UPDATE: YOU MUST, HOWEVER, BE 'SUPERHUMAN'!
"Perks" include your personal EU standing army!
It seems nobody wants to be Foreign Minister of the European Union with its enhanced budget, power, and huge diplomatic and military retinues. I rather suspect Javier Solana is far too much of a European patriot to let the post go vacant or to somebody inexperienced. If you are interested in applying for the job, read all about it by clicking here. Otherwise, I am suspecting that with proper pay, power boosts, guarantees, executive perks, etc., etc., the present place holder MIGHT be persuaded to take/keep the job.
Update your resume -- there just might be opportunity lurking in Brussels. Maybe Cristina Gallach might want to apply in case her boss really is serious about retiring or becoming an Acciona consultant.
Stay tuned!

From Egmont Institute on EU Grand Strategy:
ReplyDelete"The Neighbourhood
The ESS is the most specific about the EU’s neighbourhood: “Our task is to
promote a ring of well governed countries to the East of the European Union
and on the borders of the Mediterranean with whom we can enjoy close and
cooperative relations”. In this region the EU is most clearly trying to bring its
holistic approach into practice and for it the EU has defined the most elaborate
sub-strategies: the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership (EMP), the European
Neighbourhood Policy (ENP), and more recently the Union for the Mediterranean
and the Eastern Partnership. Because of its proximity, it is the region where
arguably the EU has the most leverage, and where developments have the most
direct impact on the EU – “Even in an era of globalisation, geography is still
important”, the ESS rightly notes."

If Solana and Obama were in the wings waiting to be put in place, as I think might have happened, isn't it strange that the powers that be would have no one to step into Solana's place? Is their stable empty? Not likely.

VERY IMPORTANT ARTICLE at Haaretz.com
ReplyDeleteabout possible USA vetoing unilateral Palestinian declaration while Javier Solana has not ruled it out. Here is an excerpt. Story is one hour old:
" . . . 'U.S. senators visiting the Middle East, meanwhile, said that Washington would veto any
Palestinian declaration of statehood in the United Nations Security Council. They said it would go nowhere, and urged Arab states to stop it.
"It would be D.O.A. - dead on arrival," said Senator Ted Kaufman, a Democrat. "It's a waste of time."
In Brussels, however, the European Union's foreign policy and security chief, Javier Solana, appeared not to rule the idea out entirely, telling journalists that he would not "give any advice to the Palestinians today - they know what they have to do."
But he added, "The most important thing is to get negotiations relaunched."
In June, Solana proposed the UN should go ahead and recognize a Palestinian state based on the region's 1967 borders if the parties themselves were unable to make peace by a fixed deadline. . . ."

This little item is small potatoes (maybe) but two days ago the newspaper in my midwestern capital city had a story about how the local United Way is doing like all other United Way offices (of course they all march in lock-step) and is discouraging people from specifically designating a group to receive their donations. UW instead wants people to check the box that indicates money should be left to UW to dispence to groups that satisfy UW's GOALS. And their GOALS smack of government GOALS. The newspaper article showed a list of the organizations that were being funded. This morning that newspaper has an article about how the recent increase in taxes in the city are enabling our leaders to install cameras in certain neighborhoods to watch what people are doing. A woman is quoted in the article as urging the city to install the cameras and saying that ALL AREAS need such cameras. That woman is identified as heading up one of those UW-funded organizations. Coincidence? She gets funding. She pimps for the government.

ReplyDeleteSV - Many thanks for the encouraging words.
To Anonymous 3:51 -- THANKS for the information which by no means is "small potatoes."

In case anyone should want to compare their local United Way to others or to check out the GOALS of UW here is one:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.liveunitedcentralohio.org/
And at the one here at least one of the orgs that they fund is an org. for homosexual kids and adults. It's called Kaleidoscope and they have a meeting place in the area of Ohio State University. They are for kids ages 12 to 20 to get together with each other and with "interns" to help them. They are there for the curious and questioning also. The Board of UW has bigwigs from local businesses, labor unions, politics, etc. UW also funds something that trains homosexuals in leadership skills so that those homosexuals can get at the front of other organizations and efforts. I read all about it at their site. The Kaleidoscope meeting place last I checked, is across the street from the Wexner Center in the university district. That Center, put up by Les Wexner of The Limited Stores, Calcique, and a slew of other retail businesses specializes in avant garde artsy stuff and normalizes aberrent activities.
Dear SV,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words.
Since people like Solana don't just pop up out of a socio-political vacuum, I think Solana's background is very relevant to our discussions here and warrants investigation.

