TWO CREEPY CONCEPTS: "Accelerationism" and "Uberveillance"

As much as I have learned about the New Age Movement over the past nearly 40 years complained of by pro-Alice Bailey writer, Isobel Blackthorn, there is always more to learn.  What I have learned these past few days has given me great cause.  They are two dangerous concepts of "Accelerationism" and "Uberveillance."  The concepts are related.  They are also a vital part of the New Age Movement end goals -- taken to extremes.

"Accelerationism" started with academia and since 2013 has spread rapidly into both extreme left and right wing fringers.  When I discovered the New Age Movement's existence in 1981, there were many discussions in New Age circles of "Punctuated Equilibrium."

This was also a belief held by Hitler -- that his violence would accelerate a "new man."  Quoting from back cover of the 1974 MacMillan Press first American edition of THE OCCULT AND THE THIRD REICH (1971 Jean-Michele Angebert)

As Hitler himself said, thirty years ago, "he who has seen in National Socialism only a political movement, has seen nothing." The authors of The Occult and the Third Reich have analyzed this statement and find that "Nazism is only the most recent outcropping of a militant neoPnganism locked in a death struggle with its arch enemy, traditional Christianity, a struggle which will go on to the end of time." A member of the occult Thule Group, Hitler sought to justify his theory of the "supreme race" by acquiring the integral knowledge of good and evil. . . .
This knowledge, hidden in the past, contained the secret of the genesis of the world and, as Hitler believed, the justification for Nazi political theory.

"Accelerationism" and its accelerationist actors crosses the bridge of the "radical center" claimed by New Age theoreticians from far left to far right.  It embodies the chaos theories of the New Agers.  It's proponents boast about the profusio of New Age spiritualities enabling it.  It ranges from virulent anti-Semites again seeking the same "final solution" as Adolf Hitler.  It embodies the chaos theories claimed by New Age practitioners over the years needed to break through to "punctuated equilibrium."

F

As a recent VOX news article said about the Movement:

It’s called “accelerationism,” and it rests on the idea that Western governments are irreparably corrupt. As a result, the best thing white supremacists can do is accelerate their demise by sowing chaos and creating political tension. Accelerationist ideas have been cited in mass shooters’ manifestos — explicitly, in the case of the New Zealand killer — and are frequently referenced in white supremacist web forums and chat rooms.
Accelerationists reject any effort to seize political power through the ballot box, dismissing the alt-right’s attempts to engage in mass politics as pointless. If one votes, one should vote for the most extreme candidate, left or right, to intensify points of political and social conflict within Western societies. Their preferred tactic for heightening these contradictions, however, is not voting, but violence — attacking racial minorities and Jews as a way of bringing us closer to a race war, and using firearms to spark divisive fights over gun control. The ultimate goal is to collapse the government itself; they hope for a white-dominated future after that.
Accelerationism has bizarre roots in academia. But as strange as the racist movement’s intellectual history may be, experts believe it has played a significant and under-appreciated role in the current wave of extremist violence.
“It’s not an ideology that exists in a theoretical sense,” says Joanna Mendelson, a senior investigative researcher at the Anti-Defamation League. “It’s an ideology that has actually manifested in real-world violence.”

Accelerationists also find use in those "transformed" by New Age spiritualities,  A recent article found at the Nowhere.News website has an extensive discussion of that aspect of the Accelerationism Movement.

The Accelerationists are often long on memos.  Norway's Bredvik killer, New Zealand's Mosque shooter left long memorandums of why they were committing their violence to help bring in the "new man" and the "new society."  Here is a lengthy online memorandum of what Accelerationists believe.
That will give you a great deal to swallow and digest.

Next, UBERVEILLANCE:

Pictured above is the Uberveillance logo designed in 2010 to illustrate that movement.  Uberveillance was a term said to be coined by MG Michael in 2006.  Uberveillance includes human microchip implants and that will be the topic of my next blog post.

Thank you for your patience!  I turn 19 on Saturday.  I'm a Leap Year Baby and get one birthday every four years whether I need it or not!

Stay tuned!

  1. So, accelerationism is anti-capitalistic, and anti-West, yet somehow the following, from the Vox article, is congruent with this ideology?:

The disruptive US election campaign and manic presidency of Donald Trump, and his ultra-capitalist, anti-government policies, have been seen by an increasing number of observers – some alarmed, some delighted – as the first mainstream manifestation of an accelerationist politics.

A true capitalist is for small government. This defines Trump. How in the world is THAT “accelerationism” as defined by the bulk of that article? It’s like so much of recent new age-ish philosophical thought: it is rife with cognitive dissonance.

But this gets much closer to the genesis of the idea—again from the Vox article:

“In Silicon Valley,” says Fred Turner, a leading historian of America’s digital industries, “accelerationism is part of a whole movement which is saying, we don’t need [conventional] politics any more, we can get rid of ‘left’ and ‘right’, if we just get technology right. Accelerationism also fits with how electronic devices are marketed – the promise that, finally, they will help us leave the material world, all the mess of the physical, far behind.”

It’s old fashioned Gnosticism, which is the root of New Age ideology. Find the ‘gnosis’, the ‘secret knowledge’, which is the vehicle by which to expand your consciousness/manifest your inherent divinity—your “self”—and concurrently lose your evil, material “not-self”. This is, then, the same thing on the back of THE OCCULT AND THE THIRD REICH:

Hitler sought to justify his theory of the "supreme race" by acquiring the integral knowledge of good and evil. . . .
This knowledge, hidden in the past, contained the secret of the genesis of the world
and, as Hitler believed, the justification for Nazi political theory.

  2. From the final hyperlinked article New Age Spirituality: A Vehicle for Globalist Accelerationism:

…As we know, the capitalists would like nothing more than a single government that has the ability to oversee the entire globe, a desire that certainly fits in with the utopian dreams of your average liberal idealist, and if this can be achieved by mobilising millions of unsuspecting Thunberg adepts who somehow believe they are saving the planet then all the better…

The New Agers/globalists have successfully duped the younger generations into believing that Capitalism is inherently evil. No; it’s crony capitalism that is the problem, and it’s this same crony capitalism that will be the nexus of the forthcoming New Age oligarchy/aristocracy in the one world government.

Capitalism is the best system for the average person. It’s based on meritocracy—the person who works harder and smarter will reap the benefits. And this person can then employ others. It’s a win-win. But, like all systems, Capitalism needs some restraints, such as anti-trust enforcement so that large corporations don’t become too powerful and then take advantage of others. And here is where it is failing—because of crony capitalists profiting (like the Bidens and Burisma, e.g.).

On The Jews And Their Lies

"On the Jews and Their Lies" is a 65,000-word anti-Judaic treatise written in 1543 by the German Reformation leader Martin Luther (1483-1546).

Luther's attitude toward the Jews took different forms during his lifetime. In his earlier period, until 1537 or not much earlier, he wanted to convert Jews to Lutheranism...but failed.

In his LATER period when he wrote this particular treatise, he DENOUNCED them and URGED their PERSECUTION.[1]

In the treatise, he argues that Jewish synagogues and schools be SET ON FIRE, their prayer books DESTROYED, rabbis FORBIDDEN to preach, homes BURNED, and property and money CONFISCATED. They should be shown NO mercy or kindness,[2] afforded NO legal protection,[3] and "these poisonous envenomed worms" should be drafted into FORCED LABOR or EXPELLED FOR ALL TIME.[4] He also seems to advocate their MURDER, writing "[W]e are at fault in NOT slaying them".[5]

The book may have had an impact on creating antisemitic Germanic thought through the Middle Ages.[6] During World War II, copies of the book were held up by NAZIS at rallies, and the prevailing scholarly CONSENSUS is that it had a SIGNIFICANT impact on the HOLOCAUST.[7]
    ...
In the treatise, Martin Luther describes Jews (in the sense of followers of Judaism) as a "base, whoring people, that is, no people of God, and their boast of lineage, circumcision, and law must be accounted as filth".[9] Luther wrote that they are "full of the devil's feces ... which they wallow in like swine",[10] and the synagogue is an "incorrigible whore and an evil slut".[11]
    ...
The prevailing scholarly view since the Second World War is that the treatise exercised a major and persistent influence on Germany's attitude toward its Jewish citizens in the centuries between the Reformation and the Holocaust.[6][31][32] Four hundred years after it was written, the Nazis displayed 'On the Jews and Their Lies' during Nuremberg rallies, and the city of Nuremberg presented a first edition to Julius Streicher, editor of the Nazi newspaper Der Stürmer, the newspaper describing it, on Streicher's first encounter with the treatise in 1937, as the most radically antisemitic tract EVER published.[7]

Hitler hoped to reshape German Christianity.

The Lutheran Church was the dominant Protestant church in Germany in the 1930s, and was an important part of German culture and history. Like all other national organizations and symbols, the Nazi Party aimed to integrate German Christianity within the Third Reich. The rise of the Nazi Party and its cooptation of the church split the Lutheran community in two.

  7. In The Bubble: Trump's Presidency Reveals 7 Undeniable Facts About The Swamp
    zerohedge.com/political/bubble-trumps-presidency-reveals-7-undeniable-facts-about-swamp

When all elected politicians represent bipartisan constituencies to varying degrees, then why are the Democrats always unified while a percentage of Republicans consistently strive to reach across the political aisle? Why? Perhaps because only some U.S. Republicans and ALL U.S. Democrats solely serve The Swamp. And, although the myth of moderates in The Swamp continues inside the bubble, the truth is that there are none.

Consider the recent impeachment trial of President Trump: The Senate Democrats, and Republican Mitt Romney, fully understand the high crimes of the Obama administration in Ukraine that were projected onto President Trump. They cannot deny the FISA abuse as outlined within Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report, the fact that House Manager Adam Schiff’s office colluded with the “whistleblower” and then submitted weakly contrived articles of impeachment after a third-world sham process in the U.S. House.

Yet every single Democrat senator voted to overturn the presidency of Donald J. Trump. In so doing, they demonstrated their willingness to disenfranchise over 60 million American voters via illicit articles advanced by a kangaroo court.

I recently wrote and posted a new article titled "Who is America's God?" The article is located at http://www.towahkon.org/AmericasGod.html. Its footnotes read:

The United Nations and the Roman Catholic Church are working together to solve the current global ecological crisis, by actively engaging in dialogue with Indigenous Peoples and the people of Eastern religions, who both have a religious belief in Mother Earth and a related ecological spirituality-that the UN and Catholic Church believe could save the Earth's endangered life supporting ecosystem. And do so, if the Church were to come to believe in the existence of Mother Earth (meaning the Earth, Sky and entire Universe), who is another God-in respect to its manifestation as light and divine consciousness - a Hindu belief, which would enable the Church to have a God immanent relationship with Mother Earth, along with its God Most High relationship with the transcendent Father-who is above and beyond the creation, and immanently in all of creation.

More on the emerging polytheistic theology of the Roman Catholic Church:

Bishop Athanasius Schneider is a leading critic of Pope Francis and the direction that the October 2019 Amazon Synod and its follow-up papal documents are taking the Church. In an analysis of Pope Francis' apostolic exhortation Querida Amazonia, an exhortation on the Amazon Synod, Schneider identifies its “implicit endorsement of a pantheistic and pagan spirituality,” its assertion that Christians may “take up an indigenous symbol [a statue of Pachamama (Mother Earth/God)] in some way, without necessarily considering it as idolatry” (n. 79),..." Meaning, Christians can now believe in, and worship, God the Father and Mother Earth/God-not the material universe, but its manifestation as light and divine consciousness - a Hindu belief, without committing idolatry.

Bishop Schneider also expressed his belief that "Querida Amazonia’s designation of the Blessed Virgin Mary as the 'mother of all creatures' (n. 111) as highly problematic theologically." And that: "The Blessed and Immaculate Mother of God is not the mother of all creatures, ..." And that: "One finds the idea and expression 'mother of the creation or creatures' in pagan religions, for instance, in the Pachamama-cult and in the New Age movement." He further states: "The Vedic hymns speak of the 'Aditi,' the primal goddess of the Hindu pantheon, as the 'mother of all creatures.'"

Aditi is the female Brahma, or the Universe as Mother Earth, who in Hinduism has a divine manifestation, wherein it appears (to the enlightened) as it actually is, an essentially undifferentiated mass of light permeated with divine consciousness, and (to the unenlightened) it appears as the less-than-divine illusionary material universe.

The Blessed Virgin Mary syncretized with Pachamama is the less-than-divine material manifestation of the universe-including its soul. And she is the 'mother of all creatures,' or the mother of the material creation. The divine manifestation of Mother Earth is worthy of worship. She is the divine emanation of the unqualified Absolute, the transcendent Father beyond creation. If Christians were to hold up a combined indigenous and Hindu symbol, such as a statue of Pachamama-Aditi, a statue that represented the divine manifestation of the universe, it would not be idolatry.

Bishop Schneider also wrote: Anyone who has dealt with the global environmental movement has undoubtedly heard the term Gaia. Gaia is a revival of paganism that rejects Christianity, views Christianity as its greatest enemy, and sees the Christian faith as the only obstacle to a global religion that focuses on the worship of Gaia and the unification of all forms of life concentrated around the goddess “Mother Earth" or the “Pachamama”. A sophisticated mix of science, paganism, Eastern mysticism and feminism has made this pagan cult a growing threat to the Christian church. The worship of "Mother Earth", or "Gaia" or "Pachamama" is the focus of today's global environmental policy.

  11. Right wing accelerationism is related to the concept of "dark enlightenment".
Dark enlightenment seems to be a reaction against disillusionment with the Enlightenment. I see these types of endless reactions, against reactions, against reactions, against reactions as what happens when people are ever learning and never coming to the truth. I used to be one of those people, although my own word salads had very different flavors -- and at least I went to (and had to go to) work and learned how to be practical and focus on accomplishing things by working with and serving other people -- instead of getting paid to generate word salads and teach others to generate word salads for the rest of my life. Thank God I wasn't rich, and I didn't have rich parents, or I would have been a fool for life. What a big joke, all that blah blah blah. What is sad is that the people who this stuff appeals to are the very people who like to think big and have visions and go beyond animal survival and pleasure. They know something is wrong, and it bothers them. They want things to be better. They want people to be better. They want the world to be better. They want injustices to end one way or another. These people need true religion. If they had it, they would not be lukewarm Christians or cultural Christians. They would study Scripture and evangelize. Let's pray some of them will convert and will turn and denounce all the nonsense they used to preach. Never forget the Apostle Paul used to be a Pharisee.

It would most certainly be idolatry. Any statue that is revered is idolatry. It only says that in the Bible about a hundred times.

    Summary of the Accelerationist Manifesto
    July 18, 2015

A while back we found the Accelerationist Manifesto, which describes a new kind leftist politics about embracing the future and technology. We really liked a lot of the ideas, but we found the writing a bit inaccessible outside the academic "theory" world it comes from. We made this summary as part of a discussion salon we held at the SF Embassy Network, and we hope it opens up the manifesto's ideas to a broader audience. It is by no means complete, but we think it accurately represents the text.
    Outline

Core Ideas of Accelerationism - This is our compact synthesis of the manifesto - by no means exhaustive, but will provide a working basis for discussion.

