Yesterday, our Detroit Lions were approaching a cold weather Green Bay football game that they won. Of course, most Michiganders, myself included, were happy. I've been to Green Bay, spoken in Green Bay, and they were wonderful people when I was back there during the 80s. But home team is home team. I'm not so sure Rich of Medford (Wisconsin) was thrilled. He's probably a little distance from Green Bay -- but Wisconsin is his home.
That being said, I wasn't quite as thrilled pre-game by normal news coverage being bypassed for pre-game interviews and telecasts. WDIV, our NBC station, carried the game and its pre-events. I switched to ABC after the usual 6:30 national news did not play. Sometimes most of the news is so bad that I will turn off the TV and ask "Google Home" to play "nice classical music" for me. Such was the case yesterday. Consequently, I did not get normal "breaking news" notices on the bigger screen TV until 6:33 when I made the station change. I watched with my mouth open --- Brazil, just over 2 years to the day was experiencing its own insurrection -- former President Bolsonaro claiming he had won the election over DaSilva when he had not and his believing supporters looting and damaging critical governmental buildings.
Immediately, I dialed Rich of Medford (Richard Peterson) and screamed "this has Steve Bannon's fingerprints all over it!"
A few months ago, I read a critical book about Steve Bannon whom I once admired. The brilliant book by Benjamin Teitelbaum is WAR FOR ETERNITY, It was about Steve Bannon and, the Traditionalist cult of which he is a critical global leader and Donald Trump's role in it as "the chosen one."
That book was disturbingly revealing. Bannon and Trump have done a very good job of convincing many Christians they are our friends. However, in this book, I learned that Catholic-raised Bannon had Theosophical leanings. During his navy career he frequented occult book shops and in a remote eastern Asia port purchased one book that particularly influenced him in a favorable way -- THE SECRET DOCTRINE by none other than Helena Petrovna Blavatsky. That was the book Kennedy killer Sirhan Sirhan requested when first sent to his cell after his arrest for the 1968 Robert F, Kennedy assassination. Sirhan is Moslem. He did not request a Bible, he did not request a Koran -- he wanted the Blavatsky book. To give Madame Blavatsky her perspective, she named their initial Theosophical Society magazine "Lucifer."
There was an international circle of those combinging occult beliefs with a bastardized form of "traditionalism" where nationalist interests were to maintain their long standing traditions -- be they Hindu, Christian, Buddhist, Tao, or whatever! Putin's advisor Aleksandr Dugin, the mapper of his Ukraine strategy was part of the group. Bannon held secret meetings with Dugin in 2018, per Teitelbaum.
I recognized immediately what was happening. I had my computer off for most of the day. Immediately after I phoned Rich (Rich Peterson), I then googled and saw that many others had made identical observations. I do not know if they were familiar with Teitelbaum's book or not, but they did recognize Bannon and his tactics. Moreover, it was reported that Trump advisors Bannon and Miller had met with Bolsonaro psot-election and told him to deny election results!
Bannon was one of the principal purveyors of the election denial issue. He has continued to loudly and vocally repeat it plus predictions that they will prevail and take over. Their international circle included figures such as Bolsonaro of Brazil, Dugin of Russia, Viktor Orban of Hungary, Marine LePen of France. Their propaganda and think tank production site was an occult and "esoteric Nazism" publisher now located in Hugary named Arktos. Ironically, one of the founders was a New Age activist from Ann Arbor, Michigan, one John R. Morgan.
Bannon's boasts are very real. As I said in the comments section, Qanon is organized in 71 countries at one of the last counts. The New Age "radical middle" come together as global fascism and left wing Marxism merge. Too many Trump followers sre sympathetic to Putin (via Dugin part of the same circle) and buying the lies that the Ukraine is a Nazi country.
Furthermore, the events are certain to come back and be a justification for persecution of Christian believers who defend whatever Bannon and Trump espouse.
Events are disturbing. Let us pray for discernment, "lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil."

ReplyDeleteWith all the rain storms in California it appears our cab driver LA troll friend Richard has had more time to post Luciferian attacks on this website continuing from the last thread into this one. Mrs. Cumbey just happens to be reading more here yesterday and deleting some/most of his "illiterazations".
Interesting this happens as this thread calls out Bannon and his affiliations with Opus Dei (i.e.- ultra orthodox roman catholicism) for it's Theosophical ties to Blavatsky.
I wonder if this revelation will alter Mrs. Cumbey's relationship with Opus Dei mouthpiece and Steve Bannon's friend, Michael Voris. If her radio show comes to fruition Mr. Voris broadcasts the Church Militant out of Detroit so he'd make a great initial interview.
x
Remember...the goal of Opus Dei is to destabilize Protestant America and promote ecumenicism (under the Roman Catholic Church). Losing any control over South American countries, like 65% catholic Brazil, is unacceptable.

This video blows your suspicions to hell where they belong.
The Democrat party once had a peace platform. I was a Democrat in the 60s + 70s. That peace platform is largely dead now. It really disappeared when the Black Jesus became President. When Bush was President nearly every town of 4,000 residents or more here in New England had daily protests! IMPEACH BUSH, END THE WAR, BRING HOME THE TROOPS etc.etc. As soon as Obama became President, the peace protesters went home. Even though in reality during Obama's reign of perversion, more bombs were dropped, and more people were killed than during Bush's reign of terror! Goes to show that liberalism is a satanic religion, and Democrats get huge amounts of slack for their gross evil. Republicans are damned at all costs! Sounds like a perfect religion for you Constance! Too bad Democrats are such joyless souls! It's easy to understand why. Satan is a tough task master!

