GEOSS data, information and tools provide the basis for policy definitio...

Two important videos to view to understand the huge scope of this GLOBAL EARTH OBSERVATION SYSTEM OF SYSTEMS.   There is information on China's contributions in the first video here.  There are enormous resources on the internet to illustrate the size and scope of GEOSS.
Watch both and stay tuned!

.For fascinating insights into Javier Solana, watch this video. It was a talk he gave to a medical convention concerning organ transplants. Javier Solana reportedly donated a kidney to a family member. I would never fault him forthat. Nevertheless, this video is the Solana I have followed for the past 23 years (since 11-22-1995) -- when asked to describe him, I then and now told people as "appearance wise, if knowing nothing more about him, 'the safest man in the entire room -- the one you would want to entrust your children and valuables to in the event of a crisis. This video is important -- he shares much of the information that he gave in his Spanish language book Reinvindicacion de la Politica. The doctor conducting the interview was obviously totally entranced with Javier Solana. I recommend you watch this video very carefully and thoughtfully. If it disappears from internet view, I have saved it in high definition mp4 format.

To GrantNZ:

Thanks for the heads up on the RT(Russia Today) video. I would be inclined to dismiss it as Russian propaganda tit for tat for USA sanctions, but for the news that has come out of the EU including ones with comments by Solana that Russia, China, European Union, UK have set up a mechanism to bypass the USA sanctions against Iran. This was done to protect the former agreement that Trump cancelled on behalf of the USA. Federica Mogherini also announced the package deal. I have commented about it in past comment sections on recent blogs.

Below are just a few links I just now googled which will illustrate the seriousness of this subject. The USA left which so much loved Russia in the past has been working diligently, IMHO to try to incite a war with a Russia they now perceive as a right wing threat. Christians will very soon IMHO be portrayed as enemies of a liberal global order and as allies of Russia -- this might come to our soon disadvantage as these global moves.

Watch the Solana video I referenced very closely and pay attention to his claims about "thinking strategically." I think he has been doing this -- he claims most world leaders do not. I'm afraid I see his strategic hand in what appears to be happening now.

Seems to me that when anti-New Age Christians view global images of the earth they
immediately think of their anti-Christian New Age opponents' "New Age earth worshiping" theology.

Did Helena Blavatsky, the Mother of the New Age Movement, worship the earth?

In The Key to Theosophy, when discussing prayer, HPB presents her view of God:

ENQ. To whom, then, do you pray when you do so?
THEO. To “our Father in heaven” — in its esoteric meaning.
ENQ. Is that different from the one given to it in theology?
THEO. Entirely so. An Occultist or a Theosophist addresses his prayer to his Father which is in secret (read, and try to understand, Matthew vi, 6), not an extra-cosmic and therefore finite God; and that “Father” is in man himself.
ENQ. Then you make of man a God?
THEO. Please say “God” and not a God. In our sense, the inner man is the only God we can have cognizance of. And how can this be otherwise? Grant us our postulate that God is a universally diffused, infinite principle, and how can man alone escape from being soaked through by, and in, the Deity? We call our “Father in heaven” that deific essence of which we are cognizant within us, in our heart and spiritual consciousness, and which has nothing to do with the anthropomorphic conception we may form of it in our physical brain or its fancy: “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of [the absolute] God dwelleth in you?” Yet, let no man anthropomorphize that essence in us. Let no Theosophist, if he would hold to divine, not human truth, say that this “God in secret” listens to, or is distinct from, either finite man or the infinite essence—for all are one.

Theosophists and New Agers worship "the spirit of [the absolute] God," who dwelleth in them. All true New Agers believe they are the temple of God and they worship the spirit of God the Father who dwelleth in them. When we look inside ourselves we discover that we are Infinite Spirit and that it is in our inter-self that God, who is Infinite Spirit dwelleth.

Is The Kingdom Of God within You?

What did Jesus Christ mean when He told the Pharisees that the "kingdom of God is within you"?

Is the Kingdom of God something that exists only in the hearts and minds of believers?

Many people believe Jesus Christ taught that the Kingdom of God is something that exists only in the hearts and minds of believers. They base this on Luke 17:20-21, which says:

“Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, ‘The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.’”

The assumption that the Kingdom exists only in the hearts of believers is incorrect for several reasons. The Greek word entos, translated “within,” is better translated “in the midst of” (Vine’s Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words, “Within”). Several translations, including the Revised Standard Version, Jerusalem Bible and New English Bible, make this clear. Jesus Christ could not have been telling the Pharisees that God’s Kingdom was something that existed within their hearts or minds—after all, these were people who wanted to destroy Him (Matthew 12:14; Mark 3:6).