Summary - We go point-by-point over each section of the manifesto including section and line numbers for easy reference.

Reactions - We've included a selection of reactions to Accelerationism in general with links.

    Core Ideas of Accelerationism

    Definition:

Modern accelerationism is a political philosophy that believes we need to increase the rate of technological and social development in the constraints of the current system in order to create the next social paradigm.
    Core Ideas:

The current system has hit a wall

    - Its institutions are incapable of facing urgent humanitarian and economic dangers, and are unable to reform themselves to bring about true change.

    - It’s holding back sociological / technological progress in many areas.

    - Corporate powers have captured the state and created a monopoly of thought.

    - Capitalist speed and advancement is narrowly constrained and misses an entire universe of possibility.

The Radical Left has become ineffective and must embrace modernity or die

“Folk Activist” tactics of the Radical Left have focused on protests, sign holding, direct action, etc., but those in power have adapted to these tactics.

New tactics are needed: the Left must become comfortable with modern forms of organization, funding, technology, etc.

This means that, beyond “people power”, we must also find funding sources and powerful institutional allies.

Democracy should be focused on outcomes

We must move beyond a democracy of means, towards one focused on ends - people empowered to live and fulfill their goals.

A more advanced system is needed to unleash our full potential

    - The system is holding back many forms of progress: research, societal reform, technology, etc.

    - A new system must be able to more fully enable us to unleash our individual and collective potential.

We must embrace a plurality of organizations and tactics

    - We must embrace collaboration between groups and accept others’ tactics and ideas even if we don’t fully agree with them.

    Manifesto Goals:

    - Build “intellectual infrastructure” to build a new fully-formed ideology

    - Reform media to bring it in more alignment to accelerationist goals

    - Bring together disparate groups

    - "We need to reconstitute various forms of class power"

    Summary

Thesis: “Accelerationism pushes towards a future that is more modern, an alternative modernity that neoliberalism is inherently unable to generate.”
Section 1 Introduction: On the Conjecture

1.1 Society now faces dangers that are relatively unaffected by traditional stabilizing bureaucracies and politics.

1.2 The greatest threat is climate change, and others include resource depletion, unemployment, and automation. These are pointed to as “evidence of the secular crisis of capitalism, soon to render it incapable of maintaining current standards of living for even the former middle classes of the global north.”

1.3 “While crisis gathers force and speed, politics withers and retreats. In this paralysis of the political imaginary, the future has been cancelled.” Our current political systems aren’t able to generate the ideas and organizational structures needed for transformation.

1.4 In response to this, neoliberals keep wanting more of the same, but this hasn’t yield substantively different results.

1.5 Right wing and corporate powers have been able to progress with neoliberalism “at least in part a result of the continued paralysis and ineffectual nature of much what remains of the left.”

“But with no systematic approach to building a new economy, or the structural solidarity to push such changes through, for now labour remains relatively impotent. The new social movements which emerged since the end of the Cold War, experiencing a resurgence in the years after 2008, have been similarly unable to devise a new political ideological vision. Instead they expend considerable energy on internal direct-emocratic process and affective self-alorisation over strategic efficacy, and frequently propound a variant of neo-rimitivist localism, as if to oppose the abstract violence of globalised capital with the flimsy and ephemeral “authenticity” of communal immediacy.”

1.6 “In the absence of a radically new social, political, organisational, and economic vision the hegemonic powers of the right will continue to be able to push forward their narrow-minded imaginary… to generate a new left global hegemony entails a recovery of lost possible futures, and indeed the recovery of the future as such.”

    Section 2 Interegnum: On Accelerationisms

2.1 More than any other system capitalism is associated with ideas of acceleration - demanding economic growth and “setting free ever-accelerating technological and social innovations.”

2.2 Capitalist speed and advancement is narrowly constrained and misses an entire universe of possibility. An essential component of acceleration is that it must be navigational, not just ‘fast’ - “ an experimental process of discovery within a universal space of possibility.”

2.3 Capitalism just commodifies everything and replaces it with a rigid structure of its own, with only the remnants of the old.

2.4 Neoliberalism likes to think it’s synonymous with modernization, however the fruits of its project haven’t brought us better societies with more creativity and quality of life - only further crises and exploitation.

“as neoliberalism has progressed, rather than enabling individual creativity, it has tended towards eliminating cognitive inventiveness in favour of an affective production line of scripted interactions.”

2.5 Marx didn’t want us to be primitivists, he actually embraced modernity and wanted to make a newer/better form of it. He believed capitalism was the most advanced economic system at the time, but thought we needed to accelerate beyond it.

2.6 “Socialism is inconceivable without large-scale capitalist engineering based on the latest discoveries of modern science. It is inconceivable without planned state organisation which keeps tens of millions of people to the strictest observance of a unified standard in production and distribution.

We Marxists have always spoken of this, and it is not worth while wasting two seconds talking to people who do not understand even this (anarchists and a good half of the Left Socialist– Revolutionaries).” - Lenin “Left Wing Childishness”, 1918

2.7 “If the political left is to have a future it must be one in which it maximally embraces this suppressed accelerationist tendency.”

Section 3 Manifest: On the Future

3.1 “We believe the most important division in today’s left is between those that hold to a folk politics of localism, direct action, and relentless horizontalism, and those that outline what must become called an accelerationist politics at ease with a modernity of abstraction, complexity, globality, and technology. ...an accelerationist politics seeks to preserve the gains of late capitalism while going further than its value system, governance structures, and mass pathologies will allow.”

3.2 We thought we’d work less in the future, but instead work has invaded the rest of our lives.

3.3 Capitalism has overly focused technology on narrow ends - “gadgets and relentless iterations” - and leaves out many areas of truly revolutionary technological and human advancement.

3.4 We cannot and should not return to the previous “golden era” of Fordism (like 1950/60s America) because that system was socially repressive and required the exploitation of much of the rest of the world.

3.5 “Accelerationists want to unleash latent productive forces... The existing infrastructure is not a capitalist stage to be smashed, but a springboard to launch towards post-capitalism.”

3.6 The true potential of science and technology remains untapped.

3.7 Technological acceleration is needed but not enough. Social and political action is also necessary - and the two reinforce each other.

3.8 We have to plan a post-capitalist economics because it’s not going to happen on it’s own. The think so is naive and ignorant.

3.9 In order to make this new system, the “accelerationist left” must become fluent in the modern technological tools of planning.

3.10 “Any transformation of society must involve economic and social experimentation.”

3.11 “Platforms are the infrastructure of global society...these material platforms of production, finance, logistics, and consumption can and will be reprogrammed and reformatted towards post-apitalist ends.”

3.12 We need new and evolving political methods to be effective because the old methods become obsolete : “The habitual tactics of marching, holding signs, and establishing temporary autonomous zones risk becoming comforting substitutes for effective success. ‘At least we have done something’ is the rallying cry of those who privilege self-steem rather than effective action.” “It is in part the contemporary left’s inability to do so which lies close to the heart of the contemporary malaise.”

3.13 “The overwhelming privileging of democracy-s-rocess needs to be left behind. The fetishisation of openness, horizontality, and inclusion of much of today’s ‘radical’ left set the stage for ineffectiveness. Secrecy, verticality, and exclusion all have their place as well in effective political action (though not, of course, an exclusive one).”

    Continued...

  20. Anonymous7:50 AM

3.14 “Democracy cannot be defined simply by its means — not via voting, discussion, or general assemblies. Real democracy must be defined by its goal — collective self-astery. This is a project which must align politics with the legacy of the Enlightenment, to the extent that it is only through harnessing our ability to understand ourselves and our world better (our social, technical, economic, psychological world) that we can come to rule ourselves.“

3.15 “What is needed ... is an ecology of organizations, a pluralism of forces, resonating and feeding back on their comparative strengths.”

    3.16 Three concrete goals:

“First, we need to build an intellectual infrastructure … tasked with creating a new ideology, economic and social models, and a vision of the good to replace and surpass the emaciated ideals that rule our world today.”

3.17 Second, “We need to construct wide-cale media reform … bringing these bodies as close as possible to popular control is crucial to undoing the current presentation of the state of things.”

3.18 Third, we must bring together and build solidarity amongst disparate groups.

3.19 People are already working on these things in isolation, but we have to work together to be effective.

3.20 Beyond street protests, “the accelerationist left must think more seriously about the flows of resources and money required to build an effective new political infrastructure ... to begin reconstructing an ecology of effective accelerationist left organizations.”

3.21 Let’s not be naive to think that these complex systems can be reduced to simple models, but let’s also not go so far to think that solutions are not possible. We do have enough agency to solve our problems by experimenting our way to better solutions.

3.22 Our technological development is being suppressed by capitalism, as much as it has been unleashed. Accelerationism is the basic belief that these capacities can and should be let loose by moving beyond the limitations imposed by capitalist society.

3.23 “The choice facing us is severe: either a globalised post-apitalism or a slow fragmentation towards primitivism, perpetual crisis, and planetary ecological collapse.”

3.24 “The future needs to be constructed…what accelerationism pushes towards is a future that is more modern — an alternative modernity that neoliberalism is inherently unable to generate. The future must be cracked open once again, unfastening our horizons towards the universal possibilities of the Outside.”

That was a little bit chilling from the manifesto above:

These people are frustrated their experiments didn't go as planned, and rather than blame their ideas and worldviews, they think if they can completely get rid of democracy, they'll have more control over the outcome in the future and then they will finally achieve the type of Marxist dream John Lennon sang about. But they will get Lenin's nightmare and not Lennon's dream and still not learn.

Here is something that came to light recently about an elder in the United Church of God. United Church of God is a splinter group from Herbert Armstrong's Worldwide Church of God. ucg.org is the web site for it. This is the same root web site from which many booklets and pamphlets are linked, by a commenter in this blog, in the comments section, repeatedly.

    https://armstrongismlibrary.blogspot.com/2019/04/united-church-of-god-elder-stephen.html

United Church of God Elder Stephen Allwine: “For reasons that are too personal and would give away my identity, I need this bitch dead.”

"The day after Stephen bought the bitcoin, he uploaded a photo of Amy to Allwine.net. The picture had been taken on a family vacation to Hawaii, and it showed Amy wearing a teal shirt, with a broad smile on her tan and freckled face. About 25 minutes after he posted the image, Stephen logged in to his dogdaygod email account and sent Yura the link. “She is about 5'6", she looks about 200lbs,” he wrote. The best time to kill her, he continued, would be on an upcoming trip to Moline, Illinois. If the hit man could make her death look like an accident—by, say, ramming her Toyota Sienna minivan on the driver's side—he would throw in a few more bitcoin."

    Somebody commented about it:

This is less surprising than it may at first seem.

"Forty-five years after the failure of HWA's prophesied dates, and long after many other core WCG doctrines have been disproved, one can only function as an ACOG elder if one has some degree of split personality, or let's call it a couple of radically different faces for different circumstances. Only the rarest few current Armstrongites are the same person in church on Saturday as they are when alone on Sunday or at work on Monday.

Combining this with the ACOG doctrine that if you are a horrible person in this life you simply aren't called and will have your chance later, it becomes easy for the afflicted/conflicted to develop an evil or sociopathic face that is never shown to anyone else. Fortunately, only a very few will act out such evil as Allwine did, but his basic personality defect may be far more common than many realize."

The West has, tragically, lost its self-confidence and is committing cultural suicide, and accelerationism is best seen in that context. But there is a certain amount of nonsense in the references that Constance cites.

I never thought well of Angebert's book on Hitler and the occult. Hitler had no time for Himmler's mystical meanderings, and he once said that it was a pity Charles Martel won the Battle of Tours in 732AD and pushed the Muslims back across the Pyrenees into Spain, because Islam was martial religion and better suited to the German martial spirit. A man who believes you can choose your religion for pragmatic reasons rather than out of conviction really is secular.

Chaos theory is part of mathematics, and punctuated equilibrium as a concept in the theory of evolution. Agree or disagree with evolution, the concept has nothing to do with New Age other than the usual loose and wordy analogy.

"Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! To what end is it for you? The day of the Lord is darkness and not light.
As if a man did flee from a lion and a bear met him, or went into the house and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
Shall not the day of the Lord be darkness and not light, even very dark, and no brightness in it?" (Amos 5: 18-20)

anon 11:20 I've posted once every week, not gone quiet at all. you in some self stroking self congratulatory semi dream state of spiritual deception?

re a Binity instead of a Trinity https://www.gotquestions.org/Holy-Spirit-person.html Scriptures showing He is a Person not a force. - this reliance on Matt. 28:19 is a classic example of "bible believers" who don't know the Bible. They focus on a proof text, and if the verse at issue is in doubt suddenly a critical doctrine is in doubt. And seemignorant of verses before and after that clarify for certain what it is about.

This denial of personhood of The Holy Spirit is similar to Macednoianism a condemned heresy, https://orthodoxwiki.org/Macedonianism .I can't find an unambiguous indication of such a denial of personhood rather of divinity of The Holy Spirit. This notion is among the socinian heresies a few centuries ago. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socinianism
hunting through the Bible you find that The Holy Spirit is described as taking action and making decisions, Isa. 48:16 describes Him with The Father YHWH as sending the speaker, preincarnate Jesus, to speak to Isaiah. THIS IS A CONSCIOUS BEING. A PERSON. Both sent Him. Both took action.

at the baptism of Christ all Three Persons were present Jesus God the Second Person of God The holy trinity Incarnate was getting out of the water, The Father spoke, and The Holy Spirit descended like a dove on Jesus.

    There's The Holy Trinity.

"In contrast to God the Father and Jesus Christ, who are consistently compared to human beings in Their form and shape, the Holy Spirit is consistently represented, by various symbols and manifestations,...difficult to understand,...if the Holy Spirit is a person." But if He is an infinite Person HE is by definition shapeless, as are the other Two but they are inclined to represent themselves in a human form. The holy Spirit appeared as a dove. His primary focus is to put attention on the other Two, to testify of Jesus, Jesus says He doesn't speak on His own.

Jesus prayed to The Father as father not to The Holy Spirit by Whose means He was conceived - But this conception wasn't about sex more like an artificial action, and JEsus' origin is in The Father as is the origin of The Holy Spirit.

"Paul’s standard greeting ...is “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” Yet in each of his greetings he never mentions the Holy Spirit. (The same can also be said of Peter in the salutations of both his epistles.)"

The Holy Spirit is the connection in Jesus between the believers and is inspiring Paul's letters. Someone noted that the scene in Revelation has the Father and Son being praised but where is The Holy Spirit? in the masses inspiring their praising of The Father and The Son (The Lamb).

Jesus told The Apostles that The Holy Spirit will bring you into all truth and remind you of all He taught them, this being primarily to the Apostles, lesser to us. This fit them to teach, establish and to eventually write down what Jesus said and did. THESE ARE ACTIONS WITH PURPOSE, INDICATE A PERSON.

