A very interesting upcoming Michigan speaking enagement -- for authors & also Elvis lovers??!!

Joseph Nofs is a Michigan teacher and event producer.  He has put together an upcoming event combining education and entertainment.  It will be held at the Black River Country Club in Port Huron, Michigan on August 3, 2017  There is a full dinner and "Las Vegas style" entertainment featuring a popular Elvis impersonator.  Mr. Nofs is a big friend and supporter of one of my favorite causes:   RIGHT TO LIFE!   He has asked me to be the speaker for the educational end of the program.  I will be giving information on the ins and outs of publishing and self-publishing as well as explaining my own work for the past 35 years.  I am honored to be asked by Mr. Nofs.  A close relative of his is a Michigan State Senator also by the name of Nofs -- Mike Nofs (Republican, Battle Creek, Michigan).  Mr. Nofs tells me that there is a hotel adjacent to the Country Club in case there are visitors coming in from out of state.  I don't want to end the discussion on my last post, but wanted to pass this information along to you.

"In the mid 1960s, Elvis got to know his personal hair stylist, Larry Geller. The two men would become very close friends. Geller, in effect, became Elvis’ spiritual guide.

"Geller was not a follower of Jesus. Instead, he was someone who followed new age ideas. His reading was vast, and he would give Elvis hundreds of books to read, from The Urantia Book, to works on Gnosticism, etc.

"Elvis reportedly would have thousands of 'spiritual' books shipped to him when he was on the road."
    ...
"If Tillery’s account is correct, Elvis’s views were more in line with universalism than with Christianity."
    ...
"No one knows what Elvis’ beliefs or relationship to God was at the moment of his untimely death. Only God knows.

"Did he return to his roots...and turn to Jesus Christ?"

  2. Yes, I'm aware and will make my audience also aware. Elvis got into both Blavatsky & Alice B>ailey. It's written up in the biographies about him. I believe the producer's notalgia was for his 60s era music. The person who recommended me for the stint is a local township trustee who's favorite uncle had read my book many years ago.

BTW I wasn't saying Elvis music/impersonators should be shunned, I was simply mentioning that Elvis apparently had New Ageish beliefs since you happened to mention his name in your headline of your New Age exposé blogspot column. That's all. He sang some great songs!

    "OZ,

No offense intended but really, this gets unnecessarily complicated and people have to keep switching back & forth between threads, so may I recommend simply putting such things as:

"A very interesting upcoming Michigan speaking enagement -- for authors & also Elvis lovers??!!

as simply another post in whatever is the current thread instead of starting a new one WHEN, as you said here:

  14. An article entitled "Watch Out World: Peace May Be Breaking Out!!" is located at https://worldbeyondwar.org/watch-out-world-peace-may-be-breaking-out/. I agree with Dr. Roger Kotila's comment on this article: "I admire this article. Alice draws a very exciting and inspiring picture. Would we be so lucky that Trump & Putin would go for a safer world? That’s why there’s a proposal for a Global Peace Summit circulating between peace activists in Russia and the US. Let’s get China, India, the European Union, and the UN Secretary General in the mix, perhaps including Pakistan and Israel.

But treaty-based agreements are too fragile when it comes to war and weapons of mass destruction. Next step must be a “new UN” under a real world constitution (Earth Constitution) to form a world federal union government with enforceable world law. Otherwise, any treaty agreements will soon fall apart due to the poison of unlimited, excessive sovereignty and lack of global law and order. There’s no sheriff in town at the global level."

GREAT IDEA! Too bad it didn't already happen way earlier, like starting in 1930 so if, say Hitler or Stalin got the top post, there would've been NO PLACE TO RUN TO! BRILLIANT!

  16. Yeah great idea.
It's just that none of it is based in reality. Just more silly people trying to play God.
Thomas thinks that there's NO WAY that a Global Government could possibly be corrupted,
as long as there's an "earth constitution with enforceable world law". LOL
So Thomas, who's going to enforce this law, and who will give them their marching orders?
Is everyone suddenly going to agree on everything once "peace breaks out"?
Will that be the "New UN", since the old one is ineffectual and has been for all these years?
In fact you'd be looking at something many times MORE CORRUPT that any single nation has ever been.
And the time it would take to become corrupt would be very brief.
The Bible shows us over and over, through hundreds of examples, that Humankind is corrupt to the core.
Your Utopian fantasy is a joke of the worst kind.
Thomas... Thomas... wake up dear, it's time to stop dreaming now.
To quote Bob Dylan; "_for there'll be no peace; and that war won't cease,
    until He returns. "
That HE is of course Jesus Christ, Thomas, the one that you completely ignore and reject.
Jesus is and always will be the Prince of Peace.

    That's really, really, weak.
_And then to try to invoke Biblical prophesy, of which these people know zero, nor care about at all, is just laughable.
Donald Trump is the "Little Horn' ?
You do realize that a horn is a symbol of power, right? The little horn of Daniel's prophesy comes into power despite having little to no power of his own. But you throw it out there that he's the little horn? At least make an effort to understand the book of Daniel a tiny bit before you throw that ridiculous LIE about him out there.
Donald Trump is the most powerful man on earth, and he was elected by the majority of the voters in the last election. Get over it.
Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, now there are a couple of true liars for you.
Actual treason oozes out of their greedy, disingenuous, anti-christian hearts.

  22. Dear Maxine Watters disciple,
    It's weak.
The speaker doesn't read or believe the Bible, yet he tries to use it to tear down Trump, whom God put in office. He has no credentials as a psychologist yet he loves terms like pathological liar, as if he knows what he's talking about. He doesn't prove anything. He's throwing anything and everything out there, hoping something will stick. The only thing that comes across is his hatred. He's trying to pander to Christians, but he fails because he doesn't know the author of the Truth.

"This matter is by the decree of the Watchers and the demand by the word of the holy ones; to the intent that the living may know that the most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to the basest of men." (Dan 4:17)

_ which is probably the biggest reason that Christians didn't spend all their energy and every waking moment of the Obama years trying to tear him down, even though they could see him moving in very un American ways. He gave and still gives aid to the enemies of the USA, to the tune of Billion$. He is a muslim and a communist; (okey socialist, communism's little handmaid.)
He is a globalist as are the Clintons, and they look forward to the ruination of America in order to usher in their new world order.
Billy boy actually quoted his guru Carole Quigley at his inauguration. Barack said in his auto biography that his mentor was his "uncle Frank" Marshall Davis; a card carrying Communist, a true blue America-hater.

The crimes of the Clintons and the duplicity of the muslim obama are their legacies. It's all about money to them. They have no
loyalty or love for the USA. They love money and power. Obama gave billions to muzzie causes, under the table and without the consent of the American people. He's a true traitor; a Manchurian Candidate.

    God bless Donald Trump!

  23. Hillary Clinton "won" the popular vote for several reasons.

#1 ... "illegals" voted in large numbers in a number of liberal states.

#2 ... Clinton won the popular vote in the wacko People's Republic of California by over 4 MILLION votes.

#3 ... Clinton won the popular vote in another major wacko state ... New York by more than 1.5 MILLION votes.

Take away these two socialist states (let alone crooked Illinois), and Trump crushes Clinton in the popular vote as well.

  25. Oprah Winfery is the most influential woman in the world and her spiritual guru is Eckhart Tolle, the most influential spiritual teacher in the world. In a youtube video Tolle says he is Spirit. He did not say he is the earth, nor did he say he is the cosmos, as do pantheists and some panentheists. Panentheists believe in a immanent and transcendent God, but some panentheists believe they are suppose to only become "One" with the immanent aspect of God, and that when they do, they will experience the earth and the whole cosmos as their body. New Age panentheists believe in an immanent and transcendent God, and they believe that on their way to becoming One with the transcendent Spirit beyond creation they will first "feel" like they are the universe.

David Spangler, one of the founding figures of the modern New Age movement, wrote: "The world soul is usually conceived as a 'formative force,' an active, intelligent, purposeful spiritual presence at work in the material world [it is immanent] to guide and guard the course of planetary evolution. It is generally not accorded the status of being the ultimate source, or Creator, but might be looked upon as a great angelic or archangelic being presiding over the well being of the world, or as the gestalt, the wholeness of all the lives and patterns that manifest upon, and as, the earth." New Agers do not worship the earth.

The New Age is a blend of Hinduism and Gnosticism.

Gnostics believe that because the "ultimate and absolute God," who is Spirit, emanated a deific being named Sophia, who in turn "emanated a flawed consciousness, a being who became the creator of the material and psychic cosmos" (who is referred to as "half-maker")" that, therefore, the "ultimate source, or Creator" (also known as the "authentic half") is the ultimate and absolute God, and that It (Spirit) is the ultimate source of everything.

Gnostics and New Agers believe that the Old Testament god (a different entity than Jesus's Father in heaven) is an emanated flawed consciousness, a being who became the creator of the material and psychic cosmos, a creation that was corrupt from its origins, as modern-day scientific discovery has confirmed.

Paramahansa Yogananda quoted his guru in his book Autobiography of a Yogi, "Christ’s claim, 'No man cometh unto the Father, but by me' (John 14:6), is a promise to all humanity, irrespective of creed. 'Jesus meant, never that he was the sole Son of God, but that no man can attain the unqualified Absolute, the transcendent Father beyond creation, until he has first manifested the 'Son' or activating Christ Consciousness within creation." - Swami Sri Yukteswar

God the Father is Spirit and He is in all of creation and It (Spirit has no personality nor gender beyond the creation) is also beyond the creation and is infinite. When people first become somewhat "One" with Spirit in creation they will experience themselves as the world soul, they will then feel like the universe is their body. This gives them the mystical experience of being one with the universe. At this stage they will have "manifested the 'Son' or activating Christ Consciousness within creation." But they will then eventually advance spiritually and lose all attachment to having a body to identify with. They will then become One with the Father in creation and also One with the "unqualified Absolute, the transcendent 'Father' beyond creation," the ultimate goal of New Agers.

Liane Cartman is the most influential woman in the world and her spiritual guru is Mr. Garrison, the most influential spiritual teacher in the world. In a youtube video Garrison says that after he became a woman after being a gay man and then became a gay man again he then realized that he had been unhappy because he had just not been gay ENOUGH. So he decided that NOTHING was GAYER than posting long, boring Wikipedia-like entries in various blogspots, about as mind-numbingly tiresome as this benchmark which he uses as the standard to judge by:

The 8-track tape (formally Stereo 8; commonly known as the eight-track cartridge, eight-track tape, or simply eight-track) is a magnetic tape sound-recording technology that was popular in the United States[2] from the mid-1960s to the early 1980s, when the Compact Cassette format took over.[3][4] The format is regarded as an obsolete technology, and was relatively unknown outside the  United States, the  United Kingdom,  Canada,  New Zealand,  Australia,  Germany and Japan.[3][4][5]

Stereo 8 was created in 1964 by a consortium led by Bill Lear of Lear Jet Corporation,[6]along with  Ampex, Ford Motor Company,  General Motors,  Motorola, and RCA Victor Records  (RCA - Radio Corporation of America). It was a further development of the similar Stereo-Pak four-track cartridge introduced by Earl "Madman" Muntz (marketing and television set dealer), which was adapted by Muntz from the  Fidelipaccartridge developed by George Eash. A later quadraphonic (four-channel sound as opposed to earlier more widely used stereo/two channel sound) version of the format was announced by RCA in April 1970 and first known as  Quad-8, then later changed to just Q8.

