

  11. Sorry, JBoldt, it wasn't me. I never even heard of Earl Creps. I do actually have a blog, but I wouldn't call what I wrote "articles." My last entry on my blog had to do with bashing shows on Playhouse Disney. Now, that's way off the topic. I usually stick to my DavidinBattleCreek tag so everyone will know there's more than just cereal going on here in Battle Creek.

  12. Besides, for the record, I'm not in favor at all with contemplative prayer. After reading the latest Herescope entries I'm even more convinced. On Herescope there's a review of an online book dealing with Rick Warren. It's very interesting. I haven't read the whole book.

What's interesting about the oil rig incident is I have not heard a single word about it in the media. If it was an American rig, it certainly would have made it.

As for backing off Iran I think we all learned are lessons from Hitler about the dangers of doing this. Of course, if this is part of the fulfillment of prophecy, there isn't much we can do about it. Except pray. You know, in the normal method of prayer that Jesus instructed us to do.

Question: why is Iran and North Korea both being so confrontational virtually at the same time? Do they have a secret phone line?

Jboldt73: I completely empathize with you. I think Revelation 3:15 speaks directly to us (the modern Christian Church, especially in the US):
"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. 19Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. 20Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. 21To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

I'll go even further to write that I think verses 16-19 speak to our 'condition,' including pre-trib rapture notions. In praying on this I was led to Hebrews 11 and 12, which I'll only paste a portion of:
"4In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. 5And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons:
"My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline,
and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,
6because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son."[a]

7Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? 8If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. 9Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! 10Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness. 11No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it."

So, while the elect will be spared from God's wrath, I believe that we will all be refined by "fire", have opportunity to "clean our garments," put "salve on our eyes," etc., and endure the tribulation even unto death.

I'm getting onto a rant, and apologize folks...this is all new, and exciting, and terrorifying, and wonderful for me. So, back on topic...from the media today:

"...Rice, meanwhile, telephoned Javier Solana, the senior European Union diplomat who oversees exchanges with Iran. No account of their conversation, nor of her meeting with the president, was provided."

    -New in Christ

P.S. I have received some very good guidance from folks here...please feel free to continue!!!

    New in Christ:
I do believe you are right when describing a lot of the churches, or even the majority of churches here in the U.S. I have already been washed by the blood of Christ, and will not need the tribulation to wash me cleen.
    Rev. 3:10
"Because you have kept My command to perevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole wold, to test those who dwell on the earth". I am ready to be 'caught up' and why? Jesus referenced that there would be people dwelling someplace else other than earth. Why would he need to tell us "those that dwell upon the whole world" We have been told this in many places of the Bible.
    Luke 21:35
"For it will come as a snare on those who dwell on the face of the whole earth".
There is the 'face of the whole earth' comment again. He is making this statement because there is another place that humans dwell.

    Luke 21:36
"Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."

Notice that He says we have a chance to escape all these things? Also where will we be when we escape these things? Before Jesus Christ Himself in heaven. I am an optomist, my glass is half full, not half empty. But more than that, my glass is overflowing because I am already paid for by the Blood of Christ. I don't need to be washed again. I am proud to be called 'a child of God' through Jesus Christ my Lord. This is not something I will have to work for during the tribulation. I have been accepted by faith.
If your happy and you know it clap your hands!

  30. I have four ways I archive materials from websites:

    1. If in MicroSoft Browser, try saving the file in *.mht extension format, e.g. File name.mht You can use the internet name already given the file, or rename it to something meaningful to you and then save to the directory file assigned by the topic. I personally manage mine as one large filing cabinet with "A Files", "B Files", "C Files, etc." and subfolders within those files. Those files in their turn are part of a larger inclusive file called "research." I also have a separate C Drive file called "Prophetic Websites," where I have separate files for such sites as "fulfilledprophecy.com"

Another excellent way to archive is with Adobe Acrobat Professional or one of its act alike pdf filecreation substitutes.

Another excellent program for cut and paste archiving is MicroSoft ONE NOTE program.

If worse comes to worse, cut and paste it into your notebook or if space is a real concern, save it in *.txt format.

    Hope this helps!

  33. Here's another interesting article tidbit from Lighthouse Trail Research's newsletter on Rick Warren:
On August 17th, acclaimed interviewer and broadcast journalist Charlie Rose interviewed Rick Warren.

In the interview, Rose and Warren discuss the Purpose Driven Life paradigm and its relation to Christianity in North America and around the world. Here are a few of the comments:

    1. Rick Warren states there are over 2 billion Christians in the world, and says that this number includes hundreds of millions of Catholics.

