New Agers Back Socialist Sanders as Messiah

New Agers Back Socialist Sanders as Messiah:
Update:  One of my closest personal friends died on Wednesday.  TMERadio will do a rerun of a previous program of mine in the morning, August 22, 2015 as I will be at the funeral that starts at 10:30 a.m.  Thank you for your patience!  I did a SKYPE Roku TV interview with Cliff Kincaid on his America Survival program on Wednesday night.  It aired live, but the program will be going up on his archive.  I'm still finishing parts 2, 3, and 4 of the military New Age and Satanism series.

  2. I've not felt well for the past couple of weeks. I really haven't been quite the same since that "near miss" I experienced almost immediately after my NewswithViews article about General Vallely and Michael Aquino was published. My left leg is giving me a great deal of trouble - walking is difficult. My doctor suspects it is a "sciatic nerve" problem. We are working on that and thanks for your patience and prayers.

The radio program was impeded Saturday morning by the severe forest fire hitting Kamiah, Idaho that required area evacuation. We hope to be back live this coming Saturday morning.

The attached article is the opinion of Cliff Kincaid, a political writer and analyst whom I great respect although we don't always agree on all specifics. He noted that candidate Bernie Sanders had a large New Age following, looked into it and discovered Marianne Williamson was a major Sanders' backer. He called me for information on Marianne Williamson and has scheduled me to do his ROKU Television live program at 9 pm Eastern Time tomorrow night, Auust 19th. I will be "live" via SKYPE. Join us. We will be discussing Marianne Williamson and other New Age issues.

Pray for my article continuation. My draft in progress suddenly disappeared from my computer. I am mystified, but I'm starting again from scratch.

Just a reminder..... that Marianne Williamson is a friend of Diane Temple who is the wife of Paul N. Temple.

Paul N. Temple is co-founder along with former astronaut Edgar Mitchell of the Institute of Noetic Sciences.

Interestingly, Wernher von Braun's name has been added to the list of co-founders of the Institute of Noetic Sciences (see above link) and when von Braun was converted, he had a private meeting with the Reverend Billy Graham. As everyone knows, Paul N. Temple has close ties with THE FAMILY

Diane Temple, who was an early student of A COURSE IN MIRACLES, has been involved with Marianne Williams in promoting it and sits on the Board of Directors of the Foundation For Inner Peace which which publishes and distributes A COURSE IN MIRACLES.

In March, 2015, Bernie Sanders delivered the keynote speech at Marianne Williamson's third SISTER GIANT conference:

In March 2015, Marianne Williamson hosted her third SISTER GIANT conference. This two day event featured some of the brightest political and transformational minds of our time, discussing critical matters facing our country and world today, including getting money out of politics, racial justice and mass incarceration, the corruption of our food supply, how to build a more peaceful world, and the bridge from spiritual enlightenment to political transformation.

Over 30 speakers and panelists participated along with over 1200 people from 44 States and 13 foreign Countries and Territories. Senator Bernie Sanders from Vermont delivered the keynote address.

If the idea of merging spiritual enlightenment with conscious citizenship and political change resonates with you, you will love this weekend-long, deep and inspiring conversation.

The recorded version is presented by videos covering each segment of the two-day event. Each video segment is approximately two hours long. You will have continued access to the videos and can return to them again and again.

As I have pointed out on more than one occasion, socialism appears to be the political arm of the New Age Movement. It had its modern day origins in the "utopian socialism" of Saint-Simon whose followers made a sort of ersatz religion out of it. Its credibility lies in its hijacking and "transformation" of the Gospels........just like Marianne Williamson's "A COURSE IN MIRACLES" whose original "seer," Helen Schucman claimed that an "inner voice", which she identified as Jesus, guided her writing. Moreover, this hijacking and "transformation" of the Gospels is done with a view to promoting a kingdom which is "in and of this world."

Here is more on Williamson's support of Sanders.

I can't stomach reading the long list of alarmist cries Vallely makes in his book 'End Game' concerning Iran, Iraq, N. Korea and various CIA linked 'terrorist' groups following 'radical jihad'. His almost threat to Japan for thinking of helping Iran (this book is pre-tsunami) is ominous. His fear churning calls that if we don't act, we can face nuclear disaster all over the planet could be called a sadistic joke. Why? I do believe now that it is true that the Pacific ocean is dying and possible the entire northern hemisphere will follow. What kind of murdering psychopaths would do this and what kind of brainwashed people would look away and let them? If the ocean is dying, I frankly don't give a damn about radical jihad. So Lucifer gets his depopulation this way? Mass murder comes with God's judgement.

According to the following article about a recent "SCIENCE AND NON DUALITY CONFERENCE" attended by IONS co-founder Edgar Mitchell.

According to Edgar Mitchell, Wernher von Braun was interested in the work of Russell Targ who was a longtime exponent and expert in remote viewing at Stanford Research Institute.(SRI)

Following Dr. Mitchell’s theories, Russell Targ a longtime exponent and expert in remote viewing at SRI revealed that his initial funding came as a result of experiments with psychics that were so successful that they attracted the interest of the CIA. He said that Werner von Braun was interested in his work because he himself had had a psychic grandmother, and that anyone might increase their capacity for ESP with a consistent practice of a quiet mind.

Apparently Bernie Sanders is a proponent of "integrative medicine" which combines alternative medicine (including Yoga, Reiki, etc.) with evidence-based medicine. In the following Huffington Post article dated December 22, 2014, the author laments the loss of political power due to the November mid-term elections:

    3. The Republican Win and Awful Losses of Political Power: Harkin, Mikulski and Sanders

It was one thing to learn that integrative medicine's powerful and stalwart federal policy champion Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) was resigning. Then came the Republican control of the U.S. Senate which removed from power Harkin's closest colleague on all things integrative, Barbara Mikulski (D-MD), the chair of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, and Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont), the chair of the integrative-active Veterans Affairs. Federal policy in integrative health and medicine is going to be a different game with Senator Richard Shelby (R-AL) from a state with no integrative academic centers, and no licensing of acupuncturists and naturopathic doctors, at the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee's spigot

The following might have relevance to the recent discussion on Michael Aquino and Paul Vallely.

Integrative Medicine Invades the U.S. Military: Part One

Integrative medicine proponents claim superiority over physicians practicing “conventional” medicine. ......

From a consumer protection standpoint, I find integrative medicine troubling. Proponents are unfairly misrepresenting medical practice as inferior and offering themselves as the solution when there is no evidence that they can deliver on these claims. Unfortunately, despite this lack of evidence, integrative medicine has seized the imagination of public policy makers and legislative bodies. It is included in the Affordable Care Act and continues to metastasize throughout the military health care system, which together will soon control delivery of the vast majority of health care in this country.

Re:As far as religious influences go, Sanders said he finds himself “very close to the teachings of Pope Francis,”

Of course Sanders is a big fan of Pope Francis in terms of Pope Francis' advocacy for the poor and his critique of the corruption and greed which even deprives the poor of the means by which they might earn their own daily bread. Pope Francis has said - echoing St. Paul - that if a man is unwilling to work, he shouldn't eat.

Pope Francis: ‘Whoever Will Not Work Should Not Eat’
    http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2015/08/19/pope-francis-whoever-will-not-work-should-not-eat/
    ____________________________________________________________________

Pope Francis also alludes to St. Paul's denunciation of idleness in 2 Thessalonians 3:11 when he says:

Paul’s denunciation of idleness, Francis continued, “refers explicitly to a false spiritualism of some who lived off the backs of their brothers and sisters while ‘doing nothing.’” In the Christian outlook, a commitment of hard work is not opposed to a deep spiritual life, Francis said, referencing the example of Saint Benedict who taught that “prayer and work can and should be found together in harmony.”

“A lack of work is bad for the spirit,” the Pope said, just as a lack of prayer detracts from practical activity.

Socialism from its earliest modern beginnings in the seventeenth century, involved a hijacking of the Gospels - and particularly in our own time, a hijacking of the Gospel passages which define the Roman Catholic Church's teaching on a "preferential option for the poor."

The Roman Catholic Christian "preferential option for the poor" is defined according to the Gospel hermeneutics (interpretation ).....NOT Marxist hermeneutics.

As far as the Roman Catholic Christian communion is concerned at any rate, it is here where, according to C.S. Lewis, that we see "the abomination" beginning to "stand where it ought not." I leave it to other non-Catholic Christians to search for "the cloven hoof" within their own communions.

    And what is the difference?

According to Marxist hermeneutics "the poor" is not the real issue. In fact the "issue is never the issue." Thus spake Saul Alinsky. The "issue" is to be exploited as the means to an end which is POWER.

Political power is the real issue. Christ's kingdom is "not of this world." The kingdom of Karl Marx et al is both "in and of this world."

Socialism is inherently militantly atheistic, but will pretend to tolerate religion for the sake of political expediency. But once the need for political expediency has passed, then socialism shows its true colors. We see this happening now in terms of Christians being persecuted for refusing to bake wedding cakes for gays and clerks refusing to perform gay marriages.

Socialism is not about voluntarily and charitably "sharing the wealth." It is about coercively confiscating and controlling the wealth and doling it out only to those who show themselves willing to "toe the party line."

This is why certain tax exempt foundations once under investigation by the Reece Committee (an offshoot of the House Un-American Activities Committee - HUAC) promote communism even though their wealth is beyond the wildest dreams of human avarice.

According to the late Norman Dodd, chief researcher for the reece Committee, the heads of these tax exempt foundations see the collectivism inherent in socialism as a means of creating the monopoly that they might otherwise be prevented from creating due to the mandates of our anti trust laws. The name of the game is power.