The Binitarian says, "Jesus told His followers that the Holy Spirit, which the Father would send, “will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you” (John 14:26). " YET HERE IS A CLASSIC PROOF OF THE PERSONALITY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, A PERSON NOT A FORCE. HE DOES THINGS, HE TEACHES. HE MAKES US REMEMBER JESUS' WORDS. This is note primarily to the Apostles fitting them to teach, establish and write later on the Scriptures. it is only secondarily to us.

re Alwine let us pray such people keep on being stupid enough to discuss their evil plans in public.

  34. In the very first paragraph of the ‘gotquestions’ link provided by Christine above the author uses the fallacious pronoun argument I acknowledged as such a while back. See 9:13 AM comment (8th to the last in that thread of comments) here:
    www.blogger.com/comment.g?postID=6140666495143863119&blogID=11772087&isPopup=false&page=2&bpli=1

Now, to be clear, I absolutely agree that Scripture affirms the personhood of the Holy Spirit, but the ‘pronoun’ argument is almost laughably bad—it would be laughable if it weren’t so serious in its ramifications in providing horribly bad apologetics. Any person who is even somewhat acquainted with foreign languages which assign gender to nouns (unlike English) generally and Greek more specifically knows that pronouns MUST match the gender of their referent. And anyone who is against Trinitarianism specifically or Christianity generally can use that bad pronoun argument against Christianity. It can make Christians seem like the ignorant/unintelligent (or even dishonest) people that many accuse Christians of being.

Having stated the foregoing, I’ll address the errors related to this in the link point-by-point:

The Bible provides many ways to help us understand that the Holy Spirit is truly a person—that is, He is a personal being, rather than an impersonal thing. This is true.

First, every pronoun used in reference to the Spirit is “he” not “it.” Though this may be true in English translations in certain places in Scripture, this is absolutely untrue in the Greek New Testament. This will be clarified as I go.

The original Greek language of the New Testament is explicit in confirming the person of the Holy Spirit. In the original Greek language the word for “S/spirit”, pneuma, is neuter. But this is hardly an indicator that the Holy Spirit is an “it” any more than the masculine kosmos (“world”) indicates that the world is a “he”, i.e., male in gender.

The word for “Spirit” (pneuma) is neuter and would naturally take neuter pronouns to have grammatical agreement. This is absolutely true. And it does in Scripture.

Yet, in many cases, masculine pronouns are found (e.g., John 15:26; 16:13-14). Masculine pronouns are used in these cases because they refer to the noun paraklētos (“comforter”, “advocate”, etc.), which is a masculine noun! Moreover, this is hardly “many cases”, as these are only found in the Upper Room discourse when the pronoun refers to the paraklētos. The Upper Room discourse is also interspersed with neuter pronouns in the Greek when referring to pneuma. For example, in John 14:17, the neuter relative pronoun hò is used once and the neuter ‘personal’ pronoun auto is used twice as substitutes for to pneuma at the very beginning of the verse—though all three are translated “him” in English.

Grammatically, there is no other way to understand the pronouns of the New Testament related to the Holy Spirit—He is referred to as a “He,” as a person. I cannot know if the author is being dishonest or is obtusely conflating issues. The English translations generally use “he” if a pronoun is substituted for the Holy Spirit in translation. But the Greek pronoun MUST agree in gender with its antecedent. And in the Greek New Testament any pronoun which refers to pneuma is neuter to match the gender of pneuma.

Using bad apologetics seriously harms the Christian cause.

  40. Anonymous,

I have begun to read the literature you repeatedly link to, on the ucg.org web site. I'll limit myself to the first article, called, "Are Biblical Holy Days for New Testament Christians?" and found at this link: https://www.ucg.org/the-good-news/are-biblical-holy-days-for-new-testament-christians

When I came to this paragraph, it looked to me like a big red flag:

Some believe we don’t need to observe any days, and only need to have love. But how does one “observe” love? Holy Days are observed, but one does not observe love. The way to love God and our neighbor is explained in 1 John 5:2, 3: “By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.”

Love is immediately being mocked by saying that you can't "observe" it. I can imagine a secular atheist saying this very thing, and it is very physically reductivist, by the way. Then the implication is immediately made that you must do something that can be observed so that one can observe that you are putting into practice "love".

Right here, I am already ready to make my stand. I thought this might be difficult. I think this gets right to the heart of the matter. Bluntly I think this is teaching people to be Pharisees.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Anonymous4:58 PM

    In agreement with you J.

Pharisees are a by-product that can be born out of religious rituals and mandates (and go beyond what God requires to keeping men's traditions instead). These are Pharisees in the sense of what Jesus was up against, came against Him when He walked on earth. Jesus replaced that system with Himself.

But love for God, and for the brethren called the church, and compassion shown to a lost and dying world in need of the very Savior we ourselves know we desperately needed, is the by-product of a humbled, humble, sinner turned into a saint by the Lord's blood tie, that relationship to Jesus, is what God is after. The resulting outflow of thought, of word, and deeds, of a person with a surrendered walk with God through Jesus Christ the Lord as the Bible clearly shows us, makes one obedient to heaven's calling and service, only because the only debt owed to God is a first love, the very love that transforms us from inside to outside, having the potential to transform the world around us...like Jesus did.
That compelling "want to" from inside a person is 1000x better than any "have to" imposed by any outside, pressured by men.

    ReplyDelete
  42. 4:58 above,
I agree with everything you've written here, except for one little element. I first noticed it tucked neatly into the epilogue of the "Jesus" bio on History Channel. It seems so nice and it seems so correct, but is it?
You said: " ...the very love that transforms us from inside to outside, having the potential to transform the world around us...like Jesus did. "
Did Jesus have any desire to transform the world? Wasn't the world a hopeless lost cause then as it is now?
Holiness always was a separation from, and a coming out of, the world.
Maybe I'm nit-picking, but I think it's an important point. We are not called to transform the world, or fix or change the world at all.
The world is Satan's domain, at least for now, and we are called to reject it and step out of it, not transform it.
Again, please don't take this as a personal attack. I think that your position is Christian. But for the young one who just became a Christian, they might be lead to the "social gospel" and politics.
If Jesus had wanted to transform the world, it would be transformed by now, but it seems to me it's just as depraved and cold as ever.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Anonymous10:47 AM

    Hi Paul.
I agree with your understanding about what I wrote. Absolutely it is an important point. I am speaking to the potential in that power available as I was describing it. God's grace is greater than all our sin, the whole world's sin, and is available worldwide, salvation is meant for all...but indeed, not all will take God up on it, is absolutely the truth. Not all will be transformed..but could have been.
In hell they will remember all the life long evidences God gave them to trust Him and be free, but will be trapped in their own "if onlys" with no more chance to turn. That torment will be hotter than the very fires of hell itself as they realize that God never wanted them there, made everything available in the sacrifice of His Son to keep them out of there..to only believe Him and find He was and is the one and only escape...but they refused. We see this every single day in this earthly life and so it will be right on to the end, people do not want to retain God in their knowledge, they are seeking their own way, the Bible so aptly describes.
I do not believe in easy believe-ism, nor do I believe in the social gospel. I believe the Gospel and it's powerful *intent* in the lives of individual people who go out with the joy, peace, and power awakened in their hearts to make the Gospel's forgiving light shine before the lost and dying world. You and I came to that light, were totally, completely, for all time and eternity, forgiven, and were transformed--that is the inside to the outside I spoke to. How many around us are taking up God's offer too? I have no way to know that, that part is between God and them, so I understand only that the seed should still be scattered, planted and watered by God, that the light should shine anyway, that my life and lifestyle should reflect that. God knows who will take Him for His Word. Oh what would the world look like if Jesus was Lord and King in everyone's life in the here and now? We would wake up in a totally different world if all would bow their knees today while they are still living to do that. So doesn't He want them to come to the light? By all means, and the Holy Spirit is always ready to do the impossible, wherever faith is born into hearts. And the transforming power of God is changing hearts, one heart at a time. I pray to make a difference, but the results are up to Him.
I appreciate your comment very much.

    Paul,
    This just occurred to me...
I so love the words spoken about Jesus' disciples after they were filled with the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Those who hated the Gospel accused them of "turning the world upside down" as in Acts 17:6.
It is in that vein that I am speaking. In each little respective corner of the world that we live in may we be used of God in just that way...and see some (yes, coming out of the world, separated from it by the power of God) absolutely transformed in those circles of influence each of us is given. Maybe this clarifies more what I was trying to convey?

I am growing more convinced that most prophecy was already fulfilled, and we are now perhaps living in the age when Satan has been loosed again for a little while after already having been bound. I don't think futurism and Dispensationalism are getting it right, though, as to what we can expect to happen next.

Also Jesus said he would return as a thief in the night while carry on with our life as usual, just as the people just before the flood were carrying on with life as usual.

It is possible that Jesus is already here as a thief in the night. How so? By appearing in dreams and vision to Middle Easterners who are Islamic. How is he a thief? By taking their souls back from Satan.

Are we blind to what is already happening in our own time and to what has already been fulfilled historically?

There is no need for a revived Roman empire or for a revived Ottoman empire. If Satan has been loosed again, we can expect to see all the things we saw before Christendom (in spite of how flawed Christendom has always been). Namely we can expect to see the return of:

    - Widespread homosexuality

    - Cannibalism

    - Infanticide

    - Madness of mobs

    - Occult practices

Most of the things on that list are already here, and there is evidence of attempts to bring back cannibalism as well.

Constance has thoroughly documented the return of that last, occult practices, even within the so-called churches to the extent they have become New Age dressed up in Christianized language.

We need to take a look back at history, and realize that in the Jerusalem from 64AD to 70AD, men were described as dressing up as women and wearing make-up while roaming the streets and suddenly plunging swords into people, after mincing toward them. I don't think we realize what it was like. I think we have lost the history. And guess how long this lasted -- 3 1/2 years.

There is no need to look for a rebuilt temple. There was already an attempt to rebuild it, long ago. The attempt was abandoned, because fires kept coming out of the earth.

Ask yourself why God would desire a rebuilt temple along the lines of the Old Covenant with the resumption of animal sacrifices. Ask yourself why Jesus would desire to sit in a throne inside such a temple and rule from it.

  55. Dear 10:47 and 2:44,
You certainly did not need any correction from me. And as a matter of fact, the world HAS been radically altered since Jesus came to earth. In the absence of Christianity the whole world would simply default to pagan idolatry and witchcraft. Concepts like "Love your enemies and pray for those who spitefully use you" and "You will reap what you sow", and "Blessed are the pure at heart", would never have entered the common discourse with out the first coming of the Messiah.
As it is though, there is "that which restrains" the world. There is a force in the world that the world doesn't understand. The light has come into the world but the world doesn't know it (him). And to this day, the world hates Jesus. It has not been transformed, and it won't be until He returns.
The idea of a gradual takeover of the world by the Church is completely wrong. It is an idea that is behind a number of wrongheaded cults, like Mormonism. When Jesus returns the changes are going to happen overnight. There's going to be a complete overhaul in very short order.

    Yes, READ THE BIBLE everyone.
Read it for yourself! It's the very will and word of God. Millions of people over the centuries, have been tortured and murdered because they owned Bibles and taught others out of that Book of books.

I am Anonymous 8:54 AM, and I have read the Bible -- and also preterist, historicist and countless futurist writers. All writers cite scriptures. They don't all cite the same scriptures. They don't all interpret the scriptures the same. Dispensationalists/futurists are the very worst. Preterists have the most solid basis of all, seconded by historicists.

Maybe both preterists and historicists are right, because one day is as a thousand years to God.

Notice who tries hardest to fulfill futurist prophecies. Who wants to rebuild Solomon's temple? Freemasons do. The Talmudist Sanhedrin do. Orthodox Jews who believe in the Torah are not Zionists. Who wants to stage a New Age messiah? Hopefully everybody commenting on this blog has read Constance's book regarding this occult plan to stage a New Age messiah?

How many false prophets has Dispensationalism/futurism produced now? Hal Lindsey, Tim LaHaye, and many, many others who make of Zionism an idol.

Whose plan is it, then? Is Dispensationalism/futurism Satan's plan, or is it God's plan?

How can you ever know what's already been historically fulfilled unless you read both scripture and history? If it's already been historically fulfilled, how can you so confidently project it into the future?

Why would amillenialism necessitate "kingdom now" or dominionism? It only means that the Holy Spirit is dwelling in the temple of the body of every believer, who together comprise the church and the body of Christ. The body is on Earth, while the head of the body is in heaven and ruling from there. If every Christian body on Earth is not serving two masters, who is their king of their kingdom, right here and right now?

By the way preterists and historicists don't believe all prophecy has been fulfilled. In Revelation John references a double fulfillment for Gog and Magog. The Israel of God is all over the Earth, so this doesn't necessarily mean present day Jerusalem -- which is not a theocratic city and most of whose dwellers do not accept Jesus -- will be surrounded by the armies of Gog and Magog. It could possibly mean that Christians -- including those whose ancestors used to be Jews, who formed the very roots and trunk of the olive tree that comprises the Israel of God -- will be under persecution but then Jesus will rescue them at his Second Coming.

But it doesn't mean that, first, the temple has to be rebuilt and then there has to be a false peace plan in Israel and then there has to be three and a half years of people being decieved and then there has to be three and a half years of tribulation and somewhere in there is a rapture. That whole narrative is a fantasy. Looking for those signs could be misleading to true believers.

It could even lead true believers to support a true abomination, which is what a rebuilt temple with renewed sacrifices would be. It would be a slap in the face to the sacrifice of Jesus which was once and for all.

Gog of Magog and the Maccabean Revolt

    https://scienceandbibleresearch.com/gog-magog-maccabean-revolt.html

To have a clue about what was being referenced, you need to understand its historical fulfillment. A double fulfillment, as John suggests in Revelation, could point to God helping His people with miracles after they were outnumbered and were also betrayed by traitors in their midst, and it seemed hopeless. Fulfillment doesn't need to be literal and physical in our time, after Jesus' death and resurrection and sitting on a throne at the Father's right hand in the heavenly Jerusalem, when the fleshly temple is now our bodies, and believers are located all over the Earth.

Read about the historical fulfillment, which contains miracles, including God sending a vision to the enemies of his people so that their enemies would run about madly and wound themselves by their own sword. Also apparently and earthquake and a tsunami helped. It was a terrible time that included betrayal from traitorous Jews. But in the end God was victorious and even humbled Antiochus, as he had also humbled Nebuchadnezzur before him.

God-honoring Jews, led by Judas Maccabeus and whose army was outnumbered by the invaders, believed "the Lord will crush our enemies" (1 Maccabees 3:22). The Lord gave them victory, so that "Gentiles everywhere began to be afraid of Judas and his brothers. His fame reached the ears of King Antiochus, and people in every nation talked about Judas and his victories" (1 Maccabees 3:25-26). Devout Jews had also pulled down the abomination, cleansed the temple, and rededicated the temple to the Lord "with songs and harps and lutes and cymbals" on the twenty-fifth day of Chislev in 164 BC (1 Maccabees 4:52-54). This fulfilled Daniel's "2,300 evenings and mornings" prophecy (Daniel 8:14). Read this for a discussion on the correct interpretation of "2,300 evenings and mornings." As a result, Antiochus Epiphanes IV, king of the Seleucid Empire, became ill and confessed his wickedness:

    @9:03 AM,

Preterism was pioneered by the Jesuit Luis de Alcasar, and Futurism was revived by (yes, you may have guessed it) another Jesuit called Francisco Ribera (1537-1591), after the last five chapters of Irenaeus's 'Against Heresies' once again came to light in 1570 (although some have questioned the authenticity of such late discoveries attributed to Irenaeus), which propound a form of Futurism (yet, if Irenaeus did so, he seems to have been alone in his generation of doing so). Futurism was furthered by yet another Jesuit, Manuel Lacunza (1731-1801).