    2. Warren said that, with regard to his book, "I couldn't figure out why it became such a phenomena. I think now it was because God wanted to provide a platform for these other issues we care about." (Warren's 5 global giants)

    3. "I've been taking people, irreligious people, people with no background in any kind of faith or they haven't been to church or synagogue or temple in forty years ... and we take them where they need to be.... My goal is to move the American church [away] from self-centered consumerism.

This interview showed very clearly Warren's dream to see Christians and Catholics join together, stating that "minor doctrinal differences" should not keep them separated. "What I am interested in is bringing the church together ... we are never going to agree on a lot of things, but I found we do agree on purpose." He talked about the purposes that all Catholics and Protestants agree on.

But as he has done so many times in the past, Warren took his ecumenism a big step further than just a union of Catholics and Protestants. As Warren did at the Pew Forum on Religion last year, he explained to Rose his "man of peace" concept and said that every village, every government, every place has a man (or woman) of peace: "The man of peace is open and influential ... and here's the other thing, the man of peace does not have to be a Christian believer ... could be Muslim, could be Jewish." Warren said that Jesus sent out his disciples to go find the man of peace in every village. He said Jesus sent them out to find people who would work with them on solving poverty, sickness and the other problems of the world.(He said that they did not have to agree with the disciples message or beliefs.) In the same vein, Warren said that we don't have to have the same religion or moral beliefs to work with people on poverty, disease, etc. As an example he said he just met with the President of the gay-activist group ACT UP, and asked him, "Eric [Sawyer], how can I help you get your message out?" Sawyer answered, "Use your moral authority." Warren then said to Rose, "I'm working with these guys ... I'm looking for a coalition of civility, which means let's get back to the original meaning of tolerance. (See our previous post on Rick Warren's "coalition of civility.")

Warren has made a terrible distortion of what Scripture actually says. Jesus told his disciples to go out and call people to repentance whereas Warren is suggesting that we are to ignore our differences (including moral differences) and work together for peace (peace was not a goal that Jesus gave the disciples but rather was a blessing the disciples could give to a house that received their message):

These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: "Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.... Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. And when you go into a household, greet it. If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!" Matthew 10:5- 15

"Who's the man of peace in any village - or it might be a woman of peace - who has the most respect, they're open and they're influential? They don't have to be a Christian. In fact, they could be a Muslim, but they're open and they're influential and you work with them to attack the five giants. And that's going to bring the second Reformation." Rick Warren, May 23, 2005, Pew Forum on Religion

Shining a spotlight on these movements, which I believe are very calculated plans started by the New Age Movement, is just as important as spotlighting Solana, the EU, and political events in the world, particularily in the Middle East.

Isn't it amazing how apostate movements are happening virtually at the same time as the events in the Middle East. And no one seems to even have a clue that it's happening. In her turn, she has a new story up about an extremely apostaste ELCA church with a woman pastor giving communion in the name of "the goddess". It is one of the most evil examples of pure apostasy I have seen yet and the scriptural correlation with what we are now viewing as apparent end time events is 'MEASURE THE SANCTUARY AND THOSE WHO WORSHIP THEREIN, BUT THE OUTER COURT LEAVE OUT FOR IT IS GIVEN UNTO THE GENTILES FOR 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty [and] two months." That is exactly the period for the reign of the antichrist. More than possible that those events could be and are in fact coinciding!

    Dorothy:
That link you posted for Hitler and the Nazzi movement was very good. It is truly amazing when watching it you cant help but compare the modern state of Iran to it. It shows Hitlers beginnings as well as the beliefs that got him there. Then time just falls in to play on the world scene. Iran has followed that exact same pattern. But at this point the president of Iran is about to make the move, just as hitler did. The time line of the Nazzi's is almost identicle to the movement in Iran. To say the least, it was well worth the watch, especially keeping Iran in mind while watching it. I'm sure there are other aspects to gain from watching it, but Iran came to the forefront for me. May Jesus open the Jewish eyes.

Yesterday while mowing my lawn I didn't notice a yellow jacket nest. Yellow jacket's have very small nests about the size of a walnut, maybe a bit larger. If I had known it was there, I would've been more wary. Unfortunately, I didn't know it was there. I was stung five times. Even believers can get stung if they are unaware of possible dangers around them. There's not much we can do about yellow jackets, but there's plenty we can do to prepare for the events of the "end-times."

