Fascinating New Ager vs. New Ager debate occurring - Nuclear vs Anti-Nuclear

UPDATE:  PRAYERS AND SUPPORT NEEDED FOR THE PHILIPPINES!!!!
"EARTHQUAKES IN DIVERS[E] PLACES AND UPON THE SEAS DISTRESS OF NATIONS"

There is a fascinating debate taking place on CNN tonight.  It appears to feature many prominent New Agers debating each other on the Nuclear Power issue.  I tend to agree more with the pro-nuclear than the anti-Nuclear elements.  CNN tonight was playing the Sundance film of Pandora's Promise.

The pro-nuclear people claim it will reverse climate change.  Of course, my readers know I am deeply skeptical about the human-caused climate change claims.  However, it appears that there may be divisions in the New Age world between the "too many people" and "we must supply energy to the world's growing population" elements of the New Age Movement.

Ralph Nader and the Sierra Club are lined upon the side of "alternative energy", i.e. windpower, solar power, etc.  Stewart Brand (Whole Earth Catalog), Newt Gingrich, and others are lined up on the "we need more nuclear power NOW side of the debate.

I must confess I found it refreshing to find New Agers of the obvious Environmental Movement  division such as Amory Lovins, Helen Caldicott, Ralph Nader, the Sierra Club  and others taken to task for propagandizing the world in general and USA in particular against nuclear power use.

My jury is still out on the nuclear safety issue.  I tend to believe it may be necessary to supply necessary electricity and conveniences to struggling people in Third and Fourth World countries.  I don't think "global warming" is a rationale.  But I think those advocating for the need for expansion of nuclear power supplies may be correct.  Even though the bulk of the debaters are New Agers, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

What do you think?

Stay tuned!

Constance, I share your skepticism re manmade global warming. But oil and gas won't last forever, so we need something.

Nuclear power is a way of converting mass, in the nuclei of atoms, into energy, via Einstein’s famous equation E=mc2. Mass turns out to be a highly concentrated form of energy. Technologically speaking, it is difficult to convert mass into energy. There are two ways of doing it: nuclear fission and nuclear fusion. Some atomic nuclei, such as uranium, are not very stable and can split up. That is nuclear fission. Spontaneous splitting is known as radioactivity. It becomes much more probable when a particle called a neutron smashes into the nucleus, and if it then releases two (or more) neutrons you get a chain reaction. Unless some of the neutrons are absorbed by something else, the chain reaction ‘runs away.’ Moreover, once the neutrons have been accounted for, the mass of the parts that remain after a nucleus has split is less than the mass of the original nucleus, and the difference is realised as energy according to E=mc2. A nuclear reactor carefully maintains the chain reaction ‘on the edge’ (‘critical’) by absorbing the right fraction of the neutrons, and collects the energy released. In a nuclear fission bomb – an ‘atom bomb’ – runaway is designed to happen, with release in a fraction of a second of enough energy to destroy a city. If a reactor ‘ran away’ there would not be a nuclear explosion because the material is not confined tightly in a vessel for long enough – just as gunpowder does not explode if not confined – but catastrophic ‘meltdown’ of the radioactive material could occur, as at Chernobyl. (The explosion was due to the water coolant explosively vaporising to steam, not a nuclear explosion, although it scattered radioactive material.) Reactors are designed such that if the monitoring and control system fails, shutdown should occur without further ado, but bad design and human error can lead to meltdown as at Chernobyl. Most of the problems have now been ironed out, and trouble is likely to come only from terrorism or earthquakes (as at Fukushima). We also have only a finite amount of uranium to use as fuel, although different isotopes can be used in some modern designs (which also recycle the spent products and produce less radioactive waste).

It also turns out that if you can arrange two of the smallest, lightest atomic nuclei to join (i.e, fuse) together then the resulting single nucleus weighs less than its constituents; the difference is again released as energy. This is nuclear fusion. As a possible energy source, fusion has fewer noxious by-products than fission. But fusion is harder to do, because the two atomic nuclei that fuse – often types of hydrogen – both carry positive electric charge, and like charges repel. To get the nuclei close enough for them to fuse, they must approach each other very fast – which means the gas of nuclei must be at a very high temperature, as hot as the core of the sun. Research is proceeding at Cadarache in France (a genuinely worldwide collaboration), but we are some decades from having a fusion reactor today.

  3. ahem. earthquakes cannot be controlled. Right there is a good reason to forget nuclear energy.

The use of radioactive materials of non fissionable sort in power packs converting radiation to electricity somehow perhaps along the same lines as a photoelectric cell converts light to electricity would be another matter.

thorium fission is also safer. Nuclear also produces waste that is dangerous for thousands of years and cannot be properly contained forever under conditions that a later civilizations after ours is dead (all die) will find it and be harmed by it.

depleted uranium is not safe but is in heavy use in tanks and ballistics and is causing trouble everywhere it goes. toxic chemically aside from mildly radioactive but enough of both and there is an increase in cancers and miscarriages and deformed babies where it has been in use.

This stuff just isn't worth working with.

"ahem. earthquakes cannot be controlled. Right there is a good reason to forget nuclear energy."

Nobody said that they could. But reactors can be built to withstand the largest conceivable earthquake, or placed in zones of zero seismic activity far from geological faults. Terrorism against nuclear reactors is a far more worrying prospect. But I posted at 5.04am to inform the debate, not to take sides; it is a difficult issue.

Thorium reactors are partly what I had in mind when I wrote "We also have only a finite amount of uranium to use as fuel, although different isotopes can be used in some modern designs (which also recycle the spent products and produce less radioactive waste)."

Does anyone on this site have any in depth knowledge of fracking? It is being protested about in the UK as a polluter of water supplies. Even my favourite conservative news service has come out against it. But I am suspicious of these claims because they fit too neatly into the Elite's desire to deprived the peasants of usable energy.

    Here is one dissenting voice:http://www.sovereignindependentuk.co.uk/2013/07/03/dirty-tricks-of-the-the-fracking-deniers-how-green-zealots-peddle-cynical-propaganda-to-stop-britain-mining-3trillion-of-shale-gas-enough-to-keep-the-lights-on-for-141-years/

I would welcome some expert input!

Interested if anyone has information or knows of connections regarding 7L networking and the generosity generation. The book is written by Michael Maher and they are doing networking. They focus on people's needs and giving. The emphasis the Generosity Generation. I recent have an friend get hooked up with them but trying to find out more. Nothing outright standing out in the information per say. However, the emphasis on generosity and the stepping in and acting in ways the church should some how has some tone of "share international" principles. Would be interested in any research.

    Ruth,

This is Physicist (who's a Brit). The fracking issue divides into two: (1) it provides us with hydrocarbon fuel, and burning this produces carbon dioxide with the possible global warming effects that people like Al Gore have warned of; is this a serious problem? (2) is the setting up of fracking plants highly polluting of the terrestrial environment?

My tentative conclusions are No and No and that fracking is a good thing. Re global warming, the issue is not whether CO2 is a greenhouse gas; it is how much warming we are likely to cause and whether that will have catastrophic effects. My summary of this is in a post of 3:06 AM beneath Constance's blog entry of April 3rd 2013. As for whether fracking makes a mess, a lot less than wind turbines for a start. Don Quixote was right!

  15. Physicist, you need to do more research on fracking problems. I have seen videos of people setting the water coming out of their taps on fire. In many places near such operations, they have to drink bottled water. There is some evidence it can destabilize nearby faults and cause earthquakes (not major so far, but this isn't good).

The fracking components ENTER THE GROUND WATER.

It would be better to try to mine the methane clathrates on the bottom of the sea. Or strike a deal with Russia to capture the methane escaping from melting permafrost in some places.

Christine, it is you who needs to do your research properly. The flammable water claim in relation to fracking originates from a scene in the 2010 anti-fracking film Gasland. But tap water could be lit into flame before fracking, because of naturally occurring methane pockets in the ground. If your water comes from a well and the drilling was done poorly, you might in some places end up with flammable water. Investigators later checked the house of the man in the film and found the methane in his water was due to the way his well had been drilled. Fracking played no role. When the filmmaker was confronted by the director of the pro-fracking film FrackNation, he claimed that this fact “wasn’t relevant.”

Fracking is novel for two reasons: the chemical soup and the pressure used to extract the gas is different from before, and the drill can go round corners. All this is far below the extractable water-bearing rock.

To my knowledge all claims that the chemicals used in fracking have polluted groundwater come from where those chemicals have been badly stored in open pools, not from fracking itself. That storage problem can be overcome. If you believe that groundwater has been contaminated by fracking itself, please provide evidence - by which I mean a specific time and place with details, and which definitely does not refer to the storage issue.

Spurred by green scare stories, humanity has already turned over so much land to crops for biomass that food prices are rocketing in the 3rd World. And you want us to do more? (Sewage and landfill are not going to make remotely enough methane by themselves.)

Thank you for that reference Christine. It is not about chemicals from fracking polluting groundwater, which is what we were discussing and about which I requested a reference. It is about gas in the water supply - the previous issue. (Much less gas than could ever catch fire, incidentally.) Even the EPA, Obama's anti-energy attack dog, has cleared this. Do read the debate in the thread beneath that article.

  25. as usual you treat things so superficially. didn't even bother to read the article closely. There is MORE methane in the ground water NEARER the fracking site than farther from it,

    AND

there is also ETHANE in the mix, which is totally to blame on the fracking. Like a signature chemical. It won't be present in natural sourced methane contamination of water.

The increased methane levels closer to the fracking sites than farther from them also proves a connection.

Whether it is enough contamination to set water on fire or not doesn't matter, it is still unhealthy. The average person can't afford a water purifier. what do you think this will do to crops and animals eventually?

like I said, for starters. Why don't you do some research online and see what other information is out there?

  33. Physicist, you lie. That ENTIRE article is there for the reading, the information I cite from it I read WITHOUT ANY SUBSCRIPTION.

As for peer review you got any idea how much money and career and respectability and being accepted type issues drive all that?

The lunatic fringe is exactly where everything you take for granted as correct once was.

Islamic plot - yes face it, Constance, the Muslims are not our friends, and while SOME may be useable in the fight against New Age the whole cult was originated by false revelations from a demon and even Mohammed himself was afraid for a while that he was possessed or something. Did any real prophet of God have such fear?

The whole muslim cult was designed from the get go to shut down Christianity and Judaism, allow us to die out if not reproducing enough and NO proselytising allowed.