Many think that socialism is just a "walk in the park. But according to Vladimir Lenin, "communism is the goal of socialism."

When it comes to "toeing the party line" as a condition of receiving benefits, when Pope Francis was still Father Bergoglio serving as Jesuit Provincial in Argentina.... and was very bravely rescuing people from the murderous military dictatorship and their "Dirty War," he didn't make membership in the Catholic Church a condition of anyone being rescued by him.

Details of Father Bergoglio's selfless bravery are to be found in the book entitled BERGOGLIO'S LIST by Nello Scavo which was inspired by the famous SCHINDLER'S LIST.

The journalist Nello Scavo began writing his book with a view to discovering hard evidence that Father Bergoglio had indeed collaborated with the military junta during the "dirty war." Scavo knew that if he could prove that the accusations against the newly elected Pope were true, he would be in for a huge scoop. The hard evidence, however, unexpectedly proved otherwise.

By the way, in terms of the "teachings of Pope Francis" that Bernie Sanders claims to be "very close to," I don't see any articles in which Bernie Sanders is a "big fan" of Pope Francis in terms of Pope Francis' condemnation of homosexuality, gay marriage, abortion, etc.

    Just saying.

11:03 Pope Francis seems "brave" to Jewish socialist Sanders because Francis is a Jesuit pushing the limits of what he can get away with without yet exposing to the brain dead masses that he is more likely than not a Gnostic infiltrator. To these men God is oppressive and stopping them from doing what they wilt. How brave they feel standing up to God by deception and being the hidden hand behind the curtains moving society towards more Talmudic communism. I know you are the Catholic apologist and communications director on this blog, enjoy that.

How Israel excludes those 'not Jewish enough': Meet the 'second-class' Jews whose plight is sparking an uprising against Israel's supreme religious authority.
    by Judy Maltz

Many are children of Jewish fathers and non-Jewish mothers, largely Russian-speaking immigrants. Some are Jews of choice whose conversions are unrecognized by Israel’s supreme religious authority because the rabbis who signed their certificates either do not measure up to the strict standards of the Chief Rabbinate or operate outside its state-sanctioned system. Others belong to emerging Jewish communities in remote parts of the world that have yet to be recognized by Israel’s gatekeepers, the bureaucrats at the Ministry of Interior. Still others are born Jews with no affiliation who, therefore, have no hometown rabbi to vouch for their lineage.

The assertion was the focus of a radio program titled “From the Inferno — The Jewish People: Propagator of the Satan Cult” aired last month by the state-owned RTVE broadcaster as part of its weekend “A la Carta” program.

The program begins with ominous music, followed by a gravel-voiced announcer who quotes from Jacob Frank, an 18th century Jew from Poland who had been excommunicated by his community for his heretic Kabalistic interpretations. “The Jews first propagated the cult of Lucifer in several secret satanical societies,” the monologue continues.

for what? "for his HERETIC Kabalistic interpretations"

what kind of interpretations of the Kabala was that he did?

    "HERETIC" kind of interpretations.

Yes the Kabala is dangerous, and Jacob Frank may have been truer to it than the
ORthodox Jews and others who are into it may want to admit to themselves. But usually,

You are correct about Jacob Frank being excommunicated by his own Jewish community -after which he and his followers pretended to "convert" to Roman Catholicism in order to trick the Polish bishop into protecting them.

Jacob Frank was a disciple and successor of Sabbatai Tzevi who not only claimed to be the reincarnation of Sabbatai Tzevi, but also like Tzevi "the messiah."

Sabbatai Tzevi's movement was shattered when, challenged by the Muslim authorities in Turkey and faced with martyrdom or conversion, the would-be "messiah" Tzevi chose outward conversion to Islam for himself and his followers while practicing their heretical gnosticised "Judaism" in secret. To this day, the descendents of these "converts" are known as the "Donmeh."

Similarly, what was, and often still is, a hallmark of Frankism......had to do with the Frankists' outward profession of Roman Catholicism while practicing their bogus gnosticised "Judaism" in secret. The "Judaism" they practice in secret is not Judaism. It is pagan Gnosticism tricked out in Jewish wrappings and terminology.

Frank and Tzevi were promoters of a bogus antinomian (lawless) "Kabbalah" which advocated the breaking of the Ten Commandments in anticipation of the new utopia and salvation through sexual ecstasy as given free reign during their secret orgiastic rites.

MUSLIMS JOIN WITH POPE ON GLOBAL WARMING -- An Emerging New Global Religion?

Islamic Leaders Want A Jihad Against Global Warming:

A group of influential Muslims is calling on others of their faith to wage a jihad on global warming, and is calling on Islamic governments to reduce their use of fossil fuels ahead of the United Nations climate summit in Paris this year.

“Excessive pollution from fossil fuels threatens to destroy the gifts bestowed on us by God, whom we know as Allah – gifts such as a functioning climate, healthy air to breathe, regular seasons, and living oceans,” wrote Islamic leaders from 20 countries after attending a summit in Istanbul, Turkey.

“We are driven to conclude from these warnings that there are serious flaws in the way we have used natural resources – the sources of life on Earth. An urgent and radical reappraisal is called for,” the Muslims wrote to Islamic government officials, delegates and activists.

In the wake of Pope Francis’ encyclical letter, other religious groups have made appeals to governments to agree to an international treaty to lower greenhouse gas emissions. Earlier this year, hundreds of Rabbis signed an open letter urging “vigorous climate action.”

  40. unless I misremember, I think Rabbi Antelman is one of those Jews who does not like Kabalah. Frankist or otherwise. Gershom Scholem
blamed Tzevi on Isaac Luria, something about the Lurianic view of Kabalah made Tzevi's heresy possible, but I don't remember what,
I recall this from reading something in the 1980s, I don't recall if Frank was mentioned.

The antinomianism of Sabbatianism/Frnakism is based on the hints in prophecy that the Law under the Messiah would be
changed, this was phrased by the later talmudists I think as what was sin would be called virtue and vice versa, referring
to external observance issues of the Law, which of course did happen when Jesus' fulfillment of the Law made the
external ritual observances not only unnecessary but a near denial of Christ. Conversely, not getting circumcised bur
relying on faith became a virtue.

Sabbatians/Frankists took this as applying to the moral law as well as ritual, which is a whole other matter. Aside from the
obvious issue of Tzevi being a false messiah, this inversion of morality was a mockery of God and I would not be surprised if explicit
satanism turned up in that circle at some point.

So back to Martin/Barnhouse and the counter-cult movement. Bob Larson, by the way, was good friends with Martin and only split with Hannagraaff later via an obvious instigated and public attack. Martin and CRI sent researchers to aid in Larson in his book writings and Martin and all of his people are listed in various ways in his books, including one Gretchen P.'s outfit. Tracing Barnhouse (to the bad guys) is pretty easy, but since I can't afford the hundred dollar book by Douglas Cowen, Bearing False Witness?: An Introduction to the Christian Countercult- is the comment correct on Amazon, is the movement "the spiritual heir to the Inquisition or Vishinsky" because that actually makes sense. Except he may be exaggerating a bit. I guess nobody expected the Spanish Inquisition. Or maybe you didn't research that MCE.

'you just have to be selective and never rely on anyone' well duh, Jesus only for me. I wasn't alive years ago so you have to bother with repeating it, we missed it in real time.

Larson is o.k. theologically but he is against the official church belief that Christians can't be demonized. The Catholic Church (tyrannically) does not want any exorcisms sensationalized, however the main RC exorcist did bless him once when Bob visited and his visit was frowned upon by the upper management. The fact is that exorcisms were done in open on the streets in the early days. Everyone hates Bob.

A guy 22 years ago named Ken Smith who was an atheist from the Denver area who went after Bob. Bob accused him of being law suit happy and Ken called Hanagraaff and instigated trouble during the event. After that they were no longer friends. CRI blasted Larson for being dangerous and subjective but could not find anything wrong with his theology.

Ken went on to spend the next 15 years suing the state of Colorado for making him take a psych evaluation and not letting him pass the bar until he did. He enjoyed suing judges. So Larson may have been correct about him. his websites are still up and slam Hannagraaff as well. Ken hated Christians in general turns out.

I understand Larson, Martin and Marrs have all insulted Constance in some way.

Counter-cult reminds me of the war on 'radical jihad'{{--not all Muslims are radical BUT the moderates don't count--}} in so much as it serves more as a fear producing mechanism a provocation in the cult member into a defensive life saving mode, rather than doing the service of saving or correcting the spiritual problem. Which is why Christians are told to lead by example, and avoid people who says Jesus is coming back with an Ak-47.

This is off-topic, but maybe relevant. The Dow Jones has tumbled more than 500 points after dropping more than 300 yesterday. That's more than 800 in two days. Is Jonathon
Cahn right? Is an economic collapse coming? If so, what comes after an economic collapse? A new economy or reboot the one we have now?

Another debt ceiling confrontation is set to happen in September. I'm not an economist, but with the economy getting so close to a breaking point does it matter if it's raised or not? We've played this game of economic Jenga so long now, will the tower collapse if a block is removed or restacked? So, if the debt ceiling is raised, not raised, or temporarily moved six months down the road, my bet is the economy will collapse. However, my bet wouldn't be worth much is the value of money is zero.

A new world order needs a new world economy. Perhaps this may be an opportunity.

  53. "he is against the official church belief that Christians can't be demonized. "

there is no such official church belief. maybe its in the online faith statement of
some Christian group maybe in one denomination.

Define "Christian." Someone who is ordering their life around Jesus and prays a lot
and fights against weird little shifts in consciousness, doesn't play with the occult,
    probably not.

But as for FACTS of what happens, regarding people who maybe would turn to Jesus
in an emergency but are worldly oriented and blah on theology nominal Christians,
    that's another matter.