Just keep in mind that Sir Francis Bacon, who was the subject of a book by Nieves Mathews, wrote a book entitled THE NEW ATLANTIS.
Bacon's vision of Atlantis was one among many visions of "socialist utopia!"
The oldest known story of Atlantis is to be found in Plato's TIMAEUS AND CRITIAS.
The idea of socialism is said to have had its origins in Plato's REPUBLIC.

If someone has already posted this, I apologize ahead of time, but here is an example of why certain countries that have been reluctant to accept the Lisbon Treaty were correct in their belief that they would be surrendering their national sovereignty and law-making powers by accepting the treaty:
ReplyDeleteEUROPEAN COURT FINES ITALY FOR CLASSROOM DISPLAY OF THE CRUCIFIX
Symbols have a tremendous power to convey meaning, and the secularizing forces reigning in the European Union seem bent on eradicating all signs of the Christian civilization which once flourished in every one of its 27 member nations.
As the Lisbon Treaty tightens the noose around the necks of the nations of what was once Christian Europe, an appalling circumstance in Italy summarizes the shape of things to come. A report at Catholic.org (“Italy’s Bishops Irate over Crucifix Ban by European Court”) demonstrates what ‘tolerance’ and ‘diversity’ actually mean in practice: A ban on expression of a nation’s Christian heritage.
Italy's bishops are saying the European Court of Human Rights is guilty of a partial and ideological outlook with its Tuesday decision that crucifixes in public school are a violation of freedom.
The Vatican and the Italian government expressed dismay with Tuesday's decision and Italian bishops expressed their own perplexity.
The court ruled in favor of an Italian citizen of Finnish origin who complained in 2002 that the state school where her two children studied violated their freedom by displaying crucifixes.
The school's administration refused to remove them, contending that the crucifix is part of Italian cultural patrimony; Italian courts subsequently backed this claim.
Now, the Strasbourg-based European court has asked the Italian government to compensate the woman with €5,000 ($7,300).
Judge Nicola Lettieri, who defends Italy in Strasbourg, assured that the Italian government will appeal the decision.
As reported for The New American,”A law dating back to 1920 that requires a crucifix to be hung in every classroom upset Soile Lautsi, the Italian mother who filed the suit. Even though Italy reached an agreement with the Vatican in 1984 to stop considering Catholicism as the state religion, the crucifix law was never repealed. Lautsi could not accept the presence of a crucifix in every room because she wants her children to receive an absolutely secular education.”
cont.....
cont...
ReplyDeleteAlthough many Americans (and apparently some Finns) may find this concept hard to grasp, it is usually understood that when one moves to a new place, it means accepting — or at least tolerating — the culture that was in place before you got there. In point of fact, Lautsi is a Finnish woman married to an Italian; thus her lawsuit is against a nation in which she is a legal resident, but not a citizen. The idea that the presence of a few crucifixes was somehow going to turn her children into Christian seems absurd — and it sure hasn’t worked for Italians, a mere 15 percent of whom attend Mass weekly.
This is the character of the Internationalists’ war on Christendom. There is no expression of the faith so small that it will escape their gaze — and censure. Christians will be tolerated as long as they confine themselves to their sanctuaries and don’t make trouble for the new power at work in Europe.
The idolatry of power at the heart of the European Union allows no place within the formation of its new culture for those who worship the Holy Trinity. But to the extent that one could ever speak of a unified Europe in past ages, it was as a vibrant part of Christendom. Her history was inextricably bound up with the life and struggles and reforms of the Church. Now, the EU wants to pretend that Europe will simply begin today—an amalgam of peoples without history, culture or civilization; a tabula rasa for the architects of a new humanity to shape according to their own whims.
This is why they fear the cross of Christ: It is a touchstone to all that has been before. It confesses a faith which shaped the life of the continent across the generations. For all the turmoils and flaws which attended the centuries of Christian civilization in Europe, it enriched the lives of the people and offered them the hope of eternal life — citizenship in earthly kingdoms, but above all an enduring citizenship in a kingdom which is not of this world. The petty aims and schemes of a spiritually impoverished European Union cannot compete with that, and the EU elites know it. And their rage is as tragic, and futile, as that of Emperor Diocletian, who raged against the Church to no avail.

