Is Israel's "Extended European Holiday" about to end?

UPDATE:  WHAT'S IN THE WORKS, VERY SOON FOR EUROPEAN NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICY:

In the wake of the events in Tunisia and Egypt, EU leaders rushed to make declarations whose common denominator was the need for policy change. Beyond extending emergency humanitarian aid, EU leaders decided at a March 13 emergency session on a comprehensive review of existing cooperative and assistance programs with the region’s states. In the mid term, the EU intends to establish a new partnership with the nations of the southern Mediterranean called Partnership for Democracy and Shared Prosperity. The foundation of the partnership consists of giving assistance and incentives to those states choosing to work towards political and economic reforms. The intention is to have concrete proposals formulated by April 2011, when a comprehensive examination of the ENP will take place. [1]

ORIGINAL POST:  Here's another one I wish Herb Peters were around to talk to about:

Quoting from it in relevant part, we read:
Partnership:  Israel adroitly entered the European orbit at the beginning of the Barcelona Process with an EU-Israel Association Agreement in 1995 "establishing a partnership which provides for close and mutually beneficial trade and investment relations together with economic, social, financial, civil scientific, technological and cultural cooperation." Within the framework of the 2004 European Neighbourhood Policy, the EU-Israel Action Plan went into effect in April 2005 and was extended again in June 2010 to "increase trade economic integration particularly with the EU, inter alia, by developing trade and investment flows, by liberalising trade in services […] promote cooperation in transport, energy and telecom networks." The EU Association Council with Israel agreed that relations should continue to be based on the current Action Plan, whose validity was extended until June 2011. According to the spokesperson for EU Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy, "no new action plan or an upgrade is in sight at this stage." Furthermore, the February 22, 2011, Association Council reiterated the EU's June 2009 position that an "upgrade of relations needs to be seen in the context of the resolution of the Israel-Palestinian context through the implementation of a two-state solution." Lastly, the EU member states agreed to remain open to future cooperation with Israel, but according to the spokesperson, "substantial progress of the [Middle East Peace Process] MEPP remains an essential condition for moving forward concretely on bilateral relations." The spokesperson for the Embassy of Israel in Brussels stated that the "conditionality is detrimental to both the EU and Israel" and that "the MEPP should not be so closely linked to bilateral EU-Israeli relations."But it's about time some form of condition — even if it's a hypothetical condition for future relations — is iterated, if not imposed. Israel's special status of being an "EU member without being part of the institutions", as Javier Solana famously repeated, may be coming to an end.
Stuart Reigeluth is managing editor of Revolve magazine.
The ramifications should be obvious!

Stay tuned!

My own thinking is that Pastor Terry Jones is a dangerous bit player in the increasingly acted out "Armageddon Script" as first outlined in Peter LeMesurier's 1981 book by that title.

VIVA CRISTO REY!

From 1926 through 1935, MEXICO effectively banned Christianity from its midst. Hundreds of thousands died with the name of Jesus proclaimed with the proclamation VIVA CRISTO REY on their lips, bravely suffering martyrdom rather than deny their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Using the search term: "Viva Cristo Rey" I was able to bring up a wealth of youtube video materials on the subject. If you want a clue as to the nature of the coming Tribulation under the 5th seal of Revelation of true Believers, watch some of these.

Check out these two pieces of practical information in dealing with government bodies. You can go on line and get your state's Open Meetings Act and the Freedom of Information Act. These you can use to get copies of meeting minutes, agendas, budgets from schools, village governments, etc. With an FOIA you just have to fill out a form and present it, being very specific about the information you want. These are for the use of ordinary citizens and not just writers doing investigative journalism. After all you are being forced to give these strangers thousands of your hard earned dollars every year. Shouldn't you see where your money is going?

What brings this up is a story that appeared at World Net Daily yesterday.
http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=281685
http://tinyurl.com/3nn87u4

For ten years the school district was violating the law in keeping public information away from those who requested it. The district even took the step of suing the women to stop them from asking for the public information. Keep in mind the district has much more money to spend on legal fees than an ordinary citizen does.

The Goldwater Institute stepped in last year to help them. The school district was stopped though they are appealing.

Read the story and then remember that you can use the FOIA to access your children's records as well as get information about New Age type programs brought into the school. You can use an FOIA to learn if your community government is working on Sustainability programs from the UN.

Where control and money are concerned, not every government agency at any level is going to be moral and trustworthy. If you don't work to protect your freedom, you don't deserve it.

From SAVING PRIVATE ASHTON, READ VERY CAREFULLY!

But that is just what the leaders and the European institutions are there for, to create common policies that balance the different interests. The paradox we now confront is therefore readily apparent. For ten years we have been complaining that Europe lacks foreign policy institutions. The High Representative at the time, Javier Solana, had great dedication but few resources and feeble institutions, which obliged him to leap from crisis to crisis, cadging aircraft and carrying out delicate manoeuvres with a midget staff and an operating budget lower than what the European Commission was spending on cleaning its official buildings.