ReplyDeleteTo Jonah and others interested:
I located my personal hard copy edition of THY WILL BE DONE (Colby). One of my main concerns reading it was about William Cameron Townsend and the disturbing relationship between him and one of the main persecutors of Mexican Christians -- Catholic and Protestant -- Mexican President Lazaro Cardenas. Many do not know about the total war Mexico waged on Christianity, starting with Catholics, but extending to others. Critical books are MEXICAN MARTYRDOM, NO GOD NEXT DOOR, BLOOD DRENCHED ALTARS and THE LAWLESS ROADS (Graham Green). The movie FOR GREATER GLORY was about that era - 1926 through 1935 and even beyond in some Mexican provinces. I also found it disturbing that there was a JAARS museum dedicated to Cardenas in Waxhall, North Carolina. Also, SIL (Summer Institute of Linguistics) had a relationship of sorts with World Goodwill (Lucis Trust).
Constance
Constance
From the current Wikipedia article on William Cameron Townsend vis a vis my Mexican concerns:
ReplyDeleteThe winning faction of the Mexican Revolution created the Constitution of 1917, which extended the anticlerical measures of the liberal Constitution of 1857 restricting the Catholic Church in Mexico. Townsend and Legters, however, entered Mexico without missionary credentials. Having cut all formal organizational ties, including those to the Central American Mission, the two men used Sáenz's letter of invitation to cross the border and make their way to Mexico City.[4]: 62–65 This instance represents the first of what later critical authors[10] would view as 'deceits,' whereby the two men concealed their deeper goal behind a veil of government sanctity. In reality, the letter was the only basis they had to enter Mexico, and it had to be on a personal level, since SIL did not yet exist as an institution. There was no deceit, because Sáenz knew why Townsend wanted to come to Mexico. The goal of the anti-clerical 1917 Mexican constitution was to reduce the power of the Catholic Church in Mexico. By coming as lay people, without sacrificing or hiding their Christian beliefs, Townsend and Legters, in fact, acted in accordance with the law and its intent.[9]: 4
Constance
The Mexican events as well as the anti-clerical events in neighboring Costa Rica coincided with the worldwide Theosophical Society push to have Krishnamurti recognized as the new "Christ"/Maitreya for the world. A book you can read, if you can find it is by Sidney Field KRISHNAMURTI: THE RELUCTANT MESSIAH. That book pertained to the Krishnamurti/Maitreya movement principals in Costa Rica. Parallel events were going on in Mexico at that same time. They would start with the Catholics, but thereafter extend to other Christians and denominations. The persecution in Mexico was vast and unrelenting. They purported to make peace with the Catholics in 1929 and tell them they could come out and publicly worship again. This is the false version the Movie FOR GREATER GLORY told; however, 1929 was a come out and be identified move and then the persecution renewed with greater vigor. That William Cameron Townsend could have given aid and comfort to one of the principals was indefensible to me.
ReplyDeleteThat is also one of my concerns with the Bannon / Trump / Bolsonaro / Orban -- they will give excuses to shut down and persecute Christians. The New Agers are very much on the march again, as they were in 1981 when I discovered and started writing about the subject. We slowed them down for a time and a season, but they are back -- big time -- and looking for reasons to shut us down. That was the climate from 1926 to 1935 and it is the climate now!

ReplyDeleteI just took a cursory review of the article and will read it more thoroughly later. Thank you for letting us know about it. It appears from that article that Christians and other pro-Israel people are being blamed for those attacks on governmental structures, both here and Washington. What I suspect the author of that article may not know is Bannon's long time occult interests and that Bannon was pretty much the strategist for a network of ambitious "Traditionalists" (what they call themselves) and is politically motivated. Again, Benjamin Teitelbaum's book, WAR FOR ETERNITY, is required reading for those seeking to understand what is really happening in too many spots around the world.

Constance
Elon Musk and Russell Brand were both very Leftist for years. Suddenly they both became right wingers. Russell Brand speaks out against BlackRock. Elon Musk speaks out against ESGs.
ReplyDeletePossibly all that means is that they tell conservatives what we want to hear by critiquing who and what we know is bad. But then after gaining our trust, they will slip in the solution, which is the same as the problem. It's just that the solution will be presented to us with different advertising and marketing campaigns.
It doesn't mean that any given critique has to be rejected with the genetic fallacy. It just means there is a need for alertness and discernment.
Hopefully nobody here has blind trust in either Elon Musk or Russell Brand, and I doubt if they do.
I think sometimes we're just desperate to have allies who are powerful and influential.
BlackRock is one of the main pushers of the ESGs that Elon Musk (justly and rightly) criticizes. BlackRock owns a lot of shares in Musk's Tesla company.
What is going on, specifically? Who knows, exactly? But be alert about it. (I've been impressed by Elon Musk at times, myself. We're all capable of being manipulated at times. We are living through times of extreme manipulation.)

ReplyDeleteRe my 10:25 PM post, in case this was not made clear via my “new ager” disclaimer, my sole reason for posting the R. Brand vlog was to illustrate there may well be another way to view the Ukrainian situation. Criticism of Zelenskyy and/or the way the Rus/Ukr war is portrayed in BIG MEDIA is not tantamount to support for Putin.
What would we expect from such a staunch new age “awakening” proponent as R. Brand with regards to globalism? Of course he supports a more ‘fair’ and ‘new age’ world order in his opposition to the WEF/The Great Reset. But he does a great job exposing the GR and at questioning prevalent narratives.

J,
ReplyDeleteWith respect, I disagree with many of your premises; thus, I don't really wish to get into some sort of protracted back and forth re BlackRock. But, I must ask, did you watch Brand's vlog? Try at least the first 3 minutes or so.
I will say that I disagree with your characterization which begins your earlier comment: Elon Musk and Russell Brand were both very Leftist for years. Suddenly they both became right wingers. Right wingers? That's not at all how I view Brand and Musk. Speaking out against the GR and advocating for free speech while exposing the 'hidden' extreme bias on a social network platform are hardly solely 'right wing'.
I've never discounted working both sides against the middle. Brand's new age conception (barely a sketch) of a 'global governance' may be some sort of proposed synthesis of 'both sides'.
BlackRock is an opportunistic investment company in cahoots with globalists' interests.
ReplyDeleteOn an unrelated note: Has anyone heard from Susanna--the Susanna who used to post here? She and I used to correspond via email, but I haven't heard from her since around Easter of '22. I reached out recently, receiving no response.
I hope all is OK.
I hope she is doing well. I enjoyed Susanna's posts. I remember learning about Dugin and Traditionalism from her in the comments several years ago.
ReplyDeleteJ,
ReplyDeleteThe book Constance recommended re Steve Bannon primarily/initially discusses/exposes Bannon’s “Traditionalists” views.
Steve is quoted as a fan of Armenian Mystic George Gurdjieff (inventor of the enneagram).
The author disagreed but Steve thought Gurdjieff and his “The work” philosophies were Traditionalist based.
I should go back and find Susanna’s discussion about traditionalism. It’s certainly unbiblical. Only the priests (and warrior class by might) have value and souls….as long as they are white.
Being raised Roman Catholic leaves boys/men like Bannon susceptible to mysticism (as does any extra-biblical experiential religion or sect or cult)
Do note: Bannon is thrice divorced. Another lifelong unrepentant adulterer (like Elon Musk).
X
X 7:38 PM,
ReplyDeleteI didn't mean to imply that Susanna was commenting favorably about Dugin or Traditionalism. On the contrary. She was quite critical of Dugin.
She mentioned at the time that she thought Traditionalists sometimes glom onto the Catholic church as a cover.
It's been a while since we discussed it.
She was very intelligent and very widely read.
These days everybody can be susceptible to mysticism. It's rampant in the Protestant churches now, including the Evangelical and conservative denominations.
It can appear under so many guises.
Susanna was very discerning.
Anyway, I'm not going to talk anymore about somebody who's not here. I never meant to say a bad word about her.

