Well, 2013 has come and gone -- I can't say I'm sorry to see it go. There was a hint of good news for Catholic opponents of the "Obama Care" aka "Affordable Care Act". Justice Sonia Sotomayor signed a stay prohibiting enforcing legislation directing religious organizations to provide contraceptive care for their employees. We now have received further "cheery news" that NSA may have been intercepting shipments of "smart phones" to implant further tracking devices before shipment to the prospective owners. The news source was allegedly Edward Snowden.
On the good side, today my alma mater, Michigan State University (part of my undergraduate education and now where my law school is established -- the former DCL now known as Michigan State University School of Law) WON THE ROSEBOWL! I'm not much of a sports fan, let alone football, but one can't help but get at least a little happy when their team wins.
Happy New Year to all!

What is in the winds for 2014? A resurgence of the OCCUPY MOVEMENT?
ReplyDeleteThe Occupy movement is partly inspired by the Arab Spring,[21][22] and the Portuguese[23] and Spanish Indignants movement in the Iberian Peninsula,[24] as well as the Tea Party movement.[25][26][27] The movement commonly uses the slogan We are the 99%, the #Occupy hashtag format, and organizes through websites such as Occupy Together.[28] According to The Washington Post, the movement, which has been described as a "democratic awakening" by Cornel West, is difficult to distill to a few demands.[29][30] On 12 October 2011, Los Angeles City Council became one of the first governmental bodies in the United States to adopt a resolution stating its informal support of the Occupy movement.[31] In October 2012 the Executive Director of Financial Stability at the Bank of England stated the protesters were right to criticise and had persuaded bankers and politicians "to behave in a more moral way".[32]
The technology research and advisory firm Gartner predicts a resurgence of the Occupy movement by the end of 2014.[33]
From Wikipedia article "Occupy Movement" 1-2-2014

ReplyDeleteI do believe the "Occupy Movement" has been the New Age Movement's long awaited revolution, or at least its redistributionist wing, in progress.
ReplyDeleteFrom the same Wikipedia article, prognostications and praises from some of the usual suspects:
Egyptian protesters from Tahrir Square have lent their support of the movement. A message of solidarity issued by a collective of Cairo-based protesters declared: "As the interests of government increasingly cater to the interests and comforts of private, transnational capital, our cities and homes have become progressively more abstract and violent places, subject to the casual ravages of the next economic development or urban renewal scheme. An entire generation across the globe has grown up realizing, rationally and emotionally, that we have no future in the current order of things."[338] In early December 2011, business magnate Richard Branson said the movement is a "good start", that they have been protesting for valid reasons, and that if the business community takes some of their concerns on board they will have made a difference.[339] On 15 December, Jesse Jackson said that Jesus Christ, Gandhi and Martin Luther King were all occupiers, and that: "Occupy is a global spirit, which is now sweeping the nation and the world, fighting for justice for all of God's children".[36][340] A global survey of 23 countries published by Ipsos on 20 January 2012 found that around 40% of the world's citizens are familiar with the movement. Over twice as many reported a favourable response to the movement compared to those who dislike it. Support for the movement varied markedly among countries, with South Korea (67%), Indonesia (65%), and India (64%) reporting the highest sympathy – while Australia (41%), Japan (41%), and Poland (37%) reporting the lowest.[172]

Constance,

Where was I hearing about Stanford ?
Stanford that bastion of New Age propaganda.
Yes, I thopught of the SRI and old Willis Harman, too! Thanks, Paul!
ReplyDeleteConstance
When my Uncle Bob took me through Stanford's bookstore back in the 1980s, there was far more "metaphysics" than "physics" in the Physics Department of it. That's where I also happily found my hardcover edition of THE HARMONIOUS CIRCLE by James Webb on sale -- at a greatly reduced price because they were trying to get rid of it. It was Webb's critical analysis of the Gurdjieffian branch of the New Age Movement.

Thank you! I am very happy about your team winning Constance, you definitely deserve it ... and as Paul rightly asserts against Stanford of all places: how poetic! :)
ReplyDeleteMay you enjoy many more victories throughout 2014 and beyond.
Happy New Year Paul!
Well, I will be honest I was rooting for Stanford. I am a pac-12 man. Of course I live here on the west coast. But congratulations to Michigan St. They played a great game and they were the better team. I very much enjoyed the game. That was really historic being the 100th Rose Bowl. Just think of what life was like when the Rose Bowl started back in 1914 and how much has changed very quickly.
ReplyDeleteVery, very sad. Singer Katy Perry, the daughter of evangelists Keith & Mary Hudson, has very publicly renounced her Christianity. She claims to have been influenced by ECKART TOLLE. Her parents once lived in Wenatchee, Washington. I spoke there, as I recall, in 1988 and perhaps another time - June 1988 for sure. I don't know if anybody here knows the parents, but perhaps forwarding them an electronic copy of HIDDEN DANGERS might be a helpful resource for them. If I knew how or where to reach them, I would do it myself.

If Katy Perry was a Christian before her announcement then it was a strange kind of one. She married a man who had never been a Christian in a Hindu wedding ceremony. Unhappily it didn't last. I hope she finds the faith of her parents.

I recently talked with a person involved with development of the new SU hospital. Single donations have reached $100M from individual givers. These often left-leaning givers don't give a $100M to an org that doesn't share their beliefs.