Whatever morals and decency can be found in the koran is countermanded by two forces. Shariah which is entrenched in Islam like RC church councils and decrees is in RC, and which often goes against the koran on some points,

and the fact that NO study is required to become moslem, merely announce that allah is god and mohammed is his prophet and that's it. If you got a major promiscuity of women or idolatry thing going on that has to stop, everything else is ignored in practice. The slow entrenchment of mullahs and shariah alters things after a while, but the keeping of social tradition and long standing failures to correct over the centuries compromises even this.

Legal proceedings = four eyewtinesses to get a conviction and a woman's word is half the value of a man's and no one thinks anything of lying under oath to give a false alibi for blood relatives, so shariah = lawless shithole dump.

If you get raped, your complaint adds up to admission you had zina, fornication or worse yet adultery, with this man. your complaint is he forced this on you.

But wait. forensics not allowed. only eye witnesses. Maybe you count as one or half of one.

But you have confessed to zina.

Now, you got no witnesses, and if the police can't hound a confession out of him, YOU END UP AS THE CONFESSED CRIMINAL GUILTY OF FORNICATION OR ADULTERY.

At this point you get flogged for fornication or killed for adultery. If you don't, your own family will kill you if they are following traditional family values, even if they believe you were raped, because you an extension of the larger self the family being violated are a violation point so have to be killed to cleanse the group.

Let's say you got four or five witnesses, but they are most of them blood relatives of the guy. So they all lie and you got one witness to back you up and that's not enough.

Maybe you AND the witness (for allegedly bearing false witness because the lying supporters of the rapist outnumber the witness against him) are punished for zina and false swearing.

    get it?

"In Pennsylvania, the closer you live to a well used to hydraulically fracture underground shale for natural gas, the more likely it is that your drinking water is contaminated with methane. This conclusion, in a study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA in July, is a first step in determining whether fracking in the Marcellus Shale underlying much of Pennsylvania is responsible for tainted drinking water in that region.

Robert Jackson, a chemical engineer at Duke University, found methane in 115 of 141 shallow, residential drinking-water wells. The methane concentration in homes less than one mile from a fracking well was six times higher than the concentration in homes farther away. Isotopes and traces of ethane in the methane indicated that the gas was not created by microorganisms living in groundwater but by heat and pressure thousands of feet down in the Marcellus Shale, which is where companies fracture rock to release gas that rises up a well shaft.

Most groundwater supplies are only a few hundred feet deep, but if the protective metal casing and concrete around a fracking well are leaky, methane can escape into them. The study does not prove that fracking has contaminated specific drinking-water wells, however. “I have no agenda to stop fracking,” Jackson says. He notes that drilling companies often construct wells properly. But by denying even the possibility that some wells may leak, the drilling companies have undermined their own credibility.

The next step in proving whether or not fracking has contaminated specific drinking-water wells would be to figure out whether methane in those wells came from the Marcellus Shale or other deposits. Energy companies claim that the gas can rise naturally from deep formations through rock fissures and that determining a source is therefore problematic. Yet some scientists maintain that chemical analysis of the gas can reveal whether it slowly bubbled up through thousands of feet of rock or zipped up a leaky well. Jackson is now analyzing methane samples in that way.

Another way to link a leaky fracking well to a tainted water well is to show that the earth between them provides pathways for the gas to flow. Leaky wells have to be identified first, however. Anthony Ingraffea, a fracking expert at Cornell University, is combing through the inspection reports for most of the 41,311 gas wells drilled in Pennsylvania since January 2000. Thus far, he says, it appears that “a higher percentage” of Marcellus Shale fracking wells are leaking than conventional oil and gas wells drilled into other formations. Stay tuned."

You haven't cited a peer reviewed study. You have cited (and quoted in full) Scientific American summarising a study in a journal that usually uses per review (but sometimes solicits invited articles). Trained scientists (and historians) know that you must cite the original. Here is why in the present case. SciAm does not state the absolute figures for contamination, only the relative figures. You can have six times the amount of methane in the water in one place than in another and still be well under the health risk limit. If you want to convince people, find those numbers, see if they exceed the health risk threshold, and if so then quote them and give your source accurately. Check also whether any problem is due to leakage from fracking depth or from the shallower parts of the well shaft, as the latter problem is relatively easily fixed. If there is indeed a problem, check whether geological strata make this study the exception rather than the rule. Scientists, including myself, are open to persuasion, but the arguments have to be rigorous not sloppy.

Constance started the whole subject of energy issues and fracking got into it because of Ruth of Exeter's question which Physicist answered.

however, you imply that a subscription is needed for anything but a smidgen. It isn't.

If you see a pattern, never mind peer reviewed and statistics and so forth, you see the pattern, are you going to ignore it if it has possible immediate relevance to your physical wellbeing?

"Halliburton goes after fracking critics; hires tobacco-linked PR firm
    24 Feb., 2011
WASHINGTON, Feb. 24 (HalliburtonWatch.org) -- Last week, Desmogblog outed Halliburton and other oil/gas companies, who together set up "Energy in Depth", an industry front group that claims to represent "small and independent" operators.

EID's web site was registered by a PR firm experienced in working for companies engaged in scientific deception (e.g. Big Tobacco). EID was set up to fight back after investigative journalists began to expose problems with hydraulic fracturing ("fracking") -- notably ProPublica, as well as the producers of the Oscar-nominated documentary, "Gasland," Also: read how the industry has blocked federal regulations.

Hallliburton and Carlyle Group are also major players in the New World Order which as we all know is the political end of the New Age Movement.

  45. Yes Ruth brought it up and Physicist answered her geographically specific question. You in turn used the opportunity to "teach" Physicist about fracking and have made the rest of the thread about proving your "superior knowledge" on the subject. Thus diverting from Constance's question about specific groups involved in specific matters. You're so wrapped up in it all you cannot even address your responses properly.

You so brilliantly caught their stupid error. You knew it wasn't the same article even though they said it was. Right on Christine!! You know we depend on you to catch all of the stupid errors everyone makes on this blog.

What else could they have meant when it was written this article was published with the title.....

I don't know how they could have made that error that you with your brilliance caught. It must never have been published with that title. Scientific American must be such liars. Why you believed what you read from them must be questioned when they are such liars. After all, you can't be wrong, ever.

You state "Hallliburton and Carlyle Group are also major players in the New World Order which as we all know is the political end of the New Age Movement."

We all know that? Those two are the political end of the New Age movement, nothing else is? Where did you learn that fascinating fact? Did it come to you as a brilliant insight, gathered from the sum total of all that you know that we don't know? It must have.

We all know that you never make an error, correcting all that our poor foolish minds believe when you haven't spoken on all of the topics that we so patiently await your insights on.

But, dear sweet soul, you haven't answered all of my questions yet, though the day is young. I will patient await your wonderful insights on such difficult questions. If not I will ask them again, knowing that your mind is so filled with other important thought such as the sum total of what the political end of the New Age is.

Why I do believe you have outthought even Constance. I don't believe she has even stated so clearly that the political end of the New Age movement is composed of Haliburton and Carlyle.

How she could have saved us years of study of what the political end of the New Age movement is with that simple statement. Yet, the thought never came to her as clearly as it came to your wonderful, truly encompassing all knowledge mind.

I await the answers to my questions asked many hours ago. Perhaps someone else will be able to answer those deep questions even though they seem so simple to minds such as my own. There must be complex answers that have never been able to enter my mind, hard as I try to answer them.

Dear Christine, be patient with my long windedness which may just seem as a bubble on this blog when compa;ed to your long deep answers on so many topics.

I will try to keep my simple posts to fewer than yours as this day progresses. I do not wish to take away the time of others from your brilliant insights my dear sweet friend.

I am sure you are a friend to all of us, otherwise you would not take so much of your valuable time posting as you do on so many different topics.

I'd prefer not to have a fracking plant in the lot adjoining my property, obviously, but if you ask me whether I am worried about groundwater contamination due to fracking, this would be a very weak factor in my decision of where to live.

The power industry is big business and there are no angels there, so why single out Halliburton? Do you remember Enron? Today energy and related companies are jockeying for the green subsidies that Obama is handing out courtesy of taxpayers, but even that didn't save Solyndra.

Many New Age sites are anti-New World Order, and hate companies and organizations like Halliburton.

While the New Agers *do* have plans for a unified earth (which paradoxically involve a very disunified earth until those opposed to unification are removed one way or another), I don't think those plans can be equated with what is popularly known as the "New World Order".

  56. The Genesis dominon mandate for humans over nature has been blamed by New Agers for damage of all kinds, and misapplied to validate that by some Christians. Don't pretend to be this ignorant, it is all over the Internet and lots of books and articles. If you know anything about the New Age you would know that.

Sure they are antisemitic and guess why? They are antiChristian because the demons that motivate them, whether they realize it or not, are afraid of the power of The Name of Jesus Christ against demons. While the antisemitic crew are often Christian, they are deceived by demons. And the anti Christian New Agers know who to blame Jesus for - they can blame the Jews for Him because He came through them. Even the Christian antisemites probably have a subconscious bias like this, unhappy that their heathen desires are prohibited subconsciously they would like to lash out but suppress this, and redirect the hatred to His relatives on His mother's side.

This last analysis by the way was first voiced by a Jew.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Anonymous1:44 PM

No more Christine. Please finish what you've started before moving on. Now you've moved on to anti-semites, demons, AntiChristians and the demons that motivate them, antisemites who are Christians and motivated by demons, antiChristian New Agers, Christian antisemites who have heathen desires, and attacks on His Mother said by some nameless Jew.

Are the heathens those run by demons? Do these demons have names? Where do they come from and where do they go? They sure do seem to be causing a lot of trouble.

Are there Christians who are anti-Christian because they are led by demons? Are there antisemites who are Jew haters because they are led by demons?

Your wonderful mind does move around remarkably fast.

Does this have anything to do with Haliburton and Carlyle and fracking and Congress and people who have fire coming out of their faucets? Maybe demons are causing the fire to come out of faucets? Have you ever thought of that? I did. It sounds like something they would do because they are mean. Wow I would be afraid of washing my face in the morning only to have a demon causing fire in my plumbing.

All these new thoughts and somehow they have something to do with the New World Order and New Age.

How do you keep all those complicated thoughts in your mind at one time?

Maybe if you could figure that out it would help all of us understand the New Age movement. How about that!