I'll stick to Historicism, thanks: it's way of interpreting Holy Writ is stealthily supported in terms of its own historicity and originality to certainly the majority of Church writers tracing back two millenia.

When Was the Book of Revelation Written?

    https://www.christiancourier.com/articles/1552-when-was-the-book-of-revelation-written

raditionally, the book of Revelation has been dated near the end of the first century, around A.D. 96. Some writers, however, have advanced the preterist (from a Latin word meaning “that which is past”) view, contending that the Apocalypse was penned around A.D. 68 or 69, and thus the thrust of the book is supposed to relate to the impending destruction of Jerusalem (A.D. 70).

A few prominent names have been associated with this position (e.g., Stuart, Schaff, Lightfoot, Foy E. Wallace Jr.), and for a brief time it was popular with certain scholars. James Orr has observed, however, that recent criticism has reverted to the traditional date of near A.D. 96 (1939, 2584). In fact, the evidence for the later date is extremely strong.

In view of some of the bizarre theories that have surfaced in recent times (e.g., the notion that all end-time prophecies were fulfilled with the fall of Jerusalem in A.D. 70), which are dependent upon the preterist interpretation, we offer the following.
    External Evidence

The external evidence for the late dating of Revelation is of the highest quality.
    Irenaeus

Irenaeus (A.D. 180), a student of Polycarp (who was a disciple of the apostle John), wrote that the apocalyptic vision “was seen not very long ago, almost in our own generation, at the close of the reign of Domitian” (Against Heresies 30). The testimony of Irenaeus, not far removed from the apostolic age, is first rate. He places the book near the end of Domitian’s reign, and that ruler died in A.D. 96. Irenaeus seems to be unaware of any other view for the date of the book of Revelation.
    Clement of Alexandria

Clement of Alexandria (A.D. 155-215) says that John returned from the isle of Patmos “after the tyrant was dead” (Who Is the Rich Man? 42), and Eusebius, known as the “Father of Church History,” identifies the “tyrant” as Domitian (Ecclesiastical History III.23).

Even Moses Stuart, America’s most prominent preterist, admitted that the “tyrant here meant is probably Domitian.” Within this narrative, Clement further speaks of John as an “old man.” If Revelation was written prior to A.D. 70, it would scarcely seem appropriate to refer to John as an old man, since he would only have been in his early sixties at this time.

  62. anon, I have maybe missed one week posting in months. nothing is missing. you lie as usual. Craig never refuted me only displays irrelevant grammar, ignoring what makes it irrelevant.

of course the pronoun will agree with the noun and pneuma is neuter as it should be (although gender ascription in languages is generally arbitary and meaningless) because it can be personal or impersonal.

GREEK GRAMMAR DOESN'T MATTER. WHAT MATTERS IS THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS SHOWN AS TAKING ACTION AND MAKING DECISIONS.

This shows sentience, will and personality. He can be GRIEVED is that an impersonal force? If He were impersonal force, wouldn't the phrasing be more like Grieve not The Father and The Son lest they withdraw The Holy Spirit to any extent or entirely from you?

I Cor. 12:11 "All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, who apportions them to each one as IT [corrected to Greek grammar] determines."

This "it" is DETERMINING things, deciding things. doing things. This is an infinite person complaints about Him being poured out so not a person assumes a person is finite.
Jer. 23:24 God says "Do not I fill the heavens and the earth?"

J, to observe a day is not to see it but treat a day special but you are on the right track. Galatians and Acts 15 Apostolic Council are against Armstrongism If circumcision wasn't standard for health reasons in hospitals, these people would demand it.

WHAT ANON NEVER DOES IS ESTABLISH JUST WHAT THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD ARE. he/she refers to the commandments of God then says mosaic covenant specific laws as what these are without establishing that under the NEW covenant which by definition can't be same as the old, these particular commandments are still operational. JEsus speaks points to Genesis in the marriage discussion and is constantly reiterating issues of morality where your mind is at and charity to the poor. and not letting dispute seethe into hatred and eventual violent or other results of that, and the outrage at the dishonest as well as inappropriate behavior of the price gouging money shangers. This is continued in Epistles and He told the Apostles to make disciples teaching them what He taught them.

And He said the law wouldn't pass until fulfilled AND HE CAME TO FULFILL IT so He came to make it pass and be replaced with a better and new law, which is the original without the ceremonial stuff that points to Christ Who having now arrived the shadow that points to Him can be ignored we look at Him instead. This is the context of the statement about observing new moons and sabbaths and so forth, this is not about hold over pagan ceremonies. Col. 2:16

Irenaeus expected THE antichrist in future, so did Hippolytus, Ephraim and others. ROME DOES NOT FIT they never demanded anyone wear a sign to be able to do commerce. Most prophecy probably fulfilled already, some still to go some maybe double fulfillment. God's Holy Spirit indwells believers yes, but we and the church are outposts of the Kingdom of God that will be brought in literal power to earth. Jesus ruling forever not just 1,000 years. We are mystically His Body but He didn't disintegrate, His physical body is in heaven for now. John to now=REv. 1-6.

    Christine 4:14 AM,

How was the word "mark" used in the Old Testament? Like all of the symbols in Revelation, understanding needs to be rooted in the Old Testament. Ezekiel 9 references a mark, but notice that it is a spiritual mark and not a physical one. The mark of Ezekiel is a spiritual mark that is upon the righteous.

What is being conveyed in Ezekiel 9 by the spiritual mark? Spiritual ownership: does an individual belong to God or Satan? The mark of the beast on the forehead designates evil thoughts or complicity with evil thoughts. The mark of the beast on the right hand designates evil actions or complicity with evil actions.

Ezekiel 9 King James Version (KJV)

9 He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.

    3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;

4 And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:

6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

Exodus 13 King James Version (KJV)

13 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.

3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

4 This day came ye out in the month Abib.

5 And it shall be when the Lord shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.

6 Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the Lord.

7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters.

8 And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the Lord did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.

9 And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the Lord's law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the Lord brought thee out of Egypt.

10 Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.

11 And it shall be when the Lord shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, as he sware unto thee and to thy fathers, and shall give it thee,

12 That thou shalt set apart unto the Lord all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the males shall be the Lord's.

13 And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.

14 And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the Lord brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:

15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the Lord slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.

16 And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand the Lord brought us forth out of Egypt.

17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:

One can find many more Bible verses in the Old Testament about various kinds of foreheads: foreheads with the law written on them, stubborn foreheads of bronze (what we would call hard-headed even today). Peruse all the references to things marked or written on hands and foreheads or various other ways of speaking of foreheads in the Old Testament. Also recall that David's stone struck Goliath's forehead. The Old Testament is very rich with various references to foreheads.

Similar things have happened to other states.

What year did John write the Book of Revelation?

    https://www.quora.com/What-year-did-John-write-the-Book-of-Revelation?share=1

John was on the island of Patmos twice. It was a prison colony. If you were a religious or political prisoner because the Roman emperor disagreed with you, you were released when the emperor died.

Nero was the first persecutor of Christians when he blamed them for the fire of Rome in AD 64. Nero began killing and arresting Christians.

The Book of Revelation mentions the Temple still standing in Chapter 11. The Temple was destroyed by Titus in AD 70. Nero died in AD 68.

So part of Revelation was written between AD 64 and AD 68 when John would have been released on the death of the emperor.

The theme of the Book of Revelation is that the spirit of the pagan Roman empire entered the Roman Catholic church. When the Roman empire collapsed, the Roman church rose up on its ruins. This pagan spirit that started in Babylon would then infiltrate the Protestant churches too.

Today the Pope is the only dictator in Europe. He is part of a long succession of Popes. Where did this idea come from that a church must be ruled by a one-man dictator?

Julius Caesar destroyed the Roman Republic and declared himself dictator for life. Then his family (often by adoption) were able to follow him as dictators for another five generations. His grand nephew Augustus that he adopted declared himself emperor of the new Roman empire.

Caesar, Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius. These five were dead.

REVELATION 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

“one is” Nero. He was number six.

So this was written before Nero died in AD 68.

Number seven was Galba. He was a Roman general who usurped the position of emperor but was killed after 7 months, a short space of time.

Galba took the rulership away from Caesar’s family.

So the Roman Catholic church would finally rise to power over the ruins of the Roman empire that Caesar’s family had established.

REVELATION 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

Seven days in a week. Seven completes a system. Thus 8 represents a new system. The Roman church replacing the Roman empire.

But the Roman church is “of the seven” , of the nature of the seven. The Roman church is ruled by a dictator (the Pope is a dictator) and he owes his position to a succession of Popes. Caesar’s family ruled as successors to Caesar.

REVELATION 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

“ the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.” This is the succession of Popes.

The Popes claim to be successors of Peter. Peter was the first apostle that Jesus called. So if Peter is claimed to be a Pope (which he never was) then there always “was” a Pope as far back as you wish to go in church history.

“and is not” the Pope dies

“and yet is” a new Pope is elected.

The succession of Popes is the longest line of rulers in the world.

Then Domitian became emperor between AD 81 and AD 96.

Domitian also began to persecute Christians and once again John was imprisoned on the island of Patmos.

That is when the rest of Revelation was written.

When Domitian died in AD 96 then John was again released.

Imagine how you would feel if, tomorrow, a religious leader arose in America who assumed authority over every Protestant denomination. Then this man wrote documents stating that He is above God's law. He also wrote documents stating that he can forgive sin, and you can purchase forgiveness of sin from him, too. Further he has the power to bless and curse the President and every member of the Senate, the Judiciary and Congress. Wouldn't you think this had to be the Antichrist? Also he has power over the military to persecute heretics. And power over corporations to boycott heretics. Heretics are all who won't "venerate" him. This office has long been in the world, having arisen shortly after 600 AD, and it is called the Papacy. No Pope has ever renounced any of their blasphemous historical documents.

The Apostle John, we have said, speaking of the apostacy, the coming of which he predicts, styles it the “Antichrist.” And we have also said that the Papacy, speaking through its representative and head, calls itself the “Vicar of Christ.” The first, “Antichrist,” is a Greek word, the second, “Vicar,” is an English word; but the two are in reality one, for both words have the same meaning. Antichrist translated into English is Vice-Christ, or Vicar of Christ; and Vicar of Christ, rendered into Greek is Antichrist –Antichristos. If we can establish this –and the ordinary use of the word by those to whom the Greek was a vernacular, is decisive on the point –we shall have no difficulty in showing that this is the meaning of the word “Antichrist,” –even a Vice-Christ. And if so, then every time the Pope claims to be the Vicar of Christ, he pleads at the bar of the world that he is the “Antichrist.”

  74. 11:23,
The evidence seems overwhelming. I think the best book I've ever read on the subject is "A Woman Rides The Beast" by Dave Hunt.
Consider also that Jesus told his disciples to "Call no man on earth father, for one is your father which is in heaven." (Mat.23:9)
_The title "Pope" means papa, or father and R.C. priests are all referred to as Father.
Consider also that the Book of Revelations ends the Bible with a very stern warning:
"For I testify unto every man that hears the words of the prophesy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophesy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, from the things which are written in this book." (Rev. 22:18,19)
The Roman church has decreed that the words of a Pope are infallible when speaking of holy things. The Roman church has also decreed that the Bible is on an equal level with all the centuries of Church dogma and teaching, which is referred to as Tradition, even though Jesus asked the Pharisees "Why do you keep the traditions of men and not the Commandments of God?"
The Roman church tortured and murdered well over a million Protestants over the course of the Spanish and the Roman Inquisitions. She is drunk with the blood of martyrs.
And as noted above, the three or four main views on how to interpret Eschatological prophesy were all given to us by Jesuits.
The Jesuit priesthood was formed by the Vatican with the sole directive of destroying the Protestant Reformation, and along with it the notion that people should own their own Bibles and read them. It was they who perfected torture methods to make people confess to things that are not even remotely sinful, like reading your own Bible and believing that the Holy Spirit will guide you in all truth, just as Jesus said about the Holy Spirit. Guiding people in all truth is probably the Holy Spirit's number one task. The Roman Church has usurped that role and claimed it for itself all these centuries.
And, Revelations chapter 18 sums the whole matter it up,and verse 4 indicates that for all the horrible lies and acts of the Roman Catholic Church, it would seem that there are many of God's people in it, being duped. That's why it says "Come ye out of her MY PEOPLE, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues." This one verse alone shows that the Vatican is one thing, and that the people in the pews is another. God is obviously not talking to Islam, or to Sorcerers or wiccans or soothsayers here. He's talking about a symbolic woman, which is a church!

Maitreya might really have manifested and fooled the world if he hadn't become so notorious among so many Christians. Maybe God always foresaw Maitreya and always planned to make him into a (mostly) dud of an antichrist, and Constance was part of God's plan. Or maybe he is still alive and waiting in the wings. Benjamin Creme is dead now. So is another false prophet, Reinhard Bonnke, who predicted Maitreya's alleged sudden appearance in Nairobi. Both dead now.

I think the Papal dynasty as Antichrist was more obvious in the 1100-1700 AD time span than today. It's hard to fear the Pope today, just as it is hard to fear the British monarchy today. The Pope has been neutered and declawed compared to the peak of the historical power of the papal dynasty and the RCC. Not that the RCC doesn't still go on deceiving people to this very day.

  77. "Maitreya" being the almighty, powerful, 'the whole world follows him" AntiChrist is a comical concept if there ever was one.

The ongoing Papacy has far more power, influence, attraction than any obvious "New Age Messiah" will ever have, and, Rome has had a position of global power and influence since the 7th. Century.

Under the Papacy, you have virtually all of the identifying aspects associated with the AntiChrist system, including masquerading as not only "a" Christian institution, but THE ONLY TRUE system in the entire world, with its blasphemous false "Vicar" operating as the head of the snake. This masquerade is so clever, so deceitful, that it is "possible" even to fool God's elect. Rome appears as an angel of light, whereas, the New Age obviously represents the ancient Occult darkness that can be easily recognized as such by those that have even an ounce of spiritual discernment.

Under the New Age system, it is so demonstrably false, you'd practically have to be a moronic atheist in order to follow such nonsense.

Don't you realize Trump, Clinton, and many others are Jesuit trained? Yes, folks, it's the Hegelian Dialectic played with the Machiavellian twist of the Jesuits, along with (SMOM, Opus Dei, Ultras, and other RC factions) running the show behind the scenes. Whoever you vote for, you get Rome.