INTERNET OF THINGS -- WHERE IT IS HEADED -- Time to brush up on Revelation 13!
ReplyDeleteThe Internet of Things (or IoT for short) refers to uniquely identifiable objects and their virtual representations in an Internet-like structure. The term Internet of Things was proposed by Kevin Ashton in 2009.[1] The concept of the Internet of Things first became popular through the Auto-ID Center at MIT and related market analysis publications.[2] Radio-frequency identification (RFID) was seen as a prerequisite for the Internet of Things in the early days. If all objects and people in daily life were equipped with identifiers, they could be managed and inventoried by computers.[3][4] Besides using RFID, the tagging of things may be achieved through such technologies as near field communication, barcodes, QR codes and digital watermarking.[5][6]
Equipping all objects in the world with minuscule identifying devices or machine-readable identifiers could transform daily life.[7][8] For instance, business may no longer run out of stock or generate waste products, as involved parties would know which products are required and consumed.[8] A person's ability to interact with objects could be altered remotely based on immediate or present needs, in accordance with existing end-user agreements.[3]
from Wikipedia article on Internet of Things. Al Jazeera America just had an interview on the IOT tonight and how much it could soon impact our lives. The "hour of temptation" to come upon all the earth as a snare? Could be!
Constance
Hi Constance,
ReplyDeleteWhat was Al Jazeera's take on the IoT? Were they supportive, or against, or neither?
We must use discernment when listening to anything put out on Al Jazeera's website. Same goes with RT. They are both propaganda arms of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Kremlin, respectively, and therefore are ANTI-American. They may speak the truth about some things, but always in a light to make the US looks bad in the world's eyes. Not that we are perfect, by any means. But there is a strategy being employed by enemies who want to see the United States gone as a world power, and part of that strategy is to make the United States government look evil, and the rest of the world's governments look good in comparison, so an attack on the US can be justified in the eyes of the rest of the world.
The sad thing is, in our wish for a better world here in America, we find it easy to grab ahold of anti-government sentiments ourselves, and can unwittingly end up supporting those strategies. Yes, things need to be changed, but there is still a right way and a wrong way to do so.
Think long, think hard, and pray about who you call "enemy" and who you call "friend". The TSA, NSA, FBI, etc, might be corrupt, but it is not they who would destroy your homeland - it is Russia and China and others who have no love for the West, or for God, or for anything that is good about America. So they do what they can to highlight what is bad about America, so as to make themselves look better in their own eyes. Evil has a way of convincing itself that it is doing good....
Obama is doing his best to create the environment for violent change. It is who he is. His revolutionary policies and the policies of the government seem to me to be designed to cause a counter-revolution from the right in this country. Once that path is taken, things will get hectic real quick. What will be the "shot heard 'round the world" in the coming chaos? I don't know. But the whole Obamacare fiasco has taken us a lot closer.
As a Christian, I must ask myself: Does God want me to participate in such a counterrevolution? Do I take up arms against a corrupt government? Questions that need answering before those are: Is the coming chaos part of God's judgment against America? Do I love political freedom and "my life" here in America more than I love Jesus? He calls us to lay our lives down and follow Him. There are times to fight, and times not to fight. I used to think about, and look forward to, the "Second American Revolution". But no so much now. I still love all the right and good that this country once stood for, but I feel like this time around, with much sadness, I must sit it out and spend my energies on rescuing the lost while they still may be rescued.
Ultimately is it Satan who is the real enemy. He uses whatever he can to divide, destroy, distract and deceive. Resist HIM, and he will flee.
Perhaps the path I choose is not for all. God may call some to give their lives in protection of this nation. Perhaps He will change my mind and call me to do the same. But right now, I think it is better to lay low, and rescue those who are still rescuable. We will be witnesses against the lies and deception that are coming. And many of us will pay with our lives. Such a high cost to us, but if it saves someone from being captured by the enemy, then so be it!
Another view is that the United States is and has been a beast nation for some time. Worse, these actions are done in the name of Christianity, or the same Christianity, Civilization, and Commerce of nineteenth century greedy colonialism.
ReplyDeleteLee Penn writes that once the institutions of God are completely taken over for evil purposes, there is no where for true believers to find refuge and that Christ simply must return. It is none other than the USA leading the charge in fake Christianity and modern religion as a New Age indoctrination pathway, as Constance has so thoroughly documented.
And as you mentioned, the NSA, FBI, et al have the systems in place to make the US the dystopian state of control unmatched by any previous country. Folks do not realize that right ring radio, their local evangelical church are leading the charge towards evil, especially by inoculating people from seeing the reality as the first half of Marco's post demonstrates.
It is the US that is the danger, not Russia or the Muslims. Since the 1950's, the US has unleashed its global power, and each drone attack victim blotted out from fire called down from heaven can attest to this.
While it is true that our own government agencies and bureaucrats are busy destroying freedom and are evil in the sense that they are anti-God and yes, anti-Christian, when I try to look at the big picture, I try to make judgments based on past history.