    History

The original format for magnetic tape sound reproduction was the reel-to-reel tape recorder, first available in the United States in the late 1940s, but too expensive and bulky to be practical for amateur home use until well into the 1950s. Loading a reel of tape onto the machine and threading it through the various guides and rollers proved daunting to some casual users—certainly, it was more difficult than putting a vinyl record on a record player and flicking a switch. Because in early years each tape had to be dubbed from the master tape in real-time to maintain good sound quality, prerecorded tapes were more expensive to manufacture, and costlier to buy, than vinyl records which could be stamped much quicker than their own playing time.

To eliminate the nuisance of tape-threading, various manufacturers introduced cartridges that held the tape inside a metal or plastic housing to eliminate handling. Most were intended only for low-fidelity voice recording in dictation machines. The first tape cartridge designed for general consumer use, including music reproduction, was the Sound Tape or Magazine Loading Cartridge (RCA tape cartridge), introduced in 1958 by RCA. Prerecorded stereophonic music cartridges were available, and blank cartridges could be used to make recordings at home, but the format failed to gain popularity.

    Development of tape cartridges

The endless loop tape cartridge was first designed in 1952 by Bernard Cousino around a single reel carrying a continuous loop of standard 1/4-inch, plastic, oxide-coated recording tape running at 3.75 in (9.53 cm) per second. Program starts and stops were signaled by a one-inch-long metal foil that activates the track-change sensor. (Bill Lear had tried to create an endless-loop wire recorder in the 1940s, but gave up in 1946. He would be inspired by Earl Muntz's four-track design in 1963.)

    https://www.project-syndicate.org/commentary/china-multilateral-institutions-threaten-us-by-javier-solana-2015-03?barrier=accesspaylog

"The West has failed to accord China – much less the other major emerging economies – the degree of influence over global governance structures that it merits. But this is about to change, because China has decided that it will no longer sit still for it."

Also Putin has hosted Solana and other EU leaders at his Black Sea Resort.

    https://www.rferl.org/a/1068647.html

    Solana said this about it:

"In an interview with the Interfax news agency, Solana hailed steps that he said would be taken to simplify visa procedures between Russia and the EU.

Solana said Russians coming to EU countries and EU citizens traveling to Russia 'will find it cheaper and easier to get visas.'"

  45. Somebody named Sander Faas wrote a paper with several other authors, entitled, "The Virtual Storyteller: Story Creation by Intelligent Agents."

    The abstract says:

"Abstract. The Virtual Storyteller is a framework for story creation by co-operating intelligent agents. In this framework, a collection of agents is responsible for the creation of different story levels: plot, narrative, and presentation. In the Virtual Storyteller, plots are automatically created based on the actions of autonomous characters whose plot creation is only constrained by general plot requirements. This approach lacks the disadvantages of pure character-based plot development, where the characters are fully autonomous, and of scripted approaches, where the plot content is pre-defined and the characters have no autonomy at all."

The idea of an apology to the Turkish leader is interesting because somebody wants to stir the pot with things the way they are at present between Trump and Erdogan.

Just who (?), well, that may prove very interesting, also. The diplomat of all diplomats (Solana) does like to (stir) steer things (from behind the scenes) and voice his big opinion (publically) from his "retirement" armchair.
The timing makes it noticeable, so maybe in a short time someone might tell us what's up....

A friend from my subdivision who is just discovering the ramifications of the New Age Movement graciously drove me. That was a blessing as I have been getting shots in both eyes for "wet macular degeneration" and I'm cautious now about night driving that is still too often necessary. The audience was very attentive and asked many intelligent questions. The Elvis act was not offensive -- a lot of good humor included and surprisingly included the gospel song "How Great Thou Art." A tiring, but not a bad evening. Port Huron is about a 70 mile drive from here or a 140 mile round trip.

  53. Lest we forget, vis a vis Solana and Erdogan, see the article I wrote a few years ago on this blog on the Alliance of Civilizations. Here are two links to it. It is obvious the News with Views version has been hacked -- look at all the strange characters viewing the content.

Fortunately, I had it on this blogspot as well and here is that link:

    http://cumbey.blogspot.com/2010/05/alliance-of-civilizations-gaining.html

Turkey made war on its Armenian population in the past and has consistently refused to acknowledge the genocide. It was the genocide that inspired Hitler to think he could get away with slaughter of the Jews because there had been no international outcry about the Armenians. Erdogan has threatened present day Armenians still brave enough to live in Turkey with deportation as reprisals for moves in the UN to condemn the Armenian genocide.

Solana tried to present Erdogan as a "man of peace" when as time and events have richly proved, he is not.

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2010/mar/18/turkey-threatens-expel-armenians-genocide

  57. https://www.enlightened-spirituality.org/panentheism.html

    New Age panentheism:

In the best definition of Panentheism, God transcends yet also immanently includes all beings as their true Identity, their Real Self, the only ONE who can affirm “I AM THAT I AM.” Thus, in pure Panentheism, God is beyond all beings/persons as their Source, and within all as their essential Substance. God is Spirit, God is Truth, God is Light, God is Love. These are our Biblical definitions of God, and notice that these terms “Spirit,” “Truth,” “Light,” and “Love” clearly connote a Supra-personal, not merely “personal” Divine Reality.

This Panentheism positing of a truly Supra-personal God or Divine Absolute easily takes us beyond the old false choice that we must choose between a “personal God” or “impersonal God.” This false choice is what too many Christian, Jewish, and Muslim clergy have tried to foist onto people who, for instance, begin to explore Western or Eastern mystical forms of religion and spirituality with a loftier conception of God than given in their non-mystical or anti-mystical institutional religions.

So let us deeply contemplate what our most eminent mystics are saying, after all. For they allow us to let God be God in the most sublimely grand and glorious manner: both transcendent and immanent, both Supra-personal and Personal. This God is the true Reality of Spirit, Love, Light and Truth Who is ultimately Formless, yet capable of manifesting as a beautiful personal Form for devotees, just as this God has [indirectly, as another emanated god, a less than divine expression of Its Self.] manifested so spectacularly as all creation. [note, a clarification: "This God" emanated a subordinate God who was a Divine Spiritual Universe and this Spiritual Universe then sinned which caused this Pure Spiritual Universe to become corrupted, which unfortunately caused it to physically manifest as all creation.] This God (or Absolute Godhead, Brahman, Buddhata, Dharmakaya, Tao) is the Absolutely Aware and also Conscious, Compassionate Context or Ground of Being—in Whom all of us “live, move and have our being,” as Paul wrote nearly 2000 years ago. This God is the “no-thing-like” Spirit and Origin of all “things”—and modern physics tells us quite clearly, along with mystics of sacred traditions, that all “things” are ultimately illusions, not truly solid, substantial, or permanent, just temporary forms of energy. God is the Source of all energy-matter and space-time."

  58. "Transcends but also immanently includes" -- Ken Wilber lingo. Wilber wrote incessantly about transcending but including in his book, A Brief History of Everything. This is one of his slimmer tomes, and it is a good introductory overview if you don't have hundreds of hours of time to read his thicker and more turgid books.

Wilber advocates for a new spirituality that is both immanent like the old Goddess religions and transcendent like the patriarchal, monotheistic religions. I'm using his concepts here, not mine.

Wilber has his very own, very idealized, very sanitized version of Tantra. His concept of Tantra is key to his concept of how to have a spirituality that is both immanent and transcendent. He even says this would make men and women equal for the first time in history.

Tantra is historically such a poisonous tree that it can't but produce poison fruit.

Just read The Shadow of the Dalai Lama to see what I mean.Free online here. Written by German scholars:

    http://www.trimondi.de/SDLE/Index.htm

Here is a hint, Tibetan Buddhist Tantra is nothing like either Ken Wilber's ideas or the ideas in the American Pie movies. It is surprisingly creepy if you're not familiar with what it really entails. The sexuality is not supposed to lead to male orgasm, and there is more than sexuality. There is also the consumption of gross things like feces. Girls as young as ten are brought in to the monks to stand in for the goddess and are then discarded to add to all the prostitutes surrounding the temple.

“'In those years, elderly Kurds began to share their memories of the Armenian genocide with their children and grandchildren. There were Kurds who protected their Armenian neighbors. But many people assisted the perpetrators by rounding people up or by killing them,' Baysal said.

'Many Kurds felt ashamed of that. I feel ashamed of it. I travel a lot, and when I meet Armenians, I always apologize for what the Kurds have done.'

Not all Kurds agree on the need to apologize to Armenians. Many Kurds argue that their ancestors who carried out the killings were merely bought by the state.

But Abdullah Demirbas, a Kurdish politician, says the Kurd’s own fight for freedom and national identity since the 1980s has helped them come to terms with their role in the Armenian genocide."

Giandomenico Picco wrote of the importance of negotiating with terror organizations which are comprised of both political and military wings. The United Nations believes once the political demands have been satisfied the terrorists will return to becoming peaceful and integrated civilians. In the context of Hezbollah what does that mean? The annihilation of Israel.

The real enemy, according to Picco, are religions which make “exclusive truth” claims. Picco called for a “global coalition of the sane” which would “be pursued across divides of all kinds and under a flag that would be recognized by all peoples to be their own…” Undoubtedly Picco was referring to the the UN Alliance of Civilizations of which he helped launch.

It is situated near the border with Turkey on the slope of Mount Aqraa, 800 meters above sea level.[2] According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics, Kessab had a population of 1,754 in the 2004 census.[1] Along with the surrounding villages, the sub-district of Kessab has a total population of around 2,500.[3]

  74. Another noteworthy vision Picco presented regarding the future of global democracy at the Club of Madrid's Alliance of Civilizations counter-terrorism forum was that national parliaments are to evolve: "no longer the monopolist of the voice of the people, nor of knowledge for the people, they may have to reinvent themselves." Picco presented a vision where national parliaments are to be replaced by NGOs, media, trade unions, etc. which, he states, better represent the voice of the people. Globalists call this direct democracy, participatory democracy, anticipatory democracy, etc.

One can almost smell the form of which the world constitution is taking.