Actually, Christ was pointing out the paradox that the Pharisees did not have the spiritual discernment to recognize that the message of the Kingdom of God was at hand or being offered to them (Matthew 23:15-17). To punctuate this point, Jesus, who will be the King of Kings in that Kingdom, was referring to Himself when He said “the kingdom of God is among you” or “in your midst.” The spiritually blind Pharisees did not recognize Jesus as the divine Representative of that Kingdom.

Rather than telling the Pharisees that the Kingdom of God was something in their hearts, Jesus Christ warned them that they were so spiritually blind they couldn’t recognize the very personification of that Kingdom in Him!

There is NO basis in this passage for believing the Kingdom of God resides in one’s heart instead of being a literal world-ruling government.

“Globalist” DOESN'T Mean “Jew”

Liberal commentators try to equate all criticism of the international order with the anti-Semitism that motivated the synagogue murderer.

Seth Barron
EYE ON THE NEWS
October 29, 2018

The massacre of 11 worshippers during Sabbath services at a Pittsburgh synagogue on Saturday was indisputably an act of anti-Semitic terror, and the most savage attack against American Jewry in its history. The killer, Robert Bowers, made clear on social media his belief that Jews are in control of the United States and are intent on destroying it by importing millions of Muslim immigrants. “There is no #MAGA,” posted Bowers, “as long as there is a kike infestation.” Curiously, Bowers’s insect metaphor echoed Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan’s recent comment that he is not in fact an anti-Semite, but an “anti-termite.” Though Bowers and Farrakhan probably don’t agree on much else, anti-Semites have a long history of representing the Jewish people as vermin and as underminers of cultural and national supports.

Following the attack, however, many commenters on the Left rushed to blame it on President Trump, his supporters, and their political agenda, claiming that their pejorative use of the term “globalist”—supposedly a code word for “Jew” in the white-supremacist lexicon—makes them complicit in the Pittsburgh slaughter. (Bowers used “globalist” and “globalism” a lot, too.) In the Washington Post, Dana Milbank alleged that Trump has made America unsafe for Jews as a result of his “full-throated targeting of Jewish ‘globalists.’” In New York, Jonathan Chait argued that Trump has always agitated sub rosa against Jews, “lambast[ing] his enemies as ‘globalists,’ which, through its implication of extra-national loyalty, closely tracks the primary accusation made against Jews.” And comedian Sarah Silverman alerted her 12 million Twitter followers to the “Dogwhistle reminder that these words used by our openly Nationalist President are winks to the alt right: Soros = The Jews Globalist=dirty jew Nationalist = white Nationalist.”

These critics claim that Trump, along with Lou Dobbs and other conservative commentators, is more or less consciously referencing the 1903 forgery Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and similar propaganda that propounds worldwide, malevolent Jewish domination. According to this line of thought, critique of supranational institutions like the EU, NAFTA, and the United Nations is rooted in a corrupted ideology of racial nationalism that in its most powerful incarnation, produced the Holocaust.

But the fact that Bowers and a handful of like-minded lunatics are hypnotized by a fantasy of malevolent Jewish domination of the world monetary system DOESN'T mean that Trump’s critique of post-nationalist thinking is necessarily wrong. The two phenomena have NOTHING to do with each other, aside from the fact that they both use the word “globalist.” Globalism in its contemporary usage didn’t exist around 1900, when modern anti-Semitism was formulated. Empires ruled distant lands from imperial capitals, but outside of the halls of the World Esperanto Congress, the novels of John Buchan, and the dreams of the Second Communist International, there was no recognized international system of governance that imposed itself upon nation-states such as we have today, represented by manifold and overlapping hierarchies of rule-making bodies, multilateral trade agreements, and mutual-defense pacts.

Drawing a comparison between anti-Semitic slurs from Tsarist Russia or Henry Ford’s fervid ruminations, and today’s analysis of the postwar world order is facile in the extreme. At the recent Jewish Leadership Conference, held in New York the day after the killings in Pittsburgh, Yoram Hazony, an Israeli philosopher whose recent book The Virtue of Nationalism defends vigorously the traditional nation-state, responded in an interview to the argument that criticism of “globalism” is anti-Semitic. “The word ‘globalism,’” explained Hazony, “has been used for the last generation both in academic settings to describe a technical worldview that has nothing to do with Jews, and also in the public sphere to describe a broad political and intellectual vision that likewise has nothing to with Jews.” Hazony continued: “There are always going to be bigots and haters who are twisting words and using them in all sorts of strange ways. . . . So many terms that have clear and normal meanings—and ‘nationalism’ and ‘globalism’ are just a few of them—are being interpreted as though their principal valence is about race and bigotry, that you cease to be able to have an intelligent conversation about the central ideas.”