ReplyDeletePerhaps, though, this is not the best way to look at things, however, esp. in regards to the New Age, and what plans are being made for the future? Just because some group or person has been evil in the past, does not mean they are the main concerns moving forward. So I am willing to adjust my views as history unfolds. I've done so in the past, and I'm sure I will do so again.
But looking at the PRESENT, I can state without fear of contradiction that China and Islam are NOW killing many more people (with a predisposition toward killing Christians) than America. And do we kill journalists for speaking the truth about our leaders? No. Russia (Putin), however, does. That makes the whole bunch of them MORE evil in my book than anything here, with a handful of exceptions, like our very own president.
When I see statements like "It is the US that is the danger, not Russia or the Muslims. Since the 1950's, the US has unleashed its global power, and each drone attack victim blotted out from fire called down from heaven can attest to this", I do not understand them. How can one state that since the 50's, America is the greatest danger in the world? It makes no sense to me. It is nonsense. So maybe we are the great Satan? That's what Islamic radicals call us! Please do not echo their lies.
You and I can still do pretty much whatever we please, without getting tossed in jail. We pretty much have a good food supply, a good water supply, good infrastructure, good services, etc, etc, compared to the majority of the rest of the world. The Gospel can still be preached (whether it IS or not is another thing, and it is being taught less and less) without reprisals from the government, and without violent reactions from various groups. That is changing though, sadly. But even so, we are still the freest, richest, and most-blessed nation on this earth.
It saddens me to see so many people out here in Internetland immerse themselves in so much negativity toward America by visiting conspiracy and far right (and far LEFT) websites, when there are more apropos recipients of that negativity. As I've stated before, I often wonder if there are active agents behind some of those sites, stirring up anti-US sentiments. That such things occur is shown to be true by studying the history of the Soviet Union's "active measures" against the West, for example.
As far as the future goes, I mention Russia and China a lot here because I think the threat they pose is still very real.
As I see it, there is going to be a phase of history that will include another world war, and after that phase (however long or short) will come the New Age messiah, to "save us from ourselves". I do not think it will be some gradual Big-Brotherish police state that takes over here in America. I think we will be attacked (most likely an EMP attack?), and law and order will disappear. There may be a brief attempt at a period of martial law, but it will likely not work. I see the likelihood of Chinese troops coming to my door as being higher than seeing FBI or some other US govt. agency troops coming to my door. But an invasion force, whoever might be a part of that, may not arrive for some time after the initial attack, while they wait for us to fall apart from within.
I only speak of what I think most likely. The New Agers will have their day, of that I'm certain. How it will come about is where I differ with many here.
Has anyone considered that there may be good people in government making decisions at high levels, in order to save this country from the destruction they think is coming? Perhaps not all who rule over us are evil. Maybe there's a Joseph hidden among them that God has placed there to help his people here in America when the time comes.
Marko
ReplyDeleteYHVH, I do not believe will call anyone to give their lives in protection of this nation .For an account of what will shortly befall this country see Jeremiah chapter 50-51. These chapters simply can not fully apply to any other nation in the world but the U.S. The destruction will be total, as verse 39-40 state.
39 Therefore the wild beasts of the desert with the wild beasts of the islands shall dwell there, and the owls shall dwell therein: and it shall be no more inhabited forever, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation.
40 As ELOHIYM overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbor cities thereof, saith YHVH; so shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein.
Jeremiah 50-51 clearly shows this complete fulfillment of this prophecy is for the last days. It also shows who will bring this judgement upon us. No need for speculation about government agencies, or China.
Im grateful I was born in this nation, and have been blessed here. It is only temporary, as I look for an eternal home that will not pass away. As is common in nations in general, much good has resulted from the existence of this nation, and much evil.
Well said Marko at 12.38pm. People who live in the USA and see corruption but do not travel widely often do not appreciate that other places are far worse. As with individuals, so with nations - all are fallen but some behave better or worse than others at each era in history.
ReplyDeleteI live in Britain and have travelled the world including the USA and I can assure you that you are right.
Let those who wish to criticise the USA, whether they are themselves citizens or not, do so only out of love for it. There is no reason why Americans should listen to anybody who hates their nation.
Isn't it nice and quiet here at the moment...?
Poofery!! Intellectualism without the work of showing what is going by names of people and organizations Staying above the hard work. After all someone else will do the work to show how brilliant you really are. Apply your way of analysis to any other branch of knowledge, physics, biology, history, health care, medicine or name the topic and we would still be in the dark ages. You may be brilliant, but prove it. Opposing you are people who also come up with unverifiable philosophy, poofery. Until you start documenting, all you will have is access to a small cult of believers who seem to have the same set of information and you can be happy together.

