Interestingly, when I first started speaking nationally on the New Age issues, I did a live telephone interview with an Arlington, Texas station. This was in 1982. Well, I do believe we may have slowed down the New Age Movement and "causing all rich and poor to receive a mark in their right hand or forehead" for upwards of 35 years -- they hoped for 1982 implementation.
My educated guess is that whomever they planned to trot out as "messiah" in 1982 is still around, much longer in the tooth, and unhappy ast the high level career delay. Many, many elements are now coming together that appear to have serious prophetic significance. Brexit, populism, Donald Trump, and ,many other factors are being used as excuses to quickly accelerate global change "by any means necessary." Javier Solana is demanding that any global governance restructuring give China much, much more power.
Things are coming together very quickly. The pressures on us will be ugly. I have been disturbed in the past year to learn that Brannon Howse, John McArthur, and Jimmy DeYoung all proclaimed that Christians could take the Mark of the Beast and still be be saved. I don't read Revelation 13 and Revelation 14 that way -- to the contrary, it was an act that could condemn us to everlasting destruction.
It appears that it is happening and it is happening now.
Watch and pray always! And this device must be resisted by us, regardless of societal pressures to succumb>

I am not a Roman Catholic and were you to have bothered to check the link you would have seen that. The apologetics are from a Protestant site (Church of England) taken from another Protestant site (Lutheran). You're not seriously suggesting that the C of E and Lutheran denominations are in fact Roman Catholic, are you Paul?

Paul, with regards to your comment to call no man father.
Firstly, let me state once more that I am not Roman Catholic. I do not agree with the infallibility of any Pope (although the words spoken by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of any mere mortal are indeed infallible!). Nor do I agree with the RC doctrine of transubstantiation, where the real presence of the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ is purported to be contained within the wafer during the Roman Catholic mass. Also, there are many things I don't agree with Roman Catholicism about. Yet when it comes to calling another man, who is an elder, father or even one's own biological dad, father, then I put it to you that your comment is both out of context and you have misunderstood what Jesus Christ was conveying when he stated (Matthew 23:9):
'And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.'
You do know the Holy Scriptures, when first written down, were not formatted in chapter and verse, don't you? We should always pay attention to context.
Do you appreciate hyperbole, Paul? Jesus Christ Himself used hyperbole at times, for example: Matthew 18:9 King James Version (KJV)
And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
A similar hyperbole was used by Paul when writing to the Galatians:
Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
Do you think that Jesus Christ really meant that such hyperbole should be applied always and in all circumstances where one is offended (due to sin) by one's eye?
The point Jesus Christ is making in Matthew 23 is that children emulate their fathers. Likewise, followers often blindly follow and emulate their leaders and their teachers. A rabbi is a teacher. Jesus also says in Matthew 23 to call no man Rabbi, yet in Matthew 28, Jesus commands the then eleven disciples:
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The point is, we are to obey the Commandments of God in all things. This does not mean, however, that God did not appoint men to take the role of Rabbi or teacher, or of a spiritual father. We are not to learn and emulate the commandments of men which are contrary to the spirit of Holy Scripture:
Matthew 15:9
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Yet there are those men whom god has appointed and anointed as elders. However, the Scribes and Pharisees, the subject of Matthew 23, had made the word of God of no effect due to their puffed up pride, hubris, hypocrisy and commandments of men, which is why we read in Matthew 23, where Jesus means that although those in authority should be respected, they should not be emulated because they themselves disobey God, and therefore are unfit to teach or be as spiritual fathers or leaders:Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

Jesus Christ furthers this point in Matthew 15:9 where he says:

Indeed, the Scribes and Pharisees ironically condemn themselves where they state:
Matthew 21:23
And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?
Yet in Matthew 28:18 Jesus Christ is clear as to where His Authority comes from.
Now, where men, whether they be members of the Roman Catholic clergy or others, such as Benny Hinn et al, behave in a likewise manner as those Scribes and Pharisees did, then of course it is wrong to call them father, teacher or leader. It is wrong to emulate them. However, where an elder is obedient in his works and words to Jesus Christ, then we should treat him as a spiritual teacher (a Rabbi), a leader, and a father. However, I am not claiming this in any way makes men our spiritual father to the same extent that God eternally and infinitely is:
1 Timothy 5:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;
2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.
3 Honour widows that are widows indeed.
In 1 Corinthians, Paul himself refers to the Corinthians of whom he has been entrusted by God to teach as His children, implying he is a spiritual father of theirs and showing they are also spiritually children of Paul's:
1 Corinthians 4:15
For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
2 Corinthians 6:13
Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.

Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.

In fact, we can even find Christian writers exposing the Jesuits, referring to their elders as father. For example:

The fact is, the Holy Writ is full of examples of mere men, who are elders obedient to God, being sanctioned by God to be called father because they are elders (yes, there are other things written in the Holy Bible too, I am using 'full' as hyperbole).

Paul, we should be as the Bereans and search the Holy Scriptures thoroughly to be sure of a matter. Do not add to, twist, nor take away from Holy Scripture. It is important to understand a matter's context.

I was specifically referring to the title Pope, which is basically "papa" or father. I mean he went from "Bishop of Rome" which should have been enough for any mortal man, to being Pope and Vicar of Christ and eventually infallible vicar of Christ on Earth.
Jesus taught the disciples that whoever would be first among you must be servant of all. At the Last Supper Jesus washed their feet.
Maybe I'm missing too much but I don't see how any of these Popes are serving anyone, when they have their great gatherings and everyone lines up to kiss his pope ring. Jesus chose to live an austere life and pointed out that the foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head. By contrast, the Pope is possibly the richest man on earth; sitting atop a mountain of gold, silver, art treasures, and real estate all over the planet.
The Vatican is the home of the Jesuits, who in turn are the real handlers of the Freemasons, and in fact they, if anyone, rule the world. Not the world to come, (like Jesus, who said "my kingdom is not of this world), but The World.
But your points are well taken by me and I have downloaded and intend to read the pamphlet regarding the Puseyites.
I don't take any pleasure in calling out the Vatican, but the institution is thoroughly corrupt. I'm still certain that there are probably millions of Roman Catholics who just don't see it for what it is, and has been for a long time: Scarlet and purple, bedecked in gold and silver, drunk with the blood of the martyrs. Remember the Inquisition !
And I'm not sure if I would describe those few verses that Jesus spoke which are hard to understand, as hyperbole. I think they may be examples of Aramaic euphemisms, but either way...they probably amount to the same thing. Like a lot of prophesy, it would be best if people just said I don't really understand it, instead of guessing what it means and then teaching others your guess.
My point in a nutshell is this: the Jesuits were formed by the Vatican for the simple purpose of wiping out, (and that means killing), all Protestants, which they called heretics. And, the Catholic church did everything in its power to KEEP people from reading the Bible, after Gutenbergh invented the printing press.
