Congratulations to the newly married British royal couple!

These young people, William and Catherine (Kate), seem refreshing to me and the ceremony appeared to be a true Christian one.  I wish them a long and happy Godly life together.

Also, my deepest condolences to those in the southern USA, particularly Alabama, devastated by the tornado activity of the night before last.

I will be a radio guest on Dr. Stanley Monteith's program this evening.

Stay tuned!

Yes, the marriage was beautiful to watch and feel emotionally, primarily because it was a throwback to the past when things seemed more secure. She's fairy tale beautiful, shy but fun loving appearing and stopped working for a living since the engagement was announced. He appears to be a well-rounded, hard worker at hard jobs. The pageantry was a throwback to the past and there was a nice feeling of family on the balcony. The only real modern aspect was that she wore white and that they lived together for a while after the time of the engagement.

No mention of the European Union. Isn't it nice that the EU is leaving the monarchy for them, well at least for the time being. The Nazis got rid of the monarchy. Mistake I guess.

I wonder what the NWO will leave us here in the US so we can play Let's Pretend we are a real nation.

  4. Well, I couldn't help but notice, at least to my perception, that pro-EU and EU folk didn't appear to be present. Tony Blair and Gordon Brown were both noticeably excluded from the guest list, whereas Margaret Thatcher was invited (but was too ill to attend) as was John Major. I don't know where Major stands, however, on the EU issues. He was William and Harry's guardian on affairs related to their mother's death.

This is the prayer the couple composed for their wedding from the royal wedding website:

"Prince William and Catherine Middleton have written their own prayer:
'God our Father, we thank you for our families; for the love that we share and for the joy of our marriage.
In the busyness of each day keep our eyes fixed on what is real and important in life and help us to be generous with our time and love and energy.
Strengthened by our union help us to serve and comfort those who suffer. We ask this in the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Amen.'"

The Royal Family had to put up with endless minor shafts of contempt from the Labour administration of 1997-2010 and were dignified enough to keep silent through it all. Now they have used silence to make their views very clear by not inviting Blair and Brown to the wedding but inviting other former Prime Ministers. This was one of the minor joys of a day of major joy here in England.

Dorothy, the monarchy in Germany came to an end in the aftermath of World War I - nothing to do with the Nazis.

  7. Interestingly, the Queen of Spain and her daughter in law, Princess Letizia were at the British Royal Wedding. It just dawned on me why -- Queen Sofia of Spain is the SISTER of KING CONSTANTINE of Greece (Greece no longer has a monarchy.) KING CONSTANTINE is related to PRINCE PHILIP and is a GODFATHER to Prince William.

All in the family. All in all a nice diversion from otherwise ugly and disastrous things taking place inthe world. God held the rain back too. I suspect the Brits (and so many of the rest of us) needed our spirits lifted and this helped.

The people look to William and Kate for truth and love in action - something missing in global and local politics and business.
I wish them well and pray they will succeed in their marriage.
Thanks for posting the prayer Constance.

You probably are right. I'm not a historian. I just remembered that in the book Germany's National Vice Hitler would visit with members of the monarchy.

Here's another suggestion that though they didn't rule, they had power.

"Royals and the Reich: The Princes von Hessen in Nazi Germany by Jonathan Petropoulos. The author, who was given unprecedented access to royal archives, tells the story of the Princes of Hesse and the important role they played in the Nazi regime. The princes made the Nazis socially acceptable to high-society patrons, but they were betrayed by Hitler and later prosecuted by the Allies."

  18. What about this transcript of the message by Dr Chartres?

"You have both made your decision today – “I will” – and by making this new relationship, you have aligned yourselves with what we believe is the way in which life is spiritually evolving, and which will lead to a creative future for the human race.

We stand looking forward to a century which is full of promise and full of peril. Human beings are confronting the question of how to use wisely a power that has been given to us through the discoveries of the last century. We shall not be converted to the promise of the future by more knowledge, but rather by an increase of loving wisdom and reverence, for life, for the earth and for one another."

Michael Medved on his radio show on Thursday pointed out that the Humanist Manifestos were communist documents. The guest was attempting to get the military to accept athiest chaplins. The guest was a member of the American Humanist Association.

Back in the late '70s there was a major push for Humanism when the New Age movement was about to emerge on a large scale. Is that what we are seeing again?

Of course, the Elton John and "partner" always bothered me, but that had been explained on the guest list that he was invited because of the memorial song he had composed for Princess Diana's funeral.