Anonymous 2:13
Which poster are you addressing?
At the risk of becoming like another proliferate poster here, I would like address anonymous 2:13's concerns. They are, of course, valid.
ReplyDeleteI am what should be called an "armchair philosopher". I read a lot, but very little of what I write (about Russia/China/etc) is what I'd call actual research. It is more conclusions that I've drawn based on other people's research, which is documented in books, interviews, and other media.
Others have done the heavy lifting, and have written books based on their research, and so I benefit from their efforts. Some of the books are first-hand accounts of strategies that were indeed in place at the height of the Cold War. There are too many of these from a variety of positions and vantage points to dismiss them flippantly.
To get an idea of the body of research that points to a deception-based strategy still in operation today among Eastern powers, please check out the following thread, in which a number of books are listed that support that thesis:
http://thefinalphaseforum.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=96
I have not come close to reading all of them. I don't know anyone that has. But the above thread should demonstrate that what I'm talking about is more than mere "poofery". The thesis that Russia (and maybe others) had a plan of deception in place (to make the West think we won the Cold War, while they continued with their plans using a different tactic) and for the most part carried it out is certainly not unverifiable. Golitsyn provided over 100 unique and falsifiable elements to the Soviet plan for foisting deception upon the West that, at the time of his defection, had not yet been implemented. Of those, around 95% came to pass. That is pretty substantial evidence that the strategies Golitsyn disclosed were in fact still in operation. Nyquist and others continue the research of showing that some kind of anti-Western strategy is still in place today, however altered it may have become from it's original planning c. the late 1950's.
--+-----
It might be good for someone to collect a list of books documenting research into the New Age movement, and it's plans and strategies.
Constance: Perhaps you could put up a blog post with such a list? It may seem like redoing what you've already done, but for some it would be a handy guide.
--+-----
What it comes down to is this: None of us has a grip on the total truth about any one topic, especially something that has so many different aspects, centers of influence, or whatever you want to call them. We are like the blind men in the parable about the elephant - we each can "feel" just a part of the elephant, so when we describe what we know, it's not a perfect description. For her part in the research into the New Age Movement, Constance has taken the writings of New Agers themselves, and extrapolated from those her views of what lies ahead. They may be exaggerated at times, but maybe not. Maybe they are not exaggerated enough!
Anyway... to say that what is talked about here is "Poofery" simply sounds like someone shooting arrows in the dark at nothing in particular.
Concerning the soon coming judgement of Yah on the U.S.
ReplyDeleteagain Jeremiah chapter 50 verse 40:
40 As ELOHIYM overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbor cities thereof, saith YHVH, so shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein.
Then read the Thursday January 2 2014 post at: www.parablesblog.blogspot.com titled "Somber Signs in the New Year"
Marko,
ReplyDeleteThen why bother with vain philosophy?
As you say, there are so many different aspects, centers of influence. No man can clearly see principalities, and powers clearly unless the Lord reveal it to him. Posters here speak of fighting NA. There is no successful battle against NA. It is a juggernaut. Maybe a tiny victory here n there, but the beast lives on. Until the Lord returns, the Prince of this world will wax stronger, and deceive the masses more and more, to the point were good is labeled evil, and evil is labeled good! The best way to fight darkness is to pray, and to proclaim the light of the gospel, and witness this to others.
The Lord may say to me "you became an expert on the New Age, and global politics, did you tell anyone about my Son?
ReplyDeleteAnon 4:56, 5:00,
ReplyDeleteYes, we will answer to the Lord for all of our "idleness". Of the making of many books, there is no end, and all of it is vanity, to loosely paraphrase something Solomon said.
Serving the Lord, in whatever capacity He has called us to, is our "prime directive". I think what drives most of those who post here is to document for others what lies ahead. There are those who may stumble upon this blog who, when the time of deception and confusion comes, may remember something said here about being watchful, being careful about who you listen to. This would be life-saving advice!
I agree that the idea of "fighting the New Age" might seem preposterous, but maybe the Lord will tarry for generations yet. Who knows what small effort here might not inspire a legion of Christ-followers in some distant time? Are you the one who who has walked the paths of time to know which efforts are in vain and which are valiantly played?
You are right though... whatever research we do, if we do not point to Jesus as the only way to God, and help in the harvesting of souls for the Kingdom, then all of our works will burn up, though we ourselves are saved "by the skin of our teeth" as the saying goes.
However this blog and others like it fit into the following verses, God will judge.
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.
Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
--2 Peter 1:3-11
Marko, I posted the comment about poofery and I knew you would understand. Jesus understood and worked at the level of the people, understanding what was needed. When asked about the wine at Cana, he didn't say he could distract with a speech. When loaves and fishes were needed, he didn't tell the people to keep quiet and listen to his preaching. He made arrangements for the last supper. He didn't say forget the food; time is short so listen. He acknowledged what happened in the past. We have only a fraction of what went on in those three years, what he talked about, what was going on around him in those years, how he taught his disciples in the context of the times. He wouldn't have had a following if he didn't make sense to those who listened. Now there might be people brilliant enough to just jump to the conclusions with no inbetween, but most people need the warm up to say "Yes, that makes sense."
ReplyDeleteDear Marko and Anon I hope you like this:
ReplyDeleteDo you notice, when after His ascension and His glorification they preached or they wrote, how little, how remotely little, they ever said about the three and a half years? - just a fragment here and there. They said very little about His teaching and His miracles and His walk about Palestine. They were all occupied with THIS One Who had been 'crowned with glory and honour' - that was their message. Yes, there was that other One - Jesus of Nazareth, 'Who went about doing good, and healing all who were oppressed with the devil' - a sort of passing reference to that earthly phase, a summary... 'But God raised Him'! God honoured Him, THIS One! It will not get us very far just to be occupied with the incidents of His earthly life, however precious they are. If we are going on and going through, we need an apprehension of that fullness of glory that is His now - the greatness of Christ.
http://www.austin-sparks.net/english/books/001119.html
By the time of the resurrection, the apostles were sold on his message. They didn't need more convincing. Jesus' teachings have stood the test of time. However, human nature doesn't change. Followers of any person who calls himself a leader have to be given reasons to follow that person. They have to make sense in the times context, so that any new followers can believe in their value.
ReplyDeleteNow that's looking at Christianity in the broad category. I'll bluntly say that most Christians are followers not because they have looked carefully at Christianity. They are surrounded by family, friends, neighbors who are Christians and so they fit in. But even in switching from Catholic to Protestant or from one branch of the Protestant community to another they need to believe in practical reasons why one is better than another as far as truth, etc. Saying that they believe in Jesus is not enough to get them to one particular church, pay dues, go to Bible study, allegiance to one church rather than to the other church on the block.
Going back to the main theme, saying to follow Jesus is not very helpful in getting people away from believing that the New Age movement makes sense without telling them why New Age doesn't make sense, particularly in these days when they can follow both at the same time.
Great thoughts. I really like T. Austin-Sparks. I never read any of his works until I ran across them on a blog by Swarna Jha. She would post a lot of those "old timer" preachers. Now I get some of that great teaching through a subscription to Grace Gems. They send a daily devotional using material from the great preachers and teachers of the past. A common characteristic of them all is that they focus on Jesus, and help the reader to do the same.
ReplyDeleteWe all need more of Jesus, and less of us. :^)
"... where they can follow both at the same time."
ReplyDeleteHow true, and how sad. They choose the Jesus they want to see - mostly the one in the Gospels, the one who did nice things for everyone else - and mix that in with whatever else they like to hear. I see so many people who "like" Jesus on Facebook, and other places, yet they are indistinguishable from the rest of the lost world except maybe they are nicer than others.
The stage is really being set for a "revolution of niceness":
"Well, you know, that 'old time religion' just isn't nice, you know, because it hates homosexuals and drunks and other 'sinners'... Why can't all you Christians just be more loving and accepting, like Jesus was???"
I can fully understand how many will be deceived when a "nice" leader comes along, trying to create heaven on earth for everybody.
Yes, and all those opposed to the 'nice' leader will be viewed as the unenlightened, and an enemy!
ReplyDeleteMarko, I came across a link to a book where the first three chapters are on the internet. If you want to get the rest, you have to have a kindle and it costs 99 cents through Amazon. The theme fits in The theme fits in with what you said about the Revolution of Niceness. The topic is Manipulation and the Weapon of Guilt. It talks about that kind of manipulation used by the totalitarian system to force people to accept whatever they are introducing into the system. In other to make nice about what is deplorable.