Define "demonized." full on possession is a rare thing. Harassment attack is commonplace against those who take Jesus seriously, though it may not take a form
that is obviously occultic. Being connected or semi inhabited but not controlled
is another matter. Being influenced is another matter.

The charismatics are likely semi possessed at various moments, though whether it is
a person type being, or a demon designed warp in their soul processes like a sort
of robot effect thing that can tolerate praising Jesus at times is another question.

The people who get into New Age ideas and practices are often church going, the
infiltration of the churches is not just about people developing bad ideas, but
about spirit influence or even presence. Such people may come under influence and
some of the kundalini type manifestations in such situations look a lot like

I'm no economist either, but I'm betting this is a long-overdue correction. Corrections are normal, and in this deflationary, sluggish, slowing world economy, it was bound to happen. It may even go further yet before flattening out. Also, remember to look at percentages, and not just absolute numbers. 800 points in two days starting from 16,000 or 17,000 or whatever it was at is less of a drop percentage-wise than if it would have been at 10,000.

I do think an economic collapse is probably the first major "hit" we (America) will take.

A question that needs asking: Who is set to take advantage most from a US economic collapse? Bankers? Makes no sense. Not monetarily, anyway. POWER-wise, perhaps. This is what Christine and Susanna have argued. I have yet to be convinced of that, but I'm not ruling it out.

I guess we need to define what kind of power advantage we are talking about. Political power? Not so likely. Military power? More likely. I would say that the military alliance that is against us has been preparing economically to ride out whatever storm would come from our economy collapsing, and therefore would be the most likely culprits to hasten that event. They probably have the means to even precipitate it.

The Russia-China-Iran-etc axis has been planning a switch in the world's reserve currency for quite some time now, and have their own "currency basket" (backed by a lot of gold that they've been buying up) ready to be the one everyone switches to once the dollar collapses. This will be how the "power center" of the world will go from West to East, which is something they've been wanting to do for generations now. They've been wanting to change the world's power structure from unipolar to multipolar, and from there, maybe back to unipolar again, with them in the lead this time, and not the US.

Whoever controls the currency that everyone considers the "most real", is the one able to exert the "most real" power. To a certain extent, anyway. At some point, whoever has the most weapons (especially nuclear ones) is the one with the most power. Power to blackmail, for one. Guns and bullets trumps money when it comes to war. Most "money" by now is all electronic, and until you turn it into something tangible, it has no real value, only potential value.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Some final, random thoughts:

I find the thoughts of Europe gaining power and the Euro replacing the dollar to be laughable. The Euro is in so much trouble right now, I'm amazed that the Eurozone hasn't completely collapsed yet. I'm not sure what's holding it together! The ONLY WAY a New Age dictatorship will come out of Europe is if the US, Russia, China, and all the rest of the notable non-European nations kill each other off and somehow Europe escapes the fracas. Not very likely, in my book.

An EMP attack (or some kind of massive cyberattack that would achieve about the same thing) on the US I'd put right up there near the top of the list as a likely trigger event to collapse our economy. That's probably as close as you could get to a "flip the switch" scenario. If something like a nuclear exchange would occur, most electronics would be wiped out, which means that most of what we call "money" would just disappear. And only real assets from that point on really matter.

An interesting thing to look into would be to see what nations are the most "hardened" against a nuclear attack. It used to be us, or perhaps us and Russia on about an equal level during the Cold War. That is not the case anymore. They have substantially hardened their country in both military and civilian spheres, but we have, if anything, lessened our ability to withstand a nuclear attack. When was the last time you participated in a Civil Defense drill? (I don't even think it's called Civil Defense anymore...)

Because of that fact alone, the odds of Russia attacking the US in a first strike are higher now than they were during the Cold War. Of course, the game they play is still to use proxies to fight their wars, like all the terrorists they have trained down through the years, which FAR OUTNUMBER the ones we have trained, regardless of what a certain regular commenter might say to the contrary....

Look at the Great Depression, for example. You say bankers ALWAYS gain from a crash in any category, and I would assume that the Great Depression fits your definition of a crash. According to the article linked to below (and a host of others that had roughly the same numbers), "Between 1929 and 1933, 10,763 of the 24,970 commercial banks in the United States failed." No Christine, all I am saying is "Watch!" Open your eyes (and the eyes of your heart) and watch like Jesus told us to do.
It is not mine to parse every single everything and get lost in that swamp, spinning my wheels, distracted by that rather than what should be happening (changing inside) and outside of me. And God saying: while you are busy watching ME be God, be saying and doing this, etc, etc, (in the day to day) in anticipation of His soon coming.

Paul's timeline is much more in keeping with the times we are in.
But go on ahead and be consumed with everything but God's focus if you want. I want to make sure my lamp is filled with the oil of the Holy Spirit. Ready!!!
My eyes are lifted up and my heart tender, living in praise and thanks because the time draws near, so staying in the Word and praying, also to keep short accounts with the Lord and see my neighbor in his need-look to his concerns-sharing Jesus with those who are perishing and whatever else is on that plate.
    the LORD is at hand.
He has told us all things before it happens and if we take Him seriously we don't have to be caught unaware.

Thank you Physicist! I am going to have to check that book out.

I had formerly believed that Russell Targ was a New Age quack pretending to be a legitimate scientist before his work was debunked. James Randi's work clinches it.

I must say that I was a little surprised when I recently learned that rocket scientist Werner von Braun whom NASA has called the "Father of Rocket Science" was seriously interested in Targ's work; that he himself (von Braun)claimed to have had a psychic grandmother; and his assurance that "anyone might increase their capacity for ESP with a consistent practice of a quiet mind."

But then, given the story about rocket engineer Jack Parsons and his affiliation with Aleister Crowley and L. Ron Hubbard, I guess it is a tad naïve to assume that von Braun would not have been interested in all things paranormal - especially if he were among those handpicked by Abraham Veriede and included in Vereide's little group of recycled Nazis.

  78. Physicist,

If Parsons hadn't been such an embarrassment that he was quietly sidelined by the
JPL historians, everyone would have heard of him, because he founded the Jet Propulsion
Laboratory. The moon crater named after him is one on the dark side of the moon,
maybe a kind of joke but also a testimony to his being an embarrassment. Not only
for the public occultism, these kinds of interests being nothing unusual at NASA
as Mike Bara has shown by noting the kind of naming and odd choices of timing of
launches and so forth, but because of the nature of his experiments and perverted
parties, one of which included a guy getting raped, but Parsons talked his way
out of the accusations when the police got involved.

Susanna, the whole Nazi scene was rife with occultism, and von Braun was not a
peripheral but a dedicated Nazi and was the one at Peenemunde who decided who lived
and who died. The records on the Nazis were whitewashed (though the redacted files
were tagged and the original buried files found by John Loftus and others later)
to make them legal to enter the US.

Paul, that 6,000 year thing is nowhere in the Bible. It was a speculation of some
early Church Father, nothing more. Even so, if you go by Bishop Ussher's calculation
of creation at 4004 BC, time ran out in AD 2003. So that speculation was wrong.

  79. I forgot to add, that the Tribulation can't begin until the antichrist has been
in power for 3 1/2 years, the second 3 1/4 years beginning in the middle of his
fourth year is the Tribulation. The antichrist isn't publicly here. And Daniel
7 shows he will arise out of a world empire that has conquered three others
contemporary to it, and apparently run by a triumvirate that he displaces. Such
a thing doesn't even exist yet.

the four beasts are not a rehash of the statue, because the angel says that these
are four kingdoms that will arise after Daniel. If these were the same as those

A day is as a 1000 years and a 1000 years as a day in God's realm. (where there is no time).
For each creation day 1000 years is represented. Check that out before you speak up.
God rested on the 7th day. The earth will get it's rest from all this groaning under the weight of sin and evil when the Prince of Peace comes to put the foe in chains and let all rest for a 1000 years.

I know all that but it has no bearing on determining the second coming.

the attempt to make such a calculation is not the kind of biblical deduction like
God made physical universe therefore since He said it is good it is good and we
should be suspicious of anything that says physical material is bad and goes on
to deny the Incarnation on that basis. or deny our eventual resurrection on that
    basis.

this is strictly a SPECULATION by an INDIVIDUAL who WAS NOT IN THE BIBLE and who
followed a kind of poetic structure ASSUMPTION about history itself likely the
result of PAGAN CULTURAL BAGGAGE OF THE MORE CIVILIZED SORT such as poetry and
    philosophy,

And 6 days = 6,000 years might add up to each day was a thousand years long,
which gives room for theistic evolution of some sort.

but it doesn't add up to "if this then that" regarding timing of the second coming
because there is nothing to establish this as relevant. only guesswork. it does
not automatically follow that God will bring the fallen situation to a close
    in 6,000 years.

Bishop Ussher's 4004 BC date which might be wrong, is 6,018 years ago, bearing in
mind that there is no "year zero."

I did not say that there would be no sin on the earth during the 1000 year reign of Christ. His rod of iron will forthrightly tackle that and keep the peace. And when the devil is released for that brief time, yes, for all time the whole thing of sin and evil (and those who choose that over Christ), will go away to the lake of fire.
    Stick to the subject.
There is a biblical model in creation itself that is worth looking at but who cares if you do or don't? I don't.

I am sticking to the subject. the whole post shows the origin of this idea, which

exact. you haven't dealt with the fact that the time proposed ran out in AD 2007.

no I am answering error. I am not kicking out stuff to keep busy.

it is you who keep kicking out starry eyed stuff that you think is solid biblical
because it draws on something in the Bible.