CRUCIFIX BANNED FROM ITALY'S SCHOOLS BY NEW EU COURT RULING
ReplyDelete.....Vatican spokesman the Rev. Federico Lombardi said the crucifix was a fundamental sign of the importance of religious values in Italian history and culture and was a symbol of unity and welcoming for all of humanity – not one of exclusion.
He said a European court had no right intervening in such a profoundly Italian matter and said "it seems as if the court wanted to ignore the role of Christianity in forming Europe's identity, which was and remains essential."
"Religion gives a precious contribution to the formation and moral growth of people, and it's an essential component in our civilization," he said in a statement. "It's wrong and myopic to try to exclude it from education."...read entire article....

ITALIAN MAYORS ORDER CRUCIFIXES PUT IN CLASSROOMS IN REVOLT AGAINST EUROPEAN COURT RULING
ReplyDeletePolish President and Greek Orthodox Church also hit out at decision against crucifixes in classrooms.
By Hilary White
ROME, November 17, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Poland's president, Lech Kaczynski and the leadership of the Greek Orthodox Church have both hit out at a decision by the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) attempting to ban the display of crucifixes in Italian public schools. At the same time, a general revolt against the ruling in municipalities all over Italy has been started by public officials, who are now ordering the display of crucifixes in schools, and levelling fines for non-compliance.
The November 3rd ECHR ruling, made in response to a complaint by an Italian secularist campaigner, said that the display of crucifixes violated the religious rights of pupils.
During Independence Day celebrations on Wednesday in Warsaw, Poland's Kaczynski said that "nobody in Poland will accept the message that you can't hang crosses in schools."
"One shouldn't count on that. Perhaps elsewhere, but never in Poland," Kaczynski said.
The reaction from Poland has touched a national nerve in a country where crucifixes and other religious symbols were banned under the atheistic communist rule and are now a prominent symbol of national sovereignty.
Lech Walesa, the former president and leader of the Solidarity movement that eventually freed Poland from its Soviet-controlled communist dictatorship, challenged the court ruling in a TV interview Thursday, saying, "We must respect minorities but also protect the rights of the majority."....read more...

One of the comments to the above article:
One of the few battles Hitler and the Nazis lost was in Bavaria regarding crucifixes in classrooms. From 1937 to at least 1941, the Nazis attempted to get crucifixes removed, and over and over again, the "lowly" Bavarians resisted, whether by not allowing their kids to attend Hitler Youth meetings, congregating around (menacing!) the principals' houses until someone gave up the keys so that the crosses could be replaced, harassing teachers who complied, etc. Although the Nazis blamed the Catholic Church hierarchy, most of these "protests" were local and spontaneous. Good for the Italians for standing up to this tyranny! Having lived in Bavaria for years, I cringe to see "political correctness" undo something that Hitler couldn't even prevail against.
Sorry for taking up so much space but I just had to post the story of this outrageous EU encroachment.

Anonymous 11:20. Your comment smacks of political correctness. No, I'm not proud, our framers included that clause in the Constitution for a reason, the most obvious being to prevent foreign interest from acquiring the highest office in our land. The constitution has been trodden underfoot and violated. Not a proud day for any American.
ReplyDeleteTo 11:20 AM, isn't the point that under US law one has to born in the USA to serve as US President? Why, therefore, would anyone be proud to have Obama as their President, when he not only got there illegally but also repeatedly, if it is true that he is Kenyan born, lied about his birth place and thus initial elegibility?
ReplyDeleteSurely, if he were a man of any real moral fortitude, such as Martin Luther King (who, incidentally, would have been Bobby Kennedy's running mate ((i.e., most probably the next U.S. Vice President and Probably then President)) and was most assuredly murdered by Obama's paymasters), then Obama would have been truthful about his background and campaigned for (here's the irony) change here. If the American people had democratically decided against this, then if he were a gentleman without a bone of the fascist usurper in his body he would have accepted this.
Sorry to patronise you but you really did ask for it.