Marko, I have a friend, Pavel Stroilov, who smuggled many KGB documents out of Russia. These show that the deception you indicate is very real indeed and has been facilitated by Biden (e.g., on visits to the USSR at the end of the '70s & early 80s) and other Communist sympathisers alongside nepharious organisations such as the Trilateral Commission. His latest book, Behind the Desert Storm, documents how the Soviet Empire and not the British Empire that was responsible for creating instability in the Middle East.

Innocent Bystander, you're welcome. It shows what this blog can do when taken seriously and not left to be an ear tickler. Now I'm looking forward to checking out the Behind 9/11 book. You might want to add Disinformation by Lt. Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa and Ronald Rychlak to your check out list. The political end of New Age was the Fabian movement which was checked out in two directions to see which worked best, socialism and communism as you probably know. Others may not know the research that goes on behind the scenes on how to make the changes acceptable to the average person. It's a science and not a by chance or individual will operation.

ReplyDeleteWith the recent North American cold snap, global warming activists are coming out of the woodwork in attempts to explain this phenomenon congruent with the ‘theory’ of global warming:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.cnn.com/2014/01/07/opinion/sobel-winter-cold-global-warming/
However, we should be reminded that Australia has been suffering through a heat wave.
In any case, I’m reminded of a 1979 recording by Robert Fripp (best known as the guitarist/leader of King Crimson), in which he adds snippets of voice recordings of J G Bennett (who was influenced by Gurdjieff and Ouspensky). Among other things, Bennett was a scientist, but he was better known as an author of books on psychology and spirituality. Fripp is obviously inspired by Bennett.
Following is a partial transcription of one of these Bennett vocal recordings, prefacing the track “Here Comes the Flood” (sung here by Peter Gabriel with predominantly piano accompaniment, though a musically fuller version appeared on Gabriel’s first post-Genesis release in ’77 – music industry politics delayed Fripp’s release by a couple years):
“From a scientific point of view it is now very likely that there be again another ice age quite soon in the world, that we shall have the north part of the world all frozen like it used to be, and we’re beginning to have natural disasters. From a scientist’s study…oceans will rise and many cities will be flooded…about 40 years at the most, but maybe even quicker…”
Fripp’s recording does not date the above. Bennett lived 1897 to 1974. Given that this was predictive (“…40 years at the most…”), I’d think this was towards the end of Bennett’s life, and that Fripp himself was expecting (and the scientific community at the time?) an impending ice age.
Interesting....

Dear Constance,
ReplyDeleteIt would be very helpful to know if the absence of posts here by Christine Erikson is due to a ban - and a permanent one - by you. Then many of the former contributors who had given up but probably still check your blog from time to time could resume making contributions to the discussion, so as to restore its former quality. Ms Erikson has posted on one of her own blogs since going silent here so nothing catastrophic has happened to her.
My absence is because of this part of some anonymous person's post:
ReplyDelete"That would hush your critics here and lighten the load on this blog ...
If you cannot do this for the sake of getting the truth out, then you have shown your hand and prove yourself someone who is here to create static and distort the truth. "
Now, I have noticed that the real serious static and distortions come whenever I post. I am the excuse for any blog jammer who pretends to defend the blog.
So I have decided to make either ONE POST A MONTH, or allow ONE DAY IN A MONTH in case the 4200+ character limit is exceeded or something is said that can't be ignored.
This will limit the ability of the hysterical hypocrites, who drove away the other posters they say they miss, you can go through the archives and see the action for yourself, to make a mess here.
I have not distorted the truth. But what I noticed is patterns, and one pattern is, that whenever I give any tools to unhinge New Age arguments by showing that such as has some basis in reality DO NOT IN FACT SUPPORT THE REST of the NAM positions, then suddenly I get under attack.
Now, that plus at least one NAM apologetic sounding post smells to me like someone doesn't really want this blog to accomplish anything.
Another thing that drew fire was focus on Christian doctrine, the complaint was talking about Christianity at all.
So I am not going to let NAM agents here have an excuse to play their game. I notice the blog hogging in early days used to consist of incredible spamming. Some of it in foreign letters that didn't even post correctly.
So, see y'all next month. Thank you for checking to see if I was still alive. ("Ms Erikson has posted on one of her own blogs since going silent here so nothing catastrophic has happened to her.")
As for aliens, if something physical turns up, OR IF A NWO FAKE ALIEN INVASION IS STAGED, either way, you need the tools to deal with their propaganda (which propaganda is already in play) which I provide in that book I wrote.
I suggest you take a look at Derrel Sims work. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=derrel+sims watch those videos and

Christine is not banned. I did request that she encapsulate to one post per day. I also wanted the posts slamming her likewise limited. I don't always agree with Christine. Our writing styles are vastly different. BUT, Christine is sincere and definitely NOT a New Ager.

Innocent Bystander:
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments!
I've heard of Stroilov. He's been mentioned over at the Final Phase forum as being instrumental in exposing the deception played against the West. Not many had access to the Soviet archives. Some of those who did, didn't know what to look for, and some did. I think Stroilov was one that did.
(I'm also going to suppose that some who had access to the Soviet archives were given that access so that they could spread disinformation. Having access would give weight to their falsehoods. "Listen to me; what I say is true. I had access to the archives!") It's a wilderness of mirrors, for sure.
You mentioned Biden participating in the ruse, along with Trilateral Commission. Can you point me to further documentation to verify these claims? I seem to remember something about Biden, but not the TC.

Anon 1:13, just below Innocent Bystander's post:
There is definitely a connection between New Age politics and Socialism or Communism. When I look into their occult roots, there is much in common with the occult part of New Age "religion". It's all kind of intertwined through history, and traces back to the Gnostics. (Thanks to Susanne for helping me learn about that....)
I saw today that Nicholas Cage is an actor in the new "Left Behind" movie.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone else think this is kind of weird? That is, the complete mainstreaming of the 20th century "rapture" ideology of fundamentalist protestants?

ReplyDeleteI see that you've bought into the notion that
the Rapture is a newish idea and that it's strictly
a Protestant belief.
I think you're wrong there.
According to Ken Johnson, ThD, " several ancient
rabbi's and at least four of the ancient church fathers, believed and taught a pre tribulational Rapture of the church."
Elijah was "caught away".
Enoch was translated and seen no more because "God took him".
After his resurrection, Jesus told Mary Magdalene
not to touch him because he "had not yet ascended to the Father". Sometime after that we see Jesus with the disciples actually encouraging Thomas to touch him. Apparently he had by that time ascended to the Father and come back again.
There's precedence and there's scriptural reasons to believe in the Rapture.
Jesus said that "as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the son of man. They were marrying and giving in marriage right up until the time that Noah entered the ark". All of which is a "picture" of the Rapture.