It is unsurprising that the Left has sought to tie the murderous hatred of Robert Bowers—who said explicitly that he thinks of President Trump as a “globalist” stooge of Jewish puppet-masters—to Trump’s agenda of promoting American interests above a nebulous vision of global progress, because the Left is committed to pursuing that latter vision at all costs. Its hatred of Trump and his millions of deplorable supporters is so intense, and at this point so beyond reason, that it pounces on a savage act of hatred as an opportunity to score political points.

Christians need to be aware of their history, and be cognizant of the anti-Judaism and anti-Semitism which is endemic to the Christian tradition and has been the legacy of Christianity for almost two thousand years.

The Orthodox Church and the Easter Catholic Churches honor John Chrysostom as a saint (feast day, November 13) and count him among the Three Holy Hierarchs (feast day, January 30). He is recognized by the Roman Catholic Church as a saint and a Doctor of the Church. Churches of the Western tradition, including the Roman Catholic Church, the Church of England, and the Lutheran church, commemorate him on September 13. In the 4th century he proclaimed in homilies that the Jews were responsible for the crucifixion of Jesus and decide and added that they continued to rejoice in Jesus’ death. He compared the synagogue to a pagan temple, representing it as the source of all vices and heresies. He described it as a place worse than a brothel and a drinking shop; it was a den of scoundrels, the repair of wild beasts, a temple of demons, and the cavern of devils, a criminal assembly of the assassins of Christ.

Martin Luther, a German theologian and religious reformer, initiated the Protestant Reformation. In his 1543 book, "On the Jews and their lies" (A precursor to Nazism) Luther took Jewish hatred to a new level when he proposed to set fire to their synagogues and schools, to take away their homes, forbad them to pray or teach, or even to utter God’s name. Luther wanted to "be rid of them" and requested that the government and ministers deal with the problem. He requested pastors and preachers to follow his example of issuing warnings against the Jews. He goes so far as to claim that "We are at fault in not slaying them" for avenging the death of Jesus Christ. Hitler’s Nazi government in the 1930s and 40s fit Luther’s desires to a tee.

Without the centuries of Christian oppression and contempt of Jews, Nazi ideology could not have taken hold nor could it have been carried out. Christian anti-Semitism ultimately played a dramatic role associated with the cause of World War II.

FROM NEW AGE TO ETERNITY: MY JOURNEY BACK TO CHRISTIANITY

By Eveline Maedel

The New Age movement is growing rapidly and gaining influence in our modern society. In his book, Searching Issues, popular theologian Nicky Gumbel quotes a survey that estimates that 25% of Americans are involved in some form of New Age practice. Many of those taking an interest in New Age are seeking deep, spiritual experiences and meaning in their lives. Even Christians, who have allowed their faith to dry up, can become victim to seeking to fill that spiritual vacuum elsewhere.

I know. I’ve been there.

It began more than ten years ago. Although raised, baptized, confirmed, and married in the church, I did not really know God. I knew of Him, but I didn’t really have a relationship with Him. With a deep desire to know something more than what I was getting out of my occasional Sunday attendance, I began to look elsewhere.

UNDERSTANDING THE NEW AGE MOVEMENT

New Age has been around for many years. It is an eclectic mix of practices involving Eastern mysticism, occult, meditation, humanism, nature religions, and various self-improvement techniques. On my quest, I read tarot cards, collected crystals, and studied Buddhism, meditation, visualization and Wicca.

New Age gains its appeal by emphasizing the importance of experience and spirituality. On the surface, who would question its apparent values of love, compassion, and unity? It promises utopia. New Age also seduces in its worship of self (God is within you) and its apparent freedom from guilt (there is no such thing as sin).

I didn’t realize it at the time, but the further I got into the New Age movement, the farther I got from God, whom I was desperately seeking. I was constantly moving from one practice to another, reading the latest book, seeking the latest “experience.”

We live in an instant culture. We want our answers now. “New Agers” often move from one technique to another, one guru to the next, seeking the next better spiritual high. Though the power found in many of these experiences is real, it is often short lived and fails to satisfy.

FINDING SPIRITUAL FULFILLMENT

There came a day when I simply could not read yet another New Age book. They all sounded the same and I was slowly realizing that none of this was filling me up. Spiritually, I was empty...