Dictionary:
ReplyDeleteRINO = Anybody who calls a spade a spade and raises a necessary eyebrow against the biggest RINO of All, DONALD JOHN TRUMP who did much to chase good people out of the Republican Party who did not bow down and worship him.
Adam Kinzinger, Liz Cheney, Peter Meijer of Michigan, Fred Upton of Michigan -- and yes, Mitt Romney -- and others courageous enough to refuse to repeat Trump's lies about the election -- YES THEY WERE LIES -- download the January 6th Committee Report and ALL THE TRANSCRIPTS (which I have) and ALL THE EXHIBITS, which I have and study same. Trump knew he lost and did work to try to subvert the election results. I campaigned and voted for Trump twice. I believe God allowed him to be there in place of obvious bad choice Hillary Clinton, to allow the Supreme Court to be in place. But subsequent to January 6, it has become clear that Trump is encouraging Qanon, wearing their symbols, playing their music, making statements that he would issued Presidential pardons once re-elected to Capitol rioters -- encouraging Putin on his invasion of Ukraine (January 6) and encouraging MAGA supporters to do elsewhere -- God does not bless that!
As far as Adam Kinzinger (an unashamed Christian not afraid to speak the truth no matter what it cost him politically) getting a job with CNN -- I'm happy for him and I believe he will be an improvement to that network. Fox News has not been an exemplar of Profiles in Courage for the most part. Those who did speak courageously are long since out.
Constance
I find it abominable that so many professed Christians are so willing to report lies and deny what we all witnessed with our own eyes -- the invasion of the Capitol January 6, 2021, that has let the world know how vulnerable we are -- and one that encouraged similar acts in other countries, i.e. Brazil for openers.
ReplyDeleteConstance
I deeply admire Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger for their political courage the past two years. If I were to vote for a woman for President, Liz Cheney would be a good choice. Too bad the Republicans trashed her for being truthful. She will go down favorably in history for her stand. Nobody will know her successful challenger who will represent Wyoming without benefit of important House of Representatives seniority that gives the clout to secure benefits for their region.
ReplyDeleteConstance
Constance,
ReplyDeleteEveryone is entitled to their opinion, of course. And that means others here who may disagree with some of your opinions.
Given that you've read all the J6 documents, could you review the transcripts regarding Ray Epps, then do a search on this man and provide an opinion on what role he may have had in J5 and J6? And having done so, can you offer an opinion on why the J6 committee gave him not only a free pass, but an escape hatch in the form of essentially putting words in his mouth to exonerate him?
This Epps guy called protesters to go INTO the Capitol on more than one occasion and was right there when others breached the perimeter fence. And he was initially on the FBI list, only to be scrubbed shortly thereafter. And never charged. Something kinda smells fishy on this...
I should have included in the above Epps' explicit words in a tweet to his nephew (IIRC) regarding J6: "I also orchestrated it".
ReplyDeleteJ,
ReplyDeleteI didn't think you meant Susanna discussed Traditionalism favorably. I assumed it was negative considering its wildly unbiblical new age roots, practices, heroes and adherents.

ReplyDelete“I think the public should see what happened on that day,” McCarthy told reporters during a press conference Thursday. “I watched what Nancy Pelosi did, where she politicized it. … I think the American public should actually see what happened instead of a report that’s written for a political basis.”
Regarding the Russell Brand video. It is very rambling and mostly very general. Most of what Russell Brand rambles about pertains to the military industrial complex in America, in general. Very little pertains specifically to the war in Ukraine. Lots of criticism of the USA. No criticism of Russia and no criticism of the UK or the EU, either.
ReplyDeleteI wrote a research paper about the Iron Triangle when I was a freshman in college. I already knew about the military industrial complex. If I were to learn about it for the first time, I wouldn't want to learn about it from Russell Brand with his constant hyper gesticulating, with the whites frequently showing above the irises of his eyes, everything rambling and hyper in style at the same time ... it would be information overload.
Most of what Russell Brand said was true, but one thing was not. He said the Democratic party since the Clintons is the establishment party. It's true the Democratic party is an establishment party, but it happened before the Clintons. It's not true that the Republican party is not an establishment party.
What is true is that paleoconservatism has long been isolationist in America, and that isolationist tendency fed into the populist MAGA "America First" movement.
Russell Brand is not a right winger. I mis-labeled him. On the political spectrum he is somewhat close to a New Ager who became a Conspirituality influencer. X didn't coin the term. It fits some people. It fits Russell Brand in my opinion.
I've posted links to https://www.isgp-studies.com/ several times here over the years. I learned about the two main establishments in America at this site, including the Liberal CIA and the Conservative CIA.
I always filter out and ignore the racism that the author of the site sadly displays.
The BIG NEWS FLASH is that our military industrial complex makes money off war and this money could be spent on schools. Yes, this is true. I started reading in alternative liberal media sources in my twenties that the reason why they have nice things in Europe, and we can't have nice things in America, is that we spend so much money on the military industrial complex. It's not a new concept. One doesn't need to watch Russell Brand rant for sixteen minutes to learn it.
And it is still my opinion that Putin is evil, too.
If you don't want to have a protracted discussion, then don't. If I watch it, I'm going to comment about it. I get to do that.
P.S. I'm not endorsing X's use of the term "Conspirituality" as a pejorative for the commenters on this blog at various times.
ReplyDeleteConspirituality will likely not be a topic well met by half or more of commenters here. But a few may be interested if they've not yet researched it. Since this is a blog about discernment of New Age influence. Isn't it? Not a MAGA discussion board? Right?
I'm not familiar with all the content here and don't necessarily agree with all of it. But people who actually want to do research about New Age influence might like this site as a resource.
https://www.conspirituality.net/
I think my comment about Russell Brand's video was less than gracious. I think putting the Ukraine war into context of where it intersects America's military industrial complex is a valid discussion. If this is the discussion point, I just wish it had been simply stated.
ReplyDeleteI can't help but feel a strong vibe as if the assumption about Russell Brand's audience is that he is smart and his audience is dumb and his detractors are dumber. I think this is what set me off.
Certain cumulative actions can provoke the desired reaction. The predetermined desired reaction then provides the opportunity to realize the real goal—the exchange of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and socio-economic outcomes. The MIC and certain allayed members within and without the US govt gain, while the US taxpayer loses. A great transfer of wealth from one class to another results. The loser of this great transfer of wealth also loses socio-political power. All this increases the distance between the ‘haves’ and the ‘have nots’.
ReplyDeleteBut not to worry, a global solution will arise. It’s waiting in the wings.
I'm just asking questions, but does Russia have a military industrial complex, too?