How was Hitler able to mass hypnotize all those people into such an incredible, crazy, illiterate "religion", and how did this New Age junk become so popular ?
I think it starts with bad religion; paganism,
which is what this NewAge is. People stopped reading the Bible a long time ago now. People stopped reading the Bible everywhere in this country ( the U.S. ), in the sixties. It became
    Codex non grata everywhere. Universities
    outlawed it. Schools outlawed it.
That plus the sinful willful rebellious-against
-God nature of mankind, equals the hell fire

So it seems reasonable that there is this forum

  68. Here is the outline for Basel 3. To dumb this down as much as possible I will speak in generalities. The main function of this agreement is supposed to be framework for international banking regulations. In execution we see this will actually slow credit by changing leverage requirements. It also however also calls for the leveling of interest rates among central banks. This means here in the USA we will see the Fed pushing our interest rate on our $17 trillion in debt. The money from services on the debt will the be pushed back to the Bank of International Settlements, through the IMF, and to whatever third world hole they can find to bury it in. If anyone has seen the numbers broken down on just .25% of that 17 trillion, they would recognize how fast the nation's wealth could be spread across the globe.

It is part of the slow kill form of depopulation. The IMF is not about charity.

And if some south american leader pays it off and/or goes on non debt bearing money, suddenly there is a move to remove or assassinate him or her. Lincoln got assassinated by some romantic idolator of the South, but only after he did the greenbacks thing which was debt free money.

JFK pissed off a lot of people, but the last straw was probably his starting to issue the same sort of money briefly. Naturally that plan didn't survive him.

See, I know you are concerned about others when you call what I have written blog hogging.

You are such a modest individual that you don't wish to call attention to your wise use of information. You wish others to see you as the humble individual you see yourself.

I WILL NOT LET THAT HAPPEN!! I want others to know that you are someone others can turn to for ACCURATE information about any topic. I admire you so very much.

How foolish others can doubt what you have to offer I don't understand.

You refused to answer my questions because some should understand that your complex answers only show the complexity of your thoughts. I know you can give wiser answers than other foolish individuals might attempt to do.

That's why I turned to you. You understand what is behind the obvious.

As I said, I now ask you these questions again, trusting that your answers will provide knowledge beyond knowledge, knowledge beyond any have to offer as to the WHY and HOW of these things. Oh those of us who admire you are not rambling on. We truly believe in your greatness as you have often told us, humbly on your part of course, how your thought are superior to all others.

To some answers to my questions may seem simple to answer, but I know you know the history and the study that has gone on to answer what may seem foolish questions to some. Your depth of information reaches beyond these mere mortals as you have pointed out time and time again although they have not understood you. Pity them.

Some foolish minds may say that you are attempting to distract and dishearten them. I KNOW BETTER. I have linked with your heart and know what a great person you are. Stay humble and don't tell us that you are humble. Great minds will know how humble you really are.

You state knowledgeably that JFK (who is that) pissed off a lot of people. I know you are now attempting to use the language of ordinary people to make yourself seem one of them. It will never happen. You are not one of the ordinary people. You never will be no matter how you strain to appear that way.

Again, these are the questions I would ask you to ponder as ponder you must everything that is on the earth's surface.

Maybe you can tell me how much is 2 and 2. What are the letters in the alphabet? How do you spell the woman's name whose blog it is? What season of the year is it in the US? What month are we in?

What does this symbol mean - ?

What country has some sort of Declaration and was it really founded the year you were born?

Oh dear Infowolf1, we need your information so desperately.

Your 10:05 comment is patently incorrect. The IMF never demands austerity, austeriy is oft necessary function where the IMF has already ransacked a economy, but it is NEVER their stated mission as in itself accomplishes nothing for them. You do realize austerity actually under cuts the IMF right? Please do comment on wealth confiscation though, as it is the actual topic here and the only one you didn't add your input on

"A while back somewhere, someone traced the organizational pedigree of the Human Genome Project back to Nazi and other eugenics societies."

The genetic basis of life, ie the molecular structure of DNA, was discovered a decade after the Nazis had been smashed. Granted, von Braun's people came over to the USA, but rocketry already existed in 1945 unlike molecular genetics. The most you can reliably say is that some people wish to exploit molecular biology to eugenic ends and share the Nazi mentality in that respect. But knowledge of DNA can be used for good as well as evil.

With your sole concern being selfish issues of wealth confiscation, naturally you don't dig closer like better researchers who I have been reading. Wealth confiscation is hardly the active topic, since the confiscation is NOT headed towards the poor but to the super rich, mostly gentiles by the way. Always has been. It is also about keeping third world countries from developing much, to keep them down with debt slavery not to lift them up.

8:49, you are looking only at the specific immediate advances thanks to finding out about DNA, but that is not the issue of what all is behind this.

" Mengele's boss Verschuer escaped prosecution. Verschuer re- established his connections with California eugenicists who had gone underground and renamed their crusade "human genetics." ...

Soon, Verschuer again became a respected scientist in Germany and around the world. In 1949, he became a corresponding member of the newly formed American Society of Human Genetics, organized by American eugenicists and geneticists.

In the fall of 1950, the University of Münster offered Verschuer a position at its new Institute of Human Genetics, where he later became a dean. In the early and mid-1950s, Verschuer became an honorary member of numerous prestigious societies, including the Italian Society of Genetics, the Anthropological Society of Vienna, and the Japanese Society for Human Genetics."

U.S. National Human Genome Research Institute is parent to HGP a renamed div. of NIH.

"The Human Genome Project is headquartered at the Cold Springs Harbor laboratory on Long Island, NY—the exact site of the notorious Eugenics Research Office started in 1910 by the Harriman family. The Human Genome Project is thus a direct continuation of the Eugenics movement begun in the early part of the 20th century....Prominent advocates of Eugenics in the US, including the Rockefellers, Henry Ford and Margaret Sanger, wanted the government to decide who could reproduce and how many offspring they could have; which ethnic groups should be excluded from immigrating to the U.S. based on their alleged inferiority; and which medical and psychological conditions should qualify one for sterilization or euthanasia....
"Among hundreds of Rockefeller funded institutes and projects in the U.S., England and Germany that have been involved in promoting Eugenics, was the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Anthropology, Eugenics and Human Heredity in Berlin. The head of that institute, Dr. Otmar Verschuer, was Josef Mengele’s patron, teacher and co—researcher. Another Rockefeller sponsored doctor and researcher, Dr. Franz Kallmann, helped save Verschuer after WWII by testifying favorably about his value to science during the U.S. government denazification hearings. Dr. Kallmann later created the American Society of Human Genetics, which organized the Human Genome Project.

Christine, you say that the Human Genome project HQ was sited where a eugenics lab had been, and that some Nazi eugenicists became respected geneticists after the War. Are you trying to make a point by association? If so, what? Those eugenicists had the knowhow and managed to cover up their past; either that, or the people who hired them weren't too interested in inquiring closely about their background because these men were highly competent scientists. That is amorality, not conspiracy. And by the 1960s they were a very small minority in the molecular genetics community worldwide, which took off like a rocket after the DNA double helix was discovered (by a Brit and an American, neither of them Nazi; the latter went on to head the human genome project).

Knowledge of the human genome is morally neutral. It can be used for good or evil.

  81. Christine,

Your comment here smacks of willful ignorance. First and foremost I outlined exactly how the wealth confiscation will land in the hands of the poor. However you do make a point in showing it being funneled through the elite. How do you think redistribution works? It is ALWAYS first funneled through the hands of a oligarchy, only then can it be converted to subsistence for the impoverished. How is this any different aside from scale to previous socialist enterprises?

    ReplyDelete
  82. well, if you read the whole book the excerpt is from you might get a better idea. Of course the knowledge is morally neutral. But it is part of a long stream of the idea of perfecting/improving/superceding the human race. Sure the double helix discovery made a big thing, but as for Brit and American though these individuals were not necessarily racist or anything, I can't say I haven't looked into it enough, EUGENICS IS A BRITISH AND AMERICAN CREATION, Nazi Germany just took the ball and ran with it.

The term was dropped for "genetics" once it got a bad name, but the underlying dream is the same. Sure its not all bad. But this isn't really good either, and there is research now into ethnic specific bioweapons, engineered to latch onto those with certain genetic markers.

    ReplyDelete
  83. 10:03 you are the one willfully ignorant. The IMF money doesn't really help the poor. If it did it wouldn't matter or shouldn't to any decent Christian. But it doesn't, it comes with all kinds of strings and high interest. And to pay that back, after an initial improvement of things, they now have to yank the rug out from under people (who by now are dependent on it), in order to make the interest payments.

It is DEBT SLAVERY, and the money could indeed bypass oligarchs and suchlike scum of whom Jesus Christ warned, that it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into heaven.

Aid, building infrastructure and paying the workers, flat out welfare, subsidized medicine etc. etc. (and if the greedy doctors kept the hippocratic oath they wouldn't charge ANYTHING only take such gifts as the patient could afford), free or discount seed to farmers,

but no, we get privatization of water, not just payment for piping it in but companies owning the point of origin and all that.

Food is a weapon as Kissinger said, and this is part of it, to keep the third world from improving.

By the way, you are probably one of those who thinks that the only time the Constitution mentions the general welfare is in the preamble.

But in the section saying for what the govt. can distribute money, after military and suchlike it adds "and for the general welfare" which covers any contingency not listed already.

What we need is to get rid of the Federal Reserve and go on debt free money. If we tax wall street major transactions like Tarpley suggests, we would have enough to pay off the debt, close the Fed, and have Congress mint the money like we the Constitution says to do.

And restore the parts of Glass-Stegall that would make the derivatives market and some other games illegal again.

    ReplyDelete
  84. 8:42,

You are close but missing a minor detail, this isn't about our money. 17 trillion in debt says we have no actual money. It is about wealth via assets, or what remains I should say. The actual money we had produced has been eaten through already, we have been into leveraging assets for decades. Some of the bad assets were already monetized via TARP and stimulus, more are currently being consolidated in the markets now(the growth bubble is the markets feeding on themselves), next is further liquidation.

You will only be able to see it day to day by a constant stream of inflation and credit retraction. Meanwhile those on the inside will be the only ones with enough capital to buy up assets that will flood the market. They will do so for pennies on the dollar, showing massive equitable gains for their companies, falsely boosting GDP, allowing interest rates to be further elevated. Thus effectively liquidating assets and tranferring any gains out of the country. This is end game of wealth confiscation, not the beginning.

