The ETHICMark?? (ETHICMARK) of the WORLD BUSINESS ACADEMY -- CREEPY MARK FROM AN EVEN CREEPIER ORGANIZATION

Remember Gold Lake, the Institute of Noetic Sciences, and Paul N. Temple?  What activists on this blogspot forum could ever forget those items?!

Of what both "emerging church" and New Age / "Global Civil Society" people now call THE SHIFT we find the above pictured "THE MARK" which looks astonishingly like a combined swastika and sixes.

Here is a list of current fellows of the World Business Academy.  Many are old familiar names to us.  You may want to consider NOT BUYING from those displaying "the mark," after, of course, politely telling them while you do not wish to support THIS CAUSE.  Remember the good old days of "The Better Business Bureau"?  This is not exactly the same thing!

Well, "the mark" appears just in time to support the cause championed by Prince Charles in my immediately preceding blogspot posting.

Read carefully below and stay tuned!

Interesting. Looking over some of their material they complain about Neuromarketing, which certainly has been heavily used by varied folks who have similar view points. For example Jeremy Rifkin thinking and research is referenced within Neuromarketing commentary. Generally is the way of competing branches that seek to come out "on top." and be "the one" that is part and parcel to the elements around all of this.

Constance,
I take seriously every comment and post on your blog, but I don't always comment myself. This time I was particularly struck by the name of Michelle Mosser with Grace Communications. Perhaps it was because the name of the organization can be so deceptive to Christians. I was appalled at how many red flags the website itself was throwing out. I'm always concerned about how many people are duped by lack of knowledge--who have no idea WHICH words are red flags. Because I'm a teacher, I do my best to get out the word on these deceptive terms and philosophies. I really don't know why this stuck out so strongly, but it did. Thanks so much for the lists! Over the years, you have been a great source of help in learning about the deceptions among us. You and those who post here are very appreciated.

History of "the mark" which was funded by Hazel Henderson (a New Ager's New Ager and CLOSE, CLOSE friend of Barbara Marx Hubbard, David Spangler, and Jean Houston):

In 2004, Hazel Henderson founded the EthicMark® Award and the not-for-profit EthicMark® Institute with a start-up donation of $25,000 from a bequest from her aunt. She subsequently trademarked the EthicMark® emblem through an additional cost personal contribution of $25,000.
Hazel Henderson is the author of Ethical Markets: Growing the Green Economy, winner of the Bronze Award of the 2008 Axiom Business Books Awards; Beyond Globalization; and many other books. She is also the Founder and Producer of Ethical Markets Media, LLC and the creator and Executive Producer of the Ethical Markets television series, which reaches 49% of U.S. TV homes through PBS and is also available via webcast. The EthicMark® Award grew out of her work with Ethical Markets Media, LLC, when she decided to create the Award as an ongoing nonprofit activity unaffiliated with any for-profit company.
In 2006, the Institute granted the first EthicMark® Award to The Fund for Global Awakening and The Global Interchange in recognition of their Decade of the Heart all-media forgiveness campaign. The forgiveness campaign was part of the Messages: Awakening the Heart of Humanity media project, and took the slogan “Anger Takes Joy as its Prisoner” into print, television, billboard, and radio ad spots. The EthicMark® Institute selected the forgiveness campaign to set a clear and very high standard. All future awardees must meet this benchmark, which represents a central and indispensable characteristic of the EthicMark® brand.
In 2007, Academy Fellow Hazel Henderson transferred the EthicMark® to the World Business Academy to execute the Award program, which the Academy now does with the Award’s co-sponsors, University of Notre Dame Mendoza Business College, and Ethical Markets, LLC.

Hello Constance
I have just read the Herescope article by Gaylene Goodroad and think it is incredibly important for diserning Christians to read. We know that there are plenty of people who claim to be Christians, but are not, who are forwarding the Luciferian agenda.

There are also people who are genuine Christians, who wish to expose the agenda, but being honest and straightforward themselves, are taken in by some of it in the process. They really need to read this article.

I'm specifically thinking of Dr Stanley Monteith and will probably write to him personally about it, because I am one of his biggest fans and the quality of his guests is generally incredibly high. He was one of the key people, along with yourself, and a few others, who helped bring me back to Christ.

But there is one of his guests, Jonathan Gray, who is a complete fraud. I'm speaking as someone with a degree in ancient history and archaeology, but you don't have to have one of those to see it! A simple trip to his website will suffice. As a friend of Dr Stan's and his best guest, I wish you would briefly check and mention it to him, busy as I know you are. We all need to be lawyers like you, I think, when it comes to checking people's bona fides, but using a bible instead of another lawbook...