I decided to do a search for "BlackRock and Russia." I recommend doing it and seeing the pattern that emerges from the available information.
ReplyDeleteThis is preliminary and hypothetical. But I expected to see that BlackRock is every bit as invested in Russia as it is anywhere else. I found that was true before the war in Ukraine. I was about to honestly share that information, but first I kept on looking.
Then I became even more interested in the larger pattern emerging from the searching and reading. BlackRock decided as soon as 2011 that there is a global trend of economic nationalism. COVID influence made BlackRock think this even more than it had before. Then after the war in Ukraine, BlackRock declared globalism is over.
I had not expected that finding whatsoever.
And it makes me think that Constance is right to focus on the economic nationalist New Agers.
People keep saying the economic nationaist New Agers are nothing in comparison to their enemies. BlackRock would apparently disagree with these constant critics of Constance. Links to follow this comment.

No one, be they journalists, or Presidents, etc.etc., are perfect.
Nor are there any fully just Nations on earth.
That being said, Russia has the moral high ground over the NATO Nations. I believe Russia will play the lead role in rendering the former U.S. uninhabitable.
Thanksgiving, Praise, Honor and Glory to the One True God of the Bible, who will bring about the fulfillment of all prophecies.
We were told Iraq had Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs). The alphabet agencies asserted this to be so. In the aftermath, at this moment, we can most definitely state:
ReplyDeleteNo WMDs were found.
This is an absolutely factual statement.
But here are related claims that are non sequiturs:
(A): There never were any WMDs.
(B): WMDs were there, but we just never found them.
A negative cannot be proven.
It’s possible there were WMDs, but, despite efforts, none were actually found. Where are they? Who knows! But it’s also possible there were no WMDs to begin with.
Statement (A) can be proven false should WMDs eventually be found. But (A) can never stand on its own absent any further revelation. And (B) can be proven true only if WMDs eventually are found. So (B) is false on its face unless and until WMDs are found at some point.
This reasoning can be applied to other assertions. Such as the 2020 (and 2016) US Presidential election. And other things.
"I believe Russia will play the lead role in rendering the former U.S. uninhabitable."
ReplyDeleteAnd I believe you are a Russian troll.
I need to clarify "But (A) can never stand on its own absent any further revelation." The only further revelation that would allow this statement to stand on its own is, say, if the alphabet agencies admitted to fabricating this claim in order to substantiate war. Yet even that does not render (A) absolutely true, because it's possible there were WMDs anyway. So, it's best to leave it at "But (A) can never stand on its own."
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Craig. But where are you going with this?

I made this context clear before posting the link. I made it clear I was looking for emerging patterns in the information and that I was willing to revise my ideas as I continually research and learn new information. I think I even stated it was "preliminary and hypothetical."

More on Ray Epps (not the athlete Ray Epps):
ReplyDeleteDuring an interview with the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, Ray Epps said he walked to the Capitol and told others to do the same.
Epps texted his nephew at 2:12 p.m. Jan. 6 and said, “I was in the front with a few others. I also orchestrated it.” But when questioned about it in testimony to the select committee, Epps said he wrote this out of pride and that it was the wrong word choice in retrospect. He did not confess to Congress that he orchestrated the attack.
Epps said when the scene became violent, he told people to remain peaceful. Epps did not go inside the Capitol, and he is not among more than 950 defendants charged with crimes related to Jan. 6.

Do you think, that even to some small degree, the holocaust happened because the Jews paid for Yeshua's death, and they have largely been 'Major League' Whoring ever since?
Craig,
ReplyDeleteWorst case, Epps was at one time an FBI Informant. There is zero evidence Epps acted conpiratorily on behalf of anyone on Jan 6th. Former FBI informants can and did get caught up in MAGA too.
There is video of him that show groups insurrectionists around him pointing him out as a potential FBI guy. He wasn't taken seriously by those around him and of the almost 1000 persons charged, not one can justify or rationalized their own behavior that day by saying "ray epps made me do it".
But here's the list of 978 charged with Jan 6th offenses at the Capitol Building....which ones did ray epps have contact with? How can you rationally try to pin the entire days events on one individual?
There are also Capitol Police officers who were suspended and/or fired (I think) for dereliction of duty (shameful failure to fulfill one's duty) on Jan 6th. Either they were scared for their lives or they were complicit...individually. Capital Police officers are not above succumbing to new age Maga blindness themselves. I was surprised as many stood bravely as they did. They are truly hereos. I also note that had the crowd been a crowd of blacks (or even Jews), such restraint and beyond orders complicity would never had occurred.
Ray Epps, like thousands of others, didn't engage in violence and didn't enter the Capitol Building. That is why he hasn't been arrested (and probably wont be) despite him talking a big game OUTSIDE the capitol building. I'd personally be fine with arresting him as all Maga's could probably use a stint in Jail to be deprogrammed but, alas, I'm not the king.
Just my opinion.

At least 978 people have been charged in the Capitol insurrection so far. This searchable table shows them all.