That's exactly what it is.
"According to Ken Johnson, ThD, " several ancient
rabbi's and at least four of the ancient church fathers, believed and taught a pre tribulational Rapture of the church."
If Johnson said that about rabbis he is a DAMN LIAR because NO rabbi has any notion of the Church being a legitimate continuation of Israel, and the Rapture is a nonstarter as is Jesus Second Coming with them.
As for ancient Church Fathers NOT ONE taught such a thing, all this has been investigated and refuted. ONLY one Ephraim I think made a statement that OUT OF CONTEXT sounds like this, but he says it is to escape the tribulation that will come on the earth FOR OUR SINS in other words the wrath of God on the antichrist and co., not persecution of the Church, and elsewhere makes it clear that The Rapture is after the antichrist persecutes the Church.
"Elijah was "caught away".
Enoch was translated and seen no more because "God took him"."
Nothing to do with The Rapture of the Church. Just made up typology to defend the undefendable.
"After his resurrection, Jesus told Mary Magdalene
not to touch him because he "had not yet ascended to the Father". Sometime after that we see Jesus with the disciples actually encouraging Thomas to touch him. Apparently he had by that time ascended to the Father and come back again."
One optional translation is do not CLING to Me, like He's back to stay, but are you now going to say He already did a second coming? A Secret ascension followed by a visit back then a public ascension maybe, but NO RELEVANCE TO END TIMES EVENTS. no one went with Him to Heaven.
"There's precedence and there's scriptural reasons to believe in the Rapture."
yeah, to meet Jesus when He comes back to destroy the antichrist who will have been persecuting the Church meanwhile. Read 2 Thessalonians 2:1-7 note especially vss. 2,3,6 whiche RULE OUT a pre trib rapture.
"Jesus said that "as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the son of man. They were marrying and giving in marriage right up until the time that Noah entered the ark". All of which is a "picture" of the Rapture."
No it isn't. not the way you are saying. the surprise event in Noah's time was unexpected destruction and likewise the evil will not expect it when Jesus comes back to lift us out of the way of the wrath of God, and destroy the antichrist and his followers.
Matt. 24:15-27 describes flight from persecution, pray that your flight not be in winter Jesus says, and warns against talk of a secret Second Coming, that those who say Jesus is hiding somewhere or in the desert are liars "go not forth" to find Jesus it isn't Him.
it is argued we are not appointed unto wrath - yeah, we are not appointed to the wrath of God, but never have we been told we get no
persecution. Quite the contrary.
I largely agree with Christine. The pre-tribulation rapture IS novel (ie not more than about 200 years old) and everybody who believes it is a protestant. but plenty of protestants DON'T believe it. Me, for instance. Best book about and against it is "First the Antichrist" by Dave Gundry.
ReplyDeleteChristine,
ReplyDeleteSo you're concerned about the readers here getting
the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth now ? That is rich.
WOW !....and you, of all people here are worried about misinformation ?
You sure had me fooled.
You are the Princess of misinformation here, and your response to my pointing out a centuries old
doctrine of the faith which is also called "The Blessed Hope", is an example of you misleading people.
What's hard to understand about the Noah picture?
He and his fellow believers in the one true God; in an age when God was all but forgotten, were spared the wrath of God and "rode out the storm" .
Does your version of God forgive sins and then turn around and punish those that he's forgiven ?
We're either forgiven or we aren't.
St. Paul was "caught up" to seventh heaven while deep in prayer.
John the Revelator was deep in prayer and worship when God spoke to him and said; "Come up here"
He obviously had to be changed; ( no mortal flesh and blood will ever enter heaven )
Enoch calls it The Mercy of God, twice, and
Jude echoes Enoch in verse 21 of his epistle.
No Christine, Ken Johnson is not a liar. But he isn't
catering to itching ears like yours. His knowledge of ancient literature is vast, and it's not all jumbled up together with the many many examples of heresy, superstition and just plain bull*** that you've poured out into this blog.
Go back to reading David Icke, Justina, or Christine or whatever your name is.
By the way the flood of Noah's time was anything but a "surprise event".
ReplyDeleteNoah preached and warned the people for 120 years
by God's commandment. They simply refused to listen.
The book of Jasher records how seven hundred thousand men and women surrounded the ark and begged Noah to open it up for them, as the deluge began.
Jasher also notes that God let all the true believers die natural deaths in the years leading up to the flood. He kept the rest alive in order to punish them for their many very grievous sins.
Also,
ReplyDeleteWho said anything about Jesus hiding, or
being in the secret chambers ? Not me.
"He warns against talk of a secret second coming"?
Where ? "Secret second coming" is your term, and hardly describes the Rapture of the saints.
What He warns against is the notion that Jesus is ALREADY BACK and that he is in the secret chambers, etc.
I'm sure you know the difference.
Which begs the question; why would you suggest otherwise ?
When the deluge began, that was Yah's wrath being poured out. The earth was filled with tribulation before the doors were shut. The pre trib rapture nonsense is going to leave the Laodiceans very disappointed indeed!
ReplyDeleteFor a good truthful study of the rapture see: www.tedmontgomery.com