Another New Age buzzword that has New Agerers in a buzz.
Nonduality. I came across it again today at a website where they were excusing what Alice Bailey wrote about Jews.
    http://www.nonduality.com/alice.htm

This led me to news of one of their major conferences coming up in October.

    http://www.scienceandnonduality.com/speakers.shtml

Look at the powerful list of speakers. This is not some flaky conference that pulls "money out of the pockets of the gullible." Realize the power that each of these speakers has in their own sphere of influence. This is New Age in action.

I looked at other links on the topic, but these two should get any interested researcher going.

I posted information on nonduality on the blog several times. You can find the information by putting "nonduality Cumbey" in a search.

Why so many people looking for information on the New Age movement would be distracted by the Fairley information with its ugliness toward Catholics and Jews when information is heavily available about nonduality which is really what New Age is about is beyond me.

What is nonduality? They keep it pretty broad.
http://www.nonduality.com/whatis.htm Here it gives over 100 ideas.

To me the bottom line is everything is one, the seen and the unseen, God and you,
that community and your community. Humorously put by me, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly are all one. However, they fancy it up. Find your own understanding of what they are talking about before the salesmen con you out of your religion and country.

My favorite singer had just got done performing and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith was the first judge up to give his critique. As a long-term royalty watcher, I'm not sure how William and Kate's wedding can really be seen as "Christian." They have dated for eight years, and for part of that time, shared a house together with some fellow students at St. Andrews' University. They dated for 8 years, and before their engagement, they were known to spend weekends together and vacation together. And yes, as Dorothy says, they lived together before their wedding. Kate was confirmed into the Anglican Church a few short weeks before her wedding.

I think I'm a true fan of the British monarchy, and it would be my heart's desire to see them as a truly Christian royal family - but I'm highly doubtful if William or Kate (or the vast majority of young people in Britain, even the ones who for whatever reason still occasionally the Anglican Church)have a true Christian faith.

I too noticed the "Spirit of Jesus Christ" at the end of the prayer, which contrasts with "in the name of Jesus Christ." You can read it as an innocent rewording, and maybe it was, but I think it is significant. The Bible tells us to pray in the name of Jesus, not in the spirit of Jesus, because the name and the Word have power. So does the Holy Spirit, of course, but only when we acknowledge the name of Christ.

I also noticed New Age overtones in the homily right away. The homily was in the style that seems to be characteristic of the Anglican and United churches - poetic but light on theology.

I don't mean to be a total pessimist, but William grew up influenced by Charles, whose New Age leanings are well-documented, and Diana, who continually consulted psychics and tried New Age therapies. I think there is a kernel of faith left in the royal family - I think the Queen may be a true Christian, and at least most of the ritual in the ceremony was Christian...but it's mostly tradition devoid of the Holy Spirit. And without the Holy Spirit, it's easy for Satan to take over the church...

    Constance, Pete and others,

Please pray for me. I sometimes post comments here from time to time. But I need to post anonymously due to my position at church.

Our lead elder at church preached an offering message quoting from the Royal Wedding. He quoted Chartres:

"A spiritual life grows as love finds its centre beyond ourselves. Faithful and committed relationships offer a door into the mystery of spiritual life in which we discover this; the more we give of self, the richer we become in soul; the more we go beyond ourselves in love, the more we become our true selves and our spiritual beauty is more fully revealed. In marriage we are seeking to bring one another into fuller life.

I was very disturbed by his words this morning. I did not watch the Royal wedding. However, now that I am reading the rest of his statements and the quote here regarding "life spiritually evolving" I am overwhelmed.

What is happening spiritually at our church is devastating. I am praying about my next steps.

    Please pray for me.

    Thank you all.

Regarding Osama B.L.'s death, there is one angle I would mention that probably won't get a lot of treatment in the major media.

Several analysts have written in the past about the "Nuclear Armageddon" that is waiting for America. That is, the possibility of nukes going off in America, most likely one or more cities, exists, and is a real threat.

I think it was Vladimir Bukovsky who said, in an interview with Jeff Nyquist, that if nukes ever went off on American soil, it would be made to look like Islamic radicals did it, when in reality it would have been Russian Spetsnaz who orchestrated it. Sneaking a nuke into a country like America and then placing it and maintaining it in place over time is not a trivial task, and only highly-skilled special forces could pull it off. I suppose Islamic radicals could then be trained to take over once they are in place, but does anyone really believe that if Russian Spetsnaz troops got them in and put them in place and got them ready to detonate, they would give the triggers and control completely over to anyone else? I don't, especially when considering that the "Great Game" of Russia vs. the US (or "East vs. West") is still active.

Regardless of who presses the triggers, I think the likelihood for one or more nukes going off on our soil has just gone up substantially.