Now, it seems, we are in the opposite situation. We have at last created a foreign ministry for Europe in all but name. We have bestowed upon it a huge budget, its own diplomatic service, and, best of all, all the power that was previously fragmented among three institutions (the Council, the Commission and the rotating presidency) which previously overlapped and were continuously squaring off against each other. With the Lisbon treaty in hand, Europe has its trinity in place, and the High Representative is all-powerful.

All the same, its policy has yet to get off the ground. We may finally have the institutions, but seem to be missing a personality who can lead vigorously from the front.

and we all know who will be the nation who will "NOT" choose to work for peace. By choosing to work they mean:

'Israel - you give more of your land for peace. Israel you give until it hurts, and it will,[it already has]- Israel you give up part of Jerusalem for after all this is occupied land and the Palestinians are soooo deserving, since they have suffered so much.
Yes, they have suffered, but NOT at the hand of Israel, but by the hand of their own people who have held them hostage, using them as pawns in their quest to wipe Israel off the face of the earth, Israel has already been wiped off the map[s] used by Muslim nations.

Will the powers that be every learn?

Probably not..!!...

"It's time to get serious," one comments here. Haven't we been serious? I have for a long time hoped for the rapture because I know how serious it is for all of us. I am amazed at those who think they can hide away with their supplies during the trib, which is nearly on us. I would prefer to hope that God will deliver us from the wrath to come.

I haven't read this blog for some time, being very occupied with trying various chemotherpies which have poisoned me because of my original disease. I see that this blog of Constance now has become completely aware of the various threats hanging over us, which can ONLY be addressed by the Lord. The time to "fight" is past. The time to pray is here.

--1 Thessalonians 1:10

Yes, the tribulation is coming- it is already here- but even if we must suffer, it will only be for a short while. And we know from God's word that we will not suffer His wrath. Our blessed hope (Titus 2:13), Jesus our Lord is coming VERY soon.

All Christians for 2 millenia had hoped they would be around for the Rapture. Guess what happened to all of them? They all had to experience death instead and are now in that place that Jesus prepared for them. But, they will get in on that Resurrection business; so, all in all, it's all good. We'll all rejoice either way!

We talk about the NAM, aka NWO on this blog, but now my church has come face to face with Agenda 21.

Last summer the staff member responsible for a piece of property that our church bought got behind in upkeep--specifically, mowing.

The church received notice of a $1,000 fine. Of course we objected and appealed. Why such a high fine? The township cited that we had violated international law!

Our smart and shrewd staff member found some township property that had grass exceeding ours in height and took pictures showing measurements. Our fine was reduced to a reasonable $250.

Dorothy often laments the public's apathy to the information that we are trying to share. Perhaps now I can get some attention from folks in my church...??? I'm not holding my breath, but my volume is growing louder.

Dear Constance,

Father Richard Fragomeni is reportedly a liberal dissenter who has indeed on several occasions reportedly referred to the Lord as "She." Fr. Fragomeni also promotes an "all inclusive" church that approves of homosexuality.

While the following is admittedly from a Catholic perspective, I think that Fr. Fragomeni nevertheless runs afoul of beliefs that are held in common by both Catholic and non-Catholic Christians.......especially vis a vis his apparent equivocation on the divinity of Christ!

The following review of Fragomeni's BLEST ARE WE books is from Catholic Culture to which I am a regular subscriber:

BLEST ARE WE

Description
This well-designed site is the online presence of the widely-used catechetical series, Blest Are We. This series is published by RCL Benziger, a division of CFM Religion Publishing Group.

The focus of Blest Are We may be summed up as follows: community, service and social justice. The program aims to "respect diversity, working for social justice on a global scale and teaching effective skills of dialogue, negotiation and non-violent ways to bring about change." So much damage is done through bad catechesis. We recommend fighting to keep programs like these out of our Churches.

The following is from the "Keeping it Catholic" site:

BLESSED ARE WE: A NEW RED FLAG

"Blessed Are We" acknowledges that Jesus leads us to God, but it is not made very clear that Jesus IS God. He is mentioned as "messiah, (small m) but His role is played down more to a level of another prophet. At other times, his (sic) "salvific mission" is mentioned. Most disturbing, especially once one gets to the lessons on ISLAM.
"Blessed are We" does not correctly teach the difference between respecting a person of a different religion, because that person is also made in God's image (not to mention that person's soul needs salvation through the Catholic Church) and his belief system; instead it teaches we must also "respect" a person's non-Catholic religion, with a special emphasis on respecting Islam. Furthermore, "Blessed Are We" does nothing positive for the student by presenting these "belief systems" since it does not correct them with true Catholic doctrine. Instead, it indoctrinates the student with the false viewpoint that other beliefs are acceptable, thus promoting the sin of religious indifferentism (i.e., the false belief that all religions are perceived as good and equal.)

Susanna,

Fr. Fragomeni is leading workshops for the New Roman Missal. The purpose of the Missal is to correct the liturgical abuses and make it more scriptural.

How does this play into his New Age views?

I thought the New Agers would be running for the hills. Given the reaction from Maynooth already.