Where in the Bible does it say creation process and timing is itself a model? and it doesn't take that long to do this. and the cleaning lady doesn't do windows or dishes. she's a cleaning lady not a maid the latter do a lot more.

what happens when nothing happens in 2017 other than the normal disasters and wars
Jesus warned would happen? Crustal displacement even physical axis flip and
tsunamis, thermonuclear war, destruction of America or nearly so are just "sorrows"
    not the big deal.

are you going to start some new cult that spiritualizes everything so that somehow
we are in the tribulation but its invisible or something?

how are you going to deal with people who thought the Bible itself said this and

  89. Physicist,

"in 1934 he united with Forman and graduate student Frank Malina to form the Caltech-affiliated GALCIT Rocket Research Group, supported by Guggenheim Aeronautical Laboratory chairman Theodore von Kármán. In 1939 they gained funding from the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) to work on Jet-Assisted Take Off (JATO) for the U.S. military. In 1942 they founded Aerojet to develop and sell their JATO technology in response to American involvement in World War II; the Group became JPL in 1943....As the U.S. became aware that Nazi Germany had developed the V-2 rocket, the military—following recommendations from von Kármán based upon research using British intelligence—placed a renewed impetus on its own rocket research, reinstating Qian to the GALCIT project. They gave the Group a $3 million grant to develop rocket-based weapons, and the Group was expanded and renamed the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).[100] By this point the Navy were ordering 20,000 JATOs a month from Aerojet, and in December 1944 Haley negotiated for the company to sell 51% of its stock to the General Tire and Rubber Company to cope with the increased demand. However, Aerojet's Caltech-linked employees—including Zwicky, Malina and Summerfield—would only agree to the sale on the condition that Parsons and Forman were removed from the company, viewing their occult activities as disreputable. JPL historian Erik M. Conway also attributes Parsons' expulsion to more practical concerns: he "still wanted to work in the same way as he'd done in his backyard, instinctive and without regard for safety".[72] Parsons and Forman were unfazed, informing Haley of their prediction that the rocket industry would become obsolete in the postwar age and seeing more financial incentive in starting a chain of laundromats. Haley persuaded them to sell their stock, resulting in Parsons leaving the company with $11,000.[101] With this money he bought the lease to 1003, which had come to be known as "the Parsonage" after him.[102]"

not exactly a kick out more of a shove and persuasion. Parsons' occult interests
included antiquity and this played a role in developing rocket fuel from ideas
involving Greek fire (can't recall the source).
"In a letter to Malina, von Kármán ranked Parsons first in a list of figures he viewed as most important to modern rocketry and the foundation of the American space program.[198] According to Richard Metzger, Wernher von Braun—who was nicknamed "The Father of Rocket Science"—once argued that Parsons was more worthy of this moniker.[113] In October 1968 Malina gave a speech at JPL in which he highlighted Parsons' contribution to the U.S. rocket project, and lamented how it had come to be neglected, crediting him for making "key contributions to the development of storable propellants and of long duration solid propellant agents that play such an important role in American and European space technology."[199]"

what things are you referring to as going on unnoticed by me? if you mean the four
beasts, several other people have identified the eagle winged lion as Britain-America
I would include American puppet NATO, the bear as Russia (notice the ribs in the mouth,
which would at first glance appear to be victims but it is THE RIBS that say "arise,
devour much flesh," so they are not victims as portrayed by others but encourage it.
Crimea and South Ossetia come to mind. I think once eastern Ukraine has its act
together enough to be a viable nation state like Crimea briefly was, it will
repeat its request to be taken in by Russia and this time the request will be granted.
That will probably be the third rib, and Russia will go on the march in response
to cries for help and revenge by its acquisitions.

The four non eagle fowl winged and four headed leopard has me puzzled, I think the
best bets are China, with a not yet existent Kurdistan as a really close match.
If Turkey gets kicked out of NATO Russia will probably strike and mop up the floor
with it, and with Chinese backing also Kurdistan (in Turkey Syria and northern Iraq
and MAYBE the western Iranian part) will have its nation state condition.

These three will then be crushed and trampled by a fourth kingdom that will
conquer what's left of USA, Russia, and China (or Kurdistan which will have become
a power in the Middle East to be reckoned with) and go on to rule the world for an
uncertain length of time. ten kings or rulers would be the lifetime but how long
each reign would be is another matter. Or it could be ten regional administrative
    districts.

In the former case, in the time of the eighth ruler there will be a triumvirate,
the last three horns, and the antichrist the little horn will displace them. Or, in
the latter case, the little horn will take over three administrative regions,
which are perhaps the top regions ruling the rest, and thereby gain control of most
of the world. in the middle of his fourth year (3 1/2 years in) he will declare himself
god and start the Great Tribulation.

Daniel's prophecy on this ends with the Second Coming, because unlike the end of
the statue dream of Nebuchadnezzar, where the Kingdom of God is set up, its
beginning and establishment, the Kingdom of God comes into full power, and books are opened and there is Judgement Day. The whole thing telescoped, with more detail
    in Revelation.

I think the fourth beast kingdom will come from north Africa, where a lot of trouble
came from in early Christian times, both anathematized heretical and trends of
thought not technically heretical but twisting Scripture and creating excesses
like predestination with Augustine and his and Tertullian's ascetic extremism
against second marriages even in the case of widowhood, and Augustine arguing that
a woman kept as wife for love and pleasure not childbearing was nothing but a
legal prostitute, despite Paul saying that avoiding fornication was the reason to
be married, nothing about children. Paul even said that family life was a distraction
    (potentially at least) from God.

I'll get to the videos later, but if this is typical of it, there is a problem.
the Masonic-Jesuit relationship is more a matter of masons infiltrating them than
vice versa. Some very good research blames this for John 23 and other matters.

RC wants to have one religion, itself. naturally. that's what it does, since it is
amillennialist and thinks we are in the millennium now, and all that in Revelation
is symbolic instead of now is a foretaste of later. postmillennialism is amillennialism
    on steroids.

emergent is trying to infiltrate Catholicism via the charismatic infection, which
was ecumenist before anyone else was. Do a search on "Mr. Pentecost" David Johannes du Plessis.

Odd thing about this guy, his parents names are unknown, except for his mother's
maiden name, Kriel. No genealogy site has anything on these except one, which is
actually giving the specs on his son. something is being hidden.

Charismaticism crossed all denominational lines (even into some Armenian "Orthodox" and a slight show in Eastern ORthodox but not much except maybe in Romania) and
emergent church uses the warped version of bible reading and prayer that RC
monastics developed in the Middle Ages, so the worst of RC comes into "Protestantism" if
you can call that subjectivist category that, since Protestantism was typified by
a bible focus, however mishandled it TRIED to be objective. not experience based.
So now, the worst of RC plus charismaticism fields back into RC.
I see this as RC's effort to save souls by getting them back on track with the pope
as backfiring into heretical and demonic influenced infiltration en masse into
them, far worse than the doctrinal issues you RC bashers complain of.

    Christine,

The first extended quote from Wikipedia you give clearly backs up my view of Parson's importance rather than yours. As for the "father of rocket science", Goddard in the USA and Tsiolkovsky in the USSR are far more important figures. You don't say when von Braun and von Karman spoke highly of Parsons; long before von Braun did his great work leading to the moon landings, I suspect. And Parsons himself was glad to get out of rocketry for laundromats.

OK, he made ""key contributions to the development of storable propellants and of long duration solid propellant agents". That means he was one of several significant figures in rocket fuels, but that is only one aspect of rocketry. You need engine designers, materials scientists and many others.

Christine is correct, regarding RC being what spawned Islam. Over 1000 years of history proves otherwise. To even suggest it means you have subscribed to a comic book version of history - one that makes a good read, like pulp fiction, but has no ground in reality. It is escapist at best, and scapegoatish (I made that word up) at worst. By "scapegoatish", I mean that a person sets out to prove what he already knows to be true - that a certain entity is the root of all the world's problems, or all his problems, or all his people's problems. That entity gets the blame for everything.

To set out to prove what you already know to be true is not how one seeks the truth. It is how one sets oneself up for deception.

    It is also intellectual laziness.

I find it easy to fall into that mindset, with the ease of access to an overwhelming amount of information on the internet, most of which I take to be produced by scapegoatish people, just going by the context in which it is found.

lineage of Abraham, Moses and Jesus, but regards Jesus as merely human. In its
Christology it is a mix of Arianism and Gnosticism. Mohammed peace be NOT on his name
cobbled together a bunch of stuff out of various sources, some Christian (not Roman
jurisdiction but monophysite and heretic arian and gnostic) and a few Jewish sources
but screwed up a lot of bible history. it was a mess. Its been decades since I read
the Koran, but I saw on youtube that it claims that Alexander the Great went to
find where the sun sets, and it sets in a muddy pool in the west. yeah, scientifically
    accurate divine revelation NOT.

Rome had nothing to do with anything beyond the Bosporus and the Vatican wasn't
even making temporal power claims and only beginning to try to claim papal supremacy of
rule in all churches, over all the other patriarchates, as distinct from papal
    primacy of honor.

This was back in the days when Roman Catholicism as we know it did not exist. It
was still the Orthodox Patriarchate of Rome.

Parsons was also the one who solved the propellant problems. A crater on the back

Re:OK but Susanna can't validate this level of blasphemy. Holy Cow.

LOL You are correct. I cannot "validate" such false and malicious statements, but I can certainly refute them.

These frequently-cited quotes are, for the most part, fakes, originating in anti-catholic writings, and repeatedly regurgitated as if they were genuine.

The ones that are not outright fakes are taken out of context - the 18th century equivalent of photoshopping to make it look as if someone said something that is the opposite of what they actually said.

The Pope's real title is Vicar of Christ. The meaning of the word vicar is "representative" or "agent."