Mexican Border City Calls for UN Peacekeepers
ReplyDeleteMexico’s business leaders are pleading for the United Nations to send peacekeepers to prevent the border city of Ciudad Juarez from falling into complete chaos. Locked in a deadly war with organized crime, the Mexican Army is unable to protect the safety of its citizens. Will El Paso’s sister city be the first domino to fall in a long line of Mexican cities that are teetering on the edge of lawlessness?
Could blue-helmeted soldiers soon be patrolling the U.S. border? For Americans, it may seem ridiculous to think that peacekeepers could be in action so close to home.
Yet if the two leading business groups in the city of Ciudad Juarez have their way, soldiers from India, China or Germany could be billeted just footsteps from one of America’s largest border cities.
“This is a proposal … for international forces to come here to help out the domestic forces,” said Daniel Murguia, president of the Cuidad Juarez chapter of the National Chamber of Commerce, on November 12.
Murguia says the UN has previously intervened in countries that had “a lot fewer problems than we have.” More than 8,500 Mexican troops are currently working with local law enforcement to regain control of the streets. But despite some initial success, crime is now back to pre-deployment numbers.

NSA Is Giving Microsoft Some Help On Windows 7 Security
ReplyDeleteThe National Security Agency has been working with Microsoft Corp. to help improve security measures for its new Windows 7 operating system, a senior NSA official said on Tuesday.
The confirmation of the NSA's role, which began during the development of the software, is a sign of the agency's deepening involvement with the private sector when it comes to building defenses against cyberattacks.
"Working in partnership with Microsoft and (the Department of Defense), NSA leveraged our unique expertise and operational knowledge of system threats and vulnerabilities to enhance Microsoft's operating system security guide without constraining the user's ability to perform their everyday tasks," Richard Schaeffer, the NSA's Information Assurance Director, told the Senate Judiciary Committee in a statement prepared for a hearing held this morning in Washington. "All this was done in coordination with the product release, not months or years later in the product cycle."

ReplyDeleteItaly's Foreign Minister says post-Lisbon EU needs a European Army
ReplyDeleteItaly is to push for the creation of a European Army after the "new Europe" takes shape at this week's crucial EU summit following the adoption of the Lisbon Treaty.
Franco Frattini, the Italian Foreign Minister, said that the Lisbon Treaty had established "that if some countries want to enter into reinforced co-operation between themselves they can do so". This was already the case with the euro and the Schengen accords on frontier-free travel, and could now be applied to "common European defence".
In an interview with The Times at his office in the monumental marble-halled Foreign Ministry on the banks of the Tiber, Mr Frattini said: "We have finally concluded a never-ending story". The Lisbon Treaty, which comes into force in December, will be sealed on Thursday with an EU summit to choose an EU President and Foreign Minister.
He warned that "if we do not find a common foreign policy, there is the risk that Europe will become irrelevant. We will be bypassed by the G2 of America and China, which is to say the Pacific axis, and the Atlantic axis will be forgotten. We need political will and commitment, otherwise the people of Europe will be disillusioned and disappointed. People expect a great deal of us. After Lisbon we have no more alibis".

ReplyDeleteJERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel triggered a fresh rift with Washington over settlement building on Tuesday by approving the building of 900 homes for Jews on West Bank land it occupied in a 1967 war and annexed to its Jerusalem municipality.
The Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth said U.S. President Barack Obama's envoy, George Mitchell, had asked an aide to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, at a meeting in London on Monday, to block the proposed construction at the settlement of Gilo.
But a government planning commission approved the addition of 900 housing units at Gilo, where 40,000 Israelis already live.
The Israeli decision drew an unusually sharply worded rebuke from the White House, which said it was "dismayed" and accused Israel of undermining Obama's efforts to resume peace talks with Palestinians stalled since December.

Feds Mull Rules, Fees to Spur Net Access
ReplyDeleteWASHINGTON -- Federal regulators are considering whether the government should take greater control of the Internet and ask consumers to pay higher phone charges in order to provide all Americans with cheaper access to broadband Internet service.
The Federal Communications Commission Wednesday will lay out the case for expanding broadband Internet service, outlining current obstacles to making it widely available. The agency is considering whether to force Internet providers to share their networks with rivals and raise fees charged on consumer phone bills to pay for the broader access

ReplyDeleteScandalous Intolerance in District 113 11/16/2009
By Laurie Higgins, Director of IFI's DSA -Illinois Family Institute
If you ever disputed what was happening in a school district I'm sure you wondered what they were saying behind your back. Laurie Higgins worked in the District but at the same time took a stand against some of the curriculum. She used the Freedom of Information Act to get that information. What she found was shocking. Please read the article.
In the article she mentions "critical race theory" and "critical social theory." I didn't know what they were, so I did some checking. Here's a quick path to understanding.
http://tinyurl.com/yfsljox Book title: Tinkering Toward Utopia
"Reforming the public schools has long been a favorite way of improving not just education but society."
Critical race theory and critical social theory are ideas that came out of the Frankfurt School of thinking in Germany during the 1930s, which was influenced by Marxism. They are being used by the educational establishment. Reform rests on the idea that something has to be changed because it is wrong. This means the old ways of thinking cannot be incorporated into the new way of thinking and have to be left behind. Critical theory is used as a way to convince educators that they have the answers to bring about a perfected society, to bring students to a way of thinking acceptable to New Age ideas.