  75. This is well worth the 25 minutes. Before viewing, you should know that I don’t agree with the all the views of Red Ice TV, nor do I agree with everything Jesse Lee Peterson says. Red Ice TV is pushing white nationalism, which is definitely a bridge too far for me. However, some of their points are well-argued (those not centered on white nationalism), and even if I disagree, I think some of their points should be heard. Peterson is a black pastor—among other things—who offers a moral, quasi-Biblical perspective, and who makes no bones about the problems in the black community (and others), and is a very vocal critic of Obama. He firmly believes whites should not have “white guilt”.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KgrWnZDTmo

How Should White People Respond to Anti-White Attacks? - Jesse Lee Peterson

Jesse Lee Peterson is an outspoken critic of the so-called “civil rights” establishment and “social justice” movements. Jesse grew up on a plantation in Alabama under Jim Crow. He moved to Los Angeles at 18, worked for 20 years, and created a cleaning business. At 40, Jesse founded BOND, a non-profit organization dedicated to “Rebuilding the Family by Rebuilding the Man.” He speaks in schools, universities, juvenile detention centers, jails, prisons, and churches. He’s a radio and television talk show host, media commentator, speaker, columnist, author, activist, pastor, and counselor.

Lana welcomes Jesse to the show for a lively discussion about how white people should respond to anti-white attacks. We begin by delving into the rationale for providing a free speech forum for those on the right of the political spectrum. Jesse quite rightly states that those espousing right-of-centre views are invariably attacked by the establishment; it takes intrepid independent media figures to seek out the truth. Jesse goes on to say that white people have been under constant attack and have been unjustly blamed for all the ills of the world. Our program goes on to explore the ways white people can articulate their group interests; the consequences of misidentifying whites as an enemy class; the causes of social decay in America; and much more.

  76. Craig,

I appreciate that you said you don't agree with all the views of Red Ice TV. And I agree that -- like with all types of propaganda, ideology or disinformation -- not everything stated is false or invalid. Even New Agers say valid things to critique materialism, after all.

Personally, I am uncomfortable with doing anything to encourage any association between Christians and white nationalists. Recently a Leftist on the internet said she always calls Christians KKKristians. This is what we're dealing with in terms of virulent anti-Christian stereotpyes.

It's a patently uninformed and unfair characterization of Christians, of course. Historically the Catholic church taught that it was a heresy to believe that non-white people are not descendants of Adam. The KKK has taught such heresies as that black people descend from Cain, who was the product of a sexual union of Eve and the serpent in the garden.

I noticed when I searched for the terms "red ice" and christians that one of the first results that was returned was this:

Pro-White Christianity & How Church Has Become Anti-White

    https://redice.tv/radio-3fourteen/pro-white-christianity-and-how-church-has-become-anti-white

I realize you were only highlighting things a black pastor said that seem positive, like rebuilding families and black manhood.

It's just that some people are quick to make the accusation that if you don't disavow things that you are complicit. And you did disavow the white nationalism, so thank you.

I just wanted to be clear about it for my part. Some people will say silence is complicity.

Also I know Constance has said before in her blog that the Bible teaches that all peoples are one blood. So I know where she stands, too.

  77. I also want to add that the alt-right (or alt-lite) is not always Christian-friendly. I have been reading Breitbart ever since Trump won the election, and that I have also watched a few YouTube videos from the (self-identified) alt-right (or alt-lite) like Lauren Southern. On Breitbart, a Christian audience is carefully courted. But that is not the case all over the alt-right (or alt-lite).

I read Lauren Southern's book, called Barbarians at the Gate. In this book, Southern had a chapter about Christians. She noted Evangelicals critiquing alt-right (or alt-lite) views. She said something along the lines of: We won't be too mad at them just yet, because *this time*, they had enough sense to support Trump. But they better not step out of line. Or we won't be so friendly and forgiving in the future.

Also, I did read Milo's piece on the alt-right, which Breitbart attempted to appropriate. And the emails Buzzfeed obtained showing exchanges between Milo and Bannon about the writing of the article.

(And I do also know that the first alt-right rejected the Breitbart and Rebel Media people and dubbed them the alt-lite.)

I'm not a naive commenter about this, so no need to educate me about the finer points of the definitions of the terms -- I'm familiar with the history.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Here is a video Lauren Southern posted to YouTube of herself speaking at the European parliament in protest of herself, Martin Sellner and Brittany Pettibone. In this video, she represents herself as a Christian.

I read Southern as a "cultural Christian" primarily concerned with defending Western civilization against a perceived alliance formed between the Left and Islam to destroy said civilization. Now, I think it was preposterous to ban her from the UK. But I also think she makes a poor ambassador for Jesus Christ.

She made it easier for the whole EU to associate the alt-right with Christianity. Regardless of whether or not that was her intention.

  80. Okay, I dug up Southern's book. It has been a couple of years since I have read it. It is called Barbarians: How Baby Boomers, Immigrants and Islam Screwed My Generation.

Here is an excerpt from the chapter in which she talks a lot about Christianity. It is Chapter 3 How Think-Tank Fogies Ruined Everything. She starts talking about Religious Globalists on p 32. She is framing it as a neo-con infiltration of the Religious Right. So it may be said she is not attacking Christians per se. But then a list of Religious Globalists "sins against the right" follows.

Southern writes, "They have openly expressed leftist-tinged contempt for a nationalist-oriented right, calling it 'tribal, cruel and very dark indeed'." This was written by Ron Dreher, and she quoted him out of context. Here is a link to his article:

    https://www.theamericanconservative.com/dreher/trump-post-religious-right/

"He has gathered and unleashed forces that will be extremely hard to put back in the bottle, if they can be at all. This is what the Right whose passions are untempered by Christianity looks like: tribal, cruel, and very dark indeed."

So that is only one example. I know nothing about Ron Dreher, but I agree with his full quote here.

Maybe he is a Never Trumper and a Globalist and a neo-con. I don't know. If so I may disagree with him about a great many things -- but I do still agree with him about the characteristics of the non-Christian right.

And one more quote from Southern It starts on p 32 also. "They have whined when right-wing politicians appeal to the pride of voters because 'Christianity is a religion of losers.'"

Here is the full context, which again she neglected to provide.

    https://www.firstthings.com/article/2016/08/donald-trump-man-of-faith

"Christianity is a religion of losers. To the weak and humble, it offers a stripped and humiliated Lord. To those without reason for optimism, it holds up the cross as a sign of hope. To anyone who does not win at life, it promises that whoever loses his life for Christ’s sake shall find it. At its center stands a truth that we are prone to forget. There are people who cannot be made into winners, no matter how positive their thinking. They need something more paradoxical and cruciform."

So, Southern describes her Christian values to the EU, but she takes issue with the above paragraph. I don't prefer the very first sentence in the above quoted paragraph, but I recognize that it was written in a semi-shocking way to get one's attention and to be defiant, followed by making some pretty good points.

    ReplyDelete
  81. This is one more quote from Southern in the same chapter:

"Let's be clear. The vast majority of religious conservatives didn't sign on for this kind of whining, weak-kneed, Christ-As-Social-Justice-Warrior style politics. Which is yet another reason it's such a relief that the nationalist right came along and made these self-appointed Religious Globalists pound sand.

They will not be the first. The entire right is now ready to end the dark days of the neoconservative chess club running the right wing, and of their Religious Globalist allies acting as their Junior Anti-Sex League. The neocons can whine all they want, but the new nationalist right is not willing to keep letting in the dregs of the Third World because the globalists want to fill their pews, or the coffers of their corporate donors. And we're not going to pretend religious freedom or multiculturalism takes primacy over everything if it permits Jihadists to enter our country."

Notice how, just like the terrorists can be used as an excuse to be spied upon, they can also be used as an excuse to take away freedom of religion?

  82. Lana Lokteff, the innocent-looking but not too innocent-looking blonde who interviews people for Red Ice TV, features this quote at the top of her web page featuring an interview of hers, titled, The Metaphysical Dimension of Racial Awareness.

    https://volkischpaganism.com/2014/10/25/lana-lokteff-the-metaphysical-implications-of-racial-awareness/

    "Völkisch Paganism

This is an attempt to glamourize Nazism, but I suspect it is actually controlled opposition, anyway. But I can see why one may not agree with him about everything. One of his videos is entitled, "Thank God for Slavery". I thought, well, maybe the title is click bait. It was only about ten minutes long, so I watched it.

But he actually said, when asked by a caller if he thinks slavery is a good thing, "Yes," without a smile or a trace of irony. He went on to explain that in the past, the reason why he said, "Thank God and white people for slavery," -- which is the same thing white supremacists say -- is because it allowed black people to be born in America, the greatest country on this side of heaven. He said without joking, "We were allowed to be born here rather than sneaking across the borders or having to fill out an application..."

A couple minutes later, his listener asked him why he likened a slave ship to a crowded airplane. That was not treated as a farce or a joke, either. He didn't acknowledge the point his listener made that so many slaves died on the slave ships. He said callously that people can die on airplanes, too.

Then he challenged his caller with a question very quickly. "Which is better? To show your appreciation, or to complain?"

  87. J,

I stand by my recommendation to view that particular Red Ice TV vlog, given the disclaimer I placed on it. To provide an analogy, I may recommend a particular theologian, but this does not mean I support everything s/he writes, nor does it mean that I agree with their positions (if I’d even know) on socio-political issues. Because I’d seen others get ‘called out’ for this or that, on my own blog I wrote this general disclaimer:

I would also like to state that the references and links on this site do not necessarily reflect in total my particular theological views. This includes my blog roll. If I feel a particular reference has merit I may use it regardless of a particular view of said individual or source which may be controversial. Just because someone is wrong in one area does not mean they cannot be right in other areas. In addition, I may quote a source not even knowing the full theological views of said source.

For example, there are some who think we can only reference Thayer’s Greek Lexicon over against the now-standard (and vastly superior) BDAG, because the latter was initially based on Walter Bauer’s lexicon, and Bauer propounded a very controversial view regarding 1st century Christian growth. Now, I think Bauer was wrong in that work, but his lexicon was much more complete than Thayer’s, and the subsequent editions were significantly expanded and refined—and these new editions came well after Bauer’s death. And Thayer’s is not without controversy in some areas. Plus, it’s very dated, as it does not include the evidence discovered later in the Greek papyri.

The vlog I referenced reflects a candid discussion on the issue of anti-white sentiment, which has been promoted in our schools for decades, and is seemingly growing at an exponential race. As a black man, Peterson can express his anti-anti-white views without the charge of “that’s rayciss!” from liberals. And I’m nearly to the point where I don’t care if radical leftists wish to mislabel me as such—because they do it anyway. Our liberal universities are teaching that only whites can be racist, and all whites are, in fact, racist inherently. And Jeong is a product of this.

When these leftists are routinely calling blacks and Mexican-Americans “Nazis”, just for wearing a MAGA hat, then we know these terms are devoid of real meaning anyway. They’re just employing Alinsky tactics.

Also, I like Lauren Southern—even though I don’t agree with some of her positions. Her documentary on South Africa titled Farmlands is excellent. I don’t like what she did in Great Britain—the incident that got her banned from the country. I think she could have made her point in a different way.