    666 - The Anti-Christ to come?

    http://historicism.com/misc/666antichrist.htm

One of the plans devised by the Roman church was hatched by a Spanish priest called Fransisco de Ribera. In 1585 he wrote a commentary on the book of Revelation, in which he tried to take the spotlight off the Pope. While the Reformers were pointing to Revelation 13 and declaring the Papacy as the Antichrist, Ribera explained that this “Antichrist” was some person who was to appear somewhere in the future. Ribera’s comments were published as footnotes in the Latin Vulgate edition of the Bible – meant for Roman Catholics to read of course.

Here, in summary, is what Ribera said about the Antichrist:

    1. The Antichrist is a political leader, and individual, who will appear some time in the future,

    2. He will arise in the last days and make a covenant with the Jewish nation,

    3. He will rebuild the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem, where the Muslim dome of the rock now stands, and restore animal sacrifices for the Jews, ruling there for 3 and a half years,

    4. He will emerge as a world ruler, with power and authority over all nations, using miracles to back his claims, and subdue the church under him during a great tribulation.

Ribera misquoted Daniel chapter 9 in his attempt to shift the focus away from the Pope. He changed the word “confirm” to “make” in Dan 9:27, saying that the Antichrist would “make” a covenant with the Jews. The reference is actually to the Messiah, who confirmed the New Covenant, and then died for his people. [Amazing so many have fallen for this!] It should not surprise us to see how the Roman church twisted Scripture to bolster a lie.

One outstanding horror of Ribera’s work was to shift the focus away from the Papacy, but then he added insult to injury by taking the glory away from Jesus the Messiah.

  80. Just a couple of personal notes regarding "Benjamin Creme and Lord Maitreya."

Way back in the 1970's, I was working a night job and would often eat my pre-work dinner while watching the "Merv Griffin Show" which came on at about 4:00 PM. For whatever reason, Merv would often have Benjamin Creme on his show. Although I was not then a believer, I instantly recognized this man as a religious charlatan and fraud. Over and over again, Creme would spout the same old nonsense: "Lord Maitreya is alive and he will soon come forth to declare to the world who he is, blah, blah, blah." While Creme droned on about Maitreya, Griffin would ALWAYS have this furrowed browed look on his face indicating that he was taking this all very seriously (and, BTW, YOU should too). Again, I was NOT a believer back then, but I distinctly remember thinking "what a bunch of hogwash, who can believe such nonsense."

After changing jobs, I no longer watched Merv Griffin. Merv and Benjamin Creme, thankfully, were removed from my life. I can't recall EVER about Benjamin Creme again until I began to visit this blog site ! Lo and behold, the old path paver for Maitreya fraud was considered to be a serious threat to the world after all. I didn't buy into that analogy before I was a believer and never took him seriously after I became a believer. One thing about those that are blind spiritually; they will ALWAYS gravitate towards blind leaders in order to help them on their mutual into the pit.

Let me just say this; I have known many, many people in my life, the vast majority of which are meandering through life without paying much attention at all to Biblical truth. Many are caught up in a "false gospel" with no real, firm foundation of hope that is based solely upon, through God's grace, Christ's finished work on the cross, along with His resurrection. Having said that, I can't say that I know a SINGLE person that is a "follower" of the New Age Movement !

There many paths along the broad way that leads to destruction and most of them are very clever deceptions. The New Age Movement is certainly a false way, but it isn't very clever in the slightest. It is such an obvious fraud that it will not fool ANY of God's elect, whereas, under the banner of "Christianity," many will be deceived by men that profess, via lip service, Jesus Christ! This is precisely what Jesus warned us about ... "let no man deceive you, for many shall come in my name ..."

‘New Age’ beliefs common among both religious and nonreligious Americans

    https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2018/10/01/new-age-beliefs-common-among-both-religious-and-nonreligious-americans/

Most American adults self-identify as Christians. But many Christians also hold what are sometimes characterized as “New Age” beliefs – including belief in reincarnation, astrology, psychics and the presence of spiritual energy in physical objects like mountains or trees. Many Americans who are religiously unaffiliated also have these beliefs.

Overall, roughly six-in-ten American adults accept at least one of these New Age beliefs. Specifically, four-in-ten believe in psychics and that spiritual energy can be found in physical objects, while somewhat smaller shares express belief in reincarnation (33%) and astrology (29%).

But New Age beliefs are not necessarily replacing belief in traditional forms of religious beliefs or practices. While eight-in-ten Christians say they believe in God as described in the Bible, six-in-ten believe in one or more of the four New Age beliefs analyzed here, ranging from 47% of evangelical Protestants to roughly seven-in-ten Catholics and Protestants in the historically black tradition.

    Continued...

    ReplyDelete
  84. Anonymous8:03 PM

Moreover, religiously unaffiliated Americans (those who say their religion is atheist, agnostic or “nothing in particular”) are about as likely as Christians to hold New Age beliefs. However, atheists are much less likely to believe in any of the four New Age beliefs than agnostics and those who say their religion is “nothing in particular.” Just 22% of atheists believe in at least one of four New Age beliefs, compared with 56% of agnostics and eight-in-ten among those whose religion is “nothing in particular.”

Americans who consider themselves to be spiritual but not religious also tend to accept at least one New Age belief. Roughly three-quarters of U.S. adults in this category hold one or more New Age beliefs, including six-in-ten who believe spiritual energy can be located in physical things and 54% who believe in psychics. And among those who say they are religious and spiritual, 65% espouse at least one New Age belief.

Americans who reject both the religious and spiritual labels also are more likely to reject New Age beliefs. Roughly three-in-ten or fewer in this group believe in psychics, reincarnation, astrology or that spiritual energy can be found in objects. And fewer than half (45%) affirm one or more of these beliefs.

There also are gender, age and other demographic differences associated with New Age beliefs. For instance, just as women are more likely than men to identify with a religion and to engage in a number of religious practices, women also are more likely to hold New Age beliefs. Across all four measures – belief in psychics, reincarnation, astrology and that spiritual energy can be found in objects – larger shares of women than men subscribe to these beliefs. And overall, seven-in-ten women hold at least one New Age belief, compared to 55% of men.

Also, adults under age 65, those who have not graduated from college, racial and ethnic minorities, and Democrats and those who lean toward the Democratic Party are more likely than others to hold to at least one New Age belief.

Was Jesus Wrong about the Generation of the Jews?
Posted on January 16, 2015 by Joe Haynes

There is a prediction made by Jesus in the New Testament that has led many to conclude that Jesus was a false prophet, or merely wrong, and therefore not the Son of God at all.

    Mark 13:30 (C.f., Matthew 24:34) says,

” Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.” (Mar 13:30 ESV)

However, the prophecy in Mark 13 included details that actually had not happened by the time everyone in that generation of the original hearers had died. That “generation” all died by around 100AD (give or take a few years), but still Jesus has not returned 1915 years later at the time of this post. So was Jesus wrong?

A number of solutions have been proposed to resolve this difficulty. My favourite, until recently, was the argument that the Greek word, “genea” translated as “generation” can also mean “race” as in the ethnic group of the Jews. And so, I used to suggest, the prediction is actually that the Jews will survive as a people all the way up to the second coming of Christ. And I do believe they will. But I no longer think that is what Mark 13:30 and Matthew 24:34 mean.

I found the difficulty of interpreting vs 30 resolved by a clue in vs 29:

“So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that he is near, at the very gates.” (Mar 13:29 ESV, emphasis mine)*

The things His hearers might see, and from which they would deduce the nearness of Christ’s return, could not include Christ’s return, described in v 26. Obviously it would make no sense for Jesus to say, “You will know my return is near when you see me return.” So the things Jesus’ hearers will see, according to verse 29, do not include events after verse 25, and possibly even further back as far as verse 23.

The people who would see Christ’s return is a different group of people than Jesus is talking to in verse 29: in verse 26 Jesus says, “they will see” and in verse 29 Jesus says, “when you see”. Therefore there is a distinction in the whole prophecy about things Jesus’ hearers would live to see and things an unspecified future generation will be alive to see.

    Continued...

    ReplyDelete
  86. Anonymous10:48 AM

These two considerations, (a) that in v 29 “when you see these things taking place” refers to events at least prior to verse 25 and maybe verse 23; b) that they are things Jesus’ hearers at that time would live to see, since Jesus says, “when YOU see” in v 29,) leave little wiggle room in the text for avoiding the implication that “all these things” that would take place while the then generation of Jesus’ hearers was still alive refer not to the predictions after verse 24, but exclusively to the predictions prior to verse 23.**

This is the most likely understanding of the way Mark arranged this text, with a break at verse 23: “I have told you all things beforehand.” Everything Jesus wanted that generation living at that time to watch for, He had already predicted before verse 23. So why did Jesus go on after verse 23 to describe events far future from the lives of His disciples?

The verses after v 23 then form a prolepsis looking ahead to what a future generation will be alive to see. Mark focuses Jesus’ prophecy in chapter 13 on the answer He gave to the disciples’ question in verse 4. But the disciples asked more than Mark records in that verse, and Jesus answered more than Mark records in chapter 13. The rest of the disciples’ question, according to Matt 24:3, included, “…and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” That’s why Jesus also prophesied about His second coming and the end of the age. But Mark chose not to make those future events that main point of this chapter, rather he focused on the answer to the first question of the disciples about the frightening prediction that the Temple would be levelled. Nonetheless, as a fitting close to his account of Jesus’ prophetic words, Mark includes the final hope of the believer in this chapter: the second coming of Christ and of the end of the age. But He does not mean for the reader to interpret this to mean that the then living disciples would still be alive to see those future events. That’s why Mark records that Jesus switched the pronoun from “you will see” to “they will see” in verse 26.

For all these reasons this difficult text in verse 30 is rightly interpreted to mean that the generation of the disciples alive at the time Jesus spoke these words, would not be all dead yet before they saw the destruction of Jerusalem, of the Temple, the survival of the Christian Church by fleeing to Pella, and the BEGINNING of the Jewish Tribulation that began in 70AD and continued, as Leviticus 26:34 predicted, “as long as [the Jews are scattered to their] enemies’ land…”.

    Continued...

  87. Anonymous10:49 AM

Events in France this past couple of weeks show that many of the Jews are still living in hostile lands to which their people were scattered following the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD. The hatred that drives the Jewish people to flee from country to country, and has for most of 2000 years, continues today. This phenomenon is the Jewish Tribulation the beginning of which Jesus predicted in verse 19 and the end of which Jesus foresaw in verse 24. The fact that the Prime Minister of Israel this past week could offer safe haven to frightened fellow-Jews is a Godsend first possible in the 20th Century. So maybe this Jewish Tribulation is over, or almost over? Time will tell. But the attack in Paris is one footnote of this Tribulation that, tragically, is more the rule than the exception. As one writer noted,

I can’t claim to have known Georges Wolinski, the 80-year-old cartoonist among the dead on Wednesday, but I met him briefly, a few years ago. Via Laura Rosen Cohen, I learn of the strange, circular journey of his life and death. His father was a Polish Jew who fled to Tunisia to lead a life free of pogroms. Georges was born there in 1934. Two years later, his dad was murdered, and the family moved again, this time to France.

And on Wednesday, like his father, the son was killed.

So far, Jesus’ predictions have been spot-on. That generation did not pass away before they saw His words come true. Armed with the knowledge of His predictions, the Christian Jews in Jerusalem survived the Roman siege in 70AD. May our generation also live by the words of Jesus:

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.” (Mar 13:31 ESV)

*The Greek literally reads, “So also you, when you see these things taking place…” emphasizing the the 2nd person “you” by the inclusion of the pronoun in addition to the 2nd person form of the verb, “to see”.

**Someone might object that verse 29 goes on to say that then, “you know that he is near, at the very gates”, and that this must mean the disciples living then were told to expect the return of Jesus in their lifetimes. But the Greek [c.f. the KJV of verse 29] only says, “it is near, at the very gates”, not “he”: the word is third-person singular, and not masculine or neuter. Some translators choose to refer the pronoun to the antecedent in verse 26, “the Son of Man”. But the metaphor of the fig tree provides an antecedent in “Summer”, and Jesus could just as easily have in mind, “that tribulation” of verse 26 and verse 19, or the “end” of the city mentioned in verse 7 and predicted as the theme of the whole passage in verse 2. My point is that the end of verse 29 does not settle the debate one way or another since the verb “is” is neither masculine nor neuter.

Why Terence Trent D'Arby became Sananda Maitreya: 'It was that or death'

    https://www.theguardian.com/music/2017/oct/05/why-terence-trent-darby-became-sananda-maitreya-it-was-that-or-death

In 1987, his debut album saw him hailed as a rival to Michael Jackson and Prince – but then his star crashed and burned. He talks about the nervous breakdown that triggered his identity change, living as a recluse and the music industry’s ‘Olympian’ conspiracy to bring him down

When Sananda Maitreya references his previous life as Terence Trent D’Arby, he looks uncomfortable. He even says “he”, not “I”, as though he is talking about a different person.

“You know, I had no choice,” he explains. He is sitting in the intense afternoon heat on the upper terrace of an apartment in central Milan, where he has lived for several years with his Italian wife, the architect and former television presenter Francesca Francone, and their two young sons. “People ask: ‘Why did you change your name?’ When you have a psyche that’s no longer functional, you petition another psyche. You either die – you kill yourself – or you think: ‘No, I’ve got more to do.’

“I was always Sananda Maitreya,” he continues, “and he [D’Arby] was assigned the role of this other form, which he performed until they pulled the plug on him. They didn’t pull the plug on Sananda; they pulled the plug on that particular script and psyche.” He sighs wearily.

“I don’t do many interviews,” he admits, describing the effects of his ordeal in the music business in terms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). “I guess I stayed away because I didn’t want to face it. The PTSD can strike at any time and you have to deal with it. I can’t blame drugs, I can’t blame alcohol. The dude didn’t just change his name to be clever. It was that or death.”

LONDON, March 31, 2010 -- Raj Patel has found himself in an unusual position -- having to deny he's a god. Patel, a 38-year-old economist from San Francisco, has been hailed as the Messiah by a religious group called Share International.

After the New York Times first reported Patel's strange story on February 4, the economist has received a whirlwind of publicity.

Share International still publishes articles that are supposed to have been channeled from "the master" (who they say is a member of the "hierarchy" but not "Maitreya" but one whose name is well known in "esoteric circles"). Their latest article was published in November 2019. Although Benjamin Creme is now dead, they claim they withheld some of his channeled articles until the time is right, so they are still publishing these old channeled articles. The one from November 2019 was supposedly channeled in 1987.

The November 2019 article was just the same old communistic utopism mixed with "men will become gods" thinking.

    https://share-international.org/master/2019/ma-2019_11.htm

Apparently nobody has replaced Benjamin Creme to channel the "master" -- at least nobody connected with Share International.

  92. Joe Haynes, in his article cited @ 10:47 AM – 10:49 AM, does a good job explaining the issues. But, perhaps he’s half-right in the comment at the end—as are all the usual English versions. Specifically, the verb in question, estin (“is”) is a finite verb, in the present active 3rd person singular. As he notes, we aren’t 100% sure of the antecedent, since finite verbs do not encode gender, which makes either “summer” (“it”) or “the Son of Man” possible. But, could it be that this was by design, that the words are sufficiently ambiguous to allow not merely either/or but both/and?