That video by RT on the so called de-dollarization is misleading at best and presented by people with no global trading or investment experience. These irrelevant moves to try to bypass the dollar will not lead to the collapse of the dollar. The dollar will eventually collapse and stop being the reserve currency, but not because of these moves on trade. In fact, the dollar will go to new all time highs before it collapses. The dollar strength is what will bring in a new global monetary system, not dollar weakness. As the dollar rises and interest rates, they will put pressure on dollar denominated debt worldwide, especially in Emerging Markets which have issued enormous amounts of debt in dollars. The rise of the dollar will bring about defaults in Sovereign debt worldwide, which in turn will bring on recessions and depressions.

Most of the leading Christian opponents of the New Age Movement believe and teach that
Oprah Winfrey is the leading New Age guru. And they also believe and teach that New Agers worship the earth and/or the universe... and that New Agers believe the earth and the universe are God and that their ultimate goal is to "become the earth" or to "become the universe." Most Leading Christian opponents of the New Age believe and teach that New Agers claim that they are the universe or that they are the earth. However, true New Agers believe and teach they are Spirit and that Spirit not only fills the entire universe, but transcends the universe and is infinite or boundless.

GEOSS - frankly this doesn't look like anything more than you get from google maps, google earth and bing maps and a bit less, and I think less quailty as you zoom in before their quality fades. But then, this is open to every individual to use, there might be better quality reserved for others. As far as monitoring people on the ground, the portal I used didn't come near that capability. Other programs already let you monitor shipping and air activity and the google street view though it blocks out addresses a lot and all license plates gives you a better picture, though for personal security reasons it will put you a few doors off and/or wrong side of the street when you are looking for a specific address.

the problem here seems to be to either unite them in one system, making it simpler for those to use who will be allowed to use them, and/or to create a MINDSET of unification of things and orientation therefore to anything that eliminates separateness of anything.

Physicist - no one said ITER and GOESS are linked as platforms, but that they have the same people behind them. that's the issue. what are they all up to? looking good for one thing. But very good point about existing monitoring systems. I agree, HOWEVER, the issue is that GOESS seems to want to have all the civilian and military surveillance systems contribute to or join with this central body.

Thomas,
You're wrong.
When a human being is born his spirit within him is dead.
It's the result of the willful disobedience of Adam and Eve. Believe it or not the Bible calls the one true god "God" and "The Lord"
and it calls the devil, Satan and "the "serpent". In other words the Bible speaks plainly and forthright and honestly, unlike your New Age hokum.
That's why Jesus said: "You must be born again". When a person comes to the true God in humble submission and asks Him for forgiveness, which every person on earth needs, that person's spirit is given life and light. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the father but by means of me."
Now Thomas I'm sure that you have your esoteric response to these biblical facts, but don't bother because we all know where you're coming from, as you've spelled it out here a million times, and no one here is buying what you're selling.
Oprah Winfrey may think she is pure spirit, but she's wrong just like you. That's right; she's a billionaire and she's wildly popular,
but she's dead wrong.
Your whole position, which you've repeated over and over again, is truly absurd: you want us to understand that there are right New Agers and wrong New Agers? Some believe they are the earth, etc and others, "True New Agers" like yourself, disagree.
Thomas you've built your house on sand. You've added wrong to wrong, and error to error.

Thomas Ivan Dahlheimer said...

Paul, the theme of the whole Bible has been proven by scientific discovery to be false, a lie. What you believe is totally absurd, or absolutely wrong. You are living in Biblical fantasy world. There are not "right New Agers" and "wrong New Agers". There are people who claim to be New Agers, but are not. New Agers do not worship the earth or the universe. Try to accept reality. Christians are so extremely delusional they can not even understand what the New Age is about, even when it is clearly explained to them.

Scientific Accuracies of the Bible

Many people doubt the Bible for various reasons. One of them is that the Bible is not accurate scientifically, but this just isn't so. The Bible is not a book about science, but when it does speak scientifically, it is accurate. In fact, it was far ahead of any other writing of its time. Please consider the following...

The Earth is suspended in nothing
"He spreads out the northern [skies] over empty space; he suspends the earth over nothing," (Job. 26:7, NIV).

This is particularly interesting, considering that the cosmology of other cultures at that time did not have the earth suspended in nothing, but rather upon pillars, or people, or animals.

The Stars are Innumerable

"He took him outside and said, 'Look up at the heavens and count the stars -- if indeed you can count them.' Then he said to him, 'So shall your offspring be,'" (Gen. 15:5, NIV).

The Existence of Valleys in the Seas

"The valleys of the sea were exposed and the foundations of the earth laid bare at the rebuke of the LORD, at the blast of breath from his nostrils," (2 Sam. 22:16, NIV).

The Existence of Springs and Fountains in the Seas

"In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, on the seventeenth day of the second month -- on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened," (Genesis 7:11, NIV). See also Gen. 8:2; Prov. 8:28.