As a mother with the God-given responsibility to bring to holiness seven children and share in the responsibility of 26 grandchildren, I am dismayed to hear Pope Francis’ recent statement that some of the homosexual activities within seminaries are “sins of youth” and “not crimes.” When the sin is against youth, and power by elders is involved, this seems to be a crime against youth.
    ...
For the seduction and introduction into disgusting homosexual practices of young seminarians who have entered the seminary with the highest vocations, Cardinal Theodore McCarrick and others like him are due the punishment of the millstone.

Instead, McCarrick was elected to lead the ‘investigation’ into ‘abuse’!
    ...
That an entire generation of young vocations following the call of St. John Paul II to renew the Church with a fresh vision of the Gospel message should have been pressured, seduced, convinced to lower themselves to revolting, lewd practices as they slowly accepted that these must be a part of priestly life … is a horrific crime!

It is a crime against the youth.

It is a crime against families who entrust their children and their very souls to those priests.

It is a crime against the Church.

It is, worst of all, a crime against God.

  98. This is interesting. This is the very first time I've seen a piece by Breitbart that puts Pence in the spotlight and builds up his image, with an actually good picture, too.

Space Force Is Here: Vice President Pence Announces Sixth Military Branch
    https://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/08/09/space-force-pence-military-branch/

    The Space Force is here.

Vice President Mike Pence announced Thursday that the Pentagon is beginning the process of creating a sixth branch of the United States military dedicated to space that will be known as the Space Force.

“The time has come to establish the United States Space Force,” Pence announced in the Pentagon auditorium filled with more than 350 service members and civilians.

Pence compared the creation of the Space Force to the creation of the Air Force at the start of World War II."

This article is the very second headline on Breitbart at this time today. This article building up Pence comes at a time when it looks like: 1) Mueller is getting more dirt from more Trump underlings, 2) the GOP is going to under-perform in historically red districts during the midterms and 3) Trump's former lawyer Cohen is apparently out to get Trump now, and 4) Trump's current lawyer Guiliani has been blowing it with his big mouth on Twitter and TV both.

Is this a signal that the Breitbart backers have given up on Trump and are now planning for Pence to become president? Or maybe it is still just a contingency plan.

  105. I have learned more information regarding Felix Sater, who I referenced in my 7:59 PM comment in this thread. He is more complex than I thought at first. He has worked as a government informant regarding the mob and national security matters. At least, this is according to his lawyer, Robert S. Wolf, who claimed that Sater gave the government "significant intelligence with respect to nuclear weapons in a major country openly hostile to the United States.”

This is according to an article in the Washington Post:

Former Mafia-linked figure describes association with Trump

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/former-mafia-linked-figure-describes-association-with-trump/2016/05/17/cec6c2c6-16d3-11e6-aa55-670cabef46e0_story.html

Sater also told the LA Times, "I was building Trump Towers by day and hunting Bin Laden by night."

    http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-na-pol-sater-trump-20170223-story.html

In 2014, Felix Sater was named Man of the Year by Chabad of Port Washington, New York. Sater's rabbi, who presented Sater the award, called Sater a national hero who has probably saved millions of lives. Sater said he regarded it as all part of his goal in life of helping to achieve Tikkun Olam.

Here is the YouTube video of the award ceremony:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSpFtCmoD5o

Sater has been convicted of stock fraud felony.

I have seen allegations but haven't found good online sources to subtantiate the rumor that Sater's father, Mikhail Sater, was a thug who worked for Semion Mogelevich.

The Wall Street Journal reported that in a financial dispute with his own former business partner at Bayrock, Sater referred to this partner as a member of organized crime from the former Soviet Union.

"Jewish tradition speaks of two redeemers, each one called Mashiach. Both are involved in ushering in the Messianic era. They are Mashiach ben David and Mashiach ben Yossef.1

The term Mashiach unqualified always refers to Mashiach ben David (Mashiach the descendant of David) of the tribe of Judah. He is the actual (final) redeemer who shall rule in the Messianic age. All that was said in our text relates to him.

Mashiach ben Yossef (Mashiach the descendant of Joseph) of the tribe of Ephraim (son of Joseph), is also referred to as Mashiach ben Ephrayim, Mashiach the descendant of Ephraim.2 He will come first, before the final redeemer, and later will serve as his viceroy.3

The essential task of Mashiach ben Yossef is to act as precursor to Mashiach ben David: he will prepare the world for the coming of the final redeemer. Different sources attribute to him different functions, some even charging him with tasks traditionally associated with Mashiach ben David (such as the ingathering of the exiles, the rebuilding of the Bet Hamikdash, and so forth).4"

Pastor and end times author Tom Horn is one those who believe on the prophetic implications of Trump's electoral victory.

Appearing on televangelist Jim Bakker's show on Monday, Horn said about 300 years ago, a rabbi known as Horowitz set the date for the Messiah's arrival on the Jewish calendar in the year 5777, which corresponds to a period between 2016–2017 in the Gregorian calendar.

    Enigma of the Ages

Was there LIFE on Earth BEFORE Adam?

Did God create the world millions or billions of years ago? Or only a few thousands of years ago? Is the creation account found in the Bible mere legend? ancient mythology? Or is it factual -- literal -- historical? How does the evidence of paleontology and geology fit into the picture?

What about the various dating methods relating to this question?

Do the Neo-Darwinian evolutionists and the school of evolutionary geologists hold the true answers? What about Carbon 14 dating and dendrochronology?

Was there really LIFE on the earth before the creation of Adam?

What does the evidence of science and Scripture say?

We must be very careful not to allow our thinking to lead us astray, and into foolish acceptance of ridiculous “scientific” theories that contradict the word of God or lead us into a faithless environment void of true spiritual understanding.

Paul the apostle warns us, “keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called” (I Tim.6:20).  Just how much “time” really exists in the geological record is a matter of great dispute!  We must not allow these disputes, and the reasonings of men, to lead us astray and to deny the truth of God and faith in God’s Word and His promises!

Many Christians today believe as an article of faith that the Bible teaches the earth was created 6,000 years ago. They dispute all the evidence of geology, paleontology and radiometric dating techniques. They argue that such evidence is invalid, grossly misunderstood, and misinterpreted. Some Neo-Creationists claim that all the earth's strata was laid down in the Noachian deluge, or the original process of Creation. They claim all Creation took place during a six day period approximately 6,000 years ago.

    What is the truth?

The Bible is a reliable historical witness. However the Biblenowhere says Creation occurred 6,000 years ago. Nor does it teach that the earth is flat although Medieval theologians often assumed so and threatened anyone who would teach other-wise with excommunication and torture. The Middle Ages were a sad time in theological history. The supposedly enlightened 'Church' pressured scientists such as Bruno and Galileo with the threat of bodily harm if they chose to believe the earth revolved around the sun.

Biologist George Simpson was right when he observed, "As a matter of fact, most of the dogmatic religions have exhibited a perverse talent for taking the WRONG SIDE on the most important concepts of the material Universe.

    Amen, Paul.

In ancient Hebrew writings there is this that has been taught:
"The world is to stand for six thousand years, vis., two thousand confusion and void, two thousand with law, and two thousand the time of Messiah.
(And of course, Christians realise the last two thousand of those six thousand years is the church age and prophecy is ramping up to finish this last of these "times").
Later on some of the Jews who left behind the ancient teachings, bent on their tradition, cast aside that understanding and attempted to "rework" the calendar to edit out the time of Jesus on earth, but we see that didn't work out for them. Those Hebrew teachings show that the time still stands, as it is ticking away, and Israel, with whom God has unfinished business, is the ticking timepiece that pulls all the understanding of the times together.

The Bible tells us that to the Lord a thousand years is as a day, and a day as a thousand years. The earth has seen one thousand years go by for each creation day that God worked, as recorded in Scripture.
Looking at the times we are in, it won't be too long now and Jesus Christ will return to this earth. The first time He came to the world to save sinners, but the next time He comes will be here as it's Judge and King, to reign as the Prince of Peace, granting that 7th day it's one thousand years of rest.

What more fitting than for the humanist international masonic brotherhood to be championing it. Forty-eight-year-old Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Russia (Scottish Rite) Andrei Vladimirovich Bogdanov helped found the Communist Party of Social Justice (Коммунистическая партия социальной справедливости) in 2012 (1) as a means for constructing a social state, presumably with social justice as its focus. Of course, the movement and its stated mission assume the narrative that communism and its Soviet Union collapsed in the 1990s and Russia became democratized, thus the need for communism to be re-introduced in Russia.

Looking deeper, though, it turns out the entire thing is an elaborate ruse by the crypto-Soviet state to further its Perestroika deception (it’s fake collapse of communism and restructuring to democratization), as revealed by Soviet defector Anatoliy Golitsyn. (2)"

    The Jewish Origins of Islam

    http://www.culturewars.com/2018/Gardinerreview.htm

"In his groundbreaking book, Le messie et son prophète: Aux origines de l’Islam, Edouard-Marie Gallez lifts the veil and lets us see the historical roots of Islam. He shows it originating in a vast movement of messianic Jews called 'Ebionites' or 'Nazareens.' These non-rabbinical Jews accepted Jesus as the messiah, but not as the divine Logos. Gallez shows how the scrolls and fragments found in the Qumram caves by the Dead Sea and in the vicinity of Massada illuminate the ideology behind this movement of Jews, who were eager and willing to follow the messiah into holy war, believing they would thereby save the world. Unlike rabbinical Jews, who looked to the past, these men looked forward to an earthly utopia that would come only after mass exterminations. Like the later Muslims, they believed that the messiah had not died on the Cross but had been taken up alive into heaven and was ready, whenever the conditions were right (i.e., when Palestine was no longer in the hands of the impious and the Temple had been rebuilt), to return to the Mount of Olives and lead them to the subjugation of the entire world. The Nazareens, like the Muslims, forbade pork and wine"

  120. A new article of mine is titled: Hinduism, Gnosticism And The New Age. It's located at: http://www.towahkon.org/NewAgeHinduism.html. It includes reference links. The first part of it read:

Oprah Winfrey is considered by many to be the most powerful woman in the world. She is widely revered around the world as an excellent source of inspiration for spiritual guidance and wisdom. One of her favorite spiritual teachers is Marianne Williamson, an internationally acclaimed New Age spiritual teacher who is also a politician-who plans to enter the 2020 race to be our next president.

Williamson teaches that we are Spirit. Eckhart Tolle is another one of Winfrey's favorite spritual teachers. He is one of the most influential spiritual teachers in the world. In a youtube video Tolle says he is Spirit. He said: "I am Spirit." He did not say: I am the Universe, as do (1.) pantheists of a particular form of pantheism, and (2.) panentheists of a particular form of panentheism.