Nevertheless, a favorite anti-Catholic pastime is trying to prove that Catholics have claimed that the "Pope is God." Anti-Catholics do this by showing various quotes from (supposedly) "Catholic" works which show a Pope or a Cleric proclaiming that the Pope is either equivalent to and/or is God Himself in the flesh.

Their equally anti-Catholic disciples lick their chops with glee at the prospect of confounding uninformed Catholics with comments like, "Come on, these guys have their proof and even provide citations for them! How can you refute these claims?"

Nevertheless, in spite of all the "citations" they have managed to dig up in support of their false claims, merely providing citations is not enough in many cases. One must also show the statement in question in context (cherry-picking one phrase and interpreting it removed from its context is not only intolerable but it is also sloppy scholarship), show other related works (if possible) that corroborate the statement, and always provide correct citations.

If the Church teaches that the Pope is God in human form, then why doesn't a statement similar to that one appear in the Catechism, where just about all things that Catholics believe in are written? And be sure that if there is any evidence to the contrary, that it is published in the official Catechism and not in local ones.

    cont.

Now, let's check out one of the aforementioned 'quotes.'

1.) These words are written in the Roman Canon Law 1685: "To believe that our Lord God the Pope has not the power to decree as he is decreed, is to be deemed heretical." Father A. Pereira says: "It is quite certain that Popes have never approved or rejected this title 'Lord God the Pope,' for the passage in the gloss referred to appears in the edition of the Canon Law published in Rome in 1580 by Gregory XIII."

Looks quite believable doesn't it? Yet the problems with this quote are:

1.) Pope Gregory XIII's Canon Law was published in 1582, not 1580 (though this is not necessarily a major issue).

2.) António Pereira de Figueiredo (1761-1797) was a priest in Lisbon who published many works, including a translation of the Bible and a work entitled Tentativa Theologica (first published in 1766; it is in this work where this quote supposedly appears), in which he attacked the Papal predominancy in Portugal. The work was then translated in Latin, Spanish and Italian and sparked a controversy; eventually because of this, Pereira was excommunicated.

3.) All that Fr. Pereira says is that the passage in the gloss referred to (in other words, the passage that is referred to in the gloss) appears in the Canon Law edition. He does not say that the gloss itself appears in this edition of the Canon Law (and it doesn't). Ergo, if someone were to write a false statement in relation to another written work anywhere, it would hardly affect the truth of the referenced written work itself!

Under Investigation for Antisemitism, Walter Veith Banned in Churches by European Adventist Leaders

    5 December 2012 | Alexander Carpenter

    http://spectrummagazine.org/article/alexander-carpenter/2012/12/05/under-investigation-antisemitism-walter-veith-banned-churches
    ________________________________________________________________

Walter Veith has also been repeating several of Alberto Rivera's anti-Catholic claims cites him by name in his videos.

    ALBERTO RIVERA

Alberto Rivera (Born September 19, 1935 in Spain – Died June 20, 1997 in Oklahoma) was a Spanish-American fundamentalist Christian evangelist significant in the extreme anti-Catholic wing of Protestantism.

    Claims

He also claimed to have been a former Catholic priest himself, until he learned of the Vatican's plans for world domination. The story goes like this: Alberto Rivera attended Catholic seminary, where the Jesuits trained him to infiltrate Protestant churches to destroy them. He also learned the Vatican was responsible for, among other things, the Nazis, Communism, Freemasonry, the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln, and the Holocaust, that nuns who got pregnant secretly sacrificed their newborns to Mary, and other similarly bizarre claims. Upon learning these things he denounced the Catholic Church, and was forcibly placed in a mental institution by the Jesuits for doing so. Near death from abuse in the mental facility, he escaped from Spain to London to rescue his sister from a convent, also near death from self-flagellation (supposedly practiced in the nunnery), and they fled to the United States.

    The reality

In reality, his claims to have been a Catholic priest and his other claims have been thoroughly disproven. Indeed, those who checked out his claims found instead that he had a long history of swindling, was wanted in Spain on those charges, and, while in the U.S., had collected money for a Spanish college which never received the money. Nonetheless, in the U.S. he started a "ministry" called the Antichrist Information Center to expose the Catholic Church. His sister was not a nun, but was working in London as a live-in maid. He also blamed the Vatican for things that happened after he allegedly left the Catholic Church, such as the Jonestown mass suicide. He eventually hooked up with Jack Chick, who created several comic books based on his claims (Alberto, Double Cross, The Godfathers, The Force, Four Horsemen, and The Prophet). Chick continues to promote Rivera's story as true.

Alberto Rivera was also a King James Only advocate, and claimed all other Bible translations were created by the Jesuits to deceive Protestants or were translated from manuscripts corrupted by the Vatican. He (along with John Todd, who claimed modern translations were funded by the Illuminati) appear to be the sources of Jack Chick's own conversion to King James Onlyism.

    http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Alberto_Rivera
    ______________________________________________________________________

Note that Walter Veith is also a King James Onlyist.

Veith is also a disgruntled ex-Catholic.

I suppose that in spite of Veith's rabid anti-Catholicism, I can still find it in my heart to feel compassion for him - especially if it is true that he was brought up with certain beliefs redolent of some of the bogus beliefs propagated by priests like Fr. Leonard Feeney......according to which Protestants were going to hell in a handbasket JUST for being Protestant.......like 10-year-old Veith's dying mother who happened to be a Lutheran married to a Roman Catholic. Veith claims to have become an atheist because of this at the age of ten.

By the way, Fr. Leonard Feeney was excommunicated for peddling such beliefs.

1:59 I watched Alberto Rivera and I found him to be over the top more like an actor. However if he was a Jesuit (which have been banned by the RCC in times past) he could easily be a basic trouble maker, and he seems to have been. He did blame the RCC for Islam. I would not think he could ever serve as the basis for real research.

On the other hand, I won't entertain an NIV in my home. We have KJV's and Geneva Bibles. I completely believe the Alexandria manuscripts are corrupted and even Constance admits the NIV crowd had an agenda. Furthermore, here is a video of Emergent Church leader, Darrin Patrick. (acts 29: formerly the potty mouth pastor's group and he was on tour with Rick Warren this summer) Darrin is with some persons who sound not unlike crisis actors we have become so familiar with from multiple false flag operations and sounding very communist in their 'equality' language. Notice he leaves out Galatians and we are all one in Christ Jesus, he could even have discussed Titus but failed to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2-HlWv54_Y

Act 29 follows the Lausanne movement although they scrubbed it from the website it comes up in the google search and other places but is not seen when you click the link. They are obsessed with church planting. I see an urgency to rebuild Grahm's following. Grahm received multiple awards from the Catholics indicating to me that Rome or the Jesuits were in fact behind the united religions movement like the Bishops embrace Islam backed by catechism 841.

Patrick is currently one of the team writers for a ESV version of the counterfeit bibles in Wheaton, IL, not too far from the Theosophical society headquarters. At least one of their local act 29 churches worships on Thurs evening, in a darkened room, blasting repetitive rock songs, taking communion in the back of the room, while a woman walks around taking everybody's photo with an I-pod. The claim Jesus was a peace maker meant to bring everyone together and when I showed a church member the verse that says otherwise, it was obvious she had not read the Bible and then we broke out into small groups for private worship, not before we were told to like them on facebook. No thanks to counterfeit bibles.

  121. I totally agree with most criticisms of the modern translations, except the
criticisms I studied online about the NKJV strike me as themselves inadequate.
A classic example is quibbling over the implication of genealogy vs. generation
or some similar word, both mean the same, from the same root, both can mean
by blood or adoption. BTW reading through Genesis this morning, I noticed places
where grandsons were called sons, same issue as calling half brothers brothers.

A very good point is made about the Alexandrian text type, that we don't know
the provenance heretical or what and that even the non heretical would be
translating Greek into Coptic then back into Greek which can make confusion
when you then translate this more into English or whatever. A long time ago
the thought crossed my mind and I think was addressed by someone else, that
the non Byzantine examples could easily have been done by copyists in a
    heretical group.

In general, if you don't limit yourself to the verse you complain of, but
look at context immediate and larger (the rest of the Gospel or Epistle)
then no harm is done. But with the tendency to look at verses as standalone
things, a lot of harm can be done.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Again, veith and all his arguments mean nothing, because when you look at
the time frame involved, and at things most protestant writers don't know
or take seriously and that RC likes to minimize, there was no Roman Vatican
presence to be creating Islam in the first place in the Middle East at
that time. And the other Patriarchates had no motive to do such a thing.

Mohammed's start and subsequent history are well known, and blaming a demon
rather than the Vatican is more accurate.

The Apostles' Creed is a statement of belief from the early church (probably from the first few centuries after Jesus' death and resurrection). When the creed states, "I believe in the holy catholic church," it refers to the universal church rather than a specific branch of Christianity. The word catholic comes from the Greek word katholikos which means "universal" or "general."

    Here's something to think about:

Perhaps, in these last days (and let's assume they are, for the sake of argument), the Holy Spirit is moving things around a bit.

Is it possible that Catholics and Protestants will, through some move of God, be reunified into one holy communion under the headship of Christ (however that might happen)? Given that something like that would be possible (not easy or simple, I would hazard to guess!) isn't it possible that a "false" unification might take place parallel to the real one?

Is it not true that as long as a person confesses Jesus Christ as Lord, and submits to the leading of the Holy Spirit, they are part of the one, true, universal (catholic small "c") Church of Jesus Christ? I see a time coming soon when congregationalism will fall by the wayside, and true believers will fellowship with one another through the Spirit, out of necessity.