  45. Lighthouse trails gathered some interesting quotes from New Agers and those folks supporting contemplative prayer:

New Agers and Contemplatives Speak About Mysticism

"I would like to explore what I call interspirituality: a crossing-over boundaries that mysticism makes possible and concrete.... [t]he spiritual common ground which exists among the world’s religions." Wayne Teasdale (who coined the term interspirituality)

"[M]ysticism provides some hope for common ground between Christianity and Islam." Tony Campolo, Speaking My Mind

"The meditation of advanced occultists is identical with the prayer of advanced mystics: it is no accident that both traditions use the same word for the highest reaches of their respective activities ... occultism is defined as the science of mystical evolution; it is the employment of the hidden (i.e. occult) mystical faculties of man to discern the hidden reality of nature, i.e. to see God as the all in all." Richard Kirby, The Mission of Mysticism

"Mysticism is the awakening to and cultivation of transcendental consciousness. It is unitive awareness. All forms of mystical wisdom are unitive, that is, nondual. This is a significant point of convergence among the religions themselves." Wayne Teasdale

"Through the discipline of contemplative prayer, Christian leaders have to learn to listen to the voice of love ... For Christian leadership to be truly fruitful in the future, a movement from the moral to the mystical is required." Henri Nouwen, In the Name of Jesus (Recommended by Kay Warren, wife of Rick Warren)

"I built myself a prayer room—a tiny sanctuary in a basement closet filled with books on spiritual disciplines, contemplative prayer, and Christian mysticism. In that space I lit candles, burned incense, hung rosaries, and listened to tapes of Benedictine monks. I meditated for hours on words, images, and sounds. I reached the point of being able to achieve alpha brain patterns..."Mike Perschon, Youth Specialties Magazine, December 2004

"This mystical stream [contemplative prayer and other monastic traditions] is the Western bridge to Far Eastern spirituality." Tilden Edwards, Spiritual Friend (recommended by Richard Foster)

I am going to have a discussion with my Pastor on Wednesday about contemplative prayer and the EmChurch movement. He knows nothing about the prayer, but is vary familiar with authors like Kimball, McClaren, and McManus. I found out that the youth pastor has already done prayer stations with the youth. I want to state my case to pastor and share my concerns with him. It should be engaging, I don't exppect much I just want him to be aware of the dangers of the movement as I see it.

The Ethical Globalization Initiative is featured in a World Goodwill newsletter. The Initiative is tied to Aspen Institute, a powerful international think tank which you will see referred to in the media as Wye Plantation.

Not everything is sponsored by Lucis Trust. The jobs are spread around.

In fact, the headquarters of Lucis Trust in NYC appears to be quite small with a tiny little waiting room with brochures and a set of the books. The library which is open to the public is extremely tiny compared to the one run by the Theosophical Society in Wheaton, IL.
But then I've learned that some organizations have what could be considered mail drop offices when the real business is run elsewhere.

Just note that there has been no history of the organization in print and available to the public even though it is an international organization which has been around for over 80 years.

I'll add to the 2010 time frame. The Alliance of Civilizations intends to introduce its recommendations before the UN General Assembly in September 2007. Once approved, the Alliance plans for a 24 month implementation period. This would firmly seat the Alliance of Civilizations as a world wide entity by the end of 2009.

    According to one Alliance report:
"Symbols can be very effective tools in advancing a cause. The creation of a house or temple of religions or civilizations in as many cities as possible will be a tangible and important step in this direction."

I suspect by the end of 2009 we will see a HUGE Alliance presence, along with a most unpleasant symbol.

I will be compiling much of the material I've been reading very soon and forward it to Constance and Dorothy for review and perhaps publication.

The goal of the Alliance is very similar to the goal of Rick Warren's P.E.A.C.E. Plan. Planting a church in a community to become the focal point of a worldwide distribution system. It doesn't have to be a church, it can be a mosque or temple or whatever dominate religion is a part of a particular community, according to RW.

JBoldt, I hope and pray it works out for you. I know that once contemplative prayer becomes a practice in your church, it may lead to other New Age practices even more deceptive than contemplative prayer.

....clearly this is happening. I have a question on this, however. I was under the impression that the antichrist is going to pluck out 3 nations from the roots after he offically confirms his 7 year peace treaty with Israel. Aren't the 3 nations, likely going to be The EU3? Britian, Germany, & France? Now that France is buddy-ing up with Solana, it seems that they may not be plucked out after all. Your thoughts? Thanks!

Chirac likes the idea of the EU because it pulls more money into France than France gives toward EU spending. Chirac doesn't support Solana to the extent that it will cost him EU troops in Lebanon. He just wants to give orders. Blair and some in the government might support the US, but the newspapers in the UK are very antisemitic.

A side note. Israel has worked to provide bomb shelters for its civilians because of attacks on it in the past. That's why there are fewer civilian casualties in Israel in spite of the number of missles that have hit it. If you go to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, you will find a detailed summary of of military activities as well as a thread that lists civilian and military casualties and the reasons for their death.
    http://tinyurl.com/zm83q

It appears that Hezbollah has more civilian casualties because they operated mobile launchers in civilian areas. They can claim their military are civilians because there is no uniform.