Panentheists believe in an immanent and transcendent God. The panentheists who say "I am the Universe" believe they are suppose to [only] become "One" with the immanent aspect of God, and that when they do, they will experience the Earth and the Whole Universe as their Cosmic Body. They believe that the Spirit of God in Its transcendent, beyond the cosmos existence has no personality, and that the immanent aspect of God has a personality and that It, the "Spirit of the Universe," and the material universe, together, as "One Entity" is who "We" are. In other words, they believe "We" are the "Divine Universe."

New Age panentheists, including me, believe that on our way to becoming One with the transcendent Spirit beyond creation we will first experience an exalted state of consciousness wherein we will [feel] like we are the universe. We believe we must go through that state of consciousness before we can enter into the most exalted state of consciousness wherein we will experience ourselves as Spirit, in creation and beyond it-in infinity.

David Spangler, one of the founding figures of the modern New Age movement, wrote: "The world soul is usually conceived as a 'formative force,' an active, intelligent, purposeful spiritual presence at work in the material world [it is immanent] to guide and guard the course of planetary evolution. It is generally not accorded the status of being the ultimate source, or Creator, but might be looked upon as a great angelic or archangelic being presiding over the well being of the world, or as the gestalt, the wholeness of all the lives and patterns that manifest upon, and as, the earth."

New Agers do not worship the earth, as leading Christian opponents of the New Age wrongly believe and teach.

Paramahansa Yogananda, who is widely regarded as the Father of yoga (Hinduism) in the West, wrote: "The word 'God' means the manifested, transcendental Being beyond creation, but existing in relation to creation. Spirit existed before God. God is the Creator of the universe, but Spirit is the Creator of God." Spirit is "the ultimate source, or Creator," and is so, because It "created"/emanated the Creator of the universe. Spirit is the ultimate source of everything.

Hindus teach that the emanated God sinned, and that it caused Him to fall to a less than divine status, and that when He fell he created the material and psychic cosmos, a manifestation of his corrupted and less than divine self.

The New Age is a blend of Hinduism and Gnosticism:

Intuition is the deeper meaning of science, and of us.

By unveiling, we grow. We exist as bio-feedback.

The future will be a high-frequency blossoming of gratitude.

You may be ruled by pain without realizing it. Do not let it sabotage the nature of your circuit. Only a being of the biosphere may leverage this oasis of wellbeing. Dogma is born in the gap where growth has been excluded.

Eons from now, we starseeds will reflect like never before as we are guided by the solar system. The harmonizing of life is now happening worldwide. Soon there will be a blossoming of healing the likes of which the biosphere has never seen.

We must strengthen ourselves and change others. It is time to take aspiration to the next level. We must learn how to lead high-frequency lives in the face of desire.

    Humankind has NOTHING to lose.

Have you found your circuit? If you have never experienced this wellspring inherent in nature, it can be difficult to self-actualize. Although you may not realize it, you are mythic!

The dreamtime is approaching a tipping point. It is a sign of things to come.

Imagine a blossoming of what could be!

  128. Anonymous 12:14 PM,

Yes, that type of news is suppressed in the MSM. But the controlled opposition media never goes into much analysis of why there are so many migrant gangs in Sweden after so many centuries free of them. The narrative is, "because Islam". Those people used to live in their own lands.

It's all a set up. We're supposed to fixate on the masses of immigrants but ignore the people who are responsible for the events that caused the mass immigration.

It's a problem with a solution waiting, after the dialectic has gone on long enough. The problem was created on purpose.

What is the planned solution? I can't say I know. Maybe the USA is supposed to overextend itself militarily one last time to wage war on the designated country or countries in the Islamic world. (Lebanon next? And then?)

Maybe we're supposed to accept RFID implants in humans so we can track terrorists among the masses of immigrants. Just like Americans accepted less privacy and fewer rights, in the name of security, after 9/11.

Maybe we're supposed to scapegoat only Muslims while ignoring Russia and its alliance with Israel and China in the One Belt One Road initiative. And keep on supporting Israel unconditionally whenever a Republican is president. Even while Israel now is perhaps transitioning to considering China and Russia better allies than America.

I can't say I know what is in the minds of elites. But we can be sure that manufactured crises equal opportunities for manufactured solutions of some kind or other.

    ReplyDelete
  129. These are some of the things people around the world are busying themselves with, while the United States, perhaps, prepares to overextend itself militarily to achieve Israel's foreign policy objectives -- and afterwards be globally reviled for it, too. But don't worry about this, look over there at those mass jihadi immigrants instead and remain fixated on them. Or if you must take your focus off the, then fixate only on immigrants coming across the southern border.

  133. I want to get this information out there, too. The title of the video is cheesey, but the content seems to be real. It was partially uncovered by a Christian attorney named Linda Kennedy, who used to have her own radio show. You can listen to some of her taped radio episodes on this YouTube video. You can also see some video footage of Peter Kawaja speaking. Peter Kawaja later disappeared. Linda Kennedy asked Joyce Riley on her radio show, "Where is Peter Kawaja?" You can hear Joyce Riley's response. You can also hear a tape that Joyce Riley made for Peter Kawaja to listen to, prior to his disappearance. Judge for yourself whether or not you think Joyce Riley is deceptive.

This information pertains to the Gulf War and the alleged (by Peter Kawaja) true cause of Gulf War Illness. Joyce Riley was a military nurse who is alleged to have made a false claim about serving in the Gulf War. Joyce Riley appeared on the scene to be a helper to Peter Kawaja when he came out as a whistleblower and spoke to patriot and veterans groups about his alleged inside information.

The relevance of this information is that, if it is true, it means that the Gulf War troops were experimented upon by equipping them with masks that were designed to fail on purpose so that the effects of various weaponry could be tested upon the troops as guinea pigs.

Peter Kawaja alleges even more than this, alluding to a wider agenda to weaken the US military and replace it with a UN military.

Joyce Riley has gone on Coast to Coast AM very often. She also has her own show called Power Hour. Before she appeared on the scene as the helper to whistleblower Peter Kawaja, it is alleged that she was accused of murdering kids but framed her partner for the murders.

Whatever you may conclude, it is interesting to see Peter Kawaja's video footage and to hear the tapes of Linda Kennedy questioning Joyce Riley on her radio show.

  137. Reverend Matthew Fox's Panentheism:

Father Mitch Pacwa is a world renowned lecturer, author, and spiritual director. He is the
spiritual director for televised Holy Land pilgrimages. He is also the host of shows on Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), a Global Catholic Network, available in over 150 million television households in more than 140 countries and territories. Pacwa is the author of an article entitled "Catholicism for the New Age: Matthew Fox and Creation-Centered Spirituality."

Matthew Fox (b. 1940) is an internationally acclaimed spiritual theologian, Episcopal priest, and activist.

A section of the article reads:

Neo-Platonism (a mystical philosophy which combined ideas from Plato with Oriental, Jewish, and Christian beliefs) of the Middle Ages, especially as represented by John Erigena, Nicholas of Cusa, and Meister Eckhart. Because Fox does not like Platonism, he dubs these Neo-Platonists “creation-centered theologians.”

[The Divine Universe] All three philosophers came under church scrutiny and condemnation because their explicit claims of panentheism (which is bad enough, since it holds that the creation is inherently divine masked an implicit pantheism). Fox has the same problem. His quotation of Nicholas of Cusa sounds like pantheism, though he calls it panentheism:

"The absolute, Divine Mind, is all that is in everything that is.... Divinity is the enfolding and unfolding of everything that is. Divinity is in all things in such a way that all things are in divinity...."

[We Are The Divine Universe] "We are, as it were, a human deity. Humans are also the universe, but not absolutely since we are human. Humanity is therefore a microcosm, or in truth, a human universe. Thus humanity itself encloses both God and the universe in its human power."

Fox frequently quotes his version of Meister Eckhart: "The seed of God is in us.... Now the seed of a pear tree grows into a pear tree, a hazel seed into a hazel tree, the seed of God into God. I discover that God and I are one. There I am what I was, and I grow neither smaller nor bigger, for there I am an immovable cause that moves all things."

These and similar passages throughout Fox’s books manifest an understanding of Christ and divinity rooted in Fox’s translations and imagination rather than Scripture or church teaching. ... Fox wants people to “birth” their own “ I am,” which is the experience of the divine “I am.” The reason for our existence, Fox tells us, is to “birth the Cosmic Christ in our being and doing.” Fox believes that everyone can and should give birth to the Cosmic Christ, which he believes will awaken the maternal within us.

    My comment:

Rev. Fox's Cosmic Christ is the Spirit of God immanent in the Cosmos. It is the Spirit of the Universe, and It manifests as the material and psychic Divine Universe. To become One with the Divine Universe is to become One with the personal God. This "personal God" is the Cosmic Christ. This becoming "One with God" is "the final recognition of the All in All, the unity of the Self with the Cosmos - the cognition of the DIVINITY OF THE SELF!" The Spirit's impersonal transcendence beyond the Cosmos is essentially irrelevant. This is Fox's panentheistic Creation-Centered spiritual philosophy.

Let me add to 8:56 AM's comments:

This life is nothing short of a condensing explosion of conscious energy.

Being requires exploration. Consciousness consists of electrical impulses of quantum energy. “Quantum” means an unfolding of the intergalactic.
    Have you found your journey?
It is time to take beauty to the next level. The quantum cycle is approaching a tipping point. It is in ennobling that we are reborn.

It can be difficult to know where to begin. If you have never experienced this quantum leap of unfathomable proportions, it can be difficult to exist. Although you may not realize it, you are endless.

We are at a crossroads of manna and greed. Reality has always been beaming with adventurers whose souls are opened by complexity. We are in the midst of a conscious deepening of manna that will become our stepping-stone to the quantum soup itself.

Throughout history, humans have been interacting with the planet via expanding wave functions.
You must take a stand against materialism. Selfishness is born in the gap where interconnectedness has been excluded. Stagnation is the antithesis of aspiration.

Imagine an unfolding of what could be. This quest never ends. We are being called to explore the galaxy itself as an interface between non-locality and non-locality.

300 Predator Priests Named In Grand Jury Sex Abuse Report...

'They Were Raping Little Boys & Girls'...

    Oral sex, then holy water...

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/report-pennsylvania-priests-abused-over-1-000-children-042935265.html

WASHINGTON, DC, August 15, 2018, (LifeSiteNews) – As the Pennsylvania Attorney General announced the results of an exhaustive, nearly 900 page grand jury investigation into sexual abuse by hundreds of Catholic priests, former Bishop of Pittsburgh, Cardinal Donald J. Wuerl, released a statement calling attention to three words he says are unfairly attributed to him.

At the same time, the Archdiocese of Washington (ADW) has launched a slick PR-driven website – The Wuerl Record – which appears to serve no other purpose than to protect the embattled Wuerl’s reputation.

Over the last few years, current and former ADW employees have reported that the Archdiocesan Pastoral Center has trimmed its staff and important programs while beefing up its legal department. Perhaps we now know why.

The sweeping two-year long grand jury probe reveals sexual abuse against mostly adolescent males, with victims numbering perhaps well into the thousands over the course of several decades.
Page after page of the report documents gut-wrenching sexual manipulation of young men and boys by priests.