    JD,

A rise in interest rates would trigger a crash (as people and institutions defaulted on their debts being unable to pay the interest) and deflation, not inflation. The inflation would come later. QE might send us straight to inflation, or the bond markets - in which interest rates are set and before which even the Fed is helpless - might get jumpy enough to trigger a crash. Nobody knows, not even THEM. But THEY are better placed to emerge well out of whatever scenario emerges.

No, but you surely understand what I am getting at. Genetics is just the latest in a series of scientific and technological innovations which are based on know-how, and know-how can be used for good and evil. If you don't want genetic medicine then why do you want electricity and all the other boons of technology that have made life so much easier since we came out of caves? Consistency please!

  92. subsistence living is impoverishment. socialism is a catchall phrase meaning effectively nothing. Many features called "socialist" by the generation not used to something are taken for granted by the generation that grew up with it and save the term for some newer irritant.

minimum wage, prohibition on child labor, safety codes, anti trust anti cartel legislation, unions being protected by law instead of subject to attack by police and/or military, all these things were called socialist or whatever by the robber barons.

The IMF isn't doing wealth confiscation by the means you are thinking of. We borrow money from the Fed, which is part of the IMF. We owe and pay interest.

That is monetized debt. And not what the Constitution said to do.

So "our money" that the IMF is confiscating is THEIR money loaned to us at interest, and owed back to them with interest.

A legitimate deal by any capitalist standards.

    ReplyDelete
  93. 10:50,

Wrong, a rise in interest rates would cause some defaults, but not enough to offset the way these losses get shuffled around. What it would allow is the consumption of assets by larger entities, those in the loop. Those losses will then be pushed to product cost, thus creating inflation. In order for actual deflation to occur the rate of inflation has to first decrease to zero. By raising the interest in the .5-1% range they make sure this doesn't happen. In fact the inflated pile of money continues to grow because you are paying the services from the same pile. Deflation would require us to pay down debt at a faster rate than it could accumulate interest, paying toward the principle. However, those responsible for the majority of GDP require credit to do so. Credit that relies on the same fractional reserve banking, just on a smaller scale. The same GDP that is now but a fraction of the debt. Can you see how far we are from getting the inflation rate to zero? Without offsetting the increased service fees on the debt, which is now unrealistic, you can never achieve a deflationary period. The only other options involve spreading the increased interest across lower lines of credit, which as I outlined isn't going to happen. Taxes take from GDP, which again leads us to not servicing interest. We're now back to asset liquidation...

    ReplyDelete
  94. Anonymous11:54 AM

    JD,

You say "By raising the interest in the .5-1% range they make sure this doesn't happen" but interest rates are not under the control of the government and/or the Fed. They are set in the bond markets, which not even the Fed controls. QE *influences* the markets but not decisively. I agree with the rest of what you say in principle but it is predicated on the above scenario which I question.

    ReplyDelete
  95. 11:54,

Technically correct, and maybe I should have clarified my point. The bond market is NEVER going to jump us to 5%, the Fed however can control the the amount the interest rate is multiplied by. The new banking regulations also make certain that the line of credit that feeds capital growth is suppressed. Who does that leave playing in bonds? Do you see what I mean about consolidation? Deflation requires free capital to pay down debt, it requires actual growth not market cannibalism. That's not at all what is happening. What is happening is larger entities are consuming smaller ones and leveraging those assets as debt while cutting every expenditure possible and slowly raising prices. Is this not a method of consolidating and liquidating wealth? Part of the issue here maybe that some still see these large multi nationals as oppositionary, or outsiders to this system. Start looking at the NGOs, the meetings in Davos, etc, these companies are in the fold and often willing participants to our fleecing. Let's not try to turn this into me being anti big business, I am not. I am anti economic hitman, which sadly makes up a large cross section of our GDP.

Great to see you back here.... been wondering where you've been. Thought maybe you got buried under a pile of tin foil trying to keep the satellites from spying on you.... ;^)

I have many thoughts on the whole wikileaks thing, coming at it from different angles. From the "Let's see what 'they' are up to..." angle, it is a good thing. (Provided, of course, that the info being leaked isn't disinformation, which is a second angle to look at this from).

The other angle, which I am more steeped in currently, is to see it as a traitorous act, because of the national security damage that had been done, to the benefit of enemies like the KGB/FSB, and other external, anti-American/anti-Western nations that would love to see us become a third world country.

Re that last point, there are many entities working toward that end, I believe, and not always do they work in concordance with each other. There is no "small elite group at the top" that runs the whole affair, in my world view. I guess that's what sets me apart from many here.

    Anyway....glad to see you back!

    ReplyDelete
  99. Marko,

I would loosely agree depending upon your definition of small. It could easily be argued that the crux of major decisions roughly falls on a few thousand people. Of those people you have folks with actual influence. You would have to agree that if thousands of business and political leaders got together to try to hash things out, general ideas would be shaped before any meetings take place. Have you ever looked at World Economic Forum meetings? The plenary sessions tell you the groups topic of interest. I do think there is a rough idea in place that is responsible for the change, but otherwise the idea has become a self sustainable network of networks. It's why this system even with one cog removed would roll over and keep progressing. This is the same method the Fabians have used since their inception. It's always moving toward synthesis of ideals until the state is the only constant.

Another difference I believe we may have here is how we prioritize threats. Russia, North Korea, Iran, etc represent the escalation of immediate violence. The equivalent of someone pulling a gun on you. Though it hasn't happened yet there are some sketchy guys hanging around and you justifiably don't like the looks of things. I see those guys too.

What I am talking about is more akin to starvation or a slow poisoning. No less deadly, but not as violent. So while I see the guys you are worried about, I recognize the guy actively trying to kill me slowly.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Marko7:59 PM

Yes, it really does come down to threat analysis. And the amount of networking in today's world is a factor in that; I'm just not sure what weight I give it in the very near future. Obviously, any kind of system that requires everyone in the world to be a part of it to be able to buy or sell is a very tightly-integrated power structure, and will be in place at some point in the future.

From a mile-high perspective, I know we'd both agree that the main ones pulling the strings are God, and his long-time enemy, Satan. We, being agents of free will, are in the middle, choosing to follow one or the other. Unknowingly, by default, we follow Satan, and only by being shown the Gospel do we then knowingly begin to follow God.

I think most (but not all) of what we see happening can be explained with simple (read: non-conspiratorial) reasoning based on historically-apparent impulses that are the result of us just being flawed humans. The biggest of those impulses that has caused the most damage throughout history is probably the Utopian impulse - the one that attempts to remake a flawed, earthly existence into a perfect, "heaven-on-earth" one. It is what the Fabians, Marxists, Communists, and New Agers (to use recent examples) all have in common. Without exception, to make their perfect omelet, a few eggs must be broken. (More than a few, if you take the book of Revelation literally....)

Historically, the ones with the "guns and butter" are the most dangerous and kill the most people. It really doesn't matter what a bunch of visionaries dream up at this or that forum if someone drops a bomb on their meeting place. Years of planning, gone in a flash.

I really don't want to minimize the seriousness of those meetings and plans - at some point, I believe, there will be a deadly (to those who oppose it and even to those who embrace it) attempt to implement those plans. It's closer than most think. You've done great research into the various aspects of that agenda. The networking among the bad guys is amazing and truly frightening, especially when you get a glimpse of what is planned (which is what this blog is all about). I just think that there are still some "old world" hostilities that need to be acted out - a period of bloodletting - before any of the New Age agenda really gets the legs it needs to become a worldwide movement. The four horsemen of the apocalypse and all that.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Marko7:59 PM

    <...cont>

Those old world hostilities, and those who hold them, are not connected in a logistical, planning kind way at all with those whom we would call New Agers (though philosophically they are from the same root, as the chart Constance posted a few blog posts back shows). There's no "man behind the curtain" pulling the strings of the Russian, Chinese, Iranian, N. Korean thugs who hate us while at the same time pulling the strings of world bankers, presidents, chairmen of the boards and other Western men of power and capital that are the targets of that hatred. The first group exists with one thought in mind - to destroy the other and set up their own system of power and empire.

How far their plans go and to what extent they succeed in them, only God knows. My own thoughts are that they will enjoy success for a time, as God uses them to chastise this nation for her sins, much as he let Israel be taken captive for turning their backs on God.

From that dark period, I think will arise an attempt to rid the world for good of those who would make war, not peace. And I have long felt that there will be a new dynamic in play that in the past has been relatively minimal in the affairs of men - open and apparent demonic influence. The battles of history will take on a more spiritual dimension than the ones in the past have. What that dynamic will look like, we can only guess. It is imperative that we develop spiritual sight now by walking as close to the Lord as we can, so we can be led by Him through those spiritually dark (but "enlightened", by the reckoning of the New Agers) times.

The New Age "phoenix" will rise from the ashes of the final-gasp-of-the-old-world clash of civilizations, to form their Alliance of Civilizations, possibly led by "helpers" from outer space (our space brothers dontcha know!), or whatever demonic deception they plan to use. And that's a whole 'nother topic (AoC) that I've been reading lots about lately....

"The representative-agent models used by central banks and the IMF came out of a movement among economists in the 1970s and ’80s who assumed that people were rational and planned for the future. For example, Olivier Blanchard, now chief economist of the IMF, wrote in 1990 that when a government tightens its belt to reduce deficits, households might start spending, relieved that the problem is being handled and there won’t be an even bigger readjustment in the future.

If models could assume that everyone was the same rational person, there was no need for data on how people act. And conveniently, relying on a single person made the math behind the modeling easier."

HAH! this insanity sounds like part of what is wrong with our legal system, the reliance upon the concept of "the reasonable person" who is ill defined at best. And what is reasonable to one person, based on reality of experience theirs and others, is totally irrational to more sheltered others. Then there are people driven by irrational and evil inclinations like pride, vainglory and wrath as a habit, which translates into shooting your for "dissing" (disrespecting) them, usually an extremely mild sort of "disrespect" that might not mean the same thing ten miles away.

Don't leave us hanging. You have information to offer that we haven't been able to grasp on our own (excepting Christine who grasps everything in her own way I would guess). Don't leave this to Christine to interpret you.

Hard information is difficult, but we all ask others to understand the complexities of New Age to help them avoid the manipulations of others.

If you've been reading this site for more than a day, you know the European Union and Obamaland are the most recent examples of the New World Order or World Government. They make the former Soviet Union government look weak and open.

Are people fighting back or are they letting it come about quietly. One site has links to over 64 sites every day.

I think their ideal is to have 75% of the employed working for the government, 25% of the employed, undoubted everyone even low income described as undeservedly rich, and the rest living on handouts.