The Israel-Lebanon conflict may have delayed the timetable of the New Age politicians if this analysis is correct.

Someone has probably already broached the idea, but is it possible that the "3 subdued horns" of Daniel are as follows (quote is from C.C.'s above posted link):

"Ahead of the 2003 invasion, Britain, Italy, Spain and some eastern European states allied themselves with the United States, while the rest of Europe led by France and Germany..."

Blair (Britain), Berlusconi (Italy) and Aznar (Spain) were in power at the time.

    1) Berlusconi of Italy has since been replaced by Romano Prodi (whose name reportedly means "forerunner of the Roman one", 2) Aznar of Spain has since been replaced by Socialist Zapatero (following the train bombing in Madrid), and 3) Blair has given hints of stepping down soon.

One reason that the 3 subdued horns" may be Britain, Spain and Italy (as opposed to the "EU-3" or "Big 3," Britain, France and Germany) is that Blair (Britain), Aznar (Spain) and Berlusconi (Italy) were all in power as members of the 10-nation WEU when Solana (little horn?) first made his appearance as Secretary-General of the WEU (the same cannot be said of Germany as Chirac is no longer in power).

In other words, they would have all been "horns" together.

    Dorothy,
You make a wonderful point. Israel had enough sense to build bomb shelters for their civilians because they have been hated since the beginning of time. Correction to the post made at 4:48. The end of the first paragraph should read as follows:

Chirac, of France, is very pro-Solana, which would seem to disqualify him as one of the possible subdued "3 horns" of Daniel.

Hi, all this is important and I believe Solana's move is soon, but also important and relevant is the information you can find on Patrick Woods' site "The August Review.Com" about our upcoming (United States of North America) which will be similar to Solana's EU. The Global NWO plans are that by 2010 with Bush, Fox and Canada's new prime minister through executive orders in March ,2005 and April, 2006 meetings where they and others set up 20 group/working committees in each country to establish the rules and regulations to be used (see the Council on Foreign Relations magazine Foreign Affairs May 2005 on North American Union )in each country of which these people have been planning,(see WWW.SPP.GOV) and how it is falling into place (COULD SOLANA BE THE WORLD DICTATOR OVER ALL THESE REGIONS?!!!.) This is why I also believe Javier Solana's time is near to step in, as many in some circles also believe Russia seems to now have hooks in her jaws and evil thoughts to move in the Middle East and regain her position in the world she had lost as a super power. The comments on how the "churches" are not warning us and have entered into full APOSTASY also shows us why our Lord warned us to come out of the churches who are using the dialectic and the total quality management model that has been in our government, military, and schools and is now in full force...and the last bastion to invade said Peter Drucker is the churches... and it has happened. THE TIMES ARE VERY INTERESTING . I hope youall will check out Patrick's site because it correlates many points. Also a big THANKS to Constance here for the book "The Hidden Dangers Of The Rainbow" . It brought a young witch to the Lord that we were working with. The book just clicked for her, as it explained so well what so many of us had tried to explain, it also showed her lifestyle ,thoughts and actions in word form ,so She saw the New Age for what it really was and it all just finally clicked for her(Thanks to the HOLY SPIRIT) and the book being available and she has now accepted Jesus as her Savior(prayer works). She then witnessed to a Sunday School class about what the new age really is and how our young people are being pulled in so quickily and its real dangers.Thank you for letting me drop in this info.

    To Dorothy,

Thanks for the Occult & Third Reich video link. Its opening lines immediately brought to mind something I had just read by the Alliance of Civilizations. The quotes are:

From The Occult History of the Third Reich Adolf Hitler - May 1933, all over Germany Nazi students, Brown Shirts, and Hitler Youth gather and burn books by the thousand. Works of literature, philosophy and science believed un-German are consigned to the flames. Adolph Hitler has declared war on reason itself. “People set us down as enemies of intelligence" proclaims Hitler. "We are, but in a much deeper sense than those conceited dolts of bourgeois scientists ever dreamed of…”"

From the Alliance of Civilizations -
“Rather than learning “hard knowledge” from text-books, young people “learn by doing” through peer-education methods and voluntary work.

“If we insist on critical thinking, it is to make understand what could be the response of free youth organizations to:
    - instabilities
    - the threat of fundamentalism and propaganda
    - the elaboration of cultural prejudices
    - social exclusion

“Non formal education helps to empowerment children and young people”

Does anyone else smell the distant smoke an upcoming book burning?