Given the buildup to 2012, the incredible investment the New Agers have put into their bogus phenomenon, do you not think that that something wil be 'arranged' to happen somewhere on or around that date? If our Lord allows it, that is.

Thank you for your magnificent work, which continues to inspire me.

(Hope this doesn't come over too muddly - I am ME/CFS challenged.

Apple joining Google, Amazon in the Cloud

Last week Apple Inc.’s Steve Jobs made news again, announcing the dawn of iCloud at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference. By outsourcing storage to remote servers, cloud computing eliminates the need to save data on a hard drive or other storage device and allows users to more easily share files with others across the internet. Imagine managing all your music, photos, and work documents from a single location; no more emailing yourself documents or using a thumb drive to relocate files. With iCloud, music lovers could access their music from any device that logs in with an Apple ID.

To be clear, Apple is not a pioneer here, but is positioning itself to join other major players such as Google, Amazon, and Rackspace in the information-storage race. Yet iCloud and other cloud computing services will change the way we use personal computers. Some of us have already been using a hybrid of storage solutions to conduct our day-to-day business. From time to time we’ll use a thumb drive, external hard drive, or an email account to shuttle files between destinations.

Cloud hosting has been utilized by businesses worldwide for close to a decade, but individual use is relatively new. While it’s a dream for storage hogs, skeptics warn that the technology makes one vulnerable to security risks. Are we ready to trust an online abyss with our cherished information?

If you are familiar with the James Webb books, you will see that the people with occult beliefs have a long history. Judaism goes back 6,000 years, Christianity 2,000 years. That doesn't mean that for the last 6,000 years or the last 2,000 years there have been two big groups each working toward political ends with everyone involved. Followers of the occult and pagan beliefs are human also. There are many different groups with many different ideas and goals.

The New Age movement is a specific group of people working together for political and cultural/spiritual ends. There is nothing vague about the movement. It has specific individuals and organizations working together. The problem has always been to identify them and show how they network to achieve their goals.

The New Age movement had a start and organizing period. You might find it fascinating to research the subject.

I've yet to find serious academic research tying several thousand years of occult beliefs into a continuous political thread all the way down to this day. I'm sure there have been people who have tried this, but the suppositions of one writer here and another there are not enough.

While there are many who find fulfillment in writing about mystery Babylon, I'm more in line with those fighting the New Age movement as it affects all of us NOW.

RT, I was talking with Rich just the other day. He has been busy helping his parents and working with an increased professional load. As you know, everything he writes he writes intensely. Everything is researched completely. It takes a great deal of effort to polish a piece as he does. He has been responding to a New Ager in his local paper, however.

I do think he plans to write something in the future.

Marko said...

Dorothy, you said:

"There are many different groups with many different ideas and goals."

Exactly! This is a critical truth to remember. And they are not always in cahoots with one another, either. Sometimes they are in direct opposition to one another.

The problem with any blog / research group / book / whatever is that the focus tends to be on one particular person, or group, or philosophy, or perhaps on related people and groups that are "friends" or otherwise networked, and some other threat that isn't part of that philosophy or network is ignored. Tunnel vision is very hard to overcome.

As I see it, there are two major threats to the existence of the West, and Western culture:

1. A spiritual threat of New Age / Post-Christian philosophies that are destructive of our current Western culture and heritage, and

2. A geopolitical threat vis-a-vis an alliance of nations (Russia, China, Iran, N. Korea, etc) that is growing stronger every day in every way, and has continuously stated, for several generations now, their intentions to destroy us. What I find astonishing is that we don't take them at their word, because we think we know them better than they know themselves. "All we need to do is give them Democracy and Prosperity and they will be like us." What arrogance. What stupidity.

And most of you know that I think the alliance of nations mentioned above is currently a much larger and more imminent threat than is any "revived" Roman empire based in Europe. The word "Euro-weenies" didn't just spring up out of nowhere, for no reason. NATO is falling apart, and the dream of a unified Europe is fading fast. I don't even think a crisis will revive it. It would take the decimation of the rest of the world's population in some kind of world war before Europe could rise to power again (assuming Europe would not be involved, which is a big assumption to swallow).

Somehow, though, at some point in time, there will be a push for a New World (after wars, disease, etc - the Four Riders of the Apocalypse - take their toll), and a leader will rise up and lead the way into this New World, out of the ashes of the Old World, and it will be the dominant thing on the world scene.