How many of you have participated in anti-abortion rallies and marches? Isn't it wonderful to see Protestants and Catholics working side by side to honor God by protecting innocent life? This, to me, is a small step toward what may be possible.

On the other hand, the move to unite ALL religions by those living on the Dark Side is well underway. They'll start with the more obvious ones, like Catholics unifying with Protestants, and move on from there.

So in essence, there are two "unifications" going on - a real one and a false one. How to tell the difference? Aye, there's the rub. Get on your knees, spend time in the Word, and make sure you are one of His sheep, so you can recognize His voice! He will not lead you astray.

Of course, this is all hypothetical. But is it completely outside the realm of possibility?

"The new age conspiracy is not the same as socialism, but they are fellow travelers. If you believe in the devil, they are all probably following the same spiritual leader But it's not a conspiracy per se as much as fellow travelers.....Years ago, I read a book by Malachi Martin that went in detail about the many groups working for the NWO... his conclusion was that they were not the same and that there was no single conspiracy."

    Amen, Nancy.

There are competing power struggles, but they all have the Father of Lies and Confusion as their head, and they all think they can make a better world by destroying the current one. To borrow a term from Rael Jean and Erich Isaac, they are the "Coercive Utopians", which I think is a more descriptive term than New World Order for what lies ahead.

    Dear 2.44pm,

I'm not sure who you mean by a "Watchman" so I can't google to see what is being said, but the Large Hadron Collider is a routine if vast physics experiment to see what new particles might be found at higher collision energies in the hope of making better sense of the existing pattern of them. Nowadays a lot of science journalists put a New Age spin on such things, but very few scientists do and the prosaic truth is that there is none. If you say more, I'll gladly do the same.

Marko: the only church structure that survives and even thrives under persecution is a fairly non-hierarchical one. Some people think that that is what the New Testament describes, but more relevant to what you say is that if worldwide persecution lops off the hierarchies and destroys the buildings - which are visible to the world - then there will no longer be Roman Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, Anglicans, Methodists etc; there will simply be Christians. God knows exactly what he is doing...

    ReplyDelete
  142. you don't need buildings for hierarchies, and the conspiracies that survived and thrived while still illegal in the 1700s and 1800s were hierarchical with limits
on who knew other members or who was higher in the chain of command than their
    immediate commander.

the dislike of hierarchies is a love of anarchy which is not about letting Christ
run things but about letting you run things while you confuse your fleshly leanings
with "the leading of the Holy Spirit."

The Church was describing bishops and suchlike during pagan persecutions, and
the patriarchate system was developed already when some holdover arian persecutions
    and iconoclasm persecutions happened.

leaderless resistance only works if you are a bombthrower.

"watchman" refers to people who appoint themselves as "watchmen on the walls" like God appointed Ezekiel or someone, and who without claiming (except sometimes) to
hear from God in Person, tell you what's going to happen, based very loosely on
    the Bible.

the concerns about CERN are twofold. from the scientific angle, the possibility vaguely maybe exists that some kind of particle can start a process in the earth's
core that will blow it up. More likely create some chaos but gravity should prevent
    reduction to flying boulders.

secondly, the people (especially if interested in UFOs and nephilim hybrids today) are worried that it will open a portal between universes or dimensions and let demons
through in a more physical and hard to deal with condition than the usual manifestations.

you are deceiving yourself. the Holy Spirit through Paul told how the Church should
be run. loosely, yes. flexible, yes. but who do you think YOU are to think that
you like Christ alone has all the fullness of The Holy Spirit not given to you
by measure but in entirety and all the fruits of the Holy Spirit in full development
and all His gifts as well?

who do you think you are?

YOU are the one who exalts man rather than God, you exalt YOURSELF. and you are
    only human.

Paul in Hebrews said there was change of priesthood not an elimination of priesthood.
PAul also said to be obedient to those who have the rule over you because they have
to make accounting to God for your souls so he was talking about authorities
within the church. THAT IS NOT CONSISTENT WITH ANARCHY.

a person governed by The Holy Spirit has no pitfalls to worry about? does that mean
you think that He directs your every thought and word and deed and you are no longer
human still moving towards perfection but not having it yet?

you are first cousin to some of the worst heretics including murderers and sex
cultists then, because they teach this kind of thing.

  148. "You Euro-centric take on the Daniel statue is interesting especially since you yourself have stated here that most prophesy commenters are too euro-centric!"

excuse me? it is not Eurocentric. As I have said, you HAVE to be IN the Middle
East OR A MAJOR PLAYER in the Middle East to be in prophecy.

Britain set up Israel and USA has backed it, Britain with French help rewrote
the Middle Eastern map itself. That makes them able to qualify as the winged
    lion.

(another possibility would be Kurdistan of the future as winged lion, because
they often depict themselves as eagles and lions. Iran I think also uses a winged
lion symbol at times, but if this originates from the Medes then it would be
back to the Kurds, heirs of the medes.)

Russia as Bear IS NOT EUROPEAN. Considering anything east of Poland, Austria
and western edge of Ukraine "Europe" is culturally and geographically insane,
and frankly the Balkans don't belong there either. that includes Greece.

Russia is Eurasian in blood and culture and heavily Asian leaning. To qualify as
the bear, and this not refer to some other country, Russia would have to become
a permanent boots on the ground, borders extended to the Euphrates presence in
the Middle East. and it well could do so.

The leopard could be future Kurdistan not European at all, or China, ditto.

The fourth beast would be from north Africa.

where is the eurocentricity there? the only European element is Britain America NATO which qualifies not because of protestant history but because it has shaped
and dominated and directed the Middle East for nearly 100 years and brought Israel
the center of prophecy back to its land.

I wouldn't entertain one in my home either if I were using a Protestant Bible. And in saying this there is no intention on my part to cast aspersions on Protestant Bibles in general. There are certain "Catholic" Bibles that leave much to be desired as well in their use of "inclusive language," (equality language?) as well as other equally "wooly" language that supposedly makes the Bible more "relevant" and/or "politically correct."

My reason for using a reputable Catholic Bible is because the Catholic and Protestant Old Testament canons are different. The Catholic Old Testament canon is the Septuagint. The Protestant Old Testament canon is the Hebrew Bible.

Re: Grahm received multiple awards from the Catholics indicating to me that Rome or the Jesuits were in fact behind the united religions movement like the Bishops embrace Islam backed by catechism 841.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church 841 reads:

841 The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."

In context, this is part of a greater body of teaching on the Church's plan of salvation in general.

Catholics believe that there is but one true Church founded by Christ. The Catholic Church teaches that those who through no fault of their own have not come to know the Gospels but neverhtheless sincerely live to the highest good that they DO know, can be saved - albeit said salvation is exclusively in Christ whether they know it or not. which brings us to that statement by Apostolic Father St. Irenaeus which has been so often misunderstood and misinterpreted:

"Outside the Church there is no salvation"

846 How are we to understand this affirmation, often repeated by the Church Fathers?335 Re-formulated positively, it means that all salvation comes from Christ the Head through the Church which is his Body:

Basing itself on Scripture and Tradition, the Council teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and Baptism, and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through Baptism as through a door. Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it.336

847 This affirmation is not aimed at those who, through no fault of their own, do not know Christ and his Church:

Those who, through no fault of their own, do not know the Gospel of Christ or his Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his will as they know it through the dictates of their conscience - those too may achieve eternal salvation.337

I assume that by "Grahm" you are talking about Billy Graham. In all fairness to Rev. Graham, I must say that while Rev. Graham has promoted authentic ecumenism (not syncretism ) among the Christian communions, for which he has received Catholic awards, I have never seen any evidence that Rev. Graham has ever had any involvement in the promotion of United Religions Initiative.

I can assure you that while certain dissenting priests like former Catholic theologian Hans Kung and ex Dominican priest Matthew Fox support the United Religions Initiative founded by heterodox Episcopal Bishop William Swing who ordained apostate Matthew Fox a "priest" in the Episcopal Church, the Roman Catholic Church does not. I KNOW I would not have anything to do with it.

As for Darrin Patrick, I am not familiar with him but in any case, I would not be using any Bible that he might be involved in translating.

As for the obsession with church-planting, I don't know much about that either, but from what I have read, you are not the only one who is concerned about it.

Please tell me more about what is going on with this situation. I have read that the Messianic Jews ( Christians - usually Southern Baptists claiming to be "Jewish" ) are heavily into church-planting.

  152. My take on salvation of non Christians is that they meet Christ at death, and
recognize this Personality as what led them at times in the past and accept Him.
Thus salvation is STILL only through Christ, but there is greater flexibility
in when this might happen than just up to death and that's it.

the catechetical statement regarding islam is badly phrased to put it mildly.
Islam having stolen Christian elements proposes to point its members to the God
of Abraham, but explicitly denies the deity of Christ. Also His death and Resurrection.

Now, the issue regarding a muslim would be, how does he or she take this, how
seriously does he or she take any of this especially the erroneous part? Many of
them engage in prayers at shrines some of which are sufi holy men and some are
Christian saints and Mary. This is viewed as heretical and apostate behavior
by more hardline muslims, but rarely has there been a serious effort in terms of
    violence to stop this.

A practical example would be, how effective are their exorcisms? not that effective.
Sometimes they work sometimes they don't. non Christian exorcisms often involve
application of fumes and oils from plants that are gifted by God with an inherent
hostility to demons and psychic influence in general. I don't know what the typical
Islamic exorcism would be. But where Christians of some sort are available, and
Islamic exorcisms don't work, the next step is to take the victim of this to a
Christian priest (at least Coptic). This will often work.