I just wonder if the devil's new age thread is played out. The middle class of europe and America don't reproduce, the third world is their future. For America its a Hispanic future, but for europe it's a Muslim future. A european caliph would make a nice antichrist and in fact the muslim prophecies of the imam mahdi are eerily similar to the Biblical prophecies of the antichrist, see:

    http://answering-islam.org.uk/Authors/JR/Future/

Could you imagine how a Muslim caliph ruling in europe would galvanize the world! Especially if he gains the approval of the catholic church as I suspect he will and especially if he displays "signs and wonders".

Also the Mohammed tactic of conquering through false peace treaties seems to fit the antichrist well.

I just don't see any religious overtones to Solano. He may be an antichrist wannabee, but he's got to show more charisma and some kind of spiritual direction for me to be convinced. Matt,

The Bailey writings say that the new age christ will appear in a way that no religious group could claim him as their own. Benjamin Creme tells us he is to be a teacher in the broadest sense of the term. Solana would fit these descriptions.

As far as the false miracle of making fire appear to come from the heavens, Solana is a physicist and I suspect he may be able to make that happen too.

    Just some thoughts to ponder.

    Matt,

The Bailey writings say that the new age christ will appear in a way that no religious group could claim him as their own.

You talk as if the Bailey writings are prophetic. They are not. None of the devils 'prophecies' have the surety of God's prophecies. In fact we must assume that the devil himself does not know who the antichrist will be!

This is a very important point I think. Jesus himself, at least while he was on the earth, did not know the day or hour of his coming. I therefore believe the devil does not know either. Thus I believe he has to keep several irons in the fire so to speak. So he has the Muslim religion, which (at least in the Shiite tradition) has a set of prophecies that fit in nicely with antichrist, and he has the new age thread, which also has a number of 'predictions' that fit with the last days. Hitler was perhaps an example of an attempt with an occultic adept to make an antichrist, that ultimately failed.

I thus offer this thesis. Since the new agers are largely confined in the west to children of the middle class, they do not have much staying power as far as world population trends are concerned. In fact it seems that the plan is to destroy the middle class altogether. I submit therefore that if the new age antichrist does not appear within the next 10-15 years that the longer term trends strongly favor an overtly muslim antichrist. Unless you want to posit that the United States is the 11'th beast kingdom. That's a whole other topic however.

  81. Anonymous7:27 AM

Matt, in one respect you are right. The Bailey writings would not be prophetic if you are a monotheistic believer and use these definitions:
    # An inspired utterance of a prophet, viewed as a revelation of divine will.
    # A prediction of the future, made under divine inspiration.

The world is a big place though, and there are many who believe the Bailey writings are inspired. Being cynical, I have seen there are others who want to present the words as authentic and thus create a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Theosophical and Lucis Trust people do not present information on a platter. They give neither a timeline nor a history that can be studied. Information must be dug out, piece by piece. It is obvious that you haven't done that or followed the writings of some who have.

Lucis Trust activity is international as is theosophical activity. With the internet you can get much information with little effort, something not possible before even 20 years ago. You might start with the Whole Again website. You might put Islam and New Age in a search. Politics and New Age is another field that has yet to be explored by academics who have started on religion and New Age. While we cannot wait for academic writing, it is necessary because academics to have the time and support to work with the details that support the case that New Age is a major, international cultural change effort in progress.

I would suggest you read Constance Cumbey's books, her newsletters, this blog in its entirety, and listen to as many tapes as you can get your hands on before you continue to make grand pronouncements.

    Matt,

Solana has been working hard to accumulate absolute power in the European Union and has been very successful. The constitution which was recently rejected by the French and Dutch, would have given Solana the position of Foreign Minister. That constitution would have combined the Judicial & Policing and Military & Foreign Policy pillars of the European Union into one and placed them into the hands of one Javier Solana. The constitution also required that all member states militarize and place those troops at the command of the Foreign Minister. Even though the constitution was defeated, implementation of its components have continued anyway. Some EU MEPs are strongly warning of an authoritarian regime on the rise. Solana told the nations that it did not matter that the constitution was defeated, what matters is that they get used to the idea. I suppose so. Solana has the blessed assurance of the Western European Union Recommendation 666 (written by Solana for Solana) which gives him absolute power over the two pillars in the event of a crisis situation.