I think you might be confusing two things here. I believe that the MENTALITY of some senior politicians and government officials in the EU and Washington are fairly similar to the mentality of communist apparatchiks. But they are still quite a long way, thanks to the tradition of freedom in the USA (and UK), from making the West as unfree a place to live as communist Russia was. Keep perspective!

I can't stand when people equate present-day life in the US to the former USSR or other totalitarian regimes. They are not the same - we are MUCH freer, still, than the people who lived under the Soviet boot of the KGB. Unless you've lived somewhere like it yourself, you have no idea what it's like except what you read in books. And that's not the same as living it.

I wish there were readers here who actually lived behind the Iron Curtain who could say better than I what I mean.

Marko, are you saying you lived under the heel of the Soviets?

Are you unable to see how tactics change based on circumstances? The Soviet leaders were not stupid people. They used the tactics that worked.

Are you saying that keeping information from the general public is a tactic that no longer exists?

Are you saying that terror is no longer a tactic? If that is what you are saying, you need to review the people killed in connection with the Clintons.

    Just what is your point?

    ReplyDelete
  121. It was but on a much smaller scale. Debt is the main instrument now. Whoever has the most will be the measuring stick everyone else is brought to before they hit reset. At this point the US is being allowed to float more debt due solely to assets still held in private hands, property, mineral rights, means of production, water rights etc.Now when I say private hands, I mean mom and pop or even the average corporation, not the aforementioned multi national that falls under the big global umbrella. The credit restrictions will kill what's left of private ownership, by ensuring smaller business has no way of obtaining capital. Now I am not talking a measley $250,000 cap like what we argue here for tax purposes. You would need to be doing business on the scale of Walmart or Google for this not to effect you. Which is where the cleaving line becomes obvious. This will play out very similar to the mortgage crisis, or the banking crisis with larger entities swallowing smaller ones as credit dries up. Once we hit the final part of this cycle, the big boys left standing will get their books readjusted (some will likely get the Lehman Bros treatment while those inside are allowed to consume them) as will everyone else but the assets will be gone from us forever.

I specifically asked about World Economic Forum because I see it as such a perfect embodiment of exactly what I am talking about. If you follow their plenary sessions back a few years the method I described above is obvious. Now if it were just non important issues or no real action type of thing I could understand it, but it's not. It's a think tank unto itself, a think tank that violates federal racketeering laws alone, lest I mention what the charges that could be applied to public officials are. Ever heard of the Millenium Challenge Corporation? It's the corporate entity that our officials register themselves as representing at this event and others like it. Why? Because it would be treason to attend as a legal representative of the State Department. Cross reference attendees here with Council on Foreign Relations members, with Federal Reserve Board members, with board members of companies running liason between private sector and intelligence operations like In-Q-Tel, start looking at the specific cross pollination. Stephen Friedman is but one name I can immediately think of. Google will give you better specifics but with this one guy managed to run executive positions for Walmart, Fannie Mae, In-Q-Tel, Goldman Sachs, Federal Reserve board of directors, National Economic Council director(Obama), economic advisor to the President (Bush), as well as the typical think tanks like CFR, WEF, Brookings, Aspen Institute, and this doesn't account for direct contact or relationships to literally dozens of topics concerning global government. Now as impressive as this resume is, it has peers working along side it. Quietly connecting nodes and networks and killing active competition.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Wrong 1:09, it was loans called by New York Fed board members that caused the stock short sale panic. The elimination of the right of the public to hold gold was the wealth grab. FDR simply funneled it back to the Fed who started the uproar to begin with.

  124. Correct, what caused the bubble was the Fed as well. Out of control unregulated loans created the roaring twenties. Many of the same loans that were called causing the panic I describe above. The method hasn't changed since they started the game, just the scale and scope.

    Anon. 3:07,

No, I have not lived there.

As far as my point, I thought I made myself pretty clear.

All the people that were "suicided" under the Clinton's "Fostergate" era are certainly indicative of a government that can and does operate outside of the law from time to time, and could be compared to, say, Putin's elimination of press, et al, that say negative things about him or oppose his grab for absolute power.

But that's taking one small similarity and ignoring the huge differences. Gulags, for example. And the starvation of millions of people, for another. We have had none of that here.

I don't understand your other questions and references... they seem to refer to things I've not even brought up.

Tactics are the means to implement a strategy. The strategies of the Communist leaders during the Cold War (and other tyrants both then and now) are different than the strategies of the leaders of Western nations today. East vs. West - Communism/Marxism/Islamism on the one hand, and Capitalism / Consumerism on the other. One's strategy is centered on conquest, the other's on obtaining material goods and wealth and positions of prestige and power and whatever else fills their lustful and greedy impulses, which they think they can take from whomever they want to. Which will win in a shoot-out, I wonder? Perhaps the East won't even have to fire a shot.... their ideological child Obama is taking us over the cliff and doing all the dirty work for them.

    Hello Constance,
I am not used to doing this, but I am going to dive in here for a few minutes. I am glad to hear your radio transmission. I found you because I watch Stanley Monteith's lectures, and he had you in a forum where you spoke about your Hidden Dangers of The Rainbow. I currently live in Southern California, and am quite disturbed at what I see going on here, but it is all in God's Plan. The NWO is streaming in in many different ways, and God is in control. I take a lot of peace in really knowing this.
There is no nuclear war mentioned in The Bible. Ezekiel 38 and 39, where the Valley of Hamongog is mentioned, speaks of how God Himself is coming down. There is not going to be a WWIII. The NWO is for Anti-Christ, and will not happen until he shows up. We are in the falling away that is spoken in The Bible. We really are. It blows me away! I’ve grown up in it for the last 55 years and not even known it. The raiser of taxes is in clear and present view (Daniel 11), and the vile person is mentioned in the next verse. So what about that? Isn't that interesting! It has to be a very subtle, an almost quiet falling away...like grass growing. But to just look back at things, and how fast its going...there are no words. It has to get bad enough so that Anti-Christ can come and take away all the troubles with flatteries and prosperity. This is the ultimate Hegelian Dialectic!
2Thes 21-4 (paraphrase) Then the man of sin will be revealed; the son of perdition who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God. He will sit in the Temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
The post-modern emergent movement is most painful. This post-modern generation, who has trashed reason and absolutes, ought to read of Kierkegaard and Luther who say in spiritual matters, often we must betray reason to have real faith. But in this younger generation- few know of any faith - much less of God. I wake up each morning with the hope it will be different. My individual actions and behaviors can be addressed, but as for the world scene, it's like standing on a cliff watching a giant tidal wave coming. Luther called reason an enemy of faith. Why? Because reason can never satisfy spiritual aspects of life. Gradualism, an oblivious state of sleep, tries to take God out of our lives, and this is why the slightest brush-off of the truth is dangerous. There will be no nuclear holocaust. The Bible speaks of Hammongog and Armageddon being the last wars. And those wars will be fought by God Himself so the heathen will see that He is the one true God. (EZ 38 and 39 and Rev 11).
If one is in God's Word, and searching, it is very plain that evil does not have much more time. We must turn to God, under the blood of Jesus, and watch and pray. Tthe Bible is truly alive; it is Christ Himself, and is very fascinating. I see your devotion and sincere love for God. Your testimony at the gathering of Benjamin Creme years ago was a real testimony of your love for God through Christ. You put your love for God before your own safety. I long to have that courage in Him!
Your devotion to God and your courage to help people inspires me. I wish I could say more. I have probably said too much. Thank you for quoting scripture and caring about your own soul.
    God Bless you Constance.

Since Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac are now under the control of (owned by?)the Treasury and that the Treasury is now under the control of the Fed Reserve and no longer under any significant (or any?) control by Congress, doesn't that mean that the owners of the Fed now own the mortgages in FM and FM and, if the mortgage holders default, will own the property being mortgaged? I believe the elite have now grabbed the houses of those with FM or FM mortgage?

wrong. I test everything by The Bible. And nuclear war doesn't fit this, since most victims are vaporized, and perimeter survivors faces and hands are melted, yeah, but the overall picture doesn't fit.

My theory of aliens being genetically reengineered humans from before The Flood (offworld when it happened) would fit a 6 Day Creationist perspective a lot better than the usual take on them does. And incidentally, a grey and a reptoid told different people who had worked with them in rogue govt. secret deals and bases underground, that they originally came from earth.

Well, well. That's a whole lot more biblical than either they are ALL demons no flesh at all, or evolution etc.

What kind of edification do you want? warmed over garbage from the self appointed prophecy experts getting you all steamed up and excited (no that's not The Holy Spirit but THE FLESH) and they don't even notice some details on the Ezkiel 38 war and write USSR into the scene because that was the obsession when they got their spurs?

The four beasts of Daniel: a lion, Britain and its pup the USA and NATO USA's pawn; the bear, Russia but not USSR commies; the four winged leopard, China, with four major locations on earth or four kinds of flight capability, commercial, military, low earth orbit, and deep space; the fourth beast, something else from some place that borders on the Mediteranean most likely, could arise from Africa, and out of this will come the antichrist.

we got a ways to go yet, folks.

But live like Jesus is due any minute. That is the way a Christian should orient him or herself. Our hope and expectation is not the Rapture, it is eternal life and being on Jesus' right hand with the sheep at the Last Judgement.

Several people on this blog use the title "anonymous". I, too, am using it because I am new to blogging, but I am now going to step out and distance myself from some of the things said on this blog that are hurting people, since I do not want to be part of the malicious words being used.

I wrote a note to Constance, and now I see there are all kinds of uninformed utterances, lots of mud-slinging about The Bible and judging others' knowledge of it.

Really, I don't want any part of this, if that is what this is. The Bible is not to be used to make a point or win an argument; nor to be used to hurt people. Just knock it off!

This is one reason why I don't like social media. There are always the ratchet-jaws who stir up trouble. This blog deserves better than that.

Don't know about Christine's relationship with God. I did not comment on that so you might rethink your statement. Her working knowledge of the Bible is the troubling part because she pontificates with it. That is plain rude of her. So spiritual discernment is very lacking and it shows terribly in her talking down to folks here and proporting to teach us when we are capable of understanding without her barage of nonsense, especially using the Bible. That is what is grievious and wrong here and happens so very often and time to tell her that.

So if you new on this scene, want to stick around for that fine. But it is sad to make the least comment here and Christine takes it to never neverland, ruining much of what would have been good discussion. It must be her intent to distract and hijack this place because she so persistently excels at it. Even as she puts on her theologian hat. Collapse comments does nothing to stop the "plague" she is here. Constance herself has weighed in with her, wanting her to limit herself and use a better approach and to no avail. Maybe you are finally the one who can get through to her....and tell her to cool it..............