Van Impe ministry abandons TBN in clash over Islam

Network turned back episode that challenged leaders over 'apostasy'

A Christian ministry's decision to expose as "false teachers" several celebrity ministers it believes are corrupting biblical teachings has prompted a rift, with

Jack Van Impe Ministries dropping plans to work in the future with Trinity Broadcasting Network, where it has broadcast for more than two decades.

"I Will Not Be Silenced! I will not allow anyone to tell me what I can and cannot preach," Van Impe said in a statement when TBN would not allow his program to air.

"When I see heretical teaching leading to apostasy, I will speak out," he said.

The dispute arose over the issue of advocating for "Chrislam" and other efforts that are designed to find "common ground" between Christians and Muslims. TBN declined to air one of Van Impe's programs that contained sharp criticisms of leaders such as Rick Warren of "The Purpose Driven Life" fame and Robert Schuller.

"Van Impe explains that the Bible prophesies a one-world government and a one-world religion during the end times, and his concern focuses on the move among some Christian organizations to adopt some Islamic thought and incorporate elements of Islam into their worship."

According to the broadcast, "Chrislam is a term that may be used more often among apostate churches."

"This compromise is going to permeate Christianity," Van Impe said. "I'm calling for the old-time religion to be restored.

"God called me to preach. And I will not stand down for any man, for any church, for any Christian organization," he said.

The report noted that there are some Christian missionaries overseas who have "eliminated 91 verses in God's Holy Word because they wanted to please Islam and the Muslims."

Those references identify Jesus as the Son of God.

Other developments include moves by some Christian churches to remove clear Christian emblems such as crosses.

Criticized on the program were recommendations attributed to Warren that churches change music to a contemporary rock style, eliminate hymnbooks and the choir, eliminate the Sunday evening or Wednesday prayer services, remove the word "church" and refer to it as a "campus," and reduce the use of the words "unsaved," "lost," "hell" and "heaven."

"Even more chilling is the fact that over 300 prominent Christian leaders signed a letter issued by the Yale Center for Faith and Culture claiming that world peace is dependent on Muslims and Christians recognizing 'Allah' and 'Yahweh' as the same God. This letter, titled 'Loving God and Neighbor Together,' was written in response to a signed document by 138 Muslim leaders titled 'A Common Word Between Us and You.' McLaren, Warren, Robert Schuller and Bill Hybels were just several of the signatories to this outright betrayal of Christ!" he said.

TBN previously had a conflict over its intolerance for criticism of Islam. It was in 2006 when Hal Lindsey, WND columnist and one of the world's most popular non-fiction authors, clashed with the network because TBN wanted him to soften his views on Muslims. Lindsey refused.

Is there anyone out there who can help me with analyzing information about the Hunger Games books which were just called to my attention. Knowledge about the book Ecotopia by Callenbach which can out in 1975 would be helpful. I can dig up the links on my own, and I need more than someone telling me that something is bad. That I know. I want to write up something about the gladiator theme and the New Age connection.

Copper must be more in demand than gold these days!

Supposedly the real unemployment rate in the U.S. is 22%. Desperate people will do desperate things.

Oh wait, there isn't a structural problem in the economy. Those with no income are just workshy freeloaders looking for handouts who made bad choices in their lives and who want to bleed the hardworking families of America. Just ask your resident right-wing republican if you don't believe me. LOL

Copper is now being hoarded by developing countries....such as China.

In the communications world, we normally analyze the pros and cons of fiber-optic communications and copper communications based on bandwidth, distance, voice channels, distortion, and power. We also analyze the pricing and readiness of optical components for the next generation of optical communications. Rarely do we consider the raw material components of fiber optics or copper cables; however, this is a factor that should not be overlooked. In fact, comparing forecasts for rising copper prices, shortages, and theft alongside the costs of fiber optics and the advancements in both flexible fiber and fiber installation technologies provides some important insights.

Rising metal prices are being linked to the rise in copper thefts worldwide, with articles and videos on copper theft littering the Internet. Anti-copper theft solutions include the installation of fiber-based network monitoring and surveillance to protect the copper cables. So potentially, the rising cost of copper will be a major driver for fiber optics.

(Continued . . .)

According to the CSC in San Jose, CA - copper thefts are up 300% in their area alone.

Over the past several years, copper theft has reached epidemic proportions both in California, and nationwide. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, copper theft is a $1 billion problem that's only getting worse.

Increasing worldwide demand for copper and short supply has caused copper prices to skyrocket, reaching all-time highs within the past five years. At specific locations, such as commercial buildings and construction sites, copper metal can be found in abundance and is relatively easy to steal. Once stolen, it's virtually impossible for authorities to track or recover from recyclers, making copper theft a low-risk, high-profit crime that many thieves can't resist.