All that needs to happen now is a crisis situation to pull the authoritarian trigger. Very few people in the United States understand this. Many people in Europe fully and dreadfully understand. In 2000, Sweden and Finland walked out of a EU Council meeting following what is known as the “Solana Decision”. The Solana Decision was enacted while the EU parliament, Commission, and Council were on a month-long break. The Decision enabled the EU Council and the Commission to operate in complete secrecy. Up until the decision, the European Ombudsman was hearing cases brought before it which pertained to governing documents and secrecy. The Ombudsman consistently ruled against the Council and Commission thus requiring them to make public documents. The Commission and Council acted defiantly even after the rulings. The Solana Decision stripped the ombudsman of its authority on matters pertaining to secrecy. The Netherlands angrily stated that they had just been taken over by Solana in a military coup.

Is Solana just a misunderstood guy? Unlikely. When has a dictator so painstakingly accumulated power and not used it?

  84. Solana's current public image may lack religious overtones, but how much do we really know about all the sides of this man. Who knows?

The New Age movement may appear to be confined to the western U.S., especially California, but it is more widespread than this. New Age philosophies and theologies are also worldwide. Definitely read Constance's book to see how truly big it is. She wrote it over 20 years ago, and the Movement is now even larger than before. Read The Aquarian Conspiracy by Marilyn Ferguson. This is written from a New Agers perspective and is also over 20 years old. I recommend reading The Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow first. Then go into book stores, music stores, the Disney Channel and see how prevalent New Age themes are.

Matt, as far as Solana and New Age is concerned, there are two parts to the New Age movement, politics and spirituality, one world government and one world religion. Then when you start exploring the religion aspect, there is a wide range of activity with no borders.

If we start with the popular, we can see how New Age cultural change has affected the general religious community. There is a plethora of information here.

At the top of the pyramid, there are people who are involved in very complex thinking about the supernatural. Call it studying about mysticism. A lot of people want to understand why we are here on this earth and what is the background of all of it. They don't accept the Christian or Jewish view of things, or maybe they just don't accept the particular information they have about Christianity or Judaism. New Age thinking is part of their belief system.

It appears the Solana comes from a family background whose members are involved in exploring an alternate spirtual view of reality. How he would escape being influenced by this I don't know. One in particular has played a role in major governmental change.

What makes anyone think that only Christians and Jews are affecting cultural change? There are believers in other thought systems that are at work.

Jews are very small in number, and only a small percentage of these are actively supporting the moral views consistent with Judaism. Christianity as a spiritual power is going internationally downhill, except for Africa. Those who think along New Age lines are growing in number. The Deceiver does not have to impact fundamentalist Christians or Jews. He has to deceive those who have bought into New Age thinking.

It looks like Solana is now working to create behind the seens, more anti-USA views as he now takes a softer tone towards Iran, while we (The USA) wants to get tough:

I do believe a lot of people do not realize how the New Age system works. It's "they just do and the hell with you." An example of this is illustrated at eureferendum.blogspot.com today. The corupt Palestinian government is getting bailed out with EU money and nothing can be done.
Although the writers at the blog have no understanding of Solana and New Age, they do report on what is happening in Europe. Europe is ahead in New Age takeover. We are getting there.

Newt is a New Ager from his brain down to his tiny toes. Watch his mouth to see the New Age message. What is the message? The heck with Israel if he thinks the great good is involved. The UN has left millions to starve to death in Africa and yet we don't care. The cars still move and business goes on in America. According to New Age thinking, if small Israel goes down the tubes, so what. Israeli people tend to think for themselves, a bad thing according to New Age. The American cars will still move and business will go on. Very short sighted thinking, even if one is just thinking in materialistic terms.

The leadership of the Muslim community thinks the US is the great Satan. Does Newt think his smooth voice will calm down the rabid Muuslims? Probably. Can that happen. Probably not.

I am a US citizen living in Spain. You cannot operate here above the grid without an "ID" card. I used to be a skeptic about the EU and "the mark" because the concept seemed wrapped in too much apocryphal imagery. Now it is all too real. Especially when I consider that I have to show this ID for every transaction from buying a cellphone, opening a bank account, buying a DVD player, charging groceries - and if you do not have the ID card you are brushed away as a sort of misfit. At least in Spain, the ID card is used to abuse, not benefit, the bearer. The UK should beware in their pursuit of a national ID card system. Seriously - without an ID in Spain, you find yourself slinking around trying to live on "economic system B" and operate in the semi-legal gray world of cash. Heads up everyone...

My suggestion: If you read something here that excites you please comment so that others can go to the source. If you are posting a source, repeat it over and over again until it gets a response.

Readers here can be very discerning and the information you share is of value to others. I've been at this for over 25 years and keep learning.

If others haven't commented on your post, don't stop. People just read and read and sometimes don't bother to respond. This blog doesn't have a counter. Check at littlegreenfootballs.com. You will see that thousands of people read the blog, but only the same people respond.

    Hello Constance, et al...