Another case in point comes from the UFO alien abduction scene. A Turkish woman gave
a lecture in which she detailed that her father or grandfather or great grandfather
had been attacked or about to be attacked by reptilian type aliens or whatever they
were. This guy prayed to God, which would be the Islamic false god in theory, but
in such a panic and a minimally "catechized" (for lack of a better word) muslim as
he likely was, he probably was calling to the God of Abraham essentially. This
bypasses Islamic theology and may result in a response even involving Jesus Christ.

The attack was stopped, but not entirely. The entities left him with some kind of
effect which gave him a certain amount of occult or paranormal ability, which he
    passed on to his descendants.

So there was a divine response apparently, but not an entire response. One could
then speculate that in minimally Islamic muslims, there is partial salvation.

Christians on the other hand who call on Jesus before the mind control sets in
and paralyzes the will, usually find the abduction is stopped in its tracks. the entities
are approaching and then back off, they are not already leaving and the person
woke up thinking something was beginning which was in fact ending. this latter
explanation is given by unbelievers, but the details on the events rule this out.

Obviously northern Africa is a major emerging world power...LOL

Have you ever noticed that EVERY country and kingdom mention in Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, and just about every prophet in the Bible, (and quite a few Psalms as well), is a Muslim country.
Did you notice that the Muslim religion is adamantly anti Jewish and anti Christian ? Are you aware that Christians are being slaughtered DAILY by Muslims? How much more anti Christian can it get ? Do you still believe that there are moderate muslims? There aren't any unless you are considering the women and children who are stampeding their way into this country, dutifully fulfilling the basics of jihad which is really the most basic tenant of Islam, which is not a religion so much as a fascist form of government; sharia law? You say you've read the Bible but you seem to have missed that when Jesus returns he returns to fight against Edom, Libya, Egypt, Moab, Jordan, Syria, Babylon, Persia etc etc. Are these Bible references, too numerous to mention, a mistake? Did God really mean that he was coming to fight and wipe out weak, lukewarm Christians? Is there a mention somewhere in the Bible of Christ coming to vanquish Rome? No.
Its too obvious for the intellectual mind, I guess.
Is Israel surrounded by enemies on every side, and are they not all muslim nations?
The sole purpose of the invention of the muslim "religion" is a reaction to Christianity, which was spreading like wildfire in Mumitt's time.
Get a clue. They highjack entire schools in Nigeria and sell all the children into slavery. They lie, murder, rape and torture, and
they do nothing but exactly the opposite of what the Bible teaches. Who are the enemies of God? The crescent moon and star of Ishtar/Osiris/Baal/and yes, ISIS.
The Anti Christ comes from Turkey.
Who could raise an army of five hundred million and cross the Euphrates river? Iraq/Iran/Indonesia/Afghanistan/Pakistan among others, could easily do just that. Those countries all presently murder Christians on a daily basis.
Oh there's judgement coming for America alright, but I don't believe it comes close to the fury that God has for Islam.

  155. paul,

you are assuming all this hell is going to break loose in the next year or so.

FIRST the lion has to have its wings plucked off and a major step down in power
and step up in quality more like a man made in the image of God instead of a
ferocious beast. In other words, repentance. This means a military destruction,
or else a Carrington Event that ruins us.

Russia will have to get into a war with Turkey, overrun it and annex it and possibly
other Middle Eastern land. The stage is set in Putin's challenge to Erdogan to
go to hell and take his ISIS crew with him and that Putin will turn Syria in a
Stalingrad for Erdogan if he puts in fighters and troops into Syria. Which is
    already starting a little.

This is not likely to play out for at least another six months and if Erdogan backs
down, some other event will bring Russia into the Middle east PERMANENTLY, or else
be the empire (it is since tsarist times, and mostly built by defensive war) that
rewrites the Middle Eastern map AGAIN.

Kurdistan will have to become a reality and a major power in the Middle East, and it could. the four wings of a fowl not an eagle could mean the four supports for it
which would likely be what is left of USA, Russia, and China and, yes, Israel.

Or else China has to become a major permanent presence in the sense of boots on the
ground and extension of borders into the Middle East. Their dislike of jihadis might
result in this, they have such problems at home and know who to blame for it. But
their tendency to operate indirectly might work against this. they have opened an
embassy or consulate I forget which in Southern Kurdistan (which is northern Iraq)
so likely might end up pressuing IRan to allow Eastern Kurdistan its freedom.
The four heads of the leopard in this case would be the four Kurdistans under an
umbrella government, which would be secularist and tolerant, except for the islamist
element among them which, thanks to ISIS grossing the rest of them out, will be
strictly limited. The differences between the four Kurdistans are enough that they
will likely never be united the way Kurdish dreamers want.

After these four are stabilized in this condition, which will take another 5 years at least, and have continued for an uncalculatable period of time, the fourth
    empire will arise.

That might not happen for at least 100 years or maybe in 50. Sure, north Africa
is not a rising power now. We don't know what will happen later. But if these
associations I have drawn are correct, then the four beasts come from the four
corners more or less of the earth, so the fourth has to come from the south. Definitely
if the leopard is China, which is leopard habitat and has a reputation for both stealth and patience and decisive action. But Kurdistan to a lesser degree is also
leopard habitat, and they have a reputation for stealth also. And I have rarely
seen a Kurd where the light is reflecting off the retinas, and the red reflex
shows. It is usually white. Which means they have good low light vision. A real
advantage. And catlike. May have added to their stealth reputation that got them
mislabeled as children of the djinn.

Paul, you are making the classic mistake fostered by all the prophecy experts from
the days of the Reformation (and a few chiliastic movements up to a thousand
years ago almost) of thinking that everything is about to play out in your lifetime.

    ReplyDelete
  156. as for the atrocities, yes, I know all about them. Trump is the only candidate
saying one word about it, which is why I am seriously considering voting for him.

Speaking of Christians, if the leopard is Kurdistan, there will be a Christian
contingent to the government. It is already 10% Christian, and Christian militias
are forming under Peshmerga guidance. There is an Assyrian ("Assyrian first and
Christian second") group which wants no subordination to anyone, but they aren't
    the majority element.

the coalition you speak of that Christ fights, is the Gog Magog war, which is
specified in Revelation as happening after satan is released from his thousand
year bondange to tempt the nations one more time, and they attack Jerusalem to
unseat Christ as King, which doesn't work too well.

Christ comes back AFTER the tribulation to destroy the antichrist, who by that
time will already have been in control of Jerusalem for at least 3 1/2 years
if not more, since he will be presenting himself in the Temple as being god.

MCE you are so ignorant of God's Word and the dealings of the Holy Spirit it is sad. Yet you "correct" others?
Greater is HE that is in me, than he that is in the world. Look it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am born again by the Spirit of Christ Jesus, and ask by faith for, and am filled by, His Spirit to be taught by Him, and yes, He can use men to some degree but the Spirit is, in fact, my teacher just as Jesus taught his disciples of the role the Spirit would fulfill (in the upper room discourse) before He went to the cross. The Spirit has the mind of Christ. Men don't have this naturally, they have to receive this spiritual discernment supernaturally.
Are you even a disciple of Christ in the first place???
Are you operating only on some "head" knowledge, without the indwelling of God's Spirit in your heart? That is so fundamental to the Word of God, yet you have missed this important understanding???? If this is a lack that is taught by your favorite hierarchy, instead of the Spirit of the Living God, then I can see how you missed this teaching from the Bible since that is where your confidence lies. You exalt the flesh of your own mind (and others too I guess).............
You are trusting man's teaching much more than God, if that is the case.

got wind of this and started getting upset.

But blood moon tetrad got into the act, and such have occurred in some centuries with nothing

What has my attention is predictive programming. This is where things turn up that point in movies to something going to happen somewhere, that later DOES happen.

6:34 Allah is the moon god therefore he cannot be Abraham's God. Let us examine what Allah says and you will find a stark difference between the God of Abraham and Allah. This is the very least the RCC should know and I expect they do know. However, since the ecumenical movement is coming from them or one or more of their or faces or satellite cults, naturally Allah is the same god, the names can change with each culture, this is the pagan way isn't it? I mean mamma-baby worship can be Queen Mary and baby Jesus or Isis and Osiris, right?

II Peter 3:3 " Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, (4) And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation, (5) For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: (6) Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished. (7) But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgement and perdition of ungodly men. (8) But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

"But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing..."
Does that sound like Peter was making a broad generalization which isn't meant to be taken literally or seriously?
And Peter is not the only one. Barnabas says the exact same thing: six days of creation followed by a day of rest, equals six thousand years followed by a millennial kingdom of God. Keep in mind that "creation" usually refers to the creation of the "world" , not the universe or even the earth. The world and the Hebrew calendar begins with Adam and Eve, just about six thousand years ago now, give or take calendric changes and false information and deliberate lies.
Ertugin of Turkey considers himself the Caliph of the new Ottoman Empire. Whether it's him or not the Ottoman Empire is re-forming right now. The Ottoman Empire was the eastern half of the Roman Empire, and included northern Africa. It survived the collapse of the Roman Empire and morphed into something that lasted until the end of the first World War.
2017 is exactly 70 years from the formation of Israel. 70 years was how long they spent in Babylon, paying for their sins until God miraculously returned them to their homeland and Cyrus let them rebuild the temple.
For the last 68+ years, Israel has been a nation under siege in a perpetual state of fear. The abomination of desolation is that
dome on the rock where the enemies of God gather every day to pray for the destruction of Israel, yet somehow they cannot accomplish their hearts desire, because God won't answer their pagan prayers, ever.

  171. Paul I have already refuted that but I will do so again.

firstly, your statement about Peter's words could have been said by someone
expecting everything to be finalized within the first few centuries after Christ.
So that isn't a valid take on it.