Yes, 2:24 PM, however, the Russian Royal family gave sanctuary to the Jesuits in Russia when Pope Clement XIV issued a Papal Bull on 21 July 1773, in Rome, banning and banishing the Jesuits forever.

This Papal Bull was titled, Dominus ac Redemptor Noster, (judging by the title, let alone the content, it was most likely an Ex Cathedra statement ((i.e., Pope Clement was speaking on matters of faith and it was therefore, according to Romish doctrine, an 'infallible' utterance of the Pope).

Pope Clement XIV died of suspected poisoning for his troubles (just as was the late John Paul I, who stood up against the corruption behind the scenes), and although any evidence leading to the perpetrators' identities, to find a motive one may ask: "who would benefit from his murder?"

Pope Pius VII then Reinstated the Jesuits in 1814.

The peoples of Orthodoxy have certainly faced heavy persecution from the Romish 'Church".
The most recent cases were the Jesuit backed Nazis and the starving to death of St. Petersburg (Leningrad) and the Nazi backed Croatian Ustase, many of whom were RC Priests and Jesuits that personally took part in the merciless brutal murders of Serbian Orthodox men women and children, not least in the Jasenovac concentration camp. The most recent, of course, was the slaughter of Serbs by Jesuit trained Bill Clinton's coalition bombing of the Serbs (under the pretext of defending the Croats and Bosnians). All this happened as Croats attacked and ethnically "cleansed" Serbian towns and villages in what was Krajina, raping the girls and women in front of their families, as they slowly tortured and murdered
serbian Orthodox men and boys. At the same time, Serbian cities, such as Pristina (given by the Vatican controlled UN to set up as part of Muslim Albanian Kosovo), were ethnically cleansed by Clinton's coalition forces from the air. Meanwhile, Mujahideen (Al Qaeda) Arabs fought alongside the Muslim Bosnians and Muslim Albanian Kosovans, raping, torturing and beheading Serbian men, women and children en masse, which largely went unreported by the Western Jesuit controlled media.

We all know how terribly the Nazis behaved in Orthodox Greece.

It's not fair to argue from silence; i.e., she didn't expose Jesuits in her book so she must be working for the Jesuits.

I think futurism led Constance to look away from the papacy, like it does most people who are looking for an Antichrist -- unless they think he is an individual Pope (like Peter the Roman, the last Pope, or something like that).

The (second, Revelation fulfillment of) Gog is the Papacy, says Reverend E.P. Cachemaille on pages 34 and 35 of The Prophetic Outlook Today: Where Are We Now in Prophecy?

The book was published in 1918, before the regathering in Israel, but it predicted this regathering, like other Protestant historicist books published before the regathering.

Reverend Cachemaille predicts Gog will be pan-European and pan-Islamic, both. He thinks Jesus' second coming will be to save literal, physical Israel from pan-European and pan-Islamic armies.

This is an interesting prediction in light of the recent movement toward Chrislam.

Page 80 of The Prophetic Outlook Today is brilliant. It speaks of the three unclean spirits coming from the mouths of the dragon, the beast and the false prophet. The author was writing before WWs I and II. The first spirit, which he calls infidelity, could be seen in communism and fascism, as well as humanism and the New Age and green communism. I think Islam is one of the three spirits, too. I disagree that the third spirit is priestcraft, which I think could be subsumed under Popery. The third is Popery, and it has a pretension of fighting the other two, meaning if you oppose the other two, you may side with it. We see this today. We see Protestants siding with Catholics in the "culture wars", and some Catholic bloggers even pine for the days of the crusades, openly.

These Three are under one and the same evil direction, and act with unity of effect, though to unreflecting persons they may seem to be in opposition to each other. Strategically, they are a most clever combination; for a person who may seem proof against the machinations of the one may yet fall all the more easily un-der the seductions of the other; or a person may be loudly condemning the doings of the spirit of Infidelity who all the while is working strenu-ously in the service of the spirit of Priestcraft or Popery, and so is aiding the general effect. The purpose of the Three Unclean Spirits is to seduce and to gather to-gether the Powers of the world — as Ahab was seduced by a lying spirit to go to Ramoth-Gilead to fall there — in antagonism against Christ’s truth and people, for the great and final conflict.

This is not a classic, just an individual who has some of his own interpretations thrown in, but it is historicist, and he may have one or two interesting insights. He notes the language, of using a Hebrew word Armageddon (or Har Meggido) for WW II and says it may denote the perishing of so many Jews in the Holocaust.

He also noted the Greek/Hebrew words used for the outpouring the smoke from the pit, followed by the locusts, and stated it designates that the Arab Muslims who went forth conquering on their horses like a swarm of locusts hurt both Jews and Greek Christians. That's because Abbadon is Hebrew and Appolyon is Greek. The spirit that came up from the pit in the black smoke, just before the locust swarms, was dubbed Abbadon/Appolyon.

The author has a few other iffy interpretations, but I thought those insights into the language were very interesting insights. Just a suggestion to "meditate on the Word" and think about it.

"And the great city was divided into three parts"?

    https://nicklasarthur.wordpress.com/2013/08/08/the-empire-of-the-city/

The Vatican, London, Washington DC? Does this describe the NWO? This happened after WW II. If, in historicism, WW II was Armageddon, then the NWO that was formed after WW II could well be that great city divided into three parts.

Then when Babylon is judged, for one last time, it will not just mean the judgement of the Vatican and the RCC. It will mean the judgement of the NWO.

Could this be happening now, as the NWO fractures with Brexit and "America First"?

That would be one more way of thinking about "divided into three parts".

    Maybe -- or maybe not.

Revelation 16:18-21 King James Version (KJV)

18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

RayB got it wrong! It is the Christian religion that is demonstrably false. Christian are brain washed morons. The earth is not flat, disk shaped, and "shall never be moved." The earth is moving very fast around the sun. The Bible's Old Testament "God" lied, this is a scientifically discovered fact. Christians are anti-science because science discovers truths that proves the Bible message to be an evil supernatural hoax.

The first humans came forth on earth around 300,000 years ago in Africa. For hundreds of millions of years before humans came forth on earth this world was populated with animals. It was, at that time, a brutal violent world full of death and corruption. It is a scientifically discover face, based on decades of research and scientific evidence, that the first human ("Adam") did not sin, causing the creation "to fall into the bondage to corruption."

In spite of this evidence, multitudes of Christians continue to choose to live in their religious fantasy world. They are so delusional they do not even know what the New Age is about.

    ReplyDelete
  128. "They are so delusional they do not even know what the New Age is about."

Not true. I used to be somewhat of a New Ager, although I was never a reader of Theosophy, more just drifting towards the general ideas that Marilyn Ferguson wrote about in The Aquarian Conspiracy.

I used to meditate daily. I cut it down to once daily rather than twice daily. The reason why was because I learned that when I meditated in the evening, I always had sleep disturbances. One time I thought I fell out of bed in the night and tried to crawl back in. Then I was aware of my body and my husband's body in the bed, and somebody else there, who I had to displace to get back into my own body.

Another time I woke up feeling like something had lifted me up from underneath my armpits and was carrying me up, backwards -- and I exercised my will power to break out of the hold and get back into my body in bed.

I have no idea of the ontological status of my perceived experiences; it can only describe what it seemed like to me.

Moreover, I began to dream of demonic animals, as well as aliens and space ships. The first demonic animal I dreamed of was a huge black panther head disembodied, with a mouth wide open, snarling, trying to eat me in a dream, as I walked up the stairs in my house and got halfway up -- as far as the landing in the middle.

Next I had a series of dreams about enormous black snakes trying to get me. In one dream, I climbed up to the top of a tree in my yard to attempt to escape the giant black snake trying to strike at me, but the tree was not tall enough. Then a space ship beamed me up to rescue me, and I woke up with my left nostril bleeding.

It would be tedious to detail the many nightmares and bizarre dreams involving demonic animals, aliens and even a demonic shape shifting robot.

Once I stopped meditating every morning, all of these strange dreams stopped for good, never to return.

In contrast with these demonic nightmares and sleep disturbances were my prayer experiences and experiences of miracles after coming home to God, the true God, again, whose only mediator is Jesus Christ who came in the flesh. In Alaska, I hit a moose in my compact Subaru, and she towered over me, falling toward my windshield, just about to crush me. Suddenly she was lying down by the side of the road with her legs tucked underneath her, in an upright position. She remained completely still for about two minutes before getting to her feet.

My son was drowning in Resurrection Creek in Hope, Alaska. Immediately after I prayed he was pulled out by a salmon fisherman. It was only the most dramatic of many prayer experiences in Alaska.

Try it sometime. Go there, to Alaska, and feel what it is like to be on your own in God's country, and take risks, and pray to God with a sincere and open heart.

Have you ever tried it? If you have never tried it, then I can say to you:

Don't knock it until you try it.

Put away the books. Get away from the computer screen. Go into the wilderness. Knock on the door to Jesus Christ, and He will respond.

Have you ever tried to do this? If you have never tried it, then what do you know? How do you know it?

Coronavirus and the 2020 campaigns: Pandemic altering 2020 election in fundamental ways

Here's a roundup of how the virus is impacting the election cycle.

The unprecedented nature of the rapid spread of the coronavirus has, in many ways, fundamentally altered the current phase of the 2020 election cycle.

So far, at least 1,323 cases of novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, have been confirmed in the United States Thursday as more events are canceled across the country. Thirty-eight people have died in the U.S.

The U.S. now has the eighth-highest number of cases worldwide.

For some of the 2020 candidates, the pandemic has meant canceling events, hosting "virtual" versions of others, and a host of other changes. For other candidates, events continue as planned as they consult with public health officials.

Here's how the election cycle is rapidly changing.

Upcoming Dem debate moved from Phoenix to DC

The Sunday night Democratic debate – the first to feature former Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders head-to-head – will now move from Arizona to CNN's studios in Washington, DC.

The debate will be held at CNN's studio and will not have a live audience.

Univision anchor Jorge Ramos has decided to no longer moderate the debate because he said he was "in proximity with someone who was in direct contact with a person that tested positive for coronavirus," the DNC added.

"Ramos and the person he was in contact with are in good health and symptom free," the DNC said.

Ramos was cleared by medical professionals but made the decision "out of an abundance of caution," the DNC said.

Trump reelection now shifts to "virtual events" following ABC News report

Meanwhile, amid the ongoing novel coronavirus threat and fears of the virus spreading in the U.S., and as President Trump has temporarily canceled campaign events, his campaign and the Republican National Committee is now shifting all current events on the schedule to virtual, RNC officials tell ABC News.

Details of how the RNC plans to shift events online were not immediately available.

The move came late Thursday following the publication of an ABC News report detailing hundreds of events that were staled to take place starting on Friday. Trump's behemoth ground operation, a joint effort between the RNC and the campaign named Trump Victory, had planned an in-person "national week of training," with events across the U.S., including in states that have declared a state of emergency -- such as Florida and Colorado.

His robust reelection ground operation has planned to hold nearly 500 events across the country starting Friday.

Trump's behemoth ground operation, which is a joint effort between the Republican National Committee and the campaign (Trump Victory), had planned "national week of training" set to begin Friday with events taking place across the country (including states heavily impacted by the virus) —and as of now, the campaign events are moving forward as normal, two Republican sources tell ABC News.

How Italy’s lockdown has affected Vatican City (This headline was altered from its original, which had read: "Coronavirus Sends Italy into Lockdown: Vatican City Left Empty")

As the whole of Italy goes into total lockdown due to coronavirus, Vatican City – the city-state landlocked by Rome – is feeling the impact.

The Vatican Museums has closed and mass services will be suspended in Vatican City as Italy announces a drastic shutdown to stop the spread of coronavirus.

Vatican City, the tiny city-state that’s landlocked by Rome, has one confirmed case of the virus but will enforce its own precautionary measures after the Italian Government’s announcement of a countrywide lockdown amid its rising virus death toll.

The Vatican Museums, a major tourist destination that houses some of the world’s most renowned Renaissance artworks, including Michaelangelo’s The Creation of Adam in the Sistine Chapel, will be closed until April 3.

“Having acknowledged the Decree of the Prime Minister of the Italian Republic … we would like to inform you that, for precautionary measures, from today the Vatican Museums will remain closed to the public,” a statement from the museum said on Monday.

The catacombs under St Peter’s Basilica are also closed to the public.

The Basilica itself is still open but visitors are being asked to keep a distance of about a metre from each other.

Meanwhile, in almost unprecedented decision, public Catholic mass services will be suspended in Rome and the Vatican until April 3 – a week before Easter.

Pope Francis has resorted to live streaming daily mass from his Vatican residence, Casa Santa Marta, with only a few people allowed in the chapel with him.

“Pope Francis made this decision so as to be closer to those who are ill, in quarantine or, for whatever reason, unable to leave their homes,” Holy See spokesman Matteo Bruni said.

The Pope, who appears to have recovered from a recent cold, will also avoid meeting large crowds during the lockdown period.

It is unclear what public masses will go ahead during Holy Week in the lead-up to the Easter weekend, the holiest time of the year for Catholics.

Crowds have disappeared across Vatican City, a major daytrip destination for tourists in Rome.

The usual long queues outside the Vatican Museums have gone, and the St Peter’s Square, the massive plaza in front of St Peter’s Basilica, is eerily empty.

NO END IN SIGHT Europe is new coronavirus epicentre and has more cases a day than China at its peak, WHO warns

    Breaking

    Dan Keane

    13 Mar 2020, 16:16Updated: 13 Mar 2020, 20:45

THE World Health Organisation has said Europe is now the "epicentre" of the global coronavirus pandemic.

Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the WHO Chief, said that the number of deaths surpassing 5,000 was a "tragic milestone" and that it is "impossible" to predict the peak of the deadly virus.

The WHO chief told reporters in Geneva this afternoon that it was time for the world to respond seriously to the virus.

He said: "More cases are now being reported every day than were reported in China at the height of its epidemic.

"Our message to countries continues to be: you must take a comprehensive approach.

Francis’s cold (not coronavirus) beckons thoughts on papal health scares

"Historically, the most reliable way to destabilize a monarchy, whether of the secular or ecclesiastical sort, is to suggest that the king is ill. Traditionally, therefore, the Vatican is extremely reluctant to acknowledge that a pope is ill, fearing that it will induce a fin de régime scramble for power and turn the sitting pope into a lame duck."

Is the dynasty of the Jesuit Superior General the False Prophet within historicism prophecy interpretation -- the other horn of the two horns of the two-horned beast -- with the first horn of the two-horned beast being the Antichrist (Vicar of Christ, same word in English) dynasty of Popes?

The harlot no longer rides the ten horned beast, the way the RCC held the reins of the Holy Roman Empire during the historical tribulation, which lasted for 1,260 years.

The two horned beast is a little bit different than the ten horned beast. It is much more mysterious, with the "mystery Babylon" aspect much more secretive.

The RCC can no longer afford to be openly violent and forceful, although on paper, she still retains the right under herself to kill heretics. This is why the Jesuits wage war through deception more than through open Inquisition.

"The great city" is no longer just one city, Rome containing Vatican City. It has been split in three -- Washington DC, London and Rome. This occurred after WW II, which was Armageddon. It occurred as a part of the development of the NWO.