Leigh, what is the difference between those who sit back and say "God is in charge" and those who say "What Me Worry? Don't worry, be happy." Both just sit back and let history take its course. What is the difference between those who sit back and try to interpret symbols in Revelations or Apocalypse and those who read magical signs in tea leaves? Not a darn thing. They just want to leave people to their fate while they do nothing to help their fellow man. Nothing. They just want to feel superior about what they think is happening compared to people who don't read the symbols or tea leaves. Stupid pride.

Knowledge about the real world while difficult to make others understand what is happening is harder than imagined. I could post many links warning people about the future, things that they could use to help themselves, but while they are consoled by people who teach them to just hope and change, they get taken in by people like Obama or other prideful people like Christine.

Constance early on warned people what was going on, but then she has left them to flounder in a cesspool of garbage information. Better she never warned others only to give them hope that something was being done to help them save themselves and their families while she lives in the glory of the past.

The work she did, and still does by having this information and access to a free pdf copy of Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow is to give people the tools to recognize, pull themselves and maybe others out of the spiritual trap, and if something is going to happen no stopping it, that is just the big picture. The DETAILS are modifiable.

God told the despairing Elijah that 6,000 or 7,000 depending on the cite had not bowed the knee to Baal. These weren't high profile so Elijah didn't know of them. But perhaps Elijah's preaching had played a role in their keeping pure.

I actually don't disagree with you, but would advise looking into the history of credit that was allowing the production of the time. Everything was the equivalent of adjustable rate mortgages, but most every line of credit was being run this way. It was these loans that the Fed inflated and then short called. It WAS the reason we HAD a law in place that made short calling loans illegal. We are not in complete disagreement as I understand some of what you mean about WWI production, however it wasn't solely that production spurring the bubble. Credit was loose to everyone, this was a lot like subprime mortgages. You had folks with loans that had no real means of repayment, that was the bubble itself. Glass Steagall kept them from ever doing it again until Clinton, and once it was repealed they did it again, immediately!

    has already come to pass.

Now the focus has to be not so much on prevention (outside of deal with individuals) and mitigation or even rollback.

IF this is what is prophesied, rollback can't happen except in some locations. IF this is just another dry run and not the beginning of the end, then it will fail.

Reading current events, technology and concerns into The Bible (and even twisting it to promote ideas like Joachim of Flores and his downline), is not new. It can be found throughout the past 800 or so years.

How about sobering up out of your medicated head and leave "la la land" and join the rest of us that have to learn to give and take in relationships rather than your just take lifestyle as you have inadvertently admitted to? How about humble sharing of your thoughts to talk to us us-----not talk at us-----incessantly? How about you go get some edification into your own heart and mind, come back and actually contribute to this place instead of drain it for your own unresolved and demanding emotional needs? You have your own blog why do you insist on owning this one too?
Yes, welcome new comer....you don't have to bow the knee to Christine either.....

I am afraid you describe yourself. ranting on and on, anyone remotely resembling your mental or information capacity is an object of your envy.

Thrust myself into conversation? What an ignorant childish person you are, and how PRESUMPTUOUS YOU ARE,

To even IMAGINE for EVEN A SECOND,

that anything posted in a public forum on line, such as this is, is not the public property of all to comment on.

you do not hesitate to correct as you think you are doing. Really, it is to silence everyone but yourself and your own clicque.

your whole motivation is against Christian and Torah values whatever your alleged faith is.

I suspect you believe only in yourself.

And you wouldn't be the first, if you are who I suspect you to be, to have been a brilliant person with some great information, to run ground on the shoals of pride, seeking glory, seeking control, and going into an overfocus or outright error.

On and on you go, draining this place with your own unresolved and demanding emotional needs...to be central, to be approved, to be unquestionable, to be worshipped and exalted.

yeah, I've seen your kind in action before.

newcomer, I don't expect you to bow to me, but don't be deceived by anon 10:51, who will definitely expect you to bow the knee to her or him? Just wait and see what happens if you don't keep silent about the following....Christian doctrine....possibility or actuality of standard credentialed historians etc. being deceived or on a payroll of either money or prestige....the New Age movement being only spiritual if she/he is in a mood to claim it is only political, or only political if she/he is in a mood to claim it is only spiritual.

But God help you if you notice it is BOTH spiritual and political, because even though at one point she/he DID say EXACTLY that when she/he for some unknown reason thought this would work against me, in general this drew her/his most intense fire.

Sorry this scene isn't going on in my house, I would offer you coffee, chocolate, sandwich, cigarette, whatever legal would help you through this.

Don't get driven off, and do read through the archives and the herescope.com blog linked on Constance's front page, there is a lot of good stuff there.

    Christine,
when I talked about a cesspool of garbage information I was referring to your postings.

Undoubtedly Constance is tired out at her age. At one time there were many people who were contributing information.

Jesus recognized he needed disciples who could take over the work. He didn't run a one man show.

Who is left that could take over the important work? No one was groomed.

All that appears to be left is you Christine, with your cesspool of garbage information. You will never develop a following. You have nothing to offer.

The movement to fight New Age appears to be dead.

  161. Hello Christine,

Please do not gossip about others with me. If you are a Christian, then please don't gossip. The others who are slinging garbage are the same.

The stuff happening on this blog is a good example of what the New Age Movement has done. Nobody knows how to look at themselves instead of gossiping and judging others. Nothing sincere here. Nothing really matters anymore, does it.

I don't hear much here that reflects reading and understanding.

I guess I'll just stay off this blog. Don't send me anymore messages. I thought this was Constance's blog. Why don't we just wait for her reply instead of stirring up a bunch of phlegm.

I wouldn't blame Constance if she closed this blog.

So, what are you really doing to help people in this time of cultural destruction?

  162. For those reading, I would like to address the topic of the poster exodus that is being referenced here as I feel it is being misrepresented. The crux of this goes back much more than a few years and was in full swing by as early as 2007. There have always been debates here, theological or otherwise. However there was at one point a contingency that would post anti Catholic or anti-Semitic content to get a rise out of certain posters. This was often done at peaksof iinformation sharing that existed among several posters here. At first Catholics would rally together, or a Jewish contributor would refute the information but it didn't take long for the cycle of baiting and bashing got personal to the posters that were offended. Some of us, regardless of theological bend, recognized the pattern and started banding together. I personally had my email flamed numerous times for siding with those that were being targeted. Some felt, and still do, that a formal stance should have been taken by the admin. In the process of this division started to work in between posters, which I still feel would not have happened if not for a couple of talented anonymous personalities. Some posters started leaving simply to avoid conflict, while others burned through each other in the wake the offenders left. It should never be lost to anyone that as posters disappeared, so did the offensive baiting that was taking place.

I think it's a misconception that all of those posters are gone. Many of them I am still in regular contact with and understand they do post from time to time, and if not still occasionally lurk. I won't speak as to why many continue to choose to post anonymously or not at all, but will say they all have various reasons and it wasn't a organized boycott like many seem to think. I had as many variant reasons for not posting, just as I have for my latest break of silence.

Hopefully this doesn't end back in that negative space, as many of these folks still have a lot that could be being shared on a open forum like this. I know it would likely take more than I am capable, but I can hope.

Of course this is a public place so anyone is welcome to post here, Christine. It is the ungracious way you address folks, and topics, here that is more the issue, more, than even the absurdity of many of your posts, that is being taken to task, yet you remain in correction mode with us. Correct yourself and you'll have grace to give others here and the rudeness can stop. Try it...you might like it (and we would be relieved).

    Hello Christine,

I don't even know you personally, and never saw your name before now. what am I to gossip about? your request puzzles me greatly.

anonymous venomous, you say I have never developed a following.

If you see developing a following as either proving validity or as the proper goal in posting rather than informing people of what they need to know, then you are a sorry, carnal, and immature mess indeed.

In fact, I do have some fans from here. But that is another matter.

As for cesspool of garbage, I know that refers to me, but in my eyes it is YOU who turns this blog into a cesspool of garbage with your interminable and innumerable posts devoted to attacking me.

Guess what. your words may make others near you cringe and beg for your acceptance of them, but they mean nothing to me. I have a thick skin, and this behavior while puzzling me until now, has never caused me distress. I have engaged in physical fights with men ending in a standoff at least one win by me and one I admit backdown by me, but mostly standoffs.

you are wasting your time trying to intimidate me. I don't intimidate easy, and you make such a contemptible fool of yourself, that your approval is the last thing I want.

Now, JD notes "It should never be lost to anyone that as posters disappeared, so did the offensive baiting that was taking place."

This confirms my suspicion, that the function of the baiting was to shut down this blog or render it useless.

Because that is what happened. Many good contributors seem to have gone missing after coming under attack.

It is too bad that the attackers are mostly anonymous and those who aren't don't give enough info to track them. I suspect that some interesting associates would indicate an interesting agenda on their part.

    Leigh,
The fight against the New Age movement has a behind the scenes history involving many individuals both for and against that movement. It is not just the details about New Age that are involved.

The New Age movement can be broken down into many different segments because of its long history. Individuals in small or large numbers can be involved in opposing a segment of it without ever knowing that there is a larger picture. The fight against Common Core is an example of that.

If this blog was closed at this point, there would be no great loss. Nothing is being accomplished here. Over the years there may have been many, many listeners, but few contributors.

Christine, you have no supporters here. I called out asking if there was anyone who honestly supported you. No one stepped forward.

There are quite a few of us who are disgusted with your behavior. It is only your stupidity that makes you believe you are being attacked by only one person.

More than one person knows of your history, not only here on this blog but elsewhere.

JD you are right when you speak of the history of this blog. To share information on this blog we have had to become anonymous posters. No respect is shown for serious sharers of information by Constance.

Anyone who has been around for a few years knows that Christine is only one in a long line of characters that have shown that this blog has had no standards by which it operates. Judging by what goes on here, those who take the fight against New Age seriously anywhere are made to look like damn fools.

  168. Christine,

I would appreciate if you left my comments as they were. This is not meant in a condescending way. I purposely structured my comment as to leave personalities and offenses clean of any negative criticism on my part. There were some very good people that were set at odds with one another due to outside influence, some of that is still very sore to some. Please don't take this wrong, but I don't want my words used in any divisive conversation no matter who quotes me. I said what I did as contextual background, nothing more.