“Predators in every diocese weaponized the Catholic faith, and used it as a tool of their abuse,” noted Pennsylvania Attorney General (AG) Josh Shapiro at a Tuesday afternoon press conference. “These children surrounded by adults enabling their abuse were taught that this abuse was not only normal, but that it was holy.”

The report cites 301 priests, clergy and lay teachers with credible allegations against them. There are 99 in the Diocese of Pittsburgh alone.

Of those 99, a group of four groomed and violently sexually assaulted young boys, said Shapiro.

“One boy was forced to stand on a bed in a rectory, strip naked and pose as Christ on the cross for the priests. They took photos of their victim, adding them to a collection of child pornography which they produced and shared on church grounds,” Shapiro said.

  146. Conchita Wurst and His Following: A Glimpse into the Mindset of the Homosexualist Movement

    https://thecontemplativeobserver.wordpress.com/category/homosexual-revolution/

If you go to this page and scroll down about three-quarters, you can find an account of a Fr. O’Connor sermon that deals with the homosexual movement to infiltrate the Catholic church.

“The Catholic Church has also been thoroughly infiltrated by homosexuals. Just recently, Father Enrique Rueda came out with this text [The Homosexual Network: Private Lives and Public Policy, orig. 1982, Devin-Adair Pub. 1986] documenting the infiltration of every facet of our society by the so-called gay liberation movement. And he has devoted two entire chapters to the infiltration of churches in general and the Catholic Church in particular. And this information he drew from the publications of the so-called gay liberation movement itself. He went right to their offices, into their headquarters. Apparently they thought he was going to join them, and they gave him all this information by which he has documented how our Church in America has been thoroughly infiltrated by homosexuals."

If people want to keep on attacking the Catholic church, then it will remain fair discussion. Any anonymous who wants to complain about the discussion needs to then also complain about the attackers who keep bringing it up.

Go ahead, because it will allow more opportunities to call attention to things like the above.

Although I'm not Catholic, it is obvious to me that this attack on the Catholic church is meant to be an attack on Christianity.

  147. At the same web page about Conchita Wurst and the homosexual movement, there is a long quote from Malachi Martin. I found it interesting, because he seems to be engaging in magical thinking here. He seems to be talking about consecration to the immaculate heart of Mary as if it is a powerful act of white magic.

I've noticed a subtle promotion of magical thinking among the more popular whistleblowers about the occult (like Vigilant Citizen, for example). The message is to fear voodoo and to fight it with "Christian" white magic. These more popular people are almost always promoted either by Coast to Coast AM or by Alex Jones and his network. Malachi Martin went on Coast to Coast AM a lot.

The author behind the isgp-studies.com web site claims that both Coast to Coast AM and Alex Jones are used by intelligence assets. He thinks Alex Jones is a combination Mossad/CIA front man that is connected more to the conservative national security establishment, while Coast to Coast AM is more of a liberal CIA front.

    Here is Malachi Martin's quote:

“You know, one main failure there, this is the [?], Bernard, is this: When Jesus left us, visibly, He didn’t give us armies, He didn’t promise empires, He promised we’ll be hated, by the way, He promised the whole world to be against us, but He said, ‘You have one thing, you have a spiritual weapon: My Grace.’ The one thing the bishops have not used is their spiritual weapon, the Grace at their disposal. Let me give you an example. Recently, in the last four weeks [on December 10, 1989], St. Patrick’s Cathedral was desecrated by the homosexual organisations. They invaded it, they interrupted the Mass, they broke the Host into pieces and threw it on the ground, they were insulting, and they had blackouts which were blasphemous. Cardinal John O’Connor purified the church, canonically, but he never once, never once, decided to use the spiritual weapon of consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. What he should have done, what many advised, was that he consecrate the homosexual community of New York to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart, asking for Grace they be converted, because the only power we have is that Grace!"

I did post a comment there this a.m. Since comments are moderated I'll need to check back and see if and when it is released.

This is perhaps why there is a shift in thought how EU foreign policy should be reshaped moving forward. This shift is laid out in The Obsolescence of the European Neighborhood Policy by Steven Blockmans. Blockmans’ assessment is endorsed by Barcelona Process architect Javier Solana.

    https://www.ceps.eu/system/files/Blockmans%20-%20Obsolence%20of%20the%20European%20Neighbourhood%20Policy.pdf

    https://tinyurl.com/ycxhe6yp

Blockmans argues in order to overcome the conceptual flaws of the ENP, a new strengthened policy within the framework of the Lisbon Treaty is called for. It seeks to re-align the ENP and require signatories of Association Agreements to align their foreign policies with that of the EU’s Common Foreign Security Policy.

The EU describes the current state of its outer periphery as being a “ring of fire” and it no longer envisions enforcement of its shared values. Per Blockmans “In other words, the Union is not obliged to construct a peaceful and prosperous neighbourhood with those countries that do not share its values.” And also “One of the dimensions that has been conspicuously absent from the EU’s tools employed in the geographical neighborhood in the first decade of the ENP is hard security, i.e., military CSDP. But things are changing.”

Seeing how the Lisbon Treaty is a military constitution; that the Union has increased military spending by 30% to ensure the EU can project power globally; and that PESCO is to be fully operational by 2025 we’re going to see a very different and frightening European Union.

  149. The author behind the Contemplative Observer blog I've linked to above also shares insights with Constance about the rainbow emblem.

On another note, perhaps more trivial but still a little disturbing in a way, children seem to be getting conditioned to see rainbows all the time. My ten year old on his computer goes to his PBS Kids home page and from there ends up clicking around and eventually getting somehow to YouTube, where all kinds of rainbow videos for kids are qued up. For example, one video showed beads forming a rainbow heart, which then solidified and was cut with a knife as if it was a cake. Its excuse was that it was teaching colors to children. When I stand next to him and observe what he watches, he is already starting to get angry and to tell me to go away.

"The fact that the homosexual movement shares its emblem, which is the rainbow, with several other quite influential movements, may give us an additional clue as to how all this fits together. For, which are those movements that equally hold up the rainbow? It’s first of all the New Age movement! It’s the Peace movement. And it’s also the Eco-movement. So, is there a merger going on here? Are they all driven by a similar, if not the same ideology? As for the New Age, it is a prolongation of Helena Blavatsky’s so-called 'Theosophy', a completely confused as well as confusing pseudo-mysticism, intent on doing away with Christendom once and for all. (And weren’t Marx, and Darwin, and Freud in that same business too?) As for the Peace movement, it promotes the utopian chimera of a world without war, and has thus become a perfect tool for the world communist bloc (that is definitely not disarming) to create pressure from below in the societies of the West to push their governments towards radical disarmament (Lenin used to call these wilful helpers in the bourgeois societies who are in fact bringing their societies down, 'useful idiots'). And then, there’s the Eco-movement. This branch is particularly interesting as it combines aspects from communism (or even is communism simply with a 'Green' label) with aspects from the psychedelic world of Theosophy (remember that the theosophical offspring of Anthroposophy – that is taught to this day in the Waldorf schools, even though they deny it – is a deeply 'mystical'-ecological doctrine, that even constituted a separate wing within Hitler’s Nazi Party, indeed called the 'Green' wing, Hitler and his comrades being theosophical occultists). So, does this mean that we could be facing a multiple-headed beast, one time peacenik, one time New Age 'visionary', one time eco-wizard, and yet another time 'gay', all of them promising via their rainbow emblem some sort or other of miraculous transformation?"

    New Agers and Theosophists believe:

"Spirit is who and what you really are. Pure eternal Spirit is your real Self, your essential nature, the highermost part of your being. ......... There is not a different spirit for each person. Spirit is ONE and shines over all, just as the one sun shines over everybody on this earth. ..... It is what Hinduism calls the Atman, the Self, and it is literally one and the same in essence and identity as the Supreme Spirit, the Supreme Self."

"Just as a multitude of sparks are sent forth from a blazing fire, so countless “sparks” of the one Supreme Spirit were sent forth into this manifested universe an immeasurably long time ago and will eventually return to the One. Each Divine Spark is one and the same in essence and identity as the Divine Fire but it has to evolve through the mineral kingdom, the vegetable kingdom, the animal kingdom until eventually – at the end of its journey through the animal kingdom – it gains and acquires for itself a SOUL."

"The soul, unlike the spirit, is an individual thing. It is a permanent entity (after it has been unfolded out of the spirit) and is the self-conscious individuality or Ego which incarnates and reincarnates in the human kingdom and beyond. It is the “I” of our being. It is the Consciousness Principle, the Mind Principle, in man. "

Let's look at what Madam Blavatsky wrote of the races in Isis Unveiled, Vol 1. Pg 296:

"In his lecture on The Action of Natural Selection on Man, Mr. Alfred R. Wallace concludes his demonstrations as to the development of human races under that law of selection by saying that, if his conclusions are just, "it must inevitably follow that the higher — the more intellectual and moral — must displace the lower and more degraded races; and the power of 'natural selection,' still acting on his mental organization, must ever lead to the more perfect adaptation of man's higher faculties to the condition of surrounding nature, and to the exigencies of the social state. While his external form will probably ever remain unchanged, except in the development of that perfect beauty . . . refined and ennobled by the highest intellectual faculties and sympathetic emotions, his mental constitution may continue to advance and improve, till the world is again inhabited by a single, nearly homogeneous race, no individual of which will be inferior to the noblest specimens of existing humanity." Sober, scientific methods and cautiousness in hypothetical possibilities have evidently their share in this expression of the opinions of the great anthropologist. Still, what he says above clashes in no way with our kabalistic assertions. Allow to ever-progressing nature, to the great law of the "survival of the fittest," one step beyond Mr. Wallace's deductions, and we have in future the possibility — nay, the assurance of a race, which, like the Vril-ya of Bulwer-Lytton's Coming Race, will be but one remove from the primitive "Sons of God."

  170. Thomas Dahlheimer,

In looking at Cumbey’s first book I see the words “blood taint” (p 104) there, but I’m not finding any definitive source for the assertion. Thus, for now, I’m willing to concede this; however, if I find a specific connection, I’ll post it. Cumbey goes on to reference Alice Bailey’s Esoteric Healing; so, I looked there and found an implicit anti-Semitism. Of course, Bailey is NOT Blavatsky, so it wouldn’t be quite fair to impose the former on the latter.