The Jesuit Superior General, or the Black Pope, heads the Jesuits. The Jesuits, in turn, control the tripartate great city. The White Pope is responsible for PR and is the ecclesiastical figurehead, while the Black Pope handles the other two branches of the great city, which include the financial branch headquartered in London and the military branch headquartered in Washington DC (at the Pentagon).

The Jesuits are adroit and sleight of hand, causing people to look at elite international Jewry instead of at the RCC and the Jesuits throughout history and continuing into the present. Just look at all the Roman Catholic "traditionalist" bloggers who are relentlessly anti-Semitic. Are all their facts wrong? No, but it is not just what is said, but also what is left out, the forms the overall narrative. The narrative is missing a few major pieces.

Isn't it interesting that some Catholics also appear to be heavily involved in the very slickly produced social media regarding "celebrity Illuminati"? Why would that be? Certainly celebrity occult business can be foul, but who is more dangerous -- the wolf in wolves clothing or the wolf in sheeps clothing? Could the wolf in sheeps clothing be trying to scare us away from the wolf in wolf clothing and run right in his direction?

Any topic may be written about by poor scholars and good scholars, by shills or by true journalists, by con artists or by intellectually honest authors. The topic of the Jesuits is no different. It may be a topic made notorious by conspiracy theorists such as Eric Jon Phelps, author of Vatican Assassins. But it is also a topic with its more reputable authors such as Rene Fulop-Miller, who wrote, The Power and Secret of the Jesuits.

Do New Agers and Theosophists express hatred of the RCC? This does not make the enemy of our enemy into our friend. Nazis expressed hatred of Bolsheviks. More discernment is necessary. We must rise above "us vs. them" thinking and look at two primary sources: 1) The Holy Bible and 2) history. The truth is out there, and it is hiding in plain sight. It has been hiding in plain sight for many centuries.

Many of us will have more time on our hands in the aftermath of the coronavirus outbreak, working from home, staying away from events, etc. Perhaps we could use some of this time to read about the Jesuits and weight and consider the evidence regarding them.

“I have learnt most of all from the Jesuit Order. So far, there has been nothing more imposing on earth than the hierarchical organization of the Catholic Church. A good part of that organization I have transported direct to my own party. The Catholic Church must be held up as an example. I will tell you a secret. I am founding an order. In Himmler [who would become head of the Nazi party] I see our Ignatius de Loyola [Jesuit founder].”

Coronavirus (CoVid-19) vs The Spanish Flu: Let's Compare the Facts

    endtimesforcaster.blogspot.com Friday March 13, 2020 Post

    ReplyDelete
  154. The oft used phrase "God works in mysterious ways" is true. Here is just one of countless illustrations:

Reading the above post regarding the comparisons between the Coronavirus vs the Spanish Flu, I was reminded of some family history.

Back around 1916, my wife's Grandfather was working for a company in the Midwest when he was caught embezziling funds. Before his arrest, he fled to Chicago, leaving his family behind. While in Chicago, he realized what a mess he made of his life and seriously contemplated suicide. Somehow, he ended up at Chicago's City Mission where, by God's Grace, he heard the Gospel and subsequently turned his life over to Christ and trusted in Him. He returned home to his family, turned himself in to the authorities, confessed to his crime and made full restitution to the company. The officers of the company were so impressed with the "changed" man's sincerity that they decided against pressing criminal charges.

Not long after that period of time, in 1918, his pregnant wife and he both contracted the very deadly Spanish Flu. He died, but his wife survived, eventually giving birth to my wife's Mother.

Incidentally, much has been posted here in the recent past concerning "faith without works is dead," etc. I think my wife's Grandfather's actions is exactly what is meant by "works" of faith. When God redeems a soul and restores it through the New Birth, its result is always CHANGED lives. In the illustration above, although facing possible prison, this man voluntarily confessed his crime, made restitution, was restored to his family, etc., ALL because of a changed life through Christ. True faith produces the "substance of things hoped for." It produces the "evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1) Religion, on the other hand, boasts for proof of its "fruits" slavish obedience to man made rules and regulations.

When Christ sets a person free, He sets them free from the BONDAGE of the self-centered sin nature. In contrast, religion allows a person to maintain his/her sin nature, while seeking to "please" God by following what they claim to be faithful the sacrifices that are associated with their religion, i.e., keeping OT ordinances, man made rules and commandments, attending Mass, keeping "holy days," obeying the hierarchy, unquestioning authority, etc., etc.

It seems we are entering into a period of time that will truly "test men's souls." Are you ready to meet this challenge? Are you REALLY trusting in Christ? "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Phil 4:19
    Do you really believe that?

    1. Stephen King novel and movie, "The Stand."
    2. The 4th seal of Revelation: The Rider on the Pale Horse.

My paternal grandmother who lived to be nearly 100 and died in 1989 used to recount to me her memories of the 1918 pandemic of the Spanish Flu.

We are in sobering times indeed.

Am I sensing someone wanting to stifle debate and deny the facts in the various orbital exhibits on board, blaming any exposure of the Jesuits and their sychophants as being the work of, "Bro' Eric"? Firstly, casting aspersions of a nature laden with false accusations as to whom the posters here are, and secondly, (in mischievous tandem with the first), then starting the ignition of such false accusations through misappropriation of argumenta ad hominem, is hardly a dismissal of the facts posted, now is it! No, I am not Eric Phelps.

Now a certain person may be right in their claims of "Bro' Eric", however, the credibility of such coming from such a person is hardly credible when one, it would appear, has employed subterfuge through unqualified editing and omissions when citing the late Walter Martin and others, despite whether or no one agrees or disagrees with what Dr. Martin asserted or no: a little dishonest of the said arbitrary editor ... methinks the lady doth project too much. I do hope threats of, "Exhibit A", and so on, will not now proceed from the certain person.

Luke 12:11 - 12:12 springs to mind here.

So far, I have only posted matter orbital to the point at hand, however, proofs pertaining to the ratio decidendi, central to showing the iniquity of the Jesuits themselves will soon follow.

Furthermore, do I sense the tone of one using Jesuitical ploy and malice in their "delicate" hacksaw approach when citing Dr. Walter Martin?

It reminds me of those deceptive words of the Jesuits, we were warned of by a devout Roman Catholic and ANTI-JESUIT, Antoine Arnauld , a French Parliamentarian, Counsel to King Henry IV of France, and prominent lawyer ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antoine_Arnauld_(lawyer ). This gentleman is not to be confused with another devout Roman Catholic writer of the same name, a Jansenist and son of the former, who also exposed the Jesuits ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antoine_Arnauld ).

The first Arnauld wrote (English translation - the French original may be supplied later.): https://tinyurl.com/wt2n3do

This book is in Gothic script. Magnifying the print helps to read it, also, some of it is available in plain text here: https://tinyurl.com/shk2c78

Don't worry, I shall post more pertaining to the centrality of the matter later.

So, seeing as much of the information "Bro' Eric" alludes to (and not very well, I might add), mixed with whatever else he talks of, is already in the domain for those who truly search to discover the utter wickedness of that society of devils, the Jesuit order, I would not be in the least surprised to discover that "Bro' Eric" (though I am not stating he certainly is) is in fact a Jesuit himself.

The Jesuits have a history of being most adept at deceiving the masses and for the last 200 years this almost 500 year old RC sect have adopted such deception most cleverly, either by disguising themselves as Protestant ministers or by pretending to expose the wicked deeds of the very society from whence they come, as a means to subvert and distract those truly seeking to expose them for the devils they are.

  162. Thomas Dullheimer, you have only to look at those who practice what they call new age as to do with a neo pagan and pantheistic and healing and pop type occultism to see that it is not all about alice abiley, though it is likely a conveybelt to that, bailey is more about a kind of politics with some demons gainian enough power to manifest the sort that seem angelic good disguisers Blavatsky in Isis Unveiled speaks a lot about paganism though she throws the ultimate goal as to do with ascended masters and suchlike, anon 8:31 defines the mark as spiritual, based on something in Ezekiel. But that mark is paraphysical, visible only to angels and Ezekiel given sight.

The mark of the beast is physical and VISIBLE because needed to to legally engage in commerce. That is evident from Revelation. Trying to fit Scripture into a preferred narrative instead of submitting your logic and narrative to Scripture, results in "spiritualizing" significant elements away. Babylon the Great's Name is called a mystery, but the mark is NOT.

No economic dealings with heretics is not the same thing. notice Revelation said NO ONE COULD BUY OR SELL WITHOUT HAVING THE MARK. That would only fit RC if the order had prevented RCers from economic dealings with RCers if they lacked a sign marked on them. In the Middle Ages if anyone was branded or anything it was the heretics not the RC supporters.

you people are DESPERATELY SCRAMBLING to fit Revelation into your narrative. Reveltation 11 does NOT describe the Temple as still standing. "Then the Temple of God was opened IN HEAVEN." vs. 19. Are you illiterate, or not even reading the bible for yourself just following some preset handed you?

Try reading that quora article, it shows the irresponsible and incompetent and dishonest approach in calculating Nero as 666 even more than I realized.

Vicar means instead of in the sense of appointed representative. the antichrist does not claim to represent but supercede Christ. totally different implications. Dave Hunt's book is just more romish garbage that prophecy centers in Europe not the Middle East.

Qanon dig UN NWO /_\ United Nations Luciferian Communism

"you will see" followed by "they will see" - good point. AD 70 Jerusalem surrounded by armies happened, not the rest. Jesus spoke of two distinct situations.

Jesuit role in eschatology theory is irrelevant: Rome doesn't fit the Rev. 13 stuff unless you twise and "spiritualize" as metaphorical what doesn't fit. What theory fits reality and Scripture? historicism or partial preterism.

"Croats attacked and ethnically "cleansed" Serbian towns and villages in what was Krajina, raping the girls and women in front of their families, as they slowly tortured and murdered
serbian Orthodox men and boys." actually this was more typical of the Serbs. Even their patriarch Pavle admitted sadly that the atrocity stories were true. basically, Serbs worst, Croats second and moslems third.

Serbs with some exceptions confuse nationalism blood and soil and fleshly living and holdover pagan customs with "Orthodoxy" and consider churches and monasteries "serbian cultural artifacts" and equate their people with Christ Himself. their iconography often is snivelling instead of normal Orthodox iconography showing courage and peace in glory after martyrdom.
Their major city velesz had NO HISTORY of that name it was given in the 1940s or so, and is named after a pre Christian underworld "god" who strongly resembles the devil.

Constance if you would be so gracious as to clarify two of your comments in the past, it would put my mind at ease. The comments seemed to indicate that you believe a Roman Catholic priest has the power to forgive sin. I certainly agree with you that the judging is to be left to God the Father. Just looking for a little clarification, if you would be so kind.

In 2009 after Ted Kennedy died, you commented that:

"I agree, Ted Kennedy's stand vis a vis abortion that was against his own church's very clear teachings. HOWEVER, I do not know where he was on this at the time he died, was it a sin he confessed?

The judging is to be left to God his father and God OUR FATHER"

"I don't know where Ted Kennedy was with God at the hour of his death and I suspect neither do you, but if he had a priest hear his confession and give him last rites, I rather suspect that will not make him automatically hellbound, Bro Eric and Jack Chick Alberto Rivera tracts not withstanding."

  168. First, I am not in any way, shape or form a follower of Jon Eric Phelps. I once read several chapters of his "Vatican Assassins" and gave up on it. IMO, while Phelps declares SOME truth, he is also "so out there" that he very well may be a Jesuit plant himself. The Jesuits have a long history of planting their people into visible positions in order to make opponents of the Jesuits (and or the RCC) look utterly ridiculous. Phelps certainly serves this purpose in spades.

Having said that, Constance made the following statement in her statement contained in her old link (which she posted above) regarding Phelps:

"The Nazis had a well known belief in these theories (i.e. "hollow earth and subtropical sub-earth Paradise"). Their dogmatic belief in them probably cost the Nazis a possible World War II victory. These are also known as the Hans Horbiger fire and ice theories. Hitler comissioned a fleet to float up to the Arctic waters where he believed a subtropical sub-earth paradise to exist. Of course, they went without winter gear and icebreakers . . . Nobody dared say, "but the emperor isn't wearing anything" . . . and the rest is history."

NOTE: I had to read this several times in order to grasp the meaning as to what Constance is attempting to say here. I have read COUNTLESS books on WW II history regarding the causes, effects, etc. Included in that vast material has been numerous books on the Nazis, Hitler's subordinates, along with of course, Hitler himself. I have never read a single thread of anything that even remotely suggests or supports such a preposterous belief. By claiming that "their dogmatic belief" in these weird theories "possibly cost the Nazis a possible World War II victory" is so absurd its literally laughable! I can't imagine how anyone could seriously make such a completely unfounded statement.

If there was ANY interest by Germany in Antartica, it was NOT because of some whimsical idea that a "subtropical sub-earth paradise" (Constance's words) existed. It WAS because the German Government was interested in obtaining sufficient amounts of WHALE OIL, which was at that time being used in the production of MARGARINE, which the German people consumed in large amounts. The plan was developed by Hermann Goering and was known as "The German Fat Plan." The expedition, and the plan, failed, and Hitler never returned to Antartica after this expedition. See the true history of it here:

    https://www.history.com/news/hitler-nazi-secret-expedition-antarctica-whale-oil

By the way, Germany lost WW II for reasons that could literally take up volumes to explain. Among those reasons is NOT because Hitler "sent a fleet to Antartica in search of a sub-earth paradise." In fact, HE NEVER EVEN SENT A FLEET THERE (unless you can call ONE SHIP a "fleet").

It REALLY bothers me when people make such reckless, unfounded claims because it tends to degrade the credibility of the messenger. Stick to truth along with verifiable facts when arguing against people like Phelps. Using similar unfounded claims such as Phelps employs and it ends up putting oneself into the very boat that you are attempting to sink !

Excepts from an article titled "God and the Great Angel" located at:
    https://www.theosophical.org/publications/quest-magazine/2196-god-and-the-great-angel

Who is the God we worship? Is he really the supreme creator of the universe, or merely an impostor or a fiction?

Such questions seem sacrilegious to believers, but they have been surfacing for millennia. The Jews contend that their God, Yahweh or Jehovah, is the Supreme Being, who deigned to communicate with them and them alone in the covenant at Sinai. Christians and Muslims, their spiritual descendants, have taken up the claim—while insisting that their revelations are the final and complete versions. All of these religions, in their dominant forms, insist that any other god either does not exist or is a demon in disguise.

Sometimes, however, the charges have been reversed to say that the monotheistic God of the Abrahamic faiths is not what he is claimed to be. One of them was H. P. Blavatsky. She writes: "If we are taken to task for believing in operating 'Gods' and 'Spirits' while rejecting a personal God, we answer to the Theists and Monotheists: Admit that your Jehovah is one of the Elohim, and we are ready to recognize him. Make of him, as you do, the Infinite, the one and the Eternal God, and we will never accept him in this character. Of tribal Gods there were many; the One Universal Deity is a principle, an abstract Root-Idea which has nought to do with the unclean work of finite Form" (Secret Doctrine, I, 492n) Blavatsky is not denying that the God of the Abrahamic religions exists; rather she is saying that, contrary to what these religions claim, he is not the sole and unique Supreme Being.