Secondly, the idea of 6,000 years orienting around creation of Adam and Eve is
NOWHERE IN SCRIPTURE, it is strictly a deduction based on an ASSUMPTION which
    presupposes some mechanistic thing.

Thirdly, if everything was created in 6 days, then Adam and Eve were created the
same year as the rest of the universe, and if that is 6,000 years of creation,
then they must have lived 1,000 years before they fell - make that 2,000 years.

But in any case, creation is usually taken as beginning about 4,000 BC, correct?

4000 - 4000 - 0 but there is no year zero, so you take 1 year off the rest of it,
and add 2014 (instead of 2015) to that 0 and you get SIX THOUSAND AND FOURTEEN
YEARS at least, which is 14 or more years OVERDUE.

I think Bishop Ussher's calculation of 4004 BC may have been a bit off by maybe
a few hundred years and when you consider that the Septuagint has a person in the
begats before Noah who is absent from the Masoretic, and the Septuagint drew on
older texts and the Masoretes admitted they had a partly corrupt text to work with,
you can figure at least 100 and something more years off. https://theorthodoxlife.wordpress.com/2012/03/12/masoretic-text-vs-original-hebrew/

So time ran out on that 6,000 year thing - WHICH IS NOT A BIBLE STATEMENT BUT A
    HUMAN DEDUCTION.

  172. Peter focusses on the fact of creation by God (as opposed to pagan theories
that included an evolution and immense time) NOT on the time it was done in.

Barnabas is not inspired Scripture. ONLY THINGS WRITTEN BY OR AT THE BEHEST
OF APOSTLES WAS ACCEPTED BY THE EARLY CHURCH, the later councils reiterated
this choice against some things that crept in that were not Apostolic, and not
all were false like heresy, but they were not something to base doctrine on
or read in Holy Liturgy as divinely authoritative on the same level as the
Old Testament writings. This council also resolved disputes over a few epistles
as to whether they were Apostolic or not.

Barnabas was not an Apostle, and he wrote after the Apostles were dead so did
not do so with an Apostle standing by to correct or guide him.

MCE every time you talk prophecy or anything else Bible it does not bear witness of the Holy Spirit. You are only going on the flesh of your own mind. This is error. You have bought the lie.

At the time of salvation we are saved, and we are being saved, and we will be saved. God does a complete work in the heart.
You are a cake not turned.
You don't understand this because you do not rely upon God's Spirit to teach you, whether prophecy or the Bible in general.

Jesus taught His disciples in the upper room, what we are to know also. John 17:14-26. Specifically verses 20-22.
You need the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and since you do not have Him in residence within you, you are on your own.
Not going well and won't end well for you, unless you get sealed by the Spirit now.
Repent and believe------you need the Savior and His atoning work for your soul. The Lord Jesus is at hand and will be coming soon--you are going to be ashamed before Him if you don't.
Romans 10:8-17 is what you need.

Barnabas makes one error of fact, something you don't find in Scripture: that the
hyena changes its sex every year. The females have an unusually large clitoris
and (like the Cape Hunting Dog which does not have this feature) the females rule,
so a false impression was had by observers who, for safety in the days before
telephoto lenses and binoculars, would have been distant observers and occasionally
    have a carcase.

Barnabas puts a spiritual interpretation on OT law without denying its literality,
something Origen went beyond I think. Also there are things in the description of
the LAw that are either absent in the Masoretic but present in the LXX (which I
haven't read through yet) or were practices that developed in the Temple which
were slightly different than the Law.

"The Sabbath is mentioned at the beginning of the creation [thus]: “And God made in six days the works of His hands, and made an end on the seventh day, and rested on it, and sanctified it.” Attend, my children, to the meaning of this expression, “He finished in six days.” This implies that the Lord will finish all things in six thousand years, for a day is with Him a thousand years. And He Himself testifies, saying, “Behold, today will be as a thousand years.” Therefore, my children, in six days, that is, in six thousand years, all things will be finished. “And He rested on the seventh day.” This means: when His Son, coming [again], shall destroy the time of the wicked man, and judge the ungodly, and change the-sun, and the moon, and the stars, then shall He truly rest on the seventh day. Moreover, He says, “You shall sanctify it with pure hands and a pure heart.” If, therefore, any one can now sanctify the day which God has sanctified, except he is pure in heart in all things, we are deceived. Behold, therefore: certainly then one properly resting sanctifies it, when we ourselves, having received the promise, wickedness no longer existing, and all things having been made new by the Lord, shall be able to work righteousness. Then we shall be able to sanctify it, having been first sanctified ourselves. Further, He says to them, “Your new moons and your Sabbath I cannot endure.” Isaiah 1:13 You perceive how He speaks: Your present Sabbaths are not acceptable to Me, but that is which I have made, [namely this,] when, giving rest to all things, I shall make a beginning of the eighth day, that is, a beginning of another world. Wherefore, also, we keep the eighth day with joyfulness, the day also on which Jesus rose again from the dead. And when He had manifested Himself, He ascended into the heavens."

This is an effort to draw an analogy, and while he begins the letter by saying he
brings things to his readers that Jesus taught most of the letter after that is
about things clearly of Scripture and not of deduction and analogy and gets to that
    later.

Even if the 6,000 year thing is correct, Jesus' Incarnation, or else His Crucifixion
and Resurrection, are the beginning of the Kingdom of God and the new creation.
Therefore you could better argue that the Second Coming is c. AD 6,000 or so.

you can't decipher the sentence? English is your second language? let's try again.

What Peter said in the FIRST century you are taking as grounds for timing in the
    TWENTY FIRST century.

Since it was wrong to expect immediacy then, as history shows, you can't take it for
immediacy now. the only imminent arrival Jesus speaks of is when all those things
He listed came to pass AT THE SAME TIME, in the same generation.

Peter does not address timing like the 6,000 year thing, so this quote is irrelevant
to that. Like quoting Jesus when He said to get a boat for Him to get into, to make
a point about determining when Joseph entered Egypt.

Peter's statement was about God being the creator and His power He did not mention
the time it took to make everything. So the 6 days are only mentioned by inference,
in that he refers to an event in Genesis which says 6 days and doesn't say "by the
way it wasn't 6 days but more or less."

Pagan philosophy had many theories some remarkably modern seeming, and Peter's
statement goes against all that, it does not address timing of the Second Coming.

Peter's plain words do not speak about timing. So you are wrong in applying them.

Barnabas is not isn't Scripture so must be wrong but isn't Scripture so COULD be
wrong. I have already shown one point where it IS wrong, the hyena thing, so
the other matter could be wrong, but since you have the option of counting the
6,000 years starting from the Incarnation or the REsurrection, that ruins certainty
    on what is talked about.

An Orthodox person had some vision of Jesus Christ saying something like this, but
again, this could be referring to the New Creation He began. The vision doesn't
specify it. God is often cryptic.

  179. anon 9:44 are you the one saying I need the indwelling of the Holy Spirit or

Sabbath keeping is part of the abrogated Law of Moses (ritual and external
observance part). Sunday was NEVER the Sabbath (an ignorant local western Synod
to the contrary notwithstanding) it was always the FIRST day of the week not
the seventh, and it is observed as THE LORD JESUS CHRIST'S DAY OF RESURRECTION.

Romans 14:5, 6,7 obviously makes the Sabbath not important. it is not as serious
a rejection of Jesus' Covenant as circumcision and keeping Mosaic law is, so is
given slack. Paul is severe about circumcision and food laws. Gal. chapter 4:10
denounces observing days and so forth, and the entire Epistle of Galatians
addresses the Mosaic external covenant law as abrogated in Christ.Colossians 2:16,17
"Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon OR OF THE SABBATH DAYS [that's weekly and high holy]

"Which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body [which casts the shadow\
    is of Christ."

It's amazing to me that no one has commented about God's 7 Holy Feast Days. Jesus Christ fulfilled the first 4 Spring Feasts (1. Passover, 2. Unleavened Bread, 3. First Fruits, 4. Shavaot /Pentecost) at His 1st Coming. So, Jesus Christ will fulfill the last 3 Fall Feasts (5. Trumpets, 6. Atonement/Judgement Day, 7. Tabernacles) as well. #5 Trumpets will be the next Feast to be fulfilled. Some consider #5 Trumpets to be the Rapture, as I do. The 10 days from #5 Trumpets to #6 Atonement/Judgement Day is considered to be the Days of Awe, also considered to be the Time of Jacobs Trouble or Great Tribulation. Following God's Holy Feasts Days tell me the Rapture will happen before Great Tribulation when the "fulness of the gentiles" comes to salvation and then God will focus back on Israel to get the nation to accept Jesus Christ as their Messiah. Rapture/Great Tribulation/Judgement Day and then God Tabernacles with us on earth in the flesh as Jesus Christ for 1,000 years."

okay if late 1800s is the first that anyone tried to use the Hebrew Calendar to
calculate the Second Coming, then I doubt the Illuminati invented the system, more
likely exploited and promoted it one way or another. But that isn't impossible
that they invented it, so if we can find the first source of the idea, that JEsus
comes back on such and such a Mosaic feast day, and investigate THAT person.....

Chris White in one of his videos debunks the whole idea, showing that Jesus fulfilled
    any significance the feasts have.

The three big festivals at which all able-bodied Israelite males were supposed to make pilgrimage to Jerusalem were Passover, FirstFruits, Tabernacles. The first two had messianic fulfilment in the crucifixion and Pentecost. how anybody can think that Tabernacles has already been fulfilled in Christ I cannot understand; it is transparently the festival at which he will return in power to put the world aright. It is the harvest festival, a joyous rather than a sombre festival, and the festival that the gentiles are welcome at. We don't know what year He will come but we do know the time of year - autumn in Jerusalem.