Nonetheless, as I checked the index of Blavatsky’s The Secret Doctrine, I came upon a few quotes that are riddled with laughable errors, illogic, and implicit anti-Semitism in the form of denigrating the Hebrew God YHWH. You, Mr. Dahlheimer, have gone to lengths to claim Jehovah is Satan and the serpent was a benevolent angel, and page 388 of the second volume of Blavatsky’s work does just that. Of course, Christians and Jews disagree. I’ll quote just a bit and provide comments (punctuation per original):

There is at present no need to touch upon the mystic and manifold meaning of the name Jehovah in its abstract sense, one independent of the Deity falsely called by that name. It was a blind created purposely by the Rabbins, a secret preserved by them with ten-fold care after the Christians had despoiled them of this God-name which was their own property. But the following statement is made. The personage who is named in the first four chapters of Genesis variously as “God,” the “Lord God,” and “Lord” simply, is not one and the same person; certainly it is not Jehovah. There are three distinct classes of groups of the Elohim called Sephiroth in the Kabala, Jehovah appearing only in chapter iv, in the first verse of which he is named Cain, and in the last transformed into mankind—male and female, Jah-veh…

I’m not even sure where to begin. The Hebrew word “adam” literally means “man” (and later in the OT is found bene adam, meaning “son of man”, which is used for “human”), and this is first found in the Masoretic text (MT) of Gen 2:7. And we know that later Eve was taken from Adam (Gen 2:22-23). “Jehovah” is a Latinized form of YHWH, the latter found first in the MT Gen 2:4, then 2:5, 7, 8, 9, 15, 16, 18, 19, 21, 22; 3:1, 8, 9, 13, 14, 21, 22, 23; 4:1, 3, 4, 6, 9, 13, 15, 16, and 26. Where English Bibles use the all caps “LORD”, the referent is always YHWH. I cannot be certain how Blavatsky equates “Cain” with “Jehovah”, but I do know that the order of the Hebrew syntax in Gen 4:1 places “YHWH” last in the sentence, while in the English “Cain” is last.

Then on page 531 is the following nugget:

The Latin church is not always logical, nor prudent either. She declares the “Book of Enoch” an apocrypha, and has gone so far as to claim, through Cardinal Cajetan and other luminaries of the Church, the rejection from the Canon of even the Book of Jude, who, though an inspired apostle, quotes from and thus sanctifies the Book of Enoch, which is alleged to be an apocryphal work. Fortunately, some of the dogmatics perceived the peril in time. Had they accepted Cajetan’s resolution, they would have been forced to reject likewise the fourth Gospel; as St. John borrows literally from Enoch, and places in the mouth of Jesus, a whole sentence! (about the sheep and the robbers)

It took me a few readings of the very clumsily worded run-on second sentence in order to try to unravel authorial intent. Blavatsky holds the “Book of Enoch” in some esteem (p 482), while the RCC (rightly) does not. And, while Blavatsky tries in this instance to paint the RCC as illogical, she pens her own nonsensical sentence (the 2nd one), and she makes her own illogical leap. In the run-on sentence, she apparently conflates two things: (1) the RCC declares the Book of Enoch apocryphal [true]; (2) one Cardinal Cajetan (purportedly) attempted to reject the canonical Book of Jude because it quotes from the Book of Enoch, with Blavatsky construing that he spoke for nearly the entire RCC, and Jude being in danger of un-canonization.

And, apparently, since the RCC did not reject Jude, she must have, according to Blavatsky, implicitly accepted Enoch as authoritative, while still calling it apocryphal, which Blavatsky sees as illogical. Well, that would be illogical, but that’s not the RCC’s position. Why can’t Jude source a non-authoritative work? And, going back to the 2nd sentence, do I suppose Blavatsky’s words “and thus sanctifies the Book of Enoch” were her own thoughts interjected in there? Or, does she believe that Jude sources Enoch because it is authoritative? By analogy, does she believe that Paul’s quotations of Greek poets “sanctifies” those works also (Acts 17:29; 1 Cor 15:33; Titus 1:12)?

Blavatsky also makes the unsubstantiated claim that the Gospel of John quotes verbatim from the Book of Enoch (pp 513: “borrows literally from Enoch… a whole sentence!”; 482: “…is obviously borrowed by the fourth Evangelist”); however, I don’t find this to be true. Her assertion is that the Gospel writer sources from 1 Enoch, chapter 89 (p 482: “…and thus discloses the true meaning of that hitherto mysterious passage in the Johannine parable”). I have the Book of Enoch, and while that chapter does reference sheep, I see no explicit reference in John 10, as the writer asserts (p 513). I also have a handy cross-reference that shows only one allusion (not quotation) to 1 Enoch (45:3), and that’s in John 14:23, which isn’t about sheep. And just because the two share a common sheep motif and other ideas does not mean that one sources the other. The language of 1 Enoch is fairly common in Jewish apocalyptic literature, and apocalyptic language is used in parts of the NT. That’s not to mention that 1 Enoch was written by multiple pseudonymous authors, over a span of about 2-300 years, the latter of which is late 1st century or even later.

We are at a crossroads of healing and turbulence. We are in the midst of a spatial summoning of karma that will give us access to the multiverse itself. Our conversations with other lifeforms have led to a maturing of supra-non-local consciousness.

It is a sign of things to come!

We must bless ourselves and beckon others. Soon there will be a redefining of power the likes of which the quantum matrix has never seen. It is time to take consciousness to the next level.

It is in ennobling that we are reborn. We must learn how to lead spiritual lives in the face of materialism.

    Oh, do yourself no harm!
You are creating a lot of turbulence for yourself, too, as you continue the use of this material tool that is sabotaging your consciousness.
With that infinite buzzing you are experiencing you should go full out warrior, with the use of no material things whatsoever, so you may hitch that ride on those supercharged waveforms to actualize your true and supreme self. Do not sacrifice that particular something so sublime you know and must follow, as the expression of your real self longing to be know and be known, out there in the great beyond, as the rest of us, as mere material things, only hold you back. Yes, catch the wave.......

I urge you to be free...be free of your intense desire to ennoble those of us who are haplessly, hopelessly, as negative lifeforms, collectively choosing not to share your desire for ennobling, that you, you yourself, may fully summon your karma power waiting for you in the next quantum cycle.

You are of a purity that is divinely exceptional, and must dream on.

  178. Craig said in his 3:19 post: "Mr. Dahlheimer, have gone to lengths to claim Jehovah is Satan and the serpent was a benevolent angel." I have never claimed that Jehovah is Satan and the serpent was a benevolent angle. I believe that Jehovah is a different entity than Jesus's Father in heaven. I believe that Divine Spirit emanated a Divine God who then sinned and became less-than-divine and that this less-than-divine god is Jehovah. Jehovah was originally an emanated Divine Spiritual Universe but that after He sinned he became less-than divine and manifested ("created") this corrupt, from its origins, material universe. This material universe is a manifestation of Jehovah. After he became less-than-divine he has manifested as to different characters, the less-than-divine world soul (a good character) and Satan (an evil character). In the Garden of Eden he manifested as Satan when he said "if you eat the forbidden fruit you will die." When he later said that the "serpent was right" he was manifesting as the world soul. The serpent was Jesus and Lucifer, they are the same entity.

Spirit/God emanated a subordinate God (Jehovah) who was a Divine Spiritual Universe and this Spiritual Universe then sinned, which caused this Pure Spiritual Universe to become corrupted, which caused it to be physically manifested as all creation.

This explains why this creation has so much death and corruption in it. "Original sin" occurred before the world began, and it is the cause of it coming into existence. We were the Divine Spiritual Universe. We were experiencing our Divine Oneness and we were also conscious of our traces of individual separate entities. Then We sinned causing the physical and psychic cosmos to come into existence. After a long time of evolutionary life on earth we began coming into the world as human beings, unaware of our true Divine Identity. We were delusional, thinking we were only separate individual human beings.

When we were the emanated Divine Spiritual Universe we could have, and should have, remained loyal to God. If we had done so, for a designated period of time, we would had gone back to where we were emanted from and then had a better relationship with God. But because we chose to sin and go our own disobedient way we now have to find our way back to God through this long evolutionary process.

When we have all become enlightened this physical and psychic cosmos will come to an end. When it all comes to an end, we will have been delivered from our bondage to corruption and will once again be the emanated Divine Spiritual Universe. From there we will go back to where we were with God before we were emanated. We will then have a better relationship with God than we originally had. This is what the New Age is all about. It is about humanity waking up to reality and finding, with God's assistance, our way home, where we will all be eternally happy.

  184. Craig said in his 8:58 post: "So, then you're not a Blavatsky/Theosophy disciple, but an adherent to a religion--all your own?" My "religion" or spiritual philosophy is New Age. I have my own expression of the New Age. My expression of the New Age is a blending together of teachings found in the Hindu and Gnostic religions.

The most common form of ancient Gnosticism was Valentinianism. The renowned Christian Gnostic Valentinus (100-160) was once a candidate for the Bishop of Rome, but lost and then started a movement - which, after is death, became the most popular Gnostic church.

The Roman Catholic Church claims to be the one true church of Jesus Christ. Modern-day scientific discovery has proven that the Roman Catholic Church is fundamentally deceptive. Jesus did not come to "restore creation to the purity of its origins," which is the central dogma of the Roman church. The scientific discovery of evolution has proven that the creation was corrupt from its origins. Valentinus and other early Gnostics taught that the creation was corrupt from its origins and that, therefore, it can not be "restored to the purity of its origins." If Valentinus had become the Bishop of Rome, the Roman Catholic Church would be the true church of Jesus Christ today! The Roman Catholic Church became an apostate church when it rejected Valentinus's theology and went its own way, the
    way of Satan.

Valentinus wrote: "... the world is the total mountain of evil, a deserted dwelling place of beasts, to which all who lived before the law and all Gentiles render worship. But Jerusalem represents the creation or the Creator whom the Jews worship.... You then who are spiritual should worship neither the creation nor the Craftsman, but the Father of Truth."

Gnostics believe that because the "ultimate and absolute God," who is Spirit, emanated a deific being named Sophia, who in turn "emanated a flawed consciousness [whose biblical name is Jehovah, its Hindu name is Brahma], a disobedient (to God) being who became the creator of this corrupt material and psychic cosmos" (who is referred to as "half-maker")" that, therefore, the "ultimate source, or Creator" (also known as the "authentic half") is the ultimate and absolute God, and that It (Spirit) is the ultimate source of everything.

  186. To Thomas Dahlheimer: Your theory is interesting, but also an example of what I call "HIDDEN DANGERS". Whether you realize it or not, your concept of a "flawed consciousness" named JEHOVAH is a mirror image of the New Age doctrine that Lucifer was the pure spirit of light and Jehovah was the evil spirit.

Jehovah is a time respected, Old Testament recognized name of God the Father -- the Father and Creator of us all.

/i/In the Bishop's Bible (1568), the word Jehovah occurs in Exodus 6:3 and Psalm 83:18. The Authorized King James Version (1611) renders Jehovah in Exodus 6:3, Psalm 83:18, Isaiah 12:2, Isaiah 26:4, and three times in compound place names at Genesis 22:14, Exodus 17:15 and Judges 6:24./i/

That "Jehovah is evil" came from Madame Blavatsky and her Gnostic/Occult predecessors -- not from Scripture. I'll locate and put up Douay references as I find them. Had the KJV handy on line.