I want to tell you how much I appreciate this blogsite and everyone's insight. I check in daily - and have been for quite some time because there are so few voices these days covering the topic of end times and the new age. I first became acquainted with your work, Constance, back in the early eighties when you were a guest of Noah Hutchings...one of my favorite radio commentators at that time.

I have only posted one other time as I have so little time to do any research of my own. I can speak from experience, however, having left a long term marriage to a temple card carrying Mormon and also having severed a long term relationship with a local church that has embraced the purpose driven model along with psychology and mysticism (contemplative prayer) while forsaking the Word of God.

One of my dear friends, who is on staff at this church, recently recommended a book that he was reading called: Everything Belongs-The Gift of Contemplative Prayer written by Richard Rohr, a catholic priest who embraces homosexuality and takes men on wild retreats where they are known to spontaneously disrobe and jump over bonfires. From an online article about Rohr and these male 'initiation' retreats it states: >>According to the shamans and poets, men initiate themselves in a secure circle of mature men through the power of NATURE. It’s NATURE that initiates. Rohr is connected to NATURE.<<

After researching this author on the internet, I discovered this information to pass along to my deceived friend, along with the following quotes from an article posted online:
Asked about his interest in Carl Jung - he replied...“I’m soaked in Jung…Jung talked about the archetypal “Christ figure” in all of us”.
In discussing his work in personality testing using the Enneagram the article states:

[Begin]>>The Enneagram predates Jung by 1500 hundred years, because it originates in the Desert Fathers analysis of the "capital sins" and then was refined for centuries in the Sufi schools of spiritual direction, finally reaching the West through the Jesuits and others.

“I would never have come to many of my insights if I was not relying upon a greater scholarship, or authority, or a greater tradition,” Rohr noted. “With the help of the Enneagram, I am learning how to piece together a greater connection with Spirit.”

Rohr referenced many ancient scholars who worked with this mystical system throughout the ages, particularly Evagrius Ponticus, Blessed Raymond Lull, and Gurjieff. It was a way of teaching wise people how to "read souls" and to be deeply transformed themselves.

I hope you have guessed by now that you don’t have to believe in Christ to “get” Rohr’s insights and increase your own spirituality.<< [End]

So shocking and so sad that this mans books are being read and promoted by christians.

I have also lived and worked the past 11 years in Boulder,CO where there is a very high concentration of eastern religion, shamanism, kabbalah, etc. etc. All of this is accepted in the new age philosophy, where we are all 'one' and all roads lead to god. We have a meditation center where people of all faiths participate as well as a very large Unity congregation where one member told me that 'we believe everything' and yet 'nothing' as we do not hold to any one doctrinal position. At these services, the bible is quoted, while at the same time shamanistic rituals are conducted.

There are labyrinths popping up everywhere - another activity that draws people of all faiths, including mainstream christians.

Having been intimately involved with Mormons - I can attest that they are evolving as well to accept all faiths as viable avenues to god, with their main focus being, like the new agers, self exaltation as you gain secret knowledge and progress on your own path to godhood. As Richard Rohr states in the previously quoted article: "My deepest me is God. Like St. Catherine of Genoa: she ran through the streets of Genoa, Italy saying ‘My deepest me is God! My deepest me is God!’"

These belief systems are all coming together to worship the creation over the creator and you can clearly see the thread that ties them all together under the banner of the 'new age'.

As far as Rick Warren goes, I pray that he will come to a knowledge of the truth and realize how off-base he is and how his entire program has put the focus on man's efforts instead of on God. My hunch though, is that he is a wolf in sheep's clothing who has sold out in order to gain his kingdom in this world.

What I don't see here is the Masonic connection discussed, which is, I believe the roots of all this as this is where Lucifer is worshiped as god already - any comments on this?

And I am also concerned that there is an inordinate amount of attention placed on Solana and what is happening politically...although important, and not enough attention being paid to the one world religious movement with masses of humanity being deceived and led right into the snare of the enemy.

Dorothy: I believe you are right with your last comment. I know there are a lot of people who comment on different topics here at this blog. I am one. I believe that being this close to the end that everything is relevant. Some topics go on with only a few comments, with some branching to different ideas that continue going on and on. Some of these have turned into direct witnessing events for Christ and many have participated. There are people who are directed to this blog now because of new age beliefs and general searches, but also learn of other things as well. I know Constance is a busy women and the other blogs that people could start would be a good idea. However, Constance has become a major player in the Christian blog world and many people visit here because of her. I noticed other people who participate here were invited to make postings for comment, but what are the chances of having multiple pages of topics going on at the same time while under Constance rules and overseeing. These people who were invited to make postings seem pretty worthy. This is just a thought and by no means to distract from what Constance set this blog up for. But I do think with a few more lines added on it, it will attract and expose more people to the message that Constance has. Nowadays new age ties to just about to every aspect of society and is only going to get worse. Another topic of huge interest here is Solana. The two are linked together but can also have seperate functions.
I have no idea how easy or hard any of this would be to achieve because I am not computer literate, nor do I know if there are expenses that are tied to it. However I would be willing to support with donations if there are costs. This is a valuable website to me.