    ReplyDelete
  169. You called out when and where? perhaps my supporters don't read your garbage so they didn't notice. One who to spare him your venom I will not name contacted me through my blog and has had several conversations with me over the phone and another one posted here some months ago saying that after looking at my blog it is obvious I am a Christian, I love the Lord Jesus Christ, and that using New Agers ideas against them is not working on their behalf.

In all your vitriol, exactly what have you ever posted that is a contribution to either studying or figuring out how and suggesting how to fight the New Age?

I have posted a lot of such, and precisely anything that might be a tool in the war against them is what you attack.

Looks increasingly to me like YOU ARE THE NEW AGE AGENT HERE.

and/or have these personal problems of immaturity and envy that have the same effect.

I notice that while once you never had the guts to attack Constance directly, only those who continue her work along the same lines she did, you are now starting to attack her.

Before that, you would attempt to shut down any research that followed her line, sometimes by saying the poster was ignorant others by saying the poster was trying to steal Constance's thunder, as if you were her champion.

Instead of merely looking pathetic, you are increasingly looking ominous.

"The New Age movement can be broken down into many different segments because of its long history. Individuals in small or large numbers can be involved in opposing a segment of it without ever knowing that there is a larger picture. The fight against Common Core is an example of that."

I don't know who wrote that, or with what intent. But you are dead on right.

Here is something that CAN be done.

Get ahold of those anti Common Core people, and educate them about the big picture.

IF this is anonymous venomous, then your intent was to act all nice until Leigh comes up with something good enough to be threatening, and then go on the warpath against her. The position you take in this paragraph is exactly what you have viciously attacked in the past, the multifariousness of NAM.

But inadvertently, you have provided a weapon to use against NAM if anyone wants to do so.

The weapon is what the anti CC movement can become if it wises up to the bigger picture.

What everyone here needs to do, is get ahold of the anti CC people they know, and educate them.

I suggested quite some time ago that someone start a discussion board somewhere that can be moderated, and that is better suited for research. Discussions can be broken into topic threads; the moderators can suspend or ban members who get out of control; and the body of work presented as a whole is more organized and readable and lends itself to attracting others who are interested.

It can be done anonymously - only the owner / moderators would know who the anon posters are, and only then by username, not by real name or address or any other identifying piece of info (except the IP address the person posting is posting from, and even that can be "faked" if needed).

I've searched, and the only other place where there is ANY kind of New Age section is over at fulfilledprophecy.com, Holly Peters' site that was started by Herb Peters.

But.... as is the case with the blog owner here, who has the time for setting up and moderating something like that the way that is needed? Nobody, I'm guessing. So... this is what we have. *sigh*

My oh my an extensive post I just made giving information about Christine's background has disappeared. It appeared and then disappeared. Are we into disappearing posts again? I do remember there was a time when I had to post an important piece of information was it seven, or nine times before it stayed up. In fact there were several times that I had to copy and save everything I wrote and then post it over and over again before it stayed up. It started happening to other posters here.

I guess I'll just have to rewrite it. We started to worry that this blog was being carefully watched. Oh yes, I'll copy this and start counting the times I have posted it.

It just might be that someone has Christine's back. I wonder who it could be.

This guy seems to have got the original idea from some spirit channeling.

I think the best way to discredit CC is to expose this origin as well as its practical problems. After all, some mindnumbing blather running the reverse of normal learning procedures of any creature, and a few twists along the way, that has its origin in something paranormal (or else psychotic) should be easier to attack once this is publically known.

This should appear as post 177, following CE's as 176.

Readers, I was wondering what Christine was up to these days and so I went to her profile.
    http://www.blogger.com/profile/11594093718714798117

It appears she has started her own blog on the New Age movement. It only has one post, but as is Christine's style, it is quite long. http://fightthenewage.blogspot.com/ The full title is "Time to Fight the New Age." Now that's funny. I wonder what many of us have been doing for the last thirty plus years when we thought we were fighting the New Age movement.. Were we just waiting around hoping Christine would show up?

It does look like Christine doesn't like some of us. She writes,

"Constance Cumbey's blog is excellent, but she has a few
people over there who tend to undermine any practical
efforts against the New Age. I can't tell if they are fools
or agents. One in particular goes on the attack when
anything serious in the way of analysis or providing tools
to use against the New Age is attempted. I won't speculate
here on her motives, maybe it is just a mental problem.

"And I think it is time to start a blog that will address issues
that such people think are "confusing," while they in fact
just throw the occasional link to something we can bitch
about, but don't seem to want anything practical done,
and attack any effort to do a Christian analysis, despite the
    fact Constance's blog is Christian."

Now she does link to some of my extensive research at Israel Forum. http://www.israelforum.com/board/showthread.php?12369-A-Report-On-Nazism-in-the-New-Age-Movement. In fact two of who have posted here contributed. There's a lot more over there as I wanted to get the information out to the Jewish community. I thought Savvy was Jewish, but it turned out she is a very orthodox Catholic, a solid researcher. .

Christine posted, "Click on view my complete profile to see links to my other blogs. Infowolf1@aol.com, but there was nothing there. However doing a Google search on Infowolf1 led to a treasure trove of numerous places that Christine is busy at. How she finds time to post here is really open to question.

She has a Facebook site https://www.facebook.com/infowolf1 which also is very active. Although she shows an interest in a group called The World Alien Resistance Network - WARN, there is no indication she has any interest in fighting the New Age movement. She does have a wide range of friends and appears very tolerant for a Christian. Many priests and churches on the Friend list, but also a Tim whose description would fit into a porno magazine. I'm not going to quote it. We need to know more about this active advice giver, particularly since she seems to have a friend in high places. This is the second time I had to write this piece as the first one appeared and quickly disappeared on the blog. However, I've saved it. Hopefully it will stay up.

If you do not have a space for gardening where you live, many communities have plots for rent! Probably your local food co-op has a community garden? That would be a good place to witness to NA folks!!!! Just a thought.

  181. Tim is my stepson.

Reading The Bible through in 3 or 4 months means paying as much attention to it as you would to a massive epic multi volume fiction you got engrossed in.

Time to Fight The New Age means fight instead of just analyze it.

Which I have taken a step in doing, I contacted a site against Common Core, with the information that it originates from a channeler that might make someone look closer.

Grace and respect eh? I haven't seen much from you. Its here's a couple of links once or twice a month and then day after day of Christine is a creep.

Ironically, I defended you against another hassler some time ago, who picked on you for being a kabalist, since your involvement in it would be minimal, and in that zone of pop kabbalah that is not inconsistent with normal Torah attitudes anyway. Like, repairing the world means a complex neoplatonic unmosaic borrowed concepts from semi pagan hellenizing Jews of the two centuries BC in kabbalah but in practical application is just good deeds and make things better than you found them.

But get deeply into it, and you got another matter, the divine spark implying consubstantiality with God, something He denies over and over (context idolatry but it adds up to the same thing) in Torah and Prophets. creation out of nothing not out of Himself.

Now let's look at Kabbalah, and from JEWISH SOURCES WHO DON'T LIKE IT.

I collected these from online in various places.

this is a list of famous rabbis who rejected either all or classical parts
    of Kabbalah
    http://sagavyah.tripod.com/id77.html

Rabbi Saadiah Gaon wrote in his book Emunot v'Deot that Jews who believe in reincarnation have accepted a non-Jewish belief.

Maimonides (12th Century) discounted the mystical work Shiur Komah, with its starkly anthropomorphic vision of G-d, which is a popular kabbalistic text even in modern times.

Abraham ibn Daud, around 1110 to 1180; rejected reincarnation.

Rabbi Avraham ben haRambam, like his predecessors, writes at length in his book Milhhamot HaShem that the Almighty is in no way literally within time or space nor physically outside time or space, since time and space simply do not apply to His Being whatsoever. His book is almost undeniably targeted at the forbearers of much of kabbalistic thought.

    Leon de Modena rejected reincarnation.

Rabbi Nissim ben Reuven (The Ran), 1320-1380; reproved the Nachmonides (Ramban) for devoting too much to kabbalah and is said to have been "no friend of mysticism."

Yedayah Bedershi, early 14th century; rejected reincarnation.

Rabbi Yitzchak ben Sheshet Perfet (The Rivash), 1326-1408; he stated that Kabbalah was "worse than Christianity", as it made God into 10, not just into three.

    ReplyDelete
  182. Hasdai ben Abraham Crescas, 1340-1410/11; rejected reincarnation.

Joseph Albo, 15th century; rejected reincarnation.

Rabbi Leon Modena, a 17th century Venetian critic of Kabbalah, wrote that if we were to accept the Kabbalah, then the Christian trinity would indeed be compatible with Judaism, as the Trinity closely resembles the Kabbalistic doctrine of sefirot.

Rabbi Yaakov Emden, 1697-1776, wrote the book Mitpahhath Sfarim (Scarf / Veil of the Books) which is a detailed critique of the Zohar. He concludes that certain parts of the Zohar contain heretical teaching and therefore could not have been written by Rabbi Shimon ben Yochai. Opponents of the book claim that he wrote the book in a drunken stupor.

Rabbi Samuel Strashun, 1794-1872, in Bava Metzia 107a, in his famous commentary to the Talmud, R' Strashun (the "Rashash" of Europe) points out a Talmudic proof against gilgulim. A rebbi in Kol Torah put out a book called 'dvar yakov' on tractate bava metzia. In commenting on this particular statement by the Rashah, the author of the book is goes off on how the Rashash could contradict "kabbalistic masters."

Rabbi Shimshon Raphael Hirsch, 1808-1888, among other things, specified that belief in reincarnation is one of the major distinctions between what were the religious opinions (hashqafa) of the Ancient Egyptions in contrast to the religious perspective (hashqafa) of the Jewish Faith. He writes that reincarnation was central to the Egyptian Faith.

Rabbi Yihhyah Qafehh, an early 20th century Yemenite Jewish leader wrote a book called Milhhamoth HaShem, (Wars of the L-RD) against what he perceived as the false teachings of the Zohar and "Lurianic Kabbalah."

Nechama Leibowitz, 1905-1997; renown modern scholar and commentator to the Tanakh - avoided making use of kabbalistic works in her commentaries.

    ReplyDelete
  183. Yeshayahu Leibowitz 1903-1994, the brother of Nechama Leibowitz; he publically shared and supported views expressed in Rabbi Yihhyah Qafehh's book Milhhamoth HaShem that much of popular 'kabbala' is idolatrious; was against allowing kabbalistic texts to influence halakhic practice.