I don't find #1 and #2 very suspicious, but #3 I wondered about right away. Where did all those people come from, some of them dressed in Uncle Sam suits and everything? I think that probably your suggestion is correct: the President wanted to make it look like his decision was very popular with the people, and that he would get a good bump in the polls from the "obvious" support, so he tweeted and called and rounded up a bunch of people to be ready when the announcement was made.

The body / burial at sea - nobody wanted to have his body available to the Islamic world from which they could make a shrine. Plus, it's a "nice" way of just disposing of the body, so to speak. Like a subdued insult perhaps?

In my own opinion, I think that all that intel work finally paid off, and they came to Obama and said "we got him!" and Obama was reluctant to do anything about it until they told him "Clinton had him as well, and let him go... do you want your legacy to be like his?" After getting over the shock of knowing that the "torture" at Guantanamo actually worked, and being repulsed by the idea that he might go into the history books looking like Clinton II, he reluctantly agreed to the operation.

Or, maybe for the first time in his presidency, he made a correct decision.

Me too, me too, I loved the wedding. It was so specifically Christian, and I noticed that Will and Kate and many whose faces were shown in the congregation were paying attention to the Christian admonitions, not just "surviving" them. Even Kate's brother James, who is usually ridiculed in the tabloids, was dignified and gracious in his Bible reading. The Middletons, all of them,
were dignified and serious, even when on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. All so appropriate to a nation suffering from unemployment and hard times.

Yes, I know the Archbishop of Canterbury is fuzzy around the edges of his theology, but he managed to keep it to himself and just read the words of the C of E
wedding ceremony in a manner which seemed sincere.

The selection by the couple of a motet written by one of their neighbors in Anglesey, to be sung by the choir, showed that they have appreciation of the best in liturgical music. What a find, that motet.

As they say, if you want to know what the right is doing, ask the left. If you want to know what the left is doing, ask the right.

Alternet is a very leftist website. Almost all of the stories are filled with name calling propaganda. They did have a rather interesting story about the right.

  59. Speaking of Left and Right, there is a convergence of sorts when you consider far-left and far-right rhetoric:

    1. Anti-Americanism (or more specifically, anti-"American government" as it currently exists)

    2. Calls for "revolution" or radical change from the status quo

This is more than a small concern, in my opinion. An example of a far-right person whose *practical* goals (even if intent is different) end up being the same as the goals of the far left (and, not-coincidentally IMO, the goals of external groups and even nations who would see us destroyed) would be Alex Jones. Ever notice how often he quotes from Russia Today? RT is the propaganda outlet of the FSB/KGB in Russia, and can be just as anti-American in some of its stories as Al-Jazeera.

I don't mean to be detracting from other New Age studies here, but Russian goals are, I believe, going to play a role in near-future events.

The New Agers are getting VERY excited! Seems like they really are going to put on a show (as in 'A Planned Deception')for 2012. I say this after watching the latest in a series of You Tube videos from a chap who calls himself Rysa5 - they've been coming out for a few years now and are well produced, not just the meanderings of one man.

They are becoming ever more pointed, hypnotic - and dark, as in Barbara Marx Hubbard kind of dark - he's talking about necessary deaths now, of women and children.

Snatam Kaur (NB the anagram)is another elite New Age chanteuse that I find so sinister.

Thank God I am a Christian! Because I did toy with New Age beliefs for a while, but was delivered from them.

    Re: The bitcoin controversy.

    Who is John Galt?

I can't help but see the issue of alternative currencies as an element in what is being referred to by certain parties as "Going John Galt" or "Going Galt."

John Galt is the mysterious character in the novel ATLAS SHRUGGED by Ayn Rand.

This novel has been made into a movie and Part 1 was released just this past April 15.

The story of the making of this movie could itself provide material for a chapter of Rand's novel.

One of the interesting characters in the novel is a banker named Michael "Midas" Mulligan.

Michael "Midas" Mulligan, in Ayn Rand's novel Atlas Shrugged, was a banker, operating originally in Chicago, Illinois but subsequently in the community known variously as Mulligan's Valley and Galt's Gulch.

He joined the strike of the men of the mind called by John Galt after he lost a loan-discrimination lawsuit brought by a loan applicant whose application he had denied.

Remarkably, the novel provides ample background to Michael Mulligan in comparison to other characters. A banker by trade, Michael Mulligan actually had his name changed legally to "Midas" after his critics tagged him with that reference to the (perhaps) mythical King Midas. He developed a reputation for profiting after taking tremendous business risks, and some suggested that he was gambling. He replied thus:

“ The reason why you will never become rich is that you actually think that what I am doing is gambling. ”

Midas Mulligan did not gamble. He assessed risk, and did so using methods that were both more sensitive and more specific than those that his competitors used.