Good post Christine
Christine and Constance vs Paul is what this great source of information has come down to? It's no wonder no one posts here. Constance, your foolish support of Christine puts in a bad light all of your other research. Years of good research thrown down the drain. Your justifications of Christine can be used to give support to every New Age leader. Aw, be nice to them after all they have feelings. You would never say anything to tell them they are manipulative and are wrong, that those against the New Age movement shouldn't face off those who want to destroy them. How in the hell can you remain a lawyer who has to take a side in every case you are paid to handle? Do you approach every case saying "Well I don't agree with everything...blah blah blah" but you, a judge or jury have to take a stand."
ReplyDeleteNow here you have taken on the greatest case that you will ever be given and you pity party your way out of taking a stand. Frankly you may have been paid too much in public support in the case against the New Age movement. Are your feelings hurt? Tough it out. Those destroyed by the New Age movement can have less concern about your feelings about what happened to you as a child when children said mean things.. Those attempting to fight the New Age movement shouldn't need you as a leader any more. Your time has passed.
The early research into the New Age movement was very important at the time, and for that we owe Constance a debt of gratitude.
ReplyDeleteBut it would be great to have a kind of "reset button" pressing, to shift (oops - sorry for slipping a New Age term in there) focus to what the current dangers are. Like all research into current events, one must be open to change in regards to how those events are interpreted, and be willing to discard "pet theories" about how things will unfold as time and events show those theories to be incorrect (or at least less likely).
Of course, many of the dangers of the New Age Movement that Constance and others have documented have never left. Chief among these is the idea that Christians must be wiped off the face of the earth. Any proposed genocide needs to be taken seriously by the targets, as history shows that such proposals often start out with much success.
At the fore in my thoughts lately is the coming delusion and deception. Fighting *that* I think is going to be my primary purpose moving forward. Trying to warn people what to look for, possible ways it will come about, the scriptures that talk about it - these are all part of that effort. Snatching people from the fire, as it says in Jude.
Part of the coming delusion / deception, I believe, involves the increasingly-widespread belief in aliens. People WANT to believe in them, so it will be easy to trick them into thinking that demons-posing-as-aliens are really aliens here to help us. (The whole Stargate TV series has this as its premise.)
This is true no matter what the topic: If someone strongly wants to believe something, it is no hard task to trick them into thinking their belief is true, regardless of the evidence. Evidence FOR the belief is read and gathered and talked about; evidence against it is ignored or incorrect logic is applied to "disprove" it; or an attempt is made to denigrate the provider of that evidence. The capacity for critical thinking has largely disappeared in the modern world. That fact alone is a scary thing.
So the "aliens" will appear, convince the world that all religions contain SOME truth, but the truth of their appearing is the REAL truth, and whatever they say will be seen as the truth for our age. All past truths will have to bend to accommodate this new truth. Those who cling to the old ways will be hated.
Satan's hatred will be felt more strongly than ever by those who are the Bride of Christ. People will be possessed of demons and all manner of evil will flood the earth. The stage is set already. By God's grace the real storm has not yet broken. But take heart: The Gates of Hell shall not prevail!
I've talked about the UFO cult segment of the New Age Movement from the very beginning, 1981. George King and his Aetherius Society were prominently featured in both my books and lectures. Benjamin Creme himself was into a New Age cult which freely mingled with the London Theosophists: "The Space Brothers."
ReplyDeleteLook at this, but pressing the "Reset button" can be very dangerous as those elements are still alive and well!
Constance
NAM do not admit to alien abduction or plans to invade or to do infiltration and covert operations against us.
ReplyDeleteWhen forced to admit anything like this, the line is that there are some bad ones but we have the good guys talking to us.
Refutation of this position, is that the supposed good guy Nordics (more Nazi imagery, and plenty of nazi connections for most of the early "contactees") have been seen by abductees (kidnapped humans used for various experiments and sometimes are sexually abused) working with, sometimes even bossing, the greys and reptoids. They are all in it together.
google "Derrel Sims alien implants" and , "Karla Turner ufo" , "Dr. David Jacobs ufo" , for a good start in studying this, Sims has some videos on youtube
Of course, both the greys and the reptoids are in on it.
ReplyDeleteThank you Christine.
I didn't know that..
Paul, you missed my point. The Nordics who are the supposed good guys (who teach New Age crap also) are in on it with them.
ReplyDeleteWhen you have trace physical evidence on a car or in a house, and peculiar pattern scarring that makes no sense, and in the case of women pregnancies that appear out of the blue and always disappear at three months, no sign of blood or a miscarriage, as if no baby had been there, but an ultrasound shows there was one, combined with ufo sightings and memories of little men coming to get you, what do you make of that?
google alien human hybridization project.
Dr. David Jacobs of Temple University stumbled on this and is reluctant to believe it because it is too horrible. The F3 generation hybrids pass as us, but can influence telepathically through a block or so range.
oh, yeah, and implants that make radio signals and respond to magnets before being dug out, seem to have been working using the bioelectricity of the human body, always positioned near a nerve, some found by MRIs in the brain itself.
usually multi generational.
If Christine was as interested in the truth as much as the weird, absurd, and the unbiblical and conspiratorial, she would have credibility and be an asset here. And she is unrebukable besides, so that proves she is unlearned since she knows it all already. If you don't believe me, just ask her! Her alien "science" is as good as her knowledge of physics.