"wanted to better understand how such pedagogies impacted my students, many of whom were white, middle class, Christian, heterosexual identifying teens. I also wanted to explore in what ways the use of these pedagogies with students of situated privilege could inspire social change.
"Homophobia in Public Schools Homophobia, the fear or hatred of anyone perceived to be gay, and heterosexism, which establishes a heterosexual norm and stigmatizes all other behavior as deviant, abnormal, or wrong, are a huge problem in American schools (Koskiw, 2004; Unks, 2003). According to critical theorist Gerald Unks (2003), "High schools may be the most homophobic institutions in American society, and woe be to anyone who would challenge the heterosexist premises on which they operate" (p. 323). GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian, Straight, Education Network's comprehensive survey in 2003 of 887 lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender youth reveals the magnitude of heterosexism and homophobia in schools. For example, 84% of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) students say they are verbally harassed due to their sexual orientation; 91.5% say they hear homophobic remarks like "dyke," "faggot," and "that's so gay" frequently or often; and 82.9% of LGBT students report that faculty or staff who were there when these homophobic remarks were made never intervened or intervened only some of the time (Kosciw, 2004). Non-intervention is a form of collusion and sends powerful heterosexist messages.
"it is approached through the lens of critical pedagogy" (p. 108). In my Contemporary Issues class, I used a critical multicultural pedagogy that emphasized critical literacy strategies where we paid close attention to the power of language and explicitly addressed social inequalities such as racism and heterosexism. Through critical literacy, students and teachers together learn to both read and write the word as well as the ideologically constructed world within which it is used (Freire, 2000; Christensen, 1999). Literacy is used to question and challenge the underlying ideologies of texts, discourses, and everyday life, which are often taken for granted and thus appear normal or natural, even when they are oppressive. A central goal of critical literacy is to empower students to address these injustices which they read in the world and to take action. With its aim towards social justice, it is overtly political.
"Critical Multicultural Pedagogy Critical multicultural pedagogy is informed by multicultural education and critical pedagogy. The National Association of Multicultural Education includes in their definition of multicultural education:
It prepares all students to work actively toward structural equality in organizations and institutions by providing the knowledge, dispositions, and skills for the redistribution of power and income among diverse groups. Thus, school curriculum must directly address issues of racism, sexism, classism, linguicism, ablism, ageism, heterosexism, religious intolerance, and xenophobia (NAME 2003). ..."

ReplyDeleteHow does this lead to arrogance displayed by the educators in the Illinois Family article? If one puts on blinders and assumes only the "new" is of value, and the old is deficient without understanding it, frustration with those who refuse to change can result in arrogant behavior. It's how supporters of "new" ideas can become as ugly as Klan people, antisemites, or any other rigid group of believers. Also, those promoting "new" ideas in such disrespectful ways can promote a backlash in kind against themselves. Then it's not a matter of who is right or wrong; it's who has the power at any given time.
Conservative author Jonah Goldberg criticized the Frankfurt School for systematically rejecting theoretical alternatives:
“ Borrowing from Freud and Jung, the Frankfurt School describes Nazism and Fascism as forms of mass psychosis. That was plausible enough, but their analysis also held that since Marxism was objectively superior to its alternatives, the masses, the bourgeoisie, and anyone else who disagreed with them had to be, quite literally, mad.[10] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankfurt_School
From the book Liberal Fascism by Goldberg
When we argue with liberals/leftists/progressives, we aren't arguing ideas. We are arguing with people who feel they don't need to understand our ideas because they think we are just nuts. It's why they act so contemptuous of us. They are teaching our children to act that way. Explains a lot.