Anonymous (9:38 AM) said...Thomas Ivan Dahlheimer...Do you deny that the New Age religion contains pantheism? You said it was Hindu. Isn't the Hindu religion pantheistic? If you believe "god" is in everything, how is that not worshiping the creation, from the perspective of those of us who believe God transcends what He created?

God is above and beyond the creation and is Infinite, and this same God is in all of creation. This is the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox belief. This God does not manifest [as the creation,] so worshiping this God is not worshiping the creation, they are separate entities.

Before the universe came into existence God emanated/created another God-who then sinned against the Almighty God, causing this other God to have two manifestations. This God now manifests as the U/universe. It has a divine manifestation as light and a less-than-divine manifestation as the illusionary material world. New Agers and Hindu believe in the Almighty God and the God who manifest as light. We do not worship the earth or the material universe.

  173. As I recall, the Pope and his followers, for several years, have been spouting off about how we (sovereign nations) should all open up our borders and allow every person into our nations, unabated. The Pope went so far as to say that President Trump "could not be a Christian" because he believed in "building walls." The Pope went so far as to (wrongly) suggest that the "Holy Family were immigrants" when they ventured to Bethlehem. Of course, back to his own glass house, "His holiness" never said anything about tearing down the 80 foot high walls of the Vatican, but let's not get too awful picky.

During all of this controversy, I recall reading a number of articles that were all reporting that many of the illegal immigrants were bringing with them various diseases, including illnesses not generally seen in modern American society, such as mumps, measles, and tuberculosis, as well as others with influenza, scabies, and other skin diseases. Having read a book about 10 years ago regarding the potential for future "superbugs," I strongly believed that the health of Americans may very well be compromised due to the influx of illegal immigrants.

Now that we have a very dangerous pandemic that continues to spread, how do you "open borders" types feel now?

Do you still support the Pope's globalist, open borders policies, or has your faith been slightly shaken?

I'm an old guy, and not well versed in tech. So I don't know how to get the URL for this video that I think everyone who is 'watching' should watch. So, I just watched this video by Gregory Mannarino, on YouTube, dated March 15,2020. It's 17 minutes, and 42 seconds long. Please watch it. He says Friday the 13th was the day that freedom died, and capitalism died! He may very well be right. He also said all the Central bankers must be working for Satan.Im sure he's right about that. This is the set up for the mark of the beast. The central Banks will own the world, they are 'bailing out' everything! Everything,,,and if you want to buy, and sell, you know the rest! Resistance will be a death sentence. Modern Monetary Policy is the set up.

    https://www.biblestudytools.com/dictionary/worship/

    Worship [N] [E]

If Christianity is the transformation of rebels into worshipers of God, then it is imperative for the Christian to know and understand what constitutes biblical worship. One may always consult Webster's Dictionary for the precise meaning of worship (adore, idolize, esteem worthy, reverence, homage, etc.). Yet truly defining worship proves more difficult because it is both an attitude and an act.

Worship Ancient and Modern. Both the Old and New Testaments admit the possibility of false worship, usually associated with idolatrous cults and gross misconduct ( Deut 7:3-6 ). For example, the Canaanites practiced ritual prostitution and infant sacrifice under the guise of worship to gods like Molech and Baal ( Lev 18:6-30 ; 20:1-5 ), while Paul found little had changed in the practice of idolatrous worship in Greek Corinth of the first century a.d. ( 1 Cor 6:12-20 ; 10:14-22 ). The psalmist recognized the folly of such false worship, noting that those who make idols will be like them ( Psalm 115:2-8 ). The prophets, too, warned against idolatry, a fatal attraction for the people of God ( Eze 14:3-7 ). Sadly, the biting sarcasm of these divine messengers, who decried images with plastered eyes that had to be nailed to shelves to prevent them from toppling over, fell on deaf ears — as deaf as those of the idols they had fashioned ( Isa 41:5-7 ). In the end, of course, these "stumbling blocks" of wood, stone, and precious metal overlay could not save Israel ( Isa 44:17 ).

The antidote Jesus commended in his discourse with the Samaritan woman remains the best preventive against false worship ( John 4:23-24 ). All true worshipers must worship God in "spirit and in truth." That is, true worship takes place on the inside, in the heart or spirit of the worshiper (cf. Psalm 45:1 ; 103:1-2 ). Worship pleasing to God must be unfeigned and transparent, offered with a humble and pure heart ( Psalm 24:3-4 ; Isa 66:2 ).

But this is not enough. Worship "in truth" connects the heart or spirit of worship with the truth about God and his work of redemption as revealed in the person of Jesus Christ and the Scriptures. David understood the importance of worshiping in truth and the necessary linkage between "truth" and the Word of God when he wrote, "Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear [i.e., worship] your name" ( Psalm 86:11 ; cf. Psalm 145:18 ). Here both the Old and New Covenants agree! The true worship of God is essentially internal, a matter of the heart and spirit rooted in the knowledge of and obedience to the revealed Word of God.

Ask yourself honestly what you think Jesus would say about the mark of the beast. Remember Jesus is the same one who told the Pharisees:

Would He say of you that you are without understanding?

Mark 7:18-23 King James Version (KJV)

    18 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;

19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?

20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

The indwelling of the Holy Spirit does not give us a heart of fear and anxiety.

    Fearing God Alone

    (Matthew 10:26-31)

4And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. 6Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? 7But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

    Confessing Christ

    (Matthew 10:32-33)

8Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: 9But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. 10And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven. 11And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: 12For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

I would add to the above:

    1) There is nothing wrong with prepping. Noah prepped.

    2) There is nothing wrong with self-defense. Jesus told the apostles who accompanied Him to Jerusalem to sell their cloak and buy a sword if they did not have one.

No matter what happens to you in this life, your eternal life is not in danger from what somebody forces onto your body, even if they force an implant onto you.

It's better for Christians to stay alive so they can be the salt of the Earth and a lamp in the dark.

But any Christian who is martyred is rewarded in the afterlife. Salvation is a free gift; but after salvation has been securred, reward in the afterlife can still be increased depending on what you do in this life. If you should happen to be martyred, you can be assured you will be rewarded. If you should happen to be the salt of the Earth and a lamp in the dark and to give your life to Christ to use as His servant and life a long life, you will also be rewarded for that.

No matter what happens, the message of Revelation is not that your soul will be in the hands of a Stephen King novel come to life.

Today ... there wasn't one single paper product to be found and the rest of the store looked wiped out.

The place was crowded with long lines and every register was open. I looked around and studied the faces and didn't see a single smile. Everyone seemed to have a distant, worried look on their face.

I made two more stops before returning home and it was the exact same experience.

It was really eerie .... just like some type of apocalyptic movie.

What is the Mark of the Beast?

    ...

The teaching that the mark is some sort of chip or ID card is a Jesuit teaching to take your eyes off the Papal Church of Rome being the antichrist beast of Revelation 13.

Forgive me for repeating this, but it is so important. How can God reject you, if you simply receive a form of worldly identity, via an ID card or some sort of technology, which could be FORCED upon you, but still continue to serve God in spirit and truth and keep His Commandments? It isn't possible. Please really think about it, the mark of the beast must be a RESULT of going against God and His law. What is sin? Lawlessness! ie, going against God's law, His ten commandments. (1 John 3).

Oh but the word "mark" in Revelation 13 means an ACTUAL mark!

Yes, and so do the words "beast", "dragon", "Babylon", "whore", etc. mean LITERAL beasts, dragon, Babylon and whore. But are we now to expect literal beasts roaming the earth forcing the world to worship them? And a literal whore riding a scarlet beast deceiving the world into following her?

We cannot base our belief on the fact that the word mark means a literal mark, because the book of Revelation is FULL of symbolic language.

ANN COULTER: CHEAP TVS, EXPENSIVE FLU
CHINA VIRUS AND THE TRUE COST OF GLOBALISM

Here’s a thought: While self-quarantining with their families in multimillion-dollar Manhattan co-ops, Wall Street wives ought to have a chat with their Master of the Universe husbands about China, globalism and political correctness. Those are the vectors of their robber-baron wealth.

Thanks to “globalism” — i.e., cheap goods from China — we’ve gotten many wondrous things, for example:

    — Toothpaste on American shelves made with a poison found in antifreeze.

    — Toxic Chinese drywall installed in about 100,000 U.S. homes, emitting noxious fumes that destroyed electrical wiring and metal fixtures and sickened homeowners. Replacement of the drywall, pipes and wiring cost Americans billions of dollars.

    — Hundreds, possibly thousands, of American dogs killed by melamine-laced Chinese dog food in 2007.

    — The loss of about 200,000 beautiful maple trees lining the streets of small New England towns, eaten by Asian long-horned beetles that arrived on Chinese cargo ships in 1996. The U.S. taxpayer spends hundreds of millions of dollars to eradicate the repeated outbreaks that continue to this day, despite promises from the Chinese to do better.

    — Viral pandemics — H1N1 (from China), bird flu (from China), SARS (from China) and now the Wuhan virus (from China).

Is it really worth paying $3 for a T-shirt at Walmart, rather than $9? The precise reason Chinese goods are so cheap is that they skip the crucial quality-control step.

The media’s reaction to this latest pandemic out of China is to say …

LET’S GET ONE THING STRAIGHT: THE CHINESE HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!

I just checked the CDC website. From January 21 thru today, 7,038 infected and 97 deaths. Two things disturb me about these stats - 1) There was an asterisk saying these numbers are a combination of confirmed and presumptive cases. 2) The stats do not tell how many of the infected were hospitalized. Many first hand accounts tell of infected individuals simply staying home. The symptoms not bad enough to warrant hospitalization. Why are our leaders willing to destroy our economy, force people to lose their livelihoods, homes, delay their education and cause overall state of chaos based on an insignificant number? When will we realize this is the greatest friggin' overreaction in history?

Delingpole: Chloroquine Known as Effective Against Coronavirus Since 2005

The world economy is collapsing because of the terror and mounting death toll caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. But the anti-malarial drug chloroquine is effective both as a prophylactic and treatment for the virus – and the medical establishment has known about this since at least the SARS coronavirus outbreak in 2005. What the hell is going on?

Yesterday, I reported the existence of three studies, all claiming that chloroquine phosphate had proved effective in treating the COVID-19.

This has since been confirmed by a more recent open-label non-randomised clinical trial in France by Didier Raoult M.D/Ph.D et al, completed just days ago. The sample was small but the results were convincing.

    As the summary reports:

100% of patients that received a combination of HCQ and Azithromycin tested negative and were virologically cured within 6 days of treatment.

In addition, recent guidelines from South Korea and China report that hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine are effective antiviral therapeutic treatments for novel coronavirus.

But the story gets more extraordinary still. It turns out that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has known since at least 2005 that chloroquine is effective against coronaviruses.

In 2005, Martin J Vincent et al published a study in Virology Journal titled ‘Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread.’

"Ribera misquoted Daniel chapter 9 in his attempt to shift the focus away from the Pope.

One outstanding horror of Ribera’s work was to shift the focus away from the Papacy, but then he added insult to injury by taking the glory away from Jesus the Messiah."

Oh, what nonsense. Daniel is not speaking of Jesus in 9:27.
When Jesus warns the people in the temple that 'you will receive another one who comes in his own name' who was he speaking about? Don't tell me Bar Kochba either.

Christ warns 'When you SEE (see) the abomination taking place, run to the hills'.

Who provokes this abomination? The coming AntiChrist. Apparently, people on Earth will somehow be able to see this defiling taking place, perhaps by way of cameras streaming in the upcoming temple (since no man can enter save the priest).

Fear is being used to cause people to desperately look to government for help. 'Helicopter money', or universal basic income, will be the hook in the jaw. It is possible that the US, or at least the East Coast of the US, will be destroyed by the end of 2020. It appears based on Revelations 14 that Babylon (NYC and East Coast megalopolis) is destroyed before the mark of the beast is required to buy or sell. One scenario, the corona virus burns out by July, Javier Solana recovers from his version of the illness. He realizes that his time is short and coordinates with a new age believing general in charge of nuclear forces. Though things start looking 'up' in the US by the fall / winter of 2020, the East Coast is hit with a barrage of nukes in November/December 2020, opening the door for Javier Solana to take over European leadership by the renewal of the EU-Israeli seven year peace treaty in 2021.

Excerpts from an article on Catholic Family News, an anti-New Age traditionalist Catholic newspaper. The article is by a world renowned theologian and it is located at: https://catholicfamilynews.com/blog/2019/07/05/amazon-synod-poised-to-wage-total-war-on-catholic-faith-our-resistance-must-be-equally-forceful/#_ednref12

The Vatican document [Instrumentum Laboris] actually has its theologian of reference in the ex-Franciscan Leonardo Boff, the theologian who has been most coherent in developing liberation theology into indigenous “eco-theology.” In late 2016, he stated in a German-language interview of having helped Pope Francis write Laudato Sì.

Leonardo Boff seeks to defend himself from the accusation of pantheism, defining himself as “panentheist.” Panentheism (from the Greek πᾶν “everything”, ἐν “in”, θεός “God”) is the theological position which maintains that God is immanent in the universe but at the same time transcends it. The word was first proposed by Karl Christian Frederick Krause (1781-1832), a student of Schelling, Fichte, and Hegel. Panentheism denies the existence of a God Who creates the universe ex nihilo as something distinct from Himself,[H. P. Blavatsky, the Mother of the New Age Movement, wrote...the One Universal Deity (Almighty God) is a principle, an abstract Root-Idea which has nought to do with the unclean work of finite Form," or nought to do with the creation, a finite form.],  instead proposing a creation that is continual and “processual.” God is the “self-conscience” of the universe [this "God" is not the Almighty God, but rather another God, an emanated/created God that became the U/universe-because of its original sin], the universe which as it evolves becomes aware of its own evolution. He (God) [rather H/he (G/god), not the almighty God] “emerges from the global process of the world in evolution and expansion”; “he is immanent in the world, participates in its open process, there he reveals himself and enriches himself.”

Complexity exceeds the ability of the human mind to comprehend and control it. It was dramatized by the movie Jurassic Park and has been documented in books such as Blowback.

People may plan things. Whether their plans go the way they want is a different matter.

Many reactions to the coronavirus pandemic are slowing and halting globalism. Borders are closing. Global travel is drastically slowing.

Europeans may become more fertile. There is a condom shortage. One European nation told citizens to stay home and have sex during this pandemic.

Hollywood is going to lose a lot of money and is going to make far fewer films and shows.

Many things are starting to happen that are not exactly right out of the globalist playbook.

The dinosaurs are getting out of the fences (speaking metaphorically -- a reference to the chaos theory of Jurassic Park). I'm only using chaos theory in a mathematical sense, not in a mystical sense. It's just a pointer to lack of human omniscience and omnipotence. It doesn't have to be a New Age concept necessarily.

Yet in the chaos we know there are always those elites who try to make a new order out of the chaos. This time will be no different. Will their plans go as they would like? Time will tell.