Rabbi Yosef Kapach taught against allowing kabbalistic texts to influence halakhic practice.

    Rabbi Jose Faur
the collector of this list says,

"Kabbalah means "reception" or "that which was received." This term was used in reference to the full body of Jewish Law, including Tanakh (Hebrew Bible / O. T) and the Talmudic texts which the Jewish people had inherited (received) from their ancient ancestors. The general meaning of the term remained unchanged until the late Middle Ages. Beginning with the supposed "revelation" of the Zohar in the 1300's (which, by the way, means that it was not part of what the Jews as a people had inherited (ie: received [Kabbalah]) from their ancestors up unto that time), the term Kabbalah slowly began to be applied to mystical teachings as promoted by certain rabbis....While there is no doubt that there is a true esoteric aspect to Torah learning -- referred to in Talmudic literature as Ma'aseh Merquva and Ma'aseh B'resheyth -- yet that which today is known as Kabbalah is neither learned nor taught according to the codified Talmudic laws (halakha) concerning how valid esoteric teachings are to be conveyed (see Hilkhoth Yesodei Torah); Nor does the modern idea of Kabbalah match the historical use of the term. Historical Kabbalah referred to publically known and publically taught Torah teaching which had been passed down generation after generation from the time of the Sanhedrin in accordance with the laws by which these teachings were to be conveyed -- and all without secretes and without unrectifiable contradictions. No concept of the modern Kabbalah (Zohar, etc...) was written about or referred to by any known Jewish leaders until the around the 1300's when this supposed pillar of Judaism was suddenly revealed to the world, without the authority of the Sanhedrin, needless to say. After the revelation of the modern Kabbalah, many innovations began to "revitalize" the Jewish religion and enlighten the masses to the "true" and "deeper" meanings of the commandments and halakhot (rabbinic laws). While living in Israel, I spent a lot of time and effort researching the origins of this malignant tumor upon Judaism. The more I researched, the more clear it became that most of the Kabbalah is based on forgeries, baseless fanciful thinking and thinly veiled ideas borrowed from ...various ancient pagan religions.... One of the pivotal beliefs of the Kabbalah is that humans can affect the higher spiritual realms through our actions, and even through the words we speak – such as in prayer. "

    [NOTE THE FOLLOWING:]

"According to the Kabbalah, a prayer is not simply a creature speaking to his creator. Rather, it is a creature acting as an engineer and manipulating the various relationships between the various lofty spheres (called “sephiroth”).

The belief in an ability to bring about change in remote entities, through seemingly minor actions (before the invention of remote control, mind you), is not unusual in primitive religions. In fact, the first such religion that pops into the minds of many people is Voodoo.....
It never occurred to me, years ago when I rejected the Kabbalah, that this same type of critical thinking would some day lead me to reject Leftism....

"It’s ironic that the most conservative Jews, traditional religious ones, are now the most fervent believers in the Kabbalah. They cling to it because they consider it an integral part of Judaism – and Judaism defines their identity. Yet the remnant of authentic Judaism, which they still keep to some extent, protects their minds from the poisonous brew of the Kabbalah. At least to a certain degree....

It’s not difficult to reveal the true origins of Kabbalistic works such as the Zohar. They are blatant forgeries. What is difficult is to wean people of the defective thought processes that came along with it."

    http://www.jewfaq.org/kabbalah.htm
"Other traditional Jews take mysticism with a grain of salt. One prominent Orthodox Jew, when introducing a speaker on the subject of Jewish mysticism, said basically, "it's nonsense, but it's Jewish nonsense, and the study of anything Jewish, even nonsense, is worthwhile.""

The following tidbits show that a tension has existed in Judaism
regarding Kabbalah. So those Jews here who are into it too much,
    might want to rethink this.

you can end up arguing that something is the only way to serve God correctly
when it isn't, and may even be spoken of disapprovingly by Him in Torah and/or
    Prophets, my own remark here.

I want to repeat this as relevant to both left wing and right wing Christian thinking as well. And the whole libertarian thing. And the whole rigid unworkable marxist-leninist thing. And the whole dominionist semi Christian thing. And the whole Zoroastrianism thing as it developed soon after Zoroaster's death till most of the Zoroastrian scriptures contain nothing of his words but the Gathas and scraps elsewhere. And the whole Jesus is capitalist, Jesus is socialist, Jesus is Republican, Jesus is Democrat, Jesus is fascist monarchist warrior antisemitic aryan hero, and of course, the infamous Jesus is Teilhard's evolving God into cosmos into omega point whatnot thing and of course the whole scholarly credentialed liberal theologian (read: atheist) Jesus Seminar thing.

You've successfully hijacked this blog with Constance's help. I have no intention of working or having anything to do with you and by continuing to post here I would be selling out all of my values.

After thirty plus years of actively fighting and exposing the New Age movement along with Constance, I will just have to do what I do based on my own efforts and that of my friends.

I am sure Constance will have no problem with my decision. I can't waste my time here any more.

Many people she has interviewed and on whose shows she appears also do not waste their time posting here.

How many posts is that in the last 24 hours Christine? You apparently now run your own blog for New Age, but you drop new stuff into the discussions here. Please put your new stuff only on your own blog.

  190. A confession of sin, to God and to all here.

I have hitherto ignored Common Core because I frankly didn't care about education, I have no children, I am grown, so the world can go to hell so to speak it won't affect me.

That was wrong. I am sorry.

Really hate to see you go Dorothy. You are tremendous help here--in spite of the distractions that hinder so much. I understand but hope you will reconsider.

  193. Dorothy, you do sometimes contribute good stuff, perhaps more than sometimes. If you could just swallow your pride and not waste reams of space of this blog on denunciation and just let people add what they (and they might have insights you have missed) think are important and live and let live, things would be more functional here. you take as much or more space as I do just complaining.

Ahhhh! There it is....why not only admit your own wrongs and not poke back like you just did with Dorothy? Not only is it incredibly immature, but is also the height of pride in yourself, Christine, that always wants-even demands-the last word--and looking with jaundice at others rather than allowing God to do a wholesale correction in your own life and leaving it at that. Trusting God to correct you and giving grace to others trusting that He can and will correct others according to what He knows and sees-not you. The nutshell of why you are the problem. Loving to make this place always somehow about you. Told you before....you edify no one-Ever.

  195. For some reason, God has allowed mixture.
So those that are to be deceived, have a deceiver? I do not know.
Even in Solomon's day there were plenty of symbolism and carvings and imagery put into the temple of Solomon of other origins, even as God's law prohibited this.
Also a lot of astrological terminology, and dates and feasts based on moons.
Additionally the many speaking of 'wisdom' as an entity unto itself as if separate from God. Can the finite grasp the infinite?

The less I understand the more I need the simple faith of a child in the simple gospel of Christ.
It seems that no matter what heresy or delusion people find themselves (including me), they all can find a verse to hang their hat!

God legislated righteousness with his law; of which none could uphold. In the book of Job it states that the deceived and the deceiver are his. Jesus fulfilled the Law in all aspects and defeated Satan, yet here he is?

Mat 13:28-30 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

God used and continues to use the deceiver to deceive.
    Job 12:24.25 Jer 4:10 Jer 20:7 Ezekiel 13:2-4 Ezekiel 14:9 Ezekiel 22:24-26 2 Kings 20:14-16
Job 12:16 With him [is] strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver [are] his.

Apparently those that need to be deceived need a deceiver! Humbly we seek his truth as not to fall under the derision of God by believing a lie?

The New Age is here to stay until such time as God's purpose is fulfilled? I think so.

  196. "Even in Solomon's day there were plenty of symbolism and carvings and imagery put into the temple of Solomon of other origins, even as God's law prohibited this.
Also a lot of astrological terminology, and dates and feasts based on moons."

Dan, there was no such symbolism and carving in the Temple as described by anyone who saw it or in The Bible or the deuterocanonicals. The cherubim
(pronounced kerubim) were not pagan, winged bulls and so forth were a species of angel that pagans would have seen the fallen versions of which. God directed the design of the Temple, gave this to David and told him to give it to Solomon to buils. The next Temple was a copy of this.

God's law prohibits making images of anything in order to worship them, that is the context, and to avoid slipping into this it is best to minimize imagery or eliminate it.

The calendar of feats on new moons etc. was mandated by God to Moses, and this was just the way of keeping time, like Genesis says, not a kind of astrology. marking time segments.

The deceived and the deceiver are both in God's hands. That doesn't mean God approves the deceiver, but the deceived are often falling into something because their sins of mind and heart and action keep God's wisdom from them.

Satan was defeated by being crippled, and has to back down to insistent application of Jesus' Name against him.

Death is defeated, because now it is inevitable that ALL will be resurrected and given immortal and indestructible but physical bodies, salvation is about whether they will live forever in such bodies in happiness with God, or in torments of varying degrees?

Things are more nuanced than either Latin or English make it look. Hebrew is more context driven and Greek has variables to it. I don't speak either, but I understand the points like this made about them.

God is light, and no darkness or shadow of turning said one of The Apostles in an Epistle. Don't get on the false path that leads to thinking that God is in some partnership with the devil or something like that. At present a chess game is going on, but God has struck the decisive blow, and the devil is doomed, therefore effectively defeated.

If you have a civil war and elements of the losing side are still lurking and raiding though the main center of power is broken, that is the picture you have now.

  197. Dorothy maybe to YOU if you say something or post some link that is all about YOU. That is your problem.
Don't interpret others according to your own characteristics. If I see something needs saying and hasn't been said, I try to say it.

Now, I will TRY to ignore you. I don't like spending so much time trying to educate someone who is only interested in attacking people who they think are stealing their thunder (and if you post as anon then you don't got no thunder, duh! sign your name if you want credit as a great researcher or a great denouncer of other researchers!)

Hypocritical blog hogging with such denunciation of others instead of specific answering of specific points you disagree with is hypocritical at best. I suspect a lot of people here are beginning to see you as silly.

10:47 Is Not Dorothy. I will stay anonymous because I don't need to be a big deal around here like you Christine. I come and go and call 'em like I see 'em. No agenda, just looking for the truth where I can find it. Think and say what you wish--I do not care-not even a little. But here is my question for ya....are you a Constance Cumbey wannabe Christine? You cannot get out of the way of the message so you're failing if that is why you are here..throwing your weight around. I forgive you this---but sure hope you can one day soon get over yourself. Even you would be relieved, and for sure, the rest of us. Ok--carry on......