Tell me Rob - do you suffer much from nose bleeds with your nose so high up in the air?
Actually, those of us who believe that the the New World Order put their 'puppet' Obama in as President in a rigged election feel that WE did NOT "ask for it."
We can no more control the NWO over here, than you can control your European Union over there!!!
2:43 PM"
Interesting how you have manipulated and deliberately taken my point completely out of context here.
It should be noted that I was referring specifically to the comment made by 'anonymous at 11:20 AM', I suspect you are that very same blogger are you not? And speaking of noses, it seems yours has been put out of joint somewhat!
Are you using the royal 'we' here? (WE did NOT "ask for it.") Strange, how one minute you seem all for the NWO and now you're ardently opposed to it in order to stike a point. I shall not TRY to patronise you here, and at least afford you some intelligence. I was actually defending the American people, there should be no 'we' used as the person I was 'sorry to patronise' was only the blogger who posted anonymously, no doubt yourself, at 11:20 AM.
The 'it' that you, anon. at 11:20, ALONE asked for, WAS my 'patronisingly' pointing out the facts as to why Obama should not be President if he was not born in the U.S., as much evidence at least indicates (see my response).
This is your initial posting below. (I beleive it's you, isn't it?!!) Strange choice of words you choose to employ for someone so strongly opposed to the NWO!

P.S., I beleive elections are rigged anyway nowadays, even if that is only done indirectly through mass hypnosis, so there is NO WAY I would ever imply or express that the American people 'asked' to be bamboozled by either Bush or Obama!
Dorothy,
ReplyDeleteGreat article and your analysis was spot on! How new ideas can quickly lead to intolerence and hatred is something we all must understand. Learning how to objectively combat this transition is something we all must quickly adapt to. This past US election should serve as a show case of how ideas can quickly turn normally rational people into drones who care for little outside their cause. Most saw how Obama supporters, even when faced with hard evidence of his lies, feverishly defended every single nuance of him. Your post does a great job of showing why this happened, and also gives a blueprint on how to handle some one with these "new" ideas. Great job!
Should've written, 'believe', but that's o.k.

Susanna,
ReplyDeleteThanks, however I don't believe the problem to be revealing the bigger picture at this point. I think Constance's work alone was enough to show the picture. I believe the issue is now getting people to take off the blinders that they voluntarily put on everyday. I do believe many have been deceived into believing a lie, however many have proven it to be a lie, yet few will accept that the comfortable world they live in is just that. No matter how much evidence stacks up, it is easier for them to be comfortable and believe the lie, than to fight for their physical, mental, and spiritual freedom.
I have quit hoping for a large group to become aware of what is going on, and stand to fight. My hope has become that what we expose may reach one person and keep them from deception. Scripture tells us the vast majority will believe the lie, if possible even the very elect. So we should know that if this is the appointed time, the masses are out of our reach. (not to say we can't try) However, one person at a time is possible, and if that is all I can do, thats good enough for me.

He also edited the books of murdered Russian dissident Alexander Litvinenko.

As a finn and a christian i am deeply ashamed of this finnish born woman managing to get a ban of crusifixes in italian schools from so called "European Court of Human Rights". She is basicly a guest in their culture. She calls herself an atheist.
ReplyDeleteBtw we have also had those busses here in Finland that have words written: "There's probably No God so enjoy your life and stop worrying". If i recall correctly the association that organized it call them selves "free thinkers". And apparently now they also want to free us of christian God (only living God there is) and Jesus in particular? No doubt attacking buddhists or islamists like this would have been out of the question. That would have been considered untolerant and condemned widely. Here in so called "europe" we are practically hostages to muslims since there are so many of them here.
I was wondering in my mind does being an atheist really have to mean being opposed to God and christianity so platantly? Obviously it does. Few minutes after thinking this i stumbled into this quote from Isaac Newton (1643-1727):
"I have a fundamental belief in the Bible as the Word of God, written by men who were inspired. I study the Bible daily. Opposition to godliness is atheism in profession and idolatry in practice. Atheism is so senseless and odious to mankind that it never had many professors."
OK, sorry. Really thought by the way you'd began the conversation that you were from Moscow, Russia. I was not meaning to go off on a spiel.