The Existence of Water Paths (Ocean Currents) in the Seas

"O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! ... When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, ... You made him [man] ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet ... the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas," (Psalm 8:1,3,6,8, NIV).

The Hydrologic Cycle

"He wraps up the waters in his clouds, yet the clouds do not burst under their weight," (Job. 26:8, NIV). "He draws up the drops of water, which distill as rain to the streams; the clouds pour down their moisture and abundant showers fall on mankind," (Job 36:27-28, NIV)
"The wind blows to the south and turns to the north; round and round it goes, ever returning on its course. All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again" (Ecclesiastes 1:6-7, NIV).

The Concept of Entropy

"In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded," (Psalm 102:25-26, NIV).

The Nature of Health, Sanitation, and Sickness

The listing for this section is too large for this page, but the scriptural references are Leviticus 12-14.

The BIBLE – True Science or Superstition?

Here is the most amazing documentary PROOF the Bible is far more than what its critics claim! A Book ages ahead of its time!

Here is astounding evidence of the most incredible SCIENTIFIC kind
showing that the Bible is INDEED a Book of DIVINE INSPIRATION!
...
Notice how amazingly scientific the Bible really is!

Flat Earth Theory

Many people have erroneously believed that the Bible teaches the Earth is flat... But nowhere does the Bible teach the flat Earth theory, or that the Earth is a stationary object at the center of the universe. Galileo’s theories were declared heretical in the 17th century. But, amazingly enough, six hundred years before Christ, the prophet Isaiah was inspired by Almighty God to write and speak of the spherical shape of the planet Earth! Notice it! In Isaiah 40:22 we read of God, “It is He that sitteth upon the CIRCLE of the Earth.” Moffatt translates this verse more clearly: “He sits over the ROUND EARTH.” The Critical and Experimental Commentary states this expression is “applicable to the GLOBULAR form of the Earth.” The original Hebrew word is chuug and means a “compass, circle, or SPHERE.”

Well Thomas, congratulations you're a Progressive. When you can't prove your point because you don't know what you're talking about, simply attack the one's who point out your errors.
Thanks for the critique, but I'll stick with the Bible over your (lack of) understanding of science.

I read all the anonymous points of Christian Apologetics that followed your diatribe, and I think that they're all good and legit, but for me I'd simply ask myself how in the world was it that Moses knew that the entire universe began with a colossal burst of light? Who told Moses that electrons were the building blocks of the entire universe ?
Thomas there are PhD scientists all over the world who run the gamut of disciplines including Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry,
Biology and you name it, who believe in the veracity of the Holy Scriptures. They are indeed a minority, but there they are nonethelessless; Astrophysicists, Engineers, Architects, Medical Doctors like Ben Carson, the Bible Believer.
You talk about science as if you were a scientist, but you aren't, and you only know what you've gleaned for yourself, from Madame Blavatsky, who was also not a scientist, or even close to being one. Thanks but I'll listen to Isaac Newton and Gerald Schroeder, et al. Even Einstein had more sense than to denigrate the Lord. He actually said a number of things that indicated that he believed in the God of the Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Yes, the progressive New Ager Dahlheimer and his version of timeless provable "scientific truth" is the equivalent of (with the same lasting results as) trying to nail jello to a wall.

WE HEAL, WE GROW, WE ARE REBORN

This life is nothing short of an unveiling paradigm shift of spiritual joy!

To traverse the myth is to become one with it.

Only a visitor of the solar system may generate this evolution of wisdom.

It can be difficult to know where to begin. Although you may not realize it, you are technological. If you have never experienced this current on a cosmic scale, it can be difficult to vibrate.

Yes, it is possible to exterminate the things that can destroy us, but not without energy on our side. Suffering is born in the gap where consciousness has been excluded. Where there is dogma, freedom cannot thrive.

We are in the midst of a sensual ennobling of ecstasy that will let us access the universe itself. We are at a crossroads of curiosity and desire. Throughout history, humans have been interacting with the quantum cycle via ultra-sentient particles.

Indigo Child, look within and unify yourself!

The future will be an archetypal deepening of gratitude. It is a sign of things to come. It is in invocation that we are re-energized.

Have you found your quest? How should you navigate this unified dreamscape?

The nexus is calling to you via ultrasonic energy!

Can you hear it?

HOW OLD IS THE UNIVERSE?

This article gives us a new look into the age of the Earth and Universe controversy. Are evolutionists right? Is the Universe billions of years old? What proof do they have? What is the evidence? Is there evidence for a relatively YOUNG earth and Universe? You may well be surprised at the answers!