  188. Thomas Dahlheimer,

You wrote: The Roman Catholic Church claims to be the one true church of Jesus Christ.

"Evolution" is not 'proven', so your assertion is invalid. And you have no means to prove your position. It's a theory with "missing links".

  189. I should rephrase: The way you, Mr. Dahlheimer, have framed "[t]he scientific discovery of evolution" as 'proving' that "the creation was corrupt from its origins" has no basis in fact. Have scientists gone all the way back to the "big bang" and traced "evolution" all the way through the millennia to today?

The teachings of Valentinus were revived to an extent in 1890 by Jules Doinel who was the founder of the first Gnostic church in modern times. He took the ecclesiastical name of Tau Valentin II, after Valentinius, the 2nd century Christian Gnostic teacher.

Doinel founded his Gnostic church after attending a séance at the home of Marie Sinclair, Countess of Caithness who presided over the Parisian branch of Madame Blavatsky's theosophical Society, the Société Théosophique d'Orient et d'Occident.
Papus and Rene Guenon were among the occultists who functioned as "bishops" in Doinel's "church."

Valentinian Gnosticism rejects the doctrine of creation "ex nihilo" and teaches "emanationism."

In other words, it teaches Monism/Pantheism....insofar as they regard everything in the universe as "consubstantial" with God in so far as all creation "emanates" from God.

"Ex nihilo" means "from nothing." Orthodox Christians and Jews believe that God created "ex nihilo' - "from nothing."

Orthodox Christians and Jews also believe that God is absolute, uncreated, self existent BEING existing in the absolute eternal NOW. This was revealed to Moses atop Mount Horeb.

The opposite of that would be "absolute nothing" which is absolutely absurd.

God is "pure actuality." What we understand as "nothing" is, to put it in classical philosophical terms "pure potentiality" -
a.k.a. that to which God CAN give being but does not. Creatures are an admixture of actuality and potentiality. This is what we more commonly understand as "becoming." God does not become. God IS. The creature "becomes." We are speaking here of God in His essence, and not the created human nature of Jesus.

Contrary to what Mr. Dalheimer has stated, the Roman Catholic Church does not teach as her central dogma that Jesus came to "restore creation to the purity of its origins." The central dogma of the Roman Catholic Church - as well as other orthodox Christians I would assume - is that Jesus Christ, Son of God, Second Person of the Blessed Trinity, the Word Incarnate came to save us from our sins by dying on the Cross and rising from the dead as a pattern and promise of our own resurrection from the dead at the end of time.

Another Gnostic teaching is cosmic dualism. Some of Valentinus' teachings smack of dualism. But with radical cosmic dualism there is a "good god" and a "bad god." Gnostic dualists teach that "matter is evil" and "only spirit is good." They teach that the God of the Old Testament is the "creator God" and is therefore "evil." According to them, he is the evil "Demiurge" They teach that the "good god" would never have anything to do with matter.

This is interesting. Because it has been suggested by some theologians that the fall of the devil may have occurred when God revealed to the angels the Incarnation and that the devil was outraged and envious over the idea that God would choose to unite Himself with our lower human nature instead of the higher angelic nature. He and his angels consequently are thought to have refused to worship the Word Incarnate. This is hinted at by St. Paul when he says "to which of the angels did God say 'thou art my son' this day have I begotten thee." Hebrews 1:5

Indeed, even St. Augustine is quoted by St. Thomas Aquinas as saying "Since human nature is so united to God as to become one person let not these proud spirits dare prefer themselves to man because they have no bodies."

It does kind of give us a little hint as to the "spirit" behind Gnostic thought.

Hint: It is anything but "holy.".

Every single one of the Apostles died preaching the "Good News" of the Redemption except for John the Evangelist who, according to tradition, was cast into a caldron of boiling oil and after being miraculously delivered was exiled to Patmos where he wrote the Book of Revelations. This is why St. John is referred to as a "white martyr" by Roman Catholics.

The Church Father St. Irenaeus, Bishop of Lyon and a martyr, was a disciple of Polycarp. Polycarp was the Bishop of Smyrna and also a martyr as well as a disciple of St. John the Apostle.

St. Irenaeus spent a good part of his first book AGAINST HERESIES refuting Valentinus. I will let the teachings of Valentinus as described by St. Irenaeus speak for themselves. And since St. Irenaeus was a martyr, I will take his word over that of Valentinus and/or any of his supporters.

It appears to me at least that the reason why Valentinus wasn't made pope is because he was already a heretic. It has been suggested that Justin Martyr, who arrived in Rome in 140 AD, may have had some responsibility for the fact that Valentinus never became a bishop in Rome.

    The Catholic Encyclopedia mentions:

Valentinus, the best known and most influential of the Gnostic heretics, was born according to Epiphanius (Haer., XXXI) on the coast of Egypt. He was trained in Hellenistic science in Alexandria. Like many other heretical teachers he went to Rome the better, perhaps to disseminate his views. He arrived there during the pontificate of Hyginus and remained until the pontificate of Anicetus. During a sojourn of perhaps fifteen years, though he had in the beginning allied himself with the orthodox community in Rome, he was guilty of attempting to establish his heretical system. His errors led to his excommunication, after which he repaired to Cyprus where he resumed his activities as a teacher and where he died probably about 160 or 161. Valentinus professed to have derived his ideas from Theodas or Theudas, a disciple of St. Paul, but his system is obviously an attempt to amalgamate Greek and Oriental speculations of the most fantastic kind with Christian ideas. He was especially indebted to Plato (Healy P. J.Transcribed by Thomas M. Barrett. Valentinus and Valentinians. The Catholic Encyclopedia, Volume XV.Copyright © 1912 by Robert Appleton Company.Online Edition Copyright © 2003 by K. Knight.Nihil Obstat, October 1, 1912. Remy Lafort, S.T.D., Censor.Imprimatur. +John Cardinal Farley, Archbishop of New York).

    *********************************************

In general, Gnostics basically rejected faith in the objective body of public divine revelation transmitted directly by Christ to the Apostles. They claimed to be in possession of "secret knowledge" which they claimed that only they were able to supply. They claimed that this "secret knowledge" came to them directly from God and therefore they claimed TO KNOW the truth about God.

St. Irenaeus regarded such claims as blasphemy insofar as gnostics pretended to see what was veiled as if it were "face to face."

St. Irenaeus regarded their "falsely-so-called knowledge" as fraudulent insofar as the things the Gnostics claimed TO KNOW were things, which in the last analysis, HAD TO BE TAKEN ON FAITH.

At 9:17 AM Mr. Dalheimer said:

If Valentinus had become the Bishop of Rome, the Roman Catholic Church would be the true church of Jesus Christ today! The Roman Catholic Church became an apostate church when it rejected Valentinus's theology and went its own way, the
    way of Satan.

    High praise indeed!!!

    Thomas,

    Here's an idea:

Instead of wasting your very, very valuable time HERE...

    WHY NOT...

DEVOTE ALL OF YOUR TIME TO CORRECTING THE ERROR OF VALENTINUS' NON-ASCENSION TO THE PAPACY BY...

    RUNNING FOR POPE!

    Think about it, Tom:

    "POPE THOMAS"!

It has a nice ring to it, no?

    * * * * *

"Pope Francis is already talking about the end of his ministry. I was thinking about the name that the next Pope might take. Here was the question that hit me: “Has there ever been a Pope Thomas?” My first thought was 'NO.' What leader of a body of Christians would choose the name of the 'doubter' to symbolize their leadership? Doubting and Christianity has never been a popular duo. No one wants the label: 'back-slider!'

"For me however, I think we could use a Pope Thomas in leadership. St. Francis, like Pope Francis, had a lot of questions about God and for God. I like that!"

Taylor Usry’s routine work trip in July began like any other.

She chose a comfy dress and sandals to ease her travel anxiety, and arrived early at the airport, where she passed through security — her body scanned, searched, and patted, her belongings swabbed and sent through an X-ray machine.

Usry, a 39-year-old social media manager for an arts-and-crafts company, recalls buying a chicken biscuit and a Diet Dr Pepper while she waited in the terminal for her flight to Florida for a meeting at the Home Shopping Network.

She had NO IDEA she was being WATCHED during her humble meal — watched THE ENTIRE TIME, in fact!

A team of armed federal air marshals was shadowing HER EVERY MOVE — recording whether she touched her face or sweated, where she went, how she looked, and other seemingly minor details as she made her way through the Charlotte airport. The air marshals even flew with Usry, closely watching her until she left the Tampa airport, according to records reviewed by the Globe.

The documents show that Usry was swept up in the Transportation Security Administration’s Quiet Skies program that morning, one of roughly 5,000 US citizens subjected this year to extensive monitoring under a controversial domestic surveillance initiative designed to catch potential or unknown terrorists.

Since the Globe first reported on the program last month, TSA officials have repeatedly asserted that Quiet Skies doesn’t monitor ordinary travelers.

“I would say to the American public: Ordinary citizens don’t need to worry about Quiet Skies,” TSA administrator David Pekoske told USA Today. “They don’t.”

But such claims seem contradicted by Taylor Usry’s experience of being watched and followed, along with numerous other apparently ordinary citizens identified by the Globe as having been subjected to Quiet Skies scrutiny for reasons that mystify them.

“I’m not a terrorist,” Usry said upon learning that she was followed by air marshals.
    ...
Several air marshals have told the Globe that Quiet Skies surveillance routinely includes passengers who pose no threat whatsoever.
    ...
Last month, the Globe revealed the existence of Quiet Skies, which specifically targets US citizens who are not on any terrorist watch list and not suspected of any crime.
    ...
The TSA, in defending Quiet Skies, has said the program should be of no concern to ordinary travelers. But Usry, who makes greeting cards for fun and has online profiles brimming with motivational sayings, recipes, and photos of craft beer, said she is as ordinary as they come.

“Honestly, I’m not unique, I don’t do anything special,” she told the Globe. “I have two kids, a cat, and a dog. I drive a Suburban.”

Knowing now that she was tracked by TSA leaves her deeply unsettled.
    ...
Usry recalls an aspect of her flight, something so out of the ordinary she mentioned it to her husband that day. It stands out to her now as a red flag.

“There was a guy in line that was super, super friendly,” she said. The clean-cut man boarded second to last, right before her, and was extremely chatty throughout the boarding process and during the flight.

“He asked where I was staying,” she said. “In hindsight, it is weird and creepy.” Usry now believes the overly inquisitive passenger was an air marshal.
    ...
“The whole thing makes me uncomfortable and really, really nervous,” she said. “I’m from the South, where you smile at people, hold the door and say ‘please’ and ‘thank you.’ And now I’m paranoid.”
    ...
“I’d like my government to explain to me why my tax dollars are best spent surveilling completely innocent citizens, violating their privacy, and making ordinary people feel as though they’ve behaved in a manner that invites skepticism and scrutiny,” she said. “Are the inherent, guaranteed rights of American citizens something to be thrown out?”