yeah, the aliens are up to something, we may be in big trouble on a large scale in a few years, and it will include pushing a new age resembling theology, and a public relations move incl. claiming THEY CREATED US.
The contrary claim, that our ancestors engineered their ancestors, us more biblically compatible and undermines their talk.
There is no way that discovery of life elsewhere would challenge biblical faith, but how many people have faith based on The Bible as distinct from generalities partly based on The Bible? How many would go dig through The Bible and refuse to reject faith and figure how to fit aliens into this?
They know the Name of Jesus will break spells and telepathic attacks, and are mostly taking the tack of Balaam - alienate the Israelites from YHWH, rendering them attackable. So Balaam had the Moabites send women to seduce Israelite men to sexual sin and to idolatry. The abductees (once the aliens realized researchers know what they are doing) started getting told all this was for their spiritual advancement. Screen memories installed that seem nicer and less monstrous, but dig behind it and its greys and reptoids and the nordics who pretend to be from the Pleiades and say they are enemies of the mean greys are working with them.
Hybrids - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aB3TJnZgayk quick overview interview starts at 1:04 point.
I'll worry about aliens if they turn up and not before, and I won't look for guidance to any program that opens with an image of that so-called face on Mars. A genuine face on Mars would look like a face at all angles of illumination. And an eroded face on Mars would look like an eroded face at all angles of illumination. This object looks like one at only a single angle of illumination and even then at low magnification only. See
ReplyDeletehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Face_on_Mars_with_Inset.jpg
I've not watched the rest of that one-hour program because if they include that 'face' then I've no confidence in them. My time is precious to me. The only non-human intelligent forms of life that I believe exist are angels, and angels as specified in the Bible not the New Age. See SETI; how come we have never detected alien communications if they are zipping round us all the time?
If you start by supposing that aliens exist then you can have a grand time building castles in the air, and some people enjoy doing that, but it's all built on ungrounded speculation. I prefer to verify the foundations first.
Physicist
Physicist, the original two photos BOTH look like faces at the two different light angles.
ReplyDeleteand Malin & co stated they had run it through a high pass band filter program to eliminate striping. I guess they counted on the public not knowing what that means, but it sounds real good.
The thing is, this is NOT the way you eliminate striping, but it IS the way you eliminate details.
In other words, the third picture you rely on is a FRAUD.
(even so, it still looks facelike, though less, and like there has been some warlike activity affecting it since the days of Viking.)
The people who started studying the face, and who have worked on it since, incl. scientists with degrees as good as yours.
which you would also know, if you bothered to do an hour's worth of research on the subject. (leave out Hoagland he is in a chronic dream state.)
That book addresses those who already accept the face as real, whether it is real or not. And that is a decent percentage of the population.
Now, the synthetic telepathy experiments I linked to were done by reputable scientists at reputable universities. since you don't do research enough before spewing your opinion, to open a link and see before you talk, you made quite a fool of yourself saying the whole post incl. those links were without any scientific merit. Pomposity does not substitute for substance.
you don't know what you are talking about.
face or no face, the rest of the book's arguments can yank the rug out from under a lot of alien PR. And Derrel Sims and David Jacobs don't rely on the face. And their research DOES show the aliens are evil.
Again, contra alien PR.
you rely on The Bible, so do I. And it is not real kind to evolution (though you can fit it into Creation, its called old earth creationism and theistic evolution). That in itself is reason to suspect something is wrong with radiometric dating science. But you can go with evolution (though its pedigree is loaded with occultists) and stay Christian. several scientists with degrees as good as yours have thrown severe questions into radiometric dating, however.
you can fit evolution into The Bible. by the skin of evolution's teeth. you can fit human engineering by recombinant DNA of a worker caste that went rogue and are now "aliens" into The Bible also. Given they are on an attack on The Bible, this is important to do.
SETI - a waste of time and money. some anomalous things HAVE shown up, however, but burst packet transmission would only show as yet another variation of background static. Also they only focus on a small segment of the spectrum.
ReplyDeleteActually Christine a high-pass filter is designed to emphasise rather than suppress details; it is you who have it backwards. Since the authors say they wished to eliminate striping, and since no striping appears on the published pics, it worked. So you are doubly in error in stating that "this is NOT the way you eliminate striping, but it IS the way you eliminate details".
ReplyDeleteIf the high resolution photos had been published first then nobody would ever have thought of any of this face nonsense in relation to that geological feature.
You say that the face remained visible at two differing angles of illumination. HOW differing? Obviously if the difference is small, this is no argument at all.
Of course SETI only searches a certain frequency range of the electromagnetic spectrum. Transmitters of plausible size can transmit only in a certain frequency range.
We have painstakingly learned enough physics over the last 200 years to be extremely confident that telepathy is impossible by natural means. If it happens, it is occult - and therefore untrustworthy (as well as dangerous).
"you don't do research enough before spewing your opinion, to open a link and see before you talk, you made quite a fool of yourself saying the whole post incl. those links were without any scientific merit. Pomposity does not substitute for substance. you don't know what you are talking about."
I believe that people resort to insult when they run out of argument.

I am not resorting to insult, I am factually describing your behavior and my opinion of you gained from experience, and suggesting the readers not take you so seriously, at risk of missing information that could be important.
ReplyDeleteIf you had studied the links you would have criticized them in other terms. THEREFORE YOU PROVED WHAT I DECIDED TO SAY, my statement based on your actions.
Simple fact. your hair is whatever color it is, your eyes are whatever color they are, and you don't look before you talk. Simple facts.
re transmitters of plausible size nonsense you obviously know nothing about radio transmission. i am only a technician level (bottom of the barrel) ham license holder, and I know better than that. SETI chose the bands to focus on based on assumptions that have nothing to do with this anyway. It is a scam to make the public think something is being done. Either that or remarkable silliness. Probably founder was scamming and the rest were silly.
synthetic telepathy by definition is not natural i.e., brain dependent only. it is enhanced. YES it is unreliable occult or not. The ultimate in unsecured communication with slop factors thrown in (especially if an occult element is involved.) on that we are on the same page.
but using the synthetic telepathy technology, once it is developed, means a HIVE MIND can be created. precisely the sort of thing new agers think is cool.
WHAT YOU PEOPLE HAVE TO RECOGNIZE IS THAT THREATS BEYOND THE MERE RFID CHIP ARE ON THE HORIZON. RFID could be used to facilitate the beast control of business, but it is not the mark itself, which is a gang member mark so to speak, not an individual identifier but a membership identifier. you don't need any technology beyond tattoos, brands, and writing on cloth wraps or documents to do this.
THINK: if people are going to burn defeated enemy weapons for seven months as firewood, obviously that will not happen in a modern technology context. modern weapons don't burn well.
If this event is in the future, then civilization collapse will happen first, and the successor civilization will be low tech for the most part.
Which would also make more people deceivable by fraud miracles done by high tech held by a few.
Telepathy technology will never be developed. Technology is the control of nature by man, but it assumes that nature is inanimate and it organises it using man's intelligence to a particular end. If telepathy is occult, as I explained (and you appear to agree) then you are not dealing with inanimate matter that you must organise in an intelligent fashion - you are dealing with a volitional being, ie Satan and/or his minions. It won't work and it is dangerous.

Pathetic, Christine.
ReplyDeleteWeren't you going to pack up your all of your research (you know the merely googled stuff about aliens and junk science)and go over and build up your own blog and come back here when you had something real to report?
Well, you won't pack up and go like someone reasonable, nor do you have anything real (factual-actual) to report.
So you'll just merely google some more and flood this blog with the things that get in the way of the facts. Gee, thanks just what we all need these days. (get a life will ya?)
Okay, nothin' to see here folks.
ReplyDeleteKeep moving.