Saddam Hussein had WMD's. He used them horribly on the Kurds in Halabja, just one example. It as a massacre.
ReplyDeleteThe WMD's were shuttled to hide them by way of the mountains in Kurdistan then dropped down into Syria into waiting hands for safe keeping.
I personally met a young woman from Iraq (who sought and finally got political asylum in America for helping our forces - she was an interpreter) whose own mother was nearly killed by a bomb meant for her "Tara" (not her real name). Her mother was taken to Turkish Kurd community and received medical help that saved her life but she was maimed horribly and "Tara" could not see her because she was in hiding herself. She told the story of her family and community that had to run and hide in the mountains when she was a young child to try to get away from his army. The Kurds knew there were WMD's and knew of some of their own people who betrayed them (for money and protection) to help Saddam Hussein hide them. Iraq, like so much of the Middle East, is a mixed bag of long unresolved conflict.
Saddam very much wanted to amass WMD's, much weapondry intending to turn them on Israel, among others. BTW, the Kurd's are the very closest DNA-wise to the Jewish people.
Constance,
ReplyDeleteThanks for responding re Ray Epps. You didn’t respond to the more substantial part of my query, which I’ll readdress after first responding to your response:
1. He was committed to Trump and Trump's knowing lies about the election results.
2. He was far from THE LEADER -- Roger Stone, General Flynn, Steve Bannon and Trump himself were the influencers.
3. Those now claiming he may have been a federal agent are most likely to be in it -- perhaps Qanon and/or Cowardice and/or cultishness than Mr. Epps who apparently finally came to his senses.
4. I'm sure there were lots in that MASSIVE event who perceived themselves as "leaders"!
5. IMHO it was Trumps call to "fight like hell" and "go to the Capitol" that were the true precipitating events.
6. It was Trump who summoned the mob to Washington, DC for the "rally".
7. What say you about Ali Alexander?!
1. Not necessarily untrue as regards Epps; however, I’d like to know how you ‘know’ “Trump’s knowing lies…” (a) How can you possibly know what’s inside Trump’s head?; and (b) how can you be absolutely sure about the election results? Can one be absolutely certain about any election if one was not witnessing each and every aspect of said election?
2. No, Epps was not THE LEADER, but you must admit he was some sort of leader in his capacity there, for he called for going INTO THE CAPITOL on both J5 and J6 (“after [Trump] is done speaking, we go INTO the Capitol”).
3. I’m not sure what to make of your claim; but, as for me, given all the evidence, I suspect he was an informant and/or paid agent provocateur. He was on the ground inciting entrance into the Capitol building, yet stopped just shy of going in. When he said “We go INTO the Capitol”, one would naturally assume he himself would be included in the “we”. Yet he didn’t go in; he remained right outside the breached perimeter after whispering something in another guy’s ear. Hmmm…
4. I don’t disagree.
5. That could be. But, as far as I know, Trump never explicitly advocated for going INTO THE CAPITOL like Epps had. Had Trump said that, he would have been charged long ago.
6. OK.
7 I Don’t have any opinion, but that’s a red herring here in this discussion (as are your 2, 4, 5, 6).
Now to the other part of my query you did not address, let me direct you to this ZeroHedge article:
'I Also Orchestrated It': Uncharged J6 Witness Ray Epps Transcript Released

I hardly think that pointing to the possibility of the Ukrainian invasion as being the desired/intended outcome by another party would necessarily be tantamount to justifying the Russian invasion. You are, of course, entitled to your opinion.
But isn’t it possible to both denounce the invasion and also denounce any sort of precursor possibly designed to provoke such an invasion? And isn’t this sort of analogous to what you are stating re Trump and the goings-on of J6?
Nail on head, Craig.
ReplyDeleteThe overly simplistic broad brushes don't work on any level the way the whole world operates today especially. Too convoluted to be reduced to sound bites and knee jerks.
Thank you.
BlackRock in 2011, before Donald Trump, before MAGA and before Bannon's economic nationalism, was already in a CNN headline saying that they see a global trend of resource nationalism.
ReplyDeleteBut this headline didn't attempt to placate MAGA voters who didn't exist yet. This was in 2011.
This was well before the war in Ukraine.
My comments just before the links to BlackRock stories were much more than "prefacing disclaimers." They were my honest thought process.
Inductive reasoning has nothing to do with the Babylonian Talmud. Whoever said this to me uses no deductive logic and no inductive logic, either. Maybe he/she/it uses Chat GTP. He/she/it does not know how to reason deductively or inductively. He/she/it only knows how to attack - and poorly.
Anon 2:38 PM,
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. My hope is that others will pause, zoom out, before over-focusing on this or that. And that was my overarching point of my very first comment here--the R. Brand vlog.
(If one doesn't care for Brand's delivery, I get it. It's not for everyone. My suggestion is to simply go directly to his references in the vlog's description in order to read his sources in full context.)