But the actual reason why his reputation suffered was not his "high-risk" methods, but rather the risks that he did not take. Specifically, he regarded banking as a business, and ran his bank like one. His critics seemed to prefer that he run his bank as a charity, or at least to make certain loans pro bono, ( like the now-failed ShoreBank Chicago ) just as and for the same reason that lawyers often argue cases pro bono.

Midas rejected such a policy as irresponsible. A banker does not own all of the money at his disposal at any given time; he owes an obligation to his depositors, as well as to any stockholders and partners he might have. A banker borrows short (by accepting money on deposit, money that a depositor may in theory withdraw on demand) and lends long (by making loans that are not always subject to instant recall and typically are made for a specified term). Such activity entails inherent risk, and this is why bankers typically require more interest (literally, a rent for money) than they pay to their depositors. Sadly, in the novel as is so often the case in real life, Midas Mulligan's critics never understood these realities, and continued to portray him as a mean-spirited, heartless money miser

    Ahmadinejad allies charged with sorcery

Close allies of Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, have been accused of using supernatural powers to further his policies amid an increasingly bitter power struggle between him and the country's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Several people said to be close to the president and his chief of staff, Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei, have been arrested in recent days and charged with being "magicians" and invoking djinns (spirits).

Ayandeh, an Iranian news website, described one of the arrested men, Abbas Ghaffari, as "a man with special skills in metaphysics and connections with the unknown worlds".

The arrests come amid a growing rift between Ahmadinejad and Khamenei which has prompted several MPs to call for the president to be impeached....

...Khamenei's supporters believe that the top-level confrontation stems from the increasing influence of Mashaei, an opponent of greater involvement of clerics in politics, who is being groomed by Ahmadinejad as a possible successor.

But the feud has taken a metaphysical turn following the release of an Iranian documentary alleging the imminent return of the Hidden Imam Mahdi – the revered saviour of Shia Islam, whose reappearance is anticipated by believers in a manner comparable to that with which Christian fundamentalists anticipate the second coming of Jesus.

Conservative clerics, who say that the Mahdi's return cannot be predicted, have accused a "deviant current" within the president's inner circle, including Mashaei, of being responsible for the film.

Ahmadinejad's obsession with the hidden imam is well known. He often refers to him in his speeches and in 2009 said that he had documentary evidence that the US was trying to prevent Mahdi's return

  79. I've just finished posting a new article "Christ" in the New Age which illustrates (some of?) the various ways in which the word "Christ" is distorted:

    http://tinyurl.com/43hzk8k

First, I want to thank those who helped me (quite) a while back in trying to find exactly when New Agers state Jesus received His "title" of Christ. I have used some of those references. From there I've done more reading and found some starting -- at least to me -- conclusions. I've found more parallels to hyper-charismaticism in the "church" than I thought.

Referenced in the article is Hannah Newman's excellent The Rainbow Swastika of which I quote one of her original phrases.

I welcome any constructive criticism as I concede the possibility that I may have misinterpreted some of the info, even though I'm reasonably sure I've not.

There are so many new age/nazi connections to the current British royal family... Prince Philip (has Nazi connections) and said in an interview that he wants to come back (be reincarnated) as disease to wipe out certain aspects of humanity... Prince Charles and the Green Movement (we all know about him)... Princess Di's suspicious death and coverup...with pagan themes...

Not to mention Princess Di's Merovingian (sp?) connections through the Spencer (Stuart- grail bloodline)... Why do you people think that Holy Blood Holy Grail came out the year of or @ Prince William's birth? Not long after Diana's death.. all this "fiction" about The grail bloodline; i.e. The Da Vinci Code comes out paving the way for a "Jesus bloodline" ruler to take hold of Europe...

Wake up People... and investigate, connect the dots... check out Clinton Ortiz's website... listen to georgeann hughes (on the byteshow)and read about the Nephilim...put it together with other knowledge you've attained throughtout the years then perhaps you'll come to the same conclusion I've come to that Prince William has the "bloodline- through his mother" that will lead him in my eyes and many other people's eyes to eventually accept his destiny as anti-christ... I hope that I'm wrong... but anti-christ likes to opposite, parallel christ... Prince William will be 30 in 2012... the age christ began preaching... and if events (dec 21st 2012)hold true then he will be 33 in 2015...which could be the halfway point of the tribulation when antichrist turns and gains all of his power (perfect possession?)... just speculating...

This theory makes more sense to me than some older guy without the correct bloodline (which is of utmost importance in these generational bloodline families) becoming anti-christ... Just my thoughts...

I'm sorry for the all over the place writing... after reading so much on such a wide variety of topics that all seem to intertwine in a complex web... it's just hard sometimes for me to put thoughts the way I want them to sound, with conviction and cohernece.. God bless you all...