Dear Jeremy,
ReplyDeleteI usually find that Atheist is just a convenient 'euphemistic' label for people that are more often than not anti-theists, people who want to shake their hand at God and say in their hearts 'there is no God' so that they can continue in their rebellion and sin. They hate anything that reminds them of God, whether Christian symbols, literature or Christians expressing free speech. If they were only atheist surely they wouldn't be so bothered about needing to stifle Christians and Christianity???
God bless you, or, as I think you say, Jumala teitä siunatkoon,

ReplyDeleteJD,
ReplyDeleteThe "picture" I was referring to was that of ongoing practical application. Unfortunately, many people don't take off the blinders until a house falls on them!
If we are in the midst of "the great apostasy," you are probably right about people preferring to remain in denial rather than to acknowledge truths that might run afoul of their precious "comfort zone" - physical AND/OR spiritual!
Given what you wrote, I would be interested to know if you have ever heard of Elie Wiesel?
Mr. Wiesel is a Holocaust survivor who wrote a book entitled NIGHT - a memoir that describes his experiences during the Holocaust and his imprisonment in several concentration camps.
The story begins with a narrative by a deeply pious Orthodox Jewish teenager named Eliezer about how Moshe the Beadle tried to warn the people in his village about Nazi atrocities that he had seen with his very own eyes:
...When the Hungarian government rules that Jews unable to prove their citizenship will be expelled, Moshe is crammed onto a cattle train and taken to Poland.
Somehow he manages to escape, miraculously saved by God, he believes, so that he might save the Jews of Sighet. He hurries back to the village to tell what he calls "the story of my own death."
“ There was no longer any joy in his eyes. He no longer sang. He no longer talked to me of God or the Kabbalah, but only of what he had seen. People refused not only to believe his stories, but even to listen to him. „
Moshe runs from one Jewish household to the next. "Jews, listen to me! It's all I ask of you. No money. No pity. Just listen to me!" The cattle train crossed the border into Poland, he tells them, where it was taken over by the Gestapo, the German secret police. The Jews were transferred to lorries and driven to the forest in Galicia, near Kolomaye, where they were forced to dig pits. When they had finished, each prisoner had to approach the hole, present his neck, and was shot. Babies were thrown into the air and used as targets by machine gunners. Moshe tells them about Malka, the young girl who took three days to die, and Tobias, the tailor who begged to be killed before his sons; and how he, Moshe, was shot in the leg and taken for dead. But the Jews of Sighet would not listen.
“ He's just trying to make us pity him. What an imagination he has! they said. Or even: Poor fellow. He's gone mad.
And as for Moshe, he wept.....

Susanna,
ReplyDeleteI had not heard of Wiesel, thanks for the sad yet relevant story from the past. Unfortunately I fear this may be our not too distant future. As even now many of us are warning of the hijacked trains, and the internment camps of our day, yet like Wiesel we get the same response from our current neighbors. I read a quote once and now can't remember the author which said: " History doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme."
Given all of the EU's latest deals, all I can think is: and he shall wax greatly to the east, and to the south.

I didn't know about cameras being put in every home but if that is the case, I am leaving the UK and will probably head for Asia or somewhere. They won't get away with that just yet though, but a little more conditioning down the line and they will.
In my opinion, there are many major answers where we went wrong.
There is the infiltration of the Illuminati, most prominently by Amschel Rothschild, who bankrupted England at the end of the Battle of Waterloo, and as a result took charge of the Bank of England and her Finances in general. Our Great Prime-minister Benjamin Disraeli warned several times about the real power behind the Throne and Govenment of the Crown and named that hidden hand as the Rothschild Family et al.
There has been a deliberate 'dumbing down' in education which has gathered speed since 1911. The quantity of knowledge has increased but the quality of it has diminished, especially at university graduate level!
The deliberate destruction of discipline in schools enforced by the PC brigade; the closure of churches, the forbidding of Christian assembly in Schools with prayer and song and communal worship before lessons has gone so as to be 'respectful' to other cultures. The teaching of evolutionary nonsense everywhere, the 'do as thou wilt' Satanic philosophy pervading society under the guise of an individual's democratic right, regardless of morals and moral and emotional consequences. The attack on the family, financially, socially, legally, educationally, and through the media.
In some senses, it seems as if people have forgotten the real and precious value of humanity wildly thinking in morality, not domesticated and asleep, unthinking and engaging in immorality. Unfortunately, the latter has taken over. Then there is the so called, 'well, if you've nothing to hide...' rubbish people come out with. What ever happened to personal privacy, and innocent until proven guilty?
People here still think that Orwell's 1984 is something that may happen in the future if we're not too careful. They don't realise that it has already happened, and is happening now, and in the US too! A mix 1984; Brave New World; and, A Clockwork Orange.
And, as we rightly suspect, it'll get worse, culminating in a false peace and the worship of the Antichrist, until our Lord Jesus Christ comes back and puts an end to all of this evil.
May God bless and protect all of us, peace be with you all,
Rob in London.