"But 22 out of the 25 ministers were not allowed to see a "top secret" 21-page report which Tehran produced last week explaining its position – a document only seen by Mr Solana and the so-called EU-3 countries the UK, France and Germany.

"The EU-3 and Mr Solana handle the thorny Iranian nuclear file on behalf of the bloc's 25 member states, with Tehran requesting maximum confidentiality. "

Grace, it was wonderful that you sent the link, but if you see material as powerful as this, don't hesitate to specify it further. Many people want information in their hand and don't want to work at getting what is going on. I truly appreciate your ongoing sharing of information. Know that.

I agree with Dorothy. If you post and don't receive a response, keep posting. I find others' input very valuable. The amount of information is so vast and overwhelming that it is nearly impossible for one person to research all topics. I may not post comments to them, but believe me, your posts are valuable. I have encountered questions that I have been able to answer because of your research.

I also appreciate all the postings in one thread because it requires that I read a large number of important topics.

  104. The prophecies on "the beast" did not necessarily encompass a religiosity, per se, about him. Au contraire, many indicate that while he will esteem himself above all that is called god or worshipped, he will personally regard no god or anything that is worshipped as God. That might encompass a power seeking atheist who seeks recognition for "benefits" he confers on his domain(s)

THE DOCTRINE OF THE COMING ONE--Western Teaching
    THE DOCTRINE OF AVATARS--Eastern Teaching

Right down the ages, in many world cycles and in many countries (and today in all) great points of tension have occurred which have been characterised by a hopeful sense of expectancy. Some one is expected and His coming is anticipated. ...He has waited. But His hour has now come, because of the people's need in every land and because of the invocative cry of the masses everywhere and the advice of His disciples of all faiths and of all world religions. (more at the link)

    His hour has now come?????

I posted the previous comment from Lucis Trust before I saw that Herescope, linked at the first page, had a very long write-up on Bailey material and its connection to the new message of some of the churches.

Gene Veith writes in his book, Modern Fascism, (1993).

"Religion, however, seems to be changing. The mainline Christian denominations have been turning away from transcendence, Scripture and confessionalism, for a century. Joining the mainstream of European prefascist theology, these churches have constructed a spirituality based on immanence, cultural activism, and existentialism ....Religion may be the surest defense against fascism, but it may also be its entry point."

Individual morality is going the way of the wind. Instead the religious establishments are defining morality as that action which is good for the community whether here or abroad. What is good for the community takes its direction from the UN or the state. The Bailey plan all along. And those who object? Well, the message is don't. Evil is that which causes separation, and if the direction has been given to you by the community or the UN, do nothing to cause separation between people.

    Again from Veith:
"Religion becomes the pursuit of subjective experience, whether in manipulatively staged "worship experiences" or in pseudo-psychological small group encounters. The focus is not somuch on the transcendent God, but on the self. What gives this kind of experience its religious flavor is that the self becomes caught up into a larger personality--not God, but the community. The sense of alienation is overcome when the individual is absorbed into the group. This is, of course, exactly the point and appeal of fascism."

Think not only Islamofascism, but what we might be dragged into in the future.

(There also a good reminder of the political role of New Age through the World Future Society at the site.)

Lucis Trust type people might be staging such a second coming. They have been predicting such an individual coming to help humanity make the transition into the New Age in the past 100 years, always saying that he will come when all of the preparations have been made. There are over 38 pages in the index with over 3,700 references to The Christ in the Bailey books. It's a major tenet of the beliefs they push. It was startling to hear them say to their followers the hour is now. Lucis Trust is a very powerful international organization that is antisemitic, anti-Christian and occult. The books are sold in New Age bookstores as well as ordinary large chain bookstores that have a New Age section. If you are not aware of this organization,

Here is the link to the Lucis Trust index page that is the first of 38.

Here is a link to the Armageddon Script with Constance Cumbey's comments on the book at Amazon.
    http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0906540372?v=glance

Go the Lucis Trust and read the commentary around the quote.
    http://www.lucistrust.org/arcane/coming_one.shtml

If you go over to Herescope which is linked, you will see that some major Christians are saying that who God/Christ is must be interpreted differently. This ties in with the Lucis Trust Bailey writings.