ReplyDeleteInductive Logic
First published Mon Sep 6, 2004; substantive revision Mon Mar 19, 2018
An inductive logic is a logic of evidential support. In a deductive logic, the premises of a valid deductive argument logically entail the conclusion, where logical entailment means that every logically possible state of affairs that makes the premises true must make the conclusion true as well. Thus, the premises of a valid deductive argument provide total support for the conclusion. An inductive logic extends this idea to weaker arguments. In a good inductive argument, the truth of the premises provides some degree of support for the truth of the conclusion, where this degree-of-support might be measured via some numerical scale. By analogy with the notion of deductive entailment, the notion of inductive degree-of-support might mean something like this: among the logically possible states of affairs that make the premises true, the conclusion must be true in (at least) proportion r of them—where r is some numerical measure of the support strength.
If a logic of good inductive arguments is to be of any real value, the measure of support it articulates should be up to the task. Presumably, the logic should at least satisfy the following condition:
Criterion of Adequacy (CoA):
The logic should make it likely (as a matter of logic) that as evidence accumulates, the total body of true evidence claims will eventually come to indicate, via the logic’s measure of support, that false hypotheses are probably false and that true hypotheses are probably true.
Constance's books were written using inductive reasoning (compiling evidence of New Age teachings) - of course, in combination with Scriptural proof texts to contrast to New Age teachings.
ReplyDeleteIn blog comments, it's hard to share information because no standard of proof is ever too low for one subset of posts. While no standard of proof is ever too high for another subset.
I think it would be more reasonable to allow the comments to consist of an incremental and imperfect accumulation of evidence that could potentially support more than one foregone conclusion.
I think it's not only possible but desirable to entertain more than one possible explanation for the data and to keep on accumulating evidence both for and against each possible explanation.
I'm tired of hearing the goblin drums beating and the goblins singing each time I go off the beaten path in this comments section.
I don't mind Craig's way of disagreeing. I'm talking about a subset of Anonymous commenters - some of them possibly even consisting of bots.
Christians are frequently analogized as sheep in the Bible. The God Who created sheep knows what they are and what they do. They are not "sheeple." They did not live in pastures. Their grazing was not micro-managed by their shepherds. They get to wander a lot. The shepherd protects them from predators and gets them out of ditches and gets them home safely at night. Sheep get to go off the beaten paths.
ReplyDeleteI've written before about what sheep do. They graze on high mountain peaks where other animals can't. They change the ecosystem where they graze. They stick together in herds, yes, but loosely. They aren't always bunched up with no individuals wandering off. They aren't always led by a ram.
If you see mountain sheep, you will know that they are frequently seen alone, or the mothers are frequently seen alone with their young.
We live in an age of management and manipulation. There are too many controlling people in the world, including right here in this comments section.
Some of you need to let the sheep wander more. They don't have to stay in your pasture that you choose to stay inside of.
I posted a link to this article at 10:22 AM. To call BlackRock an opportunistic investor is quite an understatement.
ReplyDeleteBlackRock: The Secret Company that Owns the World
Why the American dream is dying in 2023
BlackRock, Fidelity, Vanguard and State Street are the four horsemen of the global economy. They own the world. They own you.
Anytime you act economically you are transacting with BlackRock.
This means:
They owns considerable shares in both Fox and CNN; they own the media and influence bipartisan information flow.
They own big pharma and are the third-largest shareholder in Pfizer
They own food, they own major shares in Pepsi and Coke
They own much of Google and Apple
BlackRock, along with Vanguard and the asset management company, State Street, own nearly 90% of all S&P 500 companies.
There is no escaping.
One of us! One of us!
In fact, BlackRock is so powerful that they are infamously considered the “fourth branch of government.” So let’s talk about how they’re controlling your life.
Why You Should Be Scared of BlackRock
ReplyDeleteFounded by Larry Fink in 1988, BlackRock is the most powerful Wall Street fund in the world with $9 trillion worth of assets under management. That’s larger than the GDP of every country around the globe, except China and the U.S.
If you were to make $1 every second, you would be worth as much as BlackRock in about 240,000 years.
This, however, isn’t why you should be scared of BlackRock. You should be scared because they are the lynchpin between Wall Street and Washington D.C.
During the 2008 housing crisis when the government bailed out “too big to fail” giants like Lehman Brothers, Citi Group, AIG, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac the Federal Reserve hired BlackRock to clean up their mess.
“Prior to the financial crisis I was not even familiar with the name. But in the years after the Lehman Brothers collapse [in 2008], BlackRock appeared everywhere. Everywhere!” — Even Heike Buchter, German financial correspondent covering Wall St. for over a decade
BlackRock is nonpartisan.
Dozens of BlackRock’s employees have held positions in the George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden administrations. They only care about money.
Even if BlackRock somehow became insolvent, rest assured the gov would gladly and immediately bail them out.
They are basically the Fed 2.0.
BlackRock Destroyed the American Dream
ReplyDeleteDo you remember when the housing market suddenly skyrocketed in price last year? That was BlackRock and its sister company Blackstone. BlackRock bought up thousands of tracts of residential housing paying 20–50% above asking price.
They destroyed the American dream for many middle-class Americans.
As a result, we now have one company with an outsized monopoly on the real estate available to the working and middle class.
As of 2023, at least three executives from BlackRock operate notable positions in President Joe Biden’s cabinet. BlackRock’s influence only grows like a malignant tumor.
According to William D. Cohan, author of the best-selling ‘House of Cards,’ BlackRock’s founder Larry Fink is “like the Wizard of Oz. The man behind the curtain.”
BlackRock’s Next Big Move
ReplyDeleteThis time last year BlackRock’s CEO Larry Fink announced that he will start punishing companies if they are not woke enough.
Seriously, he used the word “woke.”
Two days later Neil Young threatened to remove his music from Spotify because Joe Rogan spoke against vaccines. There’s only one problem, Young doesn’t own his music. Reprise Records owns it, and they are owned by Warner Media. Of course, they are all on board with removing it though.
Days pass and Joni Mitchell also comes out and says she’s removing her music if they don’t shut down the JRE Podcast. Who owns her music? Warner Media. Who owns Warner Media?
BlackRock. BlackRock owns everything.
In fact, how “woke” a company is has a term: Environmental, Social, Governance.
ESG refers to a set of rules determining how socially conscious a company is. Bloomberg expects global ESG assets to exceed $53 trillion by 2025. This would represent more than a third of the projected total assets under management.
ESG ratings aren’t put to a vote. You have no say. It’s an autocratic system with BlackRock and Vanguard at the helm. Tyranny is here. Crony capitalism is here.
What you can do about it
ReplyDeleteMost media coverage of BlackRock seems to get quietly de-prioritized and shuffled out of the mainstream view. It’s effectively deleted.
And as the famous science-fiction writer Aldous Huxley concluded, one-third of the population can easily be hypnotized, another one-third teeters between being hypnotized and not at all, and the last third can never be hypnotized.
In other words, we’re not too bright as a society.
We constantly focus on surface-level issues.
We believe the gender of Spider-Man is important politics and that the Super Bowl should be considered a national holiday. You, myself and the rest of my readers should pool our funds and start a bunker out in Nevada.
Nobody from BlackRock is getting an invite.
Meanwhile, politicians like Elizabeth Warren, Ted Cruz, and Gov. Ron Desantis down in Florida have called out BlackRock and rejected ESG in some form. We need to elect politicians who see the big picture—who see the forest through the trees. If corporations like BlackRock continue to have their way Wall Street and other elites won’t suffer, we will:
“This may sound trite, but it’s really important for me to be perceived as a good human being, a caring individual who always comes across as real and unpretentious. And one thing I tell everybody — you may not be able to print this — is that I’m the same turd I was 30 years ago, and I really am proud of that.” — Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock

More on Epps from the NBC website:
ReplyDeleteEpps' view of whether he could go into the building, he said, changed on Jan. 6. Body camera video shows Epps asking law enforcement officers how he can assist them, offering to help move rioters back from the police line and away from the steps. He turns toward members of the crowd and tries to get them to calm down. Another rioter, one of the first to breach the barricades, also told authorities that Epps told him to “relax“ and that police were just doing their job. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/-trump-protester-ray-epps-told-jan-6-committee-crazy-conspiracy-theori-rcna63615

More of my worst fears on Qanon, Pro-MAGA, Pro-Trump beliefs that Trump interests would be improved with Ukraine defeat were confirmed today.
ReplyDeleteToday, I was invited to present my information on Hidden Dangers to a neighborhood Bible Study group. One of those there, a well-off woman who volunteered to me two years ago that she was in Qanon and has consistently defended them and advanced their views every time I have seen her since, today was expressing opinions that Ukraine needed to go down. When I begged to differ with her, she said, "you know the Ukraine is a Nazi country." When I told her I believed that unlikely, particularly given that Zelenskyy is a Jewish survivor of Holocaust victims, she then said, "Zelenskyy is milking the Americans for money to fight his Ukraine war." Her news sources are admittedly Qanon. God help us should Trump ever get back in office -- he admires the dictators and clearly aspires to be one in complete control himself.

The Ray Epps led it all conspiracy theories are almost too ridiculous to respond to and you probably won't like any sources about it unless they are Fox News, Qanon, MAGA, Gateway Pundit, and/or RUMBLE generated. Here is something that might prove relevant for those who don't confine themselves to those sources. Again, it is from PolitiFact:
ReplyDeleteThere remains no evidence to support the conspiracy theory, promoted most prominently by Fox News host Tucker Carlson, that the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol was actually a false flag event orchestrated by the FBI to entrap Trump supporters.
Ray Epps, an Arizona man who Carlson and other figures have held up as a possible undercover FBI agent or informant, said he has no ties to the FBI in an interview with the House committee investigating the attack, the committee revealed.
Rally Runner, another man singled out on Carlson’s show, said on video that Carlson’s segment suggesting he was a federal agent was a “false story.”
The Justice Department hit Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes with sedition charges on Jan. 13. Until then, Rhodes was listed as “Person One” in charging documents, helping to fuel unsubstantiated claims from Carlson and others that the presence of such unnamed, unindicted co-conspirators in those documents was proof of an FBI false flag.

Constance,
ReplyDeleteWith all due respect, you are dodging the issue. Here is a short, concise, one minute video collage of Epps, including the point of him getting just to the perimeter fence just as it is breached. And, again, this is AFTER his repeated statements instructing to go INTO the Capitol:
https://rumble.com/vo7gkb-ray-epps-quick-clip-compilation.html
I see you haven't yet determined the possibility that PolitiFact just might not be 100% reliable.
Red herrings and straw men are everywhere...
ReplyDeleteConstance @ 6:39 PM,
ReplyDeleteRe your NBC article snippet, none of this is inconsistent with actions of an insider agent provocateur, are they? Such a person could fan the flames, then back off, claiming he’d ‘changed his mind’.
@ 6:52 PM,
And this is where you lose credibility: The Ray Epps led it all conspiracy theories are almost too ridiculous to respond to and you probably won't like any sources about it unless they are Fox News, Qanon, MAGA, Gateway Pundit, and/or RUMBLE generated.
Yeah, the genetic fallacy. The video collage I just posted provides enough evidence to cause pause to any reasonably discerning individual.
From the article posted: Ray Epps, an Arizona man who Carlson and other figures have held up as a possible undercover FBI agent or informant, said he has no ties to the FBI in an interview with the House committee investigating the attack, the committee revealed.
Well, that settles it, then, for sure.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know, absolutely NO ONE here in the comments sections claimed Epps "led it all".
I'm really disappointed. I thought you had a bit more objectivity.
Constance,
ReplyDeleteIn case you are unaware, clips like the short, concise one I reference @ 6:56 PM are routinely DELETED on YouTube. Censorship against material like this has been an ongoing thing for at least the past 7 years. So, Rumble is one alternative. There are others.
Craig,
ReplyDeleteSince you don't think Ray Epps led it all, what do you think is proved by your evidence you've shared regarding Ray Epps?
It would be helpful if you would state concisely what your point is that you're proving with the "what about Ray Epps" angle.
P.S. My reading of Constance was the exact opposite of yours, Craig. When she said that people probably wouldn't like her sources unless ... and listed a few ... I took it to mean that she anticipated the genetic fallacy being applied to her, by others, because of her using any sources not on that list.
ReplyDeleteAfter researching BlackRock further, I have revised my idea about BlackRock promoting economic nationalism. Instead, I found that BlackRock was several times in the media forecasting - while bemoaning - the hindrance resource nationalism posed to mining investments.
ReplyDeleteBut I continue to see indisputable evidence that BlackRock is playing both sides against the middle.
Sometimes the most basic ideas are the best ones, and they have often been hiding in plain sight all along.
I just found this. Independent journalist Stephen Horn, who was there at J6 recording the events, shared the followign:
ReplyDeletestephenhorn.locals.com/post/3282332/video-evidence-casts-doubt-on-ray-epps-claims-of-only-orchestrating-peace-loving-people
In his J6 committee testimony, Ray Epps tried to associate himself with the "peace-loving people" on January 6th as he played down a message he sent taking credit for "orchestration". However, the evidence shows he had a more direct role than even just encouraging people to get to and into the Capitol.
When the riot began at ~12:50 with an assault on the police at the Capitol Grounds perimeter, Epps was seen whispering in the ear of one of the violent rioters, Ryan Samsel. [ED: this is just before the barrier is breached]
Later on in the riot, Ray Epps was spotted helping push a large metal sign into the police line on the West Plaza. At least four others have been charged with felony assault with a dangerous weapon for this incident, but Epps remains uncharged.
Ray Epps has still managed to attract defenders in the mainstream media and on the January 6th committee despite playing a provocateur role at the Capitol Riot.
Here's the video of Epps helping push the metal sign:
stephenhorn.locals.com/post/2633801/another-j6er-charged-w-felony-for-pushing-sign-into-police-line-while-ray-epps-remains-free
So, others are charged, while Epps isn't. Curious.
In this clip on Twitter, look at how Raskin gets riled up, defensive when Massie asks him about Epps:
ReplyDeletetwitter.com/BasedSavannah/status/1609291569688977413
After a bunch of red herrings, he finally says:
Raskin: “…leave that guy [Epps] alone [pause]—whoever he is.”
Yeah, “whoever he is”. Coincidentally I’m sure, Epps is being represented by father and son John Blischak and Andrew Blischak. John was an FBI agent in Ohio for nine years before moving to Arizona and becoming a lawyer.
I think this is a fairly unbiased synopsis (overly-simplistic, though) of Epps:
ReplyDeleteWho is Ray Epps? The Capitol riot figure who disappeared from the FBI’s wanted list
The Federal Bureau of Investigation “can’t say” who Ray Epps is, and the Justice Department won’t share any information on why he was removed from a list of potential suspects in the US Capitol riot.
The two agencies’ responses to the curious case of their former person of interest, identified in photo No 16 in an FBI list of people whom the feds wanted to identify, provided more fodder for speculation after the select committee investigating the January 6 riot outright denied he was a federal agent or informant.
“Mr Epps informed us that he was not employed by, working with, or acting at the direction of any law enforcement agency on January 5th or 6th or at any other time, and that he has never been an informant for the FBI or any other law enforcement agency,” a select committee spokesperson said.
The statement came after the FBI and Justice Department leadership refused to confirm or deny, under oath, whether Mr Epps was working with federal authorities or whether they knew why he hasn’t been charged in connection to the violence.
Mr Epps has become the latest flashpoint in the battle for narrative control over writing and rewriting the cause and consequences of the 2021 riot at the US Capitol.
To the right, Mr Epps has been cast as a “fed-protected provocateur“ based mostly on his disappearance from the FBI’s most-wanted list without charge despite appearing in multiple videos on January 5 and 6.
To the left, he is a central figure in an attempt to reframe the attack as a false flag “Fedsurrection” that is little more than a conspiracy theory to shift blame away from Donald Trump and his supporters...
He was listed as the president of the Arizona Oath Keepers as recently as 2011, but it was unclear if he was still affiliated with the group at the time of the US Capitol riot.
Days after the 6 January riot, Mr Epps told The Arizona Republic he travelled to DC for the occasion but that he had been advised by an attorney not to speak about it.
The Republic reports that a live stream by social media personality “Baked Alaska” the night before the riot showed a man resembling Mr Epps saying he despises Black Lives Matter and Antifa, and that he has “stood them down myself”.
No evidence has ever emerged that Mr Epps entered the US Capitol building on 6 January, or that he was connected to federal law enforcement agencies leading up to the attack.
Claims that he is an undercover agent are based on speculation as to why he has not been charged in connection to the attack despite seemingly appearing on the FBI’s roster of people they wanted to interview.
Mr Epps’s image was included on the FBI Capitol Violence most wanted list, but it was removed around July last year.
While there is any number of reasons as to why he is no longer on the FBI’s list or hasn’t been charged, none have been given by either Mr Epps’s attorneys or the authorities...
The vacuum of corroborated facts about the person identified by the FBI in photograph “16” has been filled with speculation stemming from a video showing crowds chanting “Fed! Fed! Fed!” after Mr Epps said on 5 January, “Tomorrow, we need to go into the Capitol”.
On 6 January, a man appearing to be Mr Epps yells: “OK, folks, spread the word! As soon as the president is done speaking, we go to the Capitol. The Capitol is this direction.”
The theory entered the mainstream when Republican Thomas Massie questioned Attorney General Merrick Garland in October last year, showing the video compilation of Mr Epps purportedly rallying the crowds.
When The Daily Mail caught up with Mr Epps at his Arizona ranch, they asked if he was involved with the FBI.
“Get off my property,” he replied.

This is just a blog. It won't decide the fate of the whole narrative about January 6th. Constance has her own perspective on January 6th. It's her perspective. It's literally the title of her blog.
ReplyDeleteAnybody is free to disagree in the comments. Anybody is free to start their own blog.
The January 6th committee was not a legal proceeding. It was for the historical record.
The DOJ is handling the legal proceedings. The Proud Boy's leader's attorney two days ago was arguing that his client is being scapegoated and Donald Trump is actually to blame. Constance doesn't throw that or a million other talking points and news items in your face. I don't do it. X doesn't do it.
House Republicans are saying they are going to launch "Church style" investigations of the weaponization of the FBI. Constance's opinions on her blog are not going to stop them.
If you really are that worried about the FBI, then why not focus on whatever turns up with those investigations? If you're really that spun up about Ray Epps, why not contact your representative - if a Republican - and urge him or her to investigate Ray Epps during the "Church style" investigation?
Personally I have journalism education and training, I believe in "both-sides-ism," and I read both sides.
Because of reading both sides I'm aware that there is a wealth of evidence on the other side and so little evidence on Trump's side that the weakest talking points have to be repeated again and again and again while ignoring the wealth of evidence.
It doesn't convince me when what I know is just a little bit of evidence gets repeated again and again and again and I see the extreme bias of completely ignoring much greater evidence.
If more evidence comes out of the Republican house investigations, I'll be all ears. I'll be the first to stand up and say that it deserves acknowledgement.
Sometimes there's a feeling in the atmosphere of the blog comments section, as if people think Constance is just supposed to back down whenever they feel angry about information or opinions she writes about. It's really as if there is a feeling of entitlement to shut her up. And I wonder sometimes if the reason why, is because she is a conservative and Christian woman.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if conservative and Christian men feel entitled to control the narrative on Constance's own blog if and when they feel she is not appropriately toeing the party line.

What can you do when somebody looks at your evidence and considers it not so very strong?
That's the question I'm wondering lately. I'm wondering if stronger evidence will ever show up.
I suspect it will. I suspect God is taking turns judging BOTH SIDES for PREFERRING LIES. He is giving them over to their lies for a time until they get enough rope to hang themselves.
If you haven't figured it out yet, TRUMP is that rope around your neck. Will you figure out how to get him off?
Maybe some people secretly hope the Democrats will get rid of Trump for them so that they don't have to make their voters angry and they will be able run a candidate in 2024 who will appeal in the general election and not only the primary?
I wouldn't put such craven, deceptive cowardliness past some of Trump's sycophants in office or in right wing media or even in online alternative right wing media.
